- 0:04Speaker 1: Michael Bumpus.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Playfake go to roll right, dumps it off into the
- 0:07Speaker 2: right flast to Michael Bumpers, who bounces off of one tackler,
- 0:10Speaker 2: gets inside the forty down of the thirty five yard line.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Powered by Seahawks dot Com. Matt pumpfake's looking at mc
- 0:16Speaker 1: go line. He throws it into the en zone. Touchdown Sahawks.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's Michael Bumpas with a diving catching the end zone on.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Ten yard touchdown reception for Bumpus.
- 0:26Speaker 2: And the kid out of Washington State has found himself
- 0:29Speaker 2: a place on this team.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Now, here's your host, Nasa Jovie.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Welcome into another edition of Hawk Talks. This week the
- 0:37Speaker 3: Seahawks getting ready to take on the Baltimore Ravens on
- 0:40Speaker 3: the road. Good matchup, good team. But before we get
- 0:44Speaker 3: into that, this is gonna be a little weird because
- 0:46Speaker 3: this is gonna be the first Hawk Talk without mister
- 0:48Speaker 3: Michael Bumpus. Yes, Michael Bumpus is okay. He's just resting
- 0:52Speaker 3: his vocal cords. Came down a little stick. He does
- 0:55Speaker 3: so much work for the Seahawks, for Seattle Sports, for
- 0:57Speaker 3: the PAC twelve network coaching high school ball. So he's
- 1:00Speaker 3: doing a lot of work and kind of lost his voice,
- 1:02Speaker 3: so we want him to rest up so we can
- 1:04Speaker 3: make sure you guys hear him on Sunday and this
- 1:06Speaker 3: weekend calling the Koog's game in Pullman. That being said,
- 1:10Speaker 3: you just got me here today, and I'll try to
- 1:11Speaker 3: do my best to kind of pull double duty and
- 1:13Speaker 3: carry the load for Michael Bumpas.
- 1:15Speaker 1: So appreciate you dog.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Hopefully you get back healthy soon and we'll see you
- 1:18Speaker 3: guys or see Michael Bumpis on the airways the rest
- 1:21Speaker 3: of this week. In terms of the Seahawks, there's a
- 1:23Speaker 3: big roster move in Seattle, huge things going down here
- 1:26Speaker 3: at the Vision Mason Athletic Center as the Seahawks moved
- 1:29Speaker 3: into first place in the NFC West. They also make
- 1:31Speaker 3: a huge trade right before the deadline that kind of
- 1:34Speaker 3: strengthened that already talented defense, agreeing to terms and bringing
- 1:38Speaker 3: in New York Giants former Pro Bowl defensive end Leonard Williams.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Now Williams is a six overall pick out of UFC
- 1:45Speaker 3: in his ninth season in the NFL, starting his career
- 1:47Speaker 3: with the Jets in twenty fifteen before being traded to
- 1:50Speaker 3: the Giants during the twenty nineteen season. Williams is twenty
- 1:54Speaker 3: nine years old. Started seven of eight games played this season,
- 1:57Speaker 3: recording twenty one tackles, one and a half sacks in
- 2:00Speaker 3: one pass defended, and five quarterback hits. Williams also earned
- 2:03Speaker 3: Pro Bowl honors in twenty sixteen, when he had seven sacks,
- 2:06Speaker 3: sixty eight tackles, eleven tackles for lost, nineteen quarterback hits,
- 2:10Speaker 3: and over the course of one hundred and thirty two games,
- 2:13Speaker 3: he has thirty nine and a half sacks, fifty nine
- 2:15Speaker 3: TFLs in one hundred and sixty two quarterback hits. So
- 2:19Speaker 3: Leonard Williams is obviously the real deal. A huge move
- 2:21Speaker 3: to help the Seahawks already talented defensive line, pairing him
- 2:25Speaker 3: with Jarran Reid Draymont Jones, and then everything going on
- 2:28Speaker 3: in the edges with bay Mafe, Deryl Taylor, et cetera,
- 2:30Speaker 3: et cetera. So this was a huge move man, and
- 2:33Speaker 3: a really good move by the Seahawks personnel department and
- 2:36Speaker 3: John Schneider and his team bringing him in here and
- 2:39Speaker 3: to really make this defense and kind of send a
- 2:42Speaker 3: message to everybody that they're going for it this year,
- 2:44Speaker 3: and this team has a talent in the roster depth
- 2:48Speaker 3: to really compete and make a run down the stretch.
- 2:50Speaker 3: So huge roster move there. Really excited to see what
- 2:52Speaker 3: he looks like this Sunday. But let's get into this Sunday.
- 2:56Speaker 3: What's on tap?
- 3:00Speaker 1: What's on tap?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Baltimore Ravens six and two, first place in the AFC
- 3:07Speaker 3: North this year. They've really lived up to their expectations
- 3:10Speaker 3: with a big win over Houston the first week. They
- 3:12Speaker 3: beat the Bengals, lost of the Colts in week three,
- 3:15Speaker 3: beat the Cleveland Browns, lost of the Steelers, and had
- 3:18Speaker 3: wins over Tennessee Detroit in Arizona, riding a three game
- 3:21Speaker 3: winning streak, and honestly, they've been really impressive as of late,
- 3:25Speaker 3: a thumping of the Detroit Lions, which really shocked the
- 3:27Speaker 3: entire NFL world. I don't think anyone had that on
- 3:30Speaker 3: their Bengo card that they were going to beat Detroit,
- 3:32Speaker 3: who's one of the best teams in the NFL and
- 3:34Speaker 3: definitely in the NFC, beating them thirty eight to six
- 3:37Speaker 3: and really not being competitive, honestly, so they crushed them
- 3:41Speaker 3: there and then last week they took down the Arizona
- 3:43Speaker 3: Cardinals thirty one to twenty four. But really, if you
- 3:46Speaker 3: look beyond the final score, that game was not that close, man.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I mean, the Cardinals came out of the gate twelve
- 3:53Speaker 3: play seventy five yard drive ending with the Joshua Dobs
- 3:55Speaker 3: touchdown run, and then from that point, man, it was
- 3:58Speaker 3: all Ravens. They would score twenty four unanswered points, and
- 4:01Speaker 3: that included touchdowns from Gus Edwards and Mark Andrews. The
- 4:04Speaker 3: Cardinals would score seventeen fourth quarter points, but ten of
- 4:07Speaker 3: those were scored under two minutes when the game was
- 4:09Speaker 3: ready over. Cardinals actually outgained the Ravens three ten to
- 4:13Speaker 3: two sixty eight. But the big difference in that game
- 4:15Speaker 3: was turnovers. Cardinals had two turnovers, the Ravens had none.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Cardinals were also zero two on fourth down. When it
- 4:21Speaker 3: comes to the star quarterback for the Ravens, he was
- 4:23Speaker 3: eighteen of twenty seven Lamar Jackson one hundred and fifty
- 4:26Speaker 3: seven yards and one touchdown. Gus Edwards stole the show
- 4:29Speaker 3: on the ground, rushing for eighty yards on nineteen carries,
- 4:32Speaker 3: including three touchdowns. Mark Andrews, the talented tight end, led
- 4:36Speaker 3: the Ravens with four receptions forty yards and a touchdown.
