- 1:00Speaker 3: Sure as man?
- 1:01Speaker 5: We got in here first thing in the morning. In
- 1:03Speaker 5: the morning, we were here at about five thirty, queuing
- 1:05Speaker 5: up to get through the doors and glad we did
- 1:07Speaker 5: because it has just been rammed all day. Have have a
- 1:09Speaker 5: lot of support for Bell Camps in New Zealand and
- 1:12Speaker 5: Bell Cancer Awareness, and we are going to do them
- 1:15Speaker 5: proud today.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Kezy certainly are Mogi Sorry threw me off there? Usually
- 1:20Speaker 1: you throw to Jason and Hills.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Something horrible to you, but that's not the way we
- 1:24Speaker 5: today's about.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yeah, not that we do that anyway, fellows. No, I
- 1:28Speaker 3: mean we always support Kezy. Just before you kick off there, Kezi,
- 1:31Speaker 3: what's with a massive heiccky on your neck?
- 1:34Speaker 6: Did you notice that?
- 1:34Speaker 3: Hell?
- 1:35Speaker 6: They did.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:36Speaker 1: My wife got pretty excited that it was Dayan Lou
- 1:38Speaker 1: too today. She knew that there'd be a lot of
- 1:39Speaker 1: people hanging around. Sure, so it was sort of like
- 1:42Speaker 1: put a little stamp on it, you know, sold, I'm
- 1:44Speaker 1: off the market, you might say, just just quickly on
- 1:47Speaker 1: my technique, Jason, you're gonna have to hold it closer
- 1:49Speaker 1: to your mouth, mate, just so that you sound better.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Yeah, but you forget Kezy.
- 1:53Speaker 6: I was in there.
- 1:54Speaker 3: I was in the theater, mate, so I project my
- 1:57Speaker 3: voice so I don't actually have to have it so
- 1:58Speaker 3: fiercely close as you do.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I suppose if it was any closer, you'd be
- 2:02Speaker 1: able to hear you breathing through that snozz of yours.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So but hey, it's great to be down here at
- 2:05Speaker 1: the Empire Tavern raising money for Bell Cancer New Zealand.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Text the word loud to three seven seven nine, instant
- 2:11Speaker 1: three dollar donation. It is one hundred percent community funded
- 2:15Speaker 1: and receives no government assistance. So do be generous, do
- 2:18Speaker 1: get stuck, and don't.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Be like Jace. Text lou right now to three seven
- 2:21Speaker 6: seven nine and donate three bucks.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Over the course of the day, we'll be talking to
- 2:25Speaker 5: a lot of experts in and around the Bank Bell
- 2:27Speaker 5: Cancer area and we're hoping that by the end of
- 2:29Speaker 5: the day we will have convinced Jase to make that
- 2:31Speaker 5: three dollar donation.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Absolutely, last year.
- 2:35Speaker 6: It didn't happen, did it, Jason?
- 2:36Speaker 3: Absolutely? It's a massive shall we head? It's a massive afternoon,
- 2:39Speaker 3: so do come on down if you're in the Auckland CBD.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Let's get into some chin shall we before we get
- 2:45Speaker 3: some comedians.
- 2:46Speaker 2: On Ah the Darky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 2:52Speaker 2: Minogue and Keisy He.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Is indeed muse there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 2:57Speaker 3: line from the Empire Tavern and the Auckland CBD for
- 3:00Speaker 3: a day in lou too. Hey, fellas, if you don't mind,
- 3:05Speaker 3: I'd just like to get a bit of admin out
- 3:07Speaker 3: of the way before we fully get into the show.
- 3:09Speaker 3: If that's okay, sure, man, you'll realize and remember that
- 3:14Speaker 3: yesterday I put a business proposition in front of you
- 3:18Speaker 3: higher houghdy J's head.
- 3:21Speaker 6: That's right.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, So people could pay and then you would give
- 3:24Speaker 1: them your head.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Give them I'd give them my head for a length
- 3:27Speaker 3: of time. Depending on how long the length of time is,
- 3:30Speaker 3: you know, would equate to how much they would pay me.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I just want to say it's been massively successful. I
- 3:36Speaker 3: have been absolutely inundated with people wanting houghdy Jay's head,
- 3:41Speaker 3: you know, and some strange requests. I was thinking, like,
- 3:45Speaker 3: you know, a month span sort of thing, mogi, or
- 3:48Speaker 3: maybe a four month span. A lot of requests for
- 3:50Speaker 3: just thirty minutes, a few requests for Hoidy j Head
- 3:53Speaker 3: for just ten minutes. So it's been really tricky trying
- 3:57Speaker 3: to work out, you know, the costs.
- 4:00Speaker 5: I think a little word of advice here, man, I
- 4:03Speaker 5: think you need to bring in a manager. Sure, somebody
- 4:06Speaker 5: to act as an intermediary between you and the punters.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Good idea that person or oftentimes I will take a percentage,
- 4:14Speaker 5: but what they'll also do is manage all of the negotiations.
- 4:17Speaker 6: And keep you safe as well.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Sure, because people can often be unhappy depending on you know,
- 4:22Speaker 5: how the transaction goes. Somebody like Pugs would be very good.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Putson would be great. Actually, it would be great. Incidentally,
- 4:28Speaker 3: later on the show, there's always Connie chat with Pugs on.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Oh that's happening.
- 4:34Speaker 1: What about if you're getting so many requests, would you
- 4:36Speaker 1: open it up to say, like missus Hoidy J.
- 4:39Speaker 3: No, I think it's just got to be higher Hoidy
- 4:42Speaker 3: J's head, right, you know, I don't want to confuse
- 4:45Speaker 3: the message out there. I just wanted to say. The
- 4:47Speaker 3: reason I bring it up because I'm booked out for
- 4:48Speaker 3: the next two years basically, right, So, well, that's hats.
- 4:54Speaker 1: People are sending you their hats. Is it still that
- 4:57Speaker 1: you wear them and that's the business or.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Yeah, there's been a few other different requests occasions where
- 5:03Speaker 3: you will wear a hat. I will wear a hat sometimes, easy,
- 5:06Speaker 3: for sure.
- 5:07Speaker 5: I've been told that a lot of the times if
- 5:08Speaker 5: you've got a camp on, you have to turn it
- 5:10Speaker 5: backwards exactly.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but yeah, I'm absolutely staked, so much so
- 5:15Speaker 3: that I'm going to have to, you know, stop it
- 5:16Speaker 3: in its tracks as we speak.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Yeah, well that's a boomer man.
- 5:19Speaker 5: You might also be able to consider franchising that out. Sure,
- 5:25Speaker 5: you could sort of have stores all around the country.
- 5:27Speaker 5: It's just people, you could. It's the sort of thing
- 5:29Speaker 5: you could have on the side of the street as well.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Absolutely, why not? Little Yeah is that legal totally?
- 5:34Speaker 5: Well, you can get a permit, right, you get a
- 5:37Speaker 5: permit from the council there, Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah, a good, good idea.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And why don't you do it sort of during the
- 5:43Speaker 1: hours where other people aren't selling stuff, so that you know,
- 5:46Speaker 1: you can get more foot traffic of nighttime?
- 5:49Speaker 6: Nighttime? Yeah, that's when I targeted.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Oh, I love the ideas are flowing.
- 5:53Speaker 5: It is a good idea as well, because you often
- 5:54Speaker 5: find at nighttime people have had a few beers and
- 5:56Speaker 5: they're going to make a few bad decisions.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Sure, sure, so that it could be not that hiring
