- 0:00Speaker 1: Three Things Morning.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to Thursday. Thank you for starting your day
- 0:05Speaker 2: with us. Ricky's Got those Three Things, presented by Mark
- 0:07Speaker 2: Spain Real Estate.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Drake maybe on the verge of a major Billboard chart first.
- 0:12Speaker 3: According to early projections, his three new albums are expected
- 0:16Speaker 3: to take the top three spots on the Billboard two hundred.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Iceman is projected to debut at number one with around
- 0:23Speaker 3: four hundred and seventy five thousand album equivalent units. Maid
- 0:27Speaker 3: of Honor and Habibti are each tracking around one hundred
- 0:31Speaker 3: and twenty thousand. If the numbers stay this way, he
- 0:34Speaker 3: could become the first artist to occupy the chart's entire
- 0:37Speaker 3: top three at once. Also, his sophomore album, take Care
- 0:41Speaker 3: is re entering the top twenty because it's approaching its
- 0:44Speaker 3: fifteenth anniversary later this year. Kind of crazy to think
- 0:48Speaker 3: it's been fifteen years. Whenever anybody says anything like that
- 0:50Speaker 3: when it comes to music, it really puts things into
- 0:53Speaker 3: perspective for me of like where we're at. This year's
- 0:57Speaker 3: Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Achievement Awards announced winners, some
- 1:02Speaker 3: to take note of and to congratulate. People on Nashville
- 1:05Speaker 3: sc was named Professional Team of the Year, Titans defense
- 1:08Speaker 3: tackle Jeffrey Simmons earned Professional Athlete of the Year, and
- 1:12Speaker 3: Tennesseean of the Year went to Candice story Lee, who
- 1:15Speaker 3: is a longtime member of the Vanderbilt administration. So congrats
- 1:19Speaker 3: to all of the winners, including the three that I
- 1:21Speaker 3: just mentioned. Obviously, a huge feet and something to be
- 1:24Speaker 3: really proud of. People are starting to drink coffee with
- 1:27Speaker 3: a chaser of grapefruit juice. This is apparently a way
- 1:31Speaker 3: to get more caffeine out of your coffee. Really, scientific
- 1:35Speaker 3: research finds that grapefruit juice contains, or grapefruits in general,
- 1:39Speaker 3: contain compounds that can interfere with enzymes in your body
- 1:44Speaker 3: that break down substances, including caffeine, So in theory, it
- 1:48Speaker 3: could slow caffeine's metabolism and keep it in your system longer.
- 1:53Speaker 3: There are a lot of people saying, we don't know
- 1:55Speaker 3: enough about this to actually know if that's true. There
- 1:57Speaker 3: aren't enough studies to prove that this is real. But like, scientifically,
- 2:02Speaker 3: it sounds like they're onto something you ask me, and
- 2:06Speaker 3: obviously grape for juice with that kind of flavor along
- 2:11Speaker 3: with the coffee acidity might not be great for your stomach.
- 2:14Speaker 3: So if you are going to try this, I recommend
- 2:16Speaker 3: doing it on a day that you don't have a
- 2:18Speaker 3: lot going on because it might really mess with you. Okay,
- 2:22Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 2:24Speaker 3: need to know.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It's a good tip. Thank you very much, Ricky. Let's
- 2:26Speaker 2: play Somber. We do have more tickets to see Shaboozi
- 2:29Speaker 2: on the way for the first caller about six fifteen,
- 2:32Speaker 2: a little.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Over ten minutes. We'll ask you to call for those
- 2:35Speaker 1: on the river. Let's go.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 2:39Speaker 2: On It's one o seven five the River saying good
- 2:44Speaker 2: morning to Dawn in Nashville.
- 2:46Speaker 1: What's up, don What are you doing?
- 2:47Speaker 3: I am headed to work.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Where do you work?
- 2:50Speaker 5: I work at a hotel?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Okay, okay, what do you do at the hotel?
- 2:54Speaker 3: I'm an assistant manager.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Okay, pop off, sire.
