- 0:11Speaker 1: Minus the distraction.
- 0:13Speaker 2: I'm getting money, you.
- 0:16Speaker 1: So, uh, I'm No Face Ralph.
- 0:18Speaker 3: And this is Shoot the Artist.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Welcome to Minus the Distraction. Man, how the hell has
- 0:24Speaker 1: the week been, though?
- 0:26Speaker 3: The week been good so far. You know, I can't complain.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I got a couple breakthroughs going on. You know, I
- 0:32Speaker 3: applied to some art events. Let's see if they pick
- 0:37Speaker 3: me up. We'll see where we go from there. So
- 0:39Speaker 3: I'm feeling optimistic. You know, the first of the month,
- 0:43Speaker 3: I'm going to do that cinnamon. How's your week?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Week and night. You know, I get up early in
- 0:49Speaker 1: the morning, so it's like 40 degrees when I get up.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Jeez.
- 0:54Speaker 1: By the time the afternoon is like 70 degrees, I'm like, yo,
- 1:01Speaker 1: what's the word?
- 1:02Speaker 4: I need to build this day, man. We got you
- 1:05Speaker 4: on the mic. Yeah, how was your week? My week
- 1:08Speaker 4: is good. So I just stay in focus every day.
- 1:13Speaker 4: And so let me say something real quick to everybody
- 1:19Speaker 4: listening right now. So whatever you're going through, whatever you're
- 1:24Speaker 4: trying to accomplish, keep going. Don't stop because things got difficult.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Don't stop because you don't see the results yet. Definitely
- 1:32Speaker 4: don't stop because somebody else doesn't understand the vision that
- 1:35Speaker 4: you have for your own life. Sometimes the biggest thing
- 1:37Speaker 4: standing between you and where you want to be isn't failure,
- 1:40Speaker 4: it's distraction. Distractions can come in a lot of different forms. People, relationships, opinions, drama,
- 1:49Speaker 4: social media, trying to keep up with what everyone else
- 1:51Speaker 4: is doing. If you're not careful, you could get caught
- 1:54Speaker 4: up watching everybody else's journey that you lose focus on
- 1:58Speaker 4: your own.
- 1:59Speaker 5: So stay focused. I have to learn how to say
- 2:01Speaker 5: that's not for me right now. I have somewhere I'm
- 2:04Speaker 5: trying to go. Everybody doesn't need to understand your decision.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Everybody doesn't have to agree with your direction. Sometimes you
- 2:11Speaker 5: have to make your decision. That's good for your future,
- 2:14Speaker 5: even if it's uncomfortable for your present. And remember this,
- 2:17Speaker 5: slow progress is still progress. You might not be where
- 2:21Speaker 5: you want to be yet, but if you're still moving,
- 2:24Speaker 5: you're still in the fight. So don't quit.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Take a breath.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Refocus.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Get yourself back on track. Whatever that goal is that
- 2:32Speaker 5: you've been thinking about. Whatever you've been putting off. Whatever
- 2:35Speaker 5: you've been telling yourself you're going to start tomorrow. Start it.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Start that shit. Keep going. Because you never know how
- 2:43Speaker 5: close you are to your breakthrough.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Minus. Minus.
- 2:51Speaker 1: That's a good way to start the episode off. You know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: bringing the energy and moving feet. Providing a message and
- 3:01Speaker 1: what we trying to provide for the people, you know.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And what we all about, you know. All about thriving, like,
- 3:08Speaker 1: not just surviving. So, stick with your guns and forward,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean?
- 3:13Speaker 3: Yeah, keep on blazing.
- 3:15Speaker 1: As we get into this week's distraction, man. Seeing that Wendy's.
- 3:23Speaker 3: What Wendy's do now?
- 3:24Speaker 1: So, Wendy's is closing about 300 locations. Whoa. due to bankruptcy.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Bankruptcy? I'm a large franchisee owner.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Wendy's?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, the lovely Wendy's. You feel me?
- 3:39Speaker 3: What?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Now, you remember when Wendy's used to have the yellow
- 3:43Speaker 2: cartons back in the day?
- 3:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's when it was still good.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's when it was fire. I heard that they're
- 3:49Speaker 2: bringing it back around and stuff.
