- 0:00Speaker 1: Wow, everybody, it's another edition of the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
- 0:14Speaker 1: It's Being Your Man, m G. Marcus Grant joined by
- 0:16Speaker 1: Michael F. Florio and Lakwan Jones. We've made it to
- 0:19Speaker 1: Thanksgiving week. At this point, it's like the most wonderful
- 0:23Speaker 1: time of the year.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Absolutely. I mean I'm watching the holiday movies and shows
- 0:28Speaker 2: and stuff like that. I mean, it's that time of
- 0:29Speaker 2: the year and let's hold off. Christmas is not Christmas yet, folks, let'st.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I mean, there's things killing. But besides Thanksgiving movie.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Playing trains and automobiles, I guess I've lost the war
- 0:40Speaker 1: in my house. Home Alone has already aired.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Oh no, they started playing elfin like first week in November.
- 0:47Speaker 1: All I know is watching Home Alone every year I'm
- 0:49Speaker 1: reminded of how terrible the McAllister family is. All awful people.
- 0:54Speaker 3: And then the next year they just forget their kid
- 0:56Speaker 3: again again. Yeah. I hate Home Alone two one I like,
- 1:00Speaker 3: well biggest.
- 1:01Speaker 1: They were both kind of like a live action Tom
- 1:02Speaker 1: and Jerry cartoon.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Is really that is true, and so remake it though.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I think you should make I should I think you
- 1:09Speaker 1: should remake them. But Harry and Marv are like leftist
- 1:12Speaker 1: anti heroes who haven't eat the rich vibe to them.
- 1:15Speaker 1: That's just my opinion. Writ'st on that note. On that note,
- 1:20Speaker 1: let's get into the show. We got a lot to
- 1:22Speaker 1: do on the show, a lot to do on the
- 1:23Speaker 1: show today. We got starts and sits for week thirteen.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Plus we're going over every game on these Sunday and
- 1:29Speaker 1: Monday slate plus giving you our sleepers for the week.
- 1:33Speaker 3: So let's get started with some of these starts and sits.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Of course, you can see Michael Florio's analysis for all
- 1:38Speaker 1: of them on the interwebs at NFL dot com slash
- 1:41Speaker 1: start sit.
- 1:42Speaker 3: We'll start at the beginning with the quarterback position.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Who is your start?
- 1:46Speaker 3: Who are your starts? I should say, and who are
- 1:47Speaker 3: your sits? This week? I'm playing Joe Burrow. You've had
- 1:49Speaker 3: to wait this long. He threw for over eight hundred
- 1:51Speaker 3: yards and nine touchdowns and two games against the Ravens
- 1:54Speaker 3: last year. I'm playing Jackson Dart. You've had to wait
- 1:56Speaker 3: not as long as Joe Burrow, but you still have
- 1:58Speaker 3: had to wait. And he's averaged twenty three Fantasy points
- 2:00Speaker 3: per game as a starter in the pats of struggles
- 2:02Speaker 3: against the pass bo Nicks gets a fantastic matchup against
- 2:06Speaker 3: the Commanders here, I think he gets a big bounce
- 2:08Speaker 3: back opportunity, and then Jordan Love he excels against Man
- 2:11Speaker 3: and the Lions play Man at the highest rate. And
- 2:14Speaker 3: then my Brock party sit seemed a lot spicier until
- 2:17Speaker 3: he went out and he had a Nathan Peterman first half,
- 2:19Speaker 3: but I still think he tried to get away from
- 2:21Speaker 3: him against the Browns. I'm sitting Daniel jonesy. I don't
- 2:24Speaker 3: think you should play many quarterbacks against Houston Caleb Williams
- 2:28Speaker 3: because that Eagles defense is really Ben strong and now
- 2:31Speaker 3: it's starting to look like CJ. Stroud and he's the
- 2:33Speaker 3: more appealing name. But I'm sitting both Texans against the Colts.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I mean, look, I think Brock perty, as they said,
- 2:39Speaker 1: for multiple reasons. One because of the Browns too, because
- 2:41Speaker 1: it's supposed to be in the twenties and snowy potentially
- 2:44Speaker 1: in he is an Arizona guy.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Oh so he doesn't do well in cold.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Straight up from the desert where he is giant. He
- 2:53Speaker 1: did play his college ball at Iowa State, so maybe
- 2:56Speaker 1: think of it what you will for that.
- 2:58Speaker 3: But Miles Garrett though that's that's a big reason.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Also that a reason not to start brought through this week.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You are a bow Laver laquse, You're maybe the biggest
- 3:07Speaker 1: bowl leiaver of us all. This actually does seem like
- 3:10Speaker 1: a really good matchup for him.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah, coming out of du buy, hopefully you hit the
- 3:13Speaker 2: reset button they can get on track very early. I
- 3:15Speaker 2: do think this is a lay a matchup. You kind
- 3:17Speaker 2: of have your way with this commander's defense. Honestly, you
- 3:20Speaker 2: have QB one on the table. They have allowed eight
- 3:22Speaker 2: quarterbacks this season to put up high fantasy numbers. I'm
- 3:25Speaker 2: talking twenty burgers. So bow Knicks obviously having that rushing upside,
- 3:29Speaker 2: and we know he has the firepower by Franklin R. J. Harvey.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Hopefully we get him unlock coming out of the buy.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But there's a lot of opportunities that I think bow
- 3:37Speaker 2: Knick's going to have them in striking distance. So I'm
- 3:40Speaker 2: expecting big numbers this week from both.
- 3:42Speaker 1: One of my bold predictions for the week is that
- 3:44Speaker 1: maybe it's not even that bold, but that bo Knicks
- 3:46Speaker 1: throws three touchdown passes.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I can make it bolder and.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Say four if that makes you feel better, for sure,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I got to sleep all four touchdown passes for bow knicks.
- 3:53Speaker 1: That's my bold locketion for the week against the Commanders
- 3:56Speaker 1: coming up Onday, Sunday Night, Sunday Night Football tonight. Also
- 4:00Speaker 1: got the running back position here because one name that
- 4:04Speaker 1: is kind of a return, hopefully for fantasy managers. But
- 4:07Speaker 1: you're starts to sit at running back this year.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Lots of rookies, and while we're talking about Bowl prediction,
- 4:12Speaker 3: my first start running back is Trevion My Bowl prediction
- 4:15Speaker 3: is one hundred and fifty to two because Giants, Giants, Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 3: exactly Like I don't need to give you more examples,
- 4:20Speaker 3: and that O'marion Hampton. If he's back against the Raiders,
- 4:23Speaker 3: I think he is a must play. Travis Etn. We
- 4:26Speaker 3: all keep writing him off, but he just keeps getting
- 4:28Speaker 3: it done and he has a great matchup.
- 4:30Speaker 2: R J.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Harvey I think is in a smash spot this week
- 4:33Speaker 3: against the Commanders, and then DeAndre Swift as a sit
- 4:37Speaker 3: It pains me, but he played behind Kyle Mnungai last
- 4:40Speaker 3: week and the Eagles are really tough. Aaron Jones gets
- 4:42Speaker 3: a really tough matchup against Seattle with a first time quarterback.
- 4:46Speaker 3: We don't know how that offense is gonna look. David
- 4:48Speaker 3: Montgomery is completely trending in the wrong direction, and the
- 4:50Speaker 3: Packers are a good run defense, and then Tyrone Tracy
- 4:53Speaker 3: Junior was nice to see him take over last week.
- 4:56Speaker 3: But the Patriots are still an elite run dye maybe
- 4:58Speaker 3: the best them and I think are the two best
- 5:01Speaker 3: run defenses in football.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the Pacers run defense has been very
- 5:04Speaker 1: good so far this year. Omaron Hampton, though it's been
- 5:08Speaker 1: a while. I mean, eh, do you like obviously you
- 5:12Speaker 1: like him this week?
- 5:12Speaker 3: Correct?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Does this also mean are we dropping Kamani Vidal? We
- 5:17Speaker 1: just put him on the bitch. How are we handling that?
- 5:18Speaker 3: That's the question?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Okay, the fantasy streets are chirping and barking about Kamanie
- 5:22Speaker 2: Vidohl if we bench him forever? Drop him? I think
- 5:26Speaker 2: Amaron Hampton, though there may be a ramp up period
- 5:28Speaker 2: because that's what we saw at the beginning of the season.
