- 0:48Speaker 2: and hello bugs. How are you?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Hi Pal, I'm very well, thank you. How are you?
- 0:53Speaker 2: I'm doing very well. That's funny because we just talked yesterday.
- 0:58Speaker 2: We did a pod last night.
- 0:59Speaker 3: And we saw each other day before.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I know, but I feel like we didn't really chat
- 1:03Speaker 2: about that. You just turned to another year older.
- 1:06Speaker 3: That's right. I'm forty one now, I think is what
- 1:09Speaker 3: that means?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, it's correct. Yeah, we had a little get together.
- 1:13Speaker 2: We got to see each other in person. Yeah, that's
- 1:15Speaker 2: what we didn't do. We didn't take a picture.
- 1:18Speaker 3: We sure didn't, did we.
- 1:20Speaker 2: We always forget.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe that's a good sign. We're always just having
- 1:24Speaker 3: so much fun.
- 1:25Speaker 2: We're just two in the moment, just hanging.
- 1:27Speaker 3: It was really great. You and the whole crew came.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It was so fun. It was so fun to have
- 1:32Speaker 3: everybody there with their kiddos. That was fun. I liked it.
- 1:35Speaker 2: That was a fun idea.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I liked it, And that place worked out great.
- 1:38Speaker 3: It was kind of what I anticipated, and it was lovely.
- 1:42Speaker 3: People kind of came and went as they could too. Yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 3: we had a good crew there. It was fun.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Yeah, for the listeners. There's a very cool spot here
- 1:50Speaker 2: in the Minneapolis area called Surly Brewing. Yeah, they used
- 1:56Speaker 2: to be up in Brooklyn Center, right, I think that's right.
- 1:59Speaker 2: That sounds right, and they have since moved to Minneapolis
- 2:03Speaker 2: and pretty great.
- 2:05Speaker 3: That place is humongous.
- 2:07Speaker 2: It really good. Yeah, pizza was crazy good.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that. I mean that wasn't a small
- 2:17Speaker 3: portion of why I picked that place, you know what,
- 2:19Speaker 3: because I just love that pizza so much. But even
- 2:22Speaker 3: all the food downstairs is all really good too. It's
- 2:25Speaker 3: super tasty. Yeah, I liked it. It worked out perfectly.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I had a blueberry cranber le a after you guys left. Hello,
- 2:34Speaker 3: it was great.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I've never had that. That sounds interesting either.
- 2:38Speaker 3: I liked it. It was fun. It had some like
- 2:39Speaker 3: blueberry compote at the bottom and a few bloobs on
- 2:43Speaker 3: the top there. It was nice and bloobs and bloobs
- 2:45Speaker 3: on the top there.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I like that. Yeah, I'd steal the bloobes from you, oh.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Boy, and I would. I just ate so much food
- 2:54Speaker 3: that day though.
- 2:55Speaker 2: That's great, sounded like a good day.
- 2:57Speaker 3: It was a lovely day. It was a lovely day.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I took, if anyone from work is listening, a pre
- 3:03Speaker 3: planned day off from work. It was just so nice.
- 3:09Speaker 3: We hadn't talked about weather yet, so there we are.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But we went a couple of minutes. That what I
- 3:15Speaker 2: just said, It was nice out.
- 3:17Speaker 3: It was nice, yeah, which I liked. But yeah, I
- 3:20Speaker 3: just read some stuff. It was great. It was awesome.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It's what he's up to, you know. We did a
- 3:26Speaker 2: little run. We did three shows in two in North Dakota,
- 3:31Speaker 2: one in Iowa. The last one was for the Iowa's
- 3:35Speaker 2: Iowa Choral Director Association.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Oh that's fun.
- 3:39Speaker 2: It was so much fun. So probably the best that
- 3:42Speaker 2: any of the sing alongs have ever gone.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Where? You guess, like we got to really hit our
- 3:48Speaker 3: cutoffs tonight. Guys, like we're gonna be on that for sure.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Let's not let's go drift too far. But Northwest Passage.
- 3:57Speaker 2: It was like the most fun version of that ever,
- 3:59Speaker 2: just them singing it back at us.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I got a little choked up even it was so pretty.
- 4:06Speaker 2: That was kind of fun. That was in a place
- 4:08Speaker 2: called Pella, Iowa. We did a cappella Pella, Iowa. Uh
- 4:14Speaker 2: it's an our southeast of Des Moines. Oh okay, cool,
- 4:21Speaker 2: not too far away. That's a little Dutch town. So
- 4:25Speaker 2: they have like windmills and in this world the freak Dutch. Yeah,
- 4:34Speaker 2: I love the Dutch.
- 4:35Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Yeah, So it was. It was a fun It was
- 4:38Speaker 2: a fun three show run. All the shows were great,
- 4:40Speaker 2: a lot of energy coming back at us and we
- 4:43Speaker 2: got a little spoiled. It was fun.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Y'all are about to hate it too, right, like it's.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Starting we are. We have another couple shows next week,
- 4:51Speaker 2: then we do the getaway and then it gets busy.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Yeah crazy forgot about the getaway. We got to make
- 4:58Speaker 3: some plans we do just make a couple of games.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I guess it's not really that much planning we did it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Probably have to watch some movies beforehand. Speaking of that, Oh,
- 5:07Speaker 2: what was the last movie you watched?
- 5:10Speaker 3: I saw a movie I've been meaning to see for
- 5:12Speaker 3: a while. It's on Hulu and it's called Ready or Not.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I finally watched that one.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I remember you were texting me and you're like, I
- 5:21Speaker 2: saw hide and Seek and then I saw too and
- 5:25Speaker 2: I was like, hide and Seek movie, dude, there's like
- 5:28Speaker 2: twelve Hide and Seek movies.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I felt dumb. But they play hide and Seek in it,
- 5:33Speaker 3: so I felt like, you know, at least there's that.
- 5:36Speaker 3: This is Samarrow Weaving again. I love her right now.
- 5:40Speaker 3: She's in so much star on a Weaving kick. I
- 5:42Speaker 3: really am. This was a super interesting movie. Definitely horror comedy,
- 5:48Speaker 3: you know, actiony kind of thing. The whole thing is
- 5:52Speaker 3: like Sam Arow Weaving gets married to Adrian Brody, Adam Brody,
- 5:57Speaker 3: Adam Brody. They married, and then the like he's part
- 6:03Speaker 3: of this really rich family and she finds out they
- 6:05Speaker 3: do this weird game night the night of a wedding
- 6:10Speaker 3: and it turns out to be a nasty game night,
- 6:14Speaker 3: so nasty. Yeah, things get crazy I really liked this
- 6:18Speaker 3: movie though. I thought was really fun. I think she's
- 6:21Speaker 3: really she's so funny. I really like her. She was
- 6:24Speaker 3: in that Over Your Dead Body movie as well that
- 6:28Speaker 3: we talked about. Kind of similar vibe to that, right, Like,
- 6:30Speaker 3: there's a gory stuff, there's action, there's some comedy, but
- 6:34Speaker 3: it's it's pretty great. It's She's really fun and compelling
- 6:37Speaker 3: to watch. So I really enjoyed it. I thought it
- 6:39Speaker 3: was fun. So if you liked that kind of dark
- 6:41Speaker 3: comedy or horror slasher kind of thing, I think you're
- 6:45Speaker 3: gonna enjoy it.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I want to check it out. Violent, you know not?
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yeah, So that's like that.
- 6:52Speaker 2: That they will kill you. It seems similar to that.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yes, very very similar, very similar. But yeah, I think
- 6:59Speaker 3: specifically you're going to enjoy it for sure.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Cool.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna check it out for sure.
- 7:03Speaker 3: It's out on LU. How about you?
- 7:05Speaker 5: What he is?
- 7:07Speaker 2: I went to the theater and saw the new Olivia
- 7:10Speaker 2: wild film. Oh I'm seeing that, you are?
- 7:15Speaker 3: I am? Yeah?
- 7:16Speaker 5: Nice?
- 7:18Speaker 2: So yeah, this is Olivia Wilde and Seth Rogan. They
- 7:21Speaker 2: play a couple. They're clearly not in a great place
- 7:24Speaker 2: in their relationship. Uh, and they invite the cool sexy
- 7:28Speaker 2: couple who lives above them, played by Penelope Cruz and
- 7:30Speaker 2: Edward Norton. It feels like a play with all the dialogue.
- 7:36Speaker 2: But Olivia Wilders wrecked the crap out of this.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I've heard that from a few people. Now, that's awesome.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It's so good man. It never feels stale or like
- 7:46Speaker 2: it needs to move along, which is I think really
- 7:49Speaker 2: impressive when it's like in just one San Francisco apartment
- 7:53Speaker 2: for the full hour and a half. I was super entertained.
- 7:58Speaker 2: All four of these actors incredible. The script was funny
- 8:01Speaker 2: and sad and all the things. It was honestly one
- 8:06Speaker 2: of my faves that's come out this year.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I can't wait to see this. I'm excited.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I'm super into it.
- 8:11Speaker 3: And we loved her initial directing debut, so we.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Did, and I liked Don't Worry Darling. It wasn't perfect,
- 8:17Speaker 2: but I still thought it was worth checking out.
- 8:19Speaker 3: She directed that one too.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I didn't Actually, you don't remember all that drama with that.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Now I do that you say that, but I never
- 8:27Speaker 3: saw the movie, so it's just like that, Oh it's
- 8:29Speaker 3: had to be reminded, you know.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, that one's worth checking out. Yeah, but there
- 8:35Speaker 2: wasn't so much drama it turned people off a little bit. Yeah,
- 8:41Speaker 2: but yeah I was. I was just like, I don't
- 8:44Speaker 2: know what's going Yeah, but you know you have Florence
- 8:49Speaker 2: Pugh and Chris Pine. That was a good movie. Yeah,
- 8:52Speaker 2: fun of them, but the invite awesome. I'm excited for
- 8:56Speaker 2: you to watch it. I want to hear all your.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Thoughts of it. I can't wait. Very cool.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Have you been streaming anything fun?
- 9:02Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 9:03Speaker 3: On Hulu. I watched Ready or Not too here I
- 9:05Speaker 3: come because.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm ready or not. I just thought it was.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Kind of fun to go back to back with them.
- 9:11Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 9:13Speaker 3: The thing I really liked about the sequel because so
- 9:17Speaker 3: I knew when I watched the first one that there
- 9:18Speaker 3: already was a sequel. I wouldn't have anticipated that, I
- 9:21Speaker 3: don't think based on how they ended it. Oh okay,
- 9:24Speaker 3: but I really liked the sequel a lot as well.
- 9:27Speaker 3: It's one of those where you like pick up right
- 9:30Speaker 3: after where you just left off, one of those which
- 9:33Speaker 3: I always think amazing. It both can work obviously right
- 9:36Speaker 3: where you could be like ten years later or whatever,
- 9:38Speaker 3: but this was like and you could basically watch them
- 9:41Speaker 3: back to back if you wanted to.
