- 0:23Speaker 1: Oh sorry, it's just this way the video call doesn't

- 1:11Speaker 3: Hey, everybody, welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark a bonus episode
- 1:14Speaker 3: of Long Story Short the podcast. I'm Megan, I'm Wendy,
- 1:17Speaker 3: and today we have breaking news. Breaking We have decided
- 1:21Speaker 3: to skip right over our review of Flyaway Home and
- 1:24Speaker 3: in fact, we had decided to review a different movie
- 1:27Speaker 3: in its place, and then.
- 1:28Speaker 1: We decided we're not going to do that at all.
- 1:30Speaker 3: We're going to jump right into our countdown to Christmas preview.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Who's excited? I am genuinely I am genuinely excited. I
- 1:40Speaker 1: don't know what's happened to me over the last two years. Wendy.
- 1:43Speaker 3: We have a post on our website, Megan and Wendy
- 1:46Speaker 3: dot com, which is chuck full of information. We encourage
- 1:48Speaker 3: you to take a look at it. But Wendy wrote
- 1:50Speaker 3: a post all about what to look forward to and
- 1:52Speaker 3: count down to Christmas, and I think that really lit
- 1:54Speaker 3: a fire. It got me hyped Christmas hyped.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Bells are ringing. I have to confess that I bought
- 2:02Speaker 1: my first Christmas gifts this past weekend too. I'm just
- 2:06Speaker 1: I'm getting in. I'm ready for the holidays, all right.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not quite with you there yet, but
- 2:14Speaker 1: well I am not. I'll be honest, I'm not ready
- 2:16Speaker 1: for Christmas.
- 2:17Speaker 3: We just decorated for fall, and I'm like, oh, it's
- 2:20Speaker 3: the season, like.
- 2:21Speaker 1: All the holidays, all the decor all this stuff. Are
- 2:24Speaker 1: you ready? Should we answer? The obvious question is how
- 2:28Speaker 1: do I watch these movies? Sure?
- 2:29Speaker 3: Okay, So if you don't have cable, you're wondering how
- 2:31Speaker 3: do I watch? You do have some options you can choose,
- 2:34Speaker 3: like a cable like service like a YouTube TV, which
- 2:38Speaker 3: is less expensive than cable. It's gonna give you a
- 2:40Speaker 3: ton of channel options, and they do include Hallmark.
- 2:43Speaker 1: That's one way that we watch our movies.
- 2:46Speaker 3: There's some other streaming services like Fubo which has a trial,
- 2:50Speaker 3: and Friendly, which Wendy and I are huge fans of
- 2:52Speaker 3: ye that you can subscribe to.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And Friendly is really affordable.
- 2:56Speaker 3: It has all the Hallmark channels, it includes Lifetime. It
- 2:58Speaker 3: has some other channels as well well.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And this is not an ad.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Friendly sponsorship, although we would welcome that Count On to
- 3:06Speaker 3: Christmas sponsored by Friendly Girls Gone Homework. But one of
- 3:10Speaker 3: the best things.
- 3:11Speaker 1: About it is if you forget to record a movie,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you can go back seventy two hours and just click
- 3:15Speaker 1: record in the guide and poof, it's there. It's like Magic.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I think their guide for searching for movies and you
- 3:23Speaker 1: can like skip days and it's so easy to use.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I almost prefer to watch itty homework movies on the
- 3:30Speaker 1: friendly app versus I have direct TV because there it's
- 3:35Speaker 1: not as easy to find. Nice anyway.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Yeah, we always do a news and notes segment on
- 3:40Speaker 3: our movie reviews. We're gonna do a quick countdown to
- 3:43Speaker 3: Christmas news and notes, some notable things about this season.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Countdown to Christmas kicks off on Friday, October twenty first,
- 3:52Speaker 3: and some notable things coming to countdown to Christmas. We
- 3:55Speaker 3: have a celebration of Chinese American culture in not one,
- 3:58Speaker 3: but two movies.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Movies. I'm very excited about both those movies, and we'll
- 4:03Speaker 1: get into that in a second, but I will. I'm
- 4:05Speaker 1: excited about those. What else do we have?
- 4:07Speaker 3: We also have a Hanuka movie mm hmm, which is
- 4:11Speaker 3: not new, but I'm glad to see that return. And
- 4:14Speaker 3: we have the first ever movie that celebrates Kwanza.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, excited about that? Yeah, me too. In another first,
- 4:21Speaker 1: yes are you so excited? Can't wait? Jonathan Bennett is
- 4:25Speaker 1: headlining a movie featuring the very first LGBTQ lead not
- 4:30Speaker 1: like three leads to soften the blow. I'm so excited.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I love him so much. Okay, I'm so excited too.
- 4:39Speaker 1: And I know he's really excited too, because I was
- 4:41Speaker 1: looking at his Instagram and he was like promoting it,
- 4:44Speaker 1: and he's very excited to be part of it. You know,
- 4:47Speaker 1: this historical moment on Hallmark is woke Nation gonna get upset. Look,
- 4:52Speaker 1: there's a lot for them to get upset about. Have
- 4:55Speaker 1: at it.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Honestly, success is the best revenge. Hallmark will be
- 4:59Speaker 3: the number one cable channel this season as they were
- 5:03Speaker 3: last season, So.
- 5:04Speaker 1: They're just gonna laugh all the way to the bank. Right.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We have other new stuff too. I movie from Under
- 5:11Speaker 1: the Mahogany banner for Christmas. That's at first this year.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm excited about that too. There's lots of songwriter
- 5:18Speaker 3: tie ins in this movie.
- 5:19Speaker 1: You know. The one I'm the most excited about is
- 5:22Speaker 1: the cameo from Lisa Lobe. Oh my gosh, weren't you
- 5:26Speaker 1: a huge Lisa Lobe fan?
- 5:27Speaker 2: I was.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I was a huge Lisa Lobe fan, and I know
- 5:30Speaker 1: two of her songs. I remember my daughter was very young,
- 5:34Speaker 1: there was a Lisa Lobe like Children's CD Oh. She
- 5:38Speaker 1: sang all children's songs. I can't name one right now,
- 5:42Speaker 1: but I remember it was on repeat quite a bit.
- 5:45Speaker 1: She will be in Hotka on Rye. Yeah, with a
- 5:48Speaker 1: new song too. I think her hit song light. Oh,
- 5:51Speaker 1: a song that's already out evidently, Okay, okay, it's already
- 5:55Speaker 1: a hit now.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Everyone wants to capitalize on count down to Christmas. We
- 5:59Speaker 3: got a lot of count down to Christmas brand integrations happening,
- 6:01Speaker 3: lots of them within the Hallmark brand itself, their Republic
- 6:05Speaker 3: of Tea.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Christmas flavors are coming back. Yes, every year. They're wine flavors.
- 6:09Speaker 1: We got jingle and joy and holly and jolly. Okay,
- 6:12Speaker 1: there's a countdown a Christmas Monopoly game. Oh, there's a
- 6:15Speaker 1: Countdown to Christmas Coffee table book, which I own, but
- 6:18Speaker 1: they have now updated. You do a new addition? Oh yeah,
- 6:22Speaker 1: How have I never seen that? Oh? Yes, I ordered
- 6:24Speaker 1: it last year. Maybe that's why.
- 6:26Speaker 3: We also have some like extensions this year, like checks
- 6:31Speaker 3: countdown to checksmis Oh that's cute, you know, I love
- 6:35Speaker 3: my checks for my annual reindeer food.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Of course, pretty excited about that. Hershey's will have a
- 6:42Speaker 1: baking contest. Oh, which also offers one lucky fan of
- 6:45Speaker 1: walk On role in a movie for wid in the future.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Hallmark always does a Countdown to Christmas sweepstakes with a
- 6:52Speaker 3: number of prizes. The grand price this year is.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Twenty thousand dollars.
- 6:57Speaker 3: You can easily access that through the count Down to
- 7:00Speaker 3: Christmas app.
- 7:01Speaker 1: What's that app called?
- 7:02Speaker 3: The Hallmark Checklist app is a great way to see
- 7:05Speaker 3: what movies are coming up, what Christmas movies from the
- 7:08Speaker 3: past are re airing. If you want to know when
- 7:10Speaker 3: your favorites can be seen. You can even create a
- 7:12Speaker 3: checklist of all.
