- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to the favorites live on YouTube presented by draft Kings.
- 0:14Speaker 1: The crown is yours. I'm your host, Brandon Kravitz joined
- 0:17Speaker 1: by the first lady, Kendra Middleton week five, almost a
- 0:21Speaker 1: wrap this week was messy. It was disgusting, poorly coached.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We'll get to all of that receipts. Cash, crash, clutch.
- 0:30Speaker 1: A word from the Oracle, Evan Abrams, who's been hard
- 0:33Speaker 1: at work for us, trying to discover some items of
- 0:36Speaker 1: interest for Kendra and I. And we've got a Monday
- 0:38Speaker 1: Night Football SGP to get to as well. What a
- 0:42Speaker 1: sweat in London. Too much stress to start the day yesterday.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I don't think I was talking to the guys before
- 0:49Speaker 2: you hopped on. And I don't think that I have
- 0:51Speaker 2: ever been so pissed off early in the morning, especially
- 0:53Speaker 2: because I had to get up at.
- 0:55Speaker 3: 530 to be at work at seven.
- 0:57Speaker 2: And so I was like halfway like through my work day.
- 1:01Speaker 3: When all of this was going on. I'm watching this
- 1:03Speaker 3: at work.
- 1:04Speaker 2: One of the co-workers at my co-workers at F1 is
- 1:06Speaker 2: watching me watch this game. And he goes, it's so
- 1:09Speaker 2: as I'm working in a sports venue, by the way,
- 1:11Speaker 2: looks at me and verbatim says, it's so strange watching
- 1:14Speaker 2: women care about sports. After that whole opening sequence had
- 1:18Speaker 2: just gone down, I was like, I need to go home.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I can't. And then it just got worse from there.
- 1:23Speaker 3: And I got more mad.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I really just don't understand so many things that happened
- 1:31Speaker 2: from this game. Can someone here, Evan Abrams, you, anyone
- 1:35Speaker 2: explain to me how that was not a safety? Or
- 1:38Speaker 2: why that was an ejection when he's just kicking a
- 1:41Speaker 2: grown man off of him. Why we had no replays
- 1:43Speaker 2: for any of the penalties. There would be a penalty
- 1:45Speaker 2: flag thrown. They'd show the graphic and then they'd go
- 1:47Speaker 2: to commercial. You just you can't operate that way. On
- 1:50Speaker 2: top of that, I'm going to get to the broadcast
- 1:52Speaker 2: later because it's going to receive one of.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Our rewards from me. But just what a dumpster fire.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I just ball. Don't lie. Ball. Do not lie.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I mean, the Eagles probably should have won that game,
- 2:05Speaker 1: but we have seen Nick Sirianni screw the pooch multiple occasions.
- 2:08Speaker 1: In fact, back-to-back weeks now, he has cost his team
- 2:11Speaker 1: with some coaching blunders, so he will be in our crash,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I am sure of it. It was the first weekend.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Makes our bet look better. We talked about it last week.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I think him wasn't the right decision.
- 2:27Speaker 1: No, it wasn't the right decision. Of course it wasn't
- 2:29Speaker 1: the right decision. The Jags have no timeouts. So you
- 2:33Speaker 1: give them the ball with an opportunity to, they essentially
- 2:36Speaker 1: have one play that they can run because you can't,
- 2:39Speaker 1: if they were to complete a 25 yard pass, they can't,
- 2:44Speaker 1: they don't have time to clock it. So you have to,
- 2:48Speaker 1: you have to put yourself in a position where they're
- 2:51Speaker 1: running a play and the next play is in a
- 2:54Speaker 1: field goal. And really the only way that happens is
- 2:57Speaker 1: if you let them return the kick. Now it's onto
- 3:00Speaker 1: the kick coverage team to make a tackle. which they
- 3:03Speaker 1: didn't do, but credit to the Jags when their guys,
- 3:06Speaker 1: everybody I've seen the play now, a hundred times, the
- 3:10Speaker 1: Jags return team blocked to perfection. But yeah, that was,
- 3:16Speaker 1: that was very, very poorly managed by Nick Sirianni. No doubt.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it was probably the wrong decision just
- 3:24Speaker 2: because you'd seen Josh Cameron return one earlier that was
- 3:27Speaker 2: recalled and you know what the Jags are capable of
- 3:29Speaker 2: doing on special teams. And shout out Amir Abdullah. The
- 3:33Speaker 2: fact that there was once it was just like the craziest,
- 3:36Speaker 2: I think, random series. Yesterday was a weird day of football.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yesterday was a weird day of football. It really felt Halloween.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's what I mean. I open saying it was messy
- 3:47Speaker 1: and disgusting. That's how it felt all the way.
- 3:50Speaker 3: But I loved it.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Other than how I genuinely you guys know me like
- 3:54Speaker 2: I get like frustrated with things. But in all seriousness,
- 3:58Speaker 2: it takes a lot for me to get angry. Like
- 4:00Speaker 2: if I am legitimately angry with you, like, you know
- 4:04Speaker 2: that you messed up because I get frustrated, but I don't.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Get pissed off.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I was.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Pissed off standing on my couch yesterday, just my hands
- 4:12Speaker 2: on my head, just screaming at my TV.
- 4:15Speaker 3: And I don't yell. I am not. I don't get loud.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I'm not a screamer. I am not one of those people.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I just genuinely don't think in my 30 years of
- 4:22Speaker 2: being a Jaguars fan, I have ever been that mad
- 4:25Speaker 2: watching a team and I've had them get.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Back to back fucking. first overall draft picks in my lifetime.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Like I've never been that mad.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Well, it's amazing what expectations will do. You know, I'm
- 4:36Speaker 1: a dolphins fan. You're not going to see me get
- 4:38Speaker 1: angry this year because the team stinks. You've gone through
- 4:40Speaker 1: many years of the Jacksonville Jaguars having no expectations whatsoever.
- 4:45Speaker 1: This is the most you've expected from this team in
- 4:49Speaker 1: your lifetime. This is the best this team has been
- 4:51Speaker 1: since the mid nineties. And that was before, uh, you
- 4:56Speaker 1: had any sort of, uh, idea of what you were watching.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And I don't even know if you're alive yet trying
- 5:02Speaker 1: to think of the math on 96. When were you,
- 5:06Speaker 1: when were you born? 96, 96.
- 5:07Speaker 3: There you go.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Um, I will say for me, uh, on a personal note,
- 5:14Speaker 1: first weekend with fully healed loins and no one in
- 5:16Speaker 1: my house was sick. So pretty chill weekend for all
- 5:19Speaker 1: of us, but my Jackson gave me a bit of
- 5:21Speaker 1: a scare because Um, he was thrown up all over
- 5:25Speaker 1: the house, had to take him to the vet late
- 5:27Speaker 1: on Friday because I thought something was going on, got
- 5:30Speaker 1: the x-rays. They said there's something in there. I wasn't
- 5:34Speaker 1: sure he's 14 years old and I've already paid a
- 5:38Speaker 1: lot of money for surgery because this idiot already ate
- 5:41Speaker 1: a seed in our backyard a year ago. And so
- 5:45Speaker 1: I was really going through it. And then I was like,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I'm just going to see if he passes, whatever. I'm
- 5:51Speaker 1: not going to get into the details, people. Don't worry.
- 5:53Speaker 1: But all is good. This is the bionic dog. I
- 5:57Speaker 1: don't know what happened, but he's fine.
- 5:59Speaker 3: It's It's Australian shepherds. They are made of steel.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Like seriously, truly like the things that this dog has
- 6:05Speaker 2: done and lived through.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I am just like, I don't understand.
- 6:08Speaker 2: But I think the other thing that you shouldn't feel
- 6:10Speaker 2: bad about, I don't know if you do.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I love this dog. He is my life. I would
- 6:14Speaker 3: literally take a bullet for him.
- 6:16Speaker 2: But once they get to a certain age, like you
- 6:18Speaker 2: honestly have to have a price tag on their head.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I really don't blame you. I like this dog is
- 6:22Speaker 3: literally my entire life. I am a single childless woman.
- 6:26Speaker 2: My pets are everything to me, but if he were 14,
- 6:28Speaker 2: I would just be like, you know what?
- 6:29Speaker 3: Dipshit. Like it's kind of on you.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Okay. I'm really glad that you said that. I'm not
- 6:33Speaker 1: going to, I'm not going to go into the conversation
- 6:35Speaker 1: that I had with the vet because there's dog people
- 6:38Speaker 1: out there that are insane and I don't need them
- 6:41Speaker 1: coming for my neck, but you wouldn't have liked it.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Let me just say that you would not have appreciated
- 6:45Speaker 1: the conversation I had this weekend, but all is good.
- 6:48Speaker 1: A quick checkup on the draft Kings contest three and
- 6:51Speaker 1: two this week. Not bad. We definitely left some meat
- 6:55Speaker 1: on the bone. I was zero help to our efforts
- 6:58Speaker 1: this week. I mean, it is like we are trading
- 7:00Speaker 1: the dunce cap back and forth every week.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I went to check on you last night and I
- 7:06Speaker 2: looked at your day and I was just disgusted for you.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I felt for you. I really did.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I'm surprised that I'm here talking to you. I lost
- 7:15Speaker 1: as much money betting the NFL as I did at
- 7:18Speaker 1: the vet office. It was a very similar bill. that
- 7:21Speaker 1: came due.
