Speaker 1: Respect must be given to other adults, including school authorities.

Speaker 1: I know, you know, our kids just went back to school.

Speaker 1: This is month number two, right, and month number three

Speaker 1: for some people. And school is like where my daughter goes.

Speaker 1: There's bomb threats, you know, and it's like scary business man.

Speaker 1: And people are out there confused and out there hurt,

Speaker 1: and they want to hurt other people, and they have

Speaker 1: lack of respect. And I believe if they know how

Speaker 1: to show respect, or if they're respected themselves, or they'll

Speaker 1: listen to themselves, they will be much better off in

Speaker 1: Commanding respect means that we are developing a lifestyle in

Speaker 1: that makes any sense. Titus Chapter three, verses one and two,

Speaker 1: let's read it. Remind people to be subject to rulers

Speaker 1: and authorities, to be obedient very important, to be ready

Speaker 1: and willing to do good. Love it to slander or

Speaker 1: abuse no one. To be kind and conciliatory and gentle. Conciliatory,

Speaker 1: I guess means that you're reconciling, you're respectful, you're forgiving,

Speaker 1: showing unqualified consideration and courtesy towards everyone. So in this

Speaker 1: verse it's all out. God is all out saying, be respectful,

Speaker 1: be obedient, and be ready and willing to do good.

Speaker 1: Not forced to do good. This is not a forced life.

Speaker 1: Being a christ follower is not a forced life. People

Speaker 1: are forcing it. People are doing too much in their

Speaker 1: Christian life. They're trying to do too much. They're trying

Speaker 1: to be over humble, they're trying to be over good,

Speaker 1: and what happens is they start getting religious, they're not

Speaker 1: even being real to themselves. They become like somebody else

Speaker 1: that they're not even who they are. Amen. And I

Speaker 1: don't think that's what God wants from us. He wants

Speaker 1: us to follow him right, follow Christ. We follow his word,

Speaker 1: president of a multimillion dollar organization. Let's go, let's be gentle,

Speaker 1: that we move differently, shows people that we love differently.

Speaker 1: I'm a concerned person. I'm an observant person and a

Speaker 1: watchful person. I watch everything around me. Amen. I don't

Speaker 1: know if that's because where I'm from, how I grew up,

Speaker 1: oblivious walking into unknown, charted, uncharted areas without looking around

Speaker 1: you down and you just look at them and you're like, well,

Speaker 1: And buy some versus men and women? Women and men.

Speaker 1: be submissive to those who are older. So usually when

Speaker 1: you're in school, usually your teachers, unless you're in college,

Speaker 1: and sometimes if you're a college student, you're a professor

Speaker 1: might be around the same age. But when you're an

Speaker 1: elementary school, your teachers are older. When you're in junior

Speaker 1: high school or middle school, your teachers are older. When

Speaker 1: you're in high school, your teachers are older. So young men,

Speaker 1: in the same way, be submissive to those who are older.

Speaker 1: All of you, all of you clothe yourselves with humility

Speaker 1: toward one another. Why should we do that? Because God

Speaker 1: opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. So

Speaker 1: when you're in school, ladies and gentlemen, respect your teacher,

Speaker 1: show honor, and they might not all get it right.

Speaker 1: The teachers. I heard some stories about professors in college

Speaker 1: that are trying to discourage people who believe in Christ

Speaker 1: for whatever reason. Amen, they're trying to discredit the scriptures.

Speaker 1: They're trying to push other teachings like like what is

Speaker 1: it called man? Their word just left my mind, like evolution, right.

Speaker 1: They want to push that. They want to push gender

Speaker 1: ideologies on the college students. They want to dismantle the

Speaker 1: scriptures as a myth. They want to just discourage for

Speaker 1: whatever reason. Like I said, I don't know all the scenarios,

Speaker 1: but I've heard stories. I've heard testimonies of students that

Speaker 1: are on fire for the Lord. They going to college,

Speaker 1: and their fire is trying to be put out by

Speaker 1: people who hate the Gospel. They hate our God and

Speaker 1: for whatever reason. But when you show them respect, it's

Speaker 1: hard for them to come back at you in a

Speaker 1: weird way because you know they're trying to beat you

Speaker 1: down with their ideology and beliefs, and you're trying to

Speaker 1: lift them up with respect and love. It's an opponent, right,

Speaker 1: somebody who's filled with hatred, you show them love, they

Speaker 1: get dismantled, and that hatred starts simmering down. Unless they

Speaker 1: have a mental condition, that hatred will start simmering down.

Speaker 1: And if they do have a mental condition, you just

Speaker 1: pray the name of Jesus peace over their mind. In

Speaker 1: the name of Jesus, the word of God is more

Speaker 1: powerful than anybody's mental condition. Trust me, I've done it

Speaker 1: and I know it to be true. God's word is powerful,

Speaker 1: more powerful than any other power out there. But when

Speaker 1: you show respect, you are lining yourself up to be

Speaker 1: used by God to be a bridge for somebody to

Speaker 1: get more hope, to get more courage, to get lifted up,

Speaker 1: not beat down. I never showed somebody respect to beat

Speaker 1: them down because it doesn't make any sense. But people

Speaker 1: will try to beat me down with their ideas and

Speaker 1: their words and all that stuff. But when I show

Speaker 1: them respect, and you can do the same, show them respect,

Speaker 1: watch their response. It's gonna like throw them back a

Speaker 1: little bit of like, wait, I'm trying to disrespect you.

Speaker 1: I'm trying to get into an argument with you. I'm

Speaker 1: trying to get you angry. Why are you showing me respect?

Speaker 1: Because they don't understand that we're rolling a different way.

Speaker 1: We're moving a different way. We're moving led by the

Speaker 1: Spirit of God. We're not being led by the flesh

Speaker 1: no more. The flesh is old. The flesh wants to

Speaker 1: do old things. The flesh wants to do ungodly things.

Speaker 1: The flesh wants to do what the flesh does. Mother,

Speaker 1: the spirit of God is willing all the time, willing

Speaker 1: to do what, willing to do good, Like the Scripture

Speaker 1: is good, Be ready to do whatever is good, to

Speaker 1: slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to

Speaker 1: show true humility towards certain people, just women, just men,

Speaker 1: just Christians. No doesn't say that it says, toward all men,

Speaker 1: a natural thing to do for me? It's not natural,

Speaker 1: supernatural because I don't like to be disrespected. And I
