- 0:05Speaker 1: Big Brother. Have you ever heard of the concept. It's
- 0:09Speaker 1: a conspiracy theory involving governmental surveillance of its people listening
- 0:14Speaker 1: in and watching. In a totalitarian society, there is no
- 0:18Speaker 1: hiding and there's no escaping. This, of course, is just
- 0:23Speaker 1: a conspiracy theory. Today, though, we are going to put
- 0:27Speaker 1: big Brother to the test. One man by the name
- 0:31Speaker 1: of Brian Schaeffer would be seen on security camera entering
- 0:35Speaker 1: a bar with his friends, but the security camera never
- 0:39Speaker 1: sees him leave, and no one has ever seen him since. Warning.
- 0:47Speaker 1: The following podcast contains graphic content and material intended for
- 0:52Speaker 1: a mature audience.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Listener discretion is advised.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Hey, how's it going.
- 1:16Speaker 2: My name's Ben and I'm Nicole and you're listening to Wicked.
- 1:20Speaker 1: And Grim true crime podcast. What's up?
- 1:25Speaker 2: Woo who? It sounds like this is gonna be a
- 1:27Speaker 2: doozy one.
- 1:28Speaker 1: You think so?
- 1:29Speaker 2: I think so?
- 1:30Speaker 1: What about it about it makes you say it's going
- 1:31Speaker 1: to be a doozy?
- 1:32Speaker 2: It already has my mind going a mile a minute.
- 1:35Speaker 1: We join the club, let's put it that way. Okay,
- 1:38Speaker 1: before we dive into details, So we got some stuff
- 1:40Speaker 1: to talk about. Of course, we're gonna start off with
- 1:43Speaker 1: our lovely patrons, shall we.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we have quite a few this week while we're
- 1:48Speaker 2: doing two weeks. So because the Q and A we
- 1:51Speaker 2: recorded early. We didn't think patrons on that one.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Yeah, because we usually record like hours before it's posted.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's our jam.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And that one was days before. So we are doing
- 2:03Speaker 1: some backtracking making sure we thank all are patrons who
- 2:05Speaker 1: signed up for the past two weeks. So those patrons
- 2:08Speaker 1: who signed up over to support us. There are Amanda Robertson,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Amanda Patchel, Alisha Melissa, Katie Long, Patricia Brimacombe, Laurie Allen,
- 2:20Speaker 1: Rayley Richards, Victoria Louther, Kathy Kay Timberly, and Jessa Smith.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I butchered most of your names, and
- 2:33Speaker 1: I'm sorry for that.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Well, that's just your charm. We got a good charm
- 2:37Speaker 2: for that.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Is it charm or is it just a curse?
- 2:40Speaker 2: I think you want to go with charm?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Oh, fair enough, I can't argue that.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Actually, some people, well somebe borno white, practice your pronunciation,
- 2:47Speaker 2: then some people are like, I love how you pronounced shit.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Well, it's who we are.
- 2:52Speaker 2: We do try. It's not like we're just not trying.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And people need to remember too, we're not a high
- 2:56Speaker 1: budget podcast. We're not a high production podcast, us in
- 3:00Speaker 1: our tiny home, right having fun. Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 2: But anyway, if you were one of those, or if
- 3:05Speaker 2: you're on our Patreon, thank you so much for your support.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Yes, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. And
- 3:10Speaker 1: if you are not a Patreon.
- 3:12Speaker 2: And you're just listening and hanging out.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You're here with us. We appreciate that just the same.
- 3:16Speaker 1: So thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Literally anyone that's hearing this, thank you.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. Oh did we say thank you?
- 3:24Speaker 2: I don't think we did. One more time? Thank you?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, So thank you so much for the patrons. We
- 3:30Speaker 1: did a Q and A last episode. That's why we
- 3:33Speaker 1: kind of got those two weeks to thank Nicole was
- 3:35Speaker 1: on vacation.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so what did everyone think of that Q and A?
- 3:38Speaker 1: It was fun.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I feel like that was super fun. We'd divulged some info,
- 3:42Speaker 2: we got through all the questions. There was a massive amount.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I think you guys might have learned a.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Couple of things about us, maybe a few things.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Heh. Yeah, so hopefully enjoyed it. It was fun doing
- 3:51Speaker 1: that and getting to get to know you guys a
- 3:53Speaker 1: little bit more on that that level, so hopefully it
- 3:55Speaker 1: was it was worth a listen for you.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and I went down to the Okanagan, So it
- 3:59Speaker 2: was for five nights, I think, visiting friends and a
- 4:03Speaker 2: bunch of family and spending some time at the lake,
- 4:06Speaker 2: floating in the water, which and swimming, and I love
- 4:10Speaker 2: swimming so fun and we don't we never do it here.
- 4:13Speaker 2: We never go swimming.
- 4:14Speaker 1: We're too busy and even if there is time, there's
- 4:16Speaker 1: too many mosquitos.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, or the water's cold, really cold. Well down there
- 4:21Speaker 2: it was a bit warmer. So welcome to Canada, A,
- 4:24Speaker 2: welcome to Northern BC A.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm definitely jealous. I didn't get to go
- 4:30Speaker 1: on vacation. I had to stay home, look after the
- 4:32Speaker 1: dog goes and work.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry about that.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's all good. But the nice thing about it though,
- 4:38Speaker 1: while you were on vacation, I got to take care
- 4:39Speaker 1: of the last few little details of the Wicked and
- 4:42Speaker 1: Graham giveaway for the Wicked Box, so that was cool.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And the final stage is all wrapped up and everything,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and we just did Instagram live tonight and we drew
- 4:53Speaker 1: our winter. Yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 2: It was very exciting.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so if you want to go see the live drawing.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I mean it's recorded now, it's you'll see it post,
- 5:01Speaker 1: but it is a unedited.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Live where we actually drew the name from a mason
- 5:08Speaker 2: jar full of pieces of paper. We went old school,
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah it's perfect, and.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Showed all the different things that are going to be
- 5:15Speaker 1: in the Wicked Box. So we showed it all, and
- 5:18Speaker 1: then we drew the name. And the name can I
- 5:20Speaker 1: get a drum roll? Was Sheila DEGANI I really hope
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm saying her name right. But Sheila is actually a
- 5:27Speaker 1: patron as well. She supports us over on Patreon. Super
- 5:30Speaker 1: awesome and made it through all the steps of the
- 5:33Speaker 1: way could giveaway, and those steps included figuring out secret passwords,
- 5:38Speaker 1: finding secret links in her website, figuring out Morse codes,
- 5:43Speaker 1: deciphering Caesar cipher codes, taking hints and clues, you name it.
- 5:47Speaker 1: She made it all the way through and then finally
- 5:50Speaker 1: was a draw.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Winner of the Wicked Boss and we had what forty
- 5:54Speaker 2: seven people that made it that far?
- 5:55Speaker 1: A total of forty seven people made it all the
- 5:57Speaker 1: way through.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Is mind blowing. I mean, I knew it would be fun,
- 6:00Speaker 2: and I knew a lot of people would be into it,
- 6:02Speaker 2: but I just didn't actually quite think it was a
- 6:04Speaker 2: lot to it. There was a lot to it.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we took a lot of time putting that
- 6:07Speaker 1: thing together.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, and so that many people that went about it
- 6:11Speaker 2: and had a blast like that was just awesome.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah. So thank you for Sheila and everyone else who
- 6:16Speaker 1: took part in it, whether you made it all the
- 6:17Speaker 1: way through or not, thank you for taking part and
- 6:20Speaker 1: enjoying it as much as we did alongside us.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say it was a success and that
- 6:25Speaker 2: we may have to do it again one day.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Definitely agree with that.
- 6:29Speaker 2: There we go.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, anything else we got to cover?
- 6:32Speaker 2: H I don't think so. No.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I got a black cat running around my feet right now.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, spooky we.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Are entering spooky season.
- 6:40Speaker 2: We are actually you're getting camped, like I literally just know. Well,
- 6:44Speaker 2: and it's already becoming a bit fall up here.
- 6:46Speaker 1: It is.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Leaves are starting to fall, which is wild, and.
- 6:50Speaker 1: If I'm being honest, I'm actually getting really excited for
- 6:53Speaker 1: fall mountain biking.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Are you well just less hot? Hey?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Less hot? That cold crisp air going through the fog,
- 6:59Speaker 1: the leaves on the tree rail, Hell's to the Yes.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's trying to be slippery though.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be so cool and looks so awesome.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Think of the gram, Yo, off of the Gram, off
- 7:08Speaker 1: the gram. That's why a mountain bike specifically for the.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Graham pretty much. And you have to have the best
- 7:13Speaker 2: of gear for that.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Right percent. Gotta look good. If you don't look good,
- 7:17Speaker 1: are you actually any good?