- 6:01Speaker 3: hiring my head is a bad.
- 6:02Speaker 6: Decision, It might be one that they would have make sober.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Sure, well maybe, yeah, it might be one they regret
- 6:07Speaker 3: in the morning.
- 6:08Speaker 1: For sure, I can picture, you know, one am comes around,
- 6:11Speaker 1: I've responsibly had a few and then I just text
- 6:13Speaker 1: through to O eight hundred Hoidy J's head, just you
- 6:16Speaker 1: up question Mark and then we meet it a place
- 6:19Speaker 1: and then just go from there.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Sounds good, Keys, he sounds good. Let's get back to
- 6:22Speaker 3: the tune, shall we?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Absolutely, and don't forget text Lou to three seven seven
- 6:26Speaker 1: nine an instant three dollars donation to Bowcanson, New Zealand,
- 6:30Speaker 1: too good, and also come down to the Empire Tavern
- 6:32Speaker 1: in Auckland.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Here's Black Sabbath, the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt,
- 6:38Speaker 2: Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Yes, indeed Black Sabbath.
- 6:42Speaker 1: There.
- 6:42Speaker 3: You're listening to the Big Show this Wednesday afternoon life
- 6:45Speaker 3: from the Empire Tabin and the Auckland CBD. If you're
- 6:48Speaker 3: in the area, come on down and say get a one,
- 6:50Speaker 3: don't you.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right.
- 6:51Speaker 1: We've been broadcasting live here all day for a day
- 6:54Speaker 1: in lou number two.
- 6:55Speaker 6: It is our second year doing this. Then we're trying
- 6:57Speaker 6: to get it up and running.
- 6:58Speaker 1: If you don't know what it is full details day
- 7:00Speaker 1: and Lou dot co dot in zere. But the skinny
- 7:02Speaker 1: of it is that we are trying to raise funds
- 7:04Speaker 1: and also awareness for bal cancer New Zealand. Text the
- 7:08Speaker 1: word Lou to three seven seven nine instant three dollar donation.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Fellas you get onto that would your hody j thanks mate, Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 5: just you know, well, you know, in terms of my
- 7:17Speaker 5: bowel movements, I'm.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Pretty meticulous, fellows. Yeah, I'm very observant. Two perfect tubes
- 7:22Speaker 3: every morning around six eighty five, drop down to two.
- 7:26Speaker 3: It's dropped down to two. Cut back on the diet
- 7:29Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 7:30Speaker 6: The change of bell habits is actually a symptoms, so
- 7:33Speaker 6: you go get checked.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Oh okay, good idea.
- 7:35Speaker 6: Yeah, it's true and you do have to stay on
- 7:37Speaker 6: top of it, horedy ja.
- 7:38Speaker 5: I agree with you there, mate, And one of the
- 7:40Speaker 5: ways that I do it well, as you say the
- 7:43Speaker 5: achisi there's a change in stool, so I might go
- 7:45Speaker 5: from solid to more of your the diarrhea sort of
- 7:49Speaker 5: sort of situation will be switching back and forward between
- 7:52Speaker 5: the two.
- 7:52Speaker 6: So a real variety.
- 7:54Speaker 5: And what you're looking for is that nice smooth consistency
- 7:57Speaker 5: of steel and the best way to check that I
- 8:00Speaker 5: find is getting in there and just between the fore
- 8:03Speaker 5: finger and the thumb.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Yes, and that's just once a month you can do that.
- 8:06Speaker 5: So you're digging around in there. You don't have to
- 8:08Speaker 5: dig around. You shouldn't have to dig around. It should
- 8:10Speaker 5: be just right there beneath the surface.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And you reach in with your forefinger and you pull
- 8:14Speaker 1: a bit out and you just play with it.
- 8:15Speaker 5: You don't have to just to ride out just above
- 8:16Speaker 5: the water there, but just to give an idea of
- 8:18Speaker 5: what you've got.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Like you're putting a bit of salt on your meal,
- 8:21Speaker 3: thank you, Yeah, a pinch moogy thank you?
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yeah, nice man, nice.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Right, you're not doing that, Keysy, We No, I don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: do that. No, well you should be doing that well,
- 8:29Speaker 1: to be honest, I'm thirty two. I should go and
- 8:31Speaker 1: you know, get a colon os could be done.
- 8:33Speaker 6: Yeah you've had one. I have you said? It was
- 8:36Speaker 6: a great time. Yeah, I mean yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 5: We'll probably start talking about colon Osky's later because this
- 8:40Speaker 5: is I want to get this through to you that
- 8:42Speaker 5: this is an important thing to do as well.
- 8:44Speaker 6: Keys all right, the actual the sort of reaching down
- 8:47Speaker 6: and getting amongst it physically with your own.
- 8:49Speaker 3: In terms of your stool's keysy since you're not doing that,
- 8:53Speaker 3: you know, because I've often been fascinated between the difference
- 8:56Speaker 3: of your your regular mid day stool and your midnight
- 8:59Speaker 3: Steve for example, you have Yeah, I mean obviously there's
- 9:04Speaker 3: different things going on there is there.
- 9:07Speaker 6: To be honest, mate.
- 9:08Speaker 3: In terms of consistency, it's clockwork.
- 9:10Speaker 6: For me, it's all the same, and I'm the same
- 9:12Speaker 6: as you. JS you're up at six that you're doing it.
- 9:13Speaker 6: I'm not far behind you.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I'm following you in there at about seven thirty and
- 9:19Speaker 1: that's daily for me, and then the occasional midnight one,
- 9:21Speaker 1: which fortunately hasn't become too much of a thing on
- 9:24Speaker 1: the big show.
- 9:25Speaker 3: I've got to be honest with you, fellas. We're sitting
- 9:27Speaker 3: on a stage here, sitting on toilets, and I'm finding
- 9:30Speaker 3: it a little bit triggering, you know what i mean.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Being in this position, my body is sort of you know,
- 9:35Speaker 3: this is my quiet time for so I'm getting a
- 9:38Speaker 3: bit of bow trembling going on at the moment, just
- 9:41Speaker 3: like it's like muscle memory. You brain's going I'm sitting
- 9:44Speaker 3: in a barg I need to do my three perfect yes.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Sit straight, up and down like that pretty much for me.
- 9:49Speaker 5: I've sort of got an elbow on each knee. I'm
- 9:51Speaker 5: leaning forward. I generally have a book in my hands.
- 9:55Speaker 5: I'll be catching up on the latest toss or you
- 9:57Speaker 5: ski or something similar to that.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yes, I have a book on the tour that I've
- 10:00Speaker 3: had the same book for twelve years.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Yeah. I like to do wrote that, Hener Hugh Hefner.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I like to just sit there quietly, to be honest,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and just not have anything stimulating my brain and just
- 10:11Speaker 1: being at one.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, there's a lot going on when you're doing it, Keysy,
- 10:16Speaker 3: so you know what, at one with your twos.
- 10:19Speaker 6: That's exactly right, Mogi.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Now, exciting news coming up. We've got comedian James must
- 10:25Speaker 3: have been coming in here.
- 10:26Speaker 6: That's right. For the entire Dan Lou.
- 10:27Speaker 1: We have been flushing away the adverts and replacing the
- 10:30Speaker 1: nice comedy breaks, various comedians coming in and reading the
- 10:33Speaker 1: jokes that people have ticked through on three four eight three,
- 10:36Speaker 1: So please keep those jokes coming.
- 10:38Speaker 6: And we will be getting to those over the next
- 10:40Speaker 6: few hours. Beautiful, that's a tune, Jays cake it okay?
- 10:45Speaker 6: You love kk hell Yeah.