- 7:13Speaker 1: The movies you've watched if that makes you happy. What
- 7:16Speaker 1: I feel like is missing is Balsam Hill. No Balsam
- 7:18Speaker 1: Hill partnerships this year.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I guess we're gonna have to watch very carefully for
- 7:22Speaker 3: that paid product placement.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Hu interesting. Maybe they bounced to GHAK too. Oh no,
- 7:28Speaker 1: oh no, can we talk about who is missing? Speaking
- 7:31Speaker 1: of bouncing toa I'd love to hear it. Well, we
- 7:33Speaker 1: know the it's old news now but CCB correct, Trevor donnovan, Yes,
- 7:40Speaker 1: Danica mckeller, they're all over at GHAK now, which is
- 7:46Speaker 1: now GAFF by the way. Oh, why they changed their
- 7:49Speaker 1: great American family. What was it before a great American country? Oh? Interesting? Okay,
- 7:55Speaker 1: well whatever, goodbye. So no movies from them this year.
- 8:00Speaker 1: But I also noticed that Autumn Reser is not in
- 8:03Speaker 1: the Countdown to Christmas lineup. That's a bummer. I really
- 8:07Speaker 1: loved her in the Wedding Veil trilogy. I hope she
- 8:10Speaker 1: has a hit new year, new movie offering come Me Too,
- 8:15Speaker 1: me Too and not my favorite, But Cindy Busby not
- 8:20Speaker 1: listed as a Countdown to Christmas movie actor? All right,
- 8:25Speaker 1: do you want to go movie through movie? Is that
- 8:27Speaker 1: how we're gonna do this? Yeah? And we're also gonna
- 8:30Speaker 1: like give our first impression watch skip Yeah, okay, all right. Friday,
- 8:35Speaker 1: October twenty first, on the Hallmark Channel, Noel next Door,
- 8:40Speaker 1: starring Natalie Hall and Corey Seaver. Would you like me
- 8:42Speaker 1: to read the synopsis? A hard working single mom gets
- 8:47Speaker 1: into a war of words with a neighbor who she
- 8:49Speaker 1: feels is ruining Christmas, only to find that this misunderstood
- 8:53Speaker 1: grouch just may steal her heart. Do you think her
- 8:56Speaker 1: name is Noel? Oh? Probably? Okay, I don't want to
- 9:05Speaker 1: say I don't want to be negative Nelly, but this
- 9:08Speaker 1: is a terrible first offering.
- 9:10Speaker 3: That's so funny because I think this is, while it's
- 9:13Speaker 3: not going to be their best movie, I think this
- 9:16Speaker 3: is a nice.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Middle of the road. It's October twenty first, nobody's that
- 9:21Speaker 1: jazz for a Christmas movie. Yet it's real classic Hallmark.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I think it's a nice slow entry, all right. I
- 9:30Speaker 1: don't like slow entries, and I don't want to be negative,
- 9:35Speaker 1: but I really don't like Natalie Hall movies. They really
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't do it for me. It's not her. I think
- 9:43Speaker 1: she's lovely, she's very cute, she's a fine actor. I
- 9:47Speaker 1: just think the movie rules she gets are mid grade movies.
- 9:52Speaker 3: So you know, Natalie Hall famously starred in For a
- 9:55Speaker 3: Prince in her Yolo T shirt, but she and Corey
- 9:59Speaker 3: Severe all so starred alongside each other in Road Trip Romance,
- 10:03Speaker 3: so they apparently liked the chemistry that they had. I
- 10:07Speaker 3: assume these two like working together. I am gonna hope
- 10:10Speaker 3: that bodes well for this movie, because they already knew
- 10:13Speaker 3: each other.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I completely forgot these are the two Bosos that carried
- 10:16Speaker 1: around those ugly suitcases because they were pitching toys to companies. Right,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna blame the props department and not these two bosos.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm not being mean. I just hated that
- 10:28Speaker 1: movie too. Oh my gosh, all right, next step.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Next up is We Wish You a Married Christmas, airing Saturday,
- 10:36Speaker 3: October twenty second on the Hallmark Channel, which stars Mary
- 10:39Speaker 3: soul Nichols and Christopher Polaha. Becca and Robbie are a
- 10:44Speaker 3: married couple having a hard time connecting with each other
- 10:47Speaker 3: as the holidays approach. Just before Christmas, they head to
- 10:49Speaker 3: a cozy Vermont and the advice of their marriage coach
- 10:52Speaker 3: so they can recharge. The weekend away gets unexpectedly extended
- 10:56Speaker 3: when a mishap puts their car out of commission and
- 10:58Speaker 3: may just put them on the road.
- 11:00Speaker 1: To a happily married Christmas. I'm intrigued by this one,
- 11:05Speaker 1: and let me tell you why I was very hard
- 11:09Speaker 1: on Christopher Paloha last year. He wasn't I'm sorry. He
- 11:15Speaker 1: was in that Scrooge movie. Do you remember, Gosh, I
- 11:19Speaker 1: really liked that movie. I remember, yeah, and I was like,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I didn't think it was that great. But now in retrospect,
- 11:26Speaker 1: he was actually really good in it. So there's that.
- 11:30Speaker 1: What else also intrigues me? Is that this is a
- 11:33Speaker 1: married couple. This isn't like two long lost school friends
- 11:38Speaker 1: who now reconnect and blah blah blah whatever, Like this
- 11:42Speaker 1: is a movie made for somebody who is in my
- 11:44Speaker 1: stage of life. Yeah, so I'm excited about this one.
- 11:47Speaker 3: As am I and Mary sol Nichols place REMINDI Lodge
- 11:50Speaker 3: on Riverdale. Oh so, I think we're getting a little
- 11:54Speaker 3: more of the kinds of things we've been personally asking for.
- 11:57Speaker 1: A little bit of a later in life roaming. Yes. Yes,
- 12:01Speaker 1: next step is we need a little Christmas. Airing Saturday,
- 12:06Speaker 1: October twenty second. This one is on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Stars Erica Durance, Patrick Spongie, I'm terrible at names, Thank you,
- 12:18Speaker 1: Megan ann Lynn Whitfield. Here is the synopsis. Julie is
- 12:23Speaker 1: adjusting to being a single mother to a grieving child
- 12:27Speaker 1: while facing her first Christmas without her husband when she
- 12:30Speaker 1: develops an unexpected friendship with her older neighbor Irene. This
- 12:36Speaker 1: could be nice.
- 12:38Speaker 3: This could be nice. It's movies and mysteries. It may
- 12:41Speaker 3: not be classic boy.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Meets girl, happy ending story.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I'm again, this is just a little bit different enough
- 12:51Speaker 3: that it makes me excited.
- 12:51Speaker 1: About it. Me too?
- 12:52Speaker 3: And I love Erica Durance, Oh me too. And I
- 12:55Speaker 3: think this opening weekend is kind of a nice mix.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Like, you know, we've.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Got the opening with Natalie Hall and Corey Severe like
- 13:03Speaker 3: they're gonna fall in love, new romance, We've got the
- 13:07Speaker 3: struggling relationship, We've got our grieving parent.
- 13:09Speaker 1: It's a nice balance for the weekend. That is good, good,
- 13:12Speaker 1: good good. On Sunday, October twenty third, on the Hallmark Channel,
- 13:16Speaker 1: we have a Kismet Christmas, which stars Sarah Ramos, Carlo Marx,
- 13:21Speaker 1: and Mary Lou Henner. Sarah is a children's book author
- 13:25Speaker 1: who returns to her hometown where she connects with her
- 13:28Speaker 1: family and Travis, her teenage crush. She soon discovers that
- 13:31Speaker 1: a long held family legend might actually be true. I say,
- 13:36Speaker 1: what whoa on this one? Uh? Oh so, Sara Ramos,
- 13:39Speaker 1: you may recall from parenthood. I do. I haven't seen
- 13:41Speaker 1: her in a while. Mary Leu Henna. That kind of
- 13:45Speaker 1: entices me. We haven't been talking about if we were
- 13:48Speaker 1: going to pass or skip these ones. Oh no, so
- 13:51Speaker 1: you're going to skip this? I think I might skip
- 13:54Speaker 1: this one. It's because it has the whole trope of
- 13:57Speaker 1: like reconnecting with her teenage crush returns to her hometown.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Yes, okay, so since we did not do which of
- 14:06Speaker 3: these first opening weekend movies would you like to watch?
