- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York marks them on seven to ten, wor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hey, well we'll get to the mayoral debate in a moment.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Other big thing going on in this is fascinating. You know,
- 0:15Speaker 2: this Trump derangement syndrome is a weird thing to catch,
- 0:20Speaker 2: this Trump derangement syndrome. You know, like he could start
- 0:22Speaker 2: blowing up drug cartels, fentanyl shipments, and they'll oppose that.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You could start arresting illegals and they'll oppose that. Whatever
- 0:30Speaker 2: he wants to do, they'll oppose. Now, the problem is,
- 0:34Speaker 2: the White House needs a ballroom. They have the East
- 0:38Speaker 2: Room of the White House, which is where they hold
- 0:41Speaker 2: all the formal events, the president and state dinners and
- 0:45Speaker 2: all that. But it's a small room. And they say
- 0:49Speaker 2: it holds two hundred people. But that's if you just
- 0:51Speaker 2: put chairs in, you know, like, but if you want
- 0:53Speaker 2: to have a dinner with tables, it really is about
- 0:57Speaker 2: one hundred people. It doesn't hold a lot of people.
- 1:00Speaker 2: So what they do when they have to have a
- 1:02Speaker 2: big event world leaders or some major event is they
- 1:05Speaker 2: put tents out on the lawn. But Trump is right,
- 1:09Speaker 2: it's kind of embarrassing. You bring a big world leader
- 1:12Speaker 2: here and for the dinner, he's out in a tent
- 1:16Speaker 2: and the lawn like it's a wedding and greatneck or something.
- 1:19Speaker 2: It's just too weird. So Trump wants a ballroom, and
- 1:24Speaker 2: he's had, you know, I mean, he's a master at this.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It's not like Joe Biden or George Bush wants a ballroom.
- 1:31Speaker 2: They don't know what the hell they're doing. But here's
- 1:33Speaker 2: a guy who's an absolute world expert on construction and
- 1:37Speaker 2: building ballrooms. He's built many of them. Every one of
- 1:39Speaker 2: his clubs, every one of his hotels, they all have
- 1:42Speaker 2: spectacular ballrooms. So he's done this a hundred times. He
- 1:46Speaker 2: knows how to do it, get it done fast, and
- 1:50Speaker 2: do a great job. But he's absolutely right about this ballroom.
- 1:54Speaker 2: You know the Rose Garden, and that wasn't absolutely necessary,
- 1:58Speaker 2: but they would have these ceremonies. He's out in the
- 2:00Speaker 2: Rose Garden. It was just a big grass field, and
- 2:03Speaker 2: a lot of times it rained and you'd be standing
- 2:05Speaker 2: on wet grass. And then every time they'd have those
- 2:07Speaker 2: things on the Rose Garden, they'd bring out one hundred
- 2:10Speaker 2: folding chairs and people a couple of hundred people's and
- 2:13Speaker 2: then they took it all away and the grass was
- 2:15Speaker 2: all messed up and they had to redo the grass.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So he decided to put a terrace out there like
- 2:20Speaker 2: at mar A Lago. You know, they said he paved
- 2:22Speaker 2: it over. He didn't pave it over. It's really really fine,
- 2:25Speaker 2: world class tile that he made this terrace out of,
- 2:29Speaker 2: and it's the detail on it is amazing if you
- 2:31Speaker 2: look closely. He put a lot of drains in because
- 2:35Speaker 2: that's important, the good drainage. But you look at the
- 2:38Speaker 2: drains and the holes the slats. He had special drains
- 2:42Speaker 2: made where it looks like the American flag in the
- 2:44Speaker 2: drains in the hole. So it's absolutely amazing thing. And
- 2:48Speaker 2: they put these beautiful tables out there, beautiful chairs and
- 2:51Speaker 2: the heat lamps, and they have these dinners now out
- 2:54Speaker 2: in the rose gardener, these luncheons out in the rose garden.
- 2:56Speaker 2: It's absolutely beautiful. So he was right about that. The
- 2:59Speaker 2: ball room construction will be next to the east wing.
- 3:03Speaker 2: If you look where the west wing is not enough
- 3:06Speaker 2: room on the other side of the west wing, there's
- 3:08Speaker 2: just very little room between there and the street. Also,
- 3:11Speaker 2: you don't want the ballroom next to the west wing,
- 3:14Speaker 2: but the east wing. Nothing goes down in the East wing.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Absolutely nothing. It's way down in the end. The biggest
- 3:21Speaker 2: thing in there is the calligraphy office. That's where they
- 3:23Speaker 2: make the place cards for dinners and the invitations. It's
- 3:27Speaker 2: just like a very minor business office way at the
- 3:30Speaker 2: end of the White House. First Lady's office is in there,
- 3:32Speaker 2: but that's easily moved. In fact, when Hillary Clinton was
- 3:36Speaker 2: the first Lady, she knew not want to be in
- 3:37Speaker 2: the East wing because it was like a warehouse way
- 3:40Speaker 2: at the end, so she insisted on having offices in
- 3:43Speaker 2: the west wing. So they're going to add this ballroom
- 3:47Speaker 2: to the East wing. And it's a big, big ballroom.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It's going to be a big structure. It'll hold about
- 3:52Speaker 2: eight hundred people. It'll be huge, it'll be magnificent. You
- 3:55Speaker 2: can go online, you can see the pictures of what
- 3:57Speaker 2: it'll look like. The sketches, the drawings, absolutely beautiful. Now
- 4:02Speaker 2: the left is going nuts, absolutely nuts now. I think
- 4:05Speaker 2: the secret reason. One reason is they know when this
- 4:09Speaker 2: thing is built it'll be used constantly and forever that
- 4:12Speaker 2: it will be part of Trump's legacy forever. It'll be
- 4:16Speaker 2: a big part of the White House and the people
- 4:18Speaker 2: will always remember Trump. So I think that's the real
- 4:20Speaker 2: reason they hate this thing. Now, then the pictures came
- 4:23Speaker 2: out of the wrecking ball and the cranes, and they're
- 4:28Speaker 2: taken down the whole wall, the whole front of the
- 4:30Speaker 2: East wing, the whole side of it. They're tearing it down.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And this is where it's got these crazy left wingers
- 4:36Speaker 2: all up in arms. They're yelling and screaming. Now the
- 4:39Speaker 2: New York Times big article. Now some of them were
- 4:42Speaker 2: arguing that he lied. He said he wouldn't touch that wall.
