- 0:15Speaker 1: Hello, beautiful beans, Welcome to part two of my Zoe
- 0:18Speaker 1: Marshall interview episode. So, as you guys know, this second
- 0:23Speaker 1: part is her answering the listener questions.
- 0:26Speaker 2: So I really hope that you loved part one.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Settle in, get comfortable, and listen to part two and
- 0:33Speaker 1: think about how many of those questions you can actually
- 0:35Speaker 1: apply to your situation and your life. And you're going
- 0:38Speaker 1: to realize that. I feel like hopefully you will realize
- 0:41Speaker 1: that manifesting is definitely more accessible than you probably thought.
- 0:45Speaker 1: And if you break it down the way that Zoe explains,
- 0:47Speaker 1: I think you'll be able to see some changes in
- 0:49Speaker 1: your life pretty quickly. So enjoy and that is all dogger.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Okay, this is one that I.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Think is really good question because let's just go into it.
- 1:00Speaker 1: How to correctly manifest things that I'm not sure about.
- 1:04Speaker 1: So for example, I want a new job or a
- 1:07Speaker 1: different boyfriend, et cetera. So it's like, you know you
- 1:09Speaker 1: don't want this, but you don't know exactly what.
- 1:12Speaker 2: You don't know exactly what it is. It's perfect because
- 1:14Speaker 2: it's the key to manifestation is you're going for the feeling,
- 1:17Speaker 2: you're not going for the thing. So if I could
- 1:20Speaker 2: tell anyone to hijack this whole point, Like the point
- 1:23Speaker 2: of the stories go to the feeling. So the job.
- 1:25Speaker 2: You don't need to know what the job is. You
- 1:27Speaker 2: just know that the job makes you feel full of passion,
- 1:31Speaker 2: that you're around like mighted people, that you're vibing off
- 1:34Speaker 2: each other, that it's a fun workplace, that it feels
- 1:36Speaker 2: like community, that.
- 1:37Speaker 1: You go home and can actually like for the rest.
- 1:41Speaker 2: That you can feel like it sparks you up. It's
- 1:45Speaker 2: that it's not going like, my god, what is that
- 1:48Speaker 2: thing that am I stylist? Am I a doctor? Am
- 1:51Speaker 2: I a dit Like? I think getting out of the
- 1:55Speaker 2: way of what we think it should be. Like love,
- 1:58Speaker 2: you could be queen and not even know you're queer
- 2:02Speaker 2: because you think or your mom has said you need
- 2:04Speaker 2: a tall, dark, handsome guy. Yeah, and you might sink
- 2:06Speaker 2: into the feeling of like what does a beautiful, emotionally
- 2:11Speaker 2: intelligent partner feel like? What does is it? Softness? And
- 2:15Speaker 2: that might be female, it might be male, it might
- 2:17Speaker 2: be fluid, you.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Know, like and people shut out, people cut out so
- 2:22Speaker 1: many good people in their like mis entering their life
- 2:25Speaker 1: a huge one that I hear all the time is
- 2:28Speaker 1: I just can't do the nice guy. It's like, no,
- 2:31Speaker 1: you can't do a doormat.
- 2:33Speaker 2: That's a difference.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You've not had a genuine and I don't even like
- 2:37Speaker 1: the title nice but a good person, just a good guy,
- 2:41Speaker 1: because you think that's boring in your head, you've equated
- 2:44Speaker 1: boring if I'm not, if you're not, can.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I tell you? I can assure you that Tyrone and
- 2:48Speaker 2: Benji the nicest, the best nic human you'll ever meet.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Every person that meets them loves what an amazing person, right,
- 2:57Speaker 2: the nicest, but his my husband is ask his noble shit,
- 3:01Speaker 2: he's got this gravitas.
- 3:02Speaker 1: He's it's not.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It's not dormat energy, but he is like to the
- 3:09Speaker 2: core a good human and it's that energy. If you
- 3:12Speaker 2: don't want someone that is meeting your every need and
- 3:15Speaker 2: like pandering up, like okay, be clear with that, that's okay.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I don't want someone's staunch and a little bit.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but I feel like when you know they were
- 3:24Speaker 1: too nice, so it's like you got it, like what
- 3:26Speaker 1: do you want?
- 3:27Speaker 2: You're not saying, you're not being clear, and you're saying
- 3:30Speaker 2: and stop saying what you don't want. Let's feel into
- 3:33Speaker 2: what you want. Yes, let's focus on all the things
- 3:36Speaker 2: we don't want, all the things that are not happening.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Because as you know your ra system, well, look, you're
- 3:41Speaker 2: the scientist. You look for look for all of the
- 3:44Speaker 2: things to make you right.
