- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost Famous podcast with iHeartRadio. Welcome back
- 0:06Speaker 1: to the almost Famous podcast. It's Kaitlin Bell and I
- 0:08Speaker 1: met Bottle Rock with Bachelor Nation favorites Joan, Susan and Annalise.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Welcome, Hie Hi, thanks for having us.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I wasn't going to attempt last names.
- 0:19Speaker 3: It's good.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So this is day two of us in Battle Rock.
- 0:26Speaker 1: How are you guys doing so far?
- 0:29Speaker 4: This is my first day, so I'm ready to go. Yeah,
- 0:31Speaker 4: but I'm but I've been multiple times and it's one
- 0:34Speaker 4: of my favorite festivals of all times, so I'm so
- 0:37Speaker 4: excited to be back.
- 0:38Speaker 1: It's so fun. I feel like we have a really
- 0:39Speaker 1: good group.
- 0:40Speaker 3: It's really like and I love that we get to
- 0:42Speaker 3: meet people every time we get to do one of
- 0:44Speaker 3: these events. This one is a particularly fun one because
- 0:47Speaker 3: it's like great music, but then the food is insane
- 0:50Speaker 3: and it's great wine. So yes and great friends.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Tonight, I'm going to explore the wine. I said here,
- 0:54Speaker 5: I am in Netha and I didn't have wine yet,
- 0:57Speaker 5: would you drink?
- 0:59Speaker 1: Drink?
- 1:00Speaker 5: Had a blue moon because it was hot, it was
- 1:03Speaker 5: cold and big.
- 1:05Speaker 3: It was then they have this new Shandan Champagne has
- 1:09Speaker 3: a new sprits and it has orange and it comes
- 1:12Speaker 3: like in a bottle, already in the champagne bottle. And
- 1:14Speaker 3: I was drinking those, but I don't think they have
- 1:16Speaker 3: very much alcohol because I drank too and I usually
- 1:18Speaker 3: can't drink more than you drinks, and I didn't feel
- 1:19Speaker 3: it at all.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Those are my favorite though. It's like a pretty made
- 1:22Speaker 1: apple spritspace.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yeah, They're yummy. They were refreshing.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:27Speaker 5: The best part is the crowds, Like they're chill, they're
- 1:30Speaker 5: doing their own things.
- 1:31Speaker 2: They're grooven to the music, like who cares. It wasn't chaos.
- 1:37Speaker 5: There's a lot of people, but it wasn't chaotic until
- 1:39Speaker 5: you went to the bathroom.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yeah, there was.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Even reasonably like they were clean. I was impressed. I
- 1:47Speaker 3: was actually very very impressed. I've never been to a
- 1:49Speaker 3: festival before ever really, so like I haven't been to
- 1:52Speaker 3: I haven't been into so this was my first experience
- 1:54Speaker 3: and I love it. And I was like, if I
- 1:56Speaker 3: Heart doesn't ask us to come back, we're gonna We're
- 1:58Speaker 3: gonna buy tickets.
- 2:00Speaker 4: It's hard to go to another festival though, after this,
- 2:02Speaker 4: because it does like yeah, exactly, like right, the food
- 2:05Speaker 4: is so good.
- 2:06Speaker 1: There's so many.
- 2:07Speaker 2: That's where people dress.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Dress up, which I think is fun, but it's like
- 2:11Speaker 4: a different I think there's also like a stage of
- 2:13Speaker 4: life thing, like I think it draws a much younger
- 2:16Speaker 4: crowd and people who are like really influencer a heavy
- 2:19Speaker 4: whereas I feel like here you get just people who
- 2:21Speaker 4: are there to enjoy the food and yeah, and the music,
- 2:25Speaker 4: and you really get to see sort of a different atmosphere.
- 2:27Speaker 4: But I love the people, Like it's just a it's
- 2:29Speaker 4: always a good crowd.
- 2:30Speaker 3: It's always good, and they're really cool like pop up
- 2:33Speaker 3: in activations, Like they are really original and they're so
- 2:36Speaker 3: well done and really like high end.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just been.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Such a dance to everything. And then there was the
- 2:46Speaker 2: hip hop party.
- 2:47Speaker 3: We're going to do that.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I love coming to this my first festival with you.
- 2:51Speaker 1: But you're just like the life of the party. You're
- 2:53Speaker 1: just like making everyone.
