- 2:25SPEAKER_00: We got up to£2,500.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: We want to get back to it, don't we?
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And we want to get back to£2,500 because we're going into Rose Hill, into the care home where Skip's ma'am settled in really well.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she has, yeah.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Um, likes a bit of gardening, likes a little time, but we want to help the staff out there as well.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: And yeah, they've got things like things outside in the garden that they want to they want to sort and like a wet room shower and just stuff like that.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: It all it makes all the nurses life easier and it makes all the patients.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: So that's what we want to do.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Um a quick one while we're going at the charity and stuff, Cumbrian Run.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Well done to everyone.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: We'll fancy it next year then.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: No, I've done I'd done 11 miles on Saturday morning.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: I'm still stiff now.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Hey 11 mile.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Is it the Cumbrian run when you came last?
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Second last.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: He looked up like awesome.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: My missus and my mother-in-law went home because I thought I'd finished, but I was still running.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: No, honestly.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Pulled your you pulled your calves.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Pull my calves nearly dark, it's bad day.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Who was behind you?
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Heavy.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: It was a bit organisation.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Was it when you ran through the cafe?
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, he's he's left there, she thought I was finished.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: The wee one and that's probably made signs not up, innit?
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Had to go home, it's bedtime.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Go dad and all that.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Uh well done to a good friend of ours as well, Wendy Armstrong, who worked and worked and worked and worked to do it and she completed it.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Brilliant.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Um what it's not easy doing a half marathon, so fair play to everybody.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: When was it when you pulled your car for Hoolie and Dab out?
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: That was the Carlisle half.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Um and I was gonna pull out, but Dabba wouldn't let me pull out, he just kept dragging me by the arm.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: I could have chinned it.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It was funny because on the other 35s, Dabba put a video up and he went, This is what dedication's all about, this is what guts and determination skip, right?
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: And I looked at him in the face because I know and I looked in the face, I went, He just wants them too to shut up and he wants to just bow out.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: I just want to walk up believers.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Oh honestly, I was horrendous.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: It was good the start, uh the tunes were on and that.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Um, the fair.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: No, so well done.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Well done.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: We'll quickly touch on it before we go on the intro, Man City.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: I know it's messy, isn't it?
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: Very they could have signed messy now, imagine that.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: What happened?
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: As a player, because I'm seeing people getting hammered now between 2018 and 21, is that the years, roundabout that give your medals back, you didn't really earn it.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: I am not asked one bit what supporters are saying, I won it.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I get the whole behind the scenes right, and like they're obviously gonna get severely into trouble, but the players on the pitch won the league.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: Like, do you know what I mean?
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: 11v11.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Like, although they could say, well, they shouldn't ability to buy it on blah blah blah.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: But the players actually they won the games and won the points.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: So why would why would they take the then the medals off of them?
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: I I even if they said bring your medals in, I'm still in my head, I've won it.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I'm like, because how much do you look at your medals, really?
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Well, it's polishing my punt's Premier League.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Do you think I'll get relegated or not?
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Aye, do you think?
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: I don't have that.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Simon Jordan had a good point, though.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: I listened to Simon Jordan about it, and he was basically saying, like, they'll obviously get the punishment, but the the Premier League have created this situation where the top boys, like your Arsenal's Man United, and Liverpool's have basically shut the door for investment for everybody else.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: So they're already big dogs and allowed to spend so much money, and then teams like um Not in the Forest who've got big owners, all these teams, Everton.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Everything at a go though, the five years.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: They're basically saying like you can't join the table.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: Like you can't invest enough money to be at your table because they've not got the revenue and the fans, all this kind of stuff.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: So it's almost impossible to to compete at the top of the league while that's in place.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: Like Newcastle when we got that we thought we'd win the leagues for you guys to come, didn't we?
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Come and spend the dough.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Link with Mbappy and all that.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: I I do know what though, what not worries me, I'm not bothered how it goes really.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Um Man City seem confident in this appeal, and when they're confident in appeal, you're thinking they've got something they're bringing Andy Burnham into it now, so what's gonna happen?
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Well, he wants to get involved.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Like how the evidence got out and stuff like that, like obviously it's it's in court, but it could go down one of them sort of routes where it's like although the evidence is there that we've done this, yeah, is it usable?
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Because the way you've got the evidence, it's gonna aye.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so as a player you're not and then someone put up then players must be worrying and not sleeping at night.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: Double contract not sleeping on me waterbed.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: Do you see the manager get like double contract?
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: He got like how many millions for working like four days advising like the Saudis or something on what's Harlan got left?
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Eight yeah.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: He'll be worried, won't he?
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: He worries at night because there won't be many takers.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Scholes put something on, doesn't he?
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: I want my medal back or something.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: School's gonna be controversial.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: He does lately, he likes it, doesn't he?
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: We were getting watched today on YouTube, and please subscribe to it because them numbers have gone up and uh viewing figures, ridiculous.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: Oh good, very impressive.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I heard the Carl United youth team before they got off today.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Said we were shit cracked, didn't they?
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Little uh Harry Morgan.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: Hey, I'm glad he didn't watch last week's because his dad was ranging about him and his mum and dad.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: So chin up, Harry, watch what you did.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know if they won or not, but good luck to the Carl youth team today, actually.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Right, episode thirty six.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: We'll go with that.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Right, two wins in a week.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: Oh, has Robert rang us to thank us?
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Is that motivational speech to the game?
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Motivational speech to dig them out.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Um right, shall I have my thoughts?
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: Go on.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: That's how you win football games in the National League.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: It is, you're right.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: You've done the game.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: I was there against Fildon, they just do know what it wasn't anything massively impressive, it was just the work rate and the dug-in, they've done they've just done everything, they defended well.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, it was just a real, like you say, uh a good National League performance where they needed, but it was the reaction that they needed from the second half at walking, and it was a perfect reaction because it was a it was a clean sheet.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: The keeper Du Bois, he was a man on a mission that night, um, he was brilliant just in everything he'd done, but you could see from the warm-up to the start the way they started the game, they just they were desperate to put it right.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Um, and to be fair, 1100 plus fans.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: It was what I think was more than 1100.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: To get that reaction from the team, you could see the togetherness at the end.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Listen, it it it was if if it went the other way, it was going to be Carnage.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Uh oh it'd have been probably the end of it, wasn't it?
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: But to do that and then go away and play even better away all the shot on Saturday, just like you say, and that's why we've been hammering the lads a little bit as well.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: How many teams get that many supporters?
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: But the supporters on the Tuesday night, as you said, could have started with negativity and they didn't.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: I mean, Nicholson took a few throw-ins early on and they were patting them on the back when he was he was clapping them and that.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: And it's a first goal league, I think, at the minute.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: Well, if we don't concede a stupid goal, we grow into the game like we said do all season, get the first goal next thing to different games.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Fans are on the eye, yeah.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Do you know what?
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I'll give credit to Rob Ellie because at the end of the walking game, he didn't hide, he went and clapped, tried to clap the fans, and he got some serious stick, he went over, didn't it?