- 3:45Speaker 1: And with this question, it's like, can you you know
- 3:48Speaker 1: things you're not sure about the only problem about not
- 3:52Speaker 1: having certainty about something is the fact that this lack
- 3:55Speaker 1: of certainty makes us fixate on our current situation and
- 3:58Speaker 1: not wanting it. It's not that not certain is so bad.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's that because we don't know exactly what it is
- 4:04Speaker 1: that we want, it often keeps us in. But I
- 4:05Speaker 1: hate the fact that I always have to stay late,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and I hate my boss and I hate hate. So
- 4:11Speaker 1: then you almost like stuck and you can't look out.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So let's flip it for them into a very practical
- 4:16Speaker 2: way if you know everything you hate. This is how
- 4:19Speaker 2: I actually left that psychotic relationship. I did a pros
- 4:22Speaker 2: and cons list, put the cons of the job down right,
- 4:25Speaker 2: then flip it into what do you want? It's everything
- 4:28Speaker 2: that is the opposite of that con right, and then
- 4:30Speaker 2: start sitting in, meditate on visualize. Prime athletes call it
- 4:35Speaker 2: mental rehearsal, get your nervous system, get your neural pathways,
- 4:39Speaker 2: start to play with that that you can have those things.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I remember co creating a job at Kiss FM, and
- 4:49Speaker 2: I really wanted this radio job, and every day I'd
- 4:52Speaker 2: go on this priming walk. A priming walk is like
- 4:56Speaker 2: moving your body to get kind of the nervous system
- 4:59Speaker 2: and the thought it's in the body, and the feeling
- 5:01Speaker 2: right like all combined, thinking it, believing it, this is
- 5:05Speaker 2: my job this and this is where the de lulu
- 5:07Speaker 2: comes in, right, because the scientists can't prove this yet,
- 5:09Speaker 2: they will later. So I am walking around seeing it,
- 5:13Speaker 2: feeling it, thinking how I'm going to be seeing the receptionist,
- 5:17Speaker 2: how I'm going to feel nervous, like being there the
- 5:19Speaker 2: first day, having my radio breaks be critiqued. Then what
- 5:23Speaker 2: I did is I went home. I put it in
- 5:25Speaker 2: Google Maps and I drove there physically. I love that
- 5:28Speaker 2: because I need imagining your commute. I needed my body
- 5:32Speaker 2: to feel how long it takes? Oh my god, am
- 5:34Speaker 2: I going to be like? I needed to feel it
- 5:35Speaker 2: in my body. It. I ended up getting the job,
- 5:39Speaker 2: but also aligned action I had the contacts I was doing.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Do you know what you're also doing the things. I'm
- 5:45Speaker 2: not feeling it, but I am preparing myself that when
- 5:49Speaker 2: I'm in the audition, I fucking nail it because I'm
- 5:52Speaker 2: not nervous. I've prepared and I've primed all parts of
- 5:55Speaker 2: me and my body, mind, soul, nervous system. But I
- 5:58Speaker 2: can do whatever comes. It's kind of like my husband
- 6:01Speaker 2: was now a coach that played NRL for twenty years.
- 6:05Speaker 2: He would be in the shower pre game for so long,
- 6:08Speaker 2: and I'm like, what doing is? Like I was just
- 6:10Speaker 2: rehearsing every I don't actually know what they do in
- 6:13Speaker 2: that game, but like everything and every kick and every
- 6:18Speaker 2: thing right. So even the things that don't go right,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I'm ready for. Yeah. So you're not just priming to
- 6:23Speaker 2: meet the love of your life. Oh so romantic and
- 6:26Speaker 2: I the sex is so great and we're walking along
- 6:28Speaker 2: the beach. No, you're also thinking about we got to
- 6:31Speaker 2: talk about bank accounts. So we're going to emerge like
- 6:33Speaker 2: this is really we have hard conversations. How can we
- 6:35Speaker 2: take it? Complice it? Like? Am I ready? And when
- 6:38Speaker 2: you're like that feels gross? I want to vomit? Okay,
- 6:41Speaker 2: maybe check in? Do I need a little therapy around
- 6:44Speaker 2: do I have a block here? Do I have something
- 6:45Speaker 2: here that I'm not prepared? No, I still want to
- 6:47Speaker 2: be a workaholic, but I really want to have a
- 6:49Speaker 2: baby like talk about I want to meet a guy,
- 6:52Speaker 2: I have a fan like talk about that to yourself,
- 6:54Speaker 2: what do these things look like? Yeel it because they're not.
- 6:57Speaker 2: You're not making it make sense, and.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Then you're able to just and not catastrophized, but rehearsal,
- 7:03Speaker 1: but also you're.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Able to meet the issues. So I knew that for me.
- 7:08Speaker 2: At one stage the podcast was looking at being developed
- 7:11Speaker 2: into a series. I had a newborn baby, my second baby.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I was not ready. This was a great opportunity my
- 7:19Speaker 2: nervous system. I didn't want to not be with my baby.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'd done that already with my first child, so that
- 7:24Speaker 2: energetically had to be shut down for me. I knew
- 7:26Speaker 2: that if I was in the position where I was like,
- 7:29Speaker 2: all systems go, let's do that. How does a newborn fit?
- 7:34Speaker 2: It makes sense? And for some people it could like
- 7:37Speaker 2: they would just make it work. For me in the
- 7:39Speaker 2: way that it felt successful to mother that child in
- 7:43Speaker 2: that way, it looked different. Yeah, makes sense. So you
- 7:46Speaker 2: take yourself through the whole kind of script that land
- 7:49Speaker 2: it in your gut. It has to be felt in
- 7:52Speaker 2: your body, you know, for you to be one of
- 7:55Speaker 2: the best podcasters in the country, that stretch in your body,
- 8:00Speaker 2: that pull, that growth in your nervous system that develops.
