- 0:48Speaker 2: What's up?
- 0:49Speaker 1: The Northwest is in the building.
- 0:51Speaker 2: The Northwest is in the motherfucking building.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yes. First of all, you have been grinding independently for
- 0:56Speaker 1: a very long time, very long time. How long have
- 1:00Speaker 1: you kind of been like I guess like rapping is
- 1:04Speaker 1: like your full time thing where it's like, you know,
- 1:06Speaker 1: this is what I want to do. Yeah, this is
- 1:09Speaker 1: what I'm going to pursue this no matter what. Like
- 1:11Speaker 1: how long has that journey been?
- 1:12Speaker 3: I mean since I decided this was the only thing
- 1:15Speaker 3: I was going to pursue. I was like a small child.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I was like nine, Wow, But how long I've actually
- 1:20Speaker 3: been doing it? I would say about seven years when
- 1:23Speaker 3: I signed like my first publishing, Gissing.
- 1:25Speaker 1: You were just like a little kid, like just loving.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Him, loving hip hop so much.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah was that your parents.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Or No, it's not my parents.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I grew up in a suburb called Lake Oswego, and uh,
- 1:39Speaker 3: I had an older brother and he he was like
- 1:42Speaker 3: my best friend when I was little, and I obviously
- 1:45Speaker 3: some one of my best friends on my brother and
- 1:49Speaker 3: we shared an iTunes account. So he was just like
- 1:51Speaker 3: putting me onto all kinds of new music. It's like
- 1:52Speaker 3: two thousand and six, so it's like the cool It's like,
- 1:56Speaker 3: you know, post get Richard, I trying, and there's a
- 1:58Speaker 3: lot of jay Z, there's a lot of Kanye, there's
- 2:01Speaker 3: a lot of Wayne gez t I. So he kind
- 2:04Speaker 3: of put me onto all that, and I didn't really
- 2:06Speaker 3: have friends where I was living, so that became my friend.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Penn became my friend, and I just was like, I'm
- 2:13Speaker 3: obsessed with this. I feel connected to it, I feel confident,
- 2:16Speaker 3: I feel like I'm.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It was like my vessel to like learn about myself
- 2:20Speaker 2: in the world.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You started writing at nine.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, mostly like remixes, Like I was doing remixes
- 2:26Speaker 3: to like GZ songs.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I remember the first the first record you wrote a
- 2:30Speaker 1: remix too.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It was Soul survivor.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Wow, shout out to Easy, shout.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Out to GZ. Yeah. And then I started going, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: YouTube type beats.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's about Yeah. YouTube type beats were probably kicking
- 2:41Speaker 1: or like starting to pop up back then. Oh yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 1: oh yeah, the type beat. Do you feel like, do
- 2:45Speaker 1: you have you probably have YouTube type beats under your
- 2:47Speaker 1: name now.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I think I do. Actually, I think we've looked them up. Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I feel like that's like a nice barometer of like
- 2:53Speaker 1: shit's going the right way if someone's doing like wind
- 2:55Speaker 1: type beats on YouTube straight up. Do you remember the
- 2:57Speaker 1: first like album that like just made you fall in.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It was the cool, the cool yep yep yep. It
- 3:03Speaker 3: was like my brother and I. We would play PS two.
- 3:06Speaker 3: We'd be playing like Midnight Club Dub edition, and he
- 3:09Speaker 3: would just have that album on Loop and I was
- 3:10Speaker 3: just listening to the stories into the wordplay, to the
- 3:13Speaker 3: way he was combining words like it just blew my
- 3:16Speaker 3: mind and the beats like it was great production.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And that album is aged so well too.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean incredible album.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah, shots, have you met have you met Loop yet?
- 3:24Speaker 2: I have not met Lupe yet, but that's one of
- 3:26Speaker 2: my goats.
- 3:26Speaker 1: He's an alien.
- 3:27Speaker 2: He is an actual alien. What a cool dude.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I just saw he just celebrated ten years of
- 3:34Speaker 1: Tetsuo and youth, I feel like. And then I was like, damn,
- 3:38Speaker 1: I'm damn.
- 3:39Speaker 2: That made me feel old too.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Shout to you know that album is so slept on Murals,
- 3:43Speaker 1: It's like eight minutes straight to him.
- 3:45Speaker 3: My my boyfriend will rap that. If you even mention
- 3:47Speaker 3: the word murals, he will rap that entire song a
- 3:50Speaker 3: cappella to you without missing a word.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah that's my boyfriend. Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Does your boyfriend put you on any music?
- 3:56Speaker 2: I put him on the more music he puts me onto.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Yeah, who's the last person? Like you felt like you
- 4:00Speaker 1: kind of found and like were able to put your
- 4:02Speaker 1: homies on, cause you're kind of that artist for a
- 4:03Speaker 1: lot of people.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yes, I mean I was like, I feel like I
- 4:07Speaker 3: was early for some of my homies in this room.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I was like the first on Baby King when he
- 4:11Speaker 3: had like four thousand followers, like.
- 4:13Speaker 2: On Smino, really early.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I don't know where tie is, but yeah, a lot
- 4:17Speaker 3: of I'm always putting people on a new artist. I
- 4:19Speaker 3: try to stay tapped in and finding people even like
- 4:22Speaker 3: you know, on a current tip.
- 4:24Speaker 1: For you being an independent artist, it has a lot
- 4:29Speaker 1: of peaks at valleys. Yeah, obviously, like the number one
- 4:32Speaker 1: thing is like how can I make my craft like
- 4:34Speaker 1: pay the bills? Yeah, did you ever get to a
- 4:37Speaker 1: point where like the rubber was hitting the road and
- 4:39Speaker 1: you were like, I don't know if this shit's gonna work.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely. I mean I have a weird thing where
- 4:46Speaker 3: I like, I don't even I don't know that I
- 4:48Speaker 3: ever felt like I don't think this is gonna work.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Like I've always been a little crazy and feeling like no,
- 4:53Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm gonna make this work. And granted, when
- 4:56Speaker 3: I when I mentioned those seven years I've been doing
- 4:59Speaker 3: this in that time, I've been building with the manager
- 5:01Speaker 3: that I currently have, and he just believes in me
- 5:04Speaker 3: so much. So we've just never wavered in like our
- 5:08Speaker 3: confidence and beliefs super important, more important than anything if
- 5:12Speaker 3: you ask me. But we have definitely had our bouts
- 5:16Speaker 3: of like, Okay, how am I gonna how? You know,
- 5:19Speaker 3: like I know, I know it's there, but how am
- 5:21Speaker 3: I gonna get there?
- 5:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:22Speaker 3: And what does that look like? And how long is
- 5:24Speaker 3: it gonna fucking take? Because like I said, I'm twenty
- 5:28Speaker 3: eight now. I turned twenty nine this year. I've been
- 5:30Speaker 3: doing it for a really long time, so it gets times.
- 5:32Speaker 3: You know, people are grown up. We can't sleep on
- 5:34Speaker 3: people's floors anymore. Like, so a lot of just like
- 5:39Speaker 3: I'm a big I'm a big locker inner, Like I'm
- 5:43Speaker 3: if I set my mind to do something, I'm gonna
- 5:45Speaker 3: do it. So it's just like like the mixtape honestly
- 5:47Speaker 3: is a good example of that. The mixtape I just dropped.
- 5:49Speaker 3: It was like I need to I'm kind of tired
- 5:52Speaker 3: of being in this position, and I know my potential
- 5:55Speaker 3: and I know I know what I need to work on,
- 5:57Speaker 3: and I know how to push myself to get there.
- 5:59Speaker 3: So let me like let me make this mixtape to
- 6:01Speaker 3: build up anticipation for my album and proof is in
- 6:04Speaker 3: the putting.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Do you feel like, because I think that one of
- 6:06Speaker 1: the most important things, like a manager, that you have
- 6:08Speaker 1: to kind of having a manager is somebody who believes
- 6:12Speaker 1: in you and your vision. Oh yeah, fully, Oh my god,
- 6:17Speaker 1: because you got you guys, I'm sure have gone to
- 6:19Speaker 1: a lot of meetings where they try to tell you
- 6:21Speaker 1: what you should be doing or hey, yeah, she's fine,
- 6:24Speaker 1: but maybe you guys should do this, and it's like
- 6:26Speaker 1: very hard to not have their peer pressure to like yes,
- 6:31Speaker 1: be like no, I am gonna do what the fuck
- 6:32Speaker 1: I want to do, and my team believes in it.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Yes, shout out to court Man because he and Etai
- 6:41Speaker 3: who's in here somewhere, like they have just held me
- 6:44Speaker 3: down and believed in me, believed in my vision.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Like they have never tried to take the wheel from me.