- 4:46Speaker 2: He said he wouldn't take down that big Well, I
- 4:49Speaker 2: think they were trying to do it without taking down
- 4:50Speaker 2: all that stuff. But they looked at it, and you know,
- 4:52Speaker 2: the structural engineers look and you do have to take
- 4:55Speaker 2: it down. Now, here's the other thing. This is not
- 4:58Speaker 2: unusual to do construction like this, been a million times
- 5:01Speaker 2: at the White House. In fact, I think it was
- 5:04Speaker 2: Theodore Roosevelt actually built the West wing. At the time
- 5:09Speaker 2: there was no west wing. He added that somebody else
- 5:12Speaker 2: added the East wing, and then I forgot which president
- 5:16Speaker 2: was at fort somebody added a second floor to the
- 5:19Speaker 2: East wing. They just keep building additions to the White House,
- 5:23Speaker 2: the Truman balcony, they call it that because Truman built it.
- 5:26Speaker 2: There was no balcony like that. He built that onto
- 5:28Speaker 2: the White House. And it was Truman in nineteen forty
- 5:32Speaker 2: nine fifty who gutted the White House. They literally gutted
- 5:37Speaker 2: the entire White House. They tore everything that was out
- 5:40Speaker 2: of the White House. All they left was the exterior walls. Now,
- 5:43Speaker 2: one of the reasons the White House had been built
- 5:46Speaker 2: in a million years ago and there were so many
- 5:48Speaker 2: structural problems that they had to redo the whole building.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And you know, instead of the way it was built
- 5:54Speaker 2: out of use steel, and they looked at it, the
- 5:57Speaker 2: only way to do it really was to gut the building.
- 5:59Speaker 2: So the present and had to move out of the
- 6:01Speaker 2: White House for a couple of years while they got
- 6:04Speaker 2: it the entire inside of the White House and rebuilt it.
- 6:06Speaker 2: So construction is not unusual. But the liberals melting down.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Here's the clucking hens on the view yesterday.
- 6:13Speaker 3: That is not your building.
- 6:16Speaker 4: You don't own that.
- 6:18Speaker 5: You done it, you take it down, you don't own it.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I looked up the word annihilist while I had a
- 6:29Speaker 2: free moment.
- 6:30Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what he is.
- 6:32Speaker 5: He annihilates. This is a metaphor for what's going on
- 6:35Speaker 5: in our country.
- 6:36Speaker 7: He is tearing down.
- 6:38Speaker 5: The house.
- 6:40Speaker 8: Right now.
- 6:41Speaker 2: This is one of the this is one of what
- 6:42Speaker 2: they call the low IQ shows. This is a low
- 6:44Speaker 2: IQ show. But if you watch the high IQ shows,
- 6:47Speaker 2: you know, if you're watching Morning Joe or PBS or
- 6:50Speaker 2: you know, same thing the New York Times. He's destroying.
- 6:53Speaker 2: This is what they call it desecration. It's desecration. Now,
- 6:57Speaker 2: the problem with this, In six months, you're gonna have
- 6:59Speaker 2: the magnificent, beautiful structure. So they're going to be playing
- 7:04Speaker 2: your clips back and you're going to look kind of silly.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Here's President Trump.
- 7:07Speaker 9: We're building a world class ballroom. You know, for one
- 7:10Speaker 9: hundred and fifty years they've wanted a ballroom. Here I said,
- 7:13Speaker 9: if I do this again, I'm going to get a
- 7:15Speaker 9: ballroom built. And we're putting up our own money, with
- 7:18Speaker 9: the government just paying for nothing. You probably hear the
- 7:21Speaker 9: beautiful sound of construction to the back.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You hear that sound.
- 7:25Speaker 9: Oh that's music to my ears.
- 7:29Speaker 2: You know when you hear construction, you get sick. He
- 7:31Speaker 2: loves it. He loves it. It's it's his music. He
- 7:33Speaker 2: really loves it.