- 8:04Speaker 2: You don't launch, and you're like, I'm number one, like you.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You you develop it, you develop it, and so there's
- 8:11Speaker 1: a part of this.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's realistic, that's right. Right, It's like I'm living in
- 8:15Speaker 2: that shitty, moldy little apartment. Oh, I want to live
- 8:19Speaker 2: in a mansion. Right currently, I feel like I live
- 8:22Speaker 2: in a mansion. So it doesn't matter if I have
- 8:24Speaker 2: the mansion or not. The next step though, if I'm
- 8:26Speaker 2: making three hundred dollars a week, is not getting the
- 8:29Speaker 2: mansion unless I marry rich overnight. It's like, okay, maybe
- 8:33Speaker 2: the next place is a one better with a little
- 8:35Speaker 2: lounge room. And then it's that feels like the mansion,
- 8:38Speaker 2: and then that feels like it feels like it. I
- 8:41Speaker 2: feel like we're very anappole, like it is. I feel, yeah, no,
- 8:45Speaker 2: it is.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And it's this idea of you know, almost expanding to
- 8:50Speaker 1: So for example, I remember when I switched from paying
- 8:54Speaker 1: three hundred dollars a week rent to four hundred and ten,
- 8:56Speaker 1: which sounds like.
- 8:57Speaker 2: That's a lot when you're you know, paying three hundred.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And I remember being thinking, oh my god, how am
- 9:03Speaker 1: I going to stretch this? But and then I thought, no, no, no, no, no,
- 9:06Speaker 1: my lifestyle will stretch to accommodate this, because it's right.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It's the place I know exactly, It's the place for
- 9:13Speaker 1: me things are going. I'm in an upward trajectory, you know,
- 9:16Speaker 1: will is it?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Yes? That knowingness is almost like a conversation with God.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean? It is. I've had that.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I've gone into jobs where I knew it was mine,
- 9:30Speaker 2: had no idea, but they're knowing that kind of audacity, right,
- 9:34Speaker 2: That is the part of the process of the priming
- 9:37Speaker 2: of all of the systems that happened before you get
- 9:40Speaker 2: it is it is.
- 9:41Speaker 1: It's this like comfortable knowing and it's not this nervous
- 9:45Speaker 1: energy that sits up here of like oh and I
- 9:48Speaker 1: think that's where a lot of people get caught up
- 9:49Speaker 1: in this whole idea of like manifestation, Oh oh, he's fineancing.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I think that's where a lot of people get caught
- 9:57Speaker 1: up in that where they almost like they have to
- 10:00Speaker 1: have this nervous excitement. But if something was actually happening
- 10:03Speaker 1: to you, you could feel excited, you could feel really happy.
- 10:07Speaker 1: But it's not this nervous like, oh, like it's happened.
- 10:10Speaker 2: It's kind of like, you know how, you'll keep leveling
- 10:13Speaker 2: up in life. The money might get more, this might happen.
- 10:17Speaker 2: But if you started when you had the three hundred
- 10:19Speaker 2: dollars apartment and someone was like, hey, we're gonna give
- 10:22Speaker 2: you fifty grand to two hour, you'd be like, yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 2: what do you mean, Like it would be unbelievable, unbelievable.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It has to be believable. You have to believe you
- 10:32Speaker 2: deserve it. That's why the tagline is manifest life. You deserve.
- 10:35Speaker 2: It has to be anchored and I deserve this. And
- 10:37Speaker 2: the thing is everyone deserves and that.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Is why most people. I think it's like eighty something percent.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's crazy of people that win the lotto lose it
- 10:46Speaker 1: after eighteen months, no matter the amount, because it's not
- 10:49Speaker 1: believable to them.
- 10:50Speaker 2: They don't deserve it.
- 10:51Speaker 1: If they're like, I'm not a rich person, I've come
- 10:53Speaker 1: into this money. I'm just going to spend whereas people
- 10:56Speaker 1: that have been millionaires self made who've lost it all
- 11:00Speaker 1: can become a millionaire in a couple.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Of years exactly exactly.
- 11:03Speaker 3: So it's like it's just I find that really, and
- 11:06Speaker 3: that's the mind is such an integral part of this process,
- 11:10Speaker 3: as is the body, right, because the mind is kind
- 11:13Speaker 3: of you've got to get out of the way and
- 11:14Speaker 3: then you've got.
- 11:14Speaker 2: To just be in. Yeah, that's right. And also it's fun.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Like I teach people how to do these priming calls
- 11:20Speaker 2: and they're completely delusional and it's about the things that
- 11:23Speaker 2: they want to bring in because we're sparring off each other,
- 11:26Speaker 2: and I'm going to be prompting thoughts. You haven't even
- 11:29Speaker 2: thought about that situation which you want to be bringing forward. Yes,
- 11:32Speaker 2: does that makes sense? Definitely? And I love to live
- 11:34Speaker 2: in this world because things constantly drop in co creations
- 11:38Speaker 2: landing out just like it's so fun. And the things
- 11:41Speaker 2: that don't happen, because let's talk about that, the things
- 11:44Speaker 2: that you desperately want and you've done all of it,
- 11:46Speaker 2: and you've taken the aligned action and you've trusted and
- 11:49Speaker 2: you've landed the abyss. The abyss is the place where
- 11:51Speaker 2: you wait you're so impatient. It's not coming. It's not coming.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Could take months, right, right, and then something else happens,
- 12:00Speaker 2: right the guy just stops texting you back, or the
- 12:02Speaker 2: job doesn't. You don't get the job. You're down to
- 12:04Speaker 2: the final two. And then that happened to me all
- 12:07Speaker 2: the time, right, because I wanted to be an actress,
- 12:09Speaker 2: same babe, And you know what, we're too ethnic. I'm
- 12:12Speaker 2: just going to say, yes, white TV where too ethnic anyway,
- 12:18Speaker 2: So you know, Home and Away, packed to the rafters,
- 12:20Speaker 2: all of it down to the last two show. And
- 12:24Speaker 2: then I was like, I got an audition to do
- 12:29Speaker 2: TV presenting, and I was like, fuck it, I'll go.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I'll be myself. This divine redirection I would never have chosen.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I would never have manifested. But it was me being
- 12:40Speaker 2: open to God universe shifting like this is you into
- 12:46Speaker 2: having the most extraordinary career in the media to now
- 12:48Speaker 2: getting here to be able to do this, Like of
- 12:50Speaker 2: course it was that's right. If I was an actress,
- 12:54Speaker 2: this would never completely different parts. It's a different life.
