Speaker 1: Hi there, welcome back to Empower your Soul.
• 0:03
Speaker 1: I am here today to talk about the wonky energy that you might be experiencing in your readings and or as somebody who is receiving a reading.
• 0:13
Speaker 1: Now, this is not an outdated podcast episode.
• 0:16
Speaker 1: I am recording it Thursday before this is being released on Friday, and I thought it was really important to talk about because I know I'm not the only one experiencing this really wonky energy.
• 0:28
Speaker 1: That is definitely the technical term, by the way, because what I have found, both for myself as well as my students, my amazing women so far if you're a man you want to join, I want you there too but my amazing women in the mediumship mastermind and what I've experienced as well as them, is that when we are trying to set the intention to collect, to connect to departed loved ones, for example, we're getting spirit guides in with this reading.
• 0:55
Speaker 1: When we're setting the intention to connect with spirit guides, maybe we're getting a little bit of Akashic in there and or other departed loved ones in there.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: So we're just finding that maintaining the vibration and intention of the readings has been very difficult to do and we don't always know where the messages or evidence are coming from, which is frustrating as hell.
• 1:19
Speaker 1: It is so freaking, frustrating everybody and you're like what is going on, freaking frustrating everybody, and you're like what is going on.
• 1:27
Speaker 1: In addition, when you are receiving those messages or those evidence, that evidence let me use the right tense of word we're finding, and I'm finding that the evidence tends to be a little more generic, it's a little more general.
• 1:40
Speaker 1: It might be fuzzy.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: Coming in, it might not feel as good.
• 1:44
Speaker 1: Coming in, it might not feel as solid or as deep as it used to, which is also really frustrating.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: And so a lot of the times, we tend to look at ourselves and wonder what's going on.
• 2:00
Speaker 1: Is it just me?
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: I mean, I'm.
• 2:02
Speaker 1: I have so many friends, as you can imagine, in the metaphysical space that when they have a shitty reading, they reach out and be like what's with the energy today?
• 2:11
Speaker 1: What's with the energy today?
• 2:12
Speaker 1: And you know, sometimes I'll respond hey, yeah, it's really off.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: Or hey, I'm not sure mine's, mine's okay today.
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: What's going on?
• 2:18
Speaker 1: So we tend to like want to reach out and be in.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: It's normal for us to want to reach out and get validation on what is.
• 2:25
Speaker 1: What are other people experiencing with the energy that's going on?
• 2:28
Speaker 1: And I'm here today to tell you if you are having wonky energy readings, you are not alone.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: This is a collective problem.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: This is not a you problem.
• 2:36
Speaker 1: So let's talk about what's going on, and I had to channel my guides and ask them questions to help me understand energetically why this is happening to many different people at the same time.
• 2:48
Speaker 1: They identified it was one of two reasons and probably both of these reasons at the same time.
• 2:57
Speaker 1: So it all breaks down to your individual energy as well as your collective energy, and it's kind of like the molding of the two that are causing a lot of this frustration, chaos, unpredictability energetically with our readings.
• 3:13
Speaker 1: So let's start with our energy first, because, as I asked my team, what's up with personal energy at this very confusing, chaotic energy time right now?
• 3:24
Speaker 1: Now they identified that there's a lot of people going through and processing personal traumas and, as I'm saying this out loud right now, they're downloading more information into my head and they're identifying like look at what's going on with astrology right now, like I believe that saturn has now transitioned into Aries.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: I need to learn my astrology everybody.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: I am an Aries rising in moon, so that is going to hit me really hard because the Saturn is all about the uncovering, the unearthing, the moving through like moving through trauma, creating new.
• 4:00
Speaker 1: Those of you that do astrology, you can butcher me on this, you could run circles around me right now, but there's a lot of uncovering and a lot of personal growth and personal transformations going on right now, energetically, astrologically, etc.
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: Right now.
• 4:13
Speaker 1: So not only are, like literally, the planets and the moon aligned with a lot of change and churn energetically for us, but also I'm going to say it with the state of the world.
• 4:25
Speaker 1: Right now you might not be in your best place mentally, you might be freaking out.
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 4:31
Speaker 1: If you are not freaking out with the state of the world, what are you on?