- 6:49Speaker 3: They're just like and rob too, you know, like if
- 6:51Speaker 3: this is like, if this is gonna work, it's gonna
- 6:54Speaker 3: be because you stick to who you are and you
- 6:56Speaker 3: trust your gut and so when there are things that
- 6:59Speaker 3: don't feel right to me, like they've always supported me.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And when when it's taken longer. You know, when it's
- 7:04Speaker 3: brick by brick, it's harder. People aren't getting paid, so
- 7:07Speaker 3: it's like everybody just has to believe and be patient
- 7:10Speaker 3: and put in the work. And yeah, that's more important
- 7:12Speaker 3: than anything, is that your team trusts you, unbelieves me.
- 7:15Speaker 1: What's the crazy because obviously you are a white girl,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and I'm assuming like you've probably been told like, hey,
- 7:21Speaker 1: maybe you should do some more pop shit or has
- 7:24Speaker 1: there been anything crazy that like a label or an
- 7:27Speaker 1: R somebody has told you. We're like, yeah, like what
- 7:28Speaker 1: the fuck are we doing here?
- 7:30Speaker 3: Like, you know, and nobody has ever told me to
- 7:32Speaker 3: go pop like because I think the like I mean, also,
- 7:36Speaker 3: I think my team has done a good job of
- 7:38Speaker 3: putting me in rooms with people who get me.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You understand.
- 7:41Speaker 3: So yeah, all those meetings that have come about have
- 7:44Speaker 3: been off of like a viral freestyle or like, it's
- 7:47Speaker 3: very clear that I do what I do.
- 7:48Speaker 1: This is what I do.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Yeah, so nobody's trying to push me to a different genre.
- 7:53Speaker 3: But you know there's other things like you're this is
- 7:56Speaker 3: not gonna work. You're not gonna be respected as like
- 7:58Speaker 3: a white female lyricist. I bet started the only fans girl,
- 8:02Speaker 3: And I'm like, let's just go.
- 8:03Speaker 1: That's fucking but yeah, yeah, I'm sure you see someone
- 8:07Speaker 1: because like you've gone viral on Twitter now, yeah, and
- 8:09Speaker 1: like Twitter, Twitter is like the depths of Hell.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so when you go viral on Twitter, Oh, it's
- 8:14Speaker 1: fucking crazy. It's like that remember that PlayStation game where
- 8:18Speaker 1: like there was like a dude alone in a mall
- 8:20Speaker 1: with a bunch of zombies and I think it was
- 8:22Speaker 1: called Dead Rising. That's Twitter.
- 8:24Speaker 2: That's how my life.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But I'm like, I'm curious, like like it. There are
- 8:29Speaker 1: some like funny comments, like people be like you'll hear
- 8:33Speaker 1: like the White Girls ship. Oh my god, did you
- 8:35Speaker 1: see all that stuff?
- 8:36Speaker 3: Oh my god? I mean I don't see all of it.
- 8:38Speaker 3: There's a lot of it, but it yes, it is.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I come across it for sure.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Is it like for you because I mean obviously you're
- 8:45Speaker 1: from Portland. Portland's a very progressive place, beautiful city.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 1: How like because we've seen a lot of like quote
- 8:54Speaker 1: unquote white rappers kind of come in and like do
- 8:57Speaker 1: their thing, but then kind of like overstep their boundaries
- 8:59Speaker 1: a little about being a guest in the culture, Like
- 9:01Speaker 1: how important is it for you to be kind of
- 9:03Speaker 1: cognizant of like that.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I mean, that's like everything, you know, this is not
- 9:09Speaker 3: my culture, this is not what I come from.
- 9:11Speaker 2: So it's like it's who I am, and it's what
- 9:13Speaker 2: I love to do.
- 9:14Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, like I'm not
- 9:16Speaker 3: trying to step on anybody's toes and I'm here to
- 9:19Speaker 3: rap because I love it, and that's like that's what
- 9:22Speaker 3: I've been doing my whole life and it's who I am.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And so when people have reservations about me, I get
- 9:28Speaker 3: it because there's nobody who looks like me that has
- 9:31Speaker 3: done anything good for hip hop, you know. Yeah, so
- 9:35Speaker 3: I think it's like it can be really triggering for
- 9:38Speaker 3: people to see someone who looks like me rapping. So yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 3: I see all those comments that are like two years
- 9:43Speaker 3: so she goes country or she's gonna switch up pop
- 9:45Speaker 3: and disrespect hip hop, which like I would never do.
- 9:49Speaker 2: This is like very much like the core of my being.
- 9:52Speaker 3: So when I see those comments, I don't take them
- 9:54Speaker 3: personally because you get it.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I know where they come from.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, we got to stop the interview to tell
- 9:59Speaker 1: you about our good folks. Odd socks. Man. Now, these
- 10:01Speaker 1: are the odd Socks Basics, ladies and gentlemen. Now when
- 10:04Speaker 1: I tell you this is a product that every single
- 10:08Speaker 1: day I'm alive for the last five six years I
- 10:13Speaker 1: have used are these odd Socks Basics. Now, what odd
- 10:16Speaker 1: Socks is doing is they're kind of reinventing the sock game,
- 10:18Speaker 1: if we're being honest, and the underwear game. You know,
- 10:20Speaker 1: a lot of times you'll hit Walmart, you'll hit Target,
- 10:23Speaker 1: You'll get some socks, you get some draws. They're affordable,
- 10:26Speaker 1: they end up with holes in them, they don't really
- 10:28Speaker 1: feel great. Not odd Socks, ladies and gentlemen. These odd
- 10:31Speaker 1: Socks Basics are the most comfortable socks I've ever had
- 10:34Speaker 1: on my feet. Not only that, but you're super affordable.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Fourteen ninety nine for a six pack. That's it odd
- 10:43Speaker 1: socks dot Com. And if you don't believe me, sock
- 10:48Speaker 1: check full. Wait that's the ex is on the other side.
- 10:52Speaker 1: There we go. Ah, you see that. Sorry you had
- 10:56Speaker 1: to see those white legs. But it's so dope that
- 11:00Speaker 1: you know, I get to push a product that I
- 11:02Speaker 1: use and that I love, So odd Socks they got
- 11:05Speaker 1: the six pack of socks for fourteen ninety nine at
- 11:07Speaker 1: odd socks dot com. The basics, this is the future
- 11:10Speaker 1: of socks, the future of underwear, comfort and affordability. I'm
- 11:15Speaker 1: talking about affordability without jeopardizing the quality because they are
- 11:19Speaker 1: the most comfortable socks you ever put on your feet.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Ladies and gents and the ETCeteras. Got to show love
- 11:24Speaker 1: to the ETCeteras. We like all the stripes on the flag.
- 11:27Speaker 1: There are odd socks dot com. Man, much love to
- 11:30Speaker 1: my brothers over there. Make sure you get some right
- 11:32Speaker 1: now odd socks dot com. Let's get back to the interview.
- 11:35Speaker 1: How crazy is it to be able to get Dabian
- 11:38Speaker 1: Lillard on your mixtape as as? I mean, that's like
- 11:42Speaker 1: the Jordan of Portland.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Pretty sick, Yeah, literally, the Jordan of Portland. Nice good assonance.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It's like him or Clyde, you know.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, yeah, I mean, Dame's a legend.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Dame is, like I I've been saying this to a
- 11:54Speaker 3: few people, just he's more reliable than some of my friends.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Like I can hit him to hop on a record
- 11:59Speaker 3: and he's like, he's got my back. So he's been
- 12:03Speaker 3: supporting me for a long time since I first started
- 12:06Speaker 3: going viral in like twenty sixteen, twenty seventeen. So he's
- 12:09Speaker 3: he's stayed in my corner and kind of helped mentor
- 12:12Speaker 3: me as far as like what it looks like to
- 12:14Speaker 3: stay in Portland.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I think it's dope. And then I'm just
- 12:18Speaker 1: I'm I was like so happy he got traded back
- 12:20Speaker 1: or I don't know if he got traded back or
- 12:21Speaker 1: they re signed him or yes. I was like, that
- 12:23Speaker 1: feels right something about that in the world. It feels right.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Yes, seeing him in the buckster, is he doing this?
