- 0:41Hi there. Are you a
- 0:42contentcreatorquarter.tv? Sounds like the place for you.
- 0:47I can hear you thinking, well, what about YouTube?
- 0:50Let's face it, YouTube is all corporate these days.
- 0:54They don't care about the small creator.
- 0:56They don't care about how much work you pour into your content,
- 0:59how much time you spend making it better.
- 1:02All YouTube cares about are the big time media stars and people
- 1:05with tons of subscribers. Never mind the fact that they
- 1:09artificially inflate those subscriber numbers by paying for
- 1:12them. Never mind the fact that they
- 1:15will shadow ban you for something while the big names
- 1:17get promoted. Never mind that they claim
- 1:20freedom of speech but will ban you for having an idea that
- 1:23doesn't fall in with their opinions.
- 1:26Thank God for quarter. Quarter allows you to keep your
- 1:29voice and will allow you to grow.
- 1:31There's no algorithm, so you don't have to worry about being
- 1:35banned or having your content removed for something silly.
- 1:38At Quarter, you own all rights to your content.
- 1:42YouTube can keep its wannabe television nonsense.
- 1:45The future for contentcreatorsisquarter.tvrememberthatsquarter.tv
- 1:52where your voice is respected. The.
- 2:49The. None.
- 3:27None. None.
- 4:54None. The.
- 5:54The. The.
- 7:08The. The.
- 8:18The. Hello there everyone.
- 9:01Welcome to GOD TV Radio. Hope you enjoyed that jamming
- 9:06intro. I of course am TTOR and right
- 9:10here to my wait to my left is none other than Brett Keene.
- 9:15Say hello, Brett. Hey, you don't have to say left
- 9:19or right. Just say to my omniscience.
- 9:21See what I mean to my omniscience.
- 9:26Oh yeah, I can't tell my directions anymore.
- 9:29Must be catching up with me, my tender old age of my early 30s.
- 9:35All good. Well, it's late at night, man,
- 9:37At least for me. So it happens.
- 9:39It happens. And I did have a long day of
- 9:43working. My normal job as ATV producer
- 9:46basically worked from 9:30 to 7:00.
- 9:49So yay, it gave. Me an hour going for you, by the
- 9:53way. How's it been doing for you?
- 9:57Good. I got into the rhythm of how
- 9:59they were doing things, and now I'm in the process of making
- 10:02their shows and stuff better. Basically new intros, new outro
- 10:07credits, new lower thirds. Basically a way to make their
- 10:12program feel more like an epic drama rather than just like a
- 10:17typical church, you know, message or service you know, on
- 10:21a live stream. I was inspired in particular by
- 10:25the voice overs from all the episodes of Young and the
- 10:29Restless that my mom's been watching my entire life and
- 10:32beyond. Especially like the very
- 10:34beginning where they're like coming up on The Young and the
- 10:37Restless. So I got an AI voice to say
- 10:41coming up on Crossfire TV and then it launches into a preview
- 10:45clip of the message that they're going to.
- 10:47To get into. I'll tell you what, Young and
- 10:49the Restless had a pretty decent theme song too.
- 10:52Remember that soft piano? Oh yeah.
- 10:56Yeah, I only know it because my mom watches it almost without
- 11:00fail on a 5-6 day a week basis. That's still going.
- 11:06Oh yeah, they're still putting out new episodes.
- 11:08Still. Goodness gracious, I'm a bold
- 11:11and beautiful type myself. I I keep telling my mom that
- 11:15they should just call the show the perpetually young and the
- 11:18perpetually restless. They never stop being young and
- 11:24restless. Even when the characters from
- 11:26the old seasons get old, they got a whole new group to replace
- 11:30them, whose apparently every bit is restless and young.
- 11:33So yeah. Looks like our buddy Dark Moon's
- 11:36with us. Apparently General Hospital is
- 11:40what his aunt watched. I never watched that at all.
- 11:44Yeah, that intro was pretty tight and everything.
- 11:47I do have to ask, So what kind of fox was that?
- 11:49None of the foxes in my area and we got a lot of them, have that
- 11:52big of boobs. He was using AI art, yeah, he
- 12:01made that for quarter and he gave me permission to run that
- 12:04on the show. So that's why we saw that that
- 12:07wasn't part of my normal intro. No, that's cool, man.
- 12:11That's cool. Yeah, although he did inspire me
- 12:14to possibly do my own version of that.
- 12:16I just got to figure out the best way to do it.
- 12:20Oh, apparently she's not just an AI creation, she's a character
- 12:24from one of his novels. Well, that would explain it.
- 12:28A darkman's going to have to come in sometime.
- 12:30Talk to us about that. Yeah, he said his recording set
- 12:34his set up for like being part of live streams is no go until
- 12:38April, when he gets enough money to get a whole new set up.
- 12:41That works. Can't even use just a mic.
- 12:45I don't know. It's up to him.
- 12:50But anyway, before we get into the main subject of tonight's
- 12:55podcast, I would like to encourage all of you watching
- 12:59this right now, especially those of you watching the restream on
- 13:02Brett Keene's YouTube channel. I would highly encourage you.
- 13:07No, I would implore you. To go subscribe to Brett's
- 13:11Rumble channel, I know Brett has his Spotify radio station, and
- 13:18you should also do that there because he puts literally
- 13:21everything from the past and present onto that.
- 13:23But as far as a social media video sharing site, that's less
- 13:29censorious than YouTube and still has the potential to reach
- 13:32people in terms of numbers. Rumble is where you should be
- 13:36subscribing to Brett AT and you can see his channel right there
- 13:39on the screen. Brett Keene show pretty
- 13:43straightforward. You go scrolling through his
- 13:45channel and you can see that and as the videos get older they
- 13:49start popping the view counts. Especially this one here with
- 13:53over 1000 views and that one there with over 350 and.
- 13:58These all older videos have good view counts relative to his
- 14:03channel size of 19 Subs. So help Brett grow on Rumble and
- 14:08subscribe to him there, check out his videos there, Encourage
- 14:12him to put all his videos there as well as on his radio station.
- 14:17That's all I got to say. Well there there's actually 4
- 14:20channels that I've made on Rumble and one of them is called
- 14:23I Hate YouTube officially. And that actually is synced up
- 14:28with YouTube. It's got almost all of them on
- 14:30there. I see, yeah.
- 14:34You might want to rename that Channel so people can know it's
- 14:37you a little easier. Yeah, you know all the links
- 14:41will be found on the description of the videos.
- 14:44It's all good. All right.
- 14:47So now that we've gotten the essentials out of the way, you
- 14:51know, the quarter commercial, the banging intro.
- 14:55Encouraging you to go sub to Brett on Rumble.
- 14:58Now we get into the fun part, or at least what I consider the fun
- 15:03part of the oh, hold on a minute, Dark moon, says Rumble.
- 15:11Looks like it's got that same annoyance of not matching likes
- 15:14and dislikes with views that huge tube has.
- 15:16Yeah, that happened a lot back in Rumble's younger years and.
- 15:21On my channel, I haven't really noticed that occurring at all,
- 15:24but I guess it still happens in some cases where you'd get like
- 15:2810 views on a rumble video, but your video would have like 27
- 15:32likes and five dislikes. I remember seeing that in the
- 15:37early days of my Rumble channel and I'm like, OK, either they're
- 15:42deleting a lot of views or something's wrong.
- 15:50Thanks. Bring that up, darkman.
- 15:52But today we're going to be talking about atheist churches.
- 15:57And no, that's not a parody. That's not satire.
- 16:00That's not some kind of joke. I'm talking literal atheist
- 16:05churches. And if we get time later, Brett
- 16:08will talk about the connection between atheism and the Satanic
- 16:11Church. But I'm not even talking about
- 16:13that. I'm talking about literal
- 16:17atheist churches. But before I show you all the
- 16:21articles I have lined up on my browser that we're going to go
- 16:24through documenting these atheist churches, I need to show
- 16:27you guys a little challenge that the atheist YouTube professor
- 16:32Stick laid out years ago. He laid out this challenge in a
- 16:37video that you're about to see on screen.
- 16:40This video is called, Apparently, Atheists Worship to
- 16:44Gods. He put it out six years ago.
- 16:47Allegedly. Looks like he was right.
- 16:49He put it out 6 1/2 years ago and is at the minute 47 second
- 16:54mark where we see Professor Stick layout a challenge for the
- 17:00atheist. The first thing that they
- 17:02worship is the God of self. Looks like I guessed one right?
- 17:06That's really stupid. You know, nobody worships
- 17:08himself as God. What the fuck?
- 17:10What? You're claiming that there are
- 17:11people who are just like, welp, look at that.
- 17:13I'm God, I can do whatever I want, and I have magical powers
- 17:17and shit. No, nobody does that.
- 17:19Well, I don't want to make an absolute claim here.
- 17:21I assume that what you're saying is since people don't believe in
- 17:23a deity that rules over them, they must think that they have
- 17:26no boundaries. And then from some magical
- 17:28religious logic, you somehow think that that's the same thing
- 17:30as worshipping themselves as God.
- 17:32Ah, that's ridiculous. If you honestly think atheists
- 17:35worship themselves as God, then you got another thing coming for
- 17:38you. See, religious people gather in
- 17:39churches and pray with candles and shit.
- 17:41Let me know when you see an atheist build a fucking church
- 17:44and like thousands of candles while kneeling before a picture
- 17:47of himself. Then we'll talk.
- 17:50So get back to Professor Stick. When you have atheists creating
- 17:55churches, that's a very interesting challenge.
- 17:59Brad, I don't know about you, but I think I'm inspired.
- 18:04Is this guy? Is he popular or something?
- 18:07Is he important? 200,000 Subs, which is more than
- 18:10most of the atheist Youtubers that I've ever made.
- 18:12Videos. And he doesn't realize that the
- 18:14first Atheist church, Actual atheist church opened up in the
- 18:181800s. And there's literally dozens and
- 18:22dozens and dozens of churches that are open.
- 18:25Guess he's never heard of Madeleine O'Hare before.
- 18:29Apparently not, but because he told us to get back to him.
- 18:36I guess, I know it's six years later, but I guess we better get
- 18:39back to him. So first up on the dock and I
- 18:42got this BBC News article from February 2013 titled What
- 18:47Happens at an Atheist Church? And we even got a nice little
- 18:52picture here of what it looks like.
- 18:55I mean, it looks like it's taking place in an actual church
- 18:58with religious symbols, and you got a projector screen set up
- 19:02with some kind of math equation on it and.
- 19:06I see some sound equipment and I see a guy speaking and Oh my
- 19:09gosh, there's an audience 00 and I see like a set up for music
- 19:13and stuff. It's almost like a Christian
- 19:16Church. And according to the caption,
- 19:20he's given a science lecture at the Sunday Assembly, which is
- 19:23the name of this particular one. But let's let's read, because
- 19:27reading is fun and knowledge is power.
- 19:30An atheist church in North London is proving a big hit with
- 19:33non believers. Does it feel a bit like a new
- 19:36religion? No, I will give you that idea.
- 19:40Not many sermons include the message that we are all going to
- 19:43die and there is no afterlife. But the Sunday Assembly is no
- 19:47ordinary church service. Launched last month as a
- 19:50gathering for non believers, it is in the words of the master of
- 19:53ceremonies, Sanderson Jones. Part foot stomping show, part
- 19:57atheist church, all celebration of life, a congregation of more
- 20:02than 300 crowd into the shell of a deconsecrated church to join
- 20:06the celebration on Sunday morning.
- 20:09Instead of hymns, the non faithful get to their feet to
- 20:12sing along to Stevie Wonder and Queen songs.
- 20:15There is a reading from Alice in Wonderland and a PowerPoint
- 20:18presentation from a particle physicist Dr. Harry Cliff, who
- 20:22explains the origins of antimatter theory.
- 20:26It feels like a stand up comedy show.
- 20:28Jones and Co founder PIPA Evans trade banter and whip the crowd
- 20:31up like the veterans of the stand up circuit that they are.
- 20:34But there are more serious moments.
- 20:37The theme of the morning is wonder, a reaction, explains
- 20:40Jones, to criticism that atheists lack a sense of it.
- 20:44So we bow our heads for two minutes of contemplation about
- 20:48the miracle of life. Then, in his closing serpent,
- 20:53Jones speaks about how the death of his mother influenced his own
- 20:56spiritual journey to get the most out of every second, aware
- 21:01that life is all too brief and nothing comes of it.
- 21:06So basically, you have an atheist Church of 300 strong, at
- 21:10least back then. And they literally, they'd get
- 21:12together, they'd sing songs, they'd listen to a guy, give a
- 21:17sermon slash presentation, they take a moment to contemplate, I
- 21:23pray, and then, you know, have the usual fellowship afterwards.
- 21:29I don't know about you, Brett, but that's like every Christian
- 21:32Church I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot.
- 21:35The only difference is they don't pretend to worship God.
- 21:40Well, what's fascinating too, it's not just the church
- 21:43junction. I mean, you've been in some of
- 21:45my live shows where we've actually had an atheist.
- 21:48You do have some kind of view of spirituality and actually
- 21:51believe in ghost. Some of them actually believe in
- 21:54an afterlife. But who made it?
- 21:56Who generated it? They don't have an answer for
- 21:59it. Yeah.
- 22:02I mean, the Bible does teach that eternity is set in our
- 22:06hearts. And so I think that's why even
- 22:09you can find among atheists those who have, like a spiritual
- 22:13journey or like they feel like a spiritual draw, to pursue
- 22:17something that's greater than matter and energy in the five
- 22:20senses. You know what I mean?
- 22:22Do you like me to give you an example of a super popular
- 22:25atheist church that really got a lot of views in the news?
- 22:31Sure go. Ahead the People's Temple, Jimmy
- 22:35Jones. Yeah, Reverend Jimmy Jones.
- 22:40Yeah, it's funny too, because people who don't know any
- 22:44better, when they hear that, they think it was some kind of
- 22:47Christian cult spin off, but they don't realize he was an
- 22:51atheist. Oh, there's video footage out
- 22:55there of him slamming the Bible down and calling God a sky daddy
- 22:59and demanding that his congregation stomp on the Bible
- 23:03and all that. For those out there that don't
- 23:05know, he's the guy that killed over 1000 non believers.
- 23:09You know how they always say. He drunk the kool-aid Mr.
- 23:13Religious Person. But no, It was 1000.
- 23:15Atheists said dead. I'm sorry, yeah.
- 23:19I mean, they'd like to think that they are beyond the control
- 23:24of superstition and religion, as they, you know, like to claim it
- 23:28does. But apparently they're more
- 23:30susceptible to it than we are. Or or at least just as, oh, here
- 23:36it is, Bubble Gum said. Atheists are intentionally to
- 23:39cover that up. That's why the informed ones
- 23:42never bring it up. I think he's saying that in
- 23:44relation to the whole Jim Jones thing.
- 23:50Yeah, well, how you doing there, bubble gum?
- 23:53I hope you're having a nice night.
- 23:56All right, let's queue up the next one, which is, I think it's
- 24:03this one. Yes, it is.
- 24:06So here we got an article from The Economist, which came out on
- 24:10May 16th, 2018, called The Elusive Phenomenon of Churches
- 24:16Without God. Say what?
- 24:20When a group sings, talks and bonds like a religion, but may
- 24:24not be one. I'm sorry.
- 24:27If you walk like a duck, Quack like a duck, and behave exactly
- 24:31like a duck, you're a duck. So when you sing like a
- 24:35religion, you talk like a religion and you bond like a
- 24:39religion. I think you're a religion but
- 24:45oh, you cheater. Oh, well, I'm just going to skip
- 24:51this one because we're going to talk about that church later.
- 24:54So let's get into the next one, which I archived this one.
