- 0:17Speaker 1: To see you too, bro.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Yes sure. First of all, I'm want to give you
- 0:20Speaker 2: some credits, some flowers, because I do feel like, you know, uh,
- 0:24Speaker 2: being Mexican and hip hop has not always been the
- 0:26Speaker 2: gift that it is in twenty twenty four, right, And
- 0:30Speaker 2: I feel like you're kind of like one of the OG's,
- 0:32Speaker 2: especially you know, out of at like doing what you're doing,
- 0:34Speaker 2: like out of the Texas, you know scene, just out
- 0:37Speaker 2: of the South in general, Like we've always had your
- 0:39Speaker 2: Connor rapping shit on on the West coast. But you know,
- 0:41Speaker 2: I kind of feel like you were like the first
- 0:43Speaker 2: real fly Mexican to really pop, like you know what
- 0:45Speaker 2: I mean.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It definitely wasn't easy whenever, like around the town, whenever
- 0:49Speaker 1: I came.
- 0:49Speaker 2: In, Because how long have you like been because like
- 0:52Speaker 2: when did you end up linking with uh?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Yeah, like like late twenty eighteen or early twenty nineteen.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Got it? Because even back then, like you know, like
- 1:04Speaker 2: now we think about like I feel like your Mexican
- 1:07Speaker 2: is great, right, you know what I mean? Like all
- 1:10Speaker 2: the labels are trying to sign Mexican rappers. Bro.
- 1:12Speaker 1: They yes, they love Texas Mexican rappers for sure.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Shout out to uh D Baby, who's okay?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah they thought that shit.
- 1:24Speaker 2: It's crazy man, they I.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Guess they made a mistake. It was somebody else.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Oh so his car didn't get shot up?
- 1:29Speaker 1: Nah?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Oh thank god, thank god for really crazy man. How
- 1:33Speaker 2: wild is it? Because like I always tell people, like
- 1:35Speaker 2: we live in l A, right, so like out here,
- 1:38Speaker 2: it's super easy to get robbed because it's hard to
- 1:41Speaker 2: protect yourself. They make it really hard for you to
- 1:43Speaker 2: like own a gun here. So like where I'm from,
- 1:46Speaker 2: in Phoenix, it's open carry, so it ain't a lot
- 1:50Speaker 2: of people getting robbed because a lot of people people
- 1:52Speaker 2: will get the fucking heads blown off because you never
- 1:54Speaker 2: know who's got a gun. But in Texas it's kind
- 1:56Speaker 2: of similar, Like it's like super fucking you know, everybody
- 1:59Speaker 2: strapped up legally obviously, But like does it like do
- 2:04Speaker 2: you think it takes away from like the violence or
- 2:07Speaker 2: like the random violence because out here we got so
- 2:09Speaker 2: much random ship to be happening hearing about another.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Places because it's crazy. I had went to the I
- 2:18Speaker 1: had went to the uh it was it's a YouTube channel.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's like a news YouTube channel for Houston. And one day,
- 2:27Speaker 1: like I was, I went to the videos and I
- 2:29Speaker 1: was seeing like they were dropping a video like two
- 2:31Speaker 1: three times a day, like murder videos like this this
- 2:34Speaker 1: person got murdered, this this, uh, this man killed his wife.
- 2:38Speaker 1: This to two people killed on the South Side, Like.
- 2:43Speaker 2: So, nah, it's just yeah, I mean, I mean, obviously,
- 2:46Speaker 2: Takeoff lots his life out there, man rp uh and uh,
- 2:50Speaker 2: you know, one of the greatest rappers legit facts for sure,
- 2:55Speaker 2: the greatest migo lyrically and.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It was so humble, Oh my god.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And he was like just the influence so many people
- 3:03Speaker 2: rapping like Takeoff now, yeah, it's just crazy man shout
- 3:06Speaker 2: out to take Off one of the goats for sure.
- 3:08Speaker 2: So before you had linked up with with Sauce, what
- 3:11Speaker 2: was like your come up as an artist, Like how
- 3:14Speaker 2: long have you actually been kind of like, you know,
- 3:16Speaker 2: putting out music, taking the shit serious.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I used to write whenever, like I was in like
- 3:24Speaker 1: juvenile prison, you get me. I used to like write
- 3:28Speaker 1: music and just write rhymes and stuff, and I'll really
- 3:32Speaker 1: just write them. Like whenever I get out, I'm gon
- 3:34Speaker 1: show my brother, you know what I'm saying. But whenever
- 3:38Speaker 1: I ain't get I ain't go to the first My
- 3:40Speaker 1: first studio sessionn Soil, I was like seventeen. My pop said,
- 3:44Speaker 1: put me onto a studio and I made my first song.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But I ain't start taking a serious until probably like
- 3:52Speaker 1: twenty seventeen. I was trying to take music series, but
- 3:57Speaker 1: I was fighting the case and I was on the
- 4:00Speaker 1: run for like a year and a half. Jesus yeah,
- 4:04Speaker 1: And I made Sauce on the run. When I was
- 4:06Speaker 1: on the run, I massauce.
- 4:07Speaker 2: And what was the case you were fighting?
