- 0:00When I feel like I'm putting so much pressure on an episode, it's because in a way,
- 0:04I'm equating myself with that episode. I'm saying, if this isn't a good episode,
- 0:08then I am unworthy. But I cannot be reduced to a podcast episode.
- 0:12There are reasons why you are irreducible. Let's get into it. Please internalize that, my love.
- 0:19You are not the stage that you are in. The chapter of the book is not the book itself.
- 0:24We sometimes overly are made to identify with the exact period of our life that we're in now,
- 0:29and just inviting yourself to zoom out and see the whole of it and see, wow,
- 0:33like think of all the things I've experienced and I've lived and think of all the ways I've grown
- 0:38and all the things that I still want to learn. When you are feeling even the difficult things,
- 0:43how can you invite yourself to ask, how is this a manifestation of love?
- 0:47If I'm feeling fear, what am I loving? What do I want to love? That I feel I can't love properly.
- 0:53If I'm feeling hurt and betrayal, how is that love? How is love speaking through me?
- 0:58And do I understand the different languages that love speaks? Beyond the physical dimension,
- 1:03your energy, your magic is so felt in the universe and in other people on earth in ways that you
- 1:09cannot even comprehend. Hello sunshine and welcome back to paradigm shift with I understood.
- 1:15A place where we reframe what is and reimagine what could be. I hope you enjoy today's episode.
- 1:21Let's paradigm shift together. Hello divine being who is magical, who is love,
- 1:28who is a manifestation of love on this planet and how wonderful and glorious is that.
- 1:36Today I'm so grateful to be with you once more. I always feel very nervous, very fearful,
- 1:43very anxious before I bring you these episodes and it's not only immediately before,
- 1:49but it's actually the build up knowing that I need to or I want to produce an episode each week.
- 1:55That's what I want to do. I'm not saying that's what everyone needs to do. I feel there's a lot
- 2:00of suspense that hangs on that because I'm like, ooh, like what is the next one going to be?
- 2:04Will I be able to give what I want to give to it? Will I be able to express the love that I feel
- 2:09through it? Uncertainty can be overwhelming and I think our brains are wired to avoid uncertainty
- 2:16and that is why creativity can be so daunting because it's kind of an ultimate surrender.
- 2:21You don't know what's going to come up. You don't know how you're going to show up and so there is
- 2:27both the fear and the uncertainty and the anxiety of that, but at the same time what does the
- 2:32universe give you? In turn, it's the mystery, it's the divinity, it's the alignment, it's the feeling
- 2:38that you are devoting yourself to something. That is something that I think is really profound
- 2:44devotion, taking us from discipline to something more loving, something that is more about
- 2:52devoting yourself to your audience, to your craft, to yourself, and to that part of you that
- 2:58secretly knows that if I don't devote myself in this way, I will look back and regret it.
- 3:03I will say why didn't I why wasn't I brave with my voice and that's how I feel.
- 3:07Often when I am feeling these feelings of fear or anxiety, I try to shift myself into okay,
- 3:12what if I get throat cancer and I cut one day in my life, I won't be able to speak and I believe
- 3:17my voice is my instrument, my voice is how I connect, my voice is how I manifest my magic through
- 3:23my, those sounds I'm making with my mouth and hopefully use that to uplift and to bring more
- 3:29consciousness and love and healing and also insight and all of the things and connection and feeling
- 3:36to you, to people who I feel like are vibrating on the same frequency as me.