- 4:39Speaker 3: And on the other side, Joshua Dobbs. Man, he played okay,
- 4:42Speaker 3: going twenty five at thirty seven for two eight and
- 4:44Speaker 3: two touchdowns, but again his bugaboo turnovers. He had those
- 4:49Speaker 3: two interceptions. And man, it's crazy because now the Cardinals
- 4:52Speaker 3: are one and seven on the season, and yesterday Joshua
- 4:56Speaker 3: Dobbs was actually traded to the Minnesota Vikings to help
- 4:58Speaker 3: out with Kirk Cousin in his torn achilles. So a
- 5:02Speaker 3: lot of not great things happening in the desert. But
- 5:04Speaker 3: the Ravens are definitely rolling and they're a really good
- 5:07Speaker 3: football team. When I flip over this head to head matchup,
- 5:11Speaker 3: you know, it's really close on paper. But just looking
- 5:13Speaker 3: at the Ravens man offensively, they rank eleventh in the NFL,
- 5:17Speaker 3: averaging three hundred and fifty yards per game rushing offense.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Man, these guys are good.
- 5:22Speaker 3: It's the second week in a row the Seahawks are
- 5:23Speaker 3: having to deal with a team that runs the rock.
- 5:26Speaker 3: They're averaging one hundred and forty three yards per game
- 5:28Speaker 3: that is third in the NFL. And then when you
- 5:30Speaker 3: look at passing the game or passing the ball nineteenth
- 5:33Speaker 3: in the NFL two hundred and seven yards per game.
- 5:36Speaker 3: In terms of points, they're scoring a decent amount, averaging
- 5:39Speaker 3: twenty five point three That is seventh in the National
- 5:41Speaker 3: Football League. When you compare that to the Seahawks, Seahawks
- 5:45Speaker 3: are kind of middle the pack in terms of rankings.
- 5:47Speaker 3: You know, I think their numbers don't necessarily indicate how
- 5:50Speaker 3: talented they are, how good we know they can be.
- 5:53Speaker 3: They're sixteenth in the NFL when it comes to rankings
- 5:55Speaker 3: in total offense, averaging three hundred and thirty four yards
- 5:58Speaker 3: per game. When it comes to running the rock, they're
- 6:00Speaker 3: nineteenth averaging one hundred and seven yards per game. And
- 6:03Speaker 3: throwing the ball they're fifteenth in the league averaging two
- 6:05Speaker 3: hundred and twenty seven yards per game, and they are
- 6:08Speaker 3: eleventh when it comes to scoring that thing twenty four
- 6:10Speaker 3: points per game. Now, when you flip to the defense,
- 6:14Speaker 3: the Seahawks, as we know, of playing really good defense
- 6:17Speaker 3: over the last month. Their numbers kind of took a
- 6:19Speaker 3: hit a little bit last week as the Browns were
- 6:21Speaker 3: able to rack up some yardage in that game, but
- 6:23Speaker 3: they're still playing pretty well. They're overall sixteenth in total
- 6:26Speaker 3: defense giving up three hundred and thirty yards per game,
- 6:29Speaker 3: eighth in rush defense only allowing ninety six yards per game,
- 6:33Speaker 3: and they're twenty second against a pass in eleventh in
- 6:35Speaker 3: terms of points allowed at nineteen point seven. Now you
- 6:38Speaker 3: look at this Ravens team, they're the real deal in defense.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Second week in a row, the Seahawks are playing playing
- 6:44Speaker 3: a team that runs the ball and defense everything well.
- 6:47Speaker 3: They are the number two defense in the NFL, only
- 6:50Speaker 3: allowing two hundred and seventy six yards per game. Run
- 6:54Speaker 3: defense are allowing ninety nine yards per game. That rings twelfth,
- 6:57Speaker 3: and then against the pass, they are third in the
- 6:59Speaker 3: NFL giving up one hundred and seventy six yards per game,
- 7:03Speaker 3: and they are number one in the league when it
- 7:05Speaker 3: comes to points allowed, allowing just fifteen point one points
- 7:09Speaker 3: a game. So look at the matchers is head to head. Obviously,
- 7:12Speaker 3: you know the Ravens have a slight advantage on the
- 7:14Speaker 3: defensive side and it's remotely close on offense.
- 7:18Speaker 1: This is gonna be a good game.
- 7:19Speaker 3: These are two really good football teams that are playing
- 7:22Speaker 3: well at this time of the year, and it's a
- 7:23Speaker 3: huge matchup. Luckily, you know it's a non divisional matchup,
- 7:27Speaker 3: So depending on the result, they won't hurt the Seahawks
- 7:29Speaker 3: too bad. But this is gonna be a fun game,
- 7:31Speaker 3: and this game, to me, can really show where the
- 7:34Speaker 3: Seahawks are at. It's almost a measuring stick, measuring stick
- 7:37Speaker 3: type of game. Atmosphere on the road, playing at ten am,
- 7:41Speaker 3: which hasn't been an issue for this team really since
- 7:43Speaker 3: Pete's gotten here, you know, especially the last five or
- 7:47Speaker 3: six years. But this is a game that can really
- 7:49Speaker 3: build confidence for this team and really put the NFL
- 7:52Speaker 3: on notice that the Seahawks are for real. You know,
- 7:55Speaker 3: us in Seattle, we already know that we've seen it,
- 7:57Speaker 3: but I think it'll put the rest of the league
- 7:59Speaker 3: on notice that these guys are as good as or
- 8:01Speaker 3: could be as good as we think they are taking
- 8:03Speaker 3: on this Ravens team. So that should be a fun
- 8:05Speaker 3: matchup to look at. But while we're talking about the Ravens,
- 8:08Speaker 3: they don't play the Seahawks very often.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So let's know the history.
