- 2:31Speaker 1: Oh hear me, I can truly say that I've been blessed.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You test the mall. Okay, how you doing, jess girl?
- 2:45Speaker 2: I am I'm grateful to I'm grateful to. She see
- 2:48Speaker 2: that's a right? Are you you grateful? Are you.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Grateful?
- 2:55Speaker 2: But are you won the title? Wake up, shoot, we're
- 3:01Speaker 2: gonna get it together today.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But I am grateful. I am grateful because my yes
- 3:08Speaker 1: is becoming.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Stronger every day.
- 3:09Speaker 1: That's real. Like I know where on this year of
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yes three sixty five, if y'all committed to that, make
- 3:15Speaker 1: sure y'all coming that in the chat, y'all, because we've
- 3:19Speaker 1: been seeing a lot of people saying, you know what,
- 3:21Speaker 1: this yees three sixty five has changed my life.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It's just yes.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Every day we gotta focus on today's yees. And as
- 3:26Speaker 1: I've been focused on my.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Today's yees, yeah, baby, it's been getting stronger. It's been
- 3:31Speaker 2: getting stronger. I am. I am grateful.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Another thing I'm grateful for it is our community highlight
- 3:36Speaker 1: this week. It's special because it is Father's Day.
- 3:42Speaker 2: We love our fathers.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yes, So the community highlight you could just guess who
- 3:48Speaker 1: it is.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Who they are. Our diddies are ditties.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Hey, daddy, I love you so, so very very much.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I'm super proud of you.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I've just been every time somebody asked me about my daddy, desiree,
- 4:03Speaker 1: pull your daddy.
- 4:04Speaker 2: What's his name?
- 4:04Speaker 1: My daddy is the good old realm Kenneth w Smith okay,
- 4:10Speaker 1: And I love his dirty draws. You hear me, I
- 4:13Speaker 1: am a big daddy's girl, real bad, real bad, Okay.
- 4:18Speaker 1: But what I was saying was that people have asked
- 4:20Speaker 1: me about his cancer journey or the journey that you know,
- 4:23Speaker 1: people recently witness him ring the bell. The doctor's still
- 4:27Speaker 1: trying to say he's gonna have the cancer cells and
- 4:29Speaker 1: all that stuff like that. But we know what we
- 4:31Speaker 1: believe God for. But the one thing I've been really
- 4:34Speaker 1: excited to share about my father is how he's not
- 4:37Speaker 1: only endured, but he suffered. Well, you know, when we
- 4:41Speaker 1: go through certain things, like our attitudes are shifted by
- 4:44Speaker 1: what we're going through. But he really, like just he's
- 4:47Speaker 1: just really grounded himself and he was so positive, like
- 4:52Speaker 1: to the point where I couldn't cry, I couldn't do
- 4:54Speaker 1: certain things, I couldn't feel as bad because he was
- 4:56Speaker 1: just so positive and so Daddy, I just want to
- 4:59Speaker 1: tell you I'm proud of you, that I love you,
- 5:01Speaker 1: that I just look forward to the day, uh that
- 5:06Speaker 1: all your dreams for your children have come to come
- 5:09Speaker 1: to pass.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Every prayer, every sacrifice, I just pray that we make
- 5:14Speaker 1: we are making you proud. That I'm making you proud.
- 5:17Speaker 1: There's nothing like just being loved by you.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Kenneth W. Smith. So I love you, I honor you.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Happy Father's Day now, Desiraate, I think you didn't want
- 5:27Speaker 1: to hear from you, So let me figure out this
- 5:28Speaker 1: techt thing. Hold on, Oh, y'all know, get I'm learning things, okay,
- 5:36Speaker 1: but I don't want to say Happy Father's Day to
- 5:37Speaker 1: my dad. Joseph Jenkins.
- 5:41Speaker 2: We uh.
- 5:41Speaker 1: The Lord has allowed these last few years to be
- 5:45Speaker 1: years of healing from me. I just I just realized
- 5:49Speaker 1: that a lot of things that a lot of decisions
- 5:51Speaker 1: and choices I made early on were stemmed from you know,
- 5:55Speaker 1: some some some lack thereof right. And so I'm just
- 5:58Speaker 1: honored that that the Lord has allowed our relationship to grow.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And he's he's retired now, bless his little heart. He's
- 6:07Speaker 1: retired from the from the army for about he served
- 6:10Speaker 1: in the army for about twenty five years, so then
- 6:12Speaker 1: he's thank you for your service. Then he worked at
- 6:14Speaker 1: the VA for another twenty years. So he's been retired
- 6:17Speaker 1: now for about two two and a half years. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm so excited for him because he's he's a musician.
- 6:22Speaker 1: He plays the base. He's out in Atlanta, and he's
- 6:25Speaker 1: living his best life. Like I really thought that he
- 6:27Speaker 1: was going to return back to somebody's work, but he
- 6:30Speaker 1: is literally living his best life. He's playing about about
- 6:33Speaker 1: two bands. He plays, you know, for the church and
- 6:36Speaker 1: all these other things. And so I am just excited
- 6:39Speaker 1: to see that his letter years will be better as
- 6:43Speaker 1: he walks into this new season of just I'm gonna
- 6:47Speaker 1: say happiness. This is definitely a season of happiness for him.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So father, Father, Happy Father's.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Day, Happy Father's Day. I didn't know your dady paid
- 6:56Speaker 2: the base. My dad praid beast too.
- 6:59Speaker 1: So when I was probably in the twelfth grade, they
- 7:01Speaker 1: were still he's he was an army, still in in
- 7:03Speaker 1: the in the military time. They were still in Alabama,
- 7:07Speaker 1: and I wanted to play the bass because I was like, oh,
- 7:09Speaker 1: I want to be a bad bass, you know, bad
- 7:11Speaker 1: female bass, you know what I'm saying. And so he
- 7:15Speaker 1: bought me a Fender kit. So I had a bass
- 7:17Speaker 1: and a little amp, and he was He started showing
- 7:20Speaker 1: me some of the some of the notes, like he
- 7:22Speaker 1: wrote the board, like he wrote the actual board out
- 7:24Speaker 1: and everything, and I started learning. But when they moved
- 7:27Speaker 1: to Georgia. I just didn't have the self discipline to
- 7:29Speaker 1: keep learning, to teach myself, and I ain't had a
- 7:31Speaker 1: uh the resources at the time to uh, you know,
- 7:34Speaker 1: to keep lessons. So I uh, I gave it away.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I did. I gave it away.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But it's still in my heart though you know it's
- 7:41Speaker 1: in it's in my heart. Don't quartet us now, because
- 7:46Speaker 1: you know we'll go up. You know, I think we're
- 7:48Speaker 1: in an extra singing spirit, because why.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Listen, y'all don't know my brother.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Listen, we're talking about the a true worship Her, you guys, like.
- 8:03Speaker 2: That's where we met.
- 8:04Speaker 1: We met at the at the conference of conferences, the
- 8:07Speaker 1: Profeta cun Okay, I know y'all heard us talk about
- 8:10Speaker 1: Coach D's Profeta cun Her conference.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Now it's called the Unchurch conference.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Be looking out for that. But we met there. And listen,
- 8:18Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Every time every time my
- 8:21Speaker 1: brother hit the stage, things shift, like things fall off,
- 8:26Speaker 1: things just happen, all right, and big things all the
- 8:29Speaker 1: punt intended happened because he is just so submitted to God.
- 8:34Speaker 1: My guy is an award winning artist. Okay, let me
- 8:38Speaker 1: tell you albums Okay, and the albums are albuming, albuming.
- 8:43Speaker 2: When the children would say they'll put an ing on everything.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Yes, they are doing They are doing damage to hell
- 8:49Speaker 1: right now as we speak. Somebody and they call right
- 8:51Speaker 1: now saying God's getting ready to do something big for
- 8:54Speaker 1: my life.
- 8:55Speaker 2: At least once a week, once a week. I gotta
- 8:57Speaker 2: hear that. I gotta hear that, y'all.
- 9:00Speaker 1: He is a father, he's a husband, he's a pastor,
- 9:03Speaker 1: he's an educator. I don't think there's anything that he
- 9:06Speaker 1: has an experienced or done, and when he does it,
- 9:09Speaker 1: he does it well. Okay, we're super excited to have
- 9:12Speaker 1: my brother, our friend, our homeboy, pastor and Rique.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Oh, thank y'all so much for having me. I'm so
- 9:25Speaker 5: overjoyed that, first of all, you even asked me to
- 9:27Speaker 5: be here, and I'm grateful that it planned out as
- 9:30Speaker 5: well as it did.
- 9:30Speaker 2: It planned out so well.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You know what, when you told me at the unchurch
- 9:36Speaker 1: comference in December and you looked at me and you
- 9:39Speaker 1: was like, you're doing so well, And I was like,
- 9:42Speaker 1: you see me, like because you're a big deal, Like
- 9:44Speaker 1: you're such a big deal. It was like you see me,
- 9:47Speaker 1: And so I was super excited when you was like, yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I want to be on and I'm a calm and
- 9:50Speaker 1: you here, can y'all see him?
- 9:52Speaker 2: He right now? How are you?
- 9:58Speaker 3: And rique? I am good?
- 10:00Speaker 5: Like I'm really good and I mean it like I
- 10:04Speaker 5: remember in twenty twenty three, I was saying I'm good
- 10:08Speaker 5: and I wasn't and then life like hit really hard.