- 2:59Speaker 3: That's like your title.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Are your days pretty standard? Or is the type of
- 3:03Speaker 2: thing where you walk in you don't really know what
- 3:05Speaker 2: you're walking into.
- 3:06Speaker 7: You really don't know what you're walking into.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Are you at a hotel that's like downtown? Because I
- 3:12Speaker 3: can imagine that that's got to be absolutely insane.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Yeah, I am, oh man, So.
- 3:17Speaker 3: You are probably gearing up for Memorial Day weekend knowing
- 3:21Speaker 3: that like things are going to get real wild.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Yeah, you never know what's gonna happen, what kind of
- 3:27Speaker 7: calls you're going to get in the middle tonight.
- 3:29Speaker 3: That's what I'm thinking about, is like, what are the
- 3:31Speaker 3: crazy calls that you get out of nowhere, like in
- 3:34Speaker 3: the middle of sleeping, that something wild has happened. What's
- 3:37Speaker 3: like the craziest one you've gotten. Oh, somebody bought a
- 3:42Speaker 3: pet snake and it got loose?
- 3:43Speaker 6: No, no, yes, I never want to say to the
- 3:51Speaker 6: hotel ever again.
- 3:52Speaker 3: They really thought.
- 3:53Speaker 4: That he had had it in there, but they weren't
- 3:55Speaker 4: one hundred pc suret because like.
- 3:56Speaker 7: They had a tub and it kept moving and final like, yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 7: it got.
- 4:01Speaker 3: What do you do in that situation for like a
- 4:03Speaker 3: couple of weeks? Do you have he had been there
- 4:05Speaker 3: for a couple of weeks the steak?
- 4:07Speaker 5: Yeah, So when the housekeepers went in, they.
- 4:09Speaker 7: Were like, there is something over by the window and
- 4:11Speaker 7: the stub.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I don't know what it is, absolutely not.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, the way I would burn the entire
- 4:17Speaker 1: hotel to the ground.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I don't think she wants to hear that.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Okay, if anything wild's happening, you didn't want.
- 4:27Speaker 7: To tell anybody like, oh, there's a snake on the loops.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Absolutely not. You have people exactly who are going to
- 4:32Speaker 3: burn your hotel on the ground, so you definitely don't
- 4:34Speaker 3: want to tell anybody that. But if you have anything
- 4:37Speaker 3: crazy happening like that happens during the holiday weekend, you
- 4:40Speaker 3: have to call us and tell us what it is.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Okay, for sure, Thank you.
- 4:43Speaker 3: I'm fascinated by the wild stories that you could probably tell.
- 4:47Speaker 5: People are Now when you stay in a hotel, you're
- 4:49Speaker 5: going to be thinking like.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Stay at another hotel.
- 4:55Speaker 2: No, No, we should probably go ahead and tell you
- 4:58Speaker 2: that you are on the dollar of the day.
- 4:59Speaker 1: So we're gonna give you to get to see Shaboozy.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Great, Yeah, send Amphitheater September eighteenth.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Congratulations, thank you, it'll be.
- 5:07Speaker 3: A nice break from the insanity. Dawn.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Oh, that's definitely all.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Right, love, hang on the line. We gotta get your info.
- 5:14Speaker 7: Okay, great, thank you.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Ricky Is, Zach and Mano. In the morning on the river.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Zach Is found yet another way to maneuver his way
- 5:24Speaker 3: into my wedding, and it's kind of insane.
- 5:27Speaker 1: It's not my.
- 5:28Speaker 6: Fault that I was not invited, so I'm trying my
- 5:30Speaker 6: best to be involved.
- 5:32Speaker 3: He wants to be involved in any way, shape or form,
- 5:34Speaker 3: and obviously, in true Zach fashion, he's done it in
- 5:38Speaker 3: the most obnoxious way possible.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Yeahhoker, it's it's making me uncomfortable. What you doing, Zach?
