- 2:25Speaker 2: how bad this was going to be until I started
- 2:27Speaker 2: researching it, and then I was just like, oh boy,
- 2:30Speaker 2: oh boy. I've read a lot of disturbing things, but this,
- 2:33Speaker 2: this is my actually take the cake on that. So
- 2:37Speaker 2: I hope you all brought your bark bags tonight because
- 2:41Speaker 2: you're going to need them. It's it's it's gross, it's great.

- 3:04Speaker 2: I hope you're ready you're supposed to bring me a surprise.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Scared, don't look don't look scared scared, I mean you
- 3:17Speaker 1: should be narciss.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Gotch friends unit Babe, tell him he's ruining the surprise
- 3:30Speaker 2: where he's on the phone. No, that's my little mama.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Good timing because I didn't even know they left. But
- 3:38Speaker 2: you're supposed to have a surprise for me. Okay, Oh
- 3:41Speaker 2: she said later, she said right now? Now she said no,
- 3:45Speaker 2: she said now, but I didn't even know they snuck
- 3:50Speaker 2: off to get food.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Can I tell you why can't men just do what
- 3:54Speaker 1: they're told?
- 3:56Speaker 2: I know, I mean, helloe tell you. Welcome to my life.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It's like this all the timely thing. He's lucky, he
- 4:06Speaker 2: is so pretty. Oh cheese, oh cheese. Oh. I don't
- 4:11Speaker 2: even know if it's going to show up on my
- 4:12Speaker 2: green screen, but it's oil. I thought you could do that.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It was going to have to be something I had
- 4:22Speaker 2: to eat. And I was like, oh god, oh no,
- 4:24Speaker 2: there's one more thing. Oh there's one more thing. Oh
- 4:31Speaker 2: you know, I don't think it's edible. There's one more thing. Yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 2: oh there should be too, there should be two things.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Oh no, I think after that whole day thing. You
- 4:44Speaker 2: have to sign another thing. It's so stupid. Oh what's this?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Fourteen hands winery, Hot to Trot, smooth blend. Oh my goodness,
- 5:00Speaker 2: thank you baby oil.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Just think.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Think of the case tonight. Oh gosh, you drink it?
- 5:11Speaker 2: Oh boy, uh no, because I've already poured a big
- 5:14Speaker 2: why already?
- 5:15Speaker 1: I don't think that with this, do not drink the
- 5:18Speaker 1: Baby'll trust for you and al.
- 5:23Speaker 2: To do whatever you want to do it. Okay, I'm
- 5:26Speaker 2: sure Mama Lama is super excited to hear about that.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Everybody's probably like, oh, what is this weird thing? Well,
- 5:34Speaker 2: if you don't know, then you have not watched my
- 5:36Speaker 2: diddy updates the last couple of days. Because there's a
- 5:40Speaker 2: lot of baby oil and you guys, well, thank you
- 5:43Speaker 2: so much, Terry. I thought, if we're.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Going to talk about your you know, your little special
- 5:49Speaker 1: you're doing that, you should have a prop to go
- 5:52Speaker 1: with it. It makes it much more fun to talk
- 5:56Speaker 1: about the baby.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, well, thank you, thank you so much.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Hand that you can drink that when you're needing to
- 6:04Speaker 1: think about this case with all the hands, so much
- 6:07Speaker 1: hands and hands.
- 6:11Speaker 2: But I decided to wait checking for tics. Oh yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 2: it is good for checking tics.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It is because it mothers theme and so back out
- 6:21Speaker 1: so that you can grab them easier.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Really okay, then not see it being better because with
- 6:26Speaker 2: elbow beats new job, he's outside a lot and ticks
- 6:28Speaker 2: are really bad this season, he said, I have to
- 6:31Speaker 2: check him every day when he comes home. That's why
- 6:33Speaker 2: on couch Cord with Lama, I'll disappear for a few
- 6:36Speaker 2: minutes around three three thirty because I had to do
- 6:39Speaker 2: tick duty. Is that what the kids are calling it
- 6:41Speaker 2: these days? Tick duty? Yeah? Check it for tics? Look,
- 6:46Speaker 2: I know, thank you.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Oh, but I am drinking good old Kim Crawford seven
- 6:55Speaker 1: blanc because I'll be honest, I didn't want to open
- 6:59Speaker 1: something else I might throw it up, and I do
- 7:02Speaker 1: have a trash cano here. Oh, because this case disturbs
- 7:06Speaker 1: me a little bit or.
- 7:09Speaker 2: A lot of this. What are you drinking tonight? Well, tonight,
- 7:13Speaker 2: I'm drinking my usual Yosemite Road mescato, but I paired
- 7:19Speaker 2: it with one of my other favorite drinks. It's not
- 7:22Speaker 2: an alcoholic, but it's Izzy's sparkling BlackBerry. I don't know
- 7:29Speaker 2: what I want to call it, but hasberry right here?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Oh that that's great. I love Izzy. They're not a sponsor,
- 7:38Speaker 2: but if they want to sponsor us, you would make
- 7:41Speaker 2: me so happy. All right, I will literally talk about
- 7:45Speaker 2: it all of the time. Izzy. If you want to
- 7:47Speaker 2: sponsor the True Criminal Mind ten people. Yes, out to
- 7:51Speaker 2: our producer Lama. She's great. That's me. She's great. I hear,
- 7:55Speaker 2: she's fantastic.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Now tonight, guys, we are going to talk about the deeply,
- 8:04Speaker 1: deeply unsettling story of Karen Greenley, also known as the
- 8:10Speaker 1: best known modern practitioner of necrophilia.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Now, gross, I think I'm going.
- 8:20Speaker 1: To throw out the trigger warning now and we'll put
- 8:23Speaker 1: the banner up. Night's episode will have many sexually deviant themes,
- 8:28Speaker 1: as well as talk about suicidal ideation. So this may
- 8:33Speaker 1: not be for everyone. And if it's not, that is okay,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I totally get it. We will see you next time, Okay, Yes,
- 8:43Speaker 1: Because if I didn't love Lama so much, I would
- 8:49Speaker 1: hit her for this case. I mean, JT picked some
- 8:53Speaker 1: dark cases, but this is beyond dark, okay. Thing Now,
- 9:00Speaker 1: there really isn't much to know about Karen's early life,
- 9:03Speaker 1: or really much about our adult one for that matter.
- 9:06Speaker 1: We do know she was born in nineteen fifty eight,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and she was one of three siblings. Okay, now, her father,
- 9:13Speaker 1: Al Myers, described her as a lovable little girl. He also,
- 9:21Speaker 1: do I hear is that her dad talking with.
- 9:24Speaker 2: No, it's people that forget that. I'm live on YouTube
- 9:26Speaker 2: right now having conversations in the hallway. Okay, that's okay,
- 9:31Speaker 2: what happens now.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Her dad also said in an interview that she had
- 9:36Speaker 1: been sexually abused at the age of eight and was
- 9:40Speaker 1: then raped by a teacher at the age of fourteen.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I mean yeah, And afterwards the family relocated from Sonoma County,
- 9:50Speaker 1: California to Califax, California. Some think and they were trying
- 9:54Speaker 1: to get away from that, which I think is a
- 9:56Speaker 1: good thing. But somewhere between graduating high schoo and her
- 10:01Speaker 1: arrest a few years later, Karen did get married, okay, though.
- 10:06Speaker 2: It didn't seem that at last.
- 10:09Speaker 1: However, she did not get divorced. She was separated from
- 10:12Speaker 1: her husband and by December nineteen seventy nine, when I
- 10:17Speaker 1: was nine years old, she was living in an apartment
- 10:20Speaker 1: above Sacramento Memorial Lawn Mortuary in Sacramento, California. And guys,
- 10:27Speaker 1: she worked as an apprentice in Balmer.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Oh, yay, yay. I'm going to just say, yeah, okay,
- 10:39Speaker 2: she's hugging that caskeet a little uncomfortably for me, just
- 10:44Speaker 2: uncomfortable for what we were about to.