- 10:12Speaker 5: But it feels so good to be in a place
- 10:13Speaker 5: where I can say, like, I really am good and
- 10:16Speaker 5: mean it like it's not a cover up, it's not
- 10:19Speaker 5: the churchy answer.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really like I'm good.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah, because we be lying.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we did it that we call it. I'm
- 10:27Speaker 3: just speaking into this faith talk or whatever.
- 10:30Speaker 2: But really and truly we be broken. We have things
- 10:33Speaker 2: going on. What was going on in twenty twenty three.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Twenty twenty three, I was at a one of the
- 10:38Speaker 5: lowest places of my life where I don't.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Think I fully healed from things.
- 10:46Speaker 5: That happened during the pandemic in my life period, and
- 10:49Speaker 5: it felt like my life was caving in. Things were
- 10:52Speaker 5: still moving in my life, you know, family, all those
- 10:55Speaker 5: different things, but I got to a low place where
- 10:59Speaker 5: I was at. She then we was like planning thoughts
- 11:01Speaker 5: of suicide. In my head and I believe I tell
- 11:07Speaker 5: I tell the story when when I feel that to
- 11:10Speaker 5: like I feel that the devil knew I wouldn't do it.
- 11:13Speaker 5: But the fact that for the first time in my
- 11:15Speaker 5: life the thought even entered my mind, I knew I
- 11:19Speaker 5: had got into a place where I needed God and counseling.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and I and I got into a place.
- 11:25Speaker 5: I'm so grateful for my wife because she didn't judge me,
- 11:28Speaker 5: Like when I told her like I'm struggling and we
- 11:32Speaker 5: sat on the carpet and I just wept and just
- 11:35Speaker 5: poured everything out to her. She's just she cried with
- 11:38Speaker 5: me and was like, let's do whatever we need, you know,
- 11:41Speaker 5: to get you where you need to be. And I'm
- 11:43Speaker 5: so grateful that I successfully made it through that storm.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Man shout out, shout out to bab.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Me and Desert Ray was, Uh, if you had made
- 11:52Speaker 1: that post when y'all was had just got me and
- 11:54Speaker 1: he was like, let's talk about I know no, but
- 12:13Speaker 1: that's so I love that you brought that up because
- 12:15Speaker 1: in our community, especially Black community, and let's even just
- 12:20Speaker 1: go deeper into that like the spiritual, the the the church,
- 12:24Speaker 1: and I've heard I've heard both sides of the story
- 12:27Speaker 1: like oh you need therapy or oh you only need Jesus.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And I love the fact that you're a pastor for
- 12:33Speaker 1: one and you're you were able to say that I
- 12:37Speaker 1: needed therapy as a black man. So what is what
- 12:41Speaker 1: do you think the big fear is as we're talking
- 12:44Speaker 1: about Father's Day and with you being having the experience
- 12:47Speaker 1: as a black man, what do you think the hardship
- 12:50Speaker 1: is is making that that step towards therapy.
- 12:53Speaker 5: I think there's there's several factors. Just first of all,
- 12:57Speaker 5: just the lack of knowledge. We've always just been taught
- 13:00Speaker 5: that therapy is for crazy people, and you know, you're
- 13:04Speaker 5: being crazy if if you do go to therapy.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I feel that sometimes people.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Feel that they're not walking by faith if they use
- 13:12Speaker 5: other resources other than our typical traditional churchy things like
- 13:17Speaker 5: pray about it and you know, fast and we you know,
- 13:20Speaker 5: especially been a prophetic person, yeah, where you have walked
- 13:22Speaker 5: people through deliverance and things like that, It's like sometimes
- 13:25Speaker 5: like wait a minute, Like I'm able to do that
- 13:27Speaker 5: with other people, but why do I you know, and
- 13:30Speaker 5: I just I feel like there's.
- 13:32Speaker 3: A stigma that's attached to it.
- 13:34Speaker 5: But I feel that there's something empowering when you can
- 13:37Speaker 5: lay your pride aside and just say, hey, no, I
- 13:40Speaker 5: am still going to God because God has given me
- 13:43Speaker 5: this resource.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah, God, you know.
- 13:45Speaker 5: And I went to a Christian therapist and so everything
- 13:49Speaker 5: that that she was giving me was lace in the
- 13:53Speaker 5: Word of God. So it wasn't it wasn't trying to
- 13:56Speaker 5: pull me to things of this world to heal or process.
- 13:59Speaker 5: It was like, no, this scripture, this week's assignment is
- 14:03Speaker 5: leaning into to the prison of God. Because if I
- 14:06Speaker 5: be honest, I was My relationship with the Lord had become.
- 14:14Speaker 5: It had become based on if I had engagements coming up,
- 14:20Speaker 5: meaning like I wasn't just spending time with God to
- 14:23Speaker 5: spend time with God.
- 14:25Speaker 3: I was spending time with God for a word for
- 14:28Speaker 3: the church.
- 14:28Speaker 5: I had to preach at or spending time with God
- 14:31Speaker 5: so that I could make sure I was in a
- 14:32Speaker 5: place to lead people into worship. And so what I
- 14:35Speaker 5: was doing was when I would go and poor, I
- 14:37Speaker 5: was pouring from my personal reservoir versus pouring from my overflow.
- 14:41Speaker 5: So now I'm in a place where I spend time
- 14:44Speaker 5: with God just to spend time with Him. And when
- 14:47Speaker 5: I go out people are getting the overflow of my
- 14:49Speaker 5: relationship with him. I'm not leaving that place empty, you
- 14:52Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. And sometimes we would be like, oh,
- 14:54Speaker 5: I'm leaving here empty. No, like why would I leave
- 14:57Speaker 5: empty and y'all leaving full. So it's like I took
- 15:01Speaker 5: that cape off, like well, I got to be this
- 15:03Speaker 5: super hero. No, I'm human and I need God just
- 15:07Speaker 5: like you need God.
- 15:08Speaker 3: We all need them, you know.
- 15:09Speaker 5: And so I feel that that's what kind of broke
- 15:12Speaker 5: down those barriers, when I felt when I finally got
- 15:15Speaker 5: beyond myself and beyond my pride to realize, like the helper.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Needs help, that the helper needs help.
- 15:24Speaker 1: You you you you hitting on the target or what
- 15:26Speaker 1: the Lord told me, you going down a good lane.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Because I know that that is so serious because when
- 15:31Speaker 1: you think about the worshiper and you think about let's
- 15:34Speaker 1: talk about the worship space, especially in the church setting. Right,
- 15:38Speaker 1: you guys, and I'm going to say this very freely,
- 15:42Speaker 1: are the most pimped out UH.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Ministry in the church.
- 15:49Speaker 1: And I'm going to say that bolder because that's what
- 15:50Speaker 1: I've seen is not what I've heard, is not You
- 15:52Speaker 1: guys are pimped out and I and I not by everybody.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I'm going to say that, not by everybody, but I've
- 15:58Speaker 1: seen it to where there has been there has been damaged.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That's done because now I got this person that can
- 16:04Speaker 1: sing and I don't.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I'm not actually pouring into them. I'm paying them enough
- 16:10Speaker 2: to do something.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I'm employing them, and I'm not trying to see if
- 16:14Speaker 1: their soul is healthy.
- 16:16Speaker 2: What has been your experience in there?
- 16:18Speaker 1: And how do you maintain because I know you're you're
- 16:20Speaker 1: with Apostle Jenny's right, Yes, we love him, Okaypsogen one
- 16:27Speaker 1: day down together, Okay, had no idea.
- 16:31Speaker 2: We was like, how he gets both us the same?
- 16:33Speaker 3: How did he know?
- 16:34Speaker 2: But it was shout out to you, Apostogen. That's another day.
- 16:38Speaker 1: But how what is your if you find if someone
- 16:40Speaker 1: was to find themselves in that space, right, what would
- 16:43Speaker 1: be your advice to them and managing their relationship with
- 16:46Speaker 1: God to make sure that they're not in this place
- 16:48Speaker 1: space of being pimped out.
- 16:51Speaker 5: To be honest, I'm gonna be I'm gonna be real
- 16:52Speaker 5: with y'all. I got a job and I've kept the job,
- 17:00Speaker 5: so I don't have to say yes to anything that
- 17:02Speaker 5: I don't want to. And I feel that it's not everybody,
- 17:06Speaker 5: because some people, you know, make money, make enough money
- 17:08Speaker 5: from royalties, investments, all these different things. But I feel
- 17:12Speaker 5: that sometimes when the thing that you're gifted at becomes
- 17:16Speaker 5: your sole means of income, you'll say yes.
- 17:19Speaker 3: To things that you don't want to because you need
- 17:21Speaker 3: to keep your lights on.
- 17:23Speaker 5: And so I'm not coming against nobody, but I've realized,
- 17:26Speaker 5: like I've since I was eighteen years old, I've had
- 17:28Speaker 5: a job. I was in banking for eight years before
- 17:32Speaker 5: I transitioned over into education and now I'm a teacher
- 17:35Speaker 5: and I've got my master's, I'm getting my Tier one certification.
- 17:39Speaker 5: I recently two days ago, just got accepted to my
- 17:43Speaker 5: PhD program. And so it's like I'm leaning into this
- 17:49Speaker 5: other gift that God has given me as attains to youth.