• 4:35
Speaker 1: Can you send some my way?
• 4:36
Speaker 1: That would be fantastic.
• 4:37
Speaker 1: But for the rest of us that are trying to not what's the right word For the rest of us that are kind of just trying to survive the day-to-day, that day-to-day survival can wreak havoc on your own energy.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: So if you're not taking care of you and your energy and making sure you're grounded and clear every single day, that can really be impacted by the energy that's all around you.
• 5:06
Speaker 1: So number one is your energy.
• 5:08
Speaker 1: If you're not clear and in your best energetic self.
• 5:10
Speaker 1: That's going to make you more susceptible to the external influences that are going on energetically.
• 5:16
Speaker 1: So let's talk about those external energetic influences right now, which is a lot of what I just alluded to.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: But there's a lot going on in the world right now of what I just alluded to.
• 5:26
Speaker 1: But there's a lot going on in the world right now, again, astrologically, but also politically, economically, socially.
• 5:33
Speaker 1: There's a lot going on right now and a lot of what's going on tends to be more extreme vibrations of energy.
• 5:39
Speaker 1: People are either ecstatic or people are depressed.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: Right, there's really not a lot of people in between.
• 5:45
Speaker 1: I'm going to say heightened and lowering.
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: It's like a wave.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: Right, it's like we're getting, they're draining the ocean and also they're having tsunamis at the same time right now.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: That's really like the extreme depiction of the energy that's going on right now.
• 6:03
Speaker 1: It's very extreme in one way or the other.
• 6:05
Speaker 1: There's not a lot in between.
• 6:06
Speaker 1: So, as a result of this very extreme intense energy, it's very unstable.
• 6:12
Speaker 1: The energy is very chaotic all around us as a member of this collective energy.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: And so if you are somebody who is either totally involved in understanding and watching everything that's going on energetically and or somebody who's just trying to plug in once or twice a day to make sure the world isn't going to collapse.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: Either way, you're tapped into that collective energy and, again, if you aren't protecting your own energy, you're going to be influenced by the chaos that is contributing to the collective energy all around you.
• 6:48
Speaker 1: So that's why I said it's a combination of your personal energy as well as the collective energy and likely the overlap between the two that's causing a lot of chaos that's going around Now again, and I'm going to give you some strategies on how to address this.
• 7:07
Speaker 1: I have four that they called out for me.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: But the impact of all of this swirling personal and collective energy is that it is much harder to read.
• 7:22
Speaker 1: So it's trying to read energy and it's like pea soup or like, right, cloudy with a chance of meatballs.
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: Remember that book?
• 7:32
Speaker 1: Right, you would have to like walk through the pea soup.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: Is that the book that I'm thinking about?
• 7:35
Speaker 1: But essentially, we're trying to read through really, really dense fog right now.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: If we had to put a picture to it.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: So us trying to figure out what is this big picture?
• 7:45
Speaker 1: What are the specifics?
• 7:46
Speaker 1: It's really hard to do in fog, right?
• 7:47
Speaker 1: You can't see more than two inches in front of you, and that's the reality of the readings right now is that you can't really see more than two inches in front of you.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: You might not know where the message is coming from through the fog.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: You might not be able to know the direction of travel through the fog.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: You might not have the specifics of what does that house look like through the fog.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: And that's essentially what's happening energetically with our readings.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: But what is so cool about working with this fog is spirit is still all knowing.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: Spirit is still incredibly knowledgeable and versatile and making sure that, even if it's not our best day for reading, they can still get the message delivered.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: So they are going to take the energy and flow the easiest way through this fog in order for you to be able to deliver what you need to deliver for your clients today or for you, as a sitter, receive.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: They're going to deliver what you need to be, what you need to receive, in the easiest way possible.
• 8:42
Speaker 1: So they're going to deliver what what you need to be, what you need to receive in the easiest way possible.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: So they're going to kind of take it and they're going to go through the valleys and they're going to figure out what's the easiest way to flow this information and it's still going to be a meaningful message.
• 8:53
Speaker 1: So I I think that's the, and the bottom line is that, like, don't worry too much, you're not doing anything wrong.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: Spirit's going to work double hard to try to get it through to you.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: Um, it's just going to feel a little bit off and look a little bit different, but just go with the flow.