- 4:10Speaker 1: It was the police had kicked my door down and
- 4:14Speaker 1: just found a couple of pounds a week. You know
- 4:16Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Ain't that crazy?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Man?
- 4:17Speaker 2: We be in La first of all. It's so like
- 4:21Speaker 2: if you live here and you travel, you'd be forgetting that,
- 4:26Speaker 2: like it ain't La, right, So like we'll fly to
- 4:29Speaker 2: like all kinds of places, and I always pack Hello
- 4:31Speaker 2: fucking drugs and shit, And this fucker right here is
- 4:34Speaker 2: paranoid as fuck, super fucking paranoid, and I'm like, bro,
- 4:37Speaker 2: it's all good.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And then we like Land and.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I'm like, damn, we are in the South. But like
- 4:45Speaker 2: even like the pack culture out here, Like, bro, there's
- 4:47Speaker 2: so many motherfuckers running around with fucking garbage bags of
- 4:49Speaker 2: fucking dope right now in LA and like most cops
- 4:52Speaker 2: won't give a fuck unless it's like astronomically, like if
- 4:55Speaker 2: you got pulled over with two pounds in LA, like,
- 4:57Speaker 2: you're probably just right.
- 5:00Speaker 1: They don't be a trip about the weed. In Houston.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm pretty sure the criminalized in Houston, right, Yeah,
- 5:05Speaker 1: but two pounds you don't go to jail for so
- 5:07Speaker 1: But in Houston, yeah, but it's gonna be a slap
- 5:09Speaker 1: on the rast. But like outside of outside like but
- 5:13Speaker 1: like where I lived though, like like like like on
- 5:15Speaker 1: the outskirts, Yeah, you're gonna be out of there. But
- 5:18Speaker 1: where I'm from, though, you you can go to prison
- 5:21Speaker 1: for two pounds.
- 5:23Speaker 2: What part of Texas you're from.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm from Galaton County, Texas City.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's it's wild man, Texas gotta get their
- 5:30Speaker 2: ship straight over there with the weed man.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But I ended up I ended up only my lawyer
- 5:36Speaker 1: was a horrible lawyer. And she ended up telling me like,
- 5:39Speaker 1: if you don't tell yourself and I'm gonna get off
- 5:40Speaker 1: your case.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's a bad lawyer.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I was a lawyer. I paid like only four.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Thousand for Hey, it's like a tattoo artist. Yeah, you
- 5:50Speaker 2: pay for what you get, buddy, right, So certain things
- 5:54Speaker 2: you don't skim on lawyers and tattoo artists and Dennis.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so she I ended up. But I saw something.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I was on the run, and I told him like, hey, bro,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna get up with you, like for really. He
- 6:06Speaker 1: was like, man, let me know. I was like, just
- 6:08Speaker 1: gotta you know what I'm saying, take care of my
- 6:09Speaker 1: business first, you feel me?
- 6:11Speaker 2: Right?
- 6:11Speaker 1: So I was just taking up my money while I
- 6:12Speaker 1: was on the run, and then I ended up turning
- 6:14Speaker 1: myself in giving my granny half the money to take
- 6:17Speaker 1: care of my kids to make sure they're straight. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: then I only did end up doing like ten months
- 6:22Speaker 1: in the county. You know what I'm saying. It was
- 6:24Speaker 1: better than what I thought it was gonna be. And
- 6:26Speaker 1: then after that when I got out, that's whenever it
- 6:30Speaker 1: was like a great area for me because I wanted
- 6:35Speaker 1: to take a rap serious, but I only had like
- 6:37Speaker 1: a couple hundred dollars to my name, so I just
- 6:41Speaker 1: I had to like go.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You like flipped it into one hundred k or something crazy.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, And then that's whenever I linked back up
- 6:47Speaker 1: with Sauce and I had got a feature from And then.
- 6:51Speaker 2: How does one turn two hundred dollars into one hundred
- 6:53Speaker 2: thousand dollars asking for a friend.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you just gotta know what you're doing, man. Yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you just gotta put one, one and two together, you know,
- 7:01Speaker 1: I mean.
- 7:02Speaker 2: You gotta sell the outs as the ends.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta put it together.
- 7:08Speaker 2: You gotta get those nice light depths that pass for
- 7:11Speaker 2: indoors in Texas. Okay, you come, you come here, you
- 7:13Speaker 2: meet with some Asians, they give you a thuffel bag
- 7:16Speaker 2: and take it back to Texas. You tell everybody it's
- 7:18Speaker 2: fucking ends, and they believe you because it's Texas.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, that's one way you could do it allegedly allegedly,
- 7:25Speaker 1: or or Armenians.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Armenians they got good week allegedly of course. So you
- 7:30Speaker 2: ended up kind of getting your getting your paper right, Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Got my paper right? Linked was finally linked was saus
- 7:37Speaker 1: and I told him I was ready, and but I
- 7:40Speaker 1: was just gonna just get a verse room. I never
- 7:42Speaker 1: liked telling him like give me a hand up, let
- 7:44Speaker 1: me sign me. I just wanted to get I never
- 7:48Speaker 1: was telling him I wanted to be TSF. You feel me,
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'll just got a RaSE room. And he just ended
- 7:53Speaker 1: up telling everybody around him that he wanted to sign me.