- 12:28Speaker 1: It was like, I didn't work out, just just go home,
- 12:32Speaker 1: come back. Yeah. And the Blazers are like a really good,
- 12:35Speaker 1: scrappy like team.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we're young, we're young, We're going to figure it out.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah. The Sons gave y'all Kamara or what's his name? Yeah,
- 12:43Speaker 1: the bruh from uh yeah to money to money yeah jesus. Yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 1: second round pick which gave him away.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah, we got some good players right now. Yes, Denny yep,
- 12:56Speaker 3: ya crazy. Yeah, he's going crazy. Scoot Hender's going us
- 13:01Speaker 3: Shaden Yeah, yeah, we've.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Shout out the Blazers for you. Who's been the coolest
- 13:07Speaker 1: co sign or person that you've seen, like like something
- 13:11Speaker 1: or leave a comment on something or d M you
- 13:14Speaker 1: because you are out like you are super viral the
- 13:17Speaker 1: past six months.
- 13:18Speaker 3: So I'm assuming it's been crazy. It's been really crazy.
- 13:23Speaker 3: To name a few, it's been like no name Questlove,
- 13:28Speaker 3: Drake Asap, Rocky, Vince Staples, Freddy Gibbs.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Shout out to Frek.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah, shout out to Freddy, shout out to all of them, like,
- 13:37Speaker 3: it's been a it's been a crazy Kevin Durant, it's
- 13:40Speaker 3: been a it's been a crazy couple of months, k D.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's pretty crazy.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been it's been pretty crazy.
- 13:46Speaker 1: How does Drake like? Do you find out he like?
- 13:48Speaker 1: Does he like something? Does he d Yeah?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he liked one of my posts and followed me
- 13:52Speaker 3: and then and yeah we exchanged that's pretty so yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 13:55Speaker 3: pretty cool.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Who who for you like? Because I feel like that's
- 14:00Speaker 1: got to be kind of like, you know, it's got
- 14:03Speaker 1: to be reassuring, like you've been on this journey for
- 14:04Speaker 1: I mean, I mean you said twenty sixteen, you're starting
- 14:07Speaker 1: to go last ten years ago. Yes, it's a long time.
- 14:09Speaker 2: It's a long time.
- 14:10Speaker 1: That's got to be dope. You just kind of have
- 14:12Speaker 1: like legends kind of reinforced like Okay, we all weren't crazy.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Yes, oh my gosh.
- 14:18Speaker 3: My whole life, I've been like, I'm not crazy, Guys,
- 14:21Speaker 3: I swear like this, like I think this is going
- 14:23Speaker 3: to work. But you know that those are my That's
- 14:27Speaker 3: the air I grew up with in high school. It
- 14:28Speaker 3: was it was Cold, it was Drake, it was Kendrick,
- 14:31Speaker 3: it was Rocky, it was Joey.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Joey's another person who's tapped in throughout this.
- 14:36Speaker 3: So it's cool to see the people who I grew
- 14:41Speaker 3: up listening to and kind of like helped carve my
- 14:43Speaker 3: sound to to see some of them showing love to me.
- 14:46Speaker 3: And that's always been you know, the the Drake package
- 14:51Speaker 3: as they call it, Like when you get the Drake follow,
- 14:53Speaker 3: when you do the drag m it's like it's like okay,
- 14:56Speaker 3: and he's you know the record that he tapped in with,
- 15:00Speaker 3: it's a song on my mixtape called Combs Toyota and
- 15:02Speaker 3: he's definitely influenced you know, my my pen So for
- 15:07Speaker 3: him to for him to fuck with that record was
- 15:09Speaker 3: really dope.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Uh to Toyota is very instrumental with your rollout and
- 15:13Speaker 1: the album cover and the yes I'm a Toyota guy
- 15:16Speaker 1: had player forever shout out the significance of your Toyota.
- 15:20Speaker 3: I've been driving my Toyota since I was fifteen years old.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Is that a higher it's a Highlander, it's a it's
- 15:28Speaker 3: a passed down multiple people, you know, And it's like,
- 15:34Speaker 3: it's my baby, it's my car. It's taken us on
- 15:36Speaker 3: a lot of road trips, journeys. It's the car that
- 15:39Speaker 3: I was driving to my my you know, minimum waige
- 15:44Speaker 3: job at Pizza Shmiza and listening to Born Center on
- 15:47Speaker 3: the way back, like, and it's the car that I
- 15:49Speaker 3: drive now. So I've always said I'm gonna keep it
- 15:53Speaker 3: even it's a total beater, like it might as well
- 15:55Speaker 3: have been totaled at this point, like it's probably only
- 15:58Speaker 3: worth like a rack. But I'm like, I'm gonna keep
- 16:01Speaker 3: driving this car until I literally cannot.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna drive it until it won't allow me
- 16:06Speaker 1: to yes anymore.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Yes, So it's my baby, and I wanted to immortalize
- 16:10Speaker 3: it on the cover, which actually is a good segue.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I brought you a CD.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Oh nice, let's go. We got the heart Hey, I
- 16:17Speaker 1: love the heart of and Pete yup, and then look
- 16:20Speaker 1: at the.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I designed that myself. I'm so sad.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, so I got my Sequoia had the same Toileta
- 16:27Speaker 1: wood grain.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, somebody actually just broke into my car and
- 16:31Speaker 3: ripped out the fucking the little coin pocket on the
- 16:35Speaker 3: front of my wood.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Grains all fucked.
- 16:37Speaker 1: It's about Portland.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like literally three weeks ago. It hurts.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Do you feel like it's it's so weird, Like so
- 16:44Speaker 1: you're from a city that has like become like this
- 16:46Speaker 1: like weird like political tool somehow.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Yeah, very very simple and complex conversation.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I feel like, you know, the protest
- 16:59Speaker 1: at twenty twenty where one thing and actually think like whatever,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Like I think Trump is one of the biggest stooges
- 17:05Speaker 1: in the world, and I feel like Pryce Steven Miller's
- 17:09Speaker 1: evil ass probably showed him like footage from twenty twenty
- 17:11Speaker 1: and was like, look, Portland is on fire, right, but
- 17:15Speaker 1: it's it's got to be, you know, to be from
- 17:17Speaker 1: a place that is kind of like the poster child
- 17:21Speaker 1: of what like the right wing deems everything wrong liberalism. Yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 1: what do you think is like the biggest misconception about
- 17:31Speaker 1: Portland because we always just hear people everyone out there
- 17:34Speaker 1: is do it fed? Oh my god.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I think there's a lot of misconceptions.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I mean, it's not like it's not a singular place,
- 17:43Speaker 3: like there's a lot of different experiences. There's a lot
- 17:46Speaker 3: of black and brown people out there. I mean there's
- 17:48Speaker 3: a community like yeah so, and I think that gets
- 17:51Speaker 3: overlooked a lot. But I think another thing is like,
- 17:55Speaker 3: as far as our politics are seen, like you also
- 17:58Speaker 3: have to keep in mind like it's a it's a
- 18:01Speaker 3: very uh, it's a very white city at the same time,
- 18:06Speaker 3: so when people are it's the kind of city people
- 18:09Speaker 3: say where like you put up a Black Lives Matter
- 18:11Speaker 3: sign in your yard and you push the black people out.
- 18:13Speaker 3: So when people see it as the progressive city, it's
- 18:16Speaker 3: like it's a little more complicated than that because it's
- 18:20Speaker 3: I don't know that it's kind of like a like
- 18:24Speaker 3: a surface level liberalism that it can be that makes sense,
- 18:28Speaker 3: But it's also a city that cares. It's a city
- 18:30Speaker 3: that wants to learn. It's a city that's hungry and
- 18:34Speaker 3: wants to fight for what's right and knows. But there's
- 18:40Speaker 3: not a lot of representation as well. So there's a
- 18:43Speaker 3: lot going in there. It has a very very dark
- 18:45Speaker 3: organ in general, has a very dark history with racism.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Even like like northern organ Idaho and.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Southern I mean there's yes.
- 18:54Speaker 1: North Oregon is fucking it's wild.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Yeah, there's there's some fucked up ship that goes on
- 18:59Speaker 3: in that state. And it's like Oregon, I mean largely
- 19:02Speaker 3: with most of the states or red states, and then
- 19:04Speaker 3: the major cities are blue.