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: And he went out before the game against Field, and the cla and the and they were good to him, even though But that's why we have a that's why when Carlell fans kick off, they don't just kick off for the sake of kicking off, they're angry, and then a day later, not a day later, two days later, they want to get behind you, they do have them.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: It was like a home game, it was it was the fans are unbelievable, and just the way at the end, but they followed it up with another win.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Um, and I think if they can get a win this Saturday, which will be tough because they've got to do it at home, haven't they?
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: They've got that little thing on the back now, haven't they, where they want to get that result at home.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: But if they do it Saturday against Kidderminster though, well it'll be it'll be such a good what seven to ten days for them.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: So well speaking about coming up against them on Saturday, I hope they don't change the we've got a little thing in, but I hope he doesn't change the way they play just because they're at home.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: I hope the lads don't change just because they're at home, they think they can then but there this mic from up the beat.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Hi lads, I like Elliot and what would like it to work for him, but personally think he should have gone after the walking game.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: But when it was clear he was staying, he again has my full backing as always.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: What I would say though, listening to his interviews after the last two wins and beforehand about the process and not changing style, has the no nonsense, common sense football that we've just seen in the last two matches only happened because of how desperate we have been.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: So is it in spite of him rather than because of him?
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: Also, I've seen an interview where he has thanked the lads for basically keeping in a job.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: It all feels a little bit too Williamson-esque with no real fear factor coming from the coaching staff.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: The last two matches have shown if you don't concede silly goals, you run hard, you don't faff about in bad areas, you win your duels, and your players are more physical team, which we have, add to that scoring first.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: This league could be quite comfortable.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: So, whilst I am delighted with the two wins, I will be disappointed if we don't follow up these wins with the same kind of style.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: I'm also annoyed we are having to write the title off so early, which is down to the players and the team.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: Third is the minimum we should get this year.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: So a couple of things we take from that.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, sorry, Elliot said he wouldn't change his style for anyone, but then the style seemed to have changed.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: So I think what he's getting at is did the players take it upon themselves, or did he say, Right, you be a bit more physical, you run a bit harder?
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, he definitely changed, the managers changed.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: I think I've done it.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: You can tell his interview after the game.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Now that you knew something was coming, didn't you?
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: You knew there was something, it was different.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Like he's thinking, fuck everything.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: You know what I'd like to say.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: I'll get you out before you know when managers to say that you'll be gone before me.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: But now players are like, we won't.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: I know it's right.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: And that's the thing with saying big contracts, isn't it?
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: Some boys, it's like they've got power.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: But it changed, didn't it?
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: One thing's for sure though, people thought they weren't playing for him.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: I just think that was a you hope that walking game was a massive wake-up call, and listen, it's two games, and it might be, but they're definitely playing for him.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: They were definitely playing for him, they were just playing crap, yeah.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: But they were creating chances in and they were having halves of really good football, but it's not enough.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: You've got to score goals.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: That's at home for them.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: And not putting two halves together, that that was the problem.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: But I do think they're playing for him, yeah, after the last two results.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: Saturday will be a big test because as the boys said there, sometimes away from home, you can roll the sleeves up, you've got a big backing and stuff at the night, and you just go battle away, and you now and you just get momentum and a bit of energy.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: You go back into a Saturday at home, the onus is on you, the fans are sitting waiting on you.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: What what what do you do now?
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: You can't just roll the sleeves up and have that kind of battle game.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: As a supporter, we've all been away games.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: All you're asked about is three points on the trip home, aren't you?
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: It makes you day at home.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: You go and you want a bit more extra, so that's what you're the teams are different as well, aren't they?
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Like obviously burning the park.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: Do you think walking's out the system, or will that be on the mind because it's a back at home?
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: I think few of them will be on.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Some of that, I think some of them it won't be, but some everyone's different, aren't they?
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they'll be thinking I get an early touch.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: The ones who have been struggling, you think I get an early touch.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think again, I'm not being disrespectful, but come on, let's get them in start.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: I know, I know, I know.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: But that's where you've got to get that out.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: I think you've got to get out of the way.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: No, we shouldn't, though.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: We shouldn't, but that's not the budget, the players that you've got.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: Listen, I'd I'd rather be thought I've got to if manager and supporters go, you should be top of the league, good.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: That shows you you think I've got something about us.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: You've got to be respectful, ain't you?
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: Who you're up against.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: But I do agree with that.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: You've got to have that presence and that belief that we are the biggest team in this league and we should be romping a league.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: Like, get what I can win it in the tunnel sometimes.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: You're cheating, you know.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: But you know, you need to back up.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: Like I button.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: No point in having all that views and stuff.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: If you I sometimes used to go to like my YTS, used to be in the loan room, I'm going to point at me, sent them out playing against.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: You could do it back then.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Now everyone's mates, aren't you?
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: They'd only call you a prick in the dressing, you wouldn't hear from it again.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: I'd go, I'm having him today.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: Look, Ash, I'm having him, him, him.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: And you knew you'd have to do it.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: You have to.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: There's a playoff game I'm pointing at the lad opposite us and kick off and go, I'm having you.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: I'm absolutely having you, but you've got to then.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: It's like when I said last week, when you hammer your own team, you can only hammer them if you're back it up.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: That's just for self-motivation.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: It is, aye, it is like just getting yourself going.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: I don't remember.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: I was wrong.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: A few times people have went, You're having one.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: I'm like, ah yeah.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Do you know what on Saturday though?
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: I just think there'll be the crowd will be big again.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: I think they'll all be back.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Half twelve kickoff.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, not that they've left, but like I just think it's half twelve, Saturday.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: She once dropped off at your zone at all.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: That's she's not weak out.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Drobbing's all right at your zone, and that was so like half twelve kickoff.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: Half two.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's tough.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: Right, anyway.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: You were saying there you were back in how you motivated yourself, sorry, when both.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: I can't remember what I was gonna say there.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: No, I I remember like Scott Brown and stuff, like he would be very much on like self-motivation, like he would start fights to get yourself out to get him out like seeing games and stuff like that, like just grabbing a hold of people and like tussling with people for like just to get his and then they would give him a bit back, and then just before you know it, Bruni's the next 10-15 minutes.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: That's what makes him perform.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And I I've said this before like when we used to go up against him, it was almost like for me talking to like a few of the boys, like especially like John McGinn, who wants to like roll you and get his ass in.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: It's like don't get involved with like see how the we scuffles and that with Bruni, because you won't beat him like that.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: Like, see if see if you if you get the ball down in three young game, that's where you'll get the ball.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: He went in for a thingy, who comes off top?
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: McGinn v.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Brown and a like soldier bars.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: So I think of the ass, the big ass.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Ah, John's got a big ass, man.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Big ass.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I try to do?
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Not long.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: He's off balance.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: I went and done Jason Scotland.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: So that meant he was picking me up.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: I blacked out for a second.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Do you know when a player holds?