- 10:47Speaker 1: In the very early mornings of December seventeenth, nineteen seventy nine,
- 10:53Speaker 1: she was twenty one years old, she told a fellow
- 10:56Speaker 1: coworker that she was going to pick up a body.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Except instead of taking the vehicle normally use for such
- 11:03Speaker 1: a task, she took the nineteen seventy five Cadillac hearse. Okay,
- 11:09Speaker 1: that in itself is creepy.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:12Speaker 1: In that hearse was the body of thirty three year
- 11:15Speaker 1: old John Mercury, who had died seven days earlier and
- 11:20Speaker 1: was scheduled to be buried that morning. Guys, when Karen
- 11:24Speaker 1: did not return, a police bulletin went out looking for
- 11:28Speaker 1: the hearse and Karen, yes, guys, she took the hearse
- 11:33Speaker 1: with the body.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Could you imagine that bulletin is going out? No?
- 11:37Speaker 1: I mean now, I'm sure law enforcement was like, say again, right,
- 11:46Speaker 1: come at me again, Yeah, now, Karen. The hearse and
- 11:50Speaker 1: the body of John were located the next day in
- 11:53Speaker 1: Sierra County, California. Now, law enforcement found her locked inside. Yes,
- 12:00Speaker 1: you heard me. She was locked inside the hearse and
- 12:03Speaker 1: she refused to leave. Now, after an hour and a half,
- 12:07Speaker 1: she finally unlocked the doors, but she had also attempted
- 12:12Speaker 1: suicide by ingesting several tail and all encodings. Karen was
- 12:17Speaker 1: rushed to the hospital and had her stomach pumped. Unfortunately,
- 12:21Speaker 1: she did survive the ordeal.
- 12:25Speaker 2: That's a tough way to try to go. She's very
- 12:27Speaker 2: lucky and fortunate she is.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I did not find out till we lived in Las
- 12:33Speaker 1: Vegas that someone could actually die from overdosing on tailanol.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Till one of my kid's friends and our neighbor's daughter
- 12:43Speaker 1: died from overdosing on I didn't know, and I was shocked.
- 12:49Speaker 1: But yeah, so law enforcement did find a four and
- 12:54Speaker 1: a half page letter written by her in the hearse,
- 12:59Speaker 1: where she had confess to having sex with twenty to
- 13:03Speaker 1: forty bodies of young men, calling it an addiction.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Okay, I mean, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. She's
- 13:24Speaker 2: twenty one here, uh huh and already twenty to forty
- 13:28Speaker 2: bodies a young man. Okay, all right, wow, okay, anyway, yeah,
- 13:36Speaker 2: so be ready to do this. Okay, So, now here's
- 13:40Speaker 2: what she wrote, why do I do it? Why? Why?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Fear of love? Relationships? No romance ever hurt like this.
- 13:52Speaker 2: It's the pits. I'm a more regret that this is
- 13:56Speaker 2: my rat hole, perhaps perhaps my grave now.
- 14:02Speaker 1: She also wrote that she loved her parents, but she
- 14:06Speaker 1: could not ask them to help her with these taboo urges.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And I have to say, how would you talk to
- 14:15Speaker 1: youaingly about that? I mean, as a mom, I would
- 14:19Speaker 1: still love my child, but I think they would have
- 14:21Speaker 1: to take me to the hospital.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I don't know how you process that.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I don't know if I could so, but like I said,
- 14:30Speaker 1: She also wrote that she loved her parents.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Yeah, she wrote, I have nowhere or no one to
- 14:37Speaker 2: go to. Yes, and there's my dad and mom. But
- 14:41Speaker 2: I'd be replacing one problem with another. They fight and
- 14:44Speaker 2: sometimes I get old in the middle. I know they
- 14:47Speaker 2: need someone to talk to who understands, cares, and doesn't talk,
- 14:52Speaker 2: so I listen. I owe it to them. I put
- 14:55Speaker 2: them through so much pain through the years. I love them.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I wish I could help them, but I get physically
- 15:01Speaker 2: ill if I stay with them the fighting.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm not a therapist, but I am going to say
- 15:09Speaker 1: she has some definite childhood trauma, not just from the
- 15:12Speaker 1: things that happened to her, but sounds like it was
- 15:14Speaker 1: a dysfunctional family. Now, guys, in nineteen seventy nine, necrophilia
- 15:20Speaker 1: was not a crime in California. And if y'all are
- 15:25Speaker 1: doing like me, you're going, how was it not? And
- 15:30Speaker 1: surely they made it a law about it right after this?
- 15:33Speaker 2: Right? Guess what, guys?
- 15:37Speaker 1: No, No, necrophilia did not become illegal in California until
- 15:44Speaker 1: two thousand and four.
- 15:48Speaker 2: That's when I got through in high school. Four.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I mean, guys, before we judge California too hard, I
- 15:57Speaker 1: recommend you, guys waiting until the end where I'm to
- 16:00Speaker 1: share a little bit more information about other states.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Or you can go ahead and.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Google your state now if you want, because you can't wait.
- 16:10Speaker 2: By Google search industry is gonna make me it look
- 16:13Speaker 2: so bad, so bad. But I know of one particular
- 16:18Speaker 2: state up north of where I am, so we all
- 16:22Speaker 2: know what state that is. They just made it illegal
- 16:26Speaker 2: last year, last year, the state of Michigan. Last year.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It's insane.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna ask everybody to go hit the like
- 16:38Speaker 1: button now because you're not liking the topic, you're liking
- 16:45Speaker 1: us and it helps people find us because it's about
- 16:49Speaker 1: to get a whole.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Lot more fun.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Okay, Now, Karen was charged and pled guilty to stealing
- 16:56Speaker 1: the hearse and interfering with the funeral. You had to
- 17:00Speaker 1: serve eleven days in jail, a two hundred and fifty
- 17:04Speaker 1: five dollars fine, two years probation, and mandatory therapy.
- 17:11Speaker 2: That's it. That's crazy for stealing a car. I were
- 17:18Speaker 2: in the body. Yeah, but it's also what nineteen seventy nine,
- 17:23Speaker 2: so that probably isn't a law of that either.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Probably, But John's mother filed a one million dollar lawsuit
- 17:31Speaker 1: against Karen and the mortuary for severe emotional distress.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Girl. Yes, but guys, she.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Ended up receiving one hundred and seventeen thousand dollars.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I mean, that's both of those numbers are pretty big
- 17:46Speaker 2: for nineteen seventy nine, for now the early eighties at
- 17:49Speaker 2: this point, I don't know. But she also had John's
- 17:52Speaker 2: body exhumed and decided to have it taken to Michigan
- 17:57Speaker 2: to be buried because I'm sure once it hit the news,
- 18:00Speaker 2: people were going to see it. And that's just awful.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Now the good news, that's pretty much all of her
- 18:08Speaker 1: legal troubles that we know of, because it is believed
- 18:13Speaker 1: that she changed her name and she is still alive
- 18:17Speaker 1: and her whereabouts are unknown. I did check the file
- 18:23Speaker 1: is sealed. Wow, the file is sealed, And I'm assuming.
- 18:29Speaker 2: As I just did. I I don't know if you
- 18:31Speaker 2: pick my camera picks it up.
- 18:32Speaker 1: But I did like, oh yeah, So I was able
- 18:36Speaker 1: to find a filing in nineteen eighty one that she
- 18:40Speaker 1: filed emotion and it was sealed. So I'm thinking that's
- 18:45Speaker 1: her change in her name. But there's not really much
- 18:49Speaker 1: out there about her. But the title of tonight's show
- 18:53Speaker 1: is not inside the crimes of a necro file, It's
- 18:57Speaker 1: inside the mind of one. And that is where we
- 19:01Speaker 1: may be for the rest of the show.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Oh boy, oh boy.
- 19:07Speaker 1: And it's not often that you get to hear these
- 19:10Speaker 1: types of confessions from the perpetrator in their own words.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And I'm gonna be honest at the end, we're gonna
- 19:17Speaker 1: really wish we had no Okay, so true that our
- 19:22Speaker 1: wonderful producer felt we should do this.
