- RWU: So we check all the outbuildings and he's like, whatever. So then 20 minutes he's like, Yeah, we're good. You can come out. So we call the cops because we're assuming this is a stolen vehicle. Like and it's got like Alberta plates on it. Like, you know, not that Alberta plates appear as un no uncommon, but you're just like, I have no idea. So we called, they're like, Okay, well, we'll come investigate at some point, but they don't say when. Then like an hour and a half goes by, some and we're like up checking. They went through the gate. And like left the gate open to our cows. We're like checking. This chick pulls up with an old guy. Like an old like not old, but like he like in his seventies. Yeah, yeah. pull up and she's Like with a tractor or no, just like in an old truck. Okay. And she was like, Hey, hi, sorry, that's my cause we're we're expecting it's one of theirs because why else are you coming up there? She's like, Yeah, sorry, like that's my truck. ⁓ got lost using the GPS. ⁓ is no stinking way. No. And so Keith. Because we're so far off the beaten path. And don't get me wrong, GPS can take you pretty hairwire. Yeah. But all our roads back here are oil field roads. So like you're not. No. And then once you hit granny's, the road ends. So like GPS isn't, it's not even on the map where they were. Like that's not a thing. There's no way you you would use that wrong. Yeah. So she's like, yeah, it's like my boyfriend's truck. And like this, this guy's like, yeah, I'm her neighbor. Like I came and picked her up last night. All these things. So do you know this neighbor? No, it wasn't our neighbor. It was her neighbor. Okay. She had called for help. She lived over in a subdivision over by the highway. Okay, but like around this area? No, like 30 minutes from here. Twenty to thirty minutes. ⁓ by the highway, highway. Yeah. So not like not close enough. So I'm like, what? She's like, yeah, my boyfriend was at his at a friend's place. so the other day so we live like right on the ⁓ road basically we did a lot of tree clearing. So in the wintertime you can totally see into our yard. ⁓ But in summertime there's like a lot more trees and stuff. So like and I left I'm girly who tans. I'm I'm like kind of the naked neighbor. Like kind of, okay. I'm not gonna admit it, but I like kind of out. Secretly the naked neighbor. Yes. Okay. Not anymore. This is out to the world, so the secret part is gone. You are now officially the naked naked neighbor. The naked neighbor. And so we're like, who's the well, who's your friend? Yeah, where what? And so she names and get there. She no, she left there. And so she like names a friend. It is a neighbor. Okay. So we're like, okay, so then we're trying to call said neighbor. They're not answering. Of course. And so we're like trying to piece it together the cops still aren't coming out here. They're in no rush to come out here. So like she has all the right information. She's like Not that I'm like naked, but I'm I'll be out there in a sh like shorts and a bra or whatever, right? Like doing my gardening. or like the kids are on the trampoline and I'm just like lying on the trampoline too. Like, you know. ⁓ yeah, typically I'm out in my garden like that. Or the other night I was like, ⁓ I gotta do the chickens. But you know, you're in bed and you're like, okay, now you have to go out and lock up the chickens. I just like put my house coat ⁓ ⁓ The story also like isn't adding up, by the way. Yeah. We're missing like s some key points. Keith's like, well, if you got this stuck, like you went through that gate. She no, I didn't open any gates. He's like, he looks her dead in the face, was like, you either opened it or you hit it with your bumper. You no, you either got out and opened it or you opened it with your bumper. No. Like refusing. Really? And so Keith is like, well, because he was a you know, we're a bit hostile because like And then I go out in my like muck boats. Yep. Yes and my house. And I'm like out there like closing the coop up. And like anybody my coop is closer to the road and to the clearing. And so who drives by and like seeders are going by, the sprayers going by Yeah, like it's a busy time of year to be out there. ⁓ And so ⁓ neighbors have probably seen me in This is annoying. Well that too