- 19:05Speaker 1: But it's a it's a very unique place to live. Yes, Yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: beautiful place. Beautiful place, one of the most beautiful places.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, Oregon if you could get My
- 19:15Speaker 1: mom used to live there, so oh nice. Yeah. So
- 19:17Speaker 1: she always like, honey, you should just move to Oregon.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Let's get out of this crazy shit.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 3: It's it's a passionate place. It's a passionate place. It's
- 19:25Speaker 3: an artful place. People care a lot. But yeah, I
- 19:29Speaker 3: think there's a lot of like there's a lot of
- 19:31Speaker 3: reparations that need to be done in that city.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Do you feel like the drug legalization or decriminalization is
- 19:40Speaker 1: like been a net positive in that negative I.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Think when that was uh, when that came to be,
- 19:48Speaker 3: I don't think that those resources were in place for people,
- 19:51Speaker 3: Like they decriminalized it, but then they didn't actually provide
- 19:54Speaker 3: any resources, right.
- 19:55Speaker 1: So it's almost like you got to have all your
- 19:56Speaker 1: ducks in a row if you're going to make a
- 19:58Speaker 1: crazy move like that.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Yes, so so I.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Don't feel like I can make a call and whether
- 20:04Speaker 3: or not that was overall and that positive or negative.
- 20:06Speaker 3: But I don't think it was handled well, is what
- 20:10Speaker 3: I would say. I think I don't think there are
- 20:12Speaker 3: enough resources.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Also, people don't realize this Portland has, I want to say,
- 20:16Speaker 1: more strip clubs than any other city per capita.
- 20:19Speaker 2: We do per capita.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Am Yeah, yeah, it's kind of crazy, it is. You
- 20:23Speaker 4: would not think that now you would not.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I want to say, there was like a was there
- 20:27Speaker 1: like a stripper protest recently?
- 20:29Speaker 3: There was, well, there's lots of stripper protests, but they
- 20:32Speaker 3: did just raise like two hundred thousand dollars in like
- 20:34Speaker 3: a toy drive. Was that?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah, they got coffee shops out there where the girls
- 20:38Speaker 1: are serving coffee like damn near naked.
- 20:41Speaker 2: But Kenny Buriss says, yes we do.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I haven't been. I haven't been, yep, But I.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Just deliberating place there's naked bike rides, Like there's some
- 20:50Speaker 3: weird shit going on. I have not partaken in any
- 20:54Speaker 3: naked bike rides, but stay tuned.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Like if you go like like Diamond in the future
- 21:00Speaker 1: to be like, yo, we got this old video of
- 21:02Speaker 1: Win on a naked bike ride protesting.
- 21:07Speaker 2: That would actually be sick, that would.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Be pretty funny. Has because obviously, you know, the biggest
- 21:15Speaker 1: artist out of Portland in recent memory is a mine.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Who's somebody who's you know, done so many big things.
- 21:20Speaker 1: He's got a new Balance deal and has has that
- 21:24Speaker 1: been somebody who's who's like giving you any game? Or Nope? No, no.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I met him once briefly. He came out.
- 21:33Speaker 3: He does a festival outside of Portland in Troutdale, and
- 21:40Speaker 3: so I met him at a party he had there.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Somebody introduced us and we had a brief conversation. But
- 21:45Speaker 3: he's a busy guy, so I'll take it personally.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he's got a lot going on. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: very talented guy. What's it been like? I saw you.
- 21:54Speaker 1: You just said that you closed out the j I
- 21:56Speaker 1: D Tour in Seattle last night.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah that was sick.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, man, I gotta I gotta give a
- 22:02Speaker 3: shout out to Jid because he has been, you know,
- 22:06Speaker 3: showing me love since the beginning of my career. We
- 22:08Speaker 3: had a record, we have a record together called Ego
- 22:10Speaker 3: Check that we dropped in twenty nineteen, and uh, that
- 22:16Speaker 3: was just fire of him to do, you know early
- 22:17Speaker 3: in my career.
- 22:18Speaker 2: He didn't need to do that. He just fucked with
- 22:19Speaker 2: the record and fucked with me.
- 22:21Speaker 3: And so yeah, full circle to be able to close
- 22:23Speaker 3: out that tour with him last night Seattle.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Great crowd. By the way, his fans are always super turned.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Have you listened to the Ja Cole Freestales that came
- 22:30Speaker 1: out yesterday.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I haven't listened to him yet.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Very impressive.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I've seen a couple. I've seen a couple of lyrics from.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Black the fuck Out.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I bet he did.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I mean, my friend Simba sent sent me like Jake
- 22:41Speaker 1: Ole dissby and then he sent it to me and
- 22:43Speaker 1: I was like, hey man, he kind of went.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Crazy, like he dissed him. Shout out to Simba.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yeah, he met. He mentioned Simba on a record and
- 22:51Speaker 1: I was like, He's like, I'm on my way to
- 22:52Speaker 1: the studio. I'm like, yeah, but he went crazy.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah, closing that mode that Moan dis tube track too.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Oh crazy. I mean I want to hear the ship
- 23:06Speaker 1: at the end where he is wrapping over the mob.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Deep shit. Ye drop a gym yet?
- 23:10Speaker 2: Yep, me too.
- 23:11Speaker 1: We got a week.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I can't wait. I thought he was going to drop
- 23:14Speaker 3: something Today's birthday rise twenty eight.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Well he did.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I mean, I guess it was yesterday. Maybe it was midnight.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I guess it technically wasn't at midnight, though, I think
- 23:22Speaker 1: it kind of leaked and he just like was like,
- 23:24Speaker 1: let's let it fly.
- 23:25Speaker 2: That sounds that sounds likely. Yeah, I'm excited. Listen.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Or So are you independent right now? Or what is
- 23:31Speaker 1: your situation?
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:33Speaker 2: I mean, so I've been working with this team.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I have Court my manager, and he we have like
- 23:39Speaker 3: somewhat of a production deal, so he kind of helps
- 23:42Speaker 3: me make things happen on an independent tip. But I'm
- 23:45Speaker 3: not signed to any major. We actually don't even have
- 23:47Speaker 3: distribution right now. Really, yeah, we're just freeballing.
- 23:52Speaker 1: So would you what was your distro through for the tape?
- 23:55Speaker 3: It was like a straight up mixtape mixtape, so we
- 23:58Speaker 3: couldn't release it on DSP so it's on YouTube and
- 24:00Speaker 3: SoundCloud and on my website and on that hard CD.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yo, I'm not gonna lie. There's a lot of rappers
- 24:06Speaker 1: out here getting off wrapping over other people's beats without
- 24:10Speaker 1: getting them cleared and uploading them on District. Kid, I
- 24:12Speaker 1: know I'm scrolling. I'm like yo, Like like my I
- 24:16Speaker 1: won't even say his name. My homie did a whole
- 24:18Speaker 1: freestyle over Westside Connections a bow Down and it has
- 24:21Speaker 1: like six million streams on Spotify. Oh shit, And I'm like, bro,
- 24:25Speaker 1: did you clear this?
- 24:26Speaker 2: He's like no, I'm low Ki, I'm jealous.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, you're gonna get sued. Damn, You're gonna
- 24:32Speaker 1: get hit with the seas.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Our art team is always like, if you get sued,
- 24:35Speaker 3: it's a good thing because then it means that it
- 24:36Speaker 3: got big enough that somebody cares.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I used to say, like Static selected use to tell
- 24:40Speaker 1: me that because Static I would always be like, hey, dude,
- 24:42Speaker 1: like your whole life is like samples, you know, like
- 24:44Speaker 1: you clear all the ship's indy. He's like fuck no,
- 24:46Speaker 1: He's like, if I get sued, it's a good.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Thing, right right right.
- 24:50Speaker 1: He's like that means the ship hits somebody hit the rails.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tough though, because it's not even sampling.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I just took everybody's beats. Yeah, just straight up.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Do you. There's a lot of talk and I've seen
- 25:02Speaker 1: producers use AI in a way that's beneficial to where
- 25:05Speaker 1: like if you need a vocal sample or something you
- 25:08Speaker 1: could chop you could make your own sample through AI
- 25:11Speaker 1: and chop it up that way, you don't have to
- 25:13Speaker 1: worry about clearing shit. Have you figured out like or
- 25:17Speaker 1: used AI in any way creatively?
- 25:19Speaker 3: No, I have no interest in AI, honestly. I mean,
- 25:22Speaker 3: I think there's good uses for it.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I think I think definitely evil.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Yeah, well I think I think I don't think we're
- 25:29Speaker 3: we're we're doing the right thing with it. I think
- 25:31Speaker 3: we're finding all the wrong things to do with it.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I mean, so it's not something.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm Yeah, AI is got.