- 3:41I feel like we are seeking in our teachers a consciousness that speaks to our own and we are
- 3:47all each other's students and teachers and so I feel like there's this part of me that speaks
- 3:51to something in you and in others and I want to honor that part and I want to give voice to it but
- 3:56then I remember I'm doing that through the like an actual body that is always and already fragile
- 4:02and I think about the fact that maybe one day I'll lose my voice so I won't be able to speak
- 4:07through my voice that's a very direct example but I try to bring in these alternative possibilities
- 4:13to remind myself that it's not I have to do this episode I have to create this podcast it's I get to
- 4:20how grateful and how lucky I am to be able to do that and to allow myself the freedom and the love
- 4:28to say like you don't have to show up perfectly you don't have to never miss a point or a beat or
- 4:34bring in every single perspective that's ever existed or show up perfectly because I'm always
- 4:39going to show up as a human being which is imperfect which is flawed I have a limited perspective
- 4:46there are things that I don't see or don't know but I'm hoping that I'm always aligned in my intention
- 4:51why am I creating this why do I feel that this is something that needs to be said you know and that
- 4:57intention to me then becomes the bridge the glue or the the actually the mirror between us
- 5:04that we are each other's person you know I'm your other you you are my other me not in an exclusive
- 5:08way in a poly-art relationship since I know you lean on many different voices but certainly we
- 5:14are in a relationship in the sense that there are moments of your life where you will reach for
- 5:18my voice I know this because I do this with people that I follow that I admire I'm like oh I
- 5:23want to feel inspired let me go here ooh I want to feel uplifted let me go here ooh I want to
- 5:28sit in my grief let me go here ooh I want to get inside I want to feel like okay I know a book
- 5:33to read I know where to go next there is something I can do I'm going to go here so I'm reaching
- 5:38full voices and the fact that that person has made their voice available to me what a gift
- 5:43knowing that they carry the fear knowing that they carry the anxiety knowing that they carry
- 5:48within them the fears that our culture has instilled on people who have things to say that
- 5:53go against that culture the fear of persecution the fear of violence the fear of disagreement the
- 5:58fear of criticism the fear of disapproval I mean it's okay to disagree but the idea that you
- 6:03will be rejected the idea that you will be canceled removed drag some I know that each of these
- 6:10voices carries that fear yet they're still offering themselves to me and I think that's so divine
- 6:14and I see myself as part of that circularity of life part of that idea that we are all feeding
- 6:20each other soil from that soil things can grow I love when people say this episode made me have a
- 6:25conversation with my mom this episode made me journal or this episode invited me or inspired me to
- 6:32have a conversation with my mom about something I've been avoiding this episode inspired me to
- 6:37love myself more this episode inspired me to journal just the idea that I'm planting a seed
- 6:42within your soul and you are doing the same in mind because when you feed that back to me or when
- 6:47I feel the energy from you I feel like okay I can keep going I have the energy I have the nutrients
- 6:53this matters to people so I'm continuing to proceed to keep going and so I'm just grateful to be
- 6:58in this ecosystem with you creating life feeding life recognizing what is giving us a
- 7:03liveness and what is taking it away and so this week I had a lot of resistance I think I've
- 7:08noticed something within myself when if I say what the next episode is going to be about I kind
- 7:14of fear that I won't be able to do justice to what I said it would be so there's a lot of
- 7:18things I've said I was going to do another episode on the erotic I've said I was going to do an
- 7:22episode on envy I said I was going to do an episode on being sensitive part two I said I was going
- 7:28to and I'm not saying that I said that and I broke the promise I think all these promises are
- 7:31yet to be fulfilled and I'm excited for that because this is a lifelong I mean I can't say what
- 7:37my lifelong project will be but this feels like something that doesn't have an end point I have
- 7:41so many ideas that I want to give to you so many gifts that I want to bring to you like trying
- 7:46to bring water to the ocean I feel like I'm living my life and I'm trying to collect these flowers
- 7:50and arrange a bouquet of consciousness and wisdom and insight and lessons and offer them to you
- 7:57and it's literally an offering that you can decide whether or not you vibe with and if you'd
- 8:02vibe with it you can put it in a vase and put some water in it and tend to it and protect that
- 8:08energy for as long as it serves you and all flowers they wilt and that's the circle of life
- 8:12they wilt and die and that's divine and precious so I've noticed basically when I announce
- 8:17what the episode is I get a lot of fear and resistance I fear I won't be able to do it justice
- 8:21there's something sacred to me about creativity where I actually love keeping my ideas a secret
- 8:25until they're out in the world because it shifts the energy I don't know if any of you have
- 8:30experienced this way you get really excited to do something and then in your excitement you tell
- 8:34someone you're gonna do it but then because you've told them it almost shifts the energy for you
