- 2:54Speaker 3: Uh.
- 2:55Speaker 4: It's stickers uh that say hey there's a fucking baby
- 2:59Speaker 4: in here. Because when I was driving home from the
- 3:05Speaker 4: grocery store, some guy was driving like an asshole and
- 3:07Speaker 4: he flipped me off. So I just rolled down the
- 3:09Speaker 4: window and I yelled at him, Hey there's a fucking
- 3:12Speaker 4: baby in here. And people wanted it on T shirts
- 3:16Speaker 4: and stickers. So that is the thing I wore a
- 3:20Speaker 4: dress today for the first time in a little while.
- 3:23Speaker 4: I honestly couldn't find it. I was looking for my
- 3:25Speaker 4: dress for a while because Jake was out here and
- 3:29Speaker 4: couldn't find it. But I just found it, and I

- 3:47Speaker 2: TikTok bio. So make sure you go show some love
- 3:50Speaker 2: on the TikTok and buy that new merch. That looked
- 3:53Speaker 2: really good on the back of a sticker, anybody that's
- 3:55Speaker 2: on the back. Yeah, that looked good on the back
- 3:57Speaker 2: of a sticker. Yeah, buy two stickers. Put one on
- 3:59Speaker 2: the back of this and then put one on your
- 4:01Speaker 2: vehicle and uh that way, you know, people know that

- 4:20Speaker 2: All right, lots of people in here. Thank you guys
- 4:22Speaker 2: for coming in. And again, if you guys want to

- 4:29Speaker 2: get We're gonna go ahead and get branded in here.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I think he's ready for Beard Law News. You guys
- 4:34Speaker 2: ready for some news.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Heck yeah, let's do it.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Beard Law News in three two.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Good evening, gentlemen. It's nine oh seven Eastern, eight oh
- 4:53Speaker 5: seven Central Line. Brandon mcnermott with Beard Law News. A
- 4:57Speaker 5: truck driver will have to pay a hefty fine after
- 4:59Speaker 5: getting his rigs stuck in Smuggler's Notch in Illinois. Authority
- 5:03Speaker 5: say the driver, Braiden Pitchford, ignored and passed several clearly
- 5:07Speaker 5: posted signs warning against trucks and buses using the road.
- 5:11Speaker 5: After getting stuck, troopers were able to guide him back
- 5:14Speaker 5: towards safety. He was later issued a twelve hundred dollars
- 5:17Speaker 5: ticket and awarded two points to his driver's license. Also,
- 5:20Speaker 5: in case you haven't heard, Smuggler's Notch is also the
- 5:23Speaker 5: name of the new wintertime blockster this year starring Richard
- 5:26Speaker 5: gear and a gerbil.
- 5:31Speaker 3: And.
- 5:31Speaker 5: A smuggler in Indiana was caught with two pounds of
- 5:33Speaker 5: gold worth sixty thousand dollars in his bottom after customs
- 5:37Speaker 5: officers spotted him walking in an unusual way in an airport.
- 5:41Speaker 5: The man was traveling from Dubai to Indie, India, and
- 5:44Speaker 5: had hidden the stash of gold in his own body
- 5:46Speaker 5: to avoid paying eighteen percent in tax. Gold isn't the
- 5:50Speaker 5: heaviest ball movement there is, but it certainly is. The
- 5:52Speaker 5: dnsst a too flusher to say the least, But I
- 5:55Speaker 5: get that at Avoiding a twenty percent import tax is
- 5:57Speaker 5: a pain in the butt, But isn't stuffing too of gold?
- 6:00Speaker 3: One two and keeping up with the.
- 6:03Speaker 5: Scatological news, Brazil's President jaihir Bolsonaro efforts to portray himself
- 6:09Speaker 5: as an anti corruption crusader have suffered yet another blow,
- 6:13Speaker 5: this after police reportedly seized a lot of banknotes from
- 6:16Speaker 5: between a clenched buck cheeks of his ally Chico Rodriguez. No,
- 6:20Speaker 5: that's not a misspell. He happens to be Brazil's President's
- 6:24Speaker 5: deputy leader in the Senate, who was reportedly caught with
- 6:27Speaker 5: the concealed bundle on Wednesday during a police search at
- 6:30Speaker 5: his home. The raid was part of an operation against
- 6:32Speaker 5: suspected misappropriation of public funds. In fact, I can't think
- 6:36Speaker 5: of a more misappropriation of public funds than having some
- 6:40Speaker 5: money five hundred five thousand dollars rather stuck rolled betwixt
- 6:44Speaker 5: the gentleman's meat chops. Riguez later told officials, quote, I
- 6:48Speaker 5: have a clean background in a respectable life. I've never
- 6:50Speaker 5: been involved in any kind of scandal. Well, my friend,
- 6:53Speaker 5: that was before today. Talk about dirty money, it certainly
- 6:56Speaker 5: needs to be laundered now. Among the cascading travesties that
- 7:02Speaker 5: have defined the year twenty twenty, news broke back in
- 7:04Speaker 5: July that Taco Bell would be removing some of more
- 7:07Speaker 5: loved items from those five ingredients from its menu potatoes, cheese, meat,
- 7:14Speaker 5: sour cream, vegetables, tortilla, in an effort to quote streamline
- 7:18Speaker 5: operations while eliminating all of its potato options outright. In all,
- 7:22Speaker 5: people took the news pretty hard. Against this backdrop, there's
- 7:25Speaker 5: one visionary who took the foresight and forethought to secure
- 7:29Speaker 5: and freeze Dry three and out discontinued Potato soft Tacos
- 7:33Speaker 5: even listed them for sale on Facebook's marketplace for the
- 7:36Speaker 5: now lolo price of only two hundred dollars. According to
- 7:40Speaker 5: the listing, the tacos are in quote mint condition and
- 7:42Speaker 5: were bought straight from the drive through to the freezer
- 7:45Speaker 5: and other news. I had Taco bell for lunch, and
- 7:47Speaker 5: while I didn't freeze the tacos, you can certainly have
- 7:49Speaker 5: them here free in about two hours in the form
- 7:51Speaker 5: of liquid hot lovel.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Do apply.
- 7:55Speaker 5: And with almost everyone wearing face covering nowadays, designers like
- 7:59Speaker 5: Gucci have jumped into the mask bandwagon. But one company
- 8:02Speaker 5: you might not have expected to join in on the
- 8:05Speaker 5: craze is Hormel. Ormel, who described themselves as the leader
- 8:09Speaker 5: in breakfast meats in America. They've now joined in and
- 8:12Speaker 5: added the bacon and other cured meat's mask. What's called
- 8:16Speaker 5: the Breathable Bacon Mask. According to Hormel, it's a revolutionary
- 8:19Speaker 5: face mask featuring the latest in pork scented technology. It
- 8:23Speaker 5: features a two ply multi fiber filter to keep the
- 8:26Speaker 5: delicious smell of bacon always wrapped around your nose and
- 8:29Speaker 5: your mouth. Officials worn against wearing the masks in the woods,
- 8:32Speaker 5: though as bears love bacon flavored faces.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Dreman well done as always. Brandon, we were talking backstage.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And he was like, this is gonna be a good one.
- 8:47Speaker 2: This is beauw And if anybody wants to see the
- 8:49Speaker 2: news and just kind of watch it over and over
- 8:51Speaker 2: and over again, there will be its own segment on
- 8:53Speaker 2: the Beard Laws YouTube channel that you guys can watch it.
- 8:56Speaker 2: The first couple ones are out there, this one will
- 8:58Speaker 2: be out there as well, and it might even be
- 9:00Speaker 2: satured on an episode of Talking Poop on the Talking
- 9:02Speaker 2: Beards Network some Friday, coming to a place near you.
- 9:06Speaker 6: They showed some friends over the weekend some of these beards.
- 9:10Speaker 3: They thought it was quite hilarious.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Right, yeah, yeah, it's amazing work. So Brandon, tell us
- 9:16Speaker 2: what you have going on this week where they can
- 9:18Speaker 2: find you, and yeah, tell us there's a there's a
- 9:20Speaker 2: little bit of exciting news about the book.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Right there is Abandon branded which logan is holding up there.