- 25:37Speaker 3: I mean, I honestly probably should do more research on
- 25:39Speaker 3: it because I know it's coming and I know it's here,
- 25:41Speaker 3: but I'm just like, I'm just still like a little
- 25:42Speaker 3: bit in denial.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Like I don't even use chat GBT.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I just uh, I wrote a diss song from
- 25:49Speaker 1: one of my dogs to the other dog, and so
- 25:54Speaker 1: we were all hanging out, like me and my family
- 25:56Speaker 1: were in line at a Universal Studios for Halloween. And
- 25:59Speaker 1: while we were waiting in line for three fucking hours,
- 26:02Speaker 1: I was like, let me make my kids laughing. Write
- 26:04Speaker 1: this this song Leroy Dison Larry and that's about And
- 26:10Speaker 1: then I like, today is my friend's birthday. And he
- 26:12Speaker 1: posted a picture of himself and then we need a
- 26:14Speaker 1: poo costume at uh in Tokyo at the Tokyo Disneyland,
- 26:17Speaker 1: and he looked ridiculous. So I I made videos of
- 26:22Speaker 1: him catching salmon in the in.
- 26:24Speaker 4: The river like a real beard, and then I posted
- 26:28Speaker 4: them one Oh my god, I.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Gotta show you actually because it's pretty funny.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I feel like I've just I've seen so much.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Oh look this is Marshall. So look this is this
- 26:43Speaker 1: is the only thing is good for is with your friends?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, because this is the original photo he
- 26:49Speaker 1: posted this and like expected his friends.
- 26:52Speaker 2: God, you know that's what I wear when I'm just
- 26:54Speaker 2: like at home.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Have you ever seen The Revenant?
- 26:57Speaker 2: The Revenant with with uh DiCaprio.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Oh yes, I love bears. I mean I don't love
- 27:03Speaker 3: ai like that. That doesn't move me emotionally. Maybe it's
- 27:07Speaker 3: because I don't know your friend.
- 27:08Speaker 1: But no, we did, Like, look at this one I did.
- 27:11Speaker 1: This is just good, good, good case usage. Oh my god,
- 27:16Speaker 1: it's him attacking Leonardo DiCaprio in the Revenue Sare's Revenant
- 27:20Speaker 1: to the bear Head. Enough Leo ship good stuff.
- 27:23Speaker 2: That's it is insane.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I just I need to understand more about the damages
- 27:27Speaker 3: it's having.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Oh it's I mean, it's these data centers. The data
- 27:31Speaker 1: centers are killing people's environment, and the power prices are
- 27:34Speaker 1: increasing and it's tough. And then you got palent here,
- 27:38Speaker 1: which is like the most evil company in the fucking world,
- 27:41Speaker 1: doing some fucked up ship. Yeah yeah, but yeah no, yeah,
- 27:45Speaker 1: don't use AI.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Sorry, I have to.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Is that the sound of Bonics, my Bonx, that's one
- 27:50Speaker 3: of my closest friends. Shout out to Bonyx.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's the Philippines right now. Oh hell yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 1: because Bonis lived in Portland. He helped a long shore
- 28:00Speaker 1: we out there. Yeah. Good guy, Yeah, great guy, great guy.
- 28:03Speaker 2: He's always given me opportunities where you can and stay
- 28:06Speaker 2: tapped in. I got a lot of love for Bonyx.

- 28:34Speaker 1: the Seahawks. But listen, you got to use my bookie.

- 29:21Speaker 1: been on the Suns every time. Let's get back to
- 29:22Speaker 1: the podcast. I saw you did the puff Co festival
- 29:28Speaker 1: with the Alchemists. Were you able to connect with al Yes?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll first showed me love a record I dropped
- 29:34Speaker 3: with my boy Spinach a couple of years ago, called
- 29:36Speaker 3: what would Comb Do? You followed me and shared it,
- 29:39Speaker 3: sent me a DM and then I got to open
- 29:42Speaker 3: it for him at this festival and I went and
- 29:46Speaker 3: dapped him up after and he told me I killed it,
- 29:49Speaker 3: and then got up on stage and shoutowed me out.
- 29:51Speaker 3: So that was said first shout out to win in
- 29:53Speaker 3: the building. In my head, I was like, we're outside,
- 29:55Speaker 3: We're not in a building, but yes, and then he
- 29:59Speaker 3: tweeted that I killed that fire. So I'm still waiting
- 30:02Speaker 3: to get the opportunity to smash one of his beads
- 30:05Speaker 3: because I feel like if he's very he's like a
- 30:10Speaker 3: select thinking about it.
- 30:11Speaker 1: He's a selective dude, that's true. Like I've told him, like, hey,
- 30:14Speaker 1: you should Workpis. I'm pretty close with album, so i'd
- 30:17Speaker 1: be like, should I feel like you could get off
- 30:19Speaker 1: a whole album?
- 30:21Speaker 3: That's like that that would be like my life accomplishment.
- 30:25Speaker 3: I don't think that if I can make like an
- 30:26Speaker 3: album with Alchemists.
- 30:28Speaker 1: We're putting it in the air right now. I'm gonna
- 30:29Speaker 1: clip this. I'm gonna send it to him.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Please do because.
- 30:32Speaker 1: That you're gonna have to go to got to go
- 30:34Speaker 1: to his studio.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I've heard that I need to just like show up
- 30:37Speaker 2: at his door.
- 30:38Speaker 1: That's kind of the thing. Yeah, okay, yeah, like yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 1: you got to go and make it happen.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yes, look, I will do it. That's like I'm I
- 30:46Speaker 3: need some of those beats on my album. I need
- 30:48Speaker 3: to make it happen for you. I want to kind
- 30:52Speaker 3: of dig into your taste a little. We already talked
- 30:54Speaker 3: about the cool but all time, what are some of
- 30:55Speaker 3: your favorite hip hop albums?
- 30:56Speaker 1: Give me like three or four.
- 30:58Speaker 3: I have to go with the Print, Okay, I'd have
- 31:01Speaker 3: to go with Get Richard I try, and I'd probably
- 31:05Speaker 3: go with you know, it's interesting because I'm about to
- 31:08Speaker 3: say good Kid, Mad City, But I don't even think
- 31:11Speaker 3: it's my favorite Kendrick album.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I actually agree with you.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Okay, Nice, I think my favorite Kendrick album is probably
- 31:18Speaker 3: to Pimp but Butterfly mine too.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Nice.
- 31:22Speaker 3: I would have to throw are we counting like Miseducation
- 31:25Speaker 3: or is that like an R and B album?
- 31:27Speaker 2: I would count it.
- 31:27Speaker 3: I would put that up there. I would probably put
- 31:32Speaker 3: like graduation for me, I would.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Put I'm so hard on graduation. Yeah, it might be
- 31:40Speaker 1: just like that one of my Wow, interesting, I know
- 31:43Speaker 1: I'm in the minority there. That was like, I think
- 31:48Speaker 1: it's awesome. By the way, it's a classic, incredible, it's
- 31:51Speaker 1: a classic. Yeah, I just have it like fifth.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Okay, what do you have? What?
- 31:56Speaker 1: What's your I got? Yes? Is higher? Okay, okay, use
- 32:00Speaker 1: this is great like us. This to me is like
- 32:03Speaker 1: quietly up there. I think my favor my favorite is
- 32:06Speaker 1: Late Registration, but I think the best is kind of
- 32:08Speaker 1: like the Kendrick thing. You said, the best album is
- 32:10Speaker 1: my beautiful Arktorics of Fantasy, but my favorite is Late Registration.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Nice, Okay, I fun with that late Registration is obviously classic.
- 32:18Speaker 2: That's album.
- 32:19Speaker 1: And then and then I got, I got, I got
- 32:20Speaker 1: color drop out above it, and I h I don't know, man,
- 32:25Speaker 1: graduation is good, but I just I don't know. I might.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I might have the Life of Pablo above graduation. Mmmm,
- 32:35Speaker 1: I might. Mm hmmm. I'll tell you which one I
- 32:37Speaker 1: listen to more right now?
- 32:39Speaker 2: Interesting?
- 32:40Speaker 3: And graduation for me is like that's that helped like
- 32:44Speaker 3: craft my.
- 32:45Speaker 5: Take, it was really hot, I was super hot. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 5: it's hot, trust me, this is what it is. Yeah, No,
- 32:55Speaker 5: I think I think Kendrick's Butterfly Fillmatic.
- 32:59Speaker 2: But yes, but Butterfly.
- 33:00Speaker 1: What about What do you think is the last album
- 33:02Speaker 1: that's coming out that's a classic in your opinion? Oh?
