- 0:01Speaker 1: Now or Presents Mark some mo own show. All right,
- 0:08Speaker 1: buckle up, we'll get you all the latest. We'll get
- 0:11Speaker 1: caught up on everything and give you all the insight
- 0:14Speaker 1: details on everything. We'll get to the snowstorm, exact stuff
- 0:17Speaker 1: on what we know about the snowstorm coming late, very
- 0:21Speaker 1: late Saturday night. Then we'll get to the Oscar nominations.
- 0:25Speaker 1: They're out. We'll get to Davos. In fact, I'll expell
- 0:28Speaker 1: you how all this Davos works, and then we'll get
- 0:31Speaker 1: to the Trump speech, the highlight of of Davos. How
- 0:36Speaker 1: to be Scott Bessett going after Gavin Newsom. Let you
- 0:40Speaker 1: hear that the Clintons are in contempt of Congress. They
- 0:44Speaker 1: are facing criminal charges. We'll explain why and all of
- 0:47Speaker 1: that coming up. That weirdo, bug eyed weirdo Jack Smith
- 0:51Speaker 1: testifies today in front of Congress. Now, when people get
- 0:56Speaker 1: a look at him, he says, I mean, if you
- 0:58Speaker 1: were doing Law and Order or Blue Bloods, or you
- 1:02Speaker 1: need to have cast somebody as a psycho killer Jack Smith,
- 1:06Speaker 1: you might get he looks like a bit of a madman,
- 1:08Speaker 1: very strange guy. We'll get to him. We'll get to Hey,
- 1:12Speaker 1: you know you're not allowed to say illegals anymore, illegal aliens.
- 1:15Speaker 1: But apparently this is the new CNN campaign the left
- 1:19Speaker 1: now campaigning can't use the word illegal anymore. We'll get
- 1:22Speaker 1: to all of that coming up. So just got the snowstorm.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Here's the latest. Now, sometimes you'll see different forecasts because
- 1:31Speaker 1: there's several models that are used to calculate all this.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:37Speaker 1: One model, the American model, one model they call the
- 1:39Speaker 1: European model, and there's a couple others, so they differ
- 1:43Speaker 1: a little which and a lot of this has to
- 1:47Speaker 1: do with let's see, it's Thursday, Friday, Saturdays. Yeah, so
- 1:52Speaker 1: we're within three days. It becomes more and more certain
- 1:55Speaker 1: when you're within three days. Weather can change. A forecast
- 1:58Speaker 1: really only is really accurate for about three days. But
- 2:03Speaker 1: let's go with the most popular model, which shows the
- 2:07Speaker 1: storm will start Saturday after midnight, most likely around one am.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The snow will start at one am at Saturday night
- 2:17Speaker 1: and middle of the night Saturday and continue until Monday
- 2:22Speaker 1: morning at seven am, which means overnight Saturday, all day Sunday,
- 2:27Speaker 1: overnight Sunday night, and then end Monday morning. Some models
- 2:32Speaker 1: show six inches, some show as much as seventeen the
- 2:36Speaker 1: most popular and usually the most accurate model is now
- 2:40Speaker 1: showing six to twelve inches, so major storm, and it's
- 2:44Speaker 1: coming right over the New York area, right over New York,
- 2:47Speaker 1: right over New Jersey, Long Island, Fairfield County, Westchester County.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Usually we don't get the worst of these snowstorms, but
- 2:53Speaker 1: in this case we'll get the full impact. So Saturday,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and the other problem is it's going to be freezing cold,
- 3:02Speaker 1: bitterly cold, you know, like a real feel like ten
- 3:04Speaker 1: degrees that kind of cold all day Saturday. In fact,
- 3:08Speaker 1: Friday would be late in the afternoon, night overnight it'll
- 3:13Speaker 1: start getting really cold, and then Saturday will be the
- 3:15Speaker 1: coldest day. And then Sunday you're probably not gonna want
- 3:18Speaker 1: to go out anyway because that's the snowstorm. So one
- 3:21Speaker 1: o'clock in the morning Saturday, right now, that's the projected
- 3:24Speaker 1: start time of the snow. It will go all day Sunday,
- 3:27Speaker 1: overnight Monday stop Monday morning, but completely most likely completely
- 3:33Speaker 1: screw up Monday's rush hour, so it'll be a mess.
