- 9:21Speaker 1: Yes, wait, that isn't a coffee cup. No, there's no
- 9:25Speaker 1: coffee apparently in flow Rider. I don't know you lived here.
- 9:29Speaker 1: He's got a coffee cup. That says, well, it's not
- 9:33Speaker 1: a coffee cup either, but it's pretty cool.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Oh, later on we'll get to what this is.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Oh you should that's that's a good story. Brian will

- 10:11Speaker 1: him something funny.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Tell him something funny, something funny.
- 10:17Speaker 4: I won't name names, because well, I'm not that kind
- 10:20Speaker 4: of guy, but I had a friend today who accidentally
- 10:24Speaker 4: got some icy hot on his balls. Well, how does
- 10:28Speaker 4: it even happen while drying himself after a shower?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Yeah? Wow, hopefully they've they've been on here before.
- 10:38Speaker 4: If he wants to tell this story, this is definitely
- 10:40Speaker 4: a story we're telling, even if he sends it by
- 10:42Speaker 4: text or says logan, tell the story, I will tell it.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I feel like if they want to come in live
- 10:47Speaker 2: on the interview for the story, we could do like
- 10:49Speaker 2: a breaking news send an invite. So, whoever this person is,
- 10:54Speaker 2: if you want to talk about the unfortunate situation that
- 10:57Speaker 2: was the icy Hot incident.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Of twenty.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Me in tears today. It's great, but.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Today were in tears too. At least we know it's
- 11:05Speaker 1: a boy spoiler, all right, So let's go. Let's go
- 11:12Speaker 1: what's in my beard?
- 11:14Speaker 3: Look at the comments.
- 11:16Speaker 1: But I'm just trying to transition over. Tell the story.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Tell the story out a boy, a boy.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Tell the story. The story is great. Okay, interrupt this
- 11:25Speaker 2: program for breaking news, the breaking news.
- 11:29Speaker 4: I don't have any this just in, okay, So I'll
- 11:34Speaker 4: do a quick story about my friend John. John goes
- 11:40Speaker 4: takes a shower this morning. Okay, Uh, wifey has had
- 11:44Speaker 4: some neck and back problems. Has been using the icy
- 11:47Speaker 4: hot as we all have for neck, back and whatever problems.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Right, So John gets out of the shower and says, ah,
- 11:54Speaker 3: forgot my towel. Rhaps a towel.
- 12:02Speaker 4: He's drying it all right, drying it all, goes upstairs,
- 12:08Speaker 4: gets ready to get dressed, and realizes that, hey, hey, feel.
- 12:15Speaker 3: A little icy hot here being a little a little cool,
- 12:17Speaker 3: little hot.
- 12:18Speaker 4: At the same time, and then it starts to just
- 12:20Speaker 4: sink in, right, and he's like, now he's a little
- 12:25Speaker 4: upset about about the feeling that he has in his undercarriage.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Yep. And so he calls up the wife and says, hey,
- 12:32Speaker 3: did you buy any chance.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Wipe your hands off on the on the towel this morning?
- 12:39Speaker 4: And she's like, yep, sure did. Within a few minutes,
- 12:49Speaker 4: he is seconds away from calling into work because his
- 12:52Speaker 4: balls are on fire.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so it was more hot than icy, I take it.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, we've all had the icy hot.
- 13:01Speaker 4: If you played soccer, played the sports in high school,
- 13:04Speaker 4: you all have to think. But when you're a grown
- 13:06Speaker 4: ass man and not expecting this and you have to
- 13:09Speaker 4: be to work in a few minutes, this is all right.
- 13:12Speaker 3: I'm not a grown ass man, but I had the
- 13:14Speaker 3: icy hot in soccer.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Anyways. Uh, that's gotta be the most uncomfortable thing. He's like, dude,
- 13:19Speaker 4: I was seconds away from calling into work. That's great,
- 13:24Speaker 4: that's a great story.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I would you have called it?
- 13:29Speaker 3: Like?
- 13:29Speaker 2: All right, John, what would you have told your boss
- 13:31Speaker 2: the reason for calling in? Would you have would you
- 13:33Speaker 2: have told him the real truth? Or would have you
- 13:35Speaker 2: kind of like, uh, kid, if.
- 13:38Speaker 4: He calls her, if he had called in, she would
- 13:40Speaker 4: have believed it if if I had done that, and
- 13:43Speaker 4: she and and called her the boss who we have
- 13:46Speaker 4: to call. She would have been like, first off, just
- 13:51Speaker 4: another excuse, because that's probably how she thinks to me,
- 13:53Speaker 4: which is okay, which I don't make. I just I
- 13:57Speaker 4: just live a random morning every day. But at the
- 14:00Speaker 4: same time, like that's a lit Oh, yes, the frozen piece.
- 14:04Speaker 4: That's right, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Johnny, the frozen piece.