- 5:42Speaker 2: Just in case anybody doesn't know, Ricky is eloping next month.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It's coming up soon, and nobody was invited. You didn't
- 5:48Speaker 2: just leave Zack off literally.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Not a singular person, not our parents, no one.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Okay, So right after Olivia Dean, Ricky's going to explain
- 5:55Speaker 2: how Zach is trying to weasel his way in.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Now Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Livia Dean. It's one O seven five the river.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Ricky is getting married, so soon next month it's happening.
- 6:09Speaker 2: They're eloping. Nobody was invited to this wedding. Nope, your
- 6:14Speaker 2: friends are just gonna be Ricky and AJ. But Zach
- 6:16Speaker 2: is very upset by this, and Zach has been doing
- 6:18Speaker 2: whatever he can to be involved.
- 6:20Speaker 6: I wanted to invite myself, like I just want to go.
- 6:23Speaker 3: So you have invited yourself on multiple occasions and I'm
- 6:26Speaker 3: consistently telling you no. And by next month we mean
- 6:30Speaker 3: literally in two weeks. Yes, in two weeks we leave
- 6:33Speaker 3: to go Elope in Puerto Rico. We are very excited
- 6:36Speaker 3: about it, since Zach is not involved, and since Zach
- 6:39Speaker 3: has tried to invite himself on multiple occasions and I
- 6:41Speaker 3: keep shutting it down. He's trying to involve himself in
- 6:43Speaker 3: any way, shape or form.
- 6:45Speaker 1: God forbid, I'd be a good friend.
- 6:47Speaker 3: He found a new way to involve himself in my
- 6:49Speaker 3: wedding by not coming, which I'm so happy that you've
- 6:52Speaker 3: let that dream go because you're.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Not coming, so you think.
- 6:55Speaker 3: But he is determined to figure out what our wedding
- 6:59Speaker 3: song is.
- 7:00Speaker 6: I have gone through so many different options like what
- 7:04Speaker 6: it could be.
- 7:04Speaker 3: But by determined, I mean he is consistently asking is
- 7:08Speaker 3: it this one?
- 7:08Speaker 8: Is it?
- 7:09Speaker 3: This one?
- 7:09Speaker 4: Is it?
- 7:10Speaker 3: This one?
- 7:10Speaker 8: Is it?
- 7:10Speaker 3: This one?
- 7:11Speaker 1: You won't even tell me the artist?
- 7:12Speaker 3: I won't. So I feel like we need to make
- 7:14Speaker 3: a series out of this to see if, by chance,
- 7:16Speaker 3: Zach actually does get the answer correct.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I hate this, though, I want you guys, Ricky and
- 7:21Speaker 2: Zach or Ricky and aj I want you guys to
- 7:23Speaker 2: keep some stuff for yourselves, you know what I mean, Like, hey,
- 7:26Speaker 2: it should be personal and private and just between the
- 7:29Speaker 2: two of you. I don't want to know your wedding song.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I don't want Every time he throws out a song,
- 7:32Speaker 2: it makes me sweat a little bit because he's gonna
- 7:34Speaker 2: guess it.
- 7:35Speaker 6: I just want to know because I want to be involved,
- 7:37Speaker 6: Like I just want to be a friend and like
- 7:39Speaker 6: people feel like I'm part of your life still, but
- 7:42Speaker 6: yet you're shutting me out.
- 7:43Speaker 3: He did, okay, settled down. He did literally say, well,
- 7:48Speaker 3: I think that we should play it the day that
- 7:50Speaker 3: you get married.
- 7:51Speaker 6: So yeah, like I want to play it in my
- 7:54Speaker 6: house while you're getting married so that I feel that
- 7:57Speaker 6: I'm there.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Which sounds really sweet but also kind of.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Insane, and I kind of love it as much as
- 8:04Speaker 2: I hate this. Are you Are we making guesses right now?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Is that gonna throw out a few options?
- 8:09Speaker 3: I could throw a few options. I don't think he's
- 8:11Speaker 3: gonna guess it correctly. Like I'm pretty confident that he's
- 8:14Speaker 3: not going.