- 3:36Speaker 1: It'll take days to dig out of that. You know,
- 3:39Speaker 1: if you're worried about shoveling your driveway, your sidewalk. This
- 3:42Speaker 1: Remember the most important thing. Don't wait till the snow's
- 3:45Speaker 1: all there and start shoveling, because you could have a
- 3:47Speaker 1: foot of snow. You don't want to shovel that. So
- 3:49Speaker 1: every couple of inches, go out and shovel it, salt
- 3:52Speaker 1: it every couple of inches, and that way when it's
- 3:55Speaker 1: over you'll only have a couple of inches left. It'll
- 3:57Speaker 1: be easier. So if you just got back from Davos,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you won't mind. Because Davos looks like a blizzard. It's
- 4:04Speaker 1: kind of a dumpy place, you know, when you go
- 4:06Speaker 1: to these Swiss resorts, whether it's sammurtz Stad beautiful luxurious,
- 4:13Speaker 1: super luxurious ski resorts, when you go to Davos, it's
- 4:18Speaker 1: basically a dump. Everything's a dump there. The hotels are dumpy.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Everything is crappy there. The buildings are awful. Even where
- 4:25Speaker 1: they hold this world economic form, it looks good inside.
- 4:28Speaker 1: They put a lot of nice lighting and a beautiful scenery,
- 4:31Speaker 1: but it's just a dumpy place. The very super wealthy
- 4:36Speaker 1: that go to Davos every year, Oligarch's billionaires don't even
- 4:39Speaker 1: bother to stay in those hotels. They over the years
- 4:42Speaker 1: have started to own all the chalets. There's a lot
- 4:45Speaker 1: of chalets around this area, so they own them. They
- 4:49Speaker 1: fix them up with gyms and saunas and everything, and
- 4:52Speaker 1: there's a lot of locals there that make a lot
- 4:56Speaker 1: of money. When all these zillionaires come over and stay
- 4:58Speaker 1: in their chalets. These local go to work as drivers,
- 5:02Speaker 1: as staff take care of these chalets. And by the way,
- 5:07Speaker 1: one thing about Davos, it is the biggest event of
- 5:10Speaker 1: the year for hookers, especially in Europe, Russia, all those places.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Every major hooker, i mean prostitute that deal in a
- 5:20Speaker 1: high end prostitution, they descend on Davos for this week.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It's a huge, huge week for them. If you want
- 5:28Speaker 1: to go to Davos, yeah, you can buy a ticket.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You actually can. Companies buy them. The big big tickets
- 5:34Speaker 1: they buy are a million dollars. But that includes sponsorship
- 5:38Speaker 1: and all sorts of stuff that gets you total access
- 5:41Speaker 1: to every VIP everything. If you don't want full total
- 5:46Speaker 1: absolute VIP everything, but you want to you know, good
- 5:49Speaker 1: seats and all that, that's about seventy five thousand to
- 5:53Speaker 1: get in. There are a lot of thirty five thousand
- 5:56Speaker 1: dollars things. Now, if you get the seventy five thousand dollars,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you get extras, you get a special badge just for
- 6:04Speaker 1: the elites there, but a lot of people are paying
- 6:08Speaker 1: seventy five thousand. And now the other thing is, once
- 6:13Speaker 1: you get there, everything is a fortune. Everything a hot
- 6:17Speaker 1: dog is forty dollars. Literally, drinks, It's like Las Vegas.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Now everything costs a fortune to get there. Three thousand
- 6:23Speaker 1: delegates attend Davos every year. Obviously, the higher paying people
- 6:29Speaker 1: for the higher tickets, get more access. If you one
- 6:32Speaker 1: of those million dollar things, you can sit on panels,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you can get invited to closed door roundtables, all sorts
- 6:38Speaker 1: of small access stuff. And you know what's interesting. So Davos,
- 6:42Speaker 1: the President's speech was the high point. Now he got
- 6:45Speaker 1: a standing ovation. These are from the heads of state
- 6:49Speaker 1: all over the world, from the billionaires all over the world,