- 11:20Speaker 6: Hello, listen to adoring crowd.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Yeah, they love you, James.
- 11:25Speaker 8: My gosh, nice to see you all my fans.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And I can I just say too, it's nice to
- 11:30Speaker 3: see a wine glass with a decent amount of wine
- 11:32Speaker 3: in it, you know what I mean, instead of just
- 11:34Speaker 3: like a little squirt.
- 11:36Speaker 8: I'm actually Comedians off to make fun of me because
- 11:38Speaker 8: I when I'm on stage, I hold the mic in.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Hand.
- 11:44Speaker 5: You're nice, quite powerful, Okay, okay, do you order a
- 11:49Speaker 5: double with the Yeah, this is a double.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Good stuff of course. If you're listening right now, come
- 11:56Speaker 1: on down to the Empire teven. You can also donate
- 11:58Speaker 1: three dollars right now by texting Lou to three seven
- 12:02Speaker 1: seven nine.
- 12:02Speaker 6: That's Bell Cancer New Zealand. James, you do a lot
- 12:05Speaker 6: of charity stuff.
- 12:06Speaker 8: Man, Yes, I once one hundred thousand dollars for charity.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Really, how'd you do?
- 12:12Speaker 5: That?
- 12:13Speaker 6: Wasn't on a TV show? Yeah, cently was far out,
- 12:16Speaker 6: So James took out the top spot on Celebrity Sure
- 12:19Speaker 6: Island one hundred thousand of charity. How did you feel
- 12:21Speaker 6: after that?
- 12:21Speaker 8: God, the charity didn't contact me for ages.
- 12:24Speaker 6: Was sorry.
- 12:25Speaker 8: I should say that charity is amazing, especially my chosen charity,
- 12:30Speaker 8: Bell Cancer Foundation.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Yes.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Nice, Yes, well that's pretty good. You've given a one
- 12:36Speaker 5: hundred thousand dollars to a single charity. We're trying to
- 12:38Speaker 5: get Jokes to donate three dollars through the text today
- 12:41Speaker 5: to Bell Cancer New Zealand.
- 12:43Speaker 6: We're chipping away, man, we're chipping away. I've I've got
- 12:45Speaker 6: high hopes.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Yeah. Look, I'll be honest with you, James. I do
- 12:48Speaker 3: a lot of you know, sort of charity work myself.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Like what, Jason, I do a lot of you know,
- 12:54Speaker 3: free gigs and all that sort of stuff. I donate
- 12:57Speaker 3: to a lot of charities. I don't want to get
- 12:59Speaker 3: into it much. I don't want to be blowing my
- 13:02Speaker 3: own horn, if you know what I mean.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I don't think screaming at homeless people on Queen Street
- 13:06Speaker 5: is a free geek?
- 13:07Speaker 6: Oh you don't?
- 13:08Speaker 3: Does that not well?
- 13:09Speaker 1: To be honest, look at the bright side between you
- 13:11Speaker 1: and James must have picked You've You've donated one hundred
- 13:13Speaker 1: thousand dollars to charity.
- 13:14Speaker 6: So that's pretty damn you should be proud of that.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Now we have flushed out all the commercial breaks, We've
- 13:19Speaker 1: replaced them with jokes read by comedians, and those jokes
- 13:22Speaker 1: are sent in by the listeners on three four eight three.
- 13:25Speaker 6: James, you've got to listen to them. You haven't pre
- 13:27Speaker 6: read any of these, right, I haven't. All right, yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 6: because there are a lot of racist ones coming through.
- 13:31Speaker 6: But that's all good news here about it? Right at
- 13:33Speaker 6: my wheelhouse?
- 13:34Speaker 3: No, just kidding, Okay, shall I far away? James?
- 13:40Speaker 8: I've got a friend in North Korea?
- 13:42Speaker 3: Or no, that's already so can you do that in
- 13:46Speaker 3: a North Korean.
- 13:48Speaker 6: I've got a friend in North Korea.
- 13:51Speaker 8: I asked them how it was over there at the
- 13:53Speaker 8: moment they see you can't complain.
- 13:56Speaker 6: It's at the end of the I can't complain. Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 6: you get it. No, I'll get in trouble. Joseph's like.
- 14:07Speaker 3: Brain fade.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, nice, Okay.
- 14:13Speaker 8: If a bluebird has blue babies and the blackbird has black.
- 14:20Speaker 6: What breed of bird has no babies? I have no idea. Okay,
- 14:27Speaker 6: it's a swallow. Oh my god, who said these it?
- 14:31Speaker 3: What the hell? Man?
- 14:36Speaker 6: Once you just reminded these not James jokes. These are jokes.
- 14:39Speaker 6: Listeners might have to keep some of them.
- 14:42Speaker 3: That was a shocker. I got that one mogie.
- 14:47Speaker 6: That's good. That's got a big response. Is it Is
- 14:50Speaker 6: it risky to go for a closer? Do you go
- 14:52Speaker 6: for a third James? And we're going to be happy
- 14:54Speaker 6: to wrap it up there?
- 14:55Speaker 8: Yes, okay, I'm liking the look of this next one.
- 14:58Speaker 8: I'm looking for the girl next door type. I'm just
- 15:02Speaker 8: going to keep moving house till I find her.
- 15:05Speaker 6: Ah, after the swallow one, it's not quite doesn't shame,
- 15:09Speaker 6: It doesn't have the shame.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Maybe just do one more then?
- 15:12Speaker 6: Okay? All right, final Joe.
- 15:15Speaker 8: Whenever someone says I don't believe in coincidences.
- 15:19Speaker 6: I say, oh my god, me neither. Why is it
- 15:26Speaker 6: just finishing with two squeaky cleve ones? And they're two
- 15:30Speaker 6: very ropable ones to begin. Yeah, yeah, beautifully delivered.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Hey, James delivered. Thanks for coming in, mate, you're going
- 15:36Speaker 3: to stay and finish your wine, of course.
- 15:38Speaker 6: You're good on you, mate, take about five minutes or
- 15:40Speaker 6: you can we wake around.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Applause for James mush I think everyone.
- 15:44Speaker 6: Yeah, let's get back to the chance. Don't forget.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Text load of three seven seven nine instant three dollar
- 15:49Speaker 1: donations of Bow Cancer New Zealand.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Of the Hodiking Bing Show podcast Chemical Brothers there on
- 15:54Speaker 3: the radio. Holdankee big show. I like from the Empire,
- 15:57Speaker 3: Taving damn Luke too.