- 7:22Speaker 2: So it was, uh, you know, are we going to get,
- 7:25Speaker 2: I think that we're probably going to get to this
- 7:26Speaker 2: at some point, but I think we need to have
- 7:27Speaker 2: our psychic back on.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So, um, should I read the, uh, should I read
- 7:33Speaker 1: the message that I got on Tik TOK? This is
- 7:36Speaker 1: someone that commented.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I think that she could fix us both right now.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I need you and Kendra to get Jim Jules back
- 7:43Speaker 1: on ASAP to follow up on that tarot card reading
- 7:46Speaker 1: from July. Herbert is looking exactly the way that she read,
- 7:50Speaker 1: if not worse. I need it for my sanity. I
- 7:53Speaker 1: need to know if the cards foresee any change coming
- 7:57Speaker 1: with the LA Chargers, please and thank you. So thank
- 8:00Speaker 1: you for the comment.
- 8:01Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean, yeah, I think we need to
- 8:04Speaker 3: have her back on. Yeah, especially because like we had
- 8:07Speaker 3: like this idea of like a water team or whatever.
- 8:09Speaker 2: What if she meant like instead of ocean, she meant
- 8:12Speaker 2: sea as in Seahawks.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Or something like that. Like the 49ers are by the oceans.
- 8:17Speaker 3: We have the Seahawks. It's clearly not the Dolphins, but
- 8:20Speaker 3: they were the only water team we could think of.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I think she was cooking. We need to go back
- 8:23Speaker 3: and listen to that episode.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I don't know if you've noticed the Super Bowl commercials
- 8:28Speaker 1: that they've been showing on ESPN. show a wave crashing
- 8:33Speaker 1: into the logo. So maybe she was just seeing the logo.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Maybe. I don't know. I think we need to have
- 8:40Speaker 3: her back. But anyways, back to our DraftKings contest. And
- 8:43Speaker 3: you kind of.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I sucked. You guys did great. But this is sort of...
- 8:49Speaker 1: This is good. I mean, I had a terrible weekend betting.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I lost a lot of money. But as long as
- 8:54Speaker 1: we are delivering on the picks that we are giving
- 8:57Speaker 1: out on this podcast, all is right. And thanks to
- 9:01Speaker 1: Kendra and Emerson, we were able to deliver on that.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Well, so let's go through these games really quick. The
- 9:05Speaker 2: Bucs and the Cowboys. It truly just is Cowboys incompetence.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I mean, there's there's no other way to.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Chalk this up.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I know that that probably is making our producer Gifford mad,
- 9:17Speaker 2: but the Cowboys just continue to Cowboy. And there's really
- 9:20Speaker 2: no other way to put it unless you have any
- 9:21Speaker 2: other commentary on that. The Giants, speaking of like a
- 9:25Speaker 2: weird weekend.
- 9:26Speaker 1: A lot more to say on that.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Oh, on the Bucs.
- 9:28Speaker 1: No, no, no. On the Giants.
- 9:30Speaker 3: The Giants, like talking about a weird weekend.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I had this later in our notes, but I have
- 9:35Speaker 2: 10 other things that I can fill for the superlative
- 9:37Speaker 2: I was going to fill it in with. Let's talk
- 9:40Speaker 2: about the NFC East, actually, for a second, since we're talking.
- 9:42Speaker 3: About all of this.
- 9:43Speaker 2: The fact that all of the NFC East went 0-4
- 9:47Speaker 2: yesterday and two of these teams were playing each other.
- 9:50Speaker 2: The Eagles got really lucky that the commanders messed up
- 9:53Speaker 2: so bad because it is taking all of the heat
- 9:55Speaker 2: that would have been on Nick Sirianni and this team
- 9:58Speaker 2: and putting it now on the commanders. And I have
- 10:01Speaker 2: to be honest, I watched Dan Quinn's press conference and
- 10:03Speaker 2: I watched Jaden Daniels press conference. And I'm really not
- 10:06Speaker 2: sure who to blame in this scenario for not knowing
- 10:10Speaker 2: how many timeouts they.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Had truly to me. It sounds like it was.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Jaden Daniels and Dan Quinn was just kind of falling
- 10:16Speaker 2: on the sword for it. But Jaden seemed really frustrated
- 10:19Speaker 2: in his press conference as well. I'm not sure if
- 10:21Speaker 2: you watched this, but he was just like, oh, it
- 10:22Speaker 2: starts from the top.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I got to be better.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Blah, blah, blah.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Dan Quinn throwing his headset like that to me makes
- 10:28Speaker 2: it seem like this was on Jaden.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Absolutely was. And I was going to ask you that
- 10:34Speaker 1: exact question today of who this was on more. The
- 10:36Speaker 1: Giants right now sitting at three, one and one in
- 10:39Speaker 1: the NFC East. The Eagles are right behind them at
- 10:42Speaker 1: two and three. The Cowboys are two and three. It's
- 10:45Speaker 1: only week five. So no matter how this was going
- 10:47Speaker 1: to go, none of these teams were dead and none
- 10:49Speaker 1: of these teams had secured the division. But this was
- 10:52Speaker 1: a week where divide could have occurred and it didn't.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And or the commanders could have stayed in the mix
- 10:59Speaker 1: a little bit more than what they are right now.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And it seemed like everybody was just playing hot potato
- 11:06Speaker 1: with opportunities. So the way that I look at this
- 11:09Speaker 1: at the end of this game, The commanders get the
- 11:12Speaker 1: ball back. There's a minute 52 on the clock. They
- 11:14Speaker 1: get to midfield with a minute remaining. Rashad white goes
- 11:18Speaker 1: up the gut. They're at about the 25 yard line.
- 11:21Speaker 1: There's 50 seconds on the clock. At that point, it
- 11:25Speaker 1: is on the quarterback to know what he needs to
- 11:28Speaker 1: do to put his team in position to succeed. Yes.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Dan Quinn deserves blame. Yes. David Blau, the offensive coordinator
- 11:36Speaker 1: deserves some blame, but Jaden Daniels is taking his jolly
- 11:40Speaker 1: old time. He snaps the ball with 12 seconds on
- 11:43Speaker 1: the clock and then runs into the middle of the
- 11:46Speaker 1: giants defense. That's not Dan Quinn doing that. That's not
- 11:49Speaker 1: the OC doing that. Clock runs out game over that
- 11:53Speaker 1: is on the quarterback to make that decision that is
- 11:56Speaker 1: on the player. I mean, it looked to me like
- 11:59Speaker 1: his intention was to throw the ball, to get a
- 12:02Speaker 1: little bit closer, throw towards the sidelines, throw it out
- 12:05Speaker 1: of bounds, do anything except what you did. That's on
- 12:08Speaker 1: Jaden Daniels more than anybody else. But this is where
- 12:11Speaker 1: I worry about that Nick Sirianni bet that we had
- 12:13Speaker 1: first coach to be fired because he was in the
- 12:16Speaker 1: front of the line by the end of the London game.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And then at the end of the one o'clock games,
- 12:20Speaker 1: Dan Quinn just said up, excuse me. And then because
- 12:24Speaker 1: he is going to be the one that ultimately takes
- 12:26Speaker 1: the fall for this. But I blame Jaden Daniels.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, see, I don't know about that.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Just because Nick Sirianni's decision was his decision and his
- 12:33Speaker 2: decision alone, whereas with the commanders, there is some blame
- 12:37Speaker 2: for Jaden Daniels and the offensive coordinator. That's the only
- 12:39Speaker 2: reason that I still kind of stand where I do
- 12:42Speaker 2: about the sirianni bet but this division and its standings
- 12:46Speaker 2: right now the giants don't have their starting quarterback obviously
- 12:50Speaker 2: like no duh they're sitting at three and one top
- 12:52Speaker 2: of the division the eagles are two and three cowboys
- 12:54Speaker 2: also two and three this division still feels pretty wide
- 12:57Speaker 2: open like i don't expect the giants with jamis winston
- 13:00Speaker 2: to be able to win this division but if i'm
- 13:02Speaker 2: a cowboys fan and i'm looking at all the eagles
- 13:04Speaker 2: injuries right now i'm probably feeling pretty okay despite how
- 13:08Speaker 2: incompetent they are as a team at times Yes, I.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Think the Cowboys right now. In fact, let's see what
- 13:14Speaker 1: the I don't know if you've taken a look at
- 13:17Speaker 1: the division odds recently. Who do you think is the
- 13:19Speaker 1: favorite to win this messy division right now?
- 13:22Speaker 3: I would assume the Eagles.
- 13:24Speaker 1: It is the Eagles slightly plus 170. The Cowboys at
- 13:28Speaker 1: plus 180 and the Giants who are in pole position
- 13:31Speaker 1: right now at plus 320. That a bet anybody's trying
- 13:34Speaker 1: to make right now.
- 13:35Speaker 3: No, truly.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I just you know, the meme of like the two
- 13:39Speaker 2: girls and it's like they're having a mid off.
- 13:40Speaker 3: That's how I feel about this entire division. Just absurd.
- 13:44Speaker 1: All right. Anyway, well, here's the good thing is that
- 13:47Speaker 1: no matter how this weird game finished between the Giants
- 13:50Speaker 1: and the commanders, we were going to cover this in
- 13:51Speaker 1: the contest because we had the Giants plus three and
- 13:54Speaker 1: a half. So even if the commanders knew how to
- 13:56Speaker 1: operate a clock and they made the field goal, it
- 14:00Speaker 1: still would have been a cover.
- 14:01Speaker 2: The Lions helps my Giants helps my Giants future. I mean,
- 14:05Speaker 2: they didn't lose.
