- 1:12Speaker 3: think my next one's an F two fifty. Pretty fired
- 1:14Speaker 3: up about that. I'm gonna part next to you everyday,
- 1:18Speaker 3: but I'm gonna pull in. I'm not gonna back in
- 1:21Speaker 3: so you can know which one's mine. Good luck and
- 1:24Speaker 3: how it's done. Tried to do that in the tight
- 1:27Speaker 3: parking lot when it's crowded. Oh I did it the
- 1:30Speaker 3: other day. I was like, you know what, I'm just
- 1:32Speaker 3: gonna go in head first on this one. Backing up
- 1:36Speaker 3: was I was. I was at Barnes and Noble backing
- 1:39Speaker 3: up train Wreck six. Forever You back in. It's just
- 1:43Speaker 3: a three it's a three point stop.
- 1:45Speaker 2: You just bring me. You're good if you go in
- 1:49Speaker 2: head first.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I was at Trader Joe's last night, and after I parked,
- 1:57Speaker 4: a truck that looked just like yours pulled up and
- 2:00Speaker 4: he backed in his parking spot and there's a little
- 2:03Speaker 4: blonde girl on the back and I was like, oh
- 2:04Speaker 4: my god, I'm about to run into Matt at Trader Joe's.
- 2:06Speaker 4: It wasn't you obviously.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Trader Joe's and didn't know it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Sho wish you would have seen me.
- 2:19Speaker 5: So I was there.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I really didn't know how that story.
- 2:21Speaker 6: Was going to end. He was on a cliffhanger. Was
- 2:24Speaker 6: that the air?
- 2:24Speaker 4: He was on the edge of his seat, like, yeah,
- 2:28Speaker 4: did you see me?
- 2:33Speaker 2: Uh? You know? So yeah, back then, people, he's a big.
- 2:36Speaker 6: Dumb animal, but he's our big dumb animal.
- 2:40Speaker 7: Smarted a lot a few things, you know, something pop
- 2:45Speaker 7: up during the show.
- 2:47Speaker 6: This show is highlights sports names.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Dumb. Yeah, I'm named dumb for sure.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Yeah. Efficient, I don't really care about stats.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all about the optics for me.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Something that we I test.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I always not had the opportunity to react to here
- 3:07Speaker 3: on this show a little baseball news, Alandra, I think
- 3:10Speaker 3: only appropriate that you give it out over these airwaves.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Shout out. Steven Milam going to come back back. Pulled
- 3:18Speaker 4: his name out the MLB draft, so did Kid Curlin.
- 3:21Speaker 4: So we talked about it. Whenever Caid Curlin was announced
- 3:24Speaker 4: that he was transferring to LSU, that he was very
- 3:26Speaker 4: much draft eligible, he pulled his name out too. So
- 3:30Speaker 4: we get Steven Milam, Cad Curlin. Your infield's looking like
- 3:34Speaker 4: it's going to be them in the middle, Dawson Park
- 3:37Speaker 4: from Texas State at third, and I would say Mason
- 3:40Speaker 4: Brown hopefully at first, and then obviously Cerna has the
- 3:43Speaker 4: ability also to play there if he's not going to
- 3:46Speaker 4: be catching. But it's looking like your infield is starting
- 3:49Speaker 4: to come together. Also, you got an outfielder this weekend too.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Don't know what the outfield's going to look like. Derek
- 3:55Speaker 4: Curriell hasn't said anything. Now, obviously you would be remiss
- 4:01Speaker 4: not to go to the draft right like.
- 4:02Speaker 3: You would, but you would we've seen crazier. Oh, Like
- 4:07Speaker 3: I think pretty much stuff happened.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I think pretty much everybody thought that mylem was gonna
- 4:12Speaker 4: go too.
- 4:13Speaker 6: Yeah, you were on that, but a month ago.
- 4:16Speaker 4: I just don't think he's a first rounder. I think
- 4:18Speaker 4: it's gonna take him a while to make it up
- 4:20Speaker 4: to the MLB. So why not come back for a
- 4:22Speaker 4: fourth year, your senior year, like make some make it
- 4:25Speaker 4: and make some money, I mean, make some memories. He
- 4:28Speaker 4: said it in the video. He said it in his
- 4:30Speaker 4: video when he announced that he was returning, that he
- 4:32Speaker 4: wants to run it back, like he wants another championship.
- 4:35Speaker 4: What if courre wants another one? I mean, I don't
- 4:37Speaker 4: you don't know.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Six years ago and y'all know this, you never get
- 4:41Speaker 3: a Stephen mylm to come back because he would have
- 4:43Speaker 3: no leverage. He'd have no leverage, he'd be whatever round pick.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I don't, we don't know, but he wouldn't have any
- 4:48Speaker 3: leverage to come back. But now with Nil, that is
- 4:51Speaker 3: the one good thing about NIL is the fact that
- 4:54Speaker 3: you can get a player like Steven Mylom because he understands.
- 4:57Speaker 6: What he's going to make. Yeah, and he's gonna go
- 4:59Speaker 6: out there.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Now he's coming back to LSU because he wants to
- 5:01Speaker 3: play for his teammates and on stuff. But it's like, hey,
- 5:04Speaker 3: instead of doing bus rides for sixty thousand dollars signing
- 5:07Speaker 3: most or what.
- 5:07Speaker 6: I don't know. I'm gonna go back to LSU.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I'm gonna make some good money and I'm gonna play
- 5:12Speaker 3: with a really good team because he probably also doesn't
- 5:14Speaker 3: want to leave with the bad tasting.
- 5:16Speaker 6: Of this last season.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, So it's like it's a combination, a little amalgamation
- 5:20Speaker 3: a lot of different things for Steven mylam. I think
- 5:23Speaker 3: to come back and this was impossible five years ago,
- 5:25Speaker 3: So I'm glad.
- 5:25Speaker 6: It is now.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Like you either want to go to the minor leagues
- 5:28Speaker 4: where maybe the crowds aren't as big, or you want
- 5:31Speaker 4: to go to LSU where the fan base already treats
- 5:34Speaker 4: you like you're a professional player in the MLB, like
- 5:36Speaker 4: the way that LSU baseball fans respond to the players
- 5:40Speaker 4: and the team and everything. Like I would want to
- 5:42Speaker 4: come back and play another my senior season. Like it's
- 5:45Speaker 4: not like he's red shirting or asking for an extra year.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Like this is a senior year. It's four years. It's
- 5:53Speaker 4: like normal to do you know, maybe not now, but
- 5:56Speaker 4: you do get it. Sorry, what I was gonna say,
- 5:58Speaker 4: you got another outfielder from TWU lane Jason I think
- 6:01Speaker 4: walks is how you say it. He's from South Florida.
- 6:05Speaker 4: But again, the best hitter on TWU Lane's team last
- 6:08Speaker 4: season hit three twenty seven with nine home runs, led
- 6:12Speaker 4: the team in batting, home runs, doubles, RBI, and walks.