- 8:38and it makes you feel accountable to doing it for them so that you can see them again and they'll
- 8:43you'll have like an update versus purely being accountable to the connection that you had with
- 8:48that work and I know what all different some people love just sharing I'm gonna do this and I'm
- 8:52gonna do this and I'm feeling so inspired I've noticed within myself I'm more likely to actually
- 8:57bring my manifestations creatively to life when I kind of keep them to myself until they're
- 9:04out there and then talk about them once they're done and what I learned from a neuroscience
- 9:08perspective is this actually tracks to the idea of the dopamine release that idea that when you
- 9:13talk about your ideas you get some of the reward of actually having done them like your brain is
- 9:18imagining doing them and so you less you are less motivated or you have less energy to then go
- 9:24and actually do the thing and I will link to an episode in the show notes that will teach you
- 9:28more about that but today I am gonna honor what I said I would do and I I'm gonna bring you seven
- 9:34more reasons why you are divine and you are irreducible and you are infinite and you have been
- 9:41forced to conceive of yourself in a very finite a very reducible a very reductive way and I think
- 9:48similarly when I feel like I'm putting so much pressure on an episode it's because in a way I'm
- 9:53equating myself with that episode I'm saying if this is if I miss something in this episode or
- 9:58this isn't a good episode then I am unworthy but I cannot be reduced to a podcast episode you know
- 10:04what I mean I'm so much bigger than that and I'm so much more multifaceted than that I'm so much
- 10:10more mysterious than that like I'm am I even you know what I mean I've been diving deeper into the
- 10:16Buddhist idea of anata which is the idea of no self and I'm really fascinated by it and I
- 10:22am just at the kind of tip of the iceberg so I want to learn more before I fully bring it but
- 10:27what's exciting me is it's the idea that you don't have this kind of consistent identity self
- 10:34that you are made to identify with instead you are fluctuating thoughts and feelings and
- 10:39experiences that cannot actually be watered down into oneself and when you do try to over-identify
- 10:44with this single story of being a person I'm not saying you don't exist but the identity self the
- 10:50ego self that that can cause a lot of suffering because it's like the reason why I would be offended
- 10:56that people didn't like the episode is I hold the identity of like I create loving episodes and
- 11:01if someone says oh no I felt I didn't feel loved by this then it's like it's an offense onto my
- 11:06identity rather than a thought a feeling that that person had in response to thoughts and feelings
- 11:11that I shared that on a commentary of my being self because I'm infinite because I'm divine because
- 11:16I'm part of the literal universe and I could never you know none of us could never ever be reduced
- 11:21to anyone given part of ourselves so with that let us get into these seven reasons and as I said
- 11:26on the last episode I wanted to bring Chachi BT into this because I wanted to ensure that I was
- 11:32collecting as many possible factors and really having a more numerical episode where it's like one two
- 11:38three four uh my baby don't mess around so that's what I wanted to do with this one um and yeah so
- 11:46that's what we're doing on this episode is seven reasons why you are irreducible let's get into it
- 11:52number one and of course she's my favorite like she's my favorite I do have a favorite and it's
- 11:57this one and I'm excited to share it with you so number one is your cosmic identity so cosmic meaning
- 12:07related to the universe so with that knowing now what we mean when we're saying cosmic because it's
- 12:14a word that's going to be used a lot just remember it means relating to the universe so you have a
- 12:18cosmic identity you don't just have the identity of whatever role you are playing in the matrix
- 12:24of the society or even the roles you play relationally those are all very part of you if you embrace
- 12:29them and important and you are multifaceted and you get to take on as many identities as you wish
- 12:35but you also have a greater identity or a grand identity that's less tangible that is that you
- 12:42play a role in the cosmic story so what this says is that on a cosmic scale we are not just
- 12:48inhabitants of the universe we are the universe experiencing itself
- 12:55and I think those five words or six words are so powerful and special and inviting we are the
- 13:09universe experiencing itself what does that mean when you are pondering the stars
- 13:16when you can hear the birds are chirping I'm thinking oh the birds are chirping that's a lovely
- 13:21sound how beautiful to feel connected to nature oh I can see some trees are bristling around me
- 13:28oh I wonder what are black holes what is the nature of the universe do we live in an infinite
- 13:34universe in which case they are definitely and certainly other planets where life can exist
- 13:39because it would be infinite you know those types of questions and that pondering those thoughts
- 13:46those feelings whether you experiencing them negatively or positively or neutrally you are
- 13:51part of the universe and then you are experiencing the universe so we are the universe experiencing
- 13:56itself this doesn't mean every thought I have about the universe is the experience of the universe
- 14:03but think about experience experience is very subjective I heard a definition about listening
- 14:10that I really enjoyed in a book called you're not listening and what she says is that when you feel
