Mega Edition: How Did The IRS Miss A Guy Like Jeffrey Epstein? (10/15/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: On tonight's program, we're going to discuss Rico and how
0:04
Speaker 1: a former IRS agent would go about investigating Jeffrey Epstein's
0:10
Speaker 1: co-conspirators and their financial crimes. Now, I talk about this
0:15
Speaker 1: quite a bit here on the podcast, and I talk
0:17
Speaker 1: about it because I feel it's a very, very, very
0:21
Speaker 1: important part of this case. I think that A forensic accountant,
0:26
Speaker 1: or obviously a team of forensic accountants in this case,
0:30
Speaker 1: would be able to pin so many financial crimes on
0:34
Speaker 1: so many people that were involved with Jeffrey Epstein that
0:37
Speaker 1: it would end up being the crime of the century.
0:40
Speaker 1: Because all of these people are connected. All of these
0:43
Speaker 1: people have received money from Jeffrey Epstein or one of
0:47
Speaker 1: his so-called charities, which are really front companies. And once
0:52
Speaker 1: that occurs, once you have received ill-gotten gains from somebody
0:56
Speaker 1: who is under investigation for RICO, well, you now also
1:00
Speaker 1: become subject because you are part of the conspiracy in
1:03
Speaker 1: the government's eyes now since you received those ill-gotten gains.
1:07
Speaker 1: At least that's how it works when they're going after
1:09
Speaker 1: Italian folks. Now, tonight we have an article where a
1:15
Speaker 1: former IRS agent gets down into the weeds and he
1:19
Speaker 1: talks about how he... would initiate an investigation, what pathway
1:25
Speaker 1: he would use, and what sort of tools would be
1:28
Speaker 1: at his disposal if he was investigating Jeffrey Epstein's financial crimes.
1:33
Speaker 1: So let's jump into this article and see what they
1:37
Speaker 1: have to say over at the Daily Beast. This article
1:42
Speaker 1: was authored by Martin Scheel on July 17th of 2019. Headline,
1:46
Speaker 1: former IRS agent, Here's how I'd investigate Jeffrey Epstein's finances. Financier, pedophile,
1:59
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein is an accused sex trafficker. This much we know.
2:04
Speaker 1: The new SDNY investigation will hopefully cure the bogus plea
2:08
Speaker 1: deal Epstein received in Florida at the direction of then-U.S.
2:12
Speaker 1: Attorney Alex Acosta, who is now an ex-Secretary of Labor,
2:16
Speaker 1: due to negative publicity finally catching up to the deal
2:20
Speaker 1: and rubbing off on President Trump's administration. Well, it took
2:25
Speaker 1: you guys long enough to catch on, legacy media. It
2:29
Speaker 1: took you guys long enough to give a damn. And
2:33
Speaker 1: then once Acosta was gone, all of a sudden, all
2:36
Speaker 1: the interest was gone once again. The legacy media, as
2:42
Speaker 1: I've said numerous times, is a dumpster fire. But where
2:48
Speaker 1: did Epstein's money come from? Where does it go? There
2:51
Speaker 1: are plenty of media reports suggesting that Epstein ran his
2:54
Speaker 1: own hedge fund after leaving Bear Stearns, but no one
2:58
Speaker 1: seems to know who his clients were beyond Retail King
3:02
Speaker 1: and accused abuser Les Wexner, nor whom he traded with.
3:08
Speaker 1: One report even suggested that Epstein might have belonged to intelligence.
3:13
Speaker 1: And now remember, folks, this article is from July, right?
3:16
Speaker 1: So we have the benefit of hindsight here. We have
3:19
Speaker 1: the benefit of Monday morning quarterbacking this information. So it's
3:23
Speaker 1: interesting to see that this soon after Jeffrey Epstein's death even,
3:28
Speaker 1: there were hints about the intelligence angle. And you know
3:32
Speaker 1: that made the parasites in the legacy media absolutely paranoid.
3:39
Speaker 1: Because they don't want their relationships outed. Look what happened
3:43
Speaker 1: over at ABC when we got a little peek behind
3:46
Speaker 1: the curtain. Look how ABC squashed Amy Robach's story because
3:51
Speaker 1: they still wanted access to Joe Exotic and his family.
3:57
Speaker 1: So don't think for a minute that the legacy media
4:02
Speaker 1: garbage hounds weren't paranoid over this. Well, even spies are
4:09
Speaker 1: required to pay their taxes. And this is another thing
4:11
Speaker 1: that I've said, right? If you follow the underworld, the
4:15
Speaker 1: criminal underworld and the history of the mafia and the
4:19
Speaker 1: cartels and the Russian mafia, et cetera, et cetera. Well,
4:24
Speaker 1: you know that a lot of these guys are basically
4:27
Speaker 1: serial killers, right? But they don't end up going to
4:30
Speaker 1: prison for that. they end up going to prison for
4:32
Speaker 1: stuff like wire fraud, money laundering, mail fraud. Those sort
4:39
Speaker 1: of financial crimes are what they get pinned with because
4:43
Speaker 1: it's much harder, obviously, to charge somebody with a murder, say,
4:48
Speaker 1: and make it stick, right? But when you get into
4:51
Speaker 1: the financials of these people and you have a quality team,
4:55
Speaker 1: a quality team of forensic accountants, Boy, if you're up
5:00
Speaker 1: to no good, you stand zero chance of hiding that.
5:03
Speaker 1: Zero chance. And we have not seen that in this case.
