- 0:00Chapter 51 from the book of Isaiah.
- 0:04I need a prayer this time especially.
- 0:07Dear God, please let the Holy Spirit give me wisdom as I speak
- 0:13through this. Because there were things that I
- 0:16noticed here that either I, I don't know, I just I will
- 0:22mention them as I go along. But I definitely need God's
- 0:25grace in speaking this today. So I ask for that in Jesus name,
- 0:31Amen. OK, this is chapter 51.
- 0:36Isaiah is speaking to Judah, I believe.
- 0:42Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the
- 0:47Lord. Look to the rock from which you
- 0:50were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn.
- 0:55Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth.
- 1:00When I called him, he was only one man, and I blessed him and
- 1:06made him many. The Lord will surely comfort
- 1:11Zion and will look with compassion on all her runes.
- 1:16He will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the
- 1:21garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found
- 1:25in her Thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
- 1:29OK, let's talk about this. So this is first of all in the
- 1:36beginning part it talks about look to the rock from which you
- 1:40were cut. Well, the rock also has a
- 1:44significance being Jesus, the cornerstone, the foundation, but
- 1:50he's, he is specifically talking about like there is this, this
- 1:55he says, well, I mean, it says, look to the rock which you were
- 1:59cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn.
- 2:03Look to Abraham, your father and to Sarah who gave you birth.
- 2:06So I think there's like multiple people here that he's saying,
- 2:10listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the
- 2:14Lord. So there's two things, two
- 2:16qualities of people that he's talking to, those who pursue
- 2:19righteousness and those who seek the Lord.
- 2:22And I know this is before Jesus, but so often Jesus is referred
- 2:28to as the rock in throughout the Scripture.
- 2:32So if you search the rock, you will see and you have to look at
- 2:35the Bible in whole context, but you will see that it, I mean,
- 2:41it's, it's mentioned in the dreams of Daniel.
- 2:44It's mentioned all throughout the Bible that Jesus is the
- 2:48cornerstone, the rock, the foundation, everything.
- 2:52Obviously they didn't know Jesus at that time.
- 2:56However, maybe they did know Jesus because there are what
- 2:59people called theophanies that happened where there's something
- 3:04someone described as a messenger or an Angel, but this person
- 3:09speaks as if they are God. And so when that happens, like
- 3:15the Angel in the burning Bush, for example, speaking to Moses,
- 3:20I have a feeling that might have been Jesus.
- 3:23The way he spoke to Moses, he, he, you know, he basically said,
- 3:28tell him, I am sent you. Well, that's God.
- 3:31That would be blasphemy. And that's what Jesus was
- 3:33crucified for. So I do think that is, I mean,
- 3:38an Angel wouldn't say that because there's other instances
- 3:41where an Angel sends a message and the person falls down to
- 3:46worship it and the Angel says, no, don't do that.
- 3:49I am a servant, I am a messenger.
- 3:50Do not do that. So the Angel says don't do it
- 3:53sometimes. But in the burning Bush that
- 3:58messenger or the Angel did not say that.
- 4:02The that messenger or Angel said I am tell him I am sent you.
- 4:07So was that Jesus question mark? So had they really known Jesus
- 4:13but not really known him? Then another time in fact with
- 4:18Abraham and Sarah when it was before, I guess it was before
- 4:24Sodom and Gomorrah got destroyed.
- 4:26And if you pay a close attention to that account, there were
- 4:30three angels who came to visit Sodom and Gomorrah to see if it
- 4:35was as bad as what the prayers that went to God, What he had
- 4:40heard, obviously he knew, but he was sending these three.
- 4:45And and so when they came, there were three of them, and one of
- 4:52them spoke a little differently than the other two.
- 4:55And one of them told Abraham that a year from now he would
- 5:00have a son. And he was like, what was it?
- 5:05I don't know. I know he's like close to 99 or
- 5:08Sarah was 90 years old. He might have been close to 100
- 5:12when Isaac was born. So anyway, this is like he was
- 5:17saying you're going to have a child about this time.
- 5:19And Sarah heard them and laughed.
- 5:22And that's what Isaac, I think means something about he laughed
- 5:25or something. So anyway, this pay close
- 5:30attention to that if you when you read that chapter about
- 5:33Sodom and Gomorrah destruction and there were three that first
- 5:37came to check out the situation and to give Abraham the future
- 5:42prophecy. And then when the actual
- 5:44destruction happened, there were only two angels that came, not
- 5:483. So again, that's another time
- 5:51where it seems like was that Jesus?
- 5:55And then I also think about what Jesus said when he said that no
- 6:00one has seen the Father except for the one who came from him,
- 6:05which is Jesus. And he said, but if you've seen
- 6:08me, you've seen the Father. So he, you know, then I think
- 6:14like did Moses really see the Father or did he see Jesus?
- 6:19Did he actually see Jesus? Because Moses, it says something
- 6:25in prophecy or something that the only one who is seeing him
- 6:29is Moses or something. And there was something on the
- 6:33at Mount Sinai when he spent 40 days and 40 nights on the
- 6:37mountain and received the 10 commandments from God.
- 6:41Now, Scripture doesn't doesn't lie.
- 6:47Scripture interprets scripture. So the question is, do we
- 6:52understand it? And I don't know.
- 6:55That's a question. And I don't think I haven't
- 6:57found anything in Scripture that could clarify this yet.
- 7:00That would be a mystery that we could ask God someday.
- 7:06Like, was it Jesus who came here?
- 7:08And then, oh, yeah, there's another one too.
- 7:09And God always does things in threes.
- 7:11This just came to mind. So in the Garden of Eden, it
- 7:15said that God was walking in the garden and called out to them.
- 7:22It was after they had sinned and they hid from him.
- 7:25And so it says, you know, God is spirit and God is omnipresent.
- 7:30He is everywhere at one time. So God in the flesh is Jesus.
- 7:39And so was it Jesus that was actually walking in the Garden
- 7:44of Eden? These are questions I don't have
- 7:46the answers to, but I'm just in. I'm interpreting scripture from
- 7:50Scripture and what is said. You have to put it all together
- 7:56and and Jesus was with the Father from the beginning.
- 8:00So he didn't just start out when he was born of Mary.
- 8:06That's not where he started. He was eternally with the
- 8:08Father. In fact, in the beginning in
- 8:11Genesis, when it talks about the Spirit hovering over, that's the
- 8:14evidence of the Holy Spirit there.