- 7:34Speaker 1: We are using little sections of footings and various other things,
- 7:37Speaker 1: but that's sort of irrelevant. In order to do it properly,
- 7:41Speaker 1: we had to take down the existing structure. It's about
- 7:45Speaker 1: three hundred million dollars. It's set to do many many things,
- 7:48Speaker 1: including meetings of foreign leaders, including the honoring of foreign leaders.
- 7:53Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Now, remember he's owned a lot of hotels, a lot
- 7:58Speaker 2: of resorts. He's put ballrooms in all of them, so
- 8:01Speaker 2: he's an expert at this. If the government tried to
- 8:03Speaker 2: build this ballroom would take ten years. He'll get it
- 8:06Speaker 2: done in a matter of months. It'll be done very
- 8:08Speaker 2: very fast. It'll look beautiful. You know, a normal present
- 8:14Speaker 2: couldn't do this. He'd have to rely on the government.
- 8:17Speaker 2: There's some government though building office. It would have to
- 8:20Speaker 2: look you know, put contracts out for bidding. But you
- 8:24Speaker 2: know Trump knows every you know who's the best construction,
- 8:27Speaker 2: who's the best crane guy, who's the best wrecking company.
- 8:29Speaker 2: When he put that gold leaf on the walls, he
- 8:32Speaker 2: knows who's the best gold guy to bring in. So
- 8:34Speaker 2: he's done it a million times, so it's it's gonna
- 8:37Speaker 2: look great. You know, they did this at the capital
- 8:41Speaker 2: a while back. They years ago they started blowing holes
- 8:45Speaker 2: in the side of the Capitol, digging up the ground.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Terry was an awful construction site. What they were doing
- 8:51Speaker 2: was building the visitors Center, which now a million years
- 8:54Speaker 2: later is a very important part of the Capitol, and
- 8:56Speaker 2: it's magnificent. The visitor Center is the most beautiful thing there.
- 9:00Speaker 2: So this will pay off, This will be great. That's
- 9:02Speaker 2: the real reason they really hate this. Then, hey, New Jersey,
- 9:06Speaker 2: you got this governor's race, Chittarelli in Mikey Cheryl. It's tied,
- 9:12Speaker 2: looks close. I think she's They do their own private polling.
- 9:19Speaker 2: These public polls are just junkie polls, but in private
- 9:22Speaker 2: they do some serious, really expensive polling. I think she
- 9:26Speaker 2: saw she was in trouble because she went to Obama
- 9:28Speaker 2: for help. She needs Obama to campaign for endorser, and
- 9:32Speaker 2: he did. He just he came right out and endorsed her.
- 9:35Speaker 2: But you'll notice he didn't show up normally. Endorsement means
- 9:40Speaker 2: you fly in, you do a rally, you take pictures together.
- 9:43Speaker 2: You have pictures of you holding hands, you know him
- 9:47Speaker 2: with you know, give him that fist pump signal, and
- 9:51Speaker 2: great pictures of them together. Those go all over the place. Well,
- 9:54Speaker 2: apparently Obama not that interested in Mikey Cheryl. He did
- 9:57Speaker 2: not fly in. He sent a video the guy that
- 10:00Speaker 2: doesn't want to show up at the charity dinner the honoree,
- 10:03Speaker 2: so he'll send a video. You can play the video,
- 10:05Speaker 2: and even with the video Obama, you could see he's
- 10:08Speaker 2: in his living room in an easy chair with a
- 10:10Speaker 2: sweater on. It's like, I'm not even gonna put a
- 10:13Speaker 2: jacket on for this video. So obviously it didn't mean
- 10:16Speaker 2: much to him this race. So the debate last night,
- 10:23Speaker 2: once again, it looks like it was a good night
- 10:25Speaker 2: for Cuomo. He had his best debate ever. Now he
- 10:29Speaker 2: had set the bar very low because he's a bad debater.
- 10:33Speaker 2: He got wiped out in two debates. In the primary,
- 10:35Speaker 2: mom Donnie just slaughtered him. First debate, he was not strong.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So he's obviously been practicing, getting a lot of coaching
- 10:42Speaker 2: for him. He was very strong in the debate. Best
- 10:46Speaker 2: guy in the debate was Curtis. Curtis won the debate
- 10:48Speaker 2: on issues on substance on content, but the moderators were
- 10:54Speaker 2: trying as hard as they could to keep Curtis out
- 10:57Speaker 2: of it. They very rarely called on him. They just
- 10:59Speaker 2: focused on Cuomo and Donnie. They treated them like they
- 11:04Speaker 2: were the major party candidates, and Curtis was the third
- 11:07Speaker 2: party candidate. It's actually Cuomo who's the outsider. He's the
- 11:10Speaker 2: third party candidate. But the monitor the moderators were trying
- 11:15Speaker 2: very hard to push Cuomo in this. One of the
- 11:20Speaker 2: moderators is Errol lewis very left wing Democrat, but his
- 11:24Speaker 2: wife actually is employed within the Cuomo world. There so,
- 11:30Speaker 2: but here's part of it. This was I think this
- 11:33Speaker 2: is Cuoma's best moment. He went after mom, Donnie.
- 11:35Speaker 3: You have never had a job, You've never accomplished anything.