- 24:59So we are getting the full story on it.
- 25:03I think it's this one. Yes, this is AUSA Today article
- 25:10from 2013 November called Atheist Mega Churches Look for
- 25:16Non Believers. Now that is something that you
- 25:21would make you spit out your coffee if you're drinking any
- 25:24atheist. Not just atheist churches.
- 25:27Atheist mega churches. Apparently There's like the
- 25:31atheist version of Rick Warren, Oregon Joel Osteen out there.
- 25:35Bubblegum says at least admit their ideology as a religion.
- 25:40Well, they actually atheist did fight for it to be a religion
- 25:44and the courts have verified it. So it is officially religion.
- 25:48Not only that, they're tax exempt.
- 25:50If you're a part of that nonsense and you get tax
- 25:53exemption, it's a religion. Yep, I agree.
- 25:57And I did a video about that too, after you pointed that out
- 26:00in a video of your own few months back, Dark Moon says.
- 26:04I would say what they're craving is that relationship with God
- 26:08without actually including him. It's just a gathering of people
- 26:12like, yeah, we got to have that religious relationship with God,
- 26:15but not like that God guy. So that's just kick him out.
- 26:19And so let's make ourselves the focal point of this religious
- 26:22relationship. Anyway, back to this.
- 26:29It looked like a typical Sunday morning at any mega church.
- 26:33Hundreds packed in for more than an hour of rousing music and
- 26:38inspirational sermon, a reading and some quiet reflection.
- 26:43The only thing missing was God. Dozens of gatherings dubbed
- 26:48atheist mega churches by supporters and detractors are
- 26:52springing up around the US after finding success in Great Britain
- 26:56earlier this year. The movement, fueled by social
- 26:59media and spearheaded by two prominent British comedians, is
- 27:02no joke. On Sunday, the inaugural Sunday
- 27:06Assembly in Los Angeles attracted more than 400
- 27:09attendees, all bound by their belief and non belief.
- 27:13Oh God, that is so stupid when you say that similar gatherings
- 27:19in San Diego, Nashville, New York, and other U.S. cities have
- 27:22drawn hundreds of atheists seeking the camaraderie of the
- 27:25congregation without religion or ritual.
- 27:28Oh, I'm sorry folks, but you you have a religion.
- 27:31Don't try and mess that one up. You do.
- 27:34The founders, British duo Sanderson Jones and PIPA Evans,
- 27:37are currently on a tongue in cheek 40 Dates, 40 nights tour
- 27:41around the US and Australia to drum up donations and help
- 27:44launch dozens of Sunday assemblies.
- 27:47They hope to raise more than $800,000 that will help atheists
- 27:51launch their pop up congregations around the world.
- 27:55They don't bash believers, but want to find a new way to meet
- 27:58like minded people, engage in the community and make their
- 28:02presence more visible in the landscape dominated by faith.
- 28:07And what better way to do that than by becoming it?
- 28:10Yeah, and then let's see. I got a couple links for you as
- 28:16well, if you'd be interested in putting them up, if you wouldn't
- 28:20mind. We talked for a moment about
- 28:22this, but this even tells you that atheism is a religion and
- 28:28when one of the first in America was actually founded there does
- 28:33right there. A lot of people, I I don't know
- 28:35why they don't see the distinction.
- 28:37Maybe it's because it hasn't gotten enough press, but there
- 28:40you go. Just read the very top
- 28:42paragraph. You'll see it.
- 28:48Oh, I've got to get past the Wikimedia money grubbing.
- 28:52Oh boy. Damn, Griffin.
- 28:55We don't want to go public. They're losing money, in other
- 28:58words. Yeah, the very first pair of
- 29:08questions. So Brett sent me the you know
- 29:12what, let me, let me just leave this screen for a second and
- 29:17let's switch to the one Brett just sent me, because I don't
- 29:20see a harm in quoting Wikipedia. After all, anytime YouTube wants
- 29:24to claim that someone is putting out this information, they
- 29:26always put out a Wikipedia article on top of the video.
- 29:30So obviously Wikipedia is authoritative.
- 29:33Oh, I just love that damn Wikipedia first paragraph.
- 29:38Yep, Satanism is a group of ideological and philosophical
- 29:41beliefs based on Satan. Although several historical
- 29:44precedents exist, the contemporary religious practice
- 29:47of Satanism began with the founding of the atheistic Church
- 29:51of Satan by Anton Lavey in the United States in 1966.
- 30:00The Atheistic Church of Satan? Gee, I wonder what that was.
- 30:05If you go to if you go to the Satanic network or the Satanic
- 30:10Temple or the Satanic Church site, they all admit to be an
- 30:13atheist and doing their thing. So an atheist claim they're not
- 30:17associated with Satan on YouTube.
- 30:19Well, they are part of Satanism, so don't expect the truth
- 30:22exactly. Yeah, I don't think we even need
- 30:26to finish reading the rest of that paragraph, because I think
- 30:29the point was just made. Wikipedia says that Satanism was
- 30:33literally founded by atheists. Well, Levan, he's got videos out
- 30:38even though it was back in 19. What was it, 661969?
- 30:43Levan himself said he was an atheist and all of his members
- 30:47said that. So there ain't no way for
- 30:49atheists to get around that. Nope, no way around it at all.
- 30:57Here we go, Sunday Assembly, whose motto is Live better, help
- 31:04often, wonder more. Why would you do any of those
- 31:07things if there is no God? Whatever taps into that universe
- 31:12of people who left their faith but now miss the community that
- 31:15church provided, said Phil Zuckerman, a professor of
- 31:19secular studies at Peitzer College in Claremont.
- 31:22It also plays into a feeling among some atheists that they
- 31:25should make themselves more visible.
- 31:27For example, last December, an atheist in Santa Monica created
- 31:31an uproar and triggered A lawsuit when he set up a godless
- 31:34display amid Christian nativity scenes that were part of a
- 31:37beloved decades old tradition in the US.
- 31:40There's a little bit of a feeling that if you're not
- 31:42religious, you're not patriotic. I think a lot of secular people
- 31:46say, hey, wait a minute, we are charitable, we are good people,
- 31:50we're good parents, we're just as good citizens as you and
- 31:52we're going to start a church to prove it, said Zuckerman.
- 31:56It's still a minority, but there's enough of them now.
- 31:59So let me get this straight. You believe that you're good, as
- 32:04as good as we are, even though you believe in a worldview where
- 32:07good doesn't exist in a objective sense, and it's just
- 32:10subjective. And to prove that you're as good
- 32:15as you know we are, you're going to start a church to prove it.
- 32:19And you're going to model this church exactly after Christian
- 32:22Church services, minus the whole God part.
- 32:25Yeah, that's really going to show those Christians.
- 32:29And for those out there, Because eventually, inevitably, we're
- 32:33going to get some atheists who say, well.
- 32:35We don't believe in the supernatural and all that.
- 32:37Well, there actually is some atheists out there, and I just
- 32:40provided you the second link right there.
- 32:43It's Wikipedia again, the atheist gospel.
- 32:45So we can go with that, right? Yes, we will.
- 32:49But what you just said actually goes right into what I was about
- 32:53to read, as far as this whole atheist church thing back then
- 32:57went. That impulse, however, has
- 33:00raised the ire of those who've spent years pushing back against
- 33:04the idea The atheism itself is a religion.
- 33:08And I don't blame you guys. Because if you spend your whole
- 33:11time on the Internet trying to convince me and Brett Keene the
- 33:14atheism is not a religion, and then hundreds upon hundreds of
- 33:18your own brethren turn right around and start their own
- 33:21church and model it after Christian Church services, yeah,
- 33:26I think you'd be filled with ire as well.
- 33:30The idea that you're building an entire organization based on
- 33:34what you don't believe to me sounds like an offence against
- 33:37sensibility, said Michael Lucanio, a self-described
- 33:41atheist who was raised Roman Catholic but left when he became
- 33:44disillusioned. There's something not OK with
- 33:47appropriating all of this religious language, imagery, and
- 33:50ritual for atheists. Oh, wow.
- 33:54You mean when atheism shows its true colors as the religion that
- 33:58it actually is, you don't like it?
- 34:03Apparently Christians are so evil that we're responsible for
- 34:07all the problems in the world, but we're so good that they
- 34:11steal our rituals and our church services and sometimes buildings
- 34:17and basically copycat our church services.
- 34:20It is odd, isn't it? Claim religion is evil.
- 34:23Religion is the reason why there's so many problems in the
- 34:28world is their claim. So what is the solution?
- 34:31Make another religion. Yay.
- 34:34And copy it. Exactly like Christian Church
- 34:36services. Minus the God part.
- 34:39Yeah, I'll show them so. Anyway, that sentiment didn't
- 34:45seem to detract from the excitement Sunday at the
- 34:48inaugural meeting in Los Angeles.
- 34:50Hundreds of atheists and atheists, curious, packed into a
- 34:53Hollywood auditorium for a boisterous service filled with
- 34:57live music, moments of reflection, and an inspirational
- 35:01talk, and some stand up comedy by Jones, the movement's Co
- 35:04founder. During the service, attendees
- 35:07stomp their feet, clap their hands, and cheered as Jones and
- 35:10Evans led the group through rousing renditions of Lean On
- 35:13Me, Here Comes the Sun and other hits that took the place of
- 35:16gospel songs. Congregants dissolved into
- 35:20laughter at a Get to Know You game that involved clapping and
- 35:23slapping the hands of the person next to them and applauded as
- 35:26members of the audience spoke about community service projects
- 35:29they had started in LA. Once again, Brett, this sounds
- 35:33exactly like a Christian Church service down to AT the only part
- 35:37missing once again is the God part.
- 35:41Other than that, it's a carbon copy of Christian Church
- 35:44services. Oh, they got their own daycare
- 35:47as well. Where the children learn about
- 35:49their origin, they watch movies such as Planet of the Apes.
- 35:53You know the dancing rocks at the end.
- 35:59Volunteers passed cardboard boxes for donations as attendees
- 36:04mingled over coffee and pastries and children played on the
- 36:07floor. And what copycatting of a
- 36:09Christian Church service would be complete without passing
- 36:12around the Money Box or the donations?
- 36:16Well, we see a lot of atheists doing that on the Internet,
- 36:19don't we? Yeah, you got their own live
- 36:21dream sermon. It's all good, but you know,
- 36:24there's so many atheists out there that will claim that
- 36:26Christians are greedy and they're all about the money,
- 36:28especially those televangelists. And what do they do?
- 36:32They not only copy our church services, but they even copy the
- 36:35practice of passing around the offering plate.
- 36:39Yep, and there you go. I mean down to ATI mean just.
- 36:45The USA TODAY article in particular is especially
- 36:48hilarious because you read about everything they do in this
- 36:51atheist church and there's no difference between that and the
- 36:54Christian Church service other than the God part.
- 36:57It's just mind blowing to me. Even after all these years, the
- 37:01atheists would behave in this way and then turn around and
- 37:04claim we're not a religion. No, nothing to see here.
- 37:10We just lack a belief in God. We're not religious at all.
- 37:13Get back to us when you see an atheist make a church, you know.
- 37:18That does inspire me though. For a nice skit, have like
- 37:22Professor Stick in that clip of him speaking words like give
- 37:25back to me when you see atheist starting a church and then you
- 37:29cut to him with all these atheist churches and services
- 37:33going on around him. Well, TTR, TTR, you know that
- 37:37atheist church has been around for a long time.
- 37:40We discussed that. But do you know what made it
- 37:42officially a religion? Do you remember?
- 37:46Was it that lawsuit that you made a video about and that I
- 37:49made a video about the one involving prison groups?
- 37:52Yeah, yeah, that's something you should probably tell folks
- 37:55because they it may have been a while since people seen that.
- 37:58Educate them on it. Yeah, well, I just may have to
- 38:03find that after we go through this Time magazine article.
- 38:08Just got to. Remember, I got the atheists who
- 38:12like the ghosties in private chat for you.
- 38:15All right, hold on. Let me get this on screen.
- 38:21I do see 16 comments, so I better.
- 38:23I better actually go through them like a good host.
- 38:25You know what I mean? Oh gosh, Dark Moon.
- 38:33That's probably a required to be a member of their clergy bubble
- 38:36gun. Let's see.
- 38:41And then he said in response to our reading about their services
- 38:44are like the grifting carbon copy of a real church service,
- 38:50even if it's missing its most important centerpiece.
- 38:55Bubblegum makes a good point. If it's a religion, then it
- 38:58shouldn't be taught the fairy tales that atheists believe in,
- 39:01in schools such as evolution? Exactly.
- 39:04We're not a religion until it's tax time.
- 39:12Oh, that's so true and you were right.
- 39:16What Bubblegum was saying and if atheism is actually a religion,
- 39:20then when they teach evolution and billions of years in school,
- 39:23they're literally pushing the origin story of a religion down
- 39:27our throats, which apparently Christians are not allowed to do
- 39:30because it's the origin story of a religion when we do it.
- 39:34Very interesting. Not to get off topic or
- 39:39anything, but they have been allowing atheists to go in and
- 39:42talk about their views and schools as well as Muslims as of
- 39:46late. So it's getting pretty rough,
- 39:50especially when the Muslims start hearing the atheist say
- 39:53things that contradict their religion and then fight back.
- 39:57Then the atheists are like wait, oh, I thought we were allies
- 40:00because we were united against the Christians.
- 40:02What do you mean you're not for all the L GB, TQWTF rainbow
- 40:07stuff? Yeah.
- 40:12This this picture is really nice.
- 40:15First of all, I mean ask the camaraderie, the fellowship of
- 40:18non believers. On a clear, sunny July morning,
- 40:23as churchgoers all around Houston take to their pews,
- 40:26dozens of non believers are finding seats inside a meeting
- 40:30room in a corporate Conference Center on the city's West side
- 40:34to listen to a sermon about losing faith.
- 40:37But first, there's the weekly community moment.
- 40:41Remarks on a chosen topic delivered by the group's
- 40:43executive director, this time focused on how we're hardwired
- 40:47to read sensationalized news, as well as announcements about an
- 40:52upcoming secular summer camp. Wait, wait, atheists are doing
- 40:56summer camps now? Really.
- 40:58What? What part of Christianity won't
- 41:00you guys copy? Atheists have never come up with
- 41:04an original idea. And this whole, you know,
- 41:08announcement. That's also from Christian
- 41:12Church services because as part of my job, I put together a
- 41:16video where we take all of our announcement Flyers with all the
- 41:20events that our church is doing, and we make it into a slideshow
- 41:23in the beginning of the announcement video.
- 41:26Then we have like a a live intro video in the middle and then it
- 41:30ends with. And announcements video, where
- 41:32we have people up on stage in a recorded video going over
- 41:36specific events that are mentioned on the slideshow
- 41:39earlier in the video showing the Flyers on screen and all that,
- 41:43including, you know, camps and events.
- 41:46I keep, I don't know, it's Time magazine, It's BBC News, USA
- 41:50TODAY. No matter which legacy media
- 41:53source I go to, it's all saying the same thing.
- 41:56Atheist Church is not only a real they're modeled exactly
- 41:59after Christian Church services in virtually every detail.
- 42:03I mean, mind blown, guys, give me a moment to catch my breath.
- 42:10Well, bubblegum has corrected me, said they did come up with
- 42:14one idea that is unique of Christianity.
- 42:18So right there, you didn't spell it properly, but you get the
- 42:21point. There it is.
- 42:23Hey, goodness gracious. I wonder how that started too,
- 42:27at the first two guys are two ways.
- 42:29He just looked at each other and said, Yep, let's do it.
- 42:32Sounds like a plan. And then Darkman says their
- 42:38version of the 10 Commandments are probably written on scraps
- 42:40of bark with monkey scat. And genital mutilation.