- 6:16Speaker 4: So really good get from the portal for your outfield
- 6:20Speaker 4: from Jay Johnson and doing work in there. And we
- 6:22Speaker 4: were talking about this is not the what happened last
- 6:26Speaker 4: season is not gonna happen again because Jay Johnson, for
- 6:29Speaker 4: number one, like I fully trust him, and I trust
- 6:32Speaker 4: the staff as well. But also LSU has proven that
- 6:34Speaker 4: they're gonna throw money at anything to win, and Jay
- 6:37Speaker 4: Johnson's approven winner, and I think you can tell that
- 6:41Speaker 4: they're throwing money at these kids like Steven Mylan probably
- 6:44Speaker 4: got a bag. Yeah, let's be real, Cad Curlin probably
- 6:47Speaker 4: got a bag.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So they're gonna happen to at least twenty twenty eight.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Right when when it's an even year, Yeah, because we're
- 6:54Speaker 4: only bad during even years. But I think right now,
- 6:57Speaker 4: on June fifteen, LSU run it back another national championship.
- 7:05Speaker 6: Let's go seven.
- 7:08Speaker 8: Getting walks is huge because I love Mason Brown at
- 7:11Speaker 8: first base. I know the staff wanted to put him
- 7:14Speaker 8: in the outfield. They tried it a little bit last year.
- 7:16Speaker 8: You tried that with Trey Morgan. You wound up moving
- 7:18Speaker 8: him back. I love Mason bron at first. He's the
- 7:20Speaker 8: number one first base when coming out of high school
- 7:22Speaker 8: last year. Like, some things are obvious. If it works,
- 7:25Speaker 8: keep him there with my with Jason Waks. Now you
- 7:27Speaker 8: have Walks, you have Bino Waters, who was the number
- 7:30Speaker 8: one player in the portal. And then if William Patrick
- 7:32Speaker 8: could take a step forward, they really like him as well.
- 7:34Speaker 8: So if that happens those three in the outfield, then
- 7:38Speaker 8: Braun Milom Curland Park, like your infield and outfield could
- 7:42Speaker 8: potentially be set. Like I love that signing because it
- 7:44Speaker 8: gives you versatility what you can do with Braun.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 7: Question, uh, yes, you were talking about getting back right. Okay,
- 7:53Speaker 7: So in football, those numbers get thrown out a lot
- 7:58Speaker 7: in the football and iled the portal. I don't really
- 8:01Speaker 7: remember ever even here, like an actual number for a
- 8:04Speaker 7: baseball player, Like what is a bag in college baseball?
- 8:07Speaker 4: I mean it's definitely not what you're getting in football.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Sort ok would be probably a bag in baseball?
- 8:12Speaker 2: Rent Yeah, Okay, I don't know.
- 8:14Speaker 5: I think that's just a guess.
- 8:15Speaker 7: I mean, I know the the amount of money is
- 8:18Speaker 7: way less to give out, but the amount of players
- 8:20Speaker 7: is way less as well.
- 8:21Speaker 4: So I don't know enough about that to give you
- 8:24Speaker 4: a good answer, but.
- 8:25Speaker 7: It's it is kind of funny how in one sport
- 8:26Speaker 7: the number is like that's one of the first things.
- 8:28Speaker 7: It's like the second like so and so signs with us,
- 8:32Speaker 7: he got this amount of money. Yeah, that's like the
- 8:34Speaker 7: news and baseball is just like always signed who's coming back,
- 8:37Speaker 7: and you never hear the dollar amount.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I guess it's just not like I would assume, it's
- 8:44Speaker 2: not even close.
- 8:44Speaker 7: Like there's so much less money to give in baseball
- 8:47Speaker 7: than there is football. Yeah, there's less people, but there's
- 8:50Speaker 7: only a certain amount of people in football that actually
- 8:52Speaker 7: right a big amount.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Now, I think your lineup is pretty much you went
- 8:57Speaker 4: and got what you needed. Now pitching, you probably should
- 9:00Speaker 4: do a little more work there in terms of like
- 9:02Speaker 4: the bullpen and Rizzy's going to ole miss which I
- 9:06Speaker 4: don't really care. I mean, whatever it might because the
- 9:09Speaker 4: picture is him.
- 9:11Speaker 3: You waited for a long time for him to do
- 9:13Speaker 3: what you thought, yeah, get some command.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Never got it. His profile picture is him kissing a
- 9:17Speaker 4: national championship trophy that he won at l s U
- 9:20Speaker 4: the same day that he committed Ole Miss got bounced
- 9:23Speaker 4: by Troy, So I don't really care.
- 9:25Speaker 8: Guarantee you old Miss fans are gonna be like, damn it,
- 9:28Speaker 8: we stole another one from l s U.
- 9:29Speaker 5: How do we keep winning?
- 9:31Speaker 6: Take them?
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:32Speaker 6: Ah, like a tombstone.
- 9:34Speaker 2: You know, well that the Canada of the SEC.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Fill in the chat says monster probably got like five
- 9:43Speaker 4: hundred K. I would guess it's something like that or
- 9:45Speaker 4: close to that, which is.
- 9:48Speaker 2: It is kind of funny that you don't hear the
- 9:50Speaker 2: number though.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I think it's just and respectfully because we love it
- 9:54Speaker 3: here and it's a.
- 9:55Speaker 6: Lot, it's just not the same. Yeah, it doesn't like
- 9:58Speaker 6: somebody that's in Wisconsin right now.
- 10:00Speaker 3: If you put out a Stephen Mylum story, they're not
- 10:02Speaker 3: clicking on it. Now you put it out the Middle Coast,
- 10:06Speaker 3: people are clicking on It's just But if a Wisconsin
- 10:10Speaker 3: quarterback got a bag, somebody Louisian's clicking on that. So
- 10:13Speaker 3: I think that's just there. I think it's just the
- 10:15Speaker 3: college baseball where we're at. It is major it's big time.
- 10:19Speaker 3: It's everybody's involved, everybody's in. But across the country it's
- 10:23Speaker 3: not the same. So we don't not that we don't
- 10:25Speaker 3: care about the numbers, but the country doesn't care about
- 10:27Speaker 3: the numbers like they do with what a quarterback got
- 10:29Speaker 3: when he signed with that.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Sure, I get that, but it's still feel like it's
- 10:33Speaker 7: still reportable.
- 10:36Speaker 4: I'd like to know, I mean, all of the numbers.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Even though everybody's making.
- 10:43Speaker 6: I can ask them, now, would I get that?
- 10:46Speaker 7: It should be a published ardor again, be a baseball writer.
- 10:50Speaker 7: I just tell everybody how much everybody makes.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I'm a d M. Stephen and be like, hey, how
- 10:53Speaker 4: much are you get in come back?
- 10:54Speaker 2: How much you get? We need to report on it.
- 10:57Speaker 8: We need to report on You'll love this you got
- 10:59Speaker 8: Stephen loves to rip cards.
- 11:01Speaker 6: I did see that with Terrio. Yep, I do like that.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Miss Terio probably doesn't love the fact that I think
- 11:09Speaker 3: we kind of started Brian's No.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I think I think I think she.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Likes oh, she likes to oh even at.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Cards.