5:06
Speaker 1: We have not seen a full charge into the financials
5:10
Speaker 1: of everybody connected. Every single person that Epstein donated money
5:16
Speaker 1: to or Epstein gave money to, every single person should
5:21
Speaker 1: be under the microscope. The bare-bones financial statement provided to
5:26
Speaker 1: the federal court in Manhattan on Monday, which summarized Epstein's wealth,
5:31
Speaker 1: left out a whole lot of detail, frustrating the prosecutors
5:36
Speaker 1: but tantalizing the rest of the world. According to his lawyers,
5:40
Speaker 1: Epstein is half a billionaire, worth in excess of $ 500 million. Well,
5:46
Speaker 1: we know that's at $ 634 million now in... paper funds,
5:50
Speaker 1: meaning money that we can track, money that's on paper,
5:53
Speaker 1: money that's been accounted for. But the whole entire idea
5:57
Speaker 1: and what we're talking about here is there is a
5:59
Speaker 1: lot more money out there that is not accounted for.
6:03
Speaker 1: And that money needs to be found. And if that
6:06
Speaker 1: money needs to be seized from other participants within this organization,
6:10
Speaker 1: then so be it. But all of that money should
6:13
Speaker 1: go to the survivors. Lots of cash, equity investments, and properties,
6:20
Speaker 1: including offshore in the U.S. Virgin Islands, were outlined. But
6:24
Speaker 1: no real detail was included that could explain the piles
6:27
Speaker 1: of cash and dozens of diamonds found in his safe
6:30
Speaker 1: by FBI agents during a raid on his $ 77 million
6:34
Speaker 1: Upper East Side mansion. And the diamonds are interesting, too.
6:38
Speaker 1: How many of those diamonds were hot? How many of
6:40
Speaker 1: those diamonds were bought from, let's say, less than... less
6:46
Speaker 1: than moral diamond dealers, right? We all know about blood diamonds.
6:51
Speaker 1: And we all know that Jeffrey Epstein isn't going to
6:54
Speaker 1: spend more money than possible. In fact, we know he's
6:57
Speaker 1: going to try and chisel the price down a bit.
7:00
Speaker 1: So let's talk about those diamonds a little bit. Where
7:02
Speaker 1: did they come from? Who did he buy those from?
7:05
Speaker 1: Do those have receipts? You know, like normal people, you
7:08
Speaker 1: buy a big purchase item like that, you probably have
7:11
Speaker 1: your receipts stashed somewhere just for, you know, safekeeping. God forbid.
7:16
Speaker 1: I know I do. So how does he account for
7:22
Speaker 1: all of the diamonds? Now the cash, that's a whole
7:26
Speaker 1: different issue. That's a lot harder to pin down on
7:28
Speaker 1: somebody unless we're talking about banking. And then once we're
7:32
Speaker 1: talking about banking, then we have Title 31, CTRs. We're
7:36
Speaker 1: going to get into that a little bit later in
7:37
Speaker 1: this article. But there's a lot of stuff that goes
7:40
Speaker 1: with cash transactions, folks. A lot of things. Nor was
7:46
Speaker 1: much explanation provided for the passport found in the safe
7:50
Speaker 1: issued by Austria with a Saudi address and bearing Epstein's photo,
7:55
Speaker 1: but containing a different name. And now we know that
8:00
Speaker 1: there are a lot of ties that bind Austria with
8:04
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, right? The Lauder connection, the connection to the
8:08
Speaker 1: Reagan administration, the timing of the passport being drawn, etc., etc.,
8:13
Speaker 1: There is a lot more going on with that passport
8:16
Speaker 1: as well. And that definitely deserves a deeper dive at
8:19
Speaker 1: some point. Because an Austrian passport is like gold. Those
8:24
Speaker 1: aren't just given out, right? Those are very difficult to receive.
8:29
Speaker 1: And then you add a little bit more sauce to
8:31
Speaker 1: the fire. I mean, a little more sauce to the
8:33
Speaker 1: dish by having his address be in Saudi Arabia. Yeah,
8:39
Speaker 1: there's a lot of weird stuff going on there, folks.
8:41
Speaker 1: No doubt about it. and bearing Epstein's photo, but containing
8:46
Speaker 1: a different name. Police have not confirmed whether the passport
8:50
Speaker 1: is legitimate or fake. Epstein's lawyers say it was just
8:53
Speaker 1: for protection against hijacking. Yeah, because that's what everybody does, huh?
8:57
Speaker 1: We all have fake passports in case our plane gets hijacked,
9:00
Speaker 1: because that happens often. I mean, this guy, what, is
9:04
Speaker 1: he watching too much Delta Force or something? Your plane's
9:07
Speaker 1: not getting hijacked, Mr. Epstein, okay? You're flying around on
9:11
Speaker 1: a private jet. Nobody's hijacking your plane. And in fact,
9:19
Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, you're as scummy as those terrorists
9:23
Speaker 1: or anybody who's going to hijack your plane. So I'd
9:25
Speaker 1: be worried about your own affairs, sir. Hijacking? I'm worried
9:29
Speaker 1: about hijacking. That's why I need another passport. I mean,
9:34
Speaker 1: what is he at, the casino? He needs a second
9:35
Speaker 1: rewards card in case he loses the first. I need
9:39
Speaker 1: a passport in case I get hijacked. What sort of
9:42
Speaker 1: lunacy is that? The Daily Beast has previously reported on
9:48
Speaker 1: Epstein's supposed multi-million dollar investment in a modeling agency called
9:54
Speaker 1: MC2 run by his associate Jean-Luc Brunel, which allegedly sourced
9:59
Speaker 1: models from Europe. And obviously we've been talking about that
10:02
Speaker 1: for the last couple of segments and the Jean-Luc Brunel
10:05
Speaker 1: situation is appalling. This is a man that deserves to
10:10
Speaker 1: be arrested right now, yesterday and the day before. How
10:14
Speaker 1: is this dude still running around, living his life to
10:18
Speaker 1: the fullest? and not answering hard-ass questions under the gaze
10:25
Speaker 1: of a seasoned interrogator. Brunel has denied that Epstein helped
10:31
Speaker 1: fund his agency. Yeah, okay. Epstein is also alleged to
10:36
Speaker 1: have secretly invested $ 1 million in an Israeli tech startup
10:40
Speaker 1: originally called Reporti Homeland Security Limited, but now called Carbine Limited.
