Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: time for the 49ers rush podcast.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: and here's your host, John Chapman.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: What is going on, faithful, it is great to be with you guys.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, not my traditional situation.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: I am on the road and Tucson, Arizona, as of this moment, the wife's cousins getting married.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: So the 40 hours didn't have a road trip, so get us some time with some family which is awesome and it's great that our Airbnb has green walls.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: It pops with the red skin.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, I was excited, you know, got off the plane.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: We drove down here and just glad to be with you guys.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want it to get in the way of our show for sure.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel bad because the goal was to record Thursday, but with the injuries, I just had to wait and see.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: So we got the final injury report for the 49ers and the Broncos, which is their injury report is almost non-existent.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not the biggest conspiracy theory or whatever theorist or whatever, but I remember being at the practice the joint practice last year and the Broncos actually stretch the actually stretch old school stretching.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: the $40 do not do that.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Not saying that's the reason why this happens or that happens and the Broncos practice hard in their old school with Sean Payton, but their injury report completely clean.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: We have guys Dante Pettis that couldn't even make it through one practice.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: Strains his calf, soft tissue, soft tissue, a lot of injuries you can kind of pass by and be like,
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: hamstring caps you cannot you cannot they are preventable they are all those things and the 49ers will not learn have not learned and we'll just continue doing what they do by the way we do have another player on the injury port chain doger according to God's head in doger those old players last name dugger is now shoulder injury you got hurt in practice so
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that the frustrations will continue.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: The injuries will continue until more out improves.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's just what it is.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, this is our 49ers Broncos.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: We force scouting report, preview, predictions, bets, all those different things.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: So excited about today's show.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: This is episode 1,735.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: of the 49ers horse podcast have to say thank you to Josh.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's the executive producer of this series.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: He crushed it.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: The notes are great.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to learn a lot about the Broncos.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get questions.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to answer those questions about the 49ers for sure, but this is going to be a little bit of a Broncos.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: The idea is when you walk away from today's show and you're watching the 49ers play on Sunday, you're going to see plays.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to see personnel.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to see scheme and you're going to be like, oh, that's what they're doing here.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: I completely understand what's
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: These are the keys to victory, these are the things where if they happen according to plan and the 49ers do this they should win and if the Broncos do this and the Broncos are going to win.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's the idea.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we're previewing the entire game for you.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Personal analytics, tendencies, scheme, coverage rates, you name it.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: We've got you covered today.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: So buckle up.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: and see in Seattle any rush flags still no rush flags I try to get an order in that would be here before this Seattle one could not get that one done so I didn't even put the order in on that one but we'll talk about that but can't wait.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Matthew the freaking man can't wait to hang out with you guys in Seattle and it's funny because like Seattle is going to be a blast and not only is math coming which he's worth the price in and of itself Ricky Waters is going to be there.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: Our whole team is going to be there 49ers rush road trip calm.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to go to Seattle.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: You got to come party with us.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: We got Ricky Waters the day before all Inclusive premium tailgate one block from the stadium.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: We do the chapters going to be there.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: We do an awesome walk to The stadium lumen right in the hour before kick off.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot freaking wait.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be incredible And I would argue the most important game left on the 49ers schedule
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue the most important game in the 49er schedule the entire year.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: All 17 games included.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: That one was number one.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: Right here.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: Do you love appreciation, man?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the super chat.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: He says, good job, John.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are the best.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: you're going to let me know in the comments.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the good news.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: Jed York is on IR for not injury, but a decision making and the good news is whenever Chad York returns does not cost an IR to return spot, which the 49ers are limited to.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Man, huge fine for $140 that is a huge fine, huge.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: But hopefully that gets in the past and all is mended and things go well for him and his family.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's fun to have a laugh sometimes and I mean, it is pretty conical, but at the end of the day, hope to family and everything does well and they rebound from this and all those things so I know we joke a lot on here.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's just who I am and sometimes I'll put jokes on social media that are going to offend certain people.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why some people just.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: have to be offended and I apologize, but not really going to change who I am.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to follow us on social media if those jokes that we make once every three weeks are a little rough, but I love you guys.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are awesome.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: I got some crazy e-bills.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's get to what's important.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about the Denver Broncos.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: They are two in one.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: And in third place in the AFC West, you have the Raiders and the Cheese who are playing each other this week, they're undefeated.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: The chargers, who's on the Skate Forty-Arounder's scheduled later down the road, oh and three, the Forty-Arounder's play all four of these teams this year.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: I love it when the AFC West and NFC West play just because the geographic tendencies, there's a lot of fan base carryover within the cities.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: I just like that things.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: only thing I don't like is Kansas City and I love the city hate the team.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Shenan's own five first Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chief since he's been the head coach here.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's frustrating.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: But then was excited.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: I want to grasp on Kansas City.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I was really excited about that trip, but they made it during Christmas.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: Hate that hate that hate that.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: This is a huge game for Denver because one of the chiefs or the Raiders is going to win just by definition.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: And if the Denver Broncos lose this, now there are two games behind the lead and what you could argue one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, like I do believe the NFC West and the AFC West are two of the top three you want to put the NFC North in that, I'm cool with that as well.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: Denver, this is huge, it's huge for the 49ers as well, if they want to stay in first place, obviously.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the Broncos did the 49ers huge favor in beating the Rams last week, 30 points in the second half alone to come back and win that game.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: And the Denver Broncos have not won, but two quality wins already this year.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: Beat the Jacksonville Jaguars who look like a stout team and beat the Rams.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: So the 49ers have one quality red.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: And that's against the range where they blew them out by 20 points.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: You do have two division wins, which is awesome.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that's quality, but Miami Dolphins do not count.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the Arizona Cardinals count as a quality win, even though they're in the division.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: But this front post team has been tested.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: They have played very, very well in moments.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: Consistency, not there.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: consistency, not there, but they are a good football team with a great roster and a good coaching staff.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: They just have not put together a complete game yet.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: Even that Jacksonville game that they won, their recorders were just like, do this team is terrible, but then a half of football where it's just like, okay, they're unstoppable.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: Are they going to get into that type of flow in this game?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: You got to control it yourself.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I would argue the 49ers are a better coach, better roster than the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Rans that was proven and Australia obviously.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: But this is a premium matchup.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like I did just a quick consensus poll on some power rankings.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: What I don't really put a lot of stock into if I'm going to be honest with you.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: But I just check like five sites.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: kind of national media sites.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: And both of these things, the Broncos and the 49ers are consensus top five in the NFL, right?