- 7:58Speaker 1: And I was TSF And is that and the third
- 8:01Speaker 1: man then ship? I mean I was I was fucking
- 8:04Speaker 1: with it, you know what I'm saying. I definitely like
- 8:06Speaker 1: I was happy to be to jump on board. And
- 8:09Speaker 1: then the rest is history.
- 8:10Speaker 2: That man, when you were locked up as a kid,
- 8:13Speaker 2: what were you in juvenile prison for?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Man? Uh? Well, that that last case for us for
- 8:20Speaker 1: bullshy case Berkeley burglar abitation. But I was on probation.
- 8:26Speaker 2: It was just like breaking into a house or something.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I was on probation for robbery. And I had
- 8:33Speaker 1: been in and out of jail for a lot of
- 8:35Speaker 1: breaking in the breaking inners. I used to break in
- 8:38Speaker 1: the cars. I used to steal cars. I had some
- 8:41Speaker 1: dope cases. My juvenile raption. She was pretty long, you
- 8:45Speaker 1: feel me? Because I've been going to jail since I
- 8:47Speaker 1: was ten years old.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Some old school fucking that's what they do in San Francisco. Now,
- 8:51Speaker 2: all they do is fucking crack windows and take it
- 8:53Speaker 2: out so you don't go to jail in San Francisco.
- 8:57Speaker 2: They just fucking I heard about that.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I heard you can still up to like thousand others.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You could crack a fucking window of a car and
- 9:03Speaker 2: get caught red handed, and they're just gonna write you
- 9:06Speaker 2: a fucking citation. In the Bay. That's why it's if
- 9:10Speaker 2: you go to the Bay, you gotta fucking leave all
- 9:12Speaker 2: your windows, roll down and take everything out the motherfucking car.
- 9:15Speaker 1: That's what you gotta do.
- 9:16Speaker 2: One hundred Like I got homies from the Bay. When
- 9:18Speaker 2: they park, they pop the trunk and leave it open
- 9:22Speaker 2: and they roll all the windows down there because otherwise
- 9:25Speaker 2: the headache of even if you don't have anything in
- 9:28Speaker 2: your car, they're gonna crack your window. Right, So it's
- 9:32Speaker 2: like do I really want to go through like dealing
- 9:33Speaker 2: with going to the window guy. Ye.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Windows don't be cheap either exactly, especially if you got
- 9:38Speaker 1: a high end car.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, my boys got a Tesla and like literally like
- 9:41Speaker 2: well we'll be with him and like when we get
- 9:43Speaker 2: out to go to the club that pops his trunk,
- 9:46Speaker 2: leaves it open, rolls everything down.
- 9:48Speaker 1: What if?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean ship the bay is wild, bro, That
- 9:53Speaker 2: shit crazy. How would you like, like, would you guys
- 9:56Speaker 2: like because you're bringing in the houses like as a kid,
- 10:00Speaker 2: would you like No? Like I was always wondering, man,
- 10:04Speaker 2: because I feel like that that been a fucking stressful,
- 10:06Speaker 2: fucking length to hit.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Bruh, Like you said that.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Just like you fucking cracking a window jump like you
- 10:12Speaker 2: don't know if someone's home is there a dog inside?
- 10:14Speaker 1: Is there? Fucking I had to do some wild. I
- 10:16Speaker 1: ain't gonna lie like it had been times where it
- 10:20Speaker 1: was crazy, bro. So when I was like fourteen, I
- 10:23Speaker 1: got sunk. I got sent to a rehab because I
- 10:25Speaker 1: wouldn't start smoking weed, and it was weird. I was
- 10:29Speaker 1: in there for like I was fused to being there
- 10:31Speaker 1: for like ninety days, but like on my fortieth day,
- 10:34Speaker 1: I just couldn't take it no more, bro, because I
- 10:36Speaker 1: was in there with a whole bunch of people who
- 10:38Speaker 1: were like shooting heron and smoking mef and it was
- 10:42Speaker 1: just and then they'll put us in these circles and
- 10:45Speaker 1: it was just I just couldn't take it no more.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Bro I felt like a jay or something. You feel me?
- 10:50Speaker 1: So I ended up saying I was gonna run, you
- 10:54Speaker 1: feel me? And I was talking to my homework from
- 10:55Speaker 1: San Antonio and he was like, we been thinking about
- 10:57Speaker 1: running too, So he got it up. It's just like
- 11:00Speaker 1: three or four homies from San Antonio because a lot
- 11:03Speaker 1: of people from that was in there was from San Antonio.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And he gathered up like three or four people from
- 11:07Speaker 1: San Antonio and I grather and I got my homework.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I was from the other side of Texas City where
- 11:13Speaker 1: I was from that ship. We ran and we left,
- 11:16Speaker 1: and my homeboy from from my side, he called us
- 11:20Speaker 1: his mama and shit, and she picked us up at
- 11:22Speaker 1: the McDonald's and then we went down there and we
- 11:24Speaker 1: broke into We broke into an abandoned apartment and we
- 11:28Speaker 1: was staying there and then the next day. The next day,
- 11:33Speaker 1: we were like, when you get some lame when he
- 11:34Speaker 1: gets some money. So I was like, man, I know
- 11:37Speaker 1: a neighborhood, you feel me. So we went to this
- 11:39Speaker 1: neighborhood and man, we ended up breaking in one of
- 11:42Speaker 1: the houses, throwing the rock like I'll make sure nobody's
- 11:46Speaker 1: in the crib though.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Throw a rock at the window, not very discrect.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Older like like some big ship. Wonder what you got car, bro,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I ain't get caught doing this, not that time. I
- 11:57Speaker 1: threw throw it in there and ship and went in there.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It's crazy because everybody looking. Everybody like looking around and
- 12:02Speaker 1: s first place I went to with the kitchen on. God,
- 12:05Speaker 1: I was so hungry, you know me.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Yo, that's like the type of ship you hear about
- 12:09Speaker 2: on TV. Like I got caught eating a sandwich.