- 33:05Speaker 3: Man, I feel like that's an unfair question because the
- 33:08Speaker 3: classic is like decided by time, do you.
- 33:11Speaker 2: I don't know what's classic to me yet? Let me think.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I mean I probably gn.
- 33:18Speaker 5: X, g X.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Yeah, gen X's there's an argument to be made that
- 33:23Speaker 1: gn X is like the most palatable Kendrick album ever.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I think there. I think there's an argument there.
- 33:28Speaker 1: The only song that skips for me is the title track.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 33:32Speaker 1: It's the only record I skip. Yeah, yeah, I just.
- 33:34Speaker 3: I kind of yeah, but I like it. But but
- 33:37Speaker 3: I hear you it's a great album.
- 33:39Speaker 1: It's funny because it's like I think before I think
- 33:43Speaker 1: gn X is a classic, but I think before that
- 33:45Speaker 1: it was like a why I think the last album
- 33:47Speaker 1: I really was like this is was Alfred of the
- 33:49Speaker 1: First Off.
- 33:51Speaker 2: So that is another classic. Yeah, damn it.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Gibbs has so many classic albums it's like unfair, and
- 33:57Speaker 1: no one talks about it like they should. Yes, so
- 34:00Speaker 1: a fucking big bald asshole. So if you come to
- 34:02Speaker 1: my birthday night, you'll meet him. He'll be When does
- 34:05Speaker 1: this air? Next week?
- 34:08Speaker 3: I'm going on tour with Freddy. I'm playing a couple
- 34:10Speaker 3: of shows with Have you met him yet? I met
- 34:12Speaker 3: him once he was we were faded out.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I mean yeah yeah, yeah, oh well that's awesome.
- 34:18Speaker 2: But I don't know if he knew I was at
- 34:20Speaker 2: the time.
- 34:21Speaker 1: The Flyers today, for real, are you doing?
- 34:23Speaker 2: I'm doing Manchester in London with him in Redvelle.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. He literally just texts the Flyers today because
- 34:30Speaker 1: let me see.
- 34:31Speaker 2: I don't I don't I think when I met him, Yes, yeah, the.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Last Rabbit tour breaking news. Yes, you could see him
- 34:41Speaker 1: overseas and domestically.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Yes.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 2: When I when I first met him, I just came
- 34:46Speaker 2: up to him as a fan.
- 34:47Speaker 3: This was only two years ago, but I just ran
- 34:49Speaker 3: into him and I was like, I'm a huge fan,
- 34:51Speaker 3: and I don't.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Think he knew who I was, but he tapped in
- 34:53Speaker 2: with me on this mixtape.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Incredible guy, Yeah, incredible.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I'm soaked. I'm these are gonna be my first shows
- 34:59Speaker 2: a broad So I'm like.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Where you're going to Manchester?
- 35:03Speaker 2: You said Manchester in London.
- 35:04Speaker 1: That's sick. It's going to be what uh what kind
- 35:07Speaker 1: of white are you? If you don't my masking? Are
- 35:09Speaker 1: you like English? German, Irish? I'm Scandinavian, Scannonavian?
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what about you?
- 35:14Speaker 1: Just fucking German Irish?
- 35:17Speaker 2: You look a little Polish or something.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I wish because I would love to be able to
- 35:21Speaker 1: call people polock and just let it let it fly,
- 35:24Speaker 1: you know, like, no, I'm Polish, I'm not. I can't
- 35:26Speaker 1: get the polock off. I mean I just did twice
- 35:28Speaker 1: in an interview, but no, I feel like, uh yeah, Irish, German, English? Yeah,
- 35:35Speaker 1: and then if you let my parents tell you like
- 35:36Speaker 1: native American, Like every white people in the world are like, no,
- 35:40Speaker 1: we got native in US.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Oh I got none of that.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Yeah. All the white people I know swear they have
- 35:45Speaker 1: like no, I'm part Native. Oh my god, tell my parents.
- 35:49Speaker 1: I'm like, Yeo, there's fucking no way.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Yeah. No, I'm I'm pretty Swedish, and I'm pretty Danish,
- 35:55Speaker 3: and I'm pretty Dutch.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Shout out to the Dutch.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Shout out to the Dutch.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Nice. What was like life for you because your parents
- 36:01Speaker 1: they were pretty supportive of this dream of you.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Were they like did they like help you
- 36:06Speaker 1: get like any equipment or studio time back in the
- 36:08Speaker 1: day or no.
- 36:09Speaker 3: My parents, like, I mean, I think anything when you're like,
- 36:13Speaker 3: you know, when you're like a nine year old white
- 36:15Speaker 3: blonde girl growing up in the suburbs and you're like,
- 36:17Speaker 3: I'm going to be a rapper, They're like yeah.
- 36:21Speaker 2: But they were definitely supportive.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Like I remember my dad came with me to one
- 36:27Speaker 3: of my first like in person ciphers.
- 36:28Speaker 2: It was in La. It was first. I used to
- 36:30Speaker 2: do team Backpack.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Oh, Team backpack used to go crazy? Yes, and I
- 36:34Speaker 1: Jared Benton and Joel or Tea, Yes, Chris River Chris
- 36:39Speaker 1: very futuristic.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Oswin Benjamin Alien.
- 36:43Speaker 3: By the way, Yes, there was some freaks going off
- 36:47Speaker 3: at Team Backpack Ciphers and I was trying to get
- 36:49Speaker 3: onto like an official cipher. So they had a competition
- 36:53Speaker 3: and it was like whatever, a couple thousand submissions and
- 36:56Speaker 3: they picked five hundred of us and we got to
- 36:59Speaker 3: go out and compete live, and I ended up making
- 37:01Speaker 3: like the top twenty.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Wow.
- 37:03Speaker 3: And my dad came with me to that because I
- 37:05Speaker 3: was a kid. But my mom brought me to my
- 37:09Speaker 3: first studio session in Portland.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Did she hang?
- 37:12Speaker 2: She hung? She kicked it. My mom was at the
- 37:14Speaker 2: show last night in the pit.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Oh that's fire, like I because I didn't see her
- 37:18Speaker 3: before the show and then afterwards, I was like, where
- 37:19Speaker 3: were you seeing? She was like I was, I was
- 37:21Speaker 3: like fourth row with all like the young dudes. She's like,
- 37:24Speaker 3: I know they were looking at me crazy, but I'm
- 37:26Speaker 3: like they probably could see that were related.
- 37:28Speaker 2: I looked just like my mom.
- 37:29Speaker 1: That's awesome. Yeah, they got to be super proud of you.
- 37:31Speaker 2: They're super proud of me.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:33Speaker 3: I mean I hear it from my mom like pretty
- 37:35Speaker 3: much every day. And but I do remember when I
- 37:38Speaker 3: was a kid. If I was like being an asshole,
- 37:41Speaker 3: which was pretty rare because I was a good kid,
- 37:43Speaker 3: she would take my song book and that was because
- 37:49Speaker 3: that was that was my punishment, was like I'm going
- 37:51Speaker 3: to take your your lyric book from you.
- 37:54Speaker 1: And we would get into like fights about it because
- 37:56Speaker 1: I would be.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Like, you can't take that.
- 37:57Speaker 1: They'd be like when, yeah, like when you see it's
- 38:00Speaker 1: crashing out about like parents taking away their game.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 38:04Speaker 1: She would take my songbook, not the song book. Do
- 38:07Speaker 1: you still have all those like old books?
- 38:09Speaker 2: I do, yep, I still have them all now.
- 38:10Speaker 3: I write in my notes like everybody, but yep, I
- 38:14Speaker 3: used to handwrite everything.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Those things would be I mean, you're in a great trajectory.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I'm sure those things are some money.
- 38:19Speaker 2: One day, I'll never see them.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Put them in like a museum.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Maybe, yeah, I could do that. They're cool.
- 38:24Speaker 3: They have collages of like you know, run DMC and
- 38:29Speaker 3: LL cool J and Mob Deep and shit all over
- 38:31Speaker 3: the front.
- 38:32Speaker 2: They've got went off on them.
- 38:35Speaker 1: So you are obviously the mixtape spin out. What's the
- 38:38Speaker 1: deal with this album? Are you trying to find a
- 38:40Speaker 1: home for it? First?
- 38:42Speaker 2: I don't think I'm trying to find a home for
- 38:43Speaker 2: it first.