- 3:50Speaker 3: That's what they need to do.
- 3:52Speaker 1: And it was trying to revamp some things, but this
- 3:54Speaker 1: closing with a couple stores is kind of crazy. But
- 3:58Speaker 1: not only... That's not the only distraction. You got Starbucks.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Starbucks? They closing about 250 stores. Yo, what's going on?
- 4:06Speaker 3: Why they closing? They going through bankruptcy too?
- 4:09Speaker 1: They got like a reconstruction for the company that they doing.
- 4:12Speaker 2: They trying to re-strategize.
- 4:15Speaker 3: A little revamp?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yeah. It's only about 1% of their stores. They got
- 4:20Speaker 1: about 18,000 locations in America. They going to be alright.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It's just a little strange.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You know, It's just a continuation with a lot of
- 4:31Speaker 1: these stores that be closing. It's not just be one
- 4:34Speaker 1: or two. It's like hundreds.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Hundreds.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So, like, catch people off track, you know, and people
- 4:42Speaker 1: be wondering, you know, is it about all the stores
- 4:46Speaker 1: about to close? Or, you know.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Are they going out of business? Is it going on? Like, no.
- 4:51Speaker 3: What's the numbers on Starbucks? But they got, like, 1,800 stores. 18,000.
- 4:53Speaker 1: 18,000.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Wow.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah. That changes the game. What's 200 stewards? 300?
- 5:04Speaker 3: 200 stewards?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't think it's anything to worry about. You know,
- 5:10Speaker 1: they got people getting distracted by it. You know, what's
- 5:13Speaker 1: the most distractions you got going on this week?
- 5:17Speaker 3: Well, my distraction is more like a life distraction. You know,
- 5:22Speaker 3: it's called the convenience spend. You know, we all have them.
- 5:26Speaker 3: You know, that person that calls us when They in
- 5:29Speaker 3: a messed up mood. They down bad. They need help.
- 5:32Speaker 3: They need an ear to listen. They need a shoulder
- 5:35Speaker 3: to cry on. We be there for that person. But
- 5:37Speaker 3: that person be never there for us.
- 5:39Speaker 1: That's right.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And it's more than just a bad relationship. This is
- 5:44Speaker 3: where it becomes a distraction because it takes your actual energy.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Because you know you care about this person. It might
- 5:51Speaker 3: be a loved one, X, Y, Z, someone close to you.
- 5:54Speaker 3: You love this person. So you reserve an X amount
- 5:56Speaker 3: of energy to comfort them when they down bad. You
- 6:00Speaker 3: could be using that energy for something more productive or
- 6:04Speaker 3: someone more productive. Someone instead of bringing you the problem,
- 6:07Speaker 3: they're bringing you solutions. They're bringing you building creative energy,
- 6:12Speaker 3: something that's synergy. Instead of just like, hey, they always like,
- 6:15Speaker 3: we all got these problems. You know, we all got
- 6:18Speaker 3: life problems and stuff like that. But different people don't
- 6:21Speaker 3: just dump it on you. And then it's like, you
- 6:24Speaker 3: don't get the reciprocation on that.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You know?
- 6:28Speaker 3: So that's a real distraction that we all go through.
- 6:33Speaker 3: So has there been any times in your life where
- 6:35Speaker 3: you had this convenience, friend, and you realized for what
- 6:39Speaker 3: it was or did the situation get too crazy where
- 6:41Speaker 3: you was like, I got to cut it off?
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I definitely had a couple situations where it's like, quote,
- 6:48Speaker 1: the energy deposits that we all have. And if you
- 6:53Speaker 1: give out your energy, too much of your energy deposits,
- 6:56Speaker 1: what you're going to have left for yourself. You feel me?