• 9:11
Speaker 1: It's essentially kind of what they told me, because when the energy is this chaotic, something has to break and you have to trust that spirit's going to be able to bring that evidence through or bring that message through in the best way possible.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: But let's talk about some other strategies that you can use to hopefully get this a little clearer and better for you.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: So actually, the first two are not that, but let's talk about it.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: So the first thing you can do is, if you truly feel off, if you truly don't feel like you can get a good reading today, I mean, the best thing to do let's be honest with all of you is to reschedule your client and or, if you're a client that's having a really, really off day, reschedule with your reader.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: That's OK If we're paying money and there's an exchange of money, there needs to be an equal exchange of energy and if you cannot equally exchange that energy for that money, you should be rescheduling the reading period.
• 10:05
Speaker 1: I know personally, I have a no refunds clause on my website.
• 10:14
Speaker 1: But if someone reaches out to me and says, hey, I really want to reschedule this, I'm not having my best day, or I'm not having my best day, I'm going to reach out and reschedule with you and that's like, ethically, what we should be doing as mediums and sitters for these readings.
• 10:24
Speaker 1: So number one is reschedule that bad boy, okay.
• 10:28
Speaker 1: Number two is if you're feeling good, but maybe not as confident as the reader, so if it's a pretty good, energetic day, you think you can proceed with the reading, but you're still not sure because it's been really inconsistent lately, just say that with the sitter, and the intention is not to give a cop out, but it is to be honest and saying hey, this is what the readings have been like lately.
• 10:53
Speaker 1: This is well known in the metaphysical industry that the energy has been really thick and difficult.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: Oh my God, I have.
• 11:01
Speaker 1: Oh my God, I have an ant that's crawling on me.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: I just, if you were on my video, you would have seen.
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: I just jumped a mile.
• 11:06
Speaker 1: Can someone look up ant spirit guide for me?
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: Oh, you can't make this shit up.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: No more eating in the office.
• 11:22
Speaker 1: Apparently it is officially ant season, so just like that, they'll surprise you everybody.
• 11:34
Speaker 1: So I would say, if you are having a pretty good, energetic day, but you're not sure, just tell the setter.
• 11:36
Speaker 1: Just be like, hey, it might come in a little bit differently today.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: Are you willing to work a little bit more with me today?
• 11:41
Speaker 1: Just let me know if something doesn't land.
• 11:43
Speaker 1: And if at some point during the reading again you don't feel like your best self, you can always, you know, refund or reschedule, and that's okay too.
• 11:51
Speaker 1: So just let the sitter know.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: And honestly, I find personally that when I let the sitter know that, hey, things have been just been coming in a little bit differently and let me know if something doesn't resonate with you because my team's working with me differently or the energy is a little bit differently today, for me to say that out loud, that's not my cop out, that actually allows me to.
• 12:11
Speaker 1: I'm going to say it like relax my ego a little bit and let the sitter know right off the bat, so that I just let the information flow through.
• 12:19
Speaker 1: It kind of gives me a sigh of relief and makes me feel a little more comfortable.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: Personally, about the reading, again, I don't know how the sitter feels about that, but I can tell you it allows me to read a little bit better.
• 12:29
Speaker 1: Again, I don't know how the sitter feels about that, but I can tell you it allows me to read a little bit better.
• 12:32
Speaker 1: So if that resonates with you, give that a try.
• 12:33
Speaker 1: See how that goes.
• 12:33
Speaker 1: Number three I would say, as you've probably already figured out by now, you should work on your own energy before reading.
• 12:43
Speaker 1: So, as I mentioned, it's two failure points right now it's your energy as well as the collective energy.
• 12:50
Speaker 1: So what you should do is work on your energy.
• 12:53
Speaker 1: So what does that look like?
• 12:54
Speaker 1: I think it means that we have to try a little bit harder to make sure our energy is as clear as possible for these readings.
• 13:03
Speaker 1: So what that looks like is maybe doing some morning routines, some morning meditation to clear your energy, making sure that before you sit down with a sitter, you are grounding your energy, you are clearing your energy.