- 8:12Speaker 3: No, your history all time series is tied at three
- 8:16Speaker 3: to three. Yeah, these teams have only played six times
- 8:19Speaker 3: in their histories. The Seahawks in their last meeting lost
- 8:22Speaker 3: a tough one in the rain at Lumenfield back in
- 8:24Speaker 3: twenty nineteen.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It was a wet and sloppy day.
- 8:27Speaker 3: If you guys remember, Seahawks got a real glimpse almost
- 8:31Speaker 3: in how good Lamar Jackson could be. He didn't go
- 8:34Speaker 3: crazy with his arm. He was just nine of twenty
- 8:36Speaker 3: one hundred and forty three yards and zero touchdowns, but
- 8:39Speaker 3: he killed the Seahawks on the ground one hundred and
- 8:41Speaker 3: sixteen yards on fourteen carries in one touchdown, and that
- 8:45Speaker 3: came on a fourth down, kind of infamous NFL films.
- 8:48Speaker 3: He was miked up. He comes to the sideline, he's
- 8:50Speaker 3: thrown his hands up. He was really annoyed that they
- 8:52Speaker 3: didn't get the first down. And John Harborugh is getting
- 8:54Speaker 3: ready to send on the field goal kicking squad, and
- 8:56Speaker 3: he looks at him and he wanted to run the ball.
- 8:58Speaker 1: They wanted to go for it. They end up going forward.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Get a touchdown, and the Seahawks that day really struggled
- 9:04Speaker 3: to get anything going offensively. They had two turnovers, both
- 9:07Speaker 3: of them are unfortunately ran back for touchdowns, including a
- 9:09Speaker 3: pick six from Russell Wilson. De k Metcalf also at
- 9:13Speaker 3: a fumbo that was ran back for six Russell finished
- 9:16Speaker 3: that day twenty of forty one for two forty one,
- 9:19Speaker 3: one touchdown, one pick. Chris Carson had sixty five yards
- 9:23Speaker 3: on twenty one carries, and Tyler Lockett led all receivers
- 9:27Speaker 3: five receptions sixty one yards in one touchdown. And I
- 9:29Speaker 3: heard kJ Wright talking about this on his show that
- 9:32Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson is the fastest person he's ever played.
- 9:35Speaker 1: On a football field.
- 9:37Speaker 3: And when you hear that from a guy like kJ Wright,
- 9:40Speaker 3: who's been doing this thing for a long time, played
- 9:42Speaker 3: over ten years in the league, played at Mississippi State,
- 9:44Speaker 3: that's saying something, right. So the Seahawks, as everyone knows,
- 9:48Speaker 3: is going to have their work cutout for them with
- 9:50Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson because he is that dude, he is that talented.
- 9:53Speaker 3: And hopefully what happened in twenty nineteen does not repeat itself.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But let's flip it back to the NFC West check
- 10:00Speaker 1: on what's going on there. What's the word.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Now, the Seahawks or the NFC West champs.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Again, what's the word in the west On Hawk Talk? Well,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I'll tell you what the word is. The Seahawks are
- 10:18Speaker 1: in first place.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yes, they are first place in the NFC West of
- 10:21Speaker 3: the five and two record, jumping ahead of those San
- 10:24Speaker 3: Francisco forty nine ers who are five and three, Lost
- 10:27Speaker 3: Angeles Rams three and five, and the Arizona Cardinals at
- 10:30Speaker 3: one in seven.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Man, that feels good first place. Man.
- 10:34Speaker 3: When this season started, Man, San Francisco was the class
- 10:38Speaker 3: of the NFC. We know how good they are defensively.
- 10:41Speaker 3: We know how many guys they have on offense that
- 10:43Speaker 3: are bawlers. George Kittle, Brandon Ayuke Deebo, Samuel Christian McCaffrey.
- 10:47Speaker 3: The list goes on and on and on. But they're
- 10:50Speaker 3: in some trouble right now. They're in some trouble. They've
- 10:52Speaker 3: lost three weeks in a row, and that just goes
- 10:57Speaker 3: to show there's a reason why they strap it up.
- 10:59Speaker 3: There's a reason why they play the games, and it's
- 11:01Speaker 3: because you got to do it on the field. And
- 11:02Speaker 3: right now the forty nine ers are struggling, and thereby
- 11:05Speaker 3: we could not have come at a better time, especially
- 11:07Speaker 3: after this last game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Bengals came
- 11:11Speaker 3: in there, and I think what we learned from that
- 11:13Speaker 3: game is that Joe Burrow is healthy, and when he's healthy,
- 11:16Speaker 3: those guys are dangerous. Okay, I think we learned that
- 11:19Speaker 3: their struggles early on were really tied to Joe Burrow's calf,
- 11:24Speaker 3: because since then the Seahawks got to see that, you know,
- 11:27Speaker 3: he's the legit and they're the real deal. So in
- 11:29Speaker 3: this game, after three now by the forty nine Ers,
- 11:32Speaker 3: Joe Burrow took the Bengals on a great drive ten
- 11:34Speaker 3: plays eighty five yards, ending with a seven yard touchdown
- 11:37Speaker 3: to Tyler Boyd. Forty nine Ers respawned with a good
- 11:40Speaker 3: driver of their own that spanned eight plays seventy five yards,
- 11:42Speaker 3: ending with a record setting touchdown by Christian McCaffrey, which
- 11:46Speaker 3: is a crazy side note that gave him at least
- 11:48Speaker 3: one touchdown in seventeen straight games, including the playoffs, that
- 11:53Speaker 3: tied the NFL record set by Lennymore back in nineteen
- 11:56Speaker 3: sixty three. So Christian McCaffrey is that dude. But on
- 12:01Speaker 3: the Bengals' next possession, they would take advantage of great
- 12:03Speaker 3: field position. Joe Burrow threw his second touchdown of the
- 12:05Speaker 3: day to tight end Anthony Lo Sibas, making the score
- 12:08Speaker 3: fourteen to seven. Niners would add a field goal and
- 12:11Speaker 3: they would make the score fourteen to ten at the half.