- 12:12Speaker 1: It was real life. I made me a sandwich. God
- 12:15Speaker 1: made them niggas round all that ship up. And then
- 12:18Speaker 1: whenever we left, we left. It's crazy, brocause like like
- 12:22Speaker 1: like the homes from sant Antonio, Bro, like we cauld
- 12:24Speaker 1: we walking. So we had we having a walk across
- 12:27Speaker 1: like the highway with ship and they got like fucking
- 12:30Speaker 1: ars like in their pants and ship and they're like
- 12:32Speaker 1: walking like this and ship across the street. And uh
- 12:36Speaker 1: when we got to the apartment, I was like everybody
- 12:39Speaker 1: breaking everything down, counting the money like laptiles, phones, you
- 12:44Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You know it the whole night
- 12:46Speaker 1: and I was thinking in my head like if I
- 12:48Speaker 1: don't get away from these dudes. I'm gonna go right
- 12:50Speaker 1: back to jail. You feel me?
- 12:52Speaker 2: Fair assessment. So guys just running across the freeway with ars, I.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I tucked some ship. I let them keep the guns
- 13:00Speaker 1: and they're too big to just wait.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Did you guys take the guns out of the house.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, well they did.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Yeah I did. But I took everything. I took, like
- 13:12Speaker 1: a couple of things that I can you know what
- 13:13Speaker 1: I'm saying, A couple of valuable little electronics, you know
- 13:15Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Put some money in my pocket. And
- 13:18Speaker 1: I was like, hey, man, I'm finna go cross straight
- 13:20Speaker 1: to the college and get on my space. Even me,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I'm a focus your in a little bit. I dished
- 13:25Speaker 1: the niggas. I went across to the college. Still call
- 13:28Speaker 1: my granny. I know you mad at me, but come
- 13:30Speaker 1: pick me up like right now. Was like, oh my god, Maria,
- 13:34Speaker 1: I heard you broke out. Yeah, she came and got me.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Did you drop you back off of jail?
- 13:38Speaker 1: No, she dropped me off in the hood and she
- 13:40Speaker 1: told me I gotta figure it out.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Figure it out.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I ended up going back to juvenile and getting that
- 13:46Speaker 1: shit over with. My space was a wave, but yeah,
- 13:49Speaker 1: that ship. But what I used to do whenever I
- 13:52Speaker 1: was a kid that I used to break in the cars.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Like what I would do is I would wait to
- 13:55Speaker 1: get like real late, and I'll get put up, you
- 14:00Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, and just go break into them.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Just I wouldn't bust windows up. I would just a lot.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You'll be surprised on how many people keep their doing
- 14:08Speaker 1: lock for sure, you feel me. So that's what we
- 14:11Speaker 1: were doing whenever I was a kid.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Ship on Amazon you can get like a one of
- 14:16Speaker 2: those things you.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Just And it's crazy because I used to be good.
- 14:21Speaker 1: But the reason why I used to always get caught
- 14:23Speaker 1: is because I wouldn't know when to stop. I'll be
- 14:26Speaker 1: doing it.
- 14:27Speaker 2: All night, feel like that is every Felon's uh story.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And then whenever. And it's crazy because every time I
- 14:36Speaker 1: got caught, I'll get caught like at like five six
- 14:38Speaker 1: in the morning, and then I'll be in a police station.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Because you're gonna be in a police station for like
- 14:44Speaker 1: three hours before they take you to the juvenile it's
- 14:47Speaker 1: the worst. And I'll be in the police station and
- 14:49Speaker 1: I'll just be hearing the phone ringing, like my car
- 14:51Speaker 1: got broken into. My car got broken into. I'm just
- 14:55Speaker 1: sitting there like while they just slapping all that ship
- 14:57Speaker 1: and on me and ship we got the guy that
- 15:00Speaker 1: was the juvenile days. Br like for all from that,
- 15:03Speaker 1: like doing that and getting punished for that, going to jail.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I ain't never stole again in my life.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Like listen, with all due respect, I think that twenty
- 15:11Speaker 2: twenty four. Back then, I feel like the liquid was
- 15:16Speaker 2: like if you could get like a stereo because you
- 15:20Speaker 2: just be able to yank them stereos out. Oh yeah, car,
- 15:23Speaker 2: the amp speaker boxes just crazy.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I never did that. Ship.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And then back in the day when I was a kid,
- 15:29Speaker 2: you'd be shook if so much because motherfuckers would be
- 15:31Speaker 2: stealing your CD books out the car. So you'd have
- 15:34Speaker 2: like a fucking three hundred fucking page CD book and
- 15:38Speaker 2: be like, I gotta hire this bitch somehow because that
- 15:42Speaker 2: was money. That was like thousands of dollars of CDs.
