Dobbins Out for Season After Second Tommy John | St. Louis Cardinals News
Cardinals pitcher Hunter Dobbins is out for the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery for his right elbow — his second time under the knife since 2021. The procedure came after he felt tightness in his forearm during warm-ups, which didn’t improve while pitching. Despite a solid 3.67 ERA in 11 games this year, doctors confirmed the need for surgery after a second opinion. The team, who acquired him in a big trade for Contreras, is hopeful Andre Pallante’s return will bolster their bullpen soon.
