- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Hi, guys. Welcome to another episode of Two Teas in
- 0:19Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and... Dolores Catania.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Hi, everybody.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Hi.
- 0:25Speaker 1: How's it going?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Going really good. Let me ask you, what you've been
- 0:31Speaker 3: up to lately?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Well, I went to my daughter's nationals.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I saw.
- 0:36Speaker 2: How'd she do? In Washington, D.C.
- 0:37Speaker 1: She was great.
- 0:38Speaker 2: She was second. She was third. She was beautiful. She
- 0:42Speaker 2: was so consistent. Amazing. And it was actually like a
- 0:46Speaker 2: really good trip for us because we're in that teenage
- 0:51Speaker 2: phase where like she kind of keeps snapping at me. Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 2: And there was finally a moment where I was like, hey,
- 0:59Speaker 2: we need to have a real conversation. I do this
- 1:03Speaker 2: with you because I love you. And almost every cent
- 1:06Speaker 2: that I make is spent on you. On the horse. Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 2: On the horse, on this, on, you know, supporting you.
- 1:13Speaker 2: And if you don't want me here and it's not
- 1:16Speaker 2: important to you for me to be here, we don't
- 1:19Speaker 2: have to do it in this capacity. That is amazing.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I've had that conversation once.
- 1:25Speaker 2: And she was like, well, and I said, you're really
- 1:28Speaker 2: hurting my feelings. I'm here with all of our best friends.
- 1:32Speaker 2: We flew across the country. We flew our horses across
- 1:35Speaker 2: the country. And then like, it's like we finally had
- 1:38Speaker 2: a breakthrough.
- 1:39Speaker 1: No, she needed to hear that.
- 1:41Speaker 2: You know why?
- 1:42Speaker 1: She doesn't want to hurt your feelings. She doesn't want
- 1:44Speaker 1: to be mean. She can't help herself. It's teenage. She's
- 1:49Speaker 1: a teenager. And I just said it 20 minutes ago.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I'd never want to be a teenager again.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:57Speaker 3: You know, you're going through, you go through a lot. And,
- 2:00Speaker 3: but doesn't mean it's okay. So that conversation, I remember
- 2:05Speaker 3: I had this conversation with Gab. She was being so
- 2:08Speaker 3: mean to me. She apologizes now, by the way, Teddy.
- 2:12Speaker 3: She apologizes to me for the way she treated me
- 2:15Speaker 3: when she was a teenager. And I remember saying to her,
- 2:21Speaker 3: she was giving me a hard time about the show.
- 2:23Speaker 3: And she was like, you know, that show and this
- 2:26Speaker 3: and that. And like, she was kind of like wished,
- 2:28Speaker 3: I think maybe I did something different or, and I
- 2:33Speaker 3: said to her, I remember saying, you.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Are what you are because I was behind you every
- 2:38Speaker 1: step of the way. Yeah. So don't knock me and don't,
- 2:42Speaker 1: cause I can run circles around. You're not smarter than me.
- 2:45Speaker 1: You'll never be.
- 2:46Speaker 3: And I remember just like kind of saying that. And
- 2:49Speaker 3: I've never had to say that again. It doesn't mean
- 2:51Speaker 3: she's always been nice.
- 2:53Speaker 2: But I feel like sometimes there's that moment like and
- 2:56Speaker 2: it started out as a joke. Like we were there
- 2:59Speaker 2: with another couple of people that ride horses and one
- 3:02Speaker 2: of them has a private jet, which, you know, wish
- 3:04Speaker 2: I was them. But they were leaving a day before us.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And so the woman's like, you know, you're welcome to
- 3:12Speaker 2: come home on the jet. And I looked at Slate
- 3:14Speaker 2: jokingly and I said, should I go home today? And
- 3:19Speaker 2: you just go you show without me tomorrow. And she goes,
- 3:22Speaker 2: you can't. And then I go, are you seriously? Like, honestly,
- 3:27Speaker 2: are you serious? Because like, I can't even imagine. And
- 3:30Speaker 2: she goes, well, then I wouldn't have to worry about you.
- 3:36Speaker 2: And I was like, I couldn't even help it. Like,
- 3:38Speaker 2: tears welled up in my eyes. Like, and that night
- 3:42Speaker 2: was the night we had the conversation about it. And
- 3:44Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know if you thought you
- 3:45Speaker 2: were being funny, but it wasn't funny. Yeah. I'm glad
- 3:50Speaker 2: you had it.
- 3:51Speaker 3: It was time to have it. She'll never forget that conversation.
- 3:57Speaker 3: She'll never forget saying that to you.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah. But you know what? She'll think twice before she
- 4:05Speaker 1: says something like that to you again. And you'll save.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Her somewhere down the road when we look back and
- 4:12Speaker 3: we say, I feel bad for what I said to
- 4:14Speaker 3: my mom, you know?
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah. And it needs to be had.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And I mean, it was really good. I was home with,
- 4:21Speaker 2: you know, by home, whenever I say home, I mean
- 4:24Speaker 2: East Coast because all my East Coast riding friends are there.
- 4:28Speaker 2: They're all the people I grew up with, lived with. Because,
- 4:30Speaker 2: you know, I didn't really even barely live with my mom.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I just traveled around with the horse trainers and their kids.
- 4:37Speaker 2: And they all became like family. And so we had
- 4:41Speaker 2: that time. And I had a conversation with one of
- 4:45Speaker 2: my best friends. She kind of looked at me and
- 4:47Speaker 2: she's like, how are you feeling? Like, how are you
- 4:50Speaker 2: really doing? And I was like, I am actually really scared.
- 4:55Speaker 2: And I like forgot that I felt the way that
- 4:58Speaker 2: I did until like, it took like somebody from my
- 5:01Speaker 2: past and somebody that really knows me.
- 5:03Speaker 3: And she's like, like a familiarity where you would open
- 5:06Speaker 3: up to before all this.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Like this was, you know, she came out and
- 5:09Speaker 2: saw me when I was in the hospital and all
- 5:11Speaker 2: those things, but she goes like, how are you truly
- 5:13Speaker 2: doing it? And I was like, I, feel so frightened.
- 5:20Speaker 2: And she's like, what do you feel frightened about? And
- 5:22Speaker 2: I'm like, there is so much fear right now that
- 5:27Speaker 2: I am going to go off of immunotherapy and nine
- 5:30Speaker 2: months from now, and the cancer is going to come back.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And so I'm doing all of this fighting right now
- 5:37Speaker 2: to stay alive, to feel okay, to be there for
- 5:40Speaker 2: my kids, to be there for my friends, to be
- 5:42Speaker 2: there for family, to show up for the pod and
- 5:45Speaker 2: be the best that I can be.
- 5:46Speaker 1: As you are.
- 5:47Speaker 2: But I am so frightened, Dolores. It's like yesterday was
- 5:51Speaker 2: a very emotional day because like, I don't know why
- 5:55Speaker 2: I can't get that out of my head. Why I
- 5:56Speaker 2: can't just have this like positive energy surrounding it.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Because you've been through so much and that's a valid fear.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It is.
- 6:07Speaker 3: But so many people come on the other side of that.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And I feel like I can't speak for you. But
- 6:15Speaker 1: I feel like until you get past that part, you
- 6:18Speaker 1: will be scared.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah. And I think it's just, it's weighing, it weighs
- 6:22Speaker 2: on me whenever I go out of town and I
- 6:24Speaker 2: see other people that I love. And also then I
- 6:26Speaker 2: come home and I remember, and you know, this isn't
- 6:29Speaker 2: anything against the Valley guy or anything like that. But
- 6:32Speaker 2: then I come home and I remember I'm alone. Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Like I've got my kids, but like, I got to
- 6:40Speaker 2: figure this out on my, like when I was at
- 6:42Speaker 2: the horse show, somebody's driving me around everywhere. We're all,
- 6:44Speaker 2: we're all with a group of people the whole time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And you're busy.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yeah. And we're busy. And it's, and then all of
- 6:49Speaker 2: a sudden it's like, okay, reality sets in. You're back home.
- 6:53Speaker 2: You're watching seven shows for work. You're, you can't drive.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I can, I can speak to feeling alone and being
- 7:04Speaker 3: alone and try and saying at the end of the day,
- 7:07Speaker 3: I have to figure this out by myself. And I
- 7:09Speaker 3: have to be here for my kids. And I kind
- 7:12Speaker 3: of I know that feeling.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And it's a kind of a shitty feeling.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Because at the end of the day, it's just you.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:19Speaker 3: All day long, you have people around you. You have
- 7:22Speaker 3: your kids. You have things going on.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And, you know. hours turn into minutes. Like the day
- 7:28Speaker 1: goes so fast.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, the fact that Slade's turning 14 today
- 7:32Speaker 2: is insane.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Oh, today's her birthday?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, today's her birthday.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Why do I feel like you already celebrated that?
- 7:38Speaker 2: We did that just for a free cake a week early.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Fair enough.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Today's her actual birthday.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Happy birthday to her.