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously at the AFC Broncos, NFC 49ers.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is a huge game.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: This is a powerhouse team, but because it's cross-conference, it doesn't carry near as much weight in the tie breakers for playoff seating, divisional standards, standing's all those different things, but it matters.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: It matters.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: Whoever wins this game,
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: is going to walk out in the NFL is going to see them as a Super Bowl potential team.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue both are Super Bowl potential teams.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, Broncos defense.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's a tough defense.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: They have a lot of talents, certain who funga, Nick Bonito, TJ Jones, like their peppered with talent across the board.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt about it.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: However, and yeah, you talk about who funga and you talk about Patrick Sertan, that's two of five secondary members.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue three of five or kind of below average starters that you can pick on.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: Riley Moss is going to break the record if he stays healthy for most targeted corner back in the history of the NFL, because nobody throws it certain and so that backside corner gets the majority of those those targets.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think that could be the same again today or this week for the 49ers.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: I do, they do get one less rest.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that matters and they have to travel.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: So one day less rest and they've got to travel.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's huge 49ers get to stay at home.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is the end of their three game home skid after the Australia trip.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then revenge game for a lot of players Mike McGlunchy, DJ Jones, Tullinohu Funga,
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of familiarity and roster on both of these teams.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: It just is, Dr. Greenlog, good lord.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: He got cut for Singleton.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: trade bring lost playing by the way.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care what the injury report says.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: That dude's playing.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to play.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: That is going to happen.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the strength of the Denver Broncos, I think is their wide receiver core.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they have four quality wide receivers.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: Jalen Waterley traded a first round pick for Cortland Sun's been one of my favorite non-49
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got Pat Bryant, he's a young to up comer and Franklin is an explosive plate waiting to happen and special team stuff.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the strength.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like that for receiving course, pretty bad ass top five offense of players just via PFF and an analytics grade tied in Nate Atkins left tackle Garrett Bulls, one of the better ones in the game, Portland Sutton Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin again three of their wide receivers.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully this game ain't it, but Jalen Water has a skill set where he can get space and separation against any corner in the NFL.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: He is that talented definitely worth the first round pick, but it just hasn't hasn't meshed with low nicks and Sean Peyton.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: They've got they've got a lot more talent on defense and they do offense.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: There's no doubt about that.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: Sean Peyton and Davis Web, their play callers kind of make up for a lot.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: The scheme is very, very pro friendly.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: But bonus is like your best in your worst player because he's beyond inconsistent.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue one of the most.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: effective quarterbacks with this feet in the NFL, not explosive as Lamar Jackson and there's other guys, but as far as like effective and you heard Kyle Shiny and talk about it in today's press or where he said like, you know, yeah, I think let's shout out to Larry Kruger always asking great questions.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: It was like to how important is it to keep opponents in the pocket with healthy past wrestling, so that's one of our keys to victory.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: He said, huge, uh, fake bone extrambles more than any other quarterback in those situations.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: You have to make bone ex beat with his arm as a passer.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you've got to do.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: If he scrambles and it gets on the loose, he is dynamic.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: And they rely on him a lot because he's bigger dude.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's not one of your smaller, shifty quarterbacks.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's big strong.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: And so like he runs, he's not like Cam Newton.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to think of like another big strong physical mobile quarterback that just falls forward after every continent, you like he watched the tape and it's like, okay, he's scrambling.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: Only got two yards.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that was a five yard game.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, scrambling got four yards.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that was a seven yard game.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: like he is like the fullback, Tim Teebo, type, scrambleer, and the sense that when contact is made the DBs, safeties, not so much linebackers, he's always falling forward and turning his feet.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like a fullback scrambleing with the, he's got agility, don't be wrong, but you're not putting him into a lot of the mobile quarterback trends.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's just so big and stout and just falls forward
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so that, that's a big deal.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, look at this, man.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: One of my favorite people in the world, Mr. Corey Robbins, ah, executive producer of the entire show that is the 49er of the trash.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much, man.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate what you do.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, your generosity, your kindness, your friendship.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you make this show happen, man.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, brother.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: God, it's freaking awesome.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: I love seeing that.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: That makes me so happy.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: Corey Robbins, you stood.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: You stood.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you look at the Broncos, and again, analytically, they should not be 211, but 2 quality wins.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: They are below the evaluation line for almost every single metric.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: There's 32 teams in the NFL, they're below average, probably 95% of statistical whatever.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: Now it's a three game sample size.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: So you look at that and you're like, well, that kind of lies a little bit.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: Is that like, are we okay going with this idea that like, they're a below average team.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so this team was in the AC championship last year.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: This team is already beat the Jaguars playoff team.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: Rams playoff team.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: They're damn good.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: And their schedule doesn't get any easier because again, they they played the chiefs Jaguars Rams.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now they got the 49ers.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: Man, they've got Seattle.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: They've got Kansas City on their schedule as well on the next month.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: So like, they just keep stacking these difficult matches and it doesn't get better after the weekend by week as well.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: Now,
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: You look at the 49ers in kind of their point scored, their second most point scored.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers defense is third and points against.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: Again, now you look at the Broncos, 21st and point scored in 17th and points allow.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: They're 16, the 17th, all right, there's 32 teams in the NFL, so that 16, 17 is the average cutoff, their average.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: When you look at just the pure metrics
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't really get better.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: DVOA, the Broncos offense is 16th average.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Defeat, 12th, slightly above.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers DVOA.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: They are first.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: In every category of matchable offense and defense, they are first.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: EPA, you want to look at a different light, right, expected points added.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: offense for the Broncos 24 defense 19th, both below average, right?
