Latest / Luke's English Podcast / S1E1 - Case Summary of the Murder of Jody Kilgore(M4A_128K)
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: On Monday October sixth, twenty fourteen, George Kilgore, referred to
- 0:08Speaker 1: as Jody by friends and family, was supposed to work
- 0:11Speaker 1: a small job with his former business partner Joe Gregory
- 0:16Speaker 1: known as Toby. That morning, Jody's wife, Susan Kilgore, left
- 0:21Speaker 1: their home in Crawfordville, Florida, to teach at the local preschool.
- 0:26Speaker 1: According to sources, Toby Gregory was supposed to pick Jody
- 0:32Speaker 1: up so they could travel to the worksite together, because
- 0:35Speaker 1: at the time, Jody did not have a driver's license.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Toby lived just around the corner from Jody. Multiple sources
- 0:43Speaker 1: reported that no one else was at the Kilgore residence
- 0:45Speaker 1: that morning. According to news reports, at ten twenty one am,
- 0:50Speaker 1: a phone call was made to nine to one one.
- 0:53Speaker 1: This call was made by Toby Gregory from the Kilgore residence.
- 0:58Speaker 1: At ten thirty six am, the corner declared Jody Kilgore
- 1:02Speaker 1: deceased at the scene of his residence. This is a
- 1:06Speaker 1: very tight timeline, indicating that the event had likely occurred
- 1:11Speaker 1: some time between seven and seven thirty when reports state
- 1:15Speaker 1: that missus Kilgore left for work and the nine to
- 1:17Speaker 1: one one call was made by mister Gregory at ten
- 1:21Speaker 1: twenty one am. Family members of mister Kilbore were made
- 1:26Speaker 1: aware by law enforcement, and they gathered at mister Kilgore's
- 1:29Speaker 1: mother's house before traveling to the Sheriff's office. At that time,
- 1:34Speaker 1: according to mister Kilgore's family, they were apprised that Jody
- 1:37Speaker 1: had been murdered. According to news reports, shortly before ten am,
- 1:43Speaker 1: a neighbor reported hearing arguing, but didn't think anything of
- 1:47Speaker 1: it until law enforcement arrived on scene. Jody Kilgore was
- 1:52Speaker 1: a master electrician and co owner of Kilbour and Gregory, LLC,
- 1:56Speaker 1: a local business that had dissolved two years before the homicide.
- 2:00Speaker 1: He was also known as an avid fisherman and a
- 2:02Speaker 1: dedicated family man. Those are the facts as we currently
- 2:07Speaker 1: know them, and due to this case being an open
- 2:09Speaker 1: and active case, we have not yet been able to
- 2:11Speaker 1: gather any additional information from law enforcement. My name is Elisa,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and what brings me to this case is my love
- 2:34Speaker 1: for true crime. This started for me in the eighties
- 2:38Speaker 1: and nineties when two big cases came out that were
- 2:42Speaker 1: in the public eye. The first case for me that
- 2:45Speaker 1: really brought me to true crime was the Menendez case
- 2:48Speaker 1: and if you follow true crime at all, you know
- 2:50Speaker 1: that this case is currently in the news. In twenty
- 2:53Speaker 1: twenty five, well right after that was the OJ Simpson case,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and many of us who are and my generation watched
- 3:01Speaker 1: that case on TV. We watched how that case ended
- 3:07Speaker 1: and all the things that happened in California as a
- 3:10Speaker 1: result of that case. Those are the two cases that
- 3:13Speaker 1: really brought me to true crime. And then fast forward
- 3:16Speaker 1: to about three years ago, this new medium called podcasts
- 3:20Speaker 1: came out. I had never heard of a podcast. My
- 3:23Speaker 1: sister in law said, you should listen to these podcasts,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and so we started listening to podcasts, and of course,
- 3:31Speaker 1: with my love of true crime. The first podcast I
- 3:35Speaker 1: ever listened to another one that people in the true
- 3:38Speaker 1: crime world really know and love is Sereal, of course,
- 3:42Speaker 1: another case that is very very well known and currently
- 3:46Speaker 1: in the news. A couple of other podcasts that really
- 3:50Speaker 1: have stuck with me and I've listened all the way
- 3:52Speaker 1: through are Inhuman, a true crime podcast, and my absolute
- 3:57Speaker 1: favorite is True Crime Bullshit. So that is what brought
- 4:01Speaker 1: me to wanting to do a podcast about true crime.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It really is just my love of true crime that
- 4:06Speaker 1: started years and years ago, and continues.