- 16:02Speaker 1: Come on down, get a monkst We are raising funds
- 16:03Speaker 1: for Bell Cancer, New Zealand. Text the word loud to
- 16:06Speaker 1: three seven seven nine instant three dollar donation. And also
- 16:10Speaker 1: make sure you you know, check yourself regularly. You were
- 16:12Speaker 1: saying earlier, Mogi that you actually sometimes reach in there
- 16:15Speaker 1: and check after you've sort of gone to the toilet,
- 16:17Speaker 1: just to make sure the consistency is right.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Well, that's right, because you know, it can be a
- 16:21Speaker 5: sign of an issue if there's a change in the stool,
- 16:24Speaker 5: if it moves from all over the firmer number, okay,
- 16:27Speaker 5: sort of a little bit more watery, okay, cool. And
- 16:30Speaker 5: you reach in with your hand, well I did, like
- 16:33Speaker 5: for example, I did it on Sunday. Just yeah, yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 5: I mean it's the easiest way to do it. Why
- 16:39Speaker 5: do you use your hand though? I feel like, you know,
- 16:41Speaker 5: reaching down into it.
- 16:42Speaker 6: It's sort of.
- 16:42Speaker 5: While I'm there getting my phone out, I might as
- 16:44Speaker 5: well have a feel of that as well. So it's
- 16:45Speaker 5: sort of a two birds one stones your phone was
- 16:48Speaker 5: in their phone was in there, my keys and my
- 16:49Speaker 5: wallet because I had my baggy pants on with the
- 16:51Speaker 5: holes in it. But yeah, it's just it's easy, just
- 16:53Speaker 5: straight in there with your hand, a bit of a wrap,
- 16:55Speaker 5: grab your phone and your wallet, your keys if they're
- 16:58Speaker 5: in there.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I've got to be honest with you, Mogi. There's something
- 17:02Speaker 3: reassuring about having a little piece of your excrement between
- 17:06Speaker 3: your finger and thumb. There's something very reassuring about it,
- 17:10Speaker 3: that's right, you know what I mean.
- 17:11Speaker 5: And it helps you retrace your steps as well, exactly right, Yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 5: I forgot about that.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, you know what you've been and what you've
- 17:16Speaker 6: been up to, right, Okay, well I'll give that a
- 17:18Speaker 6: go from now on. Whatever my wallet's and there.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah, just check it out.
- 17:22Speaker 6: Does that happen quite often? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah right, okay,
- 17:25Speaker 6: good to no.