- 14:07Speaker 4: He had to put frozen peas on his sack.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Let me guess what you had for lunch?
- 14:14Speaker 3: I did not have today. Nope.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Although if John had brought that frozen bag of peas in,
- 14:19Speaker 4: I would have eaten it for lunch because I love peace.
- 14:23Speaker 1: John did you eat the peace?
- 14:25Speaker 3: John probably did tonight for dinner.
- 14:28Speaker 1: John did the peace? Wow. And that concludes breaking news.
- 14:34Speaker 4: And I'm like, I'd like to thank John Wilson and
- 14:37Speaker 4: Sharing for sharing that story.
- 14:41Speaker 2: By the way, don't try to one up next week
- 14:46Speaker 2: that that might be that might be sad for you.
- 14:49Speaker 3: No.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, so uh wow, speaking of peas, because peas is food, why.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Don't we transition to what's in my beard? I think
- 15:02Speaker 2: I spelled the wrong.
- 15:03Speaker 1: There's no peas in there, but we oh, we can
- 15:06Speaker 1: get rid of breaking news. There's no more breaking.
- 15:09Speaker 2: News, so down here in Flo Rida, we had a
- 15:13Speaker 2: place called Anchors Bar and Grill, and I had a
- 15:16Speaker 2: pretty unique burger that my uncle Mike still can't believe
- 15:19Speaker 2: that I ate. And it was a peanut butter and
- 15:21Speaker 2: jelly burger. It comes with hola pinos, which I skipped
- 15:26Speaker 2: out because well, I didn't want a hot incident.
- 15:31Speaker 1: And it came with onions and geez, I don't remember,
- 15:36Speaker 1: but I had peanut butter and jelly and it was
- 15:37Speaker 1: a hamburger.
- 15:38Speaker 2: And yeah, everybody was looking at me like you I'm
- 15:41Speaker 2: gonna tell you what it was amazing? Is anybody else
- 15:43Speaker 2: here had a peanut butter and jelly hamburger. I can't
- 15:45Speaker 2: be the first and the only one.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It was good. It was really good. Of a circle.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Some fries. Shout out Cisco for the frozen fries or
- 15:52Speaker 1: definitely Cisco fry, not a great French fry and not
- 15:55Speaker 1: a terrible French fry. Peanut butter and jelly burger.
- 15:59Speaker 2: And then my poor Mike, he had uh we had
- 16:02Speaker 2: it was like a really hot chicken and it was
- 16:05Speaker 2: really hot, and I told him he couldn't have his
- 16:07Speaker 2: dessert until he finished his meal. And like a good boy,
- 16:11Speaker 2: he finished his meal, and I'm sure he had a
- 16:14Speaker 2: terrible mid afternoon experience, but he.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Had a good, mediocre key line pie. So there's that.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Does anybody else let me check the chance anbody else
- 16:23Speaker 1: had a peanut butter and jelly.
- 16:26Speaker 2: He told me to use frozen hamburger. Somebody hates peas. Oh,
- 16:31Speaker 2: John hates him, so he wasn't eating them.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Shaved the beer.
- 16:35Speaker 1: No, don't shave it. That's enough out of you. Can
- 16:40Speaker 1: I fit my beard?
- 16:40Speaker 3: Oh?
- 16:41Speaker 1: I bet you a lot? Okay? I had peanut butter burger.
- 16:46Speaker 1: See all right, how was it, Michelle? It was pretty good? Right?
- 16:50Speaker 4: Look at look at Sherry's last post posts that that's
- 16:53Speaker 4: a good update too.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Uh oh here, yeah, yes, all the TVs are up
- 17:02Speaker 1: and running nice, awesome. I gotta get over there when
- 17:05Speaker 1: I get back from flow Rider, and we'll do a
- 17:06Speaker 1: video and everything and hopefully they look awesome and they
- 17:09Speaker 1: sound good. And uh, there's potential of extra funding that
- 17:13Speaker 1: has came in, and there's a couple other ideas that

- 19:04Speaker 1: some PPJ burgers for lunch tomorrow, work listen, gonna record it, and.
- 19:08Speaker 2: We're gonna put it on the episode next week. And
- 19:10Speaker 2: everybody in the shop has to take one bite. But

- 19:14Speaker 2: the lamps looking out for you guys if there's anybody,
- 19:20Speaker 2: and there's not even but anybody there but just my
- 19:23Speaker 2: two cents. A lot of things in my day, it's
- 19:26Speaker 2: just I was normal caring. Sharing is caring, but not
- 19:30Speaker 2: in those were.
- 19:31Speaker 3: You couldn't pay me. Okay, I pulled this this prank
- 19:35Speaker 3: before you could pay me a million dollars. All right,

- 19:39Speaker 4: Over, someone gives me a hundred bucks, I might eat
- 19:41Speaker 4: a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Other than that one hundred dollars for a peanut butter
- 19:46Speaker 1: and jelly sandwich.