- 17:51Speaker 5: But I thank God for my pastor, a possible Travis Jennings,
- 17:56Speaker 5: who has instilled in me just being in value. And
- 18:01Speaker 5: one of the models that he's always said is like
- 18:03Speaker 5: our church is a place where you're celebrated and not tolerated.
- 18:06Speaker 5: And so that it's in the church where I where
- 18:10Speaker 5: my gift was developed.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Is it a church where I've found the love for.
- 18:12Speaker 5: Youth and and and so when my when my assignment
- 18:16Speaker 5: as youth pastor ended, I was wrapping up my degree
- 18:21Speaker 5: and teaching and went straight into the school. Since I've
- 18:23Speaker 5: been there finished going four years, and I've already been
- 18:26Speaker 5: able to acquire a degree to become an assistant principal.
- 18:30Speaker 5: And this next thing would be for me to become
- 18:32Speaker 5: a principal, which ultimately I've been opened up my own
- 18:34Speaker 5: school and things like that, And so I'm grateful for
- 18:37Speaker 5: And I currently worship at Belonged Church. I'm a pastor
- 18:41Speaker 5: Lebrin and pastor or Nikka friend. And even with that,
- 18:45Speaker 5: I've seen this value of him checking in with me
- 18:48Speaker 5: just to say, hey, how are you? And and so
- 18:51Speaker 5: I feel that I've created these boundaries for myself to
- 18:56Speaker 5: where and it's always been in my head like I'm
- 18:59Speaker 5: keeping the job so that when I go to churches,
- 19:03Speaker 5: I'll say yes, even if their budget is not where
- 19:06Speaker 5: it needs to be best. So and so, I mean
- 19:10Speaker 5: I don't mean that for anyone, Like sometimes people will
- 19:12Speaker 5: try to try to lowball you and pimp you out
- 19:15Speaker 5: on all these kind of things, and they have it.
- 19:17Speaker 5: But they'll try to say down here, like I'm not
- 19:19Speaker 5: saying my team has a hearnment, but if God is
- 19:21Speaker 5: leading me to go somewhere that may not have the
- 19:24Speaker 5: budget that you know it would take to bring whatever
- 19:27Speaker 5: I paid my team out of pocket before, or I've
- 19:29Speaker 5: got an honorarium and paid my musicians and singers and
- 19:33Speaker 5: went home with enough for gas, you know, in my
- 19:35Speaker 5: earlier years. Because I'm like, like I want to be
- 19:37Speaker 5: because I got a job, So I'm like, I'll be
- 19:39Speaker 5: able to just take care of myself.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I'll take care of y'all.
- 19:42Speaker 5: But I feel like, as long as you do the
- 19:45Speaker 5: work of keeping your yes three sixty five pure, you
- 19:49Speaker 5: won't say yes to doors that God is not calling
- 19:52Speaker 5: you through. So can't nobody use you if you don't
- 19:55Speaker 5: put yourself in the hands as a tool.
- 19:57Speaker 2: You just helped me out so much.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Listen, like when I tell you he's so, He's so
- 20:03Speaker 1: on it right now, because that's not just for like
- 20:06Speaker 1: even the worship sector, that's for every sect of God's giving.
- 20:10Speaker 1: God's giving me the responsibility just as right and desiree
- 20:14Speaker 1: and always I always talk about the idea of I
- 20:18Speaker 1: know that we're supposed to do business together, entrepreneurship and
- 20:21Speaker 1: all that stuff like that. So the things that we
- 20:24Speaker 1: we go pay and we all sacrifice and we go
- 20:26Speaker 1: serve at certain places to do because God is leading
- 20:29Speaker 1: us there. It's because God is leading us there and
- 20:32Speaker 1: He's providing that way. And so even with you're saying, hey,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'm multifaceted for a reason, that's what I heard. I heard,
- 20:39Speaker 1: I am multifaceted for a reason. Goddn just make me
- 20:41Speaker 1: a worshiper. God didn't just make me an artist. God
- 20:44Speaker 1: is giving me the rim of education, like and you
- 20:48Speaker 1: love it and you embrace it so much. How did
- 20:51Speaker 1: you even get to the point where you said I
- 20:52Speaker 1: wanted to be an educator shout out.
- 20:54Speaker 5: To my students at Frederick Douglass. But no, like my
- 21:01Speaker 5: pastor brother sat it to me, I didn't even like
- 21:04Speaker 5: kids like that.
- 21:05Speaker 3: When I first came to the ministry.
- 21:06Speaker 5: It's been as I was a kid, but us I
- 21:08Speaker 5: was seventeen years old and I've been a part of
- 21:10Speaker 5: Harvest for seventeen years. And when I came in that's why,
- 21:13Speaker 5: like when people down the church, I came join in
- 21:16Speaker 5: and subscribe to those things because it's honestly, whether the
- 21:19Speaker 5: church was the first place that applauded me. And if
- 21:21Speaker 5: church was first place, even when I wasn't good, they
- 21:24Speaker 5: gave me opportunities to get in front. So when I
- 21:27Speaker 5: public speaking at things, I learned that in the church,
- 21:30Speaker 5: being able to move a crowd. I've learned that in
- 21:32Speaker 5: the church, and even the gift to desire to wanna.
- 21:37Speaker 5: My pastor made me the youth pastor. And I wasn't
- 21:40Speaker 5: even ordained minister. And I was bad when I first fell,
- 21:44Speaker 5: was bad to the bone. I was expelled from county,
- 21:47Speaker 5: suspended every week. And that same attitude when I got saved,
- 21:50Speaker 5: it traveled on over to the church. So I didn't
- 21:52Speaker 5: listen to nobody but my pastor. So I was the fighter.
- 21:55Speaker 5: I was fighting folks in the parking lot of the church.
- 21:58Speaker 5: I was in the pastor's office like every week for
- 22:01Speaker 5: something because I didn't cut somebody out, told somebody out.
- 22:03Speaker 5: But the orders delivering me from Cussom says two thousand
- 22:06Speaker 5: and nine.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I know the Yeah, I know what God got it
- 22:11Speaker 3: about me, you know?
- 22:13Speaker 5: And no, but it was there, like my pastor he
- 22:16Speaker 5: saw in me because I started naturally connecting with the youth,
- 22:19Speaker 5: because I knew what it felt like to not have
- 22:21Speaker 5: a father growing up and feeling like abandoned or things
- 22:24Speaker 5: like that.
- 22:24Speaker 3: And so I was there.
- 22:26Speaker 5: And I knew what it felt like when somebody kept
- 22:28Speaker 5: their word with me, like you had my respect. And
- 22:30Speaker 5: so even with my students, my dad he prophesied to
- 22:33Speaker 5: me and not knowing that youth ministry was preparing me
- 22:36Speaker 5: for a ministure on a larger level where I have
- 22:40Speaker 5: over a thousand students at my school that I'm connecting
- 22:43Speaker 5: with that they're coming to me for counseling and I'm
- 22:45Speaker 5: directing them buying them Bibles because they follow me on
- 22:48Speaker 5: social media, so they're saying my life and coming to
- 22:51Speaker 5: church with me on Sundays and things of that nature.
- 22:53Speaker 3: And so I just.
- 22:54Speaker 5: Felt God on that because it's honestly like I'm being
- 22:58Speaker 5: able to pour into my younger self through my students,
- 23:03Speaker 5: and it's an assignment. God has me here and and
- 23:08Speaker 5: He's just been growing me up in it. So I'm
- 23:10Speaker 5: the reason why I want to go into administration because
- 23:12Speaker 5: I feel like it'll pull me out of the classroom
- 23:14Speaker 5: to be able.
- 23:14Speaker 3: To reach more students at a time.
- 23:17Speaker 5: But I've literally been able to find my footing in
- 23:20Speaker 5: education it's not just a job that I'm collecting a
- 23:23Speaker 5: check from everybody. No, teachers don't make a whole bunch
- 23:27Speaker 5: of money for the work that we're doing because it's
- 23:30Speaker 5: beyond the classroom.
- 23:31Speaker 3: But the fulfillment that I get.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Just by knowing that I'm doing the work of God,
- 23:38Speaker 5: beyond music, beyond what I do at church on Sundays,
- 23:42Speaker 5: like I am literally where God wants me to be.
- 23:44Speaker 2: That's so good.
- 23:45Speaker 1: So would you say, because you just said before you ended,
- 23:49Speaker 1: that you're able to pour into them as if they
- 23:52Speaker 1: were you back in the day. So would you say
- 23:55Speaker 1: that that's part of your healing process, how you able
- 23:57Speaker 1: to heal yourself?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Like, so, I love that you. You're bringing up a
- 24:01Speaker 2: lot of topics that I wanted to bring up.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Everything You're doing such a good job, come on, come on,
- 24:06Speaker 1: oh my goodness. So, my my curiosity is that because
- 24:10Speaker 1: I know that you you were raised by your mom, and.
- 24:13Speaker 2: You're originally from Atlanta, George.
- 24:16Speaker 5: The really Grady Hospital Atlanta.
- 24:21Speaker 2: You know, she was like, Dad is not Atlanta.
- 24:28Speaker 5: You don't get no more Atlanta than they're born in
- 24:30Speaker 5: Grady Hospital.
- 24:32Speaker 2: But so do you.
- 24:34Speaker 1: And I was curious to know, and I didn't find
- 24:37Speaker 1: this out, so I wanted to know this. It's like,
- 24:39Speaker 1: was there ever a relationship introduction with your father?