- 2:56Speaker 2: That's what life should be, having a good time.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But I was Sally last night that this will ruin
- 3:01Speaker 1: every festival for you, Like it truly does Coachell. I
- 3:04Speaker 1: went back to Coachell. I'm like, it's terrible, Like this
- 3:06Speaker 1: is the best one.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I'm so happy that we got to do this because
- 3:10Speaker 3: I got the right one.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Things are spread out, but you can still like see
- 3:15Speaker 4: a lot of things where I feel like you are
- 3:17Speaker 4: like running and it's like things are spaced out, things
- 3:20Speaker 4: are sort of closer together at this You're still getting
- 3:23Speaker 4: your steps.
- 3:23Speaker 1: In for sure.
- 3:24Speaker 2: But I'm shocked.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Hell they can have two really big, like musical performances
- 3:31Speaker 3: going on the same time at two different stages and
- 3:33Speaker 3: they don't disturb each other.
- 3:36Speaker 4: It's crazy.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, And like I'm sure they figured out like facing
- 3:39Speaker 3: this way and facing this way or the acoustics how
- 3:41Speaker 3: it works. But it's done really, really really well.
- 3:44Speaker 5: The only better thing would be how I could put
- 3:46Speaker 5: myself in two places at the same time, because I
- 3:48Speaker 5: like this.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Well, tonight we have at the same time, and it's
- 3:53Speaker 3: gonna be hard to Eight fifteen is Backstreet Boys and
- 3:56Speaker 3: Ludacris is eight thirty.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So did you guys see Buster Rhymes last night?
- 4:01Speaker 3: Oh?
- 4:01Speaker 1: He was so funny. Smile on my face the whole
- 4:05Speaker 1: time everyone.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Was waiting for that No food Fighters And that's when.
- 4:11Speaker 1: No Bust of Rhymes was on. When the sun was up.
- 4:15Speaker 2: We so either we were dancing.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I don't think that I don't know which they was.
- 4:19Speaker 3: It was on the prodential was he was over the
- 4:22Speaker 3: other side. We didn't go over there, but you were
- 4:26Speaker 3: really there that much I was. I think I did
- 4:29Speaker 3: him a little bit because I went over to get
- 4:31Speaker 3: that champagne drink and they had an activation over there.
- 4:34Speaker 4: So yeah, I'm like that so funny. I just like,
- 4:36Speaker 4: if I hear music that I like, I'm interested. Like
- 4:39Speaker 4: half the time I don't know who's playing. People will
- 4:41Speaker 4: be like, who's your favorite band to see? Or like,
- 4:43Speaker 4: what's your favorite song a band? And I'm like, my blame,
- 4:46Speaker 4: my brain goes completely blank. Even though I know there
- 4:49Speaker 4: are songs, like I can sing every word, I could
- 4:52Speaker 4: not tell you.
- 4:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I couldn't take the name of a single song right,
- 4:54Speaker 5: I'm not the names of the band. And I left
- 4:58Speaker 5: the big prudential part. I was going for the bathroom.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Probably run there's another little stage and I went and
- 5:03Speaker 5: the guy was so good.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I was video afterwards. I was asking, do you know
- 5:07Speaker 2: who this is?
- 5:08Speaker 3: Nobody knew their names like up there.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Like I would listen to his music.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, but also it does introduce you to cool music.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Last year I was like I found a stage that
- 5:25Speaker 4: was playing really great music. And then afterwards I stayed
- 5:28Speaker 4: and watched another band and the artist there, they're called Hazlitt.
- 5:32Speaker 4: They came out and they were standing just watching and
- 5:35Speaker 4: I started chatting with him and I was like, now
- 5:37Speaker 4: we keep in touch on Instagram and know who they were, right,
- 5:41Speaker 4: and they really have a time you just and yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 4: I think it's so cool cool.
- 5:46Speaker 5: I mean it could be a movie star walk by
- 5:47Speaker 5: me and I might not know, but if I enjoy
- 5:51Speaker 5: your music.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I'll dance.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Okay, So who Ludicrous and Backstreet Boys anyone else? You
- 5:57Speaker 1: guys are excited to see Somber anyone? Yeah, they're right before.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Yeah, Mountjoy.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know they were. There's so many people
- 6:06Speaker 1: they're read before.