- 15:44Speaker 2: But man, I had a bunch of stolen CDs electrically too.
- 15:48Speaker 2: But was there like a car that you would like
- 15:52Speaker 2: like the easies, what's the easiest car to break into?
- 15:54Speaker 2: Or were you just like.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Nah, I just I would I never used a tool
- 15:58Speaker 1: I never used.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Nowaday is their fucking.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I would literally just see if the door's unlocked. If
- 16:05Speaker 1: the door's unlocked, I'm going in. If the alarm go off,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm running.
- 16:09Speaker 2: What's the coolest thing you found in the car?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Probably like like guns and ship?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like that's something that people don't even
- 16:17Speaker 2: think about and they leave it in the under their seat.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, there's so many people.
- 16:22Speaker 2: It's like, would you ever like if you I always
- 16:24Speaker 2: wonder like if you were like breaking into a house
- 16:26Speaker 2: and you discovered some crazy, nasty like serial killer ass ship,
- 16:31Speaker 2: would you just leave or would you like leave and
- 16:34Speaker 2: then call the cops and be like, hey, I probably
- 16:38Speaker 2: there's some hostages stuck in this house. I don't don't.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Don't ask me how I know. I may or may
- 16:42Speaker 2: not have just broken in. And is that snitching? I
- 16:45Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know. It's like when Cameron said, uh,
- 16:49Speaker 2: they interviewed Cameron and they're like, so, you mean to
- 16:51Speaker 2: tell me if you live next to a serial killer
- 16:54Speaker 2: and you knew he was a serial killer, you wouldn't snitch?
- 16:57Speaker 2: He was like Nope, Like damn, Cam, I don't know
- 17:01Speaker 2: if that's true, especially if you got kids. I don't know,
- 17:05Speaker 2: you'd move I probably, I don't know, I don't know.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Just have your girl do it here, you make the call,
- 17:11Speaker 2: bab I can't.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I probably get a lot of that.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Has U sauce try to convince you to join him
- 17:20Speaker 2: in his uh not him not joining him, but like
- 17:23Speaker 2: you know, you get the only fans hustle going me. Yeah, no, sir,
- 17:30Speaker 2: because he's making a lot of money on there. I
- 17:31Speaker 2: feel like you could just manage chicks, right. It feels
- 17:35Speaker 2: like a you know, are you in a relationship, Yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 2: well that's probably why. No, but not when you're a
- 17:43Speaker 2: committed fellow. Committed fellows don't manage only fans.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Horse Nah. But it's not even like I just couldn't
- 17:49Speaker 1: see myself like fucking.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I'm not even talking about fucking on camera. I'm about
- 17:54Speaker 2: like just you know, uh dig if you will. Yeah, no,
- 17:57Speaker 2: that's not my lane, not your lane, talk to me
- 18:03Speaker 2: about uh just you know, obviously we were talking earlier
- 18:08Speaker 2: about like the Mexican rapper thing is going. That Mexican
- 18:13Speaker 2: ot is obviously a friend of mine and really amazing man,
- 18:18Speaker 2: and uh, you guys have made some dope songs together.
- 18:21Speaker 2: What's it like to just see, you know, somebody out
- 18:24Speaker 2: of Bay City, Texas, which is not too far from
- 18:26Speaker 2: where you're from. Just like, you know, it was crazy
- 18:29Speaker 2: to see him do the rodeo and ship, like.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's crazy, that's ships type. Bro. Ain't he
- 18:34Speaker 1: a good dude?
- 18:36Speaker 2: How did you guys? Cause did you guys initially have
- 18:38Speaker 2: some sort of beef for something?
- 18:39Speaker 1: We've never had a beef before. People just think that
- 18:42Speaker 1: because in an interview he said he wanted to be
- 18:44Speaker 1: a better rapper than me, Like he just said I'm
- 18:46Speaker 1: a better rapper like on some rapper ship. Everybody said
- 18:49Speaker 1: that we never had a beef before.
- 18:52Speaker 2: How did you guys initially link up?
- 18:56Speaker 1: I did we linkok? Hmm, I don't know how vibes?
- 19:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, ship. We would just call on the internet
- 19:10Speaker 1: and then ship. He I guess he was in Houston
- 19:13Speaker 1: because you know, he stays far from Houston, like an
- 19:15Speaker 1: hour and a half or so, right, and then ship.
- 19:17Speaker 1: He ended up pulling to the studio and we made
- 19:19Speaker 1: chin Gun.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Our songs fire.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yeah, appreciate it.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Do you know I'm a Mexican taller than Drodie. He's
- 19:27Speaker 2: like the Mexican y'all.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Mean, Nah, I don't like like slim size.
- 19:32Speaker 2: That motherfucker's like, yeah, he's like the Mexican slim fuck.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I'm like, bro, and he can't dunk. It's so disappointing.
