  We join Nasrin's across the nation's in a sacred united

  calling to pray for the needs of our global churches and

  region. We are reminded that we are one

  body serving 1 Lord with 1 mission.

  This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Global Week
• 1:04
  of Prayer by Nazarene's Missions International, a beautiful
• 1:08
  milestone in a legacy of faithful intercession.
• 1:12
  Today we are honoured to introduce Erica Chavez Campus, a
• 1:16
  missionary serving as the Regional Missions Mobilization
• 1:19
  and Personal Coordinator for the Mesoamerica Region.
• 1:23
  With a heart for mission and a passion for equipping others,
• 1:26
  Erika plays a vital role in connecting people to their
• 1:29
  calling and strengthening the work of the Church across the
• 1:33
  region. Together with her husband David,
• 1:35
  she's raising their two daughters while living and
• 1:38
  surfing in the Dominican Republic.
• 1:41
  Exodus 40 verse 34. Then the cloud covered the
• 1:46
  Tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.
• 1:52
  Verse 35 Moses could no longer enter the Tabernacle because the
• 1:56
  cloud had settled down over it, and the glory of the Lord filled
• 2:02
  the Tabernacle. From ordinary to Extraordinary
• 2:07
  In Exodus 40, we see the conclusion of a story marked by
• 2:10
  work, obedience, and the faithfulness of a man called by
• 2:14
  God. We see Moses leaving his comfort
• 2:17
  behind, walking in obedience, interceding for a people who
• 2:21
  rebelled many times and refused to listen.
• 2:24
  But yet Moses remained faithful. Scripture tells us that he did
• 2:29
  everything just as the Lord had commanded him.
• 2:32
  Every detail, every object, every step was arranged
• 2:36
  according to God's instruction. I have a 5 year old daughter who
• 2:41
  loves playing with Barbies. One thing that always stands out
• 2:45
  to me is that before she starts playing, she carefully arranges
• 2:49
  every small piece in its place. Everything has to be organized
• 2:54
  first, the shoes, the clothes, the dishes.
• 2:57
  And when I think of that, I imagine Moses in the same way,
• 3:00
  carefully placing each element of the Tabernacle with reverence
• 3:05
  and obedience, making sure everything was done exactly as
• 3:08
  God had instructed. And the text says something
• 3:12
  powerful. So Moses finished the work in
• 3:15
  verse 33. He was probably thinking it was
• 3:19
  done. It had to look nice and perfect,
• 3:22
  and all he needed to do was being faithful.
• 3:25
  But the story doesn't end here. It says in verse 34 that the
• 3:30
  cloud covered the Tabernacle and the glory of the Lord filled it.
• 3:35
  It was daytime, yet the presence of God was so real, so
• 3:39
  overwhelming, that Moses could not enter.
• 3:42
  The glory of the Lord had descended.
• 3:45
  It was God himself manifesting among his people.
• 3:49
  Did you imagine that moment with me for a second?
• 3:53
  Like a scene from a movie where the cloud fills the space and
• 3:56
  God's presence becomes tangible, visible and near.
• 4:00
  They no longer needed to go up to the mountain.
• 4:03
  Now God had come closer to dwell among them.
• 4:07
  It is God with us. We know that one day Jesus was
• 4:12
  going to come even closer, even in a more humble and accessible
• 4:16
  way, making possible in our hearts what the people of Israel
• 4:20
  were never able to fully achieve.
• 4:23
  But from this story there are three lessons that I deeply love
• 4:28
  #1 the Lord is the one who completes the work.
• 4:32
  Perhaps you are an enemy leader, a ministry leader, or you are
• 4:36
  just listening for these podcasts for any reason, but I
• 4:40
  want you to remember today of a foundational truth.
• 4:44
  Even when the work appears finished.
• 4:47
  From our perspective, only the Lord truly completes it.
• 4:51
  God has called you for this time to put the house in, order, to
• 4:56
  serve the tables, to prepare the way.
• 4:59
  But it is He who fills the place with His glory, with His Spirit.
• 5:05
  So you can't. All you can do is complete that
• 5:08
  work, and He will complete His work, and then #2 His legacy.
• 5:13
  Although Moses could not enter the Tabernacle at the moment, he
• 5:17
  did not complain or murmur. A faithful, obedient man who
• 5:21
  worked closely with God understood that the goodness of
• 5:24
  the Lord was present and that something even greater was still
• 5:28
  to come. His obedience paved the way for
• 5:31
  future generations. Legacies not always enjoy join
• 5:35
  immediately, but it is always worth it.
• 5:39
  So what is our legacy today? If we finish our work and we
• 5:44
  envision that legacy that is going after us and #3A testimony
• 5:50
  to the surrounding nations. The glory of God did not only
• 5:54
  feel the Tabernacle, but He traveled with the people, guided
• 5:58
  them, and set them apart. The neighboring nations could
• 6:01
  see that something different walked with Israel.
• 6:04
  God's presence was a living testimony that others could long
• 6:08
  for. Can others see that in us?
• 6:11
  Can the world see that these in the Nazarenes around Eurasia and
• 6:15
  the world today? The question remains the same.
• 6:19
  Are you ready to do your part and allow God to fill His church
• 6:24
  with His glory and makes us a lie to the nations?
• 6:28
  When we do our part, The Lord always does His, even when we
• 6:33
  believe that everything is already finished.
• 6:36
  He is the power and the authority to transform
• 6:40
  realities. Can we believe that?
• 6:43
  Can we say today that He will transform our communities?
• 6:48
  He will transform our houses. He will transform our districts,
• 6:52
  our church communities, our fields, and the entire world.
• 6:58
  Let us pray that the Lord would fill you with His Spirit,
• 7:01
  encourage your heart, and strengthen you to remain
• 7:05
  faithful. Would you pray with me?

  Heavenly Father, we just want to thank you for your presence.
• 7:13
  Thank you for the wonderful gift that you are to us, that your
• 7:17
  presence is to us. Thank you for being God,
• 7:21
  Emmanuel, God with us. We just want to ask that one
• 7:26
  more time that presence can be so tangible for us that we can
• 7:32
  know and be assured that you are here with us, that your presence
• 7:37
  can feel our hearts once again. That you can come again to our
• 7:43
  hearts and talk to us again and call us again and awake our
• 7:48
  Spirit. Lord, we ask today that we can
• 7:51
  get the strength that all can only come from You, that You can
• 7:56
  help us to be that lie to the nations that we need to be.

  We pray that as Nazarenes around the world praying together this
• 8:06
  week, wonderful things and miracles can happen.
• 8:10
  We are doing our part and we truly believe that You are going
• 8:15
  to do yours. Thank you God for what you are
• 8:19
  going to do now or in the future now that we can see it or even
• 8:25
  as a legacy that we will not be able to see but we know you will
• 8:30
  be still with our children and and our grandchildren.