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: So he he had pinned like Danny Livesy.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: I went, keep him there, I've got him.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: So I went like that into his throat.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: Blacked out.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: All I remember is him standing over laughing.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Like was next to us, kissing his cell.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: I went, fair play.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: No, he's like that when Yama.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, he's a he was a brute, on he.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: Absolute unit, mate.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: He couldn't left 20 kilograms off the floor in the gym.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: But you put him on the pitch, mate.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Have you blindside?
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: Like, I've seen Sentinel's trying to blindside him like off the ball, as you said, like he's not seen it coming.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: And like proper government and then bounced off him.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: Remember Phil Bab?
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: Aye.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: He was like that.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: I went see you over these hoardings.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: He just went, eh.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: Stadium of life.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: He can do it.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: Like he was just laughing.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: I was going, eh.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Er McGinn we think that's a good.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Do you know back to the just back to the Carlisle game?
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: I like the goals, mate.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Just the way that the all goals were just two, three yards out, weren't they?
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: I as your boy suddenly will be at mate.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: But they've been missing guilt edge.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, they couldn't miss them, could they?
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: But Williams on that side, he's looking starting to look.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know he's right footed, but I like when they direct him in that do roo, they take some stock together.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I'd do now?
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: I'd get Danny Mayer from from 50 grand or 100 grand to say, right, come and have your last yeah.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: Just the end of this season, just come for this season, even if he doesn't play every game, he just commit, he'll get three over, give it a linny.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: I've watched him, I've commented on him since he was 25, and he's ran the show for Preston, Chef, Chef Wedd, definitely, Berry, Plymouth, very good.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: He was very good.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Um we've had I've had some calls this week from friends and agents trying to get us to do them favours on here.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: Nah, we're just gonna tell the truth.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: Fair enough.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: But I've had another mate, the agent on scene he rang a couple of his players here, and the agent gave them a ball again.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Did he?
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Said, you go nowhere from here, mind.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Got you a move.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, check it in.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: You're in a great club.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: Your managers just said you're at a big club now, you can't be hiding.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: Because some managers play Carlisle down, don't they?
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: Rob Elliott doesn't.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: He goes, they're at the some of them at the biggest club they've ever been.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I like that bottle, yeah.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: And uh their agents have got on board and went, listen, get your horse in gear because you're only gonna go down.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: It's true though, isn't it?
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: Do you know what though they've responded really well?
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: But you just wanted to continue.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: I like Bunker and the deep line midfield.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: Is that where he played?
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, more set on yeah.
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: Spoke to um to Johnny Rea, and he says Jenks a lot better, a lot better.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Uh I have speaking to a couple people say he played that and he just said good perform, just just all over the pitch.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: It does help when you go two-nil up as well.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: I'm not taking away from them, but you can pop it on you, and you like suddenly you if you go one nil down, you're heavy.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: It's you're like, oh, you've got something to hold on to, and you're like, They've done the hard part, but now it's keeping up and because now everybody's thinking, like us and fans will be thinking, when's the next blip?
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, do you know what I mean?
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: So we uh hopefully can keep on.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: So we're talking about the social media, and I've been thinking about it, and I've had a few texts what came in after these two wins.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: So, kind of the social media when we're talking about the lads posting and that, and this is over the last few years, and like we've been getting beat with Carlisle.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: This is over the years, and they've put up like an assist or a goal, and they've got fans in the Nice going class today and all that.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: So I got a text the other day saying Aziz has been unplayable the last two day games, right?
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: Right, right, so he's not been right, but then I look at it and I look at the social media and stuff, and these supporters are young lads, like early 20s and that, but because of social media and fair play to the players, they answer back, so they have a bit crack.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: So these lads are thinking they're kind of their mates, so they don't want to hammer them.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Supporters clubs, aye.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: It is I know what you mean, fan clubs, aye it's so they're kind of like so when he's put to me, as he's unplayable, I'll put behave yourself.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: Uh as he's been alright, and then like they'll go, ah, but I think this, and then the next thing you see that they've been having a crack, and they're like, Well, I've had a crack with them, and I think they're they're feeling good today.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: I'm just like relax a bit aye.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I even at File, he was alright.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: He's a bit he's different to anything they've got, isn't he?
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Like he'll find a password.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: He's good on the eye, and he's good.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's nice on the eye, that's the thing.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: But he was listening he wasn't he wasn't amazing.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: It'll be interesting when they're on but as I say, Borham Wood have got 13, 14 players, and we know better than anyone, the injuries come, but when you play like that and you've got the ball all the time, I that's nearly as hard as not having the ball because your mind they'll have to sign a few, I think, to keep up that, but then people have got to fit in with their philosophy.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: So I think I think playoffs is easy we'll still get the playoffs, I feel.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Do you think that bottom manager will he'll know this though, won't he?
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: And he'll probably have targets.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: Well he's done without that barrel lad, didn't he?
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's been a right good sign, he's scored goals, yeah.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: And the lad they got from Salford, he's fitted in well.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: As well, yeah.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: So, what I was thinking that like there's fans who are always happy, and there's fans who are always positive.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Um, and I think uh with that social media, I get it, they kind of feel a connection with them, which we've been moaning about for years.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: They're not a connection with players, so if they're backing them, they're backing them.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Um I was walking down a queue in Barnsley once to the nightclub, to the front of the queue, and all I heard was this Lumsden.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: I went, aye, went, thy shite.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Just mate Sheffield accent, you can't understand them, can you?
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: Aye, shite.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: I was thinking, but aye.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: You got any any had any grief in there when you've been out?
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: You crap.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: I got chin, didn't I?
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: Well, you shouldn't have been out.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Stoner found out, no, I don't know who it was, but uh loads of stick, loads of stick, but I remember when I first signed my Barnesy.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: We went out after a Tuesday night game one morning.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: They hadn't been playing well, and this kid just came on and went, shite, shite, shite, shite.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Got to me, went, not seeing enough.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: So I said I've had two man of the math.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: Some bowls on him, eh?
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: I just didn't it and then I think one of the lads was just gonna I think I didn't think he lasted.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: I think he got the fifth shite.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: I think Alex Neal was like grabbing him.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Uh Jack Ellis quickly, we've both we all said he should be in the team.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: You know what you're gonna get off Jack, didn't you?
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: He like he plays like he's a proper means something to him, isn't it?
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: He's gonna battle away, he knows the pressure, the globe and but he can handles the ball well.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: I think so.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: I like him in a three at the back, but also he he steps into that inverted.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: I think he's very comfortable on the ball.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Very comfortable.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: People just think he's a he's a bit of a dog and he'll he'll work his balls off, but he's very, very good on the ball.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: I had Murph on the other Sunday explaining the inverted fullback to us.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: Five minutes I'll never get it.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Murph.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: I only asked, did you guys the game?
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: No.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Um as a midfielder, did you you like to have a target man?
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: So Kelly's been out and had to play a different way.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: As a midfielder, did you used to like having a target man up there?
