- 0:49Speaker 2: I am drinking. I'm being a typical thirty year old.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm drinking coffee because after this I'm going to the
- 0:57Speaker 2: jet So if only I had a little bottle of aviation,
- 1:03Speaker 2: if in my coffee be a little more timely. What
- 1:07Speaker 2: are you drinking?
- 1:08Speaker 5: If anything, I have some high quality hto and a
- 1:12Speaker 5: little power aid situation going on, But situations those are
- 1:17Speaker 5: far away because I've had to reorganize my reorient myself
- 1:21Speaker 5: in my living room to cut out the background noise.
- 1:24Speaker 3: But yeah, they're there. I can see them.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Use the force. Don't come to collect. What are you drinking.
- 1:33Speaker 4: That age? Cold? Nice? Cold?
- 1:37Speaker 1: Hi?
- 1:38Speaker 4: Shouldn dioxide?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Nice? Nice? Okay, then so we'll get right into it
- 1:44Speaker 2: for the sake of time. One thing you all forgat
- 1:46Speaker 2: for joining this week. I also want to give a
- 1:48Speaker 2: huge shout out and thank you to my guest last week,
- 1:50Speaker 2: episode one six, Nice Hermi's Oslander. You can find that
- 1:54Speaker 2: podcast wherever podcasts are available. I'll like, sure you go
- 1:58Speaker 2: check out his stuff, including the skull, but podcasts great
- 2:01Speaker 2: Sho actually listened to a couple of my during my
- 2:04Speaker 2: work hours today. Definitely, definitely, definitely understood why he said
- 2:09Speaker 2: that him and I had the same vibe. So I
- 2:11Speaker 2: really appreciate that. Wish nothing the best. We'll definitely do
- 2:13Speaker 2: some more stuff again here in the future, so let's
- 2:16Speaker 2: get into it. Per usual, This is a slurp review,
- 2:19Speaker 2: as always whenever we do any kind of super review
- 2:21Speaker 2: on the show. In this canteena, there are spoilers. I
- 2:26Speaker 2: don't know why we have to keep saying. This is
- 2:28Speaker 2: actually a topic of him and I kind of discussed
- 2:29Speaker 2: last week. If previews are fine, cool, but when it's
- 2:34Speaker 2: gone to review. It's review time, spoiler time, all that shit.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So as expected, Deadpool Wolverine the first rated our movie
- 2:46Speaker 2: technically by the Walt Disney Company. Let's get into.
- 2:50Speaker 3: It quick side note.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I mean apparently it's the highest grossing rate in our
- 2:55Speaker 5: movie of all times.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Did you guys see that?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yes? I did. It broke the record. I think it
- 2:59Speaker 2: made a total two hundred and eleven million this weekend. Balker,
- 3:03Speaker 2: that's that's a lot of good shame for the rated
- 3:06Speaker 2: ar movie. Oh the kids, the period. People will bring
- 3:08Speaker 2: their kids to this ship. I've been to it twice
- 3:12Speaker 2: and there was a fuck ton of kids, just as
- 3:16Speaker 2: the movie says, let's fucking go so irresponsible.
- 3:20Speaker 5: But yeah, that would that would ruin the movie for me.
- 3:23Speaker 5: You're gonna have to explain everything.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And then, oh, good dad, what is pegging?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Uh Dad? Where did those claws just go?
- 3:32Speaker 6: I did hear the movie theater I was watching. I
- 3:35Speaker 6: forgot what word it was, but it was like some kids.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Didn't ask what uh might have been pegging? Or I
- 3:41Speaker 4: may have not, but I did hear.
- 3:43Speaker 6: I did hear a kid ask what's the like what's blank?
- 3:47Speaker 6: And it was like one of the inappropriate words I
- 3:49Speaker 6: was like.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Oh no, they're gonna have a lot of questions.
- 3:54Speaker 2: So I just watched the movie. And that's the best
- 3:56Speaker 2: part about those movies. I mean, we the three, but
- 3:59Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, I'm gonna assume I don't know
- 4:02Speaker 2: much of it, like your childhood other like like the
- 4:04Speaker 2: things we talked about, like Patch, I've been friends since
- 4:06Speaker 2: we were like two, and like, look, three of us,
- 4:10Speaker 2: we have great parents who love our parents to death.
- 4:12Speaker 2: But you know what, should they have let us watch
- 4:15Speaker 2: some of this shit we watch we were kids?
- 4:17Speaker 6: Probably know you mean unlimited unrestricted access to the internet.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, yeah that too. I mean, should I
- 4:24Speaker 2: have seen Predator when I was four years old? Probably not?
- 4:27Speaker 2: One of the first jokes I ever known in my
- 4:29Speaker 2: entire life. Is youan Frankenstein where he goes and knocks
- 4:31Speaker 2: on the door, and then he and then and then
- 4:33Speaker 2: he goes what knockers? And of course he seems he goes,
- 4:35Speaker 2: thank you doctor because he thinks she's talking about her.
- 4:39Speaker 2: But hey, you know what you might say, we probably
- 4:42Speaker 2: should have been raised differently. I say, the three of
- 4:44Speaker 2: us hit some pretty cool, awesome fucking parents.
- 4:47Speaker 7: So yeah, yeah, yeah, no, like uh, but then again,
- 4:55Speaker 7: like it's no, like, it wasn't even just the Internet.
- 4:58Speaker 3: It's like what was on TV at the time.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I'm and like what channels we had access to and
- 5:02Speaker 5: what came out later at night on certain channels.
- 5:05Speaker 3: You know, it's.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we all remember, we all remember the satellite television
- 5:10Speaker 2: for ten o'clock. I mean, I mean, I know Rene's
- 5:18Speaker 2: not the biggest fan, but like, yeah, Patrick and I
- 5:19Speaker 2: were watching pro wrestling when we were kids during the
- 5:22Speaker 2: quote unquote Attitude era. We're literally every third, every third
- 5:26Speaker 2: sentence had a middle finger, some guy flipping someone off,
- 5:29Speaker 2: or you know, partial nudity. But hey, that's just.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Like, yeah, bron panties match and oh god, the guy
- 5:36Speaker 5: dressed up as a king calling breasts puppies, and there's
- 5:39Speaker 5: there's good times.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Let's uh, let's not digress too far from club.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yes, kids did go to this movie clearly, as Patrick mentioned,
- 5:48Speaker 2: because the numbers are insane. I think it's the six,
- 5:52Speaker 2: if I'm not mistaken, biggest opening of all time, and
- 5:54Speaker 2: it's i mean, it's the biggest of our rating movie
- 5:56Speaker 2: of all time. But and I was reading a standard
- 5:58Speaker 2: because I'm a movie nerd at essentially every movie that's
- 6:02Speaker 2: been in the top ten has made a billion dollars,
- 6:05Speaker 2: so it's expected this one will make a billion. It'll
- 6:10Speaker 2: be interesting to see what happens because some of the
- 6:12Speaker 2: other movies that have made a billion dollars actually have
- 6:15Speaker 2: not been screened in China. This is actually a movie
- 6:18Speaker 2: that is being screened in China, which I'm shocked to
- 6:20Speaker 2: hear that.