- 14:06Speaker 3: They didn't lose. That's all. I'll take it. They did
- 14:08Speaker 3: not lose.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I have them under seven and a half wins. That
- 14:11Speaker 1: is getting precarious. Not because of the tie. That actually
- 14:15Speaker 1: helps me. But still, three wins already. Not good. Lions
- 14:19Speaker 1: cover in a blowout against Arizona. I was all ready
- 14:22Speaker 1: to be on the other side. I didn't end up
- 14:24Speaker 1: betting the Cardinals. Thank God. they scored the opening touchdown.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And I had that thought we've all done this where
- 14:30Speaker 1: I go, I've been wanting all week. I wanted to
- 14:32Speaker 1: be on the Cardinals, but I was waiting for that
- 14:34Speaker 1: six to show up. It never did. Thank goodness, because
- 14:37Speaker 1: I would have bet them and I didn't. And I'm
- 14:40Speaker 1: watching them go down. They score with ease to open
- 14:42Speaker 1: the game. And I'm thinking you fool don't second guess yourself.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And then it was all lions from there. Their defense
- 14:50Speaker 1: has been horrible this year. They've given up nearly 32
- 14:53Speaker 1: points per game. They allowed a touchdown on the opening drive,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and they turned the water off after that. So credit
- 14:59Speaker 1: to you guys. Thank you for putting the Lions in
- 15:01Speaker 1: the contest and giving us a win.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I'm not sure that I've ever watched a game where
- 15:06Speaker 2: a team absolutely blew out an inferior opponent and did
- 15:10Speaker 2: not leave the game feeling any better about the team.
- 15:14Speaker 3: And that's how I feel about the Lions.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I watched them just belt to ass the Arizona Cardinals yesterday.
- 15:19Speaker 3: And after the game, I was like, hmm. I still
- 15:21Speaker 3: think that they might suck.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I'm a little bit worried about my future right now,
- 15:25Speaker 2: especially after the Packers kind of got back on track
- 15:27Speaker 2: yesterday as well. But I just I don't that doesn't
- 15:29Speaker 2: happen for me often. But I think that the other
- 15:31Speaker 2: thing that we need to touch on here before we
- 15:33Speaker 2: move on to our last two games, Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Do we think that he's going to play for Houston
- 15:39Speaker 2: this week? And now he's being reunited with C.J.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Stroud. I mean, I think that it was an absolute overpay.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I mean, do I think also that him reuniting with
- 15:48Speaker 2: his college quarterback and the familiarity and the chemistry that
- 15:51Speaker 2: they have will probably really help Houston right now? Yes,
- 15:55Speaker 2: but it feels like an overpay for something that is uncertain.
- 15:59Speaker 1: So I think that was the biggest part of the deal.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I don't have it in front of me. It was
- 16:04Speaker 1: a second round pick. A year from now?
- 16:08Speaker 2: No, I think the second round is 2027, and then
- 16:10Speaker 2: they have a later pick the following year, if I'm
- 16:13Speaker 2: not mistaken.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm surprised that he fetched a second round pick with
- 16:17Speaker 1: how unproductive he's been. I'm surprised that he went.
- 16:21Speaker 3: I mean, he was what, the fourth overall pick?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's done nothing.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I agree.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I mean, absolutely nothing.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I agree.
- 16:28Speaker 1: But I also think Houston was Houston was the perfect
- 16:31Speaker 1: team to get him though. When I saw D'Amico Ryan's
- 16:33Speaker 1: with the walk-off, Hey, by the way, we traded for
- 16:35Speaker 1: Marvin Harrison, Jr. Baller move to do that. Drop that
- 16:38Speaker 1: nugget at the end of the press conference.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Perfect team, by the way.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Fascinating game next week in London with the
- 16:48Speaker 1: Texans and the Jags. I'm guessing that Marvin Harrison, Jr.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Doesn't play, but I'm not sure.
- 16:53Speaker 3: If he does, are we going to be on in
- 16:54Speaker 3: front anytime?
- 16:57Speaker 1: I got to see what the connection looks like. I'm
- 16:59Speaker 1: not in a rush to bet on Marvin.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I kind of might be.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I hate to say I this feels like a trap
- 17:04Speaker 2: game for Jacksonville next week coming off of an emotional win.
- 17:07Speaker 3: I think I very much am worried about that game.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I very much if I was feeling more confident in
- 17:15Speaker 1: the moment, I would already be on the Houston Texans
- 17:17Speaker 1: next week. I think the The Jags being parked over
- 17:21Speaker 1: in London is now being over indexed into the spread.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I think this should be one and a half. It's
- 17:26Speaker 1: sitting at two and a half. You're getting two and
- 17:28Speaker 1: a half, even money on the Houston Texans. It feels
- 17:31Speaker 1: like really good value. I just took an ass kicking yesterday,
- 17:34Speaker 1: so I need to be a little more patient. And
- 17:36Speaker 1: the last thing I want to do, we were texting
- 17:38Speaker 1: about this with John Yastrzemski. There's no worse feeling than
- 17:42Speaker 1: starting the day. You're not even to the one o'clock
- 17:44Speaker 1: set and you already have an L on the ledger.
- 17:46Speaker 1: That's just not a world I like living in.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I will say I fucking hate.
- 17:52Speaker 2: The London games more than anything. If there is something
- 17:55Speaker 2: people know about me, I hate the international games, but
- 17:58Speaker 2: it is really nice when the Jags went in the
- 18:00Speaker 2: early window and then I can just exist the rest
- 18:03Speaker 2: of the day. I sewed a pair of pants yesterday
- 18:06Speaker 2: while watching football and a sweatshirt.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You sew?
- 18:11Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 18:11Speaker 1: That's impressive. Is that a hobby or is that like
- 18:14Speaker 1: a skill? Where would you file? What would you file?
- 18:16Speaker 3: It's definitely not a skill. I'll tell you that. At
- 18:19Speaker 3: least for me, for other people, for sure. For me, no.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Somebody quick aside, somebody texted into the afternoon show I
- 18:26Speaker 1: do in Orlando and they, they asked, um, what are
- 18:29Speaker 1: my hobbies outside of sports? And I was so stumped.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I had no answer. And I, so this weekend on
- 18:37Speaker 1: Saturday during the college football games, I was researching what,
- 18:41Speaker 1: what can a near middle-aged man do as a hobby?
- 18:44Speaker 1: This is what, so I'm trying to figure out, I'm
- 18:46Speaker 1: trying to find something that Because for me, it's just
- 18:49Speaker 1: family time and sports and this. This is it. That's
- 18:53Speaker 1: my whole life. And I'm not complaining. It's a great life.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But I lack some depth. I think I need to
- 18:58Speaker 1: add some depth to my life.
- 19:00Speaker 2: They say whatever your hobbies were when you were, like,
- 19:03Speaker 2: 10 to 12 years old are what you should pick
- 19:06Speaker 2: up later in life because those are the things that
- 19:08Speaker 2: you enjoy, which is true because I love to, like,
- 19:10Speaker 2: sew and stitch and, like, all that kind of stuff
- 19:12Speaker 2: when I was a kid. And now, like, I'm picking
- 19:14Speaker 2: it back up again. And it's been great.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Okay. I might get into space. We'll see. Um, Seattle
- 19:20Speaker 1: falls short in the end, seven total turnovers in that game.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Both teams made big plays. The 49ers made more of them.
- 19:27Speaker 1: JSN drops a pass that would have at least lined
- 19:30Speaker 1: the Seahawks up for game tying field goal all for
- 19:33Speaker 1: not 49ers. When they advanced to five and Oh, that
- 19:37Speaker 1: was one of my favorite plays of the weekend was
- 19:39Speaker 1: Seattle minus the two and a half. And that went
- 19:42Speaker 1: in the gutter Falcons Sunday night. I mean, come on.
- 19:46Speaker 1: we got, to it. I mean, what else? How else
- 19:49Speaker 1: can I explain this? Tua came in. This was not
- 19:52Speaker 1: part of the equation for us.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I really liked the Seattle thing.
- 19:56Speaker 2: It wasn't something that I wound up getting to the
- 19:58Speaker 2: window on.
- 19:58Speaker 3: But how just.
- 20:01Speaker 2: uncharacteristic for both teams with a number of turnovers. But
- 20:05Speaker 2: if you love defensive football, that was the game for you.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That was the game of the week. I really, I
- 20:09Speaker 2: had it.
- 20:10Speaker 3: I had that game on solo and then everything else
- 20:12Speaker 3: on red zone. And it just, that was.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Talk about once again, a weird weekend of football. I,
- 20:18Speaker 2: that was just not on my radar. And had it
- 20:19Speaker 2: been like a normal game, I probably think that it
- 20:22Speaker 2: would have been Seattle, but shout out to the 49ers,
- 20:25Speaker 2: all of their injuries that continued to pile up yesterday.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Also, you know what? Shout out Mike Evans.
- 20:29Speaker 2: That man is old as hell and his receding hairline
- 20:31Speaker 2: is crazy and he has two broken ribs and he's
- 20:34Speaker 2: out there, you know, yelling it, having Trayvon Diggs turn
- 20:38Speaker 2: around because he doesn't know whose jersey it is. And
- 20:41Speaker 2: just what a beast performance from him yesterday.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh. Just absolutely mushroom stamped that defense yesterday.