- 7:18Speaker 2: Are you actually a mountain biker?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Right about brands?
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Whatever, No, it's all about you rab what you got,
- 7:26Speaker 1: that's exactly so. Yeah, spooky seasons coming up. We're gonna
- 7:30Speaker 1: be doing some cool things for Halloween again this year,
- 7:32Speaker 1: so remember that. But that aside, are you ready to
- 7:35Speaker 1: get into the case today.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I'm totally ready.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You're totally ready for it.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I need to know what's going on here.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Well, heads up for anyone who doesn't like them. This
- 7:44Speaker 1: is an unsolved case. This is a mystery. So just
- 7:47Speaker 1: so you know this one, this is getting into rabbit holes,
- 7:51Speaker 1: this is getting into theories.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I love these ones, you love it, Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So buckle up. Our story takes place on April first
- 8:00Speaker 1: of two thousand and six, WOW, with a man by
- 8:02Speaker 1: the name of Brian Shaeffer O. Now, Brian was twenty
- 8:05Speaker 1: seven years old. He was born on February twenty fifth
- 8:08Speaker 1: of nineteen seventy nine. Brian grew up in Pickerton, a
- 8:13Speaker 1: suburb of outside of Columbus, Ohio. He had two younger brothers,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and he was the eldest son of Randy and Renee Shaeffer.
- 8:20Speaker 1: He graduated high school in nineteen ninety seven and from
- 8:23Speaker 1: there went on to pursue an impressive educational path at
- 8:27Speaker 1: Ohio State University or known as OSU.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Sounds like a good start.
- 8:32Speaker 1: There for six years, he worked his ass off until
- 8:35Speaker 1: he graduated with a degree in microbiology. Oh wow, definitely
- 8:39Speaker 1: a study that takes time, patience, skill, and smarts. Right, Yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 1: no kidding, Now, Brian clearly had all these things as
- 8:46Speaker 1: he pushed through it to come out proudly with that
- 8:48Speaker 1: degree in hand. This wasn't the end of his post
- 8:52Speaker 1: secondary career, though. Brian had more ambitions. Even still. He
- 8:57Speaker 1: would go on to begin his study at OSU or
- 9:00Speaker 1: the College of Medicine in two thousand and four to
- 9:03Speaker 1: eventually become a doctor.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Wow. Good for him, right, that's very impressive.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Set in the bar high.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so he also he must have been like, I
- 9:13Speaker 2: don't know, high achiever.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Smart, very smart, very high achiever. Yeah, and by this time, honestly,
- 9:19Speaker 1: Brian can quite literally be described as tall, dark, and handsome,
- 9:25Speaker 1: literally like full package for one hundred percent. He had
- 9:29Speaker 1: that like neatly kind of slash, messy brown hair, glowing
- 9:34Speaker 1: hazel eyes. He stood six foot two inches tall and
- 9:36Speaker 1: weighed approximately one hundred and sixty five pounds. He was
- 9:40Speaker 1: quite literally mister tall, dark and handsome, gorgeous glowing smile.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I mean, no, homo, but man, he's pretty just saying.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And had the resume to back him up really too, definitely.
- 9:52Speaker 1: So it wasn't long before you know, mister tall, dark
- 9:55Speaker 1: and handsome was able to find himself romantically involved. Alexis
- 10:01Speaker 1: Wagoner was also a medical student, and Alexis and Brian
- 10:06Speaker 1: or sorry Alexis was described on Brian's MySpace profile page
- 10:10Speaker 1: at the time as awesome and amazing.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Aw yeah, like that's how he described.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Her correct on his MySpace profon I love that. Gotta
- 10:19Speaker 1: love the MySpace days. Hey, yeah, takes us back.
- 10:21Speaker 2: It does take us back.
- 10:23Speaker 1: What like we need some some social media to kick
- 10:26Speaker 1: it up like that again, Remember like all the animations
- 10:28Speaker 1: you could have in your page your favorite song we playing,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you could change the colors and all this. Why don't
- 10:33Speaker 1: we have that?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Now?
- 10:34Speaker 1: Why can't you do that on Instagram or Facebook or anything? TikTok?
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yeah you can't really. Hey, you get all there's like
- 10:41Speaker 2: there's hardly anything that you can do to relate.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Well, you get a profile, you get a description, and
- 10:47Speaker 1: then whatever you post to your feed.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I mean that you can have on Instagram, you can
- 10:50Speaker 2: have like highlights and stuff.
- 10:52Speaker 1: But yeah, but that's still technically part of your.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Feed, right, Yeah, it still still look very like pristine
- 10:57Speaker 2: and you can't really make it your own.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it's got but like, everyone's profile is the same template.
- 11:04Speaker 1: The only way it's a different template is that blue
- 11:07Speaker 1: verified check mark, which even still is a part of
- 11:10Speaker 1: a template.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So what would music? Would you have? Larn when someone came.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Oh god, probably money for Nothing by Dire Straits. Yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 1: it's like one of my all time favorite songs. Come
- 11:21Speaker 1: on now, it's either going to be that or I'm
- 11:23Speaker 1: going to go like my pop punk skater days with
- 11:25Speaker 1: like some Avri Lavine, I don't know, some folloout boy
- 11:28Speaker 1: Billy tallon you know, love that stuff. There you go, Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 1: how about.
- 11:32Speaker 2: You I don't even know. I don't even know.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I would Well, if it was now, I would probably
- 11:38Speaker 2: have some like zen chill, like chill hot music for
- 11:42Speaker 2: right now. Back then, I'm not really sure.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough. Oh it'd probably be that theme song
- 11:47Speaker 1: from One Tree Hill, that's what you'd have.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Wow, thanks for just calling me out there.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You know I'm not wrong, you know I'm right.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I was actually obsessed with that and OC too. Actually,
- 11:58Speaker 2: OC is like on Netflix or something now I need
- 12:00Speaker 2: to rewatch ye, that'd be amazing.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Okay, Sorry, this this tangent aside, We digress. Alexis would
- 12:07Speaker 1: actually later describe Brian in an interview as well as brilliant, handsome, sweet,
- 12:12Speaker 1: loyal and caring.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, this is perfect. Well it's not perfect
- 12:16Speaker 2: because we're talking about it, but it sounds awesome so far.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Yeah, the love the two had for one another, it
- 12:21Speaker 1: was clear that like they loved each other. There was
- 12:24Speaker 1: no doubt about that, so much so that Alexis actually,
- 12:28Speaker 1: along with many of her families and friends, believe that
- 12:31Speaker 1: Brian was about to propose to her soon. Ooh now
- 12:35Speaker 1: where and how well? Why not? On the trip to
- 12:38Speaker 1: Miami that the two had booked together for spring break.
- 12:40Speaker 2: There you go, that sounds perfect.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Right, hitting up the beach or something. Yeah, now, especially
- 12:45Speaker 1: considering Brian loved tropical locations such as Miami. He loved
- 12:49Speaker 1: the beach. He was just like many of us, honestly,
- 12:52Speaker 1: who lived dreamed of living that good life on a beach,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you know, sand between your toes, the sound of the
- 12:57Speaker 1: ocean waves crashing in front of you. He'd dreamed of it,
- 13:00Speaker 1: he lived for it, and if I'm being completely transparent,
- 13:04Speaker 1: probably with a cold drink in your hand as well,
- 13:07Speaker 1: at least that's how I see it.
- 13:08Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean, that's living the life right there.