- 4:09Speaker 2: To this day. Yeah, And what was interesting for me
- 4:13Speaker 2: is I'd never really followed true crime. And you know, Alisa,
- 4:17Speaker 2: whenever she we would travel, you know, we'd end up,
- 4:20Speaker 2: you know, listening to podcasts, and of course she would
- 4:23Speaker 2: somehow inherently travel us to a location, and then while
- 4:28Speaker 2: we're enjoying our time in the outdoor, she's like, oh,
- 4:31Speaker 2: you know, Israel Keys, you know, buried a body around here.
- 4:34Speaker 2: And I was like, great, so this is this is
- 4:36Speaker 2: where we're at. Or you know, we'd be in you know,
- 4:38Speaker 2: a National park, and so I would hear, you know, hey,
- 4:41Speaker 2: by the way, you know, I was listening to National
- 4:43Speaker 2: Park after dark on the way to this park, and
- 4:47Speaker 2: you know, then we're finding ourselves on the trail where
- 4:51Speaker 2: this giant bear attack happened. And I was like, great, thanks,
- 4:53Speaker 2: you know, so now you know, but you know, over
- 4:56Speaker 2: time what ended up happening was I started to develop
- 4:59Speaker 2: a real interest in listening to true crime. And you know,
- 5:02Speaker 2: the more and more we got into it, I finally
- 5:04Speaker 2: mentioned to Alisa here that I said, do you realize
- 5:08Speaker 2: there's a there's a unsolved murder in my family and
- 5:14Speaker 2: so I'm actually related to the Kildgar family. Susan Kilgore
- 5:19Speaker 2: is my aunt on you know, on my dad's side,
- 5:23Speaker 2: and you know, it's one of those things that the
- 5:26Speaker 2: more we looked into it, the more interested we got,
- 5:29Speaker 2: and we felt thought maybe maybe even to help out
- 5:33Speaker 2: the family, you know, getting getting more people talking and
- 5:37Speaker 2: picking an an alternative like podcasting on it to get
- 5:41Speaker 2: the message out to more and more people may actually
- 5:43Speaker 2: help increase conversations about it. Maybe people who have been
- 5:47Speaker 2: unwilling to talk come forward. Even law enforcing themselves have
- 5:51Speaker 2: said that they're kind of at a standstill in this
- 5:54Speaker 2: case until the public helps. Well, this is our chance
- 5:58Speaker 2: to do that. And this is why Lee and I
- 6:00Speaker 2: decided to start putting together this podcast to to really
- 6:04Speaker 2: kind of dive into this case in a way that
- 6:08Speaker 2: was you know, meaningful and in a way that kind
- 6:11Speaker 2: of you know, showed the facts, talked about the rumors.
- 6:15Speaker 2: We're going to try to involve as many interviews as
- 6:17Speaker 2: we can to the people that were directly and somewhat
- 6:19Speaker 2: indirectly involved, you know, family members, friends, as much as
- 6:25Speaker 2: we can to put as you know, as much information
- 6:28Speaker 2: out there in the public as we can, and we're
- 6:31Speaker 2: hoping that this helps. We're hoping this this you know,
- 6:34Speaker 2: solves the case, you know, closes the case that's been
- 6:37Speaker 2: you know, unsolved for so many years, and it be
- 6:40Speaker 2: also it being the only unsolved murder in this county anyway.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So realistically, you know, I have tons of questions, you know,
- 6:50Speaker 2: one of one of the things that comes up, you know,
- 6:52Speaker 2: in this because there's there's a lot known, but there's
- 6:54Speaker 2: a lot not known, and then there's there's it's a
- 6:57Speaker 2: difficult under difficult to understand difference between what's fact, what's rumor,
- 7:02Speaker 2: what's just flat out fiction, and where all that comes from.
- 7:06Speaker 3: So do we have an established timeline? Do we know the.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Last time we saw Jodie and then the nine to
- 7:14Speaker 2: one one call? At this point we know that he's
- 7:16Speaker 2: likely deceived.