- 24:43Speaker 5: There was an opportunity that he could have taken. He
- 24:46Speaker 5: just chose not to. I remember. I remember he would
- 24:49Speaker 5: pick my siblings up and I would be at the
- 24:52Speaker 5: house with my mom and so and my mom she
- 24:55Speaker 5: was just you know, my siblings we had like a
- 24:58Speaker 5: whole healing session where they felt like I was favored.
- 25:00Speaker 5: My mom showed me favoritism, but really she was trying
- 25:03Speaker 5: to overcompensate for the rejection that she knew I was
- 25:06Speaker 5: feeling as a as a young young boy. And so
- 25:09Speaker 5: I never grew up with my father, and so it
- 25:11Speaker 5: was all I knew was my mom. And so I
- 25:13Speaker 5: have your men in my school right now who caught
- 25:16Speaker 5: who referred to me as pops.
- 25:18Speaker 3: They test me right now.
- 25:19Speaker 5: My phone never go down, like you know, Pops, you
- 25:21Speaker 5: made it to Alabama, things like that, And but it's
- 25:24Speaker 5: like I'm able to be a father figure to them.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Some of them have great fathers, you know.
- 25:29Speaker 5: But one thing I have learned is that that sometimes
- 25:33Speaker 5: people can you can have father figures that are like
- 25:36Speaker 5: I believe y'all mentioned how sometimes we can have a
- 25:39Speaker 5: deficit growing up. Like it's like my father was good
- 25:42Speaker 5: in this area, but I was lacking in that area,
- 25:45Speaker 5: you know. And I feel like I've been filling in
- 25:47Speaker 5: those gaps. You know, yesterday I was at their football game.
- 25:52Speaker 5: Lord knows, I was tired, but because they asked me,
- 25:55Speaker 5: I told him I was going to show up, and
- 25:57Speaker 5: I showed up and things of that nature. So it
- 25:59Speaker 5: feels it it's almost as if, like you said, I'm
- 26:02Speaker 5: healing by being there for them, and because my goal
- 26:09Speaker 5: is I went through that so that you wouldn't have to.
- 26:12Speaker 5: So I'm filling in some of those gaps. And you know,
- 26:14Speaker 5: and it's it's a hard word because you know, they're
- 26:18Speaker 5: not my biological kids, right, you know, I get on them,
- 26:21Speaker 5: I whoop them, I fussed them out and all those
- 26:25Speaker 5: different and they at the end of the day, you know,
- 26:29Speaker 5: looking by coming session on my posts, they fill it
- 26:31Speaker 5: up every time. But it's it's like I'm not with
- 26:35Speaker 5: them twenty four to seven and I'm just now getting
- 26:37Speaker 5: with them while they're teenagers. So it's like a lot
- 26:40Speaker 5: of things and I'm but sis, I'm gonna tell you this,
- 26:43Speaker 5: God has been teaching me grace because I'm I was like,
- 26:49Speaker 5: I was hard, like really hard to the point I'm like,
- 26:52Speaker 5: I'm done with you.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I ain't talking the.
- 26:53Speaker 5: More because you because you know better, you shouldn't be
- 26:55Speaker 5: doing whatever. But God has been teaching me grace through
- 26:59Speaker 5: the weeds, through the through the lion, through the telling
- 27:03Speaker 5: me that you ain't doing this. And then I talked
- 27:05Speaker 5: my students how to snitch.
- 27:08Speaker 3: And they don't care. They like bump them street codes.
- 27:12Speaker 5: No, they send screenshots because they like, hey, you, I promise,
- 27:17Speaker 5: they said, screenshots. They'll tell on each other in each
- 27:19Speaker 5: other's face. You know, ain't miss home. So and so
- 27:21Speaker 5: did this, so and so was doing this this weekend.
- 27:24Speaker 5: They'll trying to hide their stories from me. They'll record it,
- 27:26Speaker 5: send it to me on some light and it ain't
- 27:28Speaker 5: even on up. I'm just trying to get you in trouble.
- 27:30Speaker 5: It's it's them saying like, I know you want to
- 27:33Speaker 5: mister Holmes his kids, and I don't want you.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Represent him in a way that you know whatever.
- 27:39Speaker 5: And so it's like we're learning though those rhythms and
- 27:42Speaker 5: I'm learning to not be like I'm done with you,
- 27:44Speaker 5: but raper saying I'm disappointed in what you did.
- 27:46Speaker 3: But I'm not disappointed in.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You because that's a difference. It's a difference, and that's
- 27:51Speaker 1: a difference because you know when we grow when we
- 27:55Speaker 1: grew up and we're seeing things and we're dealing with things,
- 27:58Speaker 1: and we've been told, oh, I'm just pointed in you,
- 28:01Speaker 1: that's like almost like a work like it's like so
- 28:05Speaker 1: it's like you you realize that what you know where
- 28:10Speaker 1: to place the disappointment that is so that's so free
- 28:13Speaker 1: and it's so good.
- 28:14Speaker 2: But I'm hearing you talking about these kids.
- 28:16Speaker 1: But that gotta be a different level of learning because
- 28:19Speaker 1: now you're a diddy.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, what I'm cool.
- 28:24Speaker 1: How has biological fatherhood changed you?
- 28:31Speaker 3: And what?
- 28:32Speaker 1: I guess the better question would be how has Cooper
- 28:37Speaker 1: shown you like a deeper revelation of fatherhood?
- 28:41Speaker 5: It been with Cooper, like I cry on the drop
- 28:45Speaker 5: her down by my son and my wife was just
- 28:48Speaker 5: playing with me this morning. She was she sent it
- 28:50Speaker 5: to our group chat that was a video of this
- 28:53Speaker 5: this father, what this this little boy? He was crying
- 28:56Speaker 5: his father had to sneak out the house because anytime
- 28:58Speaker 5: that dad leads, he just shows out. And Brianna was like,
- 29:02Speaker 5: if Cooper does this and Rique turning back around and
- 29:05Speaker 5: they know, but it showed me. It's really giving me
- 29:09Speaker 5: an insight into unconditional love. Like I never knew I
- 29:13Speaker 5: could love someone like this. I thought getting married to
- 29:17Speaker 5: my wife that was this, you know, this great love.
- 29:20Speaker 5: But having a child that depends on you and I'm
- 29:24Speaker 5: able to it amazes me that I'm able to be
- 29:28Speaker 5: an amazing father to my son. But I did not
- 29:31Speaker 5: have a father at his age. I've been able to
- 29:34Speaker 5: expose my son to things that I never experienced until
- 29:37Speaker 5: I became older. And so having Cooper has really opened
- 29:42Speaker 5: up my eyes to how God has always been there
- 29:45Speaker 5: for me from day one, like he was my father.
- 29:48Speaker 5: And the Bible says like if your mother or your
- 29:50Speaker 5: father will say you like, he'll be there. And so
- 29:52Speaker 5: it's it and it makes me mad sometimes it's well
- 29:56Speaker 5: because I often say to my wife like I just
- 29:58Speaker 5: could not imagine and how a father or a mother
- 30:03Speaker 5: could not be there for their child, like just seeing
- 30:06Speaker 5: him lights of my world, Like I can't go a
- 30:09Speaker 5: day without seeing him, you know, or or just seeing
- 30:12Speaker 5: a smile or what all those things and so and so, yeah,
- 30:15Speaker 5: like it's really giving me a.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Revelation of forgiveness.
- 30:19Speaker 5: I've been able to really forgive my father for not
- 30:23Speaker 5: being there for me by also saying I won't be
- 30:27Speaker 5: that and I'm gonna my son will never know. I
- 30:30Speaker 5: said to Cooper all the time, You'll never know what
- 30:32Speaker 5: it's like to be without me.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I think that's a beautiful point that you just made,
- 30:36Speaker 1: because sometimes we can get in the point where I'll
- 30:38Speaker 1: never be like this person but harbor anger.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 1: And so the thing about doing this simultaneously is how
- 30:46Speaker 1: do you do?
- 30:47Speaker 2: What does that look?
- 30:48Speaker 3: It's hard, It's hard.
- 30:49Speaker 5: It's so hard to it's hard to navigate both spaces
- 30:54Speaker 5: because it's a reality of I did not have this,
- 30:57Speaker 5: but I'm giving something that I did not have, and
- 31:01Speaker 5: and and.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yeah, like it, but it's for me.
- 31:04Speaker 5: It really, Everybody want to be a curse breaker until
- 31:07Speaker 5: it's how to be a curse breaker, you know what
- 31:09Speaker 5: I mean.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Everybody want to be the first until it's time to
- 31:12Speaker 3: be the first.
- 31:12Speaker 5: It's a heavy lift, but somebody has to lift it
- 31:14Speaker 5: because Cooper not gonna have to lift it. Cooper's not
- 31:17Speaker 5: about to have to have to slay a giant that
- 31:19Speaker 5: I refuse to kill him. So by being consistent in
- 31:22Speaker 5: my son's life. I'm tearing down a good lion that
- 31:25Speaker 5: made it through my blood line, you know, And so
- 31:28Speaker 5: Cooper would be able to always say my father was there,
- 31:31Speaker 5: my father was present, my father was there, even though
- 31:34Speaker 5: that wasn't my testimony, And and I just realized, I
- 31:37Speaker 5: realized that God allows everything.
- 31:41Speaker 3: He's sovereign.