- 42:47Hey, I mean, if they're going to copy everything else Christian
- 42:50Church does, let's go straight to the circumcision.
- 42:53But then again, circumcision has medical benefits.
- 42:56So really, I don't care if they do it.
- 42:59Oh, they they do have the It's called transitioning.
- 43:03Oh yeah, my mistake. I forgot.
- 43:06It's totally kosher now. And atheism.
- 43:08Oh, I can say that word, right? Kosher and atheism, in the same
- 43:17sense I'm offending somebody somewhere.
- 43:18Do you remember that? You remember for years they used
- 43:22to go off about, you know, babies getting circumcised and
- 43:26all that, and now they're all excited about people getting the
- 43:29whole damn thing chopped off. I I know it's like that.
- 43:34Used like 20 years ago or even 10 years ago, The stuff that's
- 43:38being paraded and celebrated now.
- 43:41Would not have been well received, put it lightly.
- 43:43They would have been viewed as bizarre.
- 43:45I would like to think, especially back in my high
- 43:47school days in the late 2000s and like the early 20 tens,
- 43:51which were my college years. But yeah, it's just, yeah,
- 43:56you're right. I remember a day when this stuff
- 43:57would have been shunned and now it's celebrated.
- 44:00It's like, my God, you people have gotten so depraved.
- 44:04So depraved. Exactly, exactly.
- 44:08Now where were we? Oh, yes.
- 44:11In between, a musician sings softly of Albert Einstein.
- 44:16Weird that you're singing about Albert Einstein in the atheist
- 44:19church when Albert Einstein wasn't even an atheist.
- 44:24Yeah, that's one thing that they they obviously haven't read up
- 44:27or educated. You know, one of my favorite
- 44:30quotes. The more I study science, the
- 44:32more I believe in God. Albert Einstein said that, Yep.
- 44:40The men speaking before the assembled gathering, Executive
- 44:44Director Mike Ayas, who regularly leads the group, and
- 44:47Jerry DeWitt, a visitor who heads a similar gathering in
- 44:50Louisiana, are both deeply familiar with the idea of Sunday
- 44:54ritual. Just a few years ago, they were
- 44:57Christian ministers active in the pulpit.
- 45:00Today they're both non believers leading secular Sunday services.
- 45:05So OK, OK, OK, so you didn't want to believe in God, but you
- 45:09totally liked being a pastor leading a church service, So you
- 45:13decide to do the atheist version of it, which is no different
- 45:17than the Christian version, minus the belief in God.
- 45:20Actually, that's a pretty seamless transition, Brad.
- 45:23That might be a good career move on their part.
- 45:25Well, it kind of answers the age-old question that atheists
- 45:28used to ask all the time, right? Why is there so many different
- 45:31religions? Why is there so many different
- 45:33denominations? Because people like you didn't
- 45:35like what was being talked about, decided to make up your
- 45:37own deal. Exactly.
- 45:40This is Houston Oasis. A church That's not a church,
- 45:44dude. If it's a church, it's a church.
- 45:45You can't have a church that's not a church, bro.
- 45:49Especially when your services are literally carbon copies of
- 45:51Christian services. It's a church.
- 45:54It was started in September 2012 to foster community within
- 45:58Houston Atheists, a group formed through the online social
- 46:01networking portal Meet Up that claims to be the site's largest
- 46:05association of atheists. Each Sunday, AS welcomes his
- 46:09congregants at the door before leading them through many of the
- 46:12motions of a religious service. While at least you're
- 46:14acknowledging that they're literally copying Christian
- 46:17Church services, there's music, meet and greet time, guest
- 46:21speakers, and ASS message which is part of a.
- 46:24Which is part Ted talk, part uplifting reflection on the
- 46:27wonders of the world, this world around us.
- 46:30But Oasis is careful not to get too churchy.
- 46:34Well, I don't know. I mean, you've gotten so churchy
- 46:37that I don't. I can't see a difference.
- 46:39So there's music, but no congregational singing.
- 46:46Well, that's different than the other ones we read about.
- 46:48There's time to shake hands with your neighbor, but no moment of
- 46:51silence. That's also apparently different
- 46:55than the other ones we read about, because while it has all
- 46:58of the markings of a church service, Oasis is designed to
- 47:01appeal to those who long for the rituals of old time religion but
- 47:06have lost faith in its doctrines.
- 47:08So it's not that you don't like religion, you just don't like
- 47:12that whole believing in a God who holds you accountable for
- 47:16the way that you live your life part.
- 47:18I guess that's the part you guys don't like when you're talking
- 47:20about not liking its doctrines. Weird things, I know.
- 47:25Just weird things. Totally coincidental.
- 47:28I see Oasis is one of a growing number of so-called atheist
- 47:32churches in the US. Most are connected to Sunday
- 47:35Assembly, a london-based organization on a globetrotting
- 47:38mission to launch 100 assemblies in 15 countries by the end of
- 47:42the year. About a dozen are already
- 47:44operating in the US. Almost twice as many are
- 47:47planning to open and that shows you all the different cities.
- 47:52Or are they? Sprang up and and oh, here we
- 47:54go. The rise of atheist churches is
- 47:57part of a growing willingness by many atheists to adopt secular
- 48:00versions of religious practices. Well, I think there's still
- 48:05religious practices when you do them.
- 48:08It's also the result of more everyday non believers and even
- 48:11clergy coming out as atheists and reflects a modest
- 48:15mainstreaming of atheism across the US.
- 48:19As one example, since a Supreme Court decision in May that
- 48:22upheld prayer before town board meetings, non believers and
- 48:25several communities have delivered the public invocations
- 48:28after the court acknowledged atheist right to do so.
- 48:32So you're not a religion, but then you take advantage of all
- 48:36the rights that religions have. Weird.
- 48:40Interesting. Have you heard the argument of
- 48:43atheist including Aaron Ross? This is interesting.
- 48:46They basically state that if Chris and kids are allowed to
- 48:50pray in school, then atheists should be able to pray to Satan,
- 48:54aren't it? But of course they'll turn
- 48:55around in the same setting and say, oh, but we don't believe in
- 48:58Satan, then why are you saying you're wearing to pray to Satan
- 49:01for in front of other children? Doesn't make a lot of sense,
- 49:05does it? No, it is not at all.
- 49:08Let's see. Don't get too churchy.
- 49:13God is catching. I like what Bubblegum pointed
- 49:18out. Clergy coming as atheist, so
- 49:21they are admitting they infiltrated churches.
- 49:24Well, I mean that's that's one way of looking at it.
- 49:26Sure, absolutely. Yeah.
- 49:28It's the whole thing that you've been reading that shows that
- 49:32they are. Some of them are even admitting,
- 49:34or at least the journalist or writer of Time magazine is
- 49:37saying, yeah, they adopted a lot of Christian rituals and and
- 49:42views. And then this paragraph says.
- 49:48But the very concept of an atheist church, and even the
- 49:51term itself, is an anathema to many in the movement.
- 49:54Some believe it's too much like the very thing they disavowed in
- 49:58the 1st place. Exactly.
- 50:01But see, that's the great irony, ladies and gentlemen.
- 50:05Atheists swear on a I guess they can't swear on a stack of
- 50:08Bibles. They'll swear that.
- 50:10Oh no, we're not a religion. We're not religious at all.
- 50:12We reject religion and the entire concept of it.
- 50:15And yet they're so religious that they literally start church
- 50:19services that are, well, they start atheist churches with
- 50:24services that are literally carbon copies of Christian
- 50:27Church services, minus the whole God part.
- 50:30Including, you know, singing and a sermon slash presentation,
- 50:34fellowship time passing around the offering plate, social
- 50:38programs that allow people to get out and have fellowship
- 50:41together and provide social services like churches do.
- 50:46Oh yeah, you've disavowed religion while practicing all
- 50:50the things you disavowed. Yeah, that's that's great.
- 50:56That's right. Well, don't forget the link I
- 50:58put in the private chat. This one will just cause you to
- 51:01get up and do a dance. It's so silly.
- 51:04Oh, don't worry, we're only 51 minutes in, so we're definitely
- 51:09going to get to that, the second link you sent me.
- 51:12But before we do, this is the part where you may be watching
- 51:16your. Our stream at this point,
- 51:18Thinking to yourself, OK, so you're reading all these
- 51:21articles from 2013, 2014, 2018 talking about all these atheist
- 51:28churches that exist, but but that was back then.
- 51:31I mean, surely they realized how counterproductive it is to have
- 51:34an atheist church because atheism is not a religion and
- 51:38they folded up shop, right? Right.
- 51:42Right guys. They.
- 51:44Totally folded up shop, right? Wrong.
- 51:48This here is the Seattle Atheist Church website.
- 51:52It literally says welcome atheist agnostic skeptics.
- 51:56You are all welcome here at Seattle Atheist Church.
- 51:59We call ourselves an atheist church because you will never
- 52:02hear anything supernatural promoted from the podium.
- 52:05Well, other than evolution and billions of years and Big Bang
- 52:09cosmology, and how there's allegedly no creator God behind
- 52:13the whole thing. That'll get preached from the
- 52:15podium, but yeah, that that creationism stuff, now, that
- 52:20Bible stuff. Now let's see, what else do we
- 52:24got here? I've actually never been to an
- 52:27atheist church website, so this is all new to me, Brett, and
- 52:30this is like my first time looking at it.
- 52:32How about we go to FAQ? No, the mission.
- 52:38They even have a creed. Oh, we're not religious at all,
- 52:42but we have a mission statement and we even have a creed just
- 52:45like Christian churches do. Seattle Atheist Church is a
- 52:51place where atheists come together to do church to address
- 52:59the big questions and celebrate meaningful life events with
- 53:03atheist ritual. I thought you guys weren't
- 53:06religious at all and that atheism wasn't a religion.
- 53:09What do you mean there's atheist rituals?
- 53:13And what was that about meaning and all that?
- 53:15I thought they didn't believe in objective meaning and purpose.
- 53:19I know, right? It's like, what the heck?
- 53:22This is like the Twilight Zone, right?
- 53:25We celebrate the values of atheism, critical thinking,
- 53:32scientific naturalism. And secular ethics by teaching,
- 53:37learning, and thoughtful discussion.
- 53:39Critical thinking? Really.
- 53:41That's a value of atheism. Is that why every time I go on
- 53:45YouTube to the atheist community, they're all parroting
- 53:48each other's words and they're all affirming each other's words
- 53:51in the comments section? They're literally talking like
- 53:54the Borg hive mind, but yet they're somehow the Critical
- 53:57thinkers. Resistance is futile.
- 54:02Scientific and naturalism apparently is a value, not a
- 54:05world view. So this is odd.
- 54:08Though what you just read though atheism by definition and the
- 54:12atheist would be the first to tell us on the Internet.
- 54:15It just means a lack of belief in deities.
- 54:18But that's so. Then what's the value of it?
- 54:22Yeah, those atheists need to contact the Seattle Atheist
- 54:25Church and really get to the bottom of this whole thing.
- 54:27We need to call them up right away and say, what do you mean
- 54:30atheists have values? Get the hell out of here.
- 54:34But let's get to the creed, because this kind of goes more
- 54:37into that Seattle atheist church was founded on the principles of
- 54:42scientific naturalism and secular ethics.
- 54:45Truth claims are attempted here and we stand ready to revise our
- 54:49thinking in light of new information.
- 54:52Now this is where they should put an asterisk and say unless
- 54:56the claims contradict evolution, billions of years, and Big Bang
- 55:01cosmology, then we'll reject that and we won't revise our
- 55:03thinking. They should add that asterisk
- 55:06There we attempt to be excellent to other conscious beings.
- 55:11We believe in good because good works in non mysterious.
- 55:19He kind of reminds me when Richard Dawkins started debating
- 55:23for the first time. He said atheists are gentle
- 55:26people. We believe in good because good
- 55:30works in honesty. What kind of tripe is this?
- 55:35We believe in good. Good doesn't exist, bro.
- 55:38It's subjective at best. What you consider good, others
- 55:42consider evil. You know, kind of like how what
- 55:44the Bible says is good you consider evil goes the other
- 55:48way. That's right, atheist Jeffrey
- 55:51Dahmer. That's right, atheist Jeffrey
- 55:53Dahmer thought cannibalizing human beings was a good idea.
- 55:58Ah, here we go. In order to be an atheist, all
- 56:03that is required is to not believe in God's but, but, but,
- 56:07but didn't you just say that scientific naturalism was one of
- 56:11the values of atheism? Don't you have to, like, believe
- 56:14in that to be an atheist? Am I missing something here?
- 56:21Brett is there like, I'm like world view to me, their friend.
- 56:25And it sounds like you actually have to believe in something
- 56:28other than not believing in God's in order to be an atheist.
- 56:31Because if you're telling me that scientific naturalism is a
- 56:34value of atheism, that I I don't think.
- 56:39Mere lack of belief in God's is enough to be an atheist.
- 56:42Well, that's what we've talked about, haven't we, TTOR?
- 56:45That's their positive assertion. That is their positive claim,
- 56:49therefore putting themselves in a position of burden of proof.
- 56:55Let's see, at Seattle Atheist Church, there is no requirement
- 56:59to be a proclaimed atheist to join the church.
- 57:01In addition to atheist, many church members self identify as
- 57:05agnostic skeptic. Free thinker.
- 57:08Yeah, right. Formerly religious, secular,
- 57:10humanist or some other thing. Whatever you like to call
- 57:14yourself, you are welcome here. And that's so loving and
- 57:20tolerant. Once again, copying what a lot
- 57:23of Christian Church services are like, especially my church that
- 57:26I go to now because my pastor. And the church staff, they are
- 57:29always encouraging people to come to services and to get
- 57:33involved in our events that we do in our community outreaches.
- 57:36And we always talk about how we have love for the people in our
- 57:40community, which is why we do all these things.
- 57:42So how are you guys at the Seattle Atheist Church any
- 57:47different than the Christians you supposedly rejected and are
- 57:50nothing like? I mean, how are you any
- 57:54different? And what's the point of going to
- 57:57an atheist church if it's just a carbon copy of a Christian
- 58:01Church down to every dot and title?
- 58:04I mean, at that point you're better off just going to
- 58:06Christian churches because they're the original.
- 58:11They're saying that's the way I like it.
- 58:13I always like the original of everything.
- 58:17Yep, FAQ. This is interesting.
- 58:21I'm a plain and simple man. I don't like flavors in my tea.
- 58:27Oh God, they're calling Albert Einstein, but we'll get to that
- 58:29in a minute. FAQ, Who is welcome?
- 58:32You are. No matter what you believe or
- 58:34don't believe, you are welcome to attend our church.
- 58:37Many of us were raised in households where we were taught
- 58:39to believe in God, and we wish we'd found our way to a
- 58:42community based on reason much sooner than we did.
- 58:46So please come and join our community, whoever you are and
- 58:49whatever you believe. I know a lot of really smart
- 58:54people, Brett, including yourself, who believe in God.
- 58:58So I don't think a lack of reason is a prerequisite to
- 59:03belief in God. Well the irony OCTOR just
- 59:08earlier was it earlier today or or yesterday actually provided
- 59:12you a page of scientists, thousands of them, that are
- 59:17quoting that they believe in God and it actually gives you the
- 59:20resources. Any ass hat can go on the
- 59:23Internet and use a meme generator, put Albert Einstein's
- 59:26face next to it and have him say he's handsome with a big long
- 59:29tongue. But if you want something with
- 59:32actual sources and facts to back it up, I gave you the page.
- 59:36Thousands of scientists throughout time, all bleeding in
- 59:39God. I'm not laughing at you, I'm
- 59:44laughing the old bubble gum here in the comments section.
- 59:47First, he says, are they admitting they can't defend
- 59:49their world view? Yeah, probably.