she could have run over a calf. Like you can see where she goosed it. There was a choice made. Yeah. To make it through that mud. That's crazy. Because you can see where, like, she anyways, like, so yeah, all this to say we got it sorted out. The cops never did come. We just called and said, like, hey, so and so is here to pick up the truck. This is her boyfriend's truck. This is the name. Yeah. And did they run the plates? Yeah. So they said, Well, that matches the information. so many different types of outfits. And it's so funny. I'm just like, okay, this is life. This is where we're at. You think because you live 40 minutes, whatever, far enough out of town that neighbors aren't really Yeah. Like a thing. Okay, so if nobody guessed, we're gonna talk about today what our cows or our chickens That's all they would say. So what do you do? Like, how do you you can't really technically we could have hold held the truck because it was they were trespassing. Yeah. But it was such an awkward thing. Or your garden has seen you in. What your garden has seen you in that you would not be seen in public. Yes. In. If you were going to town. If you were going to town. Yes. Sometimes your neighbors do see it. Yes. That is true. You you didn't you wouldn't think. You feel like being forty minutes out or whatever. Yes. Yeah. I live in the boondocks. I don't have But you do. You do. You just Just an and it's always when you're not like Expecting it. Expecting it. Or you think you're Or you're like, Okay, I have a quick chore. Like to just for me to run out and close the coop is like two seconds. yeah. Of course that's when the seeder goes by. A hundred percent. And they're not driving like a hundred, they're going like thirty. So they're like they're getting the view. ⁓ they're in it. Yeah. like a f solid three or four minutes. Yes. Doo doo doo. And it's like, do you run and hide or do you just own it? Own it. I just Well most of the time I just own it. Yeah. Yeah. I was I was out milking one one evening. This was last year I guess. I was in my just like a jammy top and some jammy shorts, you know? Hip like just out of the shower. Like fresh out of the shower. Out there milking. I get a call from Keith. Never a good sign at this time either. Actually I don't even think he called me. I think he pulled up. He said, Grab your cow, the bull is out. And it's always when you're like wearing the dumbest thing. Yes. So I'm assuming ⁓ well just because my cow was in heat. So I quickly haltered her. We're gonna use her as bait. That sounds reasonably quick. Yeah, okay. I did not know that he had called dad. So I I left the house in what I was wearing. I I grabbed my milk pail, I brought it to the house, I processed it, I grabbed the halter, I halter my cow, we walk out to the barnyard, which is like a ways. Yeah. And we get my cow in the barnyard. The bull is not Not in the barnyard. ⁓ is very much out. ⁓ thought he was just like out of the corrals No, this guy is like Gone. Long gone Saskatchewan. So we're going back down the road. We leave my cow in the barnyard. We jump on the side by side. And all of a sudden I hear a quad pull up and I said, Who is coming? He said, Well, I had to call dad. I said, I have no bra ⁓ He said, Okay. I grab a soaking wet ⁓ Not soaking wet, but a dcause it is rained. So it's like a ⁓ sweater to like throw on my goodness over top again I'm in like jammy shorts okay this is not They're like flying in the wind. Yeah I was like hi like he pulls up he's all business everybody is business of course this business and you're just like okay. I'm like great so then ⁓ I'm that's fine. I'm in in I'm in inappropriate footwear. yeah. Because I never leave my house in appropriate. No. Not as often as I should. The girl who has a crock out in the bees. Yes. That's another story for another time. I just don't wear anyways, I'm like in my flip-flops, but they've like the bat the barefoot roadrunners, whatever you call ⁓ So they're like the worst shoe, but like they're not the best. Yeah. Well, this bull is in getting in with our heifers. He is jump he's he's in there. But he's on the side of the fence that they're not on. So he's trying to figure out how to get. He's like in the field side, they're on the creek bedside. ⁓ So then Keith is like, well we