- 5:30Speaker 2: And also this Chargers backfield, we've seen it operate as
- 5:33Speaker 2: a one two punch briefly with Naji Harris and a
- 5:36Speaker 2: Mari and Hampton. I think Camani Vidal still has a
- 5:38Speaker 2: role in this backfield. I'm not dropping him just yet
- 5:41Speaker 2: because Hampton's just coming back from a bad injury. I
- 5:44Speaker 2: would say where it might take some time for him
- 5:46Speaker 2: to get back in the swing. Look, if he's healthy,
- 5:48Speaker 2: I'm going to be starting him because he's shown us
- 5:50Speaker 2: RB one numbers before he went out with injury. So
- 5:52Speaker 2: if healthy, he's getting the start. But Kamani Videll, I
- 5:55Speaker 2: don't think we dropped him just yet. Let's just have
- 5:58Speaker 2: the watch on how this backfield and ynamic between both
- 6:00Speaker 2: of them, because if I doubt can ball won't give
- 6:02Speaker 2: an opportunity.
- 6:03Speaker 3: It's a handcuff season.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yes, I agree, cuff and season right now? Yeah, absolutely football.
- 6:08Speaker 3: He's still cold outsize.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I kind of want to spend this forward a little
- 6:11Speaker 1: bit because I know there are people, you know, if
- 6:13Speaker 1: you were even if you were not in playoff contention
- 6:15Speaker 1: and you're watching us, thank you for hanging in with us. Yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 1: there are people you know who are maybe starting to
- 6:20Speaker 1: think about next year as well. I know for Nazie Harris,
- 6:24Speaker 1: he's on a one year deal, so I don't think
- 6:27Speaker 1: he's gonna come back. I can't imagine he comes back,
- 6:29Speaker 1: but could we see this next year? Is maybe kind
- 6:31Speaker 1: of a two headed monster. In Los Angeles.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I think Viddell will have a role, and I agree
- 6:36Speaker 3: with o Q like he has shown he could play
- 6:38Speaker 3: at a pretty high level. But if Hampton is healthy
- 6:41Speaker 3: and he gets the whole off season and everything, I
- 6:43Speaker 3: wouldn't be surprised if he returns Round one value. I
- 6:46Speaker 3: don't know where exactly the ad pople settle yet, but
- 6:49Speaker 3: I think Hampton could be a top ten running back.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I think I'm good off the first round running backs though, man,
- 6:55Speaker 2: I have had not great luck Gente sa Quan. It's
- 6:59Speaker 2: just been hard. I think Gibbs is the only first
- 7:01Speaker 2: round running back that we can crown, but Hampton's probably like.
- 7:05Speaker 1: There's another one that you're not. Actually who's been good
- 7:08Speaker 1: for fantasy? Who's been great? He's been really good for fantasy.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I know what you're gonna say, but I'm not going
- 7:11Speaker 1: to say it, but you're going to get me to
- 7:13Speaker 1: say it. Christian mccaffe the and Jonathan Taylor to Jay
- 7:18Speaker 1: was really a round running back. I mean, that's some
- 7:21Speaker 1: good value. The first round guys who have returned value
- 7:23Speaker 1: have been seeing Jimi or Gibbs.
- 7:26Speaker 3: That's kindably it don't out there too. I know you're right, touchdowns.
- 7:30Speaker 3: It depends.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I'm worried about Jeon next year. If this Falcons offense
- 7:34Speaker 2: does not take a step forward, it.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Might be a completely different offense.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It's not your fault, it's really it's really your fault
- 7:42Speaker 1: around you.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Jon had eight rushing touchdowns instead of four his season
- 7:47Speaker 3: because he's averaging twenty per game right now.
- 7:49Speaker 2: That's because he's getting the targets and catches and PPR formats,
- 7:52Speaker 2: Thank you God, but gee and anything else was kind
- 7:55Speaker 2: of scary looking at.
- 7:56Speaker 1: They don't ask how, they ask how many exactly he's
- 7:59Speaker 1: numbers at this point. So we earlier in the week
- 8:02Speaker 1: we told you what we thought was going to happen
- 8:04Speaker 1: for Thursday, Thanksgiving Day games and the Black Friday game
- 8:08Speaker 1: as well. But of course there's still a whole lot
- 8:10Speaker 1: more games to go. Nobody is on a bye this week.
- 8:13Speaker 1: All thirty two teams are in action, so let's dive
- 8:16Speaker 1: into some of these SaaS Saturday Sunday Sunday games as well.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Start with the Rams and the Panthers. Rams obviously playing
- 8:23Speaker 1: great football right now, Carolina still in the hunt for
- 8:27Speaker 1: the division lead there in the NFC South, coming off
- 8:30Speaker 1: with Toelugh loss on Monday Night, Rico Dowdell didn't have
- 8:35Speaker 1: the greatest game in a matchup that seemed pretty favorable.
- 8:38Speaker 1: This matchup not nearly as favorable on paper, Florio, can
- 8:41Speaker 1: you start Rico Dowdle against the Rams?
- 8:44Speaker 3: Yes, Look, I think you need to understand that the
- 8:48Speaker 3: chances that he doesn't have a big week are higher
- 8:51Speaker 3: than they normally are. I don't love that they got
- 8:55Speaker 3: away completely from the run last week, Like he had
- 8:57Speaker 3: numerous opportunities near the goal line and they just weren't
- 9:00Speaker 3: considering him. I do think they go in and they
- 9:03Speaker 3: fix that, but he was their leading receiver. Like the
- 9:05Speaker 3: numbers are bad from last week, but he is still
- 9:08Speaker 3: so involved and we've seen him go off against many
- 9:12Speaker 3: defenses this year. We've seen him put up some big plays.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Like where I only have Rico on one team, but
- 9:17Speaker 3: where I have him, I haven't considered sitting you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: No, Yeah, I mean that's the thing. I mean, he's
- 9:22Speaker 1: still playing about sixty five percent of the snaps. I
- 9:25Speaker 1: think he did on Monday night, but Laclon, there wasn't
- 9:28Speaker 1: a lot of Cuba Hubbard. I know he's not efficient,
- 9:31Speaker 1: but he still seems to be getting the opportunity.
- 9:33Speaker 2: He seems like he's still going to be in that
- 9:34Speaker 2: backfield and involved in some capacity. But I do think
- 9:37Speaker 2: they'll need that one two punch this week against the Rams.
- 9:39Speaker 2: They're going to need to do something because it's going
- 9:41Speaker 2: to be an uphill battle for Rico being that we've
- 9:43Speaker 2: seen this trenches kind of dominate running backs on the
- 9:46Speaker 2: other side and keeping them out of the end zone.
- 9:48Speaker 2: So I do think, like, if I'm in a situation
- 9:50Speaker 2: with the mari and Hampton, mhy not start him over Rico.
- 9:54Speaker 2: That's just like I feel like Rico has held us
- 9:57Speaker 2: down when we dealt with these running back injuries and
- 9:59Speaker 2: now there's no buys and guys starting to return, Like
- 10:02Speaker 2: I think there's a bar where it's like, Okay, you
- 10:04Speaker 2: could sit to the side now and let me get
- 10:05Speaker 2: my guys that you know, really need this opportunity to
- 10:08Speaker 2: put up Fantasy points this week.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I think that's the other part of having Rico, right
- 10:11Speaker 1: you you added him probably in a pinch because you
- 10:14Speaker 1: needed help somewhere. He was never expected to be your
- 10:16Speaker 1: main running back, so in theory, you have ways to
- 10:20Speaker 1: work around this sort of thing if you needed to
- 10:22Speaker 1: other part of the game. I just want to mention this,
- 10:24Speaker 1: Like I mentioned this on NFL Fantasy Live. You know
- 10:27Speaker 1: who the number one scoring rookie receiver in fantasy is
- 10:30Speaker 1: right now. It's not a Mecca a Buka. It's Terror McMillan, McMillan, Terro.
- 10:34Speaker 3: McMillan is the wide receiver eight overall.
- 10:36Speaker 1: And I know it hasn't been flashy, like he hasn't
- 10:37Speaker 1: had any of those huge blow up games necessarily. I
- 10:40Speaker 1: think his best game is like twenty twenty five points
- 10:43Speaker 1: something like that. Good, not spectacular. He's just been steady,
- 10:46Speaker 1: just consistently double digit points.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Bookcase proof that if you get out the gate running hot.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You can your storyline the whole year. But McMillan has
- 10:56Speaker 1: been really, really good, and I feel like we haven't
- 10:58Speaker 1: talked enough about him.
- 11:00Speaker 2: If he scores one, he's putting up another one. That's
- 11:02Speaker 2: just how it's been. This is how it's going to
- 11:04Speaker 2: go with Teed.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Costco player man score six thousand bunk. That's what it is.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Who it is forty nine ers at the Browns. We
- 11:09Speaker 1: already saw that brock perty is a sits on Michael f.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Florio's list.