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: I like to sort of like sometimes, you know, around the corner when they get hold of it, Stephen Brook who was he was a target man.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: And he he was telling you the best was James Coppinger in the reserves for Newcastle.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: You could play off him, but he was he wasn't a target man, but he was always his one touch layoffs and stuff was unbelievable.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: I liked having a target man, as you say, it comes in from the right back or right winger, flip it round, or when the defender goes in, you work round and had Nial Quinn though, didn't I?
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: It's not bad, is it?
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Not bad at all.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: Carl Hawley could hold it, Derek Holmes.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've always played.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: And I though to be fair, when there's been times where they haven't had it, you kind of go, Where am I going?
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm gonna have to go out of the wing or I'm gonna have to turn it.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: I'm a bit of both eye.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: I like playing.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Gary Hooper was very good at that.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: Strong mate.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: Could it was Gary Hooper a holder up there?
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Strong mate aye.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: Was he?
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: He was quite chunky, like he carried a lot of.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: See, I just thought he was a total out now goalscorer.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: He was, but he was like C V pin sitting half just gets his arm across and died and just play it on his feet every time.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Were you trying to get him from South End when he went to Scum 4?
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: Did he?
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: He's played every league.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: He went from Grey's to South End, couldn't get a kick, came on against us.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: And uh John Moore and I like him.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: Was it John Moore?
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: It might not have been John Moore.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Someone said I like him, and then he went up to Scunthorpe and scored loads, didn't he?
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: Did he go to Scunthorpe to Celtic?
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because Norwich.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: No, no, no Norwich maybe.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: I heard Neil Lennon's uh interview about him this morning, so he got he got six points on his licence driving up to watch him, didn't he?
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Did he?
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: What's the good fact about Hooper?
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: Haircut and new pair of boots?
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, aye, every Friday.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Every single Friday.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: He was on the 10 at the sixes.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you've seen any at the weekend.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, everyone played choosing.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Aye, they were getting right fired into each other.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: So Rangers, Scott Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen, Motherwell Hibbs, Johnson, Dundee, Dundee United.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: It's like the old school masters.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: See Halty's goal, class.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, a little chimney.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: Aye, so that was back on the weekend, but it got a bit but didn't it?
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: Aye, a bit nasty then.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Aye.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: A holiday and thingy friends.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't he'll know better than me, but I've just walked together and stuff like that.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Aye, I mean if you see them on open goal together in that book.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Charlie did say I went a bit over the top or something.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: Even made Barry Frison as well.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: You're always destined to win.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: Um anyway, how was your weekend?
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: Trek.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: I left the house at half six in the morning.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: Scottish Cup.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Worth it though, eh?
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: That was brilliant.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: So you left at what?
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: Half six in the morning.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: I left Saturday morning.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: We got there at half one to where?
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: Nairn.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Where which is where?
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: North of Aberdeen.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: Like two hours to Aberdeen.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: Inverness, I we up.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Is it?
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: It took us six and a half, seven hours to get there.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: You can't be got that on the day.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: So we got there and half one night before.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I was really impressed with?
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: He went.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: The massive tub of tenants on the way back.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: See it?
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: And the picture.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: There must have been four.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: That was my proudest.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: Disclaimer's gonna be a good one.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: I never I never had anything there.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: So six hours, six and a half hours up.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Six and a half hours up.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: What time did you get the ground?
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Half one.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: We stopped once or twice for coffee and we stopped for a bit of peanut butter.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: You got some food delivered, didn't you?
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: Don't you then?
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: We might uh try and get sponsored off.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: We got some prep meals made up and we had them kind of halfway up.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: Got there to half one warm-up straight into the game, and the boys were brought in.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: We felt it was classic.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, should we name them?
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Jack Lettuce, is it?
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: I think so, yeah.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: Jack Lettuce, yeah, I think it is.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: Right, we've named you.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: Seeing the one in Scrap, look really nice, don't it?
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: Look really good.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: Uh one of the twins involved.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Ellis.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Ellis is involved, yeah.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: Um great one.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: We won one nil cut, maybe another one or two, and then the bus journey to be back, you can imagine.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: It was carnage.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: Oh, lads thinking I'm going out tonight, or that's the night out on the bus.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, to sing.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: Had you had a jack JD?
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: Do you know what though I prefer that?
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: I said this to the boys, I'd prefer we're on the bus, the music's on we're about an hour and a half in.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: I've had two or three Jack Daniels.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: You ready for it?
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: Boys are all like live.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Er sung it, nah.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: I sung erm The Monzo's.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be er 500 miles from Proclaimers.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: What's that?
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: Aye.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: What's that called?
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: The absolute Scott most Scottish Scottish song.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: I would walk five hundred miles.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: I would walk aye, whatever it is.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: But I sung that.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Done the first line and it everybody just joined.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: So you stand up in a hotel.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: I seen some of these hotel ones where the lads go for like um Mario.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I've called this before.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: There was a boy at Sunderland, um, what's his name?
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: Can't remember his name, but he was unbelievable.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: What is he sung Black and Gold, Jack?
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Is it Jack's something?
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: Have you seen Is it Jack Sparrow?
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say that, but that's fucking Captain Captains of the Caribbean.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: There's um have you seen Fulham?
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: I've fucking lost the plot.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: I've lost the plot today.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: You see the Fulham um nutritionist?
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Jack Sparrow Jack Sparrow.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say that and then he said Jack Sparrow.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: Can you superimpose a costume on him?
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: The nutritionist at Fulham got up, didn't she?
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: In the film, and she's got her first note and they all went crazy because she absolutely nailed it.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: Adam Matthew's unbelievable.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: How is he?
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Used to sing Chris Brown with you.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Andy Reid, left winger for Tottenham.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: Oh, he's the guitarist on that, isn't he?
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I thought you were going to say the kite.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: Um so good win.
- 29:26SPEAKER_00: Good win.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: Bush Johnny back with Carnage.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Brilliant.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Man of the match?
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Aye, got man in the match, played well, so it was good.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: Good man.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: Um Newcastle, you lane seven.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: Lane seven, yeah.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: Um for Hooley's kid's birthday, and then we went to Sambuka restaurant.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: Which one?
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: One in the middle.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: The one on the quayside.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, food is really good.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: Hooley was loving the red wine.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Did he have a steak?
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: Steak, red wine, mussels.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: He is his guy's had it twice.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: What did you have?
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: I went there.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: Potato skins.
- 30:01unknown: Yes.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: A pizza.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Half.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: And lasagna or something.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: No, no, me and Mrs.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: Half and Half Pasta and Pizza.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: What was the pizza carbonara?
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: Carbonara pastai.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: Penny.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: What pizza?