- 6:51Speaker 1: from all sorts of people standing ovation for President Trump.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom was at Davos. Nobody knew what the hell
- 7:00Speaker 1: he was doing there. Apparently Alex Soros brought him, but
- 7:06Speaker 1: Newsom looked like a crasher almost He didn't have a
- 7:09Speaker 1: seat during the president speech. He had to stand in
- 7:12Speaker 1: the back of the room. You could see him standing
- 7:14Speaker 1: there look kind of pathetic, and I'll play for you.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Now this was the high point. I think Scott Besant
- 7:21Speaker 1: is speaking the Treasury secretary and he starts to go
- 7:25Speaker 1: after Gavin Newsom, and it was great. Take a listen
- 7:28Speaker 1: to Scott Bessant.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Governor Newsom, who strikes me as Patrick Bateman needs Sparkle
- 7:33Speaker 2: beach Ken maybe the only Californian who knows less about
- 7:37Speaker 2: economics than Kamala Harris. He's here this week with his
- 7:43Speaker 2: billionaire sugar daddy Alex Soros, and the Davos is a
- 7:48Speaker 2: perfect place for a man who when everyone else was
- 7:51Speaker 2: on lockdown, when he was having people arrested for going
- 7:54Speaker 2: to church, he was having thousand dollars a night meals
- 7:58Speaker 2: at the French laundry. I'm sure the California people won't
- 8:01Speaker 2: forget that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah, now, why would dowse go, Well, he wants to
- 8:05Speaker 1: run in twenty twenty eight. He considers himself the leading
- 8:07Speaker 1: candidate only because he's the most visible and he's doing
- 8:11Speaker 1: stunts and podcasts and all that stuff. And he's a
- 8:14Speaker 1: governor but not known for any foreign policy expertise, so
- 8:18Speaker 1: not that he knows anything about being governor but that's
- 8:20Speaker 1: why he's in Davos to look like he has some
- 8:22Speaker 1: sort of foreign policy gravitas, which he doesn't. But Bessent
- 8:26Speaker 1: was great.
- 8:26Speaker 2: He went on and I was told he was asked
- 8:29Speaker 2: to give a speech on his signature policies. But he's
- 8:33Speaker 2: not speaking because what of his economic policies brought outward
- 8:38Speaker 2: migration from California, a gigantic budget deficit, the largest homeless
- 8:43Speaker 2: population in America, and the poor folks in the Polisades
- 8:48Speaker 2: who had their homes burned down. He is here hobnobbing
- 8:52Speaker 2: with the global elite while his California citizens are still homeless.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Pretty good. So Newsom is claiming that he was supposed
- 9:04Speaker 1: to speak but it was blocked by the Trump administration.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Nobody at Davos believes that there's no way he would
- 9:11Speaker 1: be speaking. He is absolutely no qualifications of any kind
- 9:16Speaker 1: to speak on the economy or economics. He's not a
- 9:19Speaker 1: Davos level kind of speaker. It would never happen. But again,
- 9:24Speaker 1: this is his current campaign for twenty twenty eight. Lots
- 9:27Speaker 1: of stunts, lots of theatrics. Hey, you know who is
- 9:31Speaker 1: at Davos. Al Gore Davos for years was like a
- 9:36Speaker 1: climate change green scheme, you know, woke all this said,
- 9:40Speaker 1: it's no longer the case is still a lot of
- 9:42Speaker 1: it left over. But the guy behind all of that,
- 9:44Speaker 1: the founder of Davos, had to step down last year
- 9:47Speaker 1: in total scandal, and Larry Think of Blackrock, took over
- 9:51Speaker 1: as chairman, and he's gotten rid of all that green stuff,
- 9:54Speaker 1: at least on the surface. It's still there underneath. So
- 9:58Speaker 1: it used to be dominant by John Kerry al Gore
- 10:02Speaker 1: with their climate change, the World's coming to an end,
- 10:04Speaker 1: doom and gloom stuff. But al Gore still showed up.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Everybody was stunned. He came out of the past al
- 10:12Speaker 1: Gore looking old and puffy and gray, but he was
- 10:17Speaker 1: there to do a speech, a round table or whatever
- 10:20Speaker 1: it was. If you want to see it, go look
- 10:21Speaker 1: at my Twitter. The picture is hysterical. It's so pathetic.