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers offense, third defense eighth, it's just the efficiency in which the 49ers have played.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: it's telling when you look at it from a film or an analytics perspective.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so whenever those two things align, that's where you get teams that are three in a, that's where you get teams that have multiple 20 point victories because it hasn't been close to consistency that the 49ers have brought often, Stephen Special teams aligned.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: You watch the Broncos consistency does not.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: There's not complimentary football.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're red hot or they're ice cold.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: The A and so you just get this huge difference.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: Now the 49ers and again, there have only been 10 times this is the 11th time in the history of the 49ers franchise.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: You go back 1946.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: chat on bookshop, 1946.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: 11 times now, the 49ers have started off 3 and 0, 11 times.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: Only five times in their franchise history have they started off 4 and 0.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty big choose to feel.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: And they step into that in an enter into this elite territory and franchise history, 4-0 and a 2-0 division record.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: Good gosh.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: That just makes things just deep breaths, everything fills good, everything just seems right, because gosh, everything's clicking and you're walking away with victories.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now I understand the injuries and that is problematic and they do stack up and we're gonna go through some of that.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: But at the exact same time,
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: Whenever you can continually win and then correct those issues, that is the best time in the world to be a coach or a player.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like I've been on the wrong end of man to we've got to overhaul everything because we're just so bad.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: The best place to be is after a win.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys, there's stuff to work on.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: We can't rest here and you show it on tape.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: You show it on tape and then you, the players see it yet.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: We were wrong there, but you've got the victory.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: So it's easy to correct because you want.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: And so you're allowed to have the, man, we've got the one game lead in the UFC West and we've got the 2-0 division record that is huge.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: We just keep stacking these wins, but there's still corrections that need to be made.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: 40 hours have not played perfect football, even Prok Perti, who's the best player in the NFL through the first month for the first three weeks.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: There's still a lot of stuff to go.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: And again, if you guys have missed this, we have been loading the tape every play offense defense special teams from the first three weeks.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: We just had our zoom hang out, which was incredible.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: We put our bets of the week that we post every single week.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be posting that as soon as this show ends.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: The 40 miners rush or our Patreon page.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: And if you want to learn football, there's
- 19:05[SPEAKER_03]: I paint until I really see the tape.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_03]: You gotta see the tape to really see what it looks like.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_04]: But then I'll see it close from the film.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_04]: The things that we still take, the things that we require.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_03]: I hope you look the same on tape.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: Get better from the tape, but before we're hoping that's a good film on those guys, and we'll get to those things we get on the plane.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_01]: If the 49ers coaches and players have to watch the tape, what do you think you need to do?
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, guess what?
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: We got the tape.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers rush.com and our Patreon channel, patreon.com slash 49ers rush.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: Podcast.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: We have every offensive defense and special teams play outlined in all 22 and in zone coaches tape to go through and show you play by play.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: What this guy did wrong?
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: What this guy did right?
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: Who was wrong?
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: Who was right all those things?