- 59:52So he in response to the FAQ where it says all are welcome no
- 59:56matter what you believe. So bubble gun says no matter
- 1:00:00shows up in KKK outfit. I wonder how welcoming they'd be
- 1:00:08in that scenario. Brett sounds like a good social
- 1:00:11experiment. That's right.
- 1:00:14I should drive up to the Seattle Atheist Church like next
- 1:00:17weekend. There's not a way.
- 1:00:18I can't do that. I should drive up to their
- 1:00:20church after I take a week off from my church and go dress up
- 1:00:24in the KK outfit and just sit there and see what happens.
- 1:00:28Dark Moon says What's a reasonable about living in
- 1:00:31existence with no hope, and the ultimate end is worm food.
- 1:00:36How is that reasonable? Well, that's called nihilistic
- 1:00:39atheism right there that you're talking about, which is actually
- 1:00:42the most honest version of atheism.
- 1:00:44If you truly are an atheist, that's exactly how you'd have to
- 1:00:47think. Yep, and I would agree
- 1:00:51completely with that. Because if there is no God, then
- 1:00:54that means there's no objective moral standard that exists
- 1:00:57outside the human mind. Which also means that there's no
- 1:01:00such thing as objective good or objective evil.
- 1:01:04Nothing is good. Nothing is evil.
- 1:01:06Everything just is, and there's no objective meaning or purpose
- 1:01:12to your life or anybody else. We're nothing but chemistry
- 1:01:17waiting for us to fade out. That's it.
- 1:01:20It's. Just a big old chemical
- 1:01:22accident. So, I mean, sure, you can live a
- 1:01:24long life if you want, but if you want to end it all now, go
- 1:01:28ahead. There's nothing to stop you, bro
- 1:01:30boy, and that just make you want to go out and join an atheist
- 1:01:33church. Yay, yay.
- 1:01:38We are leaving behind alleged delusions for all new ones.
- 1:01:42Yeah. Sweet.
- 1:01:48All right, so let's get back to this FAQ, because I've never
- 1:01:51read this before and this is fascinating.
- 1:01:53Who gives the sermons? You do, Brett.
- 1:01:58I could be a preacher for a Sunday.
- 1:02:00I could go up there right now and speak there, they said.
- 1:02:03I could. They say I could give a sermon.
- 1:02:08There you go. Go.
- 1:02:09Give us, you should go get Well that'd be a long travel for you
- 1:02:12but you should go give a sermon there.
- 1:02:16There's a there's actually, I haven't really talked about this
- 1:02:19much in video, but there is a church in the area that is
- 1:02:22actually asking me if I'd come in and talk.
- 1:02:24And I said I'm probably going to get into a lot of stuff about
- 1:02:27The Big Bang and cosmology and all that.
- 1:02:30I put people to sleep. I don't know.
- 1:02:34I find this thing to you talk about stuff, so I think they
- 1:02:37would too, until they realize that you're not an atheist,
- 1:02:42especially if you really set them up for it.
- 1:02:44You talk like them and. Give them the impression that
- 1:02:47you're one of them and then you just slowly let it out.
- 1:02:49Yeah, You know, I, I. This stuff's all fascinating if
- 1:02:52it was true, but I don't really believe it because I'm.
- 1:02:55I'm not an atheist. Oh, here we go.
- 1:03:01Our weekly sermons are given by members of the congregation.
- 1:03:04Then the diversity of our speakers testifies to that.
- 1:03:07If you want to speak, we encourage you to speak.
- 1:03:10After the sermon, we sit in a circle and discuss.
- 1:03:15We pass a talking Unicorn and whoever raises their hand and
- 1:03:19holds the Unicorn is able to say anything they take or feel.
- 1:03:26Is this like an SJW safe space or something?
- 1:03:32I need to get my talking Unicorn so I can signify it's my turn on
- 1:03:36this podcast. Oh boy, we need to get one of
- 1:03:39those. If only we had Godless Girl in
- 1:03:43here. She carries around a little
- 1:03:44purple Unicorn. That's.
- 1:03:46Right. I can just grab her avatar and
- 1:03:47then it'll be my turn to talk. Oh no.
- 1:03:56Oh goodness, I actually got into an argument a while back.
- 1:04:02While you're looking for new information to put up there, I
- 1:04:05was talking to this atheist and he goes, so do you believe in
- 1:04:08unicorns and all that? And I said, now wait a minute,
- 1:04:11you believe in evolution, So how hard would it be for an animal
- 1:04:15to evolve a horn? It seems like there's a lot of
- 1:04:18animals like that. Why not?
- 1:04:19And that. You go ahead.
- 1:04:22No, I was just going to say Derpy derp, but go ahead.
- 1:04:25OK, and apparently some atheists believe in holding a talking
- 1:04:29Unicorn to be able to have permission to speak.
- 1:04:34Pass the Unicorn. My turn, My go ahead.
- 1:04:39Puff puff, pass. Oh wait, that's not a Unicorn.
- 1:04:43It's just a bong that's shaped like one.
- 1:04:47Oof, that's rough. You know, that would be the next
- 1:04:50logical step in this situation. I think you're passing around a
- 1:04:53talking Unicorn or not. Just pass around a bong that's
- 1:04:57shaped like what I would have thought if it's an atheist
- 1:05:01church, he'd be handing out a Chucky doll.
- 1:05:02But OK, unicorns work. Oh, that would be perfect too.
- 1:05:07Yeah, hold up your Chucky doll or whatever is Doll's call,
- 1:05:11because Chucky's the name of the villain.
- 1:05:13But but even has atheist quotes, doesn't it?
- 1:05:17I'll be your friend to the end. Stab.
- 1:05:20Stab. Stab, stab.
- 1:05:23No, that's a built in feature. He stabs you to death as he
- 1:05:25stalks. Yeah, while stabbing you.
- 1:05:28So don't worry, there's no objective morality.
- 1:05:30It's all good. The Darkman 75 points out
- 1:05:37reason, folks. Talking Unicorn equals reason.
- 1:05:41And they chastise us for believing in unicorns.
- 1:05:46Of course you. Actually study the issue.
- 1:05:50The unicorns that the Bible talks about in certain
- 1:05:53translations is actually a reference to the one horned
- 1:05:56rhinoceros, because if you look at the Latin term that's used.
- 1:06:01In the Latin version of the Bible, it's actually the exact
- 1:06:04term for A1 horned rhinoceros. Well, they used to.
- 1:06:08They used to get on the people for giants and all that, and we
- 1:06:12found skeletal structures, all that stuff.
- 1:06:14Dragons. They claim that birds came from
- 1:06:17dinosaurs. Why not?
- 1:06:19You know what I mean? Exactly.
- 1:06:21Or when they claimed that the Bible was wrong about the
- 1:06:25Canaanites being wiped out in the Old Testament because they
- 1:06:27found. Archaeological evidence
- 1:06:30supporting the existence of Tyree and Sidon completely
- 1:06:33passing over the fact that the New Testament says that Tyree
- 1:06:37and Sidon existed at the time of Jesus and that Canaanites were
- 1:06:41alive. Bringing the heat.
- 1:06:44Bringing the heat. Yeah, proving the Bible is true
- 1:06:48while trying to disprove the Bible.
- 1:06:52That was one of my favorite things I ever read in my entire
- 1:06:55life when it comes to like. Things that support the
- 1:06:58truthness of the Bible. That was one of the all time
- 1:07:01greats. We need to get in a Mosey with
- 1:07:06the Unicorn. That way we can, you know, pick
- 1:07:09different commenters out there. Give me Unicorn.
- 1:07:12In response to the talking Unicorn thing, Dark Moon says
- 1:07:15way to make me think you got your mental S together.
- 1:07:20I mean, can you visualize it? A bunch of people sitting there
- 1:07:23going, I don't believe in magic or supernatural, yet they're
- 1:07:26passing around a Unicorn. And not just.
- 1:07:29And not just any Unicorn. A talking Unicorn.
- 1:07:33That's a special Unicorn. They're special.
- 1:07:37They're. Yeah, those Christians are so
- 1:07:39stupid for believing in a sky daddy, they probably believe in
- 1:07:42unicorns. All right, here's the here's the
- 1:07:45talking Unicorn. Your turn to talk, That's for
- 1:07:48us. It's just the optics of that.
- 1:07:51It's just like what Let's continue, though.
- 1:08:00We try to listen, to understand each other, and to respectfully
- 1:08:03explore rational thinking together.
- 1:08:06There is no dogma other than an agreement that while being aware
- 1:08:10of our feelings is important, the best way to personally grow
- 1:08:13and improve the world is through applying reason to solve life's
- 1:08:16problems. But I thought your website said
- 1:08:21on the mission page that you had to believe in scientific and
- 1:08:24naturalism, which is dogma all to itself.
- 1:08:30I'm getting off track here though.
- 1:08:32Why do you call yourself a church?
- 1:08:35And then this is where they quote Albert Einstein.
- 1:08:37If at first an idea is not absurd, then there is no hope
- 1:08:40for it. You realize you're quoting the
- 1:08:44guy who says that the more he studied science, the more he
- 1:08:47believes in God, right? There's quite a few more quotes,
- 1:08:53but that's one of my favorites. I like to lay on him because it
- 1:08:56gets right to it. He's got long, long paragraphs
- 1:08:59in some of the books he's put out there.
- 1:09:01Just check out that side I gave you when you get a chance and
- 1:09:04you see what I'm talking. About I do have it.
- 1:09:06I do have it bookmarked somewhere.
- 1:09:07You're going to love it. You're going to love it.
- 1:09:09So whenever you're debating atheists in the future, which is
- 1:09:12inevitable, you'll have that. It's an incredible tool.
- 1:09:17Heck, I might even just make a video reading all the quotes and
- 1:09:19make it look good. There's almost 1000 of them.
- 1:09:24That's going to be a long video. I'll just pick like the best
- 1:09:27ones, I guess. You know, you're right, because
- 1:09:291000 would be just way too many. So he says a church is a
- 1:09:33community intentionally built around a set of shared values.
- 1:09:37That's one way to redefine a word.
- 1:09:39Seattle Atheist Church is devoted to the values of secular
- 1:09:43humanism. I thought you didn't have dogma.
- 1:09:48What's the difference between values and dogma?
- 1:09:52We do church without the cognitive dissonance.
- 1:09:54Oh, that's a straight up lie right there.
- 1:09:57They're so cognitively dissonant that they don't even see it.
- 1:10:02That's rough, lacking self-awareness.
- 1:10:06We believe that the time has come for churches to celebrate
- 1:10:10rational approaches. Wait, are we talking about
- 1:10:13Christian or atheist churches 'cause that would sound great in
- 1:10:16a Christian Church if you stood up and said that the time has
- 1:10:20come for churches to celebrate rational approaches to
- 1:10:23increasing well-being for all conscious creatures.
- 1:10:27In the Seattle area, there are over 800 churches.
- 1:10:29Shouldn't there be at least one church to go on a Sunday where
- 1:10:33you can hear a message of hope based on the power of reason?
- 1:10:37What about 80 atheist churches? The time has come.
- 1:10:42Well, you know there's a lot of Christian churches that are
- 1:10:44quite liberal in nature and say all the things that you atheist
- 1:10:48love to hear. So why would you even go to an
- 1:10:50atheist church when you can just go to one of those liberal
- 1:10:53Christian churches? Why?
- 1:10:55Why would you even go to an atheist church at that point?
- 1:11:00It just doesn't make any sense. I.
- 1:11:03Guess better though. Why do you use the word atheist?
- 1:11:07Atheist, agnostic skeptics, free thinkers and everyone else are
- 1:11:10welcome at the church. That's a lie.
- 1:11:13Because I'm a free thinker and if I showed up and talked at
- 1:11:16your church, I don't think I'd be very welcome.
- 1:11:20Just saying, you know why they're called free thinkers,
- 1:11:22right? Is like an inside joke referring
- 1:11:26to the hive mind. Well, I I made-up kind of a
- 1:11:30joke, and I think it's pretty funny.
- 1:11:32This just comes right off the top of that, because nobody
- 1:11:34would pay a dime to hear what they have to say, so it's got to
- 1:11:36be free. Oh, that's a good one.
- 1:11:42Hopefully these guys don't pass around offering plates.
- 1:11:46We use the word atheist because you will never hear anything
- 1:11:49supernatural promoted in a sermon.
- 1:11:52But you said anyone could come and speak.
- 1:11:54So if I come and speak, you'll hear something supernatural
- 1:11:58promoted. Yeah, some people are atheist
- 1:12:03but afraid to use the word. We want to normalize the word
- 1:12:06atheist. In a culture that celebrates
- 1:12:08superstition, it is meaningful to identify someone who does
- 1:12:12not. You guys control the academic
- 1:12:16culture and have for the last 110 plus years.
- 1:12:20You've controlled the media. You've controlled a lot of
- 1:12:23entertainment industry. Atheists have been pretty well
- 1:12:26normalized for quite a long time, even before this church
- 1:12:30even started. So this mission of theirs?
- 1:12:34Hilarious, yeah, Mr. Dark Moon out here, says message of hope.
- 1:12:40Based upon the power of reason. You see that hold.
- 1:12:45On I got to Well, he says that, he said.
- 1:12:48Power of reason. What?
- 1:12:49Message. It is this because my mind keeps
- 1:12:51going back to exactly like what you were saying earlier, Brett.
- 1:12:54Well, I mean, if you've if you've got a bucket of slime
- 1:12:58there with a bunch of chemicals in it, how do you put some kind
- 1:13:02of moral value on that? Think about that, because that's
- 1:13:05exactly how atheists actually see each other as nothing more
- 1:13:09than complex chemicals. You're nothing more than a damn
- 1:13:12bottle of Windex at the most. So why does it matter if one of
- 1:13:16you gets spilled or a few of you?
- 1:13:19Exactly. Why does it matter at all?
- 1:13:22But now I was starting to laugh because of the next thing on
- 1:13:25this website, we may not be able to prove that gods don't exist.
- 1:13:31Well then, why are you even here?
- 1:13:33But we believe they do not, in the same way we believe unicorns
- 1:13:36don't exist. Well, except for the talking one
- 1:13:39that you pass around whenever you have discussions after a
- 1:13:41sermon, right? If 92% of people believed in
- 1:13:47unicorns, we'd come out as a unicornists.
- 1:13:50You do not have to be a professed atheist or a
- 1:13:53unicornist to be a member of the church, so you guys don't.
- 1:14:01Yeah, I just can't believe they claim they don't believe in
- 1:14:03unicorns and then make the statement that we would be a
- 1:14:08unicornist or whatever like that.
- 1:14:10Well then, why don't they? Why don't they spend all day
- 1:14:13making videos about unicorns that don't exist for themselves
- 1:14:17as opposed to God? Why is God the priority for?
- 1:14:20That's the question we could ask.
- 1:14:22I think in the case of this particular church, it's because
- 1:14:26after all there's sermons, they sit in a circle and.
- 1:14:29Pass around a talking Unicorn so people can talk.
- 1:14:32So I think they feel that you got this whole Unicorn angle
- 1:14:35covered and they don't need to go further like that.
- 1:14:38See, I myself, I don't believe that golf is an actual sport.
- 1:14:42I think it's just a distraction for senior citizens with a
- 1:14:45crooked cane. That doesn't mean I'm going to
- 1:14:47make 100 videos. Something about how much I hate
- 1:14:49it though. What the hell?
- 1:14:52Right, here we go. What is a service like?
- 1:14:57We have a 20 minute sermon followed by everyone sitting
- 1:14:59around and talking while enjoying punch and cookies.