- 20:47Speaker 3: It was awesome. I loved it. The Falcons.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I have a confession because once again, I know that
- 20:52Speaker 2: this is going on the Internet, but I consider it
- 20:54Speaker 2: to be a safe space.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I fell asleep at the start of the.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Fourth quarter on my couch, woke up drooling as overtime
- 21:02Speaker 2: started and got to watch that whole.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Thing play out.
- 21:06Speaker 2: The second Kyle Hamilton secured that interception, I went click
- 21:09Speaker 2: and rolled over and went to sleep on my couch.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I'm in a couch sleeping phase. I don't know what
- 21:13Speaker 3: it is. I am trying to.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Sleep on my back more. And I think that my
- 21:16Speaker 2: couch forces me to sleep on my back. And that's
- 21:18Speaker 2: why I'm kind of back in the couch phase.
- 21:20Speaker 3: But Chua, what a disaster. You, the second.
- 21:25Speaker 2: He was coming into the game. I feel like if
- 21:27Speaker 2: I was in the same room as Brandon Kravitz, you
- 21:29Speaker 2: just had to go.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Are you kidding me?
- 21:32Speaker 1: I did the exact same thing. I mean, to a T,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I slept on the couch last night as well. If
- 21:37Speaker 1: I'm going to stay up late, I leave the bedroom
- 21:40Speaker 1: for my wife because I don't want to keep her up.
- 21:42Speaker 1: And with these late games, I mean, these games, especially
- 21:45Speaker 1: the ones go to overtime, they're not ending until close
- 21:47Speaker 1: to midnight on the East Coast. So burning the midnight oil,
- 21:51Speaker 1: same exact move. I mean, it was pick, click. sleep
- 21:55Speaker 1: i think i was asleep within 45 seconds after that
- 21:58Speaker 1: interception absolutely disgusting this is sort of the the bed
- 22:02Speaker 1: we made for ourselves trying to nab an easy win
- 22:05Speaker 1: with the falcons i was so desperate to add this
- 22:09Speaker 1: to the mix thinking it would be a layup and
- 22:11Speaker 1: of course nothing in this life.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Is and i just went belly up for it i
- 22:15Speaker 2: let you have it yeah yeah well that's the receipt
- 22:18Speaker 2: that i kept.
- 22:21Speaker 1: You got to prove it to me.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I got to see evidence. I'll show you the receipts.
- 22:25Speaker 3: You don't believe me?
- 22:26Speaker 1: I have the receipt for it right here! Mine is
- 22:30Speaker 1: for what you should be doing. The receipt that I have,
- 22:33Speaker 1: because I've got them. You were the one who said
- 22:37Speaker 1: we need to start betting two touchdown games for these
- 22:41Speaker 1: stars in the NFL. And did you?
- 22:43Speaker 4: No.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Parker Washington, Jameer Gibbs, Jaden Daniels, Christian Watson, Isaiah.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I literally texted you that I was a coward. I
- 22:52Speaker 3: already admitted it in our group chat. I know it.
- 22:55Speaker 2: After Parker scored, I literally called myself a coward because
- 22:58Speaker 2: I texted you guys saying that I should get on
- 23:00Speaker 2: his second.
- 23:01Speaker 3: And I didn't. And Evan Abrams, we're going to speak
- 23:04Speaker 3: to him in a minute.
- 23:05Speaker 2: But he confirmed that my lean, that we are having
- 23:07Speaker 2: a crazy two.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Touchdown season with is true.
- 23:11Speaker 2: So we might need to start thinking about getting in
- 23:14Speaker 2: on this. I don't know if it's already too late.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Do we think we've lost value on it? Probably because
- 23:18Speaker 2: we've already realized that it's happening.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Usually that's the way that it works, but you know,
- 23:23Speaker 1: we try and stay ahead of the curve a little
- 23:25Speaker 1: bit and maybe we've got some meat left on the bone.
- 23:27Speaker 1: By the time we get to Thanksgiving, this will definitely
- 23:30Speaker 1: be dead in the water. But I think we can
- 23:32Speaker 1: pick our spots. The tough thing is, is that this
- 23:36Speaker 1: is a wide ocean of star players and we've got
- 23:38Speaker 1: to make sure that we are targeting them properly so
- 23:42Speaker 1: it's uh something to add to the thursday show it's.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Got to be a live bet i think.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Uh i don't really have anything else for you it's
- 23:50Speaker 1: hard to deliver receipts when my bets hit like a
- 23:53Speaker 1: blind man swinging a pinata this weekend um i have.
- 23:56Speaker 2: A receipt on myself okay i like truly cannot bet
- 24:00Speaker 2: on or against the patriots for the rest of the
- 24:03Speaker 2: season It's done.
- 24:04Speaker 3: It's over. I can't do it anymore. I've learned my lesson.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Literally, if I say that I want to put the
- 24:10Speaker 2: Patriots anywhere, I give you guys full permission to like
- 24:14Speaker 2: put me in handcuffs or waterboard me.
- 24:16Speaker 1: You are too close to the fire.
- 24:18Speaker 3: I am.
- 24:19Speaker 1: It happens. I get it. I've been there.
- 24:21Speaker 3: What a day for Drake yesterday. Good for him.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Huge, huge bounce back for him. And the Patriots get
- 24:27Speaker 1: the Jets who are covering spreads left and right. So
- 24:29Speaker 1: picking that game, the Patriots open as seven point favorites.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Very tough.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Which is crazy because Will Campbell went down yesterday and
- 24:36Speaker 2: so did Travion Henderson, and they're already dealing with all
- 24:38Speaker 2: the other slew of injuries.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I get that it's the Jets, but once again, I
- 24:44Speaker 3: would be on the Jets. So I'm not, this is not,
- 24:47Speaker 3: I can't, no.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It's one of those weird things where the Patriots injuries,
- 24:52Speaker 1: they've been better since they've been banged up. And that's,
- 24:56Speaker 1: it's really hard to gauge that when you go, I
- 24:58Speaker 1: should fade this team because they're injured, but they're actually 49ers.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Same thing.
- 25:02Speaker 1: There you go. Middleton, what is your one big takeaway
- 25:06Speaker 1: this weekend?
- 25:07Speaker 3: Um, I have two, the referees are ruining the sport.
- 25:11Speaker 3: It's making it unwatchable.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I think that I mentioned this last week and it
- 25:15Speaker 2: wasn't just the Jags game for me.
- 25:16Speaker 3: It was across the board. I am already five weeks
- 25:20Speaker 3: into this.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Season, sick and tired of watching an explosive play or
- 25:23Speaker 2: a touchdown happen and looking for a flag immediately after
- 25:27Speaker 2: everything all the time, panicking about flags, just feeling like
- 25:30Speaker 2: there's going to be something on every single exciting play
- 25:33Speaker 2: that happens and And it's truly ruining my enjoyment of.
- 25:37Speaker 3: The consumption of football. It is insufferable.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I really actually am curious if there are more flags
- 25:45Speaker 2: being thrown through this point in the season than ever
- 25:47Speaker 2: before as well, because it truly feels that way. I
- 25:49Speaker 2: think after every single play, whether I'm watching a game
- 25:52Speaker 2: in its entirety or watching Red Zone, I'm just waiting
- 25:55Speaker 2: for a flag all the time.
- 25:57Speaker 3: And then, oh, go ahead.
- 25:58Speaker 1: No, I was going to say, I'm going to try
- 26:01Speaker 1: and dig it back up because what you just said
- 26:03Speaker 1: about the flags, there have been people that have tracked this.
- 26:06Speaker 1: And as of last week, what you are saying is
- 26:10Speaker 1: absolutely true that we've seen more flags than usual. And
- 26:14Speaker 1: I thought that maybe once that became public information that
- 26:18Speaker 1: the league would take notice of it and have the
- 26:20Speaker 1: refs dial it back. But I agree with you. It
- 26:22Speaker 1: felt like more of the same this weekend. I usually
- 26:26Speaker 1: don't go off of like the, Like the gut feeling
- 26:29Speaker 1: that you have where you're like, it feels like there's
- 26:30Speaker 1: more two touchdown games. It turns out there are. I
- 26:32Speaker 1: try not to do that because my gut with those
- 26:34Speaker 1: things is typically dead wrong. But it's true. It feels
- 26:38Speaker 1: like there's more and there are more. So continue on.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm going to see if I can dig back up
- 26:43Speaker 1: the statistic that I found about flags.
- 26:46Speaker 2: And then the other thing that I have a big
- 26:48Speaker 2: takeaway about this weekend, not that my Gino Smith prop
- 26:51Speaker 2: probably would have hit. I think I would have been
- 26:53Speaker 2: a yard short regardless, but taking the quarterback, taking a
- 26:56Speaker 2: knee and accounting as negative rushing yards blows.
- 26:59Speaker 3: We've got to fix that.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Like you should not be punished as a better because
- 27:03Speaker 2: you're like the quarterback that you bet on rushing yards
- 27:05Speaker 2: wise is taking a knee or victory formation or whatever.
- 27:09Speaker 3: That sucks. That sucks. That should not be a thing.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I hate it so much. I get that. It's like
- 27:15Speaker 3: technically a designed run or whatever. It blows. I hate it.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Come on, DK. We're counting on you for this. At
- 27:24Speaker 1: least the NFL can, or the box scores can count
- 27:28Speaker 1: it however they want, but the, we need the sports
- 27:30Speaker 1: books to have our backs on this. I did find
- 27:32Speaker 1: this stat. Warren sharp shared this on Twitter last week.