- 9:25Speaker 5: You can get that on Amazon dot com. We've now
- 9:27Speaker 5: got the lo low price of seven ninety nine. That's

- 9:37Speaker 5: version Amazon dot com. Abandon Brandon is the title, and.

- 9:44Speaker 2: that out, add it to the cart whatever you need
- 9:46Speaker 2: to do, there's the link and support an amazing dude
- 9:49Speaker 2: and an amazing story. I haven't had a chance to
- 9:52Speaker 2: read it because I'm not really good at doing the

- 9:55Speaker 2: at some point there's gonna be an audiobook, which I
- 9:56Speaker 2: will buy that and listen to that as well.

- 10:39Speaker 2: told you.
- 10:41Speaker 4: I was like, I was like, logan has definitely sounded better.
- 10:43Speaker 4: I like this angle because I don't get to I
- 10:46Speaker 4: don't have to see your whole face now the side
- 10:48Speaker 4: of it fair. Which is funny that you switched angles

- 15:52Speaker 1: stash is looking good.
- 15:54Speaker 4: The beard has not gotten any sleep, but it's it's
- 15:56Speaker 4: because I'm wearing red.
- 15:58Speaker 3: It makes the beard look okay, super super good.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Absolutely so, congratulations. You broke the three thousand follower mark
- 16:05Speaker 2: on TikTok. Pretty exciting, and that's just, you know, just
- 16:08Speaker 2: a little bit of a sliver of everything that you
- 16:10Speaker 2: have going on. One question that I start every guest
- 16:12Speaker 2: out with and everybody's that seen the show. Eventually I'm
- 16:15Speaker 2: gonna collab all this stuff and we find some time
- 16:17Speaker 2: is I.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Just wanted how many followers he say he had?
- 16:20Speaker 3: He said three thousand. I think three hundred, though, say, oh, I.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Was gonna say he broke three thousand, like before I
- 16:27Speaker 4: knew him.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, let's rewind numbers eight metts.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Then, first off, I wanted to congratulate you on breaking
- 16:33Speaker 2: the three hundred and thirty thousand mark.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Thanks you over that.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Now, pretty wild achievement, and it's way beyond three thousand.
- 16:42Speaker 2: It's three hundred and twenty seven thousand more than I
- 16:44Speaker 2: initially said, so thankfully, Well we'll edit that one out.
- 16:47Speaker 2: But all right, one question that I that I like
- 16:50Speaker 2: to ask every guest kind of start out, is what
- 16:52Speaker 2: got you into TikTok uh.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I mean, my wife downloaded it, and for a whole
- 16:59Speaker 3: year I was like, that's so silly, Like why do
- 17:01Speaker 3: you spend so much time on that ridiculous app. I
- 17:05Speaker 3: was like, I'm not gonna look at it. I used
- 17:07Speaker 3: I funny at the time just to look at memes.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I've since deleted it because TikTok already takes up too
- 17:12Speaker 3: much of my time. But yeah, I was like, I'm
- 17:14Speaker 3: never gonna get on that app. And then when I did,
- 17:16Speaker 3: I was like, I'm never gonna make videos, and I
- 17:20Speaker 3: mean here we are now, so yep, now.
- 17:22Speaker 1: There's no turning back at this point.
- 17:24Speaker 4: And then you did, and now you're like, I'm never
- 17:26Speaker 4: gonna ever not be on this app.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Exactly all day, every day, numerous hours a day.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, So who was one of the first people
- 17:36Speaker 2: that you followed?
- 17:36Speaker 1: Because they say you never you never forget your first.
- 17:41Speaker 3: I mean i'd have to look back. I know Kevin
- 17:43Speaker 3: was one of the first. Kevin was definitely he's right here. No,
- 17:48Speaker 3: you guys, you guys could look back. I know he
- 17:51Speaker 3: was definitely one of the I'm not saying he was
- 17:53Speaker 3: the absolute first. I think he's jus. Only Jayis was
- 17:59Speaker 3: definitely one of the first. And at that time she
- 18:04Speaker 3: was she was like growing, but she wasn't nearly as
- 18:07Speaker 3: big as her account is now. And then yeah, the
- 18:12Speaker 3: uh Jake, the tattoo guy that I actually just met
- 18:15Speaker 3: last week, So they were like I followed a lot
- 18:17Speaker 3: of artists right away. And then only Jay has caught
- 18:20Speaker 3: me because she did a lot of like informational stuff.
- 18:23Speaker 3: In one of her episodes, she did a bunch of
- 18:25Speaker 3: stuff about schizophrenia, so I actually happened to catch that,
- 18:28Speaker 3: and so I think she might have been like the
- 18:30Speaker 3: first person I followed nice.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Oh oh, I thought you were gonna sneeze and I
- 18:35Speaker 2: was like, oh, if you had Taco Bell you ate
- 18:36Speaker 2: out last night. I didn't know if it was Taco Bell,
- 18:38Speaker 2: but it was like, oh, man.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Be careful.
- 18:40Speaker 2: So, so, who was one of the first people that
- 18:43Speaker 2: followed you back? And you you fan girled over like
- 18:47Speaker 2: one of your biggest ones, because I remember a couple,
- 18:49Speaker 2: a couple that you did like duets and reactions to.
- 18:52Speaker 2: But I'm just curious if you remember one and you
- 18:54Speaker 2: were just like inside you were like, well can you
- 18:56Speaker 2: do it?
- 18:58Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:59Speaker 1: Like that, that's good.
- 19:03Speaker 3: So I mean, there's there's two that come to mind,
- 19:07Speaker 3: and I think the first one was Colin Ray, which
- 19:10Speaker 3: I know you've had him on this show. I just
- 19:12Speaker 3: went out to visit him last week and he was
- 19:16Speaker 3: when I when he followed me back, he was at
- 19:18Speaker 3: like a hundred thousand I think so, and I was
- 19:22Speaker 3: super pumped about it because at the time I was
- 19:24Speaker 3: starting to do more content about my business and stuff
- 19:27Speaker 3: like that, so it was really cool to get him
- 19:29Speaker 3: to follow me back. And the other one was actually
- 19:32Speaker 3: Kevin Again. I know I'm not just saying this because
- 19:34Speaker 3: he's in here, but he was doing the MacBook giveaway
- 19:39Speaker 3: and I made a bunch of videos trying to explain
- 19:42Speaker 3: why I think I'd be a good person to receive
- 19:45Speaker 3: the MacBook, and yeah, he followed me back, And you
- 19:48Speaker 3: can ask my wife. I very few times have I
- 19:51Speaker 3: actually fangirled about people following me back, But the night
- 19:54Speaker 3: he followed me back and told me that I that
- 19:57Speaker 3: I was gonna win the MacBook. I like, couldn't. I
- 20:00Speaker 3: was pumped. I was so excited. But if you remember
- 20:03Speaker 3: the video I made, I was really disappointed because I
- 20:06Speaker 3: had just shaved my entire face into a remember and
- 20:11Speaker 3: I was so upset about it too. I was like
- 20:13Speaker 3: the day Kevin following back, the guy known for beard content.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I cut everything off except for a mustache. I was
- 20:21Speaker 3: so disappointed.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Atlantis Morisset gets it.
- 20:24Speaker 3: And then I wrote nice one. You see what I did?
- 20:26Speaker 1: There was but yeah, and that was kind of a
- 20:29Speaker 1: segue of one of the questions I had.
- 20:31Speaker 2: You know, I was going to kind of ask you,
- 20:33Speaker 2: you know, what it meant to to not only win
- 20:36Speaker 2: that contest, but to win it from from just an
- 20:39Speaker 2: amazing dude, and you know what I mean, And how it,
- 20:42Speaker 2: you know, helped your business, you know what I mean,
- 20:44Speaker 2: every every person that starts that business can always lose
- 20:47Speaker 2: a little bit of that help, you know, just to
- 20:48Speaker 2: kind of help you get up that hill. And uh,
- 20:51Speaker 2: and just you know, if you want to talk about
- 20:53Speaker 2: what that meant, because it was pretty cool and that
- 20:54Speaker 2: was actually the first time that that it kind of
- 20:56Speaker 2: puts you on my Radar was the first couple of
- 20:58Speaker 2: videos that I saw when he was doing in this
- 21:00Speaker 2: and to give away, and a couple of people that
- 21:01Speaker 2: I've talked to, they were like, yeah, that's the first
- 21:03Speaker 2: time I actually saw them.