- 11:14Speaker 1: We know Lakwan that Shiduar Sanders is going to get
- 11:16Speaker 1: the start against the forty nine ers. We also know
- 11:18Speaker 1: the weather is going to be kind of nasty there
- 11:21Speaker 1: on the shores of Lake Erie, so understanding that people
- 11:24Speaker 1: are going to be starting Christian McCaffrey pretty much regardless
- 11:28Speaker 1: anybody else on either side of this game, that you
- 11:30Speaker 1: would feel okay starting.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Harri Fannin Jr. I think he's been the one more reliable,
- 11:35Speaker 2: you know, target that you can have with the bad weather.
- 11:37Speaker 2: You could explort, you can expect like short to the
- 11:39Speaker 2: line of scrimmage, you know, runs and design plays for him.
- 11:41Speaker 2: And I think being that he is the guy that
- 11:44Speaker 2: has kind of made this Browns offense look anywhere near stable,
- 11:47Speaker 2: to have positive receptions, to have positive gains on that offense,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I honestly think he feels like the safest bet here.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I'm not sure about Brock Purdy. I'm not sure about
- 11:56Speaker 2: Juwan Jennings and the people's jewels of how he's going
- 11:58Speaker 2: to be playing. So I do at the end of
- 12:00Speaker 2: the day, if I'm looking for stability out of this
- 12:02Speaker 2: game with bad weather, it has to be hero Fana Jr.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I would hope that in the week or so that
- 12:07Speaker 1: Juwan Jennys can ice.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Up a little bit. You have recovery time after shock. Bro.
- 12:12Speaker 2: That was crazy.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I was like, why is he so? And then.
- 12:17Speaker 1: He is just like, Oh, that's that's why he's fighting,
- 12:22Speaker 1: because it was like.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Of all people, Juwan Jenny is like, what what am
- 12:27Speaker 3: I missing? Like, Oh, that's why there's beef there understandable.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Texans at the Colts, we saw you got Daniel Jones
- 12:36Speaker 1: on the side of things, Florio, but kind of a
- 12:40Speaker 1: vibe check. And when I when I asked that is
- 12:42Speaker 1: does it means he's going to be just mid against
- 12:44Speaker 1: the Texans or bad?
- 12:45Speaker 3: I think bad. Look you saw what they did to
- 12:49Speaker 3: my guy, the best top two quarterback walking the planet.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Uh and and they were able to completely shut him down.
- 12:56Speaker 3: And the thing about Daniel Jones is it's he's kind
- 13:00Speaker 3: of been trending down the last couple of weeks. Interceptions
- 13:03Speaker 3: have become a thing. The fantasy production hasn't been as
- 13:07Speaker 3: high as I think. It's a good thing for the
- 13:08Speaker 3: Colts though, because they were they were trending towards giving
- 13:12Speaker 3: him franchise quarterback money and making the same mistake that
- 13:15Speaker 3: the Giants did. I think if you could get Jones
- 13:18Speaker 3: on a look, you don't have to give him like
- 13:19Speaker 3: a rookie deal, but if you get him on a
- 13:22Speaker 3: middle I never like teams that overpay the quarterback just
- 13:26Speaker 3: because it's a quarterback. So if you get him on
- 13:27Speaker 3: a friendlier contract, I think that's a good thing. But
- 13:29Speaker 3: for fantasy this week, there's no way I'm playing him
- 13:33Speaker 3: against the Texans.
- 13:33Speaker 1: This is where like the NFL could take a page
- 13:36Speaker 1: from the NBA, like the whole mid level exception that
- 13:39Speaker 1: players getting that sort of thing. That's because I remember,
- 13:41Speaker 1: like when the Giants signed Daniel Jones to that car,
- 13:44Speaker 1: like literally every single person was like, that's a bad
- 13:47Speaker 1: ideas is.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Like, well, it's his turn. It doesn't have to do
- 13:51Speaker 3: don't know what I mean. There's a few elite quarterbacks
- 13:53Speaker 3: that deserve that kind of money. Not every single quarterback
- 13:56Speaker 3: deserves it.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I always laugh. And it happens in like all industry
- 14:00Speaker 1: and all sorts of things when like the people who
- 14:02Speaker 1: were in charge of a thing or can make a
- 14:04Speaker 1: thing happen to like, well that's.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Just the way it is. We don't like it, but
- 14:07Speaker 3: that's just how it has to be. No, does it
- 14:09Speaker 3: control over you have the power. You have the power.
- 14:12Speaker 3: You don't have to just frog walk yourself to the
- 14:14Speaker 3: edge of the cliff, Like you don't have to do that,
- 14:16Speaker 3: like like Drew Petson being like we didn't like the
- 14:18Speaker 3: fourth court and fourth down play calls, Like dude, you
- 14:21Speaker 3: called it.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'll trying to find a guy who did this, like
- 14:23Speaker 1: what was happening. By the way, So before we get
- 14:29Speaker 1: off of this game, And an interesting thing that I
- 14:31Speaker 1: did see is that apparently the Texans are giving up
- 14:35Speaker 1: the most yards per scramble attempt ten yards per attempt.
- 14:40Speaker 1: The trick is you just have to get past their
- 14:42Speaker 1: pass rush for you to do. Yeah, it's so difficult
- 14:45Speaker 1: thing I do somehow if you get escaped that prison,
- 14:49Speaker 1: like you're gonna run free. It's just getting out of jail.
- 14:51Speaker 1: That's the hard escaping. To Hunter and Will, I understand
- 14:54Speaker 1: that there's just not.
- 14:56Speaker 3: They rushed for and had two spies at times last week,
- 14:59Speaker 3: which he tells you everything you need to know about
- 15:01Speaker 3: the Bills receiving room. But yeah, that's how they attack.
- 15:04Speaker 1: They will get out wid they're gonna get after a
- 15:06Speaker 1: little bit. Saints at the Dolphins, we know Alvin Kamara
- 15:10Speaker 1: dealing with some injury issues and not likely to play
- 15:12Speaker 1: this week.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Dolphins a great matchup for running backs.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Devin Neil has been hot on the fantasy streets, at
- 15:18Speaker 1: least in the fantasy waiver wires. Lakwan, is it really
- 15:20Speaker 1: Devin Neil season?
- 15:21Speaker 3: This week?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Expectations have to be pulled back a little bit, like,
- 15:24Speaker 2: I don't want folks stick him in as RB two
- 15:27Speaker 2: or RB one. This is flex territory, your expectations. As
- 15:30Speaker 2: you look at last week, right, he put up eleven
- 15:32Speaker 2: fantasy points season high and snaps and opportunities. This dude
- 15:35Speaker 2: ran thirty routes. Okay, there's only two other running backs
- 15:38Speaker 2: who did this this season. That was Christian McCaffrey, Lamar
- 15:41Speaker 2: and Hampton. So he has the PPR upside, and he
- 15:43Speaker 2: has the upside on the ground because we know the
- 15:46Speaker 2: Dolphins struggle at stopping the run. So I'm looking at
- 15:48Speaker 2: this as like, hey, if I have to stick him in,
- 15:50Speaker 2: it has to be the absolute need. It has to
- 15:53Speaker 2: be one of those things where it's like I have
- 15:54Speaker 2: no other options because when we're looking at looking at
- 15:57Speaker 2: him on the ground, he's still getting less than for
- 15:59Speaker 2: youarship of carry like Alvin Kamara the only one at
- 16:02Speaker 2: that in that backfield in that capacity, and that's shown
- 16:04Speaker 2: us anything positive is Kendrey Miller, who was injured right now.
- 16:07Speaker 2: So I'm not really looking hoping for Devin Neil to
- 16:10Speaker 2: be on the ground to get all these yards. I'm
- 16:12Speaker 2: looking for the targets, the dump offs and so he
- 16:14Speaker 2: can get upfield and make some big plays. So other
- 16:17Speaker 2: than that, flex expectations this week for me, I.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Feel like the Saints are experiencing the soft bigotry of
- 16:25Speaker 1: low expectations. Like we look at the Saints because the
- 16:27Speaker 1: offense is bad. I mean, they're tied with the Raiders
- 16:31Speaker 1: for the fewest points scored. You know, they have a
- 16:35Speaker 1: ton of turnovers. But we're like, hey, there's an opportunity.
- 16:38Speaker 1: There's a guy who's healthy and breathing and might get carries,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and like we we try to tell ourselves a story
- 16:44Speaker 1: where we get excited about it and yeah, really, maybe
- 16:46Speaker 1: the answer is like no.
- 16:47Speaker 3: And then, like most Saints stories, Taysom Hill comes in rooms.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, it's the worst.