- 14:16listen to being listened to is the experience of being experienced so you're allowing this person
- 14:27to affect you you're experiencing them and then you're playing that experiencing of them back to
- 14:32them and I'm gonna do oh let me not tell you I almost made the same mistake oh my word I'm not
- 14:39gonna do anything so essentially if we are the universe experiencing itself that experience is
- 14:44subjective I may view myself as very warm and loving and then you meet me and you experience me
- 14:50completely differently from that right because you're having an experience and I also have an
- 14:55experience of myself it's all very subjective so we are human consciousness and not only human
- 15:00because I believe that each sentient being has consciousness fit for their role in the universe
- 15:05fit for their role on earth human consciousness in a way developed so that there could be the
- 15:11self-referential trait of the universe and that's what this is saying I'm not saying that's a
- 15:15definitely true but I think that's a really interesting take on it and I asked for more information
- 15:21on this idea because I found it so interesting and this is what chapter GT said if we see the universe
- 15:28as a vast evolving entity then human consciousness can be viewed as one way the universe has
- 15:36developed to become aware of itself so it's one pathway because otherwise how would the universe
- 15:45understand itself how would it contemplate itself without the mechanism of consciousness
- 15:52so it says when we study the stars when we ponder the mysteries of black holes or marvel at the
- 15:59complexity of life it's the universe exploring and understanding its own nature through us that
- 16:08blows my mind and that's something that I hadn't that's a perspective on the universe that I hadn't
- 16:13understood before or seen before because I feel like I have been so conditioned to view myself as
- 16:21I am subject of my own lived experience and universe is object I am considering the trees I'm
- 16:28considering history I'm considering what happened yesterday but what this is saying is it's
- 16:34non dual it's a non duality meaning there's no subject and object we are both we are both and
- 16:41neither we are interconnected being so what non duality as a school of understanding is non dualism
- 16:50it's a number of philosophical and spiritual traditions that emphasize the absence of
- 16:56fundamental duality or separation in existence this viewpoint questions the boundaries
- 17:03conventionally imposed between self and other mind and body observer and observed and other
- 17:13dichotomies that shape our perception of reality as a field of study non dualism delves into the
- 17:23concept of non duality and the state of non dual awareness encompassing a diverse array of
- 17:29interpretations across traditions not limited to a particular cultural or religious context instead
- 17:37non dualism emerges as essential teaching across various traditions inviting individuals to
- 17:43examine reality beyond the confines of dualistic thinking I think that's so wonderful and profound
- 17:51and beautiful and then what it says on non dual awareness it says it's the non difference of
- 17:57subject and object or it's non duality between subject and object so I can't look at you as object
- 18:04right because non dual awareness is the notion that the observer and the quote unquote things
- 18:11observed cannot be strictly separated but form in the final analysis a whole so it's like one
- 18:19cell saying to the other you are it's we're all part of a whole we are not subject and object
- 18:26we can't strictly separate ourselves from what we perceive it's a beautiful idea and it
- 18:34is a string through so many different traditions like Buddhism Hinduism Taoism I think this is a big
- 18:42difference it's saying between Eastern philosophy and Western philosophy okay so that was a little
- 18:47bit of a deep-pouchure but it's the same it's the same point right it's saying that we have a
- 18:52non dual relationship with the universe we are interconnected with the cosmos all things in the
- 18:57universe are interconnected so our existence isn't isolated or separate rather it's an integral part
- 19:04of the universe's continuous process of evolution and change we are observers we do observe but we
- 19:11also participate and we don't observe with us as much objectivity as we would imagine because of
- 19:16non dualism in this world view and we participate in this cosmic dance contributing to the ongoing
- 19:24story of the universe and this cosmic connection it says speaks to a unity and a shared destiny
- 19:31with the cosmos making us far more than just physical beings we are instead a living breathing
- 19:40part of the cosmic story ever expanding and evolving making us as boundless and infinite as the
- 19:47universe itself the second reason why you are irreducible is related to this it is your inherent
- 19:54divinity at our core each individual possesses a spark of divinity an unquantifiable essence that
- 20:03transcends the physical and material world think of a feeling where maybe you someone in your life
- 20:09has died and then you feel their energy or you think of what they've told you and you feel like
- 20:16okay this person didn't just die in this physical body this person transcends their physical reality
- 20:22and physical dimension I could see this spirit of this person in bite somewhere else and I know
- 20:27not everyone listening to this believes in these things or sees these things it's an offering
- 20:32that you of course can choose to reject this divine aspect of our being often associated with the
- 20:39soul or the spirit is beyond reduction your energy transcends any sort of physical manifestation