- 9:43Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was really fun. It was a different vibe.
- 9:46Speaker 3: They brought in Catherine Newton for this one, who played
- 9:54Speaker 3: Paul Rudd's daughter, and ant Man and the waw or
- 9:57Speaker 3: Quantum Mania that's the one. Elijah Wood is in it,
- 10:01Speaker 3: and he was so fun to see him.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Yes, I can picture the trailer with him. Did they
- 10:06Speaker 2: have bigger names in the first one or did they
- 10:08Speaker 2: go and get bigger names just in the second one? No,
- 10:10Speaker 2: they had some bigger let me look.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I gotta look. I feel like the family. That Henry Well,
- 10:16Speaker 3: I guess he's not a big name, but that Henry
- 10:17Speaker 3: Zerny guy that we like was in it.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he was in Mission Impossible, right.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Yes, yes, he was one of the bad guys. So
- 10:26Speaker 3: Annie McDowell was the biggest name in the first one probably,
- 10:29Speaker 3: and it was fun.
- 10:30Speaker 2: To see her. She was great.
- 10:33Speaker 3: But yeah, actually, now that I'm looking at it, they
- 10:34Speaker 3: didn't have very big names for the first one, so
- 10:37Speaker 3: they they definitely pumped it up for the second one. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 3: Elijah Wood, Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellers in it. Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 3: Sean Hattisee, I think is how you say his name?
- 10:48Speaker 3: And he's been in some stuff you'd recognize him. David
- 10:51Speaker 3: Cronenberg has been in some stuff you'd recognize him. That's
- 10:57Speaker 3: kind of it. Though. They're not like giant ensemble pieces
- 11:01Speaker 3: by any means. But but yeah, really a fun sequel
- 11:06Speaker 3: and if you're looking for like a back to back,
- 11:07Speaker 3: if that's the mood you're in, you're gonna have a
- 11:09Speaker 3: pretty good time. I thought it was a little sillier
- 11:12Speaker 3: than the first one a little bit, partly, I think
- 11:16Speaker 3: because in a fun way. Samaraw Weaving's character is like, well,
- 11:21Speaker 3: I just went through all this book, so I can
- 11:22Speaker 3: do it again. I guess, you know, like sick a
- 11:25Speaker 3: little bit of that attitude. She's kind of a she
- 11:27Speaker 3: goes quickly into like I'm a grizzled vet at this
- 11:30Speaker 3: a little bit, which is kind of fun. But yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 3: I liked both of them a lot. I thought they
- 11:35Speaker 3: were really fun. I wish they would make more movies
- 11:38Speaker 3: like this rather than straight up horror all the time.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Sure, and I do feel like.
- 11:43Speaker 3: We've got a lot of them over the last couple
- 11:44Speaker 3: of years, so maybe they are. But they're kind of
- 11:47Speaker 3: funny and action.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I don't know. I liked it that's good.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Nice.
- 11:51Speaker 2: That is that also on Ulu?
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yeah, they're both on Hulu, so you can you can
- 11:54Speaker 3: bang bang that tonight if you wanted.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but does fun you could?
- 11:59Speaker 3: You could, but when you're on a plane, movie or
- 12:02Speaker 3: something that'd full So that would be check it out
- 12:05Speaker 3: around the bths how about you. That would have been streaming.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I started the newest season of Silo on Apple TV plus.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Oh is this three?
- 12:15Speaker 5: Now?
- 12:16Speaker 4: This is?
- 12:16Speaker 2: This is the third season, and it feels like it
- 12:19Speaker 2: was such a long time ago since the second season happened.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I don't know how long it was, but in my brain,
- 12:25Speaker 2: it feels like it's taken forever.
- 12:26Speaker 3: I don't even know if I watched the second season.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Okay, well then you really have some work. Yes, how
- 12:32Speaker 2: was the second season? Was good?
- 12:34Speaker 3: It's unheard. I don't know why I didn't. I'm kind
- 12:36Speaker 3: of having that, like, why didn't I watched?
- 12:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I really enjoyed the second season. The third season,
- 12:43Speaker 2: I'm only two episodes in. I think there's only three
- 12:45Speaker 2: episodes out when we're recording this. There might be up
- 12:47Speaker 2: to five by the time people hear this. But it's
- 12:51Speaker 2: taken me a little longer for me to get into
- 12:53Speaker 2: this one. Sure, it's doing a lot of flashbacky stuff,
- 12:59Speaker 2: which they haven't really done too much, so we'll see
- 13:03Speaker 2: how that pays off.
- 13:05Speaker 3: That can be hard, that can feel like momentum is
- 13:07Speaker 3: hard to get. I feel like with that sometimes. Yeah.
- 13:10Speaker 2: So currently I'm not one hundred percent sold on the season,
- 13:15Speaker 2: but I love the first two that I'm going to
- 13:17Speaker 2: definitely stick through it and see where they go. But
- 13:22Speaker 2: I'm just going to tell you it's a little it's
- 13:24Speaker 2: been a little slow for me so far.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Bumm. No, that's all right. Maybe it'll maybe it'll all
- 13:29Speaker 3: be worth it.
- 13:30Speaker 2: That's what I'm hoping.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I'll be worth it.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Crossing the thingies that's fun.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Any new characters or.
- 13:37Speaker 2: It's tough, you know, because they're in a silo. But
- 13:40Speaker 2: the fact that they are doing flashbacky stuff there.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Are some that's a good way to do them.
- 13:45Speaker 2: No big names.
- 13:47Speaker 3: No big names. Oh yeah, intriguing. I like it. I
- 13:51Speaker 3: have to watch that. I like that first season quite
- 13:53Speaker 3: a bit.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Second season is great.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I have to check it out. Well, what do you
- 13:58Speaker 3: think should we do? If you plugger runs here?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, let's plug it up all right.
- 14:02Speaker 3: You guys can visit us as always on the Twitter
- 14:04Speaker 3: machine where we're at Avenandorsman. With a Z, I can

- 14:11Speaker 3: We're also on Instagram, TikTok, Blue Sky Threats. We're all
- 14:14Speaker 3: over the place at the Avedendorsman there too. But if
- 14:18Speaker 3: you really want to hang out and be part of
- 14:19Speaker 3: the crew that's about to go.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Patreon dot com slash the Avid Endorsman.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a great time on Patreon. We love our patrons.
- 14:28Speaker 2: We give them lots of perks.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:30Speaker 2: One of those is getting a shout out here, So
- 14:32Speaker 2: let's give it up for Marsha Grisiak, Mary foxn Ned Walkley,
- 14:36Speaker 2: Jombrose said, Debuk, Noel Flores and Lorraine Lauch. You guys,
- 14:42Speaker 2: you're great. Thanks so much for being patrons. We appreciate you.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Another perk we'll give our patrons is an extended version
- 14:49Speaker 2: of every single episode that we put out. We'll do
- 14:53Speaker 2: a top five draft that pertains to the movie we're
- 14:55Speaker 2: talking about, and for this one, top five favorite Ben
- 14:59Speaker 2: Stiller movies.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Yeah, hell yeah, I had a lot of these. This
- 15:03Speaker 3: was fun.
- 15:04Speaker 2: We could have had so many more people on this side.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I really burned it.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, but I didn't think it fun. I didn't think
- 15:10Speaker 3: we'd have them any he's been. He's prolific.
- 15:14Speaker 2: He's prolific and also loves to just jump in and
- 15:17Speaker 2: do a little king.
- 15:18Speaker 3: He's okay with the cameo, which is nice. That does
- 15:20Speaker 3: make it easier, Yeah, for sure, because like Leo has
- 15:23Speaker 3: been in you know, seven movies his whole life or right,
- 15:26Speaker 3: not not really, but you know what I mean.
- 15:27Speaker 2: But they're all the killers, and he's such a bummer
- 15:31Speaker 2: when they're bad because then you're like, oh, I'm not
- 15:33Speaker 2: going to see him for the other three years. And
- 15:34Speaker 2: that was.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I get that for sure. Well that sounds
- 15:40Speaker 3: super fun, buddy. We will look forward to that. Greg
- 15:42Speaker 3: ben Still, Hey, hey, come on, we did it finally, Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 3: finally worked. I've been planning for this the whole time.
- 15:49Speaker 3: But we're here today to talk about a lovely Ben
- 15:52Speaker 3: Still in a film.
- 15:53Speaker 5: Uh.
- 15:53Speaker 3: This movie is twenty five years old, which I find shocking. Uh,
- 15:58Speaker 3: we're here to talk a little zoo Lander today and
- 16:02Speaker 3: it's going to be just a silly good time and
- 16:04Speaker 3: we had to get our silly good buddy here. So
- 16:06Speaker 3: let's give it up, ladies and gentlemen, you know you
- 16:07Speaker 3: love him. Give it up for Timmy Saints sober. What's
- 16:10Speaker 3: up Timmy?
- 16:12Speaker 5: Hey, guys, how are you doing?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Doing so good money? I know it's good to see you.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I was so happy when you were like, yeah, I'm down.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I didn't even have to like beg and plead for
- 16:24Speaker 2: this guy to be honest.
- 16:25Speaker 4: That was great.
- 16:26Speaker 2: He was like, yes, I'm there. That was me and
- 16:30Speaker 2: it made it made me really happy.
- 16:32Speaker 7: That was me fighting some technology issues. But we're going
- 16:35Speaker 7: to get there.
- 16:37Speaker 3: You look great, you sound great, you really do. Ready,
- 16:41Speaker 3: Doug Gosh Garnett, I think I said, Dosh Garnet, people
- 16:45Speaker 3: like you, this is going to be what I was
- 16:47Speaker 3: trying to say.
- 16:48Speaker 2: This is gonna be a good one went pretty well.
- 16:51Speaker 2: How you been man? Anything new and exciting?
- 16:54Speaker 5: Oh gosh? Not really? Same old, same old. Was just
- 16:56Speaker 5: in Florida for a little What were you doing?
- 17:01Speaker 7: One of my daughters danced there at Disney, So we
- 17:04Speaker 7: went to Disney and watched her dance and met.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Have you guys done the Disney thing yet? It was
- 17:09Speaker 2: that the first time?
- 17:10Speaker 7: Second time? Yeah, first time for me. Universal although did
- 17:14Speaker 7: we go to Universa when we were kids?
- 17:17Speaker 5: Not kids?
- 17:17Speaker 2: But I definitely did with I don't know if we
- 17:20Speaker 2: did it in high school. I did with my family
- 17:23Speaker 2: trip like pre high school. But yeah, my brain is mush.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I can't remember if we did that when we were
- 17:29Speaker 2: in high school or not.
- 17:30Speaker 5: I think it was my first Universal, which was fun.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Okay, dude, that was I remember I was a kid.
- 17:35Speaker 2: That was my favorite part of the whole thing for sure,
- 17:38Speaker 2: which makes sense. It's the movie stuff that we love.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that too.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Hear what what were there any standouts at Universal this time?