- 8:14Speaker 1: To get this. Is it? Bruce Springsteen?
- 8:17Speaker 3: You have to guess the actual song name.
- 8:19Speaker 6: When You Need Me by Bruce Springsteen. No, I Want
- 8:22Speaker 6: to Marry You by Bruce Springsteen. No, okay, party by
- 8:26Speaker 6: Bad Bunny.
- 8:27Speaker 4: No.
- 8:30Speaker 3: He gets three guesses every day. You can follow along
- 8:34Speaker 3: at one of seven five of the River because we're
- 8:35Speaker 3: gonna do it on the Rivers Instagram page. Three guesses
- 8:38Speaker 3: every single day. We'll see if he actually guesses it,
- 8:41Speaker 3: and if he does, I'm going to be absolutely blown away.
- 8:44Speaker 3: I have to think of something that you get as
- 8:46Speaker 3: a reward. It's not gonna be that you.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Get guess you are you actually gonna tell him that
- 8:51Speaker 2: he got it right?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:53Speaker 8: It right?
- 8:53Speaker 6: Do you even actually have a wedding song? Or is
- 8:56Speaker 6: this just a bit that you're trolling.
- 8:57Speaker 3: We just picked one literally over the week end.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Okay, so it's confirmed it's happening.
- 9:02Speaker 3: It's confirmed, it is happening.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Not happen change it.
- 9:04Speaker 3: We are not going to change it. We are not
- 9:06Speaker 3: going to change it. If by chance, we do decide
- 9:08Speaker 3: to change it, which we're not going to. I will
- 9:11Speaker 3: still honor if you got that one correctly.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough, Okay.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Follow along at one oh seven five the River on Instagram.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Zach's three guesses every day. I don't like it.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Three days right just after seven o'clock, thank you for
- 9:24Speaker 2: being here, starting your day with us. Ricky Sanchez has
- 9:26Speaker 2: those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate Flavor Flaves.
- 9:30Speaker 3: SHE Weekend has been approved to move forward in Las Vegas,
- 9:34Speaker 3: So this is going to be a parade in multi
- 9:35Speaker 3: day series of events to honor female athletes, which is
- 9:39Speaker 3: really cool. He personally pitched the idea for SHE Weekend
- 9:42Speaker 3: of events in July and the Cloud County Sorry, Clark
- 9:45Speaker 3: County Commission, that was a lot of season os. Clark
- 9:49Speaker 3: County Commission approved the plan in a unanimous vote this week,
- 9:53Speaker 3: so it's officially going to happen, and Flavorflaves said quote,
- 9:57Speaker 3: He's honored to be able to bring these units state's
- 10:00Speaker 3: Olympic athletes to Las Vegas. Obviously, this all started because
- 10:04Speaker 3: there are a lot of Olympic athletes who need a
- 10:06Speaker 3: lot of help in order to actually get to the Olympics.
- 10:08Speaker 3: It costs a lot of money and they don't get
- 10:10Speaker 3: paid a lot.
- 10:10Speaker 1: To do it.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And he's a big supporter of female athletes. He's a
- 10:15Speaker 3: girl dad himself, so this is his way of getting
- 10:18Speaker 3: involved and I love to see it TSA has launched
- 10:22Speaker 3: a new program that they say will streamline screening. So
- 10:25Speaker 3: the Transportation Security Administration is rolling out TSA Gold Plus
- 10:29Speaker 3: is what it's called, which is a new public private
- 10:32Speaker 3: airport screening program that they say is going to help
- 10:35Speaker 3: security and their lines move faster even during government shutdowns.
- 10:41Speaker 3: The initiative lets airports opt into customize screenings with partnerships
- 10:45Speaker 3: backed by private industry funding. There's a lot going on here, okay.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Airports that implement the public private screenings will also be
- 10:53Speaker 3: able to continue during government shutdowns since they don't depend
- 10:58Speaker 3: solely on federal budget cycle, according to the agency, I
- 11:02Speaker 3: don't know how much money it is to opt into this.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I don't know if it's something that you have to
- 11:06Speaker 3: pay out of pocket for or if it's something that
- 11:08Speaker 3: we the people are paying for as a whole. Not sure.