- 14:10Speaker 1: We wish you a married Christmas and we need a
- 14:13Speaker 1: little Christmas me too, A cozy Christmas in I in Guys, Friday,
- 14:19Speaker 1: October twenty eighth, on the Hallmark Channel. I'm buzzin about
- 14:23Speaker 1: this one. Yeah, we do this one. Stars Jody Sweeten. Hello,
- 14:27Speaker 1: Stephanie Tanner. I'm excited that you're here this year. I
- 14:31Speaker 1: do welcome. The official tagline is real estate exec Erica
- 14:36Speaker 1: travels to Alaska during Christmas time to acquire a bed
- 14:40Speaker 1: and breakfast, only to discover that it's owned by her ex.
- 14:44Speaker 1: While there, she finds herself falling in love with the
- 14:46Speaker 1: town and quite possibly him. Really, the only thing I'm
- 14:49Speaker 1: excited about here is Jody Sweeten. There too, nothing that
- 14:52Speaker 1: exciting about the synopsis the story as a whole. Again,
- 14:57Speaker 1: it's one line they could surprise me. I will watch this.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I will too, simply for Jodie Sweeten.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Next up is Jolly Goood Christmas, Saturday, October twenty ninth,
- 15:07Speaker 3: on the Hallmark Channel. Stars Rashmachetti and Will Kemp. The
- 15:11Speaker 3: synopsis is David is an American architect who recently moved
- 15:15Speaker 3: to London for a prime opportunity in a prestigious firm.
- 15:19Speaker 3: With just three days before Christmas, he crosses path paths
- 15:22Speaker 3: with Angie, a professional shopper who raises an eyebrow over
- 15:26Speaker 3: his choice of gift card for his girlfriend. David ultimately
- 15:29Speaker 3: desires to hire Anjie and thanks to a series of
- 15:31Speaker 3: unexpected events, finds himself on a wild adventure across jolly
- 15:36Speaker 3: old London as Angie helps him search for the perfect present.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I'm really hoping this was Shaw on location. It was.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Oh that really makes me excited. I love Will Camp.
- 15:47Speaker 1: He will always and Forever A Christmas Waltz, one of
- 15:51Speaker 1: my most favorite Christmas movies. Ever, However, what Will Kemp
- 15:57Speaker 1: is British? Is he not?
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think so? He plays an American architect or going
- 16:02Speaker 1: to smother his lovely British accent. Why would he do that?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Can't he be a British architect? Why can't he be
- 16:08Speaker 1: the personal shopper? Right? Yes, he should be talk about
- 16:15Speaker 1: turning this upside down on its head. He should be
- 16:17Speaker 1: the personal shopper Angie should be the American architect. I
- 16:21Speaker 1: will watch this, meet you absolutely on will watch us.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Next up is Ghosts of Christmas, always airing Sunday, October
- 16:30Speaker 1: thirtieth on the Homework Channel. This one has a lot
- 16:34Speaker 1: of cast names. M I'm just gonna say the first
- 16:37Speaker 1: two Kim Matula and Ian Harding in Harding was on
- 16:42Speaker 1: Pretty Little Liars. Oh. It also stars Reginaldville Johnson. Do
- 16:46Speaker 1: you know who that is? Oh? It sounds so familiar. Yes, yes,
- 16:52Speaker 1: he was in a summer movie and he was No, Okay,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I'm wrong.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 16:57Speaker 1: Carl Winslow from Family Matters? Oh? Wow, where have you
- 17:02Speaker 1: been hiding? Reginald bell Johnson?
- 17:04Speaker 3: My kids love Family Matters, so that name jumped right
- 17:08Speaker 3: out at me.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Her kids are not thirty years old. Her kids are
- 17:10Speaker 1: regular kids age and they just watch Family Matters. We
- 17:14Speaker 1: like watching old show. I know you do. Did I
- 17:17Speaker 1: even read the synopsis of this? I didn't. Catherine is
- 17:21Speaker 1: a ghost of Christmas present and she must help one soul,
- 17:24Speaker 1: Peter rediscover his Christmas spirit. But this year has something
- 17:29Speaker 1: unusual in store. Tell me, how do you feel about
- 17:32Speaker 1: a Christmas Carol adaptation? I love it, me too. Those
- 17:36Speaker 1: are my favorite stories. Me too. I will watch this
- 17:41Speaker 1: as will you. Oh? I will definitely watch too, Yes,
- 17:44Speaker 1: thank you. Next up, Christmas Bedtime Stories. Hate the title,
- 17:49Speaker 1: just so we're clear. Why?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Oh well, For the reason that I hate a number
- 17:53Speaker 3: of the titles in these movies is that if the
- 17:56Speaker 3: folks in charge of naming movies would do a simple
- 17:59Speaker 3: Google search, they would realize that some of these movies
- 18:01Speaker 3: are not SEO friendly.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Go ahead and google Christmas Bedtime Stories. Are you gonna
- 18:04Speaker 1: get this movie? No? You're not. Yeah, nor are you?
- 18:07Speaker 3: With hashtag x miss coming soon by the way. Moving
- 18:11Speaker 3: On This Air is Saturday, October twenty ninth on Movies
- 18:14Speaker 3: and Mysteries. It stars Aaron Khill, Steve Lund, and Charlie Weber.
- 18:19Speaker 3: The synopsis is when Danielle's husband goes missing in action
- 18:22Speaker 3: during his deployment, she's left to raise her daughter on
- 18:24Speaker 3: her own. Three years later, she acclimates to life without him.
- 18:27Speaker 3: She begins to tell her daughter bedtime stories of her father.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Oh my god, I just got chills, like I might cry.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I think that sounds very sweet. Now he goes missing
- 18:37Speaker 1: in action. Do you think he's coming back? I do
- 18:40Speaker 1: maybe maybe not. I don't know. I'm definitely going to cry.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm kind of crying right now. I would watch this movie.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I'm definitely gonna watch this movie. Thumbs up. All right, now,
- 18:52Speaker 1: we're gonna head into November. Friday, November fourth, on the
- 18:56Speaker 1: Homework Channel, A Magical Christmas Village stars our friend Ali Sweeney,
- 19:02Speaker 1: Luke McFarlane, and Marlowe Thomas. You guys, this is going
- 19:06Speaker 1: to be Luke McFarland's very last Homewark movie. I know,
- 19:10Speaker 1: but I feel great that he's paired with Ali Sweeney.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I mean, I am too, Like that's a great cast. Yeah, okay.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Here is the synopsis. It's real long bookle up. When
- 19:22Speaker 1: Summer's mother, Vivian moves in with her and her young
- 19:25Speaker 1: daughter Chloe, her orderly existence is upended. Upon arrival. Vivian
- 19:31Speaker 1: sets up an heirloom miniature Christmas village resembling their town
- 19:36Speaker 1: and tells Chloe it grants Christmas wishes. As Chloe begins
- 19:41Speaker 1: setting up the figurines, real life events seem to mimic
- 19:45Speaker 1: the scenes she creates. With a little help from the
- 19:48Speaker 1: magic of the Christmas Village, the family will be brought
- 19:51Speaker 1: closer together and just maybe Summer will learn to open
- 19:55Speaker 1: her heart to love again. Have you seen the movie
- 19:58Speaker 1: The Christmas Calendar on Netflix? No, these are nearly identical movies. Really. Yes.
- 20:03Speaker 3: The character is given a magical advent calendar and every
- 20:07Speaker 3: day she pulls an item from the Advent Calendar that
- 20:09Speaker 3: has something to.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Do with and think's going to happen during her day. Wow,
- 20:13Speaker 1: that's a great movie on Netflix. They seem similar. Are
- 20:16Speaker 1: you gonna watch this one? Of course? Me too? Me too?
- 20:19Speaker 1: Me too?
- 20:20Speaker 3: Next up Lights Camera Christmas on Saturday, November fifth on
- 20:24Speaker 3: the Hallmark Channel. Stars Kimberly Sustad and John Brotherton. Welcome back.