- 27:38Speaker 1: If you watch the NFL and thought something doesn't feel right,
- 27:41Speaker 1: you're not alone. Number one, most flags in the league
- 27:44Speaker 1: over a decade through four weeks. So this again was
- 27:47Speaker 1: last week. This doesn't count week five. Refs are impacting
- 27:50Speaker 1: the most critical moments of the game. Number one in
- 27:53Speaker 1: a red zone penalties that we've seen in a decade.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Number one in most penalties on third and fourth downs
- 27:59Speaker 1: in the second half of games that we've seen in
- 28:02Speaker 1: NFL history, or at least as long as this has
- 28:04Speaker 1: been tracked in 17 games, touchdowns had been nullified by
- 28:08Speaker 1: a penalty only five during this timeframe in 2025. So
- 28:13Speaker 1: if it feels worse, it is worse. And here we are.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Which I mean, that number has got to be even
- 28:19Speaker 2: higher after yesterday, because I can think of a few
- 28:22Speaker 2: touchdowns that were recalled yesterday due to penalties as well.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I'm still waiting to see the replay of the hold
- 28:29Speaker 3: that they called on Josh Cameron's kickoff return.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I'm still waiting to see it, by the way, if
- 28:33Speaker 2: somebody has it, please send it to me.
- 28:35Speaker 1: We have much more to get to cash crash clutch.
- 28:38Speaker 1: We'll hear from Evan Abrams. We'll nominate our diva of
- 28:41Speaker 1: the week and a Monday night football, same game parlay.

- 29:31Speaker 1: a rough lesson right there.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I'm glad that I can't tell that your face is
- 29:35Speaker 2: red either.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Not at all. Not even a little bit.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I need to get back to the beach. This is
- 29:40Speaker 1: my pale face is showing too much of my emotion.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Who's your cash of the week? We're dead in the water.
- 29:47Speaker 1: If it crashes, it crashes, right?
- 29:48Speaker 4: Never stood a chance. No, it was cash.
- 29:54Speaker 2: My cash of the week is going to be Mike Gesicki.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I once again wanted to talk about the two touchdown
- 30:00Speaker 2: thing here, but we already did. And I'm going to
- 30:02Speaker 2: say Drake May finally getting a rushing touchdown.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Those are my two caches of the week. I have
- 30:08Speaker 3: two units left. on Drake may for our rushing touchdown.
- 30:14Speaker 1: We need four. We need four more.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I need him to get it together, please. But Mike
- 30:20Speaker 3: is sick.
- 30:20Speaker 2: He is my cash of the week. What a King
- 30:22Speaker 2: revenge game for him. Your dolphins almost came back yesterday.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Kravitz.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Don't let it fool you, but they did out.
- 30:28Speaker 1: They did out gain the Cincinnati bangles, which I did
- 30:31Speaker 1: not have on my bingo card. And that is not
- 30:34Speaker 1: something to gloss over completely. They have not done that yet.
- 30:38Speaker 1: This year out gained an opponent. Malik Willis looked horrendous,
- 30:44Speaker 1: horrendous to start the game. And in a comeback effort,
- 30:47Speaker 1: at least started to put some things together and shout
- 30:49Speaker 1: out to Ali Gordon. You might be the real deal.
- 30:52Speaker 3: I'm an Ali Gordon truther.
- 30:55Speaker 1: My cash is for Jordan love. Welcome to the 2026 season.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Love was dealing bomb after bomb. He had four completions
- 31:03Speaker 1: over 40 yards. Another one that went for 36. He
- 31:05Speaker 1: had that one sequence where he had three plays in
- 31:08Speaker 1: a row. Two got called back, went back to Christian
- 31:11Speaker 1: Watson again for a touchdown. He was super impressive. And
- 31:15Speaker 1: all of a sudden the Packers who were left for dead,
- 31:18Speaker 1: we're talking about potentially firing the coach three and two
- 31:22Speaker 1: tied with the bears and the lions. And they get
- 31:25Speaker 1: the Cowboys on Sunday night football next week. That offense
- 31:29Speaker 1: starting to click going up against the Dallas defense that
- 31:32Speaker 1: couldn't stop Jalen Daniels. Good luck. I have made one
- 31:35Speaker 1: bet for next week, Kendra, and it is on the
- 31:38Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers money line on Sunday night football.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I think I think they might be right. I think
- 31:44Speaker 3: that they might be back.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I do we know when Micah Parsons is expected to
- 31:48Speaker 2: be back? Is it supposed to be late October or
- 31:50Speaker 2: early November?
- 31:52Speaker 1: So this is the one that we were targeting. If
- 31:54Speaker 1: you remember the beginning of the season, this was the
- 31:56Speaker 1: game that we all had circled because mid October was
- 32:00Speaker 1: the timeframe. And then he was, it was also primetime
- 32:03Speaker 1: game against his former team, but I don't know how
- 32:06Speaker 1: he's doing. I just know that before the season, when
- 32:09Speaker 1: we had whatever information we did have, this was the
- 32:12Speaker 1: game we thought he would be back for it. Now
- 32:13Speaker 1: that's not part of my cap on this, but boy,
- 32:16Speaker 1: would it be nice to have Micah Parsons back in
- 32:18Speaker 1: the fold?
- 32:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that that's the big kind of difference
- 32:21Speaker 2: maker for me here is I don't I don't expect
- 32:24Speaker 2: him to play in this game.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I think it's going to be early November. But what
- 32:28Speaker 3: a difference maker he would be. I don't know.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I don't know if I can get there. It might
- 32:30Speaker 2: be a good spot for the Cowboys. I think that
- 32:32Speaker 2: they might be able to find a little bit of
- 32:33Speaker 2: get up after the way that the division went down.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Extra time to prepare and a bounce back opportunity. I
- 32:39Speaker 1: can understand the position on the Cowboys. We'll get to
- 32:42Speaker 1: that on Thursday. Who is your crash of the week?
- 32:46Speaker 2: Um, we already talked about Jane Daniels and Dan Quinn, um,
- 32:49Speaker 2: and Nick Sirianni.
- 32:50Speaker 3: So my other option, Oh wait, those are your options.
- 32:53Speaker 3: My bad. Um, I was reading yours and not mine. Um,
- 32:56Speaker 3: I got to go Vegas.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I just threw a bunch of names on there.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I got to go Vegas and Isaac Tesla. I went
- 33:02Speaker 2: into his kind of catches throughout the season as the
- 33:06Speaker 2: background as to why I got to the number on
- 33:07Speaker 2: him to target zero catches yesterday. One of them was
- 33:09Speaker 2: in the end zone and it was on Jared golf.
- 33:12Speaker 2: He completely just overthrew him. Um, But considering the blowout
- 33:16Speaker 2: and how much they spread out the scoring in the
- 33:18Speaker 2: offense yesterday, I was really disappointed to see him not
- 33:21Speaker 2: get the number of targets to be a hit for me.
- 33:23Speaker 2: But Vegas, I think, is the true answer for me here.
- 33:26Speaker 2: They just looked like a shell of themselves in a
- 33:30Speaker 2: game where I expected them to be better defensively. especially
- 33:33Speaker 2: because they looked really good in their opening game against
- 33:35Speaker 2: the Patriots last year. I know that they fell off,
- 33:37Speaker 2: you know, through the majority of the season after that,
- 33:39Speaker 2: obviously having the number one overall pick. It was nice
- 33:42Speaker 2: to see Fernando Mendoza get into the game yesterday.
- 33:45Speaker 3: But Vegas, I know that.
- 33:46Speaker 2: They there was no way that they were as good
- 33:48Speaker 2: of a team as their record said. But to watch
- 33:51Speaker 2: them just get absolutely manhandled by an injured team yesterday
- 33:55Speaker 2: was definitely a crash moment.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah. I kind of figured new England would win that game,
- 34:01Speaker 1: but I didn't think it would look like that. And
- 34:03Speaker 1: I live bet the Raiders plus 12 and a half
- 34:05Speaker 1: at halftime.
- 34:06Speaker 3: I saw that come through.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And I just, yeah, that went up in flames about
- 34:10Speaker 1: two minutes into the second half, just like everything else.
- 34:13Speaker 1: The part of the problem with the Raiders, they still
- 34:16Speaker 1: have that Brock powers easy button that they can hit,
- 34:18Speaker 1: but they're really having trouble finding the other thing. I
- 34:21Speaker 1: thought that thing was going to be Ashton Gentry this year.
- 34:24Speaker 1: And I took a long shot on him for offensive
- 34:26Speaker 1: player of the year. well before the season started 0%
- 34:29Speaker 1: chance that bet hits his longest run yesterday was four
- 34:33Speaker 1: yards and he has failed to crack three yards per
- 34:36Speaker 1: carry in three of five games. He might not be good.
- 34:40Speaker 1: We have to consider that Ashton Jenty could be a
- 34:43Speaker 1: bust of a first round pick. You don't need to
- 34:45Speaker 1: make the declaration on it yet, but it's starting to
- 34:47Speaker 1: look bad.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's easier to tell with a position
- 34:52Speaker 2: like that than it is with quarterbacks. I think that
- 34:54Speaker 2: you really need to give quarterbacks like three-ish years to
- 34:57Speaker 2: develop before you make a decision on them. That's something
- 35:00Speaker 2: I definitely learned with the Trevor Lawrence experience.
- 35:02Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't know.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Running back should be able to hit the ground running,
- 35:06Speaker 1: pun intended. It's not a complicated position.
