- 0:15Speaker 2: Thanks mate, I reckon, Thanks mate, Thanks so much mate.
- 0:18Speaker 3: And second new lid man, Hey, what was that an
- 0:22Speaker 3: eight minute?
- 0:22Speaker 4: Cat? Was it like a four minute I've got a
- 0:25Speaker 4: really a.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Great job to be fair to. I mean knew the
- 0:27Speaker 2: pressure was on. One of the guys was running late,
- 0:29Speaker 2: and so he's just checked me in another cheer.
- 0:31Speaker 4: And yeah, see eight minutes? Right? How much was that
- 0:35Speaker 4: fifty bucks? See?
- 0:36Speaker 5: I've got this issue where I have a regular place
- 0:38Speaker 5: I go get my haircut. It's always good. One of
- 0:40Speaker 5: the guys on who does it for fifteen minutes, whereas
- 0:42Speaker 5: everyone else takes half an hour? Really is right, you know,
- 0:45Speaker 5: very thorough about things. Yeah, I don't like going to
- 0:48Speaker 5: the fifteen minute guy because I think he's rushing it.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I need I needed a fifteen minute man, you
- 0:52Speaker 4: see you need that? See, yeah, today I did.
- 0:55Speaker 6: I'm quite excited actually because a barber has literally opened
- 0:59Speaker 6: about fifty meters of my house.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Literally and you shure it's not figuratively.
- 1:03Speaker 6: I feel, and he's done a really good list. There's
- 1:07Speaker 6: been this this really manky old dairy that they've been
- 1:10Speaker 6: trying to lease for ages that used to be.
- 1:12Speaker 3: A dairy with the fish and chip shop next to it.
- 1:14Speaker 6: No, it's further up the road from there, in between
- 1:18Speaker 6: those two diaries.
- 1:19Speaker 4: You should take it over.
- 1:20Speaker 6: Well, My wife and I were constantly looking at it,
- 1:23Speaker 6: going what could we do in there? What can we
- 1:25Speaker 6: sell on there? Because it's a great little location. But
- 1:29Speaker 6: he's done a great job, looks really good. So I'm
- 1:31Speaker 6: going to give him a bit of a whirl and
- 1:33Speaker 6: see how he goes. It'd be very handy to have
- 1:35Speaker 6: something I can literally walk figurative literally literally incidentally, is
- 1:42Speaker 6: it a jacket.
- 1:42Speaker 7: You're wearing or a shit?
- 1:43Speaker 4: It's a shacket.
- 1:45Speaker 3: It's a shacket, right, genuinely, it's a shacket.
- 1:49Speaker 4: That's what's written on the tag it. Yeah, never heard.
- 1:51Speaker 7: Of a shacket, but I was looking at it, going it's.
- 1:54Speaker 6: Either a very it's a really very demp shirt or
- 1:58Speaker 6: some kind of light jajacket.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Yeah, No, it's a it's a really it's a thin jacket,
- 2:03Speaker 5: so you'd wear this with something warm underneath it.
- 2:05Speaker 3: If you needed to be warmer, it's like an you'd wear.
- 2:09Speaker 2: For EXAMPLET at the moment, which is like that you
- 2:12Speaker 2: have to wear a hoodie underneath. But unfortunately today I
- 2:14Speaker 2: was wearing I was wearing a black T shirt. I
- 2:17Speaker 2: went and got some hoodies to go underneath my jackets,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and I obviously didn't realize that they just drop all
- 2:24Speaker 2: of the affair. It was a gray hoodie on a
- 2:27Speaker 2: black T shirt. So I had to get changed from
- 2:28Speaker 2: the car on the way here because it was just
- 2:31Speaker 2: covin and there.
- 2:32Speaker 7: I've got some hoodies.
- 2:33Speaker 4: If you need hoodies, yeah, I'll.
- 2:35Speaker 7: Tell you what.
- 2:36Speaker 4: No, i'll tell you what. I'll tell you what. Okay,
- 2:40Speaker 4: I had I had.
- 2:41Speaker 2: To get some zip up hoodies because I hate pull
- 2:47Speaker 2: over hoodies. I've just decided I can't see them. So
- 2:49Speaker 2: I've got some at home, and I mon't bring them
- 2:51Speaker 2: in for you guys, because I'm just I'm just not
- 2:53Speaker 2: gonna wear them.
- 2:54Speaker 3: What do you hate about them?