- 19:47Speaker 4: I hate, I hate peanut butter, peanut butter and mayonnaise.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yep, here's.
- 20:02Speaker 1: That would be pretty good.
- 20:05Speaker 2: All right, We're gonna move on from the what's my
- 20:07Speaker 2: beard because we can you can probably talk about this, hey, Logan, Yes,
- 20:11Speaker 2: I have a buddy who's a rugged ex marine with
- 20:14Speaker 2: a Sultan pepper beard.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You could say he's the seasoned veteran.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Oh nothing, Wow, that's pretty good.

- 20:29Speaker 1: All right.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Uh, we need to we need a band. Just stop
- 20:33Speaker 4: to the side, like Conan or any of those guys.

- 20:39Speaker 4: in a couple of years if we continue to do this,
- 20:40Speaker 4: they will just be.
- 20:43Speaker 3: They will be our laughing band.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Pretty cool with this. It's not the weirdest thing ever.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It was really good. And I know you take a bike,
- 20:52Speaker 2: Logan will take it. One hundred dollars. All right, let's
- 20:56Speaker 2: do featured Beard of the Day. I got a banner
- 20:58Speaker 2: for this.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Uh.
- 21:00Speaker 2: The future Beer of the Day is Eric Weddle from
- 21:03Speaker 2: the Baltimore Ravens, who recently announced his retirement from the
- 21:07Speaker 2: NFL after thirteen seasons, Eric was a not Eric Mitchell.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Eric Weddle was a six time Pro Bowl.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I had some notes. I haven't found them yet, so
- 21:20Speaker 2: bear with me. In an epic beer.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I think I think actually Logan has a picture of it.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Were it's just on my phone to apologize folks.
- 21:28Speaker 4: And Matt usually does all this stuff, but that right there, yeah, Beard.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So Eric Weddle was the big bearded safety.
- 21:35Speaker 2: He was a patrol man, flying about in the secondary,
- 21:38Speaker 2: spearing receivers and swatting a wave pigskins, stepping up in
- 21:41Speaker 2: the run and blowing up ball carriers. Pro Bowl nods
- 21:44Speaker 2: in the last nine season, he was a two team
- 21:47Speaker 2: first team All Pro and led the NFL with interceptions.
- 21:50Speaker 1: In twenty eleven. Thirteen seasons, he compiled eleven hundred and
- 21:54Speaker 1: some tackles almost one hundred passive defender, about thirty interceptions,
- 21:58Speaker 1: not an ass eight force for almost seven recoveries.
- 22:00Speaker 2: It's for five touchdowns in two hundred and one regular
- 22:03Speaker 2: season games. He also added an interception and two quarterback
- 22:07Speaker 2: takedowns in nine coast season bout being a Baltimore Ravens.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Fan, not a big fan of them, being a big
- 22:14Speaker 1: a beard fan, kind of a fan of them. Then
- 22:16Speaker 1: he left Baltimore, went to the Rams, shaved it a
- 22:20Speaker 1: little bit, maybe you know, new organization whatever. But yeah,
- 22:24Speaker 1: he announced his retirement. So congrat I guess, yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Congraduations on retirement and a nice beard.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Yeah that's of a beard. So yeah, that's the featured
- 22:37Speaker 2: beard of the day. If you guys have any recommendations
- 22:40Speaker 2: or if there's any featured beards of the day that
- 22:42Speaker 2: you want to see, just shoot us an email mattebeard
- 22:44Speaker 2: laws dot com, logan a beard laws dot com and
- 22:47Speaker 2: we'll be sure to uh to check them out. I know,
- 22:50Speaker 2: we got a couple of things lined up potentially with
- 22:53Speaker 2: President's Day that we're going to.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Talk about in the next episode.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Ye, there's still more to Yes, definitely an epic beard.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Just like just like a lot of the big beards,
- 23:06Speaker 2: it's still getting forced on the chin. I would imagine,
- 23:08Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't I don't play football, and
- 23:13Speaker 2: I think you have some helmet where you have to
- 23:15Speaker 2: wear a helmet all the time.
- 23:17Speaker 4: There's no chim strap, right, there's no chin strap for
- 23:20Speaker 4: my for my helmet, the one I wear on the
- 23:23Speaker 4: bus and the one I wear on the field.
- 23:26Speaker 3: First base coach, first base coach. There is no there's
- 23:29Speaker 3: no east. This thing needs a trim, there is no
- 23:32Speaker 3: chin strap.
- 23:33Speaker 4: So I don't think I will have it very hard
- 23:35Speaker 4: during baseball season, and I don't think I will get
- 23:39Speaker 4: asked by an umpire if I'm an actual coach or
- 23:44Speaker 4: a child this year.
