- 0:03Speaker 1: We fire up the satellite, please. Are we ready to
- 0:05Speaker 1: go to tonight's guest on the show?
- 0:07Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Chris Pratt, currently standing by in New York. He's back
- 0:10Speaker 1: for season two of The Terminal List. All episodes are
- 0:14Speaker 1: streaming on Prime Video today. Now, here is a quick
- 0:18Speaker 1: recap of season one of The Terminal List because I
- 0:21Speaker 1: think it's been four years since it came out. We
- 0:23Speaker 1: had to watch Jack Reacher instead.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 0:27Speaker 4: While on a mission to deliver retribution against those responsible
- 0:30Speaker 4: for the deaths in his family, in Alpha Platoon, James
- 0:34Speaker 4: Reese and reporter Katie Burenick uncover that the team's ambush
- 0:38Speaker 4: was a cover-up for an experimental drug which was created
- 0:41Speaker 4: to prevent PTSD but cause.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Brain tumors in Reese's team.
- 0:47Speaker 5: After taking out everyone responsible for the conspiracy, Reese follows
- 0:50Speaker 5: the trail of corruption all the way to the Secretary
- 0:52Speaker 5: of Defense, Dante. Reese also discovers that his best friend,
- 0:57Speaker 5: Ben Edwards, was the source that was paid to orchestrate
- 1:00Speaker 5: the ambush that killed Alpha Team.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Let's finish the list.
- 1:05Speaker 6: I remember that. He killed everyone. So who's he killing
- 1:08Speaker 6: in this one? Let's find out.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Chris Pratt standing by in New York with an actual
- 1:12Speaker 1: Navy SEAL as well. He is the writer and executive
- 1:15Speaker 1: producer of the show. His name is Jack Carr. Let's
- 1:17Speaker 1: get them both on.
- 1:18Speaker 6: The president is willing to grant you a full pardon
- 1:20Speaker 6: for your crimes and give you your life back.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You still the same James Reese that I knew in
- 1:26Speaker 3: sniper school? Hey, what's up, everybody? Chris Pratt here. Is
- 1:29Speaker 3: Jack Carr checking in? The terminal list is back. He
- 1:32Speaker 3: may be exactly what we need for this fight. The
- 1:37Speaker 3: storm is brewing.
- 1:39Speaker 6: Gentlemen, hello.
- 1:39Speaker 3: What's up, Smallsy?
- 1:41Speaker 7: How are you?
- 1:41Speaker 6: Good to see you, Chris. Look at you, always looking
- 1:44Speaker 6: so trim.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:46Speaker 7: Yes oh that's so nice thanks small z i don't
- 1:49Speaker 7: take offense to that don't worry yeah that's very kind
- 1:51Speaker 7: of you to.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Say no you but you hey you sir jack you
- 1:54Speaker 1: you you sir what a machine absolute oh.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Well oh stop stop it's true absolute machine.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Hey um congratulations on season two of the terminal list
- 2:04Speaker 1: chris your character killed everyone on the list in season
- 2:07Speaker 1: one who on earth uh is in trouble for season two.
- 2:12Speaker 7: Well, you know, there's a few more people to add
- 2:15Speaker 7: to his list. He's trying to find his way back
- 2:18Speaker 7: into having a normal life and seeing if he has
- 2:22Speaker 7: something to live for. And so his shot at redemption
- 2:25Speaker 7: comes through a new mission.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Jack, now, obviously, I don't want to misspeak, but an
- 2:33Speaker 1: actual Navy SEAL yourself, author, these are your books. How
- 2:37Speaker 1: would Chris go in like a real life situation? Because
- 2:41Speaker 1: he's a Hollywood actor. Silver spoon.
- 2:44Speaker 3: He's more than a Hollywood actor. Can I bring my
- 2:46Speaker 3: makeup team?
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we can bring hair and makeup and, yes, craft
- 2:51Speaker 2: food services, things like that. Then I think you'd be
- 2:53Speaker 2: good to go.
- 2:53Speaker 3: But no, this guy's a wrestler and athlete.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And the way he moves with the weapons is so
- 2:58Speaker 2: natural that, yeah, he would crush out there in the
- 3:02Speaker 2: SEAL teams.
- 3:02Speaker 3: No doubt in my mind. Look at you. Wow, Chris. Wow.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I mean, that's... Not true. You don't want to wrestle
- 3:08Speaker 3: this guy. That's for sure. Hey, listen, that's for sure.
- 3:10Speaker 3: That's why I was a sniper. Think of man's game.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I did see somewhere that like there was a whole
- 3:17Speaker 1: bunch of like training and you were deep in with
- 3:20Speaker 1: the SEALs there to like make sure it was believable
- 3:22Speaker 1: on set. Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Well, that's a big, that's a big part of this.