- 11:18Speaker 3: That's awesome because we were showing the scow in one time.
- 11:21Speaker 3: We're like, hey, no, here's how you do it. Blah,
- 11:23Speaker 3: blah blah, and then he started doing it over at
- 11:25Speaker 3: Perish and they sort of ripped cards.
- 11:27Speaker 2: And today I.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Just had my one year anniversary of being on card breaks.
- 11:33Speaker 3: They gave me like an alert and I'm like, you
- 11:35Speaker 3: were tea Bob's going away party.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's right, Lynn did it.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Y'all were like in the corner watching somebody do a
- 11:42Speaker 4: live break speaking of speaking of.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I was like, this is what happened, Purple.
- 11:49Speaker 4: I walked over there and I was like, are y'all
- 11:50Speaker 4: yeah doing cards?
- 11:52Speaker 6: Sorry? We love you?
- 11:53Speaker 4: So you so you sent Matt, You sent that video
- 11:58Speaker 4: of the Caleb Willian last night. So I'm wondering should
- 12:03Speaker 4: I should you invest invest in the Kayleb Williams card?
- 12:07Speaker 4: But should I sell the Wimby card?
- 12:09Speaker 7: Not?
- 12:09Speaker 6: Now if you would have done it before the finals.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Like buy the Wimby card and invest in a Caleb
- 12:15Speaker 4: Williams one.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Now at this point of laundre, that Wimby card it's
- 12:18Speaker 3: a rookie, right, yeah, you're just it's unlicensed.
- 12:22Speaker 2: So I mean.
- 12:24Speaker 6: You're gonna you're not going to ever lose money on that.
- 12:26Speaker 6: You're only going to gain money.
- 12:28Speaker 4: He's gonna Okay, So how do I get Williams.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Times get tough. Yeah, Like, hey, y'all, I gotta.
- 12:33Speaker 4: I gotta, I gotta pay my rent.
- 12:35Speaker 7: Well, you can tell us what your budget is. Okay,
- 12:37Speaker 7: then we could do the research for you. Okay, I
- 12:40Speaker 7: could find you deal.
- 12:41Speaker 4: What is a reasonable budget?
- 12:44Speaker 3: Uh?
- 12:44Speaker 6: How much dollar?
- 12:45Speaker 2: Looking into five hundred thousand.
- 12:47Speaker 5: It depends on how good of a card.
- 12:49Speaker 4: My budget's five hundred thousand.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Okay, you got it.
- 12:52Speaker 6: It just depends on how how in you want to
- 12:55Speaker 6: be in this card.
- 12:56Speaker 4: I just want how much money you want to make
- 12:58Speaker 4: a million dollars?
- 12:59Speaker 5: All right, Well, so you got to get the high
- 13:02Speaker 5: end card.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah, cost money to make money.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Scare money, don't make money? Oh what Billy Napier said.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It didn't look out well for Billy, but he said it.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It is fun. We can get your card. We get you.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, okay, we got you.
- 13:17Speaker 6: We'll start looking at here in the break.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yay.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I'm in purple shock, anybody, So I'm rasking.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Nobody knows what that means better for us that that
- 13:27Speaker 3: cuts Steve, But soon, al, I'm just gonna know.
- 13:30Speaker 2: What that means.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Someone of the Chad just said, I'd get it. Get
- 13:32Speaker 7: you a greater card, get great of a p s A.
- 13:35Speaker 7: Don't create a PSA right now.
- 13:36Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, you might have to get once already great.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you might might need to wait on that one.
- 13:40Speaker 4: It's already out of sight, out of mind though, like
- 13:41Speaker 4: it's in a drawer somewhere.
- 13:43Speaker 3: We haven't Why yes, he because they have so many
- 13:47Speaker 3: orders fifteen million card back orders.
- 13:51Speaker 6: It took.
- 13:51Speaker 7: So they have like tiers, like they have the cheaper
- 13:54Speaker 7: tier that's like takes like four or five months to
- 13:56Speaker 7: get it back. Then the price goes up increment lya.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Pay a little bit. So I was like, oh, maybe
- 14:03Speaker 5: it just calls a lot now, but no, they're just
- 14:05Speaker 5: like backed way up.
- 14:06Speaker 7: So they're first the cheaper like I think four or
- 14:09Speaker 7: five tiers they just did away with for right now
- 14:11Speaker 7: because they had a ten million card backlog, and then
- 14:15Speaker 7: they said we're getting rid of it in four days,
- 14:18Speaker 7: and so everyone submitted a ton of cards and that
- 14:21Speaker 7: four days before they got rid of like the cheaper option.
- 14:25Speaker 2: And now there's a fifteen million card backlog at PSA.
- 14:29Speaker 7: And I think like some people are getting their card,
- 14:32Speaker 7: like they're they're getting submitted and they've been received by
- 14:35Speaker 7: PSA and they're not getting their cards back to.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Like January or February.
- 14:39Speaker 7: Yeah, so pretty well, I was one of those.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I've submitted like forty cards. I sent the email.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm surprised that there hasn't been like another grading
- 14:50Speaker 3: system that's kind of just tried to.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Like they're trying. I think.
- 14:53Speaker 7: I know they have the other ones that are reputable,
- 14:55Speaker 7: but there's just I don't know something about that PSA lab.
- 15:02Speaker 2: They got a stranglehold.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Oh that's a good song.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I like figure it out though, right, that's how
- 15:12Speaker 3: I that's my yes, figuring out like hire more people,
- 15:16Speaker 3: open up locations.
- 15:17Speaker 6: You have a great desire, and I get like.
- 15:20Speaker 3: There's like, oh it's there's fifteen million backup, Like now
- 15:23Speaker 3: we gotta get like we can't run.
- 15:24Speaker 7: Even more important, you can't rush the training of the
- 15:26Speaker 7: graters because then it is the integrity.
- 15:29Speaker 6: I get all that, but come on, this is twenty
- 15:31Speaker 6: twenty six. Figure it out.
- 15:32Speaker 2: They got it.
- 15:33Speaker 6: You would make a killing a killing.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Like even more so if you had like good customer
- 15:38Speaker 3: service and you figured it out and everything was a
- 15:40Speaker 3: quick process. They got ai. You could should be three
- 15:43Speaker 3: week turnarounds. I think three weeks is Okay, okay, it
- 15:46Speaker 3: for three weeks. Yeah, I send it in by the
- 15:48Speaker 3: time it.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Gets fifteen million in three weeks, we can do the
- 15:51Speaker 7: math on that. How many, say greaters? It would take
- 15:53Speaker 7: working around the clock.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I was saying, like in general, but yeah, we can't
- 15:57Speaker 3: do the math. I was saying, like it should be
- 15:58Speaker 3: a three week process.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Up.
- 16:00Speaker 6: Hey, I'm sending this into PSA.
- 16:02Speaker 3: You've got ten days, fifteen days to study this card,

- 16:13Speaker 7: a couple of rites, that's fine.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm with you, But something like now you're paying
- 16:19Speaker 3: sometimes you're paying like what the card's worth in the
- 16:24Speaker 3: totality just for grading. How much is this really? Like?