- 21:04Speaker 3: It's cool. Yeah, No, it was really cool because, like,
- 21:07Speaker 3: my account was finally starting to grow purely based on
- 21:11Speaker 3: my schizophrenia content, and I really did want to talk
- 21:14Speaker 3: more about my business because it's an important part of
- 21:16Speaker 3: who I am, you know, as a reformed convict and
- 21:19Speaker 3: a recovered addict, and so for him to reach out
- 21:23Speaker 3: it was really cool because it got it gave my
- 21:27Speaker 3: page the ability to talk about more than just my schizophrenia.
- 21:31Speaker 3: And don't get me wrong, I love talking about mental
- 21:33Speaker 3: health awareness and addiction, but that really helped. You know,
- 21:37Speaker 3: I think certain things can change your algorithm a little bit,
- 21:40Speaker 3: and I really think that was the thing that gave
- 21:44Speaker 3: me the ability to talk about my business and still
- 21:47Speaker 3: get some views, because you know, I made videos about
- 21:50Speaker 3: it previously and it got nowhere. Like at the time
- 21:53Speaker 3: I think I would make a video about it, I
- 21:54Speaker 3: get no joke, like ten to twenty views, And so
- 21:58Speaker 3: I had all these people come up over from Kevin's
- 22:00Speaker 3: page I had to literally make a gofund me because
- 22:04Speaker 3: they were asking. They're like, we want to help, we
- 22:06Speaker 3: want to donate. And even with covid going on right now,
- 22:10Speaker 3: some of the original funding that I got from that
- 22:13Speaker 3: wave of people is still paying our rent right now
- 22:16Speaker 3: through COVID.
- 22:17Speaker 4: That's awesome. I'm so happy.
- 22:19Speaker 1: That's unreal.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm super happy about that. And I was kind
- 22:22Speaker 4: of hoping that would be the case. But I when
- 22:25Speaker 4: it comes to like certain things like that, because there
- 22:27Speaker 4: was there was at the time, there was no GoFundMe,
- 22:29Speaker 4: there was nothing. It was just you wanted to help
- 22:32Speaker 4: your business. And I was like absolutely, But I knew
- 22:34Speaker 4: in the back of my head the second I brought
- 22:37Speaker 4: awareness to your page, I was like, he's going to
- 22:39Speaker 4: get support from other people. Because for me, it's I
- 22:43Speaker 4: found that I if I say hey, go donate to
- 22:46Speaker 4: this go fundme, no one really listens.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Yeah, And I.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Think that's the same with a lot of people if
- 22:52Speaker 4: they if you hear to see someone say go donate
- 22:55Speaker 4: to this go fundme, You're just gonna scroll right past it.
- 22:58Speaker 4: But for them, if for me, it felt like it
- 23:01Speaker 4: was more organic to send people to your page, which
- 23:05Speaker 4: is obviously what I wanted to do. I wanted you
- 23:07Speaker 4: to have exposure because I really believe in what you're doing, obviously,
- 23:12Speaker 4: but I and then I also wanted the people that
- 23:14Speaker 4: I sent over there to have, uh, to play a
- 23:17Speaker 4: part in helping as well, without without being coerced.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I guess yeah, it.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Feels it feels disingenuous to me when I say give money,
- 23:29Speaker 4: but if they begged you, I'm so glad that that's
- 23:31Speaker 4: the case, because I've seen some of the comments about it,
- 23:33Speaker 4: but I didn't see anything about you setting up a
- 23:35Speaker 4: go fund me, So I'm really happy that that happened.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Yeah, and like you said, it was really organic because
- 23:41Speaker 3: at the time that wasn't my goal. Like, yes, yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 3: funding is awesome. And actually, uh, I give Kevin some
- 23:47Speaker 3: of the credit for me deciding to go nonprofit because
- 23:50Speaker 3: at the time we were still a for profit business,
- 23:53Speaker 3: and I really saw that people loved the idea of it,
- 23:56Speaker 3: and I figured, you know, it's not something I want
- 24:00Speaker 3: to get rich off of. It's something I would love
- 24:02Speaker 3: to do full time. But the reason I made it
- 24:05Speaker 3: was to help people, and the best way for me
- 24:07Speaker 3: to do that was to make it go To make
- 24:09Speaker 3: it a nonprofit, and when it became a nonprofit, people
- 24:13Speaker 3: just were so much more willing to help us out.
- 24:15Speaker 3: We get suit donations, dress clothed donations, people, We have
- 24:20Speaker 3: a company in our city that does free haircuts and
- 24:24Speaker 3: beard trimmings and like, so we have all these awesome resources,
- 24:28Speaker 3: most of which came because of you know the you
- 24:31Speaker 3: know the video where Kevin gave me that MacBook, And
- 24:34Speaker 3: like you said, it was all super organic. Nothing was forced.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Everyone just wanted to be a part of it. They
- 24:40Speaker 3: wanted to help. And even though we only help like
- 24:43Speaker 3: a small area right now, we do want to expand
- 24:46Speaker 3: you know, obviously I would love to see this be
- 24:48Speaker 3: like something that could be provided in nationwide because it's
- 24:51Speaker 3: needed everywhere. But absolutely, but like for it to be
- 24:55Speaker 3: so organic, because I didn't like have any plans. I
- 24:59Speaker 3: was just like, you know, this laptop can help me
- 25:02Speaker 3: help people get jobs. I was I was working off
- 25:05Speaker 3: a computer that was barely functioning, and it was really
- 25:09Speaker 3: tough for me to like, I mean, I put together
- 25:12Speaker 3: resumes by myself. I pretty much run the show right now.
- 25:15Speaker 3: I have a few people helping me out, but when
- 25:18Speaker 3: people walk through the door, they don't interview with someone
- 25:20Speaker 3: else they interview with me, I get to share my experience,
- 25:24Speaker 3: I get to build their resume, help them get ready
- 25:27Speaker 3: for the interview. Like, so it was really important for
- 25:30Speaker 3: me to have something that worked better. And so that
- 25:34Speaker 3: computer really opened up a lot of possibilities for me,
- 25:37Speaker 3: and all the you know, stuff that came after was
- 25:41Speaker 3: just unexpected and amazing because it's like, like you said,
- 25:45Speaker 3: it wasn't intentional, and it just it really like increased
- 25:49Speaker 3: the ability of our business to like I've helped people
- 25:53Speaker 3: out of state. It's not something I can do a lot,
- 25:55Speaker 3: but every once in a while I get a really
- 25:57Speaker 3: intense situation where they're like, hey, I'm a single dad,
- 26:01Speaker 3: three kids, felony, I just need a job placement. It's like, yeah,
- 26:04Speaker 3: I don't have any clients out there, but I was
- 26:06Speaker 3: able to call find some people that would interview with them,
- 26:09Speaker 3: get them prepped for the interview. I don't make anything
- 26:12Speaker 3: out of it, but that's one more person that you know,
- 26:15Speaker 3: looked for a job for four years out of prison
- 26:17Speaker 3: and can find one.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And so you're you're kind of talking about it and tell,
- 26:23Speaker 2: you know, tell, tell everybody, what is the business? You know,
- 26:26Speaker 2: kind of what was behind it or anything that you
- 26:28Speaker 2: want to you know, want you want.
- 26:29Speaker 1: To share with the business.
- 26:30Speaker 2: You know, obviously it's a very important part of you,
- 26:32Speaker 2: and it's an amazing thing that you're doing. And you know,
- 26:35Speaker 2: I've been to the website. I read on some stuff
- 26:36Speaker 2: like it's it's amazing. Why didn't you tell people about it?
