Coast Guard Saves Fishing Crew | Seattle News
A fishing boat called the Nora J sank off Washington’s coast after a collision, but thanks to a lightning-fast Coast Guard rescue, all three crew members were pulled to safety before the vessel fully submerged. The other boat, the Tabitha, suffered minimal damage and no injuries. Rescue teams arrived by 8:25 AM, working swiftly in calm conditions with light waves and a gentle breeze. The Tabitha stayed to assist, and while the incident is still under investigation, the Coast Guard is relieved they prevented any lives from being lost at sea.