- 16:52Speaker 3: You have the goal on work carries, he threw two passes.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I just I don't understand. And again, I think we
- 16:59Speaker 1: talked about the on Monday. This is the third coach.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Like at first you're like, okay, well him and Sean
- 17:05Speaker 1: Payton just you know, they have a connection. Sean Payton's
- 17:08Speaker 1: doing it, and then maybe you could, like with Dennis Allen, you'
- 17:11Speaker 1: kind of like, all right, well Dennis Allen was there,
- 17:14Speaker 1: Kelan Moore came from a completely different team, Like.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I am really surprised. Well now that you bring that
- 17:21Speaker 3: up that Taysom Hill hasn't ended up on the Broncos yet.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it seems like a joker role.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I'm done.
- 17:30Speaker 1: At the end of this year. Sean Payn's gonna look
- 17:31Speaker 1: around be like, yeah, just hav An ingram things, not
- 17:33Speaker 1: cutting a Taysom Hey, thirty six year old Taysom Hill,
- 17:36Speaker 1: like who just had a year bag too?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Like he got a good deal for a guy who
- 17:41Speaker 3: doesn't really play a position.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't, I don't understand it. You know, we
- 17:47Speaker 1: have checked in with our old palmatt Okata, who's like
- 17:49Speaker 1: the biggest Taysom Hill stand there is.
- 17:51Speaker 3: He also loves Kyler, so he's probably has mixed right.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a rough year for our poweratt Okanda
- 17:56Speaker 1: for sure. Time to check out the first to score
- 17:59Speaker 1: odds for some days Bill Steelers matchup. No surprise, the
- 18:02Speaker 1: guys at the top of the list James Cook. James Cook.
- 18:05Speaker 1: The third is that what we're going with now for him?
- 18:07Speaker 1: So he goes with okay, Jason is with the best odds,
- 18:10Speaker 1: followed by Josh Allen, and you got Jalen Warren, Khalil Shakir,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and Kenneth Gainwell, who has gained well over the last.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Couple of weeks.
- 18:20Speaker 1: What you like that, whether it gets in the end zone, lakwan,
- 18:23Speaker 1: any of these guys are really get you excited about
- 18:27Speaker 1: who's gonna score the first touchdown there?
- 18:28Speaker 2: It's always gonna be James Cook. I mean, if Joe
- 18:30Speaker 2: Brady understands the assignment right, give it to James right.
- 18:34Speaker 2: If we can get on the same page, just hand
- 18:36Speaker 2: it to James Cook. I mean, I just want the
- 18:39Speaker 2: James Cook to be cooking. I know Florio does too.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I know Florio has his little thing against Joe Brady,
- 18:44Speaker 2: but I think James Cook is going to bring this little.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Thing against Joe Brady as Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 3: I mean the thing that stood out to me most
- 18:54Speaker 3: of all is DK metcalf isn't even on that list.
- 18:56Speaker 3: On that like what is going on.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I mean, look, when you have Arthur Smith on the sticks,
- 19:01Speaker 2: it's going to be his system. He's going to control it.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And without Aaron Rodgers or limited Aaron Rodgers, we have
- 19:08Speaker 2: to have our expectations pulled back.
- 19:10Speaker 3: And say Steelers tight ends because we there, you go
- 19:13Speaker 3: figure it out. Let's go, John new let's go.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I mean, look, I know people in fantasy have talked
- 19:17Speaker 1: about the idea of just having like a team position, right,
- 19:20Speaker 1: so you can start, you know, like I guess it
- 19:23Speaker 1: would work, right, you just start Steelers tight end and
- 19:25Speaker 1: whatever happens, you know, you're You're fine.
- 19:28Speaker 3: I play in the league that does that for kickers,
- 19:30Speaker 3: which is kind of a weird position.
- 19:32Speaker 1: To do it for me, Yeah, because like how many
- 19:33Speaker 1: teams run multiple kickers.
- 19:35Speaker 3: But if God forbids something ever happens, you get the points.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Just know, I'm at the league meeting every year voting
- 19:40Speaker 2: that we don't play with kickers.
- 19:41Speaker 3: No, oh, I like you.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I like kickers because I like I like the randomness. No,
- 19:45Speaker 1: I just like to I like the randomness because I
- 19:47Speaker 1: got this is my analogy, right, the if you are
- 19:50Speaker 1: a great video game player, right, you don't really worry
- 19:53Speaker 1: about another great video game player because they know all
- 19:55Speaker 1: the moves. You know, the person you worry about is
- 19:57Speaker 1: the button masher, right, because like that person's shooting fireballs
- 20:00Speaker 1: and you and you don't know when they're coming because
- 20:02Speaker 1: they don't know when they're coming, right, Like that's and
- 20:04Speaker 1: that's kind of what kickers are. They're just button mashers.
- 20:06Speaker 1: And it all sort of levels the playing field amongst everybody.
- 20:08Speaker 3: I got my home league to finally get rid of them,
- 20:10Speaker 3: and then I lost this year because the defense went
- 20:12Speaker 3: off against me. Maybe we need to reevaluate defenses as well.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Side notes to all of this, by the way, before
- 20:18Speaker 1: we get into the game a little bit further, DK
- 20:21Speaker 1: Metcalf did not practice on Wednesday. They're expecting him to
- 20:23Speaker 1: be a limited participant, So just something to.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Keep in mind as get closer to the weekend.
- 20:27Speaker 1: But as we get into this game, Florio, you as
- 20:31Speaker 1: the noted bill's honk on this show, if you had
- 20:34Speaker 1: to start a bill not named Josh Allen or James Cook,
- 20:37Speaker 1: it would be clear.
- 20:39Speaker 3: And to me, I think he is a really good
- 20:41Speaker 3: start this week. Not only have the Steelers allowed the
- 20:44Speaker 3: most Fantasy points per game two wide, receivers, but they
- 20:48Speaker 3: have been getting cooked by slot receivers as of late.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Since Week eight, they've allowed the most yak to slot receivers.
- 20:56Speaker 3: And I'm I said this on Fantasy Live. I'm gonna
- 20:58Speaker 3: say it again. He has to get yack because they do.
- 21:02Speaker 3: It is like Joe Brady made him sign a contract
- 21:05Speaker 3: or something that says, we will never use you downfield.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Every single one of his targets, not only will you
- 21:09Speaker 3: see the yellow line, it'll probably be behind the blue
- 21:12Speaker 3: line of scrimmage that everyone loves to see when their
- 21:14Speaker 3: receivers are catching the ball, because that's all they let
- 21:17Speaker 3: him do is run screens. But I do think this
- 21:19Speaker 3: is a week where he'll be able to use because
- 21:20Speaker 3: he's one of the best YAK receivers in the NFL,
- 21:23Speaker 3: So I think he'll be able to use that talent
- 21:24Speaker 3: to have success in this matchup.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I mean he has to be when they're basically just
- 21:28Speaker 1: giving him extended handoffs.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Can't win downfield. But Joe Brady's like, no, no, no, no,
- 21:32Speaker 3: That's why we have Brandon Cooks. Now.
- 21:34Speaker 1: That is the worst when you're when your fantasy receiver
- 21:37Speaker 1: catches the ball with a line of scrimmage line still
- 21:40Speaker 1: on the screen, Like that's a hard way to live.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Man. It's just the three catches for like negative three
- 21:44Speaker 3: yards one game. I'm like, what are we doing there? Man?
- 21:47Speaker 1: But still catch you two point seven?
- 21:49Speaker 3: People love that.
- 21:51Speaker 1: No, we cannot we cannot accept this. We can be
- 21:55Speaker 1: better as a society. I demand more of us as
- 21:57Speaker 1: a society. Things actually been kind of interesting in the
- 22:00Speaker 1: Steelers backfield. Yeah, so I ask you this question this
- 22:04Speaker 1: week against the Bills, Jalen Warren and if Gainwell neither
- 22:08Speaker 1: or both both? Why not both?
- 22:10Speaker 2: I mean honestly, Yeah, you're looking at this backfield and
- 22:13Speaker 2: you look at last week both of them put up
- 22:14Speaker 2: twelve Fantasy points. This is another lay a matchup for
- 22:17Speaker 2: them on the ground, and honestly, they're splitting the roles.
- 22:20Speaker 2: We're seeing Jalen Warren bounce off the tackles yards after
- 22:22Speaker 2: three to contact. I think he's going to be the
- 22:24Speaker 2: guy that gets the points on the ground. There's going
- 22:26Speaker 2: to be ugly runs that he's going to be able
- 22:28Speaker 2: to get, but he may fall into the end zone
- 22:30Speaker 2: because he's still getting those red zone opportunities. Gainwell, he's explosive,
- 22:33Speaker 2: he has the juice in between the tackles. But he's
- 22:35Speaker 2: also a guy that can get in open space and
- 22:37Speaker 2: in the passing game and find relevance in fantasy that
- 22:40Speaker 2: way and give us those highs that we've seen. We've
- 22:43Speaker 2: seen him put up RB one numbers with max opportunities.