- 10:25Speaker 1: They've put him in a tiny room with just a
- 10:27Speaker 1: few chairs, and most of the chairs are empty. He
- 10:30Speaker 1: drew about six people for this speech, and a lot
- 10:32Speaker 1: of people think it's just the six people that came
- 10:35Speaker 1: with him. Quite pathetic for al Gore, absolutely ridiculous. Hey,
- 10:41Speaker 1: today is just finishing up there. Greenland was the big thing.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Everything looks okay now with Greenland, or, as Trump said.
- 10:49Speaker 3: What I'm asking for is a piece of ice, cold
- 10:54Speaker 3: and poorly located that can play a vital role in
- 10:59Speaker 3: world piece and world protection.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Now, first of all, the idea of taking Greenland is
- 11:06Speaker 1: not a Trump policy. People keep attacking it like it's
- 11:08Speaker 1: some sort of Trump thing for US to get Greenland.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's been US policy for one hundred years, many many
- 11:16Speaker 1: presidents have been trying to get Greenland. In fact, in
- 11:19Speaker 1: the past we've made six very serious offers to buy it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So it's not a Trump policy. It's an official US
- 11:27Speaker 1: policy for decades and decades and decades. But it looks
- 11:31Speaker 1: like Trump will be the first person to get something done.
- 11:34Speaker 1: It looks like we're not going to get Greenland. He says.
- 11:37Speaker 1: There is an agreement there, framework is there. They just
- 11:40Speaker 1: got to hammer it out. Now it looks like we
- 11:42Speaker 1: will not buy Greenland and own it. We will not
- 11:45Speaker 1: be given Greenland. So far, what it looks like is
- 11:49Speaker 1: it's more like we're going to lease the car rather
- 11:51Speaker 1: than buy it, but a very long term lease, very
- 11:54Speaker 1: very long term. He's claiming, I don't know what that
- 11:56Speaker 1: would what would that mean? One hundred years something like that.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So we'll get what we need in Greenland, will get
- 12:03Speaker 1: access to all the land we need. Now we have
- 12:07Speaker 1: a military base there, we want to put more. We
- 12:09Speaker 1: have very very serious military stuff we need to put
- 12:11Speaker 1: there for strategic reasons. There are other places around the
- 12:15Speaker 1: world where we make a deal, we pay money whatever
- 12:17Speaker 1: we have to do to put a military base there.
- 12:19Speaker 1: But that's a problem because then every few years you
- 12:21Speaker 1: got to renegotiate and they threaten to kick you out.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So we don't want to go through that. Apparently this
- 12:26Speaker 1: agreement solves that we would have total control of what
- 12:31Speaker 1: we need in Greenland for a long period of time.
- 12:35Speaker 1: And what did Trump get after all this, Well, the
- 12:38Speaker 1: concessions were because in the past certain stuff still had
- 12:42Speaker 1: to be approved by the Danish parliament. Apparently that's gone.
- 12:45Speaker 1: We won't need any approval. We'll have total control of
- 12:48Speaker 1: these areas. And the other problem is keeping the Russians
- 12:52Speaker 1: and the Chinese out of there. Apparently that's going to
- 12:54Speaker 1: be part of the agreement. So it looks like they've
- 12:56Speaker 1: got Now they've got to hammer out the details, get
- 12:58Speaker 1: it signed. We'll see what happens. The Clintons are in
- 13:03Speaker 1: contempt of Congress. They right now are at risk of
- 13:07Speaker 1: going to jail. It's very possible, very possible because the
- 13:12Speaker 1: last two people that did this contempt to Congress, refused
- 13:15Speaker 1: to testify, were sent to prison, Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro.