- 38:44Speaker 3: I'm my plan is to do what I do, and
- 38:46Speaker 3: if somebody can offer help or support in a way
- 38:50Speaker 3: that I find valuable and necessary, I'll bring them on
- 38:53Speaker 3: to the team. But I'm not going to wait for anybody.
- 38:58Speaker 3: I am working on the album really hard. I'm diving
- 39:01Speaker 3: back into it now that the mixtape run is kind
- 39:04Speaker 3: of wrapping up, and I would love to get it
- 39:08Speaker 3: out by the fall.
- 39:09Speaker 2: I'm feeling really excited about it.
- 39:11Speaker 3: It's like, I feel like I've got a lot of clarity,
- 39:13Speaker 3: especially off the back of the mixtape on like my
- 39:16Speaker 3: voice and my pen and my perspective and what I
- 39:19Speaker 3: have to offer, and everything's so convoluted right now, like
- 39:24Speaker 3: just how many people are putting out music, how many
- 39:26Speaker 3: people are saying what, Like it's so busy, and so
- 39:30Speaker 3: I just want to make sure that if I'm contributing,
- 39:32Speaker 3: I'm contributing something meaningful and something that you know, feels
- 39:38Speaker 3: timeless in like a perspective way, like I want to
- 39:40Speaker 3: talk about someone else.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Shit. Is there like a theme?
- 39:43Speaker 3: I can't say there's like a cohesive theme at this point,
- 39:46Speaker 3: but there's but it's you know, it's my life right now.
- 39:50Speaker 2: It's my life right now.
- 39:51Speaker 1: This has to be the most like pressure you've ever felt,
- 39:53Speaker 1: because everyone's watching.
- 39:54Speaker 2: You right now, I know, and I feel pretty calm
- 39:58Speaker 2: about it. I feel pretty like I do.
- 40:01Speaker 3: I do feel the pressure, but I'm like, I have
- 40:03Speaker 3: been doing this for so long and gotten up so
- 40:06Speaker 3: high and falling off so quickly that I don't have
- 40:10Speaker 3: expectations anymore.
- 40:12Speaker 2: I'm just like I've learned to.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Trust myself and trust my skill and not and like
- 40:16Speaker 3: and like be stubborn about it, you know, like not
- 40:19Speaker 3: feel like I need to make this kind of record
- 40:22Speaker 3: to make this work. Like so I feel I feel
- 40:26Speaker 3: calm and ready.
- 40:27Speaker 1: You gotta got bombs, say, but the fact I've better
- 40:29Speaker 1: start rapping it. Eminem. How many times have you heard
- 40:33Speaker 1: that you're the girl version of Eminem? Oh, it's got
- 40:36Speaker 1: to be more than once.
- 40:37Speaker 2: I could.
- 40:37Speaker 3: I could buy the Nike headquarters. I could buy the
- 40:42Speaker 3: Nike headquarters with pennies.
- 40:44Speaker 1: With penny that's crazy, have you been? I mean you
- 40:48Speaker 1: probably that's the coolest thing I feel like about growing
- 40:50Speaker 1: up in Portland. I'm sure you probably got a past
- 40:53Speaker 1: a Nike at this point.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, is as abundant.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Is the employee store as cool as every because I've
- 40:59Speaker 1: never been. I'm a sneaker head and I always feel
- 41:00Speaker 1: like I just want to go with the empty suitcase.
- 41:04Speaker 3: It depends what you're looking for, Like, if you're looking
- 41:06Speaker 3: for some kind of like unique, exclusive ship, like, that's
- 41:10Speaker 3: not your place to find it. But what they have
- 41:12Speaker 3: to offer you is like fat discounts, So you get things.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Fat discounts on like running shoes, and yeah.
- 41:18Speaker 3: You'll then you'll go crazy and they got good ship.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Like but you know, maybe maybe I'm just jaded because
- 41:23Speaker 3: we grew up with it, but you get you're you're
- 41:25Speaker 3: a Duck fan, big duck fan.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Are you happy that your quarterback state is staying one
- 41:30Speaker 1: more year?
- 41:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 41:32Speaker 1: What's his name?
- 41:33Speaker 5: More?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Is that his name? Bruh? What's his name? I don't know.
- 41:36Speaker 1: There were some of the Cardinals were supposed to draft
- 41:37Speaker 1: him and then he decided to recommit and I was like, fuck,
- 41:40Speaker 1: I'm a Cardinal fan. Oh yeah, So are you an
- 41:42Speaker 1: NFL fan at all?
- 41:43Speaker 2: Not really?
- 41:45Speaker 3: I mean I'm from like I have a football family. Yeah,
- 41:48Speaker 3: shout out of the Seahawks.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Is that is that their their team? Your Portland like
- 41:52Speaker 1: your family's team?
- 41:53Speaker 2: No, we don't have an NFL team like that.
- 41:55Speaker 3: We So my grandfather was a football coach, okay, and
- 41:58Speaker 3: so he coached. He coached at the Ducks for a
- 42:01Speaker 3: long time, like eighteen years.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Oh that's fire.
- 42:03Speaker 2: He's like an Oregon legend.
- 42:05Speaker 3: And so he was kind of one of the people
- 42:08Speaker 3: who kind of rekindled the Phil Knight relationship back in
- 42:12Speaker 3: the nineties. Took him to the time in the Rose Bowl,
- 42:15Speaker 3: and so grew up big Duck fans. And then he
- 42:18Speaker 3: went he coached with the Falcons for a little while
- 42:20Speaker 3: with the Rams when they were in Saint Louis, and
- 42:22Speaker 3: then when I was growing.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Up, he was at the University of Kentucky.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, your grandpa's a g.
- 42:27Speaker 2: He is a fire. I love my grandpa.
- 42:29Speaker 1: So you just root for every team like he's like coaching.
- 42:32Speaker 3: For any any team he was coaching for. I mean
- 42:35Speaker 3: we were living on the couch every Saturday for game day.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Was he like a coordinator or head coach?
- 42:40Speaker 2: He was head coach. Well, it changed positions.
- 42:42Speaker 3: So when he was at Atlanta he was a defensive coordinator,
- 42:45Speaker 3: and but at Oregon he was head coach. At Saint Louis,
- 42:49Speaker 3: I believe he was the head coach. What's his name,
- 42:51Speaker 3: Rich Brooks?
- 42:52Speaker 1: Oh shit, I know that's your grandpa.
- 42:54Speaker 2: That's my grandpa.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Oh that's sick.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a and he's just a great dude, Like
- 42:58Speaker 3: he's the best. Yeah, super proud of him.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Shout out to your family man for holding you down
- 43:03Speaker 1: because like when you were a little kid, like trying
- 43:06Speaker 1: to get grandpa and understand that you wanted to be
- 43:08Speaker 1: a rapper. Did he get it?
- 43:09Speaker 3: I mean, I don't even think I mean he gets it,
- 43:13Speaker 3: like he I don't think he really liked bats and eye.
- 43:16Speaker 2: I mean, he loves me. He's just like, you know,
- 43:18Speaker 2: go crazy, do your thing.
- 43:20Speaker 3: And we just have a battle about who has more
- 43:22Speaker 3: Twitter followers and I'm finally surpassing beat but they yep,
- 43:25Speaker 3: I just beat him recently, recently, but he was beating
- 43:28Speaker 3: me for a long time. He's got a good Twitter.
- 43:30Speaker 3: He posts like his tomato plants and shit, that's awesome.
- 43:33Speaker 2: It's awesome. Yeah.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Hey, we got to wrap up this interview another one
- 43:36Speaker 1: presented by Hardean. Baby you already know what it is.

- 45:35Speaker 3: and I think I mean, I'm just I'm very much
- 45:37Speaker 3: like a Pacific Northwest kid. Like my family's out there.
- 45:40Speaker 3: The nature is like that's who I am. That keeps
- 45:44Speaker 3: me grounded. And I'm lucky enough to have a team.
- 45:47Speaker 2: When we go back to the.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Trust and the belief where like everyone's being in that
- 45:50Speaker 3: scene is very important to me. And just like staying home,
- 45:54Speaker 3: staying with my friends, with my family, and uh, I
- 45:58Speaker 3: just don't want to be out like that. I'm just
- 46:00Speaker 3: really like I'm not a social person.
- 46:02Speaker 1: So your hobbies outside of being an incredible MC thank.
- 46:07Speaker 2: You, I'm really big in a natural history.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Like what's what what's natural history?
- 46:13Speaker 2: Like the history of the history of like planet Earth.
- 46:16Speaker 1: And like also like caveman and like yeah.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Like like evolution and dinosaurs and megafauna, like the different
- 46:25Speaker 3: as you got fossil yep, I fuck with fossils, Like
- 46:28Speaker 3: I have some ammonites.