- 12:14Speaker 3: In the second half, though, Brock Purty started to struggle.
- 12:17Speaker 3: We've seen this last couple weeks with him. He had
- 12:19Speaker 3: two interceptions and a loss fumble, while on the other side,
- 12:22Speaker 3: Joe Burrow led the Bengals on two fourth quarter touchdown drives.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And this game was in Santa Claire, Man, so that
- 12:29Speaker 3: kind of shows you, you know how good these Bengals
- 12:31Speaker 3: can be. Man. They won by a final score of
- 12:33Speaker 3: thirty one to seventeen. Party finished the day twenty two
- 12:36Speaker 3: to thirty one, three hundred and sixty five yards in
- 12:38Speaker 3: a touchdown. Good looking stats there, but like I just mentioned,
- 12:42Speaker 3: he was sacked twice, responsible for three turnovers and he
- 12:45Speaker 3: now has six turnovers, yes, six turnovers in the last
- 12:50Speaker 3: three games. And with Brock he's been he's just been
- 12:53Speaker 3: so good to start his career. I think everyone's been
- 12:55Speaker 3: waiting for that shoe to drop, and I'm not saying
- 12:58Speaker 3: it's dropping right now. It will be something to pay
- 13:01Speaker 3: attention to, though, because he hasn't gone through this type
- 13:04Speaker 3: of adversity yet in his career, at least in the NFL.
- 13:08Speaker 3: So it'll be interesting to see how after the bye week,
- 13:10Speaker 3: how they bounce back, because right now they're struggling, you
- 13:13Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, So it'll be it'll be interesting
- 13:16Speaker 3: to see how they bounce back. But right now I'm
- 13:17Speaker 3: loving at the Hawks for the first place.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I can't lie.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I do get some joy when the forty nine ERSI lose,
- 13:23Speaker 3: given their relationship with the Seahawks.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But what other.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Crazy thing that I'm just looking at my seat here
- 13:30Speaker 3: is the Bengals successfully completed a four game sweep of
- 13:33Speaker 3: the NFC West. That's wild to me. That is wild
- 13:37Speaker 3: to me. It's hard to do, especially in this division.
- 13:40Speaker 3: But the Bengals, they're probably well on their way. But
- 13:44Speaker 3: there was more news coming out of San Francisco this week,
- 13:46Speaker 3: or Santa Clair or whatever you want to say. John
- 13:50Speaker 3: Lynch and Kyle Shanahan weren't just chilling during the bye week, Okay.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Somehow they pulled off this huge trade, acquiring Chase Young
- 13:56Speaker 3: from the Commanders for a third round pick in the
- 13:58Speaker 3: twenty twenty fourth Draft. Young would be a free agent
- 14:01Speaker 3: at the end of the season, so maybe if you're
- 14:03Speaker 3: the Commanders, you're not sure if you could resign them.
- 14:05Speaker 3: That's why they do this deal. Young missed the opener
- 14:08Speaker 3: this year with a neck injury, but has five sacks
- 14:10Speaker 3: in seven games. Also created sixteen in completions, which is
- 14:15Speaker 3: tied for fourth in the NFL this season. Overall, in
- 14:17Speaker 3: thirty four games in four seasons with Washington, Young had
- 14:20Speaker 3: fourteen sacks, ninety tackles in six forced fumbles. So while
- 14:25Speaker 3: the Niners are struggling, they definitely made their team a
- 14:28Speaker 3: whole lot better by bringing in Chase Young.
- 14:31Speaker 1: So foopping it down. In La, the Rams.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Took on the Cowboys and for them, Oo Boy, that
- 14:37Speaker 3: was a beatdown from the ward jump. Cowboys dominated from
- 14:41Speaker 3: the opening kickoff, jumped out to a thirty three to
- 14:43Speaker 3: three lead. Rams scored a couple of touchdowns later to
- 14:47Speaker 3: try to make it a game. They end up losing
- 14:48Speaker 3: that ballgame forty three to twenty. Dallas didn't punt until
- 14:52Speaker 3: eight minutes left in the fourth quarter and it make
- 14:55Speaker 3: matters worse for the Rams. Stafford was replaced by Brett
- 14:57Speaker 3: Rippen late in the third quarter after injuring his on
- 15:00Speaker 3: a couple of different occasions. Coach Ian McVay didn't know
- 15:03Speaker 3: they extended injury at the time, so we'll see there.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And for Dallas Dak Proscott Man.
- 15:07Speaker 3: He went off twenty five at thirty one, three h four,
- 15:10Speaker 3: four touchdowns, just the one interception, and they somehow contained Cooper,
- 15:15Speaker 3: Cup and Puka and Nakua and they combined for just
- 15:18Speaker 3: seven receptions.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Sixty four yards and no touchdowns.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Safe to say a lot has changed since that week
- 15:23Speaker 3: one win in Seattle for the Rams. Be very interesting
- 15:27Speaker 3: to see what the Rams look like when the Seahawks
- 15:29Speaker 3: go down there and try to get some revenge.
- 15:31Speaker 1: In LA later this month.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Now, let's get back to those Baltimore Ravens. Dive into
- 15:37Speaker 3: these matchups and how the Seahawks run to get this
- 15:39Speaker 3: victory done, and what we're gonna focus on.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Man ups, man up on Hawk Talk.
- 15:53Speaker 3: There's one place, in one place only to start with
- 15:56Speaker 3: the Baltimore Ravens, and that's the lot Lamar Jackson. Lamar
- 15:59Speaker 3: Jackson is that dude. But for a while there, it
- 16:02Speaker 3: didn't seem like he was going to stay in Baltimore.
- 16:05Speaker 3: It really seemed like the writing was on the wall.
- 16:06Speaker 3: They had a lot of turmoil when it came to
- 16:08Speaker 3: that contract, but after twenty seven months of negotiations, both
- 16:12Speaker 3: sides reached a deal this offseason. That deal was for
- 16:14Speaker 3: five years, two hundred and sixty million with one hundred
- 16:18Speaker 3: and eighty five guaranteed. His fifty two million a year
- 16:21Speaker 3: made him the highest quarterback, highest paid quarterback in the league.