- 22:45Speaker 2: We've also now seen him put up RB two numbers
- 22:48Speaker 2: even with Jalen Warren healthy and ready to go. So
- 22:50Speaker 2: I think this matchup on the ground is served up
- 22:52Speaker 2: for both of them. So I can see myself putting
- 22:55Speaker 2: Jalen Warren at the flex. I could see myself putting
- 22:57Speaker 2: game well at the flex over a lot of other
- 22:58Speaker 2: running backs like a Trey Ben and who's trying to
- 23:00Speaker 2: trend back to come back.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Yeah, he said, Ugly Runs. Can we make that a
- 23:05Speaker 3: segment on the show? On this show?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Right? Well take it because I know, you know there's
- 23:08Speaker 1: another show that does angry runs, like.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Running backs getting absolutely blown.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Up, like just or guys who like run back and
- 23:15Speaker 1: forth and like you know, like the distance they cover
- 23:17Speaker 1: is like twenty yards in the.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Game like nothing. Yeah, they're gonna make this a thing.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Yes, Ugly Runs. Kwap, can we write that down somewhere
- 23:24Speaker 1: so we can do that, like the.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Brains of angry runs by the way. There, Well, yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 3: you started.
- 23:28Speaker 1: You can add this to the resume. You created angry
- 23:30Speaker 1: runs and you champion ugly runs.
- 23:33Speaker 3: There you go, it is.
- 23:34Speaker 1: We got some more Week thirteen previews coming up. Stick
- 23:36Speaker 1: around for that and plenty more more here on the
- 23:38Speaker 1: NFL Fantasy Football show, Keeping going. That's a thing, right,
- 23:45Speaker 1: keeping going on the Sunday and Monday slid Falcons at
- 23:49Speaker 1: the Jets, Florio, do you see any potential sleepers in
- 23:52Speaker 1: this one?
- 23:54Speaker 3: I think Kyle Pitts is potentially a streaming tight end
- 23:56Speaker 3: if you're with no Drake London because he did have
- 23:59Speaker 3: a team high five targets, but a jet John Metchi
- 24:04Speaker 3: he hit seven targets last week from Tyrod Taylor is
- 24:07Speaker 3: a touchdown and double digit fantasy points in each of
- 24:10Speaker 3: the last two. Donnie Mitchell is the like take the
- 24:13Speaker 3: top off the defense guy, but Metchi is the possession receiver.
- 24:16Speaker 3: So as long as Garrett Wilson is out, I do
- 24:18Speaker 3: think Metchi is a sleeper.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I mean, and Tyrod Taylor is god him to the
- 24:21Speaker 1: list of backup quarterbacks who at least have sort of
- 24:25Speaker 1: unlocked his wide receiver like granted, it's not Garrett Wilson, right,
- 24:29Speaker 1: Like he's working with what he has to work with.
- 24:31Speaker 1: But you know, John Metchi has become a thing.
- 24:34Speaker 3: You know how we joke like all the backups are
- 24:35Speaker 3: in a crew and they're like throw two best receivers,
- 24:37Speaker 3: Like that's John Metchi. What do you want to.
- 24:42Speaker 1: You know, Tyron seems to just consistently come into situations
- 24:45Speaker 1: where he loses his best receivers, right like when he
- 24:48Speaker 1: was with the Bills and they sent both a Marii
- 24:50Speaker 1: Cooper and Robert Woods to the Rams.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and he still ended the drought there. Baby,
- 24:58Speaker 3: I love tyrod Ty God forever, man tie out forever.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Yeah. You mentioned, by the way, Drake London doubtful for
- 25:05Speaker 1: this week, so it seems very unlikely he's going to play.
- 25:08Speaker 1: So you know, maybe Kyle Pitts, maybe Darnell Mooney. Yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: Mooney's another one too.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Like David Seals. I mean he scored a touchdown last week.
- 25:16Speaker 2: That's a deep sleep for those fourteen sixteen team leagues.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah why not?
- 25:19Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:19Speaker 3: Yeah, him in there.
- 25:20Speaker 1: And you know, if you're into the sort of thing,
- 25:22Speaker 1: they signed kJ Osborne to their their practice squad too.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Jim Roval and the Bills man for for oldest Watcherson.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Who knows, maybe they go get maybe they go good.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Elijah Moore, now that he's out there on the who
- 25:35Speaker 1: knows Cardinals at the Buccaneers. You sort of touched on
- 25:39Speaker 1: this earlier, Lakwan. Trey Benson trying to work his way back.
- 25:42Speaker 1: They opened his practice window a couple of weeks ago.
- 25:44Speaker 1: He wasn't quite ready for last week's game against Jacksonville.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Trending in the right direction this week. Would you start
- 25:50Speaker 1: him against Tampa if he does come back.
- 25:52Speaker 2: No, because you said that via Vada in that mineral
- 25:54Speaker 2: of that field. I do think Trey Benson, he's shown
- 25:57Speaker 2: us that the arrow was pointing up, but his fantasy
- 26:00Speaker 2: high the season is ten fantasy points. Like, we haven't
- 26:02Speaker 2: seen anything that has made us bully him into our
- 26:05Speaker 2: starting lineup. So I'm taking the wait and see approach
- 26:08Speaker 2: with Trey Benson, just to see this dynamic of how
- 26:10Speaker 2: this backfield is going to be looking like I am
- 26:12Speaker 2: hopeful now with Jakobe Brissett as the quarterback elevating this offense,
- 26:17Speaker 2: This Cardinals offense has a new makeup. This is a
- 26:19Speaker 2: top ten offense right now. I think in total yards
- 26:21Speaker 2: for a game. You're looking at the opportunities that they're making.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Greg George Michael Wilson steppening up. I'm curious to see
- 26:27Speaker 2: how Trey Benson looks with this new makeup in this
- 26:29Speaker 2: Carlins offense.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the thing that we did like about
- 26:33Speaker 1: Trey Benson when he was there, he was pretty much
- 26:35Speaker 1: the guy. Yeah in that backfield. You know, they lost
- 26:38Speaker 1: James Connor and they lose Trey Benson. They've sort of
- 26:41Speaker 1: been trying to piece it together. They have not been
- 26:42Speaker 1: good running the football since Benson went down. Who knew,
- 26:45Speaker 1: by the way, all this other part of this is
- 26:48Speaker 1: Bucky Irving could be back as well, but they've said
- 26:52Speaker 1: Todd Bole say he could be on a pitch count
- 26:55Speaker 1: if he is able to go in this one. So
- 26:57Speaker 1: we could still see some Rashad White, some Seawanucker mixed
- 27:01Speaker 1: in there.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Here is Sean Tucker, man, please send We already seen
- 27:05Speaker 2: Rashad White, we know what he is. Just give a
- 27:07Speaker 2: Sean Tucker.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I'm just I'm just telling you what I know. That's
- 27:09Speaker 3: all Jaguars at the Titans.
- 27:12Speaker 1: This this game used to be like a staple of
- 27:15Speaker 1: Thursday night football. I mean it was a tradition unlike
- 27:17Speaker 1: any other Jags Titans. Maybe a color rush uniform, something
- 27:21Speaker 1: like that. Derek he Derek Henry trucking defensive backs like
- 27:24Speaker 1: it used to be, like the way we lived on
- 27:26Speaker 1: Thursday nights, Oriol Travis Etn No playing well, Beshall Tuten
- 27:31Speaker 1: playing not so well? Are we back in on Travis Etn?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Yeah, like I was saying, I think for a while now,
- 27:38Speaker 3: the fantasy community has been trying to write off Travis
- 27:40Speaker 3: Etn and get excited about other running backs there, but
- 27:43Speaker 3: it just keeps coming back to Etn, and he has
- 27:47Speaker 3: played at a high level as of late. In fact,
- 27:52Speaker 3: like he's leading them in goal on carries right now.
- 27:55Speaker 3: He's leading them with fifty nine percent of the snaps
- 27:57Speaker 3: on the season, sixty six percent of the running back carries,
- 27:59Speaker 3: sixty five five percent of the running back targets, like
- 28:01Speaker 3: all of the volume is going his way. And then
- 28:04Speaker 3: they get the Titans, who have struggled against the run
- 28:07Speaker 3: all year six most yards, second most touchdowns, They give
- 28:10Speaker 3: up explosive run something above average rate. Yeah, I think
- 28:12Speaker 3: you very much so played Travis Etms.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's funny because he's another guy. It
- 28:16Speaker 1: just it seems like they're trying to get away from
- 28:18Speaker 1: him and they just can't, you know, either because the
- 28:20Speaker 1: guys behind him don't produce, or Etn steps up. They
- 28:24Speaker 1: need him to.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Drount up to the jacks is Oh line because they're
- 28:27Speaker 2: they're moving bodies from him. So I think that's why
- 28:29Speaker 2: he's getting such that positive yardage. I mean, look at
- 28:31Speaker 2: his yards before contact. It's top of the league. And
- 28:33Speaker 2: it's kind of crazy to see Travis Etn run away
- 28:36Speaker 2: with this RB one batch that we could put on
- 28:38Speaker 2: him because he's hitting those fantasy eyes.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I feel like he's gonna be another guy next year.