- 18:03Speaker 5: it can be tough in front of a crowd. Why
- 18:05Speaker 5: don't you use your wiping hand and that'll be a
- 18:06Speaker 5: bit stronger.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Yeah for sure.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Oh yeah, which is my other hand, because I use

- 27:23Speaker 1: Pugs and I are paying six hundred and fifty dollars
- 27:26Speaker 1: each for the weekend.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Well, no, it was actually eight hundred minutes because Maggie's
- 27:30Speaker 3: a bit short on cash at the moment because he's
- 27:32Speaker 3: bought that new mansion and herne bay.

- 27:44Speaker 1: this is important, it's team building, and she basically was like,
- 27:48Speaker 1: you can't just spend eight hundred dollars, you.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Know, on a batch weekend for you and the flowers.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Look, he's the good news is that's all changed? Read
- 27:56Speaker 3: the money because.
- 27:57Speaker 6: Yeah, because otherwise I was gonna have to pull out.

- 28:00Speaker 3: You hate pulling out.
- 28:01Speaker 6: I know.
- 28:03Speaker 3: The thing is and I had a good think about it,
- 28:07Speaker 3: and I think you'll agree with me. Mogi. Pudson has

- 28:20Speaker 6: That was like thirty percent of the audience pugs On man,
- 28:22Speaker 6: that would work, mate.
- 28:23Speaker 3: That was massive. And I was thinking, you know, it
- 28:26Speaker 3: doesn't sit right with me, and I hope you fellas
- 28:29Speaker 3: agree with me that I charge Pudson to come to
- 28:33Speaker 3: the family batch. I'd rather he just come, relax and
- 28:37Speaker 3: do his own things. So if it's good with you fellas,
- 28:39Speaker 3: I'm just going to say the Pugs don't worry about
- 28:41Speaker 3: the cash.
- 28:42Speaker 6: Yeah, good on your brea.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Absolutely, I one hundred percent agree with that, definitely. And
- 28:46Speaker 1: then so with my situation does change me as well?
- 28:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it does change you, because obviously you're going to
- 28:50Speaker 3: have to cover Pugs and that's going to be sixteen.
- 28:53Speaker 6: Hundred bucks for you, Keysy. It's expensive for one person.
- 28:56Speaker 3: It is quite expensive.
- 28:57Speaker 5: I think I speak on behalf of you when I
- 28:59Speaker 5: say that. There's a lot of money, brother, and you've
- 29:02Speaker 5: just come back from two weeks in Bali and a
- 29:03Speaker 5: week on the Gold Coast. So if you can't make it,
- 29:06Speaker 5: we could just say next time.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Oh totally keasy. Look if it's out of your reach,
- 29:10Speaker 3: it'll just be the three of us. That's all kid,
- 29:12Speaker 3: So that's all Gekesy, No, hang on, sorry, just because
- 29:15Speaker 3: I want to go right.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It's team building, you guys. You know it's not the
- 29:17Speaker 1: big show without all Kezy there. You guys have seen
- 29:19Speaker 1: that hundreds of times. And if Pug Soun's going for free,
- 29:23Speaker 1: MIC's going for free because he's got no cash at
- 29:25Speaker 1: the moment. Yeah, because he bought that mansion and herne bay.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I just don't see where I have to pay sixteen
- 29:30Speaker 1: hundred dollars. And also my wife's not going to go
- 29:32Speaker 1: for that, ma ad maaf.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Oh, well the reality is, Keysy, you don't have to
- 29:37Speaker 3: if you don't want to pay the sixteen hundred. That's fine, mate, have.
- 29:40Speaker 6: You look I want to come?
- 29:43Speaker 3: Boy?
- 29:43Speaker 6: Do I want to come? All right? I just don't
- 29:46Speaker 6: know how to broach it with my wife.
- 29:48Speaker 5: Yeah, you want to come and you don't want to
- 29:49Speaker 5: pull out. I can understand that. Well, look it'll be funny,
- 29:52Speaker 5: heaven you there.
- 29:54Speaker 6: What do you mean funny?
- 29:55Speaker 5: Well, you Knowesse, you get pussed up and you're sort
- 29:57Speaker 5: of stumbled around the joint banging into walls and that always.
- 29:59Speaker 6: Makes me laugh. So yeah, I would like to have
- 30:01Speaker 6: you there for that.
- 30:02Speaker 5: So I guess we could work through a few scenarios
- 30:05Speaker 5: there about because I know how afraid you are of
- 30:07Speaker 5: your wife.
- 30:07Speaker 6: So why don't we do that? Hoidy j sounds good?
- 30:09Speaker 3: Man? OK? After this next year?
- 30:11Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 30:11Speaker 6: Yeah? What I like role playing?
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeah, having a role play.
- 30:14Speaker 6: You're going to role play my wife?
- 30:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll roll play your wife, Kezi, No say it
- 30:19Speaker 3: like that. No, I'll role play your wife. It's all
- 30:22Speaker 3: gene man, it's all good.
- 30:23Speaker 2: The Hodaky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 30:28Speaker 2: Kezy is indeed big.
- 30:29Speaker 3: There on the radio Hodanky Big Show Live from the
- 30:32Speaker 3: Empire Tavern in the Auckland CBD for a day and
- 30:36Speaker 3: Lou too.
- 30:37Speaker 1: The Empire Tarvan, I love the entire If you're in
- 30:42Speaker 1: the Aria, come on down, get the monks. We're raising
- 30:45Speaker 1: funds for bel Canton, New Zealand raising a witness as well.
- 30:47Speaker 1: If you'd like to donate three dollars text the word
- 30:49Speaker 1: Lou to three seven seven nine now Fellers flow flowers.
- 30:54Speaker 6: I've just found out the batch.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Trip to Hoidy J's family batch is now going to
- 30:58Speaker 1: cost me sixteen hundred dollars for two rights. Yeah, a
- 31:00Speaker 1: good deal of that food included and petrol. Well, hang on, no,
- 31:04Speaker 1: that's that's crucial. But the issue is my wife. There's
- 31:07Speaker 1: no way she's going to let me do that. She
- 31:09Speaker 1: didn't want me to spend eight hundred dollars lett alone
- 31:11Speaker 1: double that. Sure, So if you guys said that, you
- 31:13Speaker 1: will do some role playing and basically teach me how
- 31:16Speaker 1: to go about the situation so that when it comes
- 31:19Speaker 1: time to broach it with.
- 31:19Speaker 6: Her I'll be able to talk around.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:21Speaker 5: That's right, And this is a common technique technique used
- 31:23Speaker 5: in acting Hoidy Jane Ges role playing. It allows you
- 31:27Speaker 5: to be spontaneous and it really gets you to focus
- 31:31Speaker 5: on the listening, right, you have to focus in on
- 31:33Speaker 5: your scene partner and listen my scene. So in this instance,
- 31:38Speaker 5: it's going to be hoity j You guys will get
- 31:41Speaker 5: started off. One might chip in a few ideas as
- 31:42Speaker 5: we go along as well. Okay, that'll just keep you
- 31:45Speaker 5: on your toes.
- 31:45Speaker 6: So howdy j.
- 31:46Speaker 9: You're my wife, I'm your wife. A sorry, my wife
- 31:51Speaker 9: and my sorry. You're my wife, yeah, my wife, and
- 31:55Speaker 9: I'm me Yeah, you're you.
- 31:57Speaker 3: You're keesy and I'm your wife.
- 31:59Speaker 6: Okay.
- 32:00Speaker 1: So I've just got home from work at seven thirty.
- 32:05Speaker 1: She's in the kitchen. She just gonner no, seriously, because
- 32:10Speaker 1: I work later than her. She's got dinner started and
- 32:12Speaker 1: I walk in. Hey, babe, how are you going?
- 32:15Speaker 3: Not very well? Actually, Keezy, the bloody dinner's ruined. What
- 32:18Speaker 3: time do you call this?
- 32:19Speaker 6: Well, it's seven thirty. It's the same time we get
- 32:21Speaker 6: home every day. Sorry, babe.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And look it smells nice. Don't patronize me. I've burnt
- 32:27Speaker 3: the porkmant's keezy.
- 32:30Speaker 6: That's all right. We've got plenty more of it in
- 32:31Speaker 6: the freezer. Babe, you know that. Hey listen, well, I've
- 32:34Speaker 6: got you here in my kitchen.
- 32:36Speaker 5: It's not a good times because she's not in a
- 32:38Speaker 5: great mood, but because she's try to cheer her up first. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:43Speaker 5: you don't want to ask for a favorite this moment
- 32:44Speaker 5: in time. Tell her how good she looks.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Oh, you might have burnt the porkmants, but it's not
- 32:51Speaker 1: the only thing that's hot, because you're looking hard as well. Babe,
- 33:01Speaker 1: Babe said Mike, Did I do something wrong? Thought you
- 33:05Speaker 1: ask your wife? Did you like that compliment?
- 33:09Speaker 3: Don't worry about a kizier right, I'll make you a
- 33:12Speaker 3: sandwich or something.
- 33:14Speaker 1: That's fine. I can make my own sandwich. I'm not
- 33:16Speaker 1: running a hoardy j set up. Hey, babe, though, seriously, though, well,
- 33:19Speaker 1: I've got you here in the kitchen. I might just
- 33:20Speaker 1: have a quick yarn.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Can you not call me babe? By the way, I
- 33:22Speaker 3: find that really patronizing. I'm not your babe, I'm your wife.
- 33:26Speaker 6: Hey, hello, my wife, just quickly, my waf that's really distracting.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Bogie.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Listen, do you know the Feller's Batch trip away for
- 33:36Speaker 1: the big show the team bonding?
- 33:37Speaker 6: You know that I brought that up the other day. Yes,
- 33:39Speaker 6: so you know how it was eight hundred dollars?
- 33:41Speaker 4: Yes?
- 33:42Speaker 6: Well, good news. It's not eight hundred dollars anymore.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Well that's great.
- 33:46Speaker 6: Yeah, it's now sixteen hundred.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Right, okay, And is that coming out of your phone account?
- 33:51Speaker 6: Well, I don't have enough money in my fun account,
- 33:53Speaker 6: so I was hoping you can come out of our savings.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Well, Chris, if you don't have enough money in your
- 33:56Speaker 3: phone account, you can't go to the patch. It's really
- 33:58Speaker 3: that simple.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Sorry, it's a batch on a patch. But I feel like, see,
- 34:02Speaker 1: I've been shut down, mogie. What can I do here
- 34:04Speaker 1: to change it?
- 34:04Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:05Speaker 6: Well I was stepping a few kids with this, all right,
- 34:07Speaker 6: So you're me now, am I?
- 34:08Speaker 4: You?
- 34:10Speaker 6: Darling?
- 34:10Speaker 5: Why is it that you're so against me going around
- 34:12Speaker 5: this trip? Is it that you consider it to be
- 34:15Speaker 5: a lot of money?
- 34:17Speaker 3: I'm sorry, babe. I just I've just had a really
- 34:20Speaker 3: rough day and I shouldn't have taken it out on you.
- 34:24Speaker 5: Listen if you want to no, no, I'll stop you there.
- 34:28Speaker 5: I know this is a lot of money, and to
- 34:29Speaker 5: me it seems like it's a little over the top
- 34:31Speaker 5: as well. So I'm happy to stay home this weekend
- 34:34Speaker 5: and just the fellows go away and have a great
- 34:36Speaker 5: time without me. Oh okay, because I'd rather spend you
- 34:39Speaker 5: watching country calendar.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah, no, Look I've been unreasonable. I want
- 34:46Speaker 3: you to go and hang out with the boys. Af
- 34:47Speaker 3: you want to spend sixteen hundred dollars, that's.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Fine, okay, because you're worth it.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Oh and thank you for acknowledging the fact that I
- 34:54Speaker 3: wasn't in a good mood. I really appreciate it.
- 34:57Speaker 6: I want to make out in that as it.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Portman's on your fing yes, Portman's yeah, stick it in my.