- 6:06Speaker 2: So I wish I came Friday. There was some I
- 6:09Speaker 2: missed she got that's like my error.
- 6:18Speaker 3: It was really good and I think Cool in the
- 6:20Speaker 3: Gang might be tonight and I wouldn't mind seeing them.
- 6:22Speaker 3: And you guys probably don't know a single School and
- 6:24Speaker 3: the Gang song.
- 6:24Speaker 5: But yesterday yeah, just like I didn't but play a song.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I thought I knew songs last night and I was like, yeah,
- 6:37Speaker 2: I never heard this.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I was need two songs.
- 6:40Speaker 3: I was shocked, really, none of them.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Oh I feel like I know what.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I thought like he was going to have a heart attack.
- 6:46Speaker 2: It wasn't that son was beating on his face. Was like, dude,
- 6:53Speaker 2: you're not twenty anymore.
- 6:56Speaker 4: That brought out like one of their sons or I
- 6:59Speaker 4: saw on Instagram like on the Bottle Rock page, but
- 7:02Speaker 4: one of the bands brought out their son and it
- 7:05Speaker 4: was like hard rock kind of. This was like, yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 4: like a little on the edge of like metal.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I don't know what you can this kid like hearing damage.
- 7:13Speaker 4: No he I mean he was probably twelve or something,
- 7:15Speaker 4: but he was on stage singing, and I was like
- 7:17Speaker 4: talented confidence of this, Yeah, be in front of.
- 7:21Speaker 3: All those people.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Yeah that I was sad. We made our way to
- 7:26Speaker 5: hear POLLI DJ.
- 7:29Speaker 2: We couldn't believe we were there.
- 7:31Speaker 5: It was a smaller and then all the people we
- 7:34Speaker 5: were with fans taking pictures and chatty and Joe notices
- 7:38Speaker 5: we they all have headphones.
- 7:40Speaker 3: On DJ and was silent, those silent DJ, so we
- 7:45Speaker 3: couldn't hear it. So we're standing there and I'm like,
- 7:47Speaker 3: I don't hear anything, And I'm like, he's up there,
- 7:53Speaker 3: why don't hear anything.
- 7:54Speaker 4: They're so fun. Though when you are in yesterday, you're.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Like, I didn't weird.
- 8:01Speaker 6: It was fine.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I was like, you know, I was doing a brand
- 8:06Speaker 3: deal with the Prudential. We were doing some filming and
- 8:10Speaker 3: they wanted me to go over there and do something
- 8:11Speaker 3: because part of it was like do things that scare you,
- 8:13Speaker 3: do things that are different at this age of life,
- 8:15Speaker 3: which is like has been my message. So they're like,
- 8:18Speaker 3: would you go do that? And I'm like, and I
- 8:19Speaker 3: had just said, you know, you just say yes to everything.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I'm like, no, I guess I have to say yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 3: So I had to go do it.
- 8:25Speaker 4: They have roller skating, roller skater I could.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Do that.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Place. I couldn't find that. Sorry, what was that techno?
- 8:38Speaker 2: Like music? House music?
- 8:40Speaker 1: Would that be in the silent disco area?
- 8:42Speaker 4: I don't know. Maybe maybe they can, but I never
- 8:45Speaker 4: heard it. I saw people roller skating.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a whole rink there.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Yeah, which is.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Building.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I sprinted the other direction, so I don't know.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You had a good bathroom.
- 9:01Speaker 1: But today we are going to play a game which
- 9:03Speaker 1: I'm really excited. We're gonna pull out these questions at
- 9:05Speaker 1: random from this bowl and we're each going to answer
- 9:08Speaker 1: the ones that we pull. None of us know what
- 9:10Speaker 1: the questions are. Answer another podcast for you guys, Please not.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Any answer could have sex in it.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Okay, first, who's me?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Okay, so let me get.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You're gonna have to pass the bowl.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Yeah, will never be able to.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Okay, Oh, I hope I can to ease you when
- 9:34Speaker 3: I'm tired. I hope I can see it. Oh my gosh,
- 9:37Speaker 3: look at it. Okay, what's what's more important? A guy
- 9:41Speaker 3: who can kiss or a guy who is good and bad?