- 6:21Speaker 6: But they don't make any they don't make any jokes
- 6:25Speaker 6: against China.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Well that's true too. I mean they make they make
- 6:30Speaker 2: plenty of jokes towards Marvel and Disney, which we'll get
- 6:33Speaker 2: to in a second here.
- 6:34Speaker 5: But oh and not just those two, not just some
- 6:38Speaker 5: some of my favorite shit in this movie.
- 6:40Speaker 3: But yeah, let's get to it.
- 6:42Speaker 5: So.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is the sub review of Deadpool and Wolverine.
- 6:45Speaker 2: No it is not Deadpool three. No, it is not
- 6:47Speaker 2: Deadpool versus Wolverine Dawn of the multi Multiverse. It's a
- 6:53Speaker 2: DC joke and uh yeah, we'll get into it. This
- 6:57Speaker 2: was and if anything, this should have been called Deadpool
- 6:59Speaker 2: and Wolf ring the Fox end Game, because that's pretty
- 7:03Speaker 2: much what this was. But right away, I'll just get
- 7:07Speaker 2: right on and say it. This movie to me was
- 7:09Speaker 2: worth the absolute hype two years ago, almost two years
- 7:14Speaker 2: I remember when they made the announcement that Wolverine was
- 7:16Speaker 2: gonna come back, which, of course everyone's like, how because
- 7:19Speaker 2: he's dead.
- 7:21Speaker 3: They figured that out pretty quick.
- 7:23Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, not only they figured out they the
- 7:25Speaker 2: first fresh release, they said, Logan not gonna touch that
- 7:29Speaker 2: first five minutes. Yeah, fuck that, We're not gonna mess
- 7:35Speaker 2: with Logan first five minutes. We're gonna mess with Loganroeds.
- 7:39Speaker 3: To desecrate a body.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Of of course, an antimantium corpse to probably the one
- 7:47Speaker 2: of the best, I mean, from my opinion, one of
- 7:49Speaker 2: the best openings of a supermovie of all time.
- 7:51Speaker 3: I mean, oh yeah, has never been cooler, has.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Never been cooler?
- 7:59Speaker 4: Sound track was to.
- 8:02Speaker 2: What do you think that soundtrack this movie had to cause?
- 8:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, for real, because.
- 8:06Speaker 2: What we had we had n SYNC, which, by the way,
- 8:09Speaker 2: for those like wonder literally just if you go on
- 8:11Speaker 2: if you've been on TikTok, it's all that's on Tiko.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Like right now is Deadpool dancing to Bye Bye as
- 8:17Speaker 2: he proceeds to murder and beat the absolute ship out
- 8:20Speaker 2: of the TVA members to the beats of the song.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Using it Wolverine's skeletons.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Skeleton, but it wasn't you had you had, you had
- 8:29Speaker 2: in Sync, you had the song from the Greatest show Man,
- 8:32Speaker 2: you had Madonna, which could not have been that could
- 8:35Speaker 2: have not been cheap, which actually I read and everywhere,
- 8:37Speaker 2: Like Ryan Reynolds like worked really hard to get that
- 8:39Speaker 2: part of the movie because like he's like that was
- 8:41Speaker 2: like one of his big demands was to have that
- 8:43Speaker 2: song be part of the movie. And then also you
- 8:45Speaker 2: had Avril Levine and then what was it easy DC
- 8:48Speaker 2: here Metallica.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Oh my god, I just pulled it up.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Or house Spells.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I can't remeever, I can't re We've seen Bells.
- 8:55Speaker 3: It's a CD. Thank you house Bells.
- 8:58Speaker 5: I's see it on this fan jams, Bye bye bye,
- 9:02Speaker 5: Angel of the Morning.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Oh God, oh my gosh.
- 9:05Speaker 5: Glamorous Byephreggy, The Power of Love by come on.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Like Waylon Jennings. I'm a rambling man.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Seriously, how much money? How much that's.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Lady in Red When every time the dog Pool came out,
- 9:20Speaker 5: that was so fucking good. Oh my god, regardless, Oh
- 9:26Speaker 5: my god, Time of your Life by Green Green Bye,
- 9:29Speaker 5: This was perfect.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Oh we'll get We'll get to the Time of your
- 9:33Speaker 2: life here, Hanna. I will say this, so every especially
- 9:39Speaker 2: big movies, especially whenever they license a song, they typically
- 9:42Speaker 2: over use it in commercials, but it never actually happened
- 9:45Speaker 2: or you never heard in the actual film. This film
- 9:48Speaker 2: is the exact opposite. I think that what that song,
- 9:52Speaker 2: the Madonna song, played like four or five times, but
- 9:55Speaker 2: each time it played it actually had meaning to it.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I get very like, honestly, like part of me felt
- 10:03Speaker 2: like the James Gunn like was involved with this because
- 10:06Speaker 2: like it's it's not known, it's pretty well known, like
- 10:07Speaker 2: he's very involved with any music that's in his movies,
- 10:10Speaker 2: but obviously he wasn't involved with this movie. But uh yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 2: I thought the soundtrack of this movie was top notch,
- 10:16Speaker 2: the action was top notch. And can I just say,
- 10:19Speaker 2: we'll get to the we'll get to the obviously the
- 10:21Speaker 2: best parts of the jokes, and she's like that in
- 10:22Speaker 2: the in the minute here. This proved that you don't
- 10:27Speaker 2: need to have a giant superhero movie that's an two
- 10:31Speaker 2: and a half hour three hours long and have it
- 10:33Speaker 2: be good. This movie didn't sell your intelligence. It got
- 10:35Speaker 2: right into it. Here's what the story is, Here's why
- 10:38Speaker 2: Deadpoole's looking for Wolverine go within like the first like
- 10:43Speaker 2: what ten to fifteen minutes if that? Yeah, Like I
- 10:47Speaker 2: I don't know about y'all. I can't complain about that,
- 10:49Speaker 2: because then that's a problem with some movie too, like
- 10:50Speaker 2: they take forever to like not even the movie. That's
- 10:53Speaker 2: been the problem with Marvel the last couple of years
- 10:55Speaker 2: is whatever show or movie it is, you gotta take
- 10:57Speaker 2: it takes at least a quarter or half the movie
- 10:59Speaker 2: just get to the main plot point of why this
- 11:00Speaker 2: is happening. But this is too all five minutes.
- 11:05Speaker 5: And you know what I really loved about this is that, like, yes,
- 11:07Speaker 5: they incorporated you know, different facets of like the Marvel
- 11:12Speaker 5: shows that have happened and and things, but you don't
- 11:15Speaker 5: have to watch those things to understand what's going on.
- 11:18Speaker 5: It helps a lot and has a lot of context,
- 11:20Speaker 5: but like you don't have to, like you can just
- 11:23Speaker 5: enjoy this.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Movie almost as a standalone thing, right experience.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it definitely helps.
- 11:29Speaker 6: If I mean, like any other Marvel movie, it helps
- 11:31Speaker 6: if you know some of the war, but this movie
- 11:34Speaker 6: truly and if you know a dead fault, that's all you.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Need to know.
- 11:40Speaker 3: You know.
- 11:40Speaker 5: And then in saying that, and I hope I'm not
- 11:42Speaker 5: jumping too far ahead, but like it definitely rewards fans
- 11:46Speaker 5: of our age that grew up with like the original
- 11:49Speaker 5: X Men films.