- 12:58Speaker 2: So you have to trust that. That's the biggest piece
- 13:01Speaker 2: of this, that is what is for you. We'll bind you,
- 13:03Speaker 2: you know, yeah, we don't chase weird trying. I love that.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, I think I've got a whole episode on
- 13:09Speaker 1: that actual statement.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Sense sense.
- 13:19Speaker 1: What is the best way to handle setbacks without feeling
- 13:22Speaker 1: like I'm undoing my manifestation?
- 13:26Speaker 2: A few things. One of them is called a pride list,
- 13:29Speaker 2: so really great, like really great for kind of like
- 13:34Speaker 2: recreating your neural pathways and tracking evidence of the things
- 13:38Speaker 2: that are working. So it could be. And we want
- 13:41Speaker 2: little tiny things. We don't just want number one podcast
- 13:43Speaker 2: in Australia. We want like my friend called today really distressed.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I was able to support her. I am a great friend. Yeah.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I went for a walk this morning along the water.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I honor my body, and throughout the day you anchor
- 13:56Speaker 2: back to that and you feel it, not just I'm
- 13:59Speaker 2: reading it, You're feeling into your pride list of like, God,
- 14:03Speaker 2: I feel good because then what we're able to do
- 14:06Speaker 2: is sink into gratitude. Gratitude is our shortcut, shortcut to everything.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah right, and we mean the teeniest, teeniest things like
- 14:15Speaker 2: the electricity. We don't know how that is here. That
- 14:20Speaker 2: could be delulu, you know, we get to use it
- 14:23Speaker 2: all of the time. The water that we have access
- 14:26Speaker 2: to for free. It is clean all of the things
- 14:29Speaker 2: like our fingers, like that, the fact that we have
- 14:32Speaker 2: working bodies, anything and everything that is mundane we want
- 14:35Speaker 2: to find the magic in. And so those two are
- 14:38Speaker 2: like really quick shortcuts I would say to getting you
- 14:41Speaker 2: back on track. Yeah, I love that. I love that.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Okay, this is a good one because we're talking about routine.
- 14:50Speaker 1: How can I integrate manifestation into my everyday routine?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yeah. So it's funny because whether you say that you know,
- 15:01Speaker 2: waking up and setting a declaration out of your sleep
- 15:05Speaker 2: state into your you know that kind of OUTFA state
- 15:07Speaker 2: and hijacking your RAS system. Yes, all of this is
- 15:11Speaker 2: co creation. It's not just doing a list of things
- 15:15Speaker 2: you want and like burning it. It's like every step
- 15:18Speaker 2: and you're going to have to create your own bespoke
- 15:20Speaker 2: way of that of how am I living as the
- 15:24Speaker 2: highest version of myself every day? Yeah? Right, So little
- 15:28Speaker 2: things you can do is if you've never meditated, we've
- 15:31Speaker 2: got a heap in there and you'll be able to
- 15:33Speaker 2: access them for free if you're really new, like do
- 15:37Speaker 2: a guided meditation visualization.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I love the one that you say, and I do
- 15:41Speaker 1: this all the time. It's the like the priming walk,
- 15:44Speaker 1: because it's not you're not just sitting in total stillness.
- 15:47Speaker 2: God. Because some people hate meditating, some people hate journaling,
- 15:52Speaker 2: Like I love it all. But even if you can go,
- 15:55Speaker 2: I'm going to like free write for five minutes, right
- 15:59Speaker 2: and just get the shit out of my head, and I'm
- 16:01Speaker 2: going to see for a week if that works for me.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Then I'm going to see if priming works for me,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and then I'm going to see meditating works. Then I'm
- 16:07Speaker 2: going to see if like pushing my body in the gym,
- 16:11Speaker 2: like whatever it is, right, You're going to explore your
- 16:14Speaker 2: version because the co creation is the feeling. If I
- 16:17Speaker 2: am feeling like a gangster that everything works out for me,
- 16:21Speaker 2: It's always happening for me, never against me. And I
- 16:25Speaker 2: know this in my body because everything in my body
- 16:27Speaker 2: is showing me that it all works out every day
- 16:30Speaker 2: because my rat system is working on overdrive to prove
- 16:34Speaker 2: to me that I am right. But I start to
- 16:37Speaker 2: believe that I am right, and then all of a sudden,
- 16:39Speaker 2: I start to meet the world like that every day.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But those little rituals and routines will feel new and different,
- 16:48Speaker 2: and then you'll start to do the ones that you
- 16:50Speaker 2: love and like. Even this is a bit different, but
- 16:54Speaker 2: like self pleasure and doing things for the sake of
- 16:57Speaker 2: just having a hobby or having sex, just creativity, you're fun,
- 17:01Speaker 2: or finding ways in which you can stretch yourself outside
- 17:05Speaker 2: of the norm which makes you feel or anchored, connected
- 17:10Speaker 2: and your best possible self, because all we want to
- 17:12Speaker 2: do is be operating from our highest self all the time,
- 17:14Speaker 2: all the time.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and ideally Yeah, I always say if you can,
- 17:18Speaker 1: if if you can do something in the morning, that's
- 17:20Speaker 1: the just set the time for the day.