- 20:29Speaker 3: You're getting a second chance after last year's flop of
- 20:32Speaker 3: a Christmas contest. The synopsis is when a holiday rom
- 20:36Speaker 3: com movie shooting in her town needs a costume designer,
- 20:39Speaker 3: a local shop owner steps into the role. While working
- 20:43Speaker 3: on the movie, she rediscovers her passion for costume design
- 20:46Speaker 3: and finds herself falling for Brad, the film's famous leading man.
- 20:49Speaker 1: It's kind of meta. I was the exact thing.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Kimberly Sustad is the star of both The Nine Kittens
- 20:58Speaker 3: of Christmas and The Nine Lives of So let's hope
- 21:01Speaker 3: this is a fresh start for her, a feline free
- 21:05Speaker 3: holiday movie.
- 21:07Speaker 1: The title is also triggering memories of another movie like Lights,
- 21:15Speaker 1: Love Hanukkah or Love Light Honica. Yeah, all right, I
- 21:19Speaker 1: mean I wish I could come up with better titles,
- 21:22Speaker 1: to be honest, this next one is a definite must
- 21:26Speaker 1: watch for me. Saturday, November fifth, on Movies and Mysteries,
- 21:30Speaker 1: A Maple Valley Christmas starring Peyton List and sexy Andrew Walker.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I mean, I don't even need to read the synopsis.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm already tuning in for Andrew Walker. Yeah, but I
- 21:41Speaker 1: will read it here for you. Erica is a rancher
- 21:43Speaker 1: who spent her whole life working the family farm with
- 21:46Speaker 1: her mother and sister. When Aaron arrives and disrupts her plans,
- 21:50Speaker 1: she starts to question what it is she actually wants.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I mean, that's a real vague. That doesn't even sound
- 21:57Speaker 1: like a Christmas movie. It could be any movie.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Well, that's kind of why I like it. Look, I
- 22:02Speaker 3: would watch any Andrew Walker movie. It goes without saying, however,
- 22:06Speaker 3: I kind of like that it's not set in like
- 22:08Speaker 3: the snowy small town or in the big city.
- 22:11Speaker 1: We don't really get Christmas movies on a ranch. It
- 22:13Speaker 1: seems like it's going to be fresh to me. Okay,
- 22:15Speaker 1: a little break for the census, Okay.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Next up, All Saints Christmas Sunday, November sixth, on the
- 22:23Speaker 3: Hallmark Channel, stars Ladis and Roger Cross. The synopsis is
- 22:27Speaker 3: Lizette is a popular R and B singer who's getting
- 22:30Speaker 3: ready to travel home to New Orleans for Christmas. When
- 22:33Speaker 3: the media mistake a photo of her with her music
- 22:35Speaker 3: producer X as an engagement announcement. Her family insists that
- 22:39Speaker 3: he join her on the trip. I don't typically like
- 22:42Speaker 3: movies with singing in them. It turns me off.
- 22:44Speaker 1: However, Ladissi is a sixteen time.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Grammy nominee and a Grammy winner as well, so they
- 22:50Speaker 3: have really brought the talent to this movie.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I hope she gets to sing. I hope. So I
- 22:57Speaker 1: kind of like the idea that it's like a the
- 23:00Speaker 1: media mistakes these two for being together and like what
- 23:03Speaker 1: unfolds from them. But I'm kind of worried it's gonna
- 23:05Speaker 1: be a little bit of hygiene cy, you know. It's
- 23:08Speaker 1: giving me.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Like an unexpected Christmas vibes where Tyler Hyes and Bethany
- 23:12Speaker 3: joy Lynds had to pretend to still be together, but
- 23:15Speaker 3: then those moments brought them back together.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure it's gonna be something like that. Will
- 23:20Speaker 1: you watch this one? I will watch this one me too.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Sunday nights. I'm probably gonna watch them, you know what
- 23:26Speaker 1: I mean, no matter what. Friday, November eleventh, on the
- 23:28Speaker 1: Hallmark Channel in Mary Measure, starring Patty Muran, Brendan Penny,
- 23:35Speaker 1: and Jennifer Robertson. The only name I'm familiar with is
- 23:39Speaker 1: Brendan Penny in this movie. Mm hmm. The synopsis is
- 23:43Speaker 1: when pop Start, Darcy returns home to spend Christmas with
- 23:46Speaker 1: her sister and niece, she unexpectedly, unexpectedly finds herself coaching
- 23:52Speaker 1: the high school choir with her one time rival Adam.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I might be into this, me.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Too, except I think it's a miss to put these
- 24:00Speaker 3: two musical movies back to back, even though they are
- 24:02Speaker 3: a week apart.
- 24:04Speaker 1: They are a week apart, right, But is this gonna
- 24:07Speaker 1: be like Glee Club? Like a rival? Like? I mean, yeah,
- 24:11Speaker 1: I kind of get into that. It could really make
- 24:13Speaker 1: or break it on the quality of the high school choir.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Yes, exactly, next upo The Royal Nanny, which stars Rachel Scarsten,
- 24:25Speaker 3: Dan Jeannott and Greta Scotchy. The synopsis is Claire is
- 24:29Speaker 3: an MI five agent who goes undercover as the Royal Nanny.
- 24:33Speaker 3: She must overcome the challenges of her assignment, like resisting
- 24:36Speaker 3: the charms of Prince Colin while keeping the family safe
- 24:39Speaker 3: at Christmas. Are you shaking your head at me or
- 24:41Speaker 3: at this movie?
- 24:42Speaker 1: This movie? Yeah? This is a pass for me. Wendy's
- 24:46Speaker 1: not the biggest fan of royal movies. I'm not. I
- 24:49Speaker 1: don't know why. This one reads like Hijink's Galore to me.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I just an I five agent. You lost me at
- 24:57Speaker 1: I five Agent? Yeah? Sorry? Next step Our Italian Christmas
- 25:02Speaker 1: Memories Saturday, November twelfth, on Movies and Mysteries. Stars Sarah
- 25:07Speaker 1: Power and Bo Bridges, a legit movie actor. The synopsis
- 25:12Speaker 1: is the Colchi Calucci. The Kaluci siblings, in an effort
- 25:18Speaker 1: to jog the memory of their grandfather, who is struggling
- 25:21Speaker 1: with dementia, set out to recreate their late grandmother's legendary
- 25:26Speaker 1: pasta sauce. Oh my god, chills again. I do anything
- 25:30Speaker 1: like that that's gonna get me I'm gonna watch that.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch it too.
- 25:35Speaker 3: This is the Movies and Mysteries movie again. I think
- 25:37Speaker 3: this is a departure from the classic Christmas movie formula.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I really hope that they treat the grandfather with dementia character.
- 25:49Speaker 1: In a kind and non caricature issue way. Totally, but
- 25:56Speaker 1: that feels like it's your jerker to me. Oh me too.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Next up, Christ's at the Golden Dragon Sunday, November thirteenth,
- 26:04Speaker 3: on the Hallmark Channel, stars Cara Wang, Oh Srick Chow,
- 26:07Speaker 3: Sarah Canning, Antonio Koopo, and Barbara Niven.
- 26:11Speaker 1: When Rome and.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Rick's parents surprise them with the news that they will
- 26:14Speaker 3: be closing the Chinese restaurant that they have opened and
- 26:17Speaker 3: operated for decades, the siblings each find themselves reevaluating their futures.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Also impacted by the news are the Landmark restaurants loyal
- 26:25Speaker 3: patrons and staff who've all come to depend.
- 26:27Speaker 1: On the restaurant over the holidays. It feels like welcome
- 26:31Speaker 1: to Mama's h a little bit. Also, Cara Wang was
- 26:37Speaker 1: in the summer's biggest movie, Top Gun Maverick. She was
- 26:42Speaker 1: she was one of the pilots or whatever. Oh my goodness,
- 26:46Speaker 1: I know that's very exciting. Oh I'm into this movie. Look,
- 26:50Speaker 1: I you know I've been to a Chinese restaurant Christmas Day. Oh,
- 26:55Speaker 1: me too, and it's packed. And I feel like if
- 26:59Speaker 1: they're gonna maybe lose their like restaurant or something, I'm
- 27:03Speaker 1: into that too. On Friday, November eighteenth, on the Hallwark Channel,
- 27:07Speaker 1: Inventing the Christmas Prince. I'm already rolling my eyes because
- 27:11Speaker 1: I'm sure this is one of those royal movies. Not
- 27:14Speaker 1: into it. It does star, it has a good cast,
- 27:18Speaker 1: though not a royal movie. What read enough I'm going
- 27:22Speaker 1: to Shelby is about to quit her job as a
- 27:25Speaker 1: rocket engineer when her daughter becomes convinced that her scrooge
- 27:28Speaker 1: like boss Evan is the Christmas Prince, from a story
- 27:32Speaker 1: Shelby invented years ago. My bad, guys, this movie stars
- 27:38Speaker 1: say it for me, Marra Movie Housley and Ronnie Rowe Junior.