- 11:40Speaker 3: There's no reason to believe you have any merit or
- 11:42Speaker 3: qualification for eight and a half million lives. You don't
- 11:47Speaker 3: know how to run a government, you don't know how
- 11:48Speaker 3: to handle an emergency, and you've literally never proposed a
- 11:53Speaker 3: bill on anything that you're now talking about in your campaign.
- 11:57Speaker 2: All Right, Cuomo, usually bad in debates, was pretty strong there.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Yeah, the worst attendance record in the Assembly, and you
- 12:05Speaker 3: gave yourselves the highest rays in the United States of America.
- 12:11Speaker 3: You went from one hundred and ten thousand to one
- 12:13Speaker 3: hundred and forty thousand dollars and then you never showed
- 12:16Speaker 3: up for work and you missed eighty percent.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Of the votes. Shame on you, God, bame on you.
- 12:22Speaker 2: That's the best Cuomo's ever done. So he's trying to
- 12:24Speaker 2: pick up the pace. He's been a horrible debater campaigner,
- 12:28Speaker 2: but good he had a good night last night again.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Curtis won on substance on issues. Hey, Cuomo also released
- 12:35Speaker 2: a very good commercial. Cuomo released a very powerful commercial.
- 12:41Speaker 2: It was done with AI and it basically said what
- 12:44Speaker 2: would happen if Mom Donnie was mayor? And then through
- 12:46Speaker 2: AI it shows you New York falling apart and burning
- 12:50Speaker 2: up on fire, Criminals running loose. Powerful video, great TV commercial,
- 12:56Speaker 2: but he pulled it right away. I'm something that I
- 12:59Speaker 2: don't remember exactly what. One of the images in there
- 13:01Speaker 2: was offensive to somebody. So Cuomo caved, pulled it off
- 13:04Speaker 2: the air. Should have left it on, never taken it off.
- 13:10Speaker 2: That's the problem with Clomo. He caves to these left
- 13:12Speaker 2: wing cooks. He goes woke. He's always afraid not to
- 13:15Speaker 2: cater to them, and that could be why he screwed
- 13:18Speaker 2: up so badly as governor with his no bail, no jail,
- 13:20Speaker 2: closed the prisons, He was catering to the left too much,
- 13:23Speaker 2: but he shouldn't have pulled that commercial off. There more
- 13:26Speaker 2: from the debate.
- 13:27Speaker 1: If there was a rancher's election, this, you'd have to
- 13:29Speaker 1: rank these myself Flumber one and.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Who would who would money pick?
- 13:34Speaker 1: If there was a rancher's election, this, you'd have to
- 13:36Speaker 1: rank these myself Flumber one and Curtis number two.
- 13:39Speaker 10: Mister oh, please, don't be glati in me, he is.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Told me. But I'd only vote for myself.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Mister Pam, I love that's Zorn and Kurt take it idea.
- 14:01Speaker 6: I don't know, I'm just enamored with it. I would
- 14:03Speaker 6: just rank myself.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but again, Curtis had a great night. Curtis the
- 14:07Speaker 2: best debate or funniest guy in the debate. He had
- 14:09Speaker 2: some great moments.
- 14:10Speaker 10: Sure on, your resume could fit on a cocktail napkin,
- 14:15Speaker 10: and Andrew your failures could fill a public school library
- 14:21Speaker 10: in New York City.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Yeah. So, now the problem is we've had no polling
- 14:26Speaker 2: for weeks. I know, well, what about that? I saw
- 14:30Speaker 2: it in the news. It was just just a junk poll.
- 14:32Speaker 2: The last one the polling company nobody ever heard of,
- 14:36Speaker 2: done by a Cuomo lobbyist. But any of these college polls,
- 14:40Speaker 2: these they're just terrible. We've had no real polling yet,
- 14:43Speaker 2: so we don't know. We'll see. If early voting starts Saturday,
- 14:46Speaker 2: that's the key turnout. Get out there and vote for
- 14:49Speaker 2: not only Curtis, but you got a lot of important races.
- 14:53Speaker 2: You can really make a difference on Saturday, or it'll
- 14:56Speaker 2: be ten days of early voting. Then the election. You
- 14:58Speaker 2: can really make a difference by voting. Vote for a
- 15:01Speaker 2: Maud Maren for District Attorney in Manhattan. You got to
- 15:04Speaker 2: get rid of this Alvin Bragg, the guy that lets
- 15:06Speaker 2: all the criminals out the Republican challengers. Maud Maren, she's
- 15:11Speaker 2: very good. Vote for her. Vote for Bruce Blakeman in
- 15:14Speaker 2: Nassau County, Anne Donaldley for DA in Nasau County. But
- 15:17Speaker 2: also in New York, you can change the city Council.
- 15:20Speaker 2: The City Council really runs New York. You can get
- 15:23Speaker 2: rid of some of those left wing kooks on the
- 15:24Speaker 2: city Council. So big opportunity in the election. Hey, Jimmy
- 15:28Speaker 2: Fayala will be with us in a few minutes and
- 15:30Speaker 2: then we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to
- 15:33Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred
- 15:37Speaker 2: three two one zero seven to ten in Mark on
- 15:41Speaker 2: Demand by setting a preset for his podcast on the
- 15:45Speaker 2: iHeartRadio app.