- 28:42Speaker 1: We're going to talk about him in draft.
- 28:43Speaker 3: It's gonna be like, yeah, Traves ETL and he's like
- 28:46Speaker 3: Kyen Williams right, Like they'll draft a running back in
- 28:48Speaker 3: like the sixth round and everyone will be like, that's
- 28:50Speaker 3: the real.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Guy, and then at the end of it be like, hey,
- 28:54Speaker 1: Travisytn is like a low end RB one, Like what
- 28:56Speaker 1: are you doing here?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Is what it is?
- 28:57Speaker 1: Vikings at Seahawks. Maybe the big story in this one
- 29:01Speaker 1: is that JJ McCarthy is still in concussion protocol. He
- 29:04Speaker 1: is at practice, although Max Brosmer is taking first team
- 29:08Speaker 1: reps for the Vikings this week. So I questioned to you, Lakwantis,
- 29:13Speaker 1: will Seahawks DST be the top scorer in this game?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Absolutely, if you see them on the whider, start them
- 29:19Speaker 2: this week, because I know Max is probably looking like
- 29:22Speaker 2: me against one of the more physical defenses. Like bro
- 29:25Speaker 2: when we've seen this Seahawks defense really get actor the
- 29:28Speaker 2: quarterback position. I mean right now they are fourth and sacks,
- 29:31Speaker 2: third in QB hits, in first and QB pressures. This
- 29:34Speaker 2: is a very physical trenches that are going to be
- 29:37Speaker 2: coming at him that want to put their hands on him.
- 29:39Speaker 2: So I do think at the end of the day,
- 29:40Speaker 2: there's going to be a lot of takeaways. There's going
- 29:42Speaker 2: to probably be some strip fumbles. There's going to be
- 29:44Speaker 2: a lot of opportunities for this Seahawks defense to put
- 29:47Speaker 2: up points, maybe a pick six. Who knows, there's going
- 29:49Speaker 2: to be a lot of opportunities on the table for him.
- 29:51Speaker 1: When I do my Sleepers column every week, and I
- 29:54Speaker 1: always you know, you know, teams to pick for certain
- 29:56Speaker 1: matchups or whatever, right, and like when I'm looking for
- 29:59Speaker 1: some d defenses to talk about him, like, well, who's
- 30:01Speaker 1: playing the Vikings. And I saw the Seahawks and I'm like, damn,
- 30:05Speaker 1: I can't use them as.
- 30:05Speaker 3: A sleeper there.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I'm like, I can't. I can't do any mental gymnastics
- 30:12Speaker 1: to make them a sleeper. They're just too good, you know.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be vim And like.
- 30:16Speaker 3: JSA is the top scorer this I did make them
- 30:19Speaker 3: a start because I was like, I'll take the low
- 30:22Speaker 3: hanging fruit.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, that's sure. Absolutely, it's right there for you Raiders.
- 30:27Speaker 1: At the Chargers, the Raiders making more changes. They said
- 30:30Speaker 1: goodbye to Chip Kelly as the offensive coordinator after last
- 30:34Speaker 1: week's lost to Cleveland, and once again what's old is
- 30:37Speaker 1: new again. Greg Olsen comes back to be the OC
- 30:40Speaker 1: there in Las Vegas, third time, third time, because this
- 30:44Speaker 1: time is going to work for sure, Florio will this
- 30:47Speaker 1: improve the Raiders offense?
- 30:48Speaker 3: And he blocked like the other greg Olsen, you cannot
- 30:51Speaker 3: because that's the issue with this team, Like they're a
- 30:54Speaker 3: line is terrible. I know Gino Smith is taking a
- 30:57Speaker 3: step back. I think a lot of it though, is
- 30:59Speaker 3: because of the constant pressure he's under. And plus, if
- 31:03Speaker 3: you like, they could hire any of us and we
- 31:05Speaker 3: would look at this offense and be like, build it
- 31:07Speaker 3: around Gente and Bowers, and that's what they've done, and
- 31:10Speaker 3: it still hasn't led to a whole lot of success.
- 31:12Speaker 3: So maybe they find a couple of new things to
- 31:16Speaker 3: get them going, but I'm expecting the same old Raiders.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I do love that as we were talking about this,
- 31:21Speaker 1: we see Ashton Genty with two ugly runs.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Like that could be there.
- 31:24Speaker 1: You go, that is the third one right there? Yeah,
- 31:28Speaker 1: it's bad. I just I went back and watched that
- 31:31Speaker 1: game against the Browns and it was like, I mean,
- 31:34Speaker 1: it was just a free for all in the backfield
- 31:35Speaker 1: and I did it. The Browns offense or defensive line
- 31:38Speaker 1: is good, but still, I mean it was just like
- 31:40Speaker 1: one two three Chuck Duck, Like that was if Shaudor
- 31:44Speaker 1: did not.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Start in that game. There was zero reason to watch.
- 31:46Speaker 3: There's zero.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I was trying to explain that to my wife. I'm like,
- 31:49Speaker 1: the only reason people even kind of cares because they
- 31:52Speaker 1: should do, or saying like.
- 31:52Speaker 3: I have Judkins on some fantasy teams. I'm like, yeah,
- 31:54Speaker 3: I'll check what he does after.
- 31:56Speaker 1: And you know, yeah, I'm like I'm not watching this game.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Like even my friends who are Raider fans like, we
- 32:01Speaker 1: don't really want to watch this game at this point.
- 32:04Speaker 1: That's how bad it is. Time for a break. But
- 32:07Speaker 1: when we come back, we'll finish up our starts and
- 32:09Speaker 1: sins with wide receivers and tight ends, plus preview these
- 32:12Speaker 1: Sunday and Monday night games and.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Our sleepers for the week over.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Now to some more starts and since for week thirteen,
- 32:23Speaker 1: let's look at the wide receiver position for some starts there.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Who are the guys who are starting Floria?
- 32:29Speaker 1: Who are the guys that you are sitting.
- 32:31Speaker 3: I'm starting the Eagles duo. For a while, I was
- 32:34Speaker 3: getting questions on him. I know they balled out last week.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I think they go out in a big way this
- 32:38Speaker 3: week against the Bears, who struggled against the pass Stefon Diggs.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Not only is it a great matchup against the Giants,
- 32:44Speaker 3: this is me speculating, but it's been very up or down,
- 32:47Speaker 3: not even production wise, like usage wise. This is a
- 32:49Speaker 3: Monday night game, National Lights. I big digs balls out
- 32:53Speaker 3: in a big way here, Christian Watson. It's indoors. The
- 32:57Speaker 3: Lions have really struggled on the deep ball and the Khalilshaki.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I already spoke about how the Steelers struggle against yak
- 33:03Speaker 3: My Sits. I'm looking to get away from the Colts.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Last week both were held to under thirty yards. Pittman
- 33:09Speaker 3: had last season both games against the Texans under thirty
- 33:12Speaker 3: five receiving yards, and I think Pierce once in his
- 33:14Speaker 3: career has gone over fifty against them. Jamison Williams I did.
- 33:18Speaker 3: I ended up switching that out last second, so I
- 33:20Speaker 3: have Jamison Williams someone you could play. I switched them
- 33:23Speaker 3: out for Jordan Addison, DJ Moore and Deebo Samuel, also
- 33:28Speaker 3: players I'm looking to get away from. I don't like
- 33:30Speaker 3: their matchups at all. Their usage has been kind of
- 33:32Speaker 3: up and down, and I just I think there's better
- 33:34Speaker 3: options out there with no teams on buy eh.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I mean, how do you feeling about Jameson Williams ola
- 33:39Speaker 1: Quan because it's boom or bust right, either really get
- 33:41Speaker 1: all of the points or none of the points.
- 33:43Speaker 2: That's the problem. And I know, Wait brock Right dealing
- 33:46Speaker 2: with his neck injury. I know he's trending towards not playing.