- 11:50Speaker 2: The Blade Baby, Yes, nineties kid movie Baby.
- 11:57Speaker 3: It made me so happy.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I had I hadn't even watched.
- 12:01Speaker 6: I mean there's a good portion of the old nineties
- 12:04Speaker 6: and early two thousands, like X Men, like Blade.
- 12:08Speaker 3: And uh, Fantastic Four, Fantastic.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Before and uh Dared Electro.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I've seen some, but there's a punch that I
- 12:17Speaker 6: haven't seen.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I don't think a lot of people have seen Electro.
- 12:21Speaker 4: No, but I'm just.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Saying no Electro, Like, like I've seen maybe a few
- 12:26Speaker 6: Blade scenes. I know that Electro exists, and I know
- 12:29Speaker 6: I've seen, you know, the Fantastic Four. But just the
- 12:32Speaker 6: fact that like the cameos were there and and they
- 12:36Speaker 6: were not just used as like a quick bit, they
- 12:38Speaker 6: were like actually used for like a good portion of
- 12:41Speaker 6: the movies.
- 12:42Speaker 4: That was cool.
- 12:43Speaker 6: I really like the shoutout to uh, uh they finally
- 12:48Speaker 6: were not they finally.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Weren't scared to show off. Uh, what's the same Chris.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Chris Evans, Chris.
- 12:58Speaker 6: Evans as as his a flame. I like that they
- 13:03Speaker 6: showed the different iterations of the Fantastic Four. They showed
- 13:06Speaker 6: off the og, they showed off the one with Miles Teller. Uh,
- 13:12Speaker 6: they showed off they introduced Extra Nity three as an
- 13:15Speaker 6: actual character, like they they are finally had no fear
- 13:19Speaker 6: of showing the old Fox content, and I think that's great.
- 13:22Speaker 4: I think they can pull a lot from there.
- 13:25Speaker 2: So you know, well, the thing that people don't realize
- 13:28Speaker 2: about this, it wasn't all the movies, but the original
- 13:31Speaker 2: X Men movie. I mean, like, hey, you know what,
- 13:33Speaker 2: see what you want, like, uh, the original Batman, the
- 13:36Speaker 2: Tim Burton Batman movies, and helped the Blade movies, well,
- 13:40Speaker 2: the first Blay movie. They laid the foundation that the
- 13:42Speaker 2: first X Men movie built the house on. And Kevin
- 13:45Speaker 2: Feige was involved with those movies like people. He was
- 13:48Speaker 2: a production assistant. And like, I mean there's like photo
- 13:50Speaker 2: like which and that was the weird thing to like
- 13:52Speaker 2: you kind of have to have like like like they
- 13:53Speaker 2: showed the credits was legit them showing bloopers and interviews
- 13:57Speaker 2: from the Fox, which I'm not gonna lie. That hit
- 13:59Speaker 2: me because like I've made I'm not the biggest, Like
- 14:02Speaker 2: there's a lot more. There's a lot more.
- 14:04Speaker 6: Bad because that's literally that was literally our childhood.
- 14:10Speaker 2: It's like, holy shit, like we're we're spoiled. We got
- 14:13Speaker 2: to as we were getting older, we were smart enough
- 14:15Speaker 2: to like actually pay attention to like because even for us,
- 14:18Speaker 2: like the only universes we had was Star Wars and
- 14:22Speaker 2: Lord of the Rains. But then it's like, oh wait,
- 14:24Speaker 2: this is this movie. Ironman comes out, It's like, oh,
- 14:26Speaker 2: that's cool. Then they teas at the end, oh what if?
- 14:28Speaker 1: What if?
- 14:29Speaker 2: What if we put together a team? It's like, oh,
- 14:31Speaker 2: that's that's that's funny because like to us, that was
- 14:33Speaker 2: a foreign concert that would never happen never, And now
- 14:36Speaker 2: here we are. I think they literally said this is
- 14:38Speaker 2: their thirty fourth film, and actually in their stand that
- 14:44Speaker 2: same article from I think it was Variety of Holly
- 14:45Speaker 2: reported they said they are officially now the highest grossing
- 14:48Speaker 2: franchise of all time, which I'm like, wait, just now.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I feel like with Star Wars some of the things
- 14:53Speaker 2: are way past that, and and now they are officially
- 14:57Speaker 2: they're nearer the average where every movie they made is
- 15:00Speaker 2: a billion dollar average. I mean, we used to joke
- 15:02Speaker 2: on the on the podcast that Kevin fucking wipe his
- 15:04Speaker 2: ass of a million dollars, but now he literally has
- 15:06Speaker 2: his status to prove it. But yeah, when that credit,
- 15:09Speaker 2: when those credits rolled through and they were showing all
- 15:11Speaker 2: the bloopers, like again, I wasn't expecting it. I'm just like,
- 15:14Speaker 2: oh shit, like this is literally my childhood going through here.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Man.
- 15:20Speaker 2: But no, I mean, and we'll get to We'll get
- 15:23Speaker 2: to the cameos right away too. I mean yeah, Like
- 15:25Speaker 2: that's that's the thing. I think that was the best
- 15:27Speaker 2: part of this movie. Some of these cameos, unless you
- 15:29Speaker 2: stay off the internet, they were kind of spoiled a
- 15:31Speaker 2: while back. The electric one was really was announced right
- 15:34Speaker 2: when the movie started, which I don't know if you guys, Yeah,
- 15:40Speaker 2: that wasn't Yeah that was announced. No, Like like her
- 15:43Speaker 2: cameo was announced like by by like news right when
- 15:47Speaker 2: production started. But like the one that really shocked me
- 15:51Speaker 2: because I because I heard, like you know, there was
- 15:52Speaker 2: a rumor that like maybe was it was betaskable. But
- 15:55Speaker 2: like there's this like internet stigma that Wesley Snipes and
- 15:58Speaker 2: Ryan Reynolds hate each other, which they admitted recently. No,
- 16:01Speaker 2: we just played that just to make you people think
- 16:03Speaker 2: we did just for ships and gigs. Like one boy
- 16:05Speaker 2: came on the screen. Oh I popped, I had. I
- 16:08Speaker 2: did not expect Wesley Snipes in this full all.
- 16:11Speaker 6: I was very pleased with Channing Tatum, just justice for
- 16:19Speaker 6: Channing Tatum.
- 16:20Speaker 8: The accent, absolutely horrendous, Wars fucking I don't know if
- 16:26Speaker 8: he played it up for the bit or if he
- 16:29Speaker 8: was actually trying but the worst.
- 16:32Speaker 4: It was so bad.
- 16:33Speaker 6: But you know what, I'm just finally glad that they
- 16:36Speaker 6: finally let him play the fucking character. He's been trying
- 16:40Speaker 6: to play that character longer than Ryan has tried playing straight.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Facts the comic accurate suit and everything. It's perfect literally, but.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Also he like, honestly he was for me. He was
- 16:55Speaker 2: like one of the funniest parts. More he was talking
- 16:56Speaker 2: about spoiler. I mean, I mean because I shooting up
- 17:00Speaker 2: his dad's dick.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Shout out of my dad's dick ready, and I.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Said, what's up? Even though like like like neighbor doesn't
- 17:12Speaker 2: get it too. Like No matter like how much Patsion
- 17:14Speaker 2: I do like voice impersonation on the show, I don't
- 17:16Speaker 2: think we could do the gambit one justice unless we
- 17:18Speaker 2: actually practice like because it was such a like it
- 17:22Speaker 2: was literally just Channing Tatum playing Gambit but with the apps,
- 17:25Speaker 2: but trying to do a Cajun accent, but do it
- 17:28Speaker 2: bad and he did it good. That's how bad it was.
