A security guard at a Dollarama in St. James was stabbed during a confrontation with someone suspected of shoplifting, but thankfully survived in stable condition. Police arrested 29-year-old Nelson Preston Sumner, who faces aggravated assault, robbery, and probation violations — charges that come after his prior assault conviction and weapon ban.