- 17:47Speaker 7: Oh gosh, Harry Potter. There's a Harry Potter ride. That
- 17:51Speaker 7: was a lot of fun.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, did you have some butter beer?
- 17:54Speaker 5: I did have a little sip of butter beer.
- 17:56Speaker 7: We met magical v guy who, out of the kindness
- 18:01Speaker 7: of his heart, just skipped us to the friend of
- 18:02Speaker 7: the line, which was a fun.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Experience, incredible part of the lines, like crazy, It.
- 18:07Speaker 7: Was a three hour wait oh my god, god, Yeah,
- 18:11Speaker 7: that was awesome.
- 18:13Speaker 2: We have not done the Disney thing with the kids yet,
- 18:16Speaker 2: and I just keep hearing about all these lines and
- 18:18Speaker 2: it scares me. It scares me.
- 18:20Speaker 5: Yeah, Disney, we do.
- 18:21Speaker 7: We did the Lightning Pass, which is a money grab
- 18:23Speaker 7: but it's not crazy. But the universal Lightning pass was
- 18:28Speaker 7: crazy as much as the ticket did lightnings there.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Okay, that's cool. Hot, you just did this a couple
- 18:38Speaker 2: of weeks.
- 18:40Speaker 5: It was hot here too, though, like it's it's hot.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. I remember we did a marching band
- 18:48Speaker 2: down there in Florida and the in the in those
- 18:52Speaker 2: uniforms in July or whenever.
- 18:54Speaker 3: It was brutal hot. That's so funny. We went there
- 18:59Speaker 3: for a band as well.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's a pretty popular place to go.
- 19:05Speaker 7: I think that's how they keep people coming in the
- 19:07Speaker 7: middle of every team.
- 19:10Speaker 2: No, we did the coach bus down so did we
- 19:12Speaker 2: same thing.
- 19:13Speaker 3: We flew down the away from Bedet down there.
- 19:16Speaker 5: What we flew to Florida. We coach busted Tonlons.
- 19:20Speaker 2: We definitely coach busted Nylens. I thought marching band we.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Maybe it was like a mag seven.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Maybe it was the choir one that we bust.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Again.
- 19:32Speaker 2: I did more than one.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Bus trip to Florida, just a long way.
- 19:37Speaker 2: It was a very long way. Well that's cool, dude,
- 19:41Speaker 2: fun trip.
- 19:42Speaker 5: It was was. It was what you guys, anything new
- 19:46Speaker 5: and exciting.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Man. I saw I saw the Odyssey. I think we're
- 19:50Speaker 2: going to do an episode on it. But yeah, yeah,
- 19:56Speaker 2: it's cool. You have to check it out. I saw
- 19:58Speaker 2: that when I was in far Go.
- 20:01Speaker 5: Yeah, big IMAX out there.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I can guess it wasn't an Imax. It was the
- 20:06Speaker 2: Marcus Cinemon's does a d X screen, which is like
- 20:09Speaker 2: their biggest one. Got to be close, right, But it's
- 20:12Speaker 2: I think so. But I think the closest IMAX seventy
- 20:15Speaker 2: millimeter to us is is like in Chicago.
- 20:18Speaker 5: I was like Indie or something unaccessible.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Where did pat No just went? Where did he book those?
- 20:26Speaker 5: Was that?
- 20:27Speaker 3: I guess around here?
- 20:29Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 20:29Speaker 3: Yeah, interesting?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Interesting because the only IMAX we had in Minnesota was
- 20:35Speaker 2: at the Zoo.
- 20:37Speaker 7: I don't think it's that's true because there's like the
- 20:41Speaker 7: seventy millimeter.
- 20:42Speaker 2: And right right there all that, but mm hmmm.
- 20:46Speaker 7: I want to see it on an eultra screen when
- 20:47Speaker 7: I yeah.
- 20:49Speaker 5: Four weeks. I don't like people in the theater.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I get that was definitely sitting. Yeah, I was sitting
- 20:57Speaker 2: next to people on both sides for sure, but everybody
- 21:00Speaker 2: was really respectful.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Nobody was holding up your phone and.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Doing usually good for those like the Prestige movies.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I feel like, yeah, so that was a good experience
- 21:12Speaker 2: for sure. There were some people that had to get
- 21:14Speaker 2: up and pee. It's three hours, yeah, people, and they
- 21:18Speaker 2: got to do that.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I get Yeah. I don't hold that against anybody.
- 21:21Speaker 2: No, but yeah, you're going to do that.
- 21:24Speaker 3: You usually don't need to do that, which is good.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I do usually. And I did not get a drink
- 21:30Speaker 2: for that reason because I do not want to walk
- 21:33Speaker 2: out of.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Them that I had.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Yeah, when I saw Roger hil Mary, I got a beer.
- 21:37Speaker 5: They're like what size.
- 21:38Speaker 7: I'm like, I'll take a large, and they give you
- 21:40Speaker 7: a beer and like the jumbo sized theater cup like
- 21:43Speaker 7: thirty two hours, Like Jesus.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Wow, wow?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Was that like seventy dollars?
- 21:50Speaker 3: I don't know, it was twelve. The beer was a thousand.
- 21:57Speaker 5: I just had one.
- 21:59Speaker 2: They had that Keith's catching strays this. I love it.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I love it.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Well, what do you guys think should we get in
- 22:14Speaker 3: and start talking about the twenty fifth anniversary of this movie?
- 22:18Speaker 3: Little Zoolander action?
- 22:19Speaker 2: I think we should?
- 22:21Speaker 3: Okay, Rob, you want to get it started with just.
- 22:22Speaker 2: A rough sonuch, I'd love to Zoolander follows dim witted
- 22:28Speaker 2: but successful male supermodel Derek Zulander. After losing his Male
- 22:34Speaker 2: Model of the Year crown Derival hansel On, experiencing a
- 22:39Speaker 2: personal tragedy, he is brainwashed by fashion mogul Mugatu. Derek
- 22:45Speaker 2: is programmed to assassinate the progressive Prime Minister of Malaysia,
- 22:48Speaker 2: whose anti child labor policies threaten the fashion industry's profits.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, love it, love it. Let's go around to
- 23:01Speaker 3: battles near what they have to say. Critics have it
- 23:02Speaker 3: coming in at a pretty decent sixty four percent boom.
- 23:07Speaker 3: That's not terrible.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Honestly, I thought it might be worse, dude, some of
- 23:11Speaker 2: these comedies like fourteen percent. Yeah, times like this, it
- 23:16Speaker 2: was impressive.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Were this one? They're good with it and audience members
- 23:20Speaker 3: maybe a little older than I thought, but still very healthy.
- 23:23Speaker 3: At eighty percent, eighty percent, we're doing great, universally loved.
- 23:32Speaker 3: But yeah, maybe that's because of my own take, and
- 23:34Speaker 3: maybe it's time we get into that. Let's talk about
- 23:36Speaker 3: what we think. Let's go into our.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Hot hot take. Oh that's a hot take. That's a
- 23:42Speaker 2: hot take. Oh I burned myself so hot right now?
- 23:50Speaker 5: That was good a hot take.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I didn't think of that one ahead of time. It
- 23:53Speaker 3: felt like it though.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I liked my gasoline. Then hansoled, but the was are
- 23:59Speaker 2: really good too.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Yours was great and we both did good exactly. It's
- 24:02Speaker 3: room for two top models of the year, and it's
- 24:05Speaker 3: both of us Boom and also Timmy I'll go first
- 24:12Speaker 3: number one, and I kind of alluded to this at
- 24:14Speaker 3: the beginning. Yeah, it hurts my feelings a little bit
- 24:16Speaker 3: that this is the twenty fifth anniversary in this movie.
- 24:19Speaker 3: For some reason, this one specifically, I was like, I
- 24:23Speaker 3: felt like I was an adult when I saw, you know,
- 24:25Speaker 3: like all the things. So it really bugs me. I
- 24:28Speaker 3: don't know why, but here we are. I love this movie.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I've always loved this movie. I think it is as
- 24:36Speaker 3: far as like a dumb comedy. I think it's one
- 24:38Speaker 3: of the better ones. I just think it's so silly
- 24:42Speaker 3: and fun. It's a world that I know. Surprisingly, I
- 24:46Speaker 3: know it's going to shock people. I don't know a
- 24:47Speaker 3: lot about the fashion world, so it's like, you know,
- 24:51Speaker 3: it was all new and very believable. I have since
- 24:56Speaker 3: walked a few runways in my time, but yes, I
- 25:05Speaker 3: and I continue to. Really I was interested because it's
- 25:08Speaker 3: been a few years now since I've seen it, so
- 25:11Speaker 3: I was like, Oh, on the rewatch, what's this gonna
- 25:13Speaker 3: be like? Is it gonna suck? Is it gonna just
- 25:15Speaker 3: be silly? I really still enjoyed it. I thought it
- 25:18Speaker 3: really told the line, well, he's dumb without being annoying,
- 25:22Speaker 3: Like you still kind of like the character even though
- 25:24Speaker 3: he's kind of a douche. Yeah, the jokes are really funny.
- 25:27Speaker 3: I don't know, like it has just enough plot to
- 25:30Speaker 3: keep you interested, but also they don't they really don't
- 25:34Speaker 3: get mired down in that too much either, you know,
- 25:36Speaker 3: but it's got enough through line momentum. I really liked
- 25:39Speaker 3: it on the rewatch as well. I just think it's
- 25:41Speaker 3: super super fun. I love that it's kind of a
- 25:43Speaker 3: spy film spoof but also has some like political thriller
- 25:48Speaker 3: spoofed type stuff in there, which is fun. I love that.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of you know, any movie that
- 25:55Speaker 3: talks about how capitalism is, you know, ruining us through
- 25:58Speaker 3: geopolitical warfare pretty compelling. It's an evergreen topic really, but yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 3: I just I really like this. I think Ben Stiller
- 26:10Speaker 3: is so funny in this movie. And I know we'll
- 26:13Speaker 3: talk more about that, but just everybody top to bottom.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I thought this was super, super fun. It's very aware
- 26:18Speaker 3: of itself without being, you know, too much. One hot
- 26:23Speaker 3: take that I had, though, was Owen Wilson. He totally
- 26:28Speaker 3: steals the McConaughey when he walks into the all right,
- 26:33Speaker 3: all right. He is pretty wonderful and I can only
- 26:37Speaker 3: imagine it's because they know and like each other, because
- 26:39Speaker 3: they seem like they would get along so and I
- 26:42Speaker 3: thought that was wonderful. That's as hot a take as
- 26:46Speaker 3: I've got.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I like it. It's hot. That's hot.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Bro.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Yeah. I thought this movie is pretty funny, but it
- 26:53Speaker 2: was not one that I watched over and over like
- 26:56Speaker 2: I know a lot of people have. This one's directed
- 26:59Speaker 2: by and Stiller. This is the second film we've covered
- 27:02Speaker 2: of his, and we recently just did The Cable Guy.