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's way better than just grades or anything you got
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: You get it all seven day free trial right now.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Plus we have monthly zoom hangouts.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: We place our monthly bets weekly bets season long bets all on there.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to be a better fan, you want to understand football better guess what the 49ers rush calm is the place to go.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: The chat is unhinged today.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate it.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: Let's focus on the Broncos.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, though, y'all keep doing what you're doing because it's cracking me up.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not going to put it on the screen.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: I love you guys.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about the Broncos offensive line.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do a deep dive there.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: They're undersized.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: Similar to the 40 diners.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this smaller, and I mean, you have Mike McGlinchie on there, you know, 40 90 top 10 pick.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: He goes over there.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: Their average offensive line size is 6430 for average 30.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: So you're talking about experienced cohesive athletic.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: That is what they bring.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now legitimate run blocking unit.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: That is kind of their best trait and how they designed and built their offensive line.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Man, past protection just has not been great.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Ben Powers, their left guard, he is the 64th rated past protecting guard, Quinn Myers, who everybody loves, you know, you saw him just destroy Aaron Doodle, now Aaron Doodle's injured, Quinn minors did that and Quinn minors got drugged, that's the next day, which is comical.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure it's completely random NFL, but he has a 21.6 past blocking grade.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: which is one of the worst for anybody that has taken a snap at any position this year.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Now, run blocking.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to do his thing.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: Garipolls might make lunchy.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: You could argue two of the better run blocking offensive tackle groups in the NFL.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers do have it better.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: But that's pretty damn good.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: They're top three for sure.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: And they're Senator Luke Wattenberg.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: up and down.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's a slightly above average center that's kind of versatile in the run and past game, but definitely better in the run game.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now you look at the collective group of the 49ers offensive line.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: All right, sorry, the Broncos offensive line.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: They give it up seven sacks like over to a game, nine quarterback hits, three hits a game, 34 horses.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: So you're talking about 11
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: the same.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's just not like it's not consistent and bone next whenever there's players that are covered, his thing is tuck and run.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: which leads to more quarterback hits.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Brock, who best ability whenever he talks and run, is evading, as not what boat next does, he takes hits consistently.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out to my man, Colin, you are the best, let's go Rooster's baby.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: Watch the tape with John, is that blast, get on it.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you so much.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate that that is how I feed the family.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers rush to our comment, our Patreon page, link in the description of the video.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: Listen to Colin, he's one of the nicest guys in the world.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you look at the coaching staff, Sean Payton.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: Niners fans, you've got a lot of history with this guy.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: He is a turd in the punch ball.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's just what he is.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: Not a nice guy.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: Damn good coach.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Not a nice guy.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_01]: You got bounty game.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: You got cheating.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: You got complaining.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: You got just not cool man.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: Just not a cool guy.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: Went to Eastern Illinois.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: He played quarterback there and had his
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: was a part of, you know, one Super Bowl champion.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's been a coach of the year.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's incredible.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: However, he's a turt.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's just a turtid offensive coordinator.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: Davis Webb, one of the youngest guys, you know, he's a cow guy.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: Went to tech and then cow part of that Pax 12 after dark air raid, all that fun stuff.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: Davis Webb, he's interesting.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: he's been with the Denver Broncos he's 31 and already calling plays like he is the next probably head coach offensive mind or whatever if they can get things on track.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: There's definitely been
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: like unhinged, tight feel to the Broncos offense this year and it's kind of hard whenever Sean Payton's there, but Davis Web notes out to potential and all those things is there.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: He just hasn't done it yet, but he's been with the Broncos since 2023, quarterback coach, then offensive pass game coordinator, now offensive play collar,
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: Dude has just risen through the ranks.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of rising through the ranks, Rick, my man, I know you're head into the game this week.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you so much, man.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for the super chat.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: I like to know why my best friend isn't here to go to the Denver game this week.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be there.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: But when the wife, he says, I really want you to do something what she doesn't do often and her family's pretty great and I wanna celebrate them.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I'm not, but I will be with you next week, my man.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: And if you've ever been to one of our rush road trips, I don't think Rick has missed a rush road trip.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: Think of two and a half seasons like this dude is dedicated shout out to will.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: I know he's there too.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's the freaking man.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's he's the one with the backwards hat given everything away behind the table.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's my man Make it sure everybody's happy.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: So love you Rick.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry wish I could be there have some tequila shots on me my friend Don't do that.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: I know you're a jay missing guy, but
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: anyway.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, do with that, what you want, what you will.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: Vance Joseph, the 49er, the Broncos defensive coordinator 54 years old, he was back with the Niners back in 2005 to 2010.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: He was assistant DB coach.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: and then promoted to defense at that coach bounced around him and he's been everywhere.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: Houston, Cincinnati, Miami, Denver, Arizona, back to Denver.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: He is a damn good DC.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: It does a great, great, great job.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: One of my favorite DCs in the NFL,
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: just gets the job done consistently.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't usually have like the best type of defense, but it's always getting to the quarterback consistently and there's always a lot of turnovers.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's talk about injuries, 49ers, geez, this.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just go through the official designation out for the game.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: Nick Bosa, James Thompson Jr.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: Both of those guys are out questionable tag.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans, Rid, we all have ribs.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: Defensive in, key on white hamstring, hamstring in days, the 49ers late.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: Linebacker Drake Greenlaw, Quad, Jaden Douger, shoulder that happened in practice.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: Those guys are questionable.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: I fully expect he on white green law and Jayden Tucker to play Mike Evans.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: He said he's going to give it his best.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's got some extra padding under, you know, and rib protectors and whatever else.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: But man, that's a hundred percent pain tolerance issue.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I don't want to say that because as a wide receiver, I'm property throws high balls.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you've got to stretch out and those ribs are hurting,
