  Danielle: It's like, where do I start, you know?

  Danielle: One of my friends said,"You should write a book someday that's called The Lessons You Learn the Hard Way." And I'm like,"Oh, yep, I could do that." Uh-huh.

  Danielle: could do that.

  Danielle: I will be 56 in a couple months.

  Danielle: so, um, just looking at kind of the, the whole journey that God's taken me through.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: Um, been married about 30, going on 34 years.

  Danielle: I have two adult children.

  Danielle: Wow.

  Danielle: Been in corporate America, have started and sold several businesses.

  Danielle: And, you know, from the outside, people looking in might be like,"She's got it made." You know?

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: "I can't imagine how things could have been hard for her." I was raised in a Christian home.

  Danielle: I have am- amazing parents, uh, a couple sisters, and, um, was raised on a farm.

  Danielle: Wow.

  Danielle: Uh, we raised 150,000 chickens.
• 2:37
  Danielle: So I was the farm girl and, uh, you know, would, would lead the crews along.

  Danielle: And so yeah, from the outside, I'm sure it looks like she probably had it made.

  Danielle: And, uh, but you know, we all have stories, right?

  Danielle: Yes.

  Danielle: All of us have stuff.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: It might look a certain way from the outside, but we all have things that we've gone through.

  theresa: One, one thing I know about you is your heart to serve, to reach out to the woman, maybe speak to the woman you once were.

  theresa: Um, every time I talk to you it's like we get in depth on either family or- Mm-hmm What You're doing something special right now.

  theresa: I don't know if it's ending, but t- tell us about that vision board that you're doing now.

  theresa: Yes.

  Danielle: Oh, thanks for asking.

  Danielle: Um, s- probably 20, 15 to 20 years ago, I had done my very first vision board.
• 3:32
  theresa: Okay.
• 3:33
  Danielle: And I sat in a room with several entre- entrepreneurs, and we pulled out magazines and had boards.

  Danielle: And our objective was to find all of the pictures of the things that we wanted in life.
• 3:45
  Danielle: Oh, wow.
• 3:45
  Danielle: Like, what did we want our house to look like?
• 3:47
  Danielle: What do we want our family to look like?
• 3:49
  Danielle: What kind of clothes did we wanna wear?
• 3:51
  Danielle: What kind of car do we want to drive?
• 3:52
  Danielle: All the stuff, you know?
• 3:53
  Danielle: Yeah.
• 3:53
  Danielle: So I'm cutting things out and pasting it, and you know, it just felt very like something to do, you know?

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: And, um, I really hadn't done a vision board since then.
• 4:03
  Danielle: Um- Wow in 2025, I connected with a girlfriend of mine.
• 4:09
  Danielle: Her name is Debbie Sluis.
• 4:10
  Danielle: And that's kind of what she does is, is, is vision boards.
• 4:14
  Danielle: Okay.
• 4:14
  Danielle: And so I went through the process with her, and it was a whole new experience because we actually invited God into this process.

  Danielle: Yeah into our vision, and what did that look like.
• 4:23
  Danielle: And that was the first time in a lot of years that I had done a vision board.

  theresa: Okay.
• 4:28
  Danielle: And at the end of that year, you know, the vision board wasn't necessarily set up on all the things that I wanted, but it was really taking the core areas of my life, you know?

  theresa: Mm.
• 4:38
  Danielle: Uh, family, um, my health, uh, finances- Yeah my business, personal.
• 4:43
  Danielle: And so it was creating this vision with the Lord and what that looked like.
• 4:48
  Danielle: And so at the end of 2025, as I reflected back, I felt like, wow, like, the things in my life with relationships and where I wanted to be, like, it felt, it felt very aligned with- Okay where God was calling me.

  Danielle: But there was one area in my life that I didn't feel like had developed the way that I wanted to.

  theresa: Wow.
• 5:08
  Danielle: And so I found myself kind of like, ugh, like having some doubts about where I wanted to move forward with.

  Danielle: And I just sensed the Lord saying,"We just have some work to do here.
• 5:17
  Danielle: It's not that you failed.
• 5:18
  Danielle: It's just there gets to be more work."
• 5:21
  theresa: Right.
• 5:21
  Danielle: And so But at the end of It was probably, uh, a couple days before the end of 2025, and I was looking at this blank board thinking- Okay"I'm ready and get to do a new vision board." And at that time, like, I was kind of hearing, you know, just- kind of where I had been stuck before and, and- Right maybe people that had, um, maybe even created some doubt, like- Mm you know, that I was listening to.