- 27:05Speaker 2: So just in a few weeks we've done two Ben
- 27:08Speaker 2: Stiller movies. He's It's a an anniversary one of them.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I don't remember what it was. But he's also done Traffic, Thunder,
- 27:21Speaker 2: Secret Life of Walter Middy did the sequel to this film,
- 27:25Speaker 2: and dude, he's killing it with the television right now
- 27:29Speaker 2: with Escape at Danamora, and of course severance, Yeah, which
- 27:34Speaker 2: is amazing.
- 27:34Speaker 3: It's gonna be a while so we see that again.
- 27:36Speaker 3: But it's good, I know, but so good.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Also written by Ben Stiller, uh, and a couple other guys,
- 27:44Speaker 2: Drake Sather and John Hamburg. Now Hamburg has gone on
- 27:48Speaker 2: to become a director as well, with films like Along Cane, Polly, Oh,
- 27:53Speaker 2: I Love You Man.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Wow.
- 27:56Speaker 2: He also just finished Fokker in Law that's coming out
- 27:58Speaker 2: later this year.
- 27:59Speaker 3: I look forward to that. Then. That's great.
- 28:01Speaker 2: So yeah, pretty cool. But I thought this was written
- 28:05Speaker 2: really well. We got some iconic lines that we still
- 28:09Speaker 2: all quote today. Absolutely pretty great world building, kind of
- 28:14Speaker 2: like what you were saying. The geopolitical thriller is pretty cool.
- 28:17Speaker 2: They basically are kind of ripping off mentoring candidate a
- 28:19Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah, but we also get a fun little
- 28:22Speaker 2: spoof on the fashion industry as well. I enjoyed the
- 28:26Speaker 2: acting from the main characters. I thought the soundtrack was fun.
- 28:31Speaker 2: I thought this was a super solid comedy. It holds
- 28:35Speaker 2: up better than most of its kind, especially from twenty
- 28:39Speaker 2: five years ago. From that timeframe especially, Yeah, I will say, uh,
- 28:44Speaker 2: we just watched Team America World Police on the bus
- 28:46Speaker 2: in this last run.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Love it.
- 28:48Speaker 2: And while there are some amazing scenes that made me
- 28:51Speaker 2: laugh so hard sometimes that movie doesn't age well at all.
- 28:55Speaker 5: That movie never mentioned age.
- 28:59Speaker 2: But was it was preciating the envelope at the time.
- 29:02Speaker 2: It was. It was pretty out there, but man, it
- 29:04Speaker 2: really I guess there's a.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Lot of accent work and stuff too that I.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Did a lot of accent Instead of the Screen Actors Guild,
- 29:13Speaker 2: they call it the Film Actors Guild on purpose. That was, Uh,
- 29:18Speaker 2: that was pretty the joke there. Well, when you see it,
- 29:22Speaker 2: you you get it, and it's they do it a
- 29:25Speaker 2: lot and it's.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Not really I didn't even I don't think I even
- 29:28Speaker 3: knew that one. I didn't.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I didn't remember it, that's for sure.
- 29:33Speaker 7: So that's name off your goddamn talk.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Come on that. I mean that one works. That still
- 29:40Speaker 2: works pretty well. But anyway, I thought this age really well.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Maybe that's a hot take. I did have another hot take.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Will Ferrell is one of my favorite actors in the
- 29:52Speaker 2: whole world. One of my least favorite roles of is Wow.
- 29:57Speaker 3: I remembered liking him so much more than I did,
- 29:59Speaker 3: and he wasn't bad, but I thought he was gonna do.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I love him in every single thing. Yeah, And I
- 30:05Speaker 2: was like, I feel like you're doing an impression of
- 30:08Speaker 2: someone else or something, I don't know.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Funny that we both kind of thought that's really interesting. Yeah,
- 30:13Speaker 3: I like that.
- 30:15Speaker 2: That's my hottest take.
- 30:16Speaker 3: What do you got to me?
- 30:17Speaker 5: That's pretty hot.
- 30:19Speaker 7: We'll start with my hot take is when I first
- 30:21Speaker 7: saw the ads for this film, I thought it looked
- 30:23Speaker 7: like the dumbest piece of movie.
- 30:25Speaker 5: I've ever seen.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Love it.
- 30:27Speaker 7: We're coming out of the nineties, mid nineties for how
- 30:30Speaker 7: we had Tommy Boy, we had Black Sheep, we had
- 30:33Speaker 7: Ace Venture a dumb and dumber Billy Madison, Happy Gilmour
- 30:36Speaker 7: and like those movies were funny, and you will watch
- 30:40Speaker 7: Chris Farley and he's funny.
- 30:42Speaker 2: And then so funny.
- 30:43Speaker 7: You see the ads for this movie and it looks
- 30:45Speaker 7: like Ben Stiller trying really hard to be funny, and
- 30:48Speaker 7: like this does that. That's not gonna work. It's super
- 30:51Speaker 7: low brow.
- 30:51Speaker 5: It looked like and I didn't see it when it
- 30:53Speaker 5: came out. I don't know when I first saw it same.
- 30:56Speaker 2: I feel like I didn't see it right away either.
- 30:58Speaker 7: It was for sure sometime DVD and probably sometime and well,
- 31:02Speaker 7: for sure sometime in college because we were in college
- 31:04Speaker 7: when it came out. Definite too and when its like
- 31:08Speaker 7: it instantly like this, it's yeah, it's so clever, like
- 31:12Speaker 7: it it toosed the line you said perfectly, like he
- 31:19Speaker 7: doesn't come around and you know, become smart in the
- 31:21Speaker 7: end and Selve something like he justs a lovably idiotic
- 31:24Speaker 7: the whole time, but he does it does become lovable spy,
- 31:29Speaker 7: political thriller. You forgot buddy comedy, which is like my
- 31:33Speaker 7: favorite part at the end of the movie when they're
- 31:35Speaker 7: working together and yeah, it's shocking, Like this movie had
- 31:41Speaker 7: so many potential pitfalls for not holding up and like
- 31:43Speaker 7: things they could have done. There's like there's you know,
- 31:47Speaker 7: the borderline blackface scene, but they don't do it obviously,
- 31:51Speaker 7: and that scene was super funny and like the two
- 31:54Speaker 7: actors like doing their faces there. They do such a
- 31:56Speaker 7: good job. Yeah, it's great. I really liked this movie.
- 32:02Speaker 7: I had a great time rewatching it. Laughed harder than
- 32:05Speaker 7: I probably did some of the first times. Like some
- 32:08Speaker 7: of the scenes is really hit. When I was watching
- 32:10Speaker 7: it last night, I love that.
- 32:12Speaker 5: John, it's great. What was the writer's name? The third Rider.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Who directs John Hamburg.
- 32:18Speaker 7: Okay, So John Hamm, John Hamburg and the Hamburger walk into.
- 32:22Speaker 5: A bar and then what I think I had a
- 32:25Speaker 5: great fline. Yet I'll get back to you.
- 32:28Speaker 2: All right, we gotta start.
- 32:29Speaker 3: John has the Film Actors Guild and I love it.
- 32:35Speaker 5: Let's stop it, David.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Name man, Dude, that was hot. That's a hot take.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Love it? Well, why don't we break this film down
- 32:46Speaker 2: some more, and let's go by choosing our favorite acting performance,
- 32:51Speaker 2: and let's choose the dude.
- 32:54Speaker 5: The dude.
- 32:55Speaker 8: I'm the dude, So that's what you call me, you
- 32:58Speaker 8: know that? Or his dude or duder or you know
- 33:04Speaker 8: eldud a reno. If you're not into the whole brevity thing,
- 33:07Speaker 8: who goes?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Is your favorite acting performance? You do, Timmy, You go
- 33:10Speaker 2: for it.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Because I went last last time.
- 33:13Speaker 2: I know.
- 33:14Speaker 7: It's like, okay, so when the movie is named after
- 33:18Speaker 7: your character, if you're not in this conversation, we might
- 33:22Speaker 7: not be doing a podcast about it.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Sure.
- 33:25Speaker 7: I like to get cute. I like to try to
- 33:27Speaker 7: like look outside the box. But Ben Stiller is so
- 33:29Speaker 7: good in this movie. Yeah, it obviously doesn't work if
- 33:33Speaker 7: he doesn't do it. His facial acting is amazing. I
- 33:37Speaker 7: don't remember him being that.
- 33:39Speaker 3: He's really good at it some of the time, Like.
- 33:42Speaker 7: I'm wondering whether you're did you have like forehead prosthetics
- 33:45Speaker 7: to like make the wrinkles more or is that all him?
- 33:48Speaker 7: Because sometimes he would do the like burrow brow like
- 33:51Speaker 7: when he's thinking.
- 33:51Speaker 5: And it's like, shit, that looks so so deep.
- 33:55Speaker 7: And you said it bugus, Like he's he's dumb the
- 33:58Speaker 7: whole time and he's consisted stantly eat idiotic. They don't
- 34:03Speaker 7: sacrifice that at any point to make the movie make sense.
- 34:06Speaker 7: But he is extremely likable and you're pulling for him.
- 34:09Speaker 7: You even come to believe that Christine Taylor would come
- 34:12Speaker 7: around on him because.
- 34:13Speaker 5: He's just so sweet. So it's still here all the way.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Well Stiller, all the way. I'm right there with you.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I felt the exact same way, And I feel like
- 34:26Speaker 2: a lot of people could have made that role annoying
- 34:30Speaker 2: after a while. Sure, but I think because he is
- 34:36Speaker 2: so like lovable that you can kind of be okay
- 34:42Speaker 2: with him being so dumb and his heart is always there,
- 34:49Speaker 2: He's there's intention behind it, and I feel like it
- 34:53Speaker 2: was a pretty yeah, thin line. You could probably make
- 34:57Speaker 2: it really bad. This could have been really bad, but
- 35:00Speaker 2: I think Ben Steeller just rocked it out.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Like if Nick Schwartzen would have had that part, it
- 35:03Speaker 3: would have been too far right, And I love it.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I think he's great, you know what I mean, he's
- 35:09Speaker 2: too far sometimes very funny, but yeah, that's really a
- 35:13Speaker 2: funny one. No, this would be unwatchable right with Nick
- 35:17Speaker 2: Swartzon in that role.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Hear this, I would do the same thing I can.
- 35:22Speaker 2: And hey, Buddy, I think you're very funny.
- 35:25Speaker 3: He's doing great and.
- 35:26Speaker 2: You make him Minnesota look great, So thanks, Bud.
- 35:29Speaker 3: I love that. It's a clean sweep. I picked Stiller
- 35:32Speaker 3: as well, like we said, throw it all that. I
- 35:35Speaker 3: just think he's so funny in this and somehow still
- 35:38Speaker 3: continues to be likable like we said, Yeah, and he's
- 35:43Speaker 3: just I don't know, he's kind of a weener through
- 35:44Speaker 3: the whole thing. But it's it's great. I really like him.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I don't know, it's really fun, but YEA love it.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Lots of people in it, though, so many. Why don't
- 35:55Speaker 2: we go and choose our favorite supporting role and let's
- 35:57Speaker 2: pick the two Ga.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Timmy, who's your teach?