- 1:15:03Now see that is. Where my pastor could not, could
- 1:15:07not fit in there. He's a guy that likes to preach
- 1:15:11long, like 45 minutes is his minimum, but he can preach for
- 1:15:15like easily an hour, hour and a half if he doesn't cut himself
- 1:15:19short. So he can never go up there and
- 1:15:21just preach a 20 minutes sermon. And just earlier we were talking
- 1:15:25about Jimmy Jones and here they are drinking punch and kool-aid,
- 1:15:29you know what I mean? So it's like you at least.
- 1:15:32Are you skeptical enough to at least check the Kool-aid first
- 1:15:34before drinking it? Ah, here we go.
- 1:15:40You may be thinking there is nothing to say about atheism.
- 1:15:44We talk about similar things as in other churches, like how can
- 1:15:47I live my best life? We apply reason to answer the
- 1:15:50question. We don't spend much time on anti
- 1:15:53apologetics. We have an anti apologetics talk
- 1:15:56about once a year. You can view many of our past
- 1:15:59sermons online, so wait a minute.
- 1:16:05So you actually deal with all of the big questions in life that
- 1:16:09have to be answered and that all religions and world views
- 1:16:13attempt to answer. But somehow you're not a
- 1:16:16religion and everyone else is, even though you're answering the
- 1:16:19same questions someone's begging for an exception that they
- 1:16:24didn't earn. It's rough.
- 1:16:28I think that after we do this show, when we get time, we need
- 1:16:31to e-mail them this and see what they think about it.
- 1:16:34Or I'll call them up directly and record it that.
- 1:16:38Would be a fun, I'll say. Hey, I got a talking Unicorn
- 1:16:42over here. Can I have my piece?
- 1:16:48All you hear is click. Let's see.
- 1:16:54Does it cost anything to attend? Come be our guest for free.
- 1:16:58We operate on donations. When you decide that you want to
- 1:17:01become a member, we ask that you contribute something to cover
- 1:17:05expenses. Oh, you mean like Christian
- 1:17:07churches do? Whoa.
- 1:17:10We have been asked to specify a suggested donation amount if you
- 1:17:14can. 20 bucks a month per adult would be helpful.
- 1:17:18There are also other ways to contribute beyond financial
- 1:17:21help. Everyone working at the church
- 1:17:23is a volunteer. You are always welcome at
- 1:17:25church, regardless of ability to pay, until you're running low on
- 1:17:31money and you desperately need money to stay open.
- 1:17:33Then you'll start pinching them for their pennies, won't you?
- 1:17:38What do you do with the donations?
- 1:17:40Oh, this will be good. Donations are used to run the
- 1:17:44church. We rent the meeting space,
- 1:17:46maintain the website, do outreach.
- 1:17:48Hate to outreach? What Atheist outreach What and
- 1:17:52run special programs? Currently we have a goal of
- 1:17:55extending the discussion time by half an hour.
- 1:17:58The people you see working on behalf of the church are all
- 1:18:01unpaid volunteers and apparently they are A5O1C3 that you can
- 1:18:05donate to and get a tax write off for.
- 1:18:08So how are you not a religion again?
- 1:18:12I don't, I don't recall how long you had said that you'd been on
- 1:18:15the Internet. But there was a a big incident
- 1:18:18with atheists a while back where what was it?
- 1:18:20About 15 years ago? There was a atheist group that
- 1:18:25was formed and they built them like a church, but they had a
- 1:18:29weird name for themselves. They always give themselves
- 1:18:31sparkly names, like they were called the Brights.
- 1:18:35Have you ever heard of that? I don't remember that, no.
- 1:18:38Yeah, if you if you Google it, you'll see it.
- 1:18:41They a lot of big atheist Youtubers that got into this,
- 1:18:45they were calling themselves Brights for a little while.
- 1:18:48I of course at the time I was a former non.
- 1:18:50I was a non believer at the time and I was like, I ain't a part
- 1:18:54of that in the 1800s when they built their first atheist
- 1:18:57church. For those out there, if you're
- 1:18:59interested in looking it up, they called themselves the
- 1:19:01Enlightened ones. They always like to sound smart
- 1:19:05whenever they're doing that thing.
- 1:19:07That's the difference between Christianity and atheism when it
- 1:19:09comes to names. We talk about the The greatness
- 1:19:13of God is where they talked about the greatness of
- 1:19:15themselves. Yep, it's literally the worship
- 1:19:20of self, or at least self, in relation to the human race.
- 1:19:25And yet that's exactly the kind of thing that people like
- 1:19:28Professor Stick in the very video I showed you the clip from
- 1:19:31Claim Oh, we don't worship ourselves.
- 1:19:37As they do it all the time in their own churches.
- 1:19:39Yeah, sure. But yeah, I find it funny how
- 1:19:42they have this. Oh, we do this, this and this
- 1:19:45with the donations. How much?
- 1:19:47How much Would you be surprised if you found out that a pastor
- 1:19:51at one of these atheist churches was taking the donations and
- 1:19:55spending it on booze and blow and escorts?
- 1:19:58Would you be surprised? Here you go, tpur.
- 1:20:03That way you don't have to scramble for this later, but
- 1:20:08there's a link to the atheist bright Yeah, that was about that
- 1:20:12was 2000, 2003, Around that time.
- 1:20:17Yeah, atheists were killing each other over that one.
- 1:20:20Some of them didn't like it, others thought it was great,
- 1:20:23made it sound, you know, like they were part of the My Little
- 1:20:26Pony club or something. Well, I mean, when you're
- 1:20:28passing around a talking Unicorn to indicate whose turn it is to
- 1:20:31talk, that kind of does sound like a My Little Pony club at an
- 1:20:35atheist church, if you know what I'm saying.
- 1:20:39But since I think we've gone through everything we needed to
- 1:20:43on that website, we got all the comedic value that there is.
- 1:20:47So we're going to go into not the atheist rights link you sent
- 1:20:50me, but the one before it because you really wanted me to
- 1:20:53show it and you still got time. Oops.
- 1:20:56That link was too huge to post out in public chat.
- 1:20:59That's too bad. That's OK.
- 1:21:03I got it on another tab. So earlier Brett wanted me to
- 1:21:07show you the Secular Paganism page, but you can see right here
- 1:21:12the first paragraph will be enough.
- 1:21:15Secular paganism is an outlook, upholding virtues and principles
- 1:21:19associated with Paganism while maintaining A secular worldview.
- 1:21:24Alternately called naturalistic paganism or humanistic paganism,
- 1:21:28approaches vary, but typically include the respect for living
- 1:21:32creatures in the earth itself while rejecting belief in
- 1:21:35deities. Secular pagans may recognize
- 1:21:38gods and goddesses as useful metaphors for different cycles
- 1:21:42of life or reframe magic as a purely psychological practice.
- 1:21:49So I wanted you to check this out.
- 1:21:51Obviously that way because you're going to run into some of
- 1:21:54these little snaky atheists who are going to say, well, yeah,
- 1:21:57we'll go to a building, we'll organize and it's really just
- 1:22:00all about community and all that.
- 1:22:02But they got the Satanic church and they got the magic fairy
- 1:22:06atheist here who? And I'm not meaning fairy and
- 1:22:09the hate speech type of fairy. I'm talking about the little
- 1:22:12winged creature like the. Cherubim, or whatever that's
- 1:22:16called. Yeah, so there's some atheists
- 1:22:18out there who believe in the spiritual, believe in ghosts,
- 1:22:20believe in magic, believe in spells.
- 1:22:22But they can't explain where they get it from.
- 1:22:27Oh, that's a crying shame. But yeah, so basically what I'm
- 1:22:31getting out of this secular paganism page in the first
- 1:22:33paragraph is that basically what atheists did to Christianity,
- 1:22:38They basically just did the paganism.
- 1:22:40Just take that religion, remove the Pagan God's part and it's
- 1:22:43our religion. Now there you go.
- 1:22:47Like I said, they never come up with an original idea.
- 1:22:49They basically some people don't know what the word worship
- 1:22:53means. It doesn't always necessarily
- 1:22:55mean that you're praising a God or on your hands and knees
- 1:22:58putting your paws together. It also means respect or adhere
- 1:23:01to. Yep, absolutely.
- 1:23:03What do you Revere? What do you give ultimate
- 1:23:06authority to? Oh, but yeah, what's next?
- 1:23:10Are we going to have secular Islam?
- 1:23:14Yeah, we want to have all the trappings of Islam minus the
- 1:23:17actual Islamic police part. I don't even want to know what
- 1:23:23that would look like. I would not get get down on your
- 1:23:29knees on your mat every day five times and and pray to an image
- 1:23:34of Richard Dawkins or something. Or Aaron Ross.
- 1:23:42I don't even know. I mean, if secular Islam, what
- 1:23:47would what would even be their Mecca replacement of the atomic
- 1:23:54symbol maybe? Well, like Mecca is an actual
- 1:23:58city though, where they all like Muslims who are not around Mecca
- 1:24:01and they're like other parts of the world.
- 1:24:03When they get down on their mat five times a day to pray, they
- 1:24:06will usually aim in the direction that Mecca is in.
- 1:24:11Well, atheists usually have a tendency.
- 1:24:12If they're not worshipping themselves, then they'll worship
- 1:24:16a naturalistic person higher than themselves, like.
- 1:24:21Secular Islam. When they get down on their
- 1:24:23knees five times a day to pray, they will aim in the direction
- 1:24:28of their nearest university, where evolution in billions of
- 1:24:32years and Big Bang cosmology and ultimately atheism, is being
- 1:24:35taught. There you go.
- 1:24:45Secular Islam, he says. It'd be Jonestown.
- 1:24:50Jonestown. And also remember he called it
- 1:24:52the People's Temple, so they actually did set it up like
- 1:24:56that. There's also there's also one
- 1:24:59other thing too. Then we'll make sure that we
- 1:25:01mention this. There are forms of Buddhism that
- 1:25:05are also secular as well, Where the atheist again snatches the
- 1:25:08Buddhist philosophy, he can use it for himself.
- 1:25:11A perfect example is a popular guy a while back called Alan
- 1:25:15Watts. You ever heard of him?
- 1:25:20It's not striking a bell, although the name sounds
- 1:25:23familiar. Yeah, Alan Watts is a he's well
- 1:25:28known for doing these, like long speeches and talks and all that
- 1:25:33about how we're connected with the cosmos and all that.
- 1:25:36He's kind of like a Carl Sagan a little bit, but without all the
- 1:25:39knowledge of science without. Without all the knowledge.
- 1:25:46That's a funny way of putting it.
- 1:25:48I like it all right. Just checking up on the rumble
- 1:25:53thing. Whoops.
- 1:25:54Click live there. We're doing all right there.
- 1:25:58Just checking up on my quarter stream.
- 1:26:01I see you found the brights movement there.
- 1:26:03You go, I did, and we will talk about that in a nanosecond.
- 1:26:08You know, Speaking of atheist paying donations and support and
- 1:26:12all that to their favorite atheist church.
- 1:26:14There was also a Group A while back called the Rational
- 1:26:17Response Squad that the Atheist all supported and followed and
- 1:26:22blasphemy to. And if you remember, I believe
- 1:26:25that group went out of business for a couple different things,
- 1:26:30some of their members pedophilia and some other reasons.
- 1:26:34Oh, aren't they the ones that had the debate with Ray Comfort
- 1:26:37and Kirk Cameron? Yeah.
- 1:26:40And weren't they the ones that did the blasphemy of the Holy
- 1:26:44Spirit challenge? Yes, they did.
- 1:26:46Oh God, I remember those guys. They were so cringe.
- 1:26:51And I remember that debate because the lady who was the
- 1:26:54representative of their group, she basically dressed in this
- 1:26:57really revealing dress that showed off her upper assets, if
- 1:27:02you know what I'm saying. And basically she was trying to
- 1:27:04be eye candy to distract the, you know, the Christian guys,
- 1:27:08Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort. Fortunately for unfortunately
- 1:27:13for her, it didn't work. But I just remember looking here
- 1:27:17and thinking, what a floozy. Yeah.
- 1:27:20In Missouri we call it skimpy. Skimpy.
- 1:27:25Oh. Gosh, Dark Moon 75, in reference
- 1:27:30to the secular Islam, Mecca, replacement, or maybe whatever
- 1:27:35city Dawkins hails from. Well, to be fair though, to be
- 1:27:40fair, I don't think they're ever going to do anything like that
- 1:27:43for Dawkins. I don't know if you knew this,
- 1:27:46but Dawkins lately has been sounding as though he's starting
- 1:27:50to go over the theism, believing that there's at least some form
- 1:27:54of deistic type of God. I don't know if you've seen the
- 1:27:56latest felt from him. Atheists are saying that he must
- 1:28:00have Alzheimer's or mental illness is getting up on him.
- 1:28:03But Richard Dawkins, for the last five years, the atheist has
- 1:28:07smeared and destroyed him. They used to look up to him like
- 1:28:10he was the Pope or something, but not so much he was.
- 1:28:12One of the four Horsemen of New Atheism, if I remember right.
- 1:28:15He was like one of the founding figureheads of their movement.
- 1:28:19Sam Harris was the last one left out of them, and unfortunately
- 1:28:23they're dragging him through the mud over something called The
- 1:28:25Moral Landscape. Have you heard of that?
- 1:28:29Yeah, I remember David Wood did a video recently about Sam
- 1:28:31Harris. It was pretty, pretty good.
- 1:28:34But I don't remember the moral landscape part.
- 1:28:37See a lot of atheists out there, They all want to be the big guy,
- 1:28:40the popular guy. But unfortunately, their group
- 1:28:43tends to slaughter their leaders after a little while, just so
- 1:28:47they can make a name for themselves.
- 1:28:50Yeah, that sounds about right and accurate to what I see,
- 1:28:53other than the ones on the Internet that are all like, you
- 1:28:55know, part of the anti younger of creationist coalition.
- 1:28:59And so they kind of like unite and collaborate and give each
- 1:29:02other high fives and positive affirmations after every video,
- 1:29:05and not one lick of dissent is involved in the whole process.
- 1:29:09Those guys seem to be in their own little loop.
- 1:29:12But you're right about what you said too, that when they break
- 1:29:15out of those loops, they cannibalize each other.
- 1:29:19Yeah, I've always said because people have asked me repeatedly
- 1:29:22TTO already said that, Brett, how can we stop atheism from
- 1:29:26rising? How can it be gotten rid of?
- 1:29:28And I said that's easy. All Christians have to do is
- 1:29:31take a week off of YouTube and they'll kill each other.
- 1:29:37It's rough, but true. Yeah, so the Brights.
- 1:29:42The Brights movement is a social movement whose members since
- 1:29:452003 refer to themselves as Brights and have a world view of
- 1:29:50philosophical naturalism. I don't know what the difference
- 1:29:54between that and actual naturalism is, but OK, Most
- 1:29:58Brights believe that public policy should be based on
- 1:30:00science, a body of knowledge obtained and tested by use of
- 1:30:04the scientific method. Well, there goes evolution,
- 1:30:07Billions of years of Big Bang cosmology.
- 1:30:09I can just retire these headphones right now.
- 1:30:15They've done my job for me, Brett.
- 1:30:18There you go. Yeah, you look more into that.
- 1:30:21You might find a good video you want to make out of it.
- 1:30:24It was it was crazy. Didn't last very long though.
- 1:30:27Brights are likely to oppose the practice of basing public
- 1:30:31policies on supernatural doctrines.
- 1:30:33Brights may therefore be described.
- 1:30:35As secularists, ah, here we go. Many, but not all brights also
- 1:30:43identify as atheist, anti theist, humanist, specifically,
- 1:30:47secular humanist, free thinker, irreligionist, naturalist,
- 1:30:51materialist or physicalist, agnostic, skeptic, or even
- 1:30:55naturalistic pantheist. What the hell?