- 27:44Speaker 1: He was in something we watched maybe last year. My bad.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I thought this was a royal movie, considering it was
- 27:53Speaker 1: called Inventing the Christmas Prince. I willing to make Oh yes,
- 27:57Speaker 1: hello Ronnie, Yeah, what was it? Oh? I know what
- 28:00Speaker 1: he was in? Oh my gosh, no, no, no, no.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Jingle Bobride. Yeah, as two years ago that was our
- 28:13Speaker 1: very first movie. How did I pull that out in
- 28:16Speaker 1: the dress?
- 28:17Speaker 2: Wow?
- 28:18Speaker 1: Wow? Definitely watching. It's definitely a wowie zowie. I will
- 28:22Speaker 1: watch this movie. Fixed up the moment we have all

- 28:45Speaker 1: As they slowly get the hang of things, they find
- 28:47Speaker 1: themselves on unexpected journeys of self discovery and begin to
- 28:51Speaker 1: rebuild their relationships as brothers as well as the damage
- 28:54Speaker 1: romantic and professional relationships in their respective lives, all while
- 28:59Speaker 1: reading their love of Christmas. Definitely watching this one hundred percent.
- 29:07Speaker 1: I said this on Instagram. This is a movie that
- 29:10Speaker 1: was made for Hallmark fans. This is going to be
- 29:13Speaker 1: a great movie.
- 29:13Speaker 3: The casual viewer will enjoy it, but Hallmark fans who
- 29:17Speaker 3: no one loved these characters, who know what a gift
- 29:20Speaker 3: it is to get all three of them together in
- 29:22Speaker 3: the same movie.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I wonder who's baby they're taking care of. Yeah, I
- 29:26Speaker 1: don't know. Also, this was directed by Terry Ingram, who
- 29:31Speaker 1: did the Wedding Veil trilogy, so he's gonna know how
- 29:35Speaker 1: to work. Actually, I don't know if Terry Ingram is
- 29:38Speaker 1: a man or woman, So I apologize. They are going
- 29:41Speaker 1: to know how to direct a gas yes, yeah, And
- 29:47Speaker 1: we've seen these gents in movies together. They've made cameos
- 29:50Speaker 1: in each other's movies, and I just I am so
- 29:53Speaker 1: excited to see them work together and play off of
- 29:55Speaker 1: each other. You know, it's like the dude version of
- 29:58Speaker 1: a Wedding Veil. I'm so excited. Me too, me aye.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I'm excited that Tyler Hines and Andrew Walker also got
- 30:04Speaker 3: their own movies, so this didn't like take away from
- 30:08Speaker 3: their like love story movie.
- 30:10Speaker 1: No and Paul Campbell. I'll watched last year's Santa Franta
- 30:13Speaker 1: Steak Santa Steak Out, that's what it was called. I

- 30:46Speaker 1: lot of details there, I don't.
- 30:48Speaker 3: I'll watch it because I love Benjamin Airs. I like
- 30:50Speaker 3: Taylor Cole in spite of not liking one of her
- 30:53Speaker 3: more popular recent movies.
- 30:55Speaker 1: The Miami One South Beach Love. Yeah, I like her
- 31:00Speaker 1: a lot. I think this could be a good match. Yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I love my buddy Benjamin, So I'm gonna watch it. Sure.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Last movie before mary Thanksgiving Weekend is Sunday, November twentieth

- 31:20Speaker 3: not sure I've fully forgiven me all Matter for never
- 31:23Speaker 3: kiss a man in a Christmas letter.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Every year, I hope for his redemption. This synopsis is

- 31:57Speaker 1: the ex'es?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Oh?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Good point, because she's much younger than he's like ten
- 32:00Speaker 1: years older than her, I mean, which is fine, but
- 32:03Speaker 1: I'm just wondering, like, are they trying to make him younger?
- 32:06Speaker 1: Are they trying to make her older? Like? What's is

- 34:09Speaker 1: last year's movie My Family Christmas Tree. Next up, hashtag Xmas.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I hate this title so much. It's very progressive for Hallmark,
- 34:17Speaker 1: I know, and I again it was not designed with
- 34:20Speaker 1: search in mind. No.
- 34:22Speaker 3: On Friday, November fifth on the Hallmark Channel. It stars

- 35:19Speaker 1: royal Corgi Christmas. I already have the feels because I
- 35:23Speaker 1: feel like this is gonna have something to do with
- 35:24Speaker 1: the Queen's dogs. And you know, I don't like a
- 35:29Speaker 1: royal movie, but I like dogs so and you're feeling
- 35:33Speaker 1: a little nostalgic for the queen. Her dogs, just her dogs,
- 35:37Speaker 1: Just the dogs. Okay, I really don't know if I'm
- 35:40Speaker 1: gonna watch this one. It stars Hunter King, who I
- 35:43Speaker 1: really enjoy. She was in a summer movie. I can't
- 35:46Speaker 1: remember what it was called, but she did diving and
- 35:48Speaker 1: they were looking for her lost ring. Do you remember
- 35:51Speaker 1: the movie I'm talking about. No, but I know the

- 35:54Speaker 1: was not a bad movie. And Jordan Renzo, who I
- 35:57Speaker 1: don't know. This synopsis is so long, but I'm going
- 36:03Speaker 1: to read it. Reluctant Crown Prince Edmund returns home just
- 36:08Speaker 1: before Christmas in anticipation of being named successor to the throne.
- 36:13Speaker 1: To ingratiate himself to his mother, the Queen, he gives
- 36:16Speaker 1: her with mistletoe, a rambunctious CORKI it needed some serious training.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop right, there is a rambunctious corky. I mean,
- 36:27Speaker 1: I have a corky makes Ali does his later on
- 36:29Speaker 1: the house all day long. I'm just gonna stop there.
- 36:31Speaker 1: This is gonna be the Nine Kittens of Christmas twenty
- 36:34Speaker 1: twenty two. Okay, rambunctious dogs. I don't know if I
- 36:38Speaker 1: need no, no, no, no, no, no, no no no. What's that
- 36:40Speaker 1: other movie we watched with the dog Trainer where she
- 36:42Speaker 1: works in the grocery store. Yes, because it says sparks
- 36:46Speaker 1: fly as the pair work to get mistletoe ready to
- 36:49Speaker 1: present at the annual Christmas You guys, I'm out out
- 36:53Speaker 1: on this one. I love dogs, but I can't. I can't. No, no, no,
- 36:57Speaker 1: you're right. It's a mishmash of two movies here. This
- 37:00Speaker 1: is a skip for me. I'm so sorry. I like
- 37:02Speaker 1: Hunter King a lot, me too. By Why why put
- 37:07Speaker 1: this movie on such a big weekend?
- 37:10Speaker 3: Well, that's a six pm movie on Friday? Oh bt dubs,
- 37:15Speaker 3: so we have an eight pm movie on Friday?