- 19:25Speaker 2: She's amazing. She should get a raised. She should I
- 19:30Speaker 2: will give her one. She's tomorrow morning, just kidd Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Now, five years after her rest. Karen gave a very
- 19:41Speaker 1: detailed interview. Oh my god, that picture, don't worry taking,
- 19:48Speaker 1: by god, right.
- 19:53Speaker 2: On top of a body in there, I think so
- 19:56Speaker 2: it looks like a very old Oh my god, I
- 20:01Speaker 2: think so. Everybody drink next time.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I need to see the pictures before they just pop
- 20:11Speaker 1: up all the screen.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Oh my heavens. Okay, I'm not going to leave it
- 20:15Speaker 2: up there that long, y'all, but I you know, well,
- 20:17Speaker 2: I was trying to see if I could pick out
- 20:19Speaker 2: body parts. But anyway, oh girl, I have put it
- 20:21Speaker 2: back up.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I'm just getting five years after her rest, Like I said,
- 20:25Speaker 1: She gave a very detailed interview called the Unrepentant necro
- 20:29Speaker 1: File to author Jim Morton for his book Apocalypse Culture.
- 20:35Speaker 2: And guess what, mama, we are going to read that.
- 20:40Speaker 1: So I want everybody to grab that barf bag a
- 20:44Speaker 1: drink and hold it close.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Now.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I also want you to keep in mind this interview
- 20:49Speaker 1: was done over forty years ago. Okay, times were different,
- 20:53Speaker 1: words were used differently, and these words are Karen's in
- 20:57Speaker 1: the interviewers, not our own, right.
- 21:00Speaker 2: So Lama gets to be lucky.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I am going to play the role of the interviewer
- 21:07Speaker 1: Jim Lama, you get to be carried?
- 21:11Speaker 2: Okay, all right, this is might be the weird this
- 21:14Speaker 2: might be the weirdest role playing I've ever done. But
- 21:17Speaker 2: I will give it. I'll give it a go. Take
- 21:19Speaker 2: one for the team. I hope Mama Lama's ready. That's
- 21:23Speaker 2: all I gotta say. Buffy said, I'm clipping this. Buffy.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Oh Buffy. She was like, oh, we need all you,
- 21:31Speaker 2: all the faces for future thumbnails. Oh the faces to
- 21:38Speaker 2: get them. Oh my god.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Just wait now he starts the interview reviewing the facts
- 21:45Speaker 1: that just shared with you, So we're going.
- 21:47Speaker 2: To start here.
- 21:49Speaker 1: The press had a field day, the lawyers got rich,
- 21:53Speaker 1: and Karen lost her career and the source of her
- 21:56Speaker 1: sexual satisfaction. But guys, Karen is now more comfortable with
- 22:03Speaker 1: her sexuality.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Boy, Karen, When I wrote that letter, I was still
- 22:11Speaker 2: listening to society. Everyone said necrophilia was wrong, so I
- 22:16Speaker 2: must be doing something wrong. But the more people try
- 22:19Speaker 2: to convince me that I was crazy, the more sure
- 22:22Speaker 2: of my desires I became. Okay.
- 22:28Speaker 1: The following interview was held in Karen's apartment, which was
- 22:31Speaker 1: a small studio filled with books, necrophilic drawings, and satanic adornments.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Cool, of course it was. I mean, if you're going
- 22:45Speaker 2: to do it, do it right, I guess I mean,
- 22:47Speaker 2: or go home. Back.
- 22:49Speaker 1: During the trial, from what I ran the newspapers, it
- 22:52Speaker 1: seemed like you got very little support.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Karen, No none whatsoever. The newspapers were the worst. To
- 23:00Speaker 2: this day, I hate reporters. One of them even compared
- 23:04Speaker 2: me to Richard Trenton Chase, the vampire killer. What support
- 23:08Speaker 2: there was was like a family obligations. One of my
- 23:12Speaker 2: brothers refused to have anything to do with me. He said,
- 23:15Speaker 2: I just want to remember her as she was. He
- 23:18Speaker 2: came up to me later and apologized, but he still
- 23:21Speaker 2: is uncomfortable around me. My other brother was more supportive,
- 23:25Speaker 2: but even he had to ask how to do it.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Before the trial, I had a boyfriend who found out
- 23:32Speaker 2: about it. He got mad and slapped me around. He
- 23:36Speaker 2: said I wasn't even a woman and I could go
- 23:38Speaker 2: fuck my dead bodies. I was surprised he knew. Apparently
- 23:43Speaker 2: a lot of people knew, and I don't know how
- 23:45Speaker 2: they knew. With guys, they always felt I went for
- 23:48Speaker 2: the bodies because I was hard up, and if I
- 23:50Speaker 2: went to bed with them, then they then that would
- 23:53Speaker 2: change me, and they would be the one who would
- 23:56Speaker 2: give me such satisfaction. I wouldn't need those old courses anymore.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I've run into that a lot. Sometimes they had guys
- 24:03Speaker 2: come on to me for just that reason. Oh, I
- 24:12Speaker 2: guess I should starn that. All that is, mister Craig Lackey.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Now the question I am most often asked is how
- 24:23Speaker 1: did she do it?
- 24:25Speaker 2: Yes, that's that's the question. People ask questions like that.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Even people who seem pretty cool seem to have open minds.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Then when you tell them, they say, that's very interesting.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Then don't want to have much to do with me.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Excuse me, it's already starting the yeah reflexes I'm reading. Okay,
- 24:49Speaker 2: oh boy, I don't mind telling people how I do it.
- 24:52Speaker 2: It doesn't matter to me. But anyone in depth sexually
- 24:56Speaker 2: shouldn't have to ask. People have this misconception that there
- 24:59Speaker 2: has to be penetration for sexual gratification, which is bold.
- 25:04Speaker 2: The most sensitive part of a woman is the front
- 25:06Speaker 2: area anyway, and that is what needs to be stimulated. Besides,
- 25:10Speaker 2: there are different aspects of sexual expression Dutchy Feely sixty nine.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Even holding hands, that body is just lying there but
- 25:20Speaker 2: it has what it takes to make me happy. The cold,
- 25:24Speaker 2: the aura of death, the smell of death, the funeral surroundings.
- 25:30Speaker 2: It all contributes. The smell of death. Sure, I find
- 25:37Speaker 2: the odor of death very erotic. There are death odors,
- 25:42Speaker 2: and there are death odors. Now. You get your body
- 25:45Speaker 2: that's been floating in the bay for two weeks, or
- 25:48Speaker 2: a burn victim. That doesn't attract me much, but a
- 25:52Speaker 2: freshly involved corpse is something else. There's also this attraction
- 25:57Speaker 2: to blood on top of a body. It tends to
- 26:02Speaker 2: purge blood out of its mouth while you're making passionate love.
- 26:07Speaker 2: You'd have to be there, I guess. Of course, with
- 26:11Speaker 2: all the aids going around, that's the reason I haven't
- 26:14Speaker 2: tried anything lately. I'm sure i'd have found a way
- 26:17Speaker 2: to get into one of those funeral homes by now.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But the group I find attractive are young men in
- 26:23Speaker 2: their twenties, and there are the ones who are dying
- 26:27Speaker 2: of aids. Okay, I'm sorry, you're welcome. Yeah.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Did you usually attend the funerals of your corpse lovers?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it was convenient working in the funeral homes. I
- 26:45Speaker 2: get to drive out to the cemetery with the family.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I get them warned right along with the family at
- 26:52Speaker 2: the loss of the loved one, except I was growning
- 26:56Speaker 2: in a little different tone. People can't really tell if
- 27:00Speaker 2: your grief stricken or passion stricken. I've had family members
- 27:04Speaker 2: of the families put their arms around me and say,
- 27:06Speaker 2: we're so glad you could come. Then you have to
- 27:09Speaker 2: spend this big old yarn. Yeah I knew him in school.
- 27:13Speaker 2: If the guy didn't have a girlfriend in life, they
- 27:15Speaker 2: think you were, Oh, she's the one.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I'm sure that's not what they meant by saying they
- 27:24Speaker 1: were glad you could come. Your version, But okay, let's
- 27:28Speaker 1: get back to what. Yeah, you weren't in Sacramento at
- 27:32Speaker 1: the time of the trial, were you.