- 2:55Speaker 2: I don't like pulling them over my head yea, and
- 2:57Speaker 2: have and have my hair messed up, and even to
- 2:59Speaker 2: deal with that, because you don't know if you look
- 3:02Speaker 2: at absolute shambles or not.
- 3:04Speaker 4: I'm just I'm good. Now you can tell me what.
- 3:09Speaker 7: No, it's just gonna say. One of my.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Massive bugby is at the moment is my youngest daughter
- 3:16Speaker 6: must have about fifty hoodies. Two of them are hers,
- 3:22Speaker 6: the rest are all just her mates r and teenage kids, smoker.
- 3:27Speaker 7: I don't know if you've noticed this.
- 3:28Speaker 6: They're big fans of the massively oversized, massively baggy hookie hoodies.
- 3:35Speaker 7: And our wash is perpetually.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Like five hundred fucking hoodies, and you know, and and
- 3:47Speaker 6: they take up all the space. They're just everywhere. It
- 3:51Speaker 6: does my head, and I've started wearing them.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I'm glad that I grew up as a teenager and
- 3:55Speaker 2: through those years it was the era of everybody was
- 3:58Speaker 2: wearing skin tight shit.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I far prefer that, y.
- 4:02Speaker 5: That's what's interesting is when I was your youngest daughter's age,
- 4:05Speaker 5: it was all about baggy hoodies as well. Yes, And
- 4:08Speaker 5: so my mum and dad used to get furious because
- 4:10Speaker 5: I was always in a beggy or hoodie, had the
- 4:11Speaker 5: hood up. So I'm glad that that's come full circle.
- 4:17Speaker 4: And yeah, pretty much, yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Even not even there's a massive hoodies, but also the
- 4:28Speaker 6: massive jeans are the baggy jeans massive baggy jeans and
- 4:33Speaker 6: like my youngest daughter, she's a slim ass, and it's like, God,
- 4:39Speaker 6: just get a pair of pen a pan that fits you.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Do you know what?
- 4:43Speaker 5: Would genuinely like I'm obviously happy to be embarrassed to
- 4:48Speaker 5: no end. I don't care photos of me in early
- 4:52Speaker 5: high school on the weekend at the weekend, with the
- 4:56Speaker 5: clothes I was wearing. If that got out, I would
- 4:58Speaker 5: be genuinely embarrassed. Great, it's that bad silk boxes, really
- 5:02Speaker 5: baggy shit head on backwards with like Allie Well, I
- 5:06Speaker 5: had this how you could fold down the inside bit
- 5:09Speaker 5: and it would look like you had like a black
- 5:10Speaker 5: skull cap under yeah, or that sideways.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean like genuinely The.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Who Archy Big Show wed days from four on Radio
- 5:21Speaker 1: Hurrarchy The Wary Big Show Podcast.
- 5:25Speaker 7: I've got to be honest.
- 5:26Speaker 6: My my fashions back in the day weren't good. They
- 5:29Speaker 6: weren't good.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Shall we try and find and.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Also as a teenager I have I had harendous acne.
- 5:39Speaker 6: There's one photo that is the most disgusting photo you
- 5:46Speaker 6: will ever see of hoy j W.
- 5:51Speaker 7: And it was in our school journal.
- 5:54Speaker 6: I want to give I don't want to give too
- 5:56Speaker 6: much information away here, because I'll be fucked if that's
- 5:59Speaker 6: ever going to air again again. My And it was
- 6:03Speaker 6: me as Captain Andy on showat in full makeup but
- 6:09Speaker 6: with like really oily skin.
- 6:11Speaker 7: And just.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Volcanic and a side middle parting that was so slipped down.
- 6:20Speaker 6: I was fifteen with the worst acne and they published
- 6:24Speaker 6: that in the school journal.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I'll have a copy of that on fire with now.
- 6:29Speaker 6: And our English teacher at the time, he was he
- 6:30Speaker 6: was a cool dude and got Tony.
- 6:32Speaker 7: Ross's name was.
- 6:34Speaker 6: We used to call him Stony Ross because he was
- 6:36Speaker 6: just so he looked like he was absolutely stoned all
- 6:39Speaker 6: the time. And he said, oh, I just saw that
- 6:41Speaker 6: photo in the school journey journal of the adjacent's not
- 6:45Speaker 6: the best. And the thing was Stoney was in charge
- 6:51Speaker 6: of the school journal.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Was son of a similar thing where I got a
- 6:55Speaker 2: school photo done. I had some kind of open sore
- 6:58Speaker 2: on my chin, remember what it was from. And then
- 7:02Speaker 2: they were handing out all of the they were handing
- 7:05Speaker 2: out all of the school photos to the class, to
- 7:09Speaker 2: your homeroom, you know. And the teacher's name was mister Sweet,
- 7:14Speaker 2: mister Sweet, but it was sweet for Sweetanovitch. He sort
- 7:18Speaker 2: to drop off the Anovitch there in Livin and handle out.