10:46
Speaker 1: Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is the chairman of
10:50
Speaker 1: Carbine Limited, which purports to develop call handling and identification
10:55
Speaker 1: capabilities for emergency response services. And we discussed this at
11:00
Speaker 1: length as well within our three-part series on Ehud Barak.
11:05
Speaker 1: All of this stuff ties in together. And when we're
11:07
Speaker 1: talking about financials, this Ehud Barak character, Brunel, all of
11:14
Speaker 1: these people that Jeffrey Epstein gave seed money to or
11:17
Speaker 1: invested in or any of that, every single one of
11:20
Speaker 1: these companies should have their assets frozen and they should
11:26
Speaker 1: be under scrutiny. by forensic accountants. Carbine Limited has offices
11:35
Speaker 1: and employees throughout South America and just opened offices in Mexico.
11:40
Speaker 1: Israel's current prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was quick to attack
11:44
Speaker 1: his rival Barak's association with Epstein, raising questions not only
11:49
Speaker 1: about Carbine Limited, but also queries about a 2004 transfer
11:54
Speaker 1: of $ 2. 3 million from the Wexner Foundation, apparently made by
11:59
Speaker 1: Epstein to Barak for murky reasons. Guys, this is money
12:04
Speaker 1: laundering right here. at its core, okay? This money wasn't
12:08
Speaker 1: accounted for. They have receipts for all of this money.
12:11
Speaker 1: I highly doubt it. And if they do, where are they?
12:16
Speaker 1: This should be blown up in the legacy media. There
12:20
Speaker 1: should be, you know how they do those hour shows
12:22
Speaker 1: on all the nonsense on TV you see on a
12:24
Speaker 1: regular basis? They should have an hour show every single
12:27
Speaker 1: night exposing the people involved in this conspiracy to commit crime,
12:33
Speaker 1: in this criminal organization. Because what went on here and
12:37
Speaker 1: what is still going on here is disgusting. It is
12:42
Speaker 1: enough to make you want to throw up all over
12:44
Speaker 1: the place because the people who are involved and the
12:48
Speaker 1: high levels that it reaches, these are people that have
12:51
Speaker 1: a direct influence on our life. These are people who
12:54
Speaker 1: have a direct influence on our day-to-day activities. And yet
13:00
Speaker 1: we continue to put our confidence... In people who are
13:06
Speaker 1: morally corrupt, people who do not care about, forget their
13:11
Speaker 1: fellow man, they don't care about their friends or their
13:14
Speaker 1: supposed friends. But these are the sort of narcissists that
13:18
Speaker 1: we continue to put into office, and then we wonder
13:22
Speaker 1: why things are all screwed up. Barack claimed that Wexner
13:30
Speaker 1: Transfer was for research purposes and that Carbine Limited was
13:33
Speaker 1: a legitimate business that had paid all its taxes. Did they?
13:37
Speaker 1: Did Epstein? Given the immense of unexplained wealth accumulated by Epstein,
13:42
Speaker 1: authorities will surely give serious consideration to exploring the money
13:47
Speaker 1: trails via a criminal tax fraud and or money laundering investigation. Yeah,
13:54
Speaker 1: you think? That is the way to go, folks, okay?
13:58
Speaker 1: It is the most important tool that prosecutors have at
14:05
Speaker 1: their disposal. If they go this route, this automatically becomes
14:09
Speaker 1: a RICO case, and everything opens up. I don't know
14:14
Speaker 1: how much more they need to really break out the
14:17
Speaker 1: big guns down at the SDNY, and I don't know
14:21
Speaker 1: how much longer they need to start making arrests. Professor
14:29
Speaker 1: Thomas Valschow, who has been researching Epstein for a book
14:32
Speaker 1: he is writing, explained to me in an email that
14:34
Speaker 1: he believes Epstein advised wealthy clients on sophisticated tax shelters
14:39
Speaker 1: when Epstein worked at Bear Stearns. Valschow further noted that
14:44
Speaker 1: Epstein controlled tons of entities, LLCs, LLC stands for Limited
14:48
Speaker 1: Liability Companies, which are also known as shell companies used
14:52
Speaker 1: by sophisticated real estate investors to purchase luxury real properties
14:58
Speaker 1: in an anonymous fashion. They are also used by money
15:02
Speaker 1: launderers as conduits to move monies around offshore without attracting
15:06
Speaker 1: undue attention from the authorities. Typical mafioso behavior. This is
15:13
Speaker 1: the sort of thing you do when you have big
15:16
Speaker 1: money that needs to be washed. And Jeffrey Epstein and
15:22
Speaker 1: all of his friends were obviously engaging in this. From
15:26
Speaker 1: the evidence that we have, folks, from everything that we've seen,
15:30
Speaker 1: all of the evidence leads to a gigantic money laundering operation.
15:37
Speaker 1: Michael Cohen most famously made use of a shell company, LLC,
15:41
Speaker 1: called Essential Consultants, as a secret conduit to conceal hush
15:45
Speaker 1: money payments from Donald Trump to porn star Stormy Daniels.
15:49
Speaker 1: Paul Manafort also famously made use of offshore shell companies
15:54
Speaker 1: and bank accounts in Cyprus and other locations to make
15:57
Speaker 1: covert luxury purchases in the States. And Paul Manafort's downfall
16:03
Speaker 1: was exactly that. Again, his financials. This is a man
16:08
Speaker 1: that would have been able to withstand the other stuff,
16:11
Speaker 1: but it was the financial misdeeds and the terrible, terrible
16:17
Speaker 1: examples of money laundering that he was engaged in that
16:21
Speaker 1: sent him up the river. And a quick look at
16:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein gives us everything we need to know that
16:29
Speaker 1: this is exactly the route that they should be taking.