- 36:03Speaker 7: Part of the reason that Stiller is so good in it,
- 36:05Speaker 7: and that he does remain likable as everybody else in
- 36:09Speaker 7: this cast is really really good, like it's it was
- 36:12Speaker 7: such a well cast film, and yeah, mostly great cameos,
- 36:18Speaker 7: so a lot of options here. You guys both kind
- 36:21Speaker 7: of Will Ferrell a little. And I'm just gonna come
- 36:24Speaker 7: to the defense. I thought he was really too funny,
- 36:26Speaker 7: he was early. He's not my Tucci. I'm just coming
- 36:29Speaker 7: I'm going to come in with an honorable mention. First,
- 36:31Speaker 7: it does feel like he's playing more of a like
- 36:34Speaker 7: a Saturday Night Live character than like playing a Will
- 36:36Speaker 7: Farrell character, which you know he obviously goes on to
- 36:39Speaker 7: do quite a bit after that.
- 36:42Speaker 5: I think most of his big movies came out after
- 36:44Speaker 5: this at least, oh for sure. He is really funny
- 36:48Speaker 5: in it and has some of the funniest lines.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Do you You know what I think kind of messed
- 36:54Speaker 2: me up was that I saw that initially this was
- 36:57Speaker 2: supposed to go to Andy Dick and I swim where
- 37:00Speaker 2: it feels like he's doing an Andy Dick impression. Interesting
- 37:03Speaker 2: and ever since that that's like all I can see,
- 37:07Speaker 2: and I don't find it as funny.
- 37:10Speaker 7: I get that it feels like he is Andy Dick
- 37:12Speaker 7: could of it really funny in it.
- 37:14Speaker 5: Actually, probably.
- 37:17Speaker 2: He just couldn't commit to it because he was doing
- 37:19Speaker 2: something else, I guess. But they put him in that one. Yeah,
- 37:21Speaker 2: the Seus's thing, but it's a little tainted for me.
- 37:26Speaker 5: All right, that's fair, I get that.
- 37:29Speaker 7: All right, Well, onto the actual Tucci. I'm gonna swerve
- 37:33Speaker 7: a little here. I had to swerve somewhere. I'm gonna
- 37:35Speaker 7: go Christine.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Taylor, Dude, I get that she is so good in it.
- 37:40Speaker 7: Talk about face acting, like she does some incredible looks
- 37:44Speaker 7: in this movie.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, during that orgy scene.
- 37:47Speaker 7: During the orgy scene, during the walk off, she has
- 37:49Speaker 7: some really good good like just straight face acting. Yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 7: and you know again, she has to kind of transform
- 37:58Speaker 7: from going to thinking he is an idiot to come
- 38:00Speaker 7: around on him and she doesn't believe. It doesn't feel forced,
- 38:04Speaker 7: it feels natural, like I like a real life couple
- 38:08Speaker 7: acting like a couple. It's always fun, for sure, Always
- 38:11Speaker 7: like that.
- 38:13Speaker 2: I've always been surprised that she hasn't had a big
- 38:16Speaker 2: and she's been in some really successful comedies, some of
- 38:20Speaker 2: my faves. But yeah, I've always kind of thought that
- 38:23Speaker 2: she would have done more.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Part of that's got to be her choice or something, right,
- 38:28Speaker 3: because maybe good that that seems impossible for not to
- 38:31Speaker 3: be or something.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 38:34Speaker 3: I'm with you, guys, I would have I was going
- 38:35Speaker 3: to pick her too. I love her, she's so good.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I was going to pick Owen Wilson as Hansel. He's
- 38:42Speaker 2: so hot. We know that he was great, I mean
- 38:48Speaker 2: just basically being hilarious Owen Wilson, who we love so much.
- 38:52Speaker 2: At this point, I don't know if I really knew
- 38:54Speaker 2: Owen Wilson very well.
- 38:55Speaker 3: I feel the same way.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they got to be.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Pretty close to the same age though, right, that was
- 39:02Speaker 3: the only thing they make. It seem like he's this
- 39:04Speaker 3: youw and like super young, and it's like aren't they
- 39:09Speaker 3: even Yeah, but you know whatever, it still works. It's fine.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah. I loved his character in this.
- 39:15Speaker 3: It was really funny. And he's like kind of smarter too,
- 39:18Speaker 3: which is fun in a way.
- 39:20Speaker 2: A little bit like it.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that's great.
- 39:24Speaker 3: I love both those picks. Uh. Shout out to the
- 39:27Speaker 3: all time king Jerry Steeler just kills me every time.
- 39:31Speaker 2: But you said you're one was Christine Taylor Wilson.
- 39:36Speaker 3: I think it probably would have been that order. Honestly,
- 39:39Speaker 3: Jerry Steeller just cracks me up in everything he's ever
- 39:42Speaker 3: been in all the time. I love him so much.
- 39:46Speaker 3: How about Alexander scars Guard being one of the.
- 39:51Speaker 7: When you circle back and realize that's who it is,
- 39:53Speaker 7: it's it's so wild and he.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Was just skinny and so yeah, he looked so young
- 40:00Speaker 2: in that.
- 40:00Speaker 7: You watch that move in two thousand and one and
- 40:02Speaker 7: just like, tell me like his next twenty year olds.
- 40:05Speaker 2: You're like, no, yeah, no, guy, the gasoline fight.
- 40:11Speaker 4: Guy.
- 40:11Speaker 3: No. I thought that was pretty wild.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that that blew my mind. It also blew my mind.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Vince Vaughan is in there.
- 40:17Speaker 5: And uncredited, no speaking.
- 40:21Speaker 7: The no speaking is crazy because I think the other
- 40:24Speaker 7: two at least get to say something.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Yeah, John Boy talks quite a bit. Do you see
- 40:30Speaker 2: who the other guy wants rob?
- 40:32Speaker 3: The other brother? Which I did not recognize him if
- 40:34Speaker 3: I want to see that, that's oh really, I don't
- 40:37Speaker 3: think I would have recognized that because.
- 40:39Speaker 2: He's he didn't have his glasses, Yeah, glasses and all
- 40:42Speaker 2: that stuff.
- 40:43Speaker 3: So a super funny comedian for folks that don't know
- 40:46Speaker 3: Judah Freedland.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Big on thirty.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Rocks thirty Rock was a big thing. Think were you
- 40:52Speaker 3: with when we saw him at the comedy store?
- 40:55Speaker 2: Yes, I think I was.
- 40:57Speaker 3: That was when I was sir, I think yeah.
- 40:59Speaker 2: And also outside of the comedy store or no, it
- 41:04Speaker 2: was the seller, the seller in the the cellar. I'm sorry, yeah,
- 41:06Speaker 2: the seller.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 41:08Speaker 2: We talked to Godfrey was were you out there? And
- 41:10Speaker 2: Godfrey was the one who is pretending to be him
- 41:15Speaker 2: where you were talking about the they almost did blackface,
- 41:18Speaker 2: but then it was the actor actually doing it. His
- 41:21Speaker 2: name is Godfrey and we talked to him for a
- 41:24Speaker 2: while outside of the cellar and he was cool.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Yeah. I think I only came out from like the
- 41:29Speaker 3: end of that or something like. Yeah.
- 41:32Speaker 2: He was just like chatting it up.
- 41:35Speaker 4: Great.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that.
- 41:38Speaker 2: One. That did blow my mind and I was like,
- 41:40Speaker 2: that has to be somebody was the evil DJ was
- 41:43Speaker 2: just in throw that blow that.
- 41:45Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely blew my mind, just like I had to
- 41:49Speaker 5: look it up. That's yeah. Jennifer Aniston, Well, they.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Were yep, yep. He was like an American like that.
- 42:01Speaker 5: Was like him comedic character playing actor.
- 42:05Speaker 7: He uh, I think he did? Did I read too?
- 42:08Speaker 7: He co wrote the sequel.
- 42:11Speaker 2: It wouldn't be a surprise I know he writes super funny.
- 42:16Speaker 3: He was just so funny and Devils product too right
- 42:19Speaker 3: with him.
- 42:20Speaker 2: And yeah, with all that makeup on, he likes disguising himself.
- 42:25Speaker 3: That's fun. That's fun.
- 42:28Speaker 2: And some more. I mean there were so many cameos,
- 42:31Speaker 2: the ones that I saw. I feel like James Marsden
- 42:34Speaker 2: wasn't really a name at this point. Maybe that was
- 42:37Speaker 2: fun seeing him for a nanosecond. Paton Oswalt as the photographer,
- 42:44Speaker 2: that was fun. And then you get Billy Zane being himself.
- 42:50Speaker 5: Yeah, that's like that's what.
- 42:53Speaker 7: You just come to the set for a day and
- 42:54Speaker 7: you end up like he he had like thirty lines.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Yeah, super fun, all right. I also loved that small
- 43:05Speaker 2: David Duchovny.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Role is so funny.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. His whole thing with the the
- 43:12Speaker 2: hand was funny.
- 43:13Speaker 3: It's like kind of like the like the deep throat character. Yeah,
- 43:17Speaker 3: for lack of a better word, I very much, but yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 3: it's so funny. I like that. It was a great role.
- 43:25Speaker 2: But dude, just so many cameos though there were so many.
- 43:27Speaker 3: People, million other people. I didn't actually read anymore downs.
- 43:31Speaker 7: At some point I was like, I thought it was
- 43:33Speaker 7: really funny, just that that was a great call just
- 43:35Speaker 7: to get like an actor, just to buy into it.
- 43:37Speaker 7: I don't know, important you could, yeah, you go on
- 43:40Speaker 7: and that's funny.
- 43:42Speaker 4: That was fun I loved it.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Nice, nice, Yeah, let's keep it going.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Can we talk about our favorite scene? Shall we name
- 43:50Speaker 3: the dangas?
- 43:51Speaker 2: Dingus?
- 43:53Speaker 3: Is quite simple, really, Dingus Dingus.
- 43:55Speaker 1: I could talk about my dingas all night long.
- 43:59Speaker 3: What's your favorite scene?
- 43:59Speaker 2: Past favorite scene?
- 44:02Speaker 7: I wrote down almost every scene on my list here.
- 44:05Speaker 7: This is such a good movie and so many funny scenes.
- 44:09Speaker 7: But my favorite is the Weve Got to enterprise kind
- 44:15Speaker 7: of his big intro where he's yelling at his assistant
- 44:20Speaker 7: and he's interviewing Derek to starring Derek Derry dery Lick
- 44:25Speaker 7: and then and then then they do the the Center
- 44:29Speaker 7: for Ants.
- 44:30Speaker 5: It just uh, it's my favorite barrels and it's.
- 44:35Speaker 7: My maybe my one of my favorite lines from from
- 44:37Speaker 7: the movie.
- 44:38Speaker 2: The line of the movie for sure.