- 17:32Speaker 5: So yeah, Like and even beyond those characters, we saw
- 17:36Speaker 5: like some some whole lots from the original X Men
- 17:39Speaker 5: of films like Toad, Saber Tooth, Piro, you know.
- 17:42Speaker 2: And darth Ball, Baby ray Park Toad, Like, oh my god,
- 17:48Speaker 2: yeah Toad.
- 17:54Speaker 4: It was insane.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I do I do, I did.
- 17:58Speaker 6: Love the Blade Repper and some I'm the only play.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Camera yeah, which and.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Apparently that's I'm glad you brought up because because I
- 18:11Speaker 2: definitely want to get some of the jokes, because the
- 18:13Speaker 2: jokes are like really like kind of broke because some
- 18:15Speaker 2: of the jokes were again they were literally taking shots
- 18:19Speaker 2: at Marvel and Disney but ke mind, this is a
- 18:21Speaker 2: Marvel film. This isn't a Fox Marvel, this is Disney Marvel,
- 18:24Speaker 2: and they were taking shots at themselves because they understand, like, look,
- 18:27Speaker 2: we've made some mistakes. There's been a lot of bumps
- 18:30Speaker 2: along the way, which will get into what they're gonna
- 18:32Speaker 2: try to do to redeem some of that stuff here
- 18:34Speaker 2: in a little bit, but like the fact that like
- 18:36Speaker 2: you know, like they make that blade joke, and like
- 18:39Speaker 2: they even, like I read to say, like they that
- 18:41Speaker 2: was one of the first things they did because they
- 18:42Speaker 2: tried to get like the cameos out of the way
- 18:44Speaker 2: right away, because you know, like some the cameos won't
- 18:46Speaker 2: take them on the shot. Although I wouldn't even call
- 18:48Speaker 2: those cameos like came out to me is when a
- 18:49Speaker 2: guy walks through that like you know, like Nathan Nathan,
- 18:53Speaker 2: what the.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Fuck is his name? Like the Hall cameo, Yeah, that's
- 18:57Speaker 3: or Cavaline.
- 18:58Speaker 2: That's a cameo where he's in the Reason move for
- 19:01Speaker 2: five seconds. Which, by the way, I'm I'm not like
- 19:05Speaker 2: you said, I'm the biggest I love Hugh Jackman. I've
- 19:08Speaker 2: always said, like I think like we did a we
- 19:10Speaker 2: did a drunk questions years ago, and I always asked, hey,
- 19:13Speaker 2: gun in your head, you can only have one to
- 19:17Speaker 2: Robert Downey, is iron Man or Hugh jack was Wolverine?
- 19:20Speaker 2: Right away? No, Hugh jack was Wolverine, No, without hesitation,
- 19:23Speaker 2: no questions asked. As much as I love iron Man,
- 19:27Speaker 2: but like I've always been the ones where I'm like, like,
- 19:30Speaker 2: I get you, gotta move on. They've recasted Batman a
- 19:33Speaker 2: bunch of times, obviously run our third Spider Man, although
- 19:36Speaker 2: all three are fantastic. I mean the Batman say what
- 19:39Speaker 2: you Wilsomer better than others? You know, sorry, but I've
- 19:45Speaker 2: always sad, like, I don't know how you can recast
- 19:46Speaker 2: Wolverine because like, no matter what, there's that sum right
- 19:49Speaker 2: when you watch it, everyone's gonna hate it. But the
- 19:52Speaker 2: five seconds of Henry Cavill was Wolverine, I'm like, I'm sold.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I want this.
- 19:56Speaker 8: It's probably oh yeah that came out.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I was I was almost screaming.
- 20:04Speaker 6: I was like push, I was like hitting my dad
- 20:07Speaker 6: and was next to me like it's like what, I'm kiddy.
- 20:10Speaker 4: He's like he's DZ.
- 20:12Speaker 2: This is not supposed to happen.
- 20:15Speaker 5: And then like I'm like, yeah, we'll treat you better
- 20:18Speaker 5: than they did down there.
- 20:19Speaker 2: It was like, oh, it's like this feels in, this
- 20:22Speaker 2: feels so right, and we will treat you so much
- 20:25Speaker 2: better than they'll ship fucks down the street like, which
- 20:29Speaker 2: is hilarious because James Gunners literally said, if we we
- 20:33Speaker 2: definitely want to work with Henry in the future. But
- 20:35Speaker 2: Henry's like, why would no, why would I want to
- 20:37Speaker 2: come back? Like, why would I why would I want?
- 20:39Speaker 2: Why would I want to go from being Superman to
- 20:41Speaker 2: fucking you know Bane, not saying Bane's a bad like
- 20:45Speaker 2: roll call, but it's like no, like you don't want
- 20:46Speaker 2: to do that, you want to say the Superman, which
- 20:48Speaker 2: and and I get why they moved out. They had
- 20:50Speaker 2: him fun but yeah, so I'm sold on Henry Cavill's wolvering.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I don't think it's gonna happen. I think we're going
- 20:54Speaker 2: someone a lot younger, but I hope they don't. But
- 21:00Speaker 2: within five seconds I was and then yeah, can we
- 21:02Speaker 2: talk about that the hault teas. I actually had one
- 21:05Speaker 2: of the showings. I had someone boom, these are a
- 21:07Speaker 2: pists like no go back, and they said no go back,
- 21:10Speaker 2: which like, yeah, that's what they wanted to do, because
- 21:12Speaker 2: I don't think it's ever gonna happen because no offense.
- 21:14Speaker 2: That's one of the critiques I have with Disney and
- 21:16Speaker 2: Marvel is how they use Hulk. And I give there's
- 21:18Speaker 2: some legal reasons for that, but then again, the way
- 21:21Speaker 2: they use him in She Hulk, It's like, you guys,
- 21:23Speaker 2: clearly have you guys show you can do shit with him?
- 21:26Speaker 2: So what are we holding up for?
- 21:29Speaker 6: Don't even give me sorry with the she Hulk Hulk
- 21:33Speaker 6: use you know what feelings?
- 21:34Speaker 2: No, no, I know that fucking series. I know I
- 21:38Speaker 2: know your feelings. But it's like why But like it
- 21:41Speaker 2: was a great tease, like right away, like even if
- 21:43Speaker 2: you I don't I don't wade comics, like right when
- 21:47Speaker 2: he was like because you know he comes out in
- 21:48Speaker 2: the woods and like I didn't know like that was
- 21:50Speaker 2: the costume that Wolverine wore in the comics to fight.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Halk but like right technically, but but like when.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I saw like the surrounding era, just like the whole
- 21:58Speaker 2: forces fucked up, I'm like, oh, there's hulks gonna be
- 22:01Speaker 2: in this, isn't he? And then like when and then
- 22:03Speaker 2: like and then they show was like I literally like,
- 22:05Speaker 2: oh my god, they're gonna fucking show it. And then
- 22:06Speaker 2: I was just like no, I was like, ah, like
- 22:08Speaker 2: that was the one I get why they did it.
