Hot new 1st base defensive metric explained + Alec Burleson joins FT
Which first baseman is best at receiving throws? Hint: you'll be hearing from him very soon...
(12:08) Turns out the hint wasn't subtle…it's Alec Burleson. He joins FT to explain why he's the best in the league at receiving throws, how he keeps sharpening that skill at first base, and what conversations actually sound like when a guy reaches the bag mid-game.
He also gets into the current state of the Cardinals, what's different about this young core, and why St. Louis means so much to him.
Hosts: Katie Woo, Josh Reddick, Erik Kratz