- 7:19Speaker 1: It's really difficult to tell. As we mentioned sort of
- 7:23Speaker 1: at the end of the case summary, this is an
- 7:25Speaker 1: active case and so we have not been able to
- 7:28Speaker 1: access any lease reports anything like that that would give
- 7:34Speaker 1: us a tighter timeline, nor do any of the news reports.
- 7:36Speaker 1: There have been a handful of reporters who have covered
- 7:40Speaker 1: this case, maybe three or four that we've seen in
- 7:42Speaker 1: the local newspapers and the local TV and every single
- 7:47Speaker 1: time they interview someone from law enforcement and they say,
- 7:53Speaker 1: you know, this is an active case. We can't release
- 7:56Speaker 1: you any information this time. So everything that we're able
- 7:59Speaker 1: to tell from the perspective of timeline, it is from
- 8:04Speaker 1: newspapers and the time of the nine one one call,
- 8:10Speaker 1: which we know to be ten twenty one am according
- 8:12Speaker 1: to newspaper reports, and the time of death, which was
- 8:18Speaker 1: also in a report at ten thirty six am. As
- 8:23Speaker 1: far as when.
- 8:26Speaker 3: He was declared dead on site.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Though correct, yes, yeah, from the time from when the
- 8:30Speaker 1: phone call was made at ten twenty one to when
- 8:33Speaker 1: the coroner declared him dead is fifteen.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Minutes wow one to ten thirty, which without having crime
- 8:39Speaker 2: scene photos that we can review, it's probably safe to
- 8:41Speaker 2: say that, you know, there was no question when law
- 8:45Speaker 2: enforcement got there that they it was really more of
- 8:47Speaker 2: a formality to declare him.
- 8:49Speaker 3: That he had passed away.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Right, as far as what we know the timeline of
- 8:53Speaker 1: like an open window for the event to happen, we
- 8:57Speaker 1: know from interviewing family members that his wife of your aunt, Susie,
- 9:05Speaker 1: generally left the house between seven and seven thirty every
- 9:08Speaker 1: morning to go to work. We're not aware that there
- 9:12Speaker 1: was anybody else in the home at that time other
- 9:15Speaker 1: than her and Jody, And so it seems that somewhere
- 9:19Speaker 1: between seven am to ten twenty one or seven thirty
- 9:23Speaker 1: am to ten twenty one is when the event happened.
- 9:28Speaker 1: The one other thing that we were able to discover
- 9:31Speaker 1: again through news reports is that shortly before ten am,
- 9:36Speaker 1: a neighbor said he'd heard arguing. That's in one of
- 9:39Speaker 1: the reports. So, I mean, that's the only information we have.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It's not a busy street. It's not like people were
- 9:48Speaker 1: traveling up and down the street all the time. You'll
- 9:50Speaker 1: talk a little bit about what the neighborhood looks like.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Yeah, we can talk about that now.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I mean one of the things that stuck out to
- 9:55Speaker 2: me is, you know, during the research we were doing,
- 10:00Speaker 2: you know, we found you know, several references to this
- 10:03Speaker 2: was a cul de sac. And so when I think
- 10:04Speaker 2: of a cul de sac, I think of something that's
- 10:06Speaker 2: kind of an around or oval shape and then you
- 10:08Speaker 2: can kind of see everyone's front yard.
- 10:10Speaker 3: That's what everyone envisions the traditional cul de sac to be.
- 10:13Speaker 2: But if you go actually look at the overhead Google
- 10:16Speaker 2: map of this area, I think a cul de sac
- 10:18Speaker 2: is not a great way to describe this area. It's
- 10:21Speaker 2: better to describe this area more of a dead end.
