Speaker 1: H close your eyes and take a deep breath in
• 0:29
and then slowly and gently breathe out again. Deep breath in,
• 0:40
and slowly and gently breathe out. One final time, deep
• 0:47
breath in and slowly and gently breathe out. Just bring
• 0:55
your breathing back to its normal rhythm and relax. Let
• 1:00
your body sink into your bed, and just allow yourself
• 1:04
to just relax naturally. Take a few breaths and exhale
• 1:10
slowly as you feel your muscles relaxing and getting softer
• 1:16
as you sink deeper and deeper into your lovely soft bed. Now,
• 1:23
imagine yourself standing on a beautiful beach filled with golden sand,
• 1:29
and the sun is shining and there's not one single
• 1:32
cloud in the sky. The sky is an amazing blue color.
• 1:37
It's so wonderful. Then it looks like it's alive, so
• 1:42
alive that you'd almost reach out and touch it, Almost
• 1:48
so alive that you can feel the vibrations, just almost
• 1:53
feel them. And if you look closely enough, maybe you
• 1:58
can see the shimmering vibrations as they move slowly and
• 2:01
gently through the sky. You turn your attention to the
• 2:07
ocean and see the movement of the waves as they
• 2:11
gently come up to the shore. The sun shines so
• 2:15
brightly on the surface of the water that it looks
• 2:18
like it's glistening with starlight. And as you look at it,
• 2:22
you find yourself feeling so peaceful. It's so calm, and
• 2:28
you imagine what it would feel like to just float
• 2:32
on the water and let the waves gently take you
• 2:36
to wherever you need to be. It's then that you
• 2:42
notice something moving amongst the waves, and you see a
• 2:45
little head just bobbing up and down. You're not sure
• 2:49
what it is at first, but then you realize it's
• 2:52
a turtle, and the little turtle is swimming your way.
• 2:59
The turtle comes out of the ocean and onto the sand,
• 3:03
and he has the most amazing smile on his tiny face.
• 3:07
He looks so happy that you find yourself smiling back
• 3:10
at him. He comes up alongside of you and he
• 3:14
says aloud, and he tells you that his name is Teddy.
• 3:18
He is extremely cute, and he looks ever so cuddly,
• 3:22
and he can stand on his back legs, and he
• 3:26
has little turtle flippers, big brown twinkling eyes, funny little nose,
• 3:33
and the sweetest smile on his tiny face. You say
• 3:38
hello to him and tell him your name, and you
• 3:40
are so very pleased to meet him. Teddy tells you
• 3:45
that he has a little cave he likes to have
• 3:47
a sleepover him sometimes. He tells you that it's just
• 3:51
behind the tropical trees at the edge of the sand.
• 3:56
Teddy asks you if you would like to stay and
• 3:58
play with him today. He asks you if you would
• 4:02
like to have a sleepover in his cave.
• 4:06
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: He tells you that it has all more cons too.
• 4:10
It's not just a cave with no windows and no
• 4:13
proper floor, you know. Oh, no, only the best were Teddy.
• 4:17
His cave has carpets and fluffy rugs to it has
• 4:22
everything he needs to be comfortable and warm, and he
• 4:26
tells you he even has nice candles that make his
• 4:30
cave smell ever so nice. So you tell him that
• 4:36
you would love to spend the day with him and
• 4:38
would love it even more to be able to stay
• 4:41
in his little cave. So the two of you set
• 4:46
off across the sand to Teddy's cave, and just as
• 4:50
you reach the open into Teddy's cave, you notice that
• 4:54
there is a volleyball cord just outside it. Teddy sees
• 4:59
you're looking, and he asks you if you would like
• 5:01
to play a game of volleyball with him. He says
• 5:04
it's his favorite game of all time. Oh yes, please,
• 5:08
  you say.
• 5:10
  Speaker 3: So.
• 5:10
Speaker 1: You both get ready to play, and when you begin,
• 5:14
you wonder, how, how, just how will Teddy be able
• 5:20
to get the ball over the net, because, after all,
• 5:23
Teddy is well, he's a bit small with tiny flippers.
• 5:28
You look over at Teddy and you see and he's
• 5:32
attaching something made of wood to his back legs.
• 5:36
  Speaker 2: It stilts.
• 5:37
Speaker 1: He's fastening stilts to his legs, and when he stands up,
• 5:42
he's now the same height as you.
• 5:44
  Speaker 2: Oh wow.
• 5:49
Speaker 1: Just as Teddy is walking towards you, you both hear
• 5:52
a rustle from the trees, and out pops a very
• 5:55
beautiful gray donkey and a rather large and white ostriche.
