Transcript
- 0:09Hello and welcome back to my channel.
- 0:10My name is Larissa with defect and this is bound to it lorenza.
- 0:14How are you all doing? A hope?
- 0:16You're doing great for today's episode.
- 0:18We'll talk about Nollywood actress.
- 0:20Chiama Okafor. Now, chiama or car for if you
- 0:24don't know is the daughter of John who careful also known as
- 0:28mr. Abu so a few weeks ago we just
- 0:32sitting there minding our business chomo.
- 0:35Careful posted a video on to talk that way.
- 0:38Went viral on actually the whole social media platform where she
- 0:42posted the story of first of all.
- 0:45She said, she she she married in February and then she was kind
- 0:49of trying to tell her love story.
- 0:51So Jamal Crawford said she met her husband now ex-husband.
- 0:56Anyway on Tick-Tock disarray talking, the fell in love two
- 1:01weeks later. They are going to meet our terms
- 1:03and z bar when they met he proposed.
- 1:07She accepted the proposal. Immediately, my think, after two
- 1:11months, They carried out their Court wedding.
- 1:15Now, she was posting the video to invite people to her
- 1:21traditional marriage, which according to her is scheduled
- 1:25for the 28th of December this year, which is next month.
- 1:29Basically, when trauma made a video, a lot of people were
- 1:33thinking trauma, you made this guy, two weeks later he proposed
- 1:36to you. Like how How can, you know,
- 1:39somebody in just two weeks? I mean the guy was based in the
- 1:43US or is based in the u.s. So people were kind of thinking,
- 1:47okay, you just started talking to this guy, two weeks and he
- 1:51proposed and we accepted like the families when I will involve
- 1:54during the wedding and because it was just like a whirlwind
- 1:57romance. I mean, she is young.
- 2:00Trauma is an early twenties or mid-20s whatever the situation
- 2:04is, but she is young. You get that a lot with young
- 2:10impressionable people, you know, jumping into things I really do
- 2:16this anyway. Trauma has come out now to see
- 2:22that her marriage has ended because her husband lied.
- 2:27I mean, let's just go back. Went to my posted that.
- 2:30She met him and married him after two weeks.
- 2:33People were like trauma. This is too early.
- 2:35Like, there's no way you can know somebody.
- 2:38After two weeks like there are so many things, you don't even
- 2:41know about this person. According to German, she said
- 2:45that she that was talking to her calling, to calling on the
- 2:49phone, almost every hour, even when he was at work.
- 2:53He was always calling her to check out how she is.
- 2:57Like she has never felt loved the way she fell in love with
- 3:01him, like he was so loving and he was so caring.
- 3:04Like, she has been a really according to Joe much has been
- 3:06relationship with people. Who do I even living in the same
- 3:10house bow? They didn't even pay half G
- 3:14attention that this guy that was living in the US, was paying to
- 3:18her. So she felt that this is a
- 3:21person. This is our soul made to
- 3:23Montgomery to the man. So that was the explanation that
- 3:27show my give to people who we are trying to find out why she
- 3:31would jump into marrying somebody after two weeks,
- 3:35especially when that person is not even in the same.
- 3:38Tenant with her. A lot of people defended, how
- 3:41they said that you can lose somebody for 10, 11 years and
- 3:45still don't know who they are. Like there is no manual for
- 3:50where you meet people because some of them actually said that
- 3:53for her to have met this man on Tick Tock.
- 3:56This, there's good definitely going to be breakfast served.
- 4:00Now, if you don't know breakfast, breakfast is actually
- 4:02a heartbreak Nigerians in refer to breakfast as heartbreak.
- 4:06So they were saying that she Will soon get served?
- 4:10Like, there's no way this man is it is something that people just
- 4:15felt there was something wrong with a full grown man.
- 4:20Getting married to her after two weeks, like a lot of who said
- 4:24this is not, this is not normal people living in America came
- 4:28into their defense, they set up some people just, you know, me
- 4:30some within 24 hours, they look to Vegas and they get married
- 4:34and they lived happily ever after that.
- 4:36You don't really know these things.
- 4:38Things like there's no way you can miss somebody date for 11
- 4:41years and still don't know who they are.