- 10:23Speaker 2: And they own the house at the end of a
- 10:25Speaker 2: dead end road, and it's pretty offset from the other
- 10:30Speaker 2: neighbor's house. If you look around, it's pretty heavily wooded,
- 10:34Speaker 2: it's not really aligned with other houses. And so it's
- 10:38Speaker 2: feasible to assume that it was pretty difficult for neighbors
- 10:42Speaker 2: to see the front yard, I mean, without you know,
- 10:46Speaker 2: responding to the arguing. And what's interesting is do we
- 10:50Speaker 2: know a timeline when that argument was.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Reported, the neighbors said shortly before ten am, but he
- 10:55Speaker 1: didn't really think anything about it, according to the news report,
- 10:58Speaker 1: until massive amounts of law enforcement showed up.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Okay, so what makes that even more interesting is, you know,
- 11:05Speaker 2: if you want to jump to a conclusion, which I
- 11:07Speaker 2: think we're really too early for that right now, you
- 11:11Speaker 2: could actually shrink the timeline from a three to three
- 11:14Speaker 2: and a half hours down to almost thirty minutes if
- 11:19Speaker 2: you make that assumption. You know, what's the only people
- 11:23Speaker 2: The only person we know there was Toby who did
- 11:25Speaker 2: the actual call, you know, because we believe at this
- 11:29Speaker 2: point the house was empty. It was reported that the
- 11:32Speaker 2: house was locked and Jody was waiting to be picked
- 11:36Speaker 2: up for this job. So yeah, I mean it's pretty
- 11:42Speaker 2: it's a pretty tight time, like if you believe that's
- 11:45Speaker 2: you know, again, that's all speculation. Now, that's not not
- 11:47Speaker 2: confirmed because again we don't have access to law enforcement report.
- 11:52Speaker 2: So other than Toby, though, do we know anyone else
- 11:56Speaker 2: was at the house supposed to be at.
- 11:59Speaker 3: The house to at the house? Do we know anything
- 12:02Speaker 3: like that?
- 12:05Speaker 1: The kill Gores have two sons. What has been reported
- 12:11Speaker 1: to us is that one of the sons was either
- 12:15Speaker 1: gone for the day or out of town, and that
- 12:18Speaker 1: the other son was away. We don't have a lot
- 12:22Speaker 1: of information about where either of those adult children were.
- 12:27Speaker 3: At the time, right, and so no one else was
- 12:29Speaker 3: at the house.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Susie was at work, and we know she was contacted
- 12:34Speaker 2: at work by her sister.
- 12:38Speaker 1: So from what we can currently gather, the Kilgore family
- 12:46Speaker 1: all gathered at Jodie's mother's house and from there they
- 12:50Speaker 1: went to the sheriff's office. Now Susie's family is a
- 12:54Speaker 1: little different. Her sister, Brenda, was notified and then Brenda
- 12:59Speaker 1: either went to the school where Susie was teaching or
- 13:02Speaker 1: called this school and that is how Susan was notified.
- 13:07Speaker 2: That seems strange to me. So do we know why
- 13:10Speaker 2: Brenda was notified in not Susie. That's a question I
- 13:14Speaker 2: haven't thought to ask yet.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Well, and I don't know.
- 13:16Speaker 1: That we even know that that's accurate. We have not
- 13:19Speaker 1: yet had a chance to speak with either Brenda or
- 13:23Speaker 1: Susie regarding what that day, what they experienced that day.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Right, So yeah, I mean, as you can tell anyone
- 13:33Speaker 2: who's listening right now, you can tell that there's not
- 13:35Speaker 2: a ton here as far as what's been reported. So
- 13:37Speaker 2: one of the approaches that you know, we decided to
- 13:40Speaker 2: take with this podcast is really just start interviewing the
- 13:44Speaker 2: various people in the family and you're going to start
- 13:46Speaker 2: hearing that in some of the next episodes. One of
- 13:50Speaker 2: the people we've already interviewed is Robin Stevens, and that
- 13:54Speaker 2: is Jodie's sister. She's been instrumental and keeping the message
- 13:59Speaker 2: out there. She organizes vigils things like that. You know,
- 14:04Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to sharing excerpts from her interview because
- 14:07Speaker 2: it was extremely forthcoming and very very heartfelt as far
- 14:12Speaker 2: as you know, really trying to figure out what happened.
- 14:16Speaker 2: We're also expecting to hear from a number of other people,
- 14:18Speaker 2: but will wait to give those names once they're confirmed
- 14:20Speaker 2: for interviews. We're also going to be diving into some
- 14:23Speaker 2: of the previous people who've done various investigations from the
- 14:26Speaker 2: new side and getting you know, some information from them.
