Janice Earliene Harrelson Carr, a beloved matriarch and trailblazer, passed away at 89, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and community service. Born in 1937 as the eldest of twelve siblings, she earned a degree in Business Administration and became a celebrated poet and genealogist, publishing books and winning awards for her work. A devoted mother of seven and grandmother to twenty-one, she found her greatest joy in family, while also serving as a Boy Scout den mother, church volunteer, and nursing home helper.