- 15:46Speaker 5: Now back to Mark Simon on war.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Well, let's take some calls. Let's go to Claire in Secret. Claire,
- 15:55Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 15:56Speaker 4: I'm good. I love you show Mark. I have to
- 15:59Speaker 4: say after the debate, which I watched online, I caught
- 16:03Speaker 4: the ten o'clock news Fox, and it was lit. I
- 16:07Speaker 4: think Liz is the reporter. She reported that Como didn't
- 16:14Speaker 4: hang around like the other two did to speak to reporters.
- 16:18Speaker 4: He made his way up to the garden and caught
- 16:20Speaker 4: the second half of the Knicks. And who is he
- 16:22Speaker 4: sitting next to Adams? You know, I'm a New.
- 16:27Speaker 2: York Yeah, well, he's trying to get Adam's endorsement. That's
- 16:30Speaker 2: why I think while he rushed over there to see
- 16:31Speaker 2: Adams and he didn't get.
- 16:33Speaker 4: A damn about it. And I'm I'm a native New
- 16:36Speaker 4: Yorker eighty years ago. And I tell you what, there's
- 16:41Speaker 4: no way a true Republican is going to hold their nods.
- 16:45Speaker 4: No one's going to hold their nose.
- 16:46Speaker 6: And both for common well, yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 2: That's the other problem. Thanks to there's this fantasy that
- 16:50Speaker 2: if Curtis dropped out, all his voters would go to Cuomo.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Most of them would just stay home. But after the debate,
- 16:56Speaker 2: Clomo rushed over to Madison Square Garden to sit with
- 16:59Speaker 2: Erica Adams and try to win that vote over. Let's
- 17:03Speaker 2: go to Rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing
- 17:07Speaker 2: pretty good?
- 17:07Speaker 8: Mark forty nine degreas here this morning, But it'll be
- 17:10Speaker 8: up to seventy before the day's over, so it's into
- 17:13Speaker 8: a real fall season here.
- 17:14Speaker 2: All right, all right, you win, it's only going to
- 17:17Speaker 2: like fifty nine here, all right, go ahead.
- 17:19Speaker 8: I almost thought they shot Cromo up with the same
- 17:21Speaker 8: stuff they used to shoot Biden up with, because you know,
- 17:23Speaker 8: he was yelling and screaming, and he actually looked animated
- 17:26Speaker 8: for a change. You know, Dana Perno had a good
- 17:29Speaker 8: remark this morning. You know, Cromo loves himself. When Donnie
- 17:33Speaker 8: loves the money and Curtis loves New York, he's the
- 17:36Speaker 8: only guy up there that truly really loves New York
- 17:39Speaker 8: City's but as entire life there, No.
- 17:41Speaker 2: It's a good point. You know, Cromo was good last night.
- 17:44Speaker 2: You're right they might have shot him up with some
- 17:45Speaker 2: of that Biden's juice. But now you're right, nobody would
- 17:50Speaker 2: trust Mom Donnie, and nobody really trusts Cuomo and Curtis
- 17:54Speaker 2: the only guy you could really, really actually trust who
- 17:58Speaker 2: seems to be sincere about everything. Let's go to Vincent
- 18:01Speaker 2: and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 18:03Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, I'm fine, Hi Mara. That was a
- 18:06Speaker 6: pretty animated debate. I have to agree with rich and
- 18:10Speaker 6: also the previous call of that they must have juiced
- 18:13Speaker 6: Formo up with something. A lot of people have been
- 18:17Speaker 6: tossing around the fact that nobody pays the bus and
- 18:22Speaker 6: the subway fair. I've been telling friends that depends on
- 18:27Speaker 6: what neighborhood you are. I have to take a bus
- 18:30Speaker 6: a couple of stops to go to the place where
- 18:33Speaker 6: I lease my car, and it's an Easton Parkway. It's
- 18:39Speaker 6: a nice neighborhood. I don't see anybody evading the bus
- 18:44Speaker 6: fair and even there on the subways. More often than
- 18:48Speaker 6: not where I live, it's the high school kids when
- 18:51Speaker 6: they get out of school. They're pulling pranks and they're
- 18:54Speaker 6: jumping over the thing. Here's one thing that everybody missed yesterday.
- 18:58Speaker 6: That's the works Kathy Holklan this stupid New York State
- 19:03Speaker 6: legislature with his whole green energy and green ideas. They're
- 19:09Speaker 6: pushing this zero emissions law, which means by twenty thirty
- 19:14Speaker 6: all of the houses that currently are heated with natural
- 19:19Speaker 6: gas or with oil would have to do away with
- 19:24Speaker 6: their systems and put in these heat pumps. Well, heat
- 19:29Speaker 6: pumps are a relative from the turn of the nineteenth
- 19:32Speaker 6: century where you had all these ducks going throughout the building.
- 19:38Speaker 6: The boiler was in, the heat pump was in the cellar.