- 44:41Speaker 7: And then you then you are introduced to dery Lick.
- 44:45Speaker 7: So that's just a nice little scene.
- 44:47Speaker 2: That is a nice little scene. I'll definitely work with
- 44:51Speaker 2: that since it has my favorite line in it. I
- 44:55Speaker 2: think my number one though, is that gasoline fight. I
- 44:59Speaker 2: think it's the most ridiculous thing in the whole world.
- 45:03Speaker 2: And there are they what are they singing they're singing
- 45:06Speaker 2: to is it wham Yeah?
- 45:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah it is that. You're right.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think it's Wham great. It's so good.
- 45:20Speaker 2: They're just the slow motion with their orange smoke of
- 45:23Speaker 2: prappuccinos on the way there. They're so happy. Yeah. He
- 45:30Speaker 2: starts with the windshield wiper water and they just go
- 45:37Speaker 2: from tar to still.
- 45:41Speaker 7: He looks back and he still doesn't It's so cute
- 45:44Speaker 7: until he is you scamps.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Yeah, until he starts smoking a cigarette.
- 45:51Speaker 4: He's like.
- 45:54Speaker 2: One of the funniest things I've ever seen.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Also, did this movie start the like almost duck clippy
- 46:02Speaker 3: like posing stuff because they did so much in.
- 46:05Speaker 2: This Maybe is that where the duck lives? I don't know.
- 46:09Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm just I'm curious. It just popped
- 46:11Speaker 3: in my man.
- 46:12Speaker 2: I like it.
- 46:13Speaker 3: I like it too. Uh, gas fight way up there
- 46:16Speaker 3: for me. Maybe at the top. Also when he goes
- 46:23Speaker 3: when the award for best Model or what model of
- 46:26Speaker 3: the year, when he accepts it after they've called the
- 46:30Speaker 3: hostel's name, it is so funny to me. It really
- 46:34Speaker 3: got me good this time.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good.
- 46:37Speaker 3: It really did get me real good. Just so awkward
- 46:41Speaker 3: and cringey and also great and just oh so funny.
- 46:48Speaker 2: That was good.
- 46:48Speaker 4: I loved it. I loved it.
- 46:50Speaker 3: And then the walk off is the one that I
- 46:52Speaker 3: walk off up all the time for this movie class
- 46:56Speaker 3: so so good.
- 46:59Speaker 2: How Hansel is able to get those tidy whities off
- 47:05Speaker 2: without gripping them the.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Best, I mean impressive.
- 47:11Speaker 2: It took a lot, It took a lot of focus.
- 47:15Speaker 2: You must be double jointed, I don't know, but it
- 47:18Speaker 2: was pretty good.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Yeah. It was so funny with Men's tiller doing it.
- 47:24Speaker 2: He's working so hard, but that reaction when he gives
- 47:29Speaker 2: himself the weggie or front weggie, I don't know what
- 47:34Speaker 2: you would call that. It's amazing. That face and the
- 47:39Speaker 2: noise that comes out of his mouth perfect.
- 47:41Speaker 3: I mean, it really is so funny. The physical comedy
- 47:44Speaker 3: in this is great with all the faces he makes
- 47:47Speaker 3: and everything. Yeah, so good.
- 47:50Speaker 2: My three have been mentioned, Timmy, Do you have any
- 47:53Speaker 2: more runner up?
- 47:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 47:54Speaker 7: My number two is actually The Funeral, just because I
- 47:56Speaker 7: think it's a really funny.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Good that is good.
- 48:01Speaker 7: The whole you googly piece, which is fun that the
- 48:03Speaker 7: DJ being there and then drafting when Hansel walks up
- 48:07Speaker 7: is phenomenal, so good after funeral party, I just I
- 48:11Speaker 7: love the scene.
- 48:12Speaker 5: You get another hansle so hard right now.
- 48:14Speaker 3: So funny, He's so hard, so hot right now, ridiculous.
- 48:21Speaker 2: I love that, that's funny.
- 48:22Speaker 3: We could pick all those far them concerned.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I'm great, so many ding guys.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Those were the only ones I wrote down.
- 48:31Speaker 7: Oh I'll give my honor call the herd. You know,
- 48:34Speaker 7: I just kept writing them down. As as a new
- 48:37Speaker 7: scene would come on, I'd be writing that there's a new.
- 48:39Speaker 5: Scene, writing all the balls models.
- 48:41Speaker 7: Like when when they're first walking when yes, just Jerry
- 48:47Speaker 7: Stiller cooking for like three minutes and it's phenomenal.
- 48:51Speaker 5: I like the hypnosis video.
- 48:53Speaker 7: That's where I thought Will Farrell was actually really funny,
- 48:55Speaker 7: like he's.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, and when he's he does something, he's like,
- 49:06Speaker 2: that was pretty funny.
- 49:10Speaker 7: And then you got to give some love to the
- 49:13Speaker 7: making him reveal at the end right the clients of
- 49:16Speaker 7: the film, and.
- 49:18Speaker 2: That looks the exact same as Blue Steel.
- 49:20Speaker 7: Gets gets the hair on my arms, right, But it
- 49:23Speaker 7: does look the exact same.
- 49:24Speaker 5: But like when it happens, You're.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Like, whoa making him?
- 49:27Speaker 5: Like? You know what's making it right away?
- 49:30Speaker 2: I love it.
- 49:31Speaker 3: They set it up well, I like that they did.
- 49:33Speaker 2: They really set it up. I mean they mentioned it
- 49:36Speaker 2: so much throughout the movie.
- 49:37Speaker 3: Couldn't possibly it's not ready yet.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yeah to his dad, that's my boy, eight or nine years,
- 49:42Speaker 2: been working on it for eight or nine years.
- 49:44Speaker 4: Is just ridiculous.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Speaking of his dad that the scene like going into
- 49:49Speaker 3: the mines always cracks me up. And then when they're
- 49:52Speaker 3: in the bar after the mines, one of my favorite
- 49:55Speaker 3: scenes of this movie.
- 49:56Speaker 2: It's when you get the commercial. The commercial is incredible.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Commerci and the follow on line is one of my
- 50:02Speaker 3: favorite lines from this movie. It's nice, it's up there
- 50:06Speaker 3: for me.
- 50:06Speaker 2: It's so good, sounds like, sounds dangerously Yeah.
- 50:11Speaker 3: I was waiting for you guys to pick it up.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Yeah, gasoline fight, Yeah, going into the Center for Ants
- 50:20Speaker 2: and walk off a little bitt top three, the Triple,
- 50:23Speaker 2: the Triple dingy.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Well then yeah, we got some quotes we want to say.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Let's go and show me the.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Money, show me the money, show me. All right, Timmy,
- 50:39Speaker 3: you're first, so.
- 50:42Speaker 7: This is probably I'm the only one who would consider
- 50:45Speaker 7: this their favorite quote from this movie. But and I
- 50:47Speaker 7: feel like I say this every time on the pod
- 50:49Speaker 7: that I this is the quote I say most in
- 50:51Speaker 7: real life. But cool story, Hansel is my favorite line,
- 50:56Speaker 7: maybe of any movie and history. The delivery, I just
- 51:00Speaker 7: like and I use it anytime someone tells U my
- 51:04Speaker 7: oldly interesting story.
- 51:05Speaker 5: I just like to drop a cool story. Hands so cool.
- 51:10Speaker 3: That's pretty great.
- 51:11Speaker 5: So it's not the best line, but it's very much
- 51:13Speaker 5: my favorite.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, I love that. We'll say some more the.
- 51:19Speaker 5: You know, the one we talked about. What is this
- 51:21Speaker 5: the Center for ants?
- 51:22Speaker 7: I can be expected to teach children to learn how
- 51:24Speaker 7: to read if they can't even.
- 51:26Speaker 5: Fit inside the building?
- 51:27Speaker 7: And we got you starts like Derek, this is just
- 51:30Speaker 7: a small I don't want to hear your excuses. And
- 51:33Speaker 7: then my favorite part of that line is, yes, the
- 51:35Speaker 7: building has to be at least and he like does
- 51:38Speaker 7: the math in his head three times bigger than this.
- 51:42Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Oh he delivers. It's so good.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Oh it's brilliant.
- 51:49Speaker 3: That's a great one. What is the Center for ants?
- 51:54Speaker 3: That's the lot of the move for me. So good.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Anytime I see a model something I think anytime when
- 52:03Speaker 2: you at target Field, if you go up to that
- 52:06Speaker 2: section where we were bugs the last time, they have
- 52:11Speaker 2: like an old uh pretty much the model for what
- 52:15Speaker 2: they use to do target Field, and it's pretty small.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Think it every time. What is this a baseball food
- 52:22Speaker 2: for friends?
- 52:25Speaker 5: I want to go to the baseball game with you?
- 52:30Speaker 3: So funny?
- 52:32Speaker 2: Any more, Timmy, what do you say? Three more?
- 52:36Speaker 7: Another one I say a lot is they're in the computer.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Files after our previous struggles. Yeah, we had a real
- 52:50Speaker 2: uh gorilla hitting the computer moment.
- 52:58Speaker 3: That is also that's a great that's a great scene.
- 53:02Speaker 3: That's a good call.
- 53:03Speaker 2: The noises that they make, I mean, that's yeah two
- 53:08Speaker 2: thousand and.
- 53:08Speaker 3: One, that's a straight up space honestly.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so good we have.
- 53:16Speaker 7: There was a moment last night when she was sandwiched
- 53:18Speaker 7: between the two finished Dwarves and the Marari Craveesman when
- 53:21Speaker 7: I thought, Wow, I could really spend the rest of
- 53:23Speaker 7: my life with this woman.
- 53:24Speaker 2: That was incredible, so good. That's such a great line.
- 53:30Speaker 2: And then I say one.
- 53:32Speaker 7: The one, the one that starts off one of our
- 53:34Speaker 7: favorite scenes is Oh, I'm sorry, did my pin get
- 53:37Speaker 7: in the way of your ass?
- 53:39Speaker 2: Yeah? That was well fair, that's good.
- 53:41Speaker 5: That's good delivery.
- 53:43Speaker 7: That's what we totally see Andy Dick saying. And I
- 53:46Speaker 7: wonder if to screen tested it. That gets sound so
- 53:49Speaker 7: much like him, it really does.
- 53:51Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Oh, or are you here to tell me? What about
- 53:55Speaker 2: you googleizer? I am what you googleizer? One? Who's peaks
- 54:00Speaker 2: at funerals? Or did you think I was too stupid
- 54:03Speaker 2: to know what a ye? Googlely was so good?
- 54:07Speaker 3: How did they say it without cracking up? Like that's
- 54:09Speaker 3: so funny?
- 54:12Speaker 9: Do you ever think that maybe there's more life than
- 54:14Speaker 9: being really really really ridiculously good looking.
- 54:19Speaker 2: So good?
- 54:22Speaker 3: Oh?