- 16:24Speaker 3: That's since been passed by Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert.
- 16:27Speaker 3: But he got that paycheck, he got the Brinks truck
- 16:30Speaker 3: backed up, and rightfully so, because Lamar Jackson is that dude.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Since he's arrived in Baltimore, he's really changed that franchise.
- 16:38Speaker 3: The Ravens had missed the playoffs three straight years prior
- 16:41Speaker 3: to Lamar's arrival. Since then, Lamar has a fifty one
- 16:44Speaker 3: and eighteen record in regular season games started and led
- 16:48Speaker 3: the Ravens to the playoffs in four of the last
- 16:50Speaker 3: five seasons. That is the fourth best winning percentage seven
- 16:55Speaker 3: thirty nine of all time of all time among quarterbacks
- 16:58Speaker 3: with a minimum sixty starts. So all he does is win.
- 17:02Speaker 3: All he does is win, and he had one of
- 17:04Speaker 3: the best seasons you know quarterback can have back in
- 17:06Speaker 3: twenty nineteen, he became the second unanimous election as the MVP.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Thirty six touchdown passes also set the record for most
- 17:13Speaker 3: rushing yards by a quarterback twelve hundred and six. Now
- 17:17Speaker 3: the last two years, Lamar has been pretty banged up
- 17:20Speaker 3: in the games he's played in. He's thirty three touchdowns
- 17:22Speaker 3: and is turning the ball over a lot more with
- 17:24Speaker 3: twenty interceptions. He's missed a total of eleven games, including
- 17:28Speaker 3: their playoff loss to the Bengals last season. However, twenty
- 17:31Speaker 3: twenty three, Lamar has been durable, playing every game and
- 17:34Speaker 3: put up some pretty good numbers throwing the ball. He
- 17:37Speaker 3: is one sixty for two twenty seven one seven hundred
- 17:41Speaker 3: and sixty seven yards with a seventy point five completion
- 17:44Speaker 3: percentage that is third best in the NFL. He's got
- 17:47Speaker 3: nine touchdowns and three interceptions. On the ground seven four
- 17:50Speaker 3: carries three hundred and eight yards in five touchdowns. So
- 17:55Speaker 3: I mean it's obvious on the market or two of
- 17:56Speaker 3: his legs. That's that's pretty clear. This is gonna be
- 17:59Speaker 3: one of the toughest tests for the Seahawks this season.
- 18:02Speaker 3: You know, a lot of the narrative around Lamar has
- 18:04Speaker 3: been can he beat you from the pocket? His seventy
- 18:08Speaker 3: percent completion percentage might show that maybe he can.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And I think he's a complete quarterback.
- 18:13Speaker 3: I think all the nonsense early in his career about
- 18:15Speaker 3: he needs to move to running back or play receiver whatever.
- 18:18Speaker 3: That just nonsense. Lamar Jackson is a very good quarterback.
- 18:22Speaker 3: But it'll be interesting to watch to see what the
- 18:24Speaker 3: Seahawks game plan is and if they do try to
- 18:26Speaker 3: keep him in the pocket, and how they're gonna do that,
- 18:28Speaker 3: How are they going to slow him down. The one
- 18:31Speaker 3: thing that should give you confidence at Seahawks fan is
- 18:33Speaker 3: how well the Seahawks defense has been playing. They were
- 18:36Speaker 3: a little less dominant against the Browns, gave up three
- 18:38Speaker 3: hundred and eighty five yards. That was the first time
- 18:40Speaker 3: they allowed more than two fifties since Week three against Carolina,
- 18:44Speaker 3: So that dropped the Seahawks down in the rankings a
- 18:45Speaker 3: little bit. They felt the sixteenth in total defense, allowing
- 18:48Speaker 3: three thirty one per game. But on the positive side,
- 18:50Speaker 3: the Seahawks have only allowed nine second half points in
- 18:54Speaker 3: the last four games nine. It's pretty remarkable, man, And
- 18:58Speaker 3: those nine points just three field goals, so it's obvious.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I think it's safe to say it's pretty well known.
- 19:03Speaker 3: This is the best the Seahawks defense has looked in years,
- 19:06Speaker 3: and I love every part of it. But they're gonna
- 19:09Speaker 3: have their hands full of Lamar Jackson who is just
- 19:11Speaker 3: a beast. So it'll be interesting to watch because he's
- 19:14Speaker 3: a guy that if you let him go crazy, he will.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I think if you can contain his legs, be disciplined
- 19:19Speaker 3: in the pass rush lanes, be disciplined who has forced
- 19:22Speaker 3: and everyone doing their job, I think they can slow
- 19:24Speaker 3: that man down. Now, looking at our quarterback Gino Smith
- 19:27Speaker 3: taking on the Ravens defense, Gino had an interesting game
- 19:30Speaker 3: against the Browns. Man He started the game with three
- 19:34Speaker 3: straight scoring drives and on those drives he was eight
- 19:36Speaker 3: of twelve for one hundred and thirty six yards in
- 19:38Speaker 3: a touchdown. Now in the middle of the game, things
- 19:41Speaker 3: got a little rocky. Next seven drives, Gino was eleven
- 19:43Speaker 3: of twenty sixty six yards and two interceptions, and the
- 19:46Speaker 3: Hawks did not score on any one of those.
- 19:49Speaker 1: But this is the key here.
- 19:52Speaker 3: But when the game was on the line and you
- 19:56Speaker 3: had to have it, Gino came through in the clutch
- 19:58Speaker 3: four or five fifty two yards and the game winning
- 20:00Speaker 3: touchdown pass to Jackson Smith in jigbub. He finished that
- 20:04Speaker 3: game twenty three or thirty seven, two hundred and fifty
- 20:06Speaker 3: four yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Gino now has
- 20:11Speaker 3: twelve game winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime
- 20:14Speaker 3: in just fifty eight starts, and that go ahead touch
- 20:18Speaker 3: on to Jackson Smith and jigboll Wes his third final
- 20:21Speaker 3: minute of regulation or ot come from behind win with
- 20:24Speaker 3: the Seahawks. That is the most of any player since
- 20:26Speaker 3: twenty twenty two, surpassing Tom Brady and Matt Ryan. So
- 20:30Speaker 3: the last two years Gino has show him that he
- 20:31Speaker 3: can step up in the clutch and get it done
- 20:33Speaker 3: when the game's on the line. So props to Gino there.