- 35:10Speaker 2: It feels like the transition to the NFL from playing
- 35:14Speaker 2: an easier schedule in college just didn't suit him well.
- 35:17Speaker 3: And he's always injured. He's always injured. And that's the thing.
- 35:21Speaker 2: The best ability is availability. And I'm not ready to
- 35:23Speaker 2: write him off yet. but the fat and shout out
- 35:26Speaker 2: Dylan lobby. He was one of my like really good
- 35:27Speaker 2: friends in college, but him, you know, getting the number of,
- 35:30Speaker 2: and I don't mean any disrespect in saying this, but
- 35:32Speaker 2: him getting the number of snaps that he did in
- 35:34Speaker 2: that offense yesterday, I think says a lot about where
- 35:36Speaker 2: they are with Ashton Gentry, considering he's like the third
- 35:39Speaker 2: or fourth running back on that depth chart. And he
- 35:40Speaker 2: was getting noticeable carries yesterday.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:44Speaker 1: And he's been great on special teams this year. So
- 35:49Speaker 1: I understand why they wanted to give him more opportunities.
- 35:51Speaker 1: My crash is, jayden daniels dan quinn go with them
- 35:55Speaker 1: nick sirianni justin herbert again i thought okay this is
- 36:00Speaker 1: the week this is the week again we're gonna back
- 36:02Speaker 1: the chargers like i did in you didn't learn from
- 36:05Speaker 1: me week three was it against the bills plus seven
- 36:08Speaker 1: and a half they should have covered that game they're
- 36:11Speaker 1: up by seven late against the broncos justin herbert interception
- 36:16Speaker 1: late i mean bo nicks was terrible in this game
- 36:21Speaker 1: The Denver Broncos had no business winning this game, covering
- 36:25Speaker 1: this game, but that's how I feel about everyone that
- 36:28Speaker 1: plays against the chargers. The chargers do a lot of
- 36:32Speaker 1: things well, and then they just implode. I think we're
- 36:38Speaker 1: at the point of no return with Justin Herbert. I
- 36:40Speaker 1: don't know what else to do with this guy. He
- 36:41Speaker 1: looks lost.
- 36:43Speaker 3: I have two things to say about Justin Herbert.
- 36:46Speaker 2: One, I'm going to say something nice in the fact
- 36:48Speaker 2: that I think the kid is tough as hell, tough
- 36:50Speaker 2: as nails. I mean, you saw him just getting absolutely
- 36:54Speaker 2: bullied yesterday and he kept getting up and he kept trying.
- 36:58Speaker 3: But here's the thing. I think I said this a
- 36:59Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I really understand that Harbaugh is in the conversation to
- 37:04Speaker 2: be first coach fired, but I am very much in
- 37:06Speaker 2: the camp that they will choose him over Justin Herbert
- 37:09Speaker 2: when push comes to shove. And I get that finding
- 37:12Speaker 2: a starting quarterback in this league is so difficult and
- 37:15Speaker 2: it's so hard and you don't want to go into
- 37:17Speaker 2: the draft and have to do that. And every single
- 37:19Speaker 2: time there is a draft class of quarterbacks like there's
- 37:21Speaker 2: about to be in 2027. it is never correct. It
- 37:24Speaker 2: is always an absolute bust of a draft. But that
- 37:27Speaker 2: being said, I really don't think that Harbaugh is as
- 37:30Speaker 2: much to blame here as Justin Herbert and Mike McDaniel.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I just think that they are going to be willing
- 37:36Speaker 2: to walk away from a quarterback who's had what five
- 37:39Speaker 2: or six years to prove themselves at this point than
- 37:41Speaker 2: a coach who's a bonafide winner. I really just wonder
- 37:45Speaker 2: if they are going to get to a point where yes,
- 37:47Speaker 2: He is just, you know, above average right now and
- 37:51Speaker 2: has not been a winner, has zero clutch.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Gene cannot win in the postseason. I almost wonder if.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Teams start calling as more injuries pile up, what they
- 38:00Speaker 2: would be willing to take to part ways with him.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I don't see it happening in the middle of the season,
- 38:05Speaker 1: but I do think this is a conversation for the offseason.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I think they're going to have to have a serious
- 38:09Speaker 1: conversation about what they want to do moving forward. And
- 38:12Speaker 1: maybe Justin Herbert needs a fresh slate somewhere else to be.
- 38:16Speaker 1: The Mike, it's not working this, this new combo, not
- 38:21Speaker 1: working at all. I also think that a big crash overall,
- 38:25Speaker 1: maybe there needs to be some sort of off season
- 38:28Speaker 1: seminar for coaches in the NFL on how to operate
- 38:32Speaker 1: at the end of games, Nick Sirianni, Brian Schottenheimer, There's
- 38:37Speaker 1: something about the international flair that makes these coaches go insane.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Dan Quinn this weekend. These are simple things. We should
- 38:45Speaker 1: not be calling out what the correct thing is to
- 38:48Speaker 1: do from our couch. How do these guys not know
- 38:51Speaker 1: how to handle these late game situations? Schottenheimer against the,
- 38:55Speaker 1: against the Ravens a week ago, kicking the ball, to
- 39:01Speaker 1: out of the end zone and allowing Lamar Jackson to
- 39:04Speaker 1: run a play when they had a timeout. That's when
- 39:06Speaker 1: you don't do that reverse situation this week with Nick Sirianni,
- 39:11Speaker 1: no timeouts for the Jags. So you want them to
- 39:15Speaker 1: run a play because they're not going to be able
- 39:16Speaker 1: to clock it. If they end up with a reception,
- 39:19Speaker 1: this is just such obvious stuff. And then forget about
- 39:21Speaker 1: Dan Quinn and Jaden Daniels. I mean, that was, we're
- 39:24Speaker 1: never going to see that again in our lifetimes. That
- 39:26Speaker 1: was so stupid, but maybe there needs to be some
- 39:28Speaker 1: sort of a seminar for these coaches on how to
- 39:30Speaker 1: operate the end of game situations.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I wholeheartedly believe that every single head coach in the
- 39:36Speaker 2: NFL is going to take what happened in the Commanders
- 39:38Speaker 2: game yesterday and show it in their weekly meetings and say,
- 39:42Speaker 2: this better not fucking happen to us because this is embarrassing.
- 39:45Speaker 2: And I will put you on the bench if anything
- 39:47Speaker 2: remotely this stupid happens and you are involved.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Yes.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Agreed.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Let's get to our clutch of the week. I've got
- 39:54Speaker 1: a few cam little, I'll let you expound on him.
- 39:56Speaker 1: If you'd like to, he was nails at the end
- 39:59Speaker 1: of that game. Brock Purdy was awesome. David Bailey with
- 40:03Speaker 1: the jets recorded three of the team's eight sacks against
- 40:07Speaker 1: the Browns becoming only the second rookie in jets history
- 40:10Speaker 1: to have three in one game. Shout out to Hugh Douglas,
- 40:13Speaker 1: the other in 1995. I thought Purdy was, was great
- 40:18Speaker 1: at the end of this game. He finished with 19
- 40:20Speaker 1: of 29, 189 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Mike
- 40:24Speaker 1: Evans was such a clutch signing for them, came up
- 40:28Speaker 1: big and dealt with the rib injury throughout the game.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Of course, it's a 49er dealing with an injury in
- 40:32Speaker 1: the middle of the game, but those are my clutch.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I had too many to choose. A lot of impressive performances,
- 40:39Speaker 1: especially at the end of these games.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I'm going to go on audible here. I had Amir
- 40:43Speaker 2: Abdullah in my notes. I had Cam Little in my notes.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I had Kyle Hamilton in my notes. I think that
- 40:47Speaker 2: I would give Kyle Hamilton my flowers if it wasn't
- 40:50Speaker 2: Tua that he picked off, but I'm going to go
- 40:52Speaker 2: with Devon Hamilton, the nose tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars,
- 40:56Speaker 2: the backup long snapper who came into the game yesterday.
- 40:59Speaker 3: And yes, Logan Cook did have to correct a few
- 41:01Speaker 3: of his high.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Snaps, but a big man being able to see through
- 41:04Speaker 2: his legs like that and help clutch a win for
- 41:07Speaker 2: the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Like I know that I'm a Jags fan, but But Kravitz,
- 41:13Speaker 2: you are not a 320 pound man.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Do you think that you could bend over and see
- 41:17Speaker 3: through your legs right now?
- 41:20Speaker 1: No, I don't. I definitely could not.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Impressive stuff from a nose tackle. I have to say
- 41:25Speaker 2: that is going to be my clutch. Just willing to work,
- 41:28Speaker 2: willing to show up and willing to help get a.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Win for his guys.
- 41:31Speaker 2: No matter what the call is, I'm going to go
- 41:34Speaker 2: with Devon Hamilton yesterday.
- 41:35Speaker 1: That was Devon Hamilton, the emergency long snapper. How do
- 41:39Speaker 1: you not have someone else on the offensive line that
- 41:43Speaker 1: is doing that job for you? I don't get how you,
- 41:47Speaker 1: you go from long from a potential center, perhaps that
- 41:53Speaker 1: would be more used to that than a defensive tackle.
- 41:56Speaker 1: That doesn't make any sense. Production is putting their foot down. Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 1: they want one. They want one nominee. I get it.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I respect it.
- 42:04Speaker 3: It was a crazy week. We have to talk about
- 42:06Speaker 3: all this stuff somehow.
