- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, folks, Well you heard about Terminolo's take earlier today.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Well I'm back because I want to stick to my
- 0:06Speaker 1: promise of also giving you news that as taxpayers we
- 0:11Speaker 1: should care about. And yes, just like it was in
- 0:15Speaker 1: twenty eighteen, the Trump Putin summit mattered a lot today
- 0:21Speaker 1: and in its entirety. Basically, here's what Donald Trump, the
- 0:25Speaker 1: President United States, had to say about today's meeting with
- 0:29Speaker 1: Vladimir Putin.
- 0:31Speaker 2: So, just to put it very quickly, I'm going to
- 0:34Speaker 2: start making a few phone calls and tell them what happened.
- 0:37Speaker 2: But we had an extremely productive meeting and many points
- 0:42Speaker 2: were agreed to, and there are just a very few
- 0:46Speaker 2: that are left. Some are not that significant. One is
- 0:49Speaker 2: probably the most significant. But we have a very good
- 0:53Speaker 2: chance of getting there. We didn't get there, but we
- 0:55Speaker 2: have a very good chance of getting there. I believe
- 0:57Speaker 2: we had a very productive meeting. There were many many
- 0:59Speaker 2: points we agreed on most of them. I would say
- 1:03Speaker 2: a couple of big ones that we haven't quite gotten there,
- 1:07Speaker 2: but we've made some headway.
- 1:09Speaker 3: So there's no deal until there's a deal.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I will call up NATO in a little while, will
- 1:16Speaker 2: call up the various people that I think are appropriate,
- 1:20Speaker 2: and of course call up Presidents Olensky and tell them
- 1:22Speaker 2: about today's meeting.
- 1:24Speaker 3: It's ultimately up to them.
- 1:26Speaker 2: They're going to have to agree with what Marco and
- 1:29Speaker 2: Steve and some of the great people from the Trump
- 1:33Speaker 2: administration who've come here, Scott and John Ratliffe, thank you
- 1:38Speaker 2: very much.
- 1:39Speaker 3: I would like to.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Thank President Putin in his entire team, whose faces, who
- 1:44Speaker 2: I know in many cases otherwise other than that, whose
- 1:48Speaker 2: faces I get to see all the time in the newspapers.
- 1:51Speaker 2: You're very You're almost as famous as the Boss, but
- 1:55Speaker 2: especially this one right over here.
- 1:58Speaker 3: But we had some good meetings of the years, right.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Good productive meetings over the years, and we hope to
- 2:03Speaker 2: have that in the future.
- 2:04Speaker 3: But let's see the most productive one right now. We're
- 2:06Speaker 3: going to stop.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Really five six, seven thousand, thousands of people a week
- 2:11Speaker 2: from being killed, and President Putin wants.
- 2:14Speaker 3: To see that as much as I do.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So again, mister President, i'd like to thank you very much,
- 2:19Speaker 2: and we'll speak to you very soon and probably see
- 2:21Speaker 2: you again very soon.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Thank you very much. Vladimir next time in Moscow.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Oh, that's an interesting one. I'll get a little heat
- 2:31Speaker 2: on that one. But I could see it possibly happening.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Latimir, and thank you all, thank you,
- 2:38Speaker 2: thank you, thank you so much.
- 2:43Speaker 1: My incant reaction here on one leg up with Alex
- 2:45Speaker 1: Garrett is I think he was a little more forceful,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but he still made a couple of remarks that we're
- 2:52Speaker 1: head scratching. I mean, why are you calling Vladimir Putin
- 2:56Speaker 1: the boss?
- 2:57Speaker 3: You're almost as famous as the boss.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You are the president of the United States. You should
- 3:04Speaker 1: be feeling the boss energy yourself. And I get it,
- 3:09Speaker 1: all right while he's talking to his Russian you know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: uh people, his staff or whatever. But to me, admitting
- 3:21Speaker 1: on a global stage that Putin is the boss should
- 3:26Speaker 1: not be taken with a grain of salt. I thought
- 3:32Speaker 1: today he should come out tougher and stronger, and maybe
- 3:36Speaker 1: behind closed doors he did not cave to Putin. But
- 3:41Speaker 1: when he says.
- 3:41Speaker 3: This, you're almost as famous as the boss.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It raises an eyebrow or two. And I hope that
- 3:52Speaker 1: a he doesn't go to Moscow. That would be really
- 3:54Speaker 1: bad and a bad look. But secondly, I hope that
- 4:00Speaker 1: he can hear Zelenski out on this, and he can
- 4:04Speaker 1: also truly navigate a deal but not through calling Putin
- 4:12Speaker 1: the boss. That's just not right, especially when Tony lentto
- 4:21Speaker 1: the Yankees here. Donald Trump was a guest of the
- 4:25Speaker 1: Boss George Steinbrenner, who I'm sure would be very upset
- 4:31Speaker 1: right now if he heard that Donald Trump called Putin
- 4:36Speaker 1: the boss in air quotes. He's a dictator, President Trump.
- 4:42Speaker 1: He's not a boss. He's not anything clever, and he
- 4:48Speaker 1: needs to be shut down before more hell is unleashed
- 4:53Speaker 1: in Ukraine. You don't have one leg up in this
- 4:56Speaker 1: deal if you call him the boss, and you did,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and it'd be even worse if you went to Moscow now,
- 5:06Speaker 1: So don't think about that, and think about the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: you're talking about him. It's like you're not admonishing him at.
- 5:12Speaker 3: All when you call him the bus.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So please, next meeting, I only invite Zelenski. I know
- 5:19Speaker 1: you had the EUIF with him in February, but also,
- 5:24Speaker 1: for the love of God, be stronger with the guy
- 5:27Speaker 1: with Putin. Don't make him feel all appease and all
- 5:34Speaker 1: that other stuff. Just get a deal and not be
- 5:40Speaker 1: fancy about it. Sincerely, this US taxpayer, Alexander Garrett