- 20:36Speaker 3: He's done some really good things this year. The turnovers
- 20:39Speaker 3: are kind of what stands out. He's got six interceptions
- 20:42Speaker 3: this year. He only had three at this point last year,
- 20:45Speaker 3: so that's the only thing that really needs to get
- 20:46Speaker 3: cleaned up. We've seen a lot of good things for
- 20:47Speaker 3: Gino Smith, and it's an offense as a collective. He
- 20:51Speaker 3: we know what he can do. Like I said, when
- 20:53Speaker 3: it's winning time, Gino Smith comes to play. So hopefully
- 20:56Speaker 3: we can get that same kind of performance going into
- 20:58Speaker 3: a tough environment taking on a rate Ravens defense.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I talked about it earlier.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Second in total defense, third against the pass, twelve against
- 21:05Speaker 3: the run, one in points allowed and one in sacks.
- 21:09Speaker 3: So it's not gonna get any easier for Gino. He's
- 21:12Speaker 3: faced some really good defenses this year, back to back weeks.
- 21:15Speaker 3: You go Browns and Ravens. That's about as hard as
- 21:18Speaker 3: as it gets for anybody. But I'm looking for Gina.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I'll have a good bounce back game, and I'm calling
- 21:23Speaker 3: it now. We can play this back later. Gino will
- 21:26Speaker 3: have zero turnovers on Sunday. Hot take zero turners on Sunday.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I see you, Gino got faith in anybody? Another matchup Born
- 21:36Speaker 3: and take a look at was Zay Flowers and Mark
- 21:37Speaker 3: Andrews taking on the Seahawk secondary. At least from the
- 21:41Speaker 3: outside looking in. One of the biggest issues around Baltimore
- 21:44Speaker 3: has been the receiving core. There's been so many questions
- 21:46Speaker 3: about whether or not Lamar has enough weapons, whether or
- 21:50Speaker 3: not the front office has done enough to get him
- 21:53Speaker 3: weapons that he can throw the ball to.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Well, they took that.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Head on this offseason by drafting Zay Flowers in the
- 21:59Speaker 3: first round. Flowers, I could go on and on about
- 22:02Speaker 3: what he did at Boston College, probably the best receiver
- 22:04Speaker 3: ever come out of there. First receiver taken from Boston
- 22:06Speaker 3: College since nineteen eighty seven and the first skill position
- 22:10Speaker 3: player taken in the first round from BC since two
- 22:12Speaker 3: thousand and eight. I mean, he was All ACC, All
- 22:15Speaker 3: American semi finalists for the blittnikof Award, three time All ACC,
- 22:19Speaker 3: twenty third overall pick, and he's making a name for
- 22:22Speaker 3: himself in this league.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Man.
- 22:24Speaker 3: He leads the Ravens in receptions in yards, he in
- 22:29Speaker 3: targets as well, forty four receptions, four hundred and sixty
- 22:31Speaker 3: one yards and one touchdown on the season. So he's
- 22:34Speaker 3: doing his thing and he's got a lot of wiggle
- 22:36Speaker 3: to him. She had a lot of shift. He's the
- 22:37Speaker 3: guy that you He's tough to get down in the
- 22:41Speaker 3: open field for sure. So you're gonna have to from
- 22:43Speaker 3: defensive defensive back, Standpoint Witherspoon, Trey Brown, Riek Wolling, all
- 22:49Speaker 3: those guys, you're definitely gonna need to. You can't arm
- 22:52Speaker 3: tackle this guy. You're gonna have to really form tackle,
- 22:54Speaker 3: get your chest on him because he is that good.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Another guy, and probably the most underrated player for the
- 22:59Speaker 3: Ravens is tight end Mark Andrews. He's been the leading
- 23:03Speaker 3: receiver for the Ravens in three of the past four seasons.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Three time Pro Bowler, he was a first team All
- 23:09Speaker 3: Pro in twenty twenty one. That year one hundred and
- 23:11Speaker 3: seven receptions thirteen hundred yards, nine touchdowns. Throughout his career,
- 23:16Speaker 3: he's averaged twelve point eight yards per catch, and he's
- 23:19Speaker 3: leading all tight ends with six receiving touchdowns in twenty
- 23:23Speaker 3: twenty three. So far this year, thirty two receptions, three
- 23:26Speaker 3: hundred ninety seven yards in six touchdowns.
- 23:29Speaker 1: For the Seahawks. Defensively, they're twenty second against the pass.
- 23:32Speaker 3: But we know that they're as sending Riek Wool and
- 23:36Speaker 3: Julian Love get their first interceptions last week. Devin Witherspoon
- 23:39Speaker 3: is fifth in the NFL and passes defended. We've seen
- 23:42Speaker 3: Trey Brown make a ton of plays in the secondary,
- 23:45Speaker 3: so I know I'll put my money on our guys,
- 23:47Speaker 3: the Seahawks. But Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews are some
- 23:51Speaker 3: dudes that need to be reckoned with their guys that
- 23:53Speaker 3: you're going to know where they're lined up on every play.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Another matchup. Looking at our receivers now taking on that
- 24:00Speaker 3: raven secondary. So lock itt DK JSN BOBO and another
- 24:05Speaker 3: thing I said this last week. It's shocking to me
- 24:07Speaker 3: that the Seahawks only have one one hundred yard game
- 24:09Speaker 3: this season from the receiving corps. There's been a couple
- 24:11Speaker 3: other games that were close, but just DK Metcalf against Carolina. Now,
- 24:17Speaker 3: from a secondary's perspective, the Ravens have only allowed two
- 24:21Speaker 3: hundred yard receiving games against them. That was a moss
- 24:23Speaker 3: Amon Ross Saint Brown. He had thirteen receptions for one
- 24:26Speaker 3: hundred two yards against them, and then George Pickens from
- 24:28Speaker 3: the Steelers had six for one point thirty in a toad. Now,
- 24:34Speaker 3: the Seahawks receivers maybe aren't putting up the video game
- 24:36Speaker 3: numbers right now, but they're all making plays when they
- 24:38Speaker 3: need to. That was very evident on the Seahawks game
- 24:41Speaker 3: winning drive against Cleveland. That's JSN, that's Lockett, that's Metcalf
- 24:46Speaker 3: catching the ball or making a game changing block that
- 24:49Speaker 3: sprung JSN for that touchdown. Now, it didn't seem like
- 24:53Speaker 3: DK and Geno we're kind of on the same page
- 24:54Speaker 3: last week. Five receptions on fourteen targets. You got taken
- 24:58Speaker 3: into consideration. DK Metcalf severely under the weather last week,
- 25:02Speaker 3: and sometimes you're just not gonna be in the sinking
- 25:04Speaker 3: scerring game. Some things happen, the ball gets thrown away,
- 25:08Speaker 3: there's weird shadows last game. I expect them to get
- 25:10Speaker 3: back on track this week. Dk in the Year's got
- 25:12Speaker 3: twenty seven receptions, four hundred four yards and two touchdowns.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Tyler Lockett's got thirty five receptions, three seventy and three touchdowns.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Lockett need just one more one hundred yard game to
- 25:22Speaker 3: tyree Gerald Jackson for second place for the most one
- 25:25Speaker 3: hundred yard games and franchise history with nineteen. JSN is
- 25:29Speaker 3: starting to catch fire Man back to back games with
- 25:31Speaker 3: a touchdown, including a game winner. He's got twenty three catches,
- 25:34Speaker 3: two hundred nine yards two touchdowns on the season. And
- 25:36Speaker 3: Jake Bobo more, Bobo, you asked, that's what you're gonna get.