- 1:30:59Even so, the movement is not associated with any defined
- 1:31:03beliefs. Even though there's atheist
- 1:31:05churches out there that have very specific, defined values
- 1:31:09attached to the word atheism. Yeah, whatever.
- 1:31:14The website brightsnet.net says its goal is to include the
- 1:31:19umbrella term bright in the vocabulary of this existing
- 1:31:22community of reason. Oh, and then it gets into the
- 1:31:27supers. Oh, that must be better than the
- 1:31:29brights. People are curious out there why
- 1:31:34atheists have come up with the bright seeing light and all
- 1:31:37that. It's not just because they want
- 1:31:39to sound like you're more rational, logical, and smarter,
- 1:31:42but they realize that atheism has a real bad taste in people's
- 1:31:46mouth, especially in politics. All the killing, all the
- 1:31:49dictators, all the destruction of countries.
- 1:31:52That's the reason why people, atheists always complain, oh, we
- 1:31:55can't get into politics. Why?
- 1:31:57Because we remember Stalin, we remember Communist China.
- 1:32:01You know, remember every time they get power, somebody gets
- 1:32:05ends up in a getting a dirt nap. Here we go.
- 1:32:10The movement has been criticized by some, both religious and non
- 1:32:13religious, who have objected to the adoption of the title Bright
- 1:32:16because they believe it suggests that the individuals of a
- 1:32:20naturalistic world view are more intelligent, brighter than non
- 1:32:23naturalist such as philosophical skeptics or idealist believers
- 1:32:27in the paranormal. Philosophical theists or the
- 1:32:29religious? For example, the Committee for
- 1:32:33Skeptical Inquiry published an article by Chris Mooney titled
- 1:32:36Not Too Bright in which he stated that although he agreed
- 1:32:39with the movement, Richard Dawkins and Daniel Bennett's
- 1:32:42campaign to rename religious unbelievers, Brights could use
- 1:32:45some rethinking because of the possibility that the term would
- 1:32:48be misinterpreted. The journalist and noted atheist
- 1:32:52Christopher Hitchens likewise found it.
- 1:32:54A cringe making proposal that atheists should conceitedly
- 1:32:57nominate themselves to be called brights.
- 1:33:01In response to this, Daniel Dennett has stated there was
- 1:33:04also a negative response, largely objecting to the term
- 1:33:07that had been chosen not by me bright, which seems to imply
- 1:33:11that others were dim or stupid. But the term, modeled on the
- 1:33:14highly successful hijacking of the ordinary word gay by
- 1:33:18homosexuals, does not have to have that implication.
- 1:33:22Those who are not gays are not necessarily glum, they're
- 1:33:25straight. Those who are not brights are
- 1:33:27not necessarily dim, and those who are brights are not
- 1:33:33necessarily bright. This is what you're reading
- 1:33:37right now is one of the reasons why I got myself in trouble with
- 1:33:40non believers. So many of them wanted to go in
- 1:33:43this direction where they wanted to appear as though they're
- 1:33:46smarter than everybody else, just in the name itself, or
- 1:33:50enlightened and everything. And I said we should treat
- 1:33:53people, basically Jesus's philosophy, Do unto others you
- 1:33:57want done unto you. If you talk like you're smarter
- 1:34:00or better than people in some kind of way, while at the same
- 1:34:03time believing you evolved from a worm, you sound like an
- 1:34:06asshat. You know what I mean?
- 1:34:08I tried explaining that to them, but they, they refused.
- 1:34:11Ended up getting the fights over that.
- 1:34:15That sounds about right. I mean, you tell atheists
- 1:34:18anything they don't want to hear, they just go Pharaoh on
- 1:34:21you. Just like a lot of so-called
- 1:34:22Christians. When you point out the heresies
- 1:34:25that they believe are not biblical, they respond the same
- 1:34:28way. Hey, you made a good video
- 1:34:31recently. I checked that out.
- 1:34:33You were. That's one thing I like about
- 1:34:35your TTOR. When you see dirt in the back in
- 1:34:38the backyard, you clean it up and all that.
- 1:34:41And if you see dirt off in the distance in the atheist group,
- 1:34:43you go after that too. You're you've got a one standard
- 1:34:47deal. I like that.
- 1:34:49Yeah, I I try to be fair because if you're going to call yourself
- 1:34:53a Bible believer, then you're going to have to go after
- 1:34:57so-called Christians who teach things that blatantly contradict
- 1:35:00the Bible. Plus the Bible itself says
- 1:35:03you're supposed to expose people like that.
- 1:35:05So to me it's like I'm just doing the duty that's performed
- 1:35:09that's requested of me by the scriptures I adhere to.
- 1:35:12It's not like. A special calling that goes
- 1:35:16above and beyond what the Bible asks.
- 1:35:18It's like, literally commanded by the Bible.
- 1:35:20And technically, I should be normal, like the way I do
- 1:35:24things. As far as, you know, being
- 1:35:26willing to criticize both people in and outside my camp, that
- 1:35:30should be normal. Yeah, you're absolutely right
- 1:35:33about that. But you know, just as well as I,
- 1:35:36there's some religious people that are they.
- 1:35:39They feel like it's it's somehow doing something against God by
- 1:35:42questioning another person who claims to have the same label.
- 1:35:46Well, believe it or not, atheists have the same thing.
- 1:35:48A lot of them are afraid to criticize another atheist and
- 1:35:52stuff because they're afraid of how it might end up with their
- 1:35:55ego shattered or something. You know, feed that narcissism.
- 1:35:59Unless that atheist in particular does something that,
- 1:36:02if you criticize, will get you lots of social media cloud, then
- 1:36:05it's on like Donkey Kong. That's right.
- 1:36:10Yeah. Then it's OK to just slam dunk
- 1:36:12them on the Internet. Well, you see a lot of the, a
- 1:36:18lot of the Youtubers, they do that and stuff.
- 1:36:20But you'll notice the comment, there's a lot like how you
- 1:36:23described earlier, the Borg. I can't tell you how many times
- 1:36:29I've been through like the comment sections of like
- 1:36:31Professor Stick videos. VICE Rhino videos, Shannon Q
- 1:36:35videos, Paula Gia videos, Sir Sick videos.
- 1:36:38And it's like reading the same thing every time.
- 1:36:42Oh yeah, that was a great video. You you really show those
- 1:36:46creationists and Christians high five.
- 1:36:48You're so smart. You're so funny, You're so
- 1:36:51witty. Everything you do is gold and
- 1:36:54everything that creationist does is wrong.
- 1:36:56Even if it's exactly like what you're doing, it's wrong.
- 1:37:00I see it all the time. It's just like, my God, how do
- 1:37:04these people exist? And they call themselves free
- 1:37:08thinkers. But there's like 0 dissent.
- 1:37:10I mean, the whole point of free thinking is that there should be
- 1:37:12dissent across the board to some capacity.
- 1:37:16Oh, there isn't. I, I bet $100 challenge to
- 1:37:20anybody out there. Go to any atheist video, look in
- 1:37:23the comments, and you're never going to find that comment that
- 1:37:26says, wait a minute, let me correct you on that.
- 1:37:30You're you're not going to see this.
- 1:37:31It's going to be like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:37:37Yeah, Yep. Exactly.
- 1:37:39Exactly. So we've been through all those
- 1:37:42articles about atheist churches. We had fun going through the
- 1:37:45Seattle Atheist Church websites Mission Statement and their oh,
- 1:37:51that's a good question by Dark Moon TTOR, Do you ever get sick
- 1:37:56of ingesting the same tired arguments?
- 1:38:00There are times, Dark Moon, where yeah, it does get a little
- 1:38:04tiring, especially after you've seen it a million times, but.
- 1:38:09There's always something though, that gets me remotivated.
- 1:38:13So, like, you know, when atheists start coming after me
- 1:38:16like they did today in regards to my sunny in Philadelphia
- 1:38:19video, that gives me all the energy I need to deal with those
- 1:38:24same tired arguments 1000 times over with more zeal.
- 1:38:29So as as tiring as it can get, sometimes the atheists and
- 1:38:34evolutionists on the Internet, they just have this magical
- 1:38:37ability to get me going. Just find a way to give me new
- 1:38:41levels of inspiration. I I think you can relate to
- 1:38:43that, Brett. I think you were talking about
- 1:38:46that in one of your recent videos where when people
- 1:38:48criticize you or try to, you know, portray you as something
- 1:38:53you're not motivates you to make like a million more videos.
- 1:38:57Yeah, that's actually the deal because they haven't.
- 1:39:00I really for a while there I was like when is one of these clowns
- 1:39:04over going to come up with something new?
- 1:39:06You you have to understand coming from my standing point of
- 1:39:10being a former non believer. When I go to watch their videos,
- 1:39:13I'm hearing them basically repeat or parrot everything I
- 1:39:17ever said. But they do it terribly, you
- 1:39:20know, At least I was articulate and stuff and wasn't going I'm,
- 1:39:25I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm the whole damn time.
- 1:39:27And I'm just like, jeez, it's like so 20 years ago, man, come
- 1:39:31on, come up with something new at Dark Moon.
- 1:39:34If you want to stop an atheist right in their tracks, tell them
- 1:39:38to give you scientific evidence on why God is incompatible with
- 1:39:41the universe and see what they got with that.
- 1:39:43I guarantee that'll just floor them.
- 1:39:47Speaking of Dark Moon, he says. I guess you can always reach
- 1:39:50some people, so I suppose that's motivation enough, man.
- 1:39:54And that's also true Dark Moon because.
- 1:39:57Long time ago when I first started, you know, doing
- 1:40:00apologetics as a blog and when I first started doing YouTube
- 1:40:03videos back in 2015, my motivation was to put my
- 1:40:08thoughts out there because I felt like I had unique insight
- 1:40:10into the topics I was looking at the time and my thought process
- 1:40:15in addition to that was if my videos could help one person be
- 1:40:21better informed and believe in the biblical worldview, then it
- 1:40:24was worth it. And that's the philosophy I
- 1:40:27still operate by today, which is why I don't care that I'm a
- 1:40:32small content creator on sites like YouTube.
- 1:40:36Yep, I'll tell you another thing that motivates me.
- 1:40:39And this is a positive reason because so far we've talked
- 1:40:42about how people are running their mouth and then we feel the
- 1:40:45desire to slap them around a little bit.
- 1:40:47But there are some positive things from time to time when I
- 1:40:50log into my Facebook or one of these social media sites.
- 1:40:54Every once in a while you get that message from somebody says,
- 1:40:57I used to watch your videos, Brett, I used to hate you.
- 1:41:00I couldn't stand the things you said.
- 1:41:01But then I started thinking more about what you said and and
- 1:41:05started also watching other people who believe in God and
- 1:41:08bam, it clicked. And when you hear that, you know
- 1:41:12that that's one more soul that might actually have a potential
- 1:41:15to go to heaven, that someone was actually saved by the power
- 1:41:18of God. And when that happens, that that
- 1:41:20gives you, that at least gives you one more year.
- 1:41:23You want to make the video? Exactly.
- 1:41:26Yeah. And I feel the same way.
- 1:41:29It's like every once in a while I'll get a message from someone,
- 1:41:34like on social media or in the comments section of the video
- 1:41:37talking about how helpful my video was.
- 1:41:39In fact, I think it was a couple of weeks ago, Somebody donated
- 1:41:44me like 20-30 dollars through my coffee page.
- 1:41:47And in the message they attached to their donation, they
- 1:41:51specifically said that they had watched one of my older videos
- 1:41:54about some old Earth creationist and his article about the dark
- 1:41:58side of young Earth creationism, which when I responded to it,
- 1:42:02actually exposed the dark side of old Earth creationism.
- 1:42:06He said he really got a lot out of that video and that he wanted
- 1:42:10me to make more videos like that.
- 1:42:11And that was his message that he attached to, like the 2030
- 1:42:14dollar donation he gave me. And the money was nice, but what
- 1:42:18he said was more meaningful to me.
- 1:42:20It's like, wow, someone actually benefits from my videos about
- 1:42:24older of creationists like that Greg Nieman guy.
- 1:42:28So eventually I'm going to see if I can find another article of
- 1:42:32his to respond. To well TTORI.
- 1:42:34Hope it makes you feel good to know, and I know I've said this
- 1:42:37in the past to you, but. When I first transitioned from
- 1:42:41atheism over into theism, I wasn't quite sure what route I
- 1:42:45could go or how I was going to do this.
- 1:42:47Or should I even bother to try? Or should I just walk away?
- 1:42:52But I was over on bit. Shoot, I start watching your
- 1:42:55videos and I'm like, this is the way it needs to be done.
- 1:42:58This is the way. So I watched how you did things
- 1:43:01and stuff, 'cause I wasn't seeing that kind of stuff over
- 1:43:03on YouTube. A lot of people they they just.
- 1:43:07They're not as organized and set it up just for you to consume
- 1:43:11and absorb, so you did a good job.
- 1:43:13You actually influenced me on some things there.
- 1:43:16I appreciate that. That's very that compliment
- 1:43:18means a lot to me. But it does also remind me of
- 1:43:21back then when I was on YouTube and you know, it was before I
- 1:43:25became an all tech guy like I am now.
- 1:43:28I remember going on to YouTube one day like I think it was like
- 1:43:31December of 2016 or something. And I was just like looking up
- 1:43:35Young Earth creationist channels on YouTube just to see who the
- 1:43:39heck's even out here on YouTube talking about Young Earth
- 1:43:42Creationism as a content creator.
- 1:43:44And outside of like Answers in Genesis or Creation
- 1:43:47International or any of the major Young Earth Creationist
- 1:43:50ministries that most are familiar with.
- 1:43:52Outside of those guys, you don't find a lot of independent
- 1:43:56content creators on YouTube who are Young Earth creationists,
- 1:44:01other than a couple that I found, like Ethan Horn and a
- 1:44:04couple other guys who I don't think even make content anymore.
- 1:44:09But yeah, it's it's hard to find independent creators who cover
- 1:44:14the topics. I do.
- 1:44:15And so that was something else that motivated me all these
- 1:44:19years, too. It's like if you want to see
- 1:44:21something that's not being provided on the Internet,
- 1:44:24especially like on YouTube or other video sites, then you got
- 1:44:28to be what you want to see. And that's one of the things I'm
- 1:44:32actually liking about my Rumble channel right now is that over
- 1:44:35time, a lot of my videos, even though they don't get a lot of
- 1:44:38views at first, they start to rack up like a hundred, a
- 1:44:42hundred and 5200 views plus. And a lot of the videos on my
- 1:44:45channel that are doing that are my younger Creationist videos,
- 1:44:50are the ones that are related to that topic.
- 1:44:51And so that's one of the things I'm really liking about Rumble
- 1:44:55right now. It's like I'm actually having a
- 1:44:57chance to put my foot in the door and be one of the O GS of
- 1:45:01rumble when it comes to younger creationism as a topic.
- 1:45:05So that's one of the things I'm hoping to continue going
- 1:45:08forward. See, that's one of the things
- 1:45:11about Youtubers and yourself and myself that is the difference.
- 1:45:15Here you'll see five atheists who will see something on the
- 1:45:18Internet. They'll throw it out there, and
- 1:45:21then the group will just pair it, The meme, over and over and
- 1:45:25over, the same thing. But you and I, we look at
- 1:45:28YouTube and we say to ourselves. What?
- 1:45:31What is it that we'd like to see?
- 1:45:33And when we're not finding it, we're not seeing it.
- 1:45:35We're like, well, it's time for us to do it.
- 1:45:38We need to create something new here and go from there.
- 1:45:43A lot of people don't think like that.
- 1:45:44They're just waiting for something to fall in their lap.