- 20:48of that energy it says that this divine dimension or aspect it's like a flame within each of us
- 20:54that cannot be diminished or confined and it represents our eternal ineffable nature that connects
- 21:02to something greater than ourselves manifesting in our capacity for love for compassion for creativity
- 21:11and for transcendence so that's how this divine nature manifests is how is it that we can make
- 21:17things that weren't there before that's magic how is it that we can love someone so deeply that
- 21:24they feel healed not fully but they feel more healed and they were before we met them how is it
- 21:29that we can love someone so much that we feel like time is standing still when we're with them
- 21:36and at the same time losing all track of time that's mystery love has that mysterious dimension to
- 21:43it this divine spark makes us inherently valuable and inherently worthy and inherently irreplaceable
- 21:52standing as a testament to our uniqueness and sanctity as human beings now I know a lot of you
- 21:58may be thinking okay well if we all have this inherent divinity why do people act in such brutal
- 22:06ways towards each other and I think supremacy is the root of all almost trauma on earth in my mind
- 22:20supremacy exists on all scales between one between white people and black people
- 22:26between white people and indigenous people supremacy between nation state and its people
- 22:32supremacy between the colonized and the colonized supremacy between cisgender people and trans people
- 22:37so all of these things so then becomes a question is why would divine beings act in supremacist ways
- 22:46and I think perhaps when we act in supremacist ways that is when we are rejecting the divinity of
- 22:56ourselves because you can't you know if you're enacting mass violence on people you're not being divine
- 23:01and you are rejecting the divinity of the people first and foremost that you are abusing torturing
- 23:09manipulating um stealing from and you've chosen you've decided that something else is higher than
- 23:16their divinity the land that they have them as people to be exploited them as bodies you reduce them
- 23:24you've reduced them you've said you're not divine and that is why dehumanization is a core part
- 23:30of this process because there's something we can recognize as deserving of good treatment in the
- 23:38idea of the human so what do they have to do they have to reduce you to the subhuman to justify
- 23:44and to get people's implicit consent for that harm okay that's an undeveloped thought but there's
- 23:51something there I hope you pick up what I'm throwing I hope you make it more beautiful okay wonderful
- 23:55pressures nice so the other reasons why you are divine why you are irreducible is your interconnectedness
- 24:06with others so our lives are a web of relationships and interactions chachi bt says with others
- 24:13each adding a thread to the intricate tapestry of our experience this interconnectedness enriches us
- 24:20and makes us part of a larger human story transcending individuality and rendering us irreducible
- 24:27to solitary entities so I think that's very beautiful because the reason we're irreduciables
- 24:34because we're not just individual beings we are interconnected being again the non dualism thing
- 24:42self versus other versus interconnected usness you know like I am your other you you are my other me
- 24:48we form each other in a way and it's sometimes very difficult to see where the boundaries between one
- 24:53ends and the other begins that is why we most of our thoughts are about other people what they did to
- 24:59us what we did to them what they'll think what they did think how embarrassing it was to act a
- 25:04certain way in front of them like we're obsessed with each other we're obsessed why because we are
- 25:09each other we are interconnected being we are interdependent we need each other and we also in
- 25:15many ways are each other and it's so sad that we get so shocked when other humans have the same
- 25:20experiences us and I see this on TikTok all the time in it makes me and I experience it as well
- 25:24all the time where am I on my word I never knew other people did that I never knew other people
- 25:29thought that and then it tells me okay so we're having the wrong kinds of there's not enough space
- 25:34like third spaces which is a space that is neither work nor home nor school if you're in school
- 25:40and it's a third place that you can all go to that's purely about communing it's purely about being
- 25:46in community and in this third space you your goal is to be in community with others to connect to
- 25:52love to learn from each other to experience each other and to really have community we don't have
- 25:57those spaces and so with that I think we are very alienated from each other that's not I think we
- 26:04are and with that we then get very shocked that we're very similar to one another and I think that's
- 26:09a deep symptom of our alienation it should not surprise us and it does I continue to be surprised
- 26:15but why it's because like oh wow oh wow I've never had the space to really sit with this with people
- 26:20and so it's shocking to me that they also feel this way and yet I dream of a world where it's not
- 26:25shocking because we know each other and not just the convenient parts that we're willing to post on
- 26:30you know Instagram we know each other's inner worlds because there's nothing more divine and special
- 26:35than feeling truly seen and then truly seeing versus than seeing the illusion that our culture
- 26:41has taught us to over-identified with in each other and in ourselves okay so that is reason number