- 37:17Speaker 1: A hold on, I'm wrong that was the eight pm movie, folks.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Next up, Saturday, November twenty sixth, A Tale of Two
- 37:34Speaker 1: Christmases on the Hallmark Channel, at six pm stars Kat Burrell,
- 37:40Speaker 1: Chandler Massey and Evan Roderick. Thanks to some Christmas magic,
- 37:44Speaker 1: Emma gets to experience two different Christmases, one where she
- 37:47Speaker 1: stays in the city and celebrates with a new crash
- 37:49Speaker 1: in his friends, and one where she returns home for
- 37:52Speaker 1: the traditions with her family and Drew, a longtime friend
- 37:55Speaker 1: who may have feelings for her. Emma's double holiday ultimately
- 37:59Speaker 1: helps her discover what will make her happy in life
- 38:02Speaker 1: as well as love. I think it's true. I think
- 38:06Speaker 1: it sounds boring Chandler Massey. It's the only appeal for me.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Yeah, plays will on dsber lives, Cat Barrel is on
- 38:12Speaker 3: my own earth and working moms.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Maybe she is? A maybe because I gotta save time
- 38:18Speaker 1: for what's next that night? A hundred. If I'm gonna
- 38:21Speaker 1: choose one movie, the next movie is it, guys? Yes,
- 38:24Speaker 1: and it is? Haul Out the Holly. On Saturday, November
- 38:29Speaker 1: twenty six at eight pm stars Lacey Shabert, Wes Brown,
- 38:33Speaker 1: Ellen Travolta. Is there any relation to like the Travoltas, Ye,
- 38:39Speaker 1: Peter Jacobson, Melissa Peterman, and Stephen Tobolowski. Good job, I
- 38:45Speaker 1: only know two names in this movie, and that's okay,
- 38:47Speaker 1: because that's why I'm gonna watch it. Emily arrives home
- 38:50Speaker 1: hoping to visit her parents, only to discover that they
- 38:52Speaker 1: are leaving on a trip of their own. As she
- 38:56Speaker 1: stays at their house for the holidays, their HOA is
- 38:59Speaker 1: determined to get em to participate in the neighborhood's many
- 39:01Speaker 1: Christmas festivities. Have you seen Christmas with the Cranks? Yes,
- 39:06Speaker 1: in the movie theater. Can you believe that this feels
- 39:10Speaker 1: Christmas with the Cranks adjacent? It does? It also makes
- 39:14Speaker 1: me feel like it could take place in your neighborhood
- 39:17Speaker 1: because you guys have a lot of Christmas activities and
- 39:19Speaker 1: if you don't decorate your house for Christmas, you better
- 39:21Speaker 1: move out. And I was really disappointed with Lacy Shaver's
- 39:25Speaker 1: movie last year. It was that Irish one. It was terrible.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Is that Council Heart? Yeah? So I'm hoping for redemption
- 39:34Speaker 1: yes with this one. Next up? Whoa yeah this Isa?
- 39:42Speaker 1: There are three movies on Saturday, November twenties. I'm exhausted,
- 39:46Speaker 1: ten pm. I will be watching this on Sunday. Next
- 39:49Speaker 1: up on Saturday, November twenty six at ten pm on
- 39:52Speaker 1: Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. We have time for him to
- 39:56Speaker 1: come home for Christmas, stars Holland Road and Tyler and
- 40:00Speaker 1: to Neil Towns with executive producer Blake Shelton. Rat Rat
- 40:04Speaker 1: sums down, I don't like him.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Four days before Christmas, Elizabeth Athens receives a voicemail from
- 40:09Speaker 3: a number she doesn't recognize. On the message, a man
- 40:12Speaker 3: she doesn't know makes one final plea to the love
- 40:14Speaker 3: of his life for a second chance. The fifth installment
- 40:18Speaker 3: of the popular movie franchise based on Blake Shelton song
- 40:22Speaker 3: Time for Me to Come Home. This is a again.
- 40:25Speaker 1: There's been time for them to come home, Time for
- 40:28Speaker 1: me to come home, Time for you to come home.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Have you seen any of none of them. I will
- 40:32Speaker 3: watch anything with Tyler Hines in it, though, me too.
- 40:35Speaker 3: And I've seen some like real cute photos of him
- 40:37Speaker 3: with Holland Road in promo photos.
- 40:40Speaker 1: But give me a break. Of course, I'm gonna watch
- 40:43Speaker 1: it me too, totally. I mean, I'm intrigued by the storyline.
- 40:48Speaker 1: It's gonna have like a Blake Shelton song in it.
- 40:50Speaker 1: I'm guessing right or Blake Shelton. Gwen Stefani nashup song
- 40:55Speaker 1: or something bar I agree, but Hinds you got me?
- 41:01Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Okay, this one I can't believe. I'm looking
- 41:06Speaker 1: forward to. Sunday, November twenty seventh, on the Hallwark Channel
- 41:10Speaker 1: at six pm. A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe stars Rachel Boston
- 41:16Speaker 1: and victim Victor Webster. Don't know who those people are.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I know who Rachel Boston is. She's a real cutie.
- 41:22Speaker 1: You'll recognize her when you see her. Okay. Annie Cooper
- 41:25Speaker 1: has big shoes to fill when she takes over as
- 41:28Speaker 1: CEO of her late grandmother's small town cookie company and
- 41:32Speaker 1: is doing her best to help the struggling business get
- 41:34Speaker 1: back on track. Blah blah blah. As Annie and Sam
- 41:37Speaker 1: bake batch after batch in pursuit of the perfect cookie,
- 41:40Speaker 1: they began to learn that their lives go together like
- 41:43Speaker 1: milk and cookies. You love a baking movie, don't you.
- 41:46Speaker 1: I do. Yeah, this looks fun. It does look fun,
- 41:52Speaker 1: and then it's like right in there with Christmas. Give
- 41:54Speaker 1: me some cookies and a bakery and a save my job,
- 41:59Speaker 1: you know next up.
- 42:02Speaker 3: This movie has been hotly anticipated. Sunday, November twenty seventh,
- 42:06Speaker 3: on the Hallmark Channel a Holiday Spectacular stars Gina Claire Mason,
- 42:12Speaker 3: Derek Clina, Eve Plum, and Margaret and features the Radio
- 42:16Speaker 3: City Rockets and.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Is written by our girl, Julie Sherman Wall. Yes, I'm
- 42:23Speaker 1: very excited.
- 42:24Speaker 3: In nineteen fifty eight, Maggie is an heiress from Philadelphia
- 42:27Speaker 3: who puts her high society wedding plans on hold in
- 42:31Speaker 3: order to sneak up to New York City and make
- 42:33Speaker 3: her secret dream come true dancing live on stage in
- 42:36Speaker 3: the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Of course, I'm gonna watch this me too. I have
- 42:40Speaker 1: so many questions. First of all, First of all, when
- 42:42Speaker 1: did they film this movie? Was it actually done during
- 42:45Speaker 1: Christmas in New York? Probably not, as I say that,
- 42:48Speaker 1: I would guess not. The rackheads do like six shows
- 42:51Speaker 1: a day, oh four shows a day. They're constantly performing,
- 42:55Speaker 1: so I would imagine it was filmed not during the
- 42:57Speaker 1: holiday season. So it's gonna be sweeping views of New
- 43:00Speaker 1: York be roll. Yes, okay. Also, Gina Claire Mason is
- 43:05Speaker 1: Glunda from Wicked on Broadway. I didn't know that. And
- 43:09Speaker 1: Derek Klina, your guess is as good as mine. Tony
- 43:13Speaker 1: Award nominated for Jagged Little Pill. Nice. We have a
- 43:17Speaker 1: great cast and jam Brady and Jan Brady and Ann
- 43:21Speaker 1: Margaret both. You know, yes, it is a great cast.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Of course I'm gonna watch it. I of course, I
- 43:27Speaker 1: can't wait. I love anything that is set in the
- 43:30Speaker 1: nineteen fifties. And then we were talking about like putting,
- 43:35Speaker 1: like high society wedding plans, like so scandalous. I am
- 43:39Speaker 1: so excited for this movie. Have you ever seen the
- 43:41Speaker 1: Rockets perform? No? They When we were in New York
- 43:44Speaker 1: last Christmas, the Rockets were dark because of COVID. Oh,
- 43:49Speaker 1: you know, it's a little hokey. I think people would
- 43:52Speaker 1: think it's a very quick show. It's an hour. There's
- 43:54Speaker 1: multiple shows a day. It's very centrally located. I think
- 43:57Speaker 1: it's worth seeing if you ever have the opportunity. Is
- 44:00Speaker 1: it just a kickline the entire time? Or do they
- 44:03Speaker 1: know they do lots of different like that. I love
- 44:04Speaker 1: watching dance, so they do lots of different. They do
- 44:07Speaker 1: their classic kickline, but they've also got lots of very
- 44:11Speaker 1: cool It's it's a Christmas moment. Man. If I could
- 44:14Speaker 1: go to New York this Christmas, I would again. Next up, Friday,
- 44:17Speaker 1: December second, A Big Fat Family Christmas, stars Shannon chan Kent,
- 44:22Speaker 1: Shannon Cook, Ta Carreer, Oh and Jack Wagner. Super Random
- 44:28Speaker 1: live as.
