And today we're going back to a restaurant. We've ordered food before, but what about drinks? Luna: Ohh, I love that. We covered water and juice a couple episodes ago, but I want to be able to ask what drinks they have. Lucas: Perfect. So the first phrase is: ምን መጠጥ አለ? — what drinks do you have? Luna: ምን መጠጥ አለ? Let me try. ምን መጠጥ አለ? Lucas: Exactly. You got the tones right. Now, if you want coffee with milk, you say: ቡና ከወተት ጋር. Luna: ቡና ከወተት ጋር. That's 'coffee with milk'. Lucas: Right. And tea with sugar: ሻይ ከስኳር ጋር. Luna: ሻይ ከስኳር ጋር. Ooh, I'd order that. So if I just want juice, I can say ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: Yes! You remembered that from episode 80. ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ — I want juice. Luna: And water — እባክህ አንድ ውሃ — one water please. Lucas: Perfect. እባክህ አንድ ውሃ. So let's put it together. Imagine you're at a restaurant and the waiter comes. Luna: Okay, I'll be the customer. ምን መጠጥ አለ? Lucas: And I'll be the waiter. We have coffee, tea, juice, water. What would you like? Luna: ቡና ከወተት ጋር, እባክህ. Lucas: Great choice. And if you want to say 'I want juice' — ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ. Luna: ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ. I'm getting better at this. Lucas: You really are.