- 22:10Speaker 2: It was a tease. I'm like, come on, like literally
- 22:13Speaker 2: just just just we just need a ten second clip
- 22:16Speaker 2: on Marvel's YouTube. Just just just make it c gi
- 22:19Speaker 2: AI whatever the fuck Hermes and I talked about AI
- 22:22Speaker 2: a little bit last week. That's one of those exceptions.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Were like, Hey, it's for it's for the better of humanity.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Humanity needs a ship, if anything, for the upcoming election
- 22:30Speaker 2: we have here, regardless of your opinion, that's what we need.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Marvel.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Put up the Hulk in Wolverine fights on YouTube or
- 22:36Speaker 2: on or no, fuck it, put it on Disney Plus.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Make it one of your Disney Plus specials, like the
- 22:41Speaker 2: like the Werewolf by Night shit and the whole world
- 22:44Speaker 2: will be at peace.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I mean, that could be a whole movie in and
- 22:48Speaker 3: of itself.
- 22:48Speaker 5: But I did like all the different alternate like the
- 22:52Speaker 5: variants of Wolverine.
- 22:53Speaker 3: We saw some serious nods to the comics.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Kind of had to go and explain to my friends
- 22:58Speaker 5: some of them like, oh, that's age of Apocaps, that's
- 23:00Speaker 5: Patch when he was sure you go, that's the comic
- 23:03Speaker 5: accurate height of Wolverine, which that killed me.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I was killed me that I was dying because oh yeah,
- 23:10Speaker 2: the comic. Because when Wolf, when hugea was announced as
- 23:12Speaker 2: Wolverine twenty five. Obviously we didn't know this because we
- 23:15Speaker 2: were young little lads. We didn't read the paper. When
- 23:17Speaker 2: hugea was announced Wolverine, a lot of comic nerds at
- 23:20Speaker 2: the time, adults piss off because that's not comic accurate
- 23:24Speaker 2: because Wolverine's like what five foot three of most without
- 23:27Speaker 2: lifts in his boots in the comics, and then yet
- 23:31Speaker 2: they finally showed him in this movie as little tiny
- 23:34Speaker 2: wolf Win and it like, literally it literally took whatever
- 23:38Speaker 2: those people thought back then as a negative as they
- 23:40Speaker 2: shut the fuck up, because like it just it would
- 23:44Speaker 2: have been like again, like Wolverine is literally the like
- 23:46Speaker 2: literally is they said he is the X Man.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Like I feel like even in the comics, I feel
- 23:53Speaker 5: like even in modern comics they've like kind of done
- 23:55Speaker 5: away with that he's not as short as right.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Fucking god damn Mini me.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Him, Mini Pool.
- 24:05Speaker 6: But I do love that that Wolverine montage, especially h with.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Uh with cavill I do also like the the Deadpool
- 24:20Speaker 4: core that.
- 24:21Speaker 6: Yeah, I do love the the clean, shiny Deadpool.
- 24:28Speaker 4: And his.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Fourth wall break was very, very very class that you mean,
- 24:38Speaker 2: the nice Pool fourth of the proposal and that's it,
- 24:44Speaker 2: you know what.
- 24:44Speaker 4: I think one other persons in theater got it, and then.
- 24:47Speaker 7: I was dying.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I was like it was so funny. I just love
- 24:53Speaker 2: the fact that, but I just love the fact that
- 24:55Speaker 2: nice Pool was only in this movie just to like
- 25:00Speaker 2: highlight dog Pool or I'm sorry Mary Poppins, excuse me.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Well then also as a meat shield, it's like what
- 25:11Speaker 5: find how fast does it take you to regenerate?
- 25:13Speaker 2: Regenerating? Yeah, steel my legs. There's like, there's like, what
- 25:17Speaker 2: a hundred Deadpools and he's the only one they can't regenerate.
- 25:21Speaker 3: It just kind of makes sense though, because he's now
- 25:23Speaker 3: fucked up.
- 25:24Speaker 2: That's true. No, I mean like like.
- 25:29Speaker 5: Like and then also like kid Pool was their actual kid,
- 25:34Speaker 5: which I don't know, is it.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, kid Pool was their actual kid. Apparently,
- 25:39Speaker 2: like like one of them. I was reading this, Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 2: there's two of the jad Pools were their kids. Actually
- 25:43Speaker 2: apparently one of the other jad Pools too. Actually it
- 25:45Speaker 2: was good planned a second. Yeah, so one of so
- 25:48Speaker 2: two of the kids were kids. One of the baby
- 25:50Speaker 2: was apparently like their infants, which I mean that was cgi.
- 25:54Speaker 2: You can clear someone, They just probably splice in the like
- 25:56Speaker 2: the kids like laughter. One of them was their other kid,
- 25:59Speaker 2: cow Boy Deadpool was Matthew McConaughey. By the way, Oh,
- 26:03Speaker 2: spoilers Lady, ladypool, and this is the biggest This is
- 26:10Speaker 2: the biggest debate online. Before it was like who's gonna
- 26:12Speaker 2: play lady because he showed her the trailer, or like
- 26:14Speaker 2: is it Taylor Swift? Is it Blake? It was always
- 26:17Speaker 2: gonna be Blake Live Lately. Come on, how could you
- 26:20Speaker 2: not have it be his wife? And apparently one of
- 26:25Speaker 2: the other Deadpools was uh uh ur Headpool was Nathan Fillion.
- 26:31Speaker 2: And then and then one of the Deadpools, one like
- 26:34Speaker 2: the random ones, apparently for some reason was Tom Holland's brother.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I guess, so, like, good.
- 26:39Speaker 4: For him, but wait, what was that?
- 26:43Speaker 2: One of the one of the Deadpool variants was Tom
- 26:45Speaker 2: Holland's brother.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Oh, I was going like, is that fucking Tom Hollands
- 26:50Speaker 6: voice because it sounds so.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Much like that you can hear for a split second,
- 26:53Speaker 2: but you know though, yeah, but because he makes a
- 26:55Speaker 2: quick comment. But then, of course, the most important Deadpool
- 26:58Speaker 2: of all was Peter with a Beautipool. Peter Peter Pool.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Every Deadpool, as Ladypool has SAIDs every every Deadpool has
- 27:07Speaker 2: their Peter, and I just love the fact that like
- 27:09Speaker 2: he shows up and I know we're kind of like
- 27:10Speaker 2: moving in between here. I just love the fact that
- 27:12Speaker 2: like he shows up like on a bike to save
- 27:14Speaker 2: Deadpool what we're called the Deadpools, and like the suit
- 27:16Speaker 2: doesn't even fit him, and his junk is just fucking
- 27:19Speaker 2: hanging out.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Here's the thing too.
