  Speaker 5: not minding what risk those perspectives can bring. There are

  Speaker 5: just maintain a circumference of understanding. But the challenge with

  Speaker 5: that is that you will be effective, but you will

  Speaker 5: not be broad enough, you see. And so for Pastor

  Speaker 5: You know, sometimes ministers can have varying perspectives, but to

  Speaker 5: be able to aggregate everything, trusting the wisdom of the

  Speaker 5: speakers bringing several dimensions of truth and understanding as regards

  Speaker 5: this theme, but the Lord has placed it on my

  Speaker 5: heart to help us understand the kingdom and then understand
• 5:38
  Speaker 5: what it takes to truly manifest the kingdom, and these
• 5:43
  Speaker 5: will be my areas of focus today. For all through
• 5:46
  Speaker 5: my sessions. So our name for a topic manifesting the kingdom.

  Speaker 5: Manifesting the kingdom. This will be our first session. Two
• 5:55
  Speaker 5: verses very quickly. Daniel chapter 2 and verse 44. Daniel

  Speaker 5: chapter 2. And we'll begin our reading from verse 44.

  Speaker 5: And in the days of these kings shall God set.

  Speaker 5: The God of heaven set up a kingdom. which shall
• 6:13
  Speaker 5: never be destroyed. Someone say amen. Amen. And the kingdom
• 6:18
  Speaker 5: shall not be left to other people, but it shall
• 6:22
  Speaker 5: break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it
• 6:26
  Speaker 5: shall stand forever. Glory to the name of the Lord.

  Speaker 5: In Matthew chapter 6, where we get the theme for
• 6:34
  Speaker 5: the conference, so Jesus is, it's a series of discussion really,
• 6:38
  Speaker 5: began in chapter 5, what we know as the Beatitudes.

  Speaker 5: He began to introduce them to the culture of the kingdom.
• 6:46
  Speaker 5: And so he would contrast the way the heathen behaved
• 6:49
  Speaker 5: versus the way the kingdom expected people to behave. They
• 6:53
  Speaker 5: say this, but this is what I say, you know,
• 6:55
  Speaker 5: and all of that. And then when we get to
• 6:58
  Speaker 5: chapter 6, he now begins to teach them about prayer.

  Speaker 5: And now he says, in praying, pray after this manner,

  Speaker 5: our Father which art in heaven. I'm not teaching on
• 7:13
  Speaker 5: the prayer, but there's a lot to unpack there.

  Speaker 5: Number one, he says, when you pray, you must come

  Speaker 5: to the father. It's a relational thing. It's important that

  Speaker 5: he must be your father. It's from the word Abba, Pata.

  Speaker 5: It means my source, my sustainer, my defender, my protector.

  Speaker 5: You don't come to him having another plan B. Our father,
• 7:41
  Speaker 5: which is in heaven. Meaning faith will be required in

  Speaker 5: full stop there, but it's not a correct expression. It's

  Speaker 5: supposed to be your kingdom come. Then the next sentence

  Speaker 5: tells you how his kingdom comes. By your will being
• 8:14
  Speaker 5: done in earth as it is in heaven.

  Speaker 5: So let's look at this subject. I want to do

  Speaker 5: a little definition, if you do not mind. I like
• 8:25
  Speaker 5: to bring clarity as I teach. What exactly is kingdom?

  Speaker 5: For most believers, we have heard the concept, particularly among
• 8:34
  Speaker 5: the Pentecostal charismatic circles, but we're not able to articulate
• 8:38
  Speaker 5: with intelligence what the kingdom is all about. Now, the
• 8:42
  Speaker 5: concept of kingdom is not even a spiritual concept, or
• 8:46
  Speaker 5: would I say, it's not a religious concept. The concept
• 8:51
  Speaker 5: of kingdom is a governmental concept, meaning it is not
• 8:55
  Speaker 5: just privy to those in the faith. Are we together now?
• 8:58
  Speaker 5: Traditionalists understand kingdom, other hedonistic people, we have all kinds
• 9:02
  Speaker 5: of kingdoms around the world. And it's important we understand
• 9:06
  Speaker 5: that concept. And then we can connect it to many
• 9:10
  Speaker 5: other things we'll be discussing. So very quickly for a definition.

  Speaker 5: A kingdom is defined as a territory, any territory, where
• 9:21
  Speaker 5: the influence, where the value system, where the culture and
• 9:28
  Speaker 5: the will of the king is allowed to be exercised
• 9:32
  Speaker 5: without restraint. So a kingdom is defined as any territory where,
• 9:38
  Speaker 5: number one, the influence, number two, the value system, number three,
• 9:45
  Speaker 5: the culture, number four, the will of a king is
• 9:50
  Speaker 5: allowed to be exercised without restraint. This is a very
• 9:56
  Speaker 5: important definition. When you go to the kingdoms that are
• 9:59
  Speaker 5: around the world, they are not a democracy. The territory
• 10:03
  Speaker 5: reflects the value of a king. If the king is
• 10:05
  Speaker 5: a benevolent king, that energy will be all over his territory.
• 10:11
  Speaker 5: Are we together? It comes from two words, king's domain.
• 10:16
  Speaker 5: So the first word there is king, talks about the monarch,
• 10:19
  Speaker 5: and then the domain, where the king resides, and he
• 10:23
  Speaker 5: influences that domain with his influence, culture, value system, will.