- 4:43So a lot of people had like different things to say about
- 4:47that. Relationship cha was very
- 4:50adamant. She went on BBC, ebo, to kind of
- 4:55defend our relationship to kind of defend has tons.
- 4:58She said that this man has been very loyal, he has been very
- 5:01good to her. He came to Nigeria to see how
- 5:04she is. She has been to the US, see him
- 5:07and You will untick talk all over to talk making videos and
- 5:12if you actually look at the man, you know that this is not a
- 5:15young man. I mean if you take care of
- 5:18yourself, you can be 45 and still look, you know, in your
- 5:22face has to be honest. Because even now 40 is the new
- 5:2620, so everybody is taking care of themselves now.
- 5:29So it's not like then that you see somebody that is 40 and
- 5:31you'll be like, oh my God, yet this person is 40 anyway.
- 5:35After all, those defending that came from trauma and her fans
- 5:39defending her saying that you can never tell with these
- 5:42things. People are, like, there is no
- 5:44way you can know, basic things like, basic family information
- 5:48about this person, if you've only known them for two weeks,
- 5:51there's no way you've met their mother.
- 5:53There's no way you've met their sisters, especially when that
- 5:56person is, when you married them, you guys were not in the
- 6:01same. You did not go to visit their
- 6:04family before you got married to him.
- 6:06So, the debate was going on. There are some people Who is
- 6:08voting to a man. There are some people who are
- 6:10saying that this is a mistake, she's going to regret it and all
- 6:14that even beside was dragged into the whole thing.
- 6:17They said, why would you allow your daughter to get married
- 6:21without you being present? But at the end of the day, the
- 6:24traditional marriage was shadowed for 28th of December
- 6:28next month you do, traditional marriage is very grounded in
- 6:32Tradition and very detailed. You're not just going to show up
- 6:36with one or two people to say. That you're getting married to
- 6:39two that they are daughter. That is not going to happen.
- 6:43You're going to bring your parents, you're going to bring
- 6:45your siblings. You're going to bring your kings
- 6:47man, what a traditional merits happened.
- 6:51So, I think during the process of all these things, according
- 6:55to trauma the the model of the guy actually told her thoughts,
- 7:01her son was married with three children.
- 7:06I mean, three adults. Children.
- 7:10So, the Bells Are Ringing for Chama.
- 7:12Anyway, trauma came out and said that her marriage of nine months
- 7:17as ended because the man told a little lie, I was like a little
- 7:23lie. I mean, I post at that because
- 7:25the title was he told a little lie and I'm like thinking, at
- 7:29least one lie, how can you end a marriage because of little lie,
- 7:33but I was patient enough to read the details of what she said and
- 7:38the it'll I turn out to be that this man was married with three
- 7:42children and according to the story, This Way adult to like
- 7:46Teenage children, three teenage daughters that he had, although
- 7:51he is divorced, but he never mentioned it to her.
- 7:56And according to trauma, she said, you know, when they were
- 7:59making all this, you know, Tick-Tock videos that somebody
- 8:01whispered it to her, she actually confronted him and he
- 8:05denied this whole human being, In denied, the marriage, and
- 8:12having three children, and the fact that she said it was a
- 8:15small lie. I was like, what would you
- 8:20classify as a big? If first of all, I should also
- 8:25mention that he lied about his age for him to have had three
- 8:29teenage daughters. I mean, even if you got married,
- 8:33when he was 18, which is unlikely, he would be in his 40s
- 8:39like mid 40s, at least mid 40s, so we don't know what he told
- 8:47her. Maybe he told her his 33 is one
- 8:51of the things that people don't really take into account.
- 8:54Is anybody living it most people, especially men traveling
- 8:57to Diaspora? They lie about their age.
- 9:01When they are processing their passport to travel, they always
- 9:05lie, like 6 B, take out six seven years from their real age
- 9:11like okay, somebody is 33 on their passport, just know that
- 9:17up. And he's either 4500, you know,
- 9:21early 40s, that is. So if you look, if somebody is
- 9:25living in Desperate, especially men and you look at their
- 9:28passports, and your passport is saying, 3335 my sister, just
- 9:34attend. Yes to that age.