- 8:16And it it does call God Elohim, which is plural, the plural form
- 8:26of God. So it's the three persons in
- 8:31one, as I've been taught and, and the only reason I can say 3
- 8:36persons in one. I know there's, I've heard other
- 8:38people that just say, well, it's just God and Jesus, but that's
- 8:42not the case because we see all three present.
- 8:47When Jesus was baptized, he was in the water, came up out of the
- 8:52water and the people there, it said something like a dove was
- 8:59visibly seen and came upon Jesus and God said, this is my son who
- 9:08I'm well pleased. So that was where the like the
- 9:11Holy Spirit and the Father and the Son were all present at the
- 9:18same time. And so I.
- 9:21Yeah, there's a lot of mysteries, you know, then when
- 9:26you get into it and they, there's something about the
- 9:29seven spirits of God. So I don't know what all that
- 9:32is, but I know there are good spirits and there are evil
- 9:37spirits. And I, the Bible only gives us
- 9:42some information. We don't have everything.
- 9:44So there's and it's, it's, you know, there's some different
- 9:47creation in the heavenly realms than there are here on earth,
- 9:50obviously. But it's very interesting.
- 9:53Anyway, I'm kind of talking around too much about this.
- 9:56But so Jesus, it's the cornerstone, the rock, and he's
- 10:01the rock that will crush the last Kingdom in Daniel's dream.
- 10:07And that just aligns with all the other scripture.
- 10:10So then we get to the verse 3 where it says the, the Lord will
- 10:15surely comfort Zion. So Zion, that was another one
- 10:19that questioned me because I, I remember reading like, what's
- 10:22Zion? Where's Zion?
- 10:23And even today I looked up, you know, Mount Zion, where is Mount
- 10:27Zion? And so it's really kind of
- 10:29interesting. What you find is that Mount Zion
- 10:33is like a lot of different things, and so here's like a
- 10:37summation of it. In essence, while initially a
- 10:40specific hill, Mount Zion's meaning in the Bible expands to
- 10:45encompass the city of Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, and even the
- 10:51broader concept of God's chosen people and their land.
- 10:56So it gets really big. It gets really broad.
- 11:00But another thing that I did notice about Zion, and this will
- 11:04be something I won't do it because there are too many
- 11:08verses and my podcasts get too long.
- 11:11But if here, this is a wonderful resource.
- 11:14I've mentioned it before, blueletterbible.org, excellent
- 11:20study tool. So if you go to
- 11:23blueletterbible.org and just search Zion and you can look at
- 11:29all the searches for Old Testament and New Testament.
- 11:34And this is interesting. When you look in the Old
- 11:36Testament to see what you can do is on the toolbar that's on the
- 11:40left of the verse, click that thing that says tools and then
- 11:44find the word that says Zion. And it's, I think it's, let's
- 11:50see, Strong's H6725I think or no, that that might be the root
- 11:58word of it. I don't yeah, I think it is
- 12:036725. So if you search in the Old
- 12:06Testament, this is interesting. It shows up 153 times in 153
- 12:14verses. And what I noticed about it was
- 12:18that first it it, you know, like it's in David.
- 12:21David talks about Zion and David was actually prophetic, I think
- 12:26because the Psalms that he wrote spoke about things about Jesus.
- 12:31He probably didn't even know he was prophetic because I know
- 12:33there was Nathan the prophet who used to advise David, but I
- 12:37think David himself actually knew the Lord much more and he
- 12:42was known as the man who was after God's, what was after
- 12:47God's heart. Like he was really seeking the
- 12:50Lord. And anyway, I noticed that Zion
- 12:55is very often in more of the prophetic books than anything
- 13:02else. And it is it, it talks about
- 13:07like the heavenly, the heavenly Jerusalem in let's see, I want
- 13:14to find the 1st that I did write down because I thought this was
- 13:17kind of, this is kind of like a new thing that I learned that it
- 13:22seemed like a new thing. Well, it was a new thing to me,
- 13:25put it that way. And it's Psalm 76 two.
- 13:29I thought this is interesting. Psalm 76 Two, his tent is in
- 13:36Salem, his dwelling place in Zion.
- 13:42It made me think about this. So his tent is in Salem.
- 13:46That's another way of saying Jerusalem.
- 13:49His tent, a tent is something temporary.
- 13:53His tent is in Jerusalem, His dwelling place in Zion.
- 14:00God chose Jerusalem. Jesus is returning to Jerusalem,
- 14:04so that's his dwelling place. Like He is coming back and he
- 14:08will rule from this greater area called Zion.
- 14:13But it also says like God is in Psalm 74, verse 2, it says,
- 14:19remember the nation you purchased long ago, the people
- 14:23of your inheritance whom you redeemed, Mount Zion, where you
- 14:28dwell, That's one thing. But then it also talks about the
- 14:33heavenly throne that that's where Zion is, is the heavenly
- 14:41realm. And I don't I don't know where
- 14:43it is because there's 153 verses.
- 14:45So I did read it, but go to blue letter Bible and search Zion and
- 14:50read all the verses. Now here's what I was getting at
- 14:52with 153. Just a coincidence.
- 14:55Maybe, maybe not. And I looked in a couple
- 14:58different translations, but it's written 153 times.
- 15:01And isn't it like interesting how in the, when Jesus saw the
- 15:08disciples out fishing and they didn't, they couldn't catch any
- 15:11fish. And he said to throw the nut on
- 15:13the right side and then he they caught 153 fish.
- 15:18I thought that, you know, everybody thinks that they're
- 15:20like that specific number. There's something to that.
- 15:25And, and God is just so amazing and the Bible is it just like
- 15:32it. Things like this just never
- 15:36cease to amaze me. Just the fact that it's 153
- 15:39times. There is something about that
- 15:41number. And I just thought it was ironic
- 15:43when I opened up and saw in the Old Testament that Zion was
- 15:47mentioned 153 times. Then I searched in the New
- 15:51Testament and it's written 7 times.
- 15:54Isn't that interesting? Like these are like God's
- 15:57numbers and things like 7, the seven days of creation, the
- 16:02seven days of the week, the shabby, the, the Sabbath being
- 16:06on the 7th day, the, the MOA deems that they have their
- 16:11groups of seven. I mean, all of this is like
- 16:14symbolic and it's significant to God.
- 16:18Like God does speak in numbers and it's very fascinating.
- 16:23So I just thought that Zion is is very complex because it does
- 16:28mean all those things, but it seems like often it's written
- 16:33about in, in in the future heavenly Jerusalem.