- 13:20Speaker 1: So you can be sent to prison for doing this,
- 13:23Speaker 1: and they're doing it. The Clintons have refused to testify.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Now they had to vote whether to hold them in
- 13:30Speaker 1: contempt and do a criminal referral. The vote was yesterday.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Enough Democrats voted to go after the Clintons, hold them
- 13:39Speaker 1: in contempt. Enough Democrats voted for that for the thing
- 13:42Speaker 1: to pass, so they are now in contempt. Let me
- 13:46Speaker 1: see you forget the vote. Yeah, it was thirty four
- 13:47Speaker 1: to eight. So a lot of Democrats, a lot of Democrats.
- 13:54Speaker 1: This is the committee, it's not all of Congress. A
- 13:56Speaker 1: lot of Democrats voted to go after the Clintons. Now
- 13:59Speaker 1: a lot of people are added Hakim Jeffries, because he
- 14:02Speaker 1: was supposed to prevent that from happening. He was supposed
- 14:04Speaker 1: to keep the Democrats in line so they didn't vote
- 14:07Speaker 1: against the Clintons. And Hakim Jeffries apparently was working the
- 14:11Speaker 1: phones like crazy, trying to do that, but he was unsuccessful.
- 14:16Speaker 1: As Uncle Junior would say, he couldn't sell it. He's
- 14:20Speaker 1: not respected, so it looks bad for Hakim Jeffries. Now,
- 14:24Speaker 1: why would a lot of Democrats vote against the Clintons,
- 14:26Speaker 1: vote to convict them, put them in a legal jeopardy
- 14:30Speaker 1: because a lot of today's Democrats can't stand the Clintons.
- 14:33Speaker 1: The Clintons are old dinosaurs from the past. The modern
- 14:37Speaker 1: Democrats have no respect for them. Not to mention, the
- 14:39Speaker 1: Clintons were quite moderate, they weren't very left wing. Today's
- 14:44Speaker 1: Democrats hate them and want to go after them, so
- 14:47Speaker 1: we'll see what happens. They could. Now a lot of
- 14:49Speaker 1: people think, here's what's going to happen. They are in
- 14:51Speaker 1: legal jeopardy. They can be sent to prison for this,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and a lot of people think what the Clintons will
- 14:58Speaker 1: do is cave in, make some sort of deal to testify.
- 15:02Speaker 1: They'll probably Usually you try to do that on a
- 15:04Speaker 1: Friday night because when the news breaks on a Friday night,
- 15:08Speaker 1: nobody's paying attention. People are out, people aren't watching the
- 15:11Speaker 1: news so much. But we got a big snowstorm coming
- 15:14Speaker 1: Saturday night, so that'll dominate the news coverage. They may
- 15:18Speaker 1: do it Saturday night in the middle of that snowstorm
- 15:20Speaker 1: to get the least amount of attention for it. Anyway,
- 15:23Speaker 1: we had a lot more to talk about, and we'll
- 15:25Speaker 1: get to the Oscars. Marty Supreme did pretty well. The
- 15:29Speaker 1: biggest one was the film Sinners that got so many nominations.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Sinners got sixteen nominations, making it the most nominated movie
- 15:38Speaker 1: in history. Marty Supreme nominated Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay,
- 15:45Speaker 1: Timothy Chalomay for Best Actor, Best Actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael
- 15:52Speaker 1: b Jordan, Ethan Hawke, Wagner Mora, what else. There was
- 15:57Speaker 1: some snubs there. Wicked Avatar seemed to get snubbed. Anyway,
- 16:02Speaker 1: we'll get to all of this coming up on seven
- 16:04Speaker 1: ten wor we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three
- 16:08Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 16:12Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten.