- 23:46Speaker 1: So I bet you will.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I probably will.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, let's run a couple of quick ads.

- 24:13Speaker 1: between like an Uno and a couple of drinking games

- 26:36Speaker 2: time right now where we would throw in the two
- 26:38Speaker 2: beards one record segment.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Greg. There's no Greg, so we'll probably skip that. I
- 26:46Speaker 1: did go to a record store today, checked it out
- 26:50Speaker 1: really kind of maybe want to buy a bunch of stuff.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Prices were a little too high for me. So that's
- 26:55Speaker 2: our big two Beards one record segment. Because there's no Greg.
- 27:00Speaker 4: Which there is something else music music. My year in
- 27:07Speaker 4: my Thoughts is a music.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 27:10Speaker 2: It's now time for You're in my thoughts. I have
- 27:14Speaker 2: a cool banner there it is You're in my Thoughts
- 27:18Speaker 2: the official shirt of this segment.
- 27:20Speaker 1: If you want your own shirt, dot com get one
- 27:24Speaker 1: of those different colors, different sizes. I think you're wearing
- 27:28Speaker 1: one of child medium.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Yes, I've I've grown, I now have I now have
- 27:32Speaker 4: a of peas and chicken McNugget gut oh.
- 27:37Speaker 1: All right, all right, all right, with a little bit
- 27:39Speaker 1: of Miller lot is all right. It is no time
- 27:42Speaker 1: for hearing my thoughts, so have that.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Let's come all right, you're in my thoughts. Today is
- 27:51Speaker 4: Gord Downy's birthday. Would be Gord Downy's birthday. Gord Downie
- 27:56Speaker 4: was born in sixty four. He passed away in twenty seventeen.
- 27:59Speaker 4: For those of you who do not know, Gordon Downey
- 28:03Speaker 4: was the lead singer of our beloved band, The Tragically Hit.
- 28:07Speaker 4: If you're not from this area, the Tragically hip is
- 28:10Speaker 4: just some weird band name, maybe someone you heard about
- 28:14Speaker 4: once or.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Twice, oh whatever. For people here, it is a They're
- 28:21Speaker 3: a staple.
- 28:22Speaker 4: They're a part of our history, a part of our
- 28:24Speaker 4: culture if you're from Canada or.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Very close to it as we are.
- 28:29Speaker 4: They basically sing every other national anthem you could think of.
- 28:34Speaker 4: There's the American national anthem, the Canadian national anthem, and
- 28:37Speaker 4: whatever your favorite hip song is. I did a little
- 28:40Speaker 4: research only because I didn't want to get these facts wrong,
- 28:44Speaker 4: so fair I knew most of them, also known as
- 28:48Speaker 4: the Hip They're from Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Paul Langua, Rob Baker,
- 28:53Speaker 4: Gordson Claire, Johnny Fay and Gordon Downey made up the
- 28:56Speaker 4: Tragic Cla.
- 28:57Speaker 3: They're for thirty three years. That's a long time to
- 28:59Speaker 3: be in a band.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Uh. They had thirteen albums, also two live albums and
- 29:05Speaker 4: fifty plus singles, nine number one albums in Canada, sixteen
- 29:10Speaker 4: Juno Awards, which is basically the equivalent of a Grammy
- 29:13Speaker 4: in Canada. They were the best selling band ever in
- 29:16Speaker 4: Canada and the number four best artist selling artist ever
- 29:20Speaker 4: in Canada behind a.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Few probably really good ones. Thank god they beat Nickelback,
- 29:25Speaker 3: you just thank god.
- 29:28Speaker 4: Their last concert was on August twentieth, twenty sixteen, and
- 29:30Speaker 4: Gored died on October seventeenth, twenty seventeen. Today's his birthday.
- 29:37Speaker 4: The Verge Channel one seventy three unserious has has tragically
- 29:43Speaker 4: hit today and tomorrow apparently other than now because.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Of a local hockey game, which fair enough. But the Treasury.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Anyone can say, what's your favorite song?
- 29:56Speaker 4: You really don't have one because they have a couple
- 29:58Speaker 4: of different slow song song a cool song. But if
- 30:01Speaker 4: anyone here wants to share their favorite hip songs, please do.
- 30:06Speaker 3: We'll get him on there. But uh, Gord Downey and.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Tragic Lip Nation, Tragic Lip family and all their fans
- 30:12Speaker 4: and especially their family his family, Uh, you're in my thoughts.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Wow, you play like a really long time. I'm proud
- 30:24Speaker 1: of you.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Thanks budd.
- 30:26Speaker 4: When you pee, I'm usually so full it comes out
- 30:31Speaker 4: pretty easy. Gordon never rocked a really good beard because
- 30:38Speaker 4: he couldn't.
- 30:38Speaker 3: That wasn't his thing.