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: It can it's rough man.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: It is rough.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm putting Mike Evans as a game time decision 50 50.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully, you know, gets an injection.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: It feels great because you need them out there.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, dude, Mike Evans is a competitor.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: He gets going into Patrick's or Tan.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: You want to do that.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: You want to play against the best.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: Always, always, always.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: Don Shirtstone.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're done.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody else is full.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: The only player that they had limited practice was DJ Jones and he was on a rest day.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Jalen Water looked was in a boot last week, but he practiced fully all week.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's fine.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like completely fine.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: Um, completely fine.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: No injuries whatsoever.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: Tell of two cities, man.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was the best of times.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: It was the worst of times when the Charles Dickens man pisses me off.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not that other teams are not injured.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: But whenever we step out of the 49ers bubble and you look at these other rosters, and it's just like, oh,
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: Just nothing.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: There's like three to four teams where the injuries are concentrated and every year it's the 49ers and every year it's 49ers soft tissue injuries, doesn't carry in every year.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: It just keeps going.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: You look at these other teams and it's like, oh, nothing.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like why not at the end of the year whoever the number two guy is for the Denver Broncos health and physical training staff, you just throw him top of the market money and just say do exactly what they did here, because the 49ers had never ever ever since Kyle Shendon since you left for candlestick to be honest with you, done this you had one year in 2023 you lost your guy to the Atlanta hops or the Iowa hot guys as some confused.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: so frustrating man.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: Scott, my man, thank you for the super chat.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: I've spent to run first game plan.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: If that gets going, Brock can sizzles some sausages for Brocktober with a three touchdown day, Christian McAfrey two more on the ground.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: Man, that's a five touchdown.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's 35 points right there.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: I do 1,000% agree with you though.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: This is a run first game plan, run first, run first, run first.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: Not just because five of your top-wide receivers are injured, which is insanity, the 49ers have more injuries that the wide receiver position than the Denver Broncos do at their entire lineup.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers have more entries at the defense and tackle position than the Denver Broncos have across their entire line up.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers have more entries at the defense and in position than the Denver Broncos have across the entirety of their line up.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like not one, not two three position groups.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: All more entries than the entire 53 man roster that is the Broncos.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Now if you walk away with a victory, having all those things true,
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty bad ass and it's just it's a constant just pushing the boulder up the hill moment and once it gets up there it resets the next day and you got to push it again, man.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just the way it goes.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's the way it goes.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the history of this matchup, 49ers Broncos, it's even eight and eight.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: They've only played 16 times.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, shout out to Wayne Breezy, me and him were at the last game back in 2002.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's actually when I met Rick and when I met Shane.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and a lot of other people, but like the worst quarterback game in the history of the NFL, I will die on that hill 11 to 10.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's the Jimmy Garoppolo pick eight where you just walks out of the back of the end zone and you lost by one point good job Jimmy G and probably the best thing that happened because it would have been an interception pick six.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: Man, that came just grossed me out like a lot like I've been to a lot of games where the 49ers lose and it's like man that sucks man We came all the way out here and they still lost and you have fly back and like you deal with that that was the one game where you're like This experience sucked start to finish this game was just not good and you lost by one point.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: It just
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, man, what this is, like, not a good team was just so bad, just so bad.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you Rick.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: He says, we're in today, what do you think the record at the buy week?
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: Give us some wins and losses versus each one of these teams.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, I like that.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers are three and a row right now.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: Here, I've got it right here.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: Let me scroll back up to the schedule.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: So the 49ers, here's the remaining record to the by week.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: You've got Denver at home at Seattle, Washington at home at Atlanta.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be at both the way games at Seattle at Atlanta.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be a good time for the Irish horse road trip.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going one and one over the next two weeks.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: I want that Seattle win now, obviously.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers can win every single game.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think one of these are just two bad ass teams.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers are at, not at full strength.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now, excuse me, you walk away of the next two weeks and you two and oh, and the 49ers are five and oh with wins against the Rams, the Broncos, and the Seahawks.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: which is huge shift in the betting lines shoutout my bookie.ag is from Uncle 49ers.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers are now the Vegas favorites to have the best record in the NFL, which has been announced with the division they're in, but that Australia game was the away game at the Rams.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then you've got Seattle at Seattle next week.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: The only road division game you have left is Arizona.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: And so, man, if you are able to get that win and see out.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: It.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: you get a two game buffer across everything.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_01]: And really, it's even more than two games because then Seattle and the Rans would have two losses.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: And even if they tied you, you would win the divisional tri-breaker and they had to head type-breaker.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a two and a half-game advantage for our baseball fans, you know, like in baseball, that's hard to overcome.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: And football where you only play 17,
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: Good, gosh.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got Washington and Atlanta.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I'd like, man, I'm totally cool saying 6 and 1 or 5 and 2.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think 6 and 1 would be my bedding favorite.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, I want to be 7 and no, but the NFL humbles you and stuff happens and calls happen and whatever else.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: But 5 and 2, I'm fine with that's badass.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: 6 and 1 to sign me up right now.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: 7 and 0,
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Now you're talking favorites to win the Super Bowl, right, because you have so many quality wins.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to say six and one.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, if they're undefeated by the by that's better, you take it one game at a time.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: You just kind of keep going from there.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of what you do.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: So now let's look at just what the Broncos defense.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: does well, what they do poorly, all those different things.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: But again, I'm just going to say this.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: If you go to any 49ers road games, come party with us, this is what a parties are like.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers rush road trip is going into its sixth year with over 40 events at road gains.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: If you are traveling to see the 49ers play this year, you got to come party with us.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: And on top of that,
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: We give games, trivia, giveaways.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: We partnered with TickPick this year.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: All you have to do is search 49ers rush on any of the TickPick sites, apps, you name it, and on top of all of that.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Best dressed, giveaways, autographed jerseys, kids are always included and get in for free with a ticketed adult.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of times for select cities, we will have 49ers legends come out and you get to meet and greet them and get autographed, viral Bowman.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, Fred Warner, are all players that we have worked with in the past and trust me.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to build the 49ers community, you're traveling by yourself.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: We got you covered 49ers RushRotrip.com.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's get through the Broncos rankings per, you know, we do the same 14 categories
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: Teams 1-332 and chat with some man Josh.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos defense is, you know, they're first in interceptions.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: They have four picks on the year.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's a tall enough thing.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: They lead the NFL in that of the 14 categories.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only one they're top five in.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only one.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: They have one more category where they're top 10, they're ninth and passing touchdowns allowed.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you cross track those same categories.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_01]: Those same 14 categories for the 49ers offense, right?