- 6:59Speaker 1: And you find yourself being drained mentally by certain situations
- 7:05Speaker 1: where it's like, I got to put my hands up
- 7:08Speaker 1: that back from this situation. And I no longer can
- 7:12Speaker 1: help you with this situation because at this point, I'm
- 7:15Speaker 1: enabling you to continue with your bullshit, your nonsense. You
- 7:19Speaker 1: know what I mean? So it's like, it comes to
- 7:21Speaker 1: a point where it's like, I got to worry about
- 7:24Speaker 1: my energy and my situation. Like you said, I got
- 7:26Speaker 1: to worry about good people, people that's going to be
- 7:29Speaker 1: pouring back into my deposits, you know? That's how it's
- 7:32Speaker 1: supposed to be. Like you said, the reciprocation. Supposed to
- 7:35Speaker 1: be able to work with each other. But if you
- 7:37Speaker 1: find yourself in situations where people are draining, they're suffering this,
- 7:42Speaker 1: you know?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And it gets to a point where it's just like,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I got to go my separate way and not saying
- 7:49Speaker 1: that we might have beef or anything, but it's just like,
- 7:53Speaker 1: I no longer have you in my sight for like that,
- 7:56Speaker 1: you know, and it'd be some shit where it's like,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I see you when I see you, we get up
- 8:01Speaker 1: for certain events and all that, but nah, like I'm
- 8:03Speaker 1: not about to be around you.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I already know what type of energy, type of vibe
- 8:08Speaker 2: you have, you know?
- 8:10Speaker 4: So.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Nah, that's the fact, you know, and to add another thing,
- 8:14Speaker 3: it depends on After you talk to them. You know.
- 8:21Speaker 3: After the first couple conversations.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Do you feel.
- 8:23Speaker 3: More like yourself. Or do you feel like. Less than yourself.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Do you feel drained. Or do you feel fulfilled.
- 8:28Speaker 2: After these conversations.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Because.
- 8:31Speaker 3: That's a good indicator. To decide. If you want to identify. Whether.
- 8:36Speaker 3: You got convenience. Friends in your life. So yeah. Get
- 8:39Speaker 3: that distraction.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Out the way.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Or.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So. He's saying. With the streamer. His name's. Caliber. Caliber. Caliver? Yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 1: so Caliver, so he's been reported with charged with rape, drugging,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and furnishing alcohol to minors. And he recently had a stream,
- 8:59Speaker 1: a couple streams with, you know, there's some little foul
- 9:03Speaker 1: things going on there. So one of the videos that
- 9:06Speaker 1: recently went viral, he got a video of him at
- 9:10Speaker 1: like a party or something, at a house party, and
- 9:12Speaker 1: he's pouring milk on a girl, and he's punching her
- 9:16Speaker 1: in the face, and he's he's just doing a lot
- 9:19Speaker 1: of foul, foul stuff. And then there's also another video
- 9:23Speaker 1: that went viral with him giving drugs to a minor
- 9:27Speaker 1: as well. You know, girl was 17. He was 19
- 9:29Speaker 1: at the time. And he's being found, you know, he's getting,
- 9:34Speaker 1: he's locked up right now for that. I just feel
- 9:36Speaker 1: like guys like this, you know, got too much privileges
- 9:40Speaker 1: in their life, you know.
- 9:41Speaker 3: What the hell?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Too much money, too much, you know, that silver spoon,
- 9:46Speaker 1: I call it, you know. And, they feel like they're
- 9:49Speaker 1: invincible and feel like they can just do whatever they want.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I feel like it's a lot of these streamers and
- 9:54Speaker 1: content creators that just feel like they got too much
- 9:57Speaker 1: power and they try to just abuse it. And I
- 10:02Speaker 1: feel like it's a huge distraction because, like I said,
- 10:04Speaker 1: the video is going viral. Everybody's putting their points in
- 10:07Speaker 1: and whatnot. And a lot of people was saying, like,
- 10:09Speaker 1: he's a fucking asshole, you know. And I hope, you know,
- 10:13Speaker 1: his arrangement is on October 14th.
- 10:15Speaker 3: So we're going to see what happens. Yeah, that's freaking crazy. Yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 3: he gotta go. He need, like, at least 20 years.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Like, what are you doing out here? He's after the community.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Word.
- 10:30Speaker 2: We're seeing some other distractions here.
- 10:33Speaker 1: We got a mayor from Minnesota, and he's already, like,
- 10:38Speaker 1: gaining some discrepancy, you know, coming into office.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So she wants to brand herself as a mill.
- 10:46Speaker 4: A what?
- 10:48Speaker 2: She wanted to brand herself as a MILF.
- 10:49Speaker 3: What do you mean a MILF?