- 9:35That is the real age. I don't know.
- 9:37Sometimes it's even a disadvantage for them because
- 9:39you see some of them who are now in their 70s, still working.
- 9:45They cannot retire. Not because They are not of age,
- 9:48but because they are documents said that there are still all
- 9:53of, you know, employable age. So they cannot retire.
- 9:56They cannot receive pension because they are their ages is
- 10:03ten years younger than what? They actually are.
- 10:06So I think this was one of the situations where she looked at
- 10:09is passports and he, if he's telling her that, oh my God, I
- 10:13am 33 years old and she pick up his passports and he the pass.
- 10:17Process that you three. She is likely going to believe
- 10:21that anybody end of the day trauma is saying that she's no
- 10:24longer married because he told his small lie, but that's more
- 10:28like, I think this is where the problem is, because she's saying
- 10:32that she has already filed for divorce.
- 10:35She cannot forgive that small lie and I'm sitting down
- 10:40thinking, am I am I being punked?
- 10:42Or like how, how is that? Small There is nothing small
- 10:49about a man in full grown adult. In his 40s.
- 10:53Denying his yok denying, his ex-wife.
- 10:56I can understand, you know, if you were married before and you
- 11:00are not the marriage and you don't even want to associate
- 11:04yourself with that person. That is understandable.
- 11:08But when you deny your flesh and blood three, Young adults, just
- 11:16because you want to marry somebody who is probably five
- 11:20years older than your children that I think is a very big
- 11:23problem. Like it is an issue and it's not
- 11:26a small lie. It's a massive lie because if
- 11:29somebody can deny their flesh and blood you can deny your wife
- 11:33like I use. Listen, that's your business.
- 11:38More denying your children. It took his mother to actually
- 11:44Tell her that my son has three children.
- 11:49You can imagine like what it took for her to come out and say
- 11:54that, because obviously he must have told her not to say
- 11:57anything, but she couldn't keep that to herself and she had to
- 12:01tell your mother. This guy is married or was
- 12:07married with three children. My three lovely grandchildren.
- 12:12It's not a small lie. Why I'm sorry, are I refuse to
- 12:16accept that? All I can say is, people like
- 12:20the aspirins especially men in the Aspera, he lies as neutral.
- 12:28It's really the going back to Nigeria to and get married. 90%
- 12:32of them are cooking up. So they are building castle in
- 12:36the air for you and then you're going to get married to them and
- 12:40then realize I think not. Sense of people murmuring people
- 12:45in diaspora, especially the man even the women because there's
- 12:51this perception of people living in the Aspera.
- 12:55Because when you want to come to Nigeria, they always look their
- 12:59best. Like somebody who had worked all
- 13:04year round taking up extra shifts, saving up money, using a
- 13:09credit card to buy tickets. Going shopping to get new
- 13:13clothes because If you're in the UK, like people don't really
- 13:16care about clothes or less, you're going to a party.
- 13:18Like, there are some people who care about the wedding dress,
- 13:21don't get me wrong or majority. The average people in the UK,
- 13:27you always are in jacket. So nobody cares about what is
- 13:31underneath. Some people do care or I think
- 13:34majority of people don't even care if you work in an office
- 13:37with, they don't care things that they way, you're thinking,
- 13:42you know, you think you're in danger Coming to the UK, you're
- 13:45going to be wearing all these things coming.
- 13:47You quit to look old in your face.
- 13:51I remember when I started walking, I really went shopping,
- 13:55you know, change my wardrobe and then remember my manager
- 14:01approached me and said yes, we know that this is a formal
- 14:05environment or do you have jeans?
- 14:12Honestly, I will also show Shocked because all do, I could
- 14:16see that everybody was dressing casually but I just in or not.
- 14:23I just saw this as an office. I need to dress for more after
- 14:27that De Amor. He just read my sweats and I'll
- 14:31come to the office. Everybody will be looking at
- 14:33each other. So my point is nobody really
- 14:40gives a hoot about your dress. It is when people are going to
- 14:43Nigeria The by all these things to look good to make an
- 14:48impression. But at the end of the deep, the
- 14:50people you're trying to impress are looking at you like, okay?