- 16:28Speaker 6: What if I get an eight?
- 16:30Speaker 2: They just crack it on this card? I know.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Anyways, Sorry, sorry, cards Whipsie. We're gonna get a laundry

- 19:33Speaker 3: I understand.
- 19:34Speaker 6: Look, you don't want to go in. You're waiting for
- 19:36Speaker 6: like an hour.
- 19:36Speaker 3: The bloodwork takes thirty minutes, and all of a sudden
- 19:39Speaker 3: you're in two hours.
- 19:40Speaker 6: That's not the case.
- 19:41Speaker 3: You're in, you're out. It's a five minute process. Once
- 19:44Speaker 3: you go back, you don't wait long to even go back.
- 19:46Speaker 3: And again, it's so easy. I did it with my
- 19:48Speaker 3: daughter on my lap. We were in, we were out.
- 19:50Speaker 6: The consultation was five to ten minutes.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Like once we got everything figured out and got on
- 19:55Speaker 3: a plan, it got shipped right to my house.
- 19:57Speaker 6: Incredibly easy. Go see them today.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Com All right, let's get to some weekend winners.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That's how win it has done.
- 20:08Speaker 4: That's right. We can't have anyone to freak out out there.
- 20:11Speaker 8: Okay, he's got a k bark apologer, got too far.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I'm by winning. I went here and I win there. Now,
- 20:19Speaker 2: what are you doing?
- 20:20Speaker 3: What it takes to win a championship?
- 20:24Speaker 2: Wow? Winning? Well, then I guess there's only one thing
- 20:27Speaker 2: left to do.
- 20:30Speaker 5: What's that.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Win the whole thing? All right?
- 20:37Speaker 3: First weekend winner. Surprise, surprise, the New York Knickerbockers. They
- 20:42Speaker 3: win an NBA championship. It has been over fifty years
- 20:45Speaker 3: since they last won an NBA championship. There's been a
- 20:49Speaker 3: lot of lean years between that championship and this one.
- 20:53Speaker 3: They did make two final appearances ninety four to ninety nine,
- 20:55Speaker 3: but obviously they did not win in ninety four or
- 20:58Speaker 3: in ninety nine.
- 20:59Speaker 6: And this was one of the.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Most epic playoff runs that we've ever seen in NBA history.
- 21:04Speaker 3: They won fifteen of their last sixteen playoff games. After
- 21:08Speaker 3: they lost Game three to the Hawks, it was actually CJ.
- 21:12Speaker 6: McCullum that hit the shot one nine to one oh eight.
- 21:15Speaker 3: After that, they rally off again, one of the most
- 21:18Speaker 3: impressive runs that you will ever see, and they also
- 21:21Speaker 3: did it with their best.
- 21:22Speaker 6: Player being, as Jordan would say, a small boy.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Jalen Brunson went out there when everybody said, it was
- 21:28Speaker 3: Becky Hammond that said you can't win if your best
- 21:31Speaker 3: player is not somebody that's got a little hype to them,
- 21:34Speaker 3: and she listed John Stockton AI all right, some of
- 21:38Speaker 3: the best players that we have seen. Steve Nash was
- 21:41Speaker 3: thrown into that group as well, and she did mention
- 21:43Speaker 3: she says Steph Curry's different, and he is.
- 21:45Speaker 6: He's a unicorn.
- 21:46Speaker 3: But that was something that a lot of Nick fans
- 21:48Speaker 3: used as motivation in this series. And remember when Jalen
- 21:52Speaker 3: Brunton signed with the Knicks, everybody clowned the contract, including
- 21:56Speaker 3: X fan Steven A. Smith, a lot of them. I
- 21:58Speaker 3: mean they showed the highlight light of everybody's reaction there
- 22:01Speaker 3: said there's too much money for Jalen Brunson, and Jalen
- 22:04Speaker 3: Brunson has since proved them wrong, obviously in that four year,
- 22:07Speaker 3: one hundred and plus million dollar contract, but also he
- 22:11Speaker 3: took less money. He left over one hundred million dollars
- 22:14Speaker 3: on the table for the Knicks to be able to
- 22:17Speaker 3: go sign other free agents, make other moves through trades,
- 22:19Speaker 3: be able to pay contracts, and so the Knicks Yes,
- 22:22Speaker 3: Week in Winter. But Jalen Brunson, I think a lot
- 22:25Speaker 3: of people, if you didn't know him before, you know
- 22:27Speaker 3: him now. And he's an incredible story, A very humble
- 22:30Speaker 3: young man enjoyed watching every moment of that Week in Winner.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Jalen Brunson in the Knicks.
- 22:36Speaker 7: All right, my weekend Winter, I would last night. I
- 22:43Speaker 7: didn't know how it was going to feel, or how
- 22:45Speaker 7: the scenes were going to be live from the White
- 22:48Speaker 7: House at the UFC event, But my god, if you
- 22:52Speaker 7: watched it and came away anything less than impressed with
- 22:55Speaker 7: the scenes, the scenery, the patriotism, just the pomp and
- 22:59Speaker 7: so circumstance around everything. Weekend Winner goes to Dana White
- 23:04Speaker 7: and the UFC, the White House like that whole production
- 23:07Speaker 7: of everything, everything from getting a damn bald eagle to
- 23:10Speaker 7: fly around, the Blue Angels, all the different flyovers, the fireworks,
- 23:15Speaker 7: the Medal of Honor recipients walking out, all the fighter
- 23:20Speaker 7: like everything that went around, the videos that they were showing,
- 23:23Speaker 7: the soldiers and they air men and people from all
- 23:27Speaker 7: over the military were there and saluting the fighters, like,
- 23:30Speaker 7: everything that went around it Like it was like, I
- 23:34Speaker 7: don't know if you could find somebody, even if it
- 23:36Speaker 7: was like somebody that's against whatever your political affiliation was,
- 23:40Speaker 7: like you could at least watch that and appreciate the
- 23:42Speaker 7: spectacle that it was. Now again, I didn't know how
- 23:44Speaker 7: I was going to feel about it. I was like,
- 23:45Speaker 7: they're doing what that's the White House? That doesn't this
- 23:48Speaker 7: seems a little.
- 23:48Speaker 6: How's it going to set up?
- 23:50Speaker 7: It easily could have been a cringey type situation that
- 23:55Speaker 7: went on, but it wasn't. I thought it was the
- 23:57Speaker 7: opposite of it. I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the broadcast.
- 24:00Speaker 7: The fights ended up being really good weekend winner for me.
- 24:06Speaker 7: UFC fight the whole thing at the White House, I think.
- 24:08Speaker 7: I thought it was very well done and kudos to
- 24:11Speaker 7: them like it. I know there was a ton of
- 24:13Speaker 7: people there. I couldn't be one of those people that
- 24:15Speaker 7: were just like jam packed like it was Woodstock watching
- 24:18Speaker 7: it on the screen, not even be able to see
- 24:20Speaker 7: the real fight. But my god, did they do it
- 24:22Speaker 7: like everything, like the people sitting there with the Washington
- 24:25Speaker 7: Monument in the background and they had like a rainbow
- 24:28Speaker 7: and lightning striking like it was all really just really
- 24:31Speaker 7: cool scene.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I thought that.