- 16:40And in Hebrews 12 verse 22, it says, But you have come to Mount
- 16:44Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem.
- 16:50You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful
- 16:55assembly. And in Scripture it says, and is
- 17:00quoted by both Paul and Peter. For in Scripture it says, see, I
- 17:05lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and
- 17:10the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.
- 17:14That's Jesus. Then in Revelation chapter 14
- 17:20verse one about the end times, it says then I looked and there
- 17:24before me was the Lamb. That's Jesus.
- 17:27He's, you know, the symbolic Lamb, the one who is slain on
- 17:30the cross for all people, the sacrifice for to atone for all
- 17:34people sin. So then I looked and there
- 17:37before me was the Lamb standing on Mount Zion and with 144,000
- 17:43who had his name and his Father's name written on their
- 17:47foreheads. That verse I don't know what is
- 17:51right because in the new King James or King James version it
- 17:54just says the father's name written on his head.
- 17:57And when I was reading it, I have the NIV version and it says
- 18:02his name and the father's name. I don't know which one's right.
- 18:05I don't know which one is actually actually translated
- 18:09right. Did it have the son's name and
- 18:12the father's name written on their foreheads, or was it just
- 18:14the father's name? I think that's a significant
- 18:17detail. Does it really?
- 18:19I don't know that it necessarily matters to us.
- 18:24And I don't know, I mean like I, but I do think it's a
- 18:28significant detail that is written two different ways.
- 18:32And there is something in Revelation that says that anyone
- 18:35who takes away from our adds to in the Book of Revelation will
- 18:39be cursed. So I don't know who did that,
- 18:41but somebody did that and it leads to confusion.
- 18:45Not that it is a salvation matter for us, but it is
- 18:51something in Scripture that I don't know what the truth is
- 18:55there. Somebody did something with it
- 18:59and I don't, I don't know. But again, it doesn't take away
- 19:04from the overall message that we will have salvation through God
- 19:08and through the Holy Spirit. As Jesus said you we must be
- 19:13born again, born of the Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God.
- 19:16So that's the important part that we should know.
- 19:20I mean, the the big overall message isn't changed, but some
- 19:25of the details, I don't know, the little tiny details.
- 19:31So let's see, let's get back to Isaiah and what he says when he
- 19:35said he's going to make this Zion, the deserts like Eden,
- 19:41like the restoration. So there's going to be these
- 19:43lush, you know, beautiful grounds that have plants in it
- 19:49like Eden. Well, that hasn't happened yet.
- 19:51This is what I see is the Millennium happening during the
- 19:55Millennium after Jesus returns. And he so he goes on to say in
- 20:01verse 4, listen to me, my people, hear me.
- 20:03My nation instruction will go out from me.
- 20:07There's a couple different verses also that talks about and
- 20:12I didn't research this, but I did today see it in Micah and I
- 20:17think it might be also in Isaiah where it says instruction will
- 20:23go out from me. So Jesus will be teaching from
- 20:28Jerusalem's the nations will stream to Jerusalem to be taught
- 20:34and I'm going to see if I can find it right now to get those.
- 20:40Let's see to I don't know what I searched, how I came across it,
- 20:44but I'll put teach and see what comes up and see if I can find
- 20:51it. I don't know, I I'm I'm not sure
- 20:59and I will be stalling, but in prophecy I did see somewhere in
- 21:06there that the OK Isaiah chapter 2 verse 3.
- 21:14That's one location. So it says many peoples will
- 21:19come and say, come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to
- 21:23the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so
- 21:29that we may walk in his past. The law will go out from Zion,
- 21:34the word of the Lord from Jerusalem, and that when I read
- 21:38the law will go out from Zion and the word of the Lord from
- 21:41Jerusalem, that also hit me because the law is what I see as
- 21:47the 10 commandments. The law will go out from Zion.
- 21:51Zion is in this instance the heavenly throne of God the
- 21:57Father, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
- 22:01Jesus is referred to in the Gospel of John as the word
- 22:06became flesh, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
- 22:10So the law goes out from Zion, the heavenly realms and the word
- 22:15of the Lord from Jerusalem. So I don't know, I just, I think
- 22:21this is significant. I think, you know, it's the
- 22:23Father and the Son and the, the, you know, the Son says, I only
- 22:27speak what the Father tells me. He's in one in spirit with the
- 22:32Father. And so this is just, I don't
- 22:36know. It's very interesting.
- 22:38And in Micah, OK, Micah, maybe Micah's repeating this, but in
- 22:43Micah chapter 4, verse 2, many nations will, will come and say,
- 22:49come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the
- 22:53temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so
- 22:56that we may walk in His paths. So again, this is also said,
- 23:03instruction will go out for me. My justice will become a light
- 23:07to the nations. I'm going back to Isaiah chapter
- 23:1051. My righteousness draws near
- 23:14speedily. My salvation is on the way, and
- 23:18my arm will bring justice to the nations.
- 23:22So is Jesus the arm of the Father?
- 23:28I'm just, you know, thinking the islands will look to me and wait
- 23:34and hope for my arm. Lift up your eyes to the
- 23:39heavens. Look at the earth beneath.
- 23:41The heavens will vanish like smoke.
- 23:45The heavens will vanish like smoke.
- 23:47That's what Isaiah is saying. Well that made me think about
- 23:51the Book of Revelation where it says in chapter 6 verse 14 the
- 23:58heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up and every
- 24:04mountain and island was removed from its place in IA.
- 24:09In Isaiah 34 verse 4 it says let's see.
- 24:15Isaiah 34 four says all the stars in the sky will be
- 24:20dissolved and the heavens rolled up like a scroll.
- 24:25All the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the
- 24:31vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.
- 24:37So and then when Daniel has this vision, at the end of this
- 24:43vision he has in chapter 12, it says he replied, go your way,
- 24:47Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the
- 24:51end of until the time of the end.
- 24:55So these are, you know, this this rolling up like a scroll.
- 24:59The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up.
- 25:02The heavens rolled up like a scroll.
- 25:07These seem like it The heavens will vanish like smoke.
- 25:12So it just all of these things kind of tie together is the
- 25:17point when Jesus returns for his people is at the point where I
- 25:21know that's when the wrath begins because that's when Jesus
- 25:23comes down and the wrath then starts on people.