- 3:25Speaker 7: I mean, we have a ton of special operators working
- 3:28Speaker 7: on this show. We had 17 veterans on, on the,
- 3:31Speaker 7: on the show and, you know, multiple Navy SEALs from
- 3:34Speaker 7: the author of the book, Jack, but Jared Scharr, executive producer,
- 3:38Speaker 7: Kenny Sheard, you know, all of our tech advisors, Raymond Dozer,
- 3:41Speaker 7: who's a director. So we were a ton of SEALs
- 3:44Speaker 7: on set and, and making sure that it passed their
- 3:46Speaker 7: sniff test has always been our goal. We're trying to
- 3:49Speaker 7: be as authentic as possible and, So yeah, it's physical training,
- 3:52Speaker 7: but also just like how to move with the guns,
- 3:54Speaker 7: how to walk into a room, how to clear a corner,
- 3:58Speaker 7: how to, you know, who to trust, who not to trust,
- 3:59Speaker 7: how to behave. There was a lot of comps for
- 4:01Speaker 7: this type of behavior all around me.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't want to make this about me, but I
- 4:04Speaker 1: once upon a time did Moonlight holding a gun, a
- 4:07Speaker 1: stunt gun.
- 4:08Speaker 6: It was for films. It's way harder than it looks.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Like, I mean, I was waving it around and the
- 4:12Speaker 1: stunt guys were not impressed with my lack of being
- 4:16Speaker 1: able to Hold the gun convincingly.
- 4:18Speaker 6: But that's my story.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Fix it in post. Fix it in post. Listen, Smallsy,
- 4:23Speaker 3: I'm with you, man.
- 4:24Speaker 7: Like, everything I've learned about before meeting these guys and
- 4:27Speaker 7: doing this show, everything I had learned about combat, I
- 4:29Speaker 7: learned from watching movies.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And so I thought that, you know, I held the
- 4:32Speaker 3: gun sideways.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I was busted into the room like this.
- 4:36Speaker 3: No, that's not an effective way.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Hey, no spoilers on this show, but there is a
- 4:41Speaker 1: scene that's in the series trailer that basically gets your
- 4:44Speaker 1: character pardoned for any previous crimes. I thought it could
- 4:47Speaker 1: be fun to ask if any one of you needed
- 4:50Speaker 1: a presidential pardon. Is there anything that you would need?
- 4:53Speaker 1: For me, I would love it if someone could just
- 4:55Speaker 1: forgive my driving record.
- 4:57Speaker 6: It's not the greatest. It's not the greatest.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I think we're breaking up.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:04Speaker 7: I've never made a mistake in my life, so I'm good.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Obviously not. It's all fiction, obviously. Yeah, okay, great.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Well, I'm sorry we've lost connection there. Congratulations on the series. Also,
- 5:17Speaker 1: my final question, actually. All eight episodes are, like, dropping
- 5:20Speaker 1: at once.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You obviously put so many months of work into it.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Do you mind if people binge watch– in one weekend,
- 5:29Speaker 1: or would you like them to take a break in between?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Because it dawned on me, like, you guys spend literally months,
- 5:37Speaker 1: almost an entire year or more in your life, and
- 5:39Speaker 1: then some potato on the other side of the world, a.k.a. me,
- 5:44Speaker 1: just watches it all in one weekend and then goes, okay,
- 5:46Speaker 1: what do I watch next?
- 5:49Speaker 3: I would love that.
- 5:50Speaker 7: That might mean the most to me because it means
- 5:52Speaker 7: that you were sucked in, and that's why we dropped–
- 5:56Speaker 7: all eight episodes on the 21st coming up worldwide. Our
- 6:02Speaker 7: season one was four years ago. And so people have
- 6:04Speaker 7: waited long enough. And I think enough people, especially our audience,
- 6:06Speaker 7: are like, don't tell me when I can watch this.
- 6:09Speaker 7: So they're all available the day it comes out. If
- 6:11Speaker 7: you binge it, great. If you take an episode at
- 6:13Speaker 7: a time, great. Just press play, watch. We made it
- 6:17Speaker 7: for you. We worked our asses off. And it truly
- 6:19Speaker 7: was four years in the making. So enjoy.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Love it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: And then go back and watch Terminal List, Dark Wolf,
- 6:25Speaker 2: and re-watch season two.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Just do it again. Yeah, why not? Absolutely. You'll get
- 6:30Speaker 3: a lot more out of it that way.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Gentlemen, thank you for your time. Appreciate it.
- 6:33Speaker 2: All right.
- 6:34Speaker 3: See you, buddy. See you, guys.
- 6:35Speaker 6: See you.