16:34
Speaker 1: If a federal agent came to me and requested authorization
16:38
Speaker 1: to open up a criminal tax and or money laundering
16:41
Speaker 1: investigation regarding Epstein's unexplained cash and diamonds as well as
16:46
Speaker 1: his alleged concealed investments into MC2 and Carbine Limited with
16:51
Speaker 1: concomitant and concealed income streams, I would likely approve. And
16:55
Speaker 1: this is the IRS agent that's speaking now. The man
17:00
Speaker 1: who was in charge of this sort of thing, these
17:02
Speaker 1: kind of investigations. And this is what I've been telling
17:05
Speaker 1: you guys from the beginning with this RICO stuff. And
17:08
Speaker 1: the only reason I know this is because I've seen
17:11
Speaker 1: it happen. I've seen it unfold before my eyes. I've
17:13
Speaker 1: seen people have their whole lives ruined over RICO for
17:18
Speaker 1: mundane crimes, folks, all right? Crimes that are illegal in
17:24
Speaker 1: every state now. Gambling crimes. And I have seen people's
17:28
Speaker 1: whole lives turned upside down over this. I've watched it
17:32
Speaker 1: in real time occur. I've seen them get their house
17:35
Speaker 1: raided by an FBI SWAT team. But yet, these dudes
17:41
Speaker 1: are moving around. We're talking not a couple of hundred grand, right?
17:45
Speaker 1: We're not talking a couple of, you know, a couple
17:48
Speaker 1: of hundred boxes of Ziti here. We're talking... serious weight.
17:53
Speaker 1: We're talking millions and tens and tens of millions. And
17:55
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein even took it a step further than someone
17:58
Speaker 1: like Paul Manafort and had his own banks opened up.
18:01
Speaker 1: So you mean to tell me that the people in
18:03
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands, the authorities in the Virgin Islands who
18:06
Speaker 1: gave him the permits shouldn't be involved in this investigation? Oh,
18:11
Speaker 1: they most certainly should be. The investigation into Trump-connected lobbyist
18:16
Speaker 1: Manafort might serve as a blueprint for such an investigation. Obviously,
18:21
Speaker 1: all bank and equity accounts would require subpoenas and spreadsheet analysis.
18:26
Speaker 1: And that's where the forensic accountants come in, folks, because
18:29
Speaker 1: this is tedious work, right? You got to go through
18:32
Speaker 1: this with a fine tooth comb every single transaction. And
18:38
Speaker 1: there are people that are in that field that are
18:41
Speaker 1: exceptionally good at what they do, folks. But requests for
18:48
Speaker 1: personal tax returns with an emphasis on Schedule B for
18:52
Speaker 1: analysis would be a mandatory cross-reference. Schedule B on the
18:56
Speaker 1: 1040 form contains the famous three yes or no questions
19:00
Speaker 1: that Manafort lied about with regard to foreign bank account
19:04
Speaker 1: ownership and activity. Very important there, right? Foreign bank account
19:10
Speaker 1: ownership and activity. FinCEN databases would also need to be queried. Now,
19:18
Speaker 1: we're getting into some stuff that I know about because
19:20
Speaker 1: I had to deal with it at my former job. Now,
19:24
Speaker 1: for those of you who have been listening to the
19:26
Speaker 1: podcast or know me in real life, know that I
19:30
Speaker 1: worked at Cantor Fitzgerald, which is a huge, gigantic company
19:35
Speaker 1: on Wall Street. Now, I worked in their gaming division
19:38
Speaker 1: in Las Vegas, managing sportsbooks and working in sportsbooks, and
19:43
Speaker 1: we were very much involved with this sort of thing.
19:46
Speaker 1: suspicious activity reports, the FinCEN database, Title 31, all of
19:52
Speaker 1: these things that have to do with finances and financial transactions, etc., etc.
19:59
Speaker 1: We were using these things on a daily basis. For example,
20:03
Speaker 1: say somebody came in and they were acting suspicious, right?
20:06
Speaker 1: They were going to make a wager, and it was
20:10
Speaker 1: just a suspicious situation. And the ticket writer had a
20:13
Speaker 1: bad feeling about it and decided that they wanted to
20:18
Speaker 1: talk to the supervisor and fill out a SARC. Well,
20:22
Speaker 1: all of those SARCs that get filled out, no matter
20:25
Speaker 1: how mundane they might be, once those SARCs get filled out,
20:29
Speaker 1: they get put into a database. And that database is
20:34
Speaker 1: the FinCEN database. And the authorities, the feds, have access
20:40
Speaker 1: to that database, and they can go in there at
20:42
Speaker 1: any time and search it for the SARs and the
20:45
Speaker 1: SARCs to see if the people that they're investigating pop
20:49
Speaker 1: up in the system. And there were a lot of SARCs.
20:55
Speaker 1: written up. There's no doubt about it because you want
20:57
Speaker 1: to cover your ass, right? From a company perspective, you
21:01
Speaker 1: want to make sure that you're in CYA mode at
21:03
Speaker 1: all times and it doesn't hurt to file the SARC.
21:06
Speaker 1: So we were, we filed them, you know, at a,
21:09
Speaker 1: at a decent clip when we thought it was necessary.
21:12
Speaker 1: But this is all huge, huge, huge money laundering stuff here.
21:19
Speaker 1: And in a job like a sports book, you always
21:21
Speaker 1: have to be aware of people trying to use that
21:24
Speaker 1: to wash their money. So we were definitely aware of
21:27
Speaker 1: that stuff and we tried to stay on top of it.