- 1:45:48Yeah, pretty much. It's kind of reminds me of the
- 1:45:51alt tech scene because a lot of people, you know, they hate big
- 1:45:54text. They hate big tech censorship,
- 1:45:57but then they refuse to use alt tech sites.
- 1:45:59And then when the alt tech stuff starts to go South in terms of
- 1:46:02censorship and grifting and whatnot, it's like they complain
- 1:46:05about it, but they don't do anything about it.
- 1:46:08It's like they think if they complain loud enough and often
- 1:46:12enough that eventually a solution they like better will
- 1:46:14just fall from the sky, land right in their lap, and then
- 1:46:18they can just use that. We had somebody earlier in the
- 1:46:23comments, Marco. Whenever I said that thing about
- 1:46:26asking an atheist about why is it that a God wouldn't be
- 1:46:30compatible with the universe, he just Simply put, no evidence and
- 1:46:34all that. All right, you don't have
- 1:46:36evidence of 200 billion light years of the entire universe
- 1:46:41either, yet you still believe in it, so that's not going to work.
- 1:46:45That also doesn't even answer how it couldn't be compatible.
- 1:46:53OK, so I see Dark Moon down here.
- 1:46:59There's two comments of his, he says.
- 1:47:00I don't actually debate atheists.
- 1:47:02I sort of was one of my 20s most depressing years of my life.
- 1:47:06I'll do a video on that when I can as well.
- 1:47:08And when you do, I would love to watch that video, Dark Moon,
- 1:47:12because it would be an interesting testimony on your
- 1:47:14part. The other thing that he said was
- 1:47:18in relation to what I was talking about rumble and certain
- 1:47:22videos of mine being found in terms of younger of creationism,
- 1:47:26he says. I hope you find success there.
- 1:47:28You can't do it at YouTube these days.
- 1:47:31Absolutely true. As a matter of fact, it's so
- 1:47:34true, especially with the censorship they do, that.
- 1:47:37I'm not actually live streaming to YouTube, even though Brett
- 1:47:40is. I'm live streaming to Rumble and
- 1:47:42quarter only at this point because I feel really safe there
- 1:47:46and I still can reach some people and that's what I do.
- 1:47:52Well, make sure you give people a link to it out in the
- 1:47:55comments. Yeah.
- 1:47:57Well, when if they're watching live on Rumble, they're already
- 1:48:00there. And if they're watching live on
- 1:48:02Quarter, they're already there and the in the description box
- 1:48:06of those sites they'll see the links to all my stuff.
- 1:48:09So and if you're watching this live stream on Rumble or
- 1:48:13quarter, you know where to find me everywhere.
- 1:48:16And if you're watching this on Brett's channel, you can see
- 1:48:19across the top banner some of the sites that I'm on, those are
- 1:48:23my quarter channel name, my rumble channel name, my Twitter
- 1:48:27account handle, my truth social handle and my getter handle.
- 1:48:32I used to put my gab handle a lot on these kind of banners,
- 1:48:35but gab Well, boy, that's a long story that we don't have time to
- 1:48:41explain. You guys come back to the video
- 1:48:44later. If you're on the YouTube side,
- 1:48:46I'll make sure that I make the title into a link that leads to
- 1:48:50TT OS YouTube channel. If you check the links in his
- 1:48:53description, he's very organized.
- 1:48:55With that, you'll be able to find him wherever he's hanging.
- 1:48:59Yep, that's true. When you come to my videos, all
- 1:49:01you got to do is look in the description box and you'll find
- 1:49:04every link you'll ever want to find me at.
- 1:49:10You know, we were just one last thing I wanted to throw at you
- 1:49:13since just a follow up on that atheist church stuff we were
- 1:49:17talking about. You know, there was an
- 1:49:18interesting some pages put out there on Google that are very
- 1:49:23interesting that they believe that somehow religion was wired
- 1:49:28into evolution. That might be an interesting
- 1:49:31topic for you. Now how would that be so if
- 1:49:34there wasn't some kind of concept of God?
- 1:49:36Why are people wired to this? Even the ones who get angry at
- 1:49:39God and walk away and build their own atheist church or
- 1:49:43their sparkles or whatever they're doing, why are they
- 1:49:46still attaching themselves and associated?
- 1:49:49There's a real question there people need to ask.
- 1:49:53And if in the biblical world view, it makes perfect sense
- 1:49:57because God's word says that eternity is on all of our hearts
- 1:50:02and that God's laws are in our hearts, so we know in some ways,
- 1:50:07in some sense His laws, even if we're unaware of what the
- 1:50:11biblical worldview even is. So from the biblical
- 1:50:15perspective, this innate, built in religious nature of human
- 1:50:22beings makes absolute sense because that's the way God made
- 1:50:26us. It's literally what human nature
- 1:50:29is. The Bible has never been wrong
- 1:50:31about human nature, which is one of the big reasons why I'm a
- 1:50:34believer in the biblical worldview Aside from, you know,
- 1:50:38Jesus being real and historically supported.
- 1:50:42And aside from all the evidence that supports the truthfulness
- 1:50:45of the Bible's claims, the Bible's perfect description of
- 1:50:49human nature, it's one of the things that keeps me a
- 1:50:53Christian. Because no matter what ugly
- 1:50:55thing I see in the world, it makes me think of something I
- 1:50:59read in the Bible about human nature and how people are, and
- 1:51:03it's like, man, that book got it right again.
- 1:51:06And that's another one for the book.
- 1:51:11If you are an atheist or someone who has fallen aside or whatever
- 1:51:15out there that's listening, you don't have to.
- 1:51:18Just think about the universe and cosmos and about how does
- 1:51:21God fit into that. Try to think internally.
- 1:51:24Think about why it is that you even feel the desire to do good,
- 1:51:27why you want to help people. Why is it that these atheist
- 1:51:31churches claim they weren't good for humanity?
- 1:51:33Because there's something inside of them, and if they would
- 1:51:36actually direct some of that energy and that rationality they
- 1:51:40claim to have unto themselves. To simply ask the question, why
- 1:51:44do I want to do good in the 1st place?
- 1:51:46Why do I want to love people? Why do I make claims like I want
- 1:51:50humanity to be better? What would be better for
- 1:51:52humanity exactly? See.
- 1:51:55Ask internal questions and you'll find your answer.
- 1:51:59Yep. And that actually reminds me of
- 1:52:00my new friend Daniel, who's also known as Darwin to Jesus.
- 1:52:04He talked about in his testimony how he converted from atheism to
- 1:52:08Christianity and what he talked about.
- 1:52:11How was that when he was an atheist and he started asking
- 1:52:14these hard, probing questions about good and evil and
- 1:52:17objective morality? One of his atheist friends
- 1:52:20actually told him, hey man, if you keep pursuing that line of
- 1:52:24inquiry, you're not going to be an atheist for very long.
- 1:52:28Which blew my mind, because I'm thinking, wow, an atheist
- 1:52:34actually admitting that if you do real deep thinking about
- 1:52:37these issues, you won't be an atheist.
- 1:52:40It's almost like atheism isn't true, and the only way you can
- 1:52:43maintain your atheism is by not thinking deeply about things, by
- 1:52:49not being a free thinker. Exactly.
- 1:52:56Exactly. And we've talked about this
- 1:52:58TTOR. If we were to presuppose that
- 1:53:01evolution were real and there was no God, then how does
- 1:53:04someone explain to nature and variables in the environment how
- 1:53:08someone could even have the ambition or desire to dream or
- 1:53:13to do any good for anyone else? Where does that even come from?
- 1:53:16Doesn't come from dirt or water, does it?
- 1:53:18I don't think so. That's not matter or energy.
- 1:53:21And you know, if there is no God, then there's no such thing
- 1:53:25as good or evil in any objective sense.
- 1:53:27So I mean, it's calling things good, calling them evil.
- 1:53:31That's just nonsensical. It just it doesn't compute.
- 1:53:35If this, if I were a computer and you're and I and I was
- 1:53:38convinced that atheism was true and you told me all this stuff
- 1:53:41about good and evil, you get like the the error screen just
- 1:53:44over and over. Error, error, error, Error does
- 1:53:47not compute error. Yeah 'cause good and evil don't
- 1:53:52make sense to me at all if atheism is true.
- 1:53:55But if the Bible's true, then it makes all the sense in the
- 1:54:00world, and that best lines up with my experience of the world
- 1:54:04that we live in. So sorry, atheism.
- 1:54:10Now, you got anything else you want to wrap up or plug or
- 1:54:13whatever? Well, we've gone over quite a
- 1:54:17bit of stuff in this stream tonight, but I'd say on the way
- 1:54:20out the door, don't forget, if you're watching this on Rumble,
- 1:54:25you're watching this on quarter. Be sure to check out my
- 1:54:28description box where you'll find the links to all my social
- 1:54:30media accounts as well as other video sharing sites.
- 1:54:33I upload my videos too. And I would say, especially to
- 1:54:37those of you watching on Rumble or if you're watching on Brett
- 1:54:40Keene's channel on YouTube and you're interested in my content,
- 1:54:44I would highly encourage you to subscribe to my quarter channel
- 1:54:48because Quarter is a YouTube alternative that I myself
- 1:54:52started a year and a half ago. It's not something that someone
- 1:54:55else made and I'm just a huge advocate for it who knows a lot
- 1:54:59about it. I actually made the site myself
- 1:55:03run it myself and it has actually run in concordance with
- 1:55:08First Amendment values and protection.
- 1:55:10So as long as no porn is being displayed on your videos, you
- 1:55:15can literally say and do anything you want.
- 1:55:18You can even curse up a storm in your videos on Quarter.
- 1:55:22You won't get censored in any way.
- 1:55:24So if you're into my content after watching this stream, be
- 1:55:28sure to subscribe to me on Quarter and join the site and
- 1:55:31have fun there. But if you're watching on
- 1:55:33Brett's stream and you're like, well, Quarter doesn't interest
- 1:55:36me so much. But that Rumble thing looks
- 1:55:38really fascinating sub to me on Rumble as well.
- 1:55:41You'll find links to all the same stuff there as well, so.
- 1:55:46And I don't know how many of you got to see my video earlier, but
- 1:55:49I stated that I'm going to start making more of a commitment to
- 1:55:53do an exclusive videos over to Rumble as well as more content
- 1:55:57on the radio. I'm going to start making it to
- 1:56:00where I may be one or two videos every once in a while, a week on
- 1:56:04YouTube and that's it. Reason why, in case you guys
- 1:56:07didn't see it, is because the elections are coming up.
- 1:56:11And I am absolutely convinced that a lot of Youtubers are
- 1:56:14going to be demonetized or be completely removed from the site
- 1:56:18as they support their favorite president and the whole wide
- 1:56:21world Trump. So, and I saw that video and I
- 1:56:25absolutely agree with Brett, that is a very real possibility
- 1:56:28because it already happened the last time around.
- 1:56:32And that's where I feel very comfortable with where I'm at
- 1:56:35because, you know, I'm on YouTube.
- 1:56:37Sure. And I'm on text.
- 1:56:39Sure, but I'm not on Facebook and I'm on Rumble and YouTube
- 1:56:45and Bit Shoot and I'm on Odyssey, although I really just
- 1:56:48archive with that. I run my own video sharing site
- 1:56:50called Quarter. I'm also on X and I'm on Gab and
- 1:56:54I'm on Getter and I'm on Truth Social which is Evil Orange
- 1:56:57Man's Twitter alternative which I actually like better than Gab
- 1:57:01at this point because Gab's gone from being a Twitter alternative
- 1:57:04to being a Facebook rip off and it's not even a good one.
- 1:57:09But anyway, I'm on all that stuff so I feel like no matter
- 1:57:12what happens censorship wise on the Internet, I'm golden.
- 1:57:16And plus I have my own social media, site creation Social.
- 1:57:19So no matter what censorship happens on the Internet
- 1:57:22regarding the elections, I feel secure in the alt tech world and
- 1:57:26with my own stuff that I run. Go ahead, Brett.
- 1:57:29Well, I did want to point this out to Dark Moon and anyone out
- 1:57:32there that's listening or will listen to this later.
- 1:57:36If you any of you like Dark Moon who suggests that he's going to
- 1:57:39make a video later, talk about how he was depressed in his 20s
- 1:57:42because he was dabbling on the fence on is there a God or not.
- 1:57:47If you provide the link for me whenever you make these videos,
- 1:57:50these and I, these are the type of videos I like when real
- 1:57:54people are talking about real issues, not this formulated you
- 1:57:58know crap on the Internet. If you do that and you send the
- 1:58:01link to me. If you would like, I will
- 1:58:04actually make a video reviewing your content and trying to send
- 1:58:08viewers over to your stuff. Just let me know.
- 1:58:10And also TTOR. Anytime you want to do a podcast
- 1:58:14or show let me know and I will set things up and get some
- 1:58:18people over there. I don't know why you don't have
- 1:58:20100,000 subscribers by now. Obviously there's something in
- 1:58:24the water or Kool-aid. Yeah, I I don't think I'll ever
- 1:58:28be that big. But.
- 1:58:29And if I ever found myself in a scenario where I had 1000 Subs
- 1:58:33on YouTube or I had 1000 Subs on Rumble, I would be pretty
- 1:58:38content. Because my following would just
- 1:58:41be big enough to be a permanent thorn in the side of every
- 1:58:45atheist and evolutionist on the Internet.
- 1:58:47Because I remember back in the old days with my original
- 1:58:50YouTube channel that had 500 Subs.
- 1:58:53When I was around the 400 sub mark on that original channel, I
- 1:58:56remember there were atheists leading comments on my videos
- 1:58:59going Oh my God, I can't believe this moron has 400 subscribers.
- 1:59:04They those 400 people must also be morons because I don't see
- 1:59:07how anyone could sub to this guy.
- 1:59:10That kind of stuff makes me wish I had at least 1000 Subs on
- 1:59:14either YouTube or some other video site other than bit shoot
- 1:59:17because then it'd be like Oh yeah, you you revel in that
- 1:59:22pain. That's the non Christian part of
- 1:59:26me I guess. I don't.
- 1:59:28Know, Dark Moon says. Lots of laughs.
- 1:59:30Yeah, I'm not smart enough to do the formulated crap, so you'll
- 1:59:33be getting my own raw experiences.
- 1:59:36And that's one of the things that entices me about these
- 1:59:39video sharing sites. I enjoy seeing real people talk
- 1:59:43about real things. The things that cause you to
- 1:59:45think the way you do, the reason why you believe like you do.
- 1:59:49No matter who's talking about or what their side is, that stuff
- 1:59:53fascinates me. I like to know what the spark
- 1:59:55was that set people off, on or off, you know?
- 2:00:00Yeah, and I'm with you there, Dark Moon.
- 2:00:02I actually prefer the real raw experience.
- 2:00:05So your kind of planned content there is what I actually want to
- 2:00:10see. It reminds me of my friend
- 2:00:12Doctor JD Mitchell. He he wrote a book called The
- 2:00:16Creation Dialogues, which was basically like, there's a lot of
- 2:00:20things. It was like a combination of him
- 2:00:23going to different fossil sites around the world and talking
- 2:00:26about what he actually saw there compared to what the
- 2:00:28evolutionists teach, combined with like general traditional
- 2:00:32research into evolutionary topics compared to young Earth
- 2:00:36creationism. It was one of the greatest
- 2:00:38apologetics books I ever read because it did a great job
- 2:00:41combining his personal experience with traditional
- 2:00:45research. But when he tried to get like
- 2:00:49AIG or Creation International or ICR to pick up his book and sell
- 2:00:55it through their stores, they actually refused to do so
- 2:00:58because they didn't like all the personal experience of his that
- 2:01:02he combined with traditional research.
- 2:01:04They want his book to be all research and no, no personal
- 2:01:08experience of like going to all these places that his topics are
- 2:01:11about, which is one of those things.