- 26:40Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's called one opportunity hiring. And the reason
- 26:44Speaker 3: it's so important to me is because, for those of
- 26:46Speaker 3: you who don't know, I am a convicted felon. When
- 26:49Speaker 3: I was eighteen, I was suffering from you know, my
- 26:52Speaker 3: symptoms starting to manifest. So most people don't develop schizophrenia
- 26:58Speaker 3: until they're about eighteen to twenty five, and right before
- 27:01Speaker 3: I turned nineteen, I started having these you know symptoms,
- 27:04Speaker 3: and I was using drugs to cope. That led to
- 27:07Speaker 3: me getting some felony charges, serving some time in jail,
- 27:12Speaker 3: and when I got out, it was really difficult to
- 27:15Speaker 3: find a job. And I live in an area where
- 27:18Speaker 3: there's a lot of drugs. We live in between Chicago
- 27:21Speaker 3: and the Twin Cities, so drugs come through here. You know,
- 27:25Speaker 3: Highway fourteen, you can get directly to and from both
- 27:28Speaker 3: of those big cities, so we do have a lot
- 27:31Speaker 3: of people that were in the same scenario as me,
- 27:34Speaker 3: and it's just not a big enough area that there's
- 27:36Speaker 3: a whole bunch of jobs available. So when I finally
- 27:41Speaker 3: was more stable, I decided to go back to school
- 27:44Speaker 3: for human resource management, and that's where I started seeing
- 27:48Speaker 3: that there was, you know, this huge need for what
- 27:52Speaker 3: I call second chance hiring and what you know, the
- 27:54Speaker 3: human resource field called second chance hiring. And there's a
- 27:59Speaker 3: few companies doing it around the world, but none of
- 28:02Speaker 3: them are nonprofit. A lot of them are. You know,
- 28:04Speaker 3: it's I hate to say it's about the money, but
- 28:07Speaker 3: a lot of people right now are really trying to
- 28:09Speaker 3: cash in that paycheck on an already vulnerable population. So
- 28:15Speaker 3: my goal was to be able to represent that population
- 28:20Speaker 3: as someone who's been a part of that population, as
- 28:23Speaker 3: a reformed convict, as a recovering addict. And so that's
- 28:27Speaker 3: why I took all the steps and started the company
- 28:31Speaker 3: myself with the little experience I had in recruiting, staffing, interviewing,
- 28:37Speaker 3: and it's been amazing the amount of support we got
- 28:40Speaker 3: not only in our community but on TikTok and you know,
- 28:44Speaker 3: all over the world. People have been wanting to help
- 28:46Speaker 3: us out, and so yeah, it's awesome and who wants
- 28:49Speaker 3: to you know what I mean.
- 28:50Speaker 2: You're very relatable for your your you know your clientele,
- 28:54Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Anybody can go in there
- 28:56Speaker 2: and you know, go for this job and dress this,
- 29:00Speaker 2: but you know, having your organization being physically in their
- 29:03Speaker 2: shoes and potentially providing their shoes for them, you know
- 29:06Speaker 2: what I mean. Like, it's it's a great idea too.
- 29:09Speaker 2: It's an absolutely amazing business man. Like it's it's also
- 29:11Speaker 2: I think you're doing great work.
- 29:13Speaker 4: And absolutely as soon as as soon as I saw
- 29:16Speaker 4: your video, because I was looking I held a lot
- 29:19Speaker 4: of the comments for that for that giveaway were like
- 29:22Speaker 4: I need it for school, just that just I needed
- 29:24Speaker 4: for school. Like okay, like I know, I understand you
- 29:28Speaker 4: need it for school, or you need it for this,
- 29:30Speaker 4: or you need it for that. But like I was
- 29:33Speaker 4: really like set on making sure that it went to
- 29:36Speaker 4: someone who, like who could really really utilize it. And
- 29:40Speaker 4: the second I saw what your your business was about,
- 29:43Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, without a shadow, there was no question
- 29:47Speaker 4: as to who I was going to give it to.
- 29:48Speaker 4: Because that's that's like, that's amazing. Yeah, especially if that's
- 29:52Speaker 4: like that's like service work in its highest form, you know,
- 29:57Speaker 4: and that's the cool I think that's the coolest thing ever.
- 30:00Speaker 4: I gotta I've been meaning.
- 30:01Speaker 3: To reach out to you.
- 30:02Speaker 4: I have so much going on.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Yeah, No, for sure, you got a baby, I got
- 30:07Speaker 3: a buddy.
- 30:07Speaker 4: I got a buddy who who's interested in working on
- 30:11Speaker 4: some stuff similar out here in Washington. So he'd be, uh,
- 30:16Speaker 4: that'd be a good person. He'd you'd be a good
- 30:18Speaker 4: resource for him to talk to.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Absolutely, yeah, definitely. And yeah, there's a.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Bunch of comments about whether or not I'm tired or
- 30:26Speaker 4: if I'm sad. I am mentally and physically exhausted. I
- 30:32Speaker 4: have had a grand total of maybe seven hours of
- 30:35Speaker 4: sleep since Monday. Oh and it's Brandy's therapi is for
- 30:41Speaker 4: fourth day back at work. So it's been it's been just.
- 30:45Speaker 3: It's been a week. You've had a week.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Been a week, all right.
- 30:48Speaker 2: So this is the time of the show where anybody
- 30:50Speaker 2: that is watching on the original Iron Sanctuary network heading
- 30:53Speaker 2: over to the Beard Laws Network. I'm gonna throw the

- 32:15Speaker 1: Voice, it's hideous.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Lone Bear Beers, Lone Bear Beer dot Com guys, they
- 32:21Speaker 2: have some amazing sense. My favorite is I it's been
- 32:24Speaker 2: my go to a lot is actually right here.
- 32:26Speaker 3: It's the coffee scent.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I really like this that way, when you get a
- 32:30Speaker 2: bunch of coffee and your beard in the morning, you
- 32:32Speaker 2: just finish it off with some coffee cent. Just a
- 32:35Speaker 2: great great They've been on our show a little while ago.
- 32:38Speaker 2: We had a beard segment and everything. So just a
- 32:40Speaker 2: great company. So I got a question for you. What
- 32:43Speaker 2: is your favorite cheese? Is no, what is your favorite cheese?
- 32:47Speaker 2: But what is the best cheese? Being from Wisconsin, you
- 32:50Speaker 2: gotta have some cheese games.
- 32:52Speaker 3: So I don't know if you knew this because you
- 32:55Speaker 3: said you watched all my videos. Do you know I'm
- 32:57Speaker 3: actually a licensed cheesemaker? Did you know that I did.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I'm asking you cheese, and Logan loves
- 33:03Speaker 2: himself some cheese.
- 33:04Speaker 3: So I've grown to really dislike cheese, but I'll tell
- 33:10Speaker 3: you so. I will tell you my personal favorite is
- 33:13Speaker 3: pepper jack. I really like organic pepper jack cheese. The
- 33:18Speaker 3: process for cheddar cheese, I never really liked it, and
- 33:21Speaker 3: I think it made me stop eating it. I will
- 33:24Speaker 3: eat age cheddar. That's the one exception for cheddar.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Chetta isn't always better.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Isn't always better, but sometimes I did. When I was
- 33:33Speaker 3: doing my cheesemakers course, we tried over one hundred different
- 33:37Speaker 3: cheeses and at the time I didn't take before you
- 33:40Speaker 3: poop it was well. It was a seven day course,
- 33:43Speaker 3: so we try. We tried different types of day, but no.
- 33:50Speaker 3: The while I was in that course, I was twenty
- 33:54Speaker 3: two at the time and I tried a twenty five
- 33:57Speaker 3: year cheddar and it I still have dreams about it.
- 34:01Speaker 3: I wake up and I think it was so good.
- 34:05Speaker 2: What's your take on smoked cheese? Because I love to
- 34:09Speaker 2: take like a cheaper cheese, you know what I mean,
- 34:12Speaker 2: like a store brand, like a local grocery. Want take
- 34:14Speaker 2: it and slow smoke it for a while. It takes
- 34:18Speaker 2: that cheap cheese and it puts it into a class
- 34:20Speaker 2: that like you're like, oh shit, So I'm just wondering
- 34:23Speaker 2: your take on some smoke cheese.
- 34:25Speaker 3: I mean, like you said, I think it's good if
- 34:27Speaker 3: you're trying to improve cheap cheese. If I see you
- 34:31Speaker 3: do that with a twenty five year cheddar, I might
- 34:33Speaker 3: lose my mind a little bit.
- 34:34Speaker 2: But I mean, obviously you know, but it's just cool
- 34:38Speaker 2: because you can go in there buy a big brick
- 34:39Speaker 2: for what eight nine bucks? Yeah, smoke it for a while,
- 34:42Speaker 2: and it gives it like a wicked taste.