- 30:39Speaker 4: But when Gordon wanted to rock a good, a good
- 30:42Speaker 4: stubble beard, I tried finding some pictures because I remember
- 30:45Speaker 4: seeing pictures I couldn't.
- 30:46Speaker 3: He rocks a really good stubbly gray beard towards the
- 30:49Speaker 3: end of his life.
- 30:50Speaker 4: But uh, if Gordon Downey wanted to rock a beard,
- 30:55Speaker 4: he would have rocked a beard. But playing and simple
- 30:56Speaker 4: Gord downy was the greatest entertain I've ever seen, Bob
- 31:03Speaker 4: Cage and I'm great.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Thanks great.
- 31:06Speaker 1: What's your what's one of your favorite hip songs?
- 31:09Speaker 3: Oh? Man? Uh?
- 31:11Speaker 4: If I want to cry mh probably uh.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Huh Fiddler's Green. Fiddler's Green is is.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Pretty good if I want to, If I want to
- 31:22Speaker 4: kind of like just groove, I'd go with Pigeon Camera.
- 31:26Speaker 4: And if I want to really rock out locked them
- 31:30Speaker 4: in the trunk of a car.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Hmm yep, I'd have to say what mine was. Maybe
- 31:38Speaker 1: Wheat Kings yep, yep. He could have rocked anything.
- 31:44Speaker 4: He could have rocked anything. That's Michelle, You're very correct.
- 31:49Speaker 4: The weird the funny part about all this is that,
- 31:52Speaker 4: of course we're not like we hadn't done some advertising.
- 31:54Speaker 4: We're not live to a lot of our out of state,
- 31:58Speaker 4: non local crowd, which is unfortunate. But it just happened
- 32:03Speaker 4: to be his birthday. So it would have been cool
- 32:05Speaker 4: if if we maybe could have introduced them. So maybe
- 32:07Speaker 4: next week we'll just say, oh, by the way, check
- 32:09Speaker 4: out the tragical leap.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 32:12Speaker 1: So for anybody that's just joining you earn my thoughts
- 32:16Speaker 1: was a thought about Gord from Tragically Hip and today
- 32:22Speaker 1: what have been his birthday? So yeah, so if.
- 32:25Speaker 2: You want, you can come at your favorite hip song.
- 32:27Speaker 2: If you don't want some, you don't have to run
- 32:28Speaker 2: out the boss. You you have to listen to us.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Let's let's transition into beard news.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yes, let's hear it, let's hear it.
- 32:39Speaker 1: We got the little ticker going.
- 32:41Speaker 2: All right, So I met and this is your Talking
- 32:43Speaker 2: beard News, brought to you by Beard Laws Live from
- 32:47Speaker 2: flow Rider. Anybody doesn't know what I'm talking about every
- 32:50Speaker 2: Tuesday eight pm Talking Beards. You can check them on
- 32:53Speaker 2: Talking beears dot com or their Facebook page and see
- 32:56Speaker 2: myself doing a news article for them. So in tonight's news,
- 33:00Speaker 2: we future a man who uses signature beard to turn
- 33:03Speaker 2: it into a modeling gig, Joe.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Lang, who rocks not only long flowing.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Hair, but an impressive ginger beard, which means his face
- 33:11Speaker 2: has no soul.
- 33:13Speaker 1: That's just science. Don't get out of me.
- 33:15Speaker 2: In an article from the Indiana University's website, he is
- 33:18Speaker 2: quoted saying that he is known for his beard just
- 33:20Speaker 2: like most people because, as we've mentioned on previous episodes,
- 33:24Speaker 2: that once you let it grow, it kind of becomes
- 33:26Speaker 2: your identity in what you are known for.
- 33:28Speaker 1: And I know that Joe and myself have another thing
- 33:31Speaker 1: in common.
- 33:32Speaker 2: His mom hates his beard. That's right, ladies and gentlemen.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I don't know what it is with moms hating beards,
- 33:38Speaker 2: but Joe I relate.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Man.
- 33:40Speaker 2: If you want to reach out, hit me up on
- 33:42Speaker 2: the Facebook or the Instagram or my email. We can
- 33:48Speaker 2: talk about this. We'll get through this. But Joe's friend
- 33:51Speaker 2: recommended models for a campus magazine that had a campaign
- 33:54Speaker 2: about evolving masculine trends in the workplace. The specific story
- 33:58Speaker 2: was going to focus on how long younger beards are
- 34:00Speaker 2: becoming more acceptable in the work fit place, which I'm
- 34:03Speaker 2: a big fan of that. His most popular piece of
- 34:06Speaker 2: work was actually him with a whole bunch of butterflies
- 34:10Speaker 2: throughout his beard. So that way, if check it out
- 34:15Speaker 2: Beard Blaws Back Time Slash podcast, there's going to be
- 34:17Speaker 2: a link you can check out the actual picture of
- 34:19Speaker 2: him with the butterflies in it. And as a man
- 34:22Speaker 2: that has been known to put objects in my beard,
- 34:24Speaker 2: I fully support that and.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Respected as well, even though some people. He also speaks
- 34:30Speaker 1: about his daily routine. His weekly routine, which is a
- 34:33Speaker 1: bore of bristle, brush, oiled butters, some beer, shampoo, and conditioner.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure he uses hon Astamish like the rest
- 34:41Speaker 1: of us, because it's an amazing product. Shout out to them.