- 13:10Speaker 1: One hundred percent. So Brian may have been a really
- 13:14Speaker 1: good looking guy who was succeeding through his tough trials
- 13:17Speaker 1: becoming a doctor, but that didn't mean he was above
- 13:21Speaker 1: your average guy. He liked to relax, He liked that
- 13:24Speaker 1: lifestyle just like everybody else. In fact, he was a
- 13:28Speaker 1: little bit more like everyone else than we realize. He
- 13:31Speaker 1: would often dream of sitting back, relaxing and just playing
- 13:34Speaker 1: his guitar and doing that for his life. In fact,
- 13:37Speaker 1: he even told friends that despite of his decisions, to
- 13:40Speaker 1: pursue a medical career. His real ambitions was to start
- 13:43Speaker 1: a band playing music. Oh really, particularly following the same
- 13:47Speaker 1: sort of genre as Jimmy Buffett.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Huh.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And if you're not familiar with Jimmy Buffett and his music,
- 13:53Speaker 1: he is a singer slash songwriter entrepreneur. I should say
- 13:57Speaker 1: that too, because he's worth like millions. He would, you know,
- 14:03Speaker 1: tell tales of his long days in the beach and
- 14:05Speaker 1: the warm sun. That's how he would sing his songs,
- 14:08Speaker 1: followed of course by the cool evening drinks and good company. Right,
- 14:12Speaker 1: He's sorry, I lost my spot here. He's the artist
- 14:17Speaker 1: behind songs such as It's five o'clock somewhere, why don't
- 14:20Speaker 1: we get drunk? Hey, good looking, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and
- 14:25Speaker 1: Margueriteville awesome.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Those are like also.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Good, right, So those are the sort of songs that
- 14:30Speaker 1: he's listening to, and those are the sort of things
- 14:32Speaker 1: that he's kind of following the ambition of Jimmy Buffett
- 14:34Speaker 1: paints his picture and he loves this idea and this lifestyle.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So that is his dream. So Jimmy Buffett preaches this
- 14:43Speaker 1: easy life, so on so forth, and it is music
- 14:45Speaker 1: Brian's ears, but he also had other artists that he
- 14:47Speaker 1: had favorite songs of too. He also had Pearl Jam,
- 14:52Speaker 1: who was another favorite artist of his. In fact, he
- 14:54Speaker 1: even had the Pearl Jam logo tattooed on his upper
- 14:57Speaker 1: right arm.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Oh wow, Yeah, it's like serious fas Hey.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Definitely, and honestly, I can vouch for Brian. Both these
- 15:03Speaker 1: two artists are incredibly amazing artists. Very different style of music,
- 15:06Speaker 1: but they're both amazing. So back to Brian and alexis Tho,
- 15:11Speaker 1: not just the music. Before they could actually hit up
- 15:14Speaker 1: the beach in Miami, Miami and potentially get engaged, something
- 15:18Speaker 1: unexpected occurred. It was only a couple months before they
- 15:22Speaker 1: planned the trip. Brian was in his second year at OSU,
- 15:26Speaker 1: pursuing his career as a doctor, and in March of
- 15:29Speaker 1: two thousand and six, Brian's mother unexpectedly passed away.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Oh my goodness.
- 15:34Speaker 1: No, yeah, I'm going to butcher the type of what
- 15:39Speaker 1: she was diagnosed with here, but bear with me. I
- 15:41Speaker 1: did practice pronouncing this multiple times, but it didn't work
- 15:45Speaker 1: out anytime I tried. Here we go Mila d plesia,
- 15:51Speaker 1: mylad diplasia, myla diplasia. I thinks how it is.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I haven't even ever heard of that.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It's a type of cancer which immature blood cells in
- 15:59Speaker 1: the bone marrow do not mature and become healthy cells. Essentially, dang. Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 1: And Google describes early symptoms as typically none, but later
- 16:09Speaker 1: symptoms may include feeling tired, shortness of breath, bleeding, disorderas disorders, anemia,
- 16:16Speaker 1: or frequent infections. So tragic, honestly, And Google takes so
- 16:22Speaker 1: many people away. It's it's absolutely cancer or sorry, can't
- 16:25Speaker 1: think Google, Google, Sorry, sorry, I googled the symptoms.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I said that, right, So no, but it does, it is,
- 16:32Speaker 2: it's on.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Google takes so many lives.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I know. I was sorry to that, but yeah, no,
- 16:39Speaker 2: it honestly does. It's just like the worst, It's the worst.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah. So Brian's friends knew this was hard on him,
- 16:47Speaker 1: and it would be you know, for many people to realize, like,
- 16:50Speaker 1: it's not something that he was able to actually hide.
- 16:54Speaker 1: He tried, but it was pretty obvious to people if
- 16:56Speaker 1: they they looked at him, you know, they they see
- 16:59Speaker 1: he's tired, he's not quite who he used to be.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Right, Oh yeah, well, it's constantly on his mind. And
- 17:04Speaker 2: then the fact that she's not going to be there
- 17:07Speaker 2: when he grad graduates med school. That's a big deal exactly.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And Brian was close with his mother and his family,
- 17:12Speaker 1: so it would certainly be hard to witness to love
- 17:14Speaker 1: one suffering from something like this, right, And so his
- 17:17Speaker 1: friends knew it was hard on him, not because like
- 17:19Speaker 1: I said, he showed it or talked about it a lot.
- 17:21Speaker 1: They just knew from being good friends and seeing slight
- 17:23Speaker 1: changes in him. Yeah. So not to say that these
- 17:26Speaker 1: changes were, like I said, drastic, but Brian, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 1: did kind of become a bit of a different person,
- 17:31Speaker 1: all these subtle things, so kind of people kept their
- 17:33Speaker 1: eye out on him as best they could. So as such,
- 17:38Speaker 1: he tried not letting things get to him too much.
- 17:40Speaker 1: He pushed on, He didn't want to talk about his
- 17:42Speaker 1: troubles too much. He just kept trying to go on,
- 17:44Speaker 1: stay strong and continue with, you know, his pursuing medical career.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Now that brings us to Friday, March thirty. First, Brian's
- 17:52Speaker 1: classes at OSU came to an end for spring break,
- 17:56Speaker 1: and soon he'd be traveling to Miami with his girlfriend Alexis.
- 18:00Speaker 1: So this was drawing closer and Brian and his father
- 18:03Speaker 1: Randy went out to celebrate his current success of his
- 18:06Speaker 1: classes and the upcoming break by going out for a
- 18:09Speaker 1: steak dinner right on. So they enjoyed an early evening
- 18:12Speaker 1: together in each other's company and honestly probably reminiscing over
- 18:16Speaker 1: memories they shared of Brian's recently deceased.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Mother, because it was that month, that earlier that month
- 18:24Speaker 2: that the mom had passed away. It was in March, right,
- 18:26Speaker 2: you said, yes, okay, so yeah, really not that long ago.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's very very fresh. So Brian's father during
- 18:35Speaker 1: this dinner noted that Brian again didn't quite seem himself.
- 18:39Speaker 1: He seemed exhausted, and from conversations it most likely was
- 18:43Speaker 1: having pulling all nighters from earlier in the week, cramming
- 18:46Speaker 1: for upcoming exams, and again probably from the recent family stress.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Brian was also telling him that he had some other
- 18:53Speaker 1: plans that evening to go out with friends for some
- 18:55Speaker 1: celebrations too, but this didn't quite sit right with him.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Think Brian should be going out with friends. He should
- 19:02Speaker 1: probably be resting and catching up on his sleep. He
- 19:05Speaker 1: had some rough times recently, and now you know, it
- 19:08Speaker 1: was the perfect opportunity to close his eyes and recharge,
- 19:11Speaker 1: especially before his vacation.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah, his dad was looking out for him, he was.
- 19:15Speaker 2: That's some good advice right there.
- 19:17Speaker 1: However, he didn't actually say this out loud to his son.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Oh shit, Okay, I mean, after all, Brian is an adult.
- 19:25Speaker 1: He can make decisions for himself. He's twenty seven years old.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You know. He wasn't doing anything dangerous, he wasn't doing
- 19:31Speaker 1: anything reckless. So who's to say he can't go out
- 19:34Speaker 1: and spend some time with his friends before vacation. Yeah, right,
- 19:37Speaker 1: close decisions.
- 19:38Speaker 2: His dad had some great advice and he just kept
- 19:40Speaker 2: it to him and this is oh hate that.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So he did. He just kept his thoughts to himself
- 19:46Speaker 1: and just enjoyed the rest of his dinner with his
- 19:47Speaker 1: son before they went their separate ways. And unfortunately, this
- 19:52Speaker 1: would be the last time that he saw his son.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Dang. Okay, yep, I knew this was coming.
