  in the hands of our heavenly father and his name is Jesus Christ.

  I cannot believe today's the 23rd of September, and we hope that each and every

  one of you are feeling well, doing well, and are prepared to share these next

  few minutes together as we pray for you.

  We lift you up and say, hey, God is with you. God believes in you. God trusts in you.

  And God is never going to leave your side. Now, I know what you're thinking.

  If you're on the TikTok app right now and you're scrolling through on your FYP,

  you're saying, oh boy, this guy's talking about Jesus.
• 1:44
  I don't want to listen to him. I'm going to scroll away. That is okay.

  That is your prerogative. And I respect that.

  But if you're interested in being motivated, if you're interested in hearing
• 1:53
  what is available to you, then stick around.

  You may just be excited about what I'm about to say.

  So when God created you in his image, he said, I'm going to create this person.

  I'm going to create a friend.
• 2:08
  I'm going to create a person like Jim. I'm going to create a person like Corey.

  I'm going to create a person by the name of Cody, Noah, Ariel.

  We're going to create all these
• 2:19
  people and we're going to say they have a gift and they have a talent.
• 2:24
  And what is their identity going to be? Hmm.
• 2:27
  Well, this one's going to be a lawyer. This one's going to be a father.
• 2:31
  This one's going to be a great husband. This one's going to be an amazing ball
• 2:35
  player. This one's going to be a doctor.
• 2:37
  See where I'm going? We have identities.
• 2:41
  Aside from your profession, which is what I labeled, what is the true identity
• 2:46
  in your heart? How good are you?
• 2:49
  And what do you bring to this world?
• 2:51
  Are you the type of person that will go above and beyond to help somebody?
• 2:56
  Are you the type of person that can allow our Heavenly Father into your heart,
• 3:03
  and say to yourself, I can do all things by Christ who leads me?
• 3:09
  Quite often, and we find ourselves backed up into a corner because life can throw a curveball at us.
• 3:14
  There's good days, there's bad days, there's the ugly days, and there's the,
• 3:18
  what I like to call, fugly days, and you know what that means.
• 3:22
  And what those means is, you forget that God exists.
• 3:28
  We forget who we are and what God intended us to be.
• 3:32
  You see, the hardest thing you can do is praise God on the good days and the bad days. I'm saying it.
• 3:38
  It is a hard thing to do because when you're in a storm and things aren't working
• 3:42
  in your favor The first thing you think about is well, where is god?
• 3:47
  Or you'll say well i've been praying and I don't know. I don't see these results.
• 3:51
  He's not listening I know what that feels like.
• 3:55
  I know What you're probably thinking?
• 3:58
  Well You've got the naysayers out there that will say well, there is no god,
• 4:02
  And that's why I don't pray and I don't know why people believe this folktale,
• 4:06
  Then there's people out there that know God exists,
• 4:09
  can feel the Holy Spirit, has seen God's power, his wisdom,
• 4:14
  and they'll rely on their faith to get them by.
• 4:17
  So how do we distinguish which one to choose? Well, it's very,
• 4:21
  very difficult to choose when you don't have a foundation.
• 4:26
  See, when I grew up, I was told, hey, let's go to church. Let's see what God has to bring for you.
• 4:32
  And my parents didn't force me to go to church.
• 4:35
  And I'm grateful because I know that my heart was following God and all roads led to God's heart.
• 4:45
  Some of us maybe didn't grow up with that foundation. Some of us maybe were forced to go to church.
• 4:52
  Most of us go to church and we have no idea what the minister is saying.
• 4:55
  You know, as a pastor in training, that's why I believe that personal testimony,
• 5:00
  and reading scripture and explaining and providing those people with an idea
• 5:07
  of why the Bible can be so important and how the stories relate to our stories.
• 5:14
  Don't forget, Jesus went out and picked imperfect people. And none of us are
• 5:19
  perfect. There's only one perfect person, and that's Jesus Christ.
• 5:22
  But he picked unperfect people.
• 5:25
  He picked disciples, and we are all his disciples.
• 5:31
  We all have a journey. We all have this opportunity to get better.
• 5:36
  Are we going to make mistakes? Absolutely. Are we going to fall off the trail? Absolutely.

  Absolutely. But it's those angels around us. It's the environment that we're in.
• 5:46
  It's the atmosphere that we provide ourselves in that allow others to bring
• 5:50
  us back on that train track.
• 5:53
  Here's the reality. When we are off the train tracks, when we forget who we
• 5:58
  are, we can lose our identity.
• 6:01
  Distractions will come. People will try to trick you and tell you,
• 6:05
  you shouldn't believe in this. You shouldn't believe in that.
• 6:08
  But your heart tells you another thing. Your heart says, I want to believe in
• 6:12
  Jesus Christ. I know he exists.
• 6:16
  And I know that in my 20s, I used to say to myself, I don't think I could follow
• 6:20
  Christ because people are going to think I'm weird.
• 6:23
  And I can't believe I said that in my 20s, but I did.
• 6:27
  And it wasn't until the Lord Jesus Christ smacked me around and said, hey, I'm right here.
• 6:34
  I haven't left you. And I am trying to tell you something. You have a gift and
• 6:40
  I love you and I love you for it.
• 6:42
  Just let me in because I can help you change the world.
• 6:47
  And sure enough, when I listened, when I put my faith and trust into Jesus, a new world opened up.

  Did it come with backlash? Absolutely. Did I lose friends? Yes, I did.

  But did I gain new friends? Yes. Did I gain knowledge? Yes.

  Did I feel the love and the Holy Spirit come within me and hear God's message
• 7:11
  that told me, angel, I believe in you. I trust in you.

  I am never going to leave your side. So I look now at the names coming in like
• 7:20
  JD, LLC, Andreas, all these people that are coming into our life. God loves you.
• 7:27
  God believes in you. And God is never going to leave your side.
• 7:30
  To the Have Faith Let It Begin community, your identity is the most important thing.
• 7:35
  And you, just like Daniel that's coming into our life, You were created for a purpose.
• 7:42
  God created you in his image because he knows that you have a gift. And remember,
• 7:49
  Having faith does not make you weak. Trusting in Jesus does not make you feel
• 7:55
  like you're following a folktale.

  Following Jesus allows you the opportunity to follow love, wisdom,
• 8:03
  guidance, opportunity, and growth in your heart,
• 8:08
  in the world you live in, in the path that Christ has made for you. He's connecting dots.

  He's providing you with a lifestyle and a growth opportunity that will allow
• 8:21
  you to find the path of righteousness so what does this mean and where do we go from here.

  Pray about it and if you want to talk to somebody reach out to a pastor,
• 8:31
  a friend reach out to somebody and say hey, Jesus is calling me,
• 8:36
  and I want to answer or maybe you're saying Jesus is calling me and I'm afraid
• 8:39
  to answer that's okay too you can reach out to me angel at half faith let it

  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our

  debtors. Lead us not into temptation.

  Deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever.