- 14:31Speaker 2: But the direction we're going to take this now is,
- 14:34Speaker 2: you know, what is known.
- 14:35Speaker 3: In the community.
- 14:36Speaker 2: One thing that you have to know about this area.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Of Waukala County, specifically at Crawfordville.
- 14:43Speaker 2: This is one of those small towns that everyone knows everybody,
- 14:46Speaker 2: you know, even my grandmother. If you ask about my
- 14:49Speaker 2: grandmother's name, everyone knows who this person is. In fact,
- 14:53Speaker 2: so much so I'm surprised she's never been the mayor.
- 14:56Speaker 2: And so that was one of the things that really
- 14:59Speaker 2: stuck out, I think specifically to me, I'm not sure
- 15:02Speaker 2: how you felt about it, but I'm like, you know,
- 15:06Speaker 2: somebody knows something. I mean, this is too small of
- 15:08Speaker 2: a community. And it's been interesting to hear a lot
- 15:13Speaker 2: of these rumors that will be sharing in the future
- 15:15Speaker 2: because there's there's connections to you know, various you know, infidelity,
- 15:22Speaker 2: There's been references to potentially drugs. There's been references to
- 15:29Speaker 2: you know, well you name it. I mean, and what's
- 15:31Speaker 2: interesting is if you dig in those directions, you can
- 15:35Speaker 2: find stuff. But is it relative, is it relevant?
- 15:39Speaker 3: Excuse me?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Or is it not? I mean, is it one of
- 15:41Speaker 2: those things that this is the thing that breaks the case?
- 15:44Speaker 2: Or was this a random crime? You know and Jody
- 15:48Speaker 2: was in the wrong place at the wrong time, having
- 15:51Speaker 2: the wrong argument. I mean, hell, that's even one of
- 15:54Speaker 2: the rumers is this was a random case dealing with theft.
- 15:59Speaker 3: It was.
- 15:59Speaker 2: It was brought up that there was maybe copper theft involved,
- 16:03Speaker 2: you know, for something that was on the truck.
- 16:05Speaker 3: But you know when you dig into that that even.
- 16:08Speaker 2: That rumor doesn't really have a lot of legs to it.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You can't talk about the rumors for a second. In
- 16:13Speaker 1: a small town like you just were discussing, people talk
- 16:15Speaker 1: at the Dairy Queen, right right, People see each other
- 16:18Speaker 1: at you know, what is that place called the huddle
- 16:21Speaker 1: house and all these little places. Right What happens now
- 16:24Speaker 1: with social media is people start talking about rumors on Facebook.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So as we get further into this, we will talk
- 16:31Speaker 1: more about some of the things we're uncovering. Just by
- 16:34Speaker 1: doing simple Facebook searches associated with Wacola County, associated with
- 16:42Speaker 1: the Sheriff's department. And so this chatter and rumor stuff
- 16:48Speaker 1: that normally has to go like from person to person
- 16:50Speaker 1: to person, it's literally out there right on Facebook where
- 16:53Speaker 1: we can read it and start connecting the dots and
- 16:56Speaker 1: start talking to people.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, what's you know.
- 17:00Speaker 2: One of the things that we will dive into as
- 17:02Speaker 2: well is and that we found super interesting is this
- 17:05Speaker 2: is unrelated. But we started asking questions and trying to
- 17:09Speaker 2: set up interviews and various conversations with people that we
- 17:12Speaker 2: know that we thought, you know, either they knew something
- 17:16Speaker 2: or they had a story to share, or they.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Just so they lived.
- 17:22Speaker 2: They live, and they live and interact with the community,
- 17:24Speaker 2: and so they hear things.
- 17:25Speaker 3: And so.