- 31:42Speaker 5: And I just always think if I had that, would
- 31:44Speaker 5: I be the person I am today? And the answer
- 31:47Speaker 5: is no, because a lot of the decisions that I
- 31:50Speaker 5: make are based on the life that I that I
- 31:54Speaker 5: grew upliving, you know what I mean, And so not
- 31:57Speaker 5: trying to prove anything, but making sure I don't repeat anything.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, this is so good. A question that just
- 32:04Speaker 1: keeps going out, trying to get from away from it.
- 32:07Speaker 1: But I just keep hearing someone just leaning too. It
- 32:10Speaker 1: is that the idea of your your your relationship with
- 32:13Speaker 1: Apostle Jennies and your relationship with him. When you when
- 32:18Speaker 1: you say dad, when are you referring to him?
- 32:21Speaker 2: Right?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Just to be very clear, he's calling Apostle Jennie's dead.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Okay, So with.
- 32:26Speaker 1: You not having your father and experiencing frustration, rejection, pain,
- 32:33Speaker 1: how in the world do you open up to somebody
- 32:37Speaker 1: like apostle Jenny.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm gonna tell a good story. I'm
- 32:42Speaker 3: telling a story.
- 32:45Speaker 5: This story about to go go viral because Ali, it
- 32:48Speaker 5: sounds like it's made up.
- 32:49Speaker 3: But I promise it is not.
- 32:51Speaker 5: My grandma was the supervisor of several MacDonald's just throughout
- 32:57Speaker 5: my entire child. That so she had money and she's.
- 33:05Speaker 3: A slipping money every Sunday everything, you know, the holos.
- 33:09Speaker 3: She was in Veno hoologost handshakes.
- 33:10Speaker 5: And but she got me a job at Matt Donald's
- 33:13Speaker 5: Centerville Highway, Snellville, Georgia. And I worked there. I ain't
- 33:18Speaker 5: want to, but you know, my girl, but you know,
- 33:20Speaker 5: she got me here easy. I was bad, but I
- 33:23Speaker 5: would take like two hour breaks and not clock out
- 33:27Speaker 5: somebody because I was still bad. I was, that was
- 33:30Speaker 5: my bad face. And and I I was in the
- 33:34Speaker 5: drive through and this guy came through the drive through
- 33:38Speaker 5: and was like, you know, can I have a fish
- 33:41Speaker 5: fillet meal? And I want to launch because my dad
- 33:46Speaker 5: like he used to be like heavier like and he
- 33:48Speaker 5: lost so much weight and so he would come he
- 33:51Speaker 5: want his.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Friest fresh and large for fresh, and I'm like I.
- 33:56Speaker 5: Don't know why, Jess, but I was like they always
- 33:59Speaker 5: for like giving him this crazy attitude just out of
- 34:03Speaker 5: the blue, like uh, now you come to one of
- 34:06Speaker 5: the next win though, like just rule, pull up and
- 34:10Speaker 5: park over there, we'll bring it out to you.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Purposely forget about him. And so he came in to
- 34:16Speaker 3: the It was like, hey, you and I been waiting
- 34:18Speaker 3: for friends or whatever. Just give an attitude whatever, And so
- 34:21Speaker 3: give him his food and he comes to again and
- 34:24Speaker 3: I give him the same attitude.
- 34:26Speaker 5: And one night, it's a true story. One night, I'm
- 34:31Speaker 5: at home. We didn't have cable, but if you had
- 34:33Speaker 5: an antenna, you got certain channels, and that was a
- 34:37Speaker 5: TV station. There's still is a TV station, channel fifty
- 34:40Speaker 5: seven in Georgia.
- 34:43Speaker 3: And it was late one night.
- 34:45Speaker 5: And I was just flipping through channels trying to find
- 34:48Speaker 5: something to watch.
- 34:50Speaker 3: And guess who comes on the TV Apostle.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Gens this man that I have been ruled to every
- 35:01Speaker 5: time he comes through this Matt Donald's drive through. So
- 35:04Speaker 5: in my mind, I grew up Baptists, and one thing
- 35:06Speaker 5: the Baptist church taught you was you do not disrespect
- 35:09Speaker 5: no passer, and so everything is like okay, the next
- 35:12Speaker 5: time he comes through, I'm gonna give him stellar service,
- 35:15Speaker 5: all this kind of stuff, you know whatever. And I
- 35:17Speaker 5: watched that whole service. They would shouting and all this
- 35:19Speaker 5: kind of stuff like we didn't do that Baptis chants.
- 35:21Speaker 3: But I'm like, oh my god, you know.
- 35:23Speaker 5: And so no, lie, he never came back because they
- 35:26Speaker 5: end up moving, So he never came back through. But
- 35:29Speaker 5: at my high school, a guy named Tommy Cody started playing.
- 35:34Speaker 5: I had a little single group of high school came through.
- 35:36Speaker 5: He started playing, started playing for for the group.
- 35:40Speaker 3: It was God, Enrique Holmes and the Power Praise.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Wait now so the Gladys and the Pills.
- 35:54Speaker 3: But real it was my music teacher who saved, like
- 35:57Speaker 3: really to save my life.
- 35:58Speaker 5: He came up with this group or ever and and
- 36:02Speaker 5: Temmy started playing.
- 36:03Speaker 3: He ended up playing for us, invited us to his church.
- 36:07Speaker 5: He was like, Hey, I want to invite you out
- 36:08Speaker 5: to our church fifth Sunday for family friends Sunday, not
- 36:11Speaker 5: to sing or anything, just to come. And so we
- 36:15Speaker 5: me and my sister, we we went and we visited
- 36:18Speaker 5: that fifth Sunday and we sat in the bag and
- 36:21Speaker 5: we're just up there, praise and worship is going on
- 36:24Speaker 5: and the pastor walks in, but he's walking away in
- 36:29Speaker 5: the back.
- 36:29Speaker 3: He's walking in.
- 36:30Speaker 5: He turns around and I sit down and literally just
- 36:36Speaker 5: and my sister on it was like, what are you doing?
- 36:40Speaker 5: I was like, and he said he cut he saw
- 36:43Speaker 5: me as well. Wow, and was like he told past Stepane,
- 36:46Speaker 5: I know.
- 36:47Speaker 3: That I know that boy from somewhere.
- 36:48Speaker 5: And right before he got to preach, he said he
- 36:50Speaker 5: told her that's that demon from Matt Donalds that I
- 36:53Speaker 5: was telling you about the demon that tell me about
- 36:59Speaker 5: and we talked that the service. I apologize him and
- 37:02Speaker 5: from there that was seventeen years ago. Seventeen years ago
- 37:06Speaker 5: when I came to the Hartsibonaco, and since then it
- 37:09Speaker 5: was like he was he was the father that I
- 37:12Speaker 5: never had, that I needed, Like I opened up to
- 37:14Speaker 5: him about everything in my life. He's never dropped me.
- 37:17Speaker 5: He was the first first person that rebute me, and
- 37:20Speaker 5: that really just pointed me in a direction that God
- 37:23Speaker 5: really wanted me to go in. And it's no dit
- 37:26Speaker 5: to any other other male figures I've had plenty RP.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Reverend Carrie Harris, who who helped rear me and you
- 37:33Speaker 5: know my godparents, like like really just with those father figures.
- 37:37Speaker 3: But this is the first pastor that I.
- 37:39Speaker 5: Had that really had my destiny like in his mouth,
- 37:43Speaker 5: and he spoke to that part of me that I
- 37:46Speaker 5: did not know about jazz.
- 37:47Speaker 3: I had never known about prophetic.
- 37:49Speaker 5: I never knew about speaking in tongues, shouting prophesience, singing
- 37:53Speaker 5: the song of the Lord. And he taught me, Enrique,
- 37:57Speaker 5: the Lord is about to let you. You're gonna singing
- 38:00Speaker 5: beyond the track. So once the track end, God's gonna
- 38:04Speaker 5: give you something to say. And from there seventeen years,
- 38:07Speaker 5: he's been developing me and just really it healed parts
- 38:10Speaker 5: to me that I honestly tried to bury under rejection.
- 38:17Speaker 1: He has healed parts from of me that I try
- 38:21Speaker 1: to bury under rejection. Because we listen, I've dealt with
- 38:25Speaker 1: that rejection thing. And one thing rejections say tell you
- 38:29Speaker 1: is that you can do it by yourself. You'll need
- 38:31Speaker 1: nobody because you don't want to feel that rejection again,
- 38:35Speaker 1: because it's.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Like a stab to the heart.
- 38:38Speaker 1: It's like I'm forever harming myself, but there's no death,
- 38:43Speaker 1: Like I can't I can't die from this, but I
- 38:46Speaker 1: can harm myself in the pain. Can I can feel
- 38:49Speaker 1: this pain. It's like it's just a never ending pain.
- 38:51Speaker 1: But that's so beautiful. So now I'm curious as to
- 38:54Speaker 1: what was the conversation, Like when you said I wanted
- 38:57Speaker 1: to date your daughter.
- 38:58Speaker 5: Weird because we were raised like siblings, like, but we
- 39:05Speaker 5: didn't get along, Me and briand didn't get along because
- 39:07Speaker 5: we're me and Travis, who is the oldest. He was
- 39:09Speaker 5: like we were best friends. I don't know if you've
- 39:12Speaker 5: ever seen the movie Step Brothers, but our entire relationship
- 39:15Speaker 5: was built around how they were brothers, and so we
- 39:18Speaker 5: were just bad to the ball, like and Brianna would
- 39:20Speaker 5: do little bad stuff.