gotta chase in. So we're ch we're moving this animal in. Well this guy chases the fence. My husband jumps the fence like a gazelle ⁓ and runs after it. His dad looks at me, he's like, Looks like you're next. My husband jumps the fence like a gazelle ⁓ and runs after it. His dad looks at me, he's like, Looks like you're next. Yeah. So I daintily go over the barbed wire fence in my pajama on Yeah, trying not to get chewed up. ⁓ over there and Keith's like run and I was like I I am running as fast as I can. Thank you very much. Yeah. So I daintily go over the barbed wire fence in my pajama on Yeah, trying not to get chewed up. ⁓ over there and Keith's like run and I was like I I am running as fast as I can. Thank you very much. We finally like get out of that creek bottom into the barnyard. is like hollering, he's like lost his voice because he's because this bull is like, I mean It's like three weeks before breeding season. This guy's out early, but he he smelt the ladies. He is like hot to trot. Yeah. Trying to get them turned around is horrible. So anyways, we get him turned around, we get him going. I am running through th like rose bushes, thistle bushes for my dear life out there. In your shorts. In my shorts. No bra like we're we're in the thick of it, okay? I get out there, Keith is like, what took you so long? What? My legs are bleeding. Sir, do you ⁓ ⁓ And he's killing himself. yeah. I'm like I didn't realize this was gonna be an event. He's gonna I told you the bull was out. ⁓ I also did not have time to go back to the house, get away. Yeah, then you would have like Yes. There's no winning. No. So I just need to walk around in appropriate footwear and clothing all the time. It was ten o'clock at night. Yeah, no. I was milking the cow. Yeah. I don't care what that cow sees me in. Yeah. Exactly. Anyways. find that always happens to me, like We're doing a project at home and so I'm like wearing whatever. Like well on Sunday I was wearing like my Lulus. I had a cute little sweater on. And I was like, I'm feeling so cute. And then Jorims like, Okay, we gotta go to the farm and drop off the tractors. So then of course This happens every time. We go to the farm and then his mom's like, just come in, have ice cream, whatever. And I'm like wearing this sweater and it like hot on Sunday. Yeah, it's hot. But like when we were fencing, it was cold and windy. Yeah. So then of course I'm like, okay. Like I'm always in like the most not appropriate clothes when his mom's like, Yeah, just come in for an hour and hang out. And I'm like, Why did I not plan for this? I know, it's like as soon as All right guys, thanks for joining us and we'll catch you next week. Yeah, we'll catch you next week. there's no planning. That's the thing. There's just not. I don't know. ⁓ then there's like times Okay, I don't know if anybody else can relate with this. I don't know. ⁓ like I was getting ⁓ ⁓ our niece had graduated. We were throwing like a graduation, her thing was out here. Okay. Which is fine. We had a cow go down in the creek bed. So ⁓ was an old cow. She'd gotten stuck kind of on a root ⁓ And she couldn't get back up. ⁓ So we'd found her in the creek bed because her calf was bawling, like couldn't find his mom. And we're like looking for anyways, we couldn't find her. We go back out. So we went in for lunch thinking, ⁓ he just needs to mother up. We'll find her. We go have lunch. We come I'd showered. I had like the eye masks on, my hair wrapped up in a towel. We were just gonna go do a quick check. I had so much confidence that he was gonna find his mom. Perfect. No, that was a lie. Keith finds her in the creek bed. She's dead? No. ⁓ So we've he's like, I need your help roll like tipping her upright. Cause you know, when they like flat out and they get high centered they can't get back up. So she was like on a root if I remember correctly, it must have rolled over to get her back, maybe. I don't know. Couldn't get up. And I mean, she it was her last year to calf. Like she was Yeah. Old. So we're trying he's like, I'm across, so we're yelling at each other 'cause we've been looking for her. And he had crossed the creek at a low point to get her. And he's yelling at me to cross. Okay. So I'm like I again, I've just just showered. I try to jump the creek. ⁓ of