- 25:40Speaker 3: He's got ten receptions, one thirty five two touchdowns, including
- 25:43Speaker 3: the one rushing touchdown he got last week. So he's
- 25:46Speaker 3: doing enough where he's blocking, now he's running the ball.
- 25:50Speaker 3: He's making deep balls or catches down the sideline. So
- 25:54Speaker 3: I like what I'm seeing from Bobo. I like what
- 25:56Speaker 3: I'm seeing from this receiving core, and I think they're
- 25:58Speaker 3: due for a big game. Now it's gonna be hard
- 26:01Speaker 3: this week because they're playing a very talented secondary with
- 26:06Speaker 3: the Ravens. Yet Marlon Humphrey, who made his return back
- 26:10Speaker 3: to the lineup after having foot surgery in Week five.
- 26:12Speaker 3: But he's a three time Pro Bowl or first team
- 26:14Speaker 3: All Pro. We know he can play. Brandon Stevens at corner.
- 26:17Speaker 3: He's had a pretty good year forty five tackles, a passes, defendant,
- 26:20Speaker 3: two picks. Now, Geno Stone, Gino Stone kind of came
- 26:24Speaker 3: out of nowhere. I feel like filling in for Marcus
- 26:25Speaker 3: Williams at safety, but he's got three three tackles, five interceptions,
- 26:29Speaker 3: five passes defended. His five interceptions lead the National Football League.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Then you got Kyle Hamilton at free safety. He's playing well.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Three sacks, one fourth fumble, one nine team, three passes defended.
- 26:41Speaker 3: He's got the second most sacks among defensive back since
- 26:45Speaker 3: the start of twenty twenty two. And Marcus Williams one
- 26:49Speaker 3: of their guys who's been they got from New Orleans
- 26:51Speaker 3: who's played really well, except he's just been snake bitting,
- 26:55Speaker 3: if you will, by the injury bug man. He's been
- 26:57Speaker 3: twelve games in two seasons with them. This year, missed
- 27:00Speaker 3: four games in five years with New Orleans. He returned
- 27:03Speaker 3: to practice this week, so we'll see if he can play.
- 27:05Speaker 3: But regardless, he's back there. Those guys are talented, so
- 27:08Speaker 3: the Seahawks are gonna need to be Chris or need
- 27:09Speaker 3: to be on the routes everything they do there. So
- 27:12Speaker 3: that'll be fun matchup to watch because we know the
- 27:15Speaker 3: Seahawks receivers are on the cusp of a breakout game,
- 27:19Speaker 3: but they're going against a really good secondary. Now, the
- 27:22Speaker 3: last matchup on a look at is the running game
- 27:24Speaker 3: for the Baltimore Ravens, and that's Gus Edwards taking on
- 27:27Speaker 3: the Seahawks front seven.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Now.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Gus Edwards in a sixth season after going out undrafted
- 27:32Speaker 3: at Rutgers. He's been super consistent throughout his career, averaging
- 27:35Speaker 3: five yards to carry. He's currently leading the team in rushing,
- 27:39Speaker 3: but his quarterback right behind him. This year, so far,
- 27:43Speaker 3: Gus has got one hundred five carries four hundred and
- 27:45Speaker 3: twenty six yards in five touchdowns, receiving the ball six
- 27:49Speaker 3: receptions one hundred and seven yards, and like I mentioned earlier,
- 27:52Speaker 3: the Ravens do have the league's third best rushing attack
- 27:56Speaker 3: averaging one hundred and forty three yards per game on
- 27:58Speaker 3: the ground. Now, the Seahawks, one of their strength defensively
- 28:02Speaker 3: has been stoping the run. They're eighth in the NFL,
- 28:05Speaker 3: allowing just ninety six starts per game. They're third in
- 28:08Speaker 3: the league when it comes to yards per carry three
- 28:10Speaker 3: point five to seven. No one player has ran for
- 28:13Speaker 3: more than sixty seven yards against Seahawks. But the Seahawks
- 28:16Speaker 3: are gonna be tested again. Now you've got Lamar and
- 28:19Speaker 3: Gus Edwards, And I think for me, the big point
- 28:22Speaker 3: about quarterbacks like Lamar beyond the scrambling ability that just
- 28:26Speaker 3: cripples you. On like a third and twelve or third
- 28:28Speaker 3: and thirteen, where everyone in the secondary has their guys
- 28:31Speaker 3: covered up, everyone does a great job, and then he
- 28:33Speaker 3: runs out picks up the first sound with his legs.