- 34:44Speaker 2: It's great to see beards opening other doors and opportunities.

- 36:08Speaker 2: a beard contest and start it off and you start
- 36:11Speaker 2: like in the middle of February. But hey, that's what
- 36:14Speaker 2: they do. It's an annual event. It's been going on
- 36:16Speaker 2: for a long time.
- 36:17Speaker 4: No, I like that because maybe some people will be like,
- 36:21Speaker 4: I can't do that.
- 36:22Speaker 3: I have to have a beard winter. It takes balls
- 36:23Speaker 3: of shaped beard in the winter. I think.
- 36:27Speaker 4: For years I shaved my I'd have a little stubble,
- 36:29Speaker 4: and then I started growing a beard, and then I
- 36:31Speaker 4: shaved the winter.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Now I'm keeping this.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Just facts.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Yep, you did good on that one.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I like, well, thanks, you're saying I don't usually do good.
- 36:45Speaker 3: No, I think, no, No, that's not what I'm saying.
- 36:48Speaker 4: I think So what I'm saying is that you're doing
- 36:49Speaker 4: really good for being in Florida and not sorry for
- 36:54Speaker 4: the flow, but for not having all your stuff with
- 36:57Speaker 4: you like your setups great at home.
- 37:00Speaker 3: This is impressive. I'm I'm impressed.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Quick little shout out for an ad to Loan bear
- 37:05Speaker 2: Beard forgot to throw them out. Just an amazing company

- 37:14Speaker 2: don't we get you have a special little section you
- 37:16Speaker 2: want to introduce before we start to wrap things up.
- 37:18Speaker 1: We're just gonna do aquick little live beer from flod
- 37:20Speaker 1: and I know you wanted to introduce a new not
- 37:23Speaker 1: only new segment. We just want to give a little
- 37:25Speaker 1: shout out to some some bearded birthdays.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Some bearded birthdays.
- 37:29Speaker 4: So I went and I started last week and then
- 37:34Speaker 4: the whole Kobe thing, and also my son being sick,
- 37:38Speaker 4: still sick by the way, but on the mend heyo
- 37:42Speaker 4: missing missing the week.
- 37:44Speaker 3: School is closed tomorrow.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Lucky, maybe they can congaminate the place, clean it all up.
- 37:51Speaker 3: They ever closed the school. Well, I was there for
- 37:55Speaker 3: something like this, Oh I would have loved it.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Anyways, we started the birthday thing birthdays of the week,
- 37:59Speaker 4: so so I found this harder than what I thought
- 38:02Speaker 4: it could be. At first, I was like, I'll just
- 38:04Speaker 4: type in famous birthday people.
- 38:07Speaker 3: They'll all have beards.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Other than women, and I can make this about smoking
- 38:11Speaker 4: hot chicks. But this I found out that that would
- 38:14Speaker 4: be a ton easier. So I have several souls stolen.
- 38:18Speaker 4: More just talking about ginger souls. Someday I will do.
- 38:22Speaker 3: By the way, we will get my brother on here
- 38:25Speaker 3: with a beard and we will talk about soul's gingers.
- 38:28Speaker 1: That's just anyway.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Anyways, all right, birthdays for the week. Okay, I love
- 38:33Speaker 4: my birthday. I just turned thirty nine a couple of
- 38:35Speaker 4: weeks ago. I'm a selfish person. I love my birthday.
- 38:39Speaker 1: So I have a birthday.
- 38:41Speaker 4: I went online found some birthdays. I can't remember the site.
- 38:45Speaker 4: I will quote it next week, I promised, because I
- 38:48Speaker 4: didn't come up with these. But there's a few that
- 38:51Speaker 4: have good beards, and a few that are famous, and
- 38:53Speaker 4: a few that, quite honestly, I don't even know why
- 38:55Speaker 4: I might or may may not say them. February third,
- 38:57Speaker 4: we start on a Monday, we end on a Sunday.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Best beard that I found Ferdinand Magellan. He was born
- 39:06Speaker 4: in fourteen eighty and died in fifteen twenty one. I
- 39:10Speaker 4: don't know if you remember that guy, wicked explorer like Dora,
- 39:17Speaker 4: but with like boats and for real.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Oh okay, I don't know.