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: Pepperoni.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: Horrendous.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Well good.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: I went to Gibby's in town.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: Oh no pasta yesterday, yeah.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: New cheese and charcuterie board and red wine and white wine.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, very fancy, very good.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: Honestly, very, very good.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: I suggest everyone goes.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: We'll go.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: It's nice.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: During my day out, I got pulled off a lad called Lee Underwood, and he said, I've been waiting 13, 14, 15 years for this.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: I went, Oh.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: He went, I was a schoolboy in the school of excellence.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: You were my hero.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: Winning 2-0 against Chester.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: I was ball boy.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: And I threw the ball back to Chester.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: And you went in.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: Don't fucking give the ball to them.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: How old was he?
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: How old was he?
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: 13, 14.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: Like hazard with the ball boy.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: His missus was saying to my missus, he still talks about it to this day.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: You've ruined him, man.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: Trauma.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: I think it shows a winning mentality in my book.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Well, some would say otherwise, but yeah.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: Anyway, and part of that night, I've kept this from you, it's fucking brilliant.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: These two lads come over to us and Connolly's.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: Went, what do you think of Elliot?
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: I'm like, all that, all that.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: And then one of the missus came over, Kerry.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: She went, I'm fucking sick of this sight of you three.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: I was like, us three.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: She went, No, your three.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: Every night he's got yours on.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: Ah, good lads.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: And she went, bloody fuming.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: Talking of X.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: She went, We've just been bowling, pointing at one of the lads.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: Biggest dick going.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: The side kick when he's bowling.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: He pointed toe.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: She went, he's true, he's through the bowling ball and he's trailing.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: You've got to get a strike, haven't you?
- 32:09SPEAKER_00: You've got to get a strike.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: You can't not if you're doing that.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: What about the sides up?
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: Grown men can't have the sides of Grandman.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: Can't we have the sides?
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: I think we need to go for a game of ball.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: So give us a couple of others.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: She went, he's just done another one as we cross the road there.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: He pressed the button for the green man.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: Just cross the road and there's no cars coming.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: Press the green man.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: If you've got the little one that way, I'll do it.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: I'll press the button and wait.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: If you're standing like, nah, come on.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: Oven gloves.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: Use a tea to glove.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Oh no, yesterday.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: I wish I had them.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Ooh, aye.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: Aye.
- 32:50SPEAKER_00: Um carrying an umbrella.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: Not at up.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: Carrying one in case.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: No, no.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: I'd rather get wet.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: Or are you having it?
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: I've just never got an umbrella on, like in the car, no, like nothing.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: I always cut myself, I can't even put one up.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: Nah.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: Not for me.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: So bowling balls a winner.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: That's a better one.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: Nah, the push pushing the button to the green man's the best.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: Like that?
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: No, it's worse though, because people come up beside you and just walk across.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: What do you do there?
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Do you walk or do you just wait in the green man comes?
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: No.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, if I can get across, I get across.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Dylan, have you done have a I told you what to do?
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, oh show the camera.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: Can I just tell you you've done it about five minutes ago?
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: Did he?
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: Did you or did you not?
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: No, I had it in my head and then I thought I'd Right, Dylan.
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: The best 11 players you've played against, and I want a little talk on why.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: Right, obviously I've spoken about a million times about playing against Real Madrid.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: So I could have easily just wrote down the full starting eleven.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: But I've tried to I've put a couple in, obviously, because of the names.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: But my goalkeeper and my back four, I've gone more domestic, more kind of Scottish based.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: And then midfield going forward, GK.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: I've had to put them in.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: Because you hit me with what formation you playing?
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: Was it Ganny McAllister?
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: Last week, do you know what I mean?
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: Like some big hills.
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: What goal what uh formation do you play in?
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: We'll go 4-3-3.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: In goals, we'll go and go.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: I'm looking forward to this.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Right, in goals.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: Alan McGregor.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, what a start.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: Top.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: Great drinker, wasn't he?
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: Not as good as Alan Taylor, but we'll get in it.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: Alan McGregor, why?
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: Nah, he was just phenomenal, phenomenal goalkeeper.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: Like obviously I'm a Celtic fan, but like see playing again like Celtic playing against him.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Is he tall?
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: He's not overly big, like he's he's a decent size, but he's not like huge like Fraser Foster's and stuff, like 6'7s.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: Do you know he's not that big?
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: He's 6'2, 6'3, but he's one of them players you always hated.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: And I remember like Stefan Kloss and stuff back in the day.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: Do you mean like you always like?
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: But like pulling off Wonder Safe, do you mean you're like fucking hell?
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: Did he give it or not?
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: McGregor?
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: Ah, he was a character.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: So I was a young, I was a youth boy at Rangers when he was he was playing.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: And like obviously the stories and the way he is about the place, he was a proper character.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: Where is he now?
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: Coach isn't at Rangers?
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: Aye, aye.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: Um so McKinnis brought him back, which I thought was clever.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: Like try to get that more people understand the club, and you get a bit more leeway, don't you?
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: But he's um right of a canon.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Right back, we're going tavernier.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: Just for the goals assists.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: It's mad how many goals he got, isn't it?
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: Mate, it's unbelievable.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: Is he just loaning here?
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: Oh right, yeah.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: He came on loan here.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: Play with you.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: Or was he?
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: He came on loan here, and then he went to Rodrum.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: Maybe MK Dons, and every loan he went on, he got promoted.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: Every time he went on loan, he got promoted, and then might have gone on loan, but he might have signed.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: Was it Matt Warmington or something that signed him, maybe?
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: I think it might have been from being down here.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, the Brit used to be Brentford manager and that Walberton.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: But honestly, like see playing against him.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: He's popping up and like he's in the last line, like making runs into the box and that he's playing right back, would whipping balls out in the box, and then Lee Wallace is like crossing balls in, he's in the back post.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: Like just would your manager not though target him as like McGee, would you say get a Tavernir?
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: He can't defend.
- 36:30SPEAKER_00: And this could he defend it?
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: One of the biggest things about Tavnier is they would say he can't defend, and it is near strong point, probably like Trent as well.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, you think well it was good going forward, he can't really defend.
- 36:39SPEAKER_00: But obviously, you can defend, but see, I always remember see the Scottish Cup final with Hibbs, Neil, sorry, no Neil Lennon, Alan Stubbs and the team and stuff.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: One of the big things was Stokes was like drifting out to the left.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: Did you play with Ansi Stokes?
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: I can unbelievable the worst ever home.
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the biggest ever.
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: Like the biggest he was too much.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: Like honestly, this guy, like, you could write a book.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: It was a Tuesday, it was a Tuesday in the gate in the Lloyd, quiet as out.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: I think the table was on fire.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: The chef was gonna kill him.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Mate, see the boys he runs about with as well.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, really.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: Mate, he turned up to um Charles McGru' Stagdu, got to flight over and all that, and then met up with these these guys, mate, turned up to Ocean Beach.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: Like, see the Mike Tyson tattoo?
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: This Irish guy, right?
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: Bald bulldog, mate, big big tattoo in his face and that, like just hanging a dog.