- 27:35Speaker 2: No. I was working in a funeral home in another
- 27:38Speaker 2: city and going to school at the same time. It's weird,
- 27:42Speaker 2: but the day I got a telegram about the trial
- 27:44Speaker 2: telling me to get in touch with my attorney, I
- 27:47Speaker 2: went into the funeral home and was fired for things
- 27:50Speaker 2: I had done at that funeral home. Somebody, I guess
- 27:56Speaker 2: got wise of me. I know I wasn't seen, but
- 27:59Speaker 2: I think somebody just figured it out. Of Course, they
- 28:03Speaker 2: didn't know about Sacramentum. Yet they found that out later
- 28:07Speaker 2: the same day, within five hours of each other. Two
- 28:11Speaker 2: totally different things caught up with me. I worked in
- 28:14Speaker 2: that funeral home for almost a year. That's where I
- 28:18Speaker 2: did a lot of my extracurricular activities. I had keys,
- 28:24Speaker 2: so i'd slipped back and it'd slipped back in after
- 28:27Speaker 2: hours and spend all night there. A guy lived at
- 28:30Speaker 2: the funeral home in an apartment downstairs. He drank so
- 28:33Speaker 2: he usually passed out. He also had a three fifty
- 28:37Speaker 2: seven Magnum under his pillow. The guy that court case
- 28:42Speaker 2: was about, I mean John Mercury. Yeah, I understand he
- 28:48Speaker 2: was moved out of the cemetery after the trial that happened.
- 28:52Speaker 2: At the time I was breaking into this funeral home,
- 28:55Speaker 2: there was a side room, one of those arrangement areas
- 28:59Speaker 2: where they always have their case folders out. I read
- 29:02Speaker 2: there was an exhumation order for John mrcare. Then I
- 29:08Speaker 2: read something in the paper. It his mother, one of
- 29:11Speaker 2: the body exums, said she couldn't bury her cat there
- 29:15Speaker 2: On the day he was supposed to be exhumed, I
- 29:18Speaker 2: snuck out into a field across from where he was buried.
- 29:23Speaker 2: I sat out in the field and watched them dig
- 29:25Speaker 2: up the body and give him to this other mortician,
- 29:29Speaker 2: and they shipped him back to Michigan.
- 29:34Speaker 1: So when did you first become aware of your necrophilia that.
- 29:40Speaker 2: It's something I've been attracted to all my life. I
- 29:43Speaker 2: used to hold funeral services for my pets when they died,
- 29:48Speaker 2: had a little cut graveyard. I lived in a small
- 29:51Speaker 2: town and the fireman's barbecue was next door to the
- 29:54Speaker 2: funeral home. To go to the bathroom, you had to
- 29:57Speaker 2: use the facilities in the funeral home, and I'd find
- 29:59Speaker 2: any excuse I could to go to the bathroom. Then
- 30:02Speaker 2: I'd take side trips and wander around the mortuary. It
- 30:08Speaker 2: didn't scare you like the other kids. No, I loved it.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I was real curious. I had wander around the halls.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Now do you miss working in funeral homes?
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yes, terribly, Even if I wasn't an agrophile, I like
- 30:27Speaker 2: mortuary work. I enjoy embalming and everything, except for obese people.
- 30:33Speaker 2: The bodies I hated working on most were obese people,
- 30:36Speaker 2: specifically if they'd been on autop seed, their guts would
- 30:40Speaker 2: slide on the floor and shit all this melty fat.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Oh thank you for that, Karen, you said something previously
- 30:52Speaker 1: about the vampire killer Richard Trenton Chase. He was from Sacramento,
- 30:57Speaker 1: wasn't he.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Second funeral home I worked for it. I wasn't
- 31:01Speaker 2: working there at the time. Got the bodies of Jesus victims,
- 31:05Speaker 2: a man and a woman in their child. So I
- 31:09Speaker 2: hear the glory details of what the bodies look like.
- 31:12Speaker 2: They were really butchered, and they were disendowed with shits
- 31:16Speaker 2: stuffed in their mouths. She started by killing animals and
- 31:20Speaker 2: drinking their blood, and when he wasn't satisfied with that,
- 31:23Speaker 2: he graduated to people. He killed this couple, then kidnapped
- 31:27Speaker 2: their child, killed it, and later threw it in the
- 31:29Speaker 2: trash can. The mortician who embalmed the body said he
- 31:33Speaker 2: hardly ever got queasy about anything, but he got sick
- 31:37Speaker 2: when he saw those bodies.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I'm going to just say I have to agree with Kapain, Karen.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Have you thought about a bob it is the early
- 31:48Speaker 1: tickets in a freezer when it comes out just going
- 31:52Speaker 1: to be my suggestion, Karen, if you're listening to this, Yeah, Now,
- 31:59Speaker 1: what's the weird?
- 32:00Speaker 2: What this case you've ever encountered? Hm? There was one
- 32:06Speaker 2: kid who fell out of a car while his mom
- 32:09Speaker 2: was making a turn and she managed to run over
- 32:12Speaker 2: his head. Another kid choked to death on a cigarette wrapper.
- 32:17Speaker 2: One guy commits suicide by shooting himself in the head
- 32:20Speaker 2: with a peller rifle. He had to shoot himself several
- 32:23Speaker 2: times and it took him a while to die, but
- 32:26Speaker 2: he finally succeeded. There was another guy who worked on
- 32:31Speaker 2: He was a transvestite who somehow strangled himself with his nylons.
- 32:35Speaker 2: I don't think there was intentional I think he was
- 32:38Speaker 2: trying to achieve a heightened orgasm through strangulation and he
- 32:42Speaker 2: ended up hanging himself. He wouldn't be the first to
- 32:45Speaker 2: make that mistake. Now, how about the most unusual funeral?
- 32:53Speaker 2: What time this bunch of religious fanatics held the funeral
- 32:57Speaker 2: for one of their members that they didn't want her INVALMD.
- 33:00Speaker 2: They just wanted her dressed and in the casket. We
- 33:03Speaker 2: usually didn't do that, but we decided to be nice
- 33:06Speaker 2: and put her up in the stateroom. We were standing
- 33:09Speaker 2: outside of that stateroom and we heard someone saying, rise
- 33:12Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus. They were praying and slapping
- 33:16Speaker 2: the body. They were talking in tongues. That was weird.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Wow, Now seems to be a strong camaraderie between morticians.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I'm the sec It's a secret society.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Very much so morticians are very tight with each other
- 33:35Speaker 2: because most people won't have anything to do with them.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I used to find if I went to a party,
- 33:40Speaker 2: I'd always be introduced like, this is Karen, and she's
- 33:43Speaker 2: a mortician. But they don't say, here's Karen, she's a
- 33:46Speaker 2: secretary or she's a veterinary assistant. A lot of people
- 33:51Speaker 2: are under the misconception that morticians are very straight, very
- 33:54Speaker 2: somber people. If they ever went back into the prep
- 33:58Speaker 2: room and heard all the jokes that are cracked, blow
- 34:00Speaker 2: that theory right out the window.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Now, did any of those morticians ever testify for or
- 34:08Speaker 1: against you at the trial?
- 34:11Speaker 2: One funeral director testified on behalf of funeral practices. He
- 34:17Speaker 2: was asked how often necrophilia occurs, and he said, it's
- 34:20Speaker 2: almost unheard of in this profession.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's a major lie.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yes, yes, definitely, necrophilia is more prevalent than most people imagine.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Funeral holmes just don't report it. There was one place
- 34:39Speaker 2: that I broke into and I know that they knew
- 34:42Speaker 2: something was wrong. They actually caught me in the act
- 34:45Speaker 2: and let me get away. At another place I was working,
- 34:49Speaker 2: this guy came up to me and said, someone's been
- 34:51Speaker 2: messing around with the body. It looks like they were
- 34:53Speaker 2: trying to fuck the body. I said, Oh, my goodness,
- 34:57Speaker 2: really I think they figured it out later? Are I
- 35:00Speaker 2: know they know now? One more Titian I worked with
- 35:04Speaker 2: used to like to use that trocar, which is a
- 35:07Speaker 2: large hollow needle used to suction fluids from corpses and
- 35:13Speaker 2: push it up inside any male cadaver's dick. He'd say, Oh, look,
- 35:18Speaker 2: the corpses go to boner. This guy was really weird.