• 13:17
Speaker 1: Maybe you're sitting in the Akashic records or maybe, again, you're sitting in meditation.
• 13:21
Speaker 1: They're sitting in the power before you get into your reading, maybe a little bit more than you used to.
• 13:26
Speaker 1: So by clearing your own energy and creating your best possible vessel to be a conduit for spirit, you are going to set yourself up for the most success possible at times where this energy gets really wonky.
• 13:42
Speaker 1: So again, grounding, clearing, centering, you can protect as well.
• 13:48
Speaker 1: You can put you and you and your center in this energetic bubble to try to like push out again the collective energy, which is where I'll go to in a minute.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: But you can protect your energy as well so that during the readings you're not getting as tied up in, maybe the interference of the energy and the frequencies that are going on.
• 14:06
Speaker 1: And then number four, and this is a different one, and I've done this a couple times where I've needed to in a reading, but this bear with me because I don't think this is listed anywhere.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: I don't know if anyone actually talks about this.
• 14:19
Speaker 1: So this is like your secret Nicole, private tip, which I'm going to start giving more of those, because the way that I look at things if you haven't figured this out by now is very different than most mediums and the way that my team explains things to me tends to be very different than most mediums, but the way that my team kind of shows this to me is that most of us are in this collective energy tower.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: So has anyone seen the fire towers where the firefighters practice going up like?
• 14:49
Speaker 1: And they have like a tower, like a three story tower in the middle of a parking lot that they'll light on fire, the firefighters and they'll use it to like practice going up up through three stories through like really thick, dense smoke, like that's how they show me the collective energy is and so it's not.
• 15:12
Speaker 1: Sorry I'm pausing for a second because I realized how ridiculous this sounds.
• 15:14
Speaker 1: So essentially, the collective energy is like you are in that tower as the firefighter trying to fight through all this fog, all of this really thick smoke, but that's the collective energy.
• 15:26
Speaker 1: So you can actually choose to step outside and not be in that collective energy.
• 15:32
Speaker 1: So this is kind of your fourth method to dealing with this chaotic energy right now is you can actually step outside the collective energy and step more directly into the light of God, the light of the angels, the light of the ascended masters, your loved ones, in the light of heaven, and really just like physically remove yourself from the collective and step more into the spirit world than maybe we used to before.
• 15:57
Speaker 1: So what does that mean?
• 15:59
Speaker 1: What does that look like?
• 15:59
Speaker 1: Is that you can literally set the intention to step outside the collective energy, literally like, take the collective energy, push it to the side of you and not be in that energy?
• 16:11
Speaker 1: Maybe that means that if you know that you're in a physical space that's a little heavier in that collective energy.
• 16:18
Speaker 1: Maybe you're in the middle of the city, I don't know.
• 16:20
Speaker 1: Maybe you are like in a space where a lot of people talk about what's going on politically, maybe you practice there.
• 16:28
Speaker 1: Maybe that means like you go and drive somewhere and practice somewhere else.
• 16:31
Speaker 1: Maybe you go to a different physical space that feels lighter and energy so that you're not sitting in that that really thick energy.
• 16:39
Speaker 1: Maybe that means that you clear your space energetically.
• 16:43
Speaker 1: It's not just you Now.
• 16:44
Speaker 1: You're clearing your space, you're saging your space, you're setting intentions with crystals or incense etc.
• 16:51
Speaker 1: To clear your space before you do the reading, and so that's kind of what I mean.
• 16:57
Speaker 1: It's not just you, it's also your space and stepping outside of that collective energy.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: Don't go in that fire tower, stay outside of it for your reading.
• 17:06
Speaker 1: So again, either through intention or by literally changing your space, which is really funny.
• 17:15
Speaker 1: And now two and two go together, because I had a reading, I had a mentoring session this morning and the card was literally and I don't have it otherwise I would read it was literally like go and journey, go outside, like be outside.
• 17:34
Speaker 1: So if you have the chance to read outside or read in a different space, give it a try and see what difference it makes on your readings.
• 17:40
Speaker 1: So those are kind of the four tips that I have for you in terms of how to deal with this energy.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: I just want you to know that you're not alone.