- 34:45Speaker 3: We did that.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I do that over the summer a decent amount. And
- 34:47Speaker 2: I brought it to some people and they're like, damn,
- 34:49Speaker 2: where'd you get this cheese? That's a local store brand.
- 34:52Speaker 2: They're like no, And I was like, you like to
- 34:54Speaker 2: smoke it for like seven Yeah?
- 34:57Speaker 6: I had some of it smoked cheese. And I do
- 35:01Speaker 6: not like smoked cheese. I don't like smoked like charcoald anything.
- 35:04Speaker 6: It just it rips my stomach for some reason. The
- 35:07Speaker 6: smoke cheese.
- 35:08Speaker 7: If if I had to have smoked cheese, I'd eat
- 35:11Speaker 7: that smoked cheese.
- 35:12Speaker 1: He's just saying that because I'm here. But yeah, so, yeah,
- 35:15Speaker 1: and it's just cool.
- 35:16Speaker 3: That's so I was curious.
- 35:16Speaker 2: So you're gonna say, awesome, My god man, we got it.
- 35:22Speaker 2: We I don't think there's there's not anywhere near us
- 35:24Speaker 2: now that we can't go to Canada that would have
- 35:27Speaker 2: a twenty five year cheese.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I don't know. We got a lot of cheese curd
- 35:32Speaker 1: around here.
- 35:32Speaker 3: You like cheese curds, yeah, actually so back when I
- 35:35Speaker 3: don't the So the reason the Petder cheese process is
- 35:39Speaker 3: so confusing is because you actually make cheese curds and
- 35:41Speaker 3: then you push them together. That's what cheddar cheese is. Yeah. So,
- 35:46Speaker 3: and in Wisconsin we are actually known for fresh cheese curds,
- 35:50Speaker 3: like squeaky, like you bite them into them and they're
- 35:53Speaker 3: breath So I used to make those weekly when I
- 35:56Speaker 3: was a cheesemaker, and I would take what I called
- 35:59Speaker 3: the cheese maker sample every every week. You know, I
- 36:03Speaker 3: would take a bag of fresh cards with me. So
- 36:05Speaker 3: I'm a huge fan of cheese curds. It's one of
- 36:08Speaker 3: the fused cheese products that I still actively eat quite
- 36:11Speaker 3: a bit.
- 36:12Speaker 4: I extra sharp smoke. Sorry, the cheese. I've just found
- 36:17Speaker 4: as a cheese supplier in my area because i've been
- 36:22Speaker 4: I've been using store bought. She's obviously for a lot
- 36:25Speaker 4: of the stuff that I've been making, which is the
- 36:28Speaker 4: best I can do right now. But some of it's okay, Yeah,
- 36:34Speaker 4: but it's no, it's not. But what's funny is is
- 36:38Speaker 4: I've been doing that the Chef Sanctuary series, where basically
- 36:43Speaker 4: the series is an excuse. It's not an excuse, it's
- 36:47Speaker 4: to force me to make dinner because if I'm if
- 36:50Speaker 4: I'm just making dinner, it sucks. But if I'm making
- 36:53Speaker 4: dinner and I record myself making dinner, it's content. So
- 36:58Speaker 4: I started doing that, and I've I've said in multiple
- 37:01Speaker 4: of my my videos that you measure cheese and garlic
- 37:05Speaker 4: with your heart. And someone drew me a logo with that,
- 37:09Speaker 4: and it's a it's a piece of cheese, and it's
- 37:11Speaker 4: a piece, and it's a it's a whole heart. It's
- 37:14Speaker 4: not called a Is it a heart of garlic? Or
- 37:17Speaker 4: is the whole the whole garlic clove? No, no, no, clove?
- 37:20Speaker 4: Is the small piece?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're right, Yeah, yeah, it's a little piece.
- 37:24Speaker 4: I think it's a heart or something like that. The
- 37:27Speaker 4: whole thing.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Is what you're saying.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Yeah, like you would actually take from the garden.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Yeah, and then and it says measure with your heart
- 37:34Speaker 4: and that link link in my biome.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Like head over to TikTok. You've probably been.
- 37:43Speaker 3: So, so tell.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Us why your user name was can't grow a beard guy?
- 37:47Speaker 2: I mean, obviously if you couldn't grow it, were you
- 37:51Speaker 2: were you sad about?
- 37:52Speaker 3: Were you okay with it?
- 37:53Speaker 7: Like?
- 37:53Speaker 3: Was it just something?
- 37:54Speaker 2: Did you use it all over your social media's or
- 37:56Speaker 2: was it just like a TikTok thing?
- 37:58Speaker 3: I mean so honestly, and untill I started TikTok, I
- 38:01Speaker 3: really ain't have much for other social media's, which is
- 38:03Speaker 3: why across the board they're all schizophrenic hippie now kind
- 38:07Speaker 3: of yeah, yeah, so I kind of developed like all
- 38:10Speaker 3: my other social media after I changed my name and
- 38:13Speaker 3: started like really understanding what content I wanted to do
- 38:16Speaker 3: full time. But they can't grow beard, you know. I
- 38:20Speaker 3: think I think everyone wants a full, luxurious beard like
- 38:24Speaker 3: you guys have, and some of us just don't have
- 38:26Speaker 3: the genetics for it. Like I got these post malone
- 38:30Speaker 3: spots that I call them that just won't fill in. Yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 3: So I mean, yeah I was. I was a little
- 38:35Speaker 3: bummed about it, but I mean it's getting there and
- 38:37Speaker 3: I'll take it. So mine took a long time.
- 38:40Speaker 6: It's well documented on this show that it took me
- 38:43Speaker 6: till I was about thirty six thirty seven to actually
- 38:46Speaker 6: get rid of the patches.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's the thing too, you know, you said it,
- 38:50Speaker 2: you said it perfect, and Dancy can attest. You can
- 38:54Speaker 2: only work with what you got, you know what I mean.
- 38:56Speaker 2: But the cool thing is if you can grow a beard,
- 38:58Speaker 2: like nobody has your your unique and you can really
- 39:01Speaker 2: only grow what you can physically grow, so rocket and
- 39:04Speaker 2: own it, you know what I mean, Like if the
- 39:05Speaker 2: goate's there and then this is that, then you make
- 39:08Speaker 2: the goatee your thing.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Like it's just one of those things.
- 39:10Speaker 2: And a lot of people are always asking me, I
- 39:12Speaker 2: know they're asking Iron Sanctuary over and over about beard stuff.
- 39:14Speaker 1: But it's just one thing.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Like genetics is key and there's no magical There's all
- 39:19Speaker 2: these people that are promoting beard growth oils and beard
- 39:22Speaker 2: growth pills, like there's no magic thing that are going
- 39:25Speaker 2: to do it. What's gonna happen is you're gonna end
- 39:27Speaker 2: up with fingernails out here, you know what I mean,
- 39:29Speaker 2: And some other things are gonna grow on you.
- 39:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well the genetics, because like, look, my beard's
- 39:37Speaker 4: the way it is right now right. I don't know why,
- 39:40Speaker 4: but like once it gets past like right here, it
- 39:43Speaker 4: starts getting super wispy and it just won't grow any
- 39:47Speaker 4: more than that. I mean, I can keep it a
- 39:49Speaker 4: certain length, but once it gets to a certain when
- 39:51Speaker 4: it gets to a certain length, I have to trim
- 39:53Speaker 4: it because it starts looking wispy and scraggly and and
- 39:56Speaker 4: it doesn't look as good. Where you have people like
- 39:59Speaker 4: Matt who just can grow the most insanely beautiful freaking
- 40:05Speaker 4: uh gand off or freaking.
- 40:10Speaker 3: But even this one, you know what I like.
- 40:12Speaker 2: I just so I'm obviously I love beard contests, and
- 40:15Speaker 2: I don't know if you know, but there's beer contest
- 40:17Speaker 2: and the cool thing real quick, just to quick, like
- 40:19Speaker 2: beard contesting, every beard contest, everything that eraises goes to
- 40:24Speaker 2: some sort of charity, every single one. So Nationals this
- 40:27Speaker 2: year unfortunately we're going through this pandemic. But Nationals switch
- 40:32Speaker 2: to an online contest, and it's something that I really
- 40:35Speaker 2: wanted to go and I had I had some money
- 40:36Speaker 2: saved up to join some contests and and somethink that
- 40:40Speaker 2: I created COVID because now I can go to all
- 40:42Speaker 2: of these contests from this studio.