- 39:23Speaker 4: Magellan was like a Columbus, but like discovered a whole
- 39:25Speaker 4: bunch of other stuff, and I don't think killed nearly
- 39:27Speaker 4: as many people with the chicken pox?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Are you Jellen like Magellan?
- 39:32Speaker 3: Exactly? Magellan? There's a picture. He got a great beard
- 39:36Speaker 3: and he looks staunch.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Oh.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Anyways, he was.
- 39:39Speaker 4: The only apparently famous guy that I found on February third,
- 39:42Speaker 4: a whole bunch of so by the way, side note
- 39:44Speaker 4: to this whole thing, if we keep it going, most
- 39:47Speaker 4: everyone they mentioned are YouTubers or TikTokers.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Which I have no problem with, but to me, it's
- 39:56Speaker 3: not really history yet.
- 39:59Speaker 4: Agree Anyways, February fourth, there were only two famous people,
- 40:03Speaker 4: Rosa Parks and Alice Cooper. And I've seen a lot
- 40:06Speaker 4: of pictures of Alice Cooper. I'm pretty sure Rosa Park's
- 40:08Speaker 4: probably had more chin hair than Alice Cooper, maybe one
- 40:12Speaker 4: or two whiskers, but she's way cooler than.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Alice Cooper, Alice Cooper School. It's Rosa Parks. No beard anyways.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Moving along. February fifth, Yeah, another another weekday.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Christian Ronaldo and Naymar both soccer players, thirty five and
- 40:27Speaker 4: twenty eight, respectively.
- 40:29Speaker 3: I still don't think either of them can grow a
- 40:31Speaker 3: nice man cover. So wah Today February sixth.
- 40:41Speaker 4: Today, I'll name some birthdays, but there is there's one
- 40:45Speaker 4: or two good beer too.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Babe Ruth George Herman. Ruth's birthday is today, would have
- 40:51Speaker 3: been today.
- 40:52Speaker 4: He died in forty Ruth never had a beard that
- 40:56Speaker 4: I know of. Ronald Reagan it no, I don't remember
- 41:02Speaker 4: a beard. Rick Astley never gonna give you an Axl
- 41:07Speaker 4: Rose should have given him up, should have given up
- 41:10Speaker 4: a long time ago.
- 41:12Speaker 3: You ever seen Axle with a beard? It's not good.
- 41:15Speaker 3: It basically looks like my back hair, but orange and spottier.
- 41:21Speaker 3: But best birthday on or best beard on a birthday today?
- 41:25Speaker 4: Bob Marley, Oh yeah, Bob Marley nineteen forty five to
- 41:32Speaker 4: eighty one, birthday today. Everybody, anyone who knows or has
- 41:37Speaker 4: heard of Bob Marley only knows picture Bob Marley with
- 41:39Speaker 4: a good rock and beard might have been a little dirty,
- 41:43Speaker 4: but I had.
- 41:43Speaker 1: The soul just like your back hair, but thicker.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Tomorrow.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Chris Rock, as turns fifty four, asked cout forty one. Chris,
- 41:55Speaker 4: It's like Rick Ashley is the ship. But like those guys,
- 41:58Speaker 4: they just never, they never. Chris Rock can actually rock.
- 42:03Speaker 3: A beard.
- 42:04Speaker 1: See what you did there?
- 42:06Speaker 3: I realized what I did there. Garth Brooks can rock
- 42:09Speaker 3: a beard.
- 42:09Speaker 4: But Garth Brooks's beard twenty years ago looks like it
- 42:12Speaker 4: did today, gray and kind of like I'm still suffering
- 42:15Speaker 4: as a country artist.
- 42:16Speaker 3: But he's not. He pulls it off.
- 42:19Speaker 4: Charles Dickens born in eighteen twelve to eighteen seventy. I
- 42:22Speaker 4: saw a picture of him, remember the writer there that
- 42:24Speaker 4: not remembered him? But the writer Charles Dickens, I saw
- 42:27Speaker 4: a picture or a portrait. U did not look like
- 42:31Speaker 4: a man.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Maria Law Matt Stafford, I don't believe could grow a beard.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Oh this is a good one for tomorrow.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Desmond Football.
- 42:40Speaker 4: Do you remember Desmond Dawes? Okay, me neither until I
- 42:45Speaker 4: saw the movie Hacksaw Rich. Remember Hacksaw Rich directly by Melviws.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Remember that movie?
- 42:50Speaker 4: So dos I looked I could not find a picture
- 42:53Speaker 4: of Dows with a beard. However, this crafty Brave Medal
- 42:58Speaker 4: of Honor winner never wielded a gun. Save seventy five people.
- 43:02Speaker 4: At least they know a sweet, sweet mustache.
- 43:11Speaker 3: A mustache an animal.
- 43:13Speaker 4: This guy should look like fucking Leonardo DiCaprio in the Covenant.
- 43:18Speaker 3: He should just look like Nope, this guy's crazy. Never
- 43:24Speaker 3: wielded a gun.