• 6:02
Teddy looks delighted and has a very happy smile on
• 6:05
his face. Hello, he says to the two newcomers. Teddy
• 6:13
tells you that they are his very best friends. The
• 6:17
beautiful gray donkey is called Josephine, and she has the
• 6:21
most amazing big blue eyes, which is really very unusual
• 6:28
as donkeys have big brown eyes. And the black and
• 6:32
white Ostriche is called Henrietta and she is very tall.
• 6:38
They both say hello to you and how nice it
• 6:40
is to meet you. They tell Teddy that they have
• 6:44
come to play too, so the four of you begin
• 6:49
your game of volleyball. So for a few moments, just
• 6:54
have fun playing volleyball with Teddy, Josephine and Henrietta and
• 7:00
maybe get to know them better.
• 8:00
Speaker 2: To few, that was a good game.
• 9:14
Speaker 1: Who won. You are all feeling a little bit tired
• 9:20
now and need a rest because you've had a very
• 9:24
exciting and very energetic game. Teddy invites you all into
• 9:30
his cave to have some cold drinks and some cakes
• 9:33
and some sweet Teddy's cave is wonderful. There's a lot
• 9:39
of toys and games to play with.
• 9:44
Speaker 2: It has big soft.
• 9:45
Speaker 1: Bean bags for seats, lots of them, which, by the way,
• 9:49
are very comfortable. Teddy says that he uses his to
• 9:55
sleep on as he doesn't need a bed, and you
• 9:58
think that is a very good idea. As you sink
• 10:01
down into your lovely soft beanbag, the little happy turtle
• 10:06
tells you that when you woke up this morning, you
• 10:10
didn't think what a wonderful day you were going to have.
• 10:14
And you woke up to a beautiful day of life,
• 10:18
a life that wholds adventure and many surprises and new friends.
• 10:26
You think to yourself, how very thankful you are that
• 10:29
you simply woke up and had the opportunity to experience
• 10:32
this wonderful day, and you feel so very blessed. You
• 10:39
also learn things today, A how to play volleyball with
• 10:43
a turtle on stilts. A turtle on stilts.
• 10:48
Speaker 2: Now that was fun.
• 10:52
Speaker 1: Teddy tells you that he is grateful for all life's lessons,
• 10:56
pig and small. He tells you that he learned some
• 11:00
I knew every single day. Then he does a happy
• 11:06
little dance and it makes you feel all the happiness
• 11:10
in your own heart. He tells you that every day
• 11:15
he says thank you out loud. In fact, he says
• 11:19
it lots of times during the day, especially when he
• 11:23
feels happy and grateful for his life. You realize that
• 11:30
you too have many things to be grateful and happy for,
• 11:34
your family, your friends, the animals that you love, the
• 11:41
trees and how they move gently in the breeze. So
• 11:45
many things to be grateful for the big things and
• 11:49
  especially the small things.
• 11:53
Speaker 2: And you're very thankful for this.
• 11:57
Speaker 1: Teddy does another little happy dance and that makes you giggle.
• 12:02
Teddy reminds you that all of these people they love
• 12:06
you just exactly the way you are, and you feel
• 12:12
so good in your heart knowing that you are loved
• 12:16
and cared for very very much. Teddy looks so happy
• 12:22
that you are all here with him, and he's just
• 12:26
loving it. But now it's time for everyone to go
• 12:31
to bed, because what you didn't realize was that while
• 12:36
you were all chatting and drinking your cold drinks and
• 12:39
eating your cakes and your sweets, the sun has set
• 12:43
and it's now dark outside, but not too dark, as
• 12:48
the stars are shining and twinkling very brightly in the
• 12:52
night sky. Josephine and Henrietta have also decided that they
• 12:59
too are going to join in your sleepover with Teddy.
• 13:04
So you all settle down on your big, squashy beanbags,
• 13:09
and you think to yourself that life is so much
• 13:13
better when we take time to be grateful for all
• 13:16
that we have and for all of the wonderful moments
• 13:20
we experience in our lives. He lean back and your
• 13:25
comfy bean bag and close your eyes for just a
• 13:29
little bit, And even though your eyes are closed, you
• 13:35
still smile to yourself, feeling so peaceful and calm.
• 13:40
  Speaker 2: So relaxed.
• 13:43
Speaker 1: And as you sink deeper and deeper into your comfy
• 13:47
bean bag, you say good night to Teddy and to
• 13:52
Josephine and to Henrietta, your new friends. You take a
• 13:58
deep sigh, relaxing even further, sinking down and down, sinking
• 14:08
down and down into blissful sleep, feeling so very happy.
• 14:16
And you take a breath and you say it back out,
• 14:21
going deeper and deeper into sleep. And your eyes feel
• 14:27
so heavy now, so relaxed, so peaceful and calm, but
• 14:35
you feel so very very happy, just like Teddy the
• 14:42
happy Turtle. To sleep now and just rest.