- 39:22Speaker 3: I think she had a crush on me, but she
- 39:23Speaker 3: would do like little.
- 39:24Speaker 5: Bad stuff, like like she was like, you know, Dad
- 39:27Speaker 5: don't want to learn how to drive, and so he
- 39:29Speaker 5: would take the car from us. We were using the
- 39:32Speaker 5: car and let her use it, like to learn how
- 39:34Speaker 5: to drive and stuff. But it was just like I
- 39:36Speaker 5: think she was just whatever. But I was her youth
- 39:39Speaker 5: pastor as well because I was just like a few years.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Older than them.
- 39:42Speaker 5: But once she graduated, most of the youth would stay
- 39:47Speaker 5: coming to youth Bible stuff you think of, you know,
- 39:49Speaker 5: youth Bible study. She immediately stopped coming up there. I
- 39:52Speaker 5: think she liked me, and I think she knew something.
- 39:56Speaker 5: But she went to college and we would talk more
- 40:00Speaker 5: and more and more.
- 40:01Speaker 1: And.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just it naturally turned into something. And we
- 40:07Speaker 5: tried to lie and come up with like this life,
- 40:10Speaker 5: how I was gonna tell that and all this kind
- 40:12Speaker 5: of stuff, but Pat Stephanie already knew, and so I
- 40:16Speaker 5: went and sat down, had a one on one with him,
- 40:18Speaker 5: and she had a one.
- 40:19Speaker 3: On one with him, and it was it was it
- 40:21Speaker 3: was rocky. I ain't gonna lie. It was definitely rocky.
- 40:23Speaker 3: We re mem Brionna.
- 40:24Speaker 5: We dated for like two to three years and then
- 40:27Speaker 5: we broke up for like two to three years.
- 40:29Speaker 3: We broke up for three to four years, like like
- 40:31Speaker 3: three and a half years.
- 40:32Speaker 2: So how old were y'all when y'all started dating it originally?
- 40:36Speaker 3: So we got back together. We got married twenty twenty two.
- 40:40Speaker 5: We got back together twenty November of twenty twenty one,
- 40:43Speaker 5: so we had been broken up.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Since like twenty eighteen, twenty seventeen.
- 40:50Speaker 5: And wow, this is this, this is crazy, and so
- 40:55Speaker 5: like twenty fifteen that was wow, that like ten years ago.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Like no, like that was crazy. But we broke up.
- 41:03Speaker 3: We broke up for a minute.
- 41:04Speaker 5: We broke with for like three years, but during that
- 41:06Speaker 5: time of breakup we were heartbroken.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Butt we built. Browna acquired her first house. I did.
- 41:12Speaker 5: She traveled the world. I chopped the world, and it
- 41:14Speaker 5: grew us up. That's some of the timing of God.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Because if we.
- 41:17Speaker 5: Would have got married when we when we thought we
- 41:19Speaker 5: wanted to get mad and when we thought we wanted
- 41:21Speaker 5: it and needed, we would have been divorced because we
- 41:25Speaker 5: were both immature, we were both selfish, we were both
- 41:28Speaker 5: too dependent on outside opinions of what we should be
- 41:32Speaker 5: and looked like, and all those kinds of things. And
- 41:33Speaker 5: so I'm just grateful just the timing of God. And
- 41:37Speaker 5: I'm grateful for parents who just supportive, you know, like
- 41:42Speaker 5: and even since we've had Cooper, like our.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Parents, they love our son.
- 41:46Speaker 5: But me and Browna, we've been able to create like
- 41:48Speaker 5: our own family and our own boundaries and how we
- 41:51Speaker 5: do things and how we live and all those things.
- 41:53Speaker 3: And so it's been beautiful.
- 41:55Speaker 1: No, y'all, like seeing y'all. You'll see the pictures, you
- 42:00Speaker 1: know how some people pictures be fake. No, like y'all,
- 42:03Speaker 1: I'm seeing y'all in person well before prior to Cooper
- 42:06Speaker 1: and prior to you know, all this stuff, and just
- 42:10Speaker 1: just you just genuinely happy, Like I just do you
- 42:13Speaker 1: feel that? Doesn't way like just the genuineness in his
- 42:16Speaker 1: and his happiness and you don't get that all the time.
- 42:19Speaker 1: And so I'm I was really curious. I was like,
- 42:21Speaker 1: how did that work out to where he was like,
- 42:23Speaker 1: oh yeah, I called my dad.
- 42:25Speaker 3: At first, I was like, it didn't work out.
- 42:27Speaker 2: It was confused to me.
- 42:28Speaker 5: There was like World War Doc gone three. It didn't
- 42:31Speaker 5: work out at first, Like.
- 42:32Speaker 3: We we we literally broke up and did not talk.
- 42:35Speaker 2: So at what point did you know she was your wife?
- 42:39Speaker 3: I thought I knew the first go round. I thought
- 42:42Speaker 3: I knew the first go around.
- 42:44Speaker 5: And I contemplated, like, after we broke up, I ain't
- 42:47Speaker 5: getting married mm because I'm not finna go through that
- 42:50Speaker 5: again because that felt too much like rejection, you know.
- 42:53Speaker 5: And so I went three years and then my best
- 42:56Speaker 5: friend Phil we was I even stopped going over their
- 43:00Speaker 5: house for like Sunday dinners and all that kind of stuff.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Yoh yeah it did, Oh yes, it did for for over.
- 43:07Speaker 5: Three years, and one day my brother, my vesselor, and
- 43:12Speaker 5: Phil his wife. They were going over to my parents'
- 43:17Speaker 5: house for Sunday dinner and she was like you should come.
- 43:22Speaker 5: I was like, you know, I'm not coming, you know,
- 43:25Speaker 5: and so she was like you should come, like for real,
- 43:28Speaker 5: you should come. And so I was like, I'm not coming.
- 43:32Speaker 5: I made a left out of the church parking lot
- 43:34Speaker 5: to go home, and I end up testing like, hey,
- 43:36Speaker 5: I'm on the way, went over there. The conversation at
- 43:40Speaker 5: the table, this is my first time over there in years,
- 43:42Speaker 5: you know, in this setting, and the conversation just kind
- 43:46Speaker 5: of went that way, and Phil and Christina that they
- 43:50Speaker 5: ended up asking, like in front of family, so why
- 43:52Speaker 5: haven't y'all tried again? And I was like I don't know, Like,
- 43:58Speaker 5: you know, I love her all the kind of things,
- 44:00Speaker 5: but I don't know. After that, I called her the
- 44:05Speaker 5: next day, was like, this is November twenty twenty one.
- 44:08Speaker 5: I caught it was like, hey, you know, I would
- 44:10Speaker 5: like to go out to eat. We went to Houston's
- 44:14Speaker 5: in Atlanta, and from there we decided that we wanted
- 44:19Speaker 5: to just try it again.
- 44:21Speaker 1: And that's a big That's a big deal though, like
- 44:24Speaker 1: because a lot of people will say I don't I
- 44:27Speaker 1: don't want to ever like you. You had already professed like,
- 44:29Speaker 1: oh I don't want to get married, but it's gonn
- 44:30Speaker 1: feel like that. But it was really because you knew
- 44:33Speaker 1: in your heart that she was your one like and
- 44:36Speaker 1: so for the fact that you would, you are so brave,
- 44:40Speaker 1: like no, like real talk like you are so brave
- 44:43Speaker 1: because I'm wanting to.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Be like again, you ain't got it fool me once.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Okay, you see this finger is empty, and it's so
- 44:55Speaker 1: empty for right now Jesus.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Right now.
- 44:59Speaker 5: But that's how it was like. And we went out
- 45:01Speaker 5: to eat November. It's like maybe September November, but December
- 45:07Speaker 5: about a ring right before Christmas January I proposed and
- 45:12Speaker 5: then except the September of twenty twenty two, got married
- 45:16Speaker 5: and this year made three years of marriage. And so
- 45:19Speaker 5: it's it hasn't been it hasn't been perfect. But but
- 45:23Speaker 5: pre medal counselor prepared us. We did pre medal counseling
- 45:26Speaker 5: with Bishop Brian and Lady dev They were peers and
- 45:30Speaker 5: they prepared us. We took a break during our counseling,
- 45:35Speaker 5: like we shut our counselor down, said, nah, we ain't
- 45:37Speaker 5: moving until we get over this whatever, Like it was
- 45:39Speaker 5: real and I'm just so grateful we were real with
- 45:42Speaker 5: each other. And the thing is we were we are
- 45:44Speaker 5: best friends, so like all that little face up, we
- 45:48Speaker 5: ain't faking it till we make it. Yeah, we ain't
- 45:50Speaker 5: gonna fake for nobody, Like we ain't coming because we ain't.
- 45:54Speaker 5: Our friends, our friends that invited us to eat there,
- 45:57Speaker 5: our friends us out to eat and we told them
- 45:59Speaker 5: we not coming because we ain't.
- 46:01Speaker 3: We ain't in that space. We don't have the energy
- 46:04Speaker 3: to be put on in the front of y'all. No,
- 46:06Speaker 3: we're not coming.
- 46:07Speaker 1: That's so good because we are, Like I society will
- 46:11Speaker 1: teach you like, oh, you know, just just show face.
- 46:14Speaker 1: What does that even mean? Because I want to show
- 46:17Speaker 1: you don't really.