- 27:24Speaker 2: And the one critsy the uh I'm gonna say, like not,
- 27:28Speaker 2: I want to say, like criticism I have with this film,
- 27:31Speaker 2: and I get why. Like I said, I'm happy the
- 27:33Speaker 2: movie is only two hours long. We'll get to the
- 27:35Speaker 2: jokes here in because I think that's really highlights, just
- 27:38Speaker 2: like how how good of a producer Kevin Feigy is
- 27:42Speaker 2: where he can even admit his faults. The one criticism
- 27:45Speaker 2: I had was I wish they would have used more
- 27:48Speaker 2: of the original cast better. I get why they did
- 27:51Speaker 2: it because like like, don't don't like we didn't have
- 27:54Speaker 2: a funny taxi scene with Dopepender, No, you know what
- 27:58Speaker 2: I mean. We had we had a one quick second
- 28:03Speaker 2: joke with Negasana teenage warhead about his two pay obviously
- 28:07Speaker 2: blind out. We had all the cocaine jokes, but that
- 28:09Speaker 2: was already the trailers.
- 28:10Speaker 5: That kind of man, I mean then also, it's like
- 28:13Speaker 5: she's leaning out the window in the final fight scene, like,
- 28:16Speaker 5: how how do you know what's happening?
- 28:17Speaker 3: I can't even tell?
- 28:19Speaker 2: She's like, I wish I couldn't hear this ship.
- 28:22Speaker 4: They really use Marina very sparingly.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I'm surprised by that because she's very I mean, but
- 28:29Speaker 2: because honestly, at the end of the day, like that
- 28:31Speaker 2: is Deadpool's driving force to survive and also to keep
- 28:34Speaker 2: his families. The woman he loves because yeah, like the.
- 28:39Speaker 6: Entire fan of loves her. So I really don't know
- 28:41Speaker 6: why they put they don't. I guess they they need
- 28:44Speaker 6: to make more room for like the action the plot,
- 28:46Speaker 6: but still right.
- 28:47Speaker 5: And then and they did, but like they they definitely
- 28:50Speaker 5: could have, especially when they go back to like the
- 28:52Speaker 5: main Deadpool's home universe. They could have had could they
- 28:58Speaker 5: get Kko which we got?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Keiko keiko ko? Oh k your Yukoko? Are you howk.
- 29:13Speaker 5: But no, I mean, like they definitely could have done
- 29:15Speaker 5: an interaction between the X Men, and at least at
- 29:18Speaker 5: that very end scene like at the party, they could
- 29:20Speaker 5: have done an interaction between Wilna and the X Men
- 29:22Speaker 5: of that universe.
- 29:23Speaker 3: I mean shit, like we I mean.
- 29:26Speaker 5: That it was right there, but I mean like, look,
- 29:28Speaker 5: that's not what the movie was about. And I think
- 29:30Speaker 5: if we did have that, it would have taken away
- 29:32Speaker 5: from everything else we did get. Like I wonder how
- 29:35Speaker 5: much they did have to cut, like what they left
- 29:37Speaker 5: on the cutting room floor, you know what I mean?
- 29:41Speaker 2: Or like I can't wait for the Sewan Leavy five
- 29:43Speaker 2: hour directors cut.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Well, I can't figure out. I can't wait to figure
- 29:46Speaker 3: out why Thor was crying, like what happened?
- 29:50Speaker 2: Well, that's a good seg way to get to the
- 29:51Speaker 2: jokes here. Yeah, the Thor was crying, so for contexts
- 29:59Speaker 2: death Pools of the TVA, and they show him, they
- 30:01Speaker 2: essentially offer him to go to the MCU because his
- 30:04Speaker 2: universe is dying because their anchor, which will get to
- 30:06Speaker 2: the anchors in here in a second, their anchor aka
- 30:08Speaker 2: Wolverine is gone. And they show for holding a essentially
- 30:14Speaker 2: damaged Deadpool and he's bawling his eyes out, which Chris Henthorth,
- 30:18Speaker 2: by the way, kfab still saying, I don't know what
- 30:21Speaker 2: the I don't know what guys are talking about. I
- 30:22Speaker 2: have not filmed any of that shit, which I'm sure,
- 30:24Speaker 2: I'm sure this is AI. I'm sure you can just
- 30:26Speaker 2: they just found Chris Emsward's face from a different production,
- 30:28Speaker 2: just put crying tears on whatever. I again, I.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Just just like replaced Loki's body with dead pooling.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Right right, yeah, right, that totally makes sense. I just
- 30:40Speaker 2: I The only thing I hope is like this is
- 30:42Speaker 2: for me, this movie, and we're gonna we'll do like
- 30:45Speaker 2: an Avendors scene at a different time or like a
- 30:47Speaker 2: Vengers like breakdown for what happened last weekend. All this
- 30:50Speaker 2: movie proved to me. It was like les like like
- 30:52Speaker 2: Disney does have the balls to make fun of themselves,
- 30:54Speaker 2: indurted r but also like this just made me go,
- 30:58Speaker 2: we like and again, the Vengers movies are coming sooner
- 31:00Speaker 2: then we hoped, which is a good thing. You know,
- 31:02Speaker 2: they've been delayed like five thousand times because the very I.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Mean, I blame him.
- 31:08Speaker 2: But at the same time, though, it's like this also
- 31:11Speaker 2: maybe go okay, I need I need Deadpool in these movies.
- 31:14Speaker 2: But I hope they don't like how I put it.
- 31:17Speaker 2: I hope they don't over use Deadpool, like how they
- 31:19Speaker 2: use Nick Fear and not like nick Fury is overused,
- 31:21Speaker 2: but like it seemed like every single movie, like what
- 31:24Speaker 2: in the first uh part of the saga, it's like,
- 31:27Speaker 2: all right, well Nick Fiery in three two. Oh wait, no,
- 31:30Speaker 2: all I was off by five seconds. But but like
- 31:33Speaker 2: for Deadpool, it's gonna work. But it's gonna be interesting
- 31:35Speaker 2: to see, like how they bring it because technically he's
- 31:37Speaker 2: not in the MCU. They he never stepped foot in
- 31:39Speaker 2: the mc although the TVA is the MCU. But we'll
- 31:43Speaker 2: see how that happens. But they go on with the
- 31:45Speaker 2: thor comment. I just gotta say, really quick, one of
- 31:49Speaker 2: my favorite jokes was and I love the fact that, like,
- 31:53Speaker 2: obviously we finally got Wolverine in the costume and the
- 31:55Speaker 2: cow and the cow reveal perfect. I was like, are
- 31:59Speaker 2: the actual gonna show this ship? And of course they
- 32:01Speaker 2: wait to the last minute. They fucking tease us the
- 32:03Speaker 2: entire movie. He finally put on the call. Of course
- 32:05Speaker 2: right away Deadpole makes a blowjob joke followed by a
- 32:08Speaker 2: batman turning his neck joke was perfect. But I just
- 32:11Speaker 2: love the fact that, like Wolverine, we finally see him
- 32:13Speaker 2: in the yellow costume and how is he He's blitched drunk? Yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 2: And then of course he says my favorite joke of
- 32:20Speaker 2: the movie, where he finally looks at wolver Logan, Hugh Jackman, Wolverine,
- 32:23Speaker 2: and he goes, welcome to the Welcome to the MCU.
- 32:26Speaker 2: You're entering it a low point. Yeah, that was great.
- 32:30Speaker 5: Speaking of scenes in the TVA office, I loved when
- 32:33Speaker 5: he first got there and he turns and bucks towards
- 32:36Speaker 5: the camera, grabs it and turns and what.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Does he say?
- 32:39Speaker 5: He's Fox, I'm going to Disneyland and the head butts
- 32:44Speaker 5: the camera.