- 28:37Speaker 3: That hurts. That's crippling. That just kills a defense and
- 28:40Speaker 3: makes you want to pull out your hair. But what
- 28:43Speaker 3: scares me about Lamar is his ability when it comes
- 28:48Speaker 3: to the design runs that they have for him in
- 28:50Speaker 3: that offense. Defensively, in the run game, it's eleven on ten,
- 28:57Speaker 3: you know, ninety percent of the time because you're not
- 29:00Speaker 3: scheming for the quarterback. When you play a team like Baltimore, yeah,
- 29:06Speaker 3: you damn right. Your scheming for the quarterback, that makes
- 29:08Speaker 3: it eleven on eleven in the run game. So from
- 29:11Speaker 3: a number standpoint, that just changes things. So they're scary good.
- 29:16Speaker 3: They know what they have in Baltimore. Baltimore now has
- 29:18Speaker 3: a new offensive coordinator, as Greg Roman has been after
- 29:22Speaker 3: Calm Place for six years is no longer there. But
- 29:26Speaker 3: it's gonna be interesting, Man's It's gonna be hard. But
- 29:30Speaker 3: I think the Seahawks have the guys to do it
- 29:32Speaker 3: because you're so versatile in the secondary, whether it's a
- 29:35Speaker 3: spy where samal Adams creeping, whether it's Witherspoon when he's
- 29:39Speaker 3: in the slot, whether it's Bobby Wagner, whether it's Jordan
- 29:41Speaker 3: Brooks who is playing out of his mind right now.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I think the Seahawks defense up for the challenge. But
- 29:49Speaker 3: when you pair Edwards with Lamar Jackson together, it's a
- 29:53Speaker 3: tough task for anybody. But given what the Seahawks have
- 29:56Speaker 3: done this year and shown what they can do consistently
- 29:58Speaker 3: week after week after week, I have faith and get
- 30:02Speaker 3: this done. I have so much faith. I'll recap and
- 30:05Speaker 3: let you know how the Seahawks can get this victory.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Path the victory after forty five waits for the snaff,
- 30:14Speaker 2: Michael Vixon puts it down. That kick is away and
- 30:17Speaker 2: that kick is gone.
- 30:19Speaker 1: To say off when it's gone, it's a path to victory.
- 30:23Speaker 3: On Hawk Talk, I've been saying, man enemy number one
- 30:28Speaker 3: this week is Lamar Jackson, dual threat quarterback. He'll go
- 30:32Speaker 3: nuts in the stat sheet if you let him. The
- 30:35Speaker 3: Seahawks need to be incredibly disciplined in their rush lanes
- 30:40Speaker 3: and need to be sound in the run fits. La
- 30:43Speaker 3: Mar's gonna make his plays now like you're not shutting
- 30:47Speaker 3: him down completely, and if you do, kudos to you
- 30:51Speaker 3: because you're your defense is balling. So he'll get his
- 30:54Speaker 3: place here and there. But he just can't go off.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Can't go off on third downs, can't go off in
- 30:59Speaker 3: the run game, can't go off in the scrambled game.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Really have to have show discipline in your rush lanes,
- 31:05Speaker 3: doing your job, making sure you're accounting for the quarterback
- 31:07Speaker 3: at all times, and then continue stopping the run. That's
- 31:12Speaker 3: what you've done this year, which you're still in all seasons.
- 31:14Speaker 3: So continue to be consistent. Gus Edwards, good running back.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Can't have a huge day and then you got locked
- 31:20Speaker 3: down his top targets. That's Mark Andrews, that's Rocky Z Flowers.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I'm really looking for those matchups when Witherspoon or Rik
- 31:29Speaker 3: Woollen or Trey Brown is gonna be matched up with
- 31:31Speaker 3: Za Flowers, just to see, you know, good on good,
- 31:34Speaker 3: especially the first round Picks and Flowers and Witherspoon taking
- 31:38Speaker 3: that matchup on. But keep those guys in front of you.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Those are you know, Lamar's security blankets. Those are the
- 31:43Speaker 3: guys that make plays through the air. So keep those
- 31:45Speaker 3: guys in front. Offensively, just take care of the football.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Take care of the football. Cannot have the big turnovers
- 31:52Speaker 3: we've seen in the last three weeks. The Ravens are
- 31:55Speaker 3: way too talented and this is a team that if
- 31:57Speaker 3: you turn the ball over like that, it's probably gonna
- 31:59Speaker 3: come back to bite you.
- 32:01Speaker 1: And then offensively, let's get that run game going. Man.
- 32:04Speaker 3: We saw a lot of glimpse of what you know
- 32:07Speaker 3: this red game is. We've seen it throughout the season.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Charbonney had his best game last year or last year.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Last week, ken Walker had that long ramp of the sideline.
- 32:15Speaker 3: This offensive line is gelling. They're playing well, they're deep,
- 32:18Speaker 3: they're physical. Let's get the run game going. I think
- 32:20Speaker 3: with a steady dose of Scharbonay and Walker, some really
- 32:24Speaker 3: good things can happen for the Seahawks team. And then
- 32:28Speaker 3: Geno and DK they're gonna get back on the same page.
- 32:30Speaker 3: You watch another hot take. DK metcalf is gonna have
- 32:33Speaker 3: a huge game this week, a huge game this week.
- 32:36Speaker 3: He works incredibly hard. I think people have a bad
- 32:40Speaker 3: perception about DK. He's gonna ball up this week. Get
- 32:45Speaker 3: that connection back on the same page. They have a
- 32:47Speaker 3: standard and they're gonna hite it this week. So you
- 32:49Speaker 3: know you're back on the road road Warriors. The Seahawks
- 32:53Speaker 3: have been so good on the road with these ten
- 32:54Speaker 3: am starts. It's gonna be a dogfight though, and this
- 32:58Speaker 3: is a huge game. You want to stend that lead
- 33:00Speaker 3: to a full game on San Francisco. Continue to stack wins.
- 33:04Speaker 3: That's been my theme this entire season. Stack wins before
- 33:07Speaker 3: that rough stretch where you're forty nine ers Cowboys, forty
- 33:10Speaker 3: nine ers Eagles, and then you have the Rams before that.
- 33:13Speaker 3: So this will be a fun matchup, man, This will
- 33:15Speaker 3: be a fun matchup. Michael Buppas. Missy DOGG need you
- 33:18Speaker 3: out here next time, because i just carried that whole
- 33:20Speaker 3: episode and I'm tired, so I'm gonna step away. This
- 33:24Speaker 3: has been Hawk Talk. Reminder you can catch us anywhere