- 9:44Speaker 3: Of course, in this scenario, you can't have both. Choose
- 9:46Speaker 3: one geezu. First of all, if he doesn't kiss good,
- 9:52Speaker 3: I'm never gonna go sleep. I'll never get there. You
- 9:56Speaker 3: have to kiss good. So I guess a guy who
- 9:59Speaker 3: kisses good. But and if he's not going to bed,
- 10:00Speaker 3: I'm probably not going to stay either.
- 10:01Speaker 2: So yeah, we could teach I feel like bed.
- 10:04Speaker 1: You can teach being a good kisser. You're really bad
- 10:07Speaker 1: in bed.
- 10:07Speaker 3: So but I had a guy who I remember this
- 10:10Speaker 3: so distinctly, and I was like, I will never just
- 10:11Speaker 3: that was like a really wet kisser. Like there was
- 10:14Speaker 3: like a lot of like a lot of lips, a
- 10:16Speaker 3: lot and I was like, I cannot get out of
- 10:18Speaker 3: here past the show or no, not on the show,
- 10:20Speaker 3: no younger years. And I thought, there's nothing worse than
- 10:24Speaker 3: a bad kisser. And so I don't know. I feel
- 10:27Speaker 3: like you can. I feel like you could teach how
- 10:29Speaker 3: to do stuff in bed that's easier than you could
- 10:31Speaker 3: teach someone how to kiss.
- 10:33Speaker 5: I think I had one of those big mouth with kissers,
- 10:36Speaker 5: isn't it kiss whoa?
- 10:38Speaker 2: Whoa? Close your mouth? Close you? Yes? I did. I
- 10:42Speaker 2: was like, what are you doing?
- 10:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah, start closed a little bit, like, don't you know
- 10:51Speaker 2: into it? I threw up in my mark. I can't show.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I just okay, here's my lucky one.
- 11:00Speaker 5: Would you rather accept a first impression rose from?
- 11:05Speaker 2: And why?
- 11:07Speaker 5: Jan, Pablo, Colton Underwood or Mel Owens?
- 11:12Speaker 6: Oh God, answer, I don't like you cannot.
- 11:24Speaker 5: I'm not talking about mel really, I would never And
- 11:27Speaker 5: the other two are too young, so I get another.
- 11:29Speaker 3: One put them back in there.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Answer my bachelor. So absolutely not one.
- 11:38Speaker 5: Thing you would do over from your time on the show.
- 11:42Speaker 5: If you had the chance, what would you do? I
- 11:48Speaker 5: would tell Teresa.
- 11:51Speaker 2: You did do that? Remember, She's like, did I really
- 11:54Speaker 2: say that?
- 11:56Speaker 6: Like, yes, Teresa, you're nonsense short of a time.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I love it. Yes, I jump out of the cake
- 12:05Speaker 2: again though.
- 12:07Speaker 3: That was so funny.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Who is the greatest Bachelor of all time?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Oh?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yess heck yeah, Joey was pretty good.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Well, now, Joey was just loved by everybody.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just cute and sweet. Ben had a hard
- 12:37Speaker 3: stuff and he was good.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Yeah's married to the most wonderful woman, one of my
- 12:41Speaker 1: best friends. Okay, is this the phone one? Pull out
- 12:47Speaker 1: your phone.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You don't have phones. I'm not doing that.
- 12:53Speaker 3: No, yeah, good thing, I don't have my phone.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Would you watch Taylor Frankie Paul season if it aired?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Why or why not?
- 13:04Speaker 3: That's a really good we should have to answer that one.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I I just am still mad that they picked her
- 13:12Speaker 1: to be the Bachelorette.
- 13:12Speaker 4: I don't know that I would I feel the same.
- 13:15Speaker 4: I wouldn't. I mean I maybe would watch like snippets,
- 13:18Speaker 4: but like on Instagram or whatever. If I saw pieces,
- 13:21Speaker 4: I'd be kind of curious, but I wouldn't seek it out,
- 13:25Speaker 4: just because I don't really support her as a pick.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think i'd watch it with like a different lens,
- 13:31Speaker 3: like not with somebody not as somebody falling in love,
- 13:34Speaker 3: but as somebody I could just kind of want to
- 13:36Speaker 3: see how off the rails raws. You'd be curious, I'd
- 13:40Speaker 3: be curious, and I'd be curious a little bit of
- 13:41Speaker 3: how she kind of I don't know if she's faking
- 13:44Speaker 3: it or how she like separated herself from the other
- 13:47Speaker 3: life and like like actually experience this maybe may to
- 13:52Speaker 3: see if it looks real, like if she really did that.