- 33:48Speaker 2: So there's a target boost for Jameson Williams, but that's
- 33:51Speaker 2: never been the issue for him. It's more so looking
- 33:54Speaker 2: at last week he had trouble separating, like they had
- 33:57Speaker 2: that boy locked up, like it was no s that
- 34:00Speaker 2: he was able to get. When you're looking at this
- 34:03Speaker 2: week the Packers, they're allowing below league average a separation
- 34:06Speaker 2: to the wide receiver position, and that's how you're looking
- 34:09Speaker 2: at somebody scary floors that he's producing. He is not
- 34:12Speaker 2: like one of the big premieer guys like obviously this
- 34:15Speaker 2: Lion's offense can just switch to a Monro Saint Brown
- 34:18Speaker 2: and Gibbs, like Jameson Williams is going to be going
- 34:21Speaker 2: up against a defense that have been locking wide receivers
- 34:24Speaker 2: up of his caliber to where he has that buster
- 34:26Speaker 2: boom to him. And you look at the Giants game,
- 34:28Speaker 2: he had zero Fantasy points, Like that is a scary floor.
- 34:31Speaker 2: And Giants are also below the league average of separation
- 34:35Speaker 2: to the wide receiver position. So I'm a little worried
- 34:37Speaker 2: about Jameis Williams, even with Brock right out and him
- 34:40Speaker 2: getting that target boost. But those floors are scary, Like
- 34:43Speaker 2: we talked about those floors. They got broken tiles and cockroaches,
- 34:46Speaker 2: old pizza, Like I ain't trying to mess with that
- 34:48Speaker 2: especially when I'm trying to stack these wins to the
- 34:50Speaker 2: Fantasy playoffs.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'm just imagining the apartment that Akim and Sidney moved
- 34:54Speaker 1: into and coming to America.
- 34:57Speaker 3: It is definitely scary, that scary day. Shame what they
- 35:00Speaker 3: did to that dog. Now I lost my train of
- 35:05Speaker 3: thought in this whole week. Yeah, I look, I mean
- 35:08Speaker 3: I like the idea.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Of Jamison Williams, and you know, obviously having Dan Campbell
- 35:11Speaker 1: call the place has certainly unlocked him. I would say
- 35:14Speaker 1: I have him. I will probably throw him in a lineup,
- 35:17Speaker 1: but yeah, you know, it's it's it's hard, it's kind
- 35:20Speaker 1: of scary. Right now, Let's get to the tight ends.
- 35:22Speaker 1: So you know, we obviously know the bar for starting
- 35:25Speaker 1: a tight end is low. Who your starts. And since
- 35:27Speaker 1: this week.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Mark Andrews because Bengals, they literally allowed the most and catches, yards, touchdowns,
- 35:33Speaker 3: and fantasy points allowed to tight ends this year, Dalton Schultz,
- 35:36Speaker 3: the floor has been a lot. I know last week
- 35:38Speaker 3: was disappointing, but outside of that, it's been a safe
- 35:40Speaker 3: floor with some upside there. Aj Barner since week five
- 35:45Speaker 3: is the second most targets on Seattle and the Vikings
- 35:48Speaker 3: have struggled against tight ends as of Lake Juwan Johnson
- 35:51Speaker 3: because the Dolphins have struggled against tight ends, Taysom Hill
- 35:54Speaker 3: because the Dolphins have struggled against running backs. They're two
- 35:57Speaker 3: different players. And then the since Dallas Goddard just the
- 36:02Speaker 3: usage I know, Rank pointed out on Fantasy Live how
- 36:05Speaker 3: banged up the linebacker group is for the Bears. Maybe
- 36:08Speaker 3: he scores a touchdown, but if you don't get that,
- 36:10Speaker 3: you're getting not a lot. Colson Lovelin, the Eagles have
- 36:13Speaker 3: just been so good defensively that it scares me. David
- 36:16Speaker 3: Njoku has two targets in each of the last two games.
- 36:20Speaker 3: He ran seven routes last week. You could drop him
- 36:23Speaker 3: before you could start him. And then Zach Ertz, he
- 36:26Speaker 3: has not scored double digits in any game with Marcus
- 36:28Speaker 3: Mariota and he gets the Broncos.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Yeah, Ertz was one of those guys just kind of
- 36:33Speaker 1: hanging around, like the top ten or twelve for a while.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Yeah. I think he's since falling out.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Niece Jayden danmes Man just go too. I mean the
- 36:40Speaker 2: security blanket. If you don't have Jayden Daniels that Ertz
- 36:43Speaker 2: is going to suffer.
- 36:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I mean, I think that applies to a lot of
- 36:46Speaker 1: the lot of the commanders. Do you do you want
- 36:51Speaker 1: to talk about the Saints tight end slash quarterback slash
- 36:54Speaker 1: running back.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I'm just really frustrated that you have his name next
- 36:56Speaker 2: to Juwan Johnson. Get him off dec We're not supposed
- 36:59Speaker 2: to be talking about Taysom Hill. And it's frustrating because
- 37:02Speaker 2: Juwan Johnson in over a month hasn't had less than
- 37:05Speaker 2: ten fantasy points. Why are we sticking him in a
- 37:08Speaker 2: position Taysom Hill in having any comparison like, I don't
- 37:11Speaker 2: care if Taysom Hill throws a touchdown to Juwan Johnson, cool,
- 37:13Speaker 2: But if Taysom Hill's gonna be catching passes, that's taking
- 37:16Speaker 2: food over of Jawan Johnson's plate. No, I don't need
- 37:19Speaker 2: any Taysom Hill none whatsoever. It's not like he's a
- 37:22Speaker 2: struggling tight end. Jawan Johnson can ball. He has the
- 37:25Speaker 2: ability to step up and give us tight end one
- 37:27Speaker 2: numbers that we deserve. But having Taysom Hill, it's like
- 37:30Speaker 2: toxic to the offense. Bro He's taking other people's fantasy points.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Devin Neil. I hope he gets goallying opportunity, but we
- 37:37Speaker 2: know that Taysom Hill is probably gonna get involved in
- 37:38Speaker 2: that as well.
- 37:39Speaker 1: The worst thing it's going to happen is you're gonna
- 37:41Speaker 1: see Taysom Hill in the shotgun from like the two
- 37:43Speaker 1: yard line.
- 37:44Speaker 3: It looks like he's gonna throw it to Jwan Johnson.
- 37:46Speaker 3: He's just gonna tuck it and run. Literally, both of
- 37:48Speaker 3: his passes came on the goal line like that. They
- 37:50Speaker 3: bring him in on that package that, like Juwan Johnson
- 37:54Speaker 3: is the safer play. But I think Taysom Hill's ceiling
- 37:57Speaker 3: is high.
- 37:57Speaker 2: He's capping Juwan Johnson this week. Basically what you're putting.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Into He's gonna be a running back. I think like
- 38:04Speaker 3: he's you're gonna get.
- 38:05Speaker 2: The goal one, Well, he's gonna do it. He's calling
- 38:07Speaker 2: the plays, he's doing everything. Okay, I mean it is
- 38:09Speaker 2: what it is.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Maybe it's an owner thing. I don't know. I mean,
- 38:14Speaker 3: I don't know. Kellen Moore just say no.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Talking a little Sunday Night football Broncos at the Commanders
- 38:20Speaker 1: La Kwan, how scary is Terry McLaurin and is hopeful
- 38:23Speaker 1: return to the field.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I mean, my boy hasn't been scary all season, to
- 38:27Speaker 2: be honest. It has just been scary with the floors
- 38:28Speaker 2: he's shown us. But I think at the end of
- 38:30Speaker 2: the day, if Terry mclaurin's on your roster, you already
- 38:33Speaker 2: have seen He's given us wide receiver two numbers at
- 38:35Speaker 2: best this season, only one game with more than five targets,
- 38:38Speaker 2: only one game with more than three catches. Like, there's
- 38:40Speaker 2: nothing exciting unless he finds the end zone. Last time
- 38:43Speaker 2: we saw him, he found the end zone in week eight.
- 38:45Speaker 2: We're just hoping and praying that he ends up finding
- 38:47Speaker 2: the end zone. For the most part, because Vium is
- 38:49Speaker 2: not coming this way. Marcus Mariota is a very low
- 38:52Speaker 2: bar of expectations for the rest of the pass catchers
- 38:54Speaker 2: that we talked about. So yeah, Talton prayers if you
- 38:58Speaker 2: have to start him this week.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean again, hopefully, hopefully Marcus Mariota is in
- 39:02Speaker 1: the text chain where they're like, hey, just throw it
- 39:03Speaker 1: to your good players, and you know somebody's just like, Hey,
- 39:06Speaker 1: Terry mclaurin's one of your good players.
- 39:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna put it out now. If Jadeen Daniels returns
- 39:10Speaker 3: like they're saying for Week fourteen, Terry's gonna be on
- 39:12Speaker 3: a lot of championship rosters.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Wow, I like that.
- 39:15Speaker 3: The Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys in the year. I like that.