- 35:12Speaker 5: did you know we were having Portmans tonight?

- 36:18Speaker 5: our promotion of what's going on here and across the
- 36:20Speaker 5: whole month, and have been referred to actually have the
- 36:24Speaker 5: rectal exam the full thing.
- 36:25Speaker 6: Key's yeah, yeah, so jolly good.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that is bloody great news. If you've got any doubts,
- 36:32Speaker 3: if you've got any questions, just go and get it done,

- 36:39Speaker 3: Hey, now, listen, we've got a very special guest coming up.
- 36:43Speaker 3: He's a bit of a mystery guest. He is absolutely
- 36:47Speaker 3: storming the stand up comedy world. He's setting a light,
- 36:53Speaker 3: getting rave reviews wherever he goes. Magie.
- 36:56Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right, it's it's a bit of a treat really,
- 36:59Speaker 5: you know, I haven't seen anything like what. We've been
- 37:00Speaker 5: involved with comedy for many, many years now, decades, hoody
- 37:03Speaker 5: ja and never has a star booned so brightly and
- 37:07Speaker 5: so quickly. And it's truly an honor here to have
- 37:11Speaker 5: to read us out some jokes that he's written himself. Oh,
- 37:14Speaker 5: Keezy Key, one of the greatest stand up comedy in
- 37:20Speaker 5: New Zealand has ever produced.
- 37:22Speaker 6: Can I that's what it fears on your website anyway? Yeah, Yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 6: that's right my website.
- 37:26Speaker 3: It's really interesting for those of you that don't know
- 37:30Speaker 3: Keysy started doing stand up comedy and he's been waxing
- 37:35Speaker 3: lyrical about the fact. He's like, I don't know what
- 37:37Speaker 3: everyone's going on about. It's a piece of pest man.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Yeah it is. Everyone freaks out about stand up comedy.
- 37:43Speaker 3: I'm just nailing it every time I go out there.
- 37:46Speaker 6: Yeah, it's something I said. That was last week. I
- 37:50Speaker 6: said that, Yeah, just off there to be honest, man,
- 37:52Speaker 6: You sure I should do this.
- 37:53Speaker 1: We've got actual comedians here, We've got Paul Douglas is here,
- 37:56Speaker 1: Big Sandy's here, Greg Prebble's here.
- 37:58Speaker 6: You know, like we've got people here that could phug.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Son of course a pugsn Yeah yeah.
- 38:03Speaker 6: Why don't we get them up to read these jokes?
- 38:04Speaker 6: Why should I do it?
- 38:05Speaker 3: Well?
- 38:06Speaker 5: Because you're part of the Big show mate, and we
- 38:07Speaker 5: want to support you and your pursuit of comedy. Oh,
- 38:11Speaker 5: Els is a great opportunity here for you. You won't
- 38:12Speaker 5: get a friendly crowd here today. They'll be very, very forgiving.
- 38:17Speaker 5: So let's try these these jokes out you've written.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Now, can I just because I haven't read these yet,
- 38:22Speaker 1: but I've got a feeling, can I just remind everyone
- 38:25Speaker 1: these jokes have been centered by the listeners on three
- 38:27Speaker 1: four eight three.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Now you ran a few past us initially and a
- 38:30Speaker 5: bit racist, little racist. So we've tried to call as
- 38:34Speaker 5: many of those as we can.
- 38:35Speaker 6: Hey, man, if you can't handle the heat, get out
- 38:37Speaker 6: of Keyesy's kitchen. Right. First joke, See it's my penis.
- 38:45Speaker 3: You see Gome downstairs straight away. It's not good.
- 38:48Speaker 6: I didn't write these. And it's pronounced button mushroom.
- 38:51Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't have a penis. It's a button mushroom.
- 38:53Speaker 6: Come on, that's right, guys. How could I forget my button?
- 38:55Speaker 6: Mushroom was in the Guinness bill, a Guinness Book of
- 38:58Speaker 6: World records in the library, and asked me to take
- 39:01Speaker 6: it out. You happy with that?
- 39:06Speaker 1: That's probably the best response I've ever had on stage. Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: here's my second joke that I definitely wrote myself. What
- 39:12Speaker 1: does a man with a twelve inch penis have for breakfast?
- 39:16Speaker 6: I had porridge?
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I just had scrambled eggs.
- 39:23Speaker 6: Yeah, the punchline as well. This morning I had a
- 39:24Speaker 6: boiled egg. So well done. Yeah, I don't know. It
- 39:28Speaker 6: was a joke. Sorry, Yeah, it was just a quick
- 39:30Speaker 6: I was just interviewing you Mogy briefly.
- 39:32Speaker 7: There.
- 39:33Speaker 6: H third joke. I went and saw my doctor the
- 39:36Speaker 6: other day.
- 39:36Speaker 1: He told me I must stop, he must I must
- 39:39Speaker 1: stop having a go at myself. I asked why, and
- 39:43Speaker 1: he said, because I'm trying to examine you.
- 39:46Speaker 6: Classic. I didn't write these. This is not classic. This
- 39:51Speaker 6: is a story from your life.
- 39:53Speaker 3: At yourself.
- 39:54Speaker 6: Yeah, it's good to tell true stories. What else you
- 39:57Speaker 6: got there? No, I think we just wrap it up there.
- 40:00Speaker 3: The game keep it going more and more.
- 40:01Speaker 6: We do what punk sunt doesn't wrap it up. You
- 40:03Speaker 6: know what I mean? Fellas are all right? One more?
- 40:06Speaker 1: In my last relationship, I hated being treated like a
- 40:09Speaker 1: piece of meat. She was a vegan and refused to
- 40:13Speaker 1: touch me.
- 40:16Speaker 6: So good, Hey, just another reminded of text lou to
- 40:19Speaker 6: three seven seven nine. Yeah, all right, let's nip this
- 40:22Speaker 6: segment in the butt.
- 40:23Speaker 3: I know you did great, great gags. Now we get
- 40:25Speaker 3: back to some jeans, fellas, what are we going to here?
- 40:28Speaker 6: Jays oasis, I didn't write those jokes.