- 44:28Speaker 3: A photojournalist eager to make it on her own to
- 44:30Speaker 3: get a dream assignment shooting the Chang family's annual holiday
- 44:34Speaker 3: party for a cover story. She doesn't reveal that they
- 44:37Speaker 3: are in fact her family. When she finds herself growing
- 44:40Speaker 3: close to Henry, the coworker covering the story with her,
- 44:44Speaker 3: she wants to confide in him, but doesn't want to
- 44:46Speaker 3: jeopardize her big break.
- 44:48Speaker 1: I got a little note about this movie, tell me.
- 44:53Speaker 1: In this movie, there is a cable car operator who
- 44:55Speaker 1: plays a cable car operator. His name is Val Lupis, and.
- 44:59Speaker 3: He gets a Lynn moment in the movie. Oh and
- 45:02Speaker 3: apparently he really dug into it. He decorated his cable
- 45:05Speaker 3: car for them and.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Really liked his like moment where he gets to yell
- 45:08Speaker 1: at to the characters for goofing around on the on
- 45:11Speaker 1: the cable car. Does this take place in San Francisco?
- 45:14Speaker 3: It is mostly shot in Vancouver, but because there are
- 45:18Speaker 3: some like classic cable car.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Scenes, they did do some shooting in San Francisco. And
- 45:21Speaker 1: it takes place in San Francisco. Okay, is this a
- 45:24Speaker 1: watch for you? It looks fun, It looks fun. This
- 45:29Speaker 1: is one of the two Chinese American movies right next
- 45:33Speaker 1: have Saturday, December third, a fabled holiday will air on
- 45:37Speaker 1: Hallmark Channel, stars Brook Doors and Ryan Pavey. Now Maggan
- 45:43Speaker 1: is making a face sort of. She loves herself a
- 45:46Speaker 1: Brook Doors, I do. She does not like a Ryan Pavie.
- 45:50Speaker 1: That's I was actually thinking.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Ryan Pavey really came into his own in this Summer's
- 45:55Speaker 3: Hawaii movie with Ashley Williams. Uh huh, So I am
- 45:58Speaker 3: looking forward to that now that I've seen that he
- 46:00Speaker 3: can do.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Okay, this synopsis is Talia and her childhood best friend
- 46:05Speaker 1: Anderson unexpectedly. Y put that on pasitus for a second.
- 46:09Speaker 1: If this was a drinking game and we said unexpectedly,
- 46:12Speaker 1: we would be drunk by now, because holy moly, Okay,
- 46:16Speaker 1: they unexpectedly reunite in a curious, familiar looking town full
- 46:20Speaker 1: of Christmas spirit that restores its visitors when they need
- 46:24Speaker 1: it most. I don't care about the synopsis. You know
- 46:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch this movie.
- 46:29Speaker 3: I know you love Brooke Doors town full of Christmas spirit.
- 46:33Speaker 3: I mean they probably Decorate on December twenty third, but
- 46:36Speaker 3: I'm gonna watch it.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Next up.
- 46:39Speaker 3: This is the Mahogany movie, offering on Saturday, December third,
- 46:43Speaker 3: the Holiday Stalking on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. It stars
- 46:47Speaker 3: Nadine Ellis, bj Britt Karen Riley, Tamala Jones, and Michel T. Williamson.
- 46:52Speaker 3: In this Holiday Mahogany presentation, RJ is a new angel
- 46:55Speaker 3: who was given the chance to address his one regret
- 46:59Speaker 3: that he didn't help his sisters recognized while he was
- 47:01Speaker 3: still alive. Returning to Earth as a stranger, he gets
- 47:04Speaker 3: each of them to revive the holiday stocking, their parents'
- 47:07Speaker 3: old tradition to encourage charity at Christmas.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Oh my god, the brother is dead and then he's
- 47:13Speaker 1: an angel. Another tear jerker. Seriously, they got me. I
- 47:18Speaker 1: have not seen a Mahogany movie since the first one
- 47:22Speaker 1: we reviewed. I'm thinkably good thing. Yes, I'm curious that
- 47:26Speaker 1: if this is going to have the same quality in
- 47:29Speaker 1: terms of an ensemble cast, in terms of because that
- 47:33Speaker 1: movie was felt like a movie movie to me. I'm
- 47:36Speaker 1: wondering if, like, if they're continuing to get the same
- 47:41Speaker 1: kind of budget as that movie did. Agree I like
- 47:44Speaker 1: the story. I will probably watch this one. Next step
- 47:51Speaker 1: is Undercover Holiday Sunday, December fourth, on Hallmark Channel, stars
- 47:56Speaker 1: No say it for me? I would say no, Emmi, Noemi,
- 47:59Speaker 1: Gunz and Stephen Who's our When returning home for the holidays,
- 48:05Speaker 1: newly minted pop star Jalen tells her protective family that
- 48:09Speaker 1: Matt is her new bow, when in reality, he's her
- 48:12Speaker 1: over zealous security guard. This is a hard pass for me.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. Yeah, why do you want?
- 48:19Speaker 1: Is he playing the role of the boyfriend? So they
- 48:21Speaker 1: back off and stop acting?
- 48:22Speaker 3: Like, when are you gonna settle down? Because that feels
- 48:26Speaker 3: like a tired storyline to me? Me too, I don't
- 48:28Speaker 3: have enough information to make a decision. I am on
- 48:30Speaker 3: the fence.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I mean, a newly minted pop star needs an over
- 48:34Speaker 1: zealous security guard. So what's the problem here? Right? I
- 48:38Speaker 1: gotta tell you this next movie, whoof we're getting into
- 48:44Speaker 1: like the depths of like and let's just there's still
- 48:48Speaker 1: some things to look forward to. Okay, all right, go ahead,
- 48:51Speaker 1: this is not it.
- 48:52Speaker 3: The most colorful time of the year, Okay. On Friday,
- 48:55Speaker 3: December ninth, on the Hallmark Channel, starring Katrina Bowden and
- 48:58Speaker 3: Christopher Russell. Ryan is an elementary school teacher who learns
- 49:02Speaker 3: that he is color blind.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Learns, as an adult, you've made it thirty plus years
- 49:06Speaker 1: of your life and it never occurred to you can't
- 49:08Speaker 1: see color. Michelle is an optometrist.
- 49:12Speaker 3: And mother of one of his students, who helps bring
- 49:15Speaker 3: color into his life in time for the holidays.
- 49:17Speaker 1: You know what this movie is.
- 49:18Speaker 3: It feels like it was written, you know how, like
- 49:20Speaker 3: if you give a bot enough information, they could like
- 49:23Speaker 3: write an entire script.
- 49:25Speaker 1: It feels like they're like, like, what's the problem color blind?
- 49:30Speaker 1: What solution? Optometrist brings color into his life? It's too cheesy,
- 49:35Speaker 1: it is. It could be great, but they lost me.
- 49:38Speaker 3: And I'm not suggesting that someone who is color blind
- 49:41Speaker 3: doesn't have obstacles to overcome. I feel like this synopsis
- 49:46Speaker 3: writer did not do them any favors.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Okay, sometimes a.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Pun is great, and sometimes we need to let the
- 49:53Speaker 3: obvious puns fall to the wayside.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Next up, Christmas Class re The Union, Saturday, December tenth
- 50:01Speaker 1: on Homework Channel stars Amy T. Garden and Tanner. Novelin Look.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I like Amy T. Garden. You do know she's won
- 50:11Speaker 1: me over. This synopsis is that high school classmates, who
- 50:14Speaker 1: once dubbed themselves the Cursed Class, reconnect at Christmas for
- 50:18Speaker 1: their fifteen year union. Over the course of their time reconnecting,
- 50:22Speaker 1: the classmates challenge each other to remember who they are. Wait,
- 50:27Speaker 1: to remember who they are? It said, to remember who
- 50:30Speaker 1: they were? Who they are? Oh, my god, who they
- 50:33Speaker 1: want to be? I want to know why they call
- 50:36Speaker 1: themselves the cursed class? What happens to them? I mean,
- 50:39Speaker 1: the curse class to me is the class of twenty twenty.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Sure, so have they had all of these terrible things
- 50:45Speaker 3: happen to them since graduation? They have terrible things happened
- 50:48Speaker 3: to them in high school?