- 13:55Speaker 4: I think that's one of the things that was like
- 13:56Speaker 4: disappointing to me as her as a pick originally, is
- 14:00Speaker 4: that I felt like people were going to be watching
- 14:02Speaker 4: it just because they were curious to see how off
- 14:04Speaker 4: the rails.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Would be versus totally agree with.
- 14:06Speaker 4: You all of the other people to really want to
- 14:11Speaker 4: see people fall in love, and that's like a very
- 14:13Speaker 4: different concept, right.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Well, I think that they were willing to lose. Maybe
- 14:17Speaker 3: some of the Bachelor fans that watch for the love
- 14:20Speaker 3: part of it like us and gained the.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Dramas that's what it's about, and will watch it because
- 14:29Speaker 5: of it because they want ABC to continue because that's.
- 14:32Speaker 1: What and they're mad that people are influencers, but they
- 14:35Speaker 1: still follow them and they still watch the show. It's like.
- 14:40Speaker 5: I get to watch it because I talk about it.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I would like I kind of want to see it.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I just kind of want, you know, what I think
- 14:49Speaker 3: is going to happen. I think that people are going
- 14:51Speaker 3: to tune in for a few episodes just to get
- 14:54Speaker 3: an idea of what's happening. They're going to know kind
- 14:56Speaker 3: of how it turns out, like she does fall in
- 14:58Speaker 3: love whatever, but then it doesn't work out, and so
- 15:00Speaker 3: everybody already knows that. That's common knowledge. So they're not
- 15:02Speaker 3: going to take it all the.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Way to the end.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Yeah, but they're going to lose interest.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I'm curious when they're going to do it.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I feel like it'll be the summer. But I I
- 15:10Speaker 1: wonder if they're going to cast someone else, like Maura
- 15:12Speaker 1: Higgins was being thrown around, but she said no. I
- 15:16Speaker 1: still feel like they should do like a live something
- 15:19Speaker 1: with a.
- 15:20Speaker 4: New my April fools.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Yes, what was it?
- 15:23Speaker 4: I posted that I was the new Silver Bachelorette because
- 15:28Speaker 4: I'm forty one, and I was like, I was like,
- 15:30Speaker 4: let's get you know, and I said, I said, like
- 15:33Speaker 4: first time ever live Silver Bachelorette. I love it And
- 15:39Speaker 4: it was funny like so many people thought it was real.
- 15:41Speaker 4: But I also am like I've always sort of been
- 15:44Speaker 4: in this boat where I'm like, we don't have that
- 15:46Speaker 4: demographic covered that like forty fifties, I've been saying it, yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 4: and those are people that are like people are getting
- 15:53Speaker 4: married later, they're having babies later, they're just like maybe
- 15:57Speaker 4: they're divorced, they're on their second marriage ever. But you're
- 16:00Speaker 4: getting like a very different person that's looking for a
- 16:03Speaker 4: lot exactly.
- 16:04Speaker 3: And people are still looking for I think that they're
- 16:06Speaker 3: really serious, like they're looking at their biological clock and
- 16:09Speaker 3: they are thinking, if I'm going to do this, the
- 16:11Speaker 3: need to do this soon. And I think that that
- 16:13Speaker 3: is a really good demographic because they are interested. They
- 16:15Speaker 3: are doing their.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Twenty three year old. It's like they've got a judge time,
- 16:19Speaker 1: totally want to get want to get married.
- 16:22Speaker 4: And as somebody was three in the dating world too,
- 16:27Speaker 4: like I'm not taking my time. If I meet somebody,
- 16:30Speaker 4: I'm not gonna if I like see red flags, I'm
- 16:32Speaker 4: like I'm out. Whereas like when I was in my twenties,
- 16:35Speaker 4: I was mour thirties. When I was I was like
- 16:37Speaker 4: they weren't really Yeah, maybe he's going to grow up,
- 16:43Speaker 4: whereas now I'm like, no, he's if he.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Doesn't mage together now a very good job and like
- 16:49Speaker 3: own his own car.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Are we doing another round?