- 7:52Speaker 2: She's getting big. She's getting like so grown up. She's
- 7:56Speaker 2: like becoming a woman. She's grown up. Yes. So, so
- 8:00Speaker 2: all of that's good. But then it kind of like
- 8:02Speaker 2: led me to have like kind of a serious conversation
- 8:04Speaker 2: with Valley guy yesterday. Oh, I.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Know.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Cause he was like, how's it going? And I was like,
- 8:11Speaker 2: I'm actually pretty sad to come back to LA to
- 8:14Speaker 2: be honest. Like I've, I've been very homesick and miss
- 8:17Speaker 2: Doug and Cruz and Bella and our routine and, But
- 8:21Speaker 2: I'm very sad to come home because there's a certain
- 8:23Speaker 2: level of loneliness. And he goes, why don't you tell
- 8:27Speaker 2: me about this more often? Oh, that was nice. It
- 8:31Speaker 2: was nice. And I said, kind of nice, kind of nice.
- 8:33Speaker 2: But then I also said, because I don't even really
- 8:36Speaker 2: know how you feel about me. So what do you
- 8:39Speaker 2: say that? And I said, so I don't really even
- 8:42Speaker 2: know how you feel about me. So I don't want
- 8:44Speaker 2: to put that kind of pressure on you right now.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I see one, two times a week. And I was like,
- 8:50Speaker 2: so right now I'm getting what I can get. And
- 8:54Speaker 2: that's like to have fun and step away. And I said,
- 8:58Speaker 2: but I don't, I really don't know where you are.
- 9:00Speaker 2: And he's like, you know what? That's a valid point.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Well, I don't love that answer, but I don't love
- 9:06Speaker 1: that answer, but I think that's, That's an honest answer.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It's an honest answer. And I have a question for you.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Like I was talking with my one of my other
- 9:14Speaker 2: friends at the horse show and we're talking about relationships.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And she's like part of what. Has she's like, I've
- 9:22Speaker 2: been with, you know, her husband, I will just let
- 9:24Speaker 2: we'll call him George right now. I've been with George
- 9:27Speaker 2: for 25 years. Do you think every single day I
- 9:31Speaker 2: just can't wait to like rip George's clothes off and
- 9:35Speaker 2: hang out? She's like, no, he's my companion. He's my partner.
- 9:39Speaker 2: We divide and conquer.
- 9:42Speaker 1: OK.
- 9:42Speaker 2: And I think there's like this parts of all of
- 9:45Speaker 2: that that's like becoming reality to me. I think I
- 9:48Speaker 2: was like I have a dopamine rush when I go
- 9:50Speaker 2: to a horse show, when I do this or when
- 9:52Speaker 2: I have a good show or any of those things.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And then when it's back to reality, it's like, OK,
- 9:57Speaker 2: here I am just one foot. in front of the
- 10:00Speaker 2: other trying to figure it out.
- 10:03Speaker 3: I can I'm older than you, and I have not
- 10:06Speaker 3: been through a lot of what you're going through, but I've.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Been through some of what you're going through.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And I can tell you that sometimes life feels like that,
- 10:14Speaker 3: especially when you're single, you're a single mom. And after
- 10:18Speaker 3: a divorce and after a lot of uncertainty in your life,
- 10:23Speaker 3: you feel like that.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And then there's times where things just feel like it's together. Yeah.
- 10:28Speaker 1: So you lose a stability in your life.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Listen, I can't say you and I have both always
- 10:34Speaker 3: had stability in our lives, even growing up.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Of course not.
- 10:38Speaker 1: And that doesn't always go away. Right. Yeah.
- 10:41Speaker 3: But there are bouts where you do feel stable and
- 10:44Speaker 3: you enjoy them at the time.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But not always.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Teddy, it's and it's like and everybody says we shouldn't
- 10:51Speaker 2: depend on somebody else. And it's not that I'm saying
- 10:53Speaker 2: I depend on somebody else.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Well, that's easy for someone else to say.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like but it's also and I don't know
- 10:59Speaker 2: if you've felt this way before, but like sometimes I'm
- 11:03Speaker 2: just like. Now what? Like how how do we get
- 11:08Speaker 2: to the next step? Like how is how do I
- 11:11Speaker 2: keep everybody happy? How do I keep myself stable? How
- 11:15Speaker 2: do I not let people know how afraid I am
- 11:17Speaker 2: of the future?
- 11:18Speaker 3: And well, you don't have to not let people know that.
- 11:23Speaker 3: You don't have to. And you just did speak about that.
- 11:27Speaker 3: So I think I hope that that makes you feel
- 11:29Speaker 3: a little better to get that off your chest.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it does. Because you shouldn't walk around with.
- 11:33Speaker 3: That because that's a that's normal to have to feel
- 11:37Speaker 3: that way until you pass that threshold of that, which
- 11:41Speaker 3: you will.
- 11:42Speaker 1: But that's a scary thing. Sure it is. Of course
- 11:44Speaker 1: it's scary. You've been through you've been through hell and back.
- 11:48Speaker 2: So, I mean, it's and then I'm, you know, I'm home.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I have the kids this morning doing we're doing a
- 11:53Speaker 2: special birthday thing because Edwin's with the kids tonight because
- 11:56Speaker 2: I've been with Slate for like 10 days straight. So
- 11:58Speaker 2: he's taking the kids for a birthday dinner. I'm seeing
- 12:01Speaker 2: the Valley guy who is going to get his very
- 12:03Speaker 2: first massage, by the way.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Oh, Jesus.
- 12:06Speaker 2: What do you mean? Like we're going to get massages.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I'm not giving it.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Fucking please.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I know I am sore from being at the horse show,
- 12:17Speaker 2: walking miles and miles every day. And I wanted a
- 12:20Speaker 2: massage and I asked him, have you ever had one?
- 12:23Speaker 1: And he was like, no, not by like couples massage.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Well, he doesn't even know this is happening. It's just
- 12:29Speaker 2: something I, I mean, it's like it. It's at Happy Feet.
- 12:34Speaker 2: It's not an expensive massage. They do a good job. Yeah.
- 12:37Speaker 3: By the way, I Googled Happy Feet the other day.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I don't know why it came up. I was looking
- 12:41Speaker 3: for my nails to get done.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Happy Feet.
- 12:43Speaker 2: It's a thing. Yeah.
- 12:44Speaker 1: It's a thing. So I spent the full day last
- 12:48Speaker 1: Sunday in a Happy Feet type place. I got a
- 12:53Speaker 1: lymphatic massage. I got the scalp rub. I felt like
- 12:57Speaker 1: a million dollars.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:59Speaker 3: And I think that If just for a second, Teddy,
- 13:03Speaker 3: before you walk through that door to get that happy
- 13:06Speaker 3: feet massage with Valley guy, is it in the same room?
- 13:09Speaker 1: You guys are going to be in the same room.
- 13:11Speaker 2: We are going to be in the same room. And,
- 13:12Speaker 2: but like, I don't even know, like, this isn't something
- 13:15Speaker 2: I'm sure he would ever want. And, but I wouldn't
- 13:17Speaker 2: mind paying for it. It's probably $ 47. Like, I don't
- 13:20Speaker 2: really care if he likes it or not. It's a day.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It's a night I need. You need it.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You're going to share with him, leave everything just at
- 13:29Speaker 1: the door, just for that hour. Just leave it out
- 13:32Speaker 1: the door.
- 13:33Speaker 2: How do I do that?
- 13:35Speaker 1: I know that you have a hard time with this.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I know you have a really hard time with this.
- 13:41Speaker 1: But just detach yourself from all of that. Give yourself
- 13:47Speaker 1: an hour.
- 13:48Speaker 3: And you could tell yourself you're going to start thinking
- 13:51Speaker 3: about it as soon as you're done. Yeah. But for
- 13:54Speaker 3: that hour, you're going to think about Valley Guy. You're
- 13:58Speaker 3: going to think about the hand.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Be in the moment. the hands on your back, the
- 14:04Speaker 1: way you feel, be relaxed, give it to yourself.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Oh, I love you so much. This is why I
- 14:10Speaker 2: tell you this kind of stuff because like you have
- 14:12Speaker 2: such good perspective and like you would get it. Like
- 14:16Speaker 2: you're like, you do need it. Like I haven't had,
- 14:18Speaker 2: I don't remember the last time I've gone and done that.
- 14:20Speaker 2: And I was like, I don't necessarily need to do
- 14:22Speaker 2: it by myself. And I don't like, Valley guy plans
- 14:27Speaker 2: all the other dates this day. I was just like,
- 14:29Speaker 2: can you come to me? And then I have the plans.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Like I want to do this.
- 14:32Speaker 1: That's kind of cute and enjoy it.
- 14:33Speaker 3: And, and you know, fake it till you make it
- 14:37Speaker 3: for that few couple hours. You can go back to
- 14:41Speaker 3: all the overthinking you want as soon.
- 14:42Speaker 1: As you're done.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay. Well, it's a temporary piece. It's temporary. Temporary.
- 14:50Speaker 3: I know you don't like to think about like, but
- 14:53Speaker 3: that's an easy, that's not hard to do. Knowing that
- 14:57Speaker 3: I can go back to all these things when I'm done.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 1: They're not going away.
- 15:03Speaker 2: That's very good advice for everybody listening, because we always
- 15:06Speaker 2: want to get a little ahead of ourselves. How have
- 15:09Speaker 2: you been? How's your crystal light?
- 15:13Speaker 1: It sucks, but I'm really trying. I'm really, really trying.
- 15:17Speaker 2: How have I been?