- 10:51Speaker 1: Well, I mean... What? I mean.
- 10:53Speaker 3: A mayor?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yeah, this is what she wanted to brand her. And
- 10:58Speaker 1: not only that, she started to crack jokes about the,
- 11:02Speaker 1: you know, the police chief, you know, his private.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Whoa.
- 11:08Speaker 1: And she started to joke to emphasize the size or something.
- 11:12Speaker 1: What the fuck? And she started to feel on this man.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So, now, she's getting, she's getting filed with sexual harassment
- 11:27Speaker 1: from the police chief.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And, if you see how she look, you will not
- 11:33Speaker 2: think she's a noob.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I can tell you that. And, I would be filing
- 11:39Speaker 1: that sexual harassment suit as well.
- 11:42Speaker 3: If I was the police.
- 11:43Speaker 1: You're going to have to take the abuse. You're going
- 11:45Speaker 1: to have to take the abuse. How she look. But yeah.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I feel like it's the distraction. Got the internet buzzing
- 11:53Speaker 2: right now.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Definitely.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Definitely.
- 11:56Speaker 1: The fact. Her name. Mayor.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Rowley.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Her.
- 12:02Speaker 5: Is.
- 12:02Speaker 1: So. I said. Single pictures. They. Is not a milk.
- 12:07Speaker 1: A huge distraction. This week. I don't know. It shows me.
- 12:10Speaker 3: It shows nothing. You're ill.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Real.
- 12:14Speaker 3: She.
- 12:19Speaker 2: So, any more distractions we got this week from you?
- 12:23Speaker 3: No.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So, what we got in the group chat today are.
- 12:38Speaker 5: We got in the group chat, we got Erica from Amsterdam.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Erica asks, What is a daily routine that actually helps
- 12:49Speaker 5: reduce burnout? Like when you're constantly tired, mentally drained, or
- 12:53Speaker 5: dealing with fatigue. What are some things you could do
- 12:58Speaker 5: every day to recharge and feel more focused?
- 13:03Speaker 3: Good question, Erica. My advice on that is to do
- 13:09Speaker 3: some meditation. Find a quiet place and just spend some
- 13:15Speaker 3: time alone and just put the technology down and just,
- 13:18Speaker 3: you know, reflect and just, you know, just escape it all.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Just unplug from everything. You know, just stop the grind
- 13:27Speaker 3: because this matrix got us running and jumping and stuff
- 13:32Speaker 3: like that. It's never enough time to just sit down
- 13:34Speaker 3: and relax. Sometimes you got to intentionally unplug and just
- 13:39Speaker 3: be there and exist. You know, it's small, but you
- 13:43Speaker 3: do that enough times every day, you're going to start
- 13:45Speaker 3: looking forward to that 30 minutes or hour just solitude.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And to piggyback on pretty much what he was saying,
- 13:55Speaker 1: out of my day, I take an hour to decompress,
- 13:59Speaker 1: to reflect on my day, and pretty much just to
- 14:02Speaker 1: see what I did wrong, what I did right, was
- 14:04Speaker 1: it a good day? And then also I take a
- 14:07Speaker 1: look at my forecast of my future, what I want
- 14:10Speaker 1: to do and what I want to accomplish coming forward.
- 14:13Speaker 1: And I kind of just sit there and just have
- 14:14Speaker 1: a mental break And just relax. Take, you know, calm breaths.
- 14:19Speaker 1: And just kind of just monitor everything around me. Just
- 14:24Speaker 1: be aware. Just be present in my space. And know
- 14:27Speaker 1: exactly where I'm at at this particular time. Just chill out,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you know. You got to have that mental break. Like,
- 14:35Speaker 1: it's really important. You know, just take that time. Like
- 14:38Speaker 1: you said, we're running around all the time. Like, it's
- 14:43Speaker 1: a nonstop. Everything is coming at you quick. So you
- 14:46Speaker 1: got to always find that time to put the phone down,
- 14:50Speaker 1: turn the TV off, be able to sit in that
- 14:52Speaker 1: room and just solitude. But yeah, that was a good question, Erica.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I hope our answer was able to satisfy you and
- 15:00Speaker 1: you were able to apply that to your life.