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: 49ers offense, first Broncos defense.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers are top five in 12 of 14 categories, like on paper metrics-wise, this is not an even battle, but that's not the way the NFL works because the NFL and football in general one of the things that I love about football.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's a match-up game.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: You can't do that.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: You beat this team.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: We lost that team.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: Therefore, you know, you can't.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: The Socratic Logic doesn't work there.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's just not that.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: Because your corner might not be able to take away their wide receiver and their linebacker and your running back.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like those matchups are just so fluid that the advantage does not translate games a game to game to game to game.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: But the Broncos unit 17, and again remember 32 teams, right?
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos defense, 17th and points, a last, 29 in yards, teams have marched up and down the field.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: 24th and fumbles recover, 27th and 1st down.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: These are bottom five, 25th and past touchdowns alone.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: 30th and rush yards, 18th and rushing touchdowns, 30th and yards per rush.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's the number one metric going back to this idea Scott should be a run first game should be a run first game for the 40 hours off.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's now with a Broncos knowing that come out load the box, force Brock to can can kill kill.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: switch the passing game and then throw there.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: So do you give a pre-snaps false read in the box and then bail out?
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I would do if I was playing the Niners the Properties plan and maybe a football.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: So do you let the 49ers run the ball?
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: What's there doing effectively?
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, shoot 5.1 yards per rush for the 49ers.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's fourth best.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: What do you do?
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: And like, and again, I said there's two of the 12 of the 14 metrics where the 49ers aren't top five.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well guess what, rushing yards, they're six.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, passing yards, they're six.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: So if you look at all 14 categories, they are top six.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: They have dominated, dominated.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: And,
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know man.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: On paper, it doesn't match.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: On film, it doesn't match.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now you flip the script and you go to the Broncos offense for the 49ers defense.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's better and not as love cited, but it's still completely love cited.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos offense, 21st and points, not good, 28th and yards, not good, 17th and turnovers average.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty-third and interceptions.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: Not good.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty-fifth and first-downs.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: Not good.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: This is all Broncos, uh, offense like not good.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: Not good.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty-second, uh, passing yards.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty-fifth first-downs.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Seventy and passing touchdowns.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty-first-pass yards per cent.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty-six rest attempts.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Thirty-first and rush yards.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: Second to last in the NFL and running the football with the running quarterback.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the better running offense and lines,
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: like it's not a good group.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now the 49ers defense isn't top five and everything like the often says, but there's one, two, three, four, five, six of the 14 metrics they're top 10.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: They are in a above average group.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: They're a top 10 group.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: is that going to change is this the game where the Broncos get on pace and get on schedule and stay ahead.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: I really don't.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the Broncos are very good team.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Broncos can win the FC Westwind, it's all said, and they're that quality of a team.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: But with what I'm watching on tape does not say that.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: It really, really doesn't say that.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't show that.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, man?
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: Jacob, the man.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: J.C., California kid currently living in the DFW area.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, man?
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: My old stomping grounds.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: We just flipped.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: We just traded.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm DFW living in a county.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_01]: Would love to attend your tailgate party.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know what I need to do for this to happen.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: Love your content.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: Keep going, man.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_01]: Hashtag, C.C., thank you.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to go to 49ers rushroadship.com.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: That is the place, that is the only place
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: You go to 409stressworkchip.com, links in the description of this video or podcast, click that link.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_01]: Click Get tickets, find the event you want.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_01]: We have all of the events are posted right now, cheaper now than they will be at at any other point.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: We do not throw the cheapest events.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_01]: Our tailgates are definitely not the cheapest tailgates.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: You can find cheaper, nine-year tailgates out there.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: If money is your issue, too, they're also up points you're in the way.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: If you're part of you with nine-ers fans, I'm happy.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: our job, what we do is we try to provide top tier service food, drinks, everything.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: All inclusive premium is the way in which we build our events and those are up.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: So you just pick if you're coming out to the Dallas game.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: do not wait because we are going to probably sell out like we are it's going to be our largest party we've ever thrown last year we had over 700 in Houston I think this one's going to be bigger.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: So if you are wanting to come to the Dallas events do not wait because there is going to be a sorry we are at capacity we cannot take any more people that's going to happen so anyway hope to meet you thank you Jacob appreciate you thank you for the support thank you for the support
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if we get into the X's and O's and kind of what the Broncos defense tries to do, they have studs all over and they try to out roster you.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: They do that's what they try to do.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: Very, very tough.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: They stay at nickel all the time.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: So they're at nickel 62% of the time, which is a lot and then time, 20% of the time.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: They love their defensive backs.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: Mindbackers, they just haven't got it right.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: That is the weakness and vulnerability of the Broncos defense.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: D.V.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: is not named.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: Tall and old, fun.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: Go and Patrick Soutin.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: They blitz 40% and that's twice split the 49ers have done over the last three years.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like they are a blitzing team and against Matt Stafford who you traditionally do not blitz, they blitz him 54% Monday night.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: like they just go and they just keep going.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: They got toasted by the blitz and the first half to Broncos defense and they just said, well, we're just going to keep doing it live and die by it.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: Brock Pertis pretty damn good against the blitz too.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: So those hot reads and all those things the question is, can all the Y receivers that are adjusting?