- 15:18Speaker 1: I've been okay.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I haven't been the happiest lately, Teddy. You know, I'm
- 15:22Speaker 3: just whatever.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I don't have a Diet Coke here right now because
- 15:27Speaker 3: I'm trying. I feel bloated.
- 15:30Speaker 2: And I love that you haven't looked up to see this.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I'm trying not to look. It was my dad's 80th.
- 15:37Speaker 3: And he gave a speech last night. You know, my
- 15:41Speaker 3: dad wanted 25 parties.
- 15:43Speaker 1: So they honored him at the PBA Bowl for his
- 15:46Speaker 1: role at 9-11 and how he ran the city, you know.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Two of the hijackers were from Patterson and, and he,
- 15:54Speaker 3: he had a lot going on. He, he was amazing.
- 15:56Speaker 3: My dad's first love was his job. And, you know,
- 16:00Speaker 3: it was so funny because as we're sitting there.
- 16:02Speaker 1: He's at the podium and he's talking and he gives
- 16:05Speaker 1: a speech and it was a nice speech.
- 16:06Speaker 3: It was actually appropriate. He didn't swear. He didn't say
- 16:09Speaker 3: anything terrible. And, but he didn't mention his family of that.
- 16:14Speaker 3: We were sitting right there.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Right. It was fine. I just wish he would have
- 16:17Speaker 1: like mentioned my brother or something.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Who does everything for him.
- 16:21Speaker 3: And then his birthday was last night at the restaurant.
- 16:24Speaker 3: My mother couldn't sit further from him. And the one
- 16:28Speaker 3: thing she said, he said in his speech, and it's
- 16:31Speaker 3: the first time he ever said it, he goes, I
- 16:33Speaker 3: have no regrets. We've heard him say he has no
- 16:35Speaker 3: regrets when he should have a few. But he said,
- 16:38Speaker 3: but I wish I was a better husband. And my
- 16:43Speaker 3: mother looked at, they don't live together anymore.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Oh, they don't? No, not for a long time, 20 years.
- 16:49Speaker 1: And he looked at, And my mother looked and said,
- 16:52Speaker 1: the fuck you could have been.
- 16:54Speaker 2: And that was it.
- 16:56Speaker 3: And she didn't care. She didn't feel any better that
- 16:59Speaker 3: he said it. But we were shocked that he said it.
- 17:02Speaker 1: You know, that was it. And he went back to
- 17:03Speaker 1: sit at the other side of the table. She's on
- 17:05Speaker 1: the other side of the room. And, you know, she
- 17:07Speaker 1: used to be crazy about my father. He was so handsome. Oh,
- 17:11Speaker 1: my God.
- 17:12Speaker 2: He was her everything.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Oh, my God. She was crazy for him.
- 17:17Speaker 2: But, you know, listen.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Now at the end of their life, they're, you know,
- 17:22Speaker 3: he lives somewhere, she lives somewhere, and we have to
- 17:24Speaker 3: take care of them. But anyway, that's a whole nother thing.
- 17:26Speaker 1: But it was nice. My dad was happy. He got
- 17:29Speaker 1: the birthday, you know, everything he wanted. And that was it.
- 17:32Speaker 1: And now we have the VRT world, the virtual reality
- 17:35Speaker 1: awards tonight.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Ooh, so you're getting all dolled up.
- 17:41Speaker 3: I'm going to, my hair's wet. I got it colored
- 17:43Speaker 3: this morning. I have glam coming as soon as I'm
- 17:45Speaker 3: done with you. I'm going to have to stuff myself
- 17:47Speaker 3: in a dress.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Well, that's fun.
- 17:53Speaker 2: You're going to have a fun night. You're going to
- 17:54Speaker 2: see a lot of people.
- 17:55Speaker 3: I'm going to say it's a lot of people going.
- 17:58Speaker 3: So Carol's up for the award.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Lala can't meet Teresa and Melissa.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 18:04Speaker 3: And there's a bunch of awards. All the it looks
- 18:07Speaker 3: like all the Rhode Island girls are in town.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I love that. Well, so we're going to have something
- 18:11Speaker 2: to recap once you go to that show.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Yes.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Can you tell me what I missed? Because I saw
- 18:17Speaker 2: I really when I'm out of town and I'm at horses,
- 18:20Speaker 2: I really like check out from the world of Bravo
- 18:24Speaker 2: in the world of social media. But I came back
- 18:26Speaker 2: and I saw that you had gotten yourself into a
- 18:29Speaker 2: little bit of a pickle. I'm wondering what it was.
- 18:33Speaker 1: What did I? Why?
- 18:34Speaker 3: Because I said what happens behind the scenes that they
- 18:36Speaker 3: didn't air on the.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah. So what did you say? Am I in trouble? No.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Something about Aaron versus Dorinda. I don't know. I don't
- 18:45Speaker 2: know any of this. So I'm like coming back and
- 18:47Speaker 2: I'm like, hold on. Is the fire on Dolores Dolo?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Look what you've.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Done to me.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I could have shut my mouth, probably shut up at
- 18:56Speaker 1: this point. I don't know.
- 18:58Speaker 3: And so anyway, there was this whole big thing. So
- 19:03Speaker 3: Dorinda was saying a speech at the end of the party.
- 19:06Speaker 3: She hosted us in her beautiful home. She made it
- 19:09Speaker 3: nice as she does. And, you know, she was like
- 19:14Speaker 3: there was fireworks at the end, as you saw. But
- 19:16Speaker 3: leading up to the fireworks, Dorinda was giving like a speech,
- 19:21Speaker 3: the end of the night speech.
- 19:23Speaker 1: And she said she speaks so well. And it was
- 19:26Speaker 1: almost like Aaron was drinking and she was kind of
- 19:29Speaker 1: heckling her. All right, let's go. You don't say that
- 19:32Speaker 1: to Dorinda.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Right. Clip clip. Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But so Dorinda looked at her and said, excuse me.
- 19:39Speaker 1: And then.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I thought that Erin wasn't going to say it again,
- 19:42Speaker 3: but Eric said it again, let's fucking go.
- 19:45Speaker 1: And that was all she, we all know, like I,
- 19:50Speaker 1: like everybody went. And then she got a, you know,
- 19:57Speaker 1: she got her ass handed to her by Dorinda.
- 20:01Speaker 2: So why are you going viral? Because I'm, I'm the one.
- 20:05Speaker 1: That repeated it because nobody, if you weren't there, you
- 20:08Speaker 1: didn't see it. They didn't air it. I don't know
- 20:10Speaker 1: why they didn't air it. It was, you know, it
- 20:14Speaker 1: was amazing.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I can't believe they didn't air it either. It sounds amazing.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I think they should do like some behind the scenes
- 20:22Speaker 3: because there was so much going on. So Marisol, Dorinda
- 20:26Speaker 3: and Camille all weighed in and confirmed it.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Yeah. So, I mean, you have a team of people
- 20:33Speaker 2: behind you confirming that what you said is accurate. But
- 20:37Speaker 2: you're still viral. And I was so proud of you
- 20:39Speaker 2: in my absence for you to go there.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Well, you're rubbing off. You're going to definitely get me.
- 20:48Speaker 2: One day I'm waiting.
- 20:49Speaker 1: For the big bomb.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Well, it's not going to happen tonight. Recapping Real Housewives
- 20:56Speaker 2: of Orange County, episode 13.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Well, you were there.
- 21:01Speaker 3: And since in ode to you, I talked about what
- 21:04Speaker 3: wasn't aired. So you promised that you were going to
- 21:08Speaker 3: give us some tea on what happened that we didn't see.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Yeah. So what I want you to do first, we're
- 21:12Speaker 2: going to break down what happened prior to it. But
- 21:14Speaker 2: then once we get to the Venus CBD event, I
- 21:17Speaker 2: want you to ask me questions because I watched the
- 21:20Speaker 2: episode two times. And I still do not understand it
- 21:25Speaker 2: because it's not it's not what I where I was like,
- 21:29Speaker 2: that's not how it felt to me. Okay. And granted,
- 21:33Speaker 2: I'm not even in.
- 21:34Speaker 1: This first step. Like, you see me for a second, like,
- 21:36Speaker 1: ha ha ha.
- 21:37Speaker 2: And giving a kiss. But, like, I don't know. Like,
- 21:42Speaker 2: it just, I mean, maybe more will air this next
- 21:45Speaker 2: week or this coming Thursday.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a continuation of the party. So here's what
- 21:49Speaker 1: we're going to do. We'll recap. And why don't we,
- 21:54Speaker 1: I don't want to ruin it for next week.
- 21:57Speaker 2: No, we'll talk about exactly where we are in the moment.
- 22:13Speaker 2: okay we start out emily shannon and gina sit for
- 22:17Speaker 2: lunch and emily shares that she and shane are struggling
- 22:20Speaker 2: in their.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Marriage shocker we know this i love that immediately gina's
- 22:25Speaker 1: like do you want to move out let me show
- 22:29Speaker 1: you some rentals please give me some rentals Just being
- 22:33Speaker 1: a friend. But wait, in New Jersey, because you know
- 22:37Speaker 1: I'm a realtor.
- 22:38Speaker 3: In New Jersey, the person looking for the home has
- 22:42Speaker 3: to pay the commission to the realtor, not the person.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Renting the home.