- 19:59Speaker 1: So after dinner with his father, Brian met up with
- 20:01Speaker 1: his friends William Clint Florence Clint. I'm not sure if
- 20:06Speaker 1: it's a legal name or a nickname. I'm pretty sure
- 20:08Speaker 1: it's a nickname.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So Clint was also a former roommate. They met up
- 20:14Speaker 1: at nine pm, and they started their night out by
- 20:16Speaker 1: heading to the Ugly Tuna Saluna. Whoa yeah, a bar
- 20:21Speaker 1: in South Campus Gateway Complex on the high streets of Columbus.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Sounds like quite the bar, right, love that name. Honestly,
- 20:29Speaker 1: I may have wrote it more in this podcast than
- 20:33Speaker 1: I should have, but I wrote it specifically because I
- 20:36Speaker 1: have fun saying them all. Oh so just saying that. So,
- 20:40Speaker 1: it was nothing new for the two of them to
- 20:41Speaker 1: go out for drinks together. They were good friends and
- 20:44Speaker 1: somewhat drinking buddies, if you will. It was just another
- 20:47Speaker 1: night out of two friends having a good time, as
- 20:49Speaker 1: simple as that. So at about ten pm, about an
- 20:54Speaker 1: hour after they arrived at the Ugly Tuna Saluna, Brian
- 20:59Speaker 1: gave his girlfriend Alexis a call, who would have just
- 21:03Speaker 1: returned to her home in Toledo, Ohio to visit her
- 21:06Speaker 1: family before the two of them went on their vacation
- 21:09Speaker 1: in Miami for spring break. Okay, so they talked in
- 21:12Speaker 1: the phone for a bit and they kind of reconvene
- 21:16Speaker 1: with their plan, and he told Alexis his evening plans,
- 21:19Speaker 1: you know, to go bar hopping with his friend and
- 21:21Speaker 1: they'd catch up on sleep and then in the next
- 21:24Speaker 1: couple of days they would meet up at the airport
- 21:26Speaker 1: on Monday in the morning to go proceed on their vacation.
- 21:30Speaker 1: As simple as that.
- 21:32Speaker 2: So he's planning ahead, he's.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Planning ahead, he's planning ahead, he's being responsible, he's talking
- 21:38Speaker 1: to her, he's making sure everyone everything's on the same page.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Nothing suspicious, not at all weird, just another night having
- 21:45Speaker 1: fun and everything's out in the open.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Just other than him being a bit tired, right, or
- 21:50Speaker 2: just exhausted.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Just overtired, overworked, whatever you want to say, But he's
- 21:54Speaker 1: definitely exhausted. It's a good way to put it. So
- 21:59Speaker 1: after the phone call, Brian and Clint began their bar hopping.
- 22:02Speaker 1: They left the Ugly Tuna Saluna after about four or
- 22:08Speaker 1: so shots together and began visiting several other bars and
- 22:11Speaker 1: working their way down the Arena district in Columbus. At
- 22:15Speaker 1: each stop, the two would have one shot together before
- 22:18Speaker 1: moving on to the next place. Sounds like a good night,
- 22:21Speaker 1: you know. That was actually yeah, binding different places, having
- 22:24Speaker 1: different drinks and moving on.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's actually kind of sounds super fun.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, although I can tell you right now my drinking
- 22:30Speaker 1: is not up to par they're at like five or
- 22:32Speaker 1: six shots by now or so. Yeah, I'm probably going
- 22:36Speaker 1: to call it a night at like, you know what,
- 22:38Speaker 1: it's eleven or so. I'm done.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Really good night, guys.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Pretty much, I can't hold it like I used to.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Let's say that we're getting all of it's okay.
- 22:47Speaker 1: So sometime after midnight, Brian and Clint met up with
- 22:51Speaker 1: Meredith Reid, a friend of Clint from the North Shore,
- 22:54Speaker 1: where she gave them a ride back to the Ugly
- 22:57Speaker 1: Tuna Saluna.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Oh that was our favorite one.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Yeah, right back to where the bar hopping began, and
- 23:02Speaker 1: she joined them for some more good times and their
- 23:04Speaker 1: last round of the evening at one fifteen pm. Okay, so,
- 23:09Speaker 1: once they arrived at one fifteen and they got inside, however,
- 23:13Speaker 1: Clint and Meredith quickly lost sight of Brian. Inside It's
- 23:17Speaker 1: a busy bar with lots of people all over the place,
- 23:19Speaker 1: so it wasn't anything out of the ordinary, especially since
- 23:22Speaker 1: there were two girls there that were friend of Clint's
- 23:25Speaker 1: and Brian began to struck strike up conversation with them,
- 23:28Speaker 1: so he was probably off making new friends having a
- 23:31Speaker 1: good time. After a while, though, the two began to
- 23:34Speaker 1: look for him, you know, trying to figure out where
- 23:36Speaker 1: he was, and they couldn't find him, so they began
- 23:40Speaker 1: to call him on his phone several times, but no answer. Again,
- 23:44Speaker 1: though it's not terribly weird. We're looking at like almost
- 23:46Speaker 1: two am in the morning, everyone's having lots of drinks.
- 23:49Speaker 1: He's probably distracted. It's probably super loud. I guarantee you,
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'm not going to be answering my phone.
- 23:55Speaker 2: I mean, he could have found someone in there that
- 23:57Speaker 2: he knew or something, but still like slightly alarming. I
- 24:00Speaker 2: think I would be starting to get a bit alarmed.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Well, I mean, you're in the same room, You're in
- 24:04Speaker 1: the same bar, right, Well, he's somewhere around here, right.
- 24:08Speaker 1: So at two am, forty five minutes after they arrived
- 24:11Speaker 1: at the bar, the bar would close. Clint and Meredith
- 24:15Speaker 1: quickly left the bar and waited outside patiently for Brian
- 24:18Speaker 1: to come out with the groups of patrons who were leaving.
- 24:22Speaker 1: So they were out there in advance, just moments before
- 24:25Speaker 1: everyone else flooded out, so they can watch and tryumph
- 24:28Speaker 1: come out, right, okay, So they looked into the crowds
- 24:32Speaker 1: of people passing through the exit door and making their
- 24:34Speaker 1: way down the sidewalks as they stumbled into the night.
- 24:37Speaker 1: With each new face they saw, they expected Brian's to
- 24:40Speaker 1: be the next one to follow, but he didn't. The
- 24:44Speaker 1: bar emptied out and Brian was nowhere to be found.
- 24:48Speaker 1: The two assumed Brian had probably left on his own accord,
- 24:51Speaker 1: quietly as not to disturb the rest of their evening.
- 24:54Speaker 1: After all, I'm sure many of us have actually been
- 24:56Speaker 1: in a position where we try to quietly leave a
- 24:58Speaker 1: social situation without being noticed.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Right, it's not abnormal, No, that's hotly fair. But I
- 25:04Speaker 2: mean they were spending the whole night together. You think
- 25:07Speaker 2: that he hasn't been like, okay, I'm off.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Well, they're thinking this must have been the case with Brian, though.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I mean, it was a long night. He had big
- 25:13Speaker 1: plans coming up, He had a lot of stress in
- 25:16Speaker 1: his shoulders.
- 25:17Speaker 2: He was already exhausted.
- 25:18Speaker 1: He was exhausted, his mamad recently passed away. His friends
- 25:22Speaker 1: are thinking he might be proposing to his girlfriend soon.
- 25:24Speaker 1: He's got a lot going on that he's not expressing
- 25:27Speaker 1: out loud. Right, Maybe he's he was done, He just
- 25:30Speaker 1: wanted to back off and not disturb their night.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Yeah, because he might have didn't want them to feel
- 25:35Speaker 2: bad like they had to leave as well or exactly.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so they decided, you know what, he probably left
- 25:39Speaker 1: not wanting to bother anyone, maybe wants to be alone,
- 25:42Speaker 1: so we're not going to bother him either, and they
- 25:44Speaker 1: kind of went on their way, assuming he just went
- 25:46Speaker 1: to his home apartment. And that's that.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I don't love that though. I'm not loving this.
- 25:52Speaker 1: What about it? Aren't you loving?
- 25:54Speaker 2: Well? I mean, because like what happens if he was
- 25:56Speaker 2: actually danger Like, I don't know if I would be
- 25:59Speaker 2: able to just be I go like justify in my
- 26:02Speaker 2: head they're fine whatever, Like I feel like I would
- 26:04Speaker 2: need to go and check on them and know before
- 26:07Speaker 2: I went to sleep. Kind of thing.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Fair enough. Well, the next morning came Saturday morning, and
- 26:13Speaker 1: both Alexis and Brian's father couldn't get a hold of them.
- 26:17Speaker 1: They tried phoning them and they both didn't have success.
- 26:21Speaker 1: So Saturday morning had came and it also passed, was
- 26:24Speaker 1: still no word from them. Sunday came and Alexis began
- 26:28Speaker 1: to get worried. Well, yeah, this wasn't like Brian. She's
- 26:32Speaker 1: always able to get a hold of them. They're trying
- 26:35Speaker 1: to make plans for Miami.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Though they're meeting like the next day at that point.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, though, to be fair, the plans are already laid out.
- 26:42Speaker 1: But I mean they're excited. They're probably going to be
- 26:43Speaker 1: talking about it. Oh what are you packing or whatever?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Who knows.