- 11:11Speaker 3: There's still a lot of details to come, but they
- 11:13Speaker 3: are rolling it out relatively soon, and Tennessee is expected
- 11:19Speaker 3: to see some of the busiest holiday traffic on record
- 11:22Speaker 3: this weekend. Triple A says nearly nine hundred and fifty
- 11:25Speaker 3: thousand Tennesseeans will take trips that are going to be
- 11:29Speaker 3: at least fifty miles outside of where they live. A
- 11:31Speaker 3: lot of them are hitting the road this year, so
- 11:34Speaker 3: there's gonna be a lot of congestion. In order to
- 11:37Speaker 3: help that, te DO is suspending most interstate construction lay
- 11:40Speaker 3: enclosures from Friday through early Tuesday morning, but there are
- 11:44Speaker 3: still some restrictive areas. Things to keep in mind. Traffic
- 11:47Speaker 3: experts say the heaviest delays will likely hit Thursday and
- 11:50Speaker 3: Friday evenings along with Monday afternoon. Major slowdowns are expected
- 11:55Speaker 3: around downtown Nashville are usual. What else is new? Around
- 11:59Speaker 3: the airport? Oh, I'm shocked. And Interstates twenty four, forty,
- 12:04Speaker 3: and sixty five. All things you already know, but things
- 12:07Speaker 3: to keep in mind as you are traveling. I'm Ricky Sanchez,
- 12:10Speaker 3: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Crazy nine hundred and fifty thousand people.
- 12:14Speaker 3: You said, yep, it's fifty thousand, Tennessee.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Yeah, let'll just round it up to a million. That's
- 12:19Speaker 1: a lot of people. Be careful out there, take your
- 12:22Speaker 1: time getting where you're going. Ah, youre Zella Langley.
- 12:24Speaker 2: We have a fact on the other side of the song,
- 12:26Speaker 2: Zax facts.
- 12:27Speaker 1: We are learning together.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Tax class is in.
- 12:30Speaker 7: Sessions sas facts brought to you by Mark Spain real
- 12:34Speaker 7: Estate on one O seven.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Five the River.
- 12:36Speaker 6: You know, whenever you eat an onion, you just have
- 12:39Speaker 6: like onion breath. Yes, I have a way to fix it.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Apparently chewing on parsley can improve your onion breath because
- 12:45Speaker 6: it's like full of horophill, so it helps neutralize the
- 12:49Speaker 6: odor causing compounds in the onion.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I definitely knew that chewing on parsley is like a
- 12:54Speaker 2: quick breath freshener, not necessarily onion related, but I've seen
- 12:58Speaker 2: people do that before, and.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Really, you know, it's because of the chlorophyll. No, I
- 13:02Speaker 3: love that word so much for some reason, laora phyl chlorophyl.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Who thought of that?
- 13:06Speaker 1: I don't know, but I love it. And that's your
- 13:07Speaker 1: factor today exactly.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 13:13Speaker 3: On the river.
- 13:15Speaker 2: This is a question for parents or aunts and uncles,
- 13:18Speaker 2: anybody that has kids in your life. What do they
- 13:20Speaker 2: fill up your camera role your photo album on your
- 13:24Speaker 2: phone with?
- 13:24Speaker 1: What are they constantly taking pictures of?
- 13:26Speaker 3: You know those firsthand?
- 13:27Speaker 1: keV I do. I have two kids.
- 13:29Speaker 2: They both have very specific things that they're constantly taking
- 13:32Speaker 2: pictures of and they're very different things. But yeah, when
- 13:35Speaker 2: a kid gets a hold of your your phone, that's it.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Six one, five, seven, three seven nine one oh seven.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Call us and tell us what your kid, grandkid, nephew,
- 13:44Speaker 3: whoever loves to fill up your phone camera roll with.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach.