- 24:32Speaker 6: I think all four of us would sign it was awesome.
- 24:36Speaker 5: It was awesome.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but I saw.
- 24:40Speaker 6: The replay is going to hit down? Yeah watch it.
- 24:42Speaker 7: And in a little side Sunday uh yeah, maybe not
- 24:46Speaker 7: to do a Sunday made a laundra almost like because
- 24:49Speaker 7: she slept through the last five fights.
- 24:52Speaker 6: A little.
- 24:56Speaker 7: Side weekend winner for me as well. Elon Musk, you
- 24:58Speaker 7: became the first trillionaire. Net worth my god, that's all
- 25:02Speaker 7: I say. Net worth, My god, is that a lot?
- 25:06Speaker 2: And again your net worth is something somebody would like
- 25:08Speaker 2: pay for.
- 25:10Speaker 7: Like you know, he estimated stock in SpaceX after the
- 25:14Speaker 7: I p O at the end of last Week's like
- 25:15Speaker 7: eight hundred and sixty six million or billion dollars. Excuse me,
- 25:19Speaker 7: eight six billion. Something's only worth what somebody would pay
- 25:23Speaker 7: for it. I don't know if we all put our
- 25:25Speaker 7: money together and on planet Earth, can we even like
- 25:27Speaker 7: buy them out?
- 25:28Speaker 6: Like I don't.
- 25:29Speaker 3: You can buy every NFL, MLB, NBA Champions League.
- 25:36Speaker 6: It was like all these things. Yeah, NHL, like every
- 25:39Speaker 6: major of every sport that you love. He could buy
- 25:42Speaker 6: every team in that league right now.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Please don't.
- 25:45Speaker 7: He's estimated net worth of one point one one trillion dollars,
- 25:49Speaker 7: and don't underestimate that point one one either.
- 25:53Speaker 5: That's still like one hundred billion.
- 25:55Speaker 2: That's one hundred and billion.
- 25:57Speaker 6: Yeah, it was he's doing.
- 26:00Speaker 7: Okay, a lot of a lot of when you throw
- 26:02Speaker 7: that tea word around, a lot of a lot of
- 26:05Speaker 7: a lot of numbers get missed in that decimal point.
- 26:07Speaker 4: It's a lot of it's a lot of numbers. I
- 26:10Speaker 4: saw a tweet this weekend that was like, we're all
- 26:12Speaker 4: closer to Jeff bezos net worth than Jeff Bezos is
- 26:15Speaker 4: to Elon Musk's networth.
- 26:18Speaker 7: I'd like to see is his net worth after the
- 26:21Speaker 7: decimal points? The second richest person in the world after
- 26:26Speaker 7: the decimal point.
- 26:27Speaker 8: I don't know, well he is no, because there's there's
- 26:32Speaker 8: somebody get it over all hundred billion, right, I don't know.
- 26:38Speaker 4: My weekend winter. To me, it's looking like Georgia is
- 26:42Speaker 4: very unstoppable. I thought the one team that could stop
- 26:46Speaker 4: him is maybe Texas. Texas did not. I mean, they're
- 26:48Speaker 4: gonna have to.
- 26:51Speaker 3: This.
- 26:51Speaker 4: I don't know where we're at in the tournament right now,
- 26:53Speaker 4: Like Texas plays again right here because they that was
- 26:58Speaker 4: the single and then they throw out Dylan Valantis, who
- 27:02Speaker 4: is insane, like an insanely good pitcher. But we can
- 27:06Speaker 4: win it. For me, Joey Volchko, he pitched a complete game.
- 27:10Speaker 4: I feel like there's always in Omaha, there's always a
- 27:14Speaker 4: performance like that. I mean, Kate Anderson. Last season, Ty
- 27:17Speaker 4: Floyd had seventeen strikeouts at one time versus Florida, but
- 27:22Speaker 4: Joey Vulchko nine innings, pitched a complete game, fifteen strikeouts,
- 27:27Speaker 4: gave up four hits, only one earned run, only one
- 27:31Speaker 4: walk given up in his nine innings so we can
- 27:35Speaker 4: win it for me. Joey Bulchko, I think Georgia's gonna
- 27:37Speaker 4: win the entire thing, But I thought Texas was gonna
- 27:43Speaker 4: be like if you got to get through Texas. And
- 27:45Speaker 4: they got through Texas. They got through their best pitcher too, so.
- 27:52Speaker 6: They had one.
- 27:52Speaker 3: They had a home run they like hit the foul
- 27:54Speaker 3: pole and people thought it was in play. And I'm
- 27:57Speaker 3: just sitting there thinking, the Georgia player that hit a
- 27:59Speaker 3: head be like, man, that's in the trees in our park.
- 28:03Speaker 6: What's going on here on the pines? Yeah? Yeah, But Georgia,
- 28:06Speaker 6: I mean credit to them. They look the part right
- 28:08Speaker 6: now of.
- 28:09Speaker 4: The Nashville and that's that was the knock that people
- 28:11Speaker 4: had on them, is like, they play in a small park,
- 28:13Speaker 4: so is that going to travel? It traveled it did?
- 28:15Speaker 4: They they can hit. And Hunt was saying like, I
- 28:18Speaker 4: think Ole Miss is gonna win it all Georgia hits.
- 28:20Speaker 4: But I know how.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Charles that man sat there on Thursday and said it's
- 28:24Speaker 3: all Miss.
- 28:24Speaker 6: They got multiple.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Pictures and he's like, I know how Charles Schwab plays.
- 28:28Speaker 4: George is not gonna be able to hit in that field.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Blah blah, blah. I'm like, no, no, no, Georgia's a good team period,
- 28:34Speaker 4: no matter where you're playing at.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I give him a lot of credit.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I agree with that.
- 28:37Speaker 4: I mean, if Georgia wins the national Championship, they can
- 28:41Speaker 4: thank Jay Johnson for that. Wes Johnson learned under jeure,
- 28:48Speaker 4: you're welcome, You're welcome for West It's.
- 28:50Speaker 6: Right, that's right, all right, Yeah we can win it
- 28:53Speaker 6: for me.
- 28:55Speaker 5: The Knicks are not the only ones that won a
- 28:56Speaker 5: championship over the weekend.
- 28:57Speaker 8: The Carolina Hurricanes, which I'm not a big NHL fan,
- 29:02Speaker 8: that finals was was was really good.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 8: I tuned into it. Uh Game six last night, three nothing.
- 29:10Speaker 8: Carolina Hurricanes h to take it home. Second championship in
- 29:15Speaker 8: franchise history, but it's been over twenty years since their
- 29:18Speaker 8: last one, and so big time moment for them.
- 29:20Speaker 5: So shout out Carolina Hurricanes. Stanley Cup champs.