  Danielle: I thought,"I God, I have nothing." I, I- Yeah I'm having struggle a- at this point even, like, dreaming about what do I want 2026 to look like?

  Danielle: Wow.

  Danielle: And processing that with the Lord, and I remember out loud, you know, I don't know if you ever talk to yourself, but out loud I literally said,"This board is gonna be blank.

  Danielle: I've got nothing."

  theresa: Oh, wow.
• 6:12
  Danielle: And the Lord's like,"Yeah, it's-" That's a- starting out blank.""It's not gonna be anything like you've ever done."

  theresa: Oh, that's good.

  theresa: I love that, when God speaks like that.
• 6:21
  theresa: So,
• 6:21
  Danielle: yeah.
• 6:22
  theresa: So correct me if I'm wrong, but when you're talking about a vision board, what I, in my mind, I know what a vision board is, but- Yep in my mind, under your le- leading, I see a vision board that each picture may carry a story.

  theresa: Yeah.

  theresa: Each phrase may carry a story.
• 6:37
  theresa: Yeah.
• 6:37
  theresa: And I love that because- I've just been studying stories more, and look who was the best storyteller.

  theresa: I mean, Jesus was.
• 6:44
  Danielle: Yeah.
• 6:44
  theresa: And I think when you tell stories, I think that you can connect to yourself, and then you're actually, the vision board becomes a gift for someone to get a look into you.

  theresa: Is that kind of what you I mean, is that I mean, am I way off, or is that kind of where- Yeah you

  Danielle: are?
• 6:57
  Danielle: Well, it's so, it's so interesting, because God literally said It was probably maybe f- three months before that- Okay that he, I h- I felt him, I sensed him saying,"It's all gonna look different.

  Danielle: Everything that you- Wow know about your business is all gonna look different." And the year before, I had felt God calling me into LinkedIn, and I was like, I hadn't started yet, and I was like,"Lord, am I just supposed to be on a new platform?" And he's like,"No, this is deeper." And what he gave me, we shifted from a vision board, because he's like,"This is not about what you're gonna do and what you're gonna have.

  Danielle: This is about who you get to be."

  theresa: Ooh.

  Danielle: And so, you know, I don't know about you, but, like, most people, like, have a word for the year.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  theresa: Yeah.

  Danielle: I was like,"Lord, I don't know what you're talking about,'cause I don't even have a word for the year." And he reminded me, he goes,"No.

  Danielle: Uh, you've been keeping, you've been keeping a dialogue, like a, a, a, an index card full of words and phrases that I have given to you- Oh over the past six months," from devotionals, from mentors, from, uh- Yeah things I was reading from scripture.

  Danielle: And, and he just, like, I felt him saying,"Go get that."

  theresa: Wow.
• 8:03
  Danielle: And I pulled it out, and it wasn't one word.
• 8:06
  Danielle: There was a whole list of-

  theresa: Nice
• 8:08
  Danielle: words and phrases of who he created and called me to be.

  Danielle: And so right there and then, he said,"This is going to be a vision being board- Ooh not a vision board."

  theresa: That's
• 8:19
  Danielle: good.

  Danielle: And he gave me the process of what that looked like.

  Danielle: And by January 1, I had created a vision being board.

  Danielle: Love it.
• 8:27
  Danielle: No pictures on it,'cause he said,"The pictures are gonna come later as you're stepping into who- Oh I've created and called you to be." Wow.

  Danielle: So it just h- com- a completely new concept.

  Danielle: I'm actually- Yeah like, it's being, um, I'm, I'm having it, uh, a trademark, and I, and, and it being- Good registered right now.

  Danielle: Good.

  Danielle: 'Cause it's something A being board Yeah a being board.

  Danielle: Vision being board.
• 8:51
  Danielle: And it's been powerful.

  theresa: Yeah.

  theresa: 'Cause when I see, when I hear the word being, I feel like the be who am I in Jesus, like an identity board, uh- Right so now-

  Danielle: It is.

  Danielle: That's exactly what it is.

  theresa: Mm-hmm.

  theresa: You, uh, now you're in October 6th you're, um, offering your 12-week live Unleashed group coaching program.

  theresa: So w- what does that look like for someone?

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: So even if somebody hasn't been through, I, I'm doing a, um, I've done several vision being board master classes- Okay where I've kind of taken them through the foundation of it.