- 39:19Speaker 3: I'm done with that completely.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Over to Monday Night Football. It's the Giants at the
- 39:23Speaker 1: Paytriots because you can see that game on ESPN, on
- 39:26Speaker 1: ABC and ESPN Deportes. I'm gonna ask you this question.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I think I know what you're going to say based
- 39:31Speaker 1: on what you've said earlier in the show. But if
- 39:33Speaker 1: you look at this the wide receivers on either side,
- 39:36Speaker 1: which one of them you think has the best outlook
- 39:38Speaker 1: this week?
- 39:38Speaker 3: Steph Diggs. Yeah. One, it's the New York Giants and
- 39:42Speaker 3: they struggle against wide receivers. But even more than that,
- 39:47Speaker 3: like last week, Steph Diggs played less than fifty percent
- 39:50Speaker 3: of the snaps. He had just three targets. To me,
- 39:53Speaker 3: I'm not I don't want to speculate, but I do
- 39:56Speaker 3: think they're they're kind of trying to ease Like they
- 39:59Speaker 3: know he's at an advanced age, they know he's coming
- 40:01Speaker 3: off of a serious injury. So I think they look
- 40:04Speaker 3: for times where they're like, we don't have to rely
- 40:06Speaker 3: on you as heavily as as we might have to
- 40:08Speaker 3: in some games. But this is a Monday night football
- 40:12Speaker 3: game with the nation watching. CARDI b might be an
- 40:15Speaker 3: attendance to those like I think he balls out in
- 40:19Speaker 3: a big way in this game. Plus it's a great matchup.
- 40:22Speaker 3: The Giants struggle against receivers in the slot, out wide, downfield.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Diggs does all of that, so yeah, I think he
- 40:27Speaker 3: goes off.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I'll even sleeper in this one too, Kashawan Boody. I
- 40:30Speaker 1: think the Giants give up the most deep completions of
- 40:33Speaker 1: any team in the league, and Booty's a dot is
- 40:37Speaker 1: right now about eighteen yards per target something like that,
- 40:40Speaker 1: so they are using him deep down the field. So
- 40:43Speaker 1: uh yeah, I think he has some sleeper vibes.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Dude, and free the feet. What a wide receiver room.
- 40:48Speaker 1: It's a weird white Well they're just throwing stuff on
- 40:50Speaker 1: Digs like you didn't have a weird digga.
- 40:52Speaker 3: He's just stuff on Diggs. So you know there's that part.
- 40:55Speaker 3: There's a joke there.
- 40:56Speaker 1: I let it go back, all right, there it is,
- 40:59Speaker 1: It's time to see who will deliver, presented by Uber Eats.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Time for our Week thirteen sleepers. Somebody from either the
- 41:07Speaker 1: Sunday or the Monday game.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Lakwan whodi you like.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I got Marvin Mims as a sleeper. I think Sean
- 41:12Speaker 2: Payton knows his name this week. I think you can
- 41:14Speaker 2: have the ability to do kind of whatever you want.
- 41:16Speaker 2: If you want to flex that you want to have
- 41:18Speaker 2: Marvin mins run out of the backfield, out of jet sweep, sure,
- 41:20Speaker 2: I think you could do whatever you want against his
- 41:22Speaker 2: commander's defense. They are cooked and I'm talking turkey in
- 41:25Speaker 2: the microwave. That is a flavor flavor reference. If you know,
- 41:27Speaker 2: you know, they are bad. So looking at Marvin mims man,
- 41:30Speaker 2: he is a guy that had some injuries concussion previous weeks.
- 41:33Speaker 2: I think he goes off this week as a sleeper.
- 41:36Speaker 3: Pat Bryant week is when I'm here. You know, I.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Nearly put Pat Bryant on my list of sleepers for
- 41:42Speaker 1: the week. I thought, I thought, very seriously.
- 41:45Speaker 3: That's my guy.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Though I was high on him as a prospect coming
- 41:48Speaker 2: into this summer, and I'm glad that he is starting
- 41:50Speaker 2: to make his way as a solid wide receiver to
- 41:52Speaker 2: a part of the collection of whatever Sean Payton wants
- 41:55Speaker 2: to deploy that week.
- 41:56Speaker 3: I mean, it's just really a throw a dard.
- 41:57Speaker 1: It's mems, it's Troy Franklin, it's I think it's Troy Frankly.
- 42:01Speaker 2: I think we take them out of it. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:03Speaker 2: I think we put Courtland's son as one of the
- 42:05Speaker 2: collect I think those two.
- 42:06Speaker 3: Are the top, and then everyone else is kind.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Of yeah, it's just figure it out at that point,
- 42:12Speaker 1: who's your sleeper, Florio.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Who's playing the Bills this week? The Steelers? Oh, so
- 42:16Speaker 3: Kenneth Gainwell, because I watched the Bills weekly and they
- 42:19Speaker 3: get ran all over weekly. But even more than that,
- 42:23Speaker 3: last week he had six targets from Mason Rudolph. The
- 42:25Speaker 3: week before that he had eight targets from Aaron Rodgers.
- 42:27Speaker 3: So he's clearly going to be utilized in the passing game.
- 42:30Speaker 3: It is a game where the Steelers could be playing
- 42:32Speaker 3: and catch it mode that leads to more targets for him.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Gainwell has surprisingly been a very useful flex like in
- 42:38Speaker 3: one league, I've had to use them, and I'm every
- 42:40Speaker 3: week I'm like, I don't really, and then I'm like
- 42:41Speaker 3: pleasantly surprised. Yeah, no, it's well.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Last week he had what I think in eighty yards rushing,
- 42:47Speaker 1: ninety yards rushing, way before he had eighty yards receiving,
- 42:51Speaker 1: so he's doing it in multiple ways, but he is
- 42:54Speaker 1: getting it.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Doesn't see a lot of touches to do damage too.
- 42:56Speaker 2: That's what's even crazier.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Right throwing the fact that the Steelers just can't consistently
- 43:00Speaker 1: throw the football too, so they got lean on their
- 43:02Speaker 1: running backs to get it done one way or another.
- 43:05Speaker 1: My sleeper for the week is Dalton Schultz down there
- 43:07Speaker 1: with the Houston Texans, and I don't particularly care if
- 43:09Speaker 1: it's CJ. Shroud or Davis Mills throwing the football. Over
- 43:13Speaker 1: the last few weeks, going back to I think Week seven,
- 43:15Speaker 1: it is Dalton Schultz has been the number two target
- 43:18Speaker 1: behind Nico Collins. And yeah, we've seen Jaden Higgins work in,
- 43:21Speaker 1: We've seen some other guys get some opportunities, but it
- 43:23Speaker 1: really has been mostly Collins and Schultz getting those opportunities.
- 43:27Speaker 1: On top of it, big matchup against the Colts, big
- 43:29Speaker 1: one in the AFC South, and Indy has been bad
- 43:32Speaker 1: against the tight end position pretty much all year long,
- 43:35Speaker 1: So I think an opportunity with some volume there for
- 43:38Speaker 1: Dalton Schultz to make some plays.
- 43:40Speaker 3: And you know, he's.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Kind of he's been good enough that he's almost graduated
- 43:46Speaker 1: out of sleeper because of what he's done over the
- 43:48Speaker 1: last few weeks. But we're going to try and just
- 43:49Speaker 1: shoehorn it in at least one more time, and then
- 43:52Speaker 1: if he balls out again this week, then I guess
- 43:54Speaker 1: he no longer counts as a sleeper and he's just
- 43:56Speaker 1: a guy that you're going to start at this point.
- 43:58Speaker 1: So that was Who Deliver, presented by Uber Eats, where
- 44:02Speaker 1: you can get the best deals on game day food
- 44:04Speaker 1: all season long, the official on demand delivery partner of
- 44:07Speaker 1: the NFL Order Now, so here it is. This is
- 44:10Speaker 1: what we got. Two weeks left of the fantasy regular
- 44:12Speaker 1: season and that's all over.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Yeah, two weeks to get in and then you got
- 44:16Speaker 3: three weeks to win it all.
- 44:18Speaker 1: So you got five weeks left in this fantasy season.
- 44:21Speaker 1: It has flown by. And of course we'll be here
- 44:24Speaker 1: with the pretty much every step of the way the
- 44:26Speaker 1: rest of the way to help you out with some
- 44:27Speaker 1: of your start sit decisions and all those other things
- 44:30Speaker 1: that you need to do. But for now, that is it.
- 44:33Speaker 3: We are done.
- 44:34Speaker 1: We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
- 44:36Speaker 1: You know the drill, Tell two friends to tell two friends,
- 44:39Speaker 1: rate review and remember an apple a day keeps anyone away.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Throw it hard enough.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Saves, take care of yourselves. Enjoy Week thirteen. We'll talk
- 44:46Speaker 1: to you again on Monday.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Wo I'll tell help Bob, I'll tell heilt
- 45:13Speaker 1: Log h