- 19:41Speaker 6: But the problem is is you still got to use fuel.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Usually you use gas and it has a fan that
- 19:47Speaker 6: pushes the heat throughout the building. Once the fan and
- 19:51Speaker 6: the he go off, the building gets cold. And Curtis
- 19:55Speaker 6: talked about it's going to cost landlords, especially small you're
- 20:00Speaker 6: talking about minimum yeah two.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Well, yeah, no, Curtis had some great points. Excellent call, Vincent,
- 20:06Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Hey, when we come back, Jimmy Fayla,
- 20:09Speaker 2: he'll be with us next on seven to ten WR,
- 20:13Speaker 2: now more.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Mark Simone on seven ten WR.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Well, Hey, we had a special dinner last night Beautiful
- 20:21Speaker 2: Steakhouse for twenty five of our biggest, best sponsors, and
- 20:25Speaker 2: a few people spoke. Jimmy Fayla stole the show. Everybody
- 20:29Speaker 2: loved him. Jimmy Fayala is now on WR. You can
- 20:32Speaker 2: listen to him every night nine o'clock, nine to midnight.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Excellent show every weeknight, and he's got the best late
- 20:39Speaker 2: night show on television Saturday nights, ten o'clock, Fox News Channel.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla, how you doing well?
- 20:46Speaker 5: You know what, I didn't really arrive in showbiz till
- 20:50Speaker 5: I was telling jokes at a podium in a steakhouse
- 20:52Speaker 5: at five point thirty. I mean, that's the gig, you know,
- 20:56Speaker 5: when you get into the industry. You know, people dream
- 20:58Speaker 5: about the Tonight Show and they guess. But you know,
- 21:00Speaker 5: anytime you're at an east side steakhouse at five pm
- 21:03Speaker 5: with a sober crowd, that's the real comedy.
- 21:05Speaker 2: But it what a great night?
- 21:06Speaker 5: Huh? Yeah?
- 21:07Speaker 2: Well, I hate to break it to you. Even if
- 21:08Speaker 2: you're hosting the Tonight Show, they'll make you go to
- 21:10Speaker 2: a dinner with all the top sponsors and tell some jokes.
- 21:14Speaker 8: How do I do it all the time at Fox?
- 21:16Speaker 5: But we have such a good time, Like it was
- 21:18Speaker 5: such a good hang obviously you kicked it off at
- 21:20Speaker 5: a phenomenal job so many laughs. Tossed it over to
- 21:24Speaker 5: Menty and you know what else and Menti was great
- 21:26Speaker 5: as he always is. And you know what was the
- 21:28Speaker 5: most pleasant surprise of it all is Brenda K.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Starr.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:32Speaker 5: I was goaded into singing God Bless America while we
- 21:35Speaker 5: ate dinner. It was like a weird dream, you know,
- 21:38Speaker 5: because it felt like a wedding rehearsal dinner. And we
- 21:41Speaker 5: all got up and gave it toast and Breasda sang.
- 21:45Speaker 8: But they didn't go through with the marriage.
- 21:46Speaker 2: So I guess that's good.
- 21:47Speaker 8: But what a night, huh.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it was very good. Thanks for doing that. That
- 21:51Speaker 2: was the sponsors love you? And how's it going nine
- 21:53Speaker 2: to midnight every night?
- 21:55Speaker 5: Yeah? I love that because that's those are my people.
- 21:58Speaker 5: I mean, if I wasn't on the radio nine to
- 21:59Speaker 5: midnight talking to people, I would have been driving them
- 22:02Speaker 5: around in a taxi talking to people. So if it's
- 22:06Speaker 5: the same audience, man, So that for me has been
- 22:08Speaker 5: a really good fun adjustment. And the one thing I
- 22:11Speaker 5: would tell you is when you get on the air
- 22:14Speaker 5: here specifically New York, and you know this from being
- 22:17Speaker 5: from being from here. There's a different energy to what
- 22:20Speaker 5: we do, and there's an authentic way of doing it.
- 22:23Speaker 5: You know, we kind of you know, we're a little
- 22:25Speaker 5: more plain spoken here than the rest of the country.
- 22:27Speaker 5: So I enjoy being able to do that communicate efficiently.
- 22:30Speaker 5: You now, in the rest of the country, Mark, if
- 22:32Speaker 5: someone asks how you're doing, they actually want to know
- 22:35Speaker 5: how you're doing, whereas in New York we answer for you.
- 22:39Speaker 5: We go how you doing?
- 22:40Speaker 8: Good?
- 22:40Speaker 5: Yeah, families, good kids. To take it away from it,
- 22:42Speaker 5: you know, it's fair. I love that. I love the
- 22:45Speaker 5: efficiency of New York communication. So it's it's been a dream.
- 22:48Speaker 8: Uh.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Jimmy Faylor breaking news Eric Adams will endorse Andrew Cuomo
- 22:52Speaker 2: from mayor. Is that a shock?
- 22:55Speaker 5: Oh? No, but that that's going to throw an additional
- 22:59Speaker 5: twelve voters into Cuomo column, all of which your bottle
- 23:04Speaker 5: service waitresses on the in the West Village. That's right,
- 23:07Speaker 5: they vote, They vote, these twelve matter.
- 23:10Speaker 8: Every vote counts.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Isn't that what they tell us.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Do you ever see a race like this where they
- 23:14Speaker 2: tell the actual Republican candidate he has to drop out,
- 23:17Speaker 2: get out of the races, you drop out.