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Don't have a lot of continuity with the guys that are going to be out there not named EOS Samuel and George Kittle can the other guys
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you'll have to see how that goes.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: And right in then, stick it with that Scott.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you again for the super chat.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: Seems Kyle Trust brought completely.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see that impacting play calls?
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: Can't believe Sean no longer calling place?
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, there's nobody that loves their system more than Kyle Shanahan.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody, like you look at Andy Reed.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: He brings in, be enemy, navy, you know, all these other play colors, Andy calls the plays, but he takes a lot of input from his other guys.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: You see, Sean McVay, he will adapt his offense completely to his personnel.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's McVay strength.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to accommodate to what I have on the field.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Shanann is neither one of those two guys.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not bringing in anybody to give me influence.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_01]: I am promoting from within because you are my pupil, my system, my place, my tendencies, my wrinkles will defeat whoever.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't give a damn who's playing.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: Nick Mullin, CJ, Bethard, Jimmy G, throw in the names.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: Don't care.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: That is the shenanian iron head.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to do whatever the hell he is because he believes in his system.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: Rock fits that to a tee.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: A Brock party is the shadow that to Kyle Shanigan, right?
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like they are lock and step.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so Kyle can kind of call whatever he wants and understand the play has the answers written into it.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: If I call this play, and if they blitz, there's your answer, if they don't, there's your answer.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: They load the box, can, can, can.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_01]: This is the audible play, this is the answer.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: If they blitz in the audible play,
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: Brock pretty goes through that system like nobody's business.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: And so that translates.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, you talk about, and these were questions that were asked to Kyle Shining and earlier this week, like, do you think whenever you're in your 60s, you'll give up play calling like Sean Payton.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sean Payton was like one of the best play colors in that fellow history.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's just what he did with par sells, right?
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like he was the offensive guy.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's just what he was, the spags to Andy Reed as part sells was to pay.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: After a while, he kind of, I mean, he's done this for so long and once so much, let's see what happens, train them up.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but it is different.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: And it is kind of a shock to see it, and I keep waiting for it to shift back to Sean Payton.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that is this game.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: I would love that type of turmoil on their sidelines personally.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but yeah, I get awesome comment there Scott, Kim Pro, my man.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, man?
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: Things from Super Chat.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think they will try to stop
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: Man, huff is just a free range everywhere.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: So you want to take away the middle of the field with huff.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: And you want him to have the explosive plays with blitzing, shooting the flats, all those different things.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of hard to have the, with the new two safety system and shitting hands responsible for this as well.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: With all that pre-snap motion,
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: unless you run man, which they do run man, but unless you stay in man, those kiddo cross, you know, he'll motion across and then speed motion across on the backside.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: You can't do that in today's NFL.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: You have to attribute safety to side and those motions will shift, tall and up.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: Tolla know a back.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: So if the 49ers don't want kiddo on who Funga is pretty easy to do.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: You just can't can't flip and man.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: It looks like huffs lined up on kiddo.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to motion you across.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: He motions across to Funga shifts back.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_01]: The other safety walks up.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: Problem solved.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: So and this has always been a problem with defenses is men.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: They can scheme you out of that and
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now, where is Huff the best?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's the best at in the box blitzing the quarterback forcing turnovers.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he does.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: There are downsides to tell an olefunga.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: One of my fair players, Evan, his pursuit angles are rough.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: George Kittle eats up pursued it, angles better than any tight end in the game.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_01]: better than any side end in the game.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: So, there are flip sides to that, but dude, I want to see the heavyweight heavyweight fight.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: Hell, yeah, I want to see kill vs. Funga.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I want to see that.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see that all the time because that is just, man, it's poetry motion.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: That is just the best thing the best together.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: Those are two all pros.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: Just going at it,
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, dude, I want to see that.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'd prefer Ufanga on a Lou Farrell.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a little bit to get up.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll see, we'll see what that looks like.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the Broncos offense, me and just some tendencies, Sean Payton hates around the ball.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: It wants to throw it all the time.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: And that comes across, like, man, what's there, run rate?