- 19:39Speaker 2: He's tall for nothing.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Yeah that food.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Just be eating bean and cheese burritos all day and
- 19:44Speaker 2: then dabbing at the gym. Fucking drug addict.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That's my dog.
- 19:52Speaker 2: How hard has it been for you staying sober and
- 19:55Speaker 2: not you know, fucking around?
- 19:57Speaker 1: First, it was hard. It was hard at first because
- 20:01Speaker 1: it's just so boring, you.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying, but feeling everything.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I don't know, it's just it just gets boring. But
- 20:11Speaker 1: it's easy now, just because like you're used to it.
- 20:14Speaker 1: At first, it was at first it was it was
- 20:16Speaker 1: like ah, but it was like it made me do
- 20:18Speaker 1: it because I didn't want to go back to jail.
- 20:20Speaker 1: You feel me like whenever you get a taste of jail,
- 20:22Speaker 1: it's like when you get a taste, it like it's
- 20:24Speaker 1: like when people like I don't want to say that, but.
- 20:29Speaker 2: When people get a taste of jail, they're like, oh
- 20:30Speaker 2: this ship is this shit sucks?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Yeah? I want to I was to say, like if
- 20:35Speaker 1: somebody got a taste of dying like that should have
- 20:37Speaker 1: probably fucked with them, like.
- 20:38Speaker 2: If you almost soded or you did od and you survived,
- 20:41Speaker 2: or just.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Like if you got shot in like you've seen the light,
- 20:43Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. But they brought you back
- 20:45Speaker 1: to life, and so you're like.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Damn, I gotta change my ship up.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Fucking I can't go back to that space, you know
- 20:50Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So it's like I ain't trying to go.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I was in the fence for like ten days.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I went to jail for like thirty two hours a
- 20:58Speaker 2: few years ago, and I was like, fuck, wow, I
- 21:04Speaker 2: can't do I'm like, bro, this is terrible. And I
- 21:07Speaker 2: was in the fucking like I was in like a
- 21:09Speaker 2: holding cell. Well initially, Arizona, you go to like the Shoe,
- 21:15Speaker 2: which I went to a different time, but you're like
- 21:18Speaker 2: in a room with like just a bunch of homeless
- 21:21Speaker 2: fucking fools bombs. Motherfucker's taking a ship and you're just
- 21:27Speaker 2: like on the floor. Motherfuckers was using the toilet paper
- 21:30Speaker 2: for fucking pillows and shit. And then the last time
- 21:34Speaker 2: I went to jail, he was as some shit bros.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Arizona was when jor Pyo was fucking running.
- 21:39Speaker 1: It's like, who's it.
- 21:40Speaker 2: He's this sheriff named jord Pile from Arizona. He's like, uh,
- 21:44Speaker 2: what is he known for being a racist piece of shit?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Damn?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Yeah. So he had passed this law in Phoenix where
- 21:52Speaker 2: it was SB ten seventy. It was like maybe like
- 21:55Speaker 2: ten years ago. If you were Mexican, he could pull
- 21:58Speaker 2: you over and if you didn't have your papers, he'd
- 22:00Speaker 2: rest you on the spot, even if you were legal,
- 22:02Speaker 2: and then you'd have to prove that you were legal
- 22:04Speaker 2: when you're in jail.
- 22:05Speaker 1: What Oh.
- 22:07Speaker 2: And then there was tense City. Yeah, there's a jail
- 22:08Speaker 2: in Phoenix. It's got closed Yeah, pink underwear, so you
- 22:13Speaker 2: made all all of the inmates had to wear pink
- 22:16Speaker 2: because he wanted to damasculine, damasculize them. And then there
- 22:21Speaker 2: the jail was tense city. So it's outside and you're
- 22:24Speaker 2: just intense, so there's no like. And the goal of
- 22:28Speaker 2: that was it was in Arizona gets to be like
- 22:30Speaker 2: one twenty in the summer, it's like the desert, right,
- 22:33Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty degrees and you're fucking outside living
- 22:36Speaker 2: because Joe Opile is a.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Psychopath, And did he get kicked out or did he.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Just dude, he was the sheriff for like what twenty
- 22:43Speaker 2: five years? Thirty years? Oh my god, he lost finally
- 22:47Speaker 2: he finally lost. But dude's fucking sick, assful for sure.
- 22:52Speaker 1: So how many years does it take to until you
- 22:55Speaker 1: until somebody else runs again?
- 22:57Speaker 2: I think four?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Damn They let that nigga win ten times? Yeah, ten times,
- 23:02Speaker 1: crazy like terrible.
- 23:04Speaker 2: He's terrible, man, but not The jails and Phoenix have
- 23:07Speaker 2: gotten a lot more humane, for sure, but nothing like
- 23:10Speaker 2: being stuck in the fucking cell, the holding cell that
- 23:13Speaker 2: was my mother. But that was bro. I got bailed
- 23:16Speaker 2: out as soon as they were like getting getting me
- 23:19Speaker 2: like dressed out to like take me to the actual jail, right,
- 23:24Speaker 2: I was like, Oh thank god, just being alone, fucking
- 23:28Speaker 2: no pillow, no blanket, just fucking a slab of concrete.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Hey, I was watching your in I'll be watching interviews
- 23:34Speaker 1: and real interview with the do Lefty.