- 17:22Speaker 2: If you can take like you know that've got to
- 17:24Speaker 2: take the morning. It's really and when you have kids,
- 17:27Speaker 2: it's really hard because they're their first thing in the
- 17:31Speaker 2: morning all of the time, and you'll need to structure
- 17:34Speaker 2: things around that. Because I have a lot of mums
- 17:36Speaker 2: that are like, how the fuck do I do it?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Do you know what? I say, Set the alarm for
- 17:40Speaker 2: thirty minutes before they get up, and that might be
- 17:42Speaker 2: five thirty in the morning. Yeah, but go to bed earlier.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Stop dooms like prioritize that thirty minutes. It will change
- 17:49Speaker 2: your life. It will.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I have so many people that have written into me
- 17:52Speaker 1: saying that's the one change I made mothers specifically, that's
- 17:56Speaker 1: the one change I made.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Stretch where I've got my metime, time, you journal, you
- 18:00Speaker 2: can you can move, you can do such. Thirty minutes
- 18:05Speaker 2: is a lot of time before the kids still the
- 18:07Speaker 2: time away and then you get back on track. Like
- 18:10Speaker 2: I am a better human, my tolerance, my way to respond,
- 18:14Speaker 2: everything is better when I've got that buffer and sleep,
- 18:18Speaker 2: like start to prioritize the basics.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, sleep, food, feeling good. That that's a huge,
- 18:24Speaker 1: huge difference. How do I manage the fact that my
- 18:28Speaker 1: current surroundings slash upbringing are so far from where I
- 18:33Speaker 1: want to.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Be breach ah so big, so big. The majority of
- 18:43Speaker 2: us have inherited beliefs, cultures, networks, communities. We do things
- 18:50Speaker 2: this way, you would know South American ways, Ye bog ways.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Me Like I was brought up that I wasn't allowed
- 18:59Speaker 2: to be, so that just wasn't an option for me,
- 19:03Speaker 2: you know, like the whole thing. What if I wasn't,
- 19:06Speaker 2: who would I be? Like, honestly, I'm robbed because I'm
- 19:10Speaker 2: curious about all of that. Yeah, Like I still am
- 19:12Speaker 2: as a forty year old woman that's married twelve years.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I'm curious about that, let alone being raised partially Catholic
- 19:20Speaker 2: and spirituality and tarot cards are the demon and like
- 19:23Speaker 2: all of the things right, it's really hard when you
- 19:28Speaker 2: are a human and our deepest desires to belong, our
- 19:33Speaker 2: deepest need that we shun so many parts of our
- 19:35Speaker 2: truths just to fit in. What I realized was this
- 19:41Speaker 2: isn't going to make sense for a lot of people,
- 19:43Speaker 2: just like science won't make sense for the wogs. Do
- 19:46Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Who says you know?
- 19:50Speaker 1: You've got to get to that place where you're like,
- 19:52Speaker 1: how do I shake off this?
- 19:55Speaker 2: Like it has to be okay with not being okay
- 19:58Speaker 2: for them, And that's really hard and that will take
- 20:01Speaker 2: as long as it takes for each individual. But I
- 20:06Speaker 2: created a community so we could all be weirdos together.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I love that you have a community where you can
- 20:12Speaker 2: all be widows together. That's right. You have to find
- 20:15Speaker 2: your tribe. I built the community because I was alone
- 20:18Speaker 2: out there like a weirdo, like a delulu witchipoo, and
- 20:21Speaker 2: like I needed people to keep me accountable. I needed
- 20:25Speaker 2: to people to celebrate me. I needed to celebrate them.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I needed to feel inspired, and I.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Feel like the moment you start surrounding yourself with people
- 20:32Speaker 1: who look at what you know, because here they're saying,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I feel so far from where I want to be.
- 20:37Speaker 1: If you start to surround yourself with people that are
- 20:39Speaker 1: more similar to where you do want to be, it's
- 20:42Speaker 1: so much more realistic.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Like I had this woman at an event.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Woman she was woman, yes, but she was like twenty three,
- 20:49Speaker 1: and she said to me, what do I do because
- 20:51Speaker 1: I've got all these big dreams for myself, but all
- 20:52Speaker 1: my friends are having kids and getting married.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And I said, how old are you and.