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: Boys are like fucking scared to be able to do it.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: But they're saying that.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: Like honestly, like fucking aye, like some of the boys, like obviously it's reported like he's aye, he knows a few dodgy characters, but he's he's some he's some boy.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: So he nullified him.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: So Stokes just drifted out in the wing and he's uh you see the cup final he scores and drifts by him and stuff like that like you could get at him, but Tavenier for like goals and assists was I think he's I think he's actually the one of the two goal scoring defenders in in Britain.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: I might be wrong, but I'm sure he's up there like one on top.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: He was on Carlisle's radar.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: We wanted him to ring before he went to Turkey.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: So it was you've said this before.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: So they brought in this thing called data some of what they call data.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: So when the Americans first came in, just data and it flagged up the best right backs in like the country.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: Did they not ask did he ask the question to get them in or something?
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: But Rangers sort of like less money.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: I'm sure this was probably just probably just after he'd been to like the European Cup final.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: When he's capped it.
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: Where's your ambition, Paul?
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: Hey, he may want to be closer to the closer to home.
- 38:47SPEAKER_00: Right, left back.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: So left back we went Kear Tierney.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah?
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Oh class.
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: Is he though?
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: He has been.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: He's a good player.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: I'm just asking.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: Um orthodox.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: He is, he's he's kind of I wouldn't say awkward, but he's not like technically like amazing, but just like up and down the pitch.
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: Does he drink?
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: I think he drinks like he was a young boy when I was there, and I don't know him personally that well.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: And he wasn't one of the best coming through, was he?
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: No.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: He wasn't really like on the radar of the the city.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: But see as a coach, see if you were a coach or a manager, you would love this boy.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: Because he would listen, he was humble, he just wanted to like he was a Celtic fan, he just wanted to play, he just wanted to play.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: Kind of like the boy Donovan now.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you've seen many of the games.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: Boy, he plays right back sometimes, just heart of a line, do you know what I mean?
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: Like tackle a brick wall, like just loves being there.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: And Katie, he was like that.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: You speak at like his first training session, like smashing boys, like young boy, yeah.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: Seven halves.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: I bet you I know one.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't think you all these are out of the box a wee bit.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: One Celtic, one Rangers.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: Go on there.
- 39:50SPEAKER_00: Calvin Bassey, player.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: He was like a Rolls Royce at the back.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: Gerard's interview, he was praising him to the villa now.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: Is he?
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: No, he's uh full him.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: Follow him.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: I thought he went to villa.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: He's kinda I don't know, but it's no silly saying it, but like a Van Dyke kinda like he looked too big and too strong.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: English.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'm not sure.
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: Maybe we would have had a call-up shit.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: I don't find out.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: But like now that sometimes he's doing things and you're thinking that's too easy for him.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: Now strong boy, good in the ball, playing stepping in, really good player.
- 40:27SPEAKER_00: And the other one was Nigeria.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: Because he's playing for Nigeria.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: So he has.
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: Christoph Eyer.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: Boy at Celtic, who's uh Brentford.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: Good player, mate.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: Very good player.
- 40:41SPEAKER_00: Same again, very good in the ball, stepping.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: See when you played against Celtic, like you were all man for man, loads of movement and rotations and stuff, and you would try to leave like sitting a half.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: I sent off the strikers like pressing him, and he's just like stepping by him into midfield, and then you're marking him, and he's just charging through right through the middle of the pitch.
- 40:59SPEAKER_00: And then they get to like 20 yards out, and everybody's shouting like go pr and then they're just popping it around you.
- 41:03SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: So he was a top player, mate.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: Right now we've got past the last picks at school.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: That's a good team, by the way.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: And there's defenders, that's a good team.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: You're a defender if you can't mate.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: Conceiving for phone book, go on.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: Are you I'm gonna go to the back of the bigger?
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: Oh go on.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: No, it's not a it's not on your team, it's not on your team, I've been.
- 41:24SPEAKER_00: I'm saying defenders in in general.
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: Just having a bite here.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: I mean defenders in general.
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: Right, yeah, midfield.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: Are you having a sitter or not?
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: Or just no, we'll go a sitter.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: Go on then.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: Go on then.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: Chavi Alonso.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, there we are.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: There we go, they're the big boys.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: I reckon he's changed that.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: I'll just stop them.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: Alonso sitting just dictating the play.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: Oh two eights ahead of him.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: Who?
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: Stephen Gerrard.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: Aye.
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: Played against him against Liverpool at the Aviva stadium in Ireland.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: Phenomenal.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: How good though?
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: Like he was don't get me wrong, he wasn't like he wasn't full pelt because it was like a preseason game and it was just an the occasion, do you know what I mean?
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: But like see when he ran it for the warm-up, just the noise, obviously Celtic and Liverpool over there in Ireland.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: But like I didn't realise how tall he was and like lean and strong he looked, huge, just had a presence, and you can see him now, like you watch his interviews and that, like he's just so likable.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, do you know what I mean?
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: And like you could just think imagine that was your manager, um aye, top, and then the other number eight was um Kaka.
- 42:37SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm going on.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get some people we playing again.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: This is a fucking joke.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: At one time, best player in the world.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, I loved him.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: Do you know see that game we played against him like in Philadelphia?
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: That was obviously Ronaldo played and stuff, but Kaka was the like Kaka was the one I was like buzzing, like proper buzzing, like wanted to be close to him and like sometimes just like running, like just kind of marking them and that.
- 43:02SPEAKER_00: Just I wanted to just see him in the flesh.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: I'm just wondering where Skips Jason Cool has getting that's what he's getting for battle on my by five.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: He had a different team, didn't he?
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: I was battering defenders, not your team.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Nah, he said once the last picks have been right er we'll go on the left?
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: I will start with the left, Catino Liverpool.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: In that case, I was a bowler.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: I I could have went De Maria or uh somewhere else, somebody like that, but I went with Catino.
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: Come on, then right.
- 43:40SPEAKER_00: Er No, we'll go through the middle.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: Go on, go on then.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: No, I actually No we'll go through the middle, the way it's lined up.

- 43:53SPEAKER_00: No, we used to play in a reserve game one of your boys.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: Carry on.
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: Right.

- 51:43SPEAKER_00: Whispers just like they just disappear.
- 51:46SPEAKER_00: I went to my auntie's other day.
- 51:48SPEAKER_00: You know how I only have one cup of tea every three weeks because I have four and a half sugars.

- 55:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, I wish I never watched this.
- 55:19SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 55:20SPEAKER_00: River plate.
- 55:21SPEAKER_00: Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Inter Miami.
- 55:29SPEAKER_00: Shake career.
- 55:32SPEAKER_00: Send it forward.
- 55:36SPEAKER_00: Say it again.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: I think I I think I might know it.
- 55:38SPEAKER_00: River Plate, Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Inter Miami.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: I want to say Hearn and Crespo.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: You can say it.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: Well I will say it then.
- 55:53SPEAKER_00: You're wrong.
- 55:54SPEAKER_00: Thanks.
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: That's not a bad thingy, because I was it AC Milan, Chelsea.
- 56:01SPEAKER_00: That was the sort of rubber play.