- 16:52Speaker 3: Okay? Here go, I'm getting all the ones that you
- 16:57Speaker 3: guys threw back in digging from the phone one. Yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 3: I don't have the.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I don't want my phone. Maybe that would just get
- 17:10Speaker 2: stuck to this.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Okay. Would you rather audibly fart every time when someone
- 17:19Speaker 3: said the Bachelor or poop your pants every two months?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Wait? What would you rather?
- 17:26Speaker 3: Would you? Would you rather audibly fart every time someone
- 17:30Speaker 3: said the Bachelor or poop your pants every two months?
- 17:35Speaker 4: I don't know, is like whoever ever wanted.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I would fart audibly and then blame it on Susan.
- 17:44Speaker 5: Because it was definitely, by the way, it was delicious.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It wasn't my meat.
- 17:54Speaker 3: She's sticking to that story.
- 17:55Speaker 2: The producers came down wish in my ear.
- 17:59Speaker 5: It wasn't so many of them.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Oh, I'm fine, I go, I know.
- 18:06Speaker 5: What does the Bachelor franchise need to do in order
- 18:10Speaker 5: to succeed?
- 18:12Speaker 3: Hmmm, that's a really hard one.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Put me in the lead.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Don't think they confide enough men to be old.
- 18:22Speaker 3: No, I think you'd be eliminating a lot quickly.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Night one, you're just lining them up and you're like no, no, no, no.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not going to work.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Truly, say something, what do you think they need to do?
- 18:33Speaker 3: I really want to know what people think they need to.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Do, honestly, go back to the way it was right
- 18:40Speaker 5: dearly about love, And I think they should alter some things,
- 18:45Speaker 5: especially for shows that are a little bit older, Like
- 18:49Speaker 5: there's not enough one on one time. These group dates
- 18:54Speaker 5: make less people go. You can't have twelve or thirteen
- 18:57Speaker 5: people in a group date, maybe four or five feet
- 19:00Speaker 5: so you're really getting to get to know somebody. Not
- 19:04Speaker 5: everybody can have a one on one, but that would
- 19:06Speaker 5: be ideal for somebody to really spend time because how
- 19:10Speaker 5: would I know on.
- 19:11Speaker 2: A group day seven?
- 19:13Speaker 1: So that was good.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I think more of that and really make it
- 19:18Speaker 2: about love.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you're so right. I think like going
- 19:20Speaker 4: back to sort of the original format because also I
- 19:23Speaker 4: think what's happening is they're trying so much to become
- 19:26Speaker 4: what is popular instead of being like their own entity
- 19:30Speaker 4: and being like this separate thing.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yes because TV.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Yeah, and they had like a great thing going, and
- 19:36Speaker 4: even though maybe it got like a little dated, I
- 19:38Speaker 4: think people now are oversaturated with like the Love Island
- 19:41Speaker 4: and things like that, true, and they're like they would
- 19:43Speaker 4: love to get back to. And that's also just calling
- 19:45Speaker 4: in different people, different viewers that are like interested in
- 19:48Speaker 4: seeing that kind of reality TV played out. You know,
- 19:52Speaker 4: there's like people are not wanting to see Love Island
- 19:54Speaker 4: for every TV show.
- 19:56Speaker 5: So another thing I might add that I would like
- 19:59Speaker 5: to be some part of the decision who the lead is.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Let me interview these people with you, especially the men
- 20:06Speaker 5: lead Burf Goldens anyhow, Like, let me be a part
- 20:10Speaker 5: of that, because not everybody wants a middle Midwestern or
- 20:15Speaker 5: you know, like the personality. I don't know what it is.
- 20:18Speaker 5: Who's doing this, who's doing that? Search Like Grenmell, I mean,
- 20:22Speaker 5: God bless him. He's happy as could be with PEG,
- 20:24Speaker 5: and I'm happy for them. But what he said, and
- 20:28Speaker 5: he said that's like taboo, and we all forgave him.
- 20:32Speaker 5: We all open our mouths and insert our pot trust me.
- 20:36Speaker 5: I know, oh so well, but do your homework and
- 20:40Speaker 5: really get other people's point of view before you decide
- 20:44Speaker 5: who the lead is.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I agree, it's like it's too frustrating. It's happened too
- 20:48Speaker 1: many times. You might tell me now, yeah, but I
- 20:51Speaker 1: also think back to what we were saying earlier. We
- 20:53Speaker 1: need to be like thirty thirty five, forties because twenties
- 21:00Speaker 1: and Don's too young. They are so dumb. And I
- 21:05Speaker 1: also think, like pivot and do a side show because
- 21:08Speaker 1: Beyond the Villa is doing well and people want to
- 21:11Speaker 1: support the couples that are in love. So people have traders,
- 21:14Speaker 1: people have Beyond the Villa. So focus on successful couples
- 21:17Speaker 1: that came from the show, and whether it's traders and
- 21:21Speaker 1: like competition style or something you know.