21:29
Speaker 1: And I had a bunch of different training classes about
21:32
Speaker 1: all of this financial stuff. So that's why it jumps
21:36
Speaker 1: out to me so much, right? That's why I'm such
21:38
Speaker 1: a stickler about it. And I'm always talking about the
21:40
Speaker 1: RICO aspect of this case because folks, it is, they are,
21:44
Speaker 1: the feds don't play around when it comes to this stuff.
21:47
Speaker 1: They do not play around. First and foremost, all suspicious
21:53
Speaker 1: activity reports, SARs, would need to be scrutinized. FinCEN had
21:57
Speaker 1: over 20 SARs on Manafort in their database regarding his
22:01
Speaker 1: suspicious foreign bank account activities using shell companies. And I
22:05
Speaker 1: can only imagine what the FinCEN database has on Jeffrey
22:09
Speaker 1: Epstein and what has been ignored by regulators. What might
22:13
Speaker 1: this database reveal concerning Epstein's foreign financial transactions? Is there
22:18
Speaker 1: a SAR existent with regard to the 2004 wire transfer
22:21
Speaker 1: to Ehud Barak? Are there other SARs available regarding suspicious
22:26
Speaker 1: foreign bank account activity in recent years by Epstein? These
22:29
Speaker 1: are huge questions, and these questions will go very, very
22:33
Speaker 1: far into getting to the heart of this whole entire disgusting,
22:38
Speaker 1: corrupt operation. How did Epstein get his million-dollar investment in
22:44
Speaker 1: Carbine to Barak? Wire transfer to Barak's LLC in Israel?
22:48
Speaker 1: Did Epstein file the required foreign bank account record, FBAR,
22:52
Speaker 1: with Finston? Manafort ended up pleading to multiple counts of
22:56
Speaker 1: FBAR felonies after he was caught lying to his accountants
23:00
Speaker 1: about not being required to file. Does Finston have any
23:04
Speaker 1: FBARs on record for Epstein with regard to his foreign
23:07
Speaker 1: financial transactions? And if not, why not? That's huge, folks,
23:13
Speaker 1: because if he doesn't, it will definitely go to move
23:20
Speaker 1: things forward as far as this being a gigantic cover-up.
23:24
Speaker 1: Because you cannot get it by me and try and
23:31
Speaker 1: tell me that there's no SARS on this guy. Because
23:36
Speaker 1: the way he was handling his money, if he was
23:38
Speaker 1: in my sportsbook making transactions like this, wiring this kind
23:41
Speaker 1: of money in, et cetera, et cetera, I would have
23:43
Speaker 1: definitely sarked him. Not even a question. He would have
23:47
Speaker 1: definitely got hit with a suspicious activity report. Zero chance
23:53
Speaker 1: that he wouldn't have. So it's very hard for me
23:55
Speaker 1: to believe that there are no F-bars on record for
23:58
Speaker 1: him in Finson. Does the IRS have foreign account tax
24:02
Speaker 1: compliance requirements? FATCA files available on Epstein that might inform
24:07
Speaker 1: with regard to Epstein's foreign financial transactions? Have local New
24:11
Speaker 1: York and Florida banks filed currency transaction reports, CTRs with
24:16
Speaker 1: FinCEN regarding cash deposits and or withdrawals by Epstein that
24:20
Speaker 1: might explain the tons of cash found in his safe?
24:23
Speaker 1: And what CTRs are is anytime that you are withdrawing
24:31
Speaker 1: or depositing $ 10, 000 and one cent, you have to fill
24:36
Speaker 1: out a CTR. And that's a currency transaction report, title
24:42
Speaker 1: 31 currency transaction report. So you'll you need to give
24:46
Speaker 1: up your social security card, you need to fill out
24:49
Speaker 1: a W nine, if you don't have one on file
24:52
Speaker 1: with the institution, it's a whole thing, right? It's a
24:55
Speaker 1: big deal. It's all about money laundering. A lot of
24:58
Speaker 1: it came into effect after the Patriot Act. You know,
25:00
Speaker 1: there's a lot of things that happened. But the fact
25:02
Speaker 1: of the matter is this. If he was engaging in
25:07
Speaker 1: any sort of cash transaction that was above $ 10, 000, well,
25:13
Speaker 1: there should be CTRs to report that. And if there isn't,
25:17
Speaker 1: the people who didn't file the CTRs were obviously in
25:20
Speaker 1: on the take. So, where are the arrests? A careful
25:29
Speaker 1: FinCEN database query on each of Epstein's four potential co-conspirators
25:33
Speaker 1: from his Florida plea deal might also be fruitful. Folks,
25:38
Speaker 1: how long have I told you this, okay? This is
25:40
Speaker 1: the key here. You gotta go after all of these people,
25:43
Speaker 1: and that's how it goes. Certainly, queries should also be
25:47
Speaker 1: made for any names associated with Epstein, such as the
25:51
Speaker 1: alleged alias on his Austrian passport. All of the people...
25:56
Speaker 1: who were engaged with any sort of financial transactions with
26:00
Speaker 1: Epstein have to be brought in, but especially the core four.
26:04
Speaker 1: You start digging into their financials. Were they as smooth
26:07
Speaker 1: as Epstein? Did they have Indyk and Khan to hide
26:10
Speaker 1: their financials? What happened after Epstein died? Were Darren, Indyk,
26:15
Speaker 1: and Khan still involved helping? So who knows, right? But
26:19
Speaker 1: the point is, you have to track this stuff down.