- 46:31Speaker 2: They're just you know that's hundreds of millions of years old.
- 46:34Speaker 2: It's just sick.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Wow.
- 46:36Speaker 2: But and they're they're beautiful.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Younosaur.

- 46:54Speaker 3: have kind of like a their back is kind of
- 46:59Speaker 3: speky like that like a like a like a like
- 47:01Speaker 3: a more of like a vicious large turtle kind of
- 47:04Speaker 3: a thing.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Were you in school, like you were the dinosaur kid
- 47:07Speaker 1: in school, because we had those, not at all.
- 47:09Speaker 2: This was actually a more recent thing for me.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Well, I had gone through a bad breakup so random,
- 47:15Speaker 3: like years ago, and I just needed a distraction. And
- 47:18Speaker 3: I've always been interested. I've always loved animals. Yeah, but
- 47:22Speaker 3: when you're going through a breakup, a great way to
- 47:24Speaker 3: cope is by reading, because you have to like focus
- 47:27Speaker 3: on the words. So I was reading like a book
- 47:30Speaker 3: a day, and I got really into like the place
- 47:33Speaker 3: to scene, which we know is like the ice Age,
- 47:36Speaker 3: which there are actually no dinosaurs, and that's that's what
- 47:38Speaker 3: we're talking MegaFon.
- 47:39Speaker 2: We're talking wooly mammus.
- 47:40Speaker 3: We're talking saber tooth tigers, giant ground sloths and people.
- 47:46Speaker 1: People. Yeah, people were in the ice Age. Oh yeah, wow,
- 47:50Speaker 1: I just know about the movie Ice Age with the
- 47:53Speaker 1: little movie the Little b Who's chasing his nut.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Movie, Yeah, the Little Squirrel.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Yeah, and uh and then what was the Cave The
- 48:00Speaker 1: Cruds was a good cave man movie.
- 48:02Speaker 2: I have seen The Cruds. Yeah, that's a good cave man.
- 48:04Speaker 1: That's an interesting chat to the natural history.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it's fascinating. I think it helps me.
- 48:11Speaker 2: I think the knowledge has helped me have a lot
- 48:13Speaker 2: of respect for the planet.
- 48:14Speaker 1: I got to feel any people in five years when
- 48:16Speaker 1: you have like a number one record and I'm like, hey,
- 48:18Speaker 1: what's the stupidest thing you've bought? You're gonna be I bought.
- 48:20Speaker 2: I bought t rex skull. I'm telling I plan on
- 48:24Speaker 2: having like a fossil room where I have ship like displayed.
- 48:28Speaker 2: That's I'm being so serious.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Hey, Jordan, that's pretty awesome.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Shout out to the dinosaur that What what about TV?
- 48:35Speaker 1: Do you watch? To do binge? Watching any TV?

- 48:40Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, what season are you on?
- 48:43Speaker 2: I just finished season four?
- 48:45Speaker 1: Oh that shit is fire.
- 48:46Speaker 2: It's fire, and I didn't it's.
- 48:49Speaker 1: About to by the way, you're about to the disappointments
- 48:51Speaker 1: about the kick in real fucking soon. Just so you know,
- 48:53Speaker 1: I know, I know, it's fine. It's fine, it's fine.
- 48:56Speaker 1: But that's what I like about it. They don't give
- 48:58Speaker 1: a fuck about how I feel. No, No, they definitely don't.
- 49:00Speaker 1: And I with that, you're gonna find out just how
- 49:03Speaker 1: much they don't give a fuck about how you feel.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Right at the end, you'll be like, what the fuck
- 49:06Speaker 1: are we doing here?

- 49:23Speaker 1: because I have it's been don't spoil anything. Okay, the
- 49:27Speaker 1: episode where they throw stuff and shame the lady while

- 49:32Speaker 2: No, I don't think i've seen that.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Okay, is the Red Wedding?
- 49:37Speaker 2: I saw that. I saw that.
- 49:41Speaker 1: That's episode that was tough. Such a good show. They
- 49:47Speaker 1: have like spinoffs that I haven't even gotten into, like
- 49:49Speaker 1: My Kid House, the Dragons and a new one that
- 49:52Speaker 1: just came out.
- 49:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm excited to get into it. It took me
- 49:55Speaker 3: a little while to warm up too, because you know,
- 49:57Speaker 3: it's like, it's a pretty intense.
- 49:59Speaker 1: I rewatched the first twenty minutes of that show like
- 50:02Speaker 1: twenty times before I got past it.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Yes, seriously, I just.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Kept restarting because I'm not really into like that era
- 50:09Speaker 1: of shit to me either. I'm like, dude, I want
- 50:11Speaker 1: to watch like Breaking Bad or some shit exactly.
- 50:13Speaker 2: That's how I think, I.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Don't want to watch this fucking like medieval bullshit exactly.
- 50:17Speaker 1: But then when you're then you're in it, and you're like, okay,
- 50:20Speaker 1: And then when they killed in the first like, uh,
- 50:23Speaker 1: what's the BRA's name? The main dude? You think he's
- 50:26Speaker 1: the main character and then he dies? No, no, no,
- 50:31Speaker 1: the first season, I'm like, yo, killed this motherfucker me.
- 50:36Speaker 2: There were a couple of bad deaths in that first
- 50:37Speaker 2: bunch of ancests.
- 50:39Speaker 3: I know, well that first episode there's some graphic like assault,
- 50:43Speaker 3: and I was just like, I cannot watch this show.
- 50:45Speaker 2: If this is gonna be a thing, I can't like
- 50:47Speaker 2: watch this.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm more like, I just I love that show.
- 50:49Speaker 1: It's one of my favorite shows. It's one of the
- 50:51Speaker 1: greatest shows of all time. Yeah, but Breaking badest the Wires.
- 50:54Speaker 3: My shit, I haven't seen The Wire yet. That's on
- 50:56Speaker 3: my list, But Breaking Bad.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I heard better, call Saws better, but I just I haven't.
- 51:02Speaker 2: That's another one. You got to give it a season
- 51:04Speaker 2: or two.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Yo. I've watched the first three episodes of Better Call Saul,
- 51:08Speaker 1: maybe five to six times. I just restarted.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Yeah, keep going, I'm telling you keep going. Yes, the writing,
- 51:14Speaker 3: it's a very different kind of show. So if you're
- 51:15Speaker 3: looking for the action of breaking bad, that's not necessarily
- 51:19Speaker 3: what you're gonna get with Better Call Saw, but you
- 51:20Speaker 3: get you get validated in a different way.
- 51:23Speaker 1: The last show I finished was a there's just something
- 51:26Speaker 1: about like I like Billy Bob Thorton smoking cigarettes and
- 51:29Speaker 1: yelling at his wife. The show land Man.
- 51:31Speaker 2: I haven't sand it.
- 51:32Speaker 1: It's like it's it's not the greatest show, but it's
- 51:35Speaker 1: just like a comfort watch, like you just throw it
- 51:37Speaker 1: on and this fool is like driving six hours from
- 51:40Speaker 1: Odessa to Dallas and like cussing out people on his phone.
- 51:44Speaker 2: My comfort show's more like Sex in the City.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Solid.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:48Speaker 1: My son's name is Aiden, oh nice, which it wasn't
- 51:51Speaker 1: on purpose. Yeah, but around the time that that show
- 51:54Speaker 1: was popping, my kid's twenty one. So around the time
- 51:57Speaker 1: that show was popping, I didn't know Aiden was a
- 52:01Speaker 1: fucking dude on the fucking show.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Yeah damn, yeah, Yeah, that's a popular name.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Enthusiasm that's also great show. That's another comfort show all time.
- 52:11Speaker 1: You know what sucks there was like when like people
- 52:13Speaker 1: you love like if Seinfeld used to be one of
- 52:16Speaker 1: my favorite shows. Sign was a piece of ship shouts
- 52:18Speaker 1: to him.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I never got I never got into that, so
- 52:21Speaker 2: I can.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Great show, but but horrible guy. Just okay with the
- 52:26Speaker 1: genocide ship you well you're are you selling these?

- 53:52Speaker 2: Damn.
- 53:53Speaker 1: She's like from Japan, but she's very like she was
- 53:56Speaker 1: like married to like a black Israelite like five percent
- 54:00Speaker 1: center and like dude ended up passing away. She's got
- 54:02Speaker 1: crazy ass story. You talked to her, so she sounds