  Danielle: And then we've stepped into a three-week coaching where I'm actually taking women through the process of- Hmm what does it look like to create your vision being board?

  Danielle: And so, um, it's led into, uh, my, the signature Live Unleashed program.

  Danielle: Um- Yeah it's a 12-week where we're not only stepping into and, and uncovering our identity, but it's like what are the strongholds?

  Danielle: What are the things that have prevented us- Yeah from actually seeing ourselves the way that God-

  Danielle: created us to be.

  Danielle: And there's so many things.

  Danielle: There, for my life and, and I'm sure a lot of the women that I work with, we get caught up in the striving.

  Danielle: And, you know, it's like all the things that we want to do, we're looking for our heart's desires to be met in-

  theresa: Yeah

  Danielle: people, objects, and outcomes.

  theresa: Yeah.

  theresa: And

  Danielle: that was literally like 30 years of my life.
• 10:15
  Danielle: Wow.

  Danielle: So trying to find my identity, my purpose in all of these things and accomplishments, but yet even though it, you know, if there was some success, there was some failure in, but through all of that it was, there was still something missing.

  theresa: Yeah.

  Danielle: And that's when I realized it was.

  Danielle: It was my heart's desires were getting attached to things- Mm-hmm that could not ultimately-

  theresa: Right
• 10:36
  Danielle: fill that heart's desire, that only Jesus could.

  Danielle: That's so good.
• 10:39
  Danielle: So that's, that is a, a big foundational part of what Live Unleashed is.

  Danielle: God gave me that word, um, that's actually the name of my coaching, Live Unleashed Coaching.

  Danielle: Because it, it's all about, like, what does it look like to live unleashed in every area of your life?

  theresa: So tell me about 2 Kings- Chapter three.

  theresa: But I gotta tell you, 2 Kings chapter 4 is my, like, ugh.

  theresa: But tell me about what you heard about 2 Kings chapter three.

  theresa: Oh, wow.
• 11:18
  theresa: Come on, y'all.

  theresa: Bring us the

  Danielle: word.

  Danielle: Okay.

  Danielle: 2 Kings.

  Danielle: So my husband and I were, were home, um, on a Sunday and we, um, we have a local church that we go to, and we love.

  Danielle: We love the community.

  Danielle: We love the pastor there.

  Danielle: Um, but it was, it was a, a, a day that we just were home together.
• 11:38
  Danielle: Yeah.
• 11:38
  Danielle: And we, when we get online, there's several different churches that we watch.

  Danielle: Ours is one.
• 11:43
  Danielle: Okay.
• 11:43
  Danielle: But sometimes we'll jump on and we'll watch Life.Church, which is- Sure Craig Groeschel's church.
• 11:46
  Danielle: Craig Groeschel's, yeah.
• 11:47
  Danielle: Um, and that Sunday- Yeah um, he was talking about 2 Kings chapter 3, and the whole premise was on the, the kings that were going to fight against the Moabites.

  Danielle: And they were in the desert, and they're like,"God, we've been without water for three days."

  theresa: Yeah.
• 12:07
  Danielle: Give us water.
• 12:08
  Danielle: Provide us water." And Elis- uh, uh, Elisha was the prophet that- Right God called to speak over these kings, and basically what he said was,"God wanted you to know that you are to dig the ditch- Mm and he will provide the water.

  Danielle: And then a couple verses later in Second Kings talk about because everything is easy for God, and a couple verses in that also said,"You won't see wind and you won't see rain." And at the end of that message, uh, Pastor Craig said,"Ask the Lord what is the ditch that he's asking you to build or to dig?"

  theresa: Wow.

  Danielle: And how is he gonna work through you?" And I just knew there was something,'cause I had been It was before I had launched the Vision Being Board.

  theresa: Okay.

  Danielle: Um, and I just really, I, I just was excited to just come down and spend some time with the Lord, and just say,"Lord, what does this look like?

  Danielle: What is my ditch?" Like- Yeah is it me?

  Danielle: Is it fear?

  Danielle: What is causing me to, preventing me, there's resistance here to like- Yeah walk in this obedient step with this Vision Being Board.

  Danielle: Yeah.
• 13:17
  Danielle: 'Cause he told me not to keep it to myself.
• 13:19
  Danielle: He's like- Wow"You need to share this with other women." So I'm like s- seeking the L- Lord, what is this ditch?

  Danielle: What is this ditch that I'm supposed to dig?
• 13:26
  Danielle: And Craig had put a s- um, an image up on the screen behind him, and the picture was, um, the mountains and the desert.