- 29:25Speaker 3: In Raleigh, North Carolina too, not Charlotte. Lot of people
- 29:27Speaker 3: think that's a Charlotte team. It's in Raleigh.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Yeah, they're small, small, small, small.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Maybe the smallest professional market outside of Green Bay, probably,
- 29:37Speaker 3: I would have to say it is probably this Columbus,
- 29:39Speaker 3: Ohio is way bigger than you think it is.
- 29:43Speaker 6: How me feel like?
- 29:43Speaker 2: Green Bay had bough not a lot. Thanks.
- 29:48Speaker 7: Actually, I actually think it's close to one hundred k.
- 29:50Speaker 7: But I think they're juicing those numbers.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Oh really that small. I was thinking like two hundred.
- 29:58Speaker 7: I don't know, No, it's not two hundred now, the
- 30:00Speaker 7: surrounded area, I mean, there's kind of what makes up
- 30:03Speaker 7: that population.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Like when I lived there, I lived in the pier. Yeah,
- 30:07Speaker 2: a lot of people lived in Howard.
- 30:09Speaker 3: One hundred and six thousand people in Green Bay. The
- 30:12Speaker 3: Metro's got three hundred and thirty five.
- 30:15Speaker 5: I mean Raleigh's five to sixteen.
- 30:19Speaker 6: Raley's what five sixteen? Oh that's bigger than I thought,
- 30:23Speaker 6: like in the city.
- 30:24Speaker 8: Yeah, so wow, the population of Raleigh, North Carolina is
- 30:27Speaker 8: five hundred and sixteen thousy.
- 30:31Speaker 5: It says, but the metro area one point six million.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Okay, well that's a that's a little bit like think
- 30:39Speaker 3: about that, like that's a little bit bigger.
- 30:42Speaker 6: Baton Metro is like close to nine hundred thousand.
- 30:45Speaker 7: Yeah, I didn't realize Better's metros eight hundred and seventy thousands.
- 30:48Speaker 4: All the cars in this tiny ass town. You didn't
- 30:51Speaker 4: think it was that many people, that's true to your point,
- 30:55Speaker 4: have so much traffic.
- 30:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 8: True, Columbus itself is almost a million and the metro
- 31:00Speaker 8: areas two point two.
- 31:01Speaker 6: It's a lot than Yeah. And of course the mayor
- 31:06Speaker 6: of Columbus is Bobby Carpenter.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Not really yeah, it kind of though, does whatever people
- 31:14Speaker 3: listen to him?
- 31:16Speaker 4: Uh.
- 31:16Speaker 6: Weekend winner for me is going to be just the
- 31:18Speaker 6: World Cup in general. I love it.
- 31:20Speaker 3: It's one of my favorite times of the year. No
- 31:22Speaker 3: matter when you lay down the couch, you turn it
- 31:24Speaker 3: on and there's a game. I I love the passion.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I love the national anthems. I love to see grown
- 31:32Speaker 3: man cry during the national anthem. I love to see
- 31:34Speaker 3: it in the game. I love to get are you
- 31:37Speaker 3: gonna move past that? Every time we bring it up?
- 31:39Speaker 3: You're gonna every time? Okay.
- 31:42Speaker 6: I love the passion that the fans have.
- 31:44Speaker 3: The United States men's national team fans, they showed out
- 31:47Speaker 3: as well.
- 31:48Speaker 6: They packed the stadium.
- 31:49Speaker 3: The march to the stadium was awesome, and uh it again,
- 31:52Speaker 3: anytime team USA is playing like it's gonna be must
- 31:55Speaker 3: watch TV.
- 31:56Speaker 6: But for me, being a soccer fan, I love it.
- 31:58Speaker 6: But not just the US games.
- 31:59Speaker 3: I love, like I said, just seeing what it really
- 32:02Speaker 3: means to someone to represent their country. We played the
- 32:05Speaker 3: only sport that you can go professional in that you
- 32:08Speaker 3: don't have that opportunity to play for your country. That
- 32:11Speaker 3: kind of sucks. So it is good to see that.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I love to see it. I look forward to it
- 32:15Speaker 3: every four years. So I'm gonna sit down and I'll
- 32:18Speaker 3: watch it all day today and then until it ends.
- 32:23Speaker 6: Anymore.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Mm hmm ye.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Yes.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Even though I love Ilia Taporia, I gotta give a
- 32:32Speaker 4: week in winter justin Gaichee. That was I mean, I
- 32:34Speaker 4: love Gaichee too, but Taporia has just been one of
- 32:37Speaker 4: the most entertaining fighters in the UFC right now. So
- 32:42Speaker 4: it was.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Weird hearing it here his name pronounced like.
- 32:43Speaker 4: That, gai Chi that's his name.
- 32:48Speaker 2: All right, this feels weird.
- 32:49Speaker 4: But what did you think it was?
- 32:52Speaker 5: But just silent jay everything else?
- 32:56Speaker 6: Why are you going, Bubba Watson?
- 32:58Speaker 2: I'm just so excited to do it.
- 32:59Speaker 5: Look, I would unbutton it. Yeah, personally, I mean people
- 33:04Speaker 5: do it.
- 33:04Speaker 7: Yeah, a lot of kids are the youth that a
- 33:08Speaker 7: lot of the youths do it.
- 33:09Speaker 2: All the way.
- 33:10Speaker 4: You look like you're about to tell me. Shush girl,
- 33:12Speaker 4: shush your lips.
- 33:15Speaker 2: We're gonna rock it for like at least a segment
- 33:16Speaker 2: or shot.
- 33:17Speaker 6: See how okay, we'll say it feels. It's not gonna change,
- 33:20Speaker 6: but we'll see it feels.
- 33:20Speaker 5: I hate it.
- 33:23Speaker 7: It's not a great look. I hate it so much.
- 33:28Speaker 7: Try to say that in two segments, you'll get used
- 33:31Speaker 7: to it.
- 33:36Speaker 6: You ask them what one piece is A is a anime?
- 33:39Speaker 2: Okay?
- 33:40Speaker 6: My fourteen year old used to be into it.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Really yea interesting.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Anigger than people realize. Oh yeah, soccer. Bring it back
- 33:50Speaker 3: to Cards Bowman twenty twenty six. They've got anime cards
- 33:54Speaker 3: of like the top guys and they're like the top
- 33:56Speaker 3: hit from that.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's like the like that mangle it. Yeah.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Right again, we just found ourselves talking about things nobody
- 34:08Speaker 3: else knows what we're talking about. All Right, we'll take
- 34:10Speaker 3: a break. We got more OTB coming right back. Your ways,
- 34:13Speaker 3: stay locked in. We're here live from the Raisin Kaanes Studio.
- 34:17Speaker 3: All right, go to get Gordon dot Com, Get Gordon.
- 34:19Speaker 6: And get it done.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Locations throughout the state of Louisiana. Funny enough, we did
- 34:25Speaker 3: play a team from Deritter huh and Daphney I'll be
- 34:31Speaker 3: I was like, if you only knew how many times
- 34:33Speaker 3: I say de Ritor. Why do you say to Ritor?