- 15:02Speaker 2: And I guarantee you, you will see some results.
- 15:07Speaker 1: All the other people in the group chat, like I said,
- 15:10Speaker 1: drop it in the comments on the Instagram, you know,
- 15:13Speaker 1: the YouTube, wherever. Wherever our platform is at, man, drop
- 15:17Speaker 1: the comments below. We'll get the questions. You know, let's
- 15:23Speaker 1: get it. So, you know, the craziness going on in
- 15:29Speaker 1: the world.
- 15:30Speaker 2: We got the hype, the AI talk.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Listen, on today's AI talk, listen, we're going behind the scenes,
- 15:40Speaker 3: behind the screen, into the infrastructure, into what It really takes.
- 15:46Speaker 3: To make this AI revolution. Really happen.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Now.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Let's backtrack.
- 15:54Speaker 3: If you know geology. Then you know places like the Congo.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Have historically been. What's a good word. Illegally mined. You
- 16:06Speaker 3: feel me. From these foreign entities. And foreign companies.
- 16:13Speaker 5: And.
- 16:13Speaker 3: The AI revolution requires a lot of these mined resources
- 16:18Speaker 3: just to function properly. Y'all remember the cobalt. If you
- 16:22Speaker 3: don't know what cobalt is, cobalt is one of the
- 16:25Speaker 3: finite resources that's found in the Congo. It's one of
- 16:29Speaker 3: the biggest deposits of a lot of different minerals. Not
- 16:32Speaker 3: just the cobalt. You got the lithium. You got the zinc.
- 16:35Speaker 3: You got all these different components that go into the
- 16:38Speaker 3: back end of the AI. So, Every time you go
- 16:44Speaker 3: to generate something, even on a free subscription, it's somewhere
- 16:50Speaker 3: down the line, something has to be expected in order
- 16:53Speaker 3: for you to be able to let that AI create
- 16:58Speaker 3: what you want it to create. Listen, the UN just
- 17:02Speaker 3: dropped a recent report this year about the actual physical
- 17:09Speaker 3: infrastructure that it's going to take But it's AI. So
- 17:13Speaker 3: we're talking about the data centers, the power grids, the
- 17:15Speaker 3: cooling systems, the chips, the minerals, the land, the water. Listen,
- 17:20Speaker 3: it's already a massive scale. Now think about this. I
- 17:24Speaker 3: don't know how much a terawatt is. You feel me?
- 17:28Speaker 3: But in the last year, AI around the world has
- 17:31Speaker 3: consumed over 448 terawatts of energy.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Wow.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I can't even comprehend how much that is. I can't
- 17:45Speaker 3: even comprehend how much that is. But it's more than
- 17:49Speaker 3: the entire country of Saudi Arabia uses annually. So the
- 17:54Speaker 3: whole AI industry uses more than what a whole country
- 17:58Speaker 3: uses by itself. And it's only rapidly expanding. It's only growing.
- 18:03Speaker 3: It's only getting more and more massive. So what are
- 18:07Speaker 3: we going to do about it? That's the question. They
- 18:10Speaker 3: say by 2030, the researchers predict that that figure could double.
- 18:15Speaker 3: So instead of it just being 448 terabytes, it could
- 18:19Speaker 3: be like 800 or something. With AI doing at least
- 18:23Speaker 3: 40% of all the data power used. So all that
- 18:27Speaker 3: extra energy is just going to be AI by itself.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Just 40%. How does that make you feel? No faith.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Now, the use that you're Of all of that is ridiculous.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And to know what's the... When there's a cause, there's
- 18:49Speaker 1: always an effect.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Now, the effect is what the problem is.
- 18:55Speaker 1: We got a lot of chemicals and a lot of
- 19:00Speaker 1: waste and a lot of toxic that's in the air
- 19:04Speaker 1: that's affecting the people that's getting the cobalt. And that's
- 19:09Speaker 1: the huge problem right there. You got generations of people, babies,
- 19:14Speaker 1: you know, all that that's breathing this stuff in while
- 19:17Speaker 1: they're mining that, you know. And it's their lifestyle. So
- 19:21Speaker 1: it's like they don't have a choice but to mine that.