  Danielle: And then the next slide was the mountains and the desert and this, this ditch that was full of water.

  Danielle: And so I was like,"Lord, what is my ditch?
• 13:42
  Danielle: What is my ditch?" And he showed me the thing that I, I don't wanna say that I hate, but that w- that I had struggled with.

  Danielle: It was kind of part of the technology, like a landing page, my emails, all that kind of stuff.

  Danielle: Oh, I see.
• 13:52
  Danielle: All of this stuff- Yeah that you think is a check the box is actually the ditch that I'm calling you to

  theresa: dig.

  theresa: Very good.

  theresa: Very good.

  Danielle: Cause it's this invitation where these women are come You're inviting these women to a safe place-

  theresa: Yeah

  Danielle: to, to see them, and then to guide them through the process.

  Danielle: And so this ditch that you're not digging alone, you're digging with me, but, but this is what you get to do.

  Danielle: We get to do this together- So good so that I can provide the water.

  theresa: Yeah.

  theresa: And- You just, you just described a lot of steps that people don't realize for visibility, the right kind of visibility, not just to be visible.

  Danielle: Right.

  theresa: And I think it's in digging the ditch.

  theresa: It's an understanding you need a website, you need a landing page, you need to give them something free.

  theresa: That I don't know if that connects with you, but I'm like, whoa, that is digging the ditch.

  theresa: For me, I say digging the ditch for visibility.

  theresa: Yeah.

  theresa: So, wow.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: And for me, it was not, again, not a check the box, not a hurry up- Okay do your website, all of that.

  Danielle: It was the invitation to carefully-

  Danielle: intentionally dig this ditch with the Lord, because this is the space that the women, that the women who he is, you know, connecting and bringing across my path- that this is the place and, and soft space for them to land- So good be invited to, because then he's gonna provide the water.

  Danielle: Which then leads not just to be stagnant there, but this ditch is actually moving towards this waterfall, which the picture behind me is-

  theresa: It's so wow.

  theresa: I wanna-

  Danielle: actually represents what is happening- Oh because this is the waterfall to freedom.

  Danielle: Mm-hmm.

  Danielle: So there's the sky and the mountains and the, the, the- There's the water dark brown, which is the banks, and then this calming space, which is this ditch that leads up to this waterfall of freedom.

  Danielle: So nice.

  Danielle: So, and this picture has been behind my desk for, like, the past nine months.

  Danielle: And I didn't This was not the image that God, that I asked- Oh, that's so good about this picture, because I loved it.

  Danielle: It worked with my office.

  Danielle: Uh,

  theresa: yeah.

  Danielle: And that day, the dig the ditch- Yeah aha moment-

  theresa: Mm-hmm

  Danielle: is when, uh, he showed me that vision- Uh-huh of what this picture actually is.

  theresa: I love that.

  Danielle: And the song, there's a song that's called All of a Sudden.

  theresa: Okay.

  Danielle: And that song is actually based on 2 King.

  Danielle: So here I am-

  theresa: Wow

  Danielle: feeling really great.

  Danielle: God gave me this ditch.

  Danielle: What is this?
• 16:17
  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: And all of a sudden I start singing this song about all of a sudden, all of a sudden.

  theresa: Mm.
• 16:22
  Danielle: And I'm like,"Oh, yeah, I wanna see these words." I pull up the words, and the song talks about strength will come-

• 16:30
  Danielle: all of a sudden.

  theresa: Mm.

  Danielle: And the bridge of the song is,"You won't see wind and you won't see rain."

  theresa: Oh, God.

  theresa: That's so good.

  Danielle: The drought will end.

  Danielle: Oh.

  Danielle: Everything will change all of a sudden, and I just started weeping.

  Danielle: Like-

  theresa: Yeah

  Danielle: God, you can't write this.

  Danielle: Like, this- Uh-huh was a moment, but I was seeking his heart.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: I was leaning in, and these were the things that he showed me.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: Mm.
• 16:55
  Danielle: And it was bl- mind-blowing.

  theresa: You know, Danielle- So- you've, you've been in the ministry.

  theresa: You've been in serving women.

  theresa: It Correct me if I'm wrong, but I see you as the water in the ditch.