course. Because him and his daddy long legs jumped the creek. I can see I that's the thing. I can see his tracks through the mud where he crossed. So I followed them. I try to jump, I land like in the creek. Mud all the way up my legs. I lose my hair because I wasn't thinking, 'cause he was like, she's down. You kinda just like panic. Yeah. I guess not panic, but you're kinda like, ⁓ we're just like, ⁓ gotta go. Gotta go. Hair towel creek. One of my eye like the eye mask is like droop I can feel it like drooping off my face and I'm like running and we are like trying to like tip her ⁓ over. We get her tipped, we get her up, she's good, we get her back up onto the not there. Yes. And then we we're driving back through the field. Again, is now ⁓ just out there for for the wind to dry. I have mud all the way up ⁓ everywhere. ⁓ My hair towel is just like sitting beside me in mud. I mask just it's rough. I look terrible. Everybody is pulling up for for the grad party. And we have to drive back through that field where the grad party is being hosted. And you're just like, hi. Hi guys. I literally was like, hi. And then we just kept going. ⁓ my goodness. Yeah. What about I know, Lacey, you get caught. In a lot. Yes. Lacey is also a naked neighbor. I am. Yes. I'm a naked gardener. Yes. I love okay, and then so the garden where my garden is is not ideal because you can see up the driveway to the road. So I don't normally go into the garden. Yeah. But I'll greenhouse naked all the time. All the time. Like full naked? Yes. Like I need to know. What about your kids? I bring a house coat out there with me. ⁓ for if and when. If I need to run back to the house. I can. Do they just know like this is mum's time? Yeah. Yeah, that's fair. Yeah. They're old enough to make sense. Yeah. Yeah. but my father-in-law showed up unannounced one day. no. ⁓ did you have your house coat No, I did not have it that day because the kids were somewhere like ⁓ you didn't need it. You did it. ⁓ no. And ⁓ He's Hey, anyone here? Hello, anyone here? And I just like Pulled the greenhouse door shut. Hiding. My phone was in the house. ⁓ no. ⁓ no. So you couldn't even Well, what am I gonna say? I'm naked in the greenhouse, please go home. Like I did you just did you just please I just pretended I wasn't there. Yeah. I just hit and held the door shut and hoped he didn't walk to the greenhouse looking for me. He walked in the house and was like walked around and then he heard And then he left or what? Yeah. And then he came back it later and he was hilarious. ⁓ I was like I popped came in this morning, but you must not have been home. No, I was not. I was not home. I don't I must have been out for a walk. Don't know. Yeah. I don't know where I was. ⁓ my gosh. ⁓ hilarious. And then this winter I was like, David got the tractor stuck. in the pond. Well it's it should have been frozen and it wasn't. And so he like went to plow it out, like plow the snow off. yeah. And 'cause you guys skate on it. Yeah, we s well we didn't this year. There was too much snow and it wasn't frozen. Mm-hmm. Yeah, and it also wasn't that much water So he went to plow it. ⁓ And sunk. ⁓ This like January. Yeah. So it should have been frozen. Was it December? Mm-hmm. It was at the Christmas concert. yeah. Yeah yeah. 'Cause he missed it. Yes. He was trying to get the tractor out. Yeah, you're right. ⁓ anyways. We pulled it we eventually got it out. But it was like, I don't know, ten o'clock at night. And he's like, Hey, can you just come help me quick? Famous last words ever. Quick. ⁓ Help and quick. ⁓ like, they don't align Yeah. But the problem was I was like Ready for bed. Yeah. Yes. And so I like just throw on my little house coat. Yeah. And my kid my kids have these Highland cow slippers and these duck slippers. So it's like freezing cold. So I just pull on their slippers and run out, jump in the tractor to Help him. And like that was fine. We got the tractor out, got it. And then he says, just run this tractor back to mom and dad. My truck is there. My truck is there. And I was like, it's midnight. There's gonna be no one there. It's fine. I'll just really quickly there's nothing under my house coat. Yeah. Nothing. So I was like, it's fine. I'll just run. A back is trap and their their shop is not beside the