- 13:50Speaker 4: And Meno in the morning. River.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Kids love to take your phone and play on it,
- 13:56Speaker 3: and somehow they always end up in your camera taking pictures.
- 13:59Speaker 3: It's seven five the River. Kevin just asked a few
- 14:02Speaker 3: minutes ago what your kids fill your camera roll with?
- 14:05Speaker 3: It could be your kids, your grandkids, whoever. We have
- 14:08Speaker 3: Sandra and Nashville on the line. Good morning, Sandra, good morning.
- 14:12Speaker 3: What do you you have kids and grandkids?
- 14:14Speaker 5: I'm calling about my great grandson. He's eight years old.
- 14:17Speaker 3: There we go, Okay, what does he like to take
- 14:19Speaker 3: pictures of?
- 14:20Speaker 5: Well, sometimes when he's in my car, he wants to
- 14:23Speaker 5: use my phone to play games and he takes the
- 14:26Speaker 5: do you wont himself? I love face thinking high out crazy,
- 14:32Speaker 5: but I don't see it. So after I get home.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Oh, it's like a nice little gift for later.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I was about to say, Sandra, you definitely have to
- 14:41Speaker 1: save those.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Oh I do.
- 14:42Speaker 2: But yeah, when it's happening and my kids are taking
- 14:46Speaker 2: taking all these selfies on my phone, in the moment,
- 14:49Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You got filling up, I think. But then later, if
- 14:51Speaker 1: I'm scrolling back and I see him, I'm like, oh,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep these forever. They're so cute.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Well, the thing is, I don't know what he's doing
- 14:59Speaker 5: because he's in a car.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I go home.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I look at the you know, and I look at.
- 15:03Speaker 5: The phone, and I'm thinking, that's really cute. But I
- 15:06Speaker 5: really didn't need twenty seven pictures of you.
- 15:09Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, let it go, kid Andrew, thank you
- 15:14Speaker 3: for calling in this morning.

- 15:22Speaker 2: eight this weekend. He has gotten really into taking like uh,
- 15:26Speaker 2: his attempt at like stop motion animation. Like he'll take

- 15:34Speaker 1: it's creative.
- 15:35Speaker 4: I like it.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And my daughter, this is maybe less creative, has an
- 15:38Speaker 2: obsession with like hair follicles. So she's got all of
- 15:41Speaker 2: these extreme follicles. Yes, yes, very close up pictures of
- 15:46Speaker 2: everybody in our family. She'll just sit there and like
- 15:48Speaker 2: go through your hair like a monkey and take pictures.
- 15:51Speaker 3: What I feel like, she's planning a murder. There is
- 15:54Speaker 3: the way.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Bizarre thing I've ever heard.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Fascinated with hair follicles. She's plucking your guy's hair and
- 16:01Speaker 3: she is planning something.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So that's not true.
- 16:04Speaker 2: You know how people like they like they like to
- 16:06Speaker 2: watch like pimple popping videos on She doesn't do that,
- 16:09Speaker 2: but she loves hair follicle videos.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I'm telling you, she's planning a murder or some kind
- 16:14Speaker 3: of robbery.
- 16:15Speaker 1: One thing I've ever heard.
- 16:16Speaker 3: There's gonna come a day where they're gonna there's just
- 16:18Speaker 3: gonna be a headline of Kevin arrested for something.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Look through my phone, the photos on my phone, all
- 16:25Speaker 2: these little toys and then hair followers that's.
- 16:27Speaker 5: All I have.
- 16:28Speaker 8: Uh huh.
- 16:28Speaker 4: They're gonna be like this man's psychotic Ricky is Zach

- 18:44Speaker 3: What did your job give you instead of a raise?
- 18:47Speaker 1: Anxiety?
- 18:48Speaker 3: It's one O seven five the river. We're talking actual
- 18:52Speaker 3: Oh you know, like I had a friend who instead
- 18:55Speaker 3: of giving her a raise, they bought her a luxury car.