- 32:45Speaker 2: That killed me.
- 32:47Speaker 3: But here that is definitely a good tone set.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Because that's what everyone has wanted since Disney got the Marvelies,
- 32:53Speaker 2: because Fox still had you know, the X Men and
- 32:55Speaker 2: Fantastic for shit. It's just like, because that's a that
- 32:59Speaker 2: was a That was the problem the Fox movies. They
- 33:01Speaker 2: were so there was so much bad, but the good
- 33:05Speaker 2: stood out so much. And it wasn't the stories, it
- 33:07Speaker 2: was how good like the people they hired to play
- 33:10Speaker 2: these characters were like we literally got prequels of the
- 33:14Speaker 2: characters when they were younger and older. They did obviously
- 33:17Speaker 2: Days of Future Pass, which is a one of the
- 33:19Speaker 2: best movies simplar movies ever my opinion, but also it
- 33:22Speaker 2: was one of their highlights. And it's just like there
- 33:24Speaker 2: was so much inconsistency that, like when DC was doing
- 33:28Speaker 2: their Zack Snyder thing, It's like, you guys literally did
- 33:31Speaker 2: everything that Fox did. What the fuck is wrong with you?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Sorry I'm blabbering on here.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it was just it was so good and
- 33:40Speaker 2: the jokes were just spot on. Where there it was
- 33:42Speaker 2: literally just Marvel making fun of themselves, like Deadpool before
- 33:45Speaker 2: they all fight the deadpools literally says the Multiverse it's
- 33:49Speaker 2: not working, which which he's right, it's not worked. But
- 33:56Speaker 2: I mean, obviously with Kine gone for obvious reasons, it worked.
- 34:00Speaker 4: It's just they just fucking ship.
- 34:03Speaker 2: The bag when it came.
- 34:04Speaker 4: To the Multiverse.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I don't want to say they ship the bag. I
- 34:08Speaker 2: know honestly what it is. And again people say, well,
- 34:10Speaker 2: you can't blame because no, I think it was. Honestly
- 34:12Speaker 2: it was the change of the Guard did with Bob Shapepeck,
- 34:15Speaker 2: because Shapepeck did the whole not I don't want quality,
- 34:18Speaker 2: I want quantity.
- 34:20Speaker 4: No, the thing. I don't think it went too long.
- 34:22Speaker 6: I think it's when they they they went full force
- 34:25Speaker 6: in the first like year following h Endgame of like, oh,
- 34:31Speaker 6: there's the Multiverse and then all the content sucked, so
- 34:34Speaker 6: they're like, let's take a step back and collect ourselves.
- 34:37Speaker 6: And so they were super slow to put out content,
- 34:40Speaker 6: and all the content they were putting out sucked.
- 34:42Speaker 4: So everyone's like, all right, it's been what five years
- 34:45Speaker 4: since Endgame, and you have just put out shit content
- 34:48Speaker 4: And that's what.
- 34:48Speaker 6: We know of the multiverse, when like the Multiverse is
- 34:51Speaker 6: supposed to be like the Spider Verse. The Spider Verse
- 34:53Speaker 6: does the multiverse so well, a great representation of what
- 34:58Speaker 6: the multiverse could be. But it's said, we get sorry here,
- 35:04Speaker 6: but would you have it? But instead we get I
- 35:08Speaker 6: hate to say this, we get the multiplayers of Madness,
- 35:10Speaker 6: which I loved after Strange, It's not a terrible movie,
- 35:14Speaker 6: but but such an a letdown we get. We keep
- 35:18Speaker 6: getting letdowns, and it's just like, there's a reason why
- 35:22Speaker 6: people are tired of it because it's just not good.
- 35:24Speaker 6: But if if it was good, people would be super
- 35:27Speaker 6: people would be as invested into the multiverse as the
- 35:30Speaker 6: first as the Endgame trilogy if it was good. But
- 35:34Speaker 6: because of all the rewrites, because of all the story changes,
- 35:37Speaker 6: because of all the content has come out, I'm so sorry,
- 35:46Speaker 6: because of all the week because of all the week
- 35:48Speaker 6: content effect comes out.
- 35:49Speaker 4: It is one of the lowest points. It is the
- 35:52Speaker 4: lowest point in the MCU saga.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Really quick, I know you got to bounce out here
- 35:58Speaker 2: in a minute. Yes, I just gotta ask you two questions.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's really quickly fun out then Patrick will get you
- 36:01Speaker 2: on the slurp review in part two. Here I'll splice
- 36:05Speaker 2: up really nicely here.
- 36:07Speaker 5: Uh.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Two questions. One, you mentioned the Spider Verse and stuff
- 36:11Speaker 2: like that, and the multiverse. Let me ask you this
- 36:12Speaker 2: a question I've actually I got asked by another friend
- 36:15Speaker 2: of mine. Take out. What's I mean? We leave that
- 36:19Speaker 2: pull Mauveren in there. Take everything into consideration that's happened
- 36:24Speaker 2: with after endgame. If the multiverse saga was a little
- 36:30Speaker 2: bit better, Is No Way Home as good of a
- 36:34Speaker 2: movie as we think it is?
- 36:38Speaker 6: I think No Way Home is a strong movie.
- 36:42Speaker 4: I don't have a lot I didn't was that part
- 36:46Speaker 4: of the sliper view.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I can't remember part of the slip review.
- 36:49Speaker 4: I can't remember my comments at this time, but I.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Can tell you, like Nicholas Cage, it was high price.
- 36:57Speaker 6: I think it was a strong demonstration of what of
- 37:01Speaker 6: Like the beginning of the multiverse like it was like
- 37:04Speaker 6: it was a great leadoff of like, all right, this
- 37:06Speaker 6: is a multiverse. All right, we're engaging in it. This
- 37:08Speaker 6: is what it is. It's like, okay, let's keep it going.
- 37:11Speaker 6: And then we just get let down after let down
- 37:15Speaker 6: after let down after let down, and it's just like, so,
- 37:20Speaker 6: this is it.
- 37:21Speaker 4: This is what the multiverse is supposed to be.
- 37:23Speaker 2: This is this is it?
- 37:24Speaker 6: Okay, and it's like okay coming oh and he's gone
- 37:29Speaker 6: okay and it's.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Gone, dude, don't check the news.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Oh god.
- 37:34Speaker 2: So and then what would your what would your review?
- 37:38Speaker 6: So my point is regardless, I think No Way Home
- 37:43Speaker 6: is a solid movie. I think it would still be
- 37:45Speaker 6: considered good even if the other content was good.
- 37:48Speaker 4: I think it's still a good.
- 37:50Speaker 6: Strong start to would have could have possibly been in
- 37:52Speaker 6: an excellent multiverse saga, but unfortunately, as we see currently,
- 37:57Speaker 6: it's it's a struggling it's a struggling bust. Trying to say,
- 38:00Speaker 6: plout my final score on the for Deadpool versus Wolverine,
- 38:07Speaker 6: let me see I rate it.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Hm hmmm.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Mmmm, suspense he's trying to think of a joke because
- 38:18Speaker 2: I did the same ship.
- 38:22Speaker 4: I rate it honestly, I rate it eight and a half.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Wolverine aps.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Damn. Yeah, that's a lot of apps. If I want that.