house. Right. There's like a bit of bush and it's a you can pull into a different driveway. Yeah, it's totally there's it's midnight. Nobody's gonna be out. I'm not gonna change. Why would they be? I'm gonna be fast. I back in. I'm like shutting the tractor off. Go to and there's headlights that pull into the shop. no. And my sister in law gets out. Okay, thankfully it's a girl. It was at least not my father in law. So I'm like sitting in the tractor, waiting. Cause like if I get down the stairs, the stairs are too far apart. My house coat will open. She will see things she doesn't want to see. Yeah. So she she pulls up, she's like, Hey, ⁓ you just hanging out in the tractor? And I was like, Yeah. Cause I still had to like shut the lights off and Yeah, you're I'm shutting it down. You know, like I'm shutting it down. Whatever. well and like I Get out in time before she had was coming over. Like there was not enough time. Like there wasn't enough time. You'd make a choice. So I was yeah, like and she's like she then she like looks me up and down, she's like, hmm, you're dressed very appropriately for this, are you? And it was also like very cold. It was freezing cold. Like I cannot believe you were out there in your house, go. And slippers. And slippers. ⁓ my gosh. Did you guys talk? Well then, yeah, she chatted a bit and then Finally she's like, Are you coming out? And I was like, Well I'm gonna flash the thing is I don't really have anything on under this house coat, so I kinda have to wait for you to leave unless you wanna see things you don't want to see. And she was like, She's bolted. Yeah. She's like, No, thank you. Great chat too. Yeah, I gotta go. ⁓ yeah. Enjoy the cow slippers. Yeah. Have fun. That's yeah. We But like we can't wear jeans to bed or we can't No! You can't be in work clothes all the time. No. The other one that was kinda funny was last year. David's aunt and uncle were branding. And they like just have a tipping table. And they have it set up pretty well now. Like we used to like flat ass them and do all this stuff. He used to what? Flat ass them? It's when you wrestle them. ⁓ I've never heard that term. Yeah, I've never heard that c wha what is this like on horseback? What do you talk about? No, it's when you You just tackle No. Like so when you rope them and then you tail ⁓ down, the person working the ground is flat assing. Hmm. This is new. You Okay, this is new. No. ⁓ I I definit Anyways. Anyways. So they used to run ⁓ out the up the alley out and then you'd grab ⁓ and flip ⁓ and hold them. Yeah. Now they have a ⁓ tipping table. So I'm like, it's not really a big deal. I'm gonna go in shorts and a and like sometimes I run a needle and flip flops and And they don't do horse stuff, so it's not like you need to wear jeans or anything. No. It's pretty chill. They normally have like the cows in and sorted. Well they didn't this time. ⁓ no. So I'm just like running out in the backfield with my flip flops through the pricker bushes. It was fine until I broke my flip flops. ⁓ no. So then I just ditched them. ⁓ yeah. Yeah, you would. Yeah. And I was like running around, we got them in. They like make a couple loops in the field and and ⁓ all the stuff. Finally get them in and they're like sorted. And I'm just like running around my bare feet, right? I take my flip flops to the house and throw them in the garbage. Yeah. And ⁓ and then we branded all the stuff. You're just bare feet this whole time. The whole time. And I was like, it's fine. Whatever. But then his aunt was like at the end of the day or something, she's like, what? Why are your flip-flops in my garbage? And I was like, they broke this morning. And she's like, ⁓ I could have lent you shoes. And I was like, Well, later. I don't know. I thought you guys knew when like I was like running across the field and the flip-flop broke and I pulled them off and chucked them. Like I said, I hiked them to the house and they're like hanging on by a thread. Yeah. Like ⁓ my God. There's no flip-flop left. So do our husbands like get caught in these compromising positions or are they always just wearing their jeans? Okay, Keith. ⁓ no. No Keith. No, Keith did once. He has this set of work pants. Yeah. That are holier than holy. The crotch has been just absolutely demolished. Dumb there's