- 20:57Speaker 1: She said, I'm twenty three. I said, all your friends
- 20:59Speaker 1: twenty three? She said yeah, And I said, you need
- 21:01Speaker 1: to move to a major city. You need to surround
- 21:03Speaker 1: yourself with different people because you're you feel left behind.
- 21:06Speaker 2: You're a thetis in life.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You know, you are just at the cusp and there's
- 21:11Speaker 1: nothing wrong with what your friends are doing. But if
- 21:13Speaker 1: that's not where you want to be at this point,
- 21:15Speaker 1: but you don't have anyone else's the benchmark you are,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and they are going to think that you're behind when
- 21:22Speaker 1: it's just based on the bubble that you're in.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Change the bubble. I said, move to Sydney. We're all
- 21:27Speaker 2: in our thirties and.
- 21:28Speaker 1: No one has kids, you know what I mean, Like
- 21:30Speaker 1: as an example, you know, just just just look at
- 21:33Speaker 1: look at like put perspective can be everything.
- 21:36Speaker 2: And I also think that you know what's that statistic?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Like you are the version of the seven people. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:45Speaker 2: that's right. I never want to be the smartest person
- 21:47Speaker 2: in the room. I know. I never want to be
- 21:50Speaker 2: like And that's what I found. Remember we're talking about
- 21:52Speaker 2: those friends that I was this kind of almost guru.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I was this ah person, that therapist that I had
- 21:59Speaker 2: to release. It's that part of me feeling valuable in
- 22:02Speaker 2: that way. Yea. And so now the people in which
- 22:05Speaker 2: I'm surrounded by, and they're all different types of incredible,
- 22:10Speaker 2: they make me great. I'm stretched because of them. And
- 22:15Speaker 2: if I was in circles that kept me small, which
- 22:20Speaker 2: I was for so long, I don't get to live
- 22:22Speaker 2: this life if I can't be shiny, or if I
- 22:25Speaker 2: can't be too big, because whatever's happening for you, then
- 22:28Speaker 2: I have now cuck holded myself and my life. And
- 22:32Speaker 2: you have to kind of not kind of you have
- 22:35Speaker 2: to be okay with sacrificing those parts. Yeah, big.
- 22:39Speaker 1: So basically start looking at how you can change your
- 22:41Speaker 1: environment around you so it feels more.
- 22:44Speaker 2: And we have them everywhere like you can. Honestly, you
- 22:46Speaker 2: can go to a sound bath healing on a Sunday,
- 22:49Speaker 2: strike up a comp they're all going to be weird
- 22:50Speaker 2: spureau who was in there? Or you could go to
- 22:54Speaker 2: whatever it is entrepreneur talking space and meat, you know,
- 22:58Speaker 2: like everyone who's starting a business, like they are everywhere,
- 23:01Speaker 2: And I think you need to just people that come
- 23:04Speaker 2: to our workshops or our events or retreats come alone.
- 23:07Speaker 2: They leave with a community, but they come alone. And
- 23:10Speaker 2: that's what you have to do. You have to put
- 23:12Speaker 2: yourself out there in a completely new environment. It's weird, yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 2: and scary, but I think that's what.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, when you feel like you're like an outsider
- 23:22Speaker 1: in your own current life because you know exactly when
- 23:24Speaker 1: you want it, you're not belonging anyway, Yeah exactly, So
- 23:26Speaker 1: it's not working for you, a trail to yourself, that's right.
- 23:30Speaker 2: How hard that is when you really want something and
- 23:33Speaker 2: you think you know what's best for you and you
- 23:36Speaker 2: do not ever know what's best for you? Right if
- 23:41Speaker 2: that doesn't happen and you're like, what do I do
- 23:44Speaker 2: when I'm in this space? Trust? Oh god, it's so hard,
- 23:48Speaker 2: but you have to trust that well, it will find you.
- 23:53Speaker 1: So I guess it is it's like you do want
- 23:55Speaker 1: to take that action, but you also have to know
- 23:57Speaker 1: it's like I've done what I can do, and if you're.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Desperate, that's repellent. So you have to surrender. You have
- 24:04Speaker 2: to get to the bit where you know you've done
- 24:06Speaker 2: the stuff and then you let it go. It doesn't
- 24:07Speaker 2: mean you can't walk around every day priming for that
- 24:09Speaker 2: thing still, but that like I want to, I want to,
- 24:12Speaker 2: I want a petulant child will kill any cocreation because sometimes.
- 24:17Speaker 1: You end up accidentally focusing on the fact that like
- 24:19Speaker 1: I still don't have it, I still don't don't.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Know, and that's your feeling, your feeling of lack. You're
- 24:24Speaker 2: in the not having this, so you will be presented
- 24:27Speaker 2: with not having this, and that's hard. Like, that's why
- 24:31Speaker 2: this is a it's like a muscle. Yeah, So I
- 24:33Speaker 2: would say surrender, trust and be back in the feeling.
- 24:36Speaker 2: That's why the gratitude is always your best friend, because
- 24:39Speaker 2: even if you desperately want something, even the thing that
- 24:41Speaker 2: you've currently got is going to be incredible, is going
- 24:44Speaker 2: to make you feel so good.