- 25:27And I wonder if that is the point where Satan and a third of
- 25:31the angels are cast, because in Isaiah 34 four, it says all the
- 25:35starry hosts will fall like withered leaves from the vine,
- 25:39like shriveled figs from the fig tree, like Jesus says we must be
- 25:43connected to the vine. We can do nothing if we are not
- 25:46connected to the vine. So maybe it's when the starry
- 25:50host in the Book of Revelation, the stars are angels, are
- 25:54angels. And so it says the dragon, which
- 25:58it tells us in Revelation is Satan and he takes a third of
- 26:03the, of the angels, 1/3 of the stars with his tail.
- 26:07He, they go down to earth and, and it's basically saying woe to
- 26:13the inhabitants of the earth because the wrath, and we're
- 26:15going to talk about that in a minute as well.
- 26:17So does it, does it happen like this?
- 26:20Like Jesus comes back and at that same time Satan is thrown
- 26:28down to the earth and that's when his wrath occurs.
- 26:31I don't know. I don't know about the timing of
- 26:33it. It's the book of Revelations
- 26:34really hard. But these are verses that make
- 26:38me lead me to these speculations about it.
- 26:41I guess the earth will wear out like a garment and it's
- 26:45inhabitants inhabitants die like flies.
- 26:49But my salvation will last forever.
- 26:52My righteousness will never fail the inhabitants Often I see in
- 26:58scripture, at least in the NIV version, I see inhabitants as
- 27:02not really the the holy ones or those who are practicing
- 27:06righteousness or those who are seeking the Lord.
- 27:08I see those as kind of the the worldly people.
- 27:13It there is a distinguished, it seems like the inhabitants in
- 27:18the Book of Revelation. All of a sudden, you know,
- 27:20there's a, there's a portion of time where it's talking about
- 27:23the elect and then all of a sudden it starts talking about
- 27:26the inhabitants of the earth. And it's during the wrath of God
- 27:32because there is a separation between tribulation and wrath
- 27:37like in the Book of Revelation. I think it's Philipsis is
- 27:43tribulation and wrath is orgae. So there are two different
- 27:49words. And again, when if you use the
- 27:51Blue Letter Bible, you can see where one is used and the where
- 27:55the other is used. So tribulation and wrath are not
- 27:59the same thing. And I think it's important for
- 28:01us when we look at prophecy that we do look at those two
- 28:05different things because I think that causes a lot of confusion
- 28:09in our in our understanding. Anyway, let's go back to Isaiah
- 28:13chapter 51, verse 7. Hear me, you who know what is
- 28:18right, you people who have taken my instruction to heart.
- 28:23So listen to this. This is like a promise for the
- 28:27righteous ones. None of us are righteous but the
- 28:30ones who know what is right. And then we take instruction to
- 28:36heart, like we sincerely want to do what is right, not only just
- 28:42know it, but actually do it. Like we show our belief by how
- 28:47we live, how we act, those who are surrendered to God.
- 28:51So hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have taken
- 28:56my instruction to heart, do not fear the reproach of mere
- 29:01mortals or be terrified by their insults.
- 29:05So we have nothing to fear. That's the thing.
- 29:08If we have the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit gives us courage,
- 29:12and we have nothing to fear. The things that people without
- 29:16the Holy Spirit fear, we will not fear when we have the Holy
- 29:20Spirit. So it says.
- 29:23For the moth will eat them up like a garment, the worm will
- 29:28devour them like a weed. But my righteousness will last
- 29:32forever, my salvation through all generations.
- 29:36So this isn't an eternal promise from God.
- 29:40Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength.
- 29:44Awake as in as in days gone by, as in generations of old.
- 29:50Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces?
- 29:55OK, I have to pause here about Rahab because Rahab cutting to
- 30:00pieces, there's twice that's written in the book in the
- 30:04Bible, in Job chapter 26 verse 12, it says by his power he
- 30:11churned up the sea. By his wisdom, he cut Rahab to
- 30:17pieces and then in. Yeah.
- 30:24And it says like, who pierced that monster through?
- 30:28That's what was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces?
- 30:32Who pierced that monster through?
- 30:34Well, who is Rahab the monster? Well, if we go back to the book
- 30:38of Job, we find out that Rahab is linked to Leviathan.
- 30:44Now, when you look up Leviathan, it occurs 6 times and I'm
- 30:49looking in the new King James Version and this is, you know,
- 30:54it's in Job, it's in Psalms, it's in Isaiah.
- 30:58That word Leviathan, may those who curse it, who curse the day,
- 31:05those who are ready to arouse Leviathan.
- 31:09I think Leviathan is spiritual. It's a created being, but I
- 31:15think it also has spiritual ink implications.
- 31:19And I'll tell you in a couple more verses.
- 31:22Why can you in Job 41, it says, can you draw out Leviathan with
- 31:27a hook or snare his tongue with a line which you lower?
- 31:31This is talking about how God is more powerful than Leviathan.
- 31:36Now here's where it gets really interesting.
- 31:38In Psalm 74 verse 14. This is really interesting, it
- 31:45says you broke the heads Pearl of Leviathan in pieces and gave
- 31:53him as food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
- 32:00OK that probably makes no sense to anyone but in context in the
- 32:04Bible you broke the heads. In the Book of Revelation it
- 32:08talks about a 7 headed beast. The dragon empowers the beast.
- 32:17The dragon is Satan. Satan empowers the beast.
- 32:21The beast is said to rise up out of the sea.
- 32:24Leviathan lives in the sea in in the book of Job that's where
- 32:30he's supposedly lives. And is this some spiritual?
- 32:34Is the sea the abyss When you know what is released out of the
- 32:39abyss? Is this some spiritual thing
- 32:42from days of long long ago that comes up in the end times that
- 32:50is over all the people and you broke the heads of leviathan and
- 32:56pieces. This is also saying about Jesus
- 32:58doing this and gave him his food to the people inhabiting the
- 33:02wilderness. So in the end times it there is
- 33:08a couple different suppers there that are talked about. 1 is a a
- 33:12good supper, the wedding supper of the lamb that in the heavenly
- 33:17realms with the Son of God. But then there's another supper
- 33:22of God that is on earth and that is the destruction with all the
- 33:28birds of prey that come to eat the kings and the mighty ones of
- 33:33the earth who are slaughtered. So there's a two different kinds
- 33:38of the the great supper of the lamb, which is really
- 33:42interesting. And so is this Leviathan that's
- 33:46defeated by Jesus when he returns.
- 33:49And Leviathan is, I think Leviathan is Satan actually.
- 33:54And here's where I draw that conclusion.
- 33:56Now it could be another being, but it just seems like Satan is
- 33:59kind of the ringleader the the major one that you know, tempted
- 34:03Jesus in the wilderness while he was there for 40 days when he
- 34:08was right after he was baptized, he came to him.