- 35:25Speaker 2: What's okay? Okay, that's weird too far. Everybody has a line, terry,
- 35:32Speaker 2: everybody has a vine anyway. And see, he looked like
- 35:37Speaker 2: Larry of the Three Stooges. I think he had some
- 35:40Speaker 2: necrophilic tendencies. He'd get real upset if there weren't any
- 35:44Speaker 2: female bodies to work on. He'd start pacing. I called
- 35:48Speaker 2: him one time in the prep room. He said he
- 35:51Speaker 2: was just taking a pee in the hopper at the
- 35:53Speaker 2: end of the table. He was just pulling up his
- 35:55Speaker 2: pants when I walked in. I said, I won't tell
- 35:58Speaker 2: if you don't.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Okay, now you say you were once caught in the
- 36:09Speaker 1: act of necrophilia once.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Yeah. I tried to kill myself and was living in
- 36:18Speaker 2: a halfway house a couple of blocks up from the
- 36:20Speaker 2: funeral home. I decided to go to the mausoleum and
- 36:24Speaker 2: try to kill myself again. The mausoleum had a door
- 36:28Speaker 2: connecting it to the mortuary, so I was sitting in
- 36:31Speaker 2: there real depressed, when, just for the hell of it,
- 36:35Speaker 2: I decided to try running my driver's license along the
- 36:38Speaker 2: edge of the door and click, the door popped open.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I couldn't believe it, so I tried it again, and
- 36:44Speaker 2: the door popped open again. I went into the prep
- 36:48Speaker 2: room and there happened to be a body in there.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I had me some fun, did my thing, and forgot
- 36:55Speaker 2: all about killing myself. I told the folks at the
- 36:58Speaker 2: halfway house that I stayed the night with friends. I
- 37:02Speaker 2: went in there several times. Sometimes there was absolutely no bodies,
- 37:05Speaker 2: so I turned around and snuck back out. I usually
- 37:08Speaker 2: went in the back door. About a week later, I
- 37:12Speaker 2: snuck back into the funeral home. I was on the
- 37:14Speaker 2: perp table, having a good old time. When all of
- 37:19Speaker 2: a sudden, I felt like there was somebody nearby. Next thing,
- 37:23Speaker 2: I heard people walking down the hallway. I quietly jumped
- 37:26Speaker 2: off the table and threw the sheet back over the body.
- 37:29Speaker 2: My clothes were in quite a state of disarray, and
- 37:34Speaker 2: I had blood on me and everything else. It had
- 37:38Speaker 2: been an autopsy case. Oh my god. There was a
- 37:44Speaker 2: casket with the lid open in the side casket room,
- 37:47Speaker 2: so I ran and hid behind it. The casket was
- 37:50Speaker 2: on a church truck, so they couldn't see me, but
- 37:53Speaker 2: they could see my legs. It was a man and
- 37:56Speaker 2: a woman there, and they were standing there saying, who
- 38:00Speaker 2: are you? What are you doing here? One of them
- 38:03Speaker 2: said to the other, you go get a gun and
- 38:05Speaker 2: call the cops, and I'll stay down here. I knew
- 38:08Speaker 2: I only had one chance then, so I busted out
- 38:10Speaker 2: and ran. I knew the layout of the place, so
- 38:12Speaker 2: I just ran down the hall and out of the
- 38:14Speaker 2: place and out of the cemetery. At the time, I
- 38:17Speaker 2: still had a friend who worked at the funeral home.
- 38:20Speaker 2: He said, somebody broke into the funeral home. They know
- 38:25Speaker 2: it was you. They put an alarm after that, I
- 38:30Speaker 2: think they called the police, but there was never any charges.
- 38:34Speaker 2: I'm sure they didn't want the publicity. That was the
- 38:37Speaker 2: last time I got very close, except for I've broken
- 38:41Speaker 2: into a few tombs, and that's one does to be cremated.
- 38:47Speaker 2: But have you seen any changes in people's attitudes towards necrophilia. Yeah,
- 38:55Speaker 2: when I came out here, I noticed that it's almost
- 38:57Speaker 2: a fad. They're not real files, but pseudo negro files,
- 39:04Speaker 2: like a death cult. But there are probably a lot
- 39:07Speaker 2: of people who would do it if they had the opportunity.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Perhaps there is this vast network of necrophiles who, for
- 39:15Speaker 2: lack of a better forum, will never know of each
- 39:17Speaker 2: other's existence. Well, there's Leela Wendels group American Association of
- 39:23Speaker 2: Nephiliac Research and Enlightenment. We try and get some information
- 39:29Speaker 2: out about it.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Okay, that is just scariest shit to me. But it
- 39:38Speaker 1: must be frustrating when people say we have to cure you.
- 39:43Speaker 1: You've got to be more like us, and you're weird.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Sorry it is.
- 39:51Speaker 2: For a while I found myself thinking, yeah, this is
- 39:55Speaker 2: a normal. Why can't I be like other people? Why
- 39:58Speaker 2: doesn't the same pair of shoes fit me just right?
- 40:01Speaker 2: I went through all that personal health. And finally I
- 40:05Speaker 2: accepted myself and realized that's just me, that's my nature,
- 40:10Speaker 2: and I might as well enjoy it. I'm miserable when
- 40:13Speaker 2: I try to find something and try to be something
- 40:15Speaker 2: I'm not. And two, a lot of these people who
- 40:18Speaker 2: are putting me down have hang ups worse than I have,
- 40:22Speaker 2: or they do things that might be considered questionable by
- 40:25Speaker 2: their peers. I had a gay friend who, when he
- 40:28Speaker 2: found out I was a necrophilesaid, you can go to
- 40:31Speaker 2: help for that. After nineteen seventy nine, when I was
- 40:35Speaker 2: put out on probation, part of the probation requirement was
- 40:38Speaker 2: that I seek therapy. I had a really nice social worker.
- 40:42Speaker 2: She was cool, very non judgmental. The more I talk
- 40:46Speaker 2: to these people, the more I realized necrophilia makes sense
- 40:49Speaker 2: to me. The reason I was having a problem with
- 40:52Speaker 2: it was because I couldn't accept myself. I was so
- 40:55Speaker 2: trying to live my life by other people's standards. To
- 40:59Speaker 2: accept it was peace. These people who are always trying
- 41:03Speaker 2: to change me only helped me get myself more in
- 41:05Speaker 2: touch with my feelings. I used to go from the
- 41:08Speaker 2: therapist's office to the funeral funeral home. It didn't work, folks.
- 41:14Speaker 2: It didn't work. So that is the conclusion of our
- 41:20Speaker 2: role play. Thanks, I have a breaking God. I have
- 41:28Speaker 2: a quick question for the live yours and for the
- 41:30Speaker 2: replay grew. Do you think Karen continued on with her
- 41:35Speaker 2: necrophilia ways leave the comment below and let us know
- 41:39Speaker 2: what you think. Personally, the vibe I get from this
- 41:43Speaker 2: interview is she has had zero intentions of stopping.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I am just gonna say she hasn't stopped.
- 41:55Speaker 2: She hasn't stopped.
- 41:59Speaker 1: No, I mean, I have to say one thing about
- 42:04Speaker 1: her before I get into the next part. I do
- 42:08Speaker 1: get that it must have been hard to feel not
- 42:13Speaker 1: in touch with yourself and to feel like you didn't belong.
- 42:17Speaker 2: And now she's more with herself. The girl you do
- 42:23Speaker 2: not want to be okay with yourself.
- 42:25Speaker 1: And I think the reason people knew is because I
- 42:29Speaker 1: can tell you that when you get dead bodies smell
- 42:32Speaker 1: on you, it's kind of like firemen. They can't get
- 42:36Speaker 1: that smell off of them.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how they are.