- 17:28Speaker 2: While we were doing that, the news in Tallahassee actually
- 17:33Speaker 2: was doing a report of their own, kind of a
- 17:34Speaker 2: follow up report. We're hoping to get more information and
- 17:38Speaker 2: what you know, what you know, you know spawned that
- 17:41Speaker 2: idea because it's not associated with what we normally see
- 17:44Speaker 2: these reports with, you know, being either his birthday or
- 17:48Speaker 2: his death associated with the vigils. When you normally see
- 17:50Speaker 2: these follow up reports. This one was random. So my
- 17:53Speaker 2: question is one, Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 1: The last time it looks like any TV news report
- 17:57Speaker 1: had occurred was twenty twenty one, and so you know,
- 18:01Speaker 1: the ten year anniversary of his passing was last year,
- 18:05Speaker 1: right in October. So why now in the spring of
- 18:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty five do we have the Tallahassee station coming
- 18:12Speaker 1: down and you know, talking to people and doing report
- 18:15Speaker 1: like not that I'm like, ins, I think it's great
- 18:17Speaker 1: because that is exactly what we need. But you know
- 18:21Speaker 1: what spurred that?
- 18:22Speaker 2: Right?
- 18:22Speaker 1: What did they have something? Anyway, We're hoping to talk
- 18:26Speaker 1: to that reporter here in the next couple of days.
- 18:29Speaker 2: So as far as next steps, I mean, one of
- 18:31Speaker 2: the things that we're preparing for is setting up additional interviews.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Is like I said mentioned before, we're looking to talk
- 18:39Speaker 2: about some of these rumors more publicly to figure out,
- 18:42Speaker 2: you know, is there any you know, any relationship. Is
- 18:45Speaker 2: it just rumor? Is there some fact in there? Who
- 18:49Speaker 2: are some of the people that have been most prominent
- 18:52Speaker 2: and keeping that word out and hearing from them and
- 18:55Speaker 2: you know, kind of hearing their story. I mean, even me,
- 18:57Speaker 2: I mean, one of the stories that I'd like to share.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Is I was.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I was real young when I met Jody the first time.
- 19:02Speaker 2: And you know, one of the things that always sticks
- 19:05Speaker 2: out to me is, you know, we would be collect
- 19:09Speaker 2: getting together over whatever type of event, you know, some
- 19:11Speaker 2: kind of family reunion or just some of a family
- 19:13Speaker 2: event over at MEMA's houses. You know what we called her, obviously,
- 19:17Speaker 2: but anybody in the South knows what a Mema is,
- 19:20Speaker 2: you know, people who maybe listening to the North or
- 19:23Speaker 2: if they may go, what is that? But you know,
- 19:27Speaker 2: I remember the biggest memory I have of Joey, not Joey.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm Jody.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Is. I guess it was Joey and Jody because they
- 19:37Speaker 2: were coming together, to be to be technical about that,
- 19:39Speaker 2: but I remember, you know, the adults would show up
- 19:43Speaker 2: and then they would go in the house.
- 19:44Speaker 3: And they would kind of dump their kids off in
- 19:46Speaker 3: the backyard.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Well, Jody didn't do that.
- 19:49Speaker 3: You know.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Jody would show up and he would you know, throw
- 19:52Speaker 2: something down on the ground for Joey to sit on,
- 19:55Speaker 2: because Joey was tiny at this point, you know, and
- 20:00Speaker 2: he would play with us. He would he would he
- 20:02Speaker 2: would throw the ball, he would hang out in the backyard.
- 20:04Speaker 2: He was interested in making sure he had some time
- 20:08Speaker 2: with the kids in the backyard having fun, whether it
- 20:11Speaker 2: was playing tag or you know, just just hanging out.
- 20:14Speaker 3: And that's my memory of him.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I wish I had more memory of him, because I
- 20:18Speaker 2: moved away, and so I don't have much more than that.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And I think I was either nine or ten during this,
- 20:25Speaker 2: but I remember he was one of the adults that
- 20:28Speaker 2: took time with us, and I remember him being really
- 20:31Speaker 2: nice and friendly and just a just a great person.
- 20:35Speaker 2: And so to have this happen to someone that I,
- 20:38Speaker 2: you know, really had in high regard, and it would
- 20:40Speaker 2: really you know, because think about it, I'm fifty years
- 20:42Speaker 2: old now, that's you know, you know, forty years ago
- 20:45Speaker 2: for me, and I remember that, and so that obviously
- 20:48Speaker 2: meant it was some It was impactful for me to
- 20:50Speaker 2: have that memory so many years later, and I think
- 20:54Speaker 2: it's horrible as happened to him, and I'm I want
- 20:56Speaker 2: to help.