- 22:46Speaker 3: So does that mean Gina would charge Emily? I don't
- 22:49Speaker 3: charge my friends for anything.
- 22:51Speaker 1: No, stop it, Teddy. Gina's going to charge Emily.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Well, she's going to charge her in social media TikToks.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Well, then they're even already because they've done enough TikToks.
- 23:03Speaker 1: For a long time. And a lot of things.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And then, you know, so this happens. We're seeing the
- 23:11Speaker 2: tension between Shane and Emily. We know it's there. We
- 23:16Speaker 2: feel like it's partly about the kids. I feel like
- 23:18Speaker 2: it's also when I had a big change in my,
- 23:24Speaker 2: you know, physical confidence. A parent. Okay.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Explain this to me.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So this was... between husband one and husband two. Okay. Granted,
- 23:36Speaker 2: I'm now finishing up with husband two. So I'm really,
- 23:39Speaker 2: you know, come to me for marital advice.
- 23:42Speaker 1: And that's who I would come to because you know why, Teddy?
- 23:45Speaker 1: You learn from mistakes.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:48Speaker 3: You don't learn from being totally married to the same
- 23:51Speaker 3: person for 25 years. I'm not going to your friend
- 23:53Speaker 3: from the horse show to ask her for advice.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I'm not doing it.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Yeah. So, I mean, there was a part of me
- 24:11Speaker 2: in between Matt and Edwin where I got, like, very
- 24:16Speaker 2: confident and very comfortable. And I was feeling myself. And
- 24:19Speaker 2: I kind of felt like, like, I remember that first
- 24:23Speaker 2: minute of Edwin seeing me and me knowing, like, of course, like,
- 24:26Speaker 2: this is, he's going to be into me. But it
- 24:29Speaker 2: happened to me again once I had kids. And you know, my, my,
- 24:35Speaker 2: I went through like a bunch of weight gain, miscarriages,
- 24:38Speaker 2: all of these different things. And then when I started
- 24:40Speaker 2: all in by Teddy, you know, which everyone loves to
- 24:43Speaker 2: tease me about.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I used to watch you put the carrots on the kids' plates.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Yeah. All the things. Like when I started all of that,
- 24:50Speaker 2: I changed my life again. And then I got more
- 24:52Speaker 2: confidence and now it's kind of gone away again. So like,
- 24:55Speaker 2: I feel that way that Emily has felt before.
- 24:59Speaker 3: So I've, There's been times in my life where I've
- 25:04Speaker 3: looked like really good and worked out, but I've never
- 25:08Speaker 3: felt that way.
- 25:11Speaker 2: See, I go through stages like right now. I couldn't
- 25:14Speaker 2: feel less that way. But like before brain tumor, Teddy,
- 25:19Speaker 2: I was really feeling that way. Like I was like,
- 25:21Speaker 2: I feel great. Like you feel like cocky. So you
- 25:24Speaker 2: feel like cocky towards the person you're with? Like, yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 2: not even cocky, but like, what is it?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Explain this to me.
- 25:30Speaker 2: It's not cocky. It's I've been doing this for 17 years.
- 25:37Speaker 2: And I've been stepping down to you. And now I
- 25:40Speaker 2: am in a place where I'm filming nonstop. I'm working nonstop.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I have a podcast. It's very successful. You get to
- 25:49Speaker 2: a point where you're feeling yourself. And you're no longer
- 25:52Speaker 2: going to bow down to the other person.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Amazing.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Well, that other person should have never made you feel
- 25:59Speaker 3: like you were doing that. But maybe you made yourself
- 26:01Speaker 3: feel like that.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I'm sure I made myself feel like I'm doing that.
- 26:04Speaker 2: But I see what's happening with them there is like,
- 26:07Speaker 2: because he's kind of acting like, oh, when he goes like, oh, Emily,
- 26:11Speaker 2: you know, is going to go hang with her friends.
- 26:13Speaker 2: And we know what Emily's doing. Emily's filming a television show.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Right.
- 26:17Speaker 3: No, this is when they're feeling themselves. And they want
- 26:21Speaker 3: to feel like what they look so good. It's like
- 26:24Speaker 3: they want to because I've seen it with my friends.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Like they feel like so good about themselves. They want
- 26:30Speaker 3: to feel like.
- 26:32Speaker 2: What you want to do when you're equal.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I've never felt that.
- 26:37Speaker 2: But I mean, even when you are doing the worst
- 26:40Speaker 2: of things, you're not feeling like you're with your equal.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You're just getting a dopamine rush. You're having some sort
- 26:46Speaker 2: of mental lowness. And then all of a sudden you're
- 26:49Speaker 2: having a high and you're like, I like this feeling.
- 26:51Speaker 2: I want to keep feeling like this. And so I
- 26:53Speaker 2: don't care what I have to do to keep getting
- 26:55Speaker 2: this feeling. And it's not going to be drugs. So
- 26:57Speaker 2: let's figure this out. So that's why men cheat too then. Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 2: That's it. That's it. So I just opened the box
- 27:04Speaker 2: for you right there.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Laid it out. But yeah, no, like so she's feeling herself.
- 27:11Speaker 1: He's feeling insecure now because she looks so good.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 1: She looks really good. And yeah, they got they better
- 27:20Speaker 1: get a handle on that.
- 27:21Speaker 2: It's not it's not looking good because it's not Teddy.
- 27:26Speaker 2: But then I get confused because then I watch their podcast.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Then I listen to their podcast. And they have such
- 27:31Speaker 2: good banter. They do.
- 27:35Speaker 3: But banter, good banter is amongst friends too. Like me
- 27:40Speaker 3: and you. Not amongst a couple who's intimate. Not amongst
- 27:44Speaker 3: a couple who feels for each other or loves each other,
- 27:48Speaker 3: wants to physically be with each other. True.
- 27:51Speaker 2: And I think they're just, they're hitting one of those
- 27:53Speaker 2: spots where like, he feels like he's doing all the
- 27:56Speaker 2: home stuff and she's out there living her best life.
- 27:59Speaker 2: And she, for once in a long time, Feels like,
- 28:02Speaker 2: and I'm also looking like I'm living my best life.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Then we get to Tamara and Vicky getting Prunuvo scans. Vicky,
- 28:09Speaker 2: of course, is doing some work in the waiting room.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I'm certain that Vicky like waited outside of Prunuvo scans
- 28:16Speaker 2: and was like yelling at people before they came in.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And she's like, do you have your life insurance before
- 28:22Speaker 2: you get this scan?
- 28:23Speaker 1: She really liked this.
- 28:25Speaker 3: She really liked, but then wait, but did you notice
- 28:28Speaker 3: like she's on her computer and she's like, Just did
- 28:30Speaker 3: another email I'll probably never send.
- 28:33Speaker 2: She's like, oh, I got another one. Put it in
- 28:35Speaker 2: the drafts.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Just put it in the drafts.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 1: You know what? Is she one of those ones that
- 28:42Speaker 1: looks busy but really isn't?
- 28:44Speaker 2: I don't know because I can't.
- 28:46Speaker 3: I know men with very successful businesses and they don't
- 28:51Speaker 3: do that.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Like right now, I feel my leg buzzing because my
- 28:55Speaker 2: phone's ringing. Meanwhile, I know it's of nothing of importance.
- 28:59Speaker 2: That can't wait.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Because like my kids get a special ringtone. So I
- 29:03Speaker 2: know it's not them.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Got it. Got it. Yeah.
- 29:07Speaker 2: No, listen, life is what you make it.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 29:10Speaker 3: So if you want to be busy, you're busy.
- 29:15Speaker 1: If you don't.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but she says and she's already even talking to
- 29:20Speaker 2: the receptionist and she's like, oh, you know, I just
- 29:22Speaker 2: got to catch up on this. Tamara walks out. She
- 29:25Speaker 2: can barely be bothered to look up to say hi
- 29:27Speaker 2: to Tamara.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Now, wait a second. I have to ask you something.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Did you bow out of that or something?
- 29:36Speaker 2: What happened?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Tamara said you didn't get it done. You said you did.
- 29:40Speaker 1: one time. Okay.
- 29:40Speaker 2: So about five years ago, I got it done.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Like when Pernuvos first came out, I don't know. I
- 29:47Speaker 2: don't want to say an actual date because I don't know,
- 29:50Speaker 2: but it was in 2022. I got it done and
- 29:53Speaker 2: it showed nothing. But then Tamara and I, it was,
- 29:56Speaker 2: I mean, to be perfectly honest, it's a paid post.
- 30:00Speaker 2: And we were set to go back probably about six
- 30:04Speaker 2: months before I ended up in the hospital.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 30:07Speaker 2: And I, for some reason, I wasn't feeling like I
- 30:10Speaker 2: could do it. Tamara went and did it and I
- 30:13Speaker 2: did not.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Got it. Okay.
- 30:16Speaker 2: And so it just, you know, maybe it was foreshadowing.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Maybe I wasn't ready to find out the truth of
- 30:23Speaker 2: what was happening with me. Maybe, you know.
- 30:26Speaker 1: You just didn't feel it going.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I didn't feel like going. I was like, oh, I
- 30:29Speaker 2: don't care about getting paid for that. I'm not going.