- 54:22Speaker 2: When she's talking about her issues in the past and
- 54:25Speaker 2: she's like I became, he says, what blimic goes you
- 54:32Speaker 2: can read minds? I mean that is that's so good?
- 54:45Speaker 2: Damn handsel he's so hot right now. And then I'll
- 54:50Speaker 2: do one last one during the year googly, He.
- 54:54Speaker 9: Says, just because we have chiseled ebbs and stunning features,
- 54:59Speaker 9: it doesn't mean that we too can't not die in
- 55:02Speaker 9: a freak gasoline fight accident.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Why do you say so ah, so so funny? One
- 55:13Speaker 3: of them that I didn't notice before but that cracked
- 55:15Speaker 3: me up was the they're doing the like news report
- 55:18Speaker 3: and they're like, the age old right of children to
- 55:21Speaker 3: work is at risk. That's pretty great. I like that
- 55:28Speaker 3: one a lot. When he goes back and works in
- 55:31Speaker 3: the coal mine.
- 55:31Speaker 6: When he's like, I think I got the black lung. Pop,
- 55:37Speaker 6: it's not very well ventilated down here. And then Vot's like,
- 55:41Speaker 6: you're dead to me, boy.
- 55:42Speaker 3: More dead to me than your dead mother. I'm just
- 55:45Speaker 3: glad she's never lived to see her son as a mermaid.
- 55:49Speaker 3: And then this is one of my favorite lines. Yeah, Merman, pop.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Man, it's good Murman.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Anytime a mermaid gets brought up. I'm pretty much there.
- 56:04Speaker 3: You're saying, for sure, moman pop uh uh So you
- 56:11Speaker 3: can dare lick my balls, l Kathy Tan, I can't
- 56:15Speaker 3: dare lick my own balls, thank you very much.
- 56:18Speaker 4: Oh oh my.
- 56:20Speaker 3: Uh. Another one I loved was just models don't think
- 56:24Speaker 3: for themselves. They do whatever they're told. He's like, that's
- 56:27Speaker 3: not true, Yes it is, Derek, Okay, that's not the same.
- 56:33Speaker 3: But I loved it so much. And then when they're
- 56:36Speaker 3: doing the walk off and uh, Ohn Wilson goes, you
- 56:41Speaker 3: gotta cut me. I can't see I'm blind out there
- 56:44Speaker 3: and they cut his eyelashes and he's like, ah, that
- 56:49Speaker 3: really got me good.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Oh that was also. That was pretty cool. They got
- 56:54Speaker 2: David Bowie to do that too. He was great.
- 56:57Speaker 3: He was great. That was called God, that's funny. I
- 57:03Speaker 3: also like, Derek, You've been brainwashed to kill the Prime
- 57:06Speaker 3: Minister of Malaysia.
- 57:08Speaker 5: And mm hmm.
- 57:13Speaker 3: And I liked it. Oh and we talked a lot
- 57:16Speaker 3: about Will Ferrell. But one line I definitely say of
- 57:18Speaker 3: his from this movie is the doesn't anyone else notice this?
- 57:22Speaker 3: I feel like I'm taking crazy pills?
- 57:24Speaker 2: Is that where that was started?
- 57:26Speaker 3: I think so, because that used a lot A big
- 57:31Speaker 3: one for me. Yes with him, maybe he does say
- 57:34Speaker 3: it in a diferent movie, and I'm forgetting.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear that a lot from you.
- 57:40Speaker 3: It's so good. It is good a little bit, it's
- 57:45Speaker 3: got the other ones.
- 57:47Speaker 7: Yeah, So yeah, Timmy get One scene I didn't mention
- 57:49Speaker 7: is that I probably laughed harder than anywhere else in
- 57:51Speaker 7: the movie. Is the t scene before the orgy. So
- 57:56Speaker 7: it starts with why do you hate minels? Machilda? Honestly yes,
- 58:01Speaker 7: and they're vane, stupid and centered. I totally agree with you.
- 58:04Speaker 7: But how do you feel about male models? And a
- 58:09Speaker 7: giggle and their little buddy miss is just adorable. Later
- 58:13Speaker 7: and that scene I think it's later, but she says,
- 58:16Speaker 7: when I was in seventh grade, I was the fat
- 58:19Speaker 7: kid in my class and Derek goes ew just.
- 58:22Speaker 5: Immediately the way it also looks at him like.
- 58:25Speaker 7: Hangling, but also like trying to be the bigger person.
- 58:29Speaker 7: Those two just we're cooking in that scene.
- 58:31Speaker 5: Love it.
- 58:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I did. Like when he was talking to the
- 58:36Speaker 2: Coveney and he's like, but why male models? And then
- 58:41Speaker 2: he goes through the whole thing, talks for a long
- 58:44Speaker 2: time and he's like, yeah, but why male models.
- 58:47Speaker 3: It's so funny.
- 58:48Speaker 2: It's pretty good.
- 58:49Speaker 3: There's good trivia about that coming up here in a bit.
- 58:52Speaker 3: It's pretty funny. Yeah, a little bit. For a second there,
- 58:55Speaker 3: I thought someone was going to be reading are You Googly?
- 59:00Speaker 5: Was a fun callback.
- 59:02Speaker 3: It's so good, so good.
- 59:04Speaker 7: I liked when he goes home and he's like, can't
- 59:07Speaker 7: you pretend to be happy to see me?
- 59:09Speaker 5: And his dad goes, damn.
- 59:10Speaker 7: It, Derek, I'm a coal miner, not a professional film
- 59:12Speaker 7: or television actor. I love the way he delivers it.
- 59:19Speaker 3: It also cracked me up, especially knowing that it's his
- 59:22Speaker 3: daughter in law. But when Jerry Steeler is like, you
- 59:26Speaker 3: want to hear an opinion with a push up bra,
- 59:28Speaker 3: you could actually have a nice wreck of lamb going
- 59:30Speaker 3: on up there. That was great.
- 59:36Speaker 5: More, he has a couple, really, he has ah and
- 59:40Speaker 5: in his office.
- 59:40Speaker 3: I forget that.
- 59:41Speaker 7: I don't have a written down, but it's a it's
- 59:44Speaker 7: something like heads up, toushy squeeze.
- 59:46Speaker 2: I mean, oh yeah, that's right, which we can't do.
- 59:50Speaker 5: Though that delivery.
- 59:51Speaker 7: And then when he's on the phone at the end,
- 59:53Speaker 7: he's like, for Christ's sake, it's a cast, Sheila, it'll stay,
- 59:57Speaker 7: and he's starting to get her to bring the files
- 59:59Speaker 7: down mm hmm.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: When he's talking to himself, just trying to get a
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: little pee out. That was pretty great. Come on, baby,
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: you just hear a I gotta prostate the size of
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: a honeydew.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: Is good. I don't look forward to that part of aging. Yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Also, just the name of it, the Derek Zoolanders Center
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: for kids who can't read good and who want to
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: learn how to do other stuff good too. It's just
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: I mean, that's beautiful.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: It's so silly. I think that was all, all right, nice,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: that was a lot let's go, let's go and do
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: boohoo moments when wow the crying game. Yeah, I guessed
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: zero on this one. I feel like there were a
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: couple tender moments, but I don't know. It's so silly.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I did zero for myself. I'm gonna guess zero.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: I had one.
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: You had had one when Mitchellada was sandwich between the
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: two finished dwarves.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: And oh that was beautiful. You're right. It didn't bring
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: it to here. It was beautiful. It was more happy
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: tissues than sad tissues. Though for me, somm Yeah, this
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: is a this is a zero boom to zero. Not
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: a lot of booho's this year.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: No pretty stonehearted. As it turns out, we've.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Picked a lot of goofy here. It's been a fun year.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Really, it's been silly. Well, let's read some movie trivia here.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: So Derek's repetition of the line but why male models
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: for the second time in the cemetery scene was ad
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: libbed by the actors. Ben Stiller forgot his line and
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: simply repeated the earlier line again, but David Coveny just
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: went with it and gave him a straight up answer,
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: And it's so funny.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: That's so surprising because it definitely feels like part of
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: the movie.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, it's so perfect, it's so.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Funny, it works so well.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: But what I just.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Told you why men motos?
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: So silly?
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Dere Ceylanders Blue steel look evolved from Christine Taylor ribbing
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: her husband Ben Steeler about the way he combs his
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: hair in front of a mirror. So that's kind of
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: fun so good, so silly.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: The part of Hansel was written specifically for Owen Wilson,
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: and he said no one else was ever even considered
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: for it, so that's pretty crazy.
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: I love that sway, my Tucci.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: That makes sense, It makes sense, and I like it.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: Because he just a hero and Owen Wilson as a character.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: And three yeah, I liked a lot all of Ben
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Steeler's family members that were in this movie, so Christine
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Taylor's wife of course, Jerry Steeler's father, and Miro was
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: in it his mother, and then his sister. Amy Stiller
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: is one of Hansel's friends in the loft Owen. Then
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: he has a Mitch Winston is the director of the
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: infanmercial and that's his brother in law. So we got
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: all kinds of people were in this, all kinds. So
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Owen Wilson was filming behind animy Lines at the same
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: time as he was filming this film, and so he
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: wore a wig for the entirety of this movie.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Yeah, he had almost like a flat top for behind
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: enemy line. Super short, right, So I really liked that movie.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: Weird, weird casting all around.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: But yeah, those good movie. I just watched it for
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: the first time recently. It was good.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: Cool.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: Yeah, this film was banned in Malaysia because of the
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: use of a fictional Malaysian prime minister as the subject
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: of assassination. It was originally banned also in Singapore the
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: next door neighbor, but the band has since been lifted there.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: But I feel like that's fair. I feel like Malaysia,
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: that's fair. Now they would just make it, you.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Know, yeah, a country exactly.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: Ben Stiller wrote. David Bowie is seen as a judge
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: of the walk off into the script without knowing for
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: sure he would agree to it. So that's kind of fun,
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: like it was supposed to be in the.
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: All time because of his fashion.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Yeah, oh is that why that's fun?
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Brett Easton Ellis is the author of a nineteen ninety
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: eight novel, Glamorama, about a dim witted male model who
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: finds himself embroiled in a terrorist ring with roots in
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: the fashion industry. He sued ben Steeller following the rest
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: of this film, citing copyright infringement, and the case was
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: settled out of court. And it sure sounds like he
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: might have had a point there. Yeah, that's interesting.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Did you ever read that one? Timmy? I know you
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: were a Brett Easton Ellis guy.
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: I don't know if i'd say I'm a Brett Easton
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: Ellis guy.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Oh you made me less than zero?
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: And I remember like a viscerally.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: It was one of the dark movies i've or darkest novels.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: I've ever read it.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: I did not like, oh.
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: Yeah, you're mad.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: I really didn't like it.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: No, I haven't read a lot.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: I haven't even read Realism Attraction, which also was made.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: That was another movie. Huh? That was that the James
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Vanderbeek and had like a million people think that was
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: a dark movie too.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: I think, yeah, you think.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Did you read American Psycho?