- 24:46Speaker 1: And it takes you out of that lack and it
- 24:48Speaker 1: takes you out of Also it helps you come to
- 24:51Speaker 1: terms with if this thing didn't happen. It's not that
- 24:54Speaker 1: nothing's going to happen for me, but it's probably gonna
- 24:56Speaker 1: be something else.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Yes, it's not that it's just gonna be avoid got
- 24:59Speaker 2: to be opened for the divine redirect. You can't just
- 25:03Speaker 2: negate that the dream man comes. But because he's not
- 25:06Speaker 2: a wog and he's got red hair, you're not going
- 25:09Speaker 2: to go on the date like you can't end your
- 25:13Speaker 2: opportunity because what could you miss out on? It's that
- 25:16Speaker 2: divine redirect of Okay, it doesn't look like that job
- 25:20Speaker 2: I wanted as a photographer. It's actually a videographer. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 25:23Speaker 2: that's right, that's right. I'm going to be open. I'm
- 25:26Speaker 2: going to have an experience because it's being presented versus like.
- 25:31Speaker 2: But then there is a caveat there are tests, and
- 25:34Speaker 2: the test comes when you're like, okay, the redhead guys
- 25:38Speaker 2: here really like what okay, I'm going to really in
- 25:42Speaker 2: my body? Is this a few response or is this.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Actually am I settling because my age and whatever and
- 25:50Speaker 1: I need to quickly find this person's good enough on paper?
- 25:53Speaker 1: Or am I actually feeling a connection here but I'm
- 25:56Speaker 1: denying it because it.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Doesn't look like this. It doesn't look like and so
- 25:59Speaker 2: we we call it a full body fuck yes or
- 26:01Speaker 2: a full body fuck no. And that's always going to
- 26:04Speaker 2: determine where you go when this divine redirection comes in
- 26:08Speaker 2: and you're so stuck and so desperate on it being
- 26:10Speaker 2: the woggie guy not the redhead, right, you lose, Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 2: and then you're gonna have to do this whole process again.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It could take three years. Yeah, that's right, So go
- 26:22Speaker 2: and have that like. That's why stillness is really important
- 26:25Speaker 2: in this and not having these kind of dopamine it's
- 26:29Speaker 2: distract because when you're sinking into like, all right, this
- 26:33Speaker 2: job is the people are amazing, it is amazing. But
- 26:36Speaker 2: I actually really wanted this title and it's not that title.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I feel so good. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna do it.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Do you know that thing? It's like taking the ego
- 26:46Speaker 2: out and being embodied, right, that's how we start to navigate,
- 26:50Speaker 2: and your whole life will change because you're not in
- 26:52Speaker 2: your head. I'm using your head for you, not against you,
- 26:57Speaker 2: not against you.
- 26:59Speaker 1: So this is a really good question because I'm going
- 27:02Speaker 1: to add to the question.
- 27:04Speaker 2: That's why it's so good. Well, no, it's a great question.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Can we manifest physical things such as money or would
- 27:11Speaker 1: it have to be manifesting energy? We we're talking about,
- 27:14Speaker 1: you know, the feeling, and feeling does is an energy.
- 27:18Speaker 1: But at the same time, what I love about this
- 27:20Speaker 1: question is, but I know that I want to be
- 27:23Speaker 1: living an X amount of money X amount.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Of dollar a year lifestyle. Or if I.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Wanted to be able to travel to Europe and do
- 27:30Speaker 1: this and do this and blah blah blahah and live here,
- 27:33Speaker 1: I know that I would be wanting to earn this
- 27:35Speaker 1: much money.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Can we do that? You know? Can you? Can? You
- 27:38Speaker 2: think that's the amount? I just think, ever being stuck
- 27:44Speaker 2: on an amount, what if there was something so much
- 27:46Speaker 2: greater that wanted to come, but you're capping it with
- 27:48Speaker 2: your amount, even if your amounts three million dollars? Right.
- 27:52Speaker 2: The other part of that is sometimes we think things
- 27:56Speaker 2: in financial or physical gain and that's really fun. Like
- 27:59Speaker 2: I drive the that I used to pretend to drive
- 28:02Speaker 2: that's fun. But also when I get in that car now,
- 28:04Speaker 2: it doesn't mean anything to me anymore because my identity
- 28:08Speaker 2: and my value isn't about my car. Does that make sense?
- 28:12Speaker 2: My value supersedes the car. I could be in any
- 28:16Speaker 2: car because I know great I am. The thing is
- 28:19Speaker 2: when you're thinking about financially those things. So I bought this,
- 28:26Speaker 2: I bought that's so funny. My husband and I bought
- 28:29Speaker 2: this dream home. Right, huge, nine hundred square meters, cinema, gym,
- 28:34Speaker 2: six bedrooms up top, five bathrooms, two living It was huge.
- 28:39Speaker 2: I renovated it all dream dream, dream dream. Then we
- 28:44Speaker 2: were like, oh my god, this is such a big count.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Our kids are too scared to go to the toilet
- 28:49Speaker 2: without us because you're so big. I can't find anyone
- 28:53Speaker 2: I have to walk through. My bedroom was the size
- 28:56Speaker 2: of this plus a loungey. I was scared too big, Right,
- 29:01Speaker 2: And we think we want all of the things, and
- 29:03Speaker 2: we think we want three million dollars, and we think
- 29:05Speaker 2: we want this house, and then you go, hang on,
- 29:08Speaker 2: how much tax do I pay? Yeah? And how much?