- 19:01Speaker 5: Oh?

- 19:05Speaker 2: Like nobody's getting a raise, but let's have a pizza party.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Which might be the answer that most people give. Let's
- 19:10Speaker 3: see six one five, seven, three seven nine one o seven.
- 19:14Speaker 3: What did you get instead of a raise?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Zach and Menno in the morning, Casey, and spring Hill
- 19:23Speaker 4: is on the line.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Casey, we are not gonna say what company this was,
- 19:27Speaker 2: but our question what did you get instead of a raise?
- 19:31Speaker 1: What did the company give you instead of giving you
- 19:32Speaker 1: more money?
- 19:33Speaker 4: Okay, it was a.
- 19:34Speaker 7: Sales company, I can say that. And if you sold
- 19:37Speaker 7: a million dollars for them, they had incentive they would
- 19:40Speaker 7: do they instead of like flying you out to like
- 19:43Speaker 7: California for a week, Uh, they sent a T shirt
- 19:47Speaker 7: and a box of Famous Amos cookies. No what Yeah?
- 19:52Speaker 7: Every person that did that?
- 19:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:55Speaker 3: What after?
- 19:56Speaker 7: So it happened after COVID, after they made a bunch
- 19:59Speaker 7: of like g cuts for like like they cut out
- 20:02Speaker 7: like part time. They cut out a lot of positions
- 20:04Speaker 7: all of corporate and got a raise. And then they
- 20:09Speaker 7: did that, like the CEO got a massive raise.
- 20:11Speaker 3: It was Wow, it was bad. Case Do you still
- 20:15Speaker 3: work there?
- 20:16Speaker 8: No?
- 20:16Speaker 3: Oh god good, it sounds terrible. Box I mean, and.
- 20:25Speaker 7: It was like a small stale box.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I want to I want to run into a wall
- 20:32Speaker 3: right now, Casey, I want to start.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Were you working toward hitting that million dollar mark thinking
- 20:38Speaker 2: that you were going to get something big and then.
- 20:39Speaker 1: This is what you got.
- 20:40Speaker 5: I was not just because of my position.
- 20:43Speaker 7: In the company. That wasn't really obtainable, okay, but I
- 20:47Speaker 7: knew lots of people. The company and the location made
- 20:52Speaker 7: that a good opportunity for a lot of people. And
- 20:56Speaker 7: I can tell you, like, like if we go off there,
- 20:58Speaker 7: I can tell.
- 20:59Speaker 5: You who it was, but it can't.
- 21:00Speaker 3: That's okay, that's ok Let me respect that.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Thank you, thank I'm thanking you a million dollars for
- 21:07Speaker 1: this company. You're going to give me a box of cookies.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and a tee shirt.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Don't forget the shirt.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Cannot forget, sir, that you can.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Lord Jay, thank you appreciate this story.
- 21:23Speaker 9: Welcome, have a good day.
- 21:25Speaker 3: You two love bye bye.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Six one five, seven, three seven, nine one oh seven.
- 21:30Speaker 2: What did your job give you instead of a raise?
- 21:32Speaker 9: Let us know.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Kaitlin in Nashville. Tell us your story.
- 21:41Speaker 9: Yeah, so I was with this company in medical films
- 21:46Speaker 9: for six years.
- 21:48Speaker 7: I was the number one rep in the nation.
- 21:51Speaker 9: Nice brought in almost three million dollars.
- 21:55Speaker 3: That year, and okay, Caitlyn as.
- 21:57Speaker 9: Winning the Rep of the Year and I got a
- 22:02Speaker 9: whopping three thousand dollars and then after taxes, it was
- 22:06Speaker 9: like nineteen dollars.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Of what I'm wrought in this Kaitlyn. No, that is
- 22:15Speaker 3: like enough to make you scream until you cry.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we don't normally, like, you know, get this
- 22:21Speaker 2: serious around here on this show, but like corporate greed
- 22:24Speaker 2: is going to make people snap.
- 22:27Speaker 1: It's too much.