- 42:40Speaker 1: You smell like decomp That is how they though you've
- 42:45Speaker 1: been doing the hokey pokey with the dead.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Yeah. People that like do crime scene clean up and
- 42:52Speaker 2: things like that. They said those exact things that like,
- 42:54Speaker 2: you can't get that smell off you. Oh gosh, that
- 42:59Speaker 2: was rough. I mean, I just I just anyway.
- 43:07Speaker 1: So I want to talk a little bit about necrophilia
- 43:11Speaker 1: because when Lama decided we should do this so fascinating,
- 43:16Speaker 1: bright and sunshiny case that I needed to go down
- 43:21Speaker 1: some rabbit holes. I found out way more than I
- 43:25Speaker 1: ever needed to know. Okay, Now, necrophilia has been around
- 43:31Speaker 1: almost forever. There is Egyptian artifacts that shows necrophilia happen. Okay, Now,
- 43:41Speaker 1: I believe psychologists introduced a ten tier classification of necrophiliacs
- 43:49Speaker 1: based on the increasing severity of the disorder.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Is this like a Cosmo quiz hell book? Yeah, so
- 44:04Speaker 2: here we go.
- 44:06Speaker 1: There's necrophiliac fantasizers, people who fantasize about necrophilia but do
- 44:13Speaker 1: not physically interact with corpses.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Okay, that's cool. Six say I can look at that one.
- 44:20Speaker 2: That's fine, Okay.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Fetish histic necrophiliacs people who remove objects or body parts
- 44:32Speaker 1: from a corpse for sexual fetishes without engaging an intercourse.
- 44:39Speaker 1: So that fourteen hands wine you got tonight, that is
- 44:43Speaker 1: fourteen hands that.
- 44:45Speaker 2: You can it's hot hot to trot. It's so weird. Okay, So.
- 44:56Speaker 1: It looks like Cheryl and Jenn have popped up and
- 44:58Speaker 1: they're going, what in the hell is Terry doing? Yeah,
- 45:04Speaker 1: I hope you'll miss the part about some of them
- 45:07Speaker 1: stuff bubbles up out of their mouths.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I mean, yeah.
- 45:13Speaker 1: So necro multi multi low maniacs, it's too long. People
- 45:20Speaker 1: who derive pleasure from mutilating a corpse while masturbating without
- 45:26Speaker 1: engaging an intercourse.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Okay, that's bad. That's bad. That's bad. I don't like that. Now.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Opportunistic necrophiliacs.
- 45:43Speaker 1: People who normally have no interest in necrophilia, but hey,
- 45:48Speaker 1: they take the opportunity when it arises.
- 45:50Speaker 2: I mean, why not, yolo? I guess? Oh god, Okay,
- 46:01Speaker 2: I mean no.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I mean there's a lot of things that I say, Hey,
- 46:07Speaker 1: if the opportunity arises, try it.
- 46:10Speaker 2: This is not one of them. Okay, okay, this is
- 46:12Speaker 2: not one of them. I'm glad that's not on your
- 46:14Speaker 2: bucket list, Terry.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Now there is regular necrophiliacs. Okay, this is the regular wins,
- 46:21Speaker 1: people who preferentially have intercourse with the dead. That's the
- 46:25Speaker 1: regular wines.
- 46:30Speaker 2: I don't know. So I have a problem more with
- 46:32Speaker 2: them or the ones who like mutilate the body and
- 46:36Speaker 2: then do something. I think that one might be worse
- 46:38Speaker 2: in my book. I mean, I don't know. It depends
- 46:43Speaker 2: on how dead the person is. I mean, that's like
- 46:48Speaker 2: fresh leaves. Therry's getting lines right now.
- 46:56Speaker 1: No, homicidal, nephing, necrophiliacs, they are called necro status. So
- 47:04Speaker 1: those are people who murder someone so they can have
- 47:08Speaker 1: sex with them when they're dead.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:13Speaker 1: So they don't kill them for the pleasure of killing them,
- 47:16Speaker 1: They kill them because they need a dead body.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Yeah, brokes.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Now this next one and this is the last one.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Exclusive necrophiliacs. They're exclusive, Okay, people who have an exclusive
- 47:34Speaker 1: interest in sex with the dead and they cannot perform
- 47:39Speaker 1: at all for a living partner. Oh, so they exclusively
- 47:45Speaker 1: can only have sex with the dead. So I have
- 47:52Speaker 1: to tell y'all, when I was reading down this rabbit hole,
- 47:57Speaker 1: my first thought in this tells you, I don't know
- 48:01Speaker 1: if I'm a horrible person or if I've just been
- 48:03Speaker 1: doing true crime too long. What happens if she's having
- 48:09Speaker 1: sex with that dead guy and his member breaks off?
- 48:15Speaker 2: Why is it gonna break off.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Because they're dead? The body starts decomposing.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's true. It's got an invider.
- 48:25Speaker 1: It's you're gonna break off, and she's getting it out
- 48:29Speaker 1: of the cemetery, out of a tomb.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Okay, but if it's already in a tune, it's not.
- 48:36Speaker 2: The flag isn't raising up at that point, the blood
- 48:40Speaker 2: is out of the body. If it's an antinue, there's
- 48:43Speaker 2: no other things.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Seeing Tyler Perry's the one about the funeral where the
- 48:49Speaker 1: guy had taken via ager and he had a heart
- 48:51Speaker 1: attack and in the middle of the funeral he got
- 48:53Speaker 1: a boner and it popped the top of the casket
- 48:55Speaker 1: up and.
- 48:55Speaker 2: They kept trying to push it down. Yeah.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I mean, that's my next question is when do they
- 49:05Speaker 1: stop gurgling stuff?
- 49:10Speaker 2: I really wish I was not taking a drink when
- 49:12Speaker 2: you said that, but sure, oh low, do they do
- 49:15Speaker 2: that anybody until they drained the body of the fluids
- 49:23Speaker 2: would be my.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Now, only eleven percent of necrophiliacs that have been studied
- 49:32Speaker 1: are psychotic. I don't know if that makes me happy
- 49:36Speaker 1: or disturbed, because that's only of the people they studied,
- 49:43Speaker 1: and they said they studied a hundred.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Oh it's interesting. I think I know.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Now, we talked earlier about California not outlawing and making
- 49:58Speaker 1: it illegal for neck or phelia. So I decided to
- 50:02Speaker 1: go check and do some things. There are several states
- 50:05Speaker 1: that do not explicitly prohibit the act of necrophilia.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Guys in New Mexico just did this last year. New Mexico.
- 50:15Speaker 2: It just went through twenty twenty five. Wow.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Now currently Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii, and Rhode Island do not
- 50:28Speaker 1: explicitly prohibit the act of necrophilia.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Interesting, and guys, I find that crazy. That's wild.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Now they do have that you can be charged with
- 50:42Speaker 1: messing with the dead body like grave robbery.
- 50:47Speaker 2: But guys, okay, go with me for me the same
- 50:50Speaker 2: thing exactly. And this is still so I think it's
- 50:54Speaker 2: New Mexico.
- 50:55Speaker 1: The reason they did it is because they wanted to
- 50:59Speaker 1: charge a guy or raping a dead body, but it
- 51:03Speaker 1: wasn't against the law.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Therefore they could not charge him with rape. Mm hmm.
- 51:10Speaker 1: It is still not consensual to have sex with a
- 51:13Speaker 1: dead person.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Well, they can't get consent.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Therefore you shouldn't do it. It should be illegal. Okay,
- 51:23Speaker 1: I'm a little concerned that.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Captain. Is it bad that I'm saying. Tell I love media. Okay,
- 51:33Speaker 2: I do have asked a mortician. I have this weird
- 51:37Speaker 2: thing where I do follow like morticians. Her. There's Carrie
- 51:41Speaker 2: the mortician, and I follow It's very interesting. No one
- 51:44Speaker 2: to talk about you hit this case.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I do not follow any morticians. I do not what Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
- 51:55Speaker 2: I'm more curious. Okay, oh my god.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Okay, Now, when I decided to look into this, I
- 52:04Speaker 1: found a list of one hundred and sixty three documented necrophiles,
- 52:08Speaker 1: and I wanted to tell you some of the most
- 52:10Speaker 1: famous ones. Okay, okay, every dahmer who performed oral sex
- 52:17Speaker 1: and or masturbated upon the corpses of his victims before
- 52:22Speaker 1: he dismembered them.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Now I did not know this one.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Ted Bundy raped and killed at least thirty women. He
- 52:34Speaker 1: admitted to having post mortem sexual intercourse with his victims.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I did not know that about Bundy.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Didn't he ask his girlfriend to play dead?