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: No, I haven't read the book. I don't need you.
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: The first movie was perfect. I wish they wouldn't touch it.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Didn't we hear they were going to maybe read.
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: Yeah, it's it's gonna be awesome. Butler, I think it's
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: just interesting.
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: I don't I don't get it. I don't get it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: It's a it's a nearly flawless movie.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Yeah, why do you? Why do you do that one?
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: It's nuts?
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: But I don't know the books, so maybe the movie,
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: maybe there's more to work with.
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: Who knows?
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: Got you be? Yeah? That was interesting. Uh So this
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: came out in two thousand and one, we said, uh,
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: and they had to remove the World Trade Center towers
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: from some of the skylines of the shots. They had
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: to do that for a couple of movies, but this
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: was released only seventeen days after the attacks, and so
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: they were edited that one shot and then they just
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: like kind of they like they brushed over them in
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: one shot, and then one they sort of like just
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: moved the camera frame over to exclude them. I guess.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: So that's crazy.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that is wild. That would be a that's a
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: tough time to release a covity, but maybe people needed
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Let's see, when hansl said, who are you trying to
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: get crazy with? Essay, don't you know. They're the opening
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: alliance to Cypress Hill saw insane in.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: The Can you hear any of that?
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: But I'll get it on your you'll get it.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: It was really good whistle for the beginning and then
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: the beat.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: It was great.
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: I could see the thing because.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: Copyright reasons, but yes, it was lovely.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: I'm just kidding, idiot.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: The non graphic orgy sequence was originally longer, but shortened
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: to obtain the PG thirteen rating, so we'll look forward
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: to that. Yeah, that extra bit.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: I was watching that on my phone in my car
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: outside of my kids basketball practice yesterday, and I was like,
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: very aware of outside walking.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: It's not good. This is this is borderline.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: I get it.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: That's like, I'm plan.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: But dude, they are very liberal with what they put
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: on the screens now.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: They don't.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: They don't shock like ed at all.
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: To me, Like some of the violent yeah you.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Gotta yeah wild, it's pretty wild.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: You get a self censor of it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: I was watching something on my iPad once and like
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: didn't think about it, and I was like, my god,
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: the switch shows or films or whatever. So I was like, well,
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: this is just sex all the time. I can't be
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: doing this.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Mine was more horrible visual stuff in Midsomars, the one
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: that I think, Yeah, I had that on the iPad
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: on the iPad and I was just like, oh my god, yeah, yeah, dude,
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: It's like some of these will scar you forever.
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: See what would happen if you fell from a high area.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: And no, dude, And that, Yeah, that one in particular,
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: that would stick with I mean, it was what I
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: would see when I would close my eyes for the
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: next like four months in some of those.
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: Vis I liked that movie. I don't like horror movies,
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: but I liked it. I think the break colors like
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: make it that.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I mean it's extremely well done.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: But oh my Godoki.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: Yeah anyway, Uh, Saint Adonas cemetery, where the three male
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: models are buried after their free castoline fight accident, does
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: not exist. In fact, there is no such saint, but
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Adonis is a young man in ancient Greek mythology known
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: for his great that's funny.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: I didn't notice that.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: That's really good, but I thought that was great, great
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: little trivia. That was all I had.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Did you have some stuff from just the the part
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: of Mutu was originally written for Andy Dick.
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Yeah, they wrote it for him in mind, and he
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: couldn't do it because of something called go fish.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: Yeah what is that?
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: Whoses?
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: So this is why you threw me, because I got
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: I got the big facts here, oh.
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: By one internet blog.
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: The character Derek his debut by John ham John Hamburg
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: and the Hamburger.
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: Derek Zoolander.
- 1:09:58Speaker 7: The character made his debut at the nineteen ninety six
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: VH one Fashion Awards and was initially played by Stiller
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: to be a Luke Perry type.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Character Luke Perry, Okay, I like it.
- 1:10:10Speaker 7: It was a writer named Drake Sather saw him saw
- 1:10:14Speaker 7: Stiller playing a parody of Beverly Hills nine O two
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: one zero on The Ben Stellers Show and wrote this
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: character for the VH one Fashion Awards around.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: Him and was one of the writers in the film.
- 1:10:25Speaker 7: A little ted Lasso type of thing right because Ted
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: Lasso premiered as a character commercial and then the movie's
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: opening scene was shot during the two thousand VH one
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: Vogue Fashion Awards.
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: And commercials Love It Crazy, Love That.
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: Oh and lastly, Will Ferrell dyed his hair platinum blonde
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: three times and had to arrow wig for half of
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: the season of Saturday Night Live to cover up his
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: platinum hair.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Wow, come in, yes, I like it. It's fun. It's crazy.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: He was so hot right then?
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: So hot right there?
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Nice dude, nice trivia? Uh judgment day. Will there be
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: a sequel?
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: There wasn't. I haven't even seen it.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I just heard it was so bad. I don't want
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: to ruin.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: Say it's a yeah, why would you do it?
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Why would you do it? It's kind of like The
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: Dumb and Dumber two. I went and saw that in
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: the theater. I wanted to like it so much.
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: Bumming bummer too.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: I was laughing at a lot of stuff, just trying
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: to manufacture, and then after I was just like, oh
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: this is yeah. I didn't like it tough. So yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: there is one, and I'm scared me too.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: I'll probably watch it some day.
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: I suppose oh you kind of said it at the
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: onset right, Like handled incorrectly. This character is annoying it
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: I haven't seen the movie.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: Like.
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: One way to handle him incorrectly is just expose us
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: to like three hours between two movies.
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: Just gets you.
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: Can't say the same joke too long. And this one
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: drew the line at the perfect spot.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: Yeah. The only thing I did here was that it
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: was just like cameo, cameo, cameo Cameokay, Like it just
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: was that constantly. But sometimes I like those. Yeah you know,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: who knows?
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: Who knows?
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Would you guys like to play a game?
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I like games?
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Okay, great. I did a starting five. That's where I'm
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: going to name my five favorite actress from a particular film,
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: and when you know the film, you're going to ring
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: in with your name. If you get any of those wrong,
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: there won't be any negative points, but you won't be
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: able to guess again for that movie. Do you have
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: a question?
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: You have a question. How many games do you guys
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: have in your satchel?
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: We do?
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: We do a quotes game, we do a well in
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: the movie Trivia Nights. I'll do a whole jeopardy thing,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: which is fun. Bugs has been doing a lot of
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: different sound clips games, but that's usually just for our patrons.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: We've also done kind of like did you ever do
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: the movie Grid, where you you're basically trying to get
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: an actor's like least successful.
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: Like it's like the immaculate grip for Baseball Globe winners
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: and you want to pull out on pigular or something bizarre.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Right, Yeah. Uh so we've done things like that Initials game.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: Initials Game. We did that for years and then I
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: started running out of that.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: We did that, honestly, for I did that for.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: A long time, and that would take me so long.
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: The reason I ask, and I'm not complaining and I'm
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: not judging, but every time I'm on this show, it's
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: starting five.
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: This starting five, that.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: You're also really good at it.
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: I think I'm bad at it.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: Oh, thank you. I think you're really good at it.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: You tend to beat Yeah, but you've beat him more
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: than he's beat you, for sure, And Bukes beats most
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: of the guests.
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: So we don't let Rob play because he'd win every time.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: Starting five is also one of the easier ones to
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: put together.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: It is. It's a one that I can do pretty quick.
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Like like the Initials game, I really enjoyed making
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: those and like it was kind of a fun little
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: puzzle for me. But man, it took a lot of time.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: And I did it during COVID when I had a
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: lot of Yeah again, how this works? Five actors? No
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: negative points. Do you get it wrong? If their action
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: names remaining, you can guess those for a point each.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: The other person can still if you get any of
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: those names wrong. All of these films have something in common.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: It might just pertain to the movie we just talked about.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: When you know the theme, you're going to ring it
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: at any time for a point. Right, Let's go to

- 1:16:04Speaker 3: Yeah, he was his son, Damn jose he was.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: He was his son. Salidfield was Mary Todd Todd. And
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: then I don't remember which political figures Tomilly Jones and
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: James Spader were, but.
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: Remember James Vader.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: I do remember James Hater was. He was my favorite.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: He was like kind of funny that one.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: Same should revisit it same.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Only said at one time. All right, let's go number

- 1:17:23Speaker 3: is it that it's a one word title and it's
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: a character's name, the lead characters.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: More probably more specific their last name. It is their
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: last name.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: I knew the theme going in, and I still couldn't
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: pull Ali, which is frustrated. I was gonna get some
- 1:17:41Speaker 7: dumb independence of the out of my head.
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: I was like, he never said Charlie's throw on. This
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: can't be right.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: No, no, pull back, pull back. But you did get
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: two points, so you're on the board. Oh yeah, let's
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: go to number three. The first name is Maya Rudolph Oh.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: The second name is Val Kilmer, number three Ryan Phillippi.

- 1:20:06Speaker 2: tim It was called Maverick.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: I just got it.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: I just got it. You know that one's tricky because you.
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: Don't think of Maverick is necessarily a last last name.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: His name is like John Maverick.
- 1:20:20Speaker 7: Yeah, nah, first Actually it's actually a charming film. I
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: think I saw it on cable whenever I last had cable.

- 1:20:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

- 1:21:34Speaker 2: think of it.
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: That one name, and people want to just call him
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: that because it was hand.

- 1:25:18Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: And honestly, this one's tough because it was called it
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: did have a three name title initially, but now it's
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: just referred to as one, and that is Dracula. It
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: was brom Soakers Dracula when it first came out. You
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: look it up at Straculator.
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: Yeah, I guess someone owned the rates to Dracula probably
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: until those rates past.
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Yeah, interesting so yeah, which I've actually never seen that,
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: And I've heard that Keanu Rus is terrible in it
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: because the director did not want to give him any
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: notes because he was so nice, so sweet, horrible. Gotta
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: help him out, Help him out, dude, help him out.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: We get that he's wonderful, but help it. It's meter
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: to not help him, right, all right, let's go to
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: number nine. The first name is James Franco. Have we
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: seen any of his social media things that are happening
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: right now? Maybe possibly? Well, you know, he kind of
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: was canceled. I don't know all the ins and out,
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: but he seems like he's like trying to come back,
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: and it's weird, weird. It's kind of like when Spacey
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: was doing his weird stuff. But anyway, James Franco. The
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: second name is Diego Luna. The third name is Emil Hirsch,
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: the fourth name is Josh Brolin, so I'm not right,

- 1:27:05Speaker 2: bukesim Bukes milk, milk.
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: I'll sit there that one I didn't know.

- 1:27:18Speaker 2: I wouldn't get it till the last one either, A
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: lot of these until.
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: You get to the star whose name right?
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: Pretty much? I feel like that's how this next one
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: is going to be too. But we'll see number ten.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Where where are we?
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: Has two?
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: Timmy, do it? You might want to guess real early,
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: do it? So I'll give you the first name. You