- 42:07Speaker 1: We're trying to put it into the pot here. I
- 42:09Speaker 1: guess if I had one, it would be Brock Purdy
- 42:11Speaker 1: and what he did, even though he cost us the win.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I got to give credit where credit is due. Aided
- 42:16Speaker 1: by Sam Darnold for the second week in a row.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Darnold was picked on the opening possession. He has three
- 42:23Speaker 1: or I'm sorry. He has five picks in the last
- 42:25Speaker 1: three games. Yeah, it does make me wonder. What we
- 42:30Speaker 1: would be getting out of Drew Locke. But I guess
- 42:33Speaker 1: this is a lifetime of disappointment with Sam Darnold outside
- 42:36Speaker 1: of what he did last year.
- 42:38Speaker 3: No, I'm not locked on Locke.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Your Diva of the Week. He's just a diva. No,
- 42:43Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 42:44Speaker 3: An impossible diva.
- 42:46Speaker 1: What would make you say something like that?
- 42:48Speaker 3: It's pretty obvious. Diva alert!
- 42:51Speaker 2: My Diva of the Week is Jason Kelsey because why
- 42:55Speaker 2: the hell was he allowed to call an Eagles game?
- 42:57Speaker 3: I'm sorry, listening to that.
- 43:00Speaker 2: call yesterday was insufferable and every once in a while
- 43:03Speaker 2: he would catch himself like glazing the eagles and he'd
- 43:06Speaker 2: have to be like oh well i really appreciated the
- 43:08Speaker 2: drags did this i thought this was awesome because he
- 43:10Speaker 2: would catch himself like jerking off in the middle of
- 43:13Speaker 2: this freaking game i'm sorry i know that i probably
- 43:15Speaker 2: shouldn't say that we're trying to keep a pg-13 around
- 43:17Speaker 2: here i hated this Unless you're going to let Tony
- 43:22Speaker 2: Buscelli in the booth next to him or Maurice Jones-Drew
- 43:24Speaker 2: or whatever, this shouldn't have been allowed in the first place.
- 43:28Speaker 2: But with the refs and Jason Kelsey both just absolutely
- 43:32Speaker 2: screwing the Jags yesterday, I was in fits.
- 43:35Speaker 3: I was already pissed off. I was already mad.
- 43:37Speaker 2: And just every single time he said something about how
- 43:40Speaker 2: great something about the Eagles were or he was cheering
- 43:42Speaker 2: for them or whatever. The only thing that I'll give
- 43:45Speaker 2: him credit on was he did say that that should
- 43:47Speaker 2: have been a safety. And I'm sorry, but anybody who's
- 43:49Speaker 2: been watching football for more than like a year knows that.
- 43:52Speaker 3: So like you did your job there. I'll give it
- 43:54Speaker 3: to you. But I was just shocked. Diva of the week,
- 44:00Speaker 3: Jason Kelsey. Oh my God. With his stupid spiked hair.
- 44:02Speaker 3: I really like his wife, Kylie Kelsey. I think that
- 44:04Speaker 3: she's a real one, but like he shouldn't be allowed
- 44:07Speaker 3: to do an Eagles broadcast. I'm sorry. Like that was insufferable.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I have another three, but I'm going to, I'm going to,
- 44:14Speaker 1: I'm going to heal it back. Mine is Sean Payton
- 44:18Speaker 1: of the Broncos taking back play calling from Davis web,
- 44:22Speaker 1: kind of a diva move to do that. We're in
- 44:25Speaker 1: week five. And he gave into the fan pressure, the
- 44:29Speaker 1: media pressure. This is a guy that you hand picked.
- 44:32Speaker 1: He said this week that Davis Webb is going to
- 44:36Speaker 1: be a head coach. So he's going to be a
- 44:37Speaker 1: head coach one day, but he's not good enough to
- 44:39Speaker 1: call plays for the team in week five. And I
- 44:41Speaker 1: know the Broncos won the game, but it masked how
- 44:45Speaker 1: bad their offense was. Cortland Sutton, Jalen Waddle had one
- 44:49Speaker 1: target each in the first three quarters of this game.
- 44:52Speaker 1: They combined for four catches in the game. And that's
- 44:56Speaker 1: what you're cooking up. The Broncos were one for 12
- 44:59Speaker 1: on third down. Bo Nix fumbled twice. They had as
- 45:02Speaker 1: many first downs from penalties as they had passing. So
- 45:08Speaker 1: can somebody explain to me what they got out of
- 45:10Speaker 1: Sean Payton that they weren't getting out of the last guy?
- 45:12Speaker 1: Diva of the week was taking play calling away from
- 45:15Speaker 1: your OC.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I was just going to say it didn't look
- 45:17Speaker 3: any better.
- 45:19Speaker 1: It was the exact same success rate, worst of the year,
- 45:21Speaker 1: 27.6 in terms of their past game success rate. So
- 45:25Speaker 1: Sean Payton, Jason Kelsey, Divas. Let's bring in the Oracle,
- 45:30Speaker 1: Evan Abrams. Evan, what'd you learn this weekend? I don't know.
- 45:36Speaker 4: I have so much to say. I could comment on
- 45:38Speaker 4: this podcast.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I will say one thing.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Bo Nix, I feel like is the story versus Sean Payton.
- 45:43Speaker 4: but that's for another day.
- 45:45Speaker 1: And yeah, but that is the, that is the story though.
- 45:48Speaker 1: That's sort of my point. Evan is that Davis web got,
- 45:53Speaker 1: he got yanked to the plate calling duties because Bo
- 45:55Speaker 1: Nix isn't performing right now. This isn't a Davis web problem.
- 45:59Speaker 1: This isn't a Sean Payton solution. This is a bone
- 46:02Speaker 1: Nix issue right now that this offense is dealing with.
- 46:05Speaker 1: So I do think he's the story.
- 46:07Speaker 4: Peyton's not the solution. I'm not sure it's a Davis
- 46:09Speaker 4: way problem yet or will be. I think that's to
- 46:11Speaker 4: be decided. I think it's a bone next issue, at
- 46:14Speaker 4: least for now. And says something about the charge with
- 46:16Speaker 4: the loss yesterday. And also for Kendra, Logan Cook saves
- 46:20Speaker 4: the day. He's the man. He's the MVP. All goes awry. Yeah,
- 46:23Speaker 4: but like he doesn't do his job.
- 46:25Speaker 3: I run a Logan Cook fan page. I can't say that.
- 46:28Speaker 1: That's fair. All right. I want to know why you
- 46:31Speaker 1: were going to fight Kendra on the quarterback rushing stat.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Oh, it's the same thing as like, and listen, I've
- 46:38Speaker 4: been saved by sports books doing this as well. But like,
- 46:41Speaker 4: it's like when a sports book like gives you like
- 46:43Speaker 4: a refund for like an injury. It's like, it's a
- 46:45Speaker 4: part of the game. Like we're not going to remove that.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I mean, it's a rushing.
- 46:49Speaker 4: He's literally going back a yard. It's like part of
- 46:52Speaker 4: the handicap. It's part of the fun. It's like when
- 46:54Speaker 4: you're handicapping rushing yards, everyone says to themselves, oh, well,
- 46:58Speaker 4: if they win, we've got to take into effect, you
- 47:01Speaker 4: might lose a yard or two. It's like part of
- 47:04Speaker 4: the fun of it. I think it changes the bet
- 47:06Speaker 4: if you remove it.
- 47:07Speaker 1: It's only fun if you win.
- 47:10Speaker 4: That's completely not true. Then you haven't gambled long enough.
- 47:12Speaker 4: All right, on to stats. Kendra, you asked me this
- 47:16Speaker 4: question last week about two touchdowns. You've been mentioning it.
- 47:19Speaker 4: I looked it up. 67 so far entering Monday Night
- 47:22Speaker 4: Football tied for the most we've seen in a season.
- 47:25Speaker 4: So that's fun through five weeks. 20 more than last year.
- 47:28Speaker 4: So you're definitely seeing more two touchdown games. I also
- 47:32Speaker 4: just counted quickly 13 touchdowns. I counted two touchdown games,
- 47:35Speaker 4: it looks like. So fun nonetheless. I have so much
- 47:39Speaker 4: stuff this week that you're going to have to just
- 47:41Speaker 4: go to the primer and I don't want to waste
- 47:43Speaker 4: everybody's time. But I did see you.
- 47:44Speaker 1: You're never a waste of time, Evan. We always love
- 47:46Speaker 1: your time.
- 47:47Speaker 4: I did see you wanted to talk about the NFC East.
- 47:49Speaker 4: So I did just throw up something together there. So like,
- 47:53Speaker 4: obviously yesterday was a cluster F. It was just absolutely ridiculous.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Nothing to talk about there. We all tweeted about it.
- 47:58Speaker 4: But it is interesting from like a betting perspective. Favorites?
- 48:02Speaker 4: In the NFC East, whether they're against each other, other divisions, whatever.
- 48:05Speaker 4: 2-6 against the spread this year. 13-18 ATS last year.
- 48:09Speaker 4: So 15-24 if you were a favorite coming out of
- 48:12Speaker 4: the NFC East. You were also only 20-18-1 straight up
- 48:17Speaker 4: in those games. Second worst of any division. The worst
- 48:20Speaker 4: is the NFC South at 13-18 straight up as favorites.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Which almost feels impossible, but is awesome. I'll give you
- 48:29Speaker 4: something on totals. So this is as true as could be.