- 52:46Speaker 1: He did, but I didn't know that he actually admitted
- 52:50Speaker 1: that he had sex.
- 52:52Speaker 2: With He's like like tier one and seven. I guess nine.
- 53:00Speaker 1: So then there's Henry Lee Lucas. He had sexual intercourse
- 53:05Speaker 1: with the dead bodies of several of his victims, and
- 53:08Speaker 1: when he was asked why, he said he killed them
- 53:11Speaker 1: before having sex with him because he liked peace and quiet.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I mean, sir, just tell her to not talk a ballgag.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Maybe if she's consenting. Oh boy, now give me Gary Richway,
- 53:31Speaker 1: who killed at least forty nine women and he dumped
- 53:34Speaker 1: their bodies.
- 53:35Speaker 2: Guys.
- 53:35Speaker 1: He would return days and days later and would perform
- 53:40Speaker 1: sexual acts on the victims.
- 53:43Speaker 2: He preferred it the more decomp the better. Mm. That's
- 53:50Speaker 2: so gross. Oh my god, I like that smell. What
- 53:54Speaker 2: is he the happy face skiller? Right? I think so?
- 53:58Speaker 1: I found one r a coal that I guess he
- 54:01Speaker 1: did some interviews and stuff. He liked to rub their
- 54:05Speaker 1: body parts on him so he could keep the decomp
- 54:08Speaker 1: smell on him.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Okay, I could go on, but let's not. Okay, we
- 54:13Speaker 2: like Yeah.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Now, let me just say there are a lot of them,
- 54:19Speaker 1: and that necrophilia is a formal diagnosis and it falls
- 54:24Speaker 1: under the other specified para paraphilic orders in the Diagnostic
- 54:30Speaker 1: and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. So it is a
- 54:35Speaker 1: mental disorder.
- 54:38Speaker 2: I would think so so are you ready for this?
- 54:44Speaker 1: Okay, ninety five percent of necrophiles are men.
- 54:51Speaker 2: That's not shot, that's not shot.
- 54:55Speaker 1: There one hundred percent of necrophilic homicide homicides or are
- 55:00Speaker 1: betrayed by men. Could not find a documented case of
- 55:04Speaker 1: a woman who killed the man just to have sex
- 55:06Speaker 1: with them.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Right, wasn't that level ten? Was that to your ten? Oh?
- 55:13Speaker 2: It's so not only like dear, no, oh my god.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Now this is even more, not more disturbing, but equally
- 55:25Speaker 1: as disturbing. Here are some animals that partake in necrophilia.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Animals, crows, interesting, kangaroos, okay, ducks, d.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Okay pinguins, but penguins theirs is the romantic.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Don't get me for life?
- 55:51Speaker 1: They do, and so they will try to steal mate
- 55:54Speaker 1: and have a baby with their dad.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Partner, So that one that's sad. And then sea lions,
- 56:03Speaker 2: dolphins and my cute little sea otters and guys. There
- 56:08Speaker 2: are a lot more. Oh, I'm really glad you didn't
- 56:12Speaker 2: see wamas because I'd have to think about rebranding right now.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you would definitely have to think about it now.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I'll say I found it interesting that so many animals
- 56:26Speaker 1: do it. Too, But I'm gonna say I find it
- 56:30Speaker 1: less creepy than I do humans doing it, And I
- 56:33Speaker 1: don't know what that says about me, but I would
- 56:37Speaker 1: rather animals do it than humans.
- 56:40Speaker 2: That's fair. I have a question for the audience or
- 56:45Speaker 2: our listeners viewers, have you.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Ever known anyone that have necrophilia tendencies?
- 56:55Speaker 2: Or your thoughts for you yourself? You can be anonymous,
- 57:00Speaker 2: you can gain me on one of us. Somebody drop
- 57:07Speaker 2: reading it.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It falls under the same area as alcoholism in the
- 57:13Speaker 1: mental health thing, and that really made me stop and think,
- 57:19Speaker 1: you know, it's probably more common than we know that
- 57:25Speaker 1: they just can't do anything about it. I I don't know.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not strange person that has said I
- 57:38Speaker 1: want to be like hiking and find a dead body.
- 57:44Speaker 1: But I don't have sex with it because I just
- 57:46Speaker 1: think it would be well, like hiking in a park.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I don't want it to be somebody I know. I
- 57:51Speaker 1: want to find like skeletal remains. Okay, so that then
- 57:56Speaker 1: you can be part of the investigation. You can maybe
- 58:00Speaker 1: find out it was somebody whose family had been looking
- 58:02Speaker 1: for them for years.
- 58:04Speaker 2: You could help solve the case. Okay. I won't have
- 58:07Speaker 2: sex no and another tibit I found.
- 58:12Speaker 1: If any of you do like the smell of dcomp
- 58:17Speaker 1: or death, you can go on Amazon and buy a
- 58:22Speaker 1: fly trap bag and it has you add the water
- 58:26Speaker 1: to it and that's how it attracts the flies to it.
- 58:30Speaker 1: It smells like dcomp. It will make your We've bought
- 58:34Speaker 1: them before and we had to get rid of them
- 58:36Speaker 1: because we just.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Couldn't do it.
- 58:38Speaker 1: It's death in a bag and it attracts all the
- 58:41Speaker 1: flies to it.
- 58:42Speaker 2: But you can go on Amazon. They're like sixteen dollars.
- 58:45Speaker 2: So wait, does it come in like a bottle jar?
- 58:50Speaker 2: It does. Holly prissy pants boyfriend got something that attracted
- 58:57Speaker 2: all the flies and she was like, it's so good
- 58:59Speaker 2: in one r ball. Now, I don't think she knows that.
- 59:02Speaker 2: I bet she's not watching right now, but I'm going
- 59:04Speaker 2: to tell her. We're all going to We're all gonna message.
- 59:07Speaker 2: You're gonna be like, yo, it has amazing review.
- 59:10Speaker 1: So I got it because right behind us and down
- 59:13Speaker 1: a little bit there's horses and stuff needed to get
- 59:16Speaker 1: rid of the flies.
- 59:17Speaker 2: If Jenna's still on, she could tell you could smell death.
- 59:21Speaker 2: I mean double h came out and He's like, that
- 59:24Speaker 2: has got to go. Fortun smelled that smelling. I am
- 59:30Speaker 2: very thankful for. Once you smell it, you will never
- 59:34Speaker 2: forget it. That's what I've heard. That's what i've heard.
- 59:37Speaker 2: So I'm pretty sure I haven't smelled it before. So
- 59:41Speaker 2: I do not know what the word is. Dip tick
- 59:48Speaker 2: If you earn it, didn't that happened? Did you mean
- 59:52Speaker 2: to put that in this read? Chatting with somebody on
- 59:55Speaker 2: the side. Oh boy, okay, well so I guess there's that.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm going to just say yeah, here on
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: out producer terror.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Yes, and I review some cases before. I just say, yes,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: are you sure? Because it was so much fun?