- 50:49Speaker 1: I need to know. This is a synopsis writer who
- 50:52Speaker 1: knows what they're doing. Oh okay, are you gonna watch
- 50:55Speaker 1: this one? Leave me wanting more? It has Amy T
- 50:57Speaker 1: guard don't I'll watch it. I like things that have
- 50:59Speaker 1: like high school. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know. I wonder
- 51:02Speaker 1: if they're gonna show them. Yeah, we're gonna get a
- 51:03Speaker 1: flashbacks in campfire Christmas. God, I hope, so I'm gonna
- 51:08Speaker 1: have a young Amy T Guarden. This is gonna be amazing.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Let's hope. Let's hope.
- 51:13Speaker 3: Next up on Saturday, December tenth on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.
- 51:18Speaker 3: The Gift of Peace, which stars Nicki Deloache and Brendan Elliott.
- 51:22Speaker 3: High quality cast YEP artist Tracy is a once devout
- 51:26Speaker 3: Christian who has stopped believing in God after her husband
- 51:29Speaker 3: tragically died. Despite her prayers. As her second Christmas without
- 51:32Speaker 3: him approaches, she tries going to a support group for
- 51:35Speaker 3: inspiration and comfort. This is just Hallmark's gift to their
- 51:40Speaker 3: longtime base. Yeah, but I like Niki DeLoach, I like
- 51:44Speaker 3: Brandon Elliott.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Yeah, this is okay. I'll watch this one. Maybe let
- 51:50Speaker 1: me ask you did Hallmark were there movies first? Like
- 51:56Speaker 1: the concept of them like highly rich in my faith?
- 52:03Speaker 3: I don't think as an overall theme, No, was that involved.
- 52:09Speaker 3: I think there was more of a feature in some
- 52:12Speaker 3: of their movies than it is now.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Okay. Next up, Sunday, December eleventh on the Hallmark Channel.
- 52:18Speaker 1: This is a good one, guys. The Holiday Sitter stars
- 52:21Speaker 1: Jonathan Bennett, George Chrissette, and Chelsea Hobbes. Sam is a
- 52:26Speaker 1: workaholic bouchelor who baby sits his niece and nephew before
- 52:30Speaker 1: the holidays, when his sister and her husband have to
- 52:32Speaker 1: go out of town. Completely out of his element, he
- 52:35Speaker 1: recruits help from their handsome neighbor, Jason, and finds himself
- 52:39Speaker 1: in a unexpected romance. I'm watching this no matter what,
- 52:44Speaker 1: as am I. This movie was originally titled A Manny
- 52:46Speaker 1: for Christmas? Oh? Was it a Manny?
- 52:49Speaker 2: Oh?
- 52:49Speaker 1: A Mammy for Christmas. I'm watching this, Belove Jonathan Bennett.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm here. I wonder why they changed the A Manny
- 52:57Speaker 1: for Christmas is kind of cute. Look, I'm watching this.
- 53:00Speaker 1: I'm excited about it. Show me a kiss, show me
- 53:05Speaker 1: is there gonna be tack? Sorry? Is there gonna be
- 53:07Speaker 1: a kiss in this movie? Yes? I'm excited for it.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I'm so excited for Jonathan Bennett.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Winding down last weekend of Countdown to Christmas Friday, December sixteenth,
- 53:20Speaker 3: on the Hallmark Channel Holiday Heritage, which stars Lindy Greenwood,
- 53:24Speaker 3: Brooks Darnell, and Holly Robinson Pete. You may remember brook
- 53:27Speaker 3: Darnell from a Winter Getaway m HM bad movie. Cute
- 53:30Speaker 3: man Ella returns to her hometown to mend fences with
- 53:34Speaker 3: her fractured family with the help of Griffin, her ex boyfriend.
- 53:37Speaker 3: She encourages her family to celebrate Christmas and Kwansa to
- 53:41Speaker 3: heal their past wounds before.
- 53:42Speaker 1: It's too late. Oh, this is the Kwanza movie. Notice
- 53:45Speaker 1: we don't go full Kwanza. Yeah. Interesting tiptoeing tiptoeing in there.
- 53:51Speaker 1: But I love a Holly Robinson Pete movie. Me too.
- 53:56Speaker 1: I'll watch this one. Definitely watch this one. Saturday, December
- 53:59Speaker 1: seven spent on the Hallmark Channel Twas the Night Before Christmas.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna pause there and say another bad title for
- 54:08Speaker 1: seo reasons. This one stars Tory DeVito and Zane Holtz.
- 54:12Speaker 1: A former actress trying to break into directing tests her
- 54:16Speaker 1: skills with the town's annual Christmas Eve Courtroom production, in
- 54:20Speaker 1: which the true authorship of the famous poem A Visit
- 54:25Speaker 1: from Saint Nick's is debated. I don't know about this one.
- 54:33Speaker 1: This really doesn't do anything for me. Now. I like
- 54:37Speaker 1: Tory DeVito.
- 54:38Speaker 3: I kind of like the idea of twas the Night
- 54:40Speaker 3: before Christmas tie in, but it could be real boring.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Yeah. On Saturday, December seventeenth, on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries,
- 54:49Speaker 1: we have five more minutes moments like these.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Again, this is a series. There's other five More Minutes movies.
- 54:56Speaker 3: I don't know how many, stars Ashley Williams and Lucas Bryant. Oh,
- 55:00Speaker 3: it's number two.
- 55:03Speaker 1: The second Holidays story, inspired by Scottie McCreery's song five
- 55:09Speaker 1: More Minutes. A young widow's Christmas wish for her son
- 55:14Speaker 1: is answered in unexpected ways when she returns to their
- 55:17Speaker 1: old home for the holidays. Another tear jerker.
- 55:20Speaker 3: It's like the friggin Christmas Shoes when he doesn't even
- 55:23Speaker 3: know that song.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I don't. I'm just gonna send it to you. And
- 55:27Speaker 1: it's the saddest, most emotionally manipulative song you've ever heard.
- 55:33Speaker 1: It's about a little boy who wants to buy shoes
- 55:35Speaker 1: for his mom because she's gonna meet Jesus that night.

- 55:50Speaker 1: and a half. I will watch this ay because I
- 55:54Speaker 1: think I'm here with the tear jerking stories. But I
- 55:56Speaker 1: love Ashley Williams, and you know she's real peppy and right.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I think she may have to tone it down to
- 56:01Speaker 1: be the widow in this movie. Yeah, interested to see
- 56:05Speaker 1: how that goes me too. This is crazy to me.
- 56:07Speaker 1: This is the last movie on December eighteenth. We're still
- 56:13Speaker 1: like ten days out from Christmas.

- 56:17Speaker 3: on Christmas, even Christmas?
- 56:19Speaker 1: Why not they watch them on Thanksgiving? Why don't they

- 57:03Speaker 1: This feels like real close to dangerously stereotypical kind of
- 57:09Speaker 1: Willehna Kamercle keep them together. I'm really hoping that Julie
- 57:13Speaker 1: Sherman Wolf. I love the way Julie Sherman Wolf's writes.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I'm confident that she is gonna give us a solid,
- 57:24Speaker 1: funny movie. I believe in Jay Sharm's ability to deliver
- 57:27Speaker 1: on the dialogue. I am looking forward to it overall. Overall,
- 57:31Speaker 1: how are you feeling about the countdown to Christmas? I'm

- 57:36Speaker 1: these movies you would like to watch? Ninety five? I
- 57:39Speaker 1: would like. It's a lot of television consumption. It's a
- 57:43Speaker 1: busy two months. I don't know if I'm gonna be
- 57:46Speaker 1: able to get through all of them.
- 57:48Speaker 3: No, but we will be recapping a number of those movies.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Of course, you're nodding like you don't agree with me. No, Yes,
- 57:55Speaker 3: I was thinking. I'm like, maybe we're gonna have to ask.