- 7:23Speaker 2: He goes ah, And I was horrendously self conscious about
- 7:26Speaker 2: it as it was. By the time the photos got
- 7:28Speaker 2: handled out, of course, it was gone. And you've gotta
- 7:30Speaker 2: get a photo with that on your face. And he
- 7:31Speaker 2: goes ah, Did you cut yourself shaving that morning?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Did you? Yeah?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Real funny, hoss, I haven't even got cues. You just
- 7:38Speaker 2: feel like shit. Just act like you haven't seen it, man.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Yeah, Get the teachers, get their kexts back. That's where
- 7:45Speaker 5: they get their punches in.
- 7:46Speaker 6: This is This was like a super close up of
- 7:50Speaker 6: a sweaty oily. Had fifty massive zits on my face
- 7:57Speaker 6: as well. This not just one sort of rogue one
- 8:01Speaker 6: in my entire face. I was like a reptile.
- 8:04Speaker 3: That's right, because you went on the pells to get
- 8:06Speaker 3: rid of those, as.
- 8:06Speaker 7: I did, I had to go.
- 8:09Speaker 6: I had I had what was called by a skin
- 8:11Speaker 6: specialist moderately severe acne, so I ended up taking vitamins.
- 8:17Speaker 7: I had to take vitamins any.
- 8:21Speaker 6: And this gel that was essentially like acid, so that
- 8:25Speaker 6: when you put it on your face, I looked like
- 8:27Speaker 6: someone that had stayed out of Chernobyl because my skin
- 8:31Speaker 6: was literally peeling off my face.
- 8:33Speaker 7: It was that full on and what so.
- 8:36Speaker 4: That era too.
- 8:37Speaker 5: I feel like some of the treatments now you'd look
- 8:39Speaker 5: back and go, all those are a bit dodgy.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Yeah, we definitely if you were pregnant, it would be like,
- 8:45Speaker 6: oh god, no, you can't be taking that shit.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Yeah, we should try and find the most embarrassing photos
- 8:51Speaker 5: of us.
- 8:52Speaker 6: Wow, I'm happy to do that, as long as it's
- 8:55Speaker 6: not that one doesn't that it was a shock.
- 8:57Speaker 4: I have some memories for you something.
- 9:00Speaker 5: It shows how you used to dress at the weekends
- 9:02Speaker 5: when you're hanging out with your mates.
- 9:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I've got quite a few of Johnny and I
- 9:06Speaker 6: around the time, and.
- 9:09Speaker 7: There was there was some strange fashions.
- 9:12Speaker 6: Yes, there's some weirdast Interestingly, my daughter Millie is kind
- 9:17Speaker 6: of similar, but she's way cool of them. She's actually
- 9:22Speaker 6: actually cool And actually she'd be disgusted that I said that.
- 9:26Speaker 6: She's nothing like me, but she's been about out there too,
- 9:30Speaker 6: But she's cool out there as opposed to Jay.
- 9:32Speaker 7: That was just like trying to find something to wear
- 9:35Speaker 7: and you just put on what was ever, whatever was.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Did you Did you ever just wear silk boxes?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Making You've never worn boxes in my life? Hate them?
- 9:44Speaker 5: There was about five years thereere I just wore silk boxes,
- 9:47Speaker 5: nothing underneath them, and it's like, what's the.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Point in wood all the time.
- 9:52Speaker 5: This is totally what I hated, was just balls slapping
- 9:55Speaker 5: around the five years.
- 9:56Speaker 7: Well, yeah, I mean I'm not gonna I don't want
- 9:59Speaker 7: to go on about here.
- 10:00Speaker 3: We go whatever you say this it means you do
- 10:02Speaker 3: you do want to.
- 10:04Speaker 7: My massive sean? Yeah that I never liked the boxer.
- 10:08Speaker 7: I need. I need the security of being you know, compacted.
- 10:13Speaker 4: And it's a public public safety issue.
- 10:17Speaker 2: If you're swinging around down there, typical people could be
- 10:20Speaker 2: seriously hurt.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Like Ben.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like I think it's kramer A that says
- 10:25Speaker 5: my boys need a house to you they need a house?