  Speaker 5: If you understand me so far, shout amen. Amen. It's

  Speaker 5: very important that we lay that foundation so that when
• 10:36
  Speaker 5: you hear us talk kingdom, kingdom, kingdom, what we simply

  Speaker 5: mean is the governing influence of God, the governing influence

  Speaker 5: of heaven. Please, you may want to write that down.

  Speaker 5: So that anywhere you hear kingdom, we are simply talking
• 10:51
  Speaker 5: about the governing influence of heaven, the governing influence of
• 10:56
  Speaker 5: God at work in a life or at work in
• 10:59
  Speaker 5: a territory. I needed to put that, that that foundation

  Speaker 5: is very important. Now, the second thing I want to say,

  Speaker 5: there are two dimensions to kingdom come. And I think

  Speaker 5: with kingdom, or in its proper form, kingdom come, There

  Speaker 5: are two dimensions to it and this is what I

  Speaker 5: want to introduce in this session. So there is the

  Speaker 5: kingdom as a person. There is the kingdom personified in
• 11:46
  Speaker 5: the person Jesus. I'll do an overview and then in
• 11:51
  Speaker 5: maybe subsequent sessions we can take them in detail. But
• 11:55
  Speaker 5: it's important for you to know that the first dimension
• 11:59
  Speaker 5: of kingdom or kingdom come is as a person, Jesus. Hallelujah. Very,

  Speaker 5: very important. So if you understand my definition, the governing

  Speaker 5: influence of heaven, Jesus came as an embodiment. The Bible

  Speaker 5: says in Colossians chapter 1, would you give us 15?

  Speaker 5: Let's do 15 to 19. Colossians 1, 15 to 19.

  Speaker 5: Please look as I read. The Bible calls Jesus the

  Speaker 5: image of the invisible God. Are we Bible students? It

  Speaker 5: visible and invisible. Whether there be, help me, thrones, dominions, principalities, powers.

  Speaker 5: It now says, and he is before all things. And

  Speaker 5: head of the body, the church, who is the beginning

  Speaker 5: and the firstborn from the dead. That in all things

  Speaker 5: he might have preeminence. Shout 19 if you are a believer.

  Speaker 5: So Jesus is the fullness of the government, the fullness

  Speaker 5: Remember the father said, this is my beloved son in

  Speaker 5: whom I am well pleased. He was the logos of God.

  Speaker 5: Everything God was thinking, he was living it out. Is

  Speaker 5: someone learning now? Jesus as the kingdom. But there's a

  Speaker 5: second dimension of kingdom. There is the kingdom or kingdom

  Speaker 5: come as God's program, God's prophetic program. And it's important
• 14:51
  Speaker 5: to understand that dimension. So there is the person who
• 14:54
  Speaker 5: represents the kingdom, but there is the program called kingdom come. Now,
• 15:00
  Speaker 5: I needed to understand this concept because I'm about to
• 15:02
  Speaker 5: reveal to you something important. about the statement, thy kingdom come.

  Speaker 5: That statement is divided into two. If you are an unbeliever,

  Speaker 5: of Jesus. But there is the program. Now that's a mistake.

  Speaker 5: kingdom come as a program. You will celebrate the arrival

  Speaker 5: of the person. But never fulfill the agenda of the king.

  Speaker 5: Who is learning now? Are we together? So Jesus comes

  Speaker 5: into your heart. And for you. That statement as a
• 15:51
  Speaker 5: personal level. Thy kingdom come no longer holds. It's been fulfilled.

  Speaker 5: The kingdom came when you got born again. Now but
• 15:58
  Speaker 5: there is the program. And I'll be unveiling it to us.

  Speaker 5: Who is learning? Many times ministers choose one or the other.

  Speaker 5: So you can choose the presence of Jesus alone. And

  Speaker 5: now to receive it and you can say, well, there's

  Speaker 5: nothing to do again. And that kind of theology makes

  Speaker 5: an ineffective believer. Because, remember, we are saved to serve.

  Speaker 5: The word pleroma is what we use today in our
• 17:15
  Speaker 5: world today as headquarters. The headquarters or the center of activity.

  Speaker 5: So when the Bible calls him the fullness of God,

  Speaker 5: the Greek word there is pleroma. And it means the fullness.

  Speaker 5: In discussing kingdom come, it's important that your heart goes

  Speaker 5: straight to the issue of the salvation of men. Because

  Speaker 5: that is the official entry system into the kingdom. The

  Speaker 5: official recruitment system into the kingdom is not membership in church.

  Speaker 5: It's not being born by Christian parents. Salvation is the
• 21:27
  Speaker 5: authorized gateway. And so if you ignore salvation, it's impossible

  Speaker 5: to have people in the kingdom. Is someone learning now?

  Speaker 5: So the first dimension... is salvation. Number two, discipleship. The
• 21:42
  Speaker 5: second aspect of kingdom come is discipleship. The process that
• 21:48
  Speaker 5: makes men become like Christ in experience. The process that
• 21:52
  Speaker 5: transforms people. This is the transformative process and my goodness,
• 21:57
  Speaker 5: I hope one of the sessions will take that in

  Speaker 5: manifesting the kingdom the core of our discussion will be
• 22:04
  Speaker 5: on men because as you'll be learning manifesting the kingdom

  Speaker 5: absolutely depends on men is the business of god and