- 56:04SPEAKER_00: Centre forward.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: Centre forward.
- 56:06SPEAKER_00: It was carrion at a certain point.
- 56:10SPEAKER_00: No, but he was carrying.
- 56:12SPEAKER_00: A bit like that.
- 56:14SPEAKER_00: He was arsed when he went into Miami.
- 56:20SPEAKER_00: Nah, he got us this week.
- 56:24SPEAKER_00: Yes?
- 56:25SPEAKER_00: Hegwain.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: I'm sure he may have played that again.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: Fucking hell we go, Real Madrid again.
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: No, he might not.
- 56:33SPEAKER_01: Probably did.
- 56:34SPEAKER_00: He probably did.
- 56:35SPEAKER_00: Did he get on your bench?
- 56:36SPEAKER_00: Gonzalo, Heguain.
- 56:39SPEAKER_00: Are we ready?
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: Arsenal, Brentford, Roma, Juventus, Barcelona.
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: Slow down.
- 56:46SPEAKER_00: Arsenal, Brentford.
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: Roma, Juventus, and Barcelona.
- 56:54SPEAKER_00: Juventus Barcelona have come in strong this week.

- 57:01SPEAKER_00: Juventus Barcelona.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: Some of my mates are on this like they love this.
- 57:13SPEAKER_00: Arsenal, Brentford, Roma, Juventus, Barcelona.
- 57:19SPEAKER_00: He played a lot at Arsenal.
- 57:23SPEAKER_00: He played a lot at Roma and Juventus.
- 57:30SPEAKER_00: More than he probably should have at Juventus, I think.
- 57:34SPEAKER_00: I think he's a keeper.
- 57:36SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: Is it yes?
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: Chesney.
- 57:40SPEAKER_00: Correct.
- 57:40SPEAKER_00: What's his first name?
- 57:42SPEAKER_00: John.
- 57:47SPEAKER_00: You like the bounty?
- 57:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:49SPEAKER_00: Chesney?
- 57:50SPEAKER_00: I'm not even gonna try to say his first name either.
- 57:53SPEAKER_00: Last one.
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: And then I've got one for the viewers.
- 57:56SPEAKER_00: For us.
- 57:57SPEAKER_00: St.
- 57:57SPEAKER_00: Johnston, Sunderland, Rangers, Kilmarnock.

- 58:05SPEAKER_00: Uh Alan Johnson.
- 58:07SPEAKER_00: Nah.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: No, it's not.
- 58:10SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, good.
- 58:12SPEAKER_00: Good from you, but no.
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: No.
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: St.

- 58:23SPEAKER_00: St Johnston, Sunderland, Rangers, Kilmarnock.
- 58:27SPEAKER_00: Who went from Sunderland to Rangers?
- 58:37SPEAKER_00: Nah.
- 58:39SPEAKER_00: It's not something not something I played there, is it?
- 58:41SPEAKER_00: I hope not.
- 58:42SPEAKER_00: Oh is it back in the day?
- 58:44SPEAKER_00: It's probably one of your best mates.

- 59:04SPEAKER_00: Crap at Sunderland.
- 59:06SPEAKER_00: I didn't even know he was there.
- 59:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, he finished it.
- 59:09SPEAKER_00: Commander, didn't he?
- 59:10SPEAKER_00: We went up to uh Glasgow, Peter Reed took us to Glasgow and we ended up in a bar.
- 59:15SPEAKER_00: Ali McCoyst was in there, and Marty Pello, a threat.
- 59:21SPEAKER_00: Some stories about McCoy saidn't I he's a guide though.
- 59:24SPEAKER_00: Oh he's funny.
- 59:25SPEAKER_00: He was a good looking bastard back in the back.
- 59:27SPEAKER_00: He was like a film on he.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: Someone shouting it at the thingy as well.
- 59:34SPEAKER_00: You spoke about that in the middle of the five years.
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: I went to the open goal at the Hydro, the last one.
- 59:41SPEAKER_00: Celtic people love him, don't they?
- 59:43SPEAKER_00: He's a legend, do you know, in Scotland, but he's a proper Rangers man, do you know what I mean?
- 59:47SPEAKER_00: But he's he's well loved.
- 59:48SPEAKER_00: But um I'm sure he spoke about that game.
- 59:51SPEAKER_00: They were taking penalties or something like that.
- 59:52SPEAKER_00: It was like I can't remember the name of it.
- 59:54SPEAKER_00: The movie though.
- 59:54SPEAKER_00: Shot Devori.
- 59:55SPEAKER_00: Shot of the Glory, that was it.
- 59:57SPEAKER_00: With Singh Deval.
- 59:58SPEAKER_00: No, who else was in it?
- 59:59SPEAKER_00: Um Louis Fengsen's dad, Derek Ferguson.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_00: I'm sure they were speaking about that.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_00: What's his face?
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_00: I might watch it.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_00: Guess what I watched the other night?
- 1:00:09SPEAKER_00: Absolute go-to lock stock.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_00: Good film.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_00: I've not seen that in years.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_00: And then Damned United.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_00: You watch the Brian Cliff, Damned United.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_00: You wouldn't have watched it.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_00: Watch it.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_00: Just watch it.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_00: Will you watch it?
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_00: I've not seen it, but I want to watch it.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_00: No, I want to.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_00: Right, for the viewers.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_00: This is who am I?
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_00: Colo Colo.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_00: Bay Ali of a Kuzen.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_00: Juventus.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_00: Bayern Munich.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_00: Barcelona.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_00: Inter Milan.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_00: Flamingo.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_00: Colo Colo.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_00: So there'll be someone who knows it.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_00: No cheating.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_00: No cheating.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_00: There will somewhere.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_00: Watch this for them to get in.

- 1:01:10SPEAKER_00: I will send you a link.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, for the big donations.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_00: Um, you got any ideas on that one?
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_00: Nah, not a clue.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_00: Quick little uh question from Jeff Half, who is doing the quiz on Saturday night at the Holston.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, you're going, aren't you?
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_00: Dylan's team.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to get a babysitter to go.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_00: Try to get a babysitter.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_00: I love a quiz night.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_00: A few drinks, have a laugh, yeah.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_00: Sing.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_00: A few Jack Diamonds, yeah.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_00: Who has won the FA Cup with both Liverpool and Everton?
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_00: From Jeff.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_00: I got it.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_00: Peter Beasley?
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_00: No, but I was that was in my head.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_00: So Beasley you've got to think of Gary Ablett.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_00: Gary Ablett, God rest his soul.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_00: Played with them at Blackpool when he was 34-35.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_00: You died young, didn't you?