- 26:46Speaker 2: They probably chatted almost every day or a few times
- 26:48Speaker 2: a day, I would assume.
- 26:49Speaker 1: So. So eventually Monday morning rolled around. Oh boy, the
- 26:56Speaker 1: day where they are scheduled to leave with their vacation
- 26:59Speaker 1: in Miami. At the airport, Brian was nowhere to be found.
- 27:03Speaker 2: He didn't show up, He missed his flight.
- 27:06Speaker 1: And this was the last straw. Brian was officially reported
- 27:10Speaker 1: missing and the investigation would begin. Police would be baffled,
- 27:15Speaker 1: and Brian would, as of recording this podcast never be
- 27:20Speaker 1: seen again. Day.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I just don't like this. I'm actually
- 27:26Speaker 2: surprised that when that far. I mean, I get that
- 27:29Speaker 2: Monday would be you're missing your flight, Okay, yeah, final
- 27:32Speaker 2: straw thing, But I mean even Sunday, I think.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Well, put it into this perspective. He was out till
- 27:38Speaker 1: two am Saturday morning. He's got a lot of stress
- 27:41Speaker 1: on him. He's probably going to be super hungover. Saturday
- 27:44Speaker 1: is probably a write off. True, So maybe he's passed out,
- 27:48Speaker 1: super hungover for the entire day. Give him space Saturday. Okay, Okay,
- 27:52Speaker 1: so Sunday could theoretically be when the concerns really start. Oh,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I haven't heard from him. Maybe where is he? Right?
- 28:00Speaker 1: So Sunday could theoretically be the first day concerns start,
- 28:05Speaker 1: and then Monday morning misses his flight. Yeah, something's wrong.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Yeah, well, definitely something's wrong at that point, but I
- 28:13Speaker 2: would be pretty darn concerned prior to.
- 28:17Speaker 1: So in the coming weeks, Alexis would visit Brian's apartment
- 28:21Speaker 1: over and over again, and she admittedly sobbed into his bed,
- 28:26Speaker 1: hoping and wishing he would just show up and just
- 28:29Speaker 1: walk through that door. But he wouldn't.
- 28:33Speaker 2: My heart just sunk. Yeap when you said that there was.
- 28:38Speaker 1: No sign of him. The only thing police found regarding Brian,
- 28:44Speaker 1: sorry stumbled that sense that was a weird sentence. The
- 28:46Speaker 1: only thing police found regarding Brian during their investigation was
- 28:50Speaker 1: video surveillance footage at the Ugly Tuna Saluna the night
- 28:55Speaker 1: of his disappearance. Okay, So the security surveillance footage, which
- 29:00Speaker 1: is available online. By the way, you can go take
- 29:03Speaker 1: a look yeap. It shows Brian, Clint, and Meredith entering
- 29:07Speaker 1: the bar at one fifteen am via a set of escalators. Okay,
- 29:12Speaker 1: so it goes up onto the.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Second floor, so let's say a kind of a big bar.
- 29:16Speaker 1: It's definitely a big bar. So Brian is seen casually
- 29:20Speaker 1: leaning on the side of the escalators as they're going
- 29:22Speaker 1: up and they enter the bar. Then at about one
- 29:26Speaker 1: point fifty five am, five minutes before closing time, so
- 29:31Speaker 1: five minutes before the bar is closed, he is seen
- 29:34Speaker 1: again by the top of the escalators, happily talking to
- 29:38Speaker 1: two of Clint's friends, those two prior ones that we mention. Yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 1: and only a few feet away stands a couple of
- 29:44Speaker 1: security guards. They do not look alerted or anything looks suspicious,
- 29:48Speaker 1: so clearly there's no cause for alarm, at least at
- 29:51Speaker 1: this stage.
- 29:51Speaker 2: So this is five minutes before the bar is closing,
- 29:54Speaker 2: and there's he's seen, but no issues or nothing.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Correct.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Now, at the end of this clip, at one five AM,
- 30:03Speaker 1: Brian walks off screen back into the direction of the bar.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I mean, you can't guarantee he's back into the bar specifically,
- 30:09Speaker 1: but I mean he's he's going in the bar. There's
- 30:11Speaker 1: not really anywhere else to go, so it's he's going
- 30:14Speaker 1: in the bar. And after that, Brian is never seen
- 30:19Speaker 1: exiting the bar. The video shows him enter, but it
- 30:22Speaker 1: never shows him leave.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Okay, well, there is there video cover or cameras on
- 30:30Speaker 2: every single exit of that bar, though.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Let's get into that. Okay, So there are two entrances
- 30:37Speaker 1: slash exits in the bar, both which are fully covered
- 30:42Speaker 1: by surveillance. One of the entrances has the escalators heading
- 30:47Speaker 1: down to the main floor from the second floor, and
- 30:51Speaker 1: this is where the camera saw Brian twice, the ones
- 30:53Speaker 1: where we just previously talked about and this, and then
- 30:57Speaker 1: there's the second one that's also covered with security camera.
- 31:00Speaker 1: So after that, there is also a high balcony overlooking
- 31:03Speaker 1: the street below from the second story that is not
- 31:06Speaker 1: covered by security cameras. Now, it is a possible exit route,
- 31:12Speaker 1: but unlikely, especially for someone who would be quite intoxicated.
- 31:17Speaker 2: You have to be climbing down.
- 31:19Speaker 1: He probably wouldn't have climbed. I don't think climbing is
- 31:22Speaker 1: really an option. I think it's leaping, and someone leaping
- 31:25Speaker 1: from a second story building, as intoxicated as he would
- 31:27Speaker 1: have been, he is going to get severely injured.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yes, so that's.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Almost a rite off.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Finally, there is one more exit that is not covered
- 31:39Speaker 1: by cameras, a back service door. Now to exit through here,
- 31:44Speaker 1: you must exit the bar, but stay inside the building.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Then you need to use an elevator and some backstairs
- 31:50Speaker 1: in a kind of like a fire escape type fashion,
- 31:53Speaker 1: but enclosed in the building. You know, like those emergency
- 31:56Speaker 1: stairs that are on the outside of buildings. Oh yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 1: but not the ones outside. It's like the last internal hallway,
- 32:03Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 32:04Speaker 2: No, I have no idea.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Do you know if fire escape stairs that are like
- 32:06Speaker 1: typically on the outside of the buildings, I imagine that,
- 32:09Speaker 1: except it's just inside, okay, kind of like stairs like that. Okay,
- 32:13Speaker 1: So you need to go down an elevator and a
- 32:15Speaker 1: set of those to get to the main floor where
- 32:17Speaker 1: you exit through a service door. And this service door
- 32:21Speaker 1: goes into an industrial area which is at the time
- 32:25Speaker 1: under very heavy construction.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:29Speaker 1: So the lead investigator on this even said navigating this
- 32:33Speaker 1: area sober would not be easy and it's dark. Yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 1: let alone and ibriated.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Huh. But then I mean if he did that, then
- 32:42Speaker 2: I'm assuming like his body would be found kind of thing,
- 32:44Speaker 2: you know, and.
- 32:46Speaker 1: We'll touch on some of that, but yeah, the questions
- 32:49Speaker 1: do you come up like was this his exit? Was
- 32:52Speaker 1: this how we leave the bar? And if so, why
- 32:54Speaker 1: and what happened to him afterwards? So there have been
- 32:59Speaker 1: no signs of him since that night. The bar was
- 33:01Speaker 1: turned upside down inside out, but.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Nothing I could imagine it was. I'm actually very shocked
- 33:07Speaker 2: that I assumed that he wouldn't have been seen after
- 33:11Speaker 2: entering at like one p fifteen, So I'm very surprised
- 33:13Speaker 2: that there was footage of him at one fifty five.
- 33:17Speaker 2: And also if I don't wonder how many people were
- 33:19Speaker 2: leaving at two, like maybe he literally just couldn't be
- 33:23Speaker 2: seen on the footage.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Yep, I'm going to touch on pretty much everything you're saying.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Oh K, sorry, no, no, it's totally fine. Get all
- 33:30Speaker 1: these thoughts out. I'm just not going to respond.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I have those pillion thoughts going on.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I'm just OK, let's hit me with some because, like
- 33:36Speaker 1: I say, I'll just tell you if it's coming or
- 33:38Speaker 1: we can talk about it now.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I just very much so think it's a high possibility
- 33:44Speaker 2: that he could have exited the bar without being seen.
- 33:48Speaker 2: In my opinion, Okay, that is what I think would
- 33:51Speaker 2: have happened.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Okay, hold on to that theory. We will come back
- 33:55Speaker 1: to it.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, sounds good.