- 46:17Speaker 5: Want to show your face, so right, and it's gonna
- 46:19Speaker 5: be just a blank stare because I don't got it.
- 46:22Speaker 3: And it's not to say that, like you can't plow
- 46:24Speaker 3: through them, you know when you need to do whatever.
- 46:26Speaker 5: But we can't make it to that game night because
- 46:29Speaker 5: we ain't where we need to be right now, and
- 46:30Speaker 5: we need to do this work on getting us where
- 46:32Speaker 5: we need to be. But we'll range at that and
- 46:36Speaker 5: we're real about it, you know what I mean. And
- 46:37Speaker 5: so I appreciate the honesty. Even in twenty twenty three
- 46:41Speaker 5: when I went through that season, it was just moments
- 46:44Speaker 5: of a moment of honesty. But to just sit down
- 46:46Speaker 5: like this is what I'm going through, this is what's
- 46:49Speaker 5: happening in.
- 46:49Speaker 3: My life, and this is what I need, you know
- 46:52Speaker 3: what I mean.
- 46:53Speaker 5: And so our family, our family, like our little family
- 46:57Speaker 5: that we built and then our overall family is as
- 47:00Speaker 5: we're just in a great place.
- 47:03Speaker 2: That's so good. That's so good. Man.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I know, I know you got you gotta be somewhere.
- 47:08Speaker 1: So I got one more question for you, because this
- 47:10Speaker 1: this personal for me. Your music has, like we said
- 47:14Speaker 1: in again, it just has blessed.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Me personally.
- 47:19Speaker 1: And I know your viewers, your I don't like saying
- 47:22Speaker 1: things your followers. It's something about your anointing that it's
- 47:31Speaker 1: just it's pure and it seems like there's a story
- 47:35Speaker 1: behind everything that you've written. And specifically speaking about this song,
- 47:39Speaker 1: it's not on the last album.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I can't think of the album at its on, but
- 47:43Speaker 2: we'll stay here an way.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Listen, I where how do you construct like this art
- 47:52Speaker 1: of worship?
- 47:53Speaker 2: Like what are you what, what are your Where do
- 47:56Speaker 2: you have to be? Do you do? You just go
- 47:58Speaker 2: in your room in the quiet space?
- 48:00Speaker 1: So do you driving? Like I'm just like, how do
- 48:02Speaker 1: you get this work of art to lift up to God?
- 48:06Speaker 5: Honestly, a lot of my songs come from the flows
- 48:11Speaker 5: that the Lord gives me when I'm leading worship, and
- 48:15Speaker 5: so it'll be a moment like even you're gonna see it.
- 48:18Speaker 5: The song I did with Keilante, that song during the
- 48:21Speaker 5: pandemic I sung at All Nations Atlanta, and when I
- 48:24Speaker 5: got up there, I wanted to just kind of feel
- 48:26Speaker 5: the atmosphere out a little bit, and I was just like,
- 48:27Speaker 5: tell me, who can stap me?
- 48:29Speaker 3: Just started singing that little line. And a year later, I.
- 48:32Speaker 5: Was like, that's a song, Like let me let me
- 48:34Speaker 5: write to that. And even something big. I was in
- 48:36Speaker 5: the service and I just started declaring over the people,
- 48:39Speaker 5: God's getting ready to do something big in my life,
- 48:41Speaker 5: and we just it went and Dante bo saying, rique
- 48:45Speaker 5: we need Like that's a song, bro, Like you need
- 48:48Speaker 5: to do something with that, and so wrote that. But
- 48:50Speaker 5: it's like those moments, those spontaneous moments in worship moments,
- 48:54Speaker 5: and I ain't gonna lie when I when I write,
- 48:57Speaker 5: I don't write if I'm not inspired. I'm not one
- 49:00Speaker 5: of them people, Like there's songwriters out here who like, hey,
- 49:03Speaker 5: I need to write some songs, let me go.
- 49:05Speaker 3: And I ain't inspired. I'm not writing.
- 49:07Speaker 5: But the Lord will like And my my sacred place,
- 49:14Speaker 5: I'm telling y'all my sikerself, it's the bathroom.
- 49:20Speaker 3: I don't even I don't I don't even have to,
- 49:22Speaker 3: like not even using the restume.
- 49:24Speaker 5: Like I would literally close the toilet, sit on top
- 49:26Speaker 5: of it, bring a little table in and sit there
- 49:29Speaker 5: and I would just write sermons, songs, all.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Those kinds of things.
- 49:34Speaker 5: I don't know, Like it's just it's maybe it's like
- 49:36Speaker 5: a man thing like me and for two hours and
- 49:41Speaker 5: forget while we went in there, get me to use
- 49:44Speaker 5: the restroom?
- 49:45Speaker 3: What about doing?
- 49:46Speaker 5: But no, like it's like those moments and it's like
- 49:49Speaker 5: God breathes on it. I can tell when a when
- 49:51Speaker 5: a song is for the world or when it's just
- 49:53Speaker 5: a song that.
- 49:53Speaker 3: God gave me for me.
- 49:55Speaker 5: And and so it's some of those moments where we'll
- 49:57Speaker 5: let the world in on my worship with the Lord.
- 50:00Speaker 5: If he tells me this is something for an album
- 50:02Speaker 5: something for the world, but if it's something where I
- 50:05Speaker 5: was in worship and that song minister to me, like
- 50:07Speaker 5: it's I think it's a difference between a song that
- 50:10Speaker 5: God was ministering to you with, yeah, and then sometimes
- 50:13Speaker 5: that song that got minister to you with years later
- 50:15Speaker 5: he'll say, now you can minister to other people with it,
- 50:17Speaker 5: but let it do the work in you first. And
- 50:20Speaker 5: so songs like that like worked the way that song
- 50:24Speaker 5: that was a flow when we were practicing for the album,
- 50:28Speaker 5: I literally just started flowing into that and rehearse and
- 50:31Speaker 5: I said, I think that might that.
- 50:35Speaker 3: And so we did it.
- 50:36Speaker 5: We we end up flowing into it doing that recording
- 50:39Speaker 5: for the Try Again album, and it wreaded us.
- 50:43Speaker 3: It wretted us.
- 50:43Speaker 5: And so even on this new album, the You're Gonna
- 50:47Speaker 5: See An album, after I sung here Waiting with Tila, Yeah.
- 50:55Speaker 3: I was like, say here and wait on you and.
- 50:59Speaker 5: The people just I thought that, you know whatever, and
- 51:03Speaker 5: I noticed, like that's one of my most played songs,
- 51:06Speaker 5: my top five play songs, And it's just something like wow,
- 51:11Speaker 5: like God, you're really using stuff that you gave me.
- 51:16Speaker 3: It ain't gonna lie. Some people are master writing for me.
- 51:19Speaker 5: I get blown away every single time when the song
- 51:21Speaker 5: hits the way it does, you know.
- 51:23Speaker 3: And so yeah, that that's pretty much my little secret.
- 51:26Speaker 5: Like a song will come in a moment when I'm
- 51:29Speaker 5: traveling or something like and I'm flowing. Yeah, And then
- 51:33Speaker 5: got to tell me, like if he wants me to
- 51:35Speaker 5: go and write verses and build it out and and
- 51:37Speaker 5: that's what it is, that's what it'll be.
- 51:39Speaker 1: That's so beautiful. That's the beautiful thing about the prophetic.
- 51:42Speaker 2: And some people get.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Confused about the PROFETI but they don't understand, Like God
- 51:47Speaker 1: just really like and I'm not I'm not surprised, but
- 51:51Speaker 1: I think you're so brilliant that it was like, what's
- 51:55Speaker 1: your structure?
- 51:56Speaker 2: Like, what's what's your strategy? Because I don't know how
- 51:59Speaker 2: you come up with cause it hit every time without fail. Desiraate,
- 52:05Speaker 2: I got to hear from you, man.
- 52:07Speaker 3: So here we go.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Oh on the word camera, help my camera stop?
- 52:15Speaker 3: Stop stop painting on daz. There we go, there you
- 52:23Speaker 3: there you go.
- 52:25Speaker 2: I did that. Man.
- 52:28Speaker 1: I've been so inspired. I love to sit in here
- 52:32Speaker 1: and just listening and and what God keeps one theme
- 52:37Speaker 1: that he keeps bringing back to me is the importance
- 52:39Speaker 1: of owning your mountain of influence. That's so good, you
- 52:43Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Like God knew before you even
- 52:46Speaker 1: got here that you' supposed to be an education you
- 52:48Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And what I what I'm so
- 52:50Speaker 1: grateful for, is that you didn't allow your earlier situations
- 52:55Speaker 1: and circumstances to keep you from leaning into what he
- 52:58Speaker 1: was saying for you. And so not only are you
- 53:01Speaker 1: in the classroom, but he's elevating you to be in
- 53:04Speaker 1: a position where you can make legislation, you know what
- 53:06Speaker 1: I'm saying, where you can actually change the landscape of
- 53:09Speaker 1: what education looks like. And there's so many more people
- 53:13Speaker 1: who has that mantle in that grace who haven't quite
- 53:16Speaker 1: tapped into that, but I think it's so beautiful that
- 53:19Speaker 1: you have. So that's just what kept coming to me
- 53:21Speaker 1: as I'm as I think about myself, like I've been
- 53:25Speaker 1: doing here since I was twelve. I so i started
- 53:27Speaker 1: out as a license cosmtologist, So in my mind, I'm
- 53:30Speaker 1: just a cosmetologist. But here these last few years, he's
- 53:33Speaker 1: been opening up, opening up this mountain of media, this
- 53:37Speaker 1: mountain of you know, entertainment, and I still don't fully
- 53:40Speaker 1: know what that looks like, but I'm like, let me
- 53:43Speaker 1: just lean into that because that's what the that's the trajectory.