- 34:34Speaker 3: Because if you're into Ritor, the G team can help
- 34:37Speaker 3: it out. Indurritor, in tree Fort, in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Homa.
- 34:41Speaker 3: It does not matter. You put your area code followed
- 34:43Speaker 3: by the eight eight eight eighty eight eighty eight.
- 34:46Speaker 6: Get Gordon and get it done, sor.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Right, be a part of the G team.
- 34:50Speaker 7: You've seen all the awesome work Gordon mccurnis done with
- 34:53Speaker 7: LSU athletics and everything. You see the work that he
- 34:55Speaker 7: does in the community. But if you have been injured,
- 34:59Speaker 7: give him a call. Orton mccurrent injury attorneys. You know,
- 35:02Speaker 7: car accident, injured on the job side, it doesn't really matter.
- 35:05Speaker 7: Make sure you give them called. Make sure it's your
- 35:07Speaker 7: first call. Eight eight eight eight eight eight eight. Get
- 35:10Speaker 7: that G guarantee? What's that G guarantee? Well, when they
- 35:13Speaker 7: fight for you, you don't pay unless you win.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Right over there a get Gordon dot com.
- 35:18Speaker 5: You kidn't MESSI and she loves me. Maybe you would understand.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Why up you this Swiss.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Off the bench with Hester and Flynn presented by Buyu Automotive.
- 35:38Speaker 4: If you kid don't see.
- 35:42Speaker 8: Her eyes can be when she says, when she says,
- 35:50Speaker 8: she loves me.
- 36:03Speaker 6: The way you got jars.
- 36:08Speaker 5: And you've got you.
- 36:13Speaker 6: All right, Welcome back in OTB.
- 36:15Speaker 3: A couple of things I forgot to get to and
- 36:17Speaker 3: weekend winners and losers one to loser one I want
- 36:20Speaker 3: to put up to the room for a vote because
- 36:22Speaker 3: I feel a certain type of way, but I don't
- 36:24Speaker 3: know how the masses feel.
- 36:27Speaker 6: So weekend loser.
- 36:29Speaker 3: For baseball fields having scoreboards in the outfield that nobody runs.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I go to all these tournaments and they have the scoreboards.
- 36:38Speaker 3: We're like, you have to physically, but they're never on, never,
- 36:43Speaker 3: and everybody's like, hey, what's the count, Hey, what's the score?
- 36:46Speaker 6: Hey what ending went?
- 36:47Speaker 3: If we just had a way to tell the people
- 36:49Speaker 3: and everybody's got the game changer, but it's like, yeah,
- 36:51Speaker 3: get your phone out, you got load, it's got to
- 36:52Speaker 3: catch up. It's like, I don't want to do that,
- 36:55Speaker 3: just go have one, like because at Daphney they had
- 36:57Speaker 3: them all and I was like, oh.
- 36:58Speaker 6: My god, yeah, this is incredible.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Like everybody knows the count, everybody knows the outs, everybody
- 37:02Speaker 3: knows everything. And it was a nine year old little
- 37:04Speaker 3: brother behind home plate running it. I'm like, see that's
- 37:07Speaker 3: what we used to do.
- 37:07Speaker 4: Yeah, you know how many run.
- 37:10Speaker 6: My brother's brother love. Its awesome. They're always off.
- 37:15Speaker 5: I feel like we never played.
- 37:16Speaker 6: Everybody has Nobody has them on.
- 37:19Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 37:19Speaker 6: Blows my mind.
- 37:20Speaker 4: T Tarlowe how to do it?
- 37:22Speaker 6: She probably did.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Yeah we can Winter Daphnese Sports Complex for having your
- 37:26Speaker 3: scoreboards on.
- 37:27Speaker 6: I hadn't seen it in like seven years. That's a
- 37:30Speaker 6: blown away.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Are you telling me you don't have the book and
- 37:33Speaker 4: you don't keep score That used to be my favorite.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Thing to do for the My mom used to keep
- 37:39Speaker 6: the book for like my game.
- 37:40Speaker 4: You still love doing that for me?
- 37:42Speaker 6: Uh, I'm in charge. Like pitch count. Oh yeah, so
- 37:45Speaker 6: I'm always tally pitchcount.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Pitchcount because you can only throw thirty five on one day,
- 37:49Speaker 3: like seventy five thirty five on one day if you
- 37:52Speaker 3: want to pitch the next day, seventy fives like the
- 37:54Speaker 3: most you can throw because like you know, you're trying
- 37:56Speaker 3: to save their arm, so it's important.
- 37:59Speaker 6: But yeah, just scoreboards. It was awesome.
- 38:01Speaker 3: So if you're listening to Louisiana or surrounding areas, just
- 38:04Speaker 3: light your scoreboards up. Have one of the little brothers,
- 38:06Speaker 3: little sisters on the team, run it. It's incredibly easy
- 38:09Speaker 3: and everybody knows.
- 38:10Speaker 6: What the count is. So that was one.
- 38:12Speaker 3: How do we feel about pick up players for like
- 38:16Speaker 3: a tournament? Now, stay with me, because if it's a
- 38:19Speaker 3: tournament where I'm like, hey, we know this going in,
- 38:22Speaker 3: we're picking four from here, four from here, four from here,
- 38:24Speaker 3: these twelve, we're gonna be this team that we made
- 38:27Speaker 3: up this team.
- 38:27Speaker 6: For this tournament. Yeah, yeah, let's do that.
- 38:30Speaker 3: But when you have like your normal team and then
- 38:33Speaker 3: you have three players that obviously are not on your
- 38:36Speaker 3: normal team, right, and you can always tell by the
- 38:39Speaker 3: batting helmet, yeah, whenever they got the different batting helmet. Oh,
- 38:43Speaker 3: they don't play for you normally. And everybody does this,
- 38:46Speaker 3: so I'm not calling like anyone. Like, we played a
- 38:48Speaker 3: team two weeks ago there was a kid with a
- 38:51Speaker 3: sharpied one on this jersey because there was two number
- 38:54Speaker 3: fives or fours or something, and they like sharpie to one.
- 38:57Speaker 6: I'm like, can we hide it a little bit?
- 39:00Speaker 3: And we played like a team yesterday where they had
- 39:02Speaker 3: two number fours and they were the same organization but
- 39:04Speaker 3: different jerseys. Yea, and they hit three home runs in
- 39:07Speaker 3: the game and they were bombs kids. I mean one
- 39:10Speaker 3: kid hit an opposite field home run. I'm like, I'm
- 39:12Speaker 3: I'm I got to clap that, because right they were
- 39:16Speaker 3: all pick up players. It's not like.
- 39:18Speaker 8: Whether whether it's whether it's universal or not, like play
- 39:21Speaker 8: the guys that are on your Like.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Again, if if you go in and it's like, we're
- 39:24Speaker 3: gonna take this badass team, these three teams that we
- 39:27Speaker 3: can bind together to go play this one tournament.