- 34:13Satan seems to be the ringleader of all this.
- 34:16OK, in Psalm one O 4 verse 26, it says they're the ships sail
- 34:20about there is that Leviathan which you have made to play
- 34:25there. So I don't get the connection
- 34:28between Leviathan and the sea. But you know, and then there's
- 34:31like this mythological creature. I don't know if these things are
- 34:35actually myths, but maybe they really were true at the time,
- 34:42but they no longer seen. So nobody believes it, but they
- 34:46will come back. Like there's something about,
- 34:51you know, that's something about these end times.
- 34:53It's going to bring terror on people.
- 34:54If we saw some like, you know, I don't know, something I, I
- 35:01think, you know, a lot of this is symbolic, but something from
- 35:05the past. Maybe it's just like these
- 35:07spirits from the past who have been somewhat dormant or
- 35:12imprisoned by God and they're released to do his wrath, to
- 35:18perform his wrath. It's it's not.
- 35:22I mean, God uses the intentions of the will of other of people
- 35:29for his purposes. So he is going to bring about
- 35:32wrath. He can use the will of these
- 35:36other spirits who want to do this, who want to, who seek to
- 35:38destroy. That's what Satan does.
- 35:40He seeks to kill and destroy so he can use Satan to accomplish
- 35:45his wrath. Just the thought that I had.
- 35:47Now here here's where I connect Satan with Leviathan in Isaiah
- 35:55chapter 27 verse one. In that day the Lord with his
- 36:00severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan, the
- 36:05fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent, and he will
- 36:11slay the reptile that is in the sea.
- 36:16So Jesus returns with a double edged sword.
- 36:21And all the way back in the book of Genesis it talks about the
- 36:25Lord putting enmity between Eve and the serpent.
- 36:30And this the serpent will strike his heel, but he will crush the
- 36:38head of the serpent. And in Psalm 74, it says you
- 36:42broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces.
- 36:46So there is, I think there's this like spiritual And then the
- 36:49other thing about the seven heads.
- 36:50I, this just came to mind while I was talking.
- 36:53But I you okay. In the spiritual world it it
- 36:58talks about somebody getting clean of evil spirits in the
- 37:01Bible and it says that spirits look for a body to inhabit.
- 37:07They don't have a body form and so they they roam the earth
- 37:11looking for a body. If one of them has been cast out
- 37:14of a person, it roams looking for another person.
- 37:18And if it doesn't find another person, it takes seven others
- 37:21that it's found and then goes back and inhabits that same
- 37:25person who is left emptied. So if that person gets rid of an
- 37:30evil spirit, that person needs the Holy Spirit so that those
- 37:35seven others can't come and and possess that person essentially.
- 37:40But I just now think it's really interesting that this beast in
- 37:45the Book of Revelation has seven heads.
- 37:48Is that symbolic of seven spirits, evil spirits that come
- 37:54back? I don't know.
- 37:57But again, in Isaiah 27, verse one, it talks about Leviathan,
- 38:03the fleeing serpent, the twisted servant serpent, and the reptile
- 38:08that is in the sea. The sea in Revelation is
- 38:12symbolic of peoples, of nations, of all of that.
- 38:16So while this is talking about this serpent, I think it's a
- 38:20spiritual thing. And I think there maybe are
- 38:23seven others that are with him in the end.
- 38:27And it it comes from among the people, like it's inhabited the
- 38:33people. So something will rise to
- 38:35governance in this last time, these last days.
- 38:38And it's a spiritual thing everybody's looking for.
- 38:42Who's going to be a part of it? Well, yeah, these people will be
- 38:44inhabited because they don't have the Holy Spirit.
- 38:46So they are empty and they're going to get something evil
- 38:52within them and then perform like God's wrath.
- 38:58But ultimately Jesus defeats this serpent.
- 39:02So that's the that's the good news.
- 39:05But isn't this amazing that Isaiah is really like tying in a
- 39:08lot of stuff of revelation? That seems confusing, but it's
- 39:11it's all tying it together in my mind as I'm reading through
- 39:15this. So let's go back to verse 10 In
- 39:20Isaiah 51, was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of
- 39:25the great deep, who made a road in the depths of the sea so that
- 39:30the redeemed might crossover? So this is literal and symbolic.
- 39:36We think about Moses, right? He made the sea part well
- 39:41through the power of God. The sea parted and then they
- 39:44were able to escape slavery from Egypt.
- 39:49And then the sea came back where the dry ground was and flooded
- 39:54all the people in the Chariots that were chasing the
- 39:56Israelites. So that was like the path the
- 39:59redeemed might crossover. And then again, that was
- 40:03symbolic. It was literal and symbolic
- 40:06because it's pointing to Jesus the Messiah who will take the
- 40:10redeemed from earth and and spare them from the wrath.
- 40:16But the remaining people, those who are against him, those who
- 40:20chose evil rather than God, they will be destroyed with wrath.
- 40:27So then it says those the Lord has rescued will return.
- 40:34So we have to go somewhere in order to return, right?
- 40:38So Jesus gathering people, I believe just like somebody else
- 40:44said this the Today earlier I listened to them, but they were
- 40:48talking about as in the days of Noah.
- 40:50So it will be at the coming of the Son of Man and people are
- 40:53eating and drinking and marrying and getting married and no one,
- 40:56they were taken by surprise and you know, 1 was taken and one
- 41:00was left. I believe Jesus gathers the
- 41:05people who are prepared and then those who are left are subject
- 41:12to his wrath because they have not chosen God.
- 41:15They have said I don't want you, you know, and they're just like
- 41:22Moses saved the Israelites. Jesus is going to do the same
- 41:28for those who are prepared and those who are waiting for him,
- 41:32looking for him, ready for him. It says that when we are saved,
- 41:36we are not subject to God's wrath.
- 41:40OK, so they will enter Zion. This is here Zion again.
- 41:46It's the this heavenly place where God's throne is.
- 41:51They will enter Zion with singing.
- 41:54Everlasting joy will crown their heads.
- 41:58God has rewards, he says. He says with me I come, and with
- 42:03me come my rewards, or something to that effect.
- 42:05This is when Jesus returns. Gladness and joy will overtake
- 42:09them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
- 42:14I even I, am he who comforts you.
- 42:19Who are Who are you that you fear Mere mortals, human beings
- 42:25are but grass that you forget the Lord, your Maker who
- 42:29stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the
- 42:32earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the
- 42:37wrath of the oppressor who is bent on destruction.