- 53:46Speaker 1: And even if I look back over my life, I've
- 53:47Speaker 1: had some type of camera in my hand since i
- 53:50Speaker 1: can remember. You know what I'm saying, but I didn't
- 53:52Speaker 1: think and think of it. So I'm just excited. Thank
- 53:54Speaker 1: you for coming and sharing your story, giving us a
- 53:58Speaker 1: little insight into who mister Enrique years. I think sometimes
- 54:01Speaker 1: people think they know you just because they follow you
- 54:03Speaker 1: on social media, but I love when we get to
- 54:05Speaker 1: have conversations, when we really get to hear the heart
- 54:07Speaker 1: behind the person. So I'm just so grateful, So thank you.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Honored to be here and this could be.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Home, this could be home.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Listen, he up, listen, I know you got something coming up,
- 54:20Speaker 1: Like can you tell us you got another album?
- 54:22Speaker 5: Yeah, So I actually am going to release the deluxe
- 54:26Speaker 5: version of You're Gonna See It. So doing my album
- 54:30Speaker 5: released concert for the original You're going to See It,
- 54:34Speaker 5: I brought some other friends on to just kind of
- 54:37Speaker 5: re imagine some songs, so Manifestation. I'll be releasing that
- 54:42Speaker 5: on the lux with Jeffrey Golden as the feature and
- 54:47Speaker 5: then Dante bo Is on You're Gonna See It, and
- 54:50Speaker 5: y'all already heard firm Foundation where he's able with Kimily Joy.
- 54:53Speaker 3: There's some other little things that will be on there.
- 54:55Speaker 5: And then we're currently planning like a summerfall, and so
- 55:01Speaker 5: we're gonna be coming to some cities near near y'all,
- 55:03Speaker 5: and so pull up on us and and let's let's
- 55:07Speaker 5: honestly but but the thing is the reason why didn't
- 55:10Speaker 5: rush into a tourist because I really want this to
- 55:14Speaker 5: be an experience, like you're gonna see it. It's not
- 55:17Speaker 5: just an album title. But I really believe that as
- 55:19Speaker 5: we come together doing these services and doing these experiences,
- 55:23Speaker 5: that people will literally.
- 55:24Speaker 3: See what they've like literally been saying yeah.
- 55:27Speaker 5: And so I don't want it to just be like, oh,
- 55:29Speaker 5: we coming, everybody, come on there, hear the album by
- 55:31Speaker 5: a shirt whatever, but no, like, make sure you bring
- 55:35Speaker 5: your expectation, you know what I mean. And so I'm
- 55:38Speaker 5: just really believing God that this's gonna be that's gonna
- 55:40Speaker 5: be that thing that kind of tips the scale for
- 55:42Speaker 5: some people and they're gonna really see manifestations happen before
- 55:46Speaker 5: their eyes.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Well, does a right We gotta go. You already know,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and so we gotta go. We gotta be in a building. Okay,
- 55:51Speaker 1: so because we support Okay.
- 55:55Speaker 2: So listen.
- 55:55Speaker 1: The tradition of just ass is to allow our guests
- 55:58Speaker 1: to have the final word.
- 55:59Speaker 2: We've said a lot.
- 56:00Speaker 1: We talked about how you know fatherhood and how you
- 56:04Speaker 1: know you sustain.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Your marriage with your beautiful wife, how you enjoy being
- 56:08Speaker 2: a father.
- 56:09Speaker 1: But if there is anything that you want to land
- 56:11Speaker 1: a plane on, or even if you came with your
- 56:14Speaker 1: heart the floorish yours, you can talk to the audience.
- 56:17Speaker 5: There's something I've been that I studied a few months ago,
- 56:20Speaker 5: and I wasn't even planning on mentioned this, but there
- 56:23Speaker 5: it's called the Baier men are phenomenon, and it's basically is,
- 56:29Speaker 5: I don't know if y'all have ever been riding down
- 56:32Speaker 5: the street and you know, you just you just zoned
- 56:36Speaker 5: out or whatever the case is. But it's not until
- 56:39Speaker 5: you get something that you start sending it everywhere. Promise
- 56:43Speaker 5: that for my wife and my wife somebody hit my
- 56:46Speaker 5: wife's car, so she had to get a rental car
- 56:49Speaker 5: and we end up getting a super Rule. I had
- 56:51Speaker 5: never ridden in a super Rules, seen super routs and
- 56:54Speaker 5: anything like that, but all of a sudden when I
- 56:58Speaker 5: when we rented the super Rule, the only thing I
- 57:00Speaker 5: kept noticing on the road as I'm pulling out of
- 57:02Speaker 5: my neighborhood Super Rule on the Highway, super Rulee in
- 57:06Speaker 5: Public's parking lot, Super Rules.
- 57:08Speaker 3: And I looked it.
- 57:10Speaker 5: Up because I appreciate it a few months ago. And
- 57:13Speaker 5: it's called the better men of phenomena, meaning that once
- 57:17Speaker 5: you are exposed to something one time, it's not that
- 57:22Speaker 5: that thing is now all of a sudden popping up
- 57:24Speaker 5: around you. You're just more aware of what it is
- 57:28Speaker 5: that's around you. And there's individuals who are feeling as
- 57:32Speaker 5: if they're not seeing what they want to see. And
- 57:36Speaker 5: I believe that you don't have a lack of it
- 57:39Speaker 5: been around you. You have just had a lack of
- 57:42Speaker 5: exposure of it like you in it. And so basically,
- 57:47Speaker 5: if you know your dream card is a Mercedes, why
- 57:50Speaker 5: haven't you gone to the lot to test drive it?
- 57:53Speaker 5: If you know you want to own a home, what's
- 57:55Speaker 5: stopping you from going and walking through some open houses?
- 57:58Speaker 3: It's free.
- 58:00Speaker 5: If you know that you want this certain style or
- 58:02Speaker 5: whatever the case is, what's stopping you from going and
- 58:04Speaker 5: doing some windows shopping and trying some stelf on. All
- 58:06Speaker 5: I'm trying to say is, if you want the thing
- 58:09Speaker 5: that you've been hoping for to start showing up around
- 58:12Speaker 5: you or being more aware of it, expose yourself to it.
- 58:16Speaker 5: If you want something that you've never had, get around
- 58:19Speaker 5: something that you've never seen. If you want something to
- 58:22Speaker 5: start popping off in your life and manifesting in your life,
- 58:26Speaker 5: expose yourself to it. Sometimes we wait on somebody else
- 58:29Speaker 5: to open the door to throw the alley, but you
- 58:33Speaker 5: can throw your own self an aalehup, you can open
- 58:35Speaker 5: your own door. Matter of fact, you can create your
- 58:37Speaker 5: own stage. All I'm trying to say is that it's
- 58:40Speaker 5: already around you, it's already in you. It's just waiting
- 58:44Speaker 5: on you to expose yourself to it so you'll start
- 58:47Speaker 5: seeing it everywhere. It's always been there. Matter of fact,
- 58:49Speaker 5: it's there right now. Come on, open up your eyes
- 58:52Speaker 5: to see it. And I believe that that's what happened
- 58:55Speaker 5: to Paul when he was on the road to Damascus.
- 58:57Speaker 5: He had those scale on his eyes that God put there.
- 59:00Speaker 5: But it wasn't until God opened up his eyes twice
- 59:03Speaker 5: where he was able to say, you know what, wait
- 59:06Speaker 5: a minute, I see things in a whole new way.
- 59:09Speaker 5: I believe that that influence that he had was always
- 59:13Speaker 5: in them. He was the last Disciples, one of the
- 59:16Speaker 5: last disciples to come up. He did not have their path.
- 59:18Speaker 5: He was killing Christians. But once he walked up on
- 59:22Speaker 5: the scene, once he entered into this new covenant with God,
- 59:26Speaker 5: he flipped the world upside down. He starts speaking on
- 59:29Speaker 5: behalf of God. He wrote more books than any of
- 59:31Speaker 5: the other disciples. All I'm trying to say, y'all is
- 59:34Speaker 5: it ain't where you start. Any where you start, and
- 59:39Speaker 5: it don't matter who likes it when you start. Come on,
- 59:41Speaker 5: I don't care how congested your spear of influence is.
- 59:45Speaker 5: Once you get a revelation about what's indying what's around you,
- 59:50Speaker 5: you'll start moving like it. Paul didn't care about who
- 59:52Speaker 5: didn't like that. He was on the scene. He changed
- 59:55Speaker 5: the scene. And that's what you're getting ready to do.
- 59:58Speaker 5: Get ready to be spoken to. What's been there all along?
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Well do you have it? Listen? Okay, you're gonna okay,
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: my right, listen.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Listen that that that student of yours, he owned the something,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: He owned something. So we started seeing Rique Holmes Podcast.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I'm just saying, listen, this has been phenomenal and that
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: you gotta we gotta bring you back. We gotta bring
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you back because you can't just leave us on a

- 1:00:43Speaker 1: and we know that the Lord told you know you
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: wouldn't done it. So thank you Lord, Thank you, Lord