- 30:31Speaker 2: And then, you know, come to find out months later,
- 30:33Speaker 2: I have multiple brain tumors in my brain that if
- 30:36Speaker 2: I would have found out then, probably would have put
- 30:39Speaker 2: me in a completely different situation than I'm in now.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Wow. Okay.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I just went, by the way. I had to take
- 30:45Speaker 3: a Xanax to lay down and get in there. And
- 30:49Speaker 3: didn't get the... No, I have major claustrophobia.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:54Speaker 1: So for anyone... Tamara took three pills to get in.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I took two.
- 30:59Speaker 3: So for anybody who has claustrophobia, so you know, I mean,
- 31:07Speaker 3: I couldn't even put my legs in there unless I
- 31:09Speaker 3: was medicated.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 1: But it was worth it. I mean, would you suggest
- 31:14Speaker 1: to go?
- 31:15Speaker 2: I would suggest to go. I think there's multiple different
- 31:18Speaker 2: variations of a prenuvo scan now. I've seen different companies that,
- 31:23Speaker 2: you know, where they have like a specialist, That are
- 31:26Speaker 2: oncologists that come and talk to you and all of
- 31:27Speaker 2: these things. I wish I like at this point, I
- 31:31Speaker 2: would even go now, even though at this point I've
- 31:33Speaker 2: now had every test there is. I'm like, oh, so
- 31:36Speaker 2: I'm still good with more info. Give me more info.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:39Speaker 3: So I went and I and I love it. I
- 31:42Speaker 3: went for the second time. And I would go again
- 31:45Speaker 3: and I will go again.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I think it was smart, but what
- 31:48Speaker 2: I was a little bit, you know, I was trying
- 31:50Speaker 2: not to take this personally, but at the beginning, you know,
- 31:54Speaker 2: Tamara is talking about me. So she's saying, you know,
- 31:57Speaker 2: like I, you know, was supposed to go with Teddy
- 32:02Speaker 2: and then she didn't go. And then she had brain,
- 32:04Speaker 2: you know, brain tumors and cancer had metastasized to her
- 32:07Speaker 2: brain and all these things, you know, she doesn't talk
- 32:09Speaker 2: about it too much, but then we get to Vicki and,
- 32:12Speaker 2: And Vicky's brain scan shows increased white spots. And she
- 32:17Speaker 2: asked the doctor, is this an increase in me having
- 32:21Speaker 2: dementia or any of these? And he says no. So
- 32:27Speaker 2: then why are we so upset?
- 32:30Speaker 1: But so what's the white spot?
- 32:31Speaker 2: She's saying she has brain damage. But he didn't say that.
- 32:35Speaker 1: He didn't.
- 32:36Speaker 2: And he didn't say that. And when we see Tamara
- 32:39Speaker 2: talking about it with the other girls... She she doesn't
- 32:43Speaker 2: really say that either. She says what was said by Vicky,
- 32:47Speaker 2: not what was said by the doctor.
- 32:50Speaker 1: But devil's advocate here.
- 32:53Speaker 2: OK, always got to.
- 32:56Speaker 1: She shouldn't have repeated it. She yeah, she should not
- 32:59Speaker 1: to repeat it.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Was she asked not to repeat it? I mean, well,
- 33:03Speaker 2: Vicky did do it on camera. She did do it
- 33:05Speaker 2: on camera.
- 33:07Speaker 3: But we can go back to Miami when. Gertie asked
- 33:14Speaker 3: Larsa not to repeat it.
- 33:16Speaker 2: And she did. But that was a different situation. Gertie
- 33:20Speaker 2: had cancer. Right now, there's nothing wrong with Vicky. There's
- 33:28Speaker 2: nothing wrong with her. She had a very.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Like, Vicky told her not to repeat that she had
- 33:35Speaker 1: brain damage.
- 33:36Speaker 2: But the doctor never said she had brain damage!
- 33:39Speaker 1: She said it!
- 33:41Speaker 3: You're acting like her now. But she had another conversation
- 33:46Speaker 3: with the doctor. She said that they were going to
- 33:49Speaker 3: have a call. Anyway, she's worried about herself.
- 33:55Speaker 2: We haven't seen it. We have not seen a medical
- 33:58Speaker 2: professional tell her that she has brain damage.
- 34:00Speaker 3: So fast forward, Vicky finds out at the party, but
- 34:04Speaker 3: we're not there yet. First we get Heather. Speaking of
- 34:08Speaker 3: brain stuff, then we get Heather and.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I'm emotional with Terry talking about Terry's mother who has dementia.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Dementia.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Or Alzheimer's, I'm not sure. But she's not happy where
- 34:20Speaker 2: she lives. You see, you know, they're talking about how
- 34:23Speaker 2: they grew up both in broken families.
- 34:26Speaker 3: No, Heather's family wasn't broken. His was a single mother.
- 34:31Speaker 3: But she grew up in a family where they were
- 34:33Speaker 3: very hard on you. You could tell her mother was
- 34:35Speaker 3: hard on her.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Yeah. So, you know, this conversation, it made me emotional.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Her mom still is. Yeah, her mother still is. So
- 34:56Speaker 1: you can only imagine growing up in that. My mother
- 35:00Speaker 1: wasn't hard on me. She never said, take a shower,
- 35:04Speaker 1: brush your hair, nothing like that.
- 35:08Speaker 2: That's just hygienics.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but no, like you were on your freaking own.
- 35:13Speaker 1: In my house.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Nobody was telling you to achieve more. My father used
- 35:17Speaker 1: to be like, if you have to cheat, just fucking
- 35:20Speaker 1: pass already. What's wrong with you?
- 35:21Speaker 2: And don't get caught.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Don't get caught.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Like, this was like, it was survival over there in
- 35:27Speaker 3: the Spagnola house. But, you know, Heather, it's funny because
- 35:33Speaker 3: I could kind of relate to this.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Her sister was labeled smart. She was labeled talented.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Right?
- 35:41Speaker 3: And Terry just wanted a family. So when they have
- 35:46Speaker 3: this conversation, it's funny in the housewives world, how we
- 35:51Speaker 3: all go through and talk about what manifests as adults
- 35:54Speaker 3: of what we went through when we were kids.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 2: But I felt like this felt like a very authentic
- 36:00Speaker 2: moment between the two of them.
- 36:01Speaker 1: It was, it was, it was really nice.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Yeah. And I was like, and they both, you know,
- 36:06Speaker 2: you could see the love they have for each other.
- 36:08Speaker 1: It, Yeah.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Doesn't look like there's going to be a three part
- 36:12Speaker 2: series on divorce. No three part series here.
- 36:14Speaker 1: No, I'd be shocked. This would be that would shock
- 36:17Speaker 1: me here.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Yeah. So I heard it somewhere else.
- 36:20Speaker 1: And I'm going to be shocked when the other two
- 36:23Speaker 1: broke up.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I wasn't shocked. I wasn't shocked. But it was a
- 36:30Speaker 2: nice moment. But then we get to Emily's mother in
- 36:32Speaker 2: law throwing a Persian themed party. You know, the party
- 36:35Speaker 2: looks great. They're walking in on the red carpet, dress lady,
- 36:39Speaker 2: which I was like, I could totally see Dolores rocking this.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I hate getting dressed, much less having my dress be
- 36:50Speaker 1: the red carpet.
- 36:54Speaker 3: But listen, if Housewives ends for me, there's a lot
- 36:57Speaker 3: of jobs I'm qualified for and you might be on
- 37:00Speaker 3: to something.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I feel dress wear for the carpet. Where people just
- 37:05Speaker 2: walk right up on me.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Walk all over me. That is par for the course. Yes,
- 37:12Speaker 1: that you're right. That does. That is a very fitting
- 37:15Speaker 1: job for me.
- 37:16Speaker 2: You know, I think you would be great. You would
- 37:18Speaker 2: really you would shine at it. It would be like
- 37:20Speaker 2: being a Golden Globe.
- 37:22Speaker 1: That's fine. How about I'd be in the diamond and
- 37:24Speaker 1: pour in the champagne? Yeah.
- 37:27Speaker 2: You know what? I want to be in the diamond
- 37:28Speaker 2: pouring the champagne.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I love when I.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Love when I Emily's like, look, she also pours champagne
- 37:36Speaker 2: like it's like, I know, like a fake thing. Like
- 37:39Speaker 2: it's this is actually a woman we're speaking about. And
- 37:41Speaker 2: I thought the same thing. I thought the same thing. Oh,
- 37:45Speaker 2: my God.
- 37:46Speaker 1: But sorry, dog. I scared dog. But no, but there's.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Yeah, like this is an actual human person we're talking about.
- 37:54Speaker 2: She's not like, look, you're also a drink.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It pours drinks. It like. Sometimes the housewives, they just
- 38:02Speaker 1: drive me nuts. But funny. It's funny.
- 38:07Speaker 3: I want to look like the girl walking around in
- 38:09Speaker 3: the red jeweled, bejeweled nude onesie.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's who I want to be.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Listen, if I look like that, my shit would be
- 38:19Speaker 1: owning that house.
- 38:20Speaker 2: I'd be fine to be pouring the champagne.
- 38:24Speaker 1: If I look like that, I think I'd just be happy.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I'd be happy too. I mean, we'd
- 38:30Speaker 2: be momentarily happy.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I don't know. I'd be very happy to look like that.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Well, then Heather chooses to be, and then this is
- 38:38Speaker 2: in quotes, and you're going to have to help me
- 38:40Speaker 2: because I'm confused, fake as fuck to Vicky at the party,
- 38:44Speaker 2: being that she was told what Vicky said about her.