- 2:01:14Next we go, God, you people suck.
- 2:01:19Yeah, a winning book here and you refuse to carry it because,
- 2:01:22well, it's not what we would. So don't feel bad Dark moon
- 2:01:29about, you know, not being able to do formulated crap because
- 2:01:32you're not smart enough. Don't even worry about that.
- 2:01:36Just give us the raw experiences, we will absorb it
- 2:01:39and we will probably like it better than a formulated video.
- 2:01:44Yeah, when you anybody out there, if you're making videos,
- 2:01:47don't. Don't think of how other people
- 2:01:50do it or whatever. Think of when you're making a
- 2:01:53video. Imagine that you're doing it
- 2:01:55primarily for yourself and that you enjoy what you're actually
- 2:01:58talking about. Don't don't try to be anyone
- 2:02:01else or anything else or to burn out real fast.
- 2:02:04Just be yourself. Yeah, I remember the old days
- 2:02:07where people used to talk about, well, I want to be a content
- 2:02:10creator, but you know, I need to get this mic and I need to get
- 2:02:13this software, I need to get this green screen.
- 2:02:15I I need to get this and get that.
- 2:02:17It's like, dude, dude, just grab a camcorder, put it on a tripod,
- 2:02:22film yourself talking. That's all you need to start.
- 2:02:25And then over time you can get better equipment, better setups,
- 2:02:28make better looking stuff. That's normal.
- 2:02:32That's the that's how people used to be on the Internet and
- 2:02:35to some extent still are. Especially if you're new to
- 2:02:38like, these alt text sites that are springing up.
- 2:02:41You know, just just do things with what you do with what you
- 2:02:44can use the things you have, save up money over time and that
- 2:02:48way you have a content library built up when you start making
- 2:02:52better quality videos in terms of a technical side, so.
- 2:02:56Yeah, some of our videos probably look really fancy to
- 2:02:59someone on the outside. Many people may not know this,
- 2:03:02but the microphone I have, it was $80.00 when I got it, but it
- 2:03:06can be bought for 40 now. I sound like I'm on the radio,
- 2:03:09right? It's it's not just a matter.
- 2:03:12A lot of people don't realize it's not just a matter going out
- 2:03:15and buying a fancy webcam or a mic.
- 2:03:18If you have like free software like OBS, you can add bass to
- 2:03:22your voice. You can take a cheesy ass
- 2:03:24Walmart mic and make it sound great.
- 2:03:27And if you know anything about images, you can do some of the
- 2:03:29pretty stuff we do there. So yeah, like like like Brett
- 2:03:34Kane's look there on his webcam. I'm pretty sure that's the OBS
- 2:03:37virtual Cam. That's right.
- 2:03:40You got it. Oh no.
- 2:03:42I might fade out or disappear. Then what are we going to do?
- 2:03:45I'll be exposed again. That guy made me laugh so hard
- 2:03:52the first time I saw his video, long before I actually, you
- 2:03:55know, made mine a response to it.
- 2:03:58Just like, wow, he's lying to everybody and his evidence is
- 2:04:02you switched OBS scenes. Well, that what's weird about it
- 2:04:06too. I don't.
- 2:04:07I know that you were so jacked up when you wanted to drop
- 2:04:10Thor's hammer on his ass and all that, but in my actual video I
- 2:04:15say. I'm going to teach you how to do
- 2:04:17fades and transitions and all that and how to time them.
- 2:04:21I mean, he even said that he was.
- 2:04:23There you go, taking yourself off screen so they could see the
- 2:04:26stuff that you were covering. Up the issue is a lot of people
- 2:04:29nowadays, they Fast forward your voice or they jump to a scene
- 2:04:33where they just want to Jack on you a little bit and all that.
- 2:04:36They don't listen to the whole thing.
- 2:04:38I've Can you guys not look at that and say, Oh yeah, that's an
- 2:04:42image right there? I mean, are we serious?
- 2:04:46You know, he's trying to convince us that he's really
- 2:04:51sitting in a chair and a microphone.
- 2:04:53So I pull up actual videos of you on camera, sitting at a desk
- 2:04:57with a microphone in front of you.
- 2:04:59And on my belly. On my belly.
- 2:05:02Doing the virtual swimming. Yes.
- 2:05:04Yes, I I still think the analogy I had for were your different
- 2:05:11setups over the years was perfect.
- 2:05:13Oregon Ducks football uniforms, those really did for years, used
- 2:05:17to change so often that they never wore the same uniform
- 2:05:20twice week to week, which was fun because they have like
- 2:05:26pretty colors, you know, green and yellow and you got some
- 2:05:29white in there, you got some black in there, you got some
- 2:05:32silver Chrome in there. I remember one year for like the
- 2:05:35women's breast cancer awareness month, they actually wore pink
- 2:05:38helmets with like their black unis.
- 2:05:42There was one other thing I was going to say too, and I don't
- 2:05:45know, it may throw you off a little bit, but you know that I
- 2:05:48did videos where I explained one of the reasons why I was laying
- 2:05:51down was because of the back issues and all that.
- 2:05:54Well, I got asked so many times by non believers and I had to
- 2:05:57explain so many times that deal. I just figured they were being
- 2:06:02jerks to me. Anyway, on Twitter one time
- 2:06:04though this guy he goes, bro, why do you lay on your belly for
- 2:06:07and? I got so tired of having to
- 2:06:09repeat myself. I just said that's just the
- 2:06:11position. Your mother likes it and I just
- 2:06:13haven't gotten up yet. And boy, he got pissed.
- 2:06:22I know I'm terrible. Mama.
- 2:06:25Jokes everybody, Mama. Jokes.
- 2:06:30Yeah, I had to wake up somebody real quick when you tell about
- 2:06:36my mama's heart. Yeah, I could do Mama jokes too
- 2:06:41sometimes, but I try to avoid doing that when I'm having real
- 2:06:44discussions with people. Oh, I hear you.
- 2:06:47I hear you. I know there have been many
- 2:06:50times though where someone's just being really stupid with me
- 2:06:53and just won't get smarter like this.
- 2:06:55He getting stupider and stupider every time they open their
- 2:06:58mouth. There are times I've been
- 2:07:00tempted to use Mama jokes in that scenario where it's like.
- 2:07:06I hear you, man. Because when I was, I was just
- 2:07:11going to say when I was a teenager, me and my best friend,
- 2:07:13we were all about the Mama jokes, the fart jokes, the belt
- 2:07:16chain and all that stuff. So we were like, gross, you
- 2:07:19know, adolescent boys. Oh, I hear you, man.
- 2:07:25Fun stuff. But you got anything else for
- 2:07:29us, Gtor? And hopefully you want to do
- 2:07:31another show in the future here soon.
- 2:07:33I know you've been busy working at the church and all that.
- 2:07:36Yeah, I know that ghost man wants me to come on his show
- 2:07:40sometime, so I'm going to probably do that at some point.
- 2:07:44But I would actually be interested in coming on your
- 2:07:47show exclusively for your radio audience.
- 2:07:50I think that would be very fascinating.
- 2:07:54Well, there's something you could do that that would be
- 2:07:58really helpful. I I know that you appreciate and
- 2:08:01like all the content that you make and all that.
- 2:08:04But if every once in a while, like maybe once every two weeks,
- 2:08:08drop 3 videos that you'd really like to be on the radio just
- 2:08:12every like week or two, just e-mail me a couple links and
- 2:08:15say, hey, Brett, can you put that up there?
- 2:08:17Believe it or not, I don't know how long it's been.
- 2:08:20There's so much on there. Maybe you didn't notice, but I
- 2:08:23have. Grabbed quite a few of your
- 2:08:25videos and put them up there. People can actually see you and
- 2:08:28hear you on Spotify. Yeah, I'll have to think about.
- 2:08:34Well, one that comes to mind is my video about the law of
- 2:08:37Entropy. Did you already do it with that
- 2:08:39one or? I haven't grabbed those.
- 2:08:42Usually the ones I get about you are is obviously the entropy
- 2:08:47one's going to tie into religion, but usually it's
- 2:08:50either about God or whenever you're talking about like social
- 2:08:53media issues and all that 'cause I at the time I noticed in my
- 2:08:58analytics a lot of people are watching about censorship and
- 2:09:02and things and I was like, well, this is right up TTORS alley.
- 2:09:05I got to put that up there, you know, if you're interested, I I.
- 2:09:10This would only be for you though.
- 2:09:11I wouldn't do this for anybody else because I don't trust
- 2:09:14anybody else, But I can give you some login information and you
- 2:09:18can put stuff on the radio yourself if you'd like, if you'd
- 2:09:22be interested in that in the future.
- 2:09:25Definitely something to think about for sure.
- 2:09:29Well, think about it this way. If I gave you it and you did it
- 2:09:32a couple times and you like the format.
- 2:09:35You you could always somehow make embed this or set it up for
- 2:09:39your quarter site and all that. This could actually, once you
- 2:09:42see how it works and the code and all that embeds and yadda
- 2:09:46yadda yadda, you'll be able to do something more with your
- 2:09:49site. If you want to think about it,
- 2:09:51yeah, yeah, I it sounds interesting and something I
- 2:09:55would follow up on. It's just that right now I'm in
- 2:09:58the middle of learning how to make stuff with Blender for the
- 2:10:03purposes of my job, and I have to meet up with my book
- 2:10:06publisher soon to make a new edition of my superhero novel I
- 2:10:10put out last year or earlier this year.
- 2:10:13And then there's like a few other things I got to get done
- 2:10:16before I can do that. But when those other things get
- 2:10:19done, I might just take you up on your offer.
- 2:10:22It's just going to be a bit of time.
- 2:10:24Well, think about this too. This is why this would be
- 2:10:27important for you. You've done an excellent job on
- 2:10:30your website, looks good, it's, it's working and everything like
- 2:10:34that. But if you were go through this
- 2:10:36thing that I'm talking about, you're going to show up on
- 2:10:39Amazon Music, you're going to show up on Spotify and several
- 2:10:43other international sites out there, right?
- 2:10:47If you type in Brett Keene Radio on Google right now, you're
- 2:10:50going to see I'm all over the place now.
- 2:10:53And it takes about a month for stuff to start showing up and
- 2:10:56everything, but I've been doing this for so long, it's all over
- 2:10:59the place now. The other thing is, right now, I
- 2:11:03don't know if you've got this, but you don't actually have like
- 2:11:06apps through Google or anything like that.
- 2:11:08And probably never will be able to do that because Google sucks
- 2:11:10ass. But through this, you're going
- 2:11:13to Spotify, so you'll be on people's phones.
- 2:11:19Yeah, that would be helpful for sure.
- 2:11:20Which is why I'm saying when I get some other stuff that's on
- 2:11:24my immediate plate knocked down, I'll probably take you up on
- 2:11:27your offer. It's just, you know, full time
- 2:11:30job, things I got to get done, those need to get done first.
- 2:11:34But I will definitely take you up on your offer in the future.
- 2:11:37How long does it take you to upload one of your videos to
- 2:11:40YouTube Recorder on the The Longest Time?
- 2:11:45Well it depends how long the video is, but one thing I have
- 2:11:49noticed is that my quarter site actually tends to process videos
- 2:11:54and make them available to view quicker than YouTube most of the
- 2:11:57time. Yeah, yeah, especially on 4K
- 2:12:02videos, which is the weird part because.
- 2:12:03You Does it take you like under? Let's say you got a 15 minute
- 2:12:07video. Are we talking about a 5 minute
- 2:12:09upload? 10 minutes?
- 2:12:11What's your speed like? It depends on the file size, but
- 2:12:19usually it's pretty small in that case, so usually takes like
- 2:12:2210 minutes. Well, there you go.
- 2:12:26You don't have to look at the coding right away.
- 2:12:28It'll be as simple as once you log in, you're going to see up
- 2:12:31at the top a button that says New Episode.
- 2:12:34And once you click upload, just like YouTube, you fill in the
- 2:12:37title, you put in your links, advertise everything that you
- 2:12:40got, and it's going to show up everywhere.
- 2:12:43It's as simple, just like uploading a rumble or YouTube.
- 2:12:46So there you go. And then it'll take care of the
- 2:12:49rest. It'll put it everywhere for you
- 2:12:51after you've uploaded that, so it'll be pretty intuitive to me
- 2:12:54then. Once I see it then.
- 2:12:57Oh yeah, yeah. It looks looks like the
- 2:12:59interface of almost looks like I guess YouTube and Rumble.
- 2:13:04Just click up at the top, upload, boom, fill out the
- 2:13:07information. You're done, Dark Moon says.
- 2:13:12I've uploaded videos that were almost 2 gigabytes.
- 2:13:15They upload in about 10 minutes, but they process about 30
- 2:13:18minutes for me on quarter. And that's why I tend to get my
- 2:13:23videos compressed and make them much smaller than that.
- 2:13:27Because when they're like under 500 megabytes, they tend to
- 2:13:29upload and process pretty quickly on quarters.
- 2:13:32All right, encoding server. Dark Moon.
- 2:13:35If you run OBS and record your videos that way, and you go into
- 2:13:40the settings and set it to half quality, that's what I got mine
- 2:13:43set at. Guess how big my videos are.
- 2:13:46If I do an hour video, you're talking about less than 400
- 2:13:50megabytes. That's how I'm able to just make
- 2:13:52video after video. If it's 10 minutes, you're
- 2:13:55talking maybe 2 minutes. The longest it takes me to do it
- 2:13:58is just filling out the information.
- 2:14:00That's it, Yep. And Brett has put out a lot of
- 2:14:04videos every day on a regular basis for a long time, and
- 2:14:09that's why you can just chirk them out pretty quickly.
- 2:14:15All right, well, we've gone 2 hours and 14 minutes.
- 2:14:18I feel like this has been a great show, and I feel like
- 2:14:22people learn something today, especially about the Seattle
- 2:14:26Atheist Church, and they're talking unicorns that they pass
- 2:14:29around so people can speak. This will be on Spotify as well.
- 2:14:34I'm going to upload this to the radio.
- 2:14:37Yep, And I see you there, Darkman 75, his videos that are
- 2:14:43about 2 gigabytes in size, he records them on his PS4.
- 2:14:48So yeah, I think a lot of his videos he doesn't even use a
- 2:14:51computer for. He just records off a console,
- 2:14:53which a lot of people have done and do.
- 2:14:56Well, the even the PS4, if I remember in PS5 if you before
- 2:15:01you hit broadcast go down to do it in 7/20, it doesn't have to
- 2:15:06be in 108720, it'll look perfect and I think all those videos of
- 2:15:10his have been in 720P on my platform.
- 2:15:13So Yep. But anyway thanks for joining
- 2:15:18the show Brett. Thank you for leaving all the
- 2:15:20comments. Dark Moon and Bubble Gun.
- 2:15:23I will look forward to seeing you next time.
- 2:15:27Next week will be a podcast of the TTOR show.
- 2:15:32The next GOD TV Radio podcast will be in two weeks.
- 2:15:37Of course, I just realized that I have the wrong well, that's
- 2:15:44interesting. I've been using the TTOR show
- 2:15:48stuff instead of GOD TV Radio this whole night and no one said
- 2:15:51anything. Oh, it's all good.
- 2:15:54I think that's whatever I used. I played the right intros.
- 2:16:03Oh goodness. Oh, but it's still a great show,
- 2:16:06even though I just realized that.
- 2:16:09So with that being said, I'll let you guys go.
- 2:16:12I'll see you in two weeks for the GOD TV radio.
- 2:16:14I'll see you next week for an actual episode of the TTOR show
- 2:16:19and not a fake one like today for anyone who noticed that the
- 2:16:23whole time. And hopefully I'll see you after
- 2:16:27the show, Brett. All right, peace out the.