  Danielle: Mm.

  theresa: And people get to, women get to jump in and- Yeah instantly or in a process get to be refreshed by the overflow- Yeah of what you have in you.

  theresa: I don't know if I mis- mis- or interpreted that.

  theresa: Yeah.

  theresa: But as you were talking and ex- even explaining, I'm like- You're the refreshing water.

  theresa: I mean, girl, you have It's like you have the foundation'cause you've been in corporate America, you've had businesses before, you've mentored women all over the world.

  theresa: But it's almost like God's saying,"Okay, I'm giving you an empty place, but you gotta jump in." Yeah.

  theresa: Am I wrong?

  theresa: 'Cause you gotta jump in- Mm-hmm'cause all of that is for n- not for nothing.

  theresa: Right.
• 17:45
  theresa: Exactly.

  theresa: There's so many women that I know that for a fact without even Uh,'cause I know you a little bit.

  theresa: I know there's You ha- You God has gifted you with so many different things that women need to shore up their identity, to get off the stuck,"I'm stuck" wheel- Yeah and to get off the striving wheel.

  theresa: But here you are at a certain age, and God's like,"Okay, girl, we're gonna pour you out in that ditch, and it's gonna be dry- Yeah but you're gonna fill it up." Am I wrong?

  Danielle: And no, that's- Does that resonate?

  Danielle: is exactly right.

  Danielle: Because I got to a place in my life right before I launched Live Unleashed where I said,"Lord, I don't ever want a woman to get to this place where I've been- Yeah with my business and my marriage- Yeah with my, you know, family, all the striving, all of the people-pleasing, all of the comparison- Yeah all of that.

  Danielle: And if I can help her- Learn what it means to live unleashed in every area of her life.

  Danielle: That's walking in freedom, and that's exactly what it is.

  Danielle: It's not like me telling women.

  Danielle: It's like linking arms with them.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: We're, like, linking our, the shields, like linking arms with the Lord because it's, it's not me.

  Danielle: It's what the, what God has done- I, yeah in me, and then what He wants to do through me.

  Danielle: So I just wanna point women back to Jesus- Yeah and say He is the source of our strength.

  Danielle: We don't need to strive.

  Danielle: We don't need to people please.

  Danielle: He is the one that put- Come on these heart's desires in us.

  Danielle: And He is the only one that can fulfill them the way that He designed.

  Danielle: All of the need for approval, freedom, you name it, love, justice, challenge- So good um, recognition, all of that.

  Danielle: Peace cannot come and be fulfilled in anything-

  Danielle: So- And that, that is, that's what I want women to know.

  Danielle: Like, the I was It I felt the Lord calling me into LinkedIn, and it took a year for me to step in because of all of that.

  Danielle: I don't wanna do something wrong, and who are- Yeah you know, all of the, the pe- the women who are here, and- Yeah the message that I have, and will it come?

  Danielle: And it's like when the Lord wants us to step in obedience, He's gonna give us the next.

  theresa: You know, with different conversations I've had with you at a couple different retreats, it's just so cool to see the full circle of God- Yeah you know, of you being faithful in the hard places, family.

  theresa: You know, you've been faithful to You've really been faithful to invest in yourself.

  theresa: We've been in two different organizations together.

  Danielle: St- you get to step out in obedience because just like me at a place in my life where I was praying for the thing, the woman, the organ- whatever, Lord, like, I need help, I need support in this.

  Danielle: And if the women who came across my path would have waited and delayed and stayed in their own silence as I had been for a long time.

  Danielle: Yeah.

  Danielle: It's like, I don't want to I know that God's already doing a change process in these women's hearts.

  Danielle: Hmm.

  Danielle: And when I put him in charge of my guest list, when I put him in charge- Yeah of the, you know, who's coming into the space, I know that I'm intersecting them at that moment when, that this is, this is God's perfect timing.

  Danielle: And I just get to be part of that journey with Jesus- So good with these women, and I'm like, that's where I felt like I cannot delay.

  Danielle: And so if there's- Yeah a woman, too, that's been praying or maybe she's wanting to take the next steps but doesn't know exactly what that looks like, or there's been- Right some resistance, it's time to move forward.

  Danielle: And God will What he, what he gives, he will, what he, what he brings our way, he will, he will help us walk through that, so yeah.

  theresa: always like the saying,"What God orders, he pays for."

  theresa: know, what I see is, um, this Live Unleashed group, it's like your deliverance, uh, that's a strong word, but your deliverance is helping someone else get over.

  theresa: And then that's why I think, and I also think you have lots of stories, you know, that you're gonna get real with these ladies and families about this.

  Danielle: There's no, like I, I don't show up- No in a group a certain way and then with another group a certain way.