- 19:24Speaker 1: They don't have a McDonald's or a Walmart or anything
- 19:29Speaker 1: or infrastructure to be able to go apply for a
- 19:32Speaker 1: proper job. So those are the only jobs that's available
- 19:35Speaker 1: for them. And The only people that's really getting rich
- 19:39Speaker 1: is these companies, these huge companies. So I feel like
- 19:42Speaker 1: that's the big problem right there as far as with
- 19:47Speaker 1: the AI. Yeah, there's a lot of good things with it,
- 19:50Speaker 1: we gotta find a different way how to come up
- 19:54Speaker 1: with it you know and as far as with these
- 19:56Speaker 1: data centers and stuff like that we gotta be able
- 19:59Speaker 1: to find an alternative way you know and people are
- 20:05Speaker 1: going to be mining. And if that's the only way
- 20:07Speaker 1: that we could supply it and do stuff like that
- 20:10Speaker 1: and have the chips in the phones and building with
- 20:13Speaker 1: the AI, we got to do proper measurements. You know,
- 20:18Speaker 1: they got to have PPE wear on. For me, they
- 20:21Speaker 1: got to have masks on. They got to have gloves on.
- 20:23Speaker 1: They got to have all that on. We do it
- 20:26Speaker 1: here in America with anything that we're doing, coal or
- 20:30Speaker 1: anything that we're doing here that's manufactured.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Why they can't get the same proper treatment over there?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 20:37Speaker 2: It don't cost that much to send a couple gloves, mask,
- 20:40Speaker 2: and all that.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to take some bread out of it,
- 20:43Speaker 1: but it's for the end goal.
- 20:46Speaker 2: The end goal is for everybody just to go home,
- 20:49Speaker 2: live properly.
- 20:50Speaker 1: You feel me?
- 20:51Speaker 4: Yes.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And that's the only downfall I can stay with.
- 20:55Speaker 3: To add on to that, You know, everybody wants you
- 21:00Speaker 3: to do your research on this term. It's called artisanal mining.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Everything No Face just described, that's what artisanal mining is.
- 21:09Speaker 3: It sounds fancy. It sounds like a nice cup of coffee,
- 21:13Speaker 3: a nice fancy tea with a crumpet. No. This is grueling,
- 21:17Speaker 3: grueling work.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Okay?
- 21:19Speaker 3: Go look up artisanal mining. And on top of that,
- 21:22Speaker 3: we got these super companies buying up the land and
- 21:27Speaker 3: using the water on the land to fund the data center.
- 21:32Speaker 3: You know, so now local economies is losing their water
- 21:35Speaker 3: sources or their water sources is getting contaminated. And on
- 21:39Speaker 3: top of that, local economies is subsidizing electricity that's being
- 21:45Speaker 3: used to run the data center. How your bill go
- 21:48Speaker 3: up $ 300, $ 400. You barely be home. Most of us
- 21:52Speaker 3: be out at the job working. Sure. I just want
- 21:59Speaker 3: to let y'all know, there's a lot of real risk
- 22:02Speaker 3: in AI. It's not just software. It's very physical. It's
- 22:06Speaker 3: very real. You can really see the real-world effects that
- 22:11Speaker 3: this is taking on humanity. So if you're going to
- 22:14Speaker 3: use AI, use it in a productive way. Use it
- 22:17Speaker 3: in a way that you could probably make some money,
- 22:19Speaker 3: go over there and help establish some of that infrastructure
- 22:22Speaker 3: and help out. You know, we can make humane... humane
- 22:27Speaker 3: humane ai we can make it to where people don't
- 22:31Speaker 3: have to be risking their lives just to mine this
- 22:35Speaker 3: stuff like nobody said they could have the proper tools
- 22:38Speaker 3: and stuff we can make this a real reality and
- 22:41Speaker 3: it's in the congo they got a mountain mountains of
- 22:45Speaker 3: this these minerals there's plenty of money to go around
- 22:50Speaker 3: the whole world can have ai technology And for the low, honestly.
- 22:56Speaker 3: But because there's so much illegal mining and infrastructure out there,
- 23:01Speaker 3: everything is so expensive now. Because guess what? You got
- 23:04Speaker 3: to compete for all these different nations to get this
- 23:06Speaker 3: illegal source. Versus if it was legal, everybody would have
- 23:09Speaker 3: a constant supply. And that's my AI talk. Right.