26:22
Speaker 1: You have to chase this stuff down. And that's why
26:24
Speaker 1: these tools are there. FBARs and CTRs and SARCs, et cetera,
26:28
Speaker 1: et cetera. So the only way Epstein could have gotten
26:32
Speaker 1: away with this for all these years at Deutsche Bank,
26:36
Speaker 1: at JP Morgan, and elsewhere, is if the bankers themselves
26:41
Speaker 1: were on the take with him. That is my opinion, folks.
26:48
Speaker 1: There is no way that all of these regulators overlooked
26:51
Speaker 1: all of these transactions. They didn't file the FBARs. They
26:54
Speaker 1: didn't have CTRs on file. There's no Sarks on him.
26:59
Speaker 1: No way. Jeffrey Epstein, he's never been suspicious ever once
27:02
Speaker 1: in his life. Well, the game is up. We are
27:10
Speaker 1: on to you. The Bankster Gangsters... and their disgusting friends
27:15
Speaker 1: like Jeffrey Epstein, have done nothing but cause misery for
27:19
Speaker 1: the rest of us. And it's about time that they
27:23
Speaker 1: start answering some hard questions. Hedge fund operators, spies, and
27:30
Speaker 1: sex traffickers are all supposed to pay their taxes. The
27:35
Speaker 1: above financial investigative steps would be recommended to the SDNY
27:39
Speaker 1: in the case of Jeffrey Epstein, whatever the mysterious or potentially...
27:44
Speaker 1: potentially bad source of his income might be. And look,
27:49
Speaker 1: I certainly never worked for the IRS, right? That's like
27:53
Speaker 1: working for a dark army, in my opinion. But all
27:56
Speaker 1: kidding aside, honestly, just from the job that I used
28:00
Speaker 1: to do managing sportsbooks and how berserk I used to
28:05
Speaker 1: make myself over the financials, meaning what's coming across the
28:09
Speaker 1: desk and if it should be sarked If it's acceptable,
28:13
Speaker 1: is this guy trying to launder money with us? Did
28:16
Speaker 1: everybody get the right, did everybody file the CTRs that
28:19
Speaker 1: they're supposed to if they're making bigger bets? So these
28:22
Speaker 1: are the kind of things that I know are super serious.
28:27
Speaker 1: And when we're talking about a huge criminal organization like
28:31
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's, these are the tools that the investigators have
28:37
Speaker 1: at their disposal that they can use to initiate The
28:41
Speaker 1: RICO indictments. So the question I have for the prosecutors
28:48
Speaker 1: and for everybody else involved in this case, as far
28:51
Speaker 1: as those at the Department of Justice and in the
28:54
Speaker 1: governments around the world, my question to you is this.
28:58
Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? If you'd like to contact me,
29:04
Speaker 1: you can do that at BobbyCapucci at ProtonMail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I
29:11
Speaker 1: at ProtonMail.com. You can also find me on Twitter at
29:14
Speaker 1: B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. What's up, everyone, and welcome to another
29:20
Speaker 1: episode of the Epstein Chronicles. You ever notice how the
29:25
Speaker 1: IRS is relentless when it comes to you and me?
29:27
Speaker 1: If you accidentally misplace a decimal point, Forget to report
29:31
Speaker 1: a couple hundred bucks from selling old furniture online, or
29:34
Speaker 1: miscalculate your mileage deduction. They'll come after you. Like you're
29:38
Speaker 1: the Al Capone of... of Craigslist. They'll slap you with penalties, interests, threats,
29:44
Speaker 1: bleed you dry over pocket change. But when it comes
29:46
Speaker 1: to Epstein, the convicted sex offender, the man moving millions
29:50
Speaker 1: of dollars through a labyrinth of shady accounts, the so-called
29:53
Speaker 1: financier with no legitimate business model, they acted like he
29:58
Speaker 1: didn't even exist. Like their enforcement radar magically went blank
30:02
Speaker 1: the moment his name appeared on a transaction. Epstein wasn't hiding.
30:07
Speaker 1: His dealings were right there in black and white, woven
30:09
Speaker 1: into the financial system like a neon sign flashing fraud.
30:13
Speaker 1: Leon Black alone paid him over $ 150 million in advisory fees.
30:18
Speaker 1: Advisory fees for what? Epstein wasn't a Wall Street titan.
30:23
Speaker 1: He wasn't a tax savant. He was a predator who
30:26
Speaker 1: had already been convicted in Florida in 2008. His name
30:30
Speaker 1: was toxic. His presence was radioactive. And even a half-conscious
30:35
Speaker 1: regulator should have been asking, why is a billionaire CEO
30:39
Speaker 1: wiring hundreds of million dollars to a registered sex offender
30:42
Speaker 1: for advice? But the IRS, they never asked. Not once.
30:47
Speaker 1: They looked away as if their job was to protect them,
30:50
Speaker 1: not police them. And that's the bitter irony. Epstein weaponized
30:54
Speaker 1: the very indifference of institutions like the IRS. He turned
30:58
Speaker 1: their silence into currency, and those transactions weren't just about money.
31:02
Speaker 1: They were about legitimacy. Every unexplained wire transfer that passed
31:07
Speaker 1: unchallenged made him look untouchable. If the IRS wasn't calling
31:10
Speaker 1: him out, if the government wasn't investigating his income streams,
31:14
Speaker 1: then the message to everyone else, the banks, the billionaires,
31:17
Speaker 1: the elites, was clear. It's safe to keep doing business
31:21
Speaker 1: with him. He's been given a pass. And we're not
31:24
Speaker 1: talking about oversight here. because oversight implies they didn't see it. No,
31:29
Speaker 1: they saw it. Every wire, every fee, every dollar had
31:33
Speaker 1: to have been visible. It all went through the system
31:35
Speaker 1: that the IRS claims to monitor like hawks. But when
31:39
Speaker 1: it came to Epstein, they became pigeons, flapping around, pecking
31:43
Speaker 1: at crumbs, pretending the loaf of bread didn't even exist.