- 43:25Speaker 4: I'm not afraid of anything, trusted his beliefs and save
- 43:30Speaker 4: seventy five people. A true American hero with one of
- 43:33Speaker 4: the best American mustaches in the world. So I had
- 43:36Speaker 4: to get problem the world, the world, at least my world.
- 43:41Speaker 4: On Saturday, James Dean, famous actor, didn't have enough time
- 43:45Speaker 4: to grow a beard, but I bet he would have
- 43:47Speaker 4: Seth Green.
- 43:48Speaker 3: We all know who Seth Green is. He has whatever
- 43:52Speaker 3: carrot face stubble.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Beard, probably one of the better ones of the list.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Yep, Kimbo slice dude, Oh yeah, Kimbo.
- 44:05Speaker 4: Right on Saturday, that thing is just beastly death was
- 44:11Speaker 4: was seventy four to sixteen is his lifetime. And on Sunday,
- 44:15Speaker 4: Charlie Day of It's always sunny in Philadelphia turns forty three.
- 44:19Speaker 4: Joe Peshew finally grew a beard for The Irishman basically
- 44:24Speaker 4: had a beard by the end of it because it
- 44:25Speaker 4: took three and a half years to film and and see.
- 44:30Speaker 4: And then William Henry Harrison seventy three to forty one
- 44:33Speaker 4: a US president.
- 44:33Speaker 3: I don't believe he had won.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Evey, I don't know, so I got Greek dropt. So
- 44:39Speaker 1: happy period birthday. Oh you bearded best. What a cool
- 44:44Speaker 1: little segment. Thanks for doing that, logan. If somebody else.
- 44:48Speaker 3: The idea is would be funny, I can make it better.
- 44:52Speaker 3: If anyone didn't like it. To me, he didn't like it.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And if anybody has a birthday coming out, email
- 44:57Speaker 2: us and we'll give you a birthday show.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Now. Oh, he just had a thought.
- 45:00Speaker 3: I think I missed one.

- 45:11Speaker 1: Oh, I can look it up real quick.
- 45:14Speaker 4: I'm almost clositive. Don Cherry's birthday was this week. But
- 45:17Speaker 4: then I got interrupted, so really a customer.
- 45:20Speaker 1: It was it was February. It's February fifth.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Don Cherry, Don Chair, I love you Don Cherry, Don Cherry.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Huh, he's watching.

- 46:21Speaker 1: a couple of amazing interviews coming up that we're going
- 46:23Speaker 1: to keep a secret. Like we do every week, we
- 46:25Speaker 1: give a little clue and we do this slow built
- 46:27Speaker 1: for it, So we have some really cool ones starting

- 46:54Speaker 3: We got to get him when it's when it's like
- 46:56Speaker 3: it is now and then promise him that we'll get
- 46:58Speaker 3: him back. I want to hear the story. I want
- 47:00Speaker 3: to hear how hurtful this was.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's got to Yeah, we got to hear
- 47:03Speaker 2: his side of the story because it's much much different
- 47:05Speaker 2: because he was the one that called out beer Bong John.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Originally exactly exactly. We gotta ge him.
- 47:10Speaker 2: If anybody knows, I'm actually in Florida looking for beer
- 47:14Speaker 2: Bong John.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I haven't found him yet, but there's always tomorrow. I know.
- 47:17Speaker 4: Somebody asked that, So what's like, I said, what's that

- 47:36Speaker 3: If you can't find him, yeah, make him, make him
- 47:39Speaker 3: drive halfway. That's okay.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I've been looking for him and in the gyms because
- 47:43Speaker 2: I think he works out a lot. I'm going to
- 47:45Speaker 2: find him in Family Family Fitness. I googled LA Fitness
- 47:51Speaker 2: because I heard that as popular, but turns out LA
- 47:54Speaker 2: is not in Florida.
- 47:55Speaker 1: So it wasn't in that one. Then I asked the
- 47:58Speaker 1: guy Jim if he knew him, and Jim was like, no,
- 48:02Speaker 1: I don't.
- 48:02Speaker 2: I don't know anybody by that name. But there's a
- 48:05Speaker 2: guy John that lives over there behind the Ponderosa. And
- 48:08Speaker 2: then I asked him and he didn't know him, so
- 48:12Speaker 2: I was kind of scraping. And then we rented a
- 48:15Speaker 2: boat and I was gonna ask Captain Dave, but he
- 48:19Speaker 2: didn't look like he wanted to talk about peerbunk John
- 48:22Speaker 2: or beer or beer bombs.
- 48:24Speaker 3: He didn't.
- 48:29Speaker 1: No, it's stunk there. It wasn't a good thing.
- 48:34Speaker 3: That's alright.
- 48:35Speaker 1: So, ladies and gentlemen, I think we're gonna wrap this up.