- 40:44Speaker 1: So I'm super excited about it.
- 40:45Speaker 2: But nationals instead of having to fly to Texas or
- 40:48Speaker 2: one of the where it is, I can do it online.
- 40:50Speaker 3: And I'm super excited.
- 40:52Speaker 2: And uh, to to make it look better, I actually
- 40:54Speaker 2: took probably four to six inches off the beard. I
- 40:57Speaker 2: mean it's still there, but just to make it look better,
- 41:00Speaker 2: like you said, I you know, even even the longer
- 41:02Speaker 2: beards have you know that little bit of of kind
- 41:06Speaker 2: of cody.
- 41:08Speaker 7: I mean, the mustache is there, mustache, the ch go
- 41:12Speaker 7: go for the old Orlando bloom pirate look for a while.
- 41:15Speaker 3: I'm telling you, man, I can grow a pretty decent
- 41:18Speaker 3: go tee like this. This will go in all day.
- 41:21Speaker 6: Do that and then then let let your stash go
- 41:23Speaker 6: and let it get long and you're right in there.
- 41:27Speaker 7: You're you're you're in the talk.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, that's the thing like talking beards. You know,
- 41:31Speaker 2: those guys their their world. You know, they placed in
- 41:35Speaker 2: the World Championships. Being just go Tea's just and let
- 41:39Speaker 2: the girl. But woman and I are fighting, by the way,
- 41:42Speaker 2: good luck.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, I.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Want any part of that. I'm sorry, Megan.
- 41:47Speaker 2: So obviously you've been told you look like post Malone
- 41:50Speaker 2: a million times. Is there any other people that they
- 41:54Speaker 2: say you look kind of alike?
- 41:55Speaker 3: That's kind of funny? I so there's one that I
- 41:58Speaker 3: find really funny. People say I look and sound like
- 42:03Speaker 3: mister Beast, and I think, yeah, so I think it's
- 42:09Speaker 3: more the voice. But I think, once again, because of
- 42:12Speaker 3: the kind of patchy Beard, I think people associate us,
- 42:15Speaker 3: and that that one I think makes more sense to
- 42:18Speaker 3: me than post Malone. It really does, because, like I
- 42:20Speaker 3: played our voices side by side, and I think our
- 42:23Speaker 3: voices are kind of similar, which is why people connect
- 42:27Speaker 3: that we all have doppelgangers. Obviously, you know who want
- 42:30Speaker 3: of his doppelgangers, And the one that I get all
- 42:32Speaker 3: the time is the dude from Beard meets Food. Oh yeah,
- 42:35Speaker 3: oh yeah. And I saw a beer toong John's new.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I went through and I was scrolling and I was like, oh,
- 42:45Speaker 2: there's a John video, but it doesn't say your friend,
- 42:47Speaker 2: And I was like, what the fuck? Something Chris kag
- 42:51Speaker 2: Ken or kag Chris, and I was like, oh shit, yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 4: John's duet or John's green screen of that that video.
- 42:59Speaker 4: It's so almost identical.
- 43:04Speaker 2: It's scary, I know. I messaged him and I was like, dude,
- 43:07Speaker 2: is that a cousin or is it? And then I
- 43:09Speaker 2: was I wanted to be like, someone's got some splaining
- 43:12Speaker 2: to do. Oh shit, we got some breaking news, ladies
- 43:15Speaker 2: and gentlemen. Oh no, breaking news.
- 43:18Speaker 7: It's time Matt's other doppelganger, Harold Bains hal Bain'.
- 43:25Speaker 1: That's my real dad.
- 43:25Speaker 3: That's what logan.
- 43:27Speaker 1: You interrupted? Breaking news? We have breaking news. Do you
- 43:30Speaker 1: know what it is?
- 43:41Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 43:42Speaker 2: It's now time for our segment. Masked interviewer. So, Cody,
- 43:46Speaker 2: I don't know if you know what this is, but
- 43:48Speaker 2: we bring in an interviewer who is masked. They're going
- 43:50Speaker 2: to ask you some questions. You can ask them questions back.
- 43:54Speaker 2: You will get three guesses.
- 43:55Speaker 3: All right.
- 43:56Speaker 2: This isn't just some random person we found on the street,
- 43:58Speaker 2: because last week the that came on was a little
- 44:01Speaker 2: sketched out by Iron Sanctuary. I didn't really like this
- 44:04Speaker 2: person too much, all right, so we're gonna bring them in,
- 44:08Speaker 2: all right, The whole point of them is to kind
- 44:10Speaker 2: of make it so you don't know who they are.
- 44:12Speaker 2: You get three guesses. If you can guess correctly, they
- 44:15Speaker 2: will reveal themselves. If you do not guess correctly, we
- 44:18Speaker 2: put them back into the pool of all of these
- 44:21Speaker 2: people that can come on and be a part of
- 44:23Speaker 2: the show and mess with somebody. There has been a
- 44:26Speaker 2: couple of mass interviewers that were not guessed. It could
- 44:28Speaker 2: be them, it could be someone new. But and you
- 44:31Speaker 2: asked that when you ask them questions, they have to
- 44:34Speaker 2: be truthful.
- 44:35Speaker 1: To you on their response.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Okay, so when you ask them questions, and then I'm
- 44:39Speaker 2: gonna just random and be like, all right, you need
- 44:40Speaker 2: a guess, and it's okay if you guess wrong. But
- 44:43Speaker 2: massed interviewer, are you ready? He's ready or she's ready?
- 44:47Speaker 2: They're ready? What's up, massed interviewer? As you know, this
- 44:52Speaker 2: is our guest schizophrenic hippie, go ahead, converse, gentlemen.
- 44:58Speaker 4: We can't even hear him, can you hear me?
- 45:01Speaker 3: I can hear you your but we can hear you.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I've seen is that Cody?
- 45:07Speaker 3: I think I've seen him on TikTok? Can I guess
- 45:09Speaker 3: who it is? Oh god, yeah, yeah, if you what's
- 45:16Speaker 3: up Colin? How's it going?
- 45:17Speaker 1: Man?
- 45:18Speaker 4: Your voice, dude, your voice sounds it's the exact.
- 45:22Speaker 3: Voice to do.
- 45:23Speaker 9: Though I didn't want to like, hey, guys, I was
- 45:26Speaker 9: honestly was like, man, like, that's not it wasn't even
- 45:30Speaker 9: the voice it was.
- 45:32Speaker 3: I mean, I just met the dude last week. I
- 45:34Speaker 3: spent like the whole weekend with him. But I did
- 45:37Speaker 3: recognize everything was covered.
- 45:40Speaker 4: But this, you guys spend a lot of time together,
- 45:43Speaker 4: that close together.
- 45:44Speaker 3: I did right there.
- 45:48Speaker 4: That's not social distancing.
- 45:52Speaker 3: That's why.
- 45:54Speaker 4: How many of those comments? Did you guys get a lot?
- 45:57Speaker 3: Yeah? I got I don't know if Colin got any,
- 45:58Speaker 3: but I got like, oh where is your mask? We
- 46:00Speaker 3: got it more when we went to see Jake and Bobby.
- 46:04Speaker 3: We got him a lot while we were there. Yep,
- 46:07Speaker 3: Well that was that was good. That was good.
- 46:09Speaker 2: So it was funny because I was like, all right,
- 46:11Speaker 2: he's gonna be the guests and me and Colin were
- 46:12Speaker 2: talking and he I was like, you want to be
- 46:14Speaker 2: the mass interviewers? Like fuck yeah. And then then unfortunately
- 46:19Speaker 2: he's been stuck in traffic, driving like he was in
- 46:21Speaker 2: Grand theft Auto five.
- 46:24Speaker 3: He's messaged me, like, dude, the map.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Says like nine night says like map twenty nine twenty
- 46:28Speaker 2: all right, perfect, dude, ren like nine thirty now, dude,
- 46:31Speaker 2: I'm in nine forty.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I'm a boutch of passive people. I'm like, it's okay,
- 46:35Speaker 1: it's okay. That's funny, sou that was good.
- 46:39Speaker 3: That was good.
- 46:40Speaker 1: We'll have to work on the voices a little bit.