31:48
Speaker 1: He moved money through foundations, shell companies, offshore havens, classic
31:52
Speaker 1: red flags, and the watchdog stayed asleep. Meanwhile, you better
31:57
Speaker 1: not forget to carry the one. And look, let's be honest.
32:01
Speaker 1: Epstein's dealings with Leon Black are just the tip of
32:04
Speaker 1: the iceberg. He had financial connections with Les Wexner, Glenn Dubin,
32:08
Speaker 1: hedge funds, private banks, you name it. Each of those
32:12
Speaker 1: networks involved millions of unexplained dollars flowing into the hands
32:16
Speaker 1: of a man who was supposedly radioactive. Yet somehow, that
32:20
Speaker 1: radioactivity never set off alarms at the IRS. It's almost
32:25
Speaker 1: as if there was an unspoken policy. Don't look too closely.
32:28
Speaker 1: Don't touch him. Don't open that file. Now contrast that
32:32
Speaker 1: with how they treat the rest of us. You file
32:34
Speaker 1: your taxes late one year because of a family emergency
32:37
Speaker 1: and you're drowning in penalties and interest. They garnish wages,
32:41
Speaker 1: seize accounts, drag you into compliance with a chokehold. But Epstein,
32:45
Speaker 1: he lived like a king on blood money. He bought
32:48
Speaker 1: private islands, maintained Manhattan mansions, flew private jets, and paid
32:52
Speaker 1: hush money all through channels that should have triggered red alerts,
32:56
Speaker 1: the IRS didn't just fail, they enabled. Because here's the thing,
33:00
Speaker 1: the IRS loves to scare the working class, they love
33:03
Speaker 1: to terrify small business owners and middle class families into compliance,
33:07
Speaker 1: but when it comes to the rich, the connected, the
33:10
Speaker 1: predators like Epstein, they transform into meek little clerks rubber
33:14
Speaker 1: stamping paperwork while pretending not to see the rot in
33:18
Speaker 1: front of them. They'll audit a waitress for claiming too
33:21
Speaker 1: many tips, but let Epstein rake in millions in fees
33:24
Speaker 1: from billionaires without batting an eye. And this isn't just
33:27
Speaker 1: a story about negligence, it's about complicity. Every dollar the
33:31
Speaker 1: IRS let slide was another brick in Epstein's empire of abuse.
33:36
Speaker 1: Every unexplained transaction that passed through without scrutiny was another
33:40
Speaker 1: shield he could wield against exposure. The IRS's indifference wasn't passive,
33:45
Speaker 1: it was active fuel for his criminal machinery. They made
33:49
Speaker 1: it possible for him to operate with impunity long after
33:52
Speaker 1: he should have been finished. So when you hear the
33:55
Speaker 1: IRS brag about fairness, about accountability, about nobody being above
33:59
Speaker 1: the law, remember Epstein. Remember the hundreds of millions in
34:03
Speaker 1: dealings with men like Leon Black that slipped through without
34:06
Speaker 1: a whisper. Remember that. While you're sweating bullets over a
34:09
Speaker 1: mistake on a 1040 form, Jeffrey Epstein was running a
34:13
Speaker 1: global blackmail operation under the government's nose, financed by money
34:17
Speaker 1: that should have set off alarms in every office of
34:20
Speaker 1: the IRS. The truth is simple, and it's ugly. There
34:24
Speaker 1: are two tax systems in this country. One for you,
34:27
Speaker 1: where every dime is squeezed, every mistake punished, every corner cut,
34:31
Speaker 1: treated like a federal offense. And one for them. For
34:35
Speaker 1: men like Jeffrey Epstein and his billionaire wife. so-called clients
34:40
Speaker 1: where millions can vanish into thin air and the IRS
34:43
Speaker 1: is more than happy to look the other way. Today's
34:46
Speaker 1: article is from Art News and the headline, U.S. Senator
34:50
Speaker 1: Ron Wyden Calls for Investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's Work for
34:54
Speaker 1: Collector Leon Black. This article was authored by Alex Greenberger.
35:01
Speaker 1: Leon Black, a billionaire investor and art collector, is once
35:05
Speaker 1: again the subject of scrutiny for his relationship to Jeffrey Epstein,
35:08
Speaker 1: the late financier convicted of sex trafficking. At the end
35:13
Speaker 1: of July, Ron Wyden, a Democratic senator from Oregon who
35:16
Speaker 1: sits on the Senate Finance Committee, called on the Internal
35:20
Speaker 1: Revenue Service to investigate what Wyden described as suspicious transactions
35:25
Speaker 1: involving alleged tax planning work performed by Jeffrey Epstein for
35:30
Speaker 1: Leon Black. And I told you at the time that
35:34
Speaker 1: this was nothing but fraud. There is zero reason for
35:37
Speaker 1: a guy like Leon Black, who is at the helm
35:40
Speaker 1: of Apollo fucking Global, to need any kind of advice
35:44
Speaker 1: from Jeffrey Epstein about anything. Apollo Global is one of
35:49
Speaker 1: the most massive companies in the whole ass world. And
35:52
Speaker 1: they have more money than they know what to do with.
35:55
Speaker 1: You really think that somebody like Leon Black needs Captain
35:58
Speaker 1: Egg Dick to help him with his taxes? Unless, of course,
36:01
Speaker 1: you mean to help him hide that money so he
36:04
Speaker 1: doesn't have to pay taxes, because that's obviously what was
36:07
Speaker 1: going on here. It's the same thing they do with
36:09
Speaker 1: the high-end art market. They buy all these paintings, they
36:13
Speaker 1: buy all this art, and then they have no kind
36:16
Speaker 1: of accountability for where their money's at. And of course
36:18
Speaker 1: that money can't be tracked, so it can't be taxed.
