Baxter Recalls Saline Bags With Fiberglass Risk | Sacramento News
Baxter International just recalled two batches of saline bags—Y495523 and Y495523A—due to possible fiberglass contamination that could cause blood clots or even be fatal. Shipped between July 31 and August 3, these 500ml VIAFLEX bags went to 14 states including Florida, New York, and Texas and are used for dialysis prep and electrolytes.