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the Broncos have, you know, a 37.5 pass predict.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: past play 62.5 run play because of the quarterback runs so damn much.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's a trip the way that it works.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: Bodex has not done great and man, you look at their 11 personnel for the Broncos offense, they're in that 62% of the time.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: 12 personnel for their offense, they're in that 18% of time.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: You can stay in nickel.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_01]: For the 49ers, this whole entire game.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you, and so like if Jalen and Jason Doughert is out, you'll do some for three stuff, but you can stay like this is up and stout might break his own personal record for defensive snap percentage like I think he's going to be out there ridiculous amount.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: Broncos offense 21% play action.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: 21% screens, they screen a lot.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: And they like to screen two Patrick Brian, the young pup.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: Tight in, still do it, running back, still do it.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: Cortland, Sutton, they'll do it.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's your bigger wide receiver.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: They'll do it to jail on water.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're doing it to, like, they will screen to anybody.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: Don't really throw deep a lot.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: Only two passes deep all year.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: They are a short behind-the-liner screen
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: it's just what they do and it's kind of what they stay with.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if we look at the, what the Broncos should do, they should go after the $40 depleted defensive line.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: They do some six offensive line looks.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: If the 49ers stay in nickel first that that's going to be hard.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: They can play bully ball because if you have six offensive linemen out there, man, that is not a duo.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: That is a triple duo because you can double team double team double team and just work that was middle gaps.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: The Buffalo bills did this to the 49ers.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: You remember that snow game, they did that to us all the time.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's built into the Broncos offense.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: They could do that.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then go after the 49er second dairy with speed.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: Marky Seagulls of 43 guy.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: Jaiya Brown is a 45 guy barely.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: One of the worst safeties in the NFL, especially on those deep balls, that's what I would do.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I would run, pound heavy, the ball up the middle, a lot of up the middle runs, mix that up with a play action deep post, whenever Seagull rotates down, and you see 27 back there, that's just what I would do.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: Um, fully-spectrant Wayne's a play, but if he doesn't, the dairy and low, I'd go after him.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and now the 49ers the other way, dude, attack the secondary, not name to Funga and not name Patrick Surtan.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: Riley Moss, I'm circling you, and I'm circling both wine beckers.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: That is the Shanahan spin cycle.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's done it.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_01]: His entire career, these line beckers for the Broncos are not top 20 in the NFL.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't mean they're not good.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a healthy tandem, it really isn't.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Alex Singleton dude.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going after that guy.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going after him just for what he'll did to Drake Greenland like I'm going to make that personal.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: Sean Payton is the most make it personal head coach in the NFL today.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: Actually.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that a Patriots head coaches the most make it personal guy.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: Rable, but that's a different story.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: Attack the middle of the field.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: Denver's defense.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's their weak point.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's their weak point.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's their weak point.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: Now to there is a free bet right now up on my bookie.

- 53:53[SPEAKER_01]: Man, shout out, start off with Josh's wild and not too well prediction.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_01]: He says the 40 minutes will hold bull nicks under 200 pass yards, two turnovers, which he's done pretty much every game.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so yeah, like two that that's awesome.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_01]: If that takes place and you get turnovers, because that's the one area where this defense has not happened yet is forcing turnovers.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_01]: You've got
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: Fred Warner punching the ball out, you know, those force fumbles are still coming, but interceptions from interceptions or, you know, fumble recovery, strip sacks, things like that, haven't seen that yet.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: So if the 49ers can just stay even parallel, if the 49ers in this game even on the turnover basis, the 49ers are winning, I think one of the only ways the consistency
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: that the 49ers offense and defensive played in can be overcome is explosives, the 49ers have one of the most explosive offenses.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: They stop opposing offenses from having the least amount of explosives.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: Purnovers is the area.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's the one area, right?
- 54:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the special teams turn over.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: Then you have the Brock party interception because Caleb Black was in the game.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's it.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_01]: So if you protect the ball,
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: Niners are going to win this game and I think it's going to be one of the most Russia-tip heavy games for the 49ers offense this year.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: Just pound the damn, but I want everybody running the ball.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: I want Christian McCaffer to get carries.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: I want Dbo to get carries.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: I want Killing Black to get carries.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: I would mine a Kyle use check carry.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: I would mine Brock pretty scrambling three to four times and shoot them.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan James going to be active.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get him in there.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't want Christian McCaffer to walk in away from this game
- 55:39[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to be a collective effort and I wanted to be a consistent effort now if they're going to stack that box can can can kill kill we're going to go and we're just going to let Brock party dinking dump and do his thing.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: unbelievable that evening.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's at the first three games, but like this defense of lines, pretty game good.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: Nick Bonito against Colton McKimmits, Colton McKimmits, awesome.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_01]: But this is the type of player that you know, Colton McKimmits struggles with.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: The speed edge hybrid bindi guy.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: that scares me.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I've got the 40 hours winning.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_01]: The spread is three points.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: That is exactly where I have the 49ers winning 27 to 24.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_01]: One of my favorite bets this week is the alternative lines where I'm not taking three points.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm taking a half point away.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm taking a 49ers minus two and a half and I got them winning 27 24.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be close because whether it's the first half that the 90s get big time ahead or it's the second half where the 49ers kind of catch back
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: Denver Bronco has put in a good half a game in every game.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_01]: The 49ers have been pretty damn consistent.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now, second half when Drake going on went out, defense kind of shuttered considerably.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think the 49ers win this game.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_01]: I really, really do.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be going live.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be here, but you know, not in San Francisco or in San Clara, the 49ers won't be in San Francisco either.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_01]: But we'll be going live right after the show for reactions where the celebration
- 57:22[SPEAKER_01]: or therapy right here.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_01]: And so make sure you join this for that one.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are the best.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's gonna wrap up our show here.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna go post those best.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_01]: Get this audio process.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you have a great weekend.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: And the next time we talk, I do expect the 49ers to be 4-0 and undefeated and going into the biggest game in the year.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: Again, Seattle will be there 40 49ersRoserochip.com.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's gonna do it for us.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: Until next time, stay strong, faithful.