- 39:29Speaker 6: We're gonna be team Baton Rouge.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but what did the kids that like, because you
- 39:35Speaker 3: pay a lot of money for travel ball, Like when
- 39:38Speaker 3: you pick up players like that and they're hitting fourth
- 39:41Speaker 3: in your lineup and they're pitching, what about like.
- 39:46Speaker 4: So they're just picking them up for the weekend. It's
- 39:48Speaker 4: not like a situation where they're missing two kids because
- 39:51Speaker 4: they're on vacation or whatever, so on the bench. Still, Yeah, okay,
- 39:54Speaker 4: so that's stupid. Yeah, Like I thought you meant like,
- 39:59Speaker 4: we have kids out on vacation, so I need to
- 40:01Speaker 4: pick two players from the Like they're just sticking.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Them right up and they're like that's and they had
- 40:07Speaker 3: three pick up players and we were up in the
- 40:10Speaker 3: last inning and all three credit to them.
- 40:12Speaker 6: Again, I'm not mad at the kid. They came they
- 40:14Speaker 6: hit bombs.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Why is that allowed?
- 40:16Speaker 6: I don't know. It's within the rules. Nobody's cheating. It's
- 40:20Speaker 6: within the rules of the rule.
- 40:22Speaker 4: But why, Yeah, that's kind of weird.
- 40:24Speaker 5: I told the kid that's.
- 40:25Speaker 8: Been on the team all year, and the coach is like, hey,
- 40:27Speaker 8: for this game, you're actually.
- 40:28Speaker 5: Gonna ride the pine.
- 40:29Speaker 6: Yeah, that's where.
- 40:32Speaker 8: He's gonna step in the line up, he's gonna play.
- 40:35Speaker 8: I'm like, okay, Braxton's pitching today.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Typically, like if you, like a Launder said, if you're sick,
- 40:42Speaker 3: if you're missing a player. One of the teams that
- 40:46Speaker 3: were on we only have ten and most teams have eleven.
- 40:50Speaker 3: And sometimes on the weekend, when you only have ten
- 40:51Speaker 3: and you're counting pitches, you're.
- 40:53Speaker 6: Like gets a little hard.
- 40:55Speaker 3: So like maybe if that team wants to pick up
- 40:57Speaker 3: and the kid bats last, plays right field, and then
- 40:59Speaker 3: you come individual a little bit, okay, But it's like
- 41:02Speaker 3: when they're hitting forth and they're pitching and catching and knockout.
- 41:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know how that's crazy.
- 41:09Speaker 6: I don't think it's it's not really what we're going.
- 41:12Speaker 4: That's like you're taking it way too serious.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so all right, I just want to get the
- 41:18Speaker 3: rooms thoughts on that, because it's just like the more
- 41:21Speaker 3: and more baseball terms that go to him, like, man, okay,
- 41:23Speaker 3: well they got we played against that that that guy
- 41:26Speaker 3: and another team.
- 41:28Speaker 6: Again.
- 41:29Speaker 3: If you're putting together like an all star team to
- 41:31Speaker 3: go play like this massive national.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Yeah that makes sense. People do that all the time.
- 41:36Speaker 6: It's just weird when you're like part of an organization.
- 41:39Speaker 6: You got Sharpe Jersey, Yeah over here? All right? Did
- 41:44Speaker 6: Flunn die?
- 41:44Speaker 4: He might have?
- 41:45Speaker 3: He texted us, what do you say, Hey, Bud, are
- 41:50Speaker 3: you okay?
- 41:51Speaker 5: Matthew?
- 41:51Speaker 6: Were you looking at your top button to see how
- 41:53Speaker 6: good it was?
- 41:55Speaker 2: He was?
- 41:55Speaker 6: He was in there still the angles.
- 41:58Speaker 5: Unbuttoning about ten times.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Yes, nah, she's right, doesn't look good.
- 42:04Speaker 5: So you kept it?
- 42:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 42:06Speaker 8: No, I don't actually like it less, not even with
- 42:10Speaker 8: the backwards hat.
- 42:11Speaker 3: All right, last thing, The last thing I'll say about
- 42:13Speaker 3: the pick up player situation because I have to share
- 42:15Speaker 3: this with somebody. So we played a team out of
- 42:19Speaker 3: Florida the Panhandle. I heard the parents talking about I
- 42:25Speaker 3: wasn't trying to ear hustle. I was just sitting up
- 42:27Speaker 3: against the back of the fence and they were right
- 42:28Speaker 3: there and they were like, yeah, we got we flew in, like,
- 42:31Speaker 3: we got in from Ohio.
- 42:34Speaker 6: Tuesday night.
- 42:35Speaker 3: I'm sitting there, like, Ohio, this team in Florida picked
- 42:39Speaker 3: up a kid that lives in Ohio.
- 42:41Speaker 5: No way to find this kid.
- 42:44Speaker 6: That was my question, how do you even know this guy?
- 42:47Speaker 3: Like, yeah, we got in from Ohio on Tuesday night,
- 42:50Speaker 3: we flew into Pensacola.
- 42:51Speaker 6: We drove over and I'm like kind of ear Hustle,
- 42:54Speaker 6: and then I got my attention.
- 42:55Speaker 4: I'm like I would have turned around.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Y'all are playing on a team from the Panhandle of Florida.
- 43:00Speaker 3: You're from Ohio. One, How in the world does a
- 43:02Speaker 3: coach know you're any good?
- 43:03Speaker 5: Nation much money did.
- 43:05Speaker 6: This this cast for you to run?
- 43:07Speaker 8: Now to this little two World Series nationwide scouts.
- 43:11Speaker 7: Now, maybe maybe his parents took a job at Ohio
- 43:14Speaker 7: the last couple of months they just moved.
- 43:16Speaker 3: No, it didn't sound like that from the year hustle
- 43:18Speaker 3: I had. But again, everybody's doing it, so don't missed the.
- 43:23Speaker 6: Conversation asking any questions. I would have been like, hold up, wait,
- 43:28Speaker 6: a minute.
- 43:28Speaker 3: We got to take a break. More O t B
- 43:30Speaker 3: when we jump back on the other side. Here live
- 43:31Speaker 3: from the Raisin kne Studio.

- 44:21Speaker 3: take and so we'll talk about it some air. I
- 44:25Speaker 3: do like how Marlar trustes to bring like snacks to
- 44:28Speaker 3: like getting the good graces before he comes on.
- 44:31Speaker 6: No one, he's gonna have a bad take.
- 44:33Speaker 7: I got this step jerkey he just brought. I was
- 44:36Speaker 7: hungry though, so it was perfect timing. Got a fuel
- 44:39Speaker 7: of the machine, you know what I mean.
- 44:42Speaker 3: He's lost a lot of fuel, so I get it.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Is man.
- 44:52Speaker 6: Top buttons the same, it's not growing on. We gave
- 44:58Speaker 6: it a couple of segments.
- 44:58Speaker 5: I think the backwards happening.
- 45:00Speaker 2: It's the worse if Marlar comes in here and says
- 45:02Speaker 2: he likes it all.
- 45:03Speaker 4: I don't think again it's giving twenty ten.
- 45:07Speaker 5: He's gonna start doing it too.