- 38:48Speaker 2: I was a little bit lost here. So why, this
- 38:53Speaker 2: is a housewife show.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Why are you going to be fake? Why don't you
- 38:56Speaker 1: just go for it? Vicky called Heather fake on their
- 39:00Speaker 1: group trip.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Oh, Heather was after the fact. Yes.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Like this is retribution for Vicky saying. But, you know,
- 39:11Speaker 3: they do a flashback and they don't say that Vicky
- 39:14Speaker 3: actually said she was fake. She said that we really
- 39:17Speaker 3: don't get to know her.
- 39:19Speaker 2: But that's what Vicky switches it into. But originally, Tamara
- 39:22Speaker 2: had told Heather what Vicky said, which was not we
- 39:25Speaker 2: don't get to know Heather. Right, so Tamara played bad telephones. No,
- 39:30Speaker 2: Tamara gave good telephone. Vicky is manipulating it into something else.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Vicky saying, what do you mean? I just said, it's
- 39:38Speaker 2: the same way. She's like about Carmela. She's like, I
- 39:41Speaker 2: wasn't saying it was a bad thing that her boyfriend's
- 39:44Speaker 2: raising her children. Yeah.
- 39:46Speaker 1: She's like, Me and my husband used to raise the
- 39:48Speaker 1: kids together. But that's not what you said about Carmela.
- 39:52Speaker 1: You said the boyfriend. You didn't say they're raising the
- 39:54Speaker 1: kids together.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Yeah, no. So she did call Heather fake. But so
- 40:00Speaker 2: Tamara was able what did pass that information along properly.
- 40:04Speaker 2: But now Vicky's saying, well, I didn't say she was fake.
- 40:07Speaker 2: I'm just saying we didn't get to know her well.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Am I confused? Didn't Mike go with her to the party?
- 40:14Speaker 2: No, he went to the other party. No, he went
- 40:18Speaker 2: to the Vena CBD party.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Okay, I'm sorry.
- 40:21Speaker 2: You're allowed to have moments if not. Thank you.
- 40:25Speaker 1: You're allowed.
- 40:27Speaker 2: But then what about when Carmela ditches her monster energy
- 40:30Speaker 2: drink into a plant? I'm like, the poor plant hasn't
- 40:32Speaker 2: fucking slept since.
- 40:34Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I wouldn't be showing up. First of all, I've never
- 40:40Speaker 3: drank a monster or a Red Bull in my life.
- 40:43Speaker 3: It looks like it sucks. It looks like it makes
- 40:45Speaker 3: your throat scratchy. Like, I'm not into that. I'm not
- 40:48Speaker 3: into those drinks. I don't think they're good for you.
- 40:51Speaker 3: I don't like them.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I'll take the Diet Coke, though.
- 40:53Speaker 2: But also her bringing it into the party. Like, I
- 40:56Speaker 2: get bringing in.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Come on, leave it in the car.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Just leave it in the car. You're going to be
- 41:00Speaker 2: in the same car on the way home.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I've been trying to drink this all day, okay? I
- 41:03Speaker 1: usually leave it.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Listen, I haven't. I've been drinking this for 18 minutes.
- 41:07Speaker 2: And you know what? I'm done.
- 41:08Speaker 1: And now I'm going to have to move. How is
- 41:09Speaker 1: that even any less?
- 41:10Speaker 2: So I.
- 41:11Speaker 1: will tell you this will take me all day to drink.
- 41:15Speaker 3: But if I was showing up somewhere, even though I
- 41:18Speaker 3: have so much left, I'm leaving it in the car.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Leaving it in the car. Well, maybe, of course, then
- 41:23Speaker 2: I go to immediate, like, I wonder why Carmela would
- 41:26Speaker 2: do it. And my thought process is, I bet they
- 41:28Speaker 2: don't serve whatever that monster drink is.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Whatever her dinner is, the monster drink. Her breakfast, lunch,
- 41:38Speaker 3: and dinner in that one can.
- 41:40Speaker 2: But I think she's probably planning on having some beverages.
- 41:47Speaker 2: It's like my.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Insurer that I have to take for my bones. That's
- 41:51Speaker 1: her insurer. That's her meal. The monster drink. But he's
- 41:56Speaker 1: not eating what I'm eating for lunch. I have a
- 41:57Speaker 1: tuna fish bagel upstairs from Goldberg's.
- 42:00Speaker 2: I already had a bagel this morning. Cheers.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Cheers. We're so much alike.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I know, it's so bad. I love it. Then Jen
- 42:07Speaker 2: tells Tamara that Vicky's upset at for telling people that
- 42:11Speaker 2: she has brain damage. And Emily adds that Vicky considers
- 42:14Speaker 2: her friendship with Tamara toxic. Tamara says she loves Vicky
- 42:18Speaker 2: as a sister, but as a good person, nah.
- 42:23Speaker 1: You know, they both fairly talk about each other equally.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I was like, this is spoken like a true sister, actually.
- 42:31Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Like, did I not just see that?
- 42:34Speaker 1: You saw it too. I'm so glad that you saw
- 42:35Speaker 1: it too. Like, it's a love hate. Not a lot
- 42:40Speaker 1: of love, but I feel like would they be there
- 42:44Speaker 1: for each other in a bad pinch?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 42:49Speaker 1: It's a 19-year friendship. They have history.
- 42:52Speaker 2: They have history. They've worked together.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Tamara was there in the worst parts of Vicky's life,
- 42:57Speaker 1: and Vicky was there in the worst parts of Tamara's life.
- 43:00Speaker 1: They share it whether they like it or not.
- 43:02Speaker 2: They got fired together. They got hired together. That's a
- 43:04Speaker 2: big thing. Yeah, that's a big thing.
- 43:07Speaker 1: There's a lot of things they shared. New friendships be
- 43:11Speaker 1: what they may. You get close with this person. You
- 43:14Speaker 1: have no fights.
- 43:15Speaker 2: It's new.
- 43:16Speaker 1: You still can't beat a friendship that has history. Sorry,
- 43:19Speaker 1: you can't. Yeah, you can't.
- 43:21Speaker 2: But then Vicky attempts to do an Irish goodbye, but
- 43:23Speaker 2: Tamara walks out to discuss why Vicky's mad at her.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Vicky says she doesn't have brain damage and her health
- 43:29Speaker 2: issues are nobody else's concern. I get what Vicky is saying.
- 43:33Speaker 1: You're the one that said you had brain damage.
- 43:36Speaker 2: But, like, I never... This is coming from somebody who
- 43:40Speaker 2: has brain damage.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Like, I don't throw it around. No, I know.
- 43:46Speaker 1: It's not an off the cusp. I know, but she's...
- 43:49Speaker 1: Vicky is very performative.
- 43:52Speaker 2: But if it's nobody else's concern, don't get a body
- 43:56Speaker 2: scan on television.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Well, she didn't know what her brain was going to show.
- 44:00Speaker 3: The knee, the this, the that.
- 44:03Speaker 1: She's mad. She's working. She tells people to shut up.
- 44:07Speaker 2: You know.
- 44:08Speaker 3: It's always like something. But she she's been very I
- 44:16Speaker 3: feel like I'm going to tell you, I'm going to
- 44:18Speaker 3: tell you, I feel like she's goes around like her
- 44:24Speaker 3: feelings are her all the time.
- 44:25Speaker 1: And I feel like it's because of the way he
- 44:27Speaker 1: is with her. Sorry.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, because we see him later on
- 44:31Speaker 2: in the episode and you see the way that they're
- 44:33Speaker 2: talking and I've got a different vibe. But my favorite
- 44:36Speaker 2: part of this portion is the OC women decide that
- 44:40Speaker 2: they're in the middle of this Persian party where none
- 44:42Speaker 2: of them are dressed what they're supposed to be wearing,
- 44:45Speaker 2: or some of them are. Carmela's daughter is apparently dressed
- 44:47Speaker 2: in the right thing. Carmela's daughter is stuck with Heather's mom.
- 44:51Speaker 2: But then they start having a conversation about, oh, we
- 44:56Speaker 2: should go to Japan. As if it was like, I
- 44:59Speaker 2: should go get my nails done today.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Yeah, like, hey, that sounds like a good idea.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Japan. Japan.
- 45:05Speaker 1: That's just what I was thinking. Or maybe we could
- 45:08Speaker 1: just skip it and go to Happy Feet.
- 45:16Speaker 2: But like immediately we already see Carmela getting anxious about it.
- 45:20Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm wondering if she's anxious because she doesn't
- 45:22Speaker 2: know if she can bring Monster on the plane.
- 45:26Speaker 1: That's what it is. They don't sell Monster in Japan.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 1: It's banned, actually.
- 45:32Speaker 2: I bet she probably can't even pack it in her thing.
- 45:34Speaker 2: It's probably not suitable. The caffeine intake is probably higher
- 45:37Speaker 2: than that.
- 45:38Speaker 1: She's going to have to hide it.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:40Speaker 1: She's going to have to hide it in her booty.
- 45:43Speaker 1: In every crevice.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Housewife busted for smuggling and monster to Japan. We will.