- 42:42OK, this is where I am thinking about Satan it because it's
- 42:47like, don't worry about mortals because you're forgetting who
- 42:51God is. You're forgetting that what he
- 42:55does, that he created all these things.
- 42:58And it says that you live in constant terror every day
- 43:01because of the wrath of the oppressor who is bent on
- 43:04destruction. Well, there's certainly lots of
- 43:07oppressors, lots of people bent on destruction.
- 43:10But that's also what Satan, he seeks to kill and destroy.
- 43:15So could it be that the this in Revelation is about Satan coming
- 43:25down being used by God because it says in Revelation chapter 12
- 43:29verse 12. Therefore rejoice, O heavens,
- 43:34and you who dwell in them, woe to the inhabitants.
- 43:39Remember I said the inhabitants or you know, the people who
- 43:42didn't really choose Jesus. Woe to the inhabitants of the
- 43:47earth and the sea. For the devil has come down to
- 43:52you having great wrath because he knows that he has a short
- 43:58time. So when it Yeah.
- 44:05So anyway, let me start back in Revelation same chapter 12 and
- 44:10start with 9 and read through 12.
- 44:12So in chapter 12, verse nine, so the great red dragon, which we
- 44:18so it was Satan was cast out that serpent there he ties to
- 44:22Leviathan, right? That serpent of old called the
- 44:25Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world.
- 44:31He was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with
- 44:36him. Then I heard a loud voice
- 44:39saying, in heaven now salvation and strength, and the Kingdom of
- 44:43our God, and the power of his Christ have come for the accuser
- 44:49of our brethren who accused them before our God day and night has
- 44:53been cast down. And they overcame him by the
- 44:58blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
- 45:02And they did not love their lives to, they did not love
- 45:07their their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens,
- 45:13and you who dwell in them, woe to the inhabitants of the earth
- 45:16and the sea. For the devil has come down to
- 45:18you having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short
- 45:22time. So just another question about
- 45:26the timing of all this stuff. So for where is the wrath of the
- 45:30oppressor? The cowering prisoners will soon
- 45:34be set free. They will not die in their
- 45:36dungeon, nor will they lack bread.
- 45:39For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its
- 45:45waves roar. The Lord Almighty is his name.
- 45:49I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the
- 45:54shadow of my hand. So I think this is God's
- 45:59protection, the shadow of my hand.
- 46:02A lot of times if you look up shadow, like He provided shadow
- 46:05for them during the day to keep the heat of the sun off of them
- 46:09in the Old Testament. And the shadow of his hand is a
- 46:13protection of God. I who set the heavens in place,
- 46:17who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, you
- 46:21are my people. Awake, awake, rise up,
- 46:26Jerusalem. I wonder if that refers to the
- 46:28resurrection. I don't know you who have drunk
- 46:32from the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath.
- 46:35So it's not saying that they've escaped wrath here.
- 46:39Rise up Jerusalem, punishment for idolatry and disobedience.
- 46:44That's what I believe the wrath of the Lord is disobedience.
- 46:50You know, in a lot of different ways.
- 46:53It could be an idolatry, whatever this like images that
- 46:58people start to worship and whatever that turns out to be
- 47:04and they have to take a mark that enables them to buy and
- 47:09sell. It's basically they're they're
- 47:13turning over their worship to whatever this thing is that
- 47:17requires a mark of the beast. This is some kind of mark or
- 47:21something that a symbol, I don't know what it is that people
- 47:29receive and they knowingly receive it.
- 47:32And it has to do with I believe that ultimately the servant, you
- 47:37know, the mark of the beast, the I think Satan empowers this 7
- 47:41headed beast, which is a spiritual thing which is
- 47:44embodied in people. So but these people get have the
- 47:49cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its stretches and the
- 47:54goblet that makes people stagger.
- 47:56Among all the children she bore, there was none to guide her.
- 48:00Among all the children she reared, there was none to take
- 48:03her by the hand. I think this is an indication of
- 48:07the lack of leadership that will be present at this time.
- 48:11There's no one to help. There's no one who's speaking
- 48:14the truth. It does say that there will be a
- 48:18great falling away in the day of the Lord or prior to the day of
- 48:22the Lord. So at that point, you know,
- 48:25maybe it is maybe the great falling away happens because
- 48:28those who have accepted Jesus and those who choose to live
- 48:32righteously and to look for Jesus return.
- 48:36Maybe they have been taken away to an area of protection or have
- 48:41been hidden somewhere here on earth for protection.
- 48:44During this time, if we are still present during the we are
- 48:47not subject to God's wrath. Maybe we're present, maybe we're
- 48:51not, maybe we're in another place, I don't know.
- 48:53It remains to be seen. That's a big question, but it's
- 48:57then Isaiah 51 chapter verse 19 says these double calamities
- 49:04have come upon you. Who can comfort you?
- 49:07Rune and destruction, famine and sword, Who can console you?
- 49:12OK, the double calamities, that's another thing to look at.
- 49:17If you look up double, you'll see that often that's what God
- 49:22does. He and he says several different
- 49:25times about double, like Job for one, he he was being tested and
- 49:31everything got taken away from him.
- 49:33But then God blessed his life doubly when he restored things.
- 49:38So there's double restoration often.
- 49:42But for the people of Israel who don't turn to the Lord, who
- 49:47don't recognize Jesus, there is it.
- 49:54It tells the Jewish people in the Old Testament.
- 49:57It warns them about this in Isaiah chapter 40, verse 2.
- 50:03Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and proclaim to her that her hard
- 50:09service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that
- 50:14she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins.
- 50:21So God has set a precedent in this.
- 50:23He's spoken this and it's for all her sins.
- 50:28There is, yeah, there's the the tribulation, the wrath of God
- 50:35that comes on and their payment is double for all their sins.
- 50:43And then when it talks about these double calamities, it
- 50:47talks about it specifically says ruin and destruction, famine and
- 50:52sword. If you look at Revelation
- 50:54chapter 6, that's what it talks about happens.
- 50:58There is first an oppressor, then there is war, so that's
- 51:01ruin and destruction. Then there is famine, which is,
- 51:06you know, our scarcity, which is the third seal I believe and the
- 51:12the 4th seal. So look at the the seals of
- 51:17Revelation and it seems like those are described here in
- 51:24verse 20 of chapter 51. Your children have fainted.
- 51:28They lie at every street corner like antelope caught in a net.