- 33:57Speaker 1: So like I was saying, that the bar was turned
- 33:59Speaker 1: upside down, side out, there was even no purchases made
- 34:02Speaker 1: in his credit card, no cell phone usage after that,
- 34:06Speaker 1: no passport activity. Nothing was simply vanished. And now this
- 34:12Speaker 1: is where theories begin. So first and foremost the main theory,
- 34:17Speaker 1: of course, some sort of altercation. This theory says, somewhere
- 34:21Speaker 1: along the night or somewhere somehow Brian ran into some
- 34:24Speaker 1: unruly people, whether it be on the streets or in
- 34:27Speaker 1: the ugly tuna saluna, another bar, maybe someone from past
- 34:31Speaker 1: who knows, some sort of individual with some sort of
- 34:34Speaker 1: altercation occurred. Now somewhere inside the bar is where things
- 34:39Speaker 1: went wrong. Now with that, there more theories can be
- 34:44Speaker 1: generated as what could happen to remains of an individual
- 34:47Speaker 1: if this were to happen, were remains removed secretly left
- 34:51Speaker 1: inside the bar? How were they disposed of that sort
- 34:54Speaker 1: of thing? So that's a whole other can of theories.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I'm not going to dive into those unless you have
- 35:00Speaker 1: one you specifically want to talk about, well.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Because I imagine, I mean, he wasn't a report missing
- 35:04Speaker 2: until Monday, so I mean there would have been time
- 35:06Speaker 2: to dispose of something, I suppose. But then also if
- 35:10Speaker 2: he was chatting with those girls at one fifty five,
- 35:14Speaker 2: would they is it come up at all if they
- 35:16Speaker 2: say if that he was agitated or something anything was wrong.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I have nothing from those two girls know, but there
- 35:25Speaker 1: is something about maybe an altercation minor altercation that we'll
- 35:33Speaker 1: talk about here.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Shortly, okay, because I just feel like those that conversation
- 35:37Speaker 2: that he was having could be a big piece of
- 35:39Speaker 2: this puzzle.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Potentially could be. But again, though the security camera, he
- 35:43Speaker 1: was completely fine. Security footage of him next two security
- 35:48Speaker 1: guards who are completely casual, not alerted to anything.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Yeah, but who knows what he was saying to that.
- 35:53Speaker 1: That's true. That's true. So next theory the construction site exit.
- 36:00Speaker 1: So some argue he did exit out that back door
- 36:03Speaker 1: to the construction site. While there he stumbled around drunk
- 36:07Speaker 1: and maybe got caught in equipment or of something like that,
- 36:10Speaker 1: or maybe he fell into a pit and there maybe
- 36:13Speaker 1: he laid past out or maybe even deceased. Then in
- 36:18Speaker 1: the waking hours of the morning, construction workers would begin
- 36:21Speaker 1: their shift. Maybe the first task of the day was
- 36:24Speaker 1: to pour fresh concrete into a hole, a hole that
- 36:28Speaker 1: may now be Brian's unwilling grave.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah, before you went there, I went there. Wow, that
- 36:35Speaker 2: is I mean, I just think you would see the body, but.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Most likely, most likely. However, I do want to point
- 36:45Speaker 1: this out. The construction site also had security cameras, and
- 36:50Speaker 1: though none were pointed at the exit door specifically, there
- 36:53Speaker 1: were very few options to get through the construction site
- 36:57Speaker 1: without getting caught on camera. And yet Brian was still
- 37:00Speaker 1: not seen.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, So then I don't think that's necessarily what
- 37:05Speaker 2: happened at all.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Next theory, Brian skipped town.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Yep.
- 37:12Speaker 1: So we know that Brian dreamed of a different life.
- 37:14Speaker 1: You know, it was one that he was going down
- 37:16Speaker 1: a different path in real life, and he had this
- 37:18Speaker 1: idea of something else, and he wasn't shy of talking
- 37:21Speaker 1: about this. It something he spoke openly with friends. You know.
- 37:24Speaker 1: We wanted to be a singer, start a band and
- 37:26Speaker 1: go play on beaches and live that kind of bohemian
- 37:30Speaker 1: life that Jimmy Buffett sings about. Sort of thing. Now,
- 37:36Speaker 1: It wasn't that he didn't love Alexis or the idea
- 37:39Speaker 1: of becoming a doctor. It just that he really loved
- 37:41Speaker 1: the beach life, the music life. So did he skip town,
- 37:46Speaker 1: leave another country, or leave to another country for his dreams? Now?
- 37:51Speaker 1: I can't speak on that per se, But what I
- 37:53Speaker 1: can say with this theory in twenty twenty two, there
- 37:57Speaker 1: is something that came up and I can't talk about
- 37:59Speaker 1: this without men this sorry twenty twenty So in twenty
- 38:03Speaker 1: twenty a photo of an alleged homeless American in Tijuana,
- 38:06Speaker 1: Mexico began making its rounds on the Internet. This homeless
- 38:11Speaker 1: man just so happens to look a lot like Brian Schaeffer.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Seriously, hey, a lot like Brian. Because yeah, I'm like,
- 38:21Speaker 2: I don't know if this idea is super far fetched
- 38:23Speaker 2: and I can talk more why I think that, but
- 38:25Speaker 2: like really so.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Internet sleuths, of course immediately gravitated toward the idea. Yeah yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and they pointed out the similarities and everything, and they
- 38:36Speaker 1: began making tips to authorities. However, the FBI have reportedly
- 38:42Speaker 1: run facial recognition software on the photo of the alleged
- 38:45Speaker 1: homeless individual and compared it to photographs of Brian, and
- 38:49Speaker 1: they did not get a match. And I do want
- 38:52Speaker 1: to point out that the photograph of this apparent homeless individual,
- 38:57Speaker 1: it's not a super low quality image either. It's it's
- 39:00Speaker 1: not super grainy and pixelated. It's a fairly decent photograph.
- 39:06Speaker 1: So I also want to point out, is this one
- 39:10Speaker 1: hundred percent guarantee?
- 39:12Speaker 2: I don't know, No, I mean, I think you'd almost
- 39:14Speaker 2: have to chat with this person.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not certain on what program they use. I'm
- 39:19Speaker 1: not certain on the capabilities or the reliabilities of said program.
- 39:22Speaker 1: And honestly, I'm not certain if this test was actually
- 39:25Speaker 1: run hum but apparently it happened, and apparently it did
- 39:31Speaker 1: not come back as a match.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I mean, they say there's people that look like you
- 39:36Speaker 2: right all around the world and stuff. But then I'm
- 39:40Speaker 2: surprised that they didn't try to hunt them this person
- 39:43Speaker 2: down at least and have a conversation.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Yeah, who knows, right, So anyways, that aside, continuing on
- 39:51Speaker 1: the whole skip town theory, This skipping town suggests that
- 39:56Speaker 1: Brian would have, as you were talking about, snuck out
- 39:58Speaker 1: of the bar somehow, right, So some argue perhaps he
- 40:02Speaker 1: changed clothes. This was planned so changed clothes or threw
- 40:05Speaker 1: on a hat and hid his identity. And this could
- 40:09Speaker 1: be a possibility. It's a very big possibility except for
- 40:13Speaker 1: one detail. Authorities were able to positively identify every single
- 40:22Speaker 1: individual on camera who left the Ugly Tuna that night,
- 40:26Speaker 1: really positive ID on every single person. They did not
- 40:32Speaker 1: find Brian leave.
- 40:34Speaker 2: And there's no way that he could have been in
- 40:38Speaker 2: that crowd.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Correct. They had a positive ID on everyone.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Wow.
- 40:45Speaker 1: And I don't know how they got a positive ID.
- 40:48Speaker 1: My assumption is a lot of bars do like ID
- 40:50Speaker 1: scans when you go in, and especially for bigger bars
- 40:54Speaker 1: like this, they would have had that technology back in
- 40:56Speaker 1: two thousand and six, so they probably reference those IDs
- 41:01Speaker 1: with the security camera and was able to identify everybody.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and who knows how many people were still there
- 41:06Speaker 2: at two in the morning too, right, Not everyone stays
- 41:09Speaker 2: till the bitter end like that.
- 41:11Speaker 1: So maybe you got fifty to one hundred people to
- 41:13Speaker 1: identify with a list that the bar provides you. I'm
- 41:16Speaker 1: pretty sure it's going to be pretty easy.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Wow, Okay, huh huh okay. That is interesting to me.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Mm hm, So where's your head at?