- 26:46three reason number four is our multifaceted nature so we can't be reduced because we are
- 26:52complex beings with a myriad of emotions thoughts experiences you know talents gifts and desires
- 27:00needs so how can you reduce such a complex and interwoven being to the role they play in the matrix
- 27:09or to what they like doing or to their sexuality or to you can't reduce anyone to anyone given
- 27:15part of their being because we are so much more complex than that because we are so much more
- 27:19intricate and multi-dimensional and often we don't have space to truly explore our deepest passions
- 27:25because of capitalism because of all the constraints because of mental health because of everything
- 27:29but essentially we're multi-dimensional beings often forced to live a one-dimensional reality
- 27:35where we cannot actually bring our full selves to any given part of our lives that's how it often
- 27:39feels okay number five is our capacity for growth and change so how can you reduce yourself to
- 27:47where you are now in life and even then where you are now according to where society has told you
- 27:53should be what you should be doing oh I just turned this age so I should be doing that it's such a
- 27:58misunderstanding of the depth and the profundity the profoundness the magic of the human experience
- 28:03or what it could be in a different kind of world and if that same person is always growing and
- 28:08changing and learning and evolving then they're constantly becoming something else our interest now
- 28:15versus a year ago three months ago what we feel called towards what we feel curious about what's
- 28:20turning us on what's giving us erotic energy and life force what's turning us off you know what is
- 28:26inviting us in and what are we saying yes to and then what are we having to say yes to because
- 28:32of constraints and responsibilities and where we are what are we learning how are we moving through
- 28:37the world it's all growing and changing and so how can you say oh but you're that one thing now
- 28:43you are many more things because you're existing on all these timescales it's not only that you're
- 28:47getting better and better it's that you're spiraling through life and there's no better and there's
- 28:52no worse there's lessons your younger self knew that you need to relearn there's lessons you
- 28:56hope to learn there's all of this just magical evolution happening that cannot be pressured or
- 29:03forced into this linear idea of progress that is so capitalist colonial okay so it says that
- 29:12like a tree we add rings with each passing year symbolizing our depth and our capacity for change
- 29:19making us impossible to reduce to any single stage of our lives please internalize that my love
- 29:26you are not the stage that you are in the chapter of the book is not the book itself the
- 29:32ebb and a flow like we sometimes overly are made to identify with the exact period of our life
- 29:38that we're in now and just inviting yourself to zoom out and see the whole of it and see wow like
- 29:44think of all the things I've experienced and I've lived and think of all the ways I've grown and
- 29:48all the things that I still want to learn and that can bring me back to the like wow I'm infinite
- 29:53I'm irreducible bringing us into that consciousness of like what am I not seeing that is also part of me
- 30:00what am I not perceiving that can make this a more magical experience of myself what is
- 30:07if we see things as a mirror through a lens what is a more loving lens that I could bring
- 30:13okay that relates to reason number six the second last reason which is our unique life experiences
- 30:21so the reason you are irreducible is that if you take all the set of experiences you've had
- 30:27and you put them in the order you've had them and the places you've had them and how and where and
- 30:31who was involved you do have very unique life experiences again it's the paradox the contradiction
- 30:36of you're both unique and very much have a lot in common with others like you're both
- 30:41but the unique set of life experiences and your particular experience of them as in the stories
- 30:46you took from them the lessons what you made of them like someone else could have gone through the
- 30:51exact same events of your life and they might have come up with a complete different response
- 30:56they might have taken different lessons they might have taken and I don't mean better lessons I mean
- 31:00they just different lessons they might have perceived things that happened to you and through you
- 31:05completely differently so you are such a unique combination like prism of experiences of stories
- 31:12of culture of background of perspective and so because of that how could one reduce you to
- 31:19anything even as the world keeps trying to reduce you to how you conform to the Eurocentric
- 31:25beauty standard to reduce you to the lifestyle you're living as according to the Instagram world
- 31:32to reduce you to the job you have the money you make this world is trying to do that constantly
- 31:37I want us to bring us into that consciousness of like they could never understand how actually
- 31:42divine I am and how painful it is that I have to live in a reality that doesn't see me like it never
- 31:48will it will never see the fullness of the magic of you because it doesn't even believe in magic
- 31:53because it needs to suppress the idea of magic for it to continue to sustain a reality that is
- 31:59the opposite of that that is rooted in the imagination the dream the desire of the colonizer okay
- 32:11so you cannot be reduced to any single stage of your life so if you're going through a very
- 32:16impossible or tough stage now what you to remember another stage of your life that you found so