nothing left. Yeah. And I don't know, I wanna say it was his granny and aunt. Had like come out for a visit or something. Maybe I'm anyways, somebody was out and I was like, you've got not the right pants on to be touring them around. But that's probably the only it's not even that compromising. It's just I don't know. I don't think he's ever been David definitely has had a lot of holes in places that Yeah. David always has holes in places. David's knees are always ripped out. No, his crotch. His crotch is. Is it his crotch? Yeah. Riding in the saddle. Bus rub rubs there. And then he'll go to stand up and then ⁓ the whole way around. Seam to seam. Seam to seam. Yeah. That's both sides. Like he'll come and it is like the crotch is like he'll also rip like from the zipper down around. Yeah. And then he'll be, Can you mend these? What's there to mend? What am I going to mend? All the important parts are gone. Yeah. want me to fix your pant leg? ⁓ you want to sew your pant leg back? Like ⁓ actually have a horrible time of ripping the crotch out of my pants. I get hung up on the because the boys, they're all long legged. So they'll just hop a fence. I get s I go to hop same fence, ⁓ in the barbed wire, and then I'm like hung up ⁓ the fence. You don't go like through the top two. It depends on sometimes it depends on the Okay, okay. But even then I've also got hung up going through and then I g if I wear my bibs I always get caught. ⁓ yeah. So I think that's why I generally try to go over versus through. Not very agile. I don't know. I have this very proud moment as a kid. Okay. We always checked cows, so we were calving. And my family always wore dresses to church. Yes. And when I was like, I don't know, ten plus, you had to wear ⁓ nylons. Nylons were the thing. Okay. ⁓ yeah, nylon's. And you know, like you can't make it to church without like I couldn't barely get upstairs without a hole in my nylons. Yeah, you're Every single Sunday. My mom's like, why do you have another run? I'm like, you could just stop making me wear these things. Yes. Yeah. ⁓ Right. So I'm like all ready for church. Got my nylons on and the little fitted denim skirt. But it was like long, fitted tight denim skirt. And I was wearing heels. I almost never wore heels, but I was wearing heels. How old are you, sorry? I don't know. I must have been like teens. Okay, early teens, right? Early teens. Yeah, 'cause my brother and I were old enough to check cows and then come to church. Okay. Right. So we drove separate. So we went out to like check cows and There was a cow calving and I like, ⁓ we should just go make sure the calf is up and sucked. Blah blah blah. So we I like crawl through the fence, walk out there to check. She is mean. ⁓ no. So she charged. I ran straight through that barbed wire fence, and that is the only Sunday my nylons didn't get a run. The denim saved you. Listen, hmm. I don't know. Dude, that's wild. The Lord saved you. Yeah, the Lord saved. Wow. you imagine if you would have showed up with like a big old run? Like a rip in your dress What were you doing? What were you doing? Checking cows. ⁓ so funny. Okay, it is funny. I think when every pair of shoes I have has cow poo on it. Yeah. Like even my good town ones, they always get cow poo. Or chicken poo. Because you go and cool, you check quick and then you. ⁓ Run to town. Yes. I always every pair of shoes. Yeah. Has chicken poo. There's always on there. I had to buy a new pair of shoes yesterday for photography, because I was like, my old pair of shoes for photography have become my like town shoes. And then they get chicken poo all over them. All over them. Yeah, there's no winning. There's no winning. Do you is it just me or does it feel like whenever you're trying to get out the door for church? Like you're nicely dressed, you're just doing like one quick last check. ⁓ yeah. Something goes haywire or is up. I feel like it's mostly when my kids have commitments. Like gymnastics, swim club, ⁓ hockey. There was my daughter was in gymnastics like three years ago. Think about it. Other people are late and they don't have to check cows. Yeah, I know. So they were like it was during like calving season and stuff and I always showed up probably like five minutes late and like a mess. Cause I was like and then I