- 23:15Speaker 1: So, the AI talk, that's saying, don't do your research.
- 23:19Speaker 1: See that it's It's real over here in the Congo.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I know that people enjoy their entertainment, enjoy their phones,
- 23:28Speaker 1: enjoy using the AI, but just know that there's people
- 23:32Speaker 1: that are suffering. So they say use it the right way.
- 23:37Speaker 1: So they're going into the lifestyle that today. And this week,
- 23:44Speaker 1: I'm going into something that's personal for me. You know,
- 23:49Speaker 1: like anxiety. You know, I think we all have that.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I think we all deal with that. I think that
- 23:57Speaker 1: we all have the wrong outlook on anxiety. You know,
- 24:02Speaker 1: a lot of us think of, they always frame anxiety
- 24:06Speaker 1: as like this bad thing, you know, where it's like
- 24:11Speaker 1: it's almost useless energy. You feel me? But it's much
- 24:17Speaker 1: more than useless energy. It's the way You reframe it.
- 24:23Speaker 1: And that's what we're going to be doing today on
- 24:25Speaker 1: the Lifestyle in Depth. We're going to be reframing the
- 24:28Speaker 1: thought of anxiety. And let me ask you something. When
- 24:35Speaker 1: you get anxious, where does it go? You try to
- 24:43Speaker 1: get rid of it, right?
- 24:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Converting it into something else.
- 24:48Speaker 1: You try to breathe it out. You try to calm down.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Expel it.
- 24:52Speaker 2: You try to suppress it.
- 24:54Speaker 1: But today, I want to give you a different option
- 24:56Speaker 1: because that anxiety might be the most valuable energy you own.
- 25:02Speaker 3: How so?
- 25:04Speaker 2: So here's the thing that nobody tells you. Anxiety and excitement,
- 25:09Speaker 2: they're physiologically the same.
- 25:11Speaker 3: What?
- 25:12Speaker 1: Same racing heart, same sweaty palms, same jitters. The only
- 25:17Speaker 1: difference is the story that Your brain tells about it.
- 25:21Speaker 1: So stop calling it nervousness. Call it readiness. Your body
- 25:28Speaker 1: is breaking it down. It's warming up. Same voltage.
- 25:34Speaker 2: You just got to choose the outlet.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:37Speaker 1: That anxiety, that's some energy.
- 25:42Speaker 2: You're anxious.
- 25:42Speaker 1: You're ready to do something. Now, if you apply that
- 25:47Speaker 1: into something that's right, oh, And that's something, like I said,
- 25:51Speaker 1: it's personal for me. I dealt with anxiety for my life.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You feel me? But now I'm able to, when I'm
- 25:59Speaker 1: anxious about something, I start to do some research on
- 26:03Speaker 1: what I'm anxious about and try to, like, especially in
- 26:07Speaker 1: the business, you feel me, or the content. I'm anxious
- 26:10Speaker 1: to get views and all that. I start sharing it
- 26:13Speaker 1: and finding different ways to market it and promote that.
- 26:16Speaker 1: And I use that. That anxiety turned that into some energy.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I reshaped that anxiety, turned it to a different source.
- 26:26Speaker 1: And let's go a little deeper. You know what I mean? Okay.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Everybody talks about managing anxiety, calming down, breathing through it.
- 26:35Speaker 1: That's cool. That works. But almost nobody talks about the
- 26:41Speaker 1: cheat code. Anxiety is creating energy that hasn't been assigned
- 26:46Speaker 1: this job yet. Think about anxiety, what it actually is.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Your brain is running stimulations, rehearsing threats, playing out scenarios,
- 26:56Speaker 1: imagining outcomes that don't even exist yet.
- 26:59Speaker 4: See?
- 27:02Speaker 1: Now, bro, that's literally a creative person does. You know,
- 27:06Speaker 1: a novelist imagines a world that doesn't exist. A songwriter
- 27:11Speaker 1: imagines a feeling and just gives it a sound. That's
- 27:17Speaker 1: all that is.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Now, anxiety and imagination are pretty much on the same machine.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Okay.