36:21
Speaker 1: And it's laughable to think that the IRS had no
36:24
Speaker 1: idea what was going on. They most certainly did. They
36:27
Speaker 1: looked the other way. The question is, why? In a
36:32
Speaker 1: letter to the IRS submitted on July 31st, Wyden accused
36:36
Speaker 1: the organization of having failed over the course of many
36:39
Speaker 1: years to audit major tax transactions involving Epstein. and denounced
36:44
Speaker 1: what he described as transactions amounting to tens of millions
36:47
Speaker 1: of dollars paid to known criminal for the purpose of
36:51
Speaker 1: helping a mega-wealthy individual dodge billions in taxes. Wyden called
36:56
Speaker 1: for the IRS to supply more information by September 1st
37:00
Speaker 1: of all the investigations going on or so-called investigations going on.
37:05
Speaker 1: This is the one that could really lead to pay dirt.
37:07
Speaker 1: Follow the money. I know it's cliche, right? I know
37:11
Speaker 1: we talk about it all the time, pretty much no
37:13
Speaker 1: matter what's going on. But here especially, if you follow
37:17
Speaker 1: the money, you're going to hit pay dirt. And the
37:20
Speaker 1: people that were transferring money in this kind of amount
37:24
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein, well, all of those people have some
37:27
Speaker 1: explaining to do as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately for me,
37:32
Speaker 1: and for everybody else who's interested, I'm not in charge.
37:37
Speaker 1: But if I was, you better believe I'd have an
37:40
Speaker 1: army of forensic accountants diving into every bit of paperwork,
37:43
Speaker 1: looking at every transaction that's ever been made. And if
37:47
Speaker 1: there's anything that's illegal, I'd hold everybody accountable. Unfortunately, back
37:52
Speaker 1: in reality, that's not how things work. The letter was
37:55
Speaker 1: sent to Billy Long, who was appointed Commissioner of the
37:58
Speaker 1: IRS by Trump. On August 8th, Trump replaced Long with
38:02
Speaker 1: Treasury Secretary Scott Besson. Black has previously been the subject
38:07
Speaker 1: of Epstein-related investigations, In 2020, Black wrote in a letter
38:11
Speaker 1: to shareholders at Apollo Global Management, the investment firm he co-founded,
38:16
Speaker 1: that he and Epstein had engaged in estate planning, tax,
38:19
Speaker 1: and philanthropic endeavors. An investigation the next year found that
38:24
Speaker 1: Black was not involved in Epstein's criminal activities, though it
38:27
Speaker 1: did state that Black had paid $ 158 million between 2012
38:30
Speaker 1: and 2017. I'm sure that was just for the advice, right?
38:38
Speaker 1: What kind of advice do you think you're going to
38:40
Speaker 1: get for $ 158 million? That's more than Fortune 500 CEOs
38:46
Speaker 1: are making, right? Why is he sending so much money
38:50
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein? Especially considering Epstein's not offering any kind
38:54
Speaker 1: of service. And as far as the investigation goes, it
38:57
Speaker 1: was an internal investigation. Oh, they hired an outside company,
39:00
Speaker 1: of course, but come on, really? Does anyone really believe
39:04
Speaker 1: these internal investigations ever exist? turn up anything worthwhile? Of
39:09
Speaker 1: course they don't. The idea is a cover story, just
39:12
Speaker 1: like with this whole congressional bullshit that we're seeing right now.
39:15
Speaker 1: Same concept. A spokesperson for Black directed Art News to
39:20
Speaker 1: the investigation and said in a statement that the inquiry
39:23
Speaker 1: concluded that Mr. Black had not engaged in any wrongdoing,
39:27
Speaker 1: had no awareness of Epstein's criminal activity, and all of
39:30
Speaker 1: the fees were paid for legitimate tax, estate, and philanthropy
39:35
Speaker 1: planning services, and were vetted and approved by outside law firms.
39:39
Speaker 1: Outside law firms that they paid. They always like to
39:42
Speaker 1: leave that part out, right? They hired these law firms
39:45
Speaker 1: to come in and quote-unquote take a look. I'm sure
39:48
Speaker 1: there was no backroom deal, right? I'm sure nobody sat
39:51
Speaker 1: down and said, this is what I want you to
39:52
Speaker 1: find and we'll give you X amount of dollars. Black
39:57
Speaker 1: is widely considered one of the world's top art collectors,
40:00
Speaker 1: appearing on Art News' Top 200 Collectors list each year
40:03
Speaker 1: since 1997. He was formerly the chair of the board
40:07
Speaker 1: of the Museum of Modern Art, a position that he
40:10
Speaker 1: left as the Epstein proceeding continued on. He remains a
40:13
Speaker 1: trustee at the museum. Does anyone out there really believe
40:17
Speaker 1: that this man paid that kind of money for advice
40:20
Speaker 1: from Jeffrey Epstein? And if so, let's see some documentation.
40:24
Speaker 1: Let's see the paperwork. And hopefully with this letter that
40:28
Speaker 1: was sent to the IRS, we get to see some
40:30
Speaker 1: of that. Now, I don't know if we'll get to
40:32
Speaker 1: see it publicly. And considering that we have a big
40:35
Speaker 1: problem with transparency, I have my doubts that anything will
40:38
Speaker 1: come of this. But this is the right path to
40:40
Speaker 1: be on. 100%. Because the money paper trail, it doesn't lie.
40:46
Speaker 1: It's going to lead you directly to the people that
40:48
Speaker 1: were in business and that were profiting from that business
40:52
Speaker 1: when it comes to Epstein. And those people, they should
40:55
Speaker 1: have to answer for all of it. The question is,
40:58
Speaker 1: will they? All of the information that goes with this
41:02
Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box.