- 23:19Speaker 5: It's an unpopular opinion right now. But it drives me
- 23:23Speaker 5: crazy that people are doing that the Curtis. It's like, guys, Cuomo,
- 23:28Speaker 5: don't ever you know you know this. Okay, Cuomo got
- 23:31Speaker 5: you know, people killed with his COVID strategy, lied about
- 23:34Speaker 5: it because he was negotiating a book deal, and then
- 23:37Speaker 5: got me tooed out of the mansion. Okay, if people
- 23:40Speaker 5: aren't voting for him, something tells me it has nothing
- 23:43Speaker 5: to do with the man in.
- 23:44Speaker 8: The red hat.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Okay, there is a Cuomo issue, and Clomo caused it.
- 23:49Speaker 5: And the idea that the Republicans are supposed to just
- 23:52Speaker 5: determine which Democrat ruins the city. I don't think it's
- 23:56Speaker 5: our job as a party. So yeah, I'm not on
- 23:59Speaker 5: board with Curtis dropping it.
- 24:00Speaker 8: How did the.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Republicans go from fight, fight, fight a year ago to surrender, surrender,
- 24:04Speaker 5: surrender a year later.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know if you saw the debate last night,
- 24:09Speaker 2: but do you think Clomo got some of that Joe
- 24:11Speaker 2: Biden injectioned juice or something. He was all pretty good.
- 24:14Speaker 2: He was fired up last night.
- 24:16Speaker 5: He was very animated. Apparently the deal fell through on
- 24:20Speaker 5: the house he's buying in Boca ratone, so he had
- 24:23Speaker 5: to make one last ditch effort to remain a citizen
- 24:25Speaker 5: in New York.
- 24:27Speaker 8: I guess I gotta try to win this thing. You
- 24:29Speaker 8: didn't like the.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Interest rate or something, but yeah, they jacked him up
- 24:33Speaker 5: and it looked did it reminded me of that State
- 24:35Speaker 5: of the Union where Biden screamed at us for an
- 24:36Speaker 5: hour and a half and if you remember, made the
- 24:39Speaker 5: sign language interpreter shrug at the end of Biden's State
- 24:43Speaker 5: of the Union. Mark, he goes for real, Mark, anyone
- 24:45Speaker 5: can google this. He goes, now's the time to choose
- 24:48Speaker 5: between unity and schmeging a hem and a hemna Like,
- 24:52Speaker 5: what's this happened? What the dose?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Faalis on every night nine to midnight on
- 24:58Speaker 2: w o R. Make sure you listen tonight nine o'clock.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Do you tell you what is the deal with this NBA?
- 25:04Speaker 2: FBI announced as an NBA gambling scandal? Have you ever
- 25:08Speaker 2: heard of such a thing betting on basketball?
- 25:11Speaker 5: Well, the betting on basketball has been out there, but
- 25:14Speaker 5: it sounds like these were fixed poker games. I mean,
- 25:17Speaker 5: you know, I'm listen. I'm a gambler. I ate a
- 25:19Speaker 5: chicken kebab in Times Square five minutes ago, Like I'm
- 25:22Speaker 5: a guy who rolls the dice, okay, But the point is,
- 25:26Speaker 5: it sounds like it was some heavily organized cheating in
- 25:30Speaker 5: high stakes poker games and a couple of NBA guys
- 25:33Speaker 5: were involved. But it speaks to my theory that once
- 25:36Speaker 5: they pumped all of this gambling into pro sports, it's
- 25:40Speaker 5: inevitable that guys are going to get popped because there's
- 25:42Speaker 5: too much cash flying around. You know, the guy of Cleveland,
- 25:45Speaker 5: Indians who's a pitcher who's banned for life right now
- 25:47Speaker 5: because of his involvement in fixing. And they don't have
- 25:51Speaker 5: to fix games anymore because there's so many other things
- 25:53Speaker 5: you can bet on. I'm like, Mark, you can bet
- 25:55Speaker 5: whether the national anthem is going to go longer than
- 25:57Speaker 5: ninety seconds. Like that's a real thing. So are you
- 26:00Speaker 5: telling me someone can't grease Brenda K. Starr to hold
- 26:04Speaker 5: the Home of the Brave for an extra eight second?
- 26:07Speaker 5: You know, of course you could, And that's I'm not
- 26:10Speaker 5: saying Brenda's got more integrity, but I know a lot
- 26:12Speaker 5: of people in Chopaz that would take the money.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Hey, this white house, they're tearing down the wall they're
- 26:19Speaker 2: going to build a magnificent ballroom. These left wing Democrats
- 26:23Speaker 2: screaming about desecration, are they crazy? What's wrong with them now?
- 26:28Speaker 5: Especially after you know the last five years of tearing
- 26:31Speaker 5: down statues and let's not forget, you know, because that
- 26:34Speaker 5: whole preserve our history argument. I'm like, you guys tore
- 26:36Speaker 5: down a Frederick Douglas statue. Okay. They also threw so
- 26:40Speaker 5: many rocks at the White House in Juna twenty twenty
- 26:42Speaker 5: they had to be up an additional barrier. Okay, So
- 26:45Speaker 5: this is not about the sanctity of.
- 26:46Speaker 2: The White House.
- 26:47Speaker 5: And everybody knows about the Obama renovation that actually costs
- 26:50Speaker 5: three hundred and seventy six million dollars and did you know,
- 26:53Speaker 5: build a taxpayer and not some Trump donors. So it's
- 26:57Speaker 5: all as you know, and I know this is just
- 26:59Speaker 5: like the performative outrage, but.