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_00: Done a quiz on the bus every time.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_00: Classed, had a quiz ready.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: Like you'd say, like 11 players who played for Newcastle since two seasons ago started with the game.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_00: And then everybody's old.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_00: And you're like, fucking yes.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_00: Um he won it for Liverpool probably a couple of times, and then Everton.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_00: Good player, man.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_00: Very good.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_00: That team at Blackpool I went alone with.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_00: Kevin Richardson.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: In the league with Everton, won the league with Arsenal, won the UEFA Cup, Gary Ablet, league title, FA Cup, Mike Newell.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: Mike Newell.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: Steve Athorn was the manager.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_00: Just like ah black hells.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_00: Just five aside all the time.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_00: Right, quick fire quiz.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_00: What was the only club managed by John Aldridge?
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_00: I know, I'll just give him a win one thing.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_00: Do you want to have a go?
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_00: I failed the name as well.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_00: I can't remember who you managed.
- 1:02:52SPEAKER_00: Gunner.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_00: What console manufacturer did Arsenal have on their shirt from 1999 to 2002?
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_00: Samsung.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_00: Console.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_00: I'm just shooting random fucking what's that?
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_00: Console?
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_00: I don't know where you've gone, my Samsung.
- 1:03:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, totally.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_00: Come on, thing.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_00: Invincible.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_00: Maybe not Invincibles, when they want winners.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_00: Which former Bournemouth player joined Spurs in a free in 2026?
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_00: Not Solanke would be before that, won't it?
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_00: And it was a free.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_00: Erm.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_00: Don't know.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_00: Marco Senansi.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_00: Who was Republic of Ireland's record scorer?
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_00: Robbie Keane.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_00: Where did LeCarco start his career?
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_00: Belgium.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_01: Boys Club.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_01: Did they know it?
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_01: Did they know it?
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_01: They probably did.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_01: Belgium boys, don't they?
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_00: Don't know.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_00: And elect?
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_00: Come on, boys.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_00: I knew that.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_00: Jack Robinson is the c it's which club's youngest Premier League player?
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_00: Liverpool.
- 1:04:07unknown: Yes.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_00: I think I won that one.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_00: You've had a good week.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_00: I have.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_00: We'll just try to cheat him up.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_00: Just a bad day.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_00: What's the crack?
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_00: Hi guys, loving the pod, and I mean loving it.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_00: A great mix of footy, crack, and piss taking.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_00: If you lads could play for any team in all four divisions, who would it be?
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_00: So League 2, League One, Champion Prem.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_00: Doesn't have to be a team you support, it could be a manager, ground, fans, wages, anything.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_00: I'll take Man City with a double.
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_00: Sorry, that's not so I went who I would have liked to have played for.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_00: So I would like to play for Newcastle, of course, goes without saying.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_00: Probably under the Keegan era.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_00: I would have liked to have played for Swansea City because every time we played them, it's a city on its own, isn't it?
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_00: Nice ground.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_00: Everyone lived there.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_00: Danny Graham and that.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_00: They said all the lads just lived in an apartment block.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_00: He was top drawer there, wasn't he?
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_00: So lived in an apartment block.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_00: All the lads in the same apartment block.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_00: So it was Carnage.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_00: Brendan Rogers.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_00: What's he called?
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_00: Belgium manager now, Portugal.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_00: Martinez.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_00: Martinez was manager.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_00: Good club, isn't it?
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_00: Paulo Sosa said it was class.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_00: League one, or any league, Chef Wed.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_00: Every time I played there, you get loads of time on the ball.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_00: I enjoyed playing there.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: Supporters were always good.
- 1:05:29SPEAKER_00: The two Sheffield teams are big clubs, aren't they?
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_00: I think I'd be a good city to stay as well.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_00: And York City, if I was down the leagues, because nice little place to live.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_00: Mine was just Newcastle because I was so close to it.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_00: Obviously, you've got you got to play for Celtic, you got to play for Sundham, but I just didn't quite get there.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_00: Um and when they come out to that local hero song, it's it's goosebumps stuff in it.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_00: Like the atmosphere and stuff, so that was mine.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_00: I'll go Wrexham.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was thinking of that just with the whole fairy tale.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_00: Like uh and see knowing like one of the boys was on the PFA camp last year with me and he'd just been released from Wrexham and I was asking him about it, and he's like honestly, the best couple of years of my life.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_00: Uh he's like the promotions, the atmosphere, he's like the Vegas where would you have gone from Sunderland to there if 'cause there would have been National League, would you have gone?
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_00: I you didn't know.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_00: Probably not, no one you didn't know like that they were gonna go back to back, do you know what I mean?
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_00: And like climb up the league.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_00: I think you probably knew they were gonna get there though eventually, yeah.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_00: But like the stories of like when they went to Vegas and stuff with the the celebrities and the tables they had they said they were at these these pool parties and that, and there's like proper big hitters there and they're like Wrexham.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_00: I've got like the best table and the dining club, the the bottle shows and all that, Wrexham and all it like just crazy.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what he said to them in the National League, the players after the second season, he just went, Listen, I know football isn't always like the big player down here, so if you're just starting a side hustle, we'll help you and we'll put a platform for you.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_00: So that's when um the big centre forward started to close.
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_00: There's a few with the football academies and stuff like that, like they're back to eye either.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_00: They've said that if he's what to do anything, like we'll back his Paul Mullen benefit off that, didn't he?
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_00: Massively because he drew famous off that he was gonna go League One and stay there, and he went drop two divisions.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_00: That's right, just Cambridge, yeah, and he scored shitloads, didn't he?
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_00: Um managers Keegan, Klopp, Martin O'Neill, and Nigel Clough.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Nigel Clough, because apparently you get all sorts of days off, he always takes you away, and his management simple.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_00: I think he'd be difficult though.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_00: Do you know think like that?
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_00: You don't know uh like he could love you, but and then he could absolutely ruin you as well.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_00: But just to say you've played under them right enough would be even top, wouldn't it?
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_00: Um last one.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_00: Do you like my choice, Chef Where?
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_00: It's quite up there.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: That was one of my favourite games.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_00: I remember it was Boxing Day, and we beat them 3-2, just it was Hillsburg was full.
- 1:07:59SPEAKER_00: So your pitch was big at Port Wheel, but wasn't the same?
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_00: Your pitch was like, uh.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_00: It was just too big, you know, for some reason.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_00: Um next question through footballer in general, lads, who is the most famous person you have come across?
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_00: In fact, footballer and non-footballer?
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_00: I bumped into Gaza in the Metro Centre, and my missus didn't know who he was.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Which Gaza was a few?
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_00: And I was like, that's like get on.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_00: She didn't know who Paul Gas she didn't know he was, but didn't know who Paul Gasner was.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_00: He was with a daughter, but she knew her, didn't she?
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_00: Bianca.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_00: And I was like, See, that would annoy me that.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_00: I was going like that.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_00: Like there's one or two people like in Britain that it's like Beckham and Gazner, and like there's a few that just but you know what I went up, and obviously I'm he's my hero and that, so I got my picture took and after about an hour later, she's like, You're still buzzing off that picture, aren't you?
- 1:08:50SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you don't understand.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_00: That's something you drag out like 30-40 years later, then it's like you've said players any other ones apart from not players.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_00: Well, still football related, but it wasn't on the pitch.