- 29:11Speaker 2: Like no one's actually doing the opposite side of the
- 29:15Speaker 2: due diligence. What does it take to live in a
- 29:17Speaker 2: really big house. How many times do I have to
- 29:19Speaker 2: clean that house? How much furniture do you need to
- 29:21Speaker 2: buy for a house, like all of that stuff, right
- 29:24Speaker 2: we now have moved that house didn't work. Yeah, And
- 29:27Speaker 2: you don't know what you've got until you've got it,
- 29:30Speaker 2: which is such a like trickery in society. Get the car,
- 29:34Speaker 2: get the man, get the house, get the money. And
- 29:36Speaker 2: then you're like, I have to pay so much tax. Yeah,
- 29:39Speaker 2: now I'm here, and I'm actually quite stressed, Like can
- 29:42Speaker 2: I go to Europe every year? Because to get there
- 29:44Speaker 2: I have to work this much? And too do you
- 29:46Speaker 2: know what I'm saying versus like I want the feeling
- 29:50Speaker 2: of being on the French Riviera. I don't know how
- 29:54Speaker 2: much that's gonna cost. I'm just gonna get there, yeah,
- 29:57Speaker 2: right right, opportunities things will happen. My cousin has his
- 30:01Speaker 2: place in the French Riviera, joining it like it is
- 30:05Speaker 2: feeling weird, and that's where the doolulu comes in. I
- 30:08Speaker 2: think you can always talk about I would take the
- 30:10Speaker 2: financial price off and I would just feel into abundance.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Being abundant and feeling abundance is the funnest yep.
- 30:18Speaker 1: So instead of getting specific on a dollar amount you
- 30:21Speaker 1: want to think of.
- 30:22Speaker 2: I think it can cap you how I can experience things.
- 30:25Speaker 2: I need this rent, this much for food, this utilities,
- 30:29Speaker 2: this for the holidays, this for my fabulous clothes. I
- 30:31Speaker 2: do feel like it stunts us right, We're just feeling
- 30:35Speaker 2: true abundance, and I like, I can't believe my life
- 30:42Speaker 2: and the gratitude and that feeling every day of like
- 30:45Speaker 2: this is my home, this is my room, this is
- 30:48Speaker 2: my husband. Oh my god, I love him like and
- 30:50Speaker 2: I'll just call him and I'm like, yes, being in
- 30:55Speaker 2: love with my life makes more love in my life.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Does that exactly? Yet? More stunts in more? Yeah, But
- 31:01Speaker 2: it doesn't even need to be physical things. I might
- 31:04Speaker 2: just feel more connected with my friendship group. I might
- 31:08Speaker 2: feel like I have moments where I just want to
- 31:10Speaker 2: be a deep service to a friend and be like
- 31:13Speaker 2: da da da da da, I'm turning up for you
- 31:14Speaker 2: in this way or whatever that makes me feel good.
- 31:17Speaker 2: And it's kind of the more you give, the more
- 31:18Speaker 2: you get. Like the times when I'm so expressive with
- 31:21Speaker 2: how much I adore Tyrone and I'm so affectionate, I'm
- 31:24Speaker 2: so it just gets better and better and better, and
- 31:27Speaker 2: he's just a man. He's so receptive and then he
- 31:30Speaker 2: and it's kind of like, there's no limit to this.
- 31:31Speaker 1: But if I get up on the wrong side of
- 31:33Speaker 1: the bed and I'm a bit short with him for
- 31:34Speaker 1: no real reason, then he's probably going to be more reserved.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Then we go our separate ways, and then I think, oh,
- 31:39Speaker 2: maybe I haven't ah, but then he ha. You know
- 31:40Speaker 2: what I mean. It's nice, but it does. But you know,
- 31:44Speaker 2: it's a neuroscientist that preprogramming. Immediately. If you've woken up,
- 31:50Speaker 2: bumpedure toe, of course, dogs vomited on the rug, all
- 31:54Speaker 2: these things, you have to take hold of your mind
- 31:58Speaker 2: and get back exactly, have to reset. It's so easy
- 32:01Speaker 2: to spiral. Thank god you bumped your toe because you
- 32:04Speaker 2: have all of this. You know, you've got a first
- 32:06Speaker 2: aid kid. How lucky are you? Yeah? Your dog vomited
- 32:09Speaker 2: house smart is his immune system to purge.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Like if you can shift, ye, if you can just
- 32:14Speaker 1: pause and think, okay.
- 32:15Speaker 2: And like this has already happened. I'm going to be late.
- 32:18Speaker 2: People understand all of these things, like take control back.
- 32:24Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. He gets it, He does get it. Yeah, Yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 2: I love that.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I love that I could honestly, we could talk forever,
- 32:33Speaker 1: so we'll probably have to do it like a part nine,
- 32:36Speaker 1: ten eleven of this. But thank you, honestly, thank you
- 32:39Speaker 1: so much. I can't wait to finish the book because
- 32:41Speaker 1: I'm loving it like I was, just like inhaling the book.
- 32:45Speaker 2: So I'm so great, fun to be here. Thank you
- 32:46Speaker 2: so like this is coming. This is the best part
- 32:50Speaker 2: of my day. I love that.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Thank you and yeah, same same, same here. I love
- 32:54Speaker 1: having and I love conversations more than just this is connection.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my biggest drive in life. And if I
- 33:01Speaker 2: this fills me up to connect with you and.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And the audience and then Habib who's come and sat.