- 27:02Speaker 8: You know, suck it up.
- 27:03Speaker 5: Presidents do things. JFK put in a bowling lane, Nick,
- 27:06Speaker 5: excuse me, a pool, Nixon put in the bowling lane.
- 27:09Speaker 5: Clinton put in a stripper pole. You know, guys are
- 27:11Speaker 5: gonna leave their imprint. They're gonna leave their imprint.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but six months from now, you're gonna have a beautiful,
- 27:16Speaker 2: spectacular ballroom. These clips of these liberals screaming they're not
- 27:21Speaker 2: gonna they're not gonna hold up, well, are.
- 27:23Speaker 5: They No, because they're reacting to these images as if
- 27:27Speaker 5: he just left it that way. But he's just knock
- 27:31Speaker 5: down part of the White House and he's like, anyway,
- 27:34Speaker 5: happy Thursday, everybody off. You assume they're rebuilding it. That's
- 27:39Speaker 5: the point.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Well, you go, hey, make sure you listen to Jimmy
- 27:45Speaker 2: Fala nine to midnight every weeknight on seven to ten.
- 27:49Speaker 2: W O, Right, what he got tonight? Do you know yet?
- 27:52Speaker 5: Oh, it's a big one. Kennedy's going to be here,
- 27:54Speaker 5: Dave Landau's going to be here, and we may have
- 27:56Speaker 5: a special NBA guest we're working on now to talk
- 27:59Speaker 5: about this gam segment. Oh, has nothing to do with
- 28:02Speaker 5: the integrity of the league. I just got to find
- 28:04Speaker 5: out how to make some money off this stuff.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Also, he does the best late night show on TV.
- 28:09Speaker 2: It's Saturday nights at ten o'clock, Fox News Channel, Saturday
- 28:13Speaker 2: nights at ten and they're online. Right, people miss Saturday Night,
- 28:16Speaker 2: they can go watch it and always Yeah, and make
- 28:20Speaker 2: sure you listen to Night nine to midnight watch him
- 28:23Speaker 2: Saturday night ten o'clock Fox News Channel. Jimmy Fayal A
- 28:27Speaker 2: great job last night. Thanks for being with us.
- 28:29Speaker 7: Do you kill you the man? See if somebody take care. Yeah,
- 28:34Speaker 7: we have a lot of great sponsors. But like our
- 28:37Speaker 7: Top twenty five, it was a big dinner for them.
- 28:40Speaker 7: Jimmy Faylo is hysterical. It was a great night. We'll
- 28:46Speaker 7: wrap it up in a moment. Don't forget Buck and
- 28:48Speaker 7: Clay coming up at noon today. Then you got the
- 28:51Speaker 7: most listened to radio show in America. You got Sean
- 28:54Speaker 7: Hannity at three o'clock, Jesse Kelly at six, and then
- 28:57Speaker 7: as I said, nine to midnight every night. Now it's
- 29:00Speaker 7: Jimmy Fayla on seven to ten wor seven ten wors
- 29:06Speaker 7: Mark Simon, Well, this is just breaking.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Moments ago, Eric Adams will endorsed Andrew Cromo for mayor.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Now remember it was Eric Adams who not long ago,
- 29:19Speaker 2: just a few weeks ago, was called Cuomo a snake
- 29:23Speaker 2: and a liar. But who hasn't who hasn't called him that?
- 29:26Speaker 2: But Eric Adams, once bitter rival, will indorse Cuomo. He'll
- 29:31Speaker 2: make some sort of speech later today doing it. He'll
- 29:35Speaker 2: call on the black and brown community, he says, to
- 29:37Speaker 2: come together. You know, after the debate last night, Cuomo
- 29:42Speaker 2: had a good night. It was a good debate last night.
- 29:45Speaker 2: He suddenly he's been a terrible debater. He hasn't been
- 29:48Speaker 2: good in these debates. Suddenly had energy and he was
- 29:51Speaker 2: just yelling and screaming. It was good, I mean in
- 29:54Speaker 2: a good way.
- 29:54Speaker 3: You have never had a job, You've never accomplished anything.
- 29:59Speaker 3: There's no reason to believe you have any merit or qualification.
- 30:03Speaker 2: For the first time, Clomo was great in the debate.
- 30:05Speaker 2: He had fire, he had energy. Then he left the debate,
- 30:08Speaker 2: went to Madison Square Garden to sit with Eric Adams,
- 30:12Speaker 2: apparently to finalize the deal. Adams moments ago saying he
- 30:17Speaker 2: will endorse Andrew Cuomo. So we'll see, we'll see how
- 30:21Speaker 2: this changes things now. Of course, Eric Adams did not
- 30:25Speaker 2: have a lot of votes himself, but every little bit helps.
- 30:28Speaker 2: We'll see. We're out of time. I'll be back tomorrow
- 30:31Speaker 2: ten to noon. I'm here every weekday ten o'clock till noon,
- 30:35Speaker 2: or if you want to listen to any other time,
- 30:38Speaker 2: you could listen any time to the show, anytime day
- 30:40Speaker 2: or night. Just get the podcast if that's easier. I'll
- 30:43Speaker 2: see tomorrow at ten right here on seven to ten
- 30:46Speaker 2: wor