- 14:53Yes, this is your daily life. This is how you live daily.
- 14:57This is how you dress, this is how your life is.
- 15:00So when you're not marrying them and they're coming into your,
- 15:04your, you know, space and they're not what they think.
- 15:08Their perception of you doesn't match the reality that they are
- 15:11seen, that becomes a problem. I understand that she's saying
- 15:15that she just found out according to her, somebody told
- 15:18her, but she chose to believe her husband, so I don't know.
- 15:24It took the mother to tell her that her son has been married
- 15:29with Children for her to finally agree because he denied when she
- 15:33asked him, I don't know, it's just crazy.
- 15:39I mean, if somebody sending you all, I'm 32 years old and you
- 15:42realize that that person is actually 45 years old.
- 15:45Would you still go ahead with our marriage?
- 15:48Or if somebody is telling you, I've never been married.
- 15:50I've never had children and then you get my recent them and you
- 15:54realize that they've been divorced and they have three
- 15:58adult children, would you still go ahead without marriage or
- 16:03better? Still would you marry somebody
- 16:05you met after two weeks? That is I mean there's no manual
- 16:09to these things. You can I know of people who
- 16:13came back for Christmas Mets, you know, they are soulmates or
- 16:17Mets, their wives enemies that word Mets, you know, ladies got
- 16:23married to them within the space of two weeks and they have lived
- 16:27happily ever after. So I don't think he has to do
- 16:31with meeting somebody for two weeks and then that was a
- 16:35problem, you know, some people said they met on Tick-Tock like
- 16:38how can she meet somebody on Tick Tock, marry them in two
- 16:43weeks and Have a happy life. You know, we cannot predict
- 16:50these things. You can know.
- 16:52Somebody, in fact, the pope can introduce somebody to you and
- 16:56you and the pope will not even know who the person is that
- 17:00true? The true character of that
- 17:02person. So it doesn't really it's just,
- 17:04I have come to the conclusion that my edges.
- 17:08Look, it is look if you're lucky to find the one that makes you
- 17:13happy. If you know be happy, if you
- 17:17you're lucky and you find the one that is lying every day.
- 17:21The one that light, you want that denied an entire family and
- 17:27then you see that that is, it's more like that.
- 17:29It's not a small lie. I wish to my all the best I
- 17:34believe that she was blindsided, although there is no way like
- 17:40there are red flags for her to say that somebody actually told
- 17:43her. About his family, but she chose,
- 17:49these are the issues. We see the red flags, poor.
- 17:53We choose not to believe them, or we choose, not to act on
- 17:58them. So, regardless of how you think
- 18:02somebody blindsided you, there's always that reasonable doubt.
- 18:07There's always that information or information molested data
- 18:11that you've come across for. Maybe you Have not added like me
- 18:16in its the jigsaw puzzle. You need to put them together to
- 18:19be to be able to understand what it actually is.
- 18:22But yeah you can take you nine months to get the truth, you can
- 18:29take you nine years together truth.
- 18:31You can take it even 11 years. I mean Tokamak in what dated had
- 18:35eggs for 11 years? 11 years guys they got married.
- 18:40Only fossil found out that he actually got somebody else
- 18:42pregnant. Or there are no manual to this
- 18:46thing's just I think everybody should just live in the moment.
- 18:50If you see somebody, even if it's two days marry the person.
- 18:54If you're happy for two days, marry them.
- 18:58The world's them keep you moving this life?
- 19:01Now, you know, it's it's it's it is what it is.
- 19:07I wish them all the best. I mean, she is young.
- 19:09She is very hard-working. I think our dad is trying To
- 19:14help us to get over it because they are posting regularly, you
- 19:19know, doing skits together, which is very good to see that
- 19:22he is trying to cheer her up while she deal with this
- 19:27difficult situation. So that's the love to say, don't
- 19:32want marry someone you met on to talk after two weeks miss their
- 19:35family before you married. So thank you very much for
- 19:38watching today's episode, please like like like and share.
- 19:42Thank you very much. Bye.
- 19:43Bye.