- 38:33Speaker 6: I want, If I want to be nice, i'd say nine.
- 38:35Speaker 6: But I think it felt.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Over to what sharma, That's why it's only eight and
- 38:40Speaker 2: a half.
- 38:40Speaker 4: Abs Oh, I forgot to mention the spring Us.
- 38:44Speaker 6: I guess I can give it a nine, but I
- 38:47Speaker 6: it felt non serious, which I I mean, I've ever
- 38:51Speaker 6: seen every deadpole is like that. Did I think it
- 38:55Speaker 6: revived the m c U. I think it's an you
- 39:00Speaker 6: banger if it revived the MCU. I mean, like I said,
- 39:05Speaker 6: just because one movie's good, does it make you know,
- 39:07Speaker 6: automatic automatically make the rest.
- 39:10Speaker 4: Of shit movies the gold?
- 39:12Speaker 1: Right?
- 39:12Speaker 2: Right?
- 39:12Speaker 6: So I think this is a great stepping stone, just
- 39:16Speaker 6: like uh, just like what's it called Guards of the
- 39:20Speaker 6: Galaxy three? Another great movie? Like you just have to
- 39:25Speaker 6: keep up the good movies and stop putting out ship movies,
- 39:30Speaker 6: and then maybe people would be reinvested into your series.
- 39:33Speaker 6: You don't necessarily have to bring back your biggest actor
- 39:37Speaker 6: of the entire franchise. It. I'm glad that we're getting
- 39:43Speaker 6: him back, but I still have conflicted feelings about it.
- 39:46Speaker 2: So he's gonna till he's ninety.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Yeah, so I had it.
- 39:52Speaker 2: That's the that's their job, that's their model for everyone. Now,
- 39:54Speaker 2: Oh shoot, we're in a down spiral. Break class, Hugeman.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Oh shit, break class, Robert Doni, Oh shit, break less Tom.
- 40:03Speaker 6: I was so surprised. I was very surprised that there
- 40:08Speaker 6: was not a Tom Cruise cameo.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I was completely waiting for it, and I'm like, why would, I.
- 40:16Speaker 6: Thought, because they were bringing out Lecture, they were bringing
- 40:18Speaker 6: out Channing Tatum. So I'm like, are they gonna bring
- 40:20Speaker 6: out Tom Cruise as iron Man? I thought xty three
- 40:23Speaker 6: with Tom Cruise as iron.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Man really good. That will never have as much as
- 40:28Speaker 2: Tom Cruise as a camera for iron Man has been
- 40:31Speaker 2: like to tease so many times. Yeah, and maybe for
- 40:35Speaker 2: Secret Wars, but like the problem is with his beliefs
- 40:38Speaker 2: and like his like his like outside stuff. As much
- 40:40Speaker 2: as everyone loves Tom Cruise, now, like it would take
- 40:43Speaker 2: a lot, and I mean a lot for him to
- 40:46Speaker 2: just do it one. I want it as much as everybody.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I want to.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Course, he's gonna want to do all of his own
- 40:52Speaker 5: stunts and it's gonna be like to him the suit
- 40:54Speaker 5: doesn't actually fly, I can't.
- 40:57Speaker 2: So you don't actually have a feed in your chest?
- 41:00Speaker 2: Why not?
- 41:00Speaker 3: Well, really quick.
- 41:01Speaker 5: I also thought we were gonna get like sorry, I
- 41:03Speaker 5: know you gotta go, Rene, But I.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Thought, yeah, he mentioned they're driving angry.
- 41:07Speaker 5: I thought we were gonna get like a ghost writer
- 41:09Speaker 5: Nicholas Cage like I thought for sure.
- 41:11Speaker 2: I thought, for sure we're gonna that's one. I thought
- 41:13Speaker 2: we're gonna post writer too. But really quick. Yeah.
- 41:17Speaker 6: So so I liked it regardless of everything else I said.
- 41:20Speaker 6: I had a good time. I think that it's a
- 41:24Speaker 6: good standalone movie in terms of connectivity to the multiverse.
- 41:28Speaker 6: Obviously there's connection to the multiverse with all the cameos
- 41:31Speaker 6: and all the you know, previous actress who played different
- 41:34Speaker 6: characters and so what we're.
- 41:35Speaker 4: Saying it's connected to the multiverse.
- 41:37Speaker 6: But I don't know. I I I think there's stuff
- 41:42Speaker 6: that was left out. I think they were a little
- 41:45Speaker 6: gratuitous in some scenes in terms of like, uh, the
- 41:49Speaker 6: joke sometimes would run on for a little bit too much,
- 41:51Speaker 6: and sometimes like I would appreciate a little bit more.
- 41:56Speaker 6: It felt very side mission e to me. And again,
- 42:02Speaker 6: we know Deadpool movies are supposed to be serious, but
- 42:04Speaker 6: I was hoping that there'd be a little bit more. Obviously, yes,
- 42:08Speaker 6: she could have destroyed the multiverse, but it felt very
- 42:10Speaker 6: like once you three me fix it, Like, oh, I
- 42:12Speaker 6: thought I thought they were gonna get rid of Wolverine,
- 42:15Speaker 6: and I'm like that I think would have solidified a
- 42:18Speaker 6: ten out of ten movie to me if they finally.
- 42:20Speaker 4: Put Wolverine to rest.
- 42:22Speaker 6: But the fact that they obviously didn't, which they did it,
- 42:25Speaker 6: and I feel that it took away from like the
- 42:28Speaker 6: steaks the steaks, and like because I was very I
- 42:31Speaker 6: was getting very emotional with like Wolverine him going through
- 42:33Speaker 6: the flashbacks. I'm like, wow, they're really gonna put the
- 42:36Speaker 6: character sleep. This would be a great ending, even for Deadpool,
- 42:39Speaker 6: Like I.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Don't want him to go away, but this would be
- 42:40Speaker 2: a great ending.
- 42:41Speaker 6: And then they're like we're back again, and I'm like,
- 42:43Speaker 6: I'm happy, but also like that just kind of kills
- 42:46Speaker 6: all the emotions I went through.
- 42:48Speaker 4: So eight out of five apps and that's what I'll
- 42:52Speaker 4: leave it.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Up, all right. So this is the end of part
- 42:54Speaker 2: one for the souberview of dead Pol Wolverine, Thinking of Colokie.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Click for joining us obviously my elf and OJ Patron
- 43:01Speaker 2: will be on for one seventy one here where we'll

- 43:05Speaker 2: up on Renee or colockety Clack's comment. I agree with
- 43:09Speaker 2: you on the whole Wolverine thing. I thought this was
- 43:11Speaker 2: gonna be end. Here's the only issue I'm gonna have
- 43:13Speaker 2: of it now is if he doesn't come back, because well,
- 43:16Speaker 2: he's alive now in their universe, So like, what are
- 43:19Speaker 2: we gonna do with that? Because the royal counts are
- 43:21Speaker 2: saying like okay, for example, Depool doesn't make they're gonna
- 43:24Speaker 2: make him diz heasy make a new n till he's
- 43:26Speaker 2: ninety if he's not doing more than one film. So
- 43:30Speaker 2: it's gonna be interesting, but we'll see what happens. As always,
- 43:33Speaker 2: as colokidi klac that is OJ Patron. You know he's