• 17:49
Speaker 1: You're not alone if your readings seem, seem weird, seem off, seem wonky.
• 17:55
Speaker 1: And when they do seem weird and often wonky, it's really good to check in with other metaphysical practitioners Maybe I can pronounce that right Metaphysical practitioners and see if they're experiencing the same thing.
• 18:08
Speaker 1: And I think that's the most wonderful thing about the Managership Mastermind is that we can use our Voxer group chat and we can check in with each other and say, hey, how's it going today?
• 18:16
Speaker 1: What's going on today?
• 18:18
Speaker 1: Is your, are your readings Okay or is it?
• 18:20
Speaker 1: Is it a me problem or is it a collective problem?
• 18:22
Speaker 1: So that allows us to really take a look at what's going on a little more objectively, I think, because I can't pronounce words, I think I'm almost done here.
• 18:31
  Speaker 1: It's, it's, I don't know.
• 18:40
Speaker 1: Maybe I need to channel differently.
• 18:41
Speaker 1: Anyway, so there you go.
• 18:41
Speaker 1: And then I also had spirit pull two cards for me before I go today and I'm pulling this from the energy and spirit Oracle by Sandra and Taylor and they had me pick two different cards today, and the first one is number 11.
• 18:57
Speaker 1: This is emotional desert.
• 18:59
Speaker 1: The words on here are inactivity and isolation.
• 19:03
Speaker 1: So I just want to let you know if you are going through an emotional desert right now, you're not alone.
• 19:08
Speaker 1: And if you're self-isolating again with what I've talked about today, I'm not surprised.
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: You're not alone.
• 19:14
Speaker 1: But also, this isn't the time to snooze, because the next card is number 25, goddess of dreams, and it says vision, intuition, receptivity, and so it's okay that you're going inward, that that things seem dry and slow Right now, that's okay, but it doesn't mean that you're it's time to stop or rest, because what this is telling me is, while there's a lot of chaos going on right now, there's a lot of churn, there's a lot of personal development on right now.
• 19:43
Speaker 1: This is the time to work on yourself, work on your vision, work on your mission and really strategize so that when the ball starts moving again, when you're out of that emotional desert and you start going into the mirage of the jungle in the middle of the desert, right Once you start seeing land and beauty and greenery and water, you have to be ready for it.
• 20:06
Speaker 1: You don't want to start planning when things get better.
• 20:08
Speaker 1: You plan when things are bad and slow and dry so that when things go, start moving and churning and chugging along, you can reap the rewards of that.
• 20:20
Speaker 1: So I just want to reflect that back to you that just because it might be slow or hermit mode, it is not time for you to rest.
• 20:28
Speaker 1: It is time for you to start planning and strategizing so you can reap the rewards later on.
• 20:32
Speaker 1: And that is your card poll of the day.
• 20:35
Speaker 1: I hope this episode was really helpful.
• 20:37
  Speaker 1: Stay tuned.
• 20:40
Speaker 1: I have some ideas for June.
• 20:41
Speaker 1: I'm just going to say stay tuned.
• 20:43
Speaker 1: I think I'm going to do a month theme for June, but I need to sit with my team and ask them what they want me to talk about.
• 20:48
Speaker 1: I would love to get into more theme based topics, get more education, get more learning teaching out there.
• 20:54
Speaker 1: And also I love these cards at the end, because I'm also going through an emotional desert right now.
• 21:03
Speaker 1: I'm also going through a ton of internal dialogue work, clearing out more shadows, more dark nights of the soul, clearing out patterns that I thought were personality, but they are not in fact personality.
• 21:13
Speaker 1: They are epigenetics and things that I was taking on to survive.
• 21:20
Speaker 1: So I think I'm going to talk a little bit about that in June too, so stay tuned.
• 21:23
Speaker 1: But I just want to thank you all for being here.
• 21:25
Speaker 1: I hope you're having a lovely month of May, and summer is coming for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere and winter is coming for those of you in the lower hemisphere, in the southern hemisphere.
• 21:39
Speaker 1: But I just want to thank you all for being here.
• 21:41
Speaker 1: I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful Friday weekend and, from my soul to yours, have the most wonderful day.
• 21:47
  Speaker 1: Take care.