- 41:29Speaker 2: I don't know, I really feel like the skipping town
- 41:33Speaker 2: thing is not far fetched because he was going through
- 41:37Speaker 2: a lot and having like a ginormous loss like that
- 41:41Speaker 2: of his mom can change the way you're thinking and
- 41:46Speaker 2: how you want the trajectory of your life to go.
- 41:50Speaker 2: And also the combination of alcohol and if your mental
- 41:53Speaker 2: health isn't completely great, cannot always be like the best combination. Yeah,
- 41:58Speaker 2: and maybe just been like no, I'm I'm going to
- 42:02Speaker 2: just change my life here.
- 42:03Speaker 1: That's true. So the security cameras are so hard to
- 42:06Speaker 1: get by though. Something else though, Not only security cameras
- 42:11Speaker 1: at this bar, security cameras at the construction site, but
- 42:14Speaker 1: others surrounding businesses also provided security cameras. Other bars, other businesses,
- 42:21Speaker 1: and this area had an absurd amount of security cameras. Reportedly,
- 42:26Speaker 1: this area had more security cameras than three or so
- 42:30Speaker 1: other cities in the area surrounding them combined, and he
- 42:34Speaker 1: was not spotted on any of the footage provided.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Okay, well, I don't know because I can't imagine that.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I mean, there's more theories. You're gonna have more theories
- 42:45Speaker 2: for us here. How on earth could he be still
- 42:47Speaker 2: in the bar?
- 42:48Speaker 1: That's pretty much the theories. I mean you can go
- 42:50Speaker 1: down some smaller rabbit holes. And like I said, when
- 42:52Speaker 1: it comes down to say, for example, the first theory
- 42:54Speaker 1: with the altercation, say he did get murdered inside the bar, Okay,
- 43:00Speaker 1: how does his remains now leave the box? Because that
- 43:03Speaker 1: opens up a whole new door.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Does anyone care? I mean, they would have looked at
- 43:07Speaker 2: that in the footage when it was anyone carrying anything
- 43:09Speaker 2: suspicious out of the freaking bar.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Yeah, they would have been looking for that, and they
- 43:13Speaker 1: found nothing. They did. I'm sure they did DNA testing
- 43:17Speaker 1: and stuff on things like the kitchen and found nothing.
- 43:20Speaker 1: They found nothing.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Something was missed one hundred percent something.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Of course, something was missed. But they looked and they looked,
- 43:29Speaker 1: and they keep coming up with nothing. So what are
- 43:31Speaker 1: they missing? That's the question. How does someone just disappear?
- 43:37Speaker 2: I don't know, I freaking I just like you do
- 43:41Speaker 2: this to us too often, then you really do. So
- 43:46Speaker 2: there are some.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Other theories, like I said, some smaller rabbit holes. I'm
- 43:48Speaker 1: gonna throw a couple of them out there. Of course,
- 43:50Speaker 1: there's abduction theories, alien abduction or whatever. Right, Wow, entering
- 43:56Speaker 1: a parallel universe of sorts, we have that sort of
- 43:58Speaker 1: stuff that's becoming more and more prominent with theories these days,
- 44:01Speaker 1: with parallel universes. Who knows what sort of strange anomaly
- 44:07Speaker 1: could occurred for someone to just disappear. There are videos
- 44:10Speaker 1: on the Internet of supposedly people just disappearing into thin air.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Oh wow, supposedly, whether it's just illusion, camera tricks, fakes
- 44:22Speaker 1: or whatever, there are videos out there. I've seen some
- 44:25Speaker 1: myself that they kind of correlate to this case, saying, well,
- 44:28Speaker 1: look at this person disappeared, The same thing could have
- 44:30Speaker 1: happened to Brian. Whereas that person doesn't disappear, They just
- 44:34Speaker 1: happen to walk in the same direction as a person
- 44:35Speaker 1: who passes in front of them, and it's just kind
- 44:37Speaker 1: of a trick of the eye sort of thing. Yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 1: but that's not to say that it's not a possibility.
- 44:43Speaker 1: So anyways, there are many other theories which are much
- 44:47Speaker 1: finer rabbit holes than the possibility of it being a
- 44:51Speaker 1: reality is a lot slimmer. But I did want to
- 44:55Speaker 1: leave this whole episode off on some final notes here,
- 44:59Speaker 1: Meredith Clint, where, of course, the first people that the
- 45:03Speaker 1: police interviewed following Brand's disappearance usually it's you know, your
- 45:07Speaker 1: significant other. However, Alexis had an alibi. She was out
- 45:11Speaker 1: of town with her family. It's just pointing that out.
- 45:14Speaker 1: So Meredith and Clint were, of course the first two
- 45:16Speaker 1: people that they went to. Now the two were with
- 45:19Speaker 1: him most of the night, and they made multiple attempts
- 45:22Speaker 1: to call him and contact him and find him at
- 45:25Speaker 1: the Ugly Tuna Saluna love that.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, someone needs to count how many times been
- 45:32Speaker 2: oh God said that this episode. I feel like it's
- 45:34Speaker 2: probably like about ten.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Meredith would actually volunteer and take will not volunteer. She
- 45:41Speaker 1: was asked to, and she agreed to take a polygraph
- 45:44Speaker 1: test about a month after the incident to rule her
- 45:47Speaker 1: out as a suspect, and she agreed and passed. Clint, however,
- 45:52Speaker 1: lawyered up pretty quick really, and he reportedly refused to
- 45:56Speaker 1: take the polygraph.
- 45:58Speaker 2: I mean, that's not and that's not a I'm guilty
- 46:02Speaker 2: for sure thing. No, I don't think a lot of
- 46:04Speaker 2: people I think would turn that down.
- 46:07Speaker 1: It's very very possible. So he has also reportedly been
- 46:14Speaker 1: quite abrasive and elusive regarding the disappearance of his friend
- 46:17Speaker 1: Brian ever since.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Well, he was probably very intoxicated.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Yeah, in two thousand and nine emails to reporters, Clint wrote, quote,
- 46:27Speaker 1: any and all questions you have for me should be
- 46:31Speaker 1: directed to my attorney, Neil Rosenberg.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 46:35Speaker 1: It has also been reported that Brian and Clint actually
- 46:39Speaker 1: got in a bit of an argument at the Ugly
- 46:41Speaker 1: Tuna Saluna that night, and some actually speculate that Clint
- 46:47Speaker 1: may have been involved in a plan with Brian, a
- 46:52Speaker 1: plan where he intended to skip down.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Okay, because I did find it very odd that the
- 46:58Speaker 2: whole time there that they weren't really hanging out. I mean,
- 47:01Speaker 2: I know that the woman joined them, I forget her name,
- 47:04Speaker 2: Meredith or something. Yes, Meredith joined so maybe Clinton them
- 47:10Speaker 2: her had a thing or who knows, But they had
- 47:12Speaker 2: spent the whole night, So it was weird to me
- 47:14Speaker 2: while you're telling this that they hadn't spent that much
- 47:17Speaker 2: time at the last bar.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Well, they showed up forty five minutes before it closed, right, Yeah,
- 47:24Speaker 1: we'd all go in forty five minutes together, and then
- 47:27Speaker 1: at some point he disappears into the crowd, but is
- 47:30Speaker 1: seen on camera five minutes before closing.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Okay, so you think he may have had a plan
- 47:36Speaker 2: and Clint was involved.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I'm not saying I think, but I'm saying it is
- 47:40Speaker 1: the theory.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Now, in some interviews, Brian's brother Derek would go on
- 47:46Speaker 1: and say something seems off with Clint, stating, quote the
- 47:53Speaker 1: way he talked about my brother after we went missing,
- 47:57Speaker 1: kind of in a negative way. I wouldn't expect that
- 48:00Speaker 1: from someone whose friend vanished.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Huh. Well, yeah, because you think that you would literally
- 48:06Speaker 2: be trying to do everything you could, Yeah, especially try
- 48:11Speaker 2: to solve and help this like I'm the last person
- 48:13Speaker 2: with this man, Like, oh my god, let's find him,
- 48:16Speaker 2: Like we gotta get going.
- 48:17Speaker 1: You could literally hold the key to finding your best friend. Yeah,
- 48:21Speaker 1: and you shut up and lawyer up. I mean, I
- 48:24Speaker 1: sure understand you are a prime suspect. Lawyering up, I
- 48:26Speaker 1: get that, But being unwilling to help you know what
- 48:29Speaker 1: I mean?