was like, I'm so sorry, my cow is calving, or like, I'm so sorry, my cowing's are out Yeah, I'm so sorry. And then one of the moms came up to me at the very end and she's like, I've always like I wanted to say hi. I'm just really intimidated because I feel like you're just like the real deal. And you're hardcore. And was ⁓ ⁓ I feel like I'm surviving over here, but sure. Thank you. Hanging on by a thread. I'm a thread. Yeah. Yeah. Don't mind me. I don't think I'm the real deal. I think I'm just Over here, living up. Dirty and crazy. That's funny. That's so funny. So this Sunday. Yeah. This isn't like what I was We're ready for I'm ready for church. Yeah. I also have this thing that I'm not on time for anything. I don't have kids yet and I ⁓ Can't time it. It has gotten worse since I got married. Yeah. Because my husband has no minutes could be five hours. There is no concept of time. I think that might be a farmer thing. I don't ⁓ know a little bit. I'm not sure. Anyways, ⁓ he's like, I'm just gonna go check really quick. I'm gonna hop in the shower we'll be gone in 15 minutes. Perfect. Perfect. Love that. ⁓ get a call. We also had to be in early for church because we were he was on ministry team. Okay. So he calls me. ⁓ And says, there is a truck stuck in the mud in our calving area. And I was like, What? I'm sorry, what? I was like, Whose tru I have no I was like, is there anybody there? There? No, doors are locked. It's just sitting in the field. Like it ⁓ other thing is they could have went fifty feet over and hit the culvert and went over where muddy gone on a normal trail. Trail. The other thing is They hit the biggest mud hole you they could find. The biggest. Anywhere. Seriously. And so I'm like, what do you mean? Then he texts me, because he wanted to go look around, like something's not right. They went up past Granny's. So you're like, even to get to Granny's. They went past Granny's? Yes. Okay. They went on the bridge and everything. That's my point exactly. What you just said. The bridge to Granny's. Well, sorry, that's probably gonna be really loud I'm sorry. bridge to Granny's is sketchy. Is sketchy. ⁓ I know everybody's like, it's fine, it's fine. No, it's not. I hate that bridge. It gives me it look it is sturdy, sturdy, but it is like this. Like it's an old, it's anyways. It's a whole debate. So at some point you go through our barnyard, you hit this bridge. Most people turn around. Turn around. Yeah. Because it looks sketch. It is sketch. And they just went right through that. Wait, right here past her house. So there's no longer a road. The gravel ends at Granny's driveway. Technically, the gravel ends like in the barnyard. Yeah. Because it's a driveway. It's not a maintained road. No. But it definitely ends at her yard. They drove past it up through this like little hairy goat, I call it a goat trail. And it's like rough. Like it is It's rutted, it's not maintained, like it is in bad shape. Because we don't use it. No. Also, there's no reason for anybody. So they just kept on going. Just kept on going. So did you find the people? Yeah. So this is what's crazy. So no, first off, Keith texts me, lock the doors. I'm gonna go figure out 'cause nobody's there. Nobody's there. So we thought, ⁓ maybe they they're crashed at Granny's. Like somebody's hanging out there because their truck is stuck. Like, you're not getting it out with another truck. You need Equipment to pull it out. Like you're gonna need a tractor to pull it out. So he's I gotta I'm gonna go look around. He said, Lock the doors, don't don't do anything, till im back. That is the most terrifying thing. That is when you live in the boondocks. Like you don't expect anybody out ⁓ let alone that. So we had heard barking, like aggressive barking, but it wasn't like major. I was also still Just Moo Dog or your other dogs? The other dogs were barking. But like they bark at Everything coyotes, foxes, whatever. They bark, they bark. So I wasn't that worried. Keith had like opened the window to see if he could hear anything. He couldn't hear anything. Yeah. I also had the fan on, whatever. So we went back to bed. That was at 2 30 that that previous morning. So, anyways, he's like, So, like 20 minutes later, he texted he's Well, I think it's clear I've checked all the bushes,