- 23:36Speaker 2: That's just so funny, Bro, that's a lefty man.
- 23:42Speaker 1: That's just funny. As whenever y'all whenever, like whenever y'all
- 23:48Speaker 1: talking about ot and like and like you were trying
- 23:51Speaker 1: to say so he cuts you all. You're like, damn, bro, Like, let.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Me talk, bro. You can't talk of that guy. He
- 23:57Speaker 2: was not a sick one when he came though, for sure,
- 24:00Speaker 2: came in here with like a what do you have
- 24:02Speaker 2: a bottle of? Henny? That shit was like almost gone.
- 24:04Speaker 2: He was just drinking it and then you know, whatever
- 24:07Speaker 2: else he'd be doing. I don't know what else he'd
- 24:08Speaker 2: be doing, you know, I don't want to speculate, but
- 24:10Speaker 2: he you know, he's he's definitely on something.
- 24:14Speaker 1: You know.
- 24:15Speaker 2: But he's a super talented rapper. He could just be
- 24:18Speaker 2: one of those guys that's just high on life or
- 24:22Speaker 2: something else. But very talented guy. He actually rapped. He's
- 24:26Speaker 2: actually hard Like I like his music. You should have
- 24:30Speaker 2: you guys chatted at all.
- 24:31Speaker 1: No, we haven't.
- 24:32Speaker 2: He's a cool guy, super cool guy. He's not weirdo.
- 24:34Speaker 2: He's not like, I mean, depending on what you consider
- 24:37Speaker 2: a weirdo. But he was a nice guy, very talented guy.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Man shoutouts left you we wanted the hottest out of
- 24:41Speaker 2: LA right now? Yeah, No, that was the fun that interview.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I just gave up like halfway through. I was just
- 24:47Speaker 2: like he was like and then he would start having
- 24:52Speaker 2: like this whole off camera conversation and with like someone
- 24:56Speaker 2: over here, and I'm just like, well, we tried. It
- 25:01Speaker 2: was fun. People liked the interview and he killed his freestyle.
- 25:04Speaker 2: He freestyle for like fucking fifteen minutes or something like that.
- 25:07Speaker 2: You know, it was cool. Yeah, shots, I left you. Man,
- 25:10Speaker 2: you guys would work together.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe it'll come about on them one day.

- 25:20Speaker 2: I've always noticed. You know, I've had a conversation about
- 25:25Speaker 2: like rap hustling, and me and Filthy Richie talked about it.
- 25:30Speaker 2: You will hit a city and it's like, yo, tap
- 25:34Speaker 2: in if you need a verse, if you need a video,
- 25:37Speaker 2: if you need a motherfucking drop, if you need me
- 25:38Speaker 2: to you know, fucking I don't know, fucking clean your pool.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I'm in the city. I'm in the city. Tap in,
- 25:45Speaker 2: tap in, tap in.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I mean for you being like an independent artist and
- 25:50Speaker 2: like it's imperative though for you guys to like I
- 25:54Speaker 2: feel like, it's like, but how many songs have you
- 25:56Speaker 2: done where.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I ain't like this?
- 26:00Speaker 2: It was terrible and you were just like, man, it's
- 26:02Speaker 2: a bad fuck.
- 26:03Speaker 1: It It's happened. But they be getting text way more.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Like if you hear the song and it's just cheeks,
- 26:09Speaker 2: you'd be like, hey man, yeah, because.
- 26:12Speaker 1: If you if you're willing to give me some money,
- 26:14Speaker 1: you know your shit asked and you're gonna have to.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Your problem is most people don't know their ship's asks.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I think they know.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I don't know, man.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I think it's just like like like like a drug
- 26:24Speaker 1: abuser who don't want to admit that.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think I think people like get off.
- 26:30Speaker 2: It gives them like a hit, a dopamine to be like,
- 26:32Speaker 2: I'm a rapper, you know, wherever a little part of
- 26:35Speaker 2: town they're from, I got a song, pay pay so yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 2: you know, even if they get a fat bitch off that.
- 26:40Speaker 1: You know, I didn't look at it like that. It's crazy.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Do you ever pay for features?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Nah? The last feature I paid for is whenever I
- 26:51Speaker 1: pay sauce for a future. Damn. I haven't paid for
- 26:54Speaker 1: a feature.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Since it's like an exchange thing, right, like a switch
- 26:58Speaker 2: or what do they call it?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Not a switch?
- 26:59Speaker 2: A fucking why?
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah? But that that feature ended the changing my life
- 27:04Speaker 1: though for sure me.
- 27:05Speaker 2: So he's a fucking alien. He's so so good rapping
- 27:08Speaker 2: soft walkers.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I'm not saying I'm against paying for features.
- 27:11Speaker 2: It's gotta be the right one, yeah, for sure, Like
- 27:14Speaker 2: if you had if you got a deal on one.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, it just depends on who the person is.
- 27:19Speaker 1: If I feel like this can't really like benefit.
- 27:22Speaker 2: My career, would you pay Beyonce one hundred thousand dollars? Hell, yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 2: she's worth it, right, a million.