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah, But I mean if you were very willing and
- 48:34Speaker 2: giving all the information, literally everything you knew, you wouldn't
- 48:37Speaker 2: necessarily have to just lawyer up.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Yeah, if you have nothing to hide.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Holy.
- 48:42Speaker 1: So Derek would continue on in his interview with the
- 48:45Speaker 1: subject and mention that he and his family deserve to
- 48:48Speaker 1: know any information Clint may have, if any regarding Brian's disappearance.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Absolutely they do.
- 48:55Speaker 1: To this day, Clint has said nothing further, There's no
- 48:59Speaker 1: more evidence regarding Brand's disappearance. Nothing has been found, and
- 49:03Speaker 1: nothing has even come close to proving anything. Brian simply disappeared.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Cameras never saw him exit the bar, and he's never
- 49:13Speaker 1: been seen since.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Wow. But I mean, and I'm sure that they examined
- 49:20Speaker 2: Clinton leaving too, Like what on earth? Holy?
- 49:26Speaker 1: Yeah? See, when I dove into this episode, I thought
- 49:30Speaker 1: the same sort of thing. He probably got lost in
- 49:32Speaker 1: the crowd. They just didn't see. But the fact that
- 49:34Speaker 1: there is so many security cameras, not just the ones
- 49:37Speaker 1: at the bar exit, there is the security cameras for
- 49:40Speaker 1: the bar, the construction site, the surrounding business. And they
- 49:44Speaker 1: positive they had positive identification for every single person caught
- 49:49Speaker 1: on camera leaving the bar, and none of them were Brian.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Okay, so what do you think?
- 49:56Speaker 1: I have no fuck the clue. I lots of time
- 50:00Speaker 1: will have theories. This one, I've got fucking nothing.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Yeah, this is unbelievable because the theory of him being
- 50:09Speaker 2: even if there was some altercation in the bar, or
- 50:12Speaker 2: like he got murdered in the bar. Yeah, the amount
- 50:15Speaker 2: of forensic evidence that they were probably gathering in there,
- 50:20Speaker 2: you would know.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Yeah, So I am going to offer my best theory,
- 50:27Speaker 1: but again I have no fucking clue. So my best
- 50:30Speaker 1: theory is the construction site exit. He's inebriated, maybe there's
- 50:35Speaker 1: an altercation, whatever, Maybe he's heaven forbid dismembered. Maybe he
- 50:41Speaker 1: is stumbling free willingly. One way or another. He exits
- 50:46Speaker 1: that door. He doesn't go far, which explains why he's
- 50:51Speaker 1: not caught on camera because the cameras aren't pointed at
- 50:54Speaker 1: that door. Okay, okay, So if he continues past that
- 50:58Speaker 1: door much, he probably would have got caught on camera,
- 50:59Speaker 1: but he doesn't. There's probably maybe an immediate dumpster of
- 51:03Speaker 1: some sort with construction debris that is pulled out daily
- 51:07Speaker 1: or every other day. Maybe there is a pit immediately
- 51:10Speaker 1: there that got filled in with concrete right outside that door.
- 51:14Speaker 1: I'm going to bet there was some way he could
- 51:17Speaker 1: get past the cameras, and I'm not gonna bet that
- 51:22Speaker 1: it was alive.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Dang, And you know, and they wouldn't have searched this
- 51:27Speaker 2: construction site though.
- 51:29Speaker 1: By the time they search it, it's gonna be Monday
- 51:32Speaker 1: or Tuesday. Yeah, I'm not saying it was murder. It
- 51:38Speaker 1: could have been an accident. Oh yeah, I got out
- 51:40Speaker 1: that door, stumbled, hit his head, and rolled into a trench.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Who knows. Maybe he crawled into a shoot or something,
- 51:48Speaker 1: thinking hey, this is drunk fun, and got stuck, and
- 51:51Speaker 1: then deb collapsed in on him and he got shoved
- 51:54Speaker 1: away in something. Who knows. But my theory is somehow,
- 51:58Speaker 1: right outside that door, he got shoved inside something somehow
- 52:03Speaker 1: and got mixed up and taken away before people even
- 52:06Speaker 1: reported a missing Kay.
- 52:07Speaker 2: But why would Clint be so sketched then, because there's
- 52:11Speaker 2: really with something like that happening, there would be absolutely
- 52:14Speaker 2: no reason.
- 52:15Speaker 1: For him to be No, you're right. My theory for
- 52:18Speaker 1: him being so sketch is he's probably feeling defensive because
- 52:22Speaker 1: I'm going to catch blame for this. I didn't do it,
- 52:24Speaker 1: but people are going to point fingers and think I
- 52:26Speaker 1: did it.
- 52:27Speaker 2: That makes sense, So.
- 52:28Speaker 1: He's probably feeling responsible but knowing he didn't do anything wrong.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really too bad that they can't. I mean,
- 52:38Speaker 2: you just can't but dig up this construction side of sorts.
- 52:41Speaker 2: But even if they did it, they couldn't potentially find anything.
- 52:44Speaker 2: And I also feel like it'd be very interesting to
- 52:47Speaker 2: find that homeless man.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Well, I'm I'm going to assume that most likely, once
- 52:52Speaker 1: the search started a couple days after this construction starting,
- 52:56Speaker 1: they would have looked into things like fresh poored concrete.
- 53:00Speaker 1: So I'm going to assume he's not buried in concrete
- 53:02Speaker 1: or anything. So I think something being taken away from
- 53:07Speaker 1: the site prior to investigation is the only thing I
- 53:10Speaker 1: can think of. But it is a slim chance, but
- 53:12Speaker 1: it's the only realistic chance I see, wow, or most realistic.
- 53:16Speaker 2: This poor family, right, that is horrible. It is horrible
- 53:21Speaker 2: to deal with.
- 53:22Speaker 1: It's absolutely dreadful, and I feel so bad for them.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I mean you, I'm a day wouldn't go
- 53:28Speaker 2: by that. You're not it's not on your mind and
- 53:31Speaker 2: you're not trying to figure it out.
- 53:32Speaker 1: What's your theory?
- 53:35Speaker 2: Man? I know they are so turning. I don't know
- 53:44Speaker 2: if I agree with your theory. I don't know what
- 53:48Speaker 2: you oh, man, because you've got I'm going to put
- 53:54Speaker 2: on the spot here. It's easier someone's to come up
- 53:56Speaker 2: with theory after you've researched it, you know. But I
- 53:59Speaker 2: just feel like the running away thing is my.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Best guess, that's what I want to believe too. But
- 54:08Speaker 1: the one thing that stops me is how did he
- 54:10Speaker 1: get past all these cameras?
- 54:12Speaker 2: I don't know. I just feel like there could potentially
- 54:17Speaker 2: be a way. What happens if he even spent this
- 54:21Speaker 2: just popped my brain. But had stayed in that bar
- 54:24Speaker 2: and then left later?
- 54:26Speaker 1: Oh, they checked cameras, Yeah, but they looked.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Could there not be a way that he could get
- 54:31Speaker 2: out that I think there would? There could be?
- 54:35Speaker 1: The only ways are I mean, maybe there's some air
- 54:38Speaker 1: ducting or sewer great, maybe I don't know, but the
- 54:41Speaker 1: only appropriate entrances and exits are the ones we discussed.
- 54:46Speaker 2: And then also, I guess even too, if he did
- 54:48Speaker 2: sneak away and he's living this different life at some point,
- 54:51Speaker 2: you think, especially if it maybe didn't go as as
- 54:55Speaker 2: according to how he hoped or planned that he'd come back,
- 54:59Speaker 2: you know. Yeah, So I don't know. Gosh, I'm really
- 55:02Speaker 2: not putting much out there for what I think because
- 55:04Speaker 2: this is wild, and I honestly am like, I have
- 55:06Speaker 2: no idea.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Well, I want to hear what everyone else out there thinks.
- 55:10Speaker 1: If you're still listening right now, shoot us a message
- 55:13Speaker 1: or an email or something. Let's hear your theories. I'm
- 55:17Speaker 1: totally came and open to hear it because I pretty
- 55:19Speaker 1: much got nothing at this point.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Yeah, this is crazy. Well, well, definitely, like you have
- 55:23Speaker 2: to put a post up and everyone can comment on there,
- 55:26Speaker 2: because I really want to know what people think too,
- 55:28Speaker 2: because this one is one of the most I have
- 55:33Speaker 2: no idea, Like, I'm at a loss. It's like you're
- 55:35Speaker 2: at a loss, Bafflely. Yeah, thanks, Ben, You're welcome.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Good luck, good luck sleeping tonight.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Hey, I feel like my brain is mush. It's late