- 51:32They are filled with the wrath of the Lord, with the rebuke of
- 51:39your God. So the people who are here, the
- 51:43inhabitants of the earth, those who have rejected God, those who
- 51:47are not turned towards him, those who have not repented, who
- 51:51are not seeking the Lord, they are filled with the wrath of the
- 51:56Lord, with the rebuke of your God.
- 51:58Therefore hear this, you afflicted one made drunk, but
- 52:02not with wine. There, some would say they're
- 52:06drinking the Kool-aid of the other spirit.
- 52:09This is what your sovereign Lord says, your God who defends his
- 52:14people. See, I have taken out of your
- 52:18hand the cup that made you stagger from that cup, the
- 52:22goblet of my wrath. You will never drink again.
- 52:26So Jesus will stop it. This is Jesus, He will, he will
- 52:30took. Well, first of all, he tried to
- 52:32do that. He he took the cup of God's
- 52:36wrath when he died on the cross. He told his disciples to at the
- 52:42night of Passover when they were having a meal together.
- 52:46And he said, this is the cup of my blood.
- 52:48The blood has been poured out. I mean, people didn't understand
- 52:52what he was saying at the time. It's only in hindsight that
- 52:55these things are realized. But the cup of wrath and and
- 52:59Jesus prayed to the Father and he said, if you can take away
- 53:02this, this cup from me, he's talking about the cup of the
- 53:05wrath. Let it be.
- 53:07But if not, your will be done. Well, that was God's will.
- 53:11Jesus had to die on the cross. He had to break that curse so
- 53:14that all of us, Jesus's future brothers and sisters could be in
- 53:19God's Kingdom with him. So the cup of wrath, he, Jesus
- 53:23had to drink from it on the cross.
- 53:26And but he's taken away this cup.
- 53:30So there's going to be a punishment of Israel that is
- 53:33because of idolatry and disobedience.
- 53:38That is going to come. And it will happen probably
- 53:42during this time when this beast rises up.
- 53:46Leviathan, the spiritual thing that is coming from the past,
- 53:50from days of old that will come into the present that will
- 53:54attack Israel, I will put into the hands, but God will turn
- 53:59this around. Like there's only going to be so
- 54:02much of it and then God's going to turn it around.
- 54:04And I seriously wonder, was October 7th part of that?
- 54:09You know, that was like thousands of people just, you
- 54:12know, innocently families, you know, that just were slaughtered
- 54:18by the enemy. I think there was a spirit when
- 54:20you learn more about what those people that's that slaughtered
- 54:25the people of Israel, what you learn about them that and what
- 54:30they found in some of the they they found books on Hitler and
- 54:35they found like these kids are being taught at a very young age
- 54:39to hate Jews like that is something spiritual.
- 54:43Anybody that teaches hate and and they it's like rewards if
- 54:49you kill them. I mean, they they actually
- 54:52received monetary rewards for having killed.
- 54:57There was a recording, I remember when it was all going
- 54:59on, I was watching a channel that had these recordings or
- 55:04tapes of these people. This one guy who was part of the
- 55:09slaughter and he's calling his mom like being happy about what
- 55:15he did. And it's just like when evil is
- 55:21known as good and good evil. I mean, that's that's the times
- 55:26that we were certainly seeing when that happened.
- 55:29Like, how could anyone think that evil was actually good?
- 55:33Innocent people. These weren't people in combat.
- 55:35They were innocently in their homes with their families just
- 55:39taken and destroyed. I mean, it very much sounds like
- 55:42this Bible prophecy about what was prophesied would happen.
- 55:47I mean, there were pregnant women whose wombs were cut open
- 55:51and there were, there was actually like a baby put into an
- 55:55oven and baked. I mean, these are like
- 55:57horrendous things that happened. And I mean, I, I really, I don't
- 56:02know. I mean, this is just awful.
- 56:04And if it gets, if this is not God's wrath or I, I don't know,
- 56:10I mean, if it gets worse than this, I can't even imagine.
- 56:13I do not want to be here for that because that is just
- 56:18horrendous. But God will put an end to it.
- 56:21He goes, I will put it into the hands of your tormentors who
- 56:25said to you fall prostate that we may walk on you and you and
- 56:32you made your back like the ground like a street to be
- 56:36walked on. So is this, you know, like I, I
- 56:42did see this, I mean, like where there were wicked people with
- 56:46their foot on the head of a Jewish person.
- 56:50I mean, there were these horrible things and these these
- 56:52people who were murdered were like paraded around on display
- 56:57for others to see along in Gaza. It was just, it was terrible.
- 57:01It was so inhumane and brutal. And I cannot see how some people
- 57:07today are not, are forgetting that like that was just like
- 57:12unprovoked. It was just like unreal what
- 57:15actually happened there. And, and I just think about this
- 57:19like forced worship. And this is where I asked for
- 57:23the grace of God, because I know that there will be some Muslims
- 57:27who will be saved by God, Some that will their eyes will be
- 57:32opened. But I'm concerned about the the
- 57:38Islam that is seen in the Middle East, the terrorist type of
- 57:45Islam, those who say that they practice Islam and those who are
- 57:50bent on death and destruction, it only seems like their God
- 57:54must be Satan, because that's what Satan wants, death and
- 57:56destruction. And and then the thing that they
- 58:00do, these terrorists that actually decapitate people, and
- 58:06they do this to Christians too. And so it is very concerning
- 58:12about that religion. How can someone call that?
- 58:16I know that there are there are Christians who cause them call
- 58:21themselves Christians that don't act like Christians.
- 58:24So there are these great imposters of people.
- 58:27And maybe that's what it is. Maybe it's just that we can't
- 58:30say that like all Christians are bad because of what happened
- 58:34like a long time ago with the Crusades, because those people
- 58:38were not Christians. And it must be the same for I
- 58:42have to believe that. It must be the same for the
- 58:45people who are not these radical terrorist Islamic people.
- 58:51But the fact that the religion actually talks about Jews and
- 58:55Christians being forced to worship and if they don't, they
- 58:59will be destroyed. That's in the Quran and that's
- 59:03really concerning to me, or at least in the hadiths.
- 59:06And so I, I just like it. It seems like so concerning.
- 59:11And, and maybe there are some people just who grew up with
- 59:15that, that religion and they don't see the dark side of it
- 59:20all. But if you get deep into it and
- 59:23you see these things like anyone who forces somebody to be in
- 59:30that religion or just die, it that doesn't seem like love.