- 46:42Speaker 1: But uh, thank you, thank thanks for jumping in.
- 46:46Speaker 2: But since you didn't get a chance to even really
- 46:48Speaker 2: ask a question, if you want to ask him a
- 46:50Speaker 2: question or even tell a story from the trip about
- 46:52Speaker 2: him as well.
- 46:54Speaker 3: All right, cool.
- 46:55Speaker 9: So first off, right, Cody, that's what we said out there, Okay,
- 47:00Speaker 9: I am yeah, yeah, love you Mahomie.
- 47:02Speaker 3: You already know.
- 47:03Speaker 9: Cody says when he gets the PA that he wants
- 47:05Speaker 9: a Philly cheese steak. I'm like, bet, bet, I got
- 47:09Speaker 9: you Philly cheese everywhere. They're even better in Pennsylvania. Okay, yep,
- 47:15Speaker 9: we go to this Italian restaurant in my town. They
- 47:17Speaker 9: make like the best cheese steaks in my area. So
- 47:20Speaker 9: I'm like, okay, Cody, this is what you get. Got
- 47:22Speaker 9: the green onions or the green peppers, the onions, the cheese.
- 47:26Speaker 9: So he comes up, He's like, yeah, can I get
- 47:27Speaker 9: a Philly cheese steak? And she's like, yeah, what do
- 47:30Speaker 9: you want on it? Like everything normal? He's like, no,
- 47:33Speaker 9: can I just get lettice and tomato on it?
- 47:35Speaker 3: What I knew I was gonna get annihilated.
- 47:39Speaker 9: And then we I just sat there and just laughed
- 47:41Speaker 9: at him. Hour He's like, it's really good. I'm like,
- 47:43Speaker 9: it's not a cheese steak. Yeah, you got a sub.
- 47:48Speaker 3: Yeah I was. I thought that was gonna be what
- 47:51Speaker 3: you brought up to. So you guys do the cheese whiz.
- 47:56Speaker 9: Yeah, with the fried onions and green peppers.
- 48:00Speaker 1: It's the best. That's the only good thing about Philly.
- 48:03Speaker 3: I think even the lady working was trying to roast me.
- 48:06Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, we don't call this a Philly cheese steak.
- 48:08Speaker 3: We call it a California cheese steak. I was like,
- 48:12Speaker 3: oh damn ship. Yep, that was definitely a roast. Yeah,
- 48:16Speaker 3: so a lot of fun though we both had. We
- 48:19Speaker 3: both had a really good time. That's awesome.
- 48:21Speaker 2: And once COVID hits, we've already got a whole bunch
- 48:23Speaker 2: of trips already lined up.
- 48:24Speaker 1: We're gonna go catch the Braves game.
- 48:26Speaker 2: We're gonna catch some Philly games and all sorts of
- 48:29Speaker 2: cool stuff. And uh and Zach, I know you're not
- 48:31Speaker 2: watching because the Braves around, but if you rewatch this,
- 48:33Speaker 2: it's bottom of six one one.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I know your stress as hell, man, but enjoy that game.
- 48:37Speaker 7: Man.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Last night was brutal. I had to check in on
- 48:40Speaker 2: him this morning because I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 48:44Speaker 2: so he's he's doing all right. We talked today. That
- 48:48Speaker 2: was a rough game. So hey, Colin Man, thank you
- 48:51Speaker 2: very much. We'll let you get going.
- 48:52Speaker 3: I know you watched. Appreciate you being a part of it.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Man.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Man, For anybody that doesn't know, if you want to
- 48:57Speaker 2: see some more of him, obviously, hit up all this
- 48:59Speaker 2: social media's and come over to Triple T on Tuesday.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Colin is going to be on Triple T again.
- 49:04Speaker 3: So thanks man.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Oh wait, maybe maybe you're going on a trick, but
- 49:11Speaker 2: a triple in the near future. It'll be there at
- 49:14Speaker 2: some point.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Later later. You nailed it. You were a little nervous
- 49:22Speaker 1: about that.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Uh, you're from Pittsburgh and I uh, you even.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Know she even knows you don't ask for that. We
- 49:31Speaker 1: have a caller online one. We have Wolf and Roses.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Are you guys ready for a call Wolf and Roses? Yeah,
- 49:39Speaker 2: you are now alive on the Beard Law Show.
- 49:41Speaker 3: How's it going?
- 49:44Speaker 2: Sorry, you're probably hearing us from the delay, so.
- 49:46Speaker 10: Uh, down on the on my phone?
- 49:51Speaker 2: All right, So what's happening? What do you who's the
- 49:54Speaker 2: question to wrik it for?
- 49:55Speaker 10: Oh?
- 49:57Speaker 3: How's it going?
- 49:59Speaker 10: It's uh a wolf and.
- 50:03Speaker 4: My question?
- 50:04Speaker 10: So my question is when you so when it's opportunity one.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Right, one? Opportunity one opportunity when you first decided that
- 50:13Speaker 3: you wanted to do this, where were you at?
- 50:16Speaker 10: I mean where you you know, where you already working.
- 50:18Speaker 3: And stuff and you decided to do this? Did you
- 50:21Speaker 3: have to create your child to do this? You know?
- 50:23Speaker 10: Because like were you like financially in a good place
- 50:27Speaker 10: and then you decided this is something that you wanted
- 50:29Speaker 10: to do or you know, what was your what made
- 50:33Speaker 10: you just drop everything and do this? How did and
- 50:36Speaker 10: how was it? And how hard was it for you
- 50:38Speaker 10: to do it? You know, like to get it started up?
- 50:41Speaker 1: Good question, great.
- 50:42Speaker 4: Question, that's really when Yeah, so that's that.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's such a good question. I I was at
- 50:48Speaker 3: a really weird place because at that point I had
- 50:52Speaker 3: pretty much decided that, you know, school wasn't going to
- 50:55Speaker 3: be an option for me, and that I was going
- 50:57Speaker 3: to be kind of stuck doing production forever. But then
- 51:01Speaker 3: I applied to go back to school and I got accepted,
- 51:04Speaker 3: and so that opened up this whole new door for me,
- 51:07Speaker 3: and I knew that I really wanted to be in
- 51:09Speaker 3: human resource so I could give people with mental health
- 51:13Speaker 3: and criminal criminal records like a chance to work. I
- 51:16Speaker 3: was really passionate about that, and then I started going
- 51:20Speaker 3: to school. I saw the need for it, and at
- 51:22Speaker 3: the time my wife and I didn't know I was
- 51:25Speaker 3: going to be going back to school, so we bought
- 51:26Speaker 3: this house. So financially not a great time to do it,
- 51:31Speaker 3: but also I figured that if I was gonna do it,
- 51:36Speaker 3: I had to go all in. So with school full time,
- 51:39Speaker 3: I did have to let go of my full time job,
- 51:42Speaker 3: so I went down to working part time for a
- 51:44Speaker 3: little bit and then just school. So primarily now what
- 51:48Speaker 3: I do is school, my business TikTok. And so it
- 51:54Speaker 3: is really tough because my wife works full time, she
- 51:57Speaker 3: has insurance. She's been the one kind of hell helping
- 52:00Speaker 3: me go back to school and helping me, you know,
- 52:03Speaker 3: get all the things we needed started for the business. Obviously,
- 52:06Speaker 3: I was still working at full time when it started,
- 52:08Speaker 3: so I was able to like help with the upfront costs.
- 52:12Speaker 3: And now we are making money and we do have
- 52:15Speaker 3: a lot of donations, but there are things here and
- 52:18Speaker 3: there that you know, I can't write off, so we
- 52:21Speaker 3: have to you know, she helps me a lot with
- 52:23Speaker 3: all of that stuff. So financially, right after buying a
- 52:26Speaker 3: house that was over our budget, not a great time
- 52:30Speaker 3: to start a business. But I also felt like by
- 52:34Speaker 3: the time school's done, whether I you know, pass or
- 52:37Speaker 3: don't pass, something's gonna have to take place. So I'm
- 52:42Speaker 3: either gonna have to go back to working full time.
- 52:44Speaker 3: So I would really like my wife to work part time.