- 21:23Speaker 3: That would be fun, Like they haven't you know, they
- 21:25Speaker 3: have a spin off, you know, Paradise, but have a
- 21:28Speaker 3: spin off that had the couples, not the people that
- 21:30Speaker 3: didn't find love.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I love that.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I do so like the success stories.
- 21:34Speaker 4: There are a lot of the season that was sort
- 21:36Speaker 4: of like that, I want to be on the Mall,
- 21:38Speaker 4: but they didn't. I don't think it took off. I
- 21:39Speaker 4: want to say it was one Ben was with Lauren.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Well Ben Ben did have a spin off right then
- 21:44Speaker 1: I had like an ABC Family show.
- 21:46Speaker 4: I feel like there was like maybe I'm wrong but
- 21:48Speaker 4: I feel like there was they tried something where they
- 21:50Speaker 4: did that. But I do think that that would be
- 21:51Speaker 4: a good idea to show what life is like after
- 21:55Speaker 4: for the people had.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Heard my own show, and I'll have all you guys
- 21:58Speaker 5: on and you do your life right. I mean that
- 22:01Speaker 5: would be a big hit.
- 22:02Speaker 6: I mean into the real life.
- 22:05Speaker 5: Yeah, Guardashians would never be the same, follow us to
- 22:08Speaker 5: ram with the camera.
- 22:10Speaker 1: There's like find the people that people are still interested in,
- 22:15Speaker 1: and yet it'll be successful.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Okay, I know my answer already for this one. Who
- 22:22Speaker 4: is on your Bachelor Nation Mount Rushmore? You would have Ben, Ashley,
- 22:26Speaker 4: I Wells, and Trista.
- 22:29Speaker 2: That's nice, that is nice. I can't even answer that question.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I love Bob. I'm gonna put Bob gin be here.
- 22:36Speaker 2: I usually get to see him this time.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I know I missed him last time. Oh that's a
- 22:41Speaker 3: hard question. I had to answer that before and I
- 22:42Speaker 3: can't remember what I said. But I think we all
- 22:44Speaker 3: say Ben, which is really funny. Ben is always I
- 22:47Speaker 3: feel like there should be another bachelorette in there, and
- 22:50Speaker 3: I can't think of who it would be. I mean, certainly, Trista,
- 22:53Speaker 3: you're right about that. Yeah, was there another I mean, oh,
- 22:57Speaker 3: you know, I really like she can't Oh god, I'm
- 23:00Speaker 3: drawing it like on her name, which is really bad
- 23:01Speaker 3: because I interviewed her. She had a baby, her boyfriend
- 23:05Speaker 3: was a race car driver and he was in a plane.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Emily Maynor, I love her because she told him to
- 23:13Speaker 3: get the gag and I love that that the rest
- 23:16Speaker 3: of my life. Jeff Holme, right, yeah, yeah, yikes. Yeah,
- 23:20Speaker 3: And it didn't work out like yeah yet it didn't
- 23:23Speaker 3: have to work out to be a good season because
- 23:24Speaker 3: Ben Didin's really didn't eventually work out.
- 23:27Speaker 1: But I just thought she was a really good bad
- 23:29Speaker 1: She was good and Jojo it was amazing.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Jojo was great. I agree. Okay, we have some girls
- 23:34Speaker 3: up there next.
- 23:46Speaker 1: We're almost halfway through twenty twenty six. What's one thing
- 23:48Speaker 1: you want to do before the year ends?
- 23:52Speaker 2: Just one that's hard?
- 23:53Speaker 4: Where do you think it?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Oh, I'd love to have a.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Baby, but I don't know by the end of the year.
- 23:57Speaker 3: It'd be hard because it's it is you know, yeah,
- 24:05Speaker 3: you for baby, Yeah, I love I hope you. Okay,
- 24:12Speaker 3: that's a good one to channel out into the university.