- 59:37I don't you know, Christians don't shouldn't they are not
- 59:42called to force anybody. God doesn't force anybody to
- 59:45believe. There is an there is an eventual
- 59:49it does say the vengeance of God will come and it will like there
- 59:57there is a there is a law. I mean people that re reject
- 1:00:00God. It'll be through God that people
- 1:00:04do. They are eternally separated.
- 1:00:07They will get what they want to not be with God because they
- 1:00:10don't know the true God. And so it's we're at a time
- 1:00:16where we, it's really, really important to be in the word of
- 1:00:20God. And yes, God is love, but if God
- 1:00:26is love, he cannot tolerate hate.
- 1:00:29He can't have hate and destruction in this world.
- 1:00:34It has to be dealt with and those who destroy, as it says
- 1:00:41here will be destroyed. And so we all have to be careful
- 1:00:47that we are not a part of any religion that actually not to be
- 1:00:52radical with the religion that we belong to.
- 1:00:56And religion is really something that I don't know if it's, I
- 1:01:03don't know. There can be like bad things
- 1:01:06about religion. It's so important to truly know
- 1:01:09God and to have a relationship with God and to be seeking God
- 1:01:14in prayer and through scripture and to actually love other
- 1:01:19people, to be concerned about other people and to bring other
- 1:01:23people into the Kingdom of God. We don't force anyone to come
- 1:01:27into the Kingdom of God, but there are great things in store
- 1:01:32that Jesus said he left and he was going to the Father to
- 1:01:36prepare a place. And there is a future.
- 1:01:41There is a future eternity. There will be a restoration,
- 1:01:46there will be joy. People will be happy.
- 1:01:49Their death will be gone. There will be true peace only
- 1:01:54when Jesus returns. Jesus said up until that time,
- 1:01:56there's going to be war after war and rumors of war.
- 1:01:59It's just not going to go away. We're in a time frame right now
- 1:02:03in the world where people think that peace is coming, but
- 1:02:07prophecy warns us. It says when people say peace
- 1:02:10and safety, then will come sudden destruction.
- 1:02:13So Jesus isn't here yet. So there won't be peace.
- 1:02:19It's going to be a false sense of peace and then will come
- 1:02:22sudden destruction. So the most important thing, if
- 1:02:25we're here in peace and safety, we better be close to God right
- 1:02:28now because sudden destruction comes.
- 1:02:32If sudden destruction comes, we better make sure that our
- 1:02:34relationship with God is solid, rock solid, so that if we get
- 1:02:40destroyed when the sudden destruction comes, we will be in
- 1:02:44the Kingdom of God. We can know that before we die,
- 1:02:48and some of us won't even die. If we're alive.
- 1:02:51When Jesus returns, there will be no death experienced.
- 1:02:54We will rise to meet him in the sky, and our bodies will be
- 1:02:58changed into the imperishable type.
- 1:03:01We will have a new body when Jesus returns.
- 1:03:03People get new bodies. There's so much that is in store
- 1:03:07for us. And I don't know that churches
- 1:03:11talk about these things like Christian churches.
- 1:03:13A lot of them don't talk about this.
- 1:03:15But we should be focused on the Kingdom of God and bringing
- 1:03:21others into the Kingdom. Like God sent out people to
- 1:03:26populate the earth, to rule over the earth.
- 1:03:29And he want, he wants a family and those who accept him and who
- 1:03:37love him back, those who are obedient to his commands will be
- 1:03:41in the Kingdom of God. And a lot of people aren't even
- 1:03:44aware of this. And that's why it's so important
- 1:03:46for us to, if we know this, to let others know, not force them
- 1:03:52into believing this, but just tell them, pray, pray to God,
- 1:03:57get into the Bible, read the Bible and ask God about things
- 1:04:02that are not get a study Bible. The quest study Bible is an
- 1:04:08excellent study Bible. It helps.
- 1:04:10It has a hundred of the most asked questions in it.
- 1:04:14So but just start or get on blue letter Bible and start reading
- 1:04:18it and and studying it and asking questions about it and
- 1:04:23letting Scripture interpret scripture and talking with other
- 1:04:26people about it. But the main thing is preparing,
- 1:04:32you know, to surrender our natural sinful self to, to God
- 1:04:39and let God's Holy Spirit work in our lives so that we become
- 1:04:43more holy like God and we start to desire the things of God and
- 1:04:48that we can in love bring other people as brothers and sisters
- 1:04:53into God's Kingdom or help them be aware of it so they can make
- 1:04:56that choice. So that's what the Bible is all
- 1:04:59about. It's, it's the way to eternity.
- 1:05:04It's about God. It's the revelation of God, who
- 1:05:07he is, how much he loves us and what he has in store for us.
- 1:05:11And it's how we get there. And that's what I was starting
- 1:05:14to say is we can know before we die if we're going to be in
- 1:05:16God's Kingdom, if we've accepted, if we believe Jesus
- 1:05:21died for our sins and rose from the dead and lives today, he's
- 1:05:26not dead. And and we believe that he took
- 1:05:29care of that so that we don't have to die for our sins.
- 1:05:33Then we don't have to worry about the judgement if we had
- 1:05:36the Holy Spirit. And we are willing to let God
- 1:05:39start changing our lives and turn US away from sin if we're
- 1:05:43willing to do that and with the help of the Holy Spirit, that's
- 1:05:46what Jesus said. He said you must be born again
- 1:05:51and no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born
- 1:05:55again. And that Jesus said, I am the
- 1:05:57way, that he is the way, the truth and the life.
- 1:06:00And no one comes to the Father except through him.
- 1:06:04So it's Jesus. Jesus is so important.
- 1:06:07He is the Son of God. And there are many other
- 1:06:11religions who don't believe he is the Son of God.
- 1:06:15And that's where, if if you don't believe that he is the Son
- 1:06:17of God, then you won't believe that his sacrifice made
- 1:06:21atonement for us so that we can be in the Kingdom of God.
- 1:06:25And that's a that's a huge problem about being in eternity.
- 1:06:32That's the only way we can be in eternity.
- 1:06:34And it's not by all of our good works.
- 1:06:36Our good works are basically gratitude to God because he did
- 1:06:40save us, because he did this for us, that we want to be good to
- 1:06:45other people. And but it's all about, it's all
- 1:06:49about the glory of God. Everything ultimately points to
- 1:06:54the glory of God, recognizing the glory of God, and hopefully
- 1:06:58opening up others eyes to the glory of God so that we can all
- 1:07:03be in God's Kingdom one day.
