MV-22 Osprey Ground Fire at Mesa | Mesa News
A Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey caught fire on the ground at Mesa Gateway Airport during a training exercise on July 19th, but all crew members escaped safely with no injuries. Fire crews responded quickly, using specialized foam to extinguish the blaze in the right engine nacelle. The aircraft, from the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, was shut down and evacuated per protocol.