- 24:14Speaker 3: But you stand out there.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I mean I guess I think just traveling. Really have
- 24:19Speaker 4: like not traveled a lot the last couple of years,
- 24:21Speaker 4: and I just sold my house, so I feel like
- 24:23Speaker 4: I'm finally free, and I got to figure out what's
- 24:27Speaker 4: in store for me next, and I don't know what
- 24:29Speaker 4: that is, so I'm gonna never know. Yeah, I'm going
- 24:31Speaker 4: to take the next year to like try out different
- 24:33Speaker 4: towns and get airbnbs and just like see where I
- 24:35Speaker 4: feel aligned and that when.
- 24:39Speaker 3: It comes to you in like Maryland, yea, I'd love
- 24:42Speaker 3: to have you. I'd love to host you and I'll
- 24:44Speaker 3: show you around.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I love that.
- 24:45Speaker 3: It'd be fun.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Yeah, is there anything that you can think?
- 24:48Speaker 3: I think I'm trying to figure out. I know it
- 24:50Speaker 3: like after you come off the show, like life looks
- 24:53Speaker 3: a little different for a little while, and so mine
- 24:54Speaker 3: did for like the last year and a half, and
- 24:56Speaker 3: now it's settled down a little bit. So I kind
- 24:58Speaker 3: of want to figure out, like what what's in next
- 25:00Speaker 3: thing of like after the show, like what it looks
- 25:04Speaker 3: like after the show. I hope it's a lot of podcasting.
- 25:06Speaker 3: I love podcasting. I think it's so fun, So I
- 25:09Speaker 3: hope that's part of it. And then I don't know
- 25:11Speaker 3: what like the other like that doesn't feel enough hours
- 25:14Speaker 3: in the day, so I have to figure it's what
- 25:16Speaker 3: the other thing is. I do a lot more volunteer work,
- 25:18Speaker 3: and I like to do I like to be involved
- 25:20Speaker 3: in charity work. So that's good. And like if like
- 25:23Speaker 3: we all have a voice that's a little bigger than
- 25:25Speaker 3: what it ever was before. So like we have a
- 25:27Speaker 3: good platform to do a little good.
- 25:29Speaker 2: In the world. Right.
- 25:31Speaker 5: I just hope my son's wife gets pregnant again this year.
- 25:36Speaker 5: My daughter's family does well where they were struggling for
- 25:38Speaker 5: a minute. But it's more about what I want for
- 25:40Speaker 5: other people's happiness than myself. I'm enjoying mine, but I'm
- 25:44Speaker 5: wide open whatever happens.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I'm ready.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I think our family's getting bigger. Maybe you will.
- 25:50Speaker 3: I have to have a daughter and a daughter in
- 25:52Speaker 3: law who are pregnant, and so I'm getting married, so like.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Four weeks. Yeah, my two babies are live, I know,
- 26:01Speaker 2: I know, so sweet.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, So I think all good stuff or get.
- 26:05Speaker 2: My own show. Yeah, I'm always about that.
- 26:09Speaker 4: I'll show with you.
- 26:10Speaker 3: We can like the Golden Girls, you know, like fifty.
- 26:16Speaker 5: Yeah, Peo were like we got it well, remember when
- 26:24Speaker 5: when I went to the first Golden Bachelor, first show,
- 26:29Speaker 5: Golden to me was social Security sixty five and not
- 26:34Speaker 5: I'm in the limma with this one.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Look at her and she was sixty or sixty two
- 26:39Speaker 2: whatever it was. But I was like, wait, they did
- 26:42Speaker 2: not tell me.
- 26:44Speaker 4: That's not fair.
- 26:45Speaker 3: We were standing across from each other that that's when
- 26:48Speaker 3: I first.
- 26:49Speaker 1: How old is she? Shut up?
- 26:54Speaker 2: There was a few that were barely sixty.
- 26:56Speaker 3: There were, yeah, there were three or four of us
- 26:58Speaker 3: that were.
- 26:59Speaker 2: But great castle, it was great, so sweet, good people.
- 27:03Speaker 1: All Right, well we got to get out of here
- 27:05Speaker 1: and get makeup done and head to Bottle Rocks. Thank
- 27:08Speaker 1: you for listening. This has been the almost famous podcast
- 27:10Speaker 1: with Susan Jon and Annalise and myself Caleb Bell.