- 22:29Speaker 9: Absolutely, it was insane. And so it was this huge
- 22:33Speaker 9: ordeal and your Rep of the Year. Well then they
- 22:35Speaker 9: waited almost two months to tell me what I actually won,
- 22:38Speaker 9: so I thought, oh wow, this is gonna be this
- 22:41Speaker 9: is huge.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Oh my god, this makes me so mad. I want
- 22:43Speaker 3: to scream so bad that I know that that is
- 22:46Speaker 3: insane for me to do on the radio right now.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Just know, Caitlin, I am beyond angry for we.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Screamed on your behalf later when we were off the air.
- 22:54Speaker 9: Oh I appreciate that.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Thank you, Caitlyn. I'm glad you're not there anymore. I
- 22:58Speaker 3: hope your job that you're in right now makes you
- 23:00Speaker 3: very happy.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Good good, Thank you for sharing with us.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Thanks for getting some of your rage and aggression out
- 23:07Speaker 2: here on the radio. Thank you.
- 23:11Speaker 1: You need to get a scream pillow in the studio, Ricky.
- 23:13Speaker 3: We normally the way that our contracts work, instead of
- 23:16Speaker 3: getting raises, they give us like vacation days. Yeah, extra
- 23:21Speaker 3: day off, an extra day off, or they're like, you
- 23:24Speaker 3: get a lot of concert tickets for free. We get
- 23:27Speaker 3: paid in concert tickets ticket.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Because that's as good as gold these days at this point.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's what it's turned into.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Ricky zachon in the morning, we are about to do
- 23:38Speaker 2: the daily double tap. But first, well, actually have a
- 23:43Speaker 2: wicked good summer on the river.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Here's the next word in our wicked long sentence.
- 23:49Speaker 3: We are going to do the next word. But I
- 23:50Speaker 3: gave you the wrong word for the next word. Oh wow,
- 23:54Speaker 3: I'm going to say the right word instead. So I
- 23:56Speaker 3: wanted to do that before you said the wrong Okay,
- 24:00Speaker 3: the correct word that you need is my.
- 24:05Speaker 1: That's it, my, there's your word.
- 24:07Speaker 4: My.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Let's see the daily del tep keep track of every word.
- 24:11Speaker 4: So in one seven the river.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Ah, yeah, we were a few minutes late with that.
- 24:15Speaker 1: That's our funt.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Actually it's not our fault. We were having a bunch
- 24:17Speaker 2: of technical issues in here, so it's not our fault.
- 24:19Speaker 2: We're not taking the blame this time.
- 24:20Speaker 3: The fact that our microphones work right now is a
- 24:22Speaker 3: miracle because they weren't working. Okay, so sorry about that,
- 24:26Speaker 3: but the word is mine. And now we'll get into
- 24:28Speaker 3: the daily double tap on one of seven.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Five the River.
- 24:30Speaker 2: And this one is very fitting because it's Nashville, which is,
- 24:34Speaker 2: you know, kind of the bachelorette bachelor party capital of the.
- 24:36Speaker 1: World these days.
- 24:37Speaker 2: If you've ever heard a particular saying come out of
- 24:41Speaker 2: somebody's mouth, this one is for you.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 24:43Speaker 8: I went to a bachelor party in Nashville last weekend.
- 24:45Speaker 8: And to anyone who's planning on going there for a
- 24:47Speaker 8: bachelor party or a bachelorette trip, and you're the person
- 24:49Speaker 8: in the group chat that's going to go, Nashville isn't
- 24:52Speaker 8: ready for us.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Nashville's never seen a group like us.
- 24:55Speaker 8: I can assure you they are ready for you. They've
- 24:58Speaker 8: actually never been so ready for you. Who would have
- 25:00Speaker 8: thought that they would have seen a group of thirteen
- 25:02Speaker 8: dudes in Lululemon drinking michelob Tu.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Yeah, Welsa invest facts been they're done that.
- 25:08Speaker 1: There's a million of you.