- 27:26Speaker 1: It's just pointed out in a different direction. You know
- 27:30Speaker 1: what I mean? Oh, same source. Like I said, just
- 27:34Speaker 1: a different outlet, different path.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Like I said, it's all, like I said, sweaty palms.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It's the same, it's the same shit. So when y'all
- 27:45Speaker 1: start thinking about the anxiety and These things that you
- 27:49Speaker 1: got to accomplish or something you got to do, work
- 27:52Speaker 1: on that. Use that energy to work on that. Don't
- 27:57Speaker 1: be over here frustrated like, oh, oh, oh. No, you
- 28:01Speaker 1: have to sit. Like I was telling Erica, you got
- 28:03Speaker 1: to be able to have that mental manifestation where you
- 28:08Speaker 1: can just chill out and really think about your day,
- 28:11Speaker 1: what you got to do. And that's where you can
- 28:13Speaker 1: use that anxiety, use that energy to help with a
- 28:16Speaker 1: lot of these things.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Now, that's powerful right there. You can't fake the calm
- 28:27Speaker 1: way out of the racing mind. But you can say
- 28:31Speaker 1: this is creative pressure. When your chest gets tight before
- 28:36Speaker 1: you create, that's not a stop sign. That's a green light.
- 28:40Speaker 1: The discomfort is the signal. Something is alive in you
- 28:44Speaker 1: that's trying to get out. Anxiety has a shelf life, though. Like,
- 28:50Speaker 1: your peak anxiety is your peak energy.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Most people waste it strolling, spiraling, like I just said.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Most people waste it.
- 29:00Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 29:01Speaker 1: The move. They open a notebook, the mic, the canvas,
- 29:07Speaker 1: and within a minute, it's a surge if you do that.
- 29:11Speaker 1: And you know that. You're an artist.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:13Speaker 1: You dealt with that.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:15Speaker 1: You dealt with that firsthand. You see the art around us.
- 29:18Speaker 1: That came from anxiety. That came from anxiety, and he
- 29:23Speaker 1: applied that to the canvas. Now, whatever you're anxious about
- 29:29Speaker 1: or telling you what to actually create, you're scared about money,
- 29:36Speaker 1: Write the song about being broke. Spiraling how people see you,
- 29:44Speaker 1: make a video about it. The way people see you,
- 29:48Speaker 1: you got to be able to apply it into different ways.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Be creative. I feel like us as humans, we We
- 29:59Speaker 1: belittle ourselves sometimes where we feel like we don't have
- 30:03Speaker 1: what it takes.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Definitely.
- 30:07Speaker 1: But that should be right in you. That should just be...
- 30:09Speaker 1: It has to come from within you. You got to
- 30:11Speaker 1: tell yourself, nah, I'm that nigga.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I'm that girl.
- 30:15Speaker 1: You feel me? I'm really... I'm really with it. You
- 30:18Speaker 1: feel me?
- 30:18Speaker 2: You got to be able, like I said, create and
- 30:21Speaker 2: do some things with that.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Now, the anxiety... means you care. Black people don't feel this.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Numb people don't feel it. If you got that electric
- 30:35Speaker 1: buzz in your chest, something wants you to make you be,
- 30:40Speaker 1: get into that mode. You feel me?
- 30:42Speaker 2: There's something inside you that will make you get in
- 30:44Speaker 2: that mode. That beast mode. The only question is, does
- 30:48Speaker 2: it come out as a panic attack or a project?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Like I say, same voltage, your outlet though. Minus the distraction, man.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Lifestyle in depth.
- 31:05Speaker 1: You know what I mean? I had to... Like I said,
- 31:08Speaker 1: it was personal for me, so I had to go
- 31:10Speaker 1: a little deeper into this lifestyle in depth for y'all
- 31:14Speaker 1: to really explain the meaning of anxiety and how you
- 31:17Speaker 1: can really switch that.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Nah, that was powerful right there.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I like that.
- 31:24Speaker 3: This is Minus the Distraction.
- 31:25Speaker 2: This is Shoot the Artist.
- 31:27Speaker 1: I'm No Face Brown. Minus. Minus.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I'm getting money.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You stay cool. Keep traction.
- 31:34Speaker 3: I'm moving lightly.