- 40:34Speaker 2: The whole Archy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 40:38Speaker 2: and Kesey.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Yes indeed, Stone Temple pilots here on the radio Honarchy
- 40:45Speaker 3: Big Show this Wednesday afternoon Noon Alive from the Empire
- 40:51Speaker 3: Tavern and the Orkan CBD. So if you're in the area,
- 40:54Speaker 3: come on.
- 40:55Speaker 6: Come on down and say Gooday, that's right.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It's day in lude to our second year raising funds
- 40:59Speaker 1: and for boal cancer New Zealand.
- 41:01Speaker 6: June is Bow Cancer Awareness month. If you'd like to donate.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Three dollars instantly, text the word lou l right now
- 41:08Speaker 1: to three seven seven nine hour statistic Mogi that I
- 41:12Speaker 1: heard Die talking about was that's Die Hendwood, of course,
- 41:16Speaker 1: was that if everyone over the age of thirty went
- 41:18Speaker 1: and had a colonoscopy done, they would be able to
- 41:21Speaker 1: eradicate pretty much ninety nine percent of bow cancer in
- 41:25Speaker 1: New Zealand.
- 41:25Speaker 6: I've never had a colonoscopy, Jason, never has you have?
- 41:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm surprised. Well, actually, it doesn't surprise me that
- 41:32Speaker 5: Jase hasn't had it done. I think you're old school, Jay,
- 41:35Speaker 5: so I think you're you're in the camp where you know,
- 41:41Speaker 5: it's sort of like if I don't get checked out,
- 41:43Speaker 5: I can't get the bad news there for nothing's wrong
- 41:44Speaker 5: with me.
- 41:45Speaker 6: Would that be accurate.
- 41:46Speaker 3: I think that's pretty accurate.
- 41:47Speaker 5: Maybe I'm of the feeling that if there's something wrong
- 41:49Speaker 5: with me, I want to go to a doctor and
- 41:50Speaker 5: find out so that hopefully I'll get medicine and be
- 41:53Speaker 5: made better.
- 41:53Speaker 6: That's sure, there's two ways of looking at it.
- 41:57Speaker 5: But I had a mate who in his mid thy
- 42:00Speaker 5: he's got bowel cancer and very it was about thirty
- 42:04Speaker 5: five and it very nearly proved fatal for him.
- 42:08Speaker 6: They caught it in the nerk of time.
- 42:11Speaker 5: But certainly that those sort of symptoms that we've talked
- 42:14Speaker 5: about here, the change in still blood in the still
- 42:17Speaker 5: losing weight, being tied, all these sorts of things that
- 42:20Speaker 5: sort of applied to him. So since then and sort
- 42:23Speaker 5: of as a result of knowing somebody who it's happened to,
- 42:26Speaker 5: I think it makes it a bit more real for you.
- 42:28Speaker 5: So I have gone and had colonoscopy. Is I've got
- 42:31Speaker 5: no problem having the pross that exam. Whether that's you know,
- 42:34Speaker 5: digitally or with blood test blood test, I'll take either
- 42:38Speaker 5: or both at the same time.
- 42:39Speaker 6: It's good.
- 42:40Speaker 5: But the colonoscopy is not that bad. And I don't
- 42:43Speaker 5: know why it gets such a bad rap. You do
- 42:46Speaker 5: have to take drugs which clear the bowel out, then
- 42:49Speaker 5: testine's out, an evacuation, an evacuation.
- 42:52Speaker 6: But that is it's not that bad. I mean, it's
- 42:55Speaker 6: it is what it is.
- 42:56Speaker 5: It's sort of the worst sort of diarrhea that you'll
- 42:58Speaker 5: have in your life, but only goes through couple of hours, sure,
- 43:01Speaker 5: and then you go to sweep and you wake up,
- 43:03Speaker 5: and then you go.
- 43:04Speaker 6: And have the thing done. And then when you go
- 43:06Speaker 6: and have the thing done, that is fine as well.
- 43:08Speaker 5: You just go, they feed you up on drugs, you
- 43:11Speaker 5: lie on your side, and the fetal position so fecal position. Yeah,
- 43:17Speaker 5: like that, the fetal position, and then you can watch
- 43:19Speaker 5: the whole procedure on a big sort of television, So
- 43:22Speaker 5: it's like being hungover. It's exactly the same thing as
- 43:25Speaker 5: being hungover, except they then put a camera up your
- 43:27Speaker 5: bank side, which doesn't happen when you hungover as often.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:31Speaker 6: Yeah, that's quite a rare occurrence. How did you feel
- 43:34Speaker 6: watching a camera on like a large sixty five inch
- 43:37Speaker 6: four K TV. Well, they're giving you opioids.
- 43:39Speaker 5: You know, you're seeing the internal operations of what's going on,
- 43:43Speaker 5: and you call on So it's not recognizable to you,
- 43:46Speaker 5: do you know what I mean?
- 43:48Speaker 6: God, Yeah, yeah, it seems like an alien.
- 43:50Speaker 5: That's a very weird thing, and not least of all
- 43:52Speaker 5: because you're absolutely off your head.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Yeah. I was going to say, if you're on fentanyl,
- 43:55Speaker 3: if you're on opioids and the camera's going up there,
- 43:58Speaker 3: you go, oh, look at that. That looks like wow,
- 44:03Speaker 3: that's just what is that?
- 44:05Speaker 6: Yeah, you're sort of struggling to keep your eyes open.
- 44:08Speaker 5: But I would say to anybody out there that's worried
- 44:10Speaker 5: about having it done, it is the most simpler procedures.
- 44:14Speaker 6: It was over in about two or three minutes. And
- 44:18Speaker 6: I can't recommend it highly enough.
- 44:20Speaker 5: And it's something that I'll be going to do super
- 44:22Speaker 5: regularly because the last thing that I want is to
- 44:25Speaker 5: find out that I've got something like this when it
- 44:28Speaker 5: is preventable.
- 44:29Speaker 6: Preventable if you just go and get something done.

- 45:43Speaker 3: New Zealand.
- 45:43Speaker 6: That's right. It is a Day in lou number two,
- 45:45Speaker 6: our second year doing this.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Of course, June is bow cancer Awareness month, sofo they

