Louisiana LEAP Scores Break Records | Alexandria Louisiana News
Louisiana’s latest LEAP Test scores are soaring—over a third of students from third to twelfth grade hit Mastery or Advanced across all subjects, with the state ranking 1 in reading growth and 2 in math nationally. For the first time, Louisiana’s fully recovered to pre-pandemic levels in both areas, and Rapides Parish leads the state with a record 40% of students scoring at the top tier. Educators credit higher expectations and targeted strategies for this breakthrough, signaling a strong, sustained upward trend in student achievement.