- 52:47Speaker 3: She has a lot of anxiety and stress. I would
- 52:49Speaker 3: love for her to be able to work part time again,
- 52:52Speaker 3: and I want us to be able to travel. So
- 52:55Speaker 3: I was kind of looking at it as once school's done,
- 52:57Speaker 3: I either have to go back to working full time
- 53:00Speaker 3: or ideally now run my business. So it was really
- 53:05Speaker 3: just like the It wasn't a great time, but it
- 53:08Speaker 3: was the time that I had available, and I was
- 53:11Speaker 3: like it either happens now or it's not going to happen,
- 53:14Speaker 3: because once I go back to working full time, it's
- 53:17Speaker 3: not like I can run this whole business, so exactly.
- 53:21Speaker 3: All such a good question.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Yeah, the great question.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Yeah, amazing answer.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Thank you so much for calling in and being a
- 53:27Speaker 2: part of the being a part of the show. Thanks,
- 53:31Speaker 2: have a good rest of your night. All right, guys,
- 53:35Speaker 2: thank you so much for the question. And if you
- 53:37Speaker 2: guys want to do this, we're running a little on time,
- 53:39Speaker 2: but next time we're going to.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Have a little bit more.
- 53:42Speaker 2: So what we do is we show off a couple
- 53:43Speaker 2: of videos and then we're going to do a giveaway.
- 53:46Speaker 2: All right, we're gonna do the quick segment here. We
- 53:48Speaker 2: each usually pick a video to show off and it's
- 53:51Speaker 2: kind of what we do a lot on on on
- 53:53Speaker 2: Triple T. So if you want to be a part
- 53:55Speaker 2: of this, Cody more and welcomes. It's just a couple
- 53:58Speaker 2: of TikTok videos that we blind react to that that
- 54:01Speaker 2: we send to each other. And uh, we're gonna send
- 54:03Speaker 2: Logan's first. I'm pretty sure this is the one he
- 54:05Speaker 2: said to share. Yeah, this is the one. Yeah, there
- 54:08Speaker 2: was one that He was like, don't share.
- 54:09Speaker 7: This, don't share that.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I don't share that. But it's one that I'm pretty
- 54:12Speaker 1: sure we've all seen.
- 54:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:14Speaker 7: I hadn't seen until today and it was awesome.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what you're gonna say. You're gonna play that card,
- 54:19Speaker 1: all right.
- 54:19Speaker 2: So here is the one that Logan shared. The user
- 54:23Speaker 2: is I'm gonna say it's tie.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I don't know how to say that. I don't know how
- 54:27Speaker 1: to say that, but.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Uh it's t h A I y e U.
- 54:31Speaker 1: L E tell you, tell you. We're gonna go with that,
- 54:34Speaker 1: all right, I think is not me? Oh wow, I
- 54:58Speaker 1: was like, this is not.
- 55:05Speaker 3: God.
- 55:06Speaker 2: I like the one counts Winter Winter Kits in dinner,
- 55:12Speaker 2: all right? And then uh, this is this is one
- 55:14Speaker 2: that I had, and obviously I think I had too
- 55:17Speaker 2: many of them. But again this is triple T. We
- 55:19Speaker 2: get a lot of guests that I mentioned earlier, and
- 55:21Speaker 2: we we all picked these videos and just kind of
- 55:23Speaker 2: blind react.
- 55:24Speaker 1: To them and and and comment about them. So, uh, all.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Right, here we go.
- 55:28Speaker 1: This is uh abba abba male abba male ruse.
- 55:33Speaker 2: I don't know what did I want to pick people
- 55:35Speaker 2: with easier names? Either way, I thought this was funny.
- 55:38Speaker 11: Car your so on your car, in your car, your
- 55:49Speaker 11: on your car.
- 55:56Speaker 3: Have you ever spilt soda in your hair? Like I
- 55:59Speaker 3: know that that's weird that I have, but it's horrible.
- 56:04Speaker 3: It's so bad. And I got long hair and I
- 56:06Speaker 3: did it pretty recently.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Actually, all right, let's do one last one here ready.
- 56:12Speaker 2: This is me and my big bald head.
- 56:15Speaker 12: School was contacting me about my son. It was about
- 56:18Speaker 12: his homework. They think maybe I should be putting him
- 56:20Speaker 12: in special ended classes. I've been doing his homework. It
- 56:29Speaker 12: was about his homework. Maybe I should.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Those a good I've been doing that.
- 56:40Speaker 4: You should pull up the TikTok that I posted before.
- 56:43Speaker 1: This show on your page.
- 56:46Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, I can do that.
- 56:48Speaker 2: And then guys, right after this, we are going to
- 56:49Speaker 2: do the giveaway. And the giveaway is going to be
- 56:51Speaker 2: a question. I'm going to ask you, guys a question
- 56:54Speaker 2: in the first person that we see on our screen
- 56:58Speaker 2: that answers correctly is going to uh to be the winner.
- 57:01Speaker 2: And then you all you have to do is just
- 57:02Speaker 2: send me a message on Instagram and we can uh,
- 57:05Speaker 2: we can get you what you want, which.
- 57:07Speaker 1: You really really want Iron Sanctuary. Oh boy, here we go.

- 57:21Speaker 1: But here we go. This is him an address.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Wait what you're questioning my manhood?
- 57:31Speaker 3: You're gonna you're gonna take my man car?
- 57:34Speaker 1: Come take it.
- 57:37Speaker 3: I'm not gonna.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I'm not gonna.
- 57:39Speaker 4: I mean, you're just jealous because I was better addressed
- 57:41Speaker 4: than you do. I could see your belly. But yeah,
- 57:49Speaker 4: I had to. I had to talk because I video,
- 57:55Speaker 4: I film, and I mean I'm not packing by any means,
- 57:58Speaker 4: so that was part of the reason. But I had
- 58:03Speaker 4: to talk for that video. That's why I was walking
- 58:05Speaker 4: so freaking weird into the camera and out of the
- 58:08Speaker 4: It was just it was an interesting.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Yeah that thing, yep, And the behind the scenes footage
- 58:14Speaker 2: would be would be pretty.
- 58:16Speaker 7: I don't think you want to see the behind the
- 58:17Speaker 7: scenes footage.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, let's get into the giveaway, all right.
- 58:23Speaker 2: So I have a question, all right, So in order
- 58:26Speaker 2: to win, we're gonna ask the question. And where is
- 58:30Speaker 2: the question that I wrote down?
- 58:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Gonna find the question. I found the question, all right.
- 58:34Speaker 2: So the first person that we see on our screen
- 58:38Speaker 2: that is, uh, yeah.
- 58:39Speaker 1: There's always always, there's always.
- 58:42Speaker 4: Honestly, when you get a bunch of dudes together, you're
- 58:44Speaker 4: gonna talk about them, you're gonna show them to each other.
- 58:47Speaker 4: You're gonna just happen measure, You're gonna.
- 58:50Speaker 3: No, no, I was with you for a second there
- 58:54Speaker 3: and then I lost for hours and you can see
- 58:58Speaker 3: everyone's leader. Alright.
- 59:01Speaker 1: So, like I said, I'm gonna ask this question.
- 59:02Speaker 2: The first answer that we see correct on our screen
- 59:05Speaker 2: in the chat is gonna be deemed the winner. And
- 59:08Speaker 2: then that person can reach out to me to the

- 59:16Speaker 2: So the question, are you guys ready for us? What
- 59:19Speaker 2: month is Schizophrenia Awareness Weekend? Which month is Schizophrenia Awareness Weekend?
- 59:28Speaker 2: So the first person that can tell me correctly which
- 59:31Speaker 2: month that this week happens in will be the winner.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Let me think about that question, Cody, that's a really
- 59:38Speaker 3: good question. I'm trying to think if I know the answer.
- 59:43Speaker 2: If not, in my whole point of asking this is
- 59:46Speaker 2: then people a lot of people are gonna know this,
- 59:48Speaker 2: so they're gonna go google it and then it's gonna
- 59:49Speaker 2: be something that hopefully just kind of embeds in their brain. Like, Oh,
- 59:52Speaker 2: I was on a Beard Law show, and I remember
- 59:54Speaker 2: this was the month that this awareness is in.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Yeah, right after the penis talk. I remember, I'm talking
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: about schizophrenia awareness.
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: Essentially the way this show works.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: Hey, that's a good way to ingrain it exactly. All right.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I do see a correct answer, and the first one