- 27:30Speaker 1: She's probably charging over a million.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I don't know if she's attacked the charge though.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, she probably she's a fucking billionaire. Yeah, right,
- 27:42Speaker 1: you're right, you're right. That's so true.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I feel like once you get to that certain level,
- 27:46Speaker 2: no one's charging for features. Like I don't think fucking
- 27:49Speaker 2: J Cole is charging people for features. He's just gonna
- 27:51Speaker 2: do it, or he's not, you know what I'm saying,
- 27:52Speaker 2: Like something with Drake, I feel like Drake's gonna do
- 27:56Speaker 2: what he wants to do.
- 27:57Speaker 1: And then right, right, right, you're right, that's true.
- 28:00Speaker 2: But I feel like, you know, at the end of
- 28:02Speaker 2: the day, like if you're a young artist and you're independent,
- 28:05Speaker 2: like them, feature bags pay they keep the lights on. Man,
- 28:09Speaker 2: man be coming in for sure? Man, Is there is
- 28:14Speaker 2: there any what are you working on right now?
- 28:16Speaker 1: Alpa thrown two, it drops May third?

- 28:22Speaker 1: Uh, twelve songs and I'm gonna add similar songs for
- 28:25Speaker 1: the looks any futures. Yeah, I got some features on there. Yeah,
- 28:32Speaker 1: I got like five six features ots on the O
- 28:35Speaker 1: T O T. Yeah you go put my Dog's tea
- 28:40Speaker 1: cuevo and pre quabo feature. Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna lead.
- 28:48Speaker 1: The rest of them just surprised me. But yeah, those
- 28:52Speaker 1: like the ones that like what I'm saying.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah, you.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Know him and Saw has been for with each other. Right,
- 29:01Speaker 1: So whenever I first I first, when I first mate Kuebo,
- 29:06Speaker 1: I was like I at first started coming around the
- 29:08Speaker 1: rap shit for real, you know what I'm saying. I
- 29:11Speaker 1: was still hustling and shit, you feel me, So I
- 29:13Speaker 1: wasn't like rapping. But I ended up seeing him again though,
- 29:16Speaker 1: you feel me, like years later and shit, and he
- 29:20Speaker 1: had told me like you doing your thing, bro, you
- 29:22Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And then it's crazy cause I
- 29:27Speaker 1: was on house arrest for like a whole year after Christmas.
- 29:31Speaker 1: My lawyer hit me up, I mean my yeah, yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 1: my lawyer hit me up, and he was like Hey,
- 29:35Speaker 1: you good. You ain't gotta be at the crib no more.
- 29:37Speaker 1: They ain't gonna take the monitor off though, but you
- 29:39Speaker 1: ain't got to be at the house no more. So
- 29:41Speaker 1: I went to the studio to go then go walk
- 29:44Speaker 1: and uh it was a big ass studio session like
- 29:47Speaker 1: Hello Houston Rappers and Quabo was there. You fear me
- 29:51Speaker 1: and then shit, so they like what we're doing. You
- 29:54Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. We end up doing the song
- 29:56Speaker 1: that's hard.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Have you ever worked out with OT's dad yet? Has
- 30:00Speaker 2: he tried to get you to take like t R
- 30:01Speaker 2: T or anything, Chuck.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I didn't work out with OT's dad. Now now I
- 30:09Speaker 1: have a woo posted though.
- 30:11Speaker 2: It's crazy to me that Ot somehow that's.
- 30:13Speaker 1: My dog right there is the best, Like he's super What.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I love about OT's camp he is not only the
- 30:20Speaker 2: tallest Mexican in the world on his camp, but he
- 30:23Speaker 2: also has.
- 30:23Speaker 1: The buffiest bulldog.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Yeah, his dad is a fucking fucking We'll be kicking
- 30:29Speaker 2: and I'll be like, damn, bro, I'm old and fat,
- 30:32Speaker 2: Like I just feel I feel inferior around Chuck Man.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Yeah, he a good dude though.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Super good dude man.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Shout out to Chuck Man, He's not like a bully
- 30:40Speaker 1: or nothing.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Are you?
- 30:43Speaker 1: What are?
- 30:43Speaker 2: You don't always wonder about you know, because Sauce has
- 30:46Speaker 2: obviously been in some very very public feuds. Have you
- 30:51Speaker 2: been pooled into any of that just without even.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Like, you know, nah, I have, Yeah, I haven't.
- 31:00Speaker 2: I always wondering like if you like, if you signing somebody,
- 31:02Speaker 2: or you're like if this fools beefing with like so
- 31:05Speaker 2: and so, like inherit the beef.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you're gonna always like pick a side
- 31:12Speaker 1: though you feel me, but like I don't feel like
- 31:13Speaker 1: he just like just throw me in this ship like
- 31:15Speaker 1: in the cross the air, but in the crossfire. But

- 45:07Speaker 2: really prolific rate. You know, some guys don't record as much,
- 45:11Speaker 2: so it's like when they passed like pop smoke, we
- 45:13Speaker 2: got one album, you know what I'm saying, and it
- 45:15Speaker 2: was kind of stitched together, but like Draco's got records.

- 45:39Speaker 2: many ideas that just get laid down off the top
- 45:41Speaker 2: of their heads that like, man, if like if you're