- 32:21difficult and you really struggled and maybe you thought you wouldn't make it through
- 32:26and then I want you to go to that moment where you realized you were out of that feeling maybe it
- 32:35was months or years later where you woke up and you were like it didn't happen instantly you realized
- 32:40consciously wow I'm not in that place anymore I did get through that I did make it through that
- 32:46oh my word it's so easy to just forget that and so if I've experienced that transition before
- 32:53of I'm in the funk I'm in the pain and now I'm on the other side of it and if I'm now in the funk
- 32:59again how can I remind myself I have all the wisdom in me I have all the knowledge in me I have all
- 33:05the and I mean deep sensual knowledge like the feeling the feeling the intuition the sensitivity the
- 33:11responsiveness to overcome this again or to get through this again or to live or to experience this
- 33:19in a different way again because I can't be reduced to the stage because I've been in similar stages
- 33:24and I wasn't I wasn't that stage was I that stage of my life actually that's another question
- 33:29think of a time in your life you were struggling and now say oh I was that struggle and you will hear
- 33:34the illusion of that I was not that struggle you know what I mean I'm not I'm not only that I'm
- 33:39much much more things than that so similarly if you're in that now if you're really struggling with
- 33:44something you are not the struggle itself even though you're deeply experiencing it you are
- 33:49irreducible you are infinite okay now we are at number seven which for my sensitive deep and intense
- 33:56babes you understand okay so this is your emotional depth and empathy you are irreducible because you
- 34:03have this amazing wondrous magical capacity to feel to feel to feel the weight of the world and I
- 34:13know sometimes it's so tough and you wish you could turn it off but you also don't because you know
- 34:18that in that sensitivity in that empathy in that feeling is your humanity is you as a manifestation
- 34:25of love love feels love lets all the feelings in not just the joy and the bliss we know this love
- 34:30lets the heart break in love lets the grief in oh my word when we are grieving someone what are we doing
- 34:35we are loving them in a different manifestation of that love it is because we love them that we
- 34:41grieve them and so they are the same root they're the same they're different faces of the same
- 34:47phenomenon so love feels and so each time you are just remember that when you are feeling even the
- 34:56difficult things how can you invite yourself to ask how is this a manifestation of love if I'm
- 35:03feeling fear what am I loving what do I want to love that I feel I can't love properly
- 35:08if I'm feeling hurt and betrayal how is that love how is love speaking through me and do I
- 35:16understand the different languages that love speaks not physical touch and words of affirmation
- 35:24but disappointment anger joy peace love speaks every single emotional language that is available
- 35:34to it because it's this ultimate reality it's this ultimate dimension it's very powerful it's like
- 35:40the exact like it's kind of like the energetic mirror of the universe is love it's very powerful
- 35:46very expansive very infinite in its possibilities and in its manifestations so the depth of human
- 35:53emotions it says and our ability to empathize to empathize with others adds layers to our being
- 36:00that defies simplification so our emotional lives just make us all the more complex intricate
- 36:07magical our emotions are like an ocean vast deep and capable of both calm serenity and powerful
- 36:16storms making us more complex than what can be superficially observed so all of us to say that
- 36:24through our emotions we become very complex very multifaceted we are not reducible to anything
- 36:32because we have this deep wisdom of our emotions within us and they are very flexible and dynamic
- 36:38and powerful and they take us everywhere and sometimes we wish they just wouldn't wish they just
- 36:43wouldn't because of this emotional wonder and capacity and full spectrum of things that you can
- 36:49feel and that you have felt in your life if you did like a palette or painting and each color
- 36:55represented a different emotion it would be beautiful chaos be beautiful chaos because wow you've
- 37:03lived so much even no matter how old you are you've felt so much and love has spoken to you in
- 37:11so many ways and sometimes love speaks to us through the absence of love and the feeling we get
- 37:17when it's absent the neglect the pain and the disappointment but know that that is a manifestation
- 37:23of our deep desire and deep need as human beings to be loved so that when we are not it is so deeply
- 37:29painful it's existentially destroying because we know that it is at odds with our true nature
- 37:37as love so those were the seven reasons why you are irreducible you are infinite we spoke about
- 37:45your cosmic identity the fact that you are the cosmos the universe experiencing itself we spoke
- 37:51about your inherent divinity this magical mystical property beyond the physical dimension your energy
- 37:58your magic that is so felt in the universe and in other people on earth in ways that you cannot
- 38:04even comprehend and that goes beyond and transcends your physical manifestation and being then we
- 38:11spoke about your interconnected being the fact that there is this non dualism that it's not
- 38:16me and other it's not subject and object but rather we are a web of interconnected being and that
- 38:23is why we spend so much time thinking of each other feeling each other anticipating each other and