- 45:53Speaker 1: if you would like to contribute, text to the word
- 45:55Speaker 1: lou lo o to three seven seven nine. And we've
- 45:58Speaker 1: actually got a special guest who we do You don't
- 46:01Speaker 1: added three dollars, She did a lot more than that.
- 46:04Speaker 3: One hundred and fifty three dollars actually, keysy oh, that's
- 46:06Speaker 3: all right. Yeah. We've spoken to quite a few Backbones
- 46:09Speaker 3: today in support of bell cancer and our guest, now,
- 46:13Speaker 3: Joanna has done something quite extraordinary, so extraordinary in fact,
- 46:17Speaker 3: that she got on the Guinness Block of Records. I
- 46:19Speaker 3: believe cycled across Australia. What was that Darwin to Adelaide,
- 46:26Speaker 3: LaRue down to Alaide. Yep, so that's about we're talking
- 46:29Speaker 3: about three and a half thousand k's something like that.
- 46:32Speaker 10: I don't want to boast there, but wait and eight hundred.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Yeah, eight hundred I understand, Joanna, you were doing this
- 46:40Speaker 3: all in native a friend of yours who had bow cancer.
- 46:42Speaker 11: Talk to us about it on a serious note. I
- 46:44Speaker 11: was one of the really fortunate examples that had bow
- 46:48Speaker 11: cancer screening and a chnoscopy and live a very healthy life,
- 46:51Speaker 11: but sadly lost a beautiful friend, britt Mel, to bow
- 46:55Speaker 11: cancer just through late diagnosis. So before she passed, we
- 47:00Speaker 11: set out a whole heap of adventures of things I
- 47:02Speaker 11: was going to do because she couldn't. A cycle the
- 47:05Speaker 11: length of New Zealand. First woman to do that, set
- 47:08Speaker 11: the world record, and this year, just a couple of
- 47:11Speaker 11: weeks ago, thought why not just take one from the
- 47:13Speaker 11: Aussies and go over there and show him who boss?
- 47:18Speaker 6: So the official record, Joanna, what is it? What does
- 47:22Speaker 6: it say? The official record?
- 47:23Speaker 11: So the official record is the length of Australia. And
- 47:27Speaker 11: as I said, three eight hundred dollar kilometers. A lot
- 47:30Speaker 11: of people have tried to do it boys, but I
- 47:32Speaker 11: have to say it took a woman to get the
- 47:34Speaker 11: job done.
- 47:35Speaker 6: So now one other thing. I was like, oh, this
- 47:38Speaker 6: must have happened a few years back. And then I
- 47:40Speaker 6: was chanting to Joanna while the news was playing. I
- 47:42Speaker 6: was like, oh, so when did you do this? She said,
- 47:43Speaker 6: I just got back a few weeks ago, right, wow.
- 47:45Speaker 1: And you also understand afterwards had to go to hospital
- 47:48Speaker 1: briefly as a result of the ridiculous physical exertion or yeah.
- 47:52Speaker 11: Look, I don't want to put your boys off your dinner,
- 47:53Speaker 11: so we'll keep it PGA. But there was some necrotized
- 47:57Speaker 11: soft tissue that you will yeah, a little bit of
- 48:03Speaker 11: a saddle saw through to the bone.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Geez, and a bit of.
- 48:13Speaker 6: Can I just ask you exactly how long it talk?
- 48:16Speaker 11: Yes, yes, seriously, And it was eleven days, eleven hours,
- 48:19Speaker 11: fifty four minutes. I slept for about two to three
- 48:22Speaker 11: hours a day. I had a crew of five boys
- 48:25Speaker 11: supported me on the journey.
- 48:28Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 48:28Speaker 11: They saw a lot more but naked naked me than
- 48:32Speaker 11: they wanted to.
- 48:33Speaker 3: But sure, can I ask Joanna obviously what you were
- 48:37Speaker 3: a cyclist before you undertook this or is that something
- 48:39Speaker 3: you just went I'm going to do it.
- 48:41Speaker 11: That's a good question. It wasn't my first idea. I
- 48:43Speaker 11: know I had spent a bit of time on the
- 48:44Speaker 11: bike before, but it was certainly the mist extreme environment
- 48:48Speaker 11: I've ever ever encountered. We have wildfires that went right
- 48:52Speaker 11: across the race, so I was like evil and evil
- 48:55Speaker 11: google it if you're not a gen XA sure riding
- 48:59Speaker 11: through the flame.
- 49:00Speaker 3: And we have a lot of snakes, yes are you?
- 49:03Speaker 10: We managed to sorry about it.
- 49:04Speaker 11: Let's go motor homes, but we did kill two kamper
- 49:07Speaker 11: vans to kangaroo strike. I got a few burns and
- 49:11Speaker 11: a few cingers. But the bikes amazing Chapter two bikes
- 49:15Speaker 11: made in the Bell Cancer New Zealand colors. They came
- 49:17Speaker 11: out of it unscathed.
- 49:18Speaker 6: Say hello, that's amazing it because Jason you like cycling?
- 49:22Speaker 6: Do you reckon? How do you reckon? Jason? Go? Because
- 49:24Speaker 6: he has a penny barthing. He bought it. You do
- 49:26Speaker 6: you know what?
- 49:27Speaker 11: I've got amaze at Bunny's bike shop up in town,
- 49:29Speaker 11: who is building a penny farthing.
- 49:31Speaker 10: I'd love to see you ride there.
- 49:32Speaker 3: Oh look, any the other week. I love a penny farthing,
- 49:35Speaker 3: and can I ask how much you raised.
- 49:37Speaker 5: In the end?
- 49:38Speaker 11: Well, you know, it's all about the team effort.
- 49:40Speaker 9: You know.
- 49:40Speaker 11: He raised over one hundred and ten thousand dollars this
- 49:43Speaker 11: month and I contributed a very small five grand to that,
- 49:46Speaker 11: but it was an absolute honor to be.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Part of the month.
- 49:49Speaker 6: Yeah, well, Joanna, Well, what's the full name, Jace? Just
- 49:52Speaker 6: so we can give a proper shout out people, I
- 49:54Speaker 6: can't remember.

- 49:57Speaker 3: Oh, but I haven't got my glasses on.

- 57:53Speaker 10: I think this person's mucked up the premise. Their answer
- 57:57Speaker 10: is agnostic, but I think it's supposed to say who
- 58:00Speaker 10: doesn't believe in the Easter?

- 59:52Speaker 6: jokes isn't for everyone, noise. It was just a little joke.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: I don't know if you've noticed this, but Old Casey's
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: been doing a bit of stand up comedy and the
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: boy he's getting pretty full of him south. He's he
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: is begging the comedians, what do you want two?
- 1:00:10Speaker 10: Three gigs now?
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Yeah, And he's been like this, this stand up comedy
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: is a piece of past. Yeah. Yeah, so so and
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: he's demanding to be a headline.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: I want a headline as well.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: Yeah, he wants a headline.

- 1:01:16Speaker 3: been a day in lou To thousands of dollars raised,
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: but most importantly awareness raised. People going to see their
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: doctors too good.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: That's right, of course, June is Bow cancer Awareness month.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Throughout the month, the fantastic people at BEW Cancer New
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Zealand have made over one hundred and eleven thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: manased into that, but mostly it's been the great New
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Zealanders from around the country. And just a reminder, if
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you're over the age of thirty, go and get yourself
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: a colon oscarby because if everyone over thirty did that,

- 1:01:55Speaker 6: know and my bunch of friends.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: I've got a lot of gay friends that are concerned
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: about it because they're worried if they go and have
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: a colonoscopy it'll make them straight.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: Oh but that but that's not how it works. No,

- 1:02:11Speaker 6: being like, oh if I go get a colon gay,
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: that makes no sense, no sense at all. Yeahes exactly
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: tell them that I told them. That doesn't make any
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: sense at all. So bloody good New Zealand.