- 45:55Speaker 3: When you used to strip search people, though, and you
- 45:58Speaker 3: make them squat and cough when they're naked, like, I'd
- 46:00Speaker 3: have to do that.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you'd have to do that. But then, you know,
- 46:05Speaker 2: we get to that. At this point, we're all pretending
- 46:07Speaker 2: Carmela's going to go on this trip, which we know
- 46:09Speaker 2: for a fact she doesn't.
- 46:12Speaker 1: And she's not.
- 46:13Speaker 2: She's already, you can tell she's anxious. I think she's
- 46:16Speaker 2: anxious about this guy, and she's also anxious about her diabetes.
- 46:19Speaker 1: You think she's anxious about leaving? Listen, go on the trip.
- 46:24Speaker 2: On a trip, shoot yourself up. If you don't mind
- 46:27Speaker 2: shooting yourself up with your diabetes through your t-shirt.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I never seen that in my life. And I take
- 46:34Speaker 1: that shot once a week.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Yeah. So I've never, I've never seen it, but anyways,
- 46:39Speaker 2: then Emily says life at home feels like reliving the
- 46:42Speaker 2: same nightmare, but Shane wants gratitude for everything he does
- 46:45Speaker 2: for the kids.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Does he get any, like, why don't we try giving
- 46:50Speaker 3: him something like, Shane's not telling her, hey, you.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Look so fucking hot these days. And she's not saying, hey,
- 46:57Speaker 1: you're a good dad. You're a good husband. Thanks for
- 46:59Speaker 1: being supportive at home so I could do what I
- 47:01Speaker 1: have to do. Like, you know what I'm saying?
- 47:05Speaker 2: Neither of them are giving each other... Like, words of
- 47:09Speaker 2: affirmation is not their thing right now.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I don't think it ever was. But here's the thing.
- 47:16Speaker 1: That's my love language. That's mine, too. I just... Throw
- 47:21Speaker 1: me a bone once in a while.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Tell me I look pretty. I'm also wondering who they're
- 47:24Speaker 2: making this charcuterie board for. The two of them are
- 47:27Speaker 2: going to eat it after this awkward conversation?
- 47:30Speaker 3: Well, then she, like, says, you know, she's like, oh,
- 47:33Speaker 3: the dog is... What did she say something about the dog?
- 47:39Speaker 3: The dog is letting her know somebody's at the door.
- 47:42Speaker 3: I don't know what it was, but she just couldn't
- 47:44Speaker 3: get out of there quick enough. She would have rather
- 47:46Speaker 3: set a bomb off than speak to him one more second.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Yeah, she was done. It's almost.
- 47:50Speaker 3: When they're not on their podcast and it's just the
- 47:52Speaker 3: two of them together in that kitchen, it's rough.
- 47:55Speaker 2: It's rough. It's hard. It's tense. You can cut the
- 47:58Speaker 2: tension with a knife or a monster. Then all the
- 48:02Speaker 2: ladies arrive at Tamara's being a TBD seltzer party. This
- 48:07Speaker 2: I find very exciting. Like I think think of all
- 48:10Speaker 2: the years that Tamara's been on. I don't know that
- 48:12Speaker 2: they've ever promoted her business.
- 48:14Speaker 3: And, you know, it's so funny because she recently just
- 48:17Speaker 3: said they've never promoted my business. And, you know, she
- 48:21Speaker 3: doesn't ask for it. She doesn't push for it. She's
- 48:24Speaker 3: just like, you know, she other people push for it.
- 48:29Speaker 3: And she's been a really good sport about it not
- 48:32Speaker 3: being promoted. But there was a part of her I
- 48:34Speaker 3: felt like that was fine with it, too.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Well, I think they had a party like this on
- 48:38Speaker 2: season 14 and then they didn't air it and they
- 48:40Speaker 2: fired her the next year. So I think it was
- 48:42Speaker 2: a little touchy.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Could have been.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Sure.
- 48:47Speaker 3: This hits a nerve, this party. But she had some
- 48:51Speaker 3: cast of characters there.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Cast of characters. But I want to make something very clear.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Please.
- 48:56Speaker 2: So something that's been repeated oftentimes is how production asked
- 49:01Speaker 2: all these housewives to be there. Yes.
- 49:04Speaker 1: This has been a thing for all of you who
- 49:06Speaker 1: don't know.
- 49:07Speaker 3: Teddy, I'm going to let you explain it because there
- 49:09Speaker 3: has been a thing on social media about who was
- 49:14Speaker 3: invited and the housewives being there, the former housewives of OC.
- 49:18Speaker 2: As if it was production. seeking us all out. I
- 49:21Speaker 2: can say this from personal knowledge. I attended that party
- 49:25Speaker 2: because Tamara asked me to go.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Right.
- 49:28Speaker 2: This was not a production asked me to do it.
- 49:30Speaker 2: There's something I do later on in the season that
- 49:32Speaker 2: production asked me to do. This was not that. This was...
- 49:37Speaker 2: Tamara going, will you come support Veena and show up?
- 49:40Speaker 2: And I said, yes.
- 49:41Speaker 1: And I brought two friends.
- 49:42Speaker 2: And it is what it is.
- 49:43Speaker 1: But like Peggy saying, I was asked to fly.
- 49:46Speaker 2: In for this, but couldn't make it. Looks like I
- 49:48Speaker 2: missed some good drama. Alexis is so thirsty.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Who asked Peggy to go?
- 49:53Speaker 2: No one. I mean, if anybody asked her, Tamara. But like, sorry,
- 49:59Speaker 2: I couldn't fly in for this. Like, who was going
- 50:01Speaker 2: to fly you? Tamara didn't, though. I mean, I guess
- 50:05Speaker 2: it was a joke, but like. I don't know.
- 50:10Speaker 3: It's somebody just trying to say they were a part
- 50:13Speaker 3: of something that maybe they weren't.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Well, you know what? Peggy, if you're listening, I'm sure
- 50:19Speaker 1: somebody will send this to you. Post who asked you
- 50:23Speaker 1: to go.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess. I mean, I guess it was a joke.
- 50:28Speaker 1: It could have been no one saying that you're lying.
- 50:31Speaker 1: No one's saying you're lying.
- 50:32Speaker 2: I think she's saying it was a joke. I mean,
- 50:35Speaker 2: either way. We get there, we get to see a
- 50:39Speaker 2: lot of new, we get to see a lot of faces,
- 50:41Speaker 2: past faces, new faces on past bodies.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Bronwyn was there.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Bronwyn was there. Her wife made me laugh. She was nice.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Because she goes, I've seen a lot about you on
- 50:50Speaker 2: the internet. And she goes, I'm probably worse in person.
- 50:57Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Then Heather tells Emily and Carmel that if Alexis Bellino
- 51:02Speaker 2: and John Jansen will be there and Emily wonders if
- 51:04Speaker 2: Shannon knows. Um, okay.
- 51:08Speaker 1: So I was there and had to figure this. Okay.
- 51:11Speaker 1: We want to hear this. We want to.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Okay. So this part, I do know for sure. Okay.
- 51:16Speaker 2: So then Heather brings up how she said on watch
- 51:19Speaker 2: what happens live that she was in a tough spot
- 51:21Speaker 2: regarding Alexis's wedding. Since she has two friends, since she's
- 51:25Speaker 2: close friends with Shannon and Alexis went on two teas
- 51:28Speaker 2: to say, Heather is feckless and a lacking character. I
- 51:31Speaker 2: still don't know what feckless means. Even when she said
- 51:34Speaker 2: it all the first time on the pod, I didn't know.
- 51:36Speaker 2: I did appreciate the two Ts and a pod being
- 51:38Speaker 2: on Bravo, though. Thank you. Thank you. I want to
- 51:43Speaker 2: also thank Bravo for including us on two different franchises
- 51:46Speaker 2: this year. Like, I feel like we've really made it.
- 51:49Speaker 2: But when this whole feckless thing happened and you see,
- 51:55Speaker 2: you know where all those women are kind of lined
- 51:57Speaker 2: up near the espresso machine? Yes. I am there. I
- 52:02Speaker 2: am right there. I am next to Shannon. We have no,
- 52:07Speaker 2: I'm in this conversation and it doesn't go down fully
- 52:10Speaker 2: like this. So I am.
- 52:11Speaker 1: So let's hear it. Since I gave up tea, I
- 52:14Speaker 1: want yours.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Well, I can't give up too much tea because I
- 52:18Speaker 2: don't know what's going to be shown next week. But
- 52:20Speaker 2: what I can say is the fact, the beauty of
- 52:23Speaker 2: editing and the beauty of that, like you would have
- 52:26Speaker 2: had no idea that I was in that. Also, you
- 52:28Speaker 2: film in a semicircle, like because they want to be
- 52:32Speaker 2: able to film all the different ends. but there were
- 52:35Speaker 2: certain things that were said to Shannon. There were certain
- 52:38Speaker 2: things that Shannon said to me, like there's all these
- 52:42Speaker 2: things that said, but didn't, I haven't seen yet. So
- 52:45Speaker 2: I don't know if it's coming later. I also saw
- 52:48Speaker 2: when Heather says that I was standing there when Heather
- 52:54Speaker 2: says that Alexis gave her a look. I don't feel
- 53:00Speaker 2: like I got a look. I was standing there too.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Okay. So you don't think that Alexis gave Heather a look?