- 38:29how can we learn how to see the spiritual beauty of our interconnectedness rather than the pain of
- 38:37it and to really understand that we are our strongest when we recognize that we are the collective
- 38:44we are the collective you are the collective the things you fear the things you feel let those
- 38:49connect you with others let yourself imagine how many others feel that way how this feeling in you
- 38:54is in each of us if you are scared to create it's in each of us if you are grieving it's in each of
- 39:00us if you feel angry it's in each of us okay we are the collective we are mirrors and we are so
- 39:08much more connected than we are disconnected and how can we bring ourselves back to that ultimate
- 39:13reality to that love dimension fourth we spoke about our multi dimensionality our multi faceted
- 39:22nature the fact that we are these complex beings with different feelings thoughts experiences
- 39:27talents memories all of these multi dimensional ways that make it impossible to reduce us to any given
- 39:34one fifth we spoke about our capacity to grow and to evolve and to change and that was really beautiful
- 39:41because we spoke about how we are aspiring growing and learning and evolving that never stops it
- 39:49doesn't really take a break we're always learning something understanding something differently
- 39:53rethinking something deciding something we're always growing evolving and changing it's just not
- 39:57in a linear fashion as the society would have us believe okay rather it is much more intricate it's
- 40:04much more spirally it's thing relearning things it's learning new things it's all the things okay
- 40:10and it's like adding rings like a tree to our wisdom to our knowing to our experience sixth we
- 40:17talked about our unique life experiences and if we take the set of all the experiences memories
- 40:24moments life paths we've taken and we overlay that with the space and the time and the culture at
- 40:32the specific people in our lives who played specific roles we see that we do come to this unique
- 40:37life experience but we have to hold the tension there between the uniqueness of us and the connection
- 40:41with others the similarity with others that we are uniquely different and differently unique you
- 40:46know what I mean and so I don't know if that was actually anyways let's just sit with it because I
- 40:51know you know the desire of the paradox and I'll let you make that what you need it to be and then
- 40:56number last we spoke about emotional depth and empathy number seven we spoke about how we have
- 41:01this deep capacity to feel and if you're listening to this I would imagine that you are a sensitive
- 41:06soul babe you are a feeling soul and you are even though you love feeling you also feel the burden
- 41:13of feeling especially in times like this where so many people are demonstrating how emotionally
- 41:19avoidant and stunted and repressed our society can be such that we're not even allowed to have
- 41:24human reactions to human events okay and so I feel like embracing the fact that you are
- 41:29reducible because you have this incredible capacity to feel and that your feelings shift in very
- 41:35profound ways so you can't be reduced to any given one of them and you can't be reduced because
- 41:40you have this amazing wisdom of your emotional intelligence and understanding within you
- 41:46that is a wrap on today's episode I really hope that you received this I hope that you felt it I
- 41:52hope that you were able to do something fascinating with it I hope it planted a seed in your heart
- 41:57in your soul as I said when I got started I was fearful and anxious and I want to let this
- 42:03episode be what it is I want to share it with you I heard this metaphor that creativity is like a
- 42:08hosepipe that many of us have so many kinks in and we have to basically unblock it so that the water
- 42:14can flow through us but we all have the water we just all have so many kinks and blocks and I'm afraid
- 42:20of being judged and I'm afraid of saying the wrong thing and I'm afraid of being rejected and I'm
- 42:24afraid of being abandoned and I'm afraid of being criticized in a way that feels deeply deeply
- 42:29hurtful like I can't live or survive it and I have all of those fears and I'm sure you have
- 42:34others and more but remembering that each of those block us it's like blocking us from sharing
- 42:40our art from sharing our voice so I always want to just remind you that I feel these things you feel
- 42:46we are feeling them together let us go out into the world and express ourselves as we feel we need to
- 42:52knowing that our time on this earth is limited but also knowing that there are open hearts waiting
- 42:58yearning for wanting to receive what we feel so terrified of sharing I love you so much I hope
- 43:04you have a wonderful week this week and I'm sending you lots of love I'm sending you lots of
- 43:09magic I'm sending you a reminder of your wonderful cosmic power of this divine role that you play
- 43:17in the world I know that it doesn't feel that way but I promise you you matter my darling you are
- 43:22infinitely worthy you are irreducible and this world could never it could never give you a view
- 43:28of yourself that is this true magic that you have why because it needs us to feel that we are
- 43:35reducible because when we are reducible we are commodifiable when we are reducible we are
- 43:40dividable when we are reducible we tend to want to consume more things to make us feel more whole
- 43:47so it all fits into the matrix and the values that they want us to carry to keep reproducing
- 43:52the matrix I love you so dearly have a wonderful week that is all from me for this week see you