- 48:34Speaker 4: Totals 39 and 39 entering Monday Night Football tonight. So
- 48:38Speaker 4: an even this year. But if you look closer, totals
- 48:41Speaker 4: of 47 or higher, 17 and 7 to the over.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Totals under 47, 32 and 22 to the under. So
- 48:49Speaker 4: it really does seem like the market's kind of getting
- 48:51Speaker 4: it right at the moment. Higher totals going over, lower
- 48:53Speaker 4: totals going under. I thought that was kind of fun.
- 48:56Speaker 4: And then this one really says something about the NFL
- 48:59Speaker 4: in general. Teams leading by more than one possession, nine
- 49:02Speaker 4: plus points at any point in the game, are covering
- 49:04Speaker 4: just 74.6% of games through five weeks. That is the
- 49:08Speaker 4: second lowest win percentage since division realignment in 2002. So
- 49:13Speaker 4: you're leading by a lot. You're still not covering. It
- 49:16Speaker 4: feels like the NFL we're watching in front of us,
- 49:18Speaker 4: and it's exactly what's happening. sitting there. It's the lowest
- 49:22Speaker 4: since 2011. So it just feels like a completely different NFL,
- 49:25Speaker 4: and I feel like we're getting the exact same thing
- 49:28Speaker 4: we're seeing. And I'll give you one on the Chargers.
- 49:31Speaker 4: Chargers 0-5, pretty much a story right now, entering the
- 49:34Speaker 4: season as a win total of 9.5. The last team
- 49:37Speaker 4: to start 0-5 with a win total this high 2004
- 49:41Speaker 4: Miami Dolphins behind Dave Wanstat. It has been a long
- 49:45Speaker 4: time and the expectations feels like it's marrying what we're seeing.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Any idea what they did in week six?
- 49:54Speaker 4: No, but I remember seeing them twice in my database
- 49:58Speaker 4: in week six and seven, which tells me they lost.
- 50:02Speaker 1: This was in 2004, you said?
- 50:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 4: I'm almost positive they lost because they showed up twice
- 50:08Speaker 4: in the database, so. While you're looking that up, I
- 50:12Speaker 4: love this one because people were talking about Lions and
- 50:15Speaker 4: Cowboys being easy overs every week. If you would just
- 50:18Speaker 4: bet Cowboys and Lions over since the start of last year,
- 50:21Speaker 4: you'd be 31-12. That is crazy.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Also, the Chargers do have the Chiefs this week off
- 50:30Speaker 3: of a bye.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I can't. I think the Chargers have officially hit bet
- 50:37Speaker 1: prison for me.
- 50:39Speaker 4: Well, yeah, terrible off a buy. We all know that. Yeah, right.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Of course. The joke. The Dolphins were 0 and 5.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You're right. After the first five weeks that season in 2005,
- 50:50Speaker 1: they played the Bills in week six and they lost
- 50:54Speaker 1: 20 to 13. I don't know what the spread was.
- 50:56Speaker 1: They didn't win a game until week seven against the St.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Louis Rams.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Can I can I just run you guys through the
- 51:03Speaker 2: rest of the Chargers schedule really quick?
- 51:05Speaker 1: It's not pretty. Hold on.
- 51:07Speaker 4: Before you do that, though, remember what we talked about
- 51:08Speaker 4: in the preseason. 24 games or 24 negative rest as well.
- 51:14Speaker 4: Like this team had so many terrible schedule things even
- 51:17Speaker 4: coming into the year. So continue, Kendra.
- 51:20Speaker 3: They're going to play the Chiefs this week.
- 51:22Speaker 2: And then the Rams, Texans, Ravens, Jets, Patriots, Bucks, Raiders, 49ers, Dolphins, Chiefs, Broncos.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Woof. Yeah. I mean, outside of the Dolphins, none of
- 51:33Speaker 1: those sound winnable. right now. Evan Abrams. Thank you so much.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Be on the lookout for the primer and more goodies
- 51:43Speaker 1: to come from Evan Abrams. Thank you, my friend.
- 51:46Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 51:48Speaker 3: Love you.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Time for our Monday night football. Same game parlay brought
- 52:01Speaker 1: to you by draft Kings. What are you cooking up Kendra?
- 52:04Speaker 3: I had a lot of things that I was looking at.
- 52:06Speaker 2: And because I think that we both need, well, I
- 52:09Speaker 2: had an okay day yesterday, but we're both in the
- 52:11Speaker 2: need of a win.
- 52:11Speaker 3: I'm going to give you two options on the same player,
- 52:13Speaker 3: just different angles.
- 52:15Speaker 2: And I think we can have a group thing. If
- 52:16Speaker 2: Evan would like to chime in as well, we can
- 52:18Speaker 2: do that. But Kyron Williams, over 23 receiving yards for
- 52:22Speaker 2: him is minus 115, but I could also be talked
- 52:24Speaker 2: into over four receptions plus 147 if we like that better.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Just because the money is a little bit better, I
- 52:30Speaker 2: think that if he's going to hit the yards, he'll
- 52:32Speaker 2: probably hit the receptions. I did have his averages pulled up,
- 52:35Speaker 2: but I accidentally exited out of it. I kind of
- 52:38Speaker 2: would prefer the receiving yards, I think, but I could
- 52:41Speaker 2: be talked into the total receptions.
- 52:42Speaker 1: He is averaging 43.2 receiving yards per game. I know
- 52:47Speaker 1: that from looking at this earlier, he has passed this
- 52:51Speaker 1: in three of the four so far. So you are
- 52:54Speaker 1: getting Kyron Williams as part of the passing attack. One
- 52:59Speaker 1: of the reasons that I'm going to talk about the
- 53:00Speaker 1: Rams in a second, I like them as I like
- 53:02Speaker 1: their ability to throw the ball against this Bill's secondary.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Bingo.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Only concern I have is how much they're going to
- 53:10Speaker 1: need Kyron Williams in this game. And I don't think
- 53:12Speaker 1: it's much, but he has performed well. And I am
- 53:16Speaker 1: targeting the Rams passing attack is one of the reasons
- 53:18Speaker 1: I like LA tonight. I think I would go with
- 53:20Speaker 1: the yards because he only needs, he only needs one
- 53:23Speaker 1: big play for us to, to, to crack that 23
- 53:26Speaker 1: and a half. I'm going to add to, so are
- 53:29Speaker 1: you good with that? The Kyron Williams?
- 53:30Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 53:31Speaker 2: That's what, that's where I was leaning, but because the
- 53:33Speaker 2: value is better and it's a parlay, I was willing
- 53:35Speaker 2: to take the other side, but I agree.
- 53:36Speaker 3: I think that the receiving yards is the way to
- 53:38Speaker 3: do it.
- 53:39Speaker 1: All right. Minus one 12 over 23 and a half
- 53:41Speaker 1: on Kyron Williams receiving yards. I like the Rams to
- 53:45Speaker 1: win this game. The bills defense has been letting everybody
- 53:49Speaker 1: get loose. Nick Giffen has, this is a luck game
- 53:51Speaker 1: as well. Tilting the way of the LA Rams. The
- 53:55Speaker 1: bills is the luckier of the two. I think it's
- 53:57Speaker 1: a great time to buy the super bowl favorites at
- 53:59Speaker 1: home in prime time, catching what I believe will be
- 54:03Speaker 1: a lower percentage of the overall bets as well. In fact,
- 54:07Speaker 1: let me pull that up just so I'm not, I
- 54:10Speaker 1: looked at this the other day. Yep. 79% of the
- 54:13Speaker 1: bets on the Buffalo bills. The public has been getting
- 54:16Speaker 1: crushed in these prime time games being on a non-public
- 54:20Speaker 1: Ram side. You're not going to have a lot of
- 54:22Speaker 1: opportunities to do that this year. Bill's defense, worst unit
- 54:25Speaker 1: on the field. I like the Rams. I'll take them
- 54:27Speaker 1: on the money line since we are parlaying this Rams
- 54:30Speaker 1: money line. Kyron Williams over 23 and a half receiving yards.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Do you like it?
- 54:37Speaker 3: I do like it.
- 54:38Speaker 2: I was also looking at some like interception props just
- 54:41Speaker 2: because Matt Stafford's given the ball away like nobody else.
- 54:45Speaker 2: And Josh Allen also is up there leading the league
- 54:49Speaker 2: in interceptions. But I just feel like with both of them,
- 54:52Speaker 2: I think Stafford threw two last week and Josh threw
- 54:56Speaker 2: one last week. I wasn't willing to double dip. Had
- 54:58Speaker 2: one of them kind of missed out on throwing one
- 55:00Speaker 2: last week, I would have been more likely. But yeah,
- 55:03Speaker 2: I think that we might be getting back on track here,
- 55:06Speaker 2: my friend.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I like it. The books are basically saying a higher
- 55:09Speaker 1: probability of a Josh Allen touchdown tonight at minus one 31,
- 55:13Speaker 1: Matt Stafford at minus one 21. And I think it
- 55:16Speaker 1: makes sense based on what we were talking about. Yes.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Stafford is the more turnover prone of the two, but
- 55:22Speaker 1: the bill's defense is going to let Matt Stafford cook
- 55:24Speaker 1: in this game. I don't want to bank on him
- 55:27Speaker 1: to throw a pick, but we'll keep with the two
- 55:29Speaker 1: that we have Rams money line, Kyra Williams over 23
- 55:32Speaker 1: and a half receiving yards at plus 1 88. On DraftKings,
- 55:36Speaker 1: the crown is yours. The favorites will return on Thursday
- 55:41Speaker 1: as we deep dive into week six of the NFL.