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: It was, and you decided to be Karen, and so
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I could not have read.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: I didn't want to change your reputation.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I could not have read because I love to read
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: and I visualize things. When I read through it, I
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: was visualizing it. And that's why when you put up
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: the picture of her in the casket, I just.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Oh, I bet it's differently, right now? What do you
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: guys think? Oh? Yeah, let's see it hit differently? Are
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: those little hands there? I don't know the context of
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: this photo.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: When I found you notice that she said she also
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: like holding hands with them in sixty nine with.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Them, Yes, yes, I do remember before all of our
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: are viewers leave us.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: So I'm just tell y'all, i'ven sure how I can
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: express my closing thoughts because guys, I find this very uncomfortable.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Maybe drinking not.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: It's disturbing, okay, And I need to know what studies
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: are being done. Like we know that killers, I forget
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: what it's called.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: They wet the bed, they set fires, they do something.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Do we have anything like that for necrophilia?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Are there any early warning signs that parents and teachers
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: should look for, because I think we need to get
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: them into therapy very soon if their's tendencies.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, it's very interesting.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: And the other thing that I find disturbing is that
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Karen justifies her actions. And it bothers me that she
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: was allowed to change her name. She could be working
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: as a mortician somewhere under her new name, because if
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: you change your name, your background doesn't go with you.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: For all we know, she's working in a cemetery in
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a mortician.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Who wants to put money on that's what she's been doing.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: I will and I'm also going to say, it freaks
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: me out that she did this in a profession. That
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: these people are supposed to help families in their most
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: difficult times. You know, they're supposed to be comforting you.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: You hug them and say thank you, and they've maybe
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: just done Grandpa in the back.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: I I think that.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I think if you're a mortician, a medical examiner or
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: somebody and you do that, there should be additional charges.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Or for like using your role to do such a thing.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: I agree. Actually I had never thought about that, but
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: I agree. Really don't like police officers get our doctors
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: get you know, due to their career and role in prestige.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Then you know, yeah, yeah, And I'm going to say
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: I am not kink shaming.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I mean, if you want to sniff people's feet, lick
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: their feet, that's one thing. Having sexual contact relations or
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: anything with the dead person is not a kink.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: It's fantasized, but it you can meet your one acceptable
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: fantasize fantasize.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Just keep it to yourself, Just keep it to yourself,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: don't tell your partner. I also think we should give
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: psychological exams they're supposed to for police officers. I think
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: we should also do medical examiners and morticians and the
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: embombers to see if they have those tendencies.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: M anybody going to say yes, but you would ask
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: them like do a light attack.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: We need to make sure.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: This is another reason I'm very glad I'm being cremated.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I just hope they don't do that to me before
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I get cremated, because I am going on the record
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: now I do not give consent for someone to have
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: sex with me when I'm dead, not even my husband.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Oh oh do they change now?
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: He can hear me, and I'm sure he's in his
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: office going, what is wrong with this woman?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: So what are you? What are your thoughts today?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Okay, Simone, I don't think I could be that desperate either.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I also don't want to bash people for having a
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: mental illness. And if it is truly considered a mental illness,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you still have the responsibility to do the right thing.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: That's true, get therapy, get medication.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Right, Like, there is like this clear stigma everybody has
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: about the finding is morally irrehensible, right, But we don't
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: want the stigma to get too bad because then people
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: won't admit to it and get the help they need
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: to behave better. It's a very complicated I mean, there's
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: it is, there's other sexual things that are also, There's
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: there's it's a whole thing. I'm just saying. Is it gross, yes,
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: is irrehensible? Yes, But you know, we need people to
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: feel because I remember, if I recall Jeffrey Dahmer specifically,
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: he was like he had these tendencies for a very
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: long time. The first guy he killed here in Ohio,
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: it was over his body, you know, like that's what
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: drew him in and he didn't know how to talk
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: about How do how would you go to any profession?
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: I mean you have to think about it. Right. Even now,
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: people who are suicidal, who have ideations are uncomfortable with
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: telling their therapists because of the consequences of them getting,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: you know, locked up for it. You know, So in
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: some way we need to create a safe space for
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: people to be able to talk about this and do
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: something about it. But at the same time, this is
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: weird af Okay.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: It is, I bet because now you can do like
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: therapy online and you can do it on a phone
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: with or without video, so they can't see you. If
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: you have this thoughts, try that way. Try to do therapy.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Are we getting notes? No, I'm getting notes, Thank you, Amy.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: I mean Amy's sending me notes. You're got your gut.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: I kind of like, what are we doing? Is she
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: is she trying to give us a clue that she
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: has She's like rot, No, she's not. I thought she was.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I thought she was telling that she was having these
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: thoughts and she was asking for help.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Jeffrey Dahmer really did talk about this publicly, like in
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: interviews and stuff like this, you know, because I do
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: think that if Jeffrey, if it had been fifteen twenty
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: years later, may not have had the same story that
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: he had to be quite frank, maybe not. We know
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: it could be wrong, but you know he was pretty open,
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: uh about that about that sort of stuff. But also like,
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: how do you tell a therapist like yeah, the visceral?
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: You know. Anyway, So my closing thoughts, oh boy, do
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: I have a lot of thoughts? Well, questions? Really is
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: really I have so many questions. So if you are
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: a necrophile, I will anonymously talk with you about it
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: because I have a lot of questions because I am curious.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: I am too, you know, because she pretty much applied
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: that there was a whole necrophile scene in the seventies
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: and eighties. Okay, she very much. We all heard the interview.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I said those words, and she said it was pretty prominent,
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: and that was before the Internet. Like, I can only
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: imagine how that particular community has grown since then, now
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: that you can communicate with people around the world and
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: you can converse with people who have these urges and tendencies, Like,
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: do you.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Think that there's an underworld society like there is for
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: like petties and stuff?
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: I mean, do you think there's like a necrophilia cone
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: or something? Maybe maybe I don't think we should throw
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: though I'm going to say no, I know we should
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: put necrophiles in with pedos.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Those are very no But I'm just I shouldn't say,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: but do you think there's that kind of underground because
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: it is so taboo?
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: I think so with the Internet there's there's I mean.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Just scatting is very taboo, and I know there's an
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: underground scatting world.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: You know, how how rampant is necrophilia. I mean, if
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: she's talking in the seventies and eighties so casually that
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: she's even had these conversations with boyfriends, co workers. This
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: was in the seventies and eighties, I think imaginably. Yes,
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: I agree, I think so. So how RAMPA is necrophilia?
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: I would like to know. I know there are also
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: legal and moral debates around the subject, which I do
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: find to be very interesting as well, because when I
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: was researching laws in various states, you know, particularly like
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: does personhood exist after someone has died? You know, does it?
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: I mean to some people yes, maybe religious people yes,
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: maybe the non religious people know it's it's a great area, right.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: And then the standard criminal sexual conduct laws typically require
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: a live person to be a victim, and a dead
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: body cannot consent or suffers. So when they give you
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: GHB are a person they're dead, do they even qualify
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: as a person in the first place? They're dead? That,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: you know, it's very interesting to debate side. Now I
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: find this morally irrehensible, I do, but do find the
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: the debates, the legal debates, the philosophical debates about this
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: very interesting. Brought up a lot of things that you
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: know at first are republishing is mood, but then when
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: you read, you're like, oh, that is that is interesting.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: I'm also a philosophy nerd. So there's that.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Now you've got my brain going because that goes along
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: the same lines. It's like termination of pregnancies.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Are they right? Oh my goodness, thank you all freaking night.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: I mean, as much as I would like to take
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: all of everything we discussed tonight and throw it in
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: my brain's recycling, then I know I'm going to be
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: thinking about this for weeks to come. If I mean,
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: who am I kidding? It's never going to go away.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I think once we've learned this, it's not going it's
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: not going out of there. So why do we change course? Okay,
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: let's just change course and get to everybody left?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Probably, why don't you tell everyone where they can watch
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you every Monday through Friday.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Sure, where I don't talk about necrophilia. So yeah, you
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: can find me right here on our do Let me
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: do this real quick. There we go, right here on
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: our True True Crime and Winetime YouTube channel, you can

- 1:12:33Speaker 2: covering the Karen Reid trial, Take two, which I have
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: watched a lot of trials, and I have never seen
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: these shenanigans before. It is truly one of the most
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: unbelievable trials I have ever ever witnessed, Like it's every day.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I am just sitting there like, why are we even here?
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: This is wild. I also just started Couch Court with

- 1:13:31Speaker 2: our YouTube channel, ready to watch and covering all the
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: updates coming out of the courtroom with Sean Diddy Combs.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: It is very disturbing and I hate this guy, but
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: new episodes come out every night that court is in session.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: We're already on day four and if you're not cut up,

- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Look at that, there's me this iss Yeah, I mean,