- 53:08Speaker 2: I think Alexis just really did what she did. Because
- 53:12Speaker 2: for whatever reason, Alexis was waiting in that press line.
- 53:17Speaker 2: I did not wait in that press line.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I remember you talked about this.
- 53:21Speaker 2: I got there and I was like, fuck it, I'm
- 53:22Speaker 2: going in for the action.
- 53:24Speaker 1: They didn't show the press line.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Yeah, nobody cares. The only person that it mattered to
- 53:30Speaker 2: was Tamara, which I knew I was going to go
- 53:32Speaker 2: back in when it mattered. That's the part that I
- 53:36Speaker 2: didn't notice any sort of look. That was given to Heather,
- 53:41Speaker 2: but Heather's offended by this look. But meanwhile, what we
- 53:45Speaker 2: why we see her standing back there is she's not
- 53:48Speaker 2: it's not because she's avoiding Heather. She's waiting to walk
- 53:51Speaker 2: the press line for Tamara's event that she's at to
- 53:53Speaker 2: support Tamara.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Right, right.
- 53:57Speaker 3: Do you think Heather wanted to fight with Alexis because
- 54:00Speaker 3: of the whole. tour she went on with talking shit
- 54:03Speaker 3: about it because.
- 54:04Speaker 2: I think she was looking for something and you could,
- 54:07Speaker 2: I guess you could say it felt snubbed, but really
- 54:10Speaker 2: like I knew what that line was and I was like,
- 54:12Speaker 2: not going to stand in it. I, that's why I
- 54:14Speaker 2: was out of that line talking.
- 54:15Speaker 1: To those girls already.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Cause we all arrived around at the same time, but
- 54:19Speaker 2: I was like, I'm not going to sit seven deep
- 54:22Speaker 2: for this. I'll come back when it's later. It's not
- 54:24Speaker 2: the hotspot to give your, to fake drink your Venus
- 54:27Speaker 2: CBD and cheers it. Yeah. I'll do that later. But
- 54:32Speaker 2: she wanted to get it done then. But anyways, then
- 54:34Speaker 2: Shannon asked Carmela, Heather, and Jen if Alexis is coming.
- 54:38Speaker 2: And Carmela says she's loyal to Shannon, so that means
- 54:41Speaker 2: she has to dropkick an ex-housewife.
- 54:44Speaker 1: She will.
- 54:46Speaker 2: This is the second time Carmela has said she's going
- 54:48Speaker 2: to dropkick someone. And then doesn't.
- 54:50Speaker 1: I'm actually waiting.
- 54:51Speaker 2: I'm actually waiting. So, I mean, anyway, at this point,
- 55:06Speaker 2: you know, now Alexis is in there. She's in the
- 55:09Speaker 2: press line. She does the mwah, mwah, mwah. Heather says
- 55:12Speaker 2: she gives her a look.
- 55:14Speaker 1: But Heather maybe didn't see when she went mwah, mwah,
- 55:16Speaker 1: mwah because they show Heather turning her back at that time. Like,
- 55:20Speaker 1: Heather didn't see her go.
- 55:22Speaker 2: That mwah, mwah, mwah could have been to me because
- 55:24Speaker 2: I was standing there and I saw it.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I'm sure it was to you.
- 55:27Speaker 2: But I also was standing next to Heather, so I
- 55:29Speaker 2: don't know. But, like. Alexa walked in all worked up.
- 55:33Speaker 2: She walked in all worked up because she was on
- 55:36Speaker 2: the line. So she comes in and she storms out
- 55:39Speaker 2: because she gets upset. But at this point, there's nothing
- 55:42Speaker 2: really to storm out about. I feel like maybe she
- 55:44Speaker 2: just shouldn't have come. No, I don't think she was
- 55:48Speaker 2: ready for it. I don't think she was ready for it.
- 55:51Speaker 2: I think John Jansen is always ready for it.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Well, I have to say, the one thing I love,
- 55:57Speaker 3: and this is kind of unrelated to what's going on now,
- 56:00Speaker 3: but not really, is... This year, the banter among the
- 56:04Speaker 3: women against the guy that the friend doesn't like, like
- 56:09Speaker 3: the way they were talking about the guy when they
- 56:11Speaker 3: were at Carmela's pool party.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:14Speaker 1: When they went to her house and they were like, oh,
- 56:16Speaker 1: he cheated. And oh, like and they were like talking
- 56:19Speaker 1: shit about him right to his face. I love that camaraderie. Yeah,
- 56:22Speaker 1: I like it, too. Like Shannon's there.
- 56:24Speaker 2: And it's there. She doesn't look so right now. We
- 56:28Speaker 2: haven't got to a part where Shannon looks stressed.
- 56:30Speaker 3: She's not stressed. The women are like standing by her.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Carmel is kind of standing by her.
- 56:36Speaker 1: And I felt like she felt like a little empowered
- 56:38Speaker 1: by it.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it definitely in that moment, you know, we there
- 56:44Speaker 2: was busterings like people were talking about the fact how
- 56:48Speaker 2: Alexa stormed out and Tamara had to go get her.
- 56:51Speaker 2: That's what we knew. Right. But then she comes back
- 56:54Speaker 2: in and then we that will be scenes from next week.
- 56:57Speaker 2: And then that's when I can give you the real juice.
- 57:00Speaker 1: A week is too long. I can't do it.
- 57:02Speaker 3: That's why I don't like to watch series because I
- 57:05Speaker 3: have to wait a week.
- 57:06Speaker 2: So now we get to blame Dolores that this is delayed.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Wait, I can't do it from Africa? No, why not?
- 57:14Speaker 1: I'll bring my shit. I bring it everywhere. I don't
- 57:18Speaker 1: know what the time things are.
- 57:20Speaker 2: I mean, we don't even know what the time change is,
- 57:22Speaker 2: but we will be recapping it.
- 57:24Speaker 1: Oh, because I'm traveling that day.
- 57:26Speaker 2: Yeah, you're traveling that day.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Oh, shit.
- 57:30Speaker 2: But either way, we're not going to leave you guys hanging.
- 57:33Speaker 2: We're going to get to it just like we got
- 57:34Speaker 2: to this. So we're going to make sure we get
- 57:38Speaker 2: to it. You know, I guess Dolores is pretty big
- 57:40Speaker 2: time and has big time travels and can't always just
- 57:43Speaker 2: be there to recap on a moment's notice.
- 57:46Speaker 3: I mean, I do for the most part. But hey, listen,
- 57:49Speaker 3: sometimes you just can't. But, you know, my heart is here.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:53Speaker 1: You are my priority.
- 57:55Speaker 2: No, I love you. And I can say to finish
- 57:57Speaker 2: off this episode, I was very excited for Veena CBD.
- 58:00Speaker 2: I was very excited for Tamara. She looked very happy.
- 58:03Speaker 2: She looked so happy.
- 58:05Speaker 3: And I'm so glad that she got her flowers and
- 58:08Speaker 3: didn't get fired afterwards.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Yeah. And everybody and so many people did show up.
- 58:12Speaker 3: A lot of people showed up for her as they should.
- 58:15Speaker 3: You know, there's a lot to be said for Tamara
- 58:18Speaker 3: that the people that showed up for her.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because there are no one's being paid to.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Show up no and no one's being paid no and
- 58:24Speaker 3: it's it's hard to show up to an event after
- 58:29Speaker 3: you're not like there anymore not you because you're very
- 58:32Speaker 3: much a part of all of this but for the people.
- 58:34Speaker 1: That you know once they're gone they're really.
- 58:37Speaker 3: Yeah it's out of their life yeah it's out of
- 58:41Speaker 3: their life so.
- 58:42Speaker 2: I mean I think it's it's a good episode leading
- 58:44Speaker 2: us into next.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Week okay good and I'm excited and I'm still I've
- 58:50Speaker 3: been you've been hanging us on a string, Teddy, now
- 58:52Speaker 3: for like, I don't.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Know, because weirdly, I don't produce the show and I
- 58:57Speaker 2: don't know when it's coming and I don't know if
- 58:59Speaker 2: it's coming. I don't even know. What if it's not
- 59:03Speaker 2: even there? What if this big moment that I made
- 59:05Speaker 2: in my head is not shown? It doesn't matter because.
- 59:10Speaker 1: The big moment wasn't shown on, um, the finale of 20th, uh,
- 59:16Speaker 1: girl's trip, whatever you call it.
- 59:18Speaker 3: And we talked about it. So you're going to talk
- 59:20Speaker 3: about it. So I'm going to talk, there was a
- 59:22Speaker 3: big moment that I saw that I felt.
- 59:26Speaker 2: You know big moments.
- 59:28Speaker 1: We talk about them all the time.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Yeah. So like I'm aware I was standing there for
- 59:33Speaker 2: the big moment. I heard the big moment. I'm curious
- 59:36Speaker 2: what happens.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 59:37Speaker 2: But thanks guys for tuning in to another episode of
- 59:39Speaker 2: Two Teas in a Pod. We love you guys. Love you.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Make sure you send us reviews. You do all the things.
- 59:45Speaker 2: You get upset. You make Dolores go viral. You send
- 59:49Speaker 2: me compliments. You know, all the usual.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Bye, guys. Yeah, who's mad at me now?
- 59:56Speaker 2